WORST PEOPLE AND THIEVES. I reached on Day 1 at 5 AM. One "street guy" type agent asked that I have to pay Rupees 700 from Morning 5 : 00 AM to next day (Day 2) 12 PM. This means that it exceeded 24 hours. I already got a doubt that these people would not be so Good to give a room for 31 hours for Rupees 800. [Initially they stated only 700]. I was tired an took it on emergency. ON DAY 2, THEY STARTED DEMANDING AN GIVING INSTRUCTIONS THAT IT HAS ALREADY EXCEEDED 24 HOURS AND I NEED TO PAY EXTRA FOR 7 HOURS. I WAS ALREADY AT AMMAN TEMPLE, THAT TIME. Anyways, I did NOT PAY ANY EXTRA AMOUNT AS I WAS ASKED 800 for 31 Hours. There was a BIG QUARREL ....

On my personal experience, it was really affordable. The rooms were neat & clean. The staffs were friendly too. Haved a great time there.

Bad attitude, I have reached hotel at around 11pm ,I was asking for facilities which are not provided and owner asked me to vacate if i don't like,as I cannot vacate at that time. Blanket and towel were not good. Never encourage PPL with such attitude.
Goverdhan N — Google review
I could have given zero stars if I could.IT REALLY IS THE WORST.the caretaker here have deep trust issues and won't give a damn about you.LISTEN TO ME,AND DONT TAKE A ROOM.TROUBLE WILL FIND YOU SOONER OR LATER.dont be lured by cheap prices ,stay vigilant and cautious
Dr. A — Google review
Good, well kept, neat place. Rooms are not too spacious, but has a king size bed, table, and mirror, no cupboards, but good if you're looking for a couple of nights stay. Also, it's very close (10 min walkable distance) to Kanyakumari railway station.
Shreyaelma — Google review
Single room with attached bathroom. Ground floor room door is right in front of check in desk, so a bit uncomfortable. Alright for the price though. About one kilometer away from the beach. So just enough for a walk. The road towards here is a bit small and you might miss it easily. So be watchful or just use this app (google maps) to easily find the way. The beach and railway station are in the same direction with railway station coming first and beach later
Vishnu S — Google review
Located near the main road, easy to reach from the Kanyakumari railway station it's an 15 mits walk. It's near 2 kilometres from the beach, radu to access to ATM, restaurants, tea shop, the staffs are friendly, dn't have any disturbance in stay, an neat and compact room. Not a fancy hotel. Price are affordable.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and my room was spotless and comfortable. The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions. The on-site amenities were top-notch, I especially enjoyed all the things. This hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience. Overall, it was a great experience!!
Saravana R — Google review
The property is just amazing, so beautifully designed, we just loved it. The swimming pool, the kids play area are perfectly placed in the entire property. We stayed for 2 nights in the Premier Villa and celebrated our daughter birthday. We had a great stay. The reception staff needs to be little polite though, while checking out the room, they were really rude and didn’t speak well. Reason we were 30mins late as our daughter (5yo) took more time in getting ready. I would recommend the property if you want to have a luxury experience.
Rashmi R — Google review
Booked leisure stay with family in 2 Executive premium rooms with breakfast. Amazing place that is very close to most site seeing places at Kanyakumari. Breakfast was yummy and had lots of variety. Staff are friendly. In-room service was also very nice for my mother. Cleaning staff were courteous. We had a good time
P P — Google review
VERY DISSOPOINTED EXPERIENCE We visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the service fell far below acceptable standards. After being seated, we were left unattended for over 20 minutes — no greeting, no menus, no water, and no acknowledgment from any staff member. Despite making eye contact with a few team members, no one approached our table. Eventually, we decided to leave without being served. While we understand that restaurants can get busy, completely ignoring guests is simply not acceptable. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving basic customer service and attentiveness
Bavithra S — Google review
It was an amazing experience. The battery buggy service to the room and restaurant. The blue wave 🌊, infinity pool drinks and the lovey atmosphere. Special thanks to the desk and to the room service was immediate and on spot. Every issue was taken into consideration. Thank you the amazing stay. Would love come back again.
Andrew L — Google review
We have recently stayed at this property. It was absolutely amazing! The view from resort towards the beach was stunning, with crystal-clear blue waters. The resort's amenities were top-notch, including excellent dining options, breakfast was amazing with spectacular South Indian cuisine and friendly staffs. The rooms were comfortable. Disappointed realizing that the sunset view is too far from the resort’s location were simply spectacular. A perfect destination for relaxation and fun!"

The hotel provides amenities such as a fitness center, rooftop terrace, complimentary wireless internet access, and tour/ticket assistance. Guests can dine at the on-site restaurant or take advantage of 24-hour room service. Additionally, it offers a paid airport shuttle service for convenience.
The rooms are very cozy with basic amenities neatly maintained and well located in the area to reach all the tourist places. Plenty of food varieties available in the nearby market area. Complimentary breakfast, Car Parking available in the Hotel. AC & TV available (working condition) Easy Check-in and Checkout procedure. Room charges are worthy (valued) considering the location and easy accessibility. Thanks to Reception staffs.
Varun K — Google review
very good experiance. Neat and clean rooms. Spacious too. Good hospitality. Very near to Vivekananda boat ferry. Compliment breakfast included which is also good. The only one remark is there is no Sea view for the hotel . Else it is good for a stay .
Prasanth E — Google review
Please don't book here. The AC conditioning works only for a few minutes and then cuts off. Thermostat is faulty. The remote does not work. The fan regulator was not working properly. The intercom was not working to complain. The room always had a suffocating atmosphere. We had to walk to downstairs to complain multiple times and even after providing us with another room, it still had the same faulty air conditioning. Breakfast was meh. The only good point about this hotel is the view from the top during my breakfast. My room was on 1st floor. The alternative room which was also at fault was on 3th floor. The rooms are clean but as I said, there's always this suffocation everywhere. I don't know if it's drainage or something else. The parking space is too short in front of hotel, maybe 3 or 4 at most if your cars are under 4 meters in length. There's always a busy road in front so beware.
Joel R — Google review
Please note that this is a 3 star hotel and expect services accordingly..that said the rooms are small.. averagely neat but does the job .. AC and TV works .. decent bathrooms with hot and cold water. The service provided was surprisingly good … breakfast was tasty and the location is Perfect .. you can walk to the beach and value for money if you compromise.

Very quick services. Rooms were good and location was awesome. We enjoyed our stay with this hotel and recommend the same.

Idk why but it was bad the rooms was so small and there was so many awards on the reception and I thought It was good but tbh it was the worst. And the brkfst was good tho and u get the ocean view while eating.

