Public parking space
Washington Park is a six-acre civic park located in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine district. It was acquired by the city in 1863 and has a rich history, including being the site of the 1888 Centennial Exposition of the Ohio Valley. The park features a playground, splash pad, dog park, and space for cultural events and performances. Renovated in 2012, it offers various amenities such as an outdoor bar, underground parking garage, and water playgrounds.
This park is awesome. So much to do on the playground for all ages. There’s a castle with slides and hiding places, large astroturf wobble board-like structures, a sandbox, and so much more. The vibes are good — friendly parents and kids, very diverse families and very clean!
Katie R — Google review
This is a nice park in the downtown. It has a play area for kids. Has musical fountain. Beautiful views of Cincinnati music hall. It’s a big park, perfect for kids. Nice walking path all around. Lot of greenery as well.
Nidhi K — Google review
It's a very nice green space with splash pad type skippers located for kids to play. They also have a play area. Cleanish free restrooms. Nice shaded areas with benches to enjoy a picnic. Nice view of the concert hall. Easy to find parking on a holiday. We saw many people doing picnics.
Namitha S — Google review
Washington Park is a lot of fun. They have something for almost everyone. If you want a drink, there is a walk-up bar. If you want some food, they have food trucks parked along the outside of the park. If you want to read a book, you can sit alongside (and even inside) the gazebo. There are water features to cook down your dog on a hot day. Maybe most importantly, the bathrooms are clean and functional. Great spot for everyone in the community and the Connector runs right by and has a stop that lets you off right at the heart of it all. Cool spot.
Derek — Google review
Truly a must see music hall, The tours cost $20 and there are inside and outside tours. I did the inside tour and it was amazing! Love the story of the history of the music hall they even played the organ for us in the ballroom at the end. Ask them to play the organ and they may do it for you.
Dan A — Google review
Wonderful urban Park with a vibrant history. The surrounding shops (including Findlay market) and restaurants make it super easy to have a picnic here. The dog park is also top notch with an amazing water feature running through it for the dogs to play and cool off in. The outdoor bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. An outdoor jungle gym and splash pad round out the offerings. With a little something for everyone, Washington Park is a real gem.
Drew H — Google review
There's nothing quite like the tranquil atmosphere—the gentle pulse of live music, a cold cocktail in hand, or simply taking in the scene as others dance. It makes for an unforgettable moment every time.
Christina S — Google review
One of my favorite parks to go to in Cincinnati. The dog park is fun for my lil Frenchie and kids love it too. They have many FREE events throughout the week. Be sure to subscribe to their email list for details.

MadTree Brewing, established in 2013, has grown to become Cincinnati's third-largest brewery. The original Kennedy Avenue taproom was replaced by the larger Madison Road facility in 2017. The taproom offers a vibrant atmosphere with wood-fired pizzas and an extensive selection of craft beers available for growler fills and keg sales. MadTree recently revamped its cans and website and joined 1% For the Planet, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability.
really loved this place. in good weather, the vibes are immaculate. great bistro food, wings were 8/10, nachos was 10/10. some great selection of beers. definitely recommend. best spot i visited in the queen city

Loved this place!! It was our 1st time there and loved the lively atmosphere and selection of craft beers, ciders and variety for anyone. We also ate a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was fresh and tasty! Highly recommend!!
Annette F — Google review
We stopped by on my way back to the hotel and they had the Ohio State game on, which is always a plus. Lots of space, indoor, outdoor, and parking around back. Good selection of craft beers, seltzers, etc. Didn't get any food but it looked good and was serving late, like open past 10pm. Live music was wrapping up by the time we got there. Cute spot to hang out.
Amy L — Google review
My first visit, I was not impressed. However, this visit was for a gender reveal party. The service was attentive and the bar tenders were nicer than last time. The food was satisfactory- the chicken tenders were burnt and dry. Of course, this isn’t a fancy restaurant. Overall, Mad Tree Brewery was fine.
Debbie R — Google review
We had such a great evening at MadTree. We were initially wondering if we needed to make a reservation since that was an option, but we decided to pop in and check it out without a reservation. It was busy, and the parking lot was full, but this place is HUGE. There was some sort of event happening as well as tons of indoor seating and, our favorite, outdoor seating. Placing the order from your table was kinda fun and then venturing to the bar to get drinks led to a nice conversation with the bartender about the beer options. We each had a flight that we enjoyed. We split the wedge salad which, while it wasn't actually a a wedge (it's chopped romaine), was delicious. And the pizza we shared was great. It was a really fun evening. My only complaint, and it's so minor, is that we tipped when we ordered our food, but I'm not sure what we actually received. We got our own drinks, gathered our own plates, utensils & napkins, and were told to bus our own table when we were done. So, I tipped 25% for someone to carry out a pizza and a salad. That seems silly. Even with that in mind, though, this is somewhere we would eat again.
Ryan S — Google review
Needed a place to stop for lunch on the way back from Tennessee to Michigan. It had to have beer (for me) and it had to have vegan options (for my daughter). This place checked off the boxes and then some. BEAUTIFUL building and outdoor space. Perhaps one of my top 3 outdoor spaces I've ever visited. Beer was fairly solid and the pizza was pretty good.
Todd J — Google review
We went into the MadTree Brewing and we were told to find a table to sit at. You need to pull up the QR code on the table to order the food. You need to walk up to the bar to order drinks. The food was ok. MadTree is more for beers and alcoholic drinks. It is a very clean and friendly place. I appreciated the sign on the wall, dogs are allowed but only outside. Thank you from someone who is allergic to dogs.
Laure S — Google review
I hosted my mom’s 70th birthday party here and it was perfect! From setting up our reservation with Bryan to the excellent service the day of our event, everything was top notch and professional! The staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back but very professional. The food was delicious! They offered a great variety of appetizers and pizzas and were very efficient at bringing everything out. I highly recommend having your event here! Thank you Bryan, Grant, and all the staff for taking such good care of us!

Dog park
Otto Armleder Dog Park in Cincinnati is a top choice for dog owners, offering a 10-acre space with separate areas for large and small dogs. The park features amenities like dog showers, drinking fountains, and shaded areas with benches. It's a popular spot for dogs to socialize and get some exercise. Additionally, the park has well-maintained playgrounds and scenic paved trails suitable for biking or running along the Little Miami River.
Great dog park. Well kept and clean area, multiple paddocks, one is specifically for small breed dogs 22lbs or less. Many well established trees that will bring good shade in the coming months. Water is available from a small fountain for dogs, it is working as of today. There are portable toilets available for humans to use nearby. Benches inside play area, as well as bags for cleaning up after your dog. There is a trail nearby but we didn’t have time to check it out today but it looks like it’s paved.
Grizzly F — Google review
Spacious and awesome place to play! Lots of room and multiple fenced areas for different energy levels and temperaments. Love that there is water available to wash and give the pups a drink. Plenty of walking paths also. Very cool to see the planes flying by since it's near the airport. Highly recommend!
Candice T — Google review
We move around quite a bit and this is the nicest dog park we've been to yet! HUGE spaces for the dogs to play in and the owners are all really friendly. I haven't personally had any issues with any dogs there either, but my dog just kind of does her own thing. There is water available, hoses, etc. There are 3 main fenced areas, with the smaller dogs in the middle of two massive play areas for the larger dogs. Across from the parking lot, there is a play pen area, which is also sizable and usually empty. Definitely recommend :)
Mica W — Google review
Great dog park. Seperate fenced in areas for different size dogs. Fresh drinking water access. Moved in town from a home that had lots of open land and this dog park has ample room for our pups.
Andrew Q — Google review
Nice big park. 2 large sections. One medium across the path and 1 small in between the two large. The people are respectful. The park is usually kept clean. My dog loves it here.
Desarae — Google review
Nice city park with lots of walking trails.
Dan G — Google review
love the changing seasons of this park - the fields and birds are fantastic... the maintainence of indigenous pollinator and wildlife promoting vegetation is really. The standard poodles love the dog park too.
The S — Google review
It's huge, two sections are probably 3-4 acres each, with a smaller section for small dogs in the middle. Water fountains for the pups are in all three sections, as well as in the fence "airlock" entryway. There's a separate fenced in dog park area across the street from the main dog park as well. Some scattered benches for people to sit inside the fenced areas, good dog park.

Queen City Radio is a trendy bar located in Cincinnati's Historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, housed in a renovated 1920s gas and car service station. The spacious indoor-outdoor bar exudes an industrial vibe with its original garage bay doors and urban backdrop of tall buildings. It offers a variety of events such as karaoke and live music, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
Great bar to visit before or after an FC Cincinnati game. They have several different beers on draft, and prices are competitive. For food, there is a German food truck parked in the patio area that is excellent! Only a block away from Washington Park.
Tamara G — Google review
The bar service was excellent, great options for beer and our Coldbrew Old Fashioned was the perfect brunch start. We tried the pretzel covered in Gruyère, speck, and crème friache was like something we could order in the Italian Alps. Perfect Sunday vibes with the dog.
Adam P — Google review
Plenty of seating, staff/bartender was super nice and recommended us places to go eat (we were visiting Cincy for the first time). I liked that they are dog friendly both "indoors" and outdoors 👌!
Lissa M — Google review
Cool place to hang before an event. It gets super busy so get there early or be prepared to stand on any game day. Pretzel is awesome!!! For a fun time hanging with people who love their sports I highly recommend!
Sherry M — Google review
Great atmosphere for a pre-FCC game meet up. Lots of seating, good drink options, and the food truck is AWESOME! This is a "self-serve" situation and the drink line is separate from the food line.
Joy D — Google review
Fun time playing pool, drinking a delicious cider beer and hanging with friends. Great place to chill and hang with friends, even when it's raining. Food trucks available on site to go with drinks served at the bar.
Danielle F — Google review
We went to the Cincinnati Boos and Booze tour and got drinks here. The selection of beverages was good. The boozy slushees were good. The German food truck offers some of the best soft pretzels I’ve had.
Sildanani — Google review
We went for a beer before the FC game and the place was hopping. They had a food truck going, a couple different bar setups. The staff including security were really friendly even when they were so busy. A great place to pregame and lots of fellow FC fans to generate a great atmosphere before a game. We will be back!

Findlay Market is a vibrant and historic destination in Cincinnati, renowned for its diverse array of vendors offering everything from fresh produce to unique ethnic delicacies. As Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, it boasts over 50 stalls that showcase the region's culinary heritage.
A historic market that has transformed from a weekend farmer’s gathering into a lively indoor marketplace. Lots of variety, from fresh produce to unique shops — even found a handmade wonton spot. Worth a visit if you’re in Cincinnati.
Jacques L — Google review
This place has meats, desserts, produce and even live plants. I recommend going early to avoid the crowd. It seemed to have a very nice traffic flow. It is indoor and outdoor. I hear the bars are very nice as well.
Elijah L — Google review
Findlay Market is truly one of the must-see places in Cincinnati. It perfectly captures the city’s history, culture, and community spirit all in one spot. The moment you walk in, you can feel the charm of the past blending with the energy of today — the old brick buildings, colorful vendor stands, fresh food aromas, and friendly local buzz create an amazing atmosphere. This isn’t just a market — it’s an experience. You’ll find everything from fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, and baked goods to flowers, coffee, and handmade crafts. The outdoor stalls and street musicians make it even more lively, especially on weekends when the place comes to life with music, food, and smiling faces. What I love most is that it supports local farmers and small businesses. Every vendor here seems genuinely passionate about what they do, and the quality of products really stands out. Prices are fair, and everything feels authentic and full of character. There are also plenty of cozy cafés and restaurants nearby, making it easy to relax with a coffee after exploring. Parking can get a bit crowded at peak times, but arriving early makes everything smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, Findlay Market is a beautiful mix of history, local flavor, and community warmth. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Cincinnati, this place is absolutely worth the stop! 🌿🧺

adorable and historical! one of my favorite spots to visit in cincy. such a variety of great food, the investment into local food and access in connecting vendors to the community is really amazing to see. if you have the means to do so, why not shop local? i haven’t gotten to try everything yet, but i love blue oven bakery every time. their focaccia is lovely!
Grace L — Google review
Well if you are a foodie and in Cincinnati then it’s a MUST STOP😊🥟🤷‍♂️😉 the people are gentle and kind, music is abound on weekends and definitely stay awhile. Stay hungry my friends!
Rex M — Google review
This place is incredible! They have so much variety and so many different vendors to shop at! My husband and I went on a Saturday morning and it was packed full but the lines went pretty quick. We only had to wait in a few lines for 5 minutes max. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Bryanna M — Google review
Favorite thing to do in downtown cincinnati. I love how there’s fresh produce and meat. Make sure you park close or in Findlay market parking. OTR is not the safest area. We loved our sandwiches for lunch. Water is only free at the bar, everywhere else is 50 cents. I love all the stores, including a vintage clothing store. Such a fun place in Cincy

It offers diverse hiking and horseback riding trails suitable for all skill levels, as well as mountain biking trails for adventure seekers. The park features a unique treehouse that is wheelchair accessible, a dog park for furry friends to roam freely, and even a disc golf course for enthusiasts.
Mt. Airy forest is by far one of the best parks in the area for walking, hiking, and biking. A vast selection of trails that you could spend an entire day exploring and still not find all of it. Beautiful views, scenery, and well kept trails. The spring and autumn are especially gorgeous at this park and spending a day at the lake is amazing

This is a super fun forest, I enjoy hiking along the creek, and my friend found a rock shaped like Ohio! There's also some tunnels you can hike through! 10/10 would recommend for a great time!

