Beach club
Club
Solar Beach, located on Istanbul's Black Sea coast, is a well-known beach club that hosts live music events attracting a young and lively crowd. While swimming takes a backseat here, the calmer sea offers opportunities for beach volleyball, surfing lessons, and an outdoor pool for serious swimmers.
Solar Beach is one of Istanbul's premier beach clubs, located in Kilyos, Sarıyer. Adjacent to it is Kafes, a popular venue known for its vibrant atmosphere. At Solar Beach, children are generally allowed when accompanied by adults. It's advisable to check the specific entry requirements and any age restrictions directly with the venue before planning your visit. Both beaches offer clean, well-maintained facilities, making them suitable for families seeking a pleasant seaside experience

This is a very beautiful beach club. It has a big swimming pool as well. I only have two issues with it. The first one is that food and drinks are very expensive here. The second issue, and the main one, is the entrance fee. There is a sign at the gate that says 600TL per person for using the beach and the swimming pool. But the guys at the gate told us this fee is for Turkish citizens only. The sign doesn’t say that and there is no other sign showing the fees for tourists. The guys charged us 1000TL +5% per person if we pay by card. I paid for my two Turkish nephews 600TL per person without the extra 5% using my bank card. For the remaining of us, non Turkish citizens, I paid 1000TL +5% per person using the same bank card. When I asked them why they charged the 5% in the second case, they told me the POS machines they used in each time are for different banks. I believe these guys take advantage of tourists. Management should do something about this by displaying a sign clearly showing the fees for tourists. I don’t think I will be coming to this beach club again.

Super quiet when we went (weekday in July). It was windy but the weather was perfect. We didn’t order or eat anything so can’t say much about the service. The water was clean and cold and there weren’t any waves. We really enjoyed our time. Cost 800 try per person. No drinks or food allowed.
Fatima A — Google review
I was very disappointed with this beach. I had booked a tour from a pamphlet from my hotel. The hotel was nice enough to book it for me as a single male you cannot go to this beach facility. It's hey family only so i was put on another beach further down for men. They have barriers, so you don't go too far out to swim. The furthest you can go out is to about just below your waist. The lifeguards continuously blew the whistle to pull people back. It gets a one star for a cold beer. They have. I have included the pamphlet advertisement. They provide and nowhere, doesn't say anything about that. Solo males and you can see the big difference between where I was and what was advertised.
Garry K — Google review
It's a rip-off. We have booked a tour there with our hotel and I have paid 180 Euro for 6 people. The weather was windy and no one was allowed on the beach only in their small shallow swimming pool. I understand the safety concerns for the swimmers but I wanted to just walk on the sand and touch the water. No one said in advance that you cannot bring any food or drinks with you and the food inside is extremely overpriced, 400 lira for a portion of french fries. Half a cup of coffee is 200. Quality and service are not really there. When I went to the changing room, i just touched a door and it fell off which could have been an injury. Right next to this beach there is another one that does allow people in the water, allows to take your own food and is much more affordable. I feel ripped off, unfortunately this is a very prominent feeling in Istanbul, not very friendly.
Georg S — Google review
One of the worst places I have ever visited... I checked the place before entering and it did not mention that it is for adults only and I have 3 children. After paying the entrance fee, we went to use the pool and I was informed that it is for adults and children cannot use it. Why are there no prior instructions about this and why did no one inform me of this before entering? The prices of food and drinks inside are 5 times the prices in normal places. In the end, the service for the amount of money is zero. The place is bad, unfortunately.
NAEEM G — Google review
The beach is so lovely and well-maintained, with excellent service. Unfortunately, outside food and drinks are not permitted, but the restaurant offers reasonably priced meals. We have visited several times and it's always spotless. I appreciate the abundance of lifeguards on duty.

Nature & Parks
Suma Beach Club in Istanbul offers the perfect blend of California beach vibes and vibrant nightlife. By day, visitors can enjoy activities like Pilates and sunbathing, while at night, the beach transforms into a lively party destination with nonstop music and a dance party atmosphere. The club's unique psychedelic design adds to its appeal, creating an exclusive and top-notch experience for guests.
Beautiful beach! Nothing was open when we were there in early May but the beach and water were very nice! We took the 59RK all the way there from Bebek!
Ian T — Google review
The music and atmosphere nice, but there is no hygiene, the restroom and shower place was really bad. I paid 700 tl and i expect at least better shower place. I couldn’t use WC because it was so dirty.
Rahil N — Google review
A fun beach that is just 40 minutes away from central Istanbul. Suma Beach does not exist anymore and the place is now called Silver Plajı. The entrance fee on a week day is 40TL per person, not including anything. There is a car park I'd you're planning to drive, showers and free umbrella and bed. Food is decent but drinks are on the high end. Make sure to get your own towel with you. The beach/water us relatively clean.
Khaled H — Google review
The beach is fine although you can't go very far into the water. The lifeguards kept screaming over the intercom, but we were not sure why as we didn't understand the language. It felt aggressive. To get there you can take a metro to a certain point and then a bus to a university. From there you have to walk down a road to get to the beach. They have great pizzas and the drinks were good too.
Matthew — Google review
It was clean. The staff were polite and friendly. The prices were a bit expensive. Unfortunately food was not good at all. In general, we were satisfied.
Donya M — Google review
The place is relatively clean, though some areas need more cleanliness. It has a large sand beach with a couple of coffee shops and restaurants. It is a good beach to spend a few hours with the family on a hot sunny day.
Hadi S — Google review
Place is more like a slum but fun times are guaranteed regardless. Entry is overpriced 100 TL. Drinks are expensive and watered down. But yet still - you will get what you are looking for here. You dig ?

Beach
Aqua Green Beach Heybeliada is a great destination for a day out with loved ones. It offers water sports and a shallow coastline, making it ideal for active travelers. Accessible by a two-boat journey of about 1 hour and 45 minutes, the beach has separate sections for adults and families, although visitors can use either. The attentive staff are on hand to take orders for drinks and food, delivering them directly to your sun lounger.
Excellent beach to visit. You need to go by 2 boats which in takes approximately 1 hour 45 mins. There's 2 beaches 1 for adults and 1 for families but I'm sure you can use either. The staff there very helpful you just call them and order your drink or food and they bring to you, so no need to leave your sun lounger. There's storage lockers so no need to worry about your items being lost or may be stolen, but make sure you have id with you. I loved this beach because it was very clean and tidy the staff very helpful.
Kevin K — Google review
Family friendly doesn't mean family ties..it literally means that a man must bring along a woman. Also, entering separately is not an option. This is disturbing on so many levels.
Andrey ' — Google review
A bit run down last time toilet were cleaned looked like 2000. Beach lovely with cafe for beer and snacks
Nigel D — Google review
Just check these pictures and you will wish to visit.
M'hd N — Google review
I did love our time on the beach. The waiter (sorry I'm hopeless with names) was great. The reason for three stars is the lack of clean facilities. Toilets were in desperate need of good scrub, showers were so so. The biggest disappointment were the changing canines. Dirty ground and nowhere to put my bag. I will probably be back, but only because of my children. Also the very much advertised service to the port doesn't actually leave the beach club until half past five in the evening. I feel like there need to be an earlier one. There were quite a few people leaving around the time I did, so a boat at half past three wouldn't go a miss...