We had a one night stay. It costed 1500 for 5 people for night stay. The owner is very humble and good person. Even he helped us by giving another empty room keys to have quick bath. Definately recommend this one for budget friendly people who just need a place for night sleep.

Overall nice. Rooms are a bit small otherwise good location, nice staff, affordable, twin beds, clean. Recommended as a budget hotel.
Srijita G — Google review
Horrible Stay – Bed Bugs Everywhere! I stayed at Hotel Rehabooth, Kanyakumari, on the night of August 14, and it was a horrible experience. The room had a severe bed bug problem, making the stay extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. Hygiene and cleanliness were clearly not maintained. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.
Back B — Google review
Hi, at kanyakumari the lodge service is very pathetic. He is giving 2 towels for 6 members, saying that all are in the same family. If you don't want, then cancel the room and go. The old man is just working for this lodge, feeling like an owner. This lodge experience is very very bad.
Venkata K — Google review
Rooms size is small and average. In washroom soap hanger is not available. Moreover they haven't provided any kind of bedsheet or towel.
Sujith L — Google review
On the same street, there are three different hotels with similar names: Hotel Rehoboth, Hotel Rehoboth Home Stay, and Hotel Rehoboth Grand. This particular Hotel Rehoboth is farther from the temple and railway station compared to the other two, but it has the advantage of being close to the Kanyakumari entrance bus stop. Additionally, there’s a nice Siva temple directly opposite the hotel. A few drawbacks include the lack of a lift, meaning guests need to use the stairs, and the limited nearby dining options. For breakfast or lunch, guests need to walk a considerable distance to Hotel Chitra Pure Vegetarian inside Vivekanandapuram. However, the reception staff are very helpful and friendly, offering great assistance with sightseeing information.

Renovations were going on. Great rooms. Good food but expensive. Right on the beach.
Arun A — Google review
Great location in town to get to all the sights. 20/25 minute walk to the ferry to get a trip out to the island, about the same distance the other way to get to sunset point. The staff at the hotel we're very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there. Our room was quite good, a little old but clean. The aircon sort of worked but we needed the fan on as well to keep the room at a sensible temperature. We ate at the hotel and really enjoyed the food plus the friendly service. We didn't use the pool but it looked very good. Overall, a good stay in a good location
Brian C — Google review
The hotel is slightly old and the rooms definitely need a renovation. The service was not that great. I was asked for checkout time even before I could check in. They kept insisting on 10AM as the checkout time even though I told them I have to leave early in the morning itself. Not sure why this push. At the breakfast and dinner which I had from their restaurant the staff weren't very interested in helping you. 3-4 of them stood in a corner and were chatting. I would recommend to step out and have your meals if you have the transport options because the price is not worth it at all. Overall the location is great and rooms are decent but service is bad.
Manu S — Google review
Value for money. Check in and check out processes were smooth. Staffs were courteous Deluxe room - Spacious yet needs to be renovated. Bed lamps are not safe it was earthening a bit. Air conditioning unit was old one and doesn't fit for the room size, took a lot of time to settle in. Ambience - Pool and garden area neatly maintained. Restaurant service was decent, could've more options in buffet Location - Excellent 👌👌 just opposite of sea view
Rajkumar P — Google review
I stayed at Sparsa Hotel Kanyakumari for one night on August 1st. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. We arrived at the hotel around 4 pm and were immediately greeted by a strong smell of paint in the lobby, as the hotel was undergoing renovation. When we checked into our room, we found it to be quite different from what was advertised on their website. The interiors did not match the photos, and the bathroom was not clean. Many of the amenities appeared old and poorly maintained. When we contacted reception to request a room change, we were told that it was not possible. To make matters worse, we were informed at check-in that we needed to check out by 10 am the next day, even though the standard check-out time is typically 12 noon. It is frustrating and disappointing to see that the hotel is still accepting guests while undergoing such significant renovations. It would have been more considerate to close the hotel temporarily rather than subject guests to such subpar conditions. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service, and I would not recommend staying here. We traveled all the way from Malaysia and expected much better from this hotel.
Niwashini J — Google review
The place has a beach frontage and looks like an old property --rooms are neat and spacious --but we can get only a glimpse of the sea and that too from a few rooms. Hence the charm in checking into the hotel which is quite pricey , is lost. We had to literally beg for a room with a sea view to which they finally obliged. Moreover this cannot be called a resort since the property is not very big except for the landscaped garden in front .And the amenities available in a resort are lacking in the rooms and especially the bathrooms which are quite small and moderate unlike the ones seen in good resorts. They have to definitely improve on it to rise to the level of a resort. The redeeming factor is the proximity to the sea and sun rise and sun set view points which is just a walking distance away. Good for a one day stay
Shailaja S — Google review
It's time for a renovation, or at least a deep cleaning by outsourcing through high-tech vacuum machine cleaning, to give the rooms a classic look. Updating some old items, like replacing basic LED TVs with smart TVs and installing good curtains, would make a difference. Keeping pets around the swimming pool is not a good choice where we found bird feathers in the pool

The location is really good. They have many rooms. But a few things they need to upgrade. We stayed here for 2 nights. Geysers should be installed as we were not able to get warm water as they have solar panels. Staff is courteous and polite. Also please keep your kitchen functional.
Gulshan V — Google review
Everythings are good in this hotel, mostly the staffs are cooperative, rooms are neat and clean, location is good because it is near to stations, side seens and most importantly the temple and Vivek Ananda rock memorial, these are all nearer to hotel. Overall the hotel is good !
Sudip S — Google review
My stay at New Cape Hotel was comfortable, despite the rooms having an old-fashioned charm. The best part of this hotel is its proximity to the railway station, making it extremely convenient for travelers on the move. The location saved me time and effort for commuting, which was a significant plus. Overall, it's a good choice if you’re looking for a simple, practical stay close to transportation links.
Anjan H — Google review
The overall stay was decent. The room, bed, and pillow were average in terms of comfort. It was quite difficult to manage in the non-AC room due to the heat and lack of ventilation. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience better. If you’re planning to stay here, it’s best to go for an AC room.
Parimala J — Google review
We stayed in New Cape Hotel for one night. The standard Ac rooms are good for two person, neat and clean. The staffs are good. The location is the main attraction. It is just opposite to the railway station(at main road), near to sunrise point and walking distance from Vivekananda rock ferry service. Overall a good experience.