Very good getaway place from city life or for picnic especially for family. 1. Parks offers trails which are not too great but decent and enjoyable with family and friends. But not for long distance hiking. They are short but beautiful with greenery. 2. There is small river but it dried up when I went. But it would have been beautiful if there is water. 3. There is tree house, which is interesting but was closed when we went for maintenance. But signs shows it would open for spring. 4. There are restrooms and surprised well maintained. 5. There are picnic areas with shelter and parks for kids. Lots of open space for fun. 6. Good parking lot space and free. 7. No Entrance fee, absolutely free. 8. We saw wedding happening in the park, so can book for wedding too. Congrats to new couple and it was beautiful. They are lovely together and I liked they did tied knot in the beautiful nature.

I am from California and was just visiting for a few days. I was looking for something to do with my kids. This place is really nice I wish I had more time to hike the trails more. I recommend this place to anyone it has trails, frizbee golf, play ground and a small pond nice place to take pictures.
C L — Google review
First time coming and I came mainly for the tree house which was closed. We were recommended here by my husband coworker.
Emma G — Google review
Great hiking trails. We took our son and his friend for an afternoon hike. It was very nice. It wasn't crowded. The trails are slightly challenging, but something a novice can handle.
Russell H — Google review
I really like this park. It of course gets pretty busy sometimes but there are a few different areas depending on what you are going for. We have had 2 baby showers here at the shelter twords the bottom of the park where it circles around. There are some nice trails and a big tree house that the kids always think it's pretty neat. We didn't maternity pics around there for my daughter when she was pregnant with her first and they turned out beautifully. We haven't went to the play area because it is usually pretty packed there a lot of times but there is a play area across from where the tree house is and there is another side where you can grill or walk around. There is frisbee toss on that side as well

My favorite brewery. I’ve been a regular for almost four years. The staff is friendly, management truly cares for their people. And they have great taste in terms of their different seasonal beers! Always something new to try!

Great selection of beers n ciders. Got 2 flights and most were pretty good. Couple were not what I expected, but were ok. Not a real big place, but we found seats by the window. Didn't try any food. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking was a nightmare as their lot is tight, holds water after a rain, and street pkg was roped off for construction.
ET B — Google review
Absolutely one of the best breweries in the city! I love this place. They make some traditional beer exceptionally well. The staff is nice and the beer is great. And now that they have catch a fire and get great pizza too.
Joe K — Google review
Nice place, very busy, lots of beer choices and ciders too - canned wine. There is a Catch a Fire Pizza restaurant in there too.
Ed M — Google review
Amazing small batch brewery. All brewed on site. We are critical home brewers. I sampled 3 flights of 4, 12 total. All great. It is a big venue, bigger than it seems from the outside. There is some parking on site, more parking across the street. Do not carry a beer down the sidewalk, it is clearly marked. We really enjoyed it.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place with great food and even better beer. Great place to be with friends. The staff was very friendly and very personable. One of the bartenders, Jason, went the extra mile to make sure me and my buddies were satisfied. Great place! We will be back!

Rented space for a retirement party and could not have been happier with the whole experience. From booking to catering (via Catch-A-Fire Pizza) to the night of the event, it was easy, and the people were great to work with. Catch-A-Fire does way more than pizzas! Having a variety of beverages available made it easy for guests to find something they liked. Would highly recommend West Side Brewing for any casual party.

Great place finally got to check out this local brewery. All the beers were great and concerts going on across the street made the night awesome. Glad I didn’t bring my kids tho because it seemed likethe staff was very annoyed by children

Big Ash Brewing is a unique brewery located in Anderson Township, founded by a group of home brewing friends. The brewery offers 28 taps of craft beer, along with wine, spirits, and build-your-own craft pizza. It's known for its self-serve tap selection where visitors can sample a wide variety of craft beers. In addition to beer, they also serve salads, cocktails, and signature pizzas.
There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful location this was for my brothers celebration of life event. From the thoughtfulness of the staff, to the amazing food, to the flow of the event… it truly could not have been a better choice - even at such late notice when we booked it. If you have any event large or small, this is THE location you need to choose. Bonus? It was very affordable, and we had over 250+ people attend over the course of 3 hours. 5 stars - I’d give more if I could!!

My wife's workplace held an after work get together, here. I-75 South was like a parking lot so I took the streets, zig-zagging through Mt. Lookout and riding over the levee to get there. Turns out that was actually the most direct route. The venue is large, open and airy, with plenty of room to accommodate multiple parties. There is also a sizable outdoor area available during warmer weather. I didn't see an actual menu, but food was served for the company party, and it was all good. The offerings included fresh salad, sliders with ham or turkey and cheese, multiple types of pizza, and fruit and veggies trays. The one thing about Big Ash that impressed me the most was their drink vending machine. They scan your credit card and link it to one of their in house cards that you use to to select and pay for drinks as they are dispensed. Cost depends on listed price per ounce and the actual volume you dispense. At the end of the night you can cash out or simply drop the card in a designated box. A 20% gratuity will be added automatically if you use the Dropbox. Definitely a great idea as it allows you to sample as many beers and wines as you desire, plus it alleviates lines at the bar. The place is clean and modern, and the staff is great. I had the opportunity to interact with Eric; he is a fantastic representative of the venue!

An excellent Sunday afternoon experience on their outdoor patio with our dog... You order your own food on a kiosk but it's user friendly and the staff is willing to help if you need it. Jessica was top notch and checked on us periodically to see if everything was okay. All our food was very tasty. Italian hoagies, pizza and pretzel bites with beer cheese and excellent Bloody Marys. Highly recommend!!

If you haven’t tried Big Ash Brewing on the east side I’d highly recommend it. I’ve been there a couple times now and have always had great experiences. The food is solid, a lot of good options. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Their pizzas are personal flatbread types and a really tasty. They have several crust options. Lots of good bar food type offerings. Even good salads. It’s a brewery so there is beer! They have some solid offerings. And best of all is the pour system. You get a card and then pour your own beer. You’re charged by the oz, so if you want to try all of them you can do small glasses.
Joel C — Google review
It’s an interesting idea. You serve yourself. You have to get your own glass and pour your own drink. You have to order your own food on a kiosk and then pick it up. You have to get your own plates and napkins and silverware and take it back to your table. I don’t mind all this. I do mind that they added a 15% gratuity (without telling me) on the bill at the end of the night. No one served me. There’s no one to tip. This is flat out wrong.
Terri M — Google review
It was a decent experience, they work on a tab system and you get a card that you use to self pour beer (pay by the ounce), and order food from a kiosk style system. They also look to have an extensive bar you can order from. My pager didn't go off when my food was done, I had to ask someone about it. The food did taste alright and the beer was ok, though I'm not really big on the taste of beer. The staff was really nice and will teach you their system if you've never been there before.
James J — Google review
Awesome concept, has a self pour station. When you walk in you go to the front and link a card to the access card they supply and then help yourself to either a pint or a flight. All of the beers have a touchscreen with detailed info about each beer on tap, after making your selection, insert the card and pour the amount you wish, which is metered by the ounce. On the other side of the wall there is another area for food ordering, with a similar setup, make selections, scan card, and grab a pager. Once the food is ready, the pager goes off and you can go grab from a pickup window. Beer was great, and the food was pretty good as well. Prior to leaving, see the cashier, turn in the card and pay the balance owed. Pretty neat experience and worth a stop.

Otto Armleder Memorial Park, located near the Little Miami Scenic River in Cincinnati, is a vast 238-acre area offering a variety of outdoor activities. Managed by the Cincinnati Park Board and other organizations, it features hiking and biking trails, sports fields, picnic areas, playgrounds, and a 10-acre dog park with separate spaces for small and large breed dogs. The park's expansive trails include a 10-mile route connecting to Lunken Airport.
I really like coming here on my lunch break at work. It's very clean, there's always a ton of spots to park, and it's a nice quiet spot on the river

One of the best dog parks. huge, free entry, small dog area included. Only downside is some owners are trash, and are okay with their dogs being aggressive. OR small dog owners that flip out when they take their little rat to the big dog sides and the big dogs push them around. But that’s not a fault for the park. One of if not the best dog park in cincy.
David G — Google review
Best dog park I’ve been to in Cincinnati. Three sections: two big dog areas and one small dog area. The big dog areas are huge and the dogs have almost always been friendly. Plenty of tree shade. Walking trail in the area as well There is also a 4th fenced in dog area across the street.

Great park to walk around. I'll come here on lunch break and roam around. Right by the Little Miami River, so it's cool to see the running water.

As of January 3rd 2021, the river has risen. The park isn't flooded, but it is saturated from rain. The trail from Otto Armleder to Lunken Airport is flooded. The park is muddy from the rain. That didn't stop anyone from walking the pace trail or the trail by the river. It didn't stop dogs and their owners from visiting the dog parks. It's a very lovely park with a paved trail wide enough for social distancing.

Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, 16-Bit Bar+Arcade is a popular spot that combines a bar with old school arcade cabinets and video game consoles. It's known for attracting a hip crowd in a trendy neighborhood. With its larger collection of games and hip geek chic nostalgia theme, it stands out as one of the city's top barcades. The venue allows pets indoors during the day, offering an entertaining and relaxed experience for dog owners to socialize while enjoying food or drinks.
This is a must visit for anyone. They had a vast array of classic arcade games they will take you back in time. These games were free to play. They also have a good variety of pinball games which cost only a dollar. It had several floors at this location all with different activities, along with a bar on each level. Make time to visit!?

They don't serve food here but you're welcome to bring food in and eat it there. There are four levels but there is am elevator. This place was amazing! The arcade games are all free. You do have to pay for the pinball machines and duckpin bowling, which is so fun! We had such a good time on our trip that we came back the next day!

4 stories of awesomeness! It was so nice to finally find an arcade bar in the US, I've only come across them in Canada. I loved that my son's were sort of able to experience what it was like being in an arcade in the 90's.

The listing is confusing until you get there and realize it's the greatest thing invented. This is the listing for Mechanical Pin Company. Over the Rhine barcade with duck pin bowling, 🐕dog-friendly, plenty of (mainly Stern) pinball--very well maintained and friendly staff. It's worth the paid street parking. Five floors of stuff better than any casino.

We love this place! Every time family comes in from out of town, we make a quick stop. Enjoyable for all the ages! There's a rooftop bar, and 3 other floors with arcade games and a ping pong table (and bars). The bowling part doesn't really even last all that long, so it's perfect for those of us that get bored pretty quick. The drinks are good, there's always a new cocktail being advertised. Service has been good as well. Facilities are clean. I don't believe there is any food, but if I remember correctly, outside food is allowed (but maybe not drinks?).

Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa Cincinnati is a members-only off-leash park in Madisonville, offering three acres of natural grass, a water fountain, waste stations, and walking paths. The resort provides thorough care for boarded dogs and ensures their safety by communicating with veterinarians. Customers appreciate the well-trained staff and various programs tailored to each dog's needs. Additionally, the grooming services have received praise for consistently delivering beautiful results for pets.
I take my dog, Dallas, to Red Dog for doggy daycare and boarding when I go out of town. He absolutely loves going here. He gets super excited when we pull up and is always ready for a fun day. The staff is amazing and cares for him like he is their dog. I never worry about him when he stays here. I highly recommend Red Dog for daycare and boarding needs. They are the best!

My daughters good boy has day care and my daughter kennels him when she is on vacation. My daughter went on a week vacation. Her pup was fine and healthy. The resort called my daughter and told her that her pup was coughing so my husband was trying to help, picked her pup up and took him to the vet. The vet saw no signs of coughing or sickness. The resort stated to my husband that they would keep the pup isolated and charge my daughter $14.00 more per day. Totally fine and understandable. This morning my husband received 3 threatening voice mails from regional manager Shanon. Mind you he works evenings. He finally received another call from Shannon. Threatening to charge $1000 per day yelling at him over the phone. This pup has a clean bill of health and all up to date with vaccines. What on earth do they do if you do not have someone in the area to help when the parent is out of town. Truly the behavior and treatment toward my husband from Shanon which was harassment and unexceptionable. This resort is beautiful but no reason to act incredibly inappropriate to someone that is trying to help.