Wonderful island far from Istanbul city by one hour ride by boad
Pazhohesh S — Google review
The enterance is 50 tl and not good services. During enter they re checking all ur staff and distrubing to u with bad behavior. I was staying with my wife and we were at family place. While ı was going to bistro, the security asked me, ı can not enter to family place because there are families. Okey ı understood alteady ı am with my wife there. Also in middle of family place there were 4 man and they werent with any family, they were drinking alcohol in the bottle of water they were checking to woman with their eyes and with bad words. İncredible bad place. If you are really single ı can prefer that place 🤘If u re family no way, stay in ur home, is much better 🎉🎊
Mehmet C — Google review
one of the worst places i have ever been to. I was assured, before we waited 45 minutes for the boat to get there to leave, that there was a sandy beach, however this turned out to be about 15 metres of dirty, cigarette butt littered sand. The rest was concrete covered with septic ciggratte butt covered astroturf. The sunbeds were dirty, the tables were dirty, the floor was dirty. Everything was dirty. We were stopped, (after paying 35tl to get in), and had our food and water confiscated, and therefore forced to buy expensive horrible, unhealthy food (my burger was cold and looked like it had been constructed by a toddler on a speedboat, but with slightly less care and attention and joi de vivre). The beer was at least cold. This is the only thing that was acceptable. Worst of all there was constant terrible deafening music playing, not mixed, probably just an ipod playlist of one of the mouthbreathing staff. It was painfully loud and painfully bad (you could not listen to your own on a personal stereo because their music was so deafening) and absolutely nowhere you could escape it. It is entirely possible that the same people who run Aqua Greenbeach got their work experience at Guantanemo bay. Please save yourself from a horrific experience and avoid this place at all costs

Fish restaurant
Tırmata Balık & Beach is a laid-back restaurant with a private beach area, offering comfort food and affordable beer. Located in Sariyer, this popular beach provides a wide variety of dining options suitable for different budgets. The clean sandy beach and clear waters make it an ideal spot for families, with attentive lifeguards ensuring safety. While the entrance fee varies by day, visitors appreciate the friendly staff and overall pleasant experience.
We had a great day there! On top of the Black Sea natural beauty, we were welcomed with a beautiful and clean golden sand beach equipped with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The service is fast and professional, we had snacks and drinks, they were tasty, and served at our sun beds. The prices are higher than average, but it’s a tourism facility that works for a few months in summer so I understand. The staff are very friendly, always welcoming and smiling. There is an x-ray bag check at the entrance for extra security. No food is allowed from outside, but they didn’t mind entering with a bottle of water. Showers, toilets, and changing rooms are clean. The facilities are family friendly especially that the lifeguards are always alert. Some comments implied that it’s not a friendly environment for foreigners, but we felt the opposite. The entry fees are 700tl per adult and 300tl per child, and it’s worth it. Plus, they didn’t charge our 4 year old son. In short, highly recommended!
Layth S — Google review
This place is like a dream. We went for the breakfast, food was beyond delicious, atmosphere make you feel like you are in holiday, everything was clean, there is baby room as well and wheelchair access. Service 100 out of 10. The place is beachside and they have car park (you have to pay if you only using beach). If you in Istanbul looking place with peace and delicious food, you have to come and see this place, don't miss it.

Amazing Breakfast, Good service, reasonable price. Nice terrace with Good view. From outside looks a bit weird , all the way up to restaurant we will pass by one floor that maybe using for staff, so we will might be see clothes hanging for drying 😁what a view before Entrance to the restaurant 😂. Not a big issue , because their food are good, tasty. Also they have playground for kids so you can eat freely and your kids are playing 😁. Not so bad, Recommended.
Melinda P — Google review
A lovely beach restaurant right next to the Black Sea. To access the restaurant, one needs to pay an entry fee that includes access to the beach facilities (showers, WC, beach, rest.) and parking lot. The place was clean and well organized. Has a few lifeguards on duty. The beach has natural golden sand and the sea is shallow for about 500m, so safe for kids to enjoy the beach as well.
Tour K — Google review
A lot of jellyfish in the sea but not harmful, the sand must be more clean, not so bad If you bring cash with you would be cheaper , prices slightly expensive.
Reem I — Google review
Great restaurant, delicious food. But the price is too high in my opinion. Excellent service! Thank you!

Public beach
Blue Beach Büyükada is the largest and most popular island in Istanbul, offering a wide range of entertainment options and adventure activities for families and honeymooners. The beach club provides loungers, parasols, jet skis for rent, DJ sets, and a bar/restaurant. While it can get crowded in the summer, visitors can escape to the more secluded Eskibag area on the undeveloped southern tip of the island.
If you want to have a relax day, here you can find ir. Music, bar and restaurant. Nice service, everyone was nice and really kind. 1200 TL for 2 person.
Richard K — Google review
Many reviews speak about the price to enter (500 TL per person at the time of writing). The owner should highly consider posting the price at the gate so tourists don’t believe they are being scammed. Transparent pricing is incredibly important. 30 TL for a small bottle of water. I was told 200 TL for a beer. The few employees we had to speak with didn’t know English. There is no sand on the beach, it’s more like a swimming pool in the sea. The music is good and not too loud if you aren’t sitting right by the speaker. They had umbrellas, chairs, changing rooms, and toilets. My wife said the toilet is small and disgusting.
KMAB — Google review
The place left us desiring for a more clean water (adding photo evidences). Parasols, wifi, music included in the entrance fee, which is 600TL per person. Smokers smoking right lying on their chaiselongues amidst children, pregnant women and non-smokers, but I guess this is a common issue
Elena E — Google review
The elevator and wi-fi were working, the kitchen was good, and the staff were very friendly. There were hardly any people, so it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The beach could be maintained a bit better, cleaned from seaweed and jellyfish that’s why some people leave instead of staying. The price was 750 lira on the weekend, which is less than the neighboring beach that charges 900 lira for the same days.
Anna — Google review
It is an old dock with brown water everywhere. Drinks are 8 usd each. It's 20$ per person to enter. I would say this is quite possibly the worst beach club I've ever been to. Do not come here.
Taha M — Google review
It is a robbery. There is absolutely nothing, the maintenance is extremely poor but they still try to make you pay 15€ (750 lira) per person!!!! He is going to say all the beaches charge that but there is another one with a beach and a swimming pool nearby that is more worth it
Aroa L — Google review
Tourist trap, don’t let the photos fool you. 600 lira per person for an old rundown wooden dock that is mostly rusted. 200 lira for a towel if you don’t have one already, over priced drinks, unkept toilets with too many spiders, everything is in a state of decay and needs some maintenance. Charging that much for a “beach” is pretty insane. Not sure if you can find a better place to swim around here but I’d recommend finding one of you can.
Phenix E — Google review
The staff were nice and location was good. You can walk here fron ferry station. The water was not clean as in many cimments. Jellyfish also. The toilets were not that clean. The benches were good and clean. Cash only for the entrance but the bar accepts card. It is sbetter thabk nothing but it is not worth the price.

Heybeliada, the second-largest of the Princes' Islands near Istanbul, is a charming destination offering a mix of natural beauty and historical landmarks. The island is known for its lush pine groves, colorful redbuds, and well-preserved mansions. Visitors can explore the Greek Orthodox monastery atop a hill and enjoy the small harbor with its cafes. Heybeliada's beaches are perfect for swimming, while activities like rowing and sailing are popular as well.
This was the only island i visited while i was in Turkey. It took about hour from Eminonu harbor to Heybeliada. Despite it was Saturday the island wasnt full of tourist so you could really enjoy explorig neighbourhoods and nature around island. If you want to completeley go around island it takes you 2 hours walking but its worth of it. I got some information from guards protecting some kind of object and from local people. The orthodox church ineae harbour is also beautiful with lot of decoration and religious icons. The only bad experience was that the churchkeeper because he was rude. He didnt allow me to see the liturgy held that day, even i was behind the doors. The other one was kind.