MANISH B — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife during our trip to Kanyakumari. Unfortunately, it turned into a very horrible and unsafe experience. We booked a Premium Room and checked in at 9 AM. After sightseeing the whole day, we returned to our room at night. Around 11:30 PM, someone tried to open our door using a key. My wife was terrified. I asked who it was, but they did not reply and kept trying to open the door for nearly 3 minutes. I called the reception two times, but no one answered. The people outside were shouting loudly in Tamil and roaming the floors the whole night. We couldn’t sleep the entire night because of fear. The next morning, the reception casually told us that about 50 men had checked in, and since they were uneducated and no guided to their rooms, they might have tried opening ours “by mistake.” This is unacceptable. If the hotel management knows a large group is checking in, it is their responsibility to escort them and maintain discipline instead of letting them disturb other guests. This was supposed to be a peaceful trip for us, but the lack of security, irresponsible staff, and no control over noisy guests made it a nightmare. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to families or couples. Safety and basic hospitality were completely missing.

Excellent Stay at Hotel Raj Palace! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Raj Palace. The room was well maintained and perfect for a group of 5 people — it had one double bed, a single bed, and an extra bed, which was very convenient. The pricing was very economical, especially considering the comfort and cleanliness offered. The highlight of our stay was the staff. They were extremely helpful and polite, especially the receptionist who made sure all our needs were taken care of with a warm smile. Highly recommend this place for families or small groups looking for a budget-friendly and pleasant stay! 👌

I stayed here with my parents we had a bad experience here. The room was dirty, with coffee stains on the floor, dirty bathroom, dusty chairs and cobwebs on the wall. The room boys were begging for tips and hardly got any job done. The receptionist was rude. Not at all recommended especially for a family getaway or vacation.
Jannet N — Google review
The stay was okay at this price. Staffs are non very cooperative but manageable if you can manage them. Only one bad experience with the travel agency they referred. While entering the hotel they were constantly behind us to book the bus for taking a tour around, which was for Rs. 200 pp. The driver took us from the hotel but dropped us at the Road side in the heat of 40 degree temperature, walking from there to the stay was exhausting to my parents, who are senior citizens. I would have instead book an auto for the same price who would have taken us to the same places, and would have dropped us to the same place.

The room and building is an old maintained one. The room interior is old style. You can smell old dust and room. But for me, i have no problem at all this price range. We 3 people stay at 800 Rs. It's value to stay here. Bathrooms are not very neat. Dust smell in the bathroom. Location is best. Walkable distance all around the main places.

I used it only for 1 night's sleep. Room cleaning is okay, and it's okay to stay for 1 or 2 nights' sleep based on my 1-night stay. For the amount it's worth staying. To reach the beach and railway station, it's in reachable distance. Nearby bus stops and hotel food are also available.

1. 🛏️ Non-AC room with queen-size bed. 2. 💸 Price: ₹650 via Booking.com. 3. 👍 Room was okay for a short stay. 4. 🧹 Basic cleanliness and comfort. 5. ✅ Budget-friendly option for solo travelers.

The rooms were very bad, it's not worth the money. You can get better hotels with ac for the same price or less. The ceilings were cracked, the fans worked only at one speed, beds were stained and dirty. The tourist attractions were far from the location and the nearby restaurants were also not so good. Overall I don't recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel is located only at a distance of 800 mtr from kanniyakumari railway station. The sunset view point is at a distance of 500mtr from the hotel. Behaviour of the staffs were really very good. All rooms are non AC room. The rooms looks old but everything was well maintained. The hotel has two floors, the ground and the 1st floor. Parking space is also available there. They will provide you with water whenever u ask. Budget friendly and good hotel.

Annai Celestial Resorts is situated at the southernmost tip of India, offering an ideal location to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. While the hotel may appear a bit worn, its facilities are well-maintained and cater to guests' needs. The rooms provide a comfortable stay with sea views and easy access to the sunrise point and temple. Although the restaurant serves quality food, there might be delays in serving.
Excellent location, sea facing, near to sight seeing places, on arrival welcome drink with always smiling and helpful staff. Newly renovated rooms and excellent. Some renovation work is still happening but the stay was still good. Very good house keeping staff who will ensure all your asks are immediately addressed. Mr Selvaraj incharge of housekeeping was very courteous and helpful. Beautiful swimming pool. I would recommend this place with no second thoughts. Good for family.

This is not a resort, it is one star hotel, the rooms are all very old with bare minimum furniture, bed sheets smells, does not look like they wash it after guest are checked out. No safe in the room. Mosquitoes in room. Dinner was good, break fast bare minimum, mostly south Indian, only one cereal type which was stale. website is misleading, rooms are not deluxe. Rooms are like guest house. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star, this is NOT the place to choose. I would not recommend if you are coming from Europe or USA

Hotel Sun Park is a family-friendly accommodation conveniently located just 300 meters from Kanyakumari Railway Station. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with good amenities such as air conditioning and hot water. Guests have praised the courteous staff and the nearby restaurant. While it may not offer luxurious facilities, it provides good value for money, making it a suitable choice for budget-conscious travelers.
I had booked a family room that accommodated 4 adults and 2 children. It's definitely worth the money. Neat and clean rooms ample space. They also have a parking lot. 1km away from Kanyakumari temple.

I have stayed this hotel recently. I check the hotel rating and booked this hotel. Unfortunately the hotel was very unclean and the rooms are not up to the mark. While booking they told me, have complimentary breakfast. But the breakfast was not ready till 9.00 am They don’t have any buffet system and the hotel is very unclean. Bathroom was not at all cleaned and will ask them to come and clean, they will not come, instead ask money to clean the room. I am not at all recommending this hotel for stay. Still I have astonished how they got this much rating in make my trip. Also the hotel staff make fun of their guests when requesting for any services. This is completely unacceptable under any circumstances. I recommend to please not allow people to stay in such hotels at any cost.

Very costly with the provided amenities. No Hot water. No breakfast. Only good one is Mattress. For that proper pricing should be somewhere around Rs.1100 to 1200 . But they charged Rs. 1800 + 50 Tips = Rs. 1850. Google shows as 3 star hotel.? I have not been to 3 star hotel earlier, Not sure if this is what the real 3 star is. 🤔 It is just a normal hotel. However I give 2 star.

Clean- spacious rooms, early check in was accomodated by the receptionist reasonably charged but unable to give 10/10 because of one personnel ( the aged person especially during the night shift times always seemed to have a frown on his face. Looked absolutely constipated. He told us that the parking space in front of the hotel was reserved for cars and we had to park the bike at the basement of the hotel. Our bike is actually more expensive than a regular hatch back car. Wonder why such step motherly attitude towards bikes. Either people should be familiar of the difference between vehicles or have a first come first serve basis rule instead adapting a blindly biased attitude is not actually hospitable especially in the hotel industry.