The staff at Red Dog are amazing with our 2 boys. We have used Red Dog for daycare, swimming, boarding and are regulars at the dog park. Cash & Gary love Red Dog! 💓🐕
Cassandra S — Google review
I cannot recommend Red Dog Pet Resort after the horrifying experience our family went through. When boarding our dog here, they actually gave us the wrong dog to take home. We didn’t even realize at first because it was another golden retriever, but once we discovered the mistake, the situation became a nightmare. Our dog could have been lost or seriously harmed, and the other family’s dog was put at great risk as well. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of accountability. Despite reaching out multiple times, no one from Red Dog corporate has responded to our concerns or offered any explanation. Our daughters were traumatized, our family was devastated, and we’re left with no confidence that this facility cares about the safety or well-being of the animals entrusted to them. We are beyond disappointed and deeply shaken by this experience. Boarding your dog here is simply not worth the risk.
Jackie C — Google review
Red Dog is simple to work with and straight forward. They care for my 🐶 dog as I can tell by the way everyone knows her when she walks in the door. I also like that I can view the room she plays in on camera. I like Red Dog a lot!
Sibley B — Google review
Not gonna lie, it took a little over a month to get a temperament test done but it was worth the wait. I see why it takes so long. This is probably the most luxurious daycare I've ever been to and I've been to A LOT considering I travel for work across the states. You're greeted with a warm welcome, staff is phenomenal. After the test was done (passed -natrually) you're given a small care package; a bag, pen, doggie bags and deals printed on paper with a report card. Love a daycare that smells clean and is kept clean! When I walk into a daycare and it has an awful smell, makes me wonder how well they're cleaning which then leads to, how well they're taking care of your furbaby so I really try to avoid that. Sometimes with location, I can't unfortunately but I'm learning my ways. They had a special running for daycare which was a deal you could not beat. There's a pool! First time I've ever seen that. I probably won't utilize it but it's there if I do. I love that its 24/7 staffed because I work nights at the moment. I haven't booked her for nights yet, just during the day so I can sleep but she has come back either pooped or not ready to leave. So glad I was told about this place. A lady at the dog park told me about it. I was taking her to Camp Bow Wow. This location vs Bow Wow saves me like 10mins of a drive! So it's a bit closer. Would absolutely recommend.

Red Dog has taken care of my dog for the past 4 years. She is well loved! I would like to give a shout-out to Jerica and Julia who welcome me every morning with a smile. They are engaging-asking about my day, helping me with my dog when I am too sick to come in and making me feel taken care of as well. I highly recommend Red Dog of Cincinnati.

Simmonds Family Dog Park is a sprawling 11-acre off-leash park with four separate fields, making it one of the best parks for dogs. The grounds are well-maintained and feature water fountains for dogs, shaded areas, and canine agility equipment. Large and small dogs have their own designated areas, with separate water fountains and shaded spots for owners to relax. The park's spacious layout allows ample room for dogs to play freely.
My dogs had a BLAST!! Each section has a watering fountain and spots sectioned off for different size dogs. We had ours explore the gravel section to get calm before going into the grass with other dogs, which really did the trick! Even the gravel area was more than enough for our three large breeds to roam and run safely. We will definitely return!
Marie D — Google review
This is hands down the best dog park in the area. I would give it 5 stars except there’s dog poop everywhere especially in the gravel area, which looks like a giant litter box for dogs. But other than that it’s a large open dog park and there’s a few areas to choose from which is nice!
Shannon H — Google review
This is the best dog park I've found. We keep trying others but always come back because we haven't found anything that even comes close. There is a small dog area and 2 large dog areas that are used on a rotating basis. They also have a separate agility area. Each area has it's own water fountain for the dogs and a shaded area for the owners to sit. The grounds are well maintained and people are friendly. It is part of Hamilton County Park District so there is the possibility of needing to purchase a daily or annual pass to enter the park but I rarely ever see anyone checking.

Built in 2003 to replace Cinergy Field, it boasts unique architectural features like the Power Stacks and baseball-themed mosaics.
I went here for the first time last week and it is an impressive ballpark. There are 2 scoreboards that show different information. There are a wide variety of food and drink selections. Tons of fan interactions and dun animations on the scoreboards. We also got to watch Train performer after the game which was awesome. One thing I did notice that is different from Progressive Field (my home stadium) is that they do not have any drink or food vendors going up and down the sections. Also ut seemed like every time I went to the restroom, there were stalls that ran put of toilet paper.

We attended a Reds/Phillies game while visiting Cincinnati from Delaware. The Great American Ballpark is a nice park. Located in downtown Cincinnati, we had a pretty easy time getting in. The park itself was relatively empty for this particular game. Not sure if that's normal or not. The food and beer options were very limited for an MLB ballpark. The sightlines of the stadium were nice though. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.

What sets it apart is its active lifestyle offerings, including sand volleyball, running, cycling, canoeing, and kayaking programs along the Little Miami Scenic Trail and Little Miami River. The brewery also hosts unique events like Punch Out, an annual brewery-on-brewery boxing tournament.
We were trying out mariemont for the first time for a date night, just getting to know the area and we came across fifty west. The atmosphere instantly caught our attention and now we’re hooked. The better secluded outdoor seating was a big appeal while you can enjoy watching pickle ball or sand volleyball games or your kids can play in the sand play area. There’s also tables in a big sand area so even more fun while you eat. Everything was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helped right away. The decorations, lighting, and music are big reasons to come again and again. But the food was fantastic while being very reasonably priced. Definitely a must do if you’re in the area.

Great place to bring the kids! The burgers are good as well, but the atmosphere is what brings me and my family back. Grass truf seating area with sand volleyball courts, a racket ball court, sand pit for the children, and an area where you can play corn hole or just toss a football! I would recommend everyone to come and try out their food, beer, desserts, and the atmosphere! I love it energy and the vibe of the place! One of the more comfortable vibe spots in the Cincinnati area! Job well done!

We booked two cabanas at Fifty West for a Friday night rehearsal dinner. As expected, the place was buzzing, it's clearly a popular spot on a nice evening, and on this particular night, there was also a graduation party happening. Between the regular crowd and the event, parking in the main lot was a challenge. Fortunately, there is additional parking available across the street, which helped ease the situation. The venue itself is a great setting for a casual gathering. There are plenty of picnic tables, sand volleyball courts, pickleball courts, and a turf area for kids to run around or for guests to relax. It's a fun, energetic environment that works well for groups. Our group started to arrive a bit later than our reserved time, but we were surprised to find people already sitting and dining in our cabanas. Since these had been pre-booked and prepped for our party, it was inconvenient to ask the group to leave and then find a staff member to come over and wipe down the tables. While we recognize that we were running a little behind, we expected the cabanas to be monitored and held for our reservation. A staff member should have been assigned to oversee the area and ensure it remained ready for us. On a more positive note, the food was great and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived. The drinks were also solid, and we especially loved the variety of shakes! The staff was very accommodating when it came to packing up leftovers, providing takeout containers for all the extras without hesitation, which we really appreciated. Despite the small hiccup with the cabana seating, the evening was a success overall. With a bit more attention to managing reserved spaces, it would've been flawless. We'd definitely consider coming back for another group event or a casual night out.

Lots of parking but very busy on a Saturday afternoon so the overflow parking is across the street. All free. The brewery is a brewery, diner turned outdoor brewery space. They have an inside dining area, covered outdoor patio, volleyball and tennis courts, as well as event spaces to rent that are outside and covered. Sand everywhere - the kids seem to really enjoy it! We met some friends on a rainy Saturday with the dogs (it’s dog friendly) and sat in the covered patio area. You walk up to an outdoor window to order (beer or food - a separate window for food /bar for beer). They’ll text you when your food is ready at the pick up window. Good hand held options with a load of “styles” to choose from - pick your protein on your “burger” and pick a “style” to dress it up. The shareable loaded fries and pretzels were delicious! Beer options are numerous with a few more cocktail like options too.

Best food ever from a brown paper bag! You can’t go wrong with a group of friends especially if they had kids in tow. Service is #1 priority here, food and fun rounds out the list. Take a little drive and enjoy some excellent wings, fat burgers, crinkle cut fries and some cold brew😁

This place is self-service. You order the food and drink then find a table to sit, indoor or outdoor. They will send a text message when the order is ready, and we gotta pick it up. Also, they need to update the "rootbeer" sign outside since they stopped making their own rootbeer a while ago.

Staff was great. Food and prices were good. Don’t come expecting to play sand volleyball though. We stopped in on a Monday evening after being in town for my daughter’s volleyball game. Her and 2 friends were so excited for the sand volleyball courts! Unfortunately they were filled up with league teams that would not let a few teens join in. Since there were at least 4 courts It would be nice if one or 2 of those were left available/open for pick-up games and families stopping in to eat. For this reason we won’t be back.

Darkness Brewing, located in Bellevue, Kentucky, offers a sci-fi themed space with around ten different brews on tap including IPAs, ales, and stouts. Known for its unique and unusual beer selection such as Toastonut Coconut Cascade Dark Ale and Stonebreaker Porter, this brewery is popular among craft beer enthusiasts who enjoy porters and stouts. While specializing in dark and odd artisan beers, Darkness Brewing also provides lighter options for those seeking something different.
Welcoming bartender! Not only were her suggestions spot on! But the beer was PERFECT. We found the smoked hefewizen.... rauchweizen, amazing!! Paired with a burger, sandwhich, fries and delicious onion rings. Stop in, you'll be so happy you did! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!

Mayan Sacrifice has been my husbands favorite beer for a while now, and when we found out it was only a short drive away we had to go! Small, cozy, and great atmosphere. There was a costume party (I think) in the stage area, an artist painting in the main area, and a food truck in the outdoor seating area. It was hard to pick a place to sit! The service was great, very nice staff, very helpful with picking a selection of drinks to a picky drinker. The food was amazing, the best onion rings I’ve ever had and I can only say that once and I say that with confidence. I was surprised when I saw it was a red onion in there. Drink selection is good for any type of beer drinker, I loved Marigold and Han Rolo and of course Mayan Sacrifice. Will definitely go back again, love the historic area and small inviting feel of the whole area.

Cool little place with big beer. Lots of different styles, not just a bunch of hazy ipas. Food options as well, this is a must when visiting Northern KY.

Quirky brewery with a unique vibe. The beer selection was stout heavy while I personally prefer lagers. The Ike Ike Baby was worth a try, though! They do offer food and have plenty of seating inside and on the patio. Parking is on the street and, depending on the time, can be a little challenging.

French Park, situated in Amberley Village, is a charming 275-acre public park with a rich history. The park features an early 1900s mansion that serves as a venue for various events. It offers picturesque woods, meadows, and trails for visitors to explore. One of the main draws for photographers is the expansive wildflower field that blooms from spring to early fall, along with the striking evergreen trees that provide an ideal backdrop for outdoor photoshoots.
My family loved visiting French Park. Spacious grounds and plenty of picnic tables. We liked hiking the trail that followed the creek. Lots of wildflowers and a variety of birds. We even saw a pileated woodpecker! The trail is secluded and quiet. I highly recommend a visit!

I live down south but when I come back home to Cincinnati, my cousin and I celebrate with family gatherings here it’s been that way our whole lives would like to catch the crawdads in the creek. There’s grills there’s tables there’s trees. There’s a beautiful view. It’s a mixed crowd and we love it.

This luxury all-suite extended-stay property is located on the east side of downtown and is close to many restaurants and attractions. It is an all-suite hotel with a restaurant, bar, and 24-hour gym. The Residence Inn also offers free breakfast.
I've been in a lot of hotels over the years and i would say this in in my top 3 of all I've ever stayed in. i was not expecting such nice accommodations, i stepped into my room and was blown away with the room. i felt like i needed to stay longer to truly enjoy what this room had to offer. Breakfast was also top notch, plenty of options. Staff was great as well, i arrived very late at night having not eaten that day and was greeted with smiles and offered tons of options for me to get a bite. I took the suggestion to a local restaurant "Hooligans-Pub" and did not disappoint! Try the Hooligans Banana Peppers!!! Location was perfect as well, and the view from my room was so cool! if you say you must go to the roof top and enjoy the view and have something to eat at their roof top bar and kitchen!!! I don't know if i will ever have an opportunity to be in that area again but if i do, i will be staying here and be bringing my family for a top-notch experience.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a comedy show, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the location was fantastic, making it convenient to get to the venue. However, the room itself showed significant signs of wear and tear, which was a bit disappointing given the hotel's reputation. One of the major issues we encountered was with valet parking. Upon checking in, we were informed that we wouldn’t have access to the valet service, despite being registered guests. This confusion was quite frustrating, but I reached out to the front desk, and thankfully, they were able to resolve the valet parking issue quickly. During our stay, there was also a wedding taking place at the hotel, which created a lively atmosphere, although it did lead to some complications. I was surprised to find that I had to pay $70 for a double shot of alcohol at the bar, particularly since I had purchased the same shot just a few hours earlier for only $35. This difference was crazy and left me feeling a bit taken advantage of. The bartender seemed somewhat indifferent to the chaos around him, which didn’t help the situation either. Overall, while the location and event were enjoyable, the inconsistencies in service and pricing were definitely drawbacks that affected my stay.