An adorable island with lots of shops and food options. The 30-45 min ferry to the island was pleasant and schedules are posted on the island for easy planning. There is a scenic walk around the island and picnic areas overlooking the water. The locals are very friendly.

This is the most beautiful island of the Prince islands. It's worth of visiting all time but it's better to go during the week days to avoid the crowds.

One of the Prince Islands with beautiful nature and panoramic view of the Marmaras sea, from the top of the hill (which is existing a religious school and a Greek Orthodox monastery). Small cozy port which have connections with the other Prince Islands.

Florya Güneş Plajı, located on the shores of the Sea of Marmara in Istanbul, is a popular city beach known for its relaxing atmosphere and convenient amenities. Visitors can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and various leisure activities while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The beach offers facilities such as beach umbrellas, benches, and sun loungers for a comfortable experience. Additionally, there are beachfront restaurants where visitors can dine and unwind by the sea.
Went on a Monday, got there around 9.30. It was not crowded and rather nice. Entrance fee is 120tl, and for students 60tl, sun beds and parasol included. It was calm and not too deep though, but still be careful. You can't bring food, they will confiscate it and give it back when you're leaving... there a cafeteria to buy food from but I didn't try it. The only downside is the cigarette butts everywhere. There's a showed head outside, so you can rence off the sand but can't really shower since everyone can see.. and there's clean restrooms and lockers. The transportation was easy as well. There's a life guard watching.
Lina B — Google review
Paid urban beach – June 2025 price: 120 Turkish lira. You can pay by card or use an Istanbulkart. It’s better to arrive early—by 10 AM, there were hardly any sunbeds left. The beach has basic amenities: sunbeds, a decent sea entrance, changing cabins, showers, toilets, and a café. But there are major downsides. The toilets are dirty, with no toilet paper and a strong unpleasant smell. The café serves only low-quality fast food. The long line of locals at the lockers makes you question the safety of leaving your belongings on the beach. The biggest issue is the filthy beach The sand is covered in cigarette butts and plastic waste—I even saw several people casually tossing their cigarette butts into the sand. Nearly everyone smokes, so forget about enjoying fresh sea air. The water is no better, with floating trash like plastic and even hygiene products. The beach is overcrowded, the sea is shallow, and lifeguards won’t let you swim past the buoys. It’s also very noisy —people blast loud music from speakers, shout, kick up sand when walking, and smoke nonstop. If you just need a quick swim and tan, this might do (Istanbul doesn’t have many public beaches). But don’t expect cleanliness or comfort.
Alessia M — Google review
There are sunbeds but most of them are not usable. The sand is full of cigarettes. The sea is not deep but there is a lot of algae. The food they sell is sandwiches and burgers which are not worth the price. The iced coffee tastes bad. Overall, it is a good place but needs a lot of improvement.
Siraprapa P — Google review
entry fee was 120 TL, sunbeds were free, feels like an industrial area with all the boats jn the distance. Problem is with the water: it was full of seaweed-like stuff, loads of jellyfish, plastic, even cigarettes.
Kákonyi B — Google review
On the first glance, we were happy to see that beautiful view. But when you come closer, you can see a lot of trash in the sand. The sea is covered with seaweed and we didn't want to swim here. For sunbathing or relaxing, ok, just take spare blankets for cover because parasols are tricky. Entrance: 120 TRY

Great for: Family, Couples, Sunset Views, Photography, Relaxing Walks Florya Beach is one of the hidden gems of Istanbul, offering a peaceful escape from the city's fast pace. With its clean shoreline, relaxing walking paths, and panoramic views of the Marmara Sea, this spot is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy nature without going far from the city center. 🏖️ Beach & Environment: The beach area is well-maintained with soft sand and crystal-clear water (especially during summer months). It's a great place to sunbathe, have a picnic, or just sit and enjoy the calming sound of the waves. 🌅 Sunset Spot: This is one of the BEST places in Istanbul to watch the sunset. The golden hour over the sea is magical — perfect for romantic walks or stunning Instagram photos. 🚶‍♂️ Walking & Cycling Paths: There are long coastal walkways and bicycle paths surrounded by green areas. It's a safe and quiet place for families, joggers, and nature lovers. 🍔 Nearby Cafés & Restaurants: You’ll find plenty of places nearby for tea, coffee, or a meal with a sea view. Many locals enjoy their weekends here because of the relaxing vibes and easy access. 🚗 Transportation & Access: Florya is easily reachable via Marmaray or Metrobus. There is also public parking available nearby. 🧽 Cleanliness & Safety: The beach and surrounding park area are usually very clean and well-patrolled, making it suitable for families with kids. 💬 Final Review: If you're in Istanbul and need a calm, beautiful place by the sea, Florya Beach is the perfect getaway. Highly recommended for a day of peace, nature, and unforgettable sunsets. 💙🌊🌅

It’s crowded!! I recommend to go during the weekends and arrive early to reserve a tan bed. The water has a lot of algae not the best but it’s convenient for tanning . The Istanbul trip would not be completed without visiting this island, absolutely worth visiting there. It has a different vibes. i liked it a lot
Akram R — Google review
This is a must see when you’re visiting Istanbul. Get a ferry from Kabatas (T1 tram, Adalar from the main terminal, the massive modern building - NOT fake Adalar to the left of the petrol station where the man with loudspeaker will direct you but they don’t accept the Istanbul travel card and only have a couple of sailings. Ferries every hour and the journey takes just under 2 hours stopping several times on the way at Asian side and smaller islands. The island is a haven away from the bustle of Istanbul. However, we visited October when the tourist numbers are diminished - in high season it’ll be busy. I stayed for a week in 1981 and again in 1993 when even in August, tourist numbers were manageable, so this was a trip down memory lane. We nearly stayed again on the spur of the moment with some hotels being reasonable (2k/3k TL in October). Walked to the mosque at Nizam, looking at the beautiful wooden houses and flowering plants, then on to Asiklar. The fitter and more intrepid and those of an Orthodox persuasion may care to visit the Greek Monastery high on a hill in the middle of the island. Caught the bus back to Adalar, using the Istanbul card to pay and ate lunch one road back from the sea front at Pelikan - very reasonable compared to Istanbul and excellent fish. Then cake and tea in bread shop just further down. It’s a short stroll around the main town from where you can catch an Adalar Lines ferry back to Kabatas or island hop on the local ferries and pay cash like we did (much cheaper than using the travel card for one stop as you’ll pay to go back to Istanbul for each hop as tourists can’t use the refund machines). When you’re ready to go back to Istanbul, catch the Adalar lines ferry from your last stop… Great views of the massive expansion of Istanbul on the Asian side out and back, a mini cruise and plenty of sea air. The island is hilly so unless you’re reasonably fit, catch a bus. In the old days you could get a donkey and trap but those days (and the farting donkeys) are a thing of the past.