They charge you by providing with no clean and neat room, no house keeping service, no dental kit, not providing cushion & blanket for taking extra bed... Moreover, they provide you at free of cost i.e. unprofessional and unethical of behaviour of staff like guests are intruder for them.
Vipul P — Google review
I stayed here for 2 days. The location and overall stay were average. The hotel is close to the railway station, but it’s quite far from Kanyakumari Temple and the beach—you need to book an auto to reach them, which turned out to be expensive for me. I recommend staying near the Amma Temple area so that you can walk to the sunrise point, Triveni Sangam, and Vivekananda Memorial, and save on auto charges. Another important point: there are no vegetarian hotels near this property, but you’ll find many vegetarian restaurants near the temple.

Hotel Sangam is a modest yet inviting hotel located just 500 meters from Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station. The rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and private bathrooms with baths. The hotel's rooftop restaurant provides a fantastic breakfast with panoramic cityscape views. Guests can enjoy the enchanting sea view from their cozy accommodations and visit nearby attractions like Bhagavati Amman Temple.
Hotel Sangam is a clean and simple place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious, and the management puts in good effort to keep the space tidy. Hot water is available, and they offer a good breakfast along with coffee and tea. While they don’t provide lunch or dinner, it’s not an issue since the street is filled with restaurants and bars. If needed, the staff can even get food from nearby shops upon request. One thing to note is that full payment is required at check-in, but we were allowed to check the room before making the payment, which was appreciated. Overall, we felt safe and had a comfortable stay.

Yesterday I visited this Sangam Hotel, Kanyakumari at around 10.30 pm with my son and relative for a double bed room. When I asked for availability of a room at reception counter, the person aged around 60 years rudely behaved with us. He was like " Only rooms with 4 beds and 16 beds are available ". When I politely told him " Anna, we want 3 rooms with double beds as we are 8 persons including 2 kids", his response was " Go Go.. Don't stand here". I can't understand how such person has been allowed at reception counter to deal with customers. The management should realise the fact that who you are visiting this hotel, many of them are capable to buy this hotel also.

Sunset View Point offers a stunning vantage point to witness the sunset, conveniently situated within walking distance from Kanyakumari market. It's considered a must-see attraction during a visit to Kanyakumari. Visitors have the option to stroll or use transportation to reach this picturesque location, which promises an incredible view of both sunrise and sunset.
Sunset at end of Indian mainland is an experience. The view point is well maintained and ample car parking space . Suggestions An initial fees is collected and then you are guided to sunset view point I will say look up sunset time, get 20 to 30 mins earlier and park before the sunset view point. You can walk from the first parking area to sunset view point in 10 to 15 mins. Parking near view point is charged additional. Nicely maintained and lots of small shops too to try some food.

Experienced a beautiful sunset at sunset point kanniyakumari. Sunset was so stunning with sky painted in orange and pink colour. Stone benches also there to sit & relax and enjoy the sunset. If you go earlier that before 5.30pm to that place. You can get to sit a last bench, and it's a perfect spot to take photos. But the place is not clean. People throw plastic bottles and papers everywhere. Government should take care of it and clear that . And should place dustbins. It's near to the parking. So you can enjoy the sunset and get in to your car so relaxly.

Wonderful place to watch sunset. The place can accommodate quite a number of people. Best to take auto to reach. They charge 100-150₹ depending on distance. Autos are available while returning also. Sunset is spectacular from this spot. If you have time lapse on your phone camera use it. A must see if you are visiting Kanyakumari.

Well the sunset point is near to hotel Annai resorts where we were staying but unfortunately due to clouds there was no view on 07.03.25. ample parking space is available, vendors were selling eatables. It's on a beach road. This beach road connects the sunrise and sunset point.

A nice place and well maintained by the authorities considering so many people visiting the place every day. There are fish vendors nearby that spoil the overall experience with the smell emanating all around. There are govt run buggy services from the kanyakumari temple which is almost 2km away. Auto guys loot money for sure so make your own arrangements. There is also good parking space available if you reach at least 45min before sunset time. Overall ambience is very good to experience with sun setting across the horizon.

His warm demeanor made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Only good thing about the hotel is the location. Literally everything you need to see in Kanyakumari is within the range of 1-2kms. Rest everything else sucks. I have never given such a bad review for any hotel or used such words. But I am highly disappointed with the stay. I travelled with my parents and booked a 3 bed ac room for 2 days. The AC remote was not working. No towels or toiletries were provided. No electric kettles. No water bottles. Only 2 soaps and 1 glass for 3 people. Even after requesting the helper, he didn't give us glasses. When we checked in, the hotel manager was not there. The helper was rude. I have seen him talking to other guests rudely too. This is not done. We pay for the hotel for good experience and not for some rude staff talking to us like he is doing us some favour. Two days and not even for once they asked us if we needed something. Forget that, he didn't even provide was with the water glasses we requested for. I should have paid some more money and booked another hotel rather than staying here. If there was the option to give negative stars, i would have done that. Not recommended. 0/10 All the best! I don't know how people are actually writing positive reviews.
Barsha R — Google review
This restaurant is not worth the cost; it's just an okay place to stay. However, the hotel needs significant improvement, as they do not prioritize customer satisfaction. Our major concern was that they did not allow early check-in, which was quite inconvenient. If you're planning to arrive before 12 PM, this hotel may not be a good choice for you. That said, there are better hotels nearby for a slightly higher price.

Worst Hotel in the area. It is not 3 star, but just like a regular lodge. They deliberately canceled my booking, and gave me room with extra cost of 600 Rs. It was late in the night and I was with family, so they took the advantage. Also the room was dirty and bathroom was worst then a 3rd class lodge(see picture). Also there is No Temple view, there are lots of building in between hotel and Temple. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Sky Ark is a comfortable and convenient accommodation option in Kanyakumari. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, airport transportation, and complimentary parking for guests. Located near the Kanyakumari Railway Station and Bus Station, the hotel provides easy access to explore the city. Additionally, it boasts an in-house restaurant serving Indian cuisine, a minimarket, and tour organization services for interested guests.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff was warm, welcoming, and extremely professional. Their courteous manners and attention to detail made me feel truly valued as a guest. The facilities were top-notch—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for. Overall, my stay was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and outstanding facilities. I will definitely be returning.

The staff was extremely rude. He forced all five of us into a very small lift along with our luggage. The room mats were dirty, the rooms themselves were tiny, and there was no hot water. There were too many mosquitoes, and the AC wasn’t working properly. We couldn’t even slow down the ceiling fan—it only worked at full speed and would shut off if we tried to adjust it. The staff seemed completely money-minded. One of them demanded money just for calling an auto, even though it was already right outside—we could have called it ourselves, but he rushed and took the money anyway. Overall, it was a very bad experience. The place shows a 4+ rating, and I honestly don’t understand how people could rate this residency so highly. I feel completely scammed by the misleading reviews.
Usha M — Google review
It's the worst hotel I have ever been. First of all they don't have 24 hour hot water, water only comes in morning it seems... And they dont inform before you take the room if you ask why you didn't inform they simply say you didn't ask... We get tired and come to fresh up with cold water? I asked them please arrange something, please arrange a 3 bucket of hot water. They told they can manage 2 but brought only one and vanished. 24 hour front desk service is a complete lie. They can't even provide some chilled drinking water. The room smelled weird so I asked room spray, he sprayed and started asking cash. In the front dest also they only take cash, if you don't have cash and want to pay online that is not an option they directly say there is an ATM nearby. The room is not very big the bedsheets smell of dust. Everywhere you can find dust they don't maintain any hygiene. I am giving this review so others don't have this experience like mine...