I originally made a reservation with family for a couple nights for a Reds game. They had me at the beautiful view from the rooftop bar. Due to an impending death in the family, I had to add separate additional reservations, since we didn’t know exactly when the death would occur. The front desk staff was very understanding and helpful through the complicated reservations, and they kindly figured out a way to keep us in the same room for 5 days. This included Karen, Shower, Seth, and others. Bradd and Peyton could not have been more helpful with luggage, valet parking, and general kindness in many ways. I didn’t go down for breakfast much over the course of our stay, but my husband said the food was great, and he was impressed with Johanna, Latasha, and he loved Angie, the chef. Sammie at the rooftop bar was another example of the excellent service we received in every aspect of this hotel. Not only the rooftop view, but the view of the two P&G towers from the courtyard outside the dining room was also quite nice. I told my husband that — if I ever had to live in a hotel, this is the one I would want to live in.

This was fine for our 2 night stay in Cincinnati. We were in town for the Bengals open practice. We were easily able to walk to the stadium as well as over the purple people bridge into Newport. It was about a 20 minute to both places. The rooms were clean. They certainly could use a good deep cleaning, but I have pretty high standards for clean and they were pretty good. Check in and check out was extremely easy and quick. There was some miscommunication about a rollaway bed, but it was rectified quick. Breakfast was wonderful. We did not use the Valet service and were still easily able to unload and load our luggage quick and find parking. Beds are more on the firmer side and the pillows are very thin but soft. Staff was friendly. Overall we had a great weekend!
Jessica — Google review
Great location for the Paycor and GABP stadiums and lots of restaurants. But the room is run down, stained, and not cleaned well. We called three times for different towels bc each time they were gross or had holes . Nearly every spot you put your hands (door handles, curtains, light switches, chairs) had nasty stains. They offered to switch rooms, but that one was just as dirty. For this price, it shouldn’t be this gross. Next time we’ll try an Airbnb

This beautiful hotel is situated in a great location. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. My only suggestion is that the windows appear frail. I’m sure they’re stronger than they look, but this made me a bit anxious during my trip because my toddler likes to climb on things. I moved all objects away so he couldn’t try to climb to the window. I would appreciate it if the building would consider updating the windows to be more reinforced.

Stayed with the family for a week. The service was absolutely fantastic!! Not a bad thing to say about the service. We had the one bedroom suite. The pictures online don’t do it justice. The kitchen was an added bonus. The room was large and very clean. The amenities (breakfast, gym, restaurant, rooftop bar) were exceptional. A definite recommendation. Close to everything downtown Cincinnati. And you must check out the rooftop bar. Check out the photos!

Braxton Brewing Company, situated in Covington, Kentucky, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, is a well-known brewery in Northern Kentucky. The brewery boasts a 5,000-square-foot rooftop bar with abundant seating and an open lawn area for relaxation. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Covington and Downtown Cincinnati while sipping on over 20 beers on tap or indulging in the impressive cocktail selection.

Apologies that the food is half eaten by the time I took the pictures, I was ravenous. I had very low expectations for the food, since this is a brewery. After ordering a delicious garage beer lager, I decided to give it a shot. The beer cheese with garlic bread bites was shockingly good. One of the best beer cheeses I have had. I decided to go for fried chicken tenders instead of wings only because I wanted the most food I could get. They were really well done! The fried batter was super solid and the chicken was juicy and fresh. I went with the sriracha honey and smoked ranch for my sauces, and they blew me away as well. I'll definitely be back for more!

Wecwent to check out 3 Points on one of their Pop-Up Wednesdays when all beers were $2 from 5-7pm. It's a beautiful space. Thet have really goods. We tried Real Quiet Oat Pale Ale, Shoal Cincy Stout, Sinking Ocra Oatmeal Stout and Magic Wand Kettle Sour. All great beers. They also have cocktails on draft. When we were at 3-Point, they had an old-fashioned and spiny margarita on tap. They deal they have worked out with CHX and Nation is cool too. We ordered a 4-piece chicken banty with curly fries from the bar. And picked it up next door at CHX, it was awesome! Nation will deliver burgers to 3-point. Great place. It makes us wish we would have moved to Pendleton. We can't wait to come vack for the next pop-up Wednesday!

For starters, I first experienced Braxton’s original location in Covington, Kentucky about five years ago. Great coffee ☕️, great beer 🍺, great service, great location...you get the idea. Fast forward to March 17, 2021 (one year and one day after complete pandemic shutdown), although things look and feel a lot different, with a new location in the Pendleton / Over The Rhine district, Braxton still delivers! I had placed an order over the phone for pick up on that day. Since I had to pay to park, I figured I would enjoy a beer while I was there. I could have been there all night if it wasn’t for the fact I was going to Tennessee, and my hotel was in Lexington, Kentucky that night. I was first greeted by Thomas who started serving me, then Philip came over and asked if I was Rick, introducing himself, putting a name to a face of the person who took my phone order. Last, but definitely not least, arrived Andy, who ended up helping me the rest of my visit. All of these guys were great. I received some of the best hospitality and service I have ever experienced anywhere! I definitely look forward to coming back in a year or two (I try to get to Cincinnati once a year), as I am from out of state. Andy asked me to spread the word, when I already had this review in mind. Excellent job guys! I can’t wait to spend a little (ok, a lot!) more time there on my next trip. Take care, Rick.

Rosedale in Over the Rhine is a popular rustic-chic watering hole known for its pizza and lively heated courtyard with bocce ball courts. It prides itself on being the neighborhood bar, aiming to create a welcoming space where people can enjoy good food and drinks together. The indoor lounge and outdoor patio offer various seating options, making it suitable for solo visits or group gatherings.
I enjoyed some drinks here with friends during a bar crawl downtown. They had a decent variety, and the staff was quick and professional. The outdoor space was open and pleasant. The indoor space had a nice fireplace and was quite cozy. I was happy with my experience.

Love this place! I’m a local, and Dale is our go to for a casual drink. All the bartenders are great! Dylan served us today, and he’s nothing short of a treat—always banters and jokes around with us while providing excellent service! Whenever people come into town to visit, I always take them here for a few drinks. The best patio in OTR, and the brick and old wood interior is cozy in the colder months. Can’t recommend Dylan and the wonderful staff enough! Ask Eric for a Venom.

Nestled in the Pendleton neighborhood, 13 Below Brewery was founded by three cousins and a friend with a wealth of brewing experience. The brewery boasts an extensive beer menu featuring favorites like West Coast IPA, Gravensteen traditional ale, and Lock & Dam #37 scotch ale. The spacious taproom is a popular hangout spot for locals and visitors alike.
This was a great find! Been on my brewery visit list for a bit and finally made it. I’ll definitely be back! You can tell the staff is dedicated to a quality product and experience. The West Coast IPA was on point! There’s a food truck outside that you can order from or on their website. Location has live music on Fridays. They also have a TON of outdoor seating.

Located right next to Cabana on the River, it's the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink. It's also worth a visit alone because the BBQ food truck parked out front is delicious! The sauerkraut balls were the best we've ever had. Our favorite beer was Fernbank. The beer selection isn't overly expansive, but we liked several that we tried. They have a large indoor seating area along with outdoor seating. There were picnic tables out front and a covered patio in the back. We came on a Saturday evening, and they were setting up for a band to play that night. Great place!

13 below had a great selection of quality craft beer, a friendly staff, and a great facility. I love the picnic tables out front, the indoor seating, and the fenced in backyard where kiddos and pups can play. Not to be forgotten is their sister business, the smokey BBQ truck attached to their building. The barn burner sauce is amazingly flavourful but a nice nasally kick. I bought a few bottles to take with me.

Neat brewery we've been wanting to visit for several months. We finally had a chance to stop in on a Saturday afternoon. Hubby had a flight and really enjoyed three of the beers. He chose the River Castle Amber on his second round. I really enjoyed the Rail & River Porter. Although it wasn't crowded, by the time we were leaving around 5 pm, several people were starting to arrive. Staff was friendly, service was great, beer selection was excellent, beer was very, very good and ambiance was perfect. We'll definitely be back with other family members!

Great atmosphere at this brewery on the Ohio River: relaxed during the day, and a bit more energetic at night with live bands some nights. I enjoyed the beer. The Incline Smoke Shack is the permanent food truck on site, with a good size menu of bbq, burgers, a fish sandwich and more. And tons of parking, which isn't a given at Cincy breweries.

Visited 12/27/19, so I'm a bit late with writing this review. Man, if I hadn't have been specifically looking for this place, I'd have never known it was there. Tucked away off I50 in an old industrial area where one would not expect to find a brewery, but the location seems to be working for them. Not much to look at from the outside, but they have a rather large area around the brewery that I assume during warmer months is put to good use. Very nice, clean and spacious inside. Great atmosphere with several large screen tvs, a long bar, and plenty of seating. Staff was very friendly, easy to talk with, and attentive. Plus the place is dog-friendly, and if I can drink beer and pet dogs at the same time, that's a win-win in my book! I had the peanut butter variant of the 1516 Dunkel, (which is the first I've ever heard of anyone adding peanut butter to a dunkel), the Winter Warmer, and the Rail & River Porter. All were very well made and tasty. Definitely a place worth seeking out.

Bar
Located in Over-the-Rhine, Liberty's Bar & Bottle Shop offers a unique experience with its combination of a bar and a bottle shop. With 20 craft beers on tap and 15 wines available by the glass, along with an impressive selection of 100 bottles of wine and 40 craft beers for retail purchase, there's something for every palate. The establishment is pet-friendly, welcoming dogs to relax while their owners enjoy drinks.
Update: They make their own ginger beer and the N-A wine was solid. Bathrooms are clean. This bar is a hidden gem in OTR with comfy couches, cool art and awesome bartenders. You can get full and half pours of wine and beer here. The vibe is very chill - even when it's busier it's not too loud. Prices and selections are good. They even have zero proof / non-alcohol options. They also sell bottles and cans to go. In addition, there's outside seating. Look for the pink 3 little pigs out front.

Always awesome to visit dog friendly spaces 🤗 Chill atmosphere and the people were very friendly, they even shared their Taco bell with one of my de-gen buddies lol

What happened was disgraceful. The waitress took it upon herself to shove customers she decided hadn’t tipped “enough.” The bartender backed her up, also putting his hands on people. Then a low-class man, pretending to be the owner, stepped in and actually assaulted the customers. And all of this happened just because the group had asked for something as simple and reasonable as merging one bill into another. From a legal standpoint, what they did wasn’t just unprofessional — it was outright assault.

Libs is the swanky dive that shouldn't exist. The wine and beer selection both on draft and for takeout are amazing. There's clearly a lot of smarts behind their selection of drinks and the bartenders are amazing humans. What's not to love if you're a local?

The waitress physically pushed customers whom she believed had not tipped sufficiently. The bartender also engaged in pushing, and an individual falsely claiming to be the owner further escalated the situation by physically assaulting the customers. The sole request made by the customers was to merge one bill with another. These actions constitute unlawful physical contact and intimidation. Legally, this behavior amounts to assaul

I love going to liberty's for happy hour or a cocktail. They vibe is very laid back and cozy. All the bartenders are so knowledgeable and nice, they make you feel like you are part of the neighborhood. Great wine selection and the make a mean martini! Love that they are pet friendly as well!

Milton's Prospect Hill Tavern is a classic neighborhood dive bar with a laid-back atmosphere and friendly regulars. The minimal decor adds to its charm, offering a space to unwind after work with affordable drinks. Upstairs, you'll find a pool table and shuffleboard, while the back has a smoking area. It's not the trendiest spot, but the cool bartender and reasonable prices make it worth visiting for an authentic local experience.
Great bar to relax and have a few drinks. They have a pinball machine. They also have touch tunes. The staff is great and the owner is super nice. The drink prices are great and the regulars are fun to talk to. Definitely recommend this bar.

I went here with my mom on her birthday and had a really good time. Shuffle board was awesome to play with good beer. The bartenders where so nice, and had a good meal for a good price.
Caleb S — Google review
Lush divey feel with good pool table and shuffle board. Wandering in randomly one night the bengals were playing and the whole place was a roar with locals. As a couple of out of towners this was a little intimidating however the locals quickly took a liking to us and made us feel right at home. Apart from the incident with the man who just got out of jail three days ago and the locals having to barricade the door to keep him out it was the highlight of Cincinnati. P.s I’ll always remember the calming words a local whispered in my ear when things were getting a bit tense “don’t worry, he’s probably not armed”

This is a fantastic neighborhood bar. It's no frills and cheap drinks. Most of the folks you'll find inside are from the neighborhood and know each other well. The layout is quite large. The bar itself is on the first floor, just inside the door. There is another room off the main room with additional seating as well as a staircase to the second floor that offers pool, shuffleboard and more seating. I really enjoy my time at this bar and would return.