Büyükada is such a peaceful escape from Istanbul’s chaos! No cars, just bikes and electric carts, which makes it feel super calm and charming. The sea views, old houses, and fresh air make it perfect for a relaxing day trip. Don’t skip the lokma , ice cream and ferry ride totally worth it! 🌸🚲🌊
Maria M — Google review
I don’t really know how people “escape from Istanbul” here, because of its Extremely touristic place. Visiting on Saturday, all the roads were full of tourists, restaurants and local businesses are mostly oriented to take as much money as possible with the least good service. Nature and architecture is really good, but it looks like a background for touristic photography only, because of there are lines of people doing photos only, not enjoying and really watching the place. Bicycle rent, which is advertised all over is totally not useful there, because of an island is full of up and down roads which make impossible to ride a bike for more then 10 minutes for a anyone not being professional sportsman. The place is too overrated, don’t recommend.

Bamboo Beach, also known as Kilyos Beach, is a serene and pristine sandy stretch located near the Kilyos village, just 41 kilometers away from Istanbul. This hidden gem offers golden sands and shallow waters perfect for swimming. Visitors can relax on sunbeds under umbrellas while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The beach is an ideal escape from the city's hustle and bustle, providing a luxurious weekend getaway with top-notch cafes and resorts nearby.
All the beach around the coasts are owned by the restaurant and you have to pay to enter. When you pay, you will find you will get a sun bed and you will have nice showers available, toilets and a lifeguard. I believe this place is suitable for kids and families because they have restrictions where you will not be able to swim properly as it’s less than a 4ft. Apart from that black sea salinity level is quite low which means the sea is not quite salty.😜
Ashish L — Google review
Avoid this beach at all costs. Worst one Iv ever been too. It’s full of litters and cigarettes butts. They don’t maintain it at all. And the dirty beach really impacts your mood. We paid 900 to get in but they won’t let people use the beach umbrella because it’s too “windy”, meanwhile some people were allowed. The staff were not friendly. It’s not women friendly either. There is a zone full of empty chairs for men, and there is a zone for mixed genders. I was asked to leave the mens zone but no women only zone for me to go to. That’s it. I recommend Tirmata Balik & Beach just a few minutes walk away where staff were friendly and amenities are well maintained.

Minimum viable beach with poor service. Unwelcoming people, price still okey. The beach is clean, still if you want to swim, you’ll be disappointed as the space limited for swimming is too small and the water not deep at all (probably nice for children).

This is a unique place: you are sitting under the trees on a separate island with a beautiful view during sunset and to the city of Istanbul. Food was very good, I really enjoyed the richness, taste and the variety of the food offer. Service was awesome. I cannot speak about prices, as I‘ve been invited.

It's a magnificent sea for swimming, surrounded by greenery. But I can't say the same for the managment. The beach cushions are covered in seagull poop, the woodwork is unpainted, the beach beds are so crammed together that you become relatives to the person next to you. The staff has bad quality clothing. But the prices rival Monaco's and nice fine beaches.

Here is a great escape from the hectic city with a great ambiance, perfect seafood, very good service and great beach. I recommend the seafood of the day to be checked apart from the restaurant menu, they have lobster and giant king prawns if you are not too late to catch.

We have been there with our group of friends. It’s a magnificent location with great sea, fantastic view and excellent service. Staff were friendly and helping. Unfortunately the taste of food was average. This kind of place , considering the high price level as well, deserves a much better taste. Also it was disappointing to see that almost all sun lounger cushions were dirty or stained. It’s a place we love to spend time at and I hope they would seriously consider these constructive criticism of ours.

The territory is dirty (there is litter all over the place), staff are nowhere to be seen, one them told us to leave an empty cabana we found claiming it’s occupied and gave it to some chick that arrived after us, the swimming area is ridiculously small and most of it is knee deep, the water is clear but you can see a thin film of spent fuel floating on the surface, the music is awfully loud (to give you an idea: we went there on foot and we could hear it loud and clear when there were 10+ minutes left of walking till this beach club) I don’t recommend and I will not be coming back

Guys at the entrance suddenly changed prices as soon as I started to speak englisch (I first asked in Turkish) and added 120 TL to the entrance fee. Probably the furthest you could stray from misafirperverlik, Türkiye is well deserved known for. The water itself is full of seaweed and it's not deep although ofc refreshing. The music is for dancing, but they played the same songs allover again. Felt like a tourist trap or definitely overpriced. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. One reviewer said there wasn’t much to do here. That was kinda the point. We decide to “head to an island” at short notice on our last day in Istanbul and thus we didn’t actually have a lot of cash on us (became important later). Dashed down to Karaköy and paid the 150 TYL (cash only) each for the ferry (we thought it was return: again important later). We chose Kinaliada as it was the closest and we didn’t want to spend more of our time on the ferry. Was GREAT that the ferry was no smoking. A pleasant change for Istanbul. Our main intention was to walk. So we started out counter clockwise around the north then west side. When we reached the private club at the end we started the climb up. Over the bluff. Yes it was a climb but it was, in the end, the easier option (see later). Ended up at Noya Beach resort (see specify review of that) for a swim. On our return route we had thought we were going to simply complete our circumnavigation but we stopped to look at the very helpful map opposite the resort and we noticed the monastery listed at the top of the ridge between where we were and the dock side of the island. While again, yes, it was a climb, it meant we got to look at the views which also meant that we saw that the south east “beach side” route was ugly and litter strewn. So the climb was worth it. The monastery was nothing special from the outside (and only open until 1230). The descent down to the dockside was _steep_ and would be (as others have reported) a nasty climb. Also, as others noted, taking a bike would not be worth it either as, because if the steepness, you’d have to walk it a lot of the time. We were glad we chose Noya beach as far less crowded and more pleasant than the beaches on the dock side. Note… all the beaches are rocky. Water shoes recommended. We found a seat in a park in the shade to await the return ferry. The returns only started from 4pm onwards. When we presented our tickets that’s when we found they were not return. Fortunately we had noted the nearby _sole_ ATM on the island just in case and it accepted our Wise card and so we could get cash to pay for our return. A prefect last day in Istanbul.

Yeşilköy Çiroz Beach, situated in Istanbul, is a popular public beach offering two sea inlets, 500 chaise lounges, and umbrellas. Visitors can enjoy music while soaking up the sun. The beach provides a beautiful view of the Bosphorus and is relatively close to a mall. However, some visitors have noted that the area needs better organization and cleanliness due to seaweed and litter left behind by other beachgoers.
Very nice beach with park 🏖️ The territory is very big, has bicycle trails, walking area, park. The beach and areas around were clean. There are also restrooms on the territory. Great place to get away from the city for a bit ✨

I've got no idea how this beach got 4 stars. It's awful! No sunbeds, tents or umbrellas, no showers. Shallow water, buoys are just 3 meters from the sand. And 20 minutes walk from the bus stop.
Татьяна А — Google review
The beach is nice, close to the park, the water is clean, but people lack education - they leave garbage on the beach and cigarette butts. Google shows access through areas that are closed, you have to walk a lot from the main road.

Beautiful beach with park. A pathway is stretched along the coast of the rocky beach with 2 crescent-like sand beaches. Amazing to visit and watch the sunset. Also relatively close to the mall.

Nice beach, not far from the city center with big park and walking area around. The water is clean and there are toilets too.

+ The beach has a beautiful view and is safe for swimming (no sea waves as it's a lagoon), there's a toilet, park and basketball court and exercise equipment nearby. Few food kiosks and an arcade are located within 10 minute walking distance. - BUT there's no cabin for changing!!! How!! Where do local residents change after swimming though?

