They started us with a ginger meal starter (it’s like an immunity style shot). Theres was definitely not the ones you buy in bulk. It was completely made in house and left you with satisfaction with the sweet, tangy, and salty flavor. Then, they brought out a cucumber salad that was very flavorful, salty, and a slight sweetness with a playful crunch in each bite. Next, they rough out two shareable dishes. One was a roasted red cabbage and the other was masa with black beans, salsa, and cashew yogurt paired together. I preferred the roasted cabbage and my husband preferred the masa. Both savory and fresh. Finally the entree round came and was pleasantly surprised and how good the entree was. I went out on a limb and ordered the egg plant. I’m never one to order egg plant at a restaurant usually as it will come over or under done, under flavored, and never leave you satisfied. However, the egg plant entree blew my expectations away after the waiter recommended it. It was perfectly cooked and had tremendous flavor and the textures were equally paired with the soft egg plant and chard vegetables. Would definitely order it again.