Fido Field is a delightful urban dog park in Cincinnati, managed entirely by dedicated volunteers who understand the joy of providing a safe space for our furry companions. Spanning over 28,000 square feet near the downtown Mt. Adams pedestrian bridge, this park features both turf and grassy areas, ensuring that pups can play without getting too muddy—even after rain! With designated sections for small and large dogs, Fido Field offers ample room for all breeds to frolic freely.
Love this place! Ginormous 1+ acre off leash dog park w Small (< 25 pounds) & Large dog areas w turf. Very little mud, even when it pours. 🌧 BWOW: Bring your own water. 💦 🐕 Opened in 2009 by a volunteer led group w zero tax dollars, as Procter & Gamble, via their Iams division, made a $50,000 donation, since FF a tennis 🎾 ball throw from their HQ in DT Cincy. This place was a savior during our weekend at 21c. There is barely any potty places near our hotel. This was a quick drive over and let my puppy potty and run out some zoomies!

Fido Field is a great dog park that is well maintained. It has a small dog area, which you can’t find at a lot of dog parks. Our dogs had a great time.

Plenty of friendly dogs were there. It was too cold to stay very long, even though I dressed Camelia in a sweater. The little dogs must not retain heat as well as the larger breeds, because they seemed less playful.

Pretty good dog park with one side for larger dogs and another for smaller ones. Has long dog runs. Great opportunity to socialize a puppy. If you don't have a dog then avoid, otherwise you will just look creepy.

Large dog park. There are usually quiet a few dogs around to play with but also enough room that if you want to play fetch you can do so relatively undisturbed.

We come to Fido from Erlanger. The drive is worth it. The park is a community park in the truest sense of the word because people are accountable for its care. I've met very few troublesome folks. Most of the park is lined with astroturf making it ideal on wet days. My black lab, Liam loves to visit.

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is a renowned animal park and conservatory featuring over 3,000 plant species and a wide array of wildlife exhibits. As the second-oldest zoo in the United States, it offers an immersive experience with more than 500 friendly creatures, including the famous hippo Fiona. Visitors can also explore diverse botanical collections and enjoy interactive activities such as riding the Safari Train, experiencing the Conservation Carousel, and watching captivating shows at the 4-D Theater.
I’ve been to the Cincinnati Zoo several times now, and just went again this past Saturday (drove a little under 2 hours from Indy!). This trip I did the behind-the-scenes hippo tour and WOW—such an awesome experience for a big hippo fan like me! 🦛💙 Definitely a highlight of my visits. It was super hot that day, but thankfully they had a giant misting fan that I kept running back to—it was a lifesaver! 💨 The zoo itself is beautiful 🌳🌸 with so much to see. The elephant exhibit and snack area were wonderful 🐘—you can even eat an elephant ear there (yum! 🍩). Plus, we got to feed the giraffes 🦒, which was right up there with the hippo tour in terms of favorite moments. Just a heads up: it’s really hilly ⛰️ and there’s lots of walking 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️, so comfy shoes are a must. My only complaints: I wish the signage was a little better. I couldn’t find the sloth 🦥 (the app wasn’t up to date either), and the parking lot could use clearer signs too—we actually ended up wandering around a lot we didn’t even park in trying to find our car. 🚗😅 Other than that, always a fantastic time here and I’ll definitely be back again! 🌟
Sarah F — Google review
We drove three hours to visit and it did not disappoint. It was so green and beautiful. It took us about 4 hours to walk through and see everything. Almost all the animals were out. It is a little easy to get lost. There's a lot of paths that cut through by the map on their app helps because it gave you the exact path you need.
Brittany K — Google review
I recently went with my mom for our annual trip, and our last time here was the best time I have had. I do recommend arriving early on busy days and purchasing tickets in advance as there is always a line. However, should you forget (like me), it's quick and easy to purchase on their website when you arrive. I was beyond thrilled to see their Asian small-clawed river otters (even if they were sleeping) and North American river otters! This made my day as otters are my favorite animal. I look forward to the completion of the sea otter exhibit. I do wish the zoo would advertise the otters better; they're not mentioned at all on their zoo map. (If you're wondering, they are located in Siamang Point and Wolf Woods.) The main souvenir shop near the entrance/exit seemed to have a much more limited selection than they did in the past. There are other gift shops per the map, but I kept missing them somehow. Perhaps as more exhibits are completed, they will expand their options. But overall, it was a great day.
Crystal S — Google review
It’s a nice zoo, albeit smaller than I expected. They have all of the types of animals you’d see at any major zoo. It got really crowded on a Sunday afternoon, there was a long line just to get in by 2pm, so come early. It has better landscaping and decor than most zoos.
Thirteendays — Google review
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to genuinely care about the animals. It's a very good environment. It's not very friendly if you have any mobility challenges, but they do offer motorized scooters and other assistance. This is a great zoo!

This zoo is gorgeous! Loved every minute of it. So much to look at and keep the kids entertained. A lot of history as well. The hippos were awesome team Fiona! Paid the 4 bucks for my daughter's to feed the giraffes. Zeke was quite the character. I was surprised to see how gentle he was with my 7 and 5 year old. I went on election day so it was packed! However it was pleasant. The elephants and others were super entertaining as well.
Jaycee R — Google review
Amazing zoo and experience. Easy, ample parking with a short walk, then many exhibits and some with multiple angles and approaches to make sure you see the animals, like the elephants and more. Special events like giraffe feeding and cheetah run are really unique. Kids and adults had an awesome time!

I visited this beautiful place on a date. It was SO fun 💜 We arrived around 1230-1pm. This was about the time they were feeding the cats and they were all out. I got some amazing pictures! Hofbräuhaus - Newport, located just across the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky, is the first authentic Hofbräuhaus to open outside of Germany. This massive beer hall offers a sprawling indoor/outdoor space where you can enjoy house-brewed German lagers following the Reinheitsgebot law of purity. The staff, dressed in traditional garb, impressively carry multiple steins at once while polka music fills the air.
First time diner and looking forward to my next visit! I was in Newport for an appointment and was looking for a quick lunch that wasn't fast food. I drove by and saw it and then wanted German food. The atmosphere was pretty cool with the music and decorum. The food was awesome as well. Seeing the huge mugs of beer made me want one but that would have to wait for another time. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly! For those that are military, they do have a discount with ID. I had the Munich Sampler and it was awesome! I couldn't eat it all. The sauerkraut was not overly sour and the potatoes were tasty also! I was torn between the bratwurst and the schnitzel, so the sampler gave me both!

We had a nice quick stop at Hofbrauhaus in Newport. We had just finished up at the aquarium, I remembered I had a free pretzel from attending the Reds game the day before so we stopped to redeem that and get off our feet. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio in the shade which was perfect for us and our baby. The pretzel was solid not blow you away but good. The beer cheese had a good consistency and flavor. We also got the Bavarian cream puff dessert which was very tasty. I’m not a huge Bavarian cream guy and I really enjoyed it along with my wife. Looks like a traditional beer house inside with locals storing steins and even had a band playing.

Hofbräuhaus in Newport, the tri-state area’s original microbrewery, offers a fantastic atmosphere. Inside, the beer hall is designed for shared experiences, encouraging conversation and a sense of community. Outside, the beer garden's picnic tables foster the same community feeling, just a bit quieter. Attentive staff greet customers warmly and maintain this hospitality throughout their visit. We enjoyed warm pretzels and an excellent lager before our delicious sandwiches arrived. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our trip concluded with a walk across the Purple People Bridge, spanning from Northern Kentucky's well-designed and interesting riverfront to Cincinnati's welcoming riverfront.

Stopped in for a meal during Oktoberfest. They initially said the wait would be over an hour, but it ended up being less than 20 minutes. The atmosphere was great, the band was fun and you could tell a lot of other patrons were having a good time too. People were up dancing, toasting, clapping and singing along. The food was pretty good, schnitzel could have been pounded out thinner, but that's just me being picky. The drinks weren't bad and were fairly priced.

You gotta give this place five for enthusiasm and…honesty. The beef sausages all have pork said my waitress. Ok then. I’m sure I’ll survive. The band- a hard working duet - have programmed everything from German to Neil Diamond to big band Glen Miller (including the trombone solo!) into the accordion, accompanied by a polite drummer. They played over the course of six hours on the day I came. Hysterical and fun and kinda amazing. They are singing Sweet Caroline some local version that hollers out So good So good So good… hokey sure but… l All that and spatzle too. The food was good, the waitress was nice. We ain’t got nothin like this in New Orleans.

4.5 stars. The German sausage platter of three different sausages was excellent as was the German potato salad and red cabbage. Service was first rate. Got a 1/2 liter of Dunkel for hh price of $4. A lot of entrees available. Chicken Pork etc. Apple strudel was great also.
I.E. X — Google review
I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. 4.5 is too low. Their Jagerschnitzel was a tender pork cutlet, covered with delicious wine and mushroom sauce, and it came with German potato salad and fried cabbage. I had to try the potato pancake and their apfel strudel as well. This place was busy on a quiet Sunday night, even though a big street fair was going on at the same time in nearby Covington. The music and wall decorations made for a great German atmosphere, I didn’t need to go to the biergarden outside to have a great experience. Five stars.

The Cincinnati Art Museum, established in 1881, is a historical venue with a remarkable collection of over 67,000 works spanning 6,000 years. It features paintings by renowned European and American artists such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Winslow Homer, and Georgia O'Keeffe. The museum also showcases an impressive selection of Asian, African, and Native American art.
The Cincinnati Art Museum is a must see. I was traveling and decided to detour in Cincinnati for the night. I came on a Sunday and it's free on Sundays along with free parking. There are tons of beautiful pieces and I appreciate there are a lot more paintings here. The Cleveland Art Museum and the Richmond Art Museum have more artifacts than paintings or other traditional forms of art. I saw many paintings I've never seen before. Most art museums focus on French art but this one focuses more on English, Egyptian, Roman and Asian. A nice change of pace. The museum is perched on the high hills of Cincinnati to overlook a spectacular view. Great museum.

Some advice if you decide to visit the butterflies - wear pink or red, it attracts them. The playgrounds are also art pieces that you can play on. If you are in town give yourself a few hours to see everything.

Nice park. Picnic tables and shelters available. We had kids in the car that needed to burn off some energy and it's right off I-75. Playground equipment has zip line, climbing tower, swings, slides. Some kids were a bit over bearing and inconsiderate, foul language, pouring water down the slides. Clean bathrooms, so it's a good stop for breaking up a long drive.

Rhinegeist Brewery is a Cincinnati original situated in the heart of Over-the-Rhine. Housed in a historic bottling plant, it offers a wide range of house-brewed beers and entertainment options such as Ping-Pong, cornhole, and TVs. The brewery's rooftop bar provides panoramic views of Cincinnati, making it an ideal spot to savor locally crafted beer. Visitors can also enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere and bring food from local spots in OTR for a fun afternoon.
Rhinegeist is an awesome brewery. Such a great place for a large group of people. We loved sitting on the rooftop and enjoyed the large selection of beers to choose from. The bartender was fabulous. Highly recommend!

Every time we come into the Cincy area, we make a stop here for some drinks, a view, and a chill spot to have great views. It’s so much nicer to drink from the tap rather than a can. We love the rooftop bar area. It’s is 21+ older. Inside is family/kid friendly. There are stairs to walk and also an elevator as well to access the main floor for patrons.

Rhinegeist Brewery tour was awesome! The public tour was $6 for a tour of the facility with a beverage token you get to choose from multiple options...The waiting room area is super nice you play bags and it's a great lounging area. It a pretty Nice gem in the Cincinnati area. 100% recommend!

LGBTQ friendly, so spacious and flooded with light, lots of game for everyone including kids, and a wonderful rooftop with beautiful views of the city on one side and greenery/trees on the other, you also can see murals from there. I loved that they support nonprofits and make it easy for people to donate. I think they have some food options but we didn’t eat/looked for food, I did see pretzels! Overall, a fun and cool place!

Stopped in to try some local beer while in town. Really cool layout. The place is huge with a warehouse size area downstairs and a great rooftop outside seating area upstairs. The beer is solid. Overall we had a really good time!

Great beers on tap. It was a bit warm today inside but it is like the hottest day of the year! 🥵 Go to the roof top for an amazing view of the city. Would like sours on tap 🙏🏻

HUGE Brewery with a spacious indoor area and rooftop bar. We tried 4 different beers, they were all tasty. The place was packed for the Ohio State football game. Great atmosphere, definitely recommend this place for locals or out of towers like us.

Cincinnati Music Hall, a grand institution for performing arts, has been captivating music, opera, and theater enthusiasts for over a century. This Victorian Gothic Revival building was constructed in 1878 and is adorned with glittering chandeliers and an Old World ambiance. It serves as the home to renowned organizations such as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, and Cincinnati Ballet.
Such a beautiful, eclectic music hall. We've been to four concerts this year and sat all over the theater and there's not a bad seat in the house for music.

Beautiful building. Acoustics are amazing. We were there for a sold out show. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I like getting prepaid parking, it was nice just walking across the street from the Washington Park parking garage.

A great venue to enjoy a musical concert. The acoustics are sound with ample, moden restrooms. especially helpful during intermission. I will visit future performances here.