Budget hotel but no in house restaurant. Have parking space. Nearby you can find basic facilities. Walkable distance to beach side. Staffs are humble and helpful. Room amenities were provided like dental, soap, shampoo etc. no complimentary tea or coffee. Budget travellers are highly recommended.

Very pathetic. Should be called Sky Ark Lodge. No room service. Even for morning tea we had to request the waiter to get from somewhere across the road. Rooms, especially quad share (family) were huge and good. AC great but other rooms especially without the balcony were just a place not to be.

This was by far the WORST hotel experience ever. Nothing was as promised. No proper service, no hot water, unhygienic bathrooms, and dirty rooms. The blankets were filthy, stinking, and without covers. The entire place reeked of bad odor and was filled with mosquitoes, making it impossible to sleep. Staff was careless and unprofessional, showing no concern for guests. It felt unsafe, unclean, and completely mismanaged. Nestled in the heart of Kanyakumari, Hotel Viswa Grand is a delightful retreat that promises an unforgettable stay. With its impeccable service and essential amenities, guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout their visit, ensuring you stay connected with loved ones. The hotel offers convenient airport transfer services for seamless arrivals and departures, along with free on-site parking for those traveling by car. Guests can unwind at the rooftop swimming pool or indulge in some leisure time at the wellness center and billiards table.
Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vishwa Grand! The food was really tasty, and the service was great throughout. The swimming pool and overall location are amazing. From the terrace, you get a beautiful sunset view along with a stunning glimpse of Kanyakumari. Rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable perfect for both couples and families. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. 📍 Nearest attraction: Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

Hotel Grand Viswa stands out as one of the few 4-star properties in Kanyakumari, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. The rooms, especially the Executive category, are spacious with two king-size beds and sea-facing views on both the east and west sides. Guests can enjoy breathtaking sunrise and sunset views from the terrace deck, which also houses a well-maintained rooftop swimming pool overlooking the ocean. The washrooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with 24-hour water supply, ensuring a hassle-free stay. A special mention to Mr. Nayak, who made the booking experience smooth and even extended a good discount. The in-house restaurant serves a wide range of dishes, and the buffet options are excellent—offering great variety and value for money. Being a popular choice for reputed travel groups like Kesari and Veena World, the hotel maintains its service quality well. However, it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, especially at breakfast and dinner. Despite this, the staff handles the rush efficiently, and the hotel provides ample parking space. Overall, Grand Viswa is a wonderful place to stay for both leisure and family travelers visiting Kanyakumari.

Rooms are good and clean. Staff is not accommodative. The food order took nearly 2 hours to be served, but was very spicy. We did complain about the same to the GM of the hotel. The house keeping staff was not friendly. It was not a great experience at this hotel. From outside it looks nice, but they need to fix their staff to be accommodative to travelers.
Sandeep B — Google review
Good view (possibly highest in that area) and moderate rooms. Staff members are friendly Food taste is good. But make sure you check item prices and verify bill. (Our bill was revised and reduced when asked for printed copy. Few items are overpriced. E.g. Plain 3 bread slices cost 80 Rs)

We took 5 rooms and the ambience is good and food at restaurant is great. The only shortfall is the hospitality service. Seems no one is allowed to smile. The restaurant incharge has to improve a lot. Rest all good

We booked a reservation for 6th of September night, on arrival, it seemed alright although over the phone during the booking process, the person handling the booking was very rude and seemed disinterested in our booking and overall, he doesn't know basic English required. He is very rude. On arrival we checked into the rooms, there was a bathtub in one of the room, We booked two rooms, the bathtub was very disgusting it has yellow stains in it. Also later in the night we went for dinner, very rude waiter, took very long to serve our first set of food, even with less number of people. When we ordered the second set of food, he left after the food and didn't return at all, when we called out for the waiter, he rudely said "wait.", we understand there are customers but it takes the least to minimum say "Please wait sir" we wanted to ask how much longer to consider cancelling as it had been more than 20 minutes. The waiter did not return. Later we went and spoke to him to cancel it, and he immediately strikes it off and says cancelled while speaking in a rude tone. Later we went to complain to the manager, and he also spoke very rudely, the manager is GM Prabhu, very bad hospitality, very bad management. Overall worst. Never coming back.

I was part of a group of 13 travelling to Kanyakumari and stayed at Viswa. It was a welcoming stay with adequate amenities. The highlight however, was waking up to the sunrise out of the room window. The rooms were spectacularly positioned. In case you missed it you can see either sunset or sunrise from viewing deck on the roof. There is a small swimming pool as well. Good was ok to good but a number of items were off the menu. However, the food they had was pretty good. Breakfast was really good and a huge variety.
Pras K — Google review
The staff management in the hotel was horrible. The food was delayed for too long. The waiter was rude and arrogant, ignoring customers when complaints were raised. The washrooms were soo dirty and unhygienic. Not worth it

Excellent Stay & Outstanding Managerial Support I had an amazing stay at VLS HOLIDAY HOME. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-maintained, offering a peaceful ambiance. A special thanks to Mrs.Sheela(Manager) who went above and beyond to ensure we had a hassle-free experience. Her professionalism, warm hospitality and prompt responses, truly made a difference. I highly recommend VLS HOLIDAY HOME to anyone looking for a wonderful hospitality experience. Will definitely visit again!

