Also the attendance is awful, at points only 4 people would turn up (myself included) and lectures were often called off due to low attendance. There has been a very depressing and unencouraging atmosphere. The lectures feel very jaded and unhappy. The socities are also terrible. The neurodivergent society in particular was not a welcoming or kind space for those who were neurodivergent. There was nowhere to go, no support and I felt completely alone, and still do. Another thing to note is that there are events which take place, such as graduation celebrations and others that are hugely disruptive to those of us trying to work. There is loud music playing, constant bag checks and huge crowds blocking entrances and spaces which makes coming in to lecturers impossible, especially as a disabled person. Once again as with everything else, the uni took zero consideration or attention to my concerns. Overall, I feel very unsatisfied with this uni. It's been incredibly depressing. Making me feel like a number or a statistic, giving money to a business rather than a place that cares about it's students learning and wellbeing.