Restored music venue in the heart of Cincinnati. Beautiful park across the street and decent eating within a few minute radius for either before or after a show. The interior is absolutely beautiful with comfortable seating and very good sight lines. Acoustically it was excellent. Once nice touch was the closed-captioning for English. It was up and out of the way. You could either ignore it, or quickly flick your eyes up to it without disrupting the performance. The ease of entry and the ability to get to our seats without confusion was also very good. There is also a reasonable drink/snack selection at the bars.

Ault Park, located in Cincinnati's Mount Lookout neighborhood, is a sprawling 223-acre park known for its historic 1930s pavilion and picturesque landscapes. Named after Levi Addison and Ida May Ault, the park offers stunning views of the Little Miami River Valley from its scenic hilltop. The Italian Renaissance-style pavilion is a popular spot for public and private events, while the formal gardens, nature trails, and cascade fountains make it a favorite location for portrait sessions.
Ault Park is absolutely beautiful! It’s a perfect place to walk, relax, and enjoy nature. The landscaping is stunning — there are so many flowers, unique shrubs, and trees to admire, especially for plant lovers. It’s a very spacious park with plenty of greenery, open areas, and scenic views. You can visit with kids or pets — it’s family- and dog-friendly. There’s also a large parking area, which makes it really convenient. Definitely one of the most peaceful and well-kept parks in the city!
Lika A — Google review
I've been here 2-3 times now (new to the area) and despite trying to come up with something negative to say about this park, I cannot. It's a beautiful park. Well maintained, not crowded, and great views of the surrounding area. It's an old school park thoughtfully designed for brief walks, fresh air, and relaxation. It is not a huge state park lending itself for miles and miles of hiking (at least from what I've seen so far).
James R — Google review
TBH, I’m not generally at this park a lot. But it does have some great features, like the big pavilion in the main area with its large water feature in the middle of the stairway area. That area is also flanked by floral gardens that (last I checked) are planted and cared for by various organizations and normal citizens of the city. There are also hiking trails, picnic tables, a grove of cherry blossom trees. Etc. can’t beat it for a city tour if you have “out of towners” visiting in the Hyde park area.
Keith V — Google review
This park is absolutely beautiful even with the beginning of spring which was when these pictures were taken (late March 2025). Theres a paved walking path along the park, an open grass area for picnics or reading, an observatory, an overlook & more. I was hoping the cherry blossom trees would have been in peak bloom but I think I was there a week or two early. Nonetheless, still a beautiful park to explore!

Perfect for a sunset walk. Views are amazing. Both the botanical gardens and the walking trails were very fun to walk through.

Amazing cafe, definitely something to experience. I got the breakfast burrito, white chocolate truffle latte, and pumpkin muffin. The first thing I noticed about the places was how spacious it was. It was nice, relaxing, uniquely decorated, and had a positive vibe to it. Secondly, the breakfast burrito was delicious! You could tell it was freshly made that day and not prepackaged. Latte and pumpkin muffin were also excellent! For sure coming back here.

Friendly service kicked off the great experience! I ordered my typical mocha and I usually don’t get whipped cream, but she told me they make it in house and add some delicious vanilla, so I tried it and it’s worth the extra calories! I’d definitely recommend it. Also, it was such a hot day outside, I ordered it iced, but if you’re staying in their dining area, it’s quite air conditioned so you could even do a hot coffee on a hot day. 👍🏼

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were out showing downtown townhouses and condos to a wonderful couple — and their energetic niece was tagging along. After hiking up and down stairs (real estate cardio! 🏃‍♀️🔑), she needed a little pick-me-up. So we popped into Coffee Emporium… just as they were about to close. 😬 In fact, we’re pretty sure the register had already been shut down — but the staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating. They still allowed us to purchase a few drinks, a sandwich, some cookies, and a yogurt (gotta keep the protein up! 💪🍦). Their kindness and flexibility meant so much to us and our clients. This simple act of generosity truly reflects the ‘can-do’ spirit of Cincinnati — the kind of attitude that makes us proud to live and work here. Thank you, Coffee Emporium, for helping me keep my cool and making my clients happy home buyers! 🙏🏡 Your team served up more than just coffee that day — you served compassion, community, and a little extra caffeine-fueled joy. ☕❤️ Go Reds! Stellar spot, especially if you like fruit-based beer (by which I don’t mean “fruity,” as not all are sweet). Here you can get sours, tarts, and hard ciders. You can get gluten free cerveza here. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They will let you try what is on tap if you can’t decide. When I was last there, they had 12 selections on tap, including ciders. They sell by the can as well, and have gift certificates.

Fantastic. Street parking, and on the lower level of an old church await amazing fruity beers. Offer flights, many to-go options including crowlers of items not offered in other to-go (bottle, singles, tallboys, multi-packs). Service friendly and quick. No kitchen but have menus for 2 pizza places. I got the NYPD pizza - with the Urban Artifact deal a large 1 topping pie is only like 13 bucks. While I would classify the pie as alright, the value is unbeatable. The tarts - my favorite was a chili/fig - this is a fresh beer that tastes of pepper. Also enjoyed the coconut smoothie - it's not a slushy texture but the taste profile is fantastic - earthbn but tiki adjacent. I also got a few small bottles of their aged stuff which I'm super excited to try. These aren't cheap and there are no samples fyi. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone wanting a unique venue and great, fruity beers.

Did my wedding here. Overall extremely positive experience. The price was pretty competitive with most other venues, and they were able to accommodate our special requests. Several great opportunities for photos both inside and outside. They had several recommended caterers who were familiar with serving the venue (We went with mazunte). The inside of the venue is beautiful and comfortably sat 100 people for dinner with room for a dance floor. A few minor downsides - first, the surrounding area isn't exactly "picturesque". Also, you have to share a bathroom with the bar downstairs for your events, which was less than ideal for us but didn't turn out to be that big of an issue. I wasn't big on the fruit sours at first but they grew on me and now Gadget is one of my favorite beers. Also, it was a little bit challenging to get ahold of the staff at some points in the planning process, but we got everything resolved in the end. Also, you should be aware there is only one bridal suite. In spite of the minor gripes I am mentioning here I think it still warranted five stars and I would definitely go with them again.

Bad Tom Smith Brewing is a brewery that is currently undergoing many changes. Such a awesome experience! We have hit well over 20 plus breweries in the Cincinnati/ Kentucky area and this one is by far in our top 5! We were there kinda on off hours(1:30) but couldn't feel more welcomed. The bartender Brady was knowledgeable and friendly and the food was great too! Jerry the cook was a super cool dude too! 18 different beers to choose from! The bartender was welcoming and offered recommendations based on what we typically drink. Food is available, but we didn't try anything. No dedicated parking lot, but we had no problem finding a spot on the street nearby.

Stopped in at Bad Tom Smith Brewing in an attempt to have a quick snack for lunch and find a shirt for a friend. Walked in to a near empty bar, perfect (or one would hope,) only two other paying patrons and who appeared to be an employee with his infant child (not relevant overall to the review but is relevant to the experience.) We ordered drinks while trying to figure out what we wanted to eat and the bartender brought our drinks and was gone like the wind as I was trying to order food. He spent the rest of the time we were there at the opposite end of the bar giving all of his attention to the man holding the baby and did not return to my boyfriend and I until I slurped the air left in my empty glass after I finished my drink. While the drinks were good, the customer service was severely lacking and I doubt I would return here.

You might miss this little tap room gem if your not looking for it. From the outside you might not think this a craft brewery, but once you enter the stainless steel casks confirms your in for a treat. The presentation by Todd set the tone that you were in for more than just a regular beer. We enjoyed the historical background of the not so common "Kentucky Common" and other craft brews we were about to enjoy. Todd took his time to make sure that we were matched with just the right beer for each of our pallets. I had the very drinkable Black Kettle Chocolate Stout and my date had a rich Red Rye. Both selections were excellent. The tap room itself is very cozy and the vinyl record player adds a unique vibe. We left with a smile on our faces and a new place to come back to again and again. Two thumbs up!

Welcomed to an open area, seemingly a reserved party. Had the hot wings and Vampire Slayer pizza. Pizza had a nice blend of slow spice with the mozzarella and a quick kick on the goat cheese. Wings were serviceable, one can tell there was care given over your BW3s. Definitely recommend the pizza, a fantastic dish. Wings are meaty and large for your average order, having the sort of heat you'd expect from a buffalo ranch. Service was timely and helpful, will be back soon!!

It hard to belive that I haven't been to Alms Park in over a half century. We used to come here often because Pop-up grew at the bottom of the hill. I still remember my first snow sled ride and the stone slide about 60 years ago.

★☆☆☆☆ Popularity ★☆☆☆☆ Size/Location ★★★★☆ Terrain ★★★☆☆ Scenery ★★☆☆☆ Accessibility ★★★☆☆ Amenities ★★★★★ Condition ★★★★★ Safety Date visited: 09/16/2023 On a scorching summer day, I visited Alms Park perched atop a hill, known for its picturesque views and serene surroundings. As I approached, there was no visible parking lot in sight, but I managed to secure a spot along the roadside. The road was lined with cars, and a service truck hinted at preparations for an event, likely a wedding set to take place in the pavilion. This pavilion, situated at the heart of the park, rested on top of a mound. However, it was bustling with activity, dominated by Latino workers and other guests. Their presence made it difficult for me to explore this particular area. Opposite the pavilion, a pergola provided a delightful alternative. It offered a serene overlook of the airport field below and distant mountains, creating a captivating view that contrasted the intense summer heat. Further southwest within the park, I discovered yet another overlook area. Here, a few older gentlemen sought refuge from the scorching September sun, sitting on the hot concrete and gazing at Luken Field and the horizon beyond. It was a moment that seemed to embody reflection on the past, appreciation of the present, and contemplation of the future. As I ventured deeper into the park, I noticed a nature trail that led into a wooded area below. The temptation to explore was strong, but I opted to save it for another day. The park boasted a variety of amenities, including a children's playground, picnic tables, and grills. Families were making the most of these features, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere that I didn't wish to disturb. Overall, this park atop the hill offered a pleasant escape from the summer heat. The road leading to and within the park was well-shaded, making it an ideal location for a leisurely walk or hike any day of the week.

Blank Slate Brewing Company in Cincinnati, OH is a pet-friendly brewery that offers a great selection of craft brews. Despite its small parking lot, it's considered one of the best breweries in the area and somewhat of an undiscovered gem. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and while the taproom is small, there's a patio area that opens up during the summer. Guests can bring their own food or order from nearby restaurants for delivery.

I hate sour beers, and sour beer seems to be the up and coming trend in microbreweries. Blank Slate's Mother Lover sour ale is the best sour ale I've yet tasted. Other sour brews all taste like skunked beer to me, but Mother Lover tastes like the sour was intentional, and bites your tongue and the back of your throat! Ryesing Up was also good, and so was Shroominous. Two thumbs up for this brewery!

Wonderful beers. Nice tasting room. Friendly and helpful staff. Callahan's concept is a beautiful brew with amazing lavender frgrance. These folks are true artists with the beer. More than worth a visit or five.

By far our favorite place in Cincinnati. The beers are incredible and the atmosphere is perfect. The staff is kind and super knowledgeable, they won't steer you wrong. Do yourself a favor and go to Blank Slate!

Very chill atmosphere. Orchids Flourish was really good. I could imagine drinking it while hanging out at the beach. It has a slight hint of tequila and lime. I normally love sours but Mother Lover tasted too much like vinegar to me.

Cam here on a Saturday night. The parking lot is small, but available. Same with seating inside. No food, but they do sell chips. The beer list on the table is not as up to date as the one on the chalkboard. You really cannot go wrong with any of the beers, every single one was good, even ones that weren't my style.

Went to play some free pool with a buddy. I don't drink so I sipped on coke. I'm sure I could've asked for a non alcoholic drink but wasn't really concerned. Lively and energetic atmosphere!

Ask for peanuts!! Good local bar even for the visitors in town. Usually has really good bartenders but every once in a while they will have a bad night (understandable with bigger crowds). No food but they got plenty of peanuts to go around if you ask. Not a bad bar with a decent liquor selection.

I Live close to 1 block from the bar, and I was here on Friday 02/03/24 I experienced that one of the bartenders was not very good at customer service when I asked for more drinks she ignored us, I can understand that on Friday night it can get very busy but also is all about customer service I felt like she was not very good to us because she was giving more attention to others and when we were order more drinks she was on us like we had to pay right away I felt like she was rushing us. I told her that the bathroom was very dirty and smelled like urine and paper towels all over the floor. I have never had any issues with the other bartenders .I just felt that I was treated some kind away.

Perfect neighborhood five bar, especially since the Bellevue smoking ban started. They bartenders are always friendly and welcoming, and they have a surprisingly large beer selection.

Went on a friday night. Great outdoor seating and indoor options. Great price for drinks. They play good music (I assume it's a jukebox). They even have non alcoholic beer so thats always a plus. My girlfriend drunkenly sang that darling song from David Allan Coe with a stranger. So she had fun!