Great place for family visiting Kanyakumari. We stayed in a villa with two neat rooms ,one hall and a common bathroom.Everything was clean and nicely maintained.Their garden also looks really beautiful and a good place for taking pictures. Also this place is nearby to the major tourist spots in kanyakumari. We really enjoyed the stay here.👍🏻

Decent clean room in quiet locality, just 5 minutes by autorickshaw to the railway station. Fresh hot breakfast was provided at 8 am sharp. Friendly staff.
Padmaja D — Google review
Disrespectful and Discriminatory Treatment If you’re from outside Tamil Nadu—beware. The treatment at VLS Holiday Home was discriminatory and insulting. We were assigned corner rooms on the first floor, inaccessible for our elderly parents, even though plenty of better rooms were available on the ground floor for local guests. Despite our repeated requests, no help was offered, and we were met with rude, unhelpful staff and an unapologetic owner. The amenities? Nonexistent. No toilet paper, no toiletries, no intercom, no guest service. You have to climb stairs to make a request—and no one is ever available. Wi-Fi is non-functional, and even basic cleanliness was lacking. The online ratings are fake. This place should not be listed as a hospitality business. Avoid it completely.
Daisy K — Google review
I had high hopes for this homestay in Kanyakumari based on the reviews, but my experience was far from pleasant. The location was decent, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. The room was poorly maintained — dusty shelves, cobwebs in the corners, and the bedsheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in a while. The bathroom was worse: broken tap, stained toilet, and barely any hot water. All in all, this was a letdown. For the price, you’re better off booking a budget hotel with proper facilities. I would not recommend this place unless they make serious improvements.
Joshita — Google review
Harsh Reality Behind 5-Star Reviews Do not trust the 5-star reviews of VLS Holiday Home—they are completely misleading and likely fabricated. We booked based on these reviews and deeply regretted it. Our elderly parents were forced to climb stairs to distant corner rooms on the first floor because the management refused to accommodate them on the ground floor, which was conveniently occupied by local guests and young couples. No lift, no Wi-Fi in rooms, and zero willingness to help. We were in distress and literally cried for help, but the staff stood indifferent. No amenities, no parking, no service. The road to the property is a narrow muddy lane where you’re on your own—no help with luggage, no reception support, and rude, arrogant behavior from the owner. A deeply disappointing, discriminatory, and exhausting experience. Never again.
Alpna A — Google review
An Absolute Nightmare for Families Staying at VLS Holiday Home was a terrible mistake. We trusted the online ratings and ended up in a place with no parking, no service, no compassion. The rooms have zero amenities—no toiletries, no towels (just one small piece), no toilet rolls, no TV remote. You’re expected to walk a muddy, non-concrete path with luggage and no help from anyone. Our elderly parents struggled immensely, yet the staff showed no concern or flexibility. The Wi-Fi is a joke, the owner is rude, and the staff are worse. The ground-floor rooms are reserved for locals; others are shoved into inaccessible corners with no facilities. This is not just poor hospitality—it’s inhuman.

We stayed at VLS Holiday Home, Kanyakumari with 11 friends for a weekend getaway in May 2025. We booked two 2BHK rooms and found the stay extremely comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with RO drinking water and 24x7 hot water. All the ACs worked perfectly, ensuring a cool and relaxing environment. This place is very near to the Kanyakumari railway station and you can reach just by less than 10 mins walk. Bathrooms were hygienic and neatly kept, adding to our comfort. Overall, a 5-star experience — highly recommended for group stays (both family and bachelors)

Super OYO Flagship Hotel Aljemin in Kanyakumari offers a comfortable stay near the picturesque Kanyakumari Beach. The hotel provides well-maintained rooms with modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs and en suite wet rooms. It's suitable for various types of travelers, such as friends, families, couples, and solo travelers.
A budget hotel 🏨 in the main area of Kanyakumari. We weren’t able to find any good accommodation so our driver recommended us to stay here since we were looking for AC room less than Rs. 2500 The room was spacious, although very basic amenities were provided but for the proper we paid, I guess it’s a great deal ✌🏻

THEY ARE BUYING POSITIVE REVIEWS, DONT TRUST THEM. The room was in terrible condition. There were a lot of cocreches, toilet was bad. There was extremely bad smell to the room for entire 2 days of our stay. The cost was very high. Staff immediately asked us for 50rs for carrying 1 small bag to the room, and was not ready to take less than that!
Sumit R — Google review
Recently I, alongwith 5 of my family members stayed in this hotel on 25th and 26 th of April 2025. We had booked the reservation through OYO and made the full payment. We were allotted 3 rooms on the first floor. The service provided was very poor. One room boy was there, who was not attending to any of the guests. No lifts, no facilities provided for preparation of even a black coffee/tea. Rooms are somewhat spacious but very untidy. In two of the three rooms, the geyser was not working. First day went like that. Next morning when we were getting ready to go out, the room boy came and demanded money for tea.He told that he will be coming next day afternoon and by the time we would have vacated the rooms. So he wanted payment in advance. We didn't pay any money and we left to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. When we came back in the afternoon, there was no water in all the three of our rooms. We complained to the manager, he was unable to get it right. He told that the plumber had some repair work and he has already left for lunch. He has not taken his mobile also. No way to contact him. We were becoming very anxious since we wanted to have a bath and use toilets too. The Hotel proprietor also came, but of no use. After almost one and half hours the plumber came and went up the top floor and turned some valves and water supply was restored. It was done in a quite innocent manner. All other rooms were having water. Water supply to only our three rooms were cut off. TVs are provided in the rooms. No paid channels subscribed, not even a sports channel is available. Next morning we checked out. Immediately one lady came and asked for tea money. Didn't pay any money and we left. Altogether, the service was very poor. We do not recommend anybody to stay in this Hotel on their visit on holidays to Kanyakumari. You will be certainly disappointed. 1. Service is very poor 2. Rooms are very untidy 3. No facility provided for tea/coffee in the room. 4. Location is not ideal. There is a distance of more than half kms to the beach. 5. Unresponsive staff.

DOS 02/06/2025. Room no 301. It wasn't a pleasent stay, Although the room was big, yet there were few concerns. 1. The toilets had stains on the floor, which could have been wipped off using an acid 2. The buckets and mug had salty deposits on it. 3. The shower wasn't functioning properly, as the waters leaked out of it. 4. The cupboards too weren't clean. 5. The BIGGEST problem was the AC never functioned properly, every now and then the power supply was tripping off, when asked for help, the staffs blamed the electricity supply and refused to help, but I had my doubts, I had to survive on fan. The only pros that I found were 1. The room was big. 2. They helped in early check-in 3. The hotel is very close to the railway station (hardly 10 min walk, 500meter).
Rickson J — Google review
OYO, please avoid recommending this hotel to your clients. The OYO room No. 303 was infested with baby cockroaches. The bed linen was nasty and shabby by the previous occupants. The caretaker replaced them only after arguments. Power supply was very poor voltage between 6 pm to 10.30 pm with room AC and fan not working. The bathroom was very dirty and revulsing. Kindly, avoid this place.