Non Stop Beach truly lives up to its name, offering a continuous array of activities for visitors. From water sports and beach volleyball to tennis and basketball, there's no shortage of things to do here. As the sun sets, the beach comes alive with evening parties and concerts. This expansive private beach also hosts open-air performances and provides ample dining options at bars and restaurants. Families will find plenty to keep the kids entertained as well.
We had so much fun..good beach...you can bring good and beverages..the water is great...good
Thapelo E — Google review
We had to pay 100 lira on a Saturday to get into the beach. The sand was covered in cigarettes and plastic but the sand was nice and soft. We swam in the water for an hour and enjoyed it. Lots of algae and seaweed but we got used to it - it’s natural. The swimming area is pretty small. They have bathrooms, a shower and changing rooms they’re just not very nice and smell. If they cleaned up the beach and improved the facilities it could be a great beach
Sammy R — Google review
We didn't get charged like others have complained about, but this is not a well cared for beach front. The concrete sidewalk is caving in, and the beachfront is quite small. Perhaps I was there at high tide? There are some good restaurants in the area but if you're coming for the beach, keep moving on.
Jeffrey N — Google review
It’s cheaper than the other beaches, 60 TL on weekdays (bring change cuz if they don’t have it it will just be awkward until you say “keep it it’s fine”) The toilets and sun beds are in very bad condition. The beach is clean enough, but not good for swimming as you can only go a bit further before the lifeguards start blowing the whistle. Recommend if you have small kids, if not, don’t expect to swim there. Oh also no good food to buy there, but before
Lucille A — Google review
pros: you can swim in the sea cons: everything that you paid for was bad. dirty toilets, dirty dressings rooms, unusably bad shower (one showerhead, that barely drips any water), barely any shade its as expensive as any other one, but by far the worst. go to any other one in Kilyos.
Sámuel O — Google review
Entrance fee was 70 TL. Clear water and Sandy sea side were the positive points about there. When you pay money you expect some facilities and services, but you should pay for entrance and .....! You have to pay 30TL for one 30cl bottle of beer it means for buying something you should pay double normal price. I don't recommend.
Kamyar V — Google review
Weekday entry ticket is 60 Liras per person (July 2022). Services include about 6 changing boxes, horrible toilets, some showers, and especially hyperactive lifeguards who will prevent you to go further than about 8 meters from the shore (and on some parts it is much less than 8 meters). At that distance is water at your knees, so swimming is absolutely impossible. If you want to swim and to enyoy the Black sea, chose another beach without hyperprotective guards. Deckchairs are in rather poor conditions as well as the sunshades. Sea is quite clean, but don't be surprised that sometimes you can encounter a jellyfish. The beach itself is clean, yes, there is a wrapper here or there, but it is not worse than any beach in Italy or Spain. In summary, Non Stop Beach is a good option for families with small children but not for someone who wants to do any water sport. I chosed the lowest rating because I did not enjoyed the stay here at all.
Petr A — Google review
The worst beach I've ever entered in my life! It's so dirty, you can't even see the sand because of the cigarettes All the sun beds are broken Full of uneducated people, they are just throwing trash all over the place No one is making lines, i can say it's just a pure mess!!

Büyükçekmece Beach is a popular resort located on the western side of Istanbul, drawing large crowds during the summer months. Its main attraction is the 15-mile coastline along the Sea of Marmara, complemented by a scenic walking path. While it can get crowded, especially on weekends, visitors appreciate its humble and cozy atmosphere. The area offers various dining options, from street food to restaurants serving Kumpir.
Very beautiful place for family times. Please try to avoid weekend days because it's too crowded.
Syeda Y — Google review
Very lovely beach, everyone minds his own business Visited on weekend, not very crowded as other comments say, like literally the whole area is a beach area you will always find an empty spot Just one negative thing, the beach line was full of algae guess this is nature, it can be cleaned though
Nour — Google review
Beautiful place and sea, but the beach is incredibly dirty. Tons of cigarette butts, plastic and household garbage that no one removes, like algae along the entire beach area. A separate word about the rental of sun loungers and umbrellas. The company that provides these services is extremely unprofessional, both in particular for employees (being rude) and in terms of inventory (chaise lounges: coffee covered, dirty, old; umbrellas torn, shabby;). Strongly do not recommend.
Solnyshko78-78@gmail.com Ф — Google review
Used to be great. Now sand is full of garbage. (Municipality used to clean whole seaside sand at the morning ) also there are full of sunbeds which requires money to use and you can't find nice place to put your beach towel and rest. Every corner is taken by little companies which is like mafia. You wouldn't even wanted to hear immigrants on the beach. I live here and I hate to visit the beach
Kartal Y — Google review
One of the more humble and somewhat cozy places to visit in Istanbul. You may have some nice street food as well as slightly overpriced Kumpir in the restaurants around. If you don't mind the drive from inner parts of the city, this place might be worth the visit every now and then with the family.

🌊 One of the most untouched and beautiful coves of Burgazada. It takes around 20 minutes of scenic walking from the pier to get there. 🌿 Along the way, you’ll enjoy island views — and upon arrival, you’re greeted with silence, nature, and clean water. 🚫 There are no facilities, cafés, or showers at the cove, so it’s best to come prepared. But that’s exactly why it’s so pristine. 🧘‍♀️ A true hidden paradise for those seeking a peaceful, crowd-free seaside escape — especially tranquil in the mornings.

Marhaba 👋 I wanted to share with you the wonderful view that greeted me on my recent ferry ride to Prince Island. While I wasn't planning on spending much time in the area we passed by, it looked like a lovely place for a stroll, especially since I saw many people swimming in the crystal-clear water. If you're planning on visiting this area, I highly recommend bringing your own swimming accessories as prices for such items on the islands can be quite steep.
Adham — Google review
First of all, this cove and island is really beautiful. But this beach club is so gross, outdated and they are over charging. *they only take cash* and you have to walk about 10-12 mins down the hill to get to the beach. We also didn’t see a bathroom. I personally would t recommend this place
Toree A — Google review
Nice, relatively quiet beach that is not too hard to reach, although only by foot; on the north, there is a sign by the road that leads to the beach at 20 minutes' walk from the harbour, and from the south there is a clearer path, closer to a bus stop. There is a lot of garbage on the beach and in the water and the pebbles are not comfortable to sit on. But it is a nice place to get away from the crowds in the city
Ian W — Google review
The beach itself is nice. Water is mostly clean, but there some moss and seaweed. No sand, but there are no sand beaches in this area, so don’t expect that. Part of the beach is reserved for those who wish to rent sun beds and beach umbrellas. This part was the dirtiest both onshore and in the water. Expect to pay tourist prices ~300-500 lira per bed. The beds are plastic and quite uncomfortable. Kind staff and there is a small kiosk where you can buy refreshments. Don’t use the toilet unless absolutely necessary!
Tord D — Google review
The beach has a very pretty view but it's a very rocky beach. If you don't have proper gear, like watershoes, you can easily cut or bruise yourself or slip. The hike down is also kind of steep and slippery (I went after a rainy day). Regardless, the sunset was beautiful and had a wonderful time!

Beautiful beach, wasn’t crowded at all when we went there (mid-May), just locals and us. Beer was 40try at the little beach bar and they had free sun beds all over the beach. Beware of the jellyfish, there are quite a few of them at the shore but I did not get stung by any when I even touched them by accident. A local told us that they are harmless but it’s never wrong to be careful. Lots of cats on the island, keep in mind to check when the last ferry goes back to Istanbul/wherever you need to go!

For a paid beach (200TL per person) I would expect a cleaner beach with no algae and with soft sands. You are also not allowed to bring your own food. No swings there as some pictures showed a swing. I loved the stones. They are not rough.