The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza is a historic art deco hotel located in the heart of Cincinnati. It offers over 140 luxurious guest rooms and suites, featuring amenities such as roman tubs, fireplaces, and balconies. Guests can also enjoy the hotel's fitness room and nearby attractions like the Great American Ballpark. The hotel is part of the Carew Tower Complex, an iconic Art Deco architectural landmark in downtown Cincinnati.
Beautiful hotel. Service was great and had no complaints except room service got our order wrong twice and we had to wait almost an hour between each delivery. Bathroom was a little small in the room but that makes sense since it's an old building. It was right downtown with a beautiful view of the river. Within walking distance of a lot of food, shops, and entertainment. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Excellent location and great view of the river. Art deco decor - in the lobby has a nice touch. Front desk staff-Tanesha and Carter were awesome! Very courteous and professional. Cons: Room was very spacious-however, it was musty and dusty!! OMG! Very lukewarm water in bathroom, sink faucet leaked, flat bed pillows-had to use pillows from the other bed just to get comfortable. Rooms could definitely use a serious refresh. Would not stay there again.

What a gem this hotel is! We arrived at about the same time all the baseball fans were trying to check in and the staff was very helpful. The doorman gave us the rundown on what to expect and some pointers to make things go smoothly. The desk was short staffed but handled everyone with respect, professionalism, and didn’t rush anyone through, making sure we had what we needed. Our room was clean and fit in nicely with the aesthetic of the hotel. What an amazing history this place has! We spent almost two hours checking out the displays, reading the signs, and enjoying the atmosphere. I love the corridor with all the salons- each doorway has a different architectural style with a sign explaining what it is. It felt like a museum! I won’t say it is haunted, but you could definitely feel the past grandeur of the spaces and easily imagine what the place was in all of its glory. I really wish we could have seen the hall of mirrors!

It's beautiful but I was stuck on an elevator with my 3 yo daughter. When I went to tell the lady at the desk about this she told me, Well things just happen sometimes. It really upset me. My diamond account revied no points for the visit. They also took my deposit. I'm a diamond member with Hilton. I feel like she intentionally stole my deposit for absolutely no reason. I have never not received my deposit back. I paid $600 for my room to have a good time with my kid. I will never return. She made me feel uncomfortable to even walk through the lobby. I will be reporting her today. They also charged me around $100 just to park at the hotel over my stay. Do not ever go to a gas station near downtown. Reminded me of the hood in Chicago. If you look up the gas stations their photos are of shooting and police. I will never stay downtown Cincinnati again. Also, my sheet had a stain and multiple holes in the sheet. The plastic to the air-conditioner was hanging off the wall. There was liquid on the walls. Ive never stayed at such a nasty Hilton in my life. It's beautiful outside the room. That's about it. Horrible experience
Adam O — Google review
The hotel and lobby definitely feels like you stepped into a time machine. Done up with art deco, like the empire state building. I love how they try to preserve its historic charm! The location is excellent also, walkable to a lot of Cincy attractions. Where it lacks is in the rooms themselves, Old, banged up, needing some TLC. I've stayed in many Hiltons around the country and this one probably needs the most work. Found stained sheets, blankets, and mattresses that made my wife and I change rooms 3 times. The front desk was more than accommodating though. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but would like to see some improvements before I stay here again.
Richard M — Google review
The staff was always kind and helpful, my first thought was this hotel is old and needed a face lift especially for the cost of the room but once I really started to wonder I loved the vintage feel and I’m sure it would cost a fortune to fix what needs to be fixed … also loved the location but not the parking garage fee! Pretty sure we over paid on our way out … we spent a few evenings in the 1931 restaurant and bar great food and service , loved our waiter Nehemiah and bar waitress Suzanne she was working very hard they were extremely busy and she needed help they happened to be under staffed … morning coffee was delicious and yes room service could use some improvement and the elevators seemed a little shaky the beds and pillows were super comfortable!! I might consider staying there again if I’m in town

SCAM!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We woke up on the morning after our stay to a $700 room charge. When we went to the front desk to ask what was going on, we were told there was a $700 bar tab closed and “charged to our room number” at almost midnight the night before. We explained to the people working at the front desk and security that this could not possibly have been us. We went out to dinner down the street Saturday evening and had a few drinks at a local sports bar that night and were in bed by 11pm. We never entered the bar. When they showed us the receipt, there was a completely different room number written down, then scribbled out to put our number and name. There were 20+ charges on the receipt. There’s no way 2 people could have ran up a tab like that period. What I think actually happened? I think they allowed someone to run up a $700 bar tab and get so drunk they couldn’t speak or even pay, they gave the wrong room number (originally 2350). Then they looked it up and realized that nobody was staying in that room and they didn’t want to get stiffed so they wrote 2315 (our room number) and looked up who was staying and just wrote in our names. You can clearly tell it was not our signature. It wasn’t even a signature at all. Just a printed name. The people working the front desk treated us awful. You could tell they thought we were guilty of running up a bar tab we couldn’t pay for. One lady went as far as to ask us if we had a friend that was playing a joke. We told them to pull the cameras and they would clearly see it wasn’t us. They claimed there was no one there that was capable of doing that until Monday morning. We asked them if they needed a picture of us for the person that was coming in Monday to be able to look at since this person clearly would have no idea who we were or what we looked at. They wouldn’t take any photos or proof of our identity. And guess what.. Monday came and they won’t return our calls. Nobody has checked the cameras. And we got charged over $1,000 for a one-night stay. We stayed here overnight to enjoy a nice date night away before going to the game on Sunday and now we will spend the next X amount of days trying to get this sorted out with the credit card company. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED.

Ohio River Trail is a picturesque riverside venue featuring fountains, gardens, walkways, playgrounds, event lawns, and restaurants. The trail in Cincinnati contributes to the regional vision for the Ohio River Way by establishing new connections. A crucial link between Lunken Airport and Coney Island has been completed, extending approximately 7 miles from Schmidt Field to Kellogg Park. Future plans aim to connect this river walk further west to the Indiana border and east to Lunken Airfield and New Richmond.
A very nice riverside park for a relaxing stroll on a nice summer evening. A paved trail follows the river past swing, playgrounds, trees, fountains, and gardens. Close to the stadiums and all the restaurants at The Banks.

We will always enjoy relaxing on the river. Whether you boat, fish, jet ski, drive, or walk near the river you will enjoy the scenery. The water is super dirty brown and we don't get in, but we love to boat and jet ski in the area.

A great walk to experience the riverfront of Cincinnati. Not from the area so this was a great way to see it. Amazing that we started at TM Berry Park with 2 hours of free parking. Destination was the suspension bridge to get a great pic of the downtown. Excellent shade during the morning walk, some nice art, water features and excellent landscaping/gardens - especially near the bridge. Super clean. Walked through a couple of parks as well as past the Bengals and Reds stadiums. Total distance of 3 miles.

This city park in Cincinnati was so much fun to visit. They have so many great attractions for both adults and children, including the flying pig sculpture that is movable, a piano chime that you can play with your feet, two and three person swings, and many other unusual attractions. The best thing was the Riverwalk itself with beautiful views of the river and bridges and a great photo op.

I would strongly recommend this hotel, the decor, but most importantly, the staff are excellent. The valet Person was excellent and equally such was the front desk gentleman with the Scottish type hat. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and Very friendly and accommodating. I only mention this because I used to own some hotel residences At a five star hotel, and the professionalism of this gentleman along with the restaurant staff as well as the concierge lady was so refreshing to see Quality Service. The rooms are extremely comfortable and I strongly recommend people take advantage of the concierge‘s lounge type level since the quality is superb. We look forward to coming back here longer trips. We’re here three nights, and we really are looking forward to enjoying our short stay.

My daughter and I had an incredible stay at the Renaissance. We traveled from Columbus & had ease of booking thanks to the front desk receptionists Jontee and Raine. They were so patient, informative and kind. Got a chance to meet the general manager he was also very accommodating and friendly. The entire hotel was clean and beautiful. The location was perfect for our concert venue. The view was also amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

The hotel is very nice old style. The rooms were big with good decor. The beds and pillows were very soft and not supportive. The bathroom was real nice with the sliding class doors and stand up only shower. The sink are was very poorly lit. When you stood in front of the mirror at the sink, you can barely see any light on your face just a little on the back of your head because of where the ceiling light was and the mirror itself had no light facing you. The restaurant and bar both had magnificent food, drinks and superior service. The front desk service was very poor. I had trouble checking in, trouble with the building by a third-party and trouble checking out. Two of the attendants, were very professional, and were apologetic and helped with the situation but several of the people I interacted with at the front desk appeared to be new, or just not very well trained. Rideshare was double going from the hotel, back to the airport then it was coming from the airport to the hotel.

We had a group of six for a 21st Birthday weekend. There was an issue with our booking source double booking and we got booked here last minute to fix the booking sources mistake. I called the hotel directly to make sure the reservation went through properly. And I spoke to Josh, who was absolutely amazing. The booking source had merged our names together and somehow separated our two rooms in the reservations making it difficult to initially locate our reservations. Josh fixed everything! He was patient and thoughtful. The birthday girl was surprised with a piece of cake and bottle of wine. He also gave her a suite with an adjoining room so there was room and beds for the whole party. To be clear, this hotel did not create this issues we had, it was all the booking source. But Josh went over and above to make the weekend wonderful!! Then the first night, Thomas at the front desk was super helpful and offer some options for a lowkey evening. The whole party had not arrived so they were just looking for dinner and a drink. Every interaction was positive. I would absolutely stay here again!

I was in town for a conference and opted to stay at this location over the hotel the conference was held out in part to accrue Bonvoy nights before the end of the year. The hotel was a great mix of maintaining the charm of the historic building while having modernized rooms. The rooms were a fairly stark white which did mean scuffs and scrapes were very visible, but upon arrival everything was very clean. The valet service was excellent as well and the location is perfect if you are going to be in the downtown area - it was walkable to most places I need to be and I only needed my car for sightseeing farther away. There were some great food choices nearby and the hotel restaurant offered 1,000 Bonvoy points when you spend $30 in the on-site restaurant. The only downside was the lack of consistent housekeeping. I was there for 5 nights and housekeeping only made it to my room twice. The second time, I had to call the front desk 5 times to get someone sent up. I was spending 8 - 10 hours out of my room, coming back well after 3pm to a room still unmade. The reason I had to be adamant about someone coming up the second time was that I was out of towels, the bed linens were untucked (and too tight for me to do myself) and I had amassed quite a bit of trash since the last visit. At first, I was super happy with the response. The front desk said head out for about 45 minutes and grab lunch and when you get back it'll be done because I'm sending someone up right now. Wonderful. Except I cam back an hour later to no one having come. I called again and someone was sent up, but they could not tell me how long it would be which was frustrating when I had just come back from being gone for so long. It the housekeeping setup had been more efficient or better articulated, this would be a 5 star rating.

A stay bad enough I feel compelled to leave a review. While the staff was lovely and accommodating, the state of this hotel is far below my expectations for a Marriott, let alone Renaissance property. To say the entire property is in need of some TLC and attention to detail is an understatement. My room had sheets on inside out, multiple pillowcases that were stained or had holes. The sheets were like sandpaper. Carpet throughout the hallways was riddled with loose strings or edges coming up. The staff was incredibly helping trying to make up for or address some of the issues but given it was a one night stay there was little to be done.
Phoebe G — Google review
Will not returning to this establishment. Was charged an additional $65 2 weeks after our stay, requested a bill over a week ago it took multiple phone calls for them to actually send me my bill. To my surprise someone charged $65 in room service to our bill that wasn't us! Very unprofessional and shady business practices. We always have enjoyed Marriott hotels as we are reward members but unfortunately will take our business to other hotels. 👎🏼

Okay… listen. The pictures on here show somewhat of an outdated hotel, so that’s what we were expecting. Just needed somewhere to lay down after a show at Bogart’s. Well, on the app, it lets you select your room, and I just knew that a lot of people from the concert we’re going to be staying in the hotel, so I went to the top floor and all the way to the end of the hallway, so we could actually get good sleep without hearing too much noise. Well, this worked in my favor, because the hotel is currently under/in the middle of major renovations, and the fifth floor was the first one to get the renovations. The fourth floor was currently closed due to the renovations, that’s how new these renovations were. Like I’m pretty sure we were the first ones to stay in the room that we stayed in since the renovations. Like the Room numbers were labeled with blue painters tape, that’s how new the renovations were. They were very nice and the flooring and walls and all of that were super updated. I even think that the beds and the TV were new. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. I usually stay in IHG hotels, but on the app, using your phone as the room key definitely was a added feature that I enjoyed. Definitely would stay here again if I need arises. The breakfast really was great too.

My son and I stayed here during the Queen City Choral Festival, and we had a wonderful experience. My son had a minor medical issue and Tim, one of the housekeepers, offered to help when he saw the problem. He got my son cold water, ice, and a washcloth. He also gave him some advice to help with the problem in the future. One of the managers, Dave, was also great with our group. He even had extra towels put out for us so the kids could swim in the pool without using the room towels. The rooms only got 4 stars because the hotel is under construction, and the rooms that we were in had not yet been renovated. Staff is amazing! Definitely recommend, especially if visiting University of Cincinnati!