Had a disrespecting experience in this hotel! A person is there in office ..... He said the room rent per day (it was costlier) so that i requested him could you reduce the amount of the rate. He said no, and i also agreed the amount and paid the payment through UPI. After that..He said to enter my address on that ledger, in between i had a call on my phone so i attended the call suddenly he shouted Shut the call !! Shut the call !! First fill it! he said. Enter your correct address otherwise police will come to your house! After that, he said you should only pay what we're asking. no more questioning to us!! So i said I'll book in oyo app by next time. suddenly he replied if you booked we don't allow to enter you in hotel before 12pm ! And asking my fiancés id proof. We felt very humiliated by his behaviour . We said him are you not want to give us a room tell it straightly to us don't behave like this ...So that we decided to cancel the room then asked for refund . He said we don't give refund wait and ask when owner comes! We asked when he'll come ? I don't know that! he says. Had a worst worst experience in hospitality in my entire life . Felt like it's not a good place for couples ‼️

We (Family of 4) had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The hotel is situated in a calm and quiet neighborhood, which made for a peaceful night's sleep. One of the standout features was the ample parking space—no hassle at all, even during peak hours. The location is also a big plus: it's conveniently close to all major attractions, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time in transit. Overall, a great value for the price, family friendly and a perfect base for a short or extended stay.

The hotel offers ample parking space, and upon arrival, the staff promptly assisted us in reaching our room. Both the room and the toilet were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. A unique feature was the cloth stand outside each room, which I haven't encountered at other hotels. The facilities were quite satisfactory, and the hotel even helps with ordering food from outside. Additionally, they offer an affordable half-day trip plan to visit several nearby attractions. One suggestion for the management: the toilet in my room had a small open space for ventilation, which might make some of the guests feel uncomfortable. It would be great if something can be done. Overall a good place to stay in Kanyakumari.

Memorable Experience at Hotel Jebasakthy, Kanyakumari! I'm thrilled to share my exceptional experience at Hotel Jebasakthy in Kanyakumari. Water heater available in each room. The additional small space allocated for dining(with a sink facility), luggage storage and hanging clothes is a thoughtful touch, ensuring that rooms remain neat and odour free after food and dress change. There is enough space and hanger infront of each room to dry washed clothes. The staff at Hotel Jebasakthy are warm, and attentive. The service was prompt, efficient, and courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Kanyakumari's attractions. The Coral in Kanyakumari offers elegant suites and rooms with top-notch amenities, just a short distance from Kanyakumari Beach. Guests can relax on the hotel terrace and enjoy stunning sea views after a day of exploring the city. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay for families. The hotel's restaurant serves good food, with a breakfast buffet that includes mostly vegetarian options along with eggs.
A very nice hotel. Rooms are very big. Rooms are clean. Washrooms are also good. It has a bar and restaurant. Restaurant offers a good variety of Indian, South Indian, Continental and Chinese food. Bar is also good. You can have your food there too. Room and washroom linen is fresh and crisp. Laundry service is available on request. Plenty of parking space within hotel premises. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good but not on beach. Early morning a rooster will wake you up with his sharp root. Only sore point is security staff manning the main entry gate always looking for tips every time you come in or go out.

My stay at Coral Kanyakumari Hotel was truly memorable. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the sea beach, making it perfect for catching sunrise views and evening strolls. The ambience of the hotel is soothing and elegant, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling tourist spots. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and give off a luxurious vibe while still being cost-effective, making it great value for money. The food was delicious, with a good mix of local and multi-cuisine options. A special mention to the restaurant manager, whose warm behavior and exceptional management skills added a personal touch to the dining experience. His attentiveness and professionalism stood out. Overall, Coral Kanyakumari offers comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the southern tip of India.

I recently stayed at The Coral Kanyakumari, and it was truly an exceptional experience! This is undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve visited in the area. The property is impeccably maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that provide a perfect retreat for relaxation. The standout feature of this hotel is its incredible team. The staff are always available, friendly, and go above and beyond to assist guests at any time. Their dedication to hospitality truly sets The Coral apart. The restaurant at the hotel is equally impressive, offering high-quality food at very reasonable rates. Every meal I had there was delicious and satisfying. Overall, The Coral Kanyakumari is a gem! If you’re planning a trip to Kanyakumari, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

Terrible hotel, avoid at all costs. The only good thing about this hotel is the rooms, and that's about it. The bathrooms are small but clean, the staff is rude and the AC is barely capable of cooling the room. The most disappointing thing is the service. Terrible service, we didn't get any breakfast even though we paid for it. The breakfast is from 7:00 - 10:00 and we sat there at the time of 9:30. There were no options and nothing and we ultimately decided to leave this hotel even though we had planned a 2 day visit here. This trash hotel ruined our day completely, we drove from Chandigarh to Kanyakumari and this was the most disappointing one we found yet. South really doesn't have good hotels at all, especially at this popular of a place. Just avoid. The hotel crew knows very well that they cannot meet the demand from the people having breakfast, and they confessed it to their manager in front of me. Avoid this, rather stay at annai to avoid ruining your trip

It was mentioned as 2 star hotel but surprisingly they r better then the 5 star hotel Room was spacious, clean n staff was friendly. They have a restaurant which serve delicious food. Special thanks to the restaurant manager Mr Tusik for accommodating our request..Pay less n gain more or less the same feel of a five star hotel..why not

Hotel John is a budget-friendly accommodation located in Kanyakumari, offering clean and well-maintained rooms at an affordable price. While some guests have mentioned the lack of elevators, the hotel's cleanliness and family-friendly environment make it a good choice for travelers on a budget. Situated near popular attractions such as Kanyakumari Temple and Kanyakumari Beach, the hotel provides easy access to key landmarks. Guests can expect friendly staff and comfortable rooms with ample natural light.
I stayed here for some hours to have rest my back on mid of a 500 km drive. Goibibo had a great promotion at the time and I got a room for 220 bucks, which was a real steal. While I see some negative reviews here related to the hotel, the point is, at the end of the day, for the money paid, this is good. Also, as always, what you pay is what you get. 1. It's a 3 tiered hotel with no lifts, so expect a climb. 2. You get an average room, no air-conditioning, an average toilet which has been cleaned and a TV with Tamil channels. 3. It's centrally located and within walking distance of the ferry which takes you to Vivekananda memorial. That's it. Nothing remarkable. Not bad.
Divyansh H — Google review
This is by far the worst place where I stayed during my 2 months in India so far. The rooms are very overpriced for what you get. The room is moldy, there were stains and a hole in the bedsheet. And the pillow looked like it could have come out of a horror movie when I checked it and put the cover off: it was so moldy that it looked like mushrooms could grow out of it at any minute!! Also there was no drinking water provided, even when you asked for it. No wifi in the room was my least concern, but is also disappointing. My advice: Save your money and stay at another place.
Jostijn V — Google review
Worst room. Worst people. Worst service. Absolutely the Worst Hotel Experience Ever! This place is a complete disaster. Basic amenities? Non-existent. Fan: NOT working Tap: Faulty Lights: Flickering or dead Blankets: Thin Door locks: Unsafe and unreliable The staff were beyond useless — rude, and disrespectful. Felt more like dealing with street bullies than hospitality professionals. This place doesn’t deserve a single star. It should be shut down for how poorly it’s maintained. Do yourself a favor — AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Shubha S — Google review
Extremely Disappointing Stay I recently stayed at Hotel John, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The room was nothing like the pictures—dirty rooms, peeling paint, and a strong musty smell that hit me the moment I walked in. The bedding looked unwashed, with visible stains, and the bathroom was equally appalling, with mold in the shower and dirty tiles and mirrors. To make matters worse, they did not provide basic necessities like water bottles, towels, soaps/ hand wash etc. A dirty empty water jug and glasses were kept. Did not provide water even when asked and gave the reason that this is a small hotel. The owner (John) initially had a mocking tone towards me (me being north indian), but when I confronted him, he toned down and apologised. When I took him to my room and asked about the appalling condition of the room, he started giving lame excuses. For the price I paid, I expected a basic level of cleanliness and service, but Hotel John failed miserably on both fronts. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—save your money and book elsewhere. There are hundreds of room nearby. Go to the rooms and only then book. Don't get lured by low prices especially when traveling with family. An absolute shame

