⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am currently staying at the Kempinski Hotel Istanbul (Çırağa Palace) and I must say I am very impressed. The customer service here is exceptional, every detail is noticed and taken care of with such kindness. The food is also outstanding, truly some of the best I’ve enjoyed while traveling. What surprised me the most was the thoughtful gesture from the staff. They noticed my glasses and left me a cleaner and wiper. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, but no one has ever done this before. It’s a small detail that shows how much they care about their guests. This hotel has exceeded my expectations, and I’m enjoying every moment of my stay. Truly a five-star experience!

As we are about to check out a bit later today, it is one of those feelings when you are eager to go home but also sad to leave a truly remarkable place. There are many places around the world that leave a mark and touch your heart but Ciragan Palace is...just wow. The palace is absolutely stunning, the garden is impeccable and the sheer grandiose of the whole property is a sight to behold. It's soaked in history and it must be experienced. But this is not the most important part. The PEOPLE make the difference. From the cleaning lady who surprisingly spoke our language and generously left us a whole pack of water (I drink a lot of water and the 3-4 bottles usually at disposal are never enough), to the wonderful butler who brought me breakfast after mair hair transplant as I was not feeling okay showing in front of other guests, to every single person of the wonderful restaurants (Gazebo, Bellini and Tugra) and the amazingly polite security staff, ...everyone was welcoming, smiling and warm. We even had a nice chat with one of the managers, Mr. Mesut Erbas about the hotel and my hair transplant...just the level of personal touch is astonishing. And although, to a certain degree, you take this as granted in a place of this caliber, everyone went far and beyond what we expected to make us feel welcome and at home. Gladly, in six months time we will be back to this gorgeous city and no doubt, we will be guests, or at home in fact, in Ciragan Palace again. P.S. Try to beat this view

This is 2nd time we were at Ciragan Kempinski. Our stay was exceptional. Check in fast and professional, lady in red polite and helpful, cleanness very high level, concierge service amazing, lobby area and bar awesome, rooms comfortable, toiletries superb. We will come back again, for sure!

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve visited. The rooms are stunning, the views are spectacular, and the service is outstanding. The traditional Turkish breakfast does not disappoint and fuels you up for a great day in Istanbul. The Bosphorus view rooms are worth it for the amazing view.

During my recent four-day stay at the Kempinski Istanbul, I was initially most impressed. The housekeeping service was of exceptional quality – meticulous attention to detail, impeccable presentation, and a standard of care that reflected the reputation of the property. Regrettably, an incident occurred that overshadowed what was otherwise a remarkable experience. On the third day, upon returning to my room, I discovered a visible dent with a sharp edge on the metal casing of my laptop. Having used the device earlier that day in perfect condition, and knowing it had subsequently been handled during room servicing, I could only conclude that the damage must have occurred during this process. What proved most disappointing, however, was not the incident itself – as accidents are human and can happen – but rather the manner in which the matter was addressed. When I approached Customer Relations the following day, I made it explicitly clear that I was not seeking compensation or material redress of any kind. A sincere acknowledgment or an apology would have sufficed. Instead, the issue was dismissed following a denial from the housekeeping staff, despite the fact that my laptop had consistently been repositioned and arranged by them throughout my stay. This response, regrettably, fell short of the standards of accountability and integrity I would expect from an establishment of Kempinski’s standing. It is not the occurrence of the mishap that left me disheartened, but the absence of candor and the unwillingness to extend even the simplest gesture of goodwill. *************** In response to the management’s statement, I would like to clarify an important factual inaccuracy. It is not correct that I was present in the room during the cleaning process. I briefly entered the room only to retrieve my mobile phone, which I had forgotten, and then stepped onto the balcony to take a short call. I left approximately two minutes later and was not present while the housekeeping staff conducted their work. In fact, I was rather surprised to find the door to my room standing wide open upon my arrival. I entered without being acknowledged or questioned, and the staff member did not verify who I was. This lack of basic security protocol was concerning, as it would have been possible for any person to enter the room unchallenged. I consider this clarification necessary, as the hotel’s official response implies circumstances that are not accurate. While I appreciate the courtesy of their reply, the facts of the situation should be presented truthfully.

This hotel is considered – and I truly believe it is – one of the best in the city. The room was beautifully designed, the staff extremely helpful, and the amenities exceeded expectations. However, I couldn’t give it a perfect score because on the first night there was a wedding held in a nearby room, and the noise was quite disturbing, making it difficult to sleep. At this level, and for the price point, I believe the hotel should take greater care to protect its guests' comfort and ensure that such situations are either prevented or better managed. It’s a matter of maintaining the standard that matches its reputation and cost. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and I would still recommend it for a high-quality stay.

I stayed at Ciragan and overall it was a great experience - the service, food, venue, and location were all excellent. I especially appreciated that they had plant-based options available for breakfast. Not too many or with protein but it did the job. That said, one part that didn’t sit right with me was that they keep peacocks in a small enclosed space on the property. For such a beautiful palace hotel, it felt like a big miss to be doing this in 2025. It doesn’t align with the otherwise thoughtful experience, and it makes the place less vegan friendly. I hope they reconsider this practice, because everything else about the stay was really wonderful.

