This was a first visit to attend the Tower Grove Market. Parking on Saturday is really intense inside the park. It’s all along a single road one-way that requires parallel parking. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. I ordered the crab cakes and really enjoyed them they were flavorful and cooked well. My bf and I recently attended a concert at the venue in the back with multiple bands. Small venue (250 max) with a bar and very loud. $3 surcharge for minors. There's a great vibe here, but the concerts in the back are just a bunch of drunk adults being obnoxious and disrespectful to the bands trying to play. Cicero's is closing permanently on June 25, 2017 because the owners have died and their kids are selling the place. I'll miss this STL iconic. I'm hoping someone buys it and renovates it into a better concert venue and restaurant.

The waitress had us pass out our own water, was very rude when we were giving our food orders, came back with the wrong food an hour later for one person. When the wait was too long, we ask the waiter if we can get the bill because we had other things planned for the evening and some wanted to go. She had an attitude when some asked to take there food off the bill mind you we haven't even ate yet. Th e manager came out and was very unprofessional. Because some didn't want to pay for the food that they didn't even get she told us not to come back. She was rude and when I asked to speak to a general manager she told her staff, even when the gm was there, that she was in charge and what she says goes. I am thankful I hadn't touched my food. I had 2 business meetings this day and I couldn't change my location so I have to stay but my meal was ruined although I love there food and service, I will not be going back. The manager was quick to correct the problem, she offered to remake everything and wave the cost of the food. However my experience is ruined first by the roach and then when the bill came to my guests asking them to pay for their food after being told it was on the house.