Uzunya: one of the good getaway points from the city. Pros: beach is nice ,in summer very crowded You can have beers etc. There is good meatballs, bbq served Cons: also the entrance fee for beach and parking fees are too high enough to change your mind and get back where you came from.(applies in summer period) The restaurant has also very different price policy please ask before the prices before you order avoiding late minute surprises.

An outstanding beach. We paid 60TRY per head for entry, which was reasonable when taking into account the grassed rest area, bean bags, safe supervised cove for swimming and diving platform. No picnicking allowed, but the Restaurants offer a variety good food at Istanbul prices.

The entry fee of 300 TL is absolutely ridiculous. Even in France and Italy paid beaches are usually cheaper and cleanliness and services are much better. Teos Kınalıada Beach & Restaurant is a popular beach club located on the picturesque Kinali Islands, known for its warm customer service and tranquil waters during the summer. The facilities include clean toilets, changing rooms, and an outdoor shower. The beach offers a peaceful and intimate setting away from Istanbul, with clear waters despite being rocky. The Greek-style restaurant provides quality dining experiences with fresh and delicious food options at reasonable prices.
We rented 2 lounge chairs for the afternoon and had a very nice time. Staff was friendly and the food/drinks were good. Only downside was the price but for the atmosphere and location it was understandable. Would recommend!

The best place in Kınalıada by all means. Delicious food, amazing location, lovely staff. My favorite getaway place from Istanbul for 10 years. They just keep getting better every year.

Lovely relaxing afternoon. We looked at the cheaper facilities but they definitely were not up to the same standard. We paid 500tl for two people and thought we got excellent value. Salad was the best I have had in 7 weeks travelling around Turkey, service great - nothing to complain about.
Alison T — Google review
The food was very tasty - we had grilled sea bass, it was wonderful. But! waiters were just a disaster. The restaurant was almost empty, but we waited for anyone more than 10 min. No one offered us drinks or menus. I even had to talk to the manager, cause only she spoke English well.

Very peaceful, nice, clean Cafe, restaurant, and beach with great staff and very good food. The water is really clear but the beach is all rocky. Just so you know. Oh, and if you are going for the sun and sea, the loungers are half price on weekdays. The seafood is a tad on the pricey side, but the rest of the menu is reasonably priced compared to similar places. Overall, the food is fresh and delicious.

Teos is a true gem! By day, it’s a vibrant beach club where you can relax on a sunbed, swim in the sea, and enjoy delicious lunch and cocktails—everything served with a smile. In the evening, it transforms into a beautiful seaside restaurant with a fantastic selection of fresh fish and other dishes. The atmosphere is magical, the service is top-notch, and it’s perfect for both locals and visitors. Highly recommended!

One of the best places in prince islands. Very secluded and on its own. Sometimes a little full but reservations will do you good. It’s a good place for raki and balik. If you come by boat there are also places to moor your boat in front of the place.
Derin B — Google review
It is the only place open in winter. The beach is beautiful and located 600 meters from the pier. In hot weather, walking might be difficult, so you may prefer to take a vehicle.

Noya Beach is a stunning beach club that has undergone significant improvements over the past two decades. The beach water and grounds are exceptionally clean, providing a pristine environment for visitors. While some reviews mention the high prices and food quality, these seem to be common in many establishments across Turkey aiming to maximize profit. Nevertheless, Noya Beach offers an enticing experience with its refreshing waters, fantastic music, and relaxing lounge chairs or cabanas that afford excellent views of passing boats.
Getting to the beach was maybe the worst part - we walked and google maps took us through an uphill path that was exhausting. Don’t do our mistake and take the bus- or the longer walking route. The beach club itself was nice. It was calm and quiet (a weekday). We didn’t order anything so can’t say much about the food or the prices. The entrance fee per person is 700 try which includes sun beds.
Fatima A — Google review
When entering the beach our bags were rudely searched, our food was taken away and all our drinking water was poured out. Because of this the impression of the service was spoiled. The staff walked around and made sure that no one ate anything of their own and did not drink from their own containers. The water in the pool is very salty and it seems that the sides of the pool are smeared with something strange, because a slight allergy appeared on the body after touching the sides. The entrance is 800 lira on the weekend, but we could not get to the beach on Sunday, there were simply no places and the music was terribly loud. So we had to go back on a weekday and this experience was completely ruined due to the terrible service.

Perfect end to our time in Turkey. Dashed to a ferry at the last minute to head to Kinaliada to escape the crowds and noise of Istanbul. I’ll try and find where to post more about the island in general elsewhere. We ended up at Noya beach because we wanted to go for a walk. So we started out walking counter clockwise around the west side of the island. Was the wiser move (see the other reviewer about which way not to walk:). When we got back to the dock we noticed that the resort had a desk there and we had seen their electric cart pass us while we were walking. So if you really don’t want to walk.. (no idea if there is an additional cost though). It cost us 750 TRY ($25 Canadian) to use the resort which included lounge, umbrella and use of both the protected beach area and the swimming pool. Best money spent. Yes there is a free beach area adjacent but all the beaches on the island are rocky and we didn’t have any water shoes. The resort has pontoons which enable entry to the water (to either the open water or a pontoon protected area) without having to dance on the rocks. And then we could lounge on the lounges and shower before changing for our walk back. We also ate there. Yes a little expensive for what we ate (a salad and a “fry” pack”) but given that everything would have to be ferried to the island, was perfectly reasonable. And would argue that this is the best beach on the island. On the other “dock” side were narrow beaches with chairs jammed in “like an infirmary” (as another reviewer said:). So if you want to escape the crowds and swim, Noya beach is the pick. And if you want to spoil yourself a bit.. choose the resort. As others noted: no towels. This would have made it 5 star (we had our own pack towel)

I recently visited Noya Beach and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is great, and the staff (except for one incident) were incredibly helpful and friendly. They offer a convenient transfer service, and the team was always ready to assist, even helping with our baby stroller every time we needed it. However, there were a couple of downsides. There was a particularly rude staff member—a muscular guy—who was harshly searching through guests' bags for food and even shouted at some of them. It was really off-putting. Additionally, the music at the beach was excessively loud, to the point where several guests, including myself, found it uncomfortable. Another issue was the pool water, which wasn’t as clear as I expected. Despite these concerns, the majority of the staff were wonderful, and the overall vibe of the place is nice. With a few improvements, Noya Beach could be an even better destination.

It’s a peaceful place , it’s totally free and no charges of just visiting, if you wanna take a place seat towel or something like that you gotta pay , otherwise there’s no entry fees , not many people around , you can do swimming in summers as well , there’s no sand beech but yea it has activities like you can collect seashells there , you can also do BBQ , the view is great surrounded by mountains and sea infront , there are cafes restaurant private swimming pool and restrooms as well , the beech is located on Kinaliada , one of the islands of Istanbul, you can go to the island by taking a ship from Istanbul, preferably from kadikoy bostanci or uskudar , you gotta take off of the first island, Kinaliada , it’s better if you walk on the island from there to the opposite side to reach Noya beech , the view on the way is great and also some old turkish style houses with many types of flowers , I visited the place the day it was a bit windy , the place is best for sunny day ,

Staff were friendly and attentive. We swam in the sea, and ate the margarita Pizza and Noya Burger which were all really tasty. The watermelon and melon slices were also really refreshing. It’s a good beach club and a nice escape from the bustle of the city. The toilets were a bit smelly upon approach but they were kept clean by the cleaning staff.

