こじんまりとした博物館。収蔵品数は多く無いがエジプトやアジア含む世界中の展示が楽しめます。2時間程度時間が出来たので丁度良い大きさでした。

2度目の訪問 駐車場が有料化されていた 絵画のコレクションは特筆すべきものはないが、古代ローマやエトルリアのコレクションはとても充実している 建物は元々蒸留所だった所をリノベーションしていてとても趣きがあるのだが、裏の運河と合わせて折角良いロケーションなのだから、もう少しアートな空間作り頑張れば良いのになあと思う

I loved sitting and reading the plaques that had exposition and backstory on the item it was attached to. I kept finding more interesting things to sit and research briefly on a bench provided. I easilly spent 3 hours there and honestly wanted to stay longer, but my paid parking was running out of time. With older kids it can be hard to find a place that each age range has fun and the Witte really fit the bill!