Dont book this hotel online. I did book in make my trip and paid full amount. 6 hours later when i reached at the location, the staff at the reception told me that they dont have any room available for me. I was alone and very desperate to hear this at the time of 10pm at night. Luckily there are lot of hotels available in Kanyakumari and i had to book another one. I did lost around 1000+ money on that day for this booking. Worst staff experience dont book. Dont.!!!!

Hotel Alankar is a budget-friendly accommodation option suitable for short stays. The hotel's proximity to the beach allows guests to easily access stunning sunrise and sunset views, which can also be enjoyed from the terrace. The staff is known for their friendly and helpful demeanor. Keep in mind that the hotel is located 100 meters away from the main road, and it's advisable to carry sufficient cash as online and wallet payments are not accepted, with ATMs often being out of service.
Good ambience and amenities. Rooms are neat and clean. Strongly suggests for budget friendly option

Every staff member here is incredibly rude. They don't listen to anything you say, and they don't show respect to North Indian people. I booked a room for 3 people, but after paying, they provided a room for 2 people. When we discussed it, they didn’t listen

I have travelled almost all of India and in my life I have never experienced such a third class quality place. It is not a hotel, it is a worst dharamshala. They gave me a room so dirty that I couldn't sleep one hour properly, I had run away after few hours. The toilets were broken, doors were broken glasses were broken, no flush, wash basin broken. Actually this property is a part of scammers group who dupe tourists visiting Tamil Nadu. Govt . should take action and shut down such places for the sake of tourism.

Nestled in a prime location, Arunachala Inn offers spacious and well-kept rooms that provide a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Just a short stroll away from the beach, temples, and vibrant shopping areas, this inn is perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in local culture. While the wide-angle photos may give an impression of larger spaces, guests will find the accommodations cozy yet clean.
Very good place. Affordable. The rooms were very clean and neat. The bathroom was also clean though a bit small. They had good cleaning service. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location was also good. Walkable distance to major places. Veg - non veg restaurant found at walkable distance. Highly recommended if coming to Kannayakumari.

The photos posted by the property are in wide angle hence the rooms looks huge but it was not that big. A/c takes 3 minutes to turn on so when you come in from scorching heat don’t expect sudden cooling which is good in a way for your body ! The staff was very supportive and shared all the information about nearby places. It’s very near to the temple but 2 kms away from sunset point. They took 500 rs deposit which will be refunded during check out if there are no damages in the room. We checked out in the midnight and staff did not complain and helped us. They have parking space around 500 mtrs away from the property but not sure about the safety.
Sudharani S — Google review
We stayed only for 1 day.. as per the rooms, their top floor rooms are neat. However, they gave us a ground floor room, next to their store room. We were very upset when we found cockroaches in our room. We requested the hotel owner to change our room. We had made a booking for four Bed bedroom, he only had a double bed bedroom available at the time. So we compromised and somehow managed in double bed bedroom. But the most disappointing thing happened the next day while checking out. We were putting our luggage in the cab, when by mistake, we forgot the mobile phone in the room. After sitting in the cab within two minutes, we realised that we have forgotten the mobile phone and immediately started dialling the phone. The phone was already turned off. We check the cameras. There was one employee who was clearly under suspicion, but no one Said anything to him on the contrary, the hotel staff was telling us only that we shouldn’t be blaming their staff, whereas it is very clear that if the phone is lost and has been turned off, then someone from the staff has only taken it and done the same. After registering the FIR, a person from the police station also came. He opened all our luggage and very thoroughly checked call luggage only. My suggestion, if you do book the room here, please be very careful of your belongings. Normally, we did not come across any dishonest People on the trip, but this was very bad experience for us.

Mahesh S — Google review
Arlinjai Paradise, Kanyakumari - Worst Experience The only positive about this place is its location, close to Sunset Point Kovalam and around 2 km from the town. However, the facility is a complete letdown. The building is four stories high with no lift, and the hotel isn't even fully constructed. When we arrived, there was only one staff member handling everything—checking bookings, confirming availability, and showing rooms. A line of frustrated guests, all facing similar issues, waited endlessly. There were numerous complaints about broken ACs, faulty fans, missing blankets, and lack of basic facilities like water. We waited nearly half an hour before our check-in, only to find the fan wasn't working, there was no water, and one of our rooms had a non-functional geyser. Worse, one room got locked with the key inside, and it took 3 hours to resolve the issue. The single staff member was trying his best, but he was clearly overwhelmed. He kept calling someone, likely the manager or owner, who didn't seem to care about the complaints, saying guests could leave negative reviews if they wanted. The cleanliness was below standard. Rooms and bathrooms were dirty, and basic amenities like towels, bedsheets, and water were only provided upon request. To make matters worse, you have to carry your own luggage to the third floor, as there is no elevator and no staff to assist. At the end of our stay, they even asked for extra money as a "token of appreciation." I think almost everything is fake review. It’s baffling how this place is even operational without sufficient staff or basic services. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

Hotel Arlinjai Paradise is conveniently located, making it easy to explore some of Kanyakumari’s top attractions. Just a short distance away, you can visit the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue, both offering breathtaking views and a sense of spiritual calm. The Kanyakumari Beach is also nearby, perfect for witnessing the famous sunrise and sunset over the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean. For those interested in history and culture, Gandhi Memorial Mandapam and the Kanyakumari Bhagavathy Amman Temple are worth a visit. Local markets around the area offer souvenirs, seashell items, and handicrafts, giving a glimpse into the local culture. Overall, staying at Hotel Arlinjai Paradise puts you in the heart of Kanyakumari’s tourist circuit, making it convenient and enjoyable