I recently spent some time at Noya Beach and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The vibe is incredible, very relaxed and welcoming. The entire staff was so kind and attentive, always making sure everyone was having a good time. A special shout-out to Sabrina, who was wonderful. She was so friendly and provided great service, really adding to the positive atmosphere. I highly recommend Noya Beach for anyone looking for a beautiful spot with genuinely good people.

An oasis in Istanbul. I love coming here. When you consider the prices hotels charge to use their pools in Istanbul this place is incredibly reasonable. The site is well maintained, fantastic pool, the staff are lovely. It’s in a cove so the sea is calm and good to swim in. I come here regularly in the summer and would recommend.

Riva Beach, located in Beykoz near Istanbul, is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The beach offers a clean and sandy shoreline where visitors can enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear sea and bask in the beautiful sunset. While it's an ideal spot for a day trip with family or friends, it's important to note that water cleanliness may be affected on windy days.
A great beach for a day trip! Entrance only 30TL and 150TL for a chair or umbrella. By far the cheapest you can find on the Black Sea. Good for a swim, although there was a lot of seaweed. We went on Saturday and it was not too busy. Taxi from Istanbul cost around 700TL.
Aryo H — Google review
It’s exactly as you would expect it to be as a public beach. It’s a huge area. Entrance fee is 30 tl. Very crowded. Send is dirty. The water was full of algae. Parking is 100 tl but as we stayed less then 30 min, we didn’t pay

Caddebostan Beach, situated along the Marmara Sea in Istanbul, offers a serene escape into nature. It is renowned for its stunning beauty and provides an ideal setting for a leisurely day by the sea. Adjacent to Dalyan Park, visitors can also partake in activities like cycling or taking a relaxing stroll. While some have noted that it may not be the cleanest beach and caution against theft, others appreciate its central location and accessibility.
The place was overall pretty good, if you choose to swim its not too shallow, theres lifeguards and places to change, scenery is good. Sometimes, however, it gets a bit crowded and the sand isn't the cleanest... I would maybe give it a 3.5 if I could
David B — Google review

Very dirty beach, and the park near the beach was also very dirty. Almost all the sunbeds were broken. All the good reviews were from a few years ago, but now, unfortunately, the beach has been transformed into a junkyard. Everywhere you look on the beach, there are cigarette butts, paper, and plastic bottles scattered in the sand.

➕Affordable price: 10 TL per chair and 10 TL for an umbrella ➕An almost clean beach ➕Has two small takeaway cafes, one of them just has some drinks, the other one has snacks, mini burgers and one or two more things ( snacks 7 TL, can juice 4 TL) ➕lifeguards are there to protect ➖Small changing rooms ➖public baths ➖Do not rent an umbrella when it's windy cause it doesn't stay in one place and you have to watch it all the time:)) ⛱

On 28th September the umbrellas and seats where already gone but also the paying. Free entrance to the beach which is nice but has a lot of old cigarettes in the sand. Water was clean and some plants growing in it. Watch out for broken glass there to not step into it. Some people don’t know how to leave a place in a good way and therefore some damaged bottles lye around
Kevin W — Google review
Pretty nice paid beach. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas available, even on a Saturday. Clean sand and clean water, snacks and drinks available on premises, life guard on duty. Cordoned off swimming area was pretty narrow and not too deep, but enough to swim in
Tania E — Google review
Access is 120 lira that you can pay by Istanbulkart or by any credit card. You can then use any available chairs and umbrella. The beach is sandy but narrow. There are algae and stones in the water. The water temperature is still quite cold in late June. To drink and eat you have a beach bar with normal prices. There are cabins where you can change your clothes and some showers, but no toilet that I could see.

Live music venue
Babylon is a renowned live music venue located in an atmospheric old brewery that has been transformed into a superb performing arts space north of Taksim Square in Istanbul. The venue boasts a stripped-back-to-brick interior and sophisticated lighting, creating an ideal setting for performances by national and international artists across various genres such as jazz, indie, world music, and electronica.
I've been here to see Emancipator, and it was such a great night! I’ve been waiting for this band to come to Istanbul for ages, and the venue made it even better. The atmosphere was amazing, the sound quality was spot on, and the ticket prices were really reasonable for the experience. If you’re planning a visit, here are a few tips: Parking: There’s limited parking around the Bomontiada area, so I’d recommend using public transport if you can. The Şişli metro station is nearby, and it’s just a short walk from there. Arrive Early: If you’re early, there’s plenty to do in Bomontiada itself. It’s a vibrant spot with restaurants, bars, and art spaces, so you can grab a bite or a drink before the show. The vibe is really cool, and it adds to the overall experience. Commuting: If you’re coming from further out, taxis and rideshare options are also convenient. Just leave a bit of extra time for traffic – it’s Istanbul, after all! This venue is one of those venues that makes live music feel special. Whether you’re there for a big-name act or a smaller band, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a great night out. Better with friends. Highly recommend it!

Today, I went swimming here, took a short tour in my own inflatable kayak with my friend, and then finished the day with a small picnic. The sea was quite clean compared to the Black Sea, and the waves were moderate, but it's wise to be careful. The beach is quiet and surrounded by nature, making it ideal for those looking to escape the crowds—until it blew up on Instagram. Don't forget to bring an umbrella, chairs, and food and drinks; there are businesses nearby. I highly recommend it for those looking for a natural escape. The beach provides clean water at a fair entrance price and is located near the island museum.
We liked the place because of the sea side view and really good decoration of the garden. Did a lot of photos, and had a good meal. We were happy to stay there. The toilet is lil bit nasty, but for such far place maybe it is okay.

We were looking forward to a nice sandy beach but instead walked into a dusty beach that looks like a construction site. As you walk into the ocean it is impossible to dodge the small and sharp rocks, and the water doesn’t go deep enough to just swim. Cafeteria is basic. Staff were really nice but unfortunately would not pay 500 TL to go back there
Shiefaa H — Google review
This place is a huge scam in my opinion. This beach is pointed as public in google maps, but is fully private and costs 20€ a person to get in. Bus trip costs 93 LT a person (only one-way). Do not expect to find any public beach on any of these islands. Water here is also full of seaweed and sand on the beach filled with pieces of glass.
Mathias L — Google review
We spent two days at the beach and really enjoyed our time. You’ll pay 400TL on weekdays per person and get a sunbed and umbrella. It’s one of the few sandy beaches which we really liked. Also there were two lifeguards and they were very attentive. Two things that could be better: squad toilets for the ladies which weren’t in the cleanest condition. And some mattresses for the sunbeds. Overall we really liked it!
Denise S — Google review
I couldn’t decide which beach to go to because you can find bad reviews about all of them 😂 so I went there a bit cautiously. I went on Friday and arrived around 1:30 PM. The full-day sunbed rental with access to all facilities cost 400 TL. I tried to negotiate, but no luck :( They also said there’s no option to “just swim in the sea without using a sunbed” — the only choice is to pay 400 TL and use everything freely. The beach actually has some quiet and peaceful spots. I first chose a sunbed near the entrance, but the neighbors were very loud, so I easily moved to the far end of the beach and enjoyed peace and calm there. This is a huge plus that you can freely change sunbeds. The sea was lovely. Some parts have almost no rocks, while others are a bit rockier — but overall, it was great. Surprisingly, the food was really tasty! I had a hamburger and some tea. The prices were also quite reasonable — hamburger was 250 TL, tea 20 TL. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I felt really comfortable. Overall, I liked everything. Yes, 400 TL isn't the cheapest, but compared to a wild beach, you can really feel what you’re paying for. Thank you for a lovely experience 🤍

We paid 600 TL per person, which included a sunbed and umbrella. Unfortunately, the sunbeds were very dirty and disorganized, and most of the umbrellas were broken and scattered on the ground. There was no staff around to assist or manage the area. Also, there was an aggressive stray cat on the premises that actually scratched and injured customers, which was very concerning. They offer a 50% discount for students, which is appreciated — but overall, the experience was quite disappointing and didn’t match the price paid.
Shima A — Google review
Random woman named Heti asking for a for a entrance fee of 200 lira per person. Once we objected she directed us to the cafe and we ended up paying 150 lira per person. What did we pay for you may ask? We paid for the use of the disgusting squatting toilet. After using the toilet, now where do you wash your hands you may ask? As there was no running water. With our dirty hands we had to run to the sea and use the sea water to wash our hands. Now the question is, are our hands more dirtier than before. After making a fuss and using the entire bottle of hand sanitiser we made a prompt exit. Do not come here as the beach, the people and the facilities are nasty. My 1 star equates to 0 stars!