This is a newly remodeled hotel(August 2025). Fantastic large rooms, incredibly clean and welcoming. Parking is the easiest in the city. Location is perfect, 10 minutes from the downtown attractions, 4 minutes from the zoo. Secure and safe for individual or for a family. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and polite, they are very knowledgeable of the are and are more than willing to recommend attractions in the city. Parking lots is shared with a great little taco place that serves alcohol if you are so inclined. Traveling a lot on long extensive multi state vacations every summer, this is one of the greatest big city hotels, let alone one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. I will be back again and again no doubt. Value for you dollar is an understatement, the amenities you get for the price is absurd honestly. You do have to pay for Parking ($9 when I stayed in August 2025) but it's well worth the security and easy access, and cheap compared to other parts of the city. You'd think this hotel would be closer to $300 a night with how luxury it is, but it's an extremely fair price for a city hotel.
Nuke L — Google review
The manager of this place is extremely immature and has poor people skills. After a clerk of hers overauthorized my credit card and got lippy with me over the phone, she evaded several attempts to discuss the situation. When I finally reached her, she called me a racist and then banned me from arriving at the property simply because I said it sounded like the person I talked to on the phone was a black girl solely to identify the person. The situation was blown way out of proportion, made into something it wasn’t, and the manager’s behavior was clearly outrageous. In hindsight, I think the manager saw a situation she didn’t want to deal with and was looking to create an incident to get rid of me. The manager has also worked actively to remove my review. Ended up staying at the Hilton property on Dana, where most staff were black and had no problems. Hilton did nothing but offer 10,000 points on my account saying they did not own the hotel. I also shared the incident with my colleagues at EPA and warned our out of town offices about staying here.

We had a pleasant 2-night stay. They were doing renovations to the third floor, so a few things didn't look their best, but the construction wasn't disruptive to our stay. The room had a few little problems (loose sink knobs, broken drawer), but they were minimal, in our opinion. The staff were very kind to the kids, especially. And the kids enjoyed the pool! Would stay again.

The Homewood Suite by Hilton property is a 10/10 experience. Late Friday evening I checked in with my girlfriend, being our first time there, wasn’t sure both properties were shared with Hampton Inn. The overnight front desk agent that was working September 26th was a phenomenal person! I don’t remember her name. But I think it starts with a J. I’ll say this her customer service was top notch. From the service to the breakfast lounge, every staff member was so polite and friendly. It made the environment feel more like home.

I arrived around 6pm and my pre picked room was not ready. I was told it would be 10 minutes and my room would be ready. 35 minutes pass ,still not ready. So , I gather my belongings (which i carried into the lobby ) back to my vehicle to make the event I was going to attend that evening. I called from the event I was at to check the status of my room . I was assured it was ready . Upon return to the hotel my check in at 11pm was still unresolved . After some heated discussion I was given a room . Not the one I chose for it's convenience to the elevator. (For physical reasons). I've stayed at other Hilton hotels with good service and staff. Homewood suites in downtown Cincinnati is the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel. Motel 6 and super 8 motels make this Hilton look like amateur day camp. Won't be staying here again and will tell my family and friends of my terrible experience at this location.

Our stay had its ups and downs. Arrival was congested and confusing, with no accessible ramp into the building and no luggage carts available. Thankfully, a helpful bellman assisted us. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, although we initially had issues with the A/C—fortunately, maintenance resolved it within 90 minutes. While the hotel is pet-friendly, there’s no designated potty area for dogs. We found a few small parks within a half-mile that worked. The location, however, was unbeatable! We loved the easy roll to Great American Ballpark, riverside paths, and nearby fun restaurants. Just a heads-up: the historic building means very small elevators. Very comfortable bed and pillows, spacious bathroom, work area, and kitchen. Daily breakfast from 6-10.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! …. So.. where should i start? the building is old, smelly and just old, they spent more money on the lobby than the rooms… You check in on the 2nd floor… valet is $42 a day.. just park in the parking garage it was $31.50 for an entire day.. on the weekends would be your best bet parking on the street is FREE .. in the garbage the service elevator don’t work so be prepared to walk down steps with your luggage…. I don’t recommend the hotel at all.. the 7th floor smelled like literal poo… No rooms have showers unless it’s an accessible room. the house keepers aren’t friendly. the break is ok. very basic.. it’s a terrible location.. there’s no place for you to unload your stuff… Terrible. won’t be back for sure.. this hotel is way below hiltons standards.. the carpets in the hall are dirty.. the tvs in the room are extremely small… 32 in tv… bring your reading glasses to watch tv… SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!

My favorite part were how high the ceilings were so you felt like you had more space in the room. I never heard anything until the last night when a family stayed and the kids ran around until almost 11pm, but this wasn't the hotels fault, just not as sound proof as I had hoped for an older building. The breakfast had a lot of choices, you could go between Hampton Inn and homewood suites for breakfast and choose which one you preferred. Also a great coffee shop next door and easy walking to places downtown.

Where should I start???? FIRST and foremost When my wife and I arrived we were looking for parking, we go in the parking garage and park, unpack our things WITHOUT a luggage cart and proceed to the elevators, NONE of them were working and told us to use the stairs, MIND you we had so many bags and extras for our stay, so we proceed to leave and circle the block 4 times for parking!! We asked the “valet” where would it be okay for us to park he told us across the street.. in the TOW ZONE, we finally find a parking spot and head in the hotel, there was one skinny luggage cart for all of our belongings.. we get on the elevator and the lobby is on the second floor, looks newly renovated so we were excited for our stay! We head to check in and TONYA at the front desk had a nasty attitude to begin with, she proceeded to tell us it’s an additional $50 for incidentals when I in FACT called and asked before we came, we go to our old, outdated, ancient furniture of a room and realize we had a tub.. I didn’t book a tub so we go back to the desk, mind you the room was on the 7th floor! we tell TONYA can we have a room with a shower, she gives us another room so my wife and I head to that one, we get in there to another TUB!! so we had to go BACK downstairs to the desk, at this point i’m livid, finally we get a 3rd room and it has a shower.. we go in and my wife and i try to unwind, the tv on the website did not say it was going to be a 12 inch tablet with no streaming services, so we had to go BACK downstairs to go to walmart for a HDMI cord, we get back and the remotes not working, at this point i’m annoyed with how this whole stay is going.. when i say i will NEVER book here again, that’s what i mean.. this has to be the most bottom of the barrel hotel hilton has, 0/10 would NEVER recommend!!

I ordered 3 rooms for a weekend stay as we use Hilton for most of our hotel stays. It is becoming more disappointing every time. Hilton standards are not what they used to be. One of the rooms was not ready until about 2 hours after check in time. The check in lines were so long that we missed our dinner reservations. One of the rooms was missing one of the back sofa cushions. In another room, one of the sofa cushions had a big hole in it and the stuffing was coming out. In our room the tv remote was sticky and when I cleaned it, the wipe was black when I finished. Breakfast was really disappointing. The food wasn't great and the plate and bowls were paper and the silverware was plastic. It was difficult eating oatmeal out of a paper bowl. We've used Hilton for many years and were always pleased, but the rooms in the last couple of years are dreary and need updating, especially the mattresses and pillows. When we need a hotel in a place we have previously been and the Hilton hotel was not good, we use another brand. So disappointing.

Takeout Restaurant
Eli's BBQ, located in the Columbia-Tusculum neighborhood of Cincinnati, is a well-known spot for delicious southern comfort food and classic American barbecue. The menu features hickory-smoked pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, green beans, mac n cheese, and more. With multiple locations across Greater Cincinnati, including brick-and-mortar restaurants and hubs inside Kroger stores, Eli's BBQ offers an inviting atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating options.
Loved this place. Their rib tips were amazing. The ribs were phenomenal. With excellent smokey flavors. Dry rub seasons was good, really didn't even need the BBQ sauce that comes with, which is also good. From staff lady was very friendly and helpful with recommendations of other places in town as I'm from west michigan.
John G — Google review
Pulled pork sandwich was excellent with great smoke flavor and plentiful. The jalapeño corn bread lacked jalapeño flavor but was great tasting and big portion. The loaded hot dog was well seasoned and flavorful. No seating inside the location as it is carry out only.
Raul R — Google review
It was not bad, just not what I'm looking for in barbecue. The smoked turkey sandwich was tasty and a generous portion. The ribs I was 50-50 on. I don't think the frying is necessary and doesn't add any texture or flavor while also drying them out a little. The mac & cheese and mashed potato sides were not good but not awful. Overall, I would not return here again by myself but if I was with friends and they were dead set on coming here I would give it another try.

We stopped here during our Findlay market outing. We heard so much about this place. We ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans. After checking twice on our order during the 20 minutes of wait time I again checked on our order and found it waiting in a hot box. Although the portions were large and looked appetizing the sandwiches were disappointing. The pork was dry and tasteless. I do not particularly enjoy BBQ sauce but found the sandwich inedible without it. The baked beans were a little too spicy for our liking. Because of the limited menu and our experience we will not return.

I loved that Findlay Market was a working market but for a place that sells food, there wasn't a lot of selection to eat, nor seating. After going up and down the market and outside too, we settled on Eli's BBQ. It was a good meal but it was difficult to find seating outside. I am glad there was a choice as to the number of ribs you can get, because two was enough for me. The dry rub was sweet already so I didn't use much of the sauce. It was also tender.
Kerrie C — Google review
I always made sure to judge a BBQ joint based on the ribs, burger or pulled pork sandwich. I got 4 bones and mac and cheese with 'make it dirty' for sides. They also gave coleslaw and sweet dip. It was so good, I didn't care that I had it on a bench by the street, it was a closed street by the findlay market. Really good place if you want to get lunch around findlay market.

When I want Barbecue, this is the place I go. Ribs are delicious. Baked beans are too. The mac n cheese not so good. Customer service is great. It's convenient right on the market. I highly recommend Eli's BBQ. I wish they would add another side dish; a salad, corn on the cob, or french fries .
Shelia — Google review
We ordered wings, mac and cheese, jalapeño grits, and rib tips. The best thing was the sauce that came on the side. Neat was very dry, overcooked or from last week.

If you're heading to Cincinnati, make sure to indulge in the city's iconic chili—it's a must-try! But don't overlook other gems like Camp Washington Chili or Empress Chili for a taste of this unique Greek-style delight. To truly immerse yourself in Cincinnati's culinary scene, consider joining Cincinnati Food Tours.
We had such a wonderful time on our Cincinnati Food Tour with our family and the other people in our group! Our tour guide, Ann, had so much information to share about OTR history and took us to 4 restaurants for delicious and filling bites--even some local beer!
Denise C — Google review
My family and I truly enjoyed our Walking Food Tour today in Cincinnati. We ate some really delicious foods while enjoying the cold beverages that accompanied the choice appetizer! And our tour guide was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable on the history of the city and its many well founded establishments!!

Barb was a great tour guide and hostess of the city! We did the OTR food tour and had a blast learning about a little Cincy history and got to try some great restaurants. I’m definitely going back to each spot to explore more of the menu, it was such a tease! Every restaurant was pleasant, had a great staff, and really accommodating. This tour is a great activity to do with friends, family, or coworkers. I’ll for sure be booking this the next time I have out of town visitors.

We had the BEST time on our Cincinnati Food Tour. We did the Original Findlay Market Tour and enjoyed such delicious food and hidden gems around the market. Anne was the most amazing guide, giving us history on the market, food, and Cincinnati in general. Would recommend to everyone!!
Liz O — Google review
This may be the best guided tour I’ve ever been on! There were 8 in our group and we all loved this tour. The food was great, the history and stories about Cincinnati and riding the streetcar were all great, but the best thing was our tour guide Anne Snyder. She was fabulous, so knowledgeable and friendly and organized and helpful. Not enough superlatives for Anne!
Kay C — Google review
I booked the 90 minute Findlay Market Tour for us and our out of town guests. It was amazing! Our guide, Heidi, was so knowledgeable and fun. The highlight, of course, was visiting the vendors, hearing their family stories, and tasting their delicious food and drink. I learned so much about my hometown, and how the history of Findlay Market is really the history of Cincinnati--and continues to be. Highly recommend!

What a fun, educational time we had on Wednesday, July 16 with the Cincinnati connector Food Tour. Our guilde, Anne was welcoming, knowledgeable helpful. The four local restaurants we went to had individual and homey atmosphere. The food was warm, flavorful, very yummy and so creative. Our chicken soup at at the French crust Cafe and bistro on elm Street was outstanding. The soup was thick with fresh chunks of chicken. I will definitely plan to take members of my family on this tour.

Barb was an absolute delight on the Hyde Park Food and Drink Tour! Beyond the very well organized tour and samplings of local eateries, she provided the group with a deep dive into the history of Hyde Park Square. Anyone considering this tour - or any other offering of Cincinnati Food Tours - should definitely go!