The worst beach ever! You shouldn’t go there if you expect clean sand, good service and nice rest. Definitely not recommend.

Restaurant
Best Corner Fish and Meat House is a popular spot for those who enjoy halal food, offering Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines. The restaurant is known for its delicious falafel, a famous dish consisting of deep-fried balls made from crushed legumes and spices, often served with hummus. Located near the Blue Mosque, the restaurant boasts friendly staff and excellent service. Guests can savor tasty meals and delightful Turkish desserts like baklava.
Amazing food just around the corner from the blue mosque. Staff is very kind and service is extremely good. The food is tasty and highly recommended. The desert is very very nice .. Turkish special baklawa . One of the best ones on the restaurant.
Nagaveena N — Google review
It's nice place as many other nearby restaurants, but more expensive than most restaurants around. Also, meat especially Kabab and kofta are too tough to cut, sometimes because it's not fresh or too long frozen, or cooking way. Portions are small.
Habib — Google review
Good size portion and if you are not targeting for upscale restaurant, then good place to jump in. Meat was tasty, rice was not warm enough. Service, nothing to complaign about. Tip is included in bill.
Normunds R — Google review
Very friendly staff, tasty food. Not too expensive compared to the surrounding restaurants. Great outdoor seating.
Izzet T — Google review
I give two stars, because the view was nice and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The service, along with the meal and price was horrid. My girlfriend and I had lunch here in December of 2017. I ordered a Turkish style ravioli with minced meat inside, instead what I got was ravioli drenched in plain yogurt with what seemed like single beans on the inside. The overpowering taste of yogurt destroyed the dish and when I addressed the host, the response was "that's the Turkish style". After asking other Turkish restaurant owners, I got told that I was ripped off and that the authentic one is nothing near what I got, nor near the price I paid. We were fooled by the view and friendliness. The experience in my opinion is really not worth it.
Marcus A — Google review
Americans beware. They will rip you off. Man that looks like manager or maybe even owner was rude and saw i was done and wanted my check, I asked. He continued to stand around the bar and do nothing. He speaks English so I thought maybe he'd be nice. Boy was I wrong. I ordered chicken cabobs and glass of orange juice. Total price 53TL price he charged my card 92.40TL He was lucky I had an appointment on the Asian side soon because otherwise I would have demanded my 40 TL he blatantly stole from me. This just happened today. Also highest priced restaurant I've been to so far. And I've eaten at a restaurant every night.
Jessica K — Google review
I have to say I was a little disappointed by this restaurant. The man who served us was very nice and all the staff in general were polite but the food was lacking in quality. The chicken wings and the chicken kebabs were cold and had a burnt taste to them, the calamari was buried under mounds of oily batter and the chips were drenched in oil too. The place was also very cold an we sat there shivering until we asked to move to a spot near the heater. The service was slow and we got our food very late considering there were only two groups of people there. Lastly the bill was enormous. 400 Tl (lira) equivelant to £100 for a somewhat lousy dinner. Their attitude was good but their food leaves room for improvement :(
Sadia J — Google review
The best place to have sea food in Istanbul. Very friendly staff, they even play the music you like. Delicious deserts and even better Turkish coffee and all of that while having this beautiful view.

Beach
Halik Koyu Aile Plajı, also known as Halik Koyu beach, is situated near the Aya Yorgi Church on Buyukada. It is considered the cleanest and longest beach on the island. Visitors can rent sunbeds and umbrellas and enjoy snacks at the bar and restaurant available on-site. The beach can be accessed by an electric bus from the main pier or a ferry ride that takes about half an hour from Istanbul.
It's a very nice place. Very positive experience. It costs 100TL per person for transport and chaise lounge+umbrella.Tthere's is a boat that takes you from the Büyükada pier. The beach has a bar and restaurant for food and drinks. The prices are very reasonable. (60TL for burger and fries, for example). The staff keeps the beach clean from see weed, which is nice. In general, very friendly people. The only thing I would recommend is yo bring rock shoes for swimming. There is no sand. The beach bottom is made from rocks.
Alex D — Google review
A generous three stars. Have to get a little bus from the port, 15 mins and then another 25 minute walk and then some really steep steps down. 300 lari entry. Not sure a beach would say more like a pier with sun beds. Sea was rough with lots of Algae and rubbish.
Adriana E — Google review
We visited  the plajı in July, the entrance fee was 700 TL, includes a chair and an umbrella. The beach itself is beautiful and okay not fancy, just average and has a shower and changing cabinets. There were many people and kids swimming it was fun and safe However, we had one issue at the snack/drinks kiosk, we ordered some drinks and chips, but then changed our minds in the same moment, asking for just chips and water. The staff had already prepared everything before confirming with us!🫤 Worst of all, the cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional!!! When we tried to adjust the order politely, she literally kicked the papers and slammed the cash register like a child! 💀😭 She should be fired cause you're getting paid from us not the other way around with this attitude!! And you're working at a spot where everyone should be relaxed! We paid and took the order with no adjustment and left because we were too relaxed to be bothered from such a person with anger issues 🤣 get some help honestly ..
M A — Google review
We stayed for one afternoon here. Yes you have to go down the stone stairs, but you can also access the beach via boat shuttle. The price is 500TL per person and you’ll get a sunbed and umbrella. It’s a stone beach, but definitely okay for a afternoon.
Denise S — Google review
Nice beach, clean water. A lot of sun beds and umbrellas. You can get here by ferry, 1/2 hour ride. Ferry and beach enterance is 4-5 euro. For this price you get free umbrella and 2 sun bed. Beer is 3 euro, coffee 2,5 euro. Ferry goes back every hour, and price is included. Beach has public toillet, showers and all paths are layed with wood panels. Verry good for day on the beach, away from Istanbul noise and crowd.
Dejan K — Google review
A beach that is open a bit earlier in June 2024. Entry was 300 lari and good prices for drinks. Does take a bit of time to get down to the beach.
Kajus O — Google review
Please don’t even try to go here!! The rude guy who “owns” the beach tries to overcharge. 1000 TL for 2 persons, that’s crazy. There is a nice beach for free near here.
Honami S — Google review
DONT COME HERE!!! Extremely bad attitude fat guy who thinks he "owns" a natural beach, charges you more than 500lira just to enter and extra for the sunbeds, if you think about coming to this place. Don't. Go down the road 10 minutes and you will find a nice private beach which is free and doesn't have greedy scammers trying to take your money for nature.