We stayed here for a few nights and everything exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the room was spotless and very comfortable, and the atmosphere of the hotel made us feel completely relaxed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and the service was fast and friendly. Overall, this hotel really knows how to make guests feel special. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Pera Palace Hotel in Taksim. The room was elegant, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making our stay truly special. The service was outstanding from start to finish. A big thank you to Manager Akin, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. The entire staff was excellent, and we especially want to recognize Kemal and Anil for their exceptional hospitality and kindness. This hotel offers not only luxury but also genuine warmth and care from the team. Without question, the next time we visit Turkey, we will be staying at Pera Palace Hotel again. Highly recommended!

Had a couple of cocktails at the fabled hotel cocktail bar. The decor is sumptuous and all you’d expect of a genuinely historic venue - very classy with lots of dark red velvet and wing back armchairs and sofas that invite you to lounge. For this alone, it’s worth visiting (and bragging rights to have had a drink at Agatha Christie’s fave Istanbul hotel. However, the quality of the cocktails is mixed - one of the four we had was a stand out. The rest were passable. But have had much worse in far less salubrious environments so do go and enjoy the ambiance.

This hotel is magic. I’m biased because my parents had their wedding here, but the stores between the walls of this place are endless. Its history in a hotel, the staff are delightful and the decor and interior preserved with care and delicacy. We stayed in Hemingway’s room with a stunning view of the Golden Horn at sunset, enjoyed a delicious high tea. I wasn’t incredibly impressed with the evening meal, but it sufficed, and the location is excellent for walking the streets of Pera and Beyoğlu. A night to remember.

Boutique, comfortable, and very elegant hotel with excellent rooms and designer service. Pricey but authentic quality. Fantastic location for getting around town, but staying outside of the most touristy areas. It is at the top of a hill, so you have to walk up a bit from public transportation. Most of the people staying here take cabs or private cars. Nice gym with a couple of treadmills, bikes, and basic equipment.

We joined the afternoon tea at Pera Palace Hotel, which takes place daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The sweet and savory buffet was delicious and beautifully presented. The price is 2,500 TRY per person, with an additional 10% service charge. Guests attending the tea are also allowed to visit the famous Atatürk Room free of charge. From my many experiences in many hotels, I see that the Raffles Istanbul Hotel is considered the best of these hotels in many aspects. First, it has a very distinguished and sophisticated team in dealing, especially in the reservations department, and their manager, Mr. Karam, is a sophisticated person in dealing. Also, this hotel has several distinctive features, including that it has a mall with most of the international markets and it has very beautiful restaurants. From my experience, I advise everyone to visit this hotel, and I do not forget that their rooms were very beautiful and provided a wonderful view. I thank the Raffles Istanbul team very much for this wonderful service.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a so-called 5-star hotel. The overall cleanliness was terrible – dirty trays, unclean tables, and a general lack of hygiene everywhere. The waiters were extremely slow and barely understood what we asked for. In the room, dishes were never properly washed, glasses were not changed, and the service was nowhere near what you would expect from a luxury hotel. To make things worse, during cleaning, a staff member broke a very expensive perfume bottle. We reported it immediately to the front desk and even asked them to come see the room and smell the fragrance to confirm. Instead of handling it professionally, the receptionist refused to check and later the duty manager told us that there was “no smell” and that the cleaner denied breaking anything – essentially blaming us. Completely unprofessional. I refused to continue discussing this with them and asked for the hotel’s general manager instead. Finally, the hotel manager personally came, handled the situation very well, apologized sincerely, and removed the cost of the perfume from the bill. She was the only professional person in the entire hotel. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not 5-star service – dirty, unprofessional staff, poor communication, and unacceptable handling of issues. The only good part was the head manager who resolved the matter at the end.

We stayed at one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced — Raffles Istanbul. I was there on business, but since it was our 5th anniversary, I brought my wife along. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. As a wonderful surprise, our room was beautifully decorated to celebrate our special occasion. I've been staying at this hotel more than once a year for a long time now, and honestly, I'm surprised every single time that the service quality is even higher than the last visit. Especially when you consider that the exact opposite is usually the case in Turkey, the staff's attention and care getting consistently better each time is truly impressive.

Positives : 1.staff are exceptional your first contact on arrival is the concierge/doormen ..they are so welcoming helpful and respectful . All staff are great and the cleaning staff work immensely hard too 2 .hotel and spa is high end luxury cant question that 3. Very clean, and there is a second team of staff who come round and check the cleaning staff have done a perfect job 4.the isokyo restaurant served the one of the best Japanese food ive experienced my mouth waters just thinking about our food we ate in our last night ..the waiters are brilliant they knew the menu and tailored our meals for us 5. We stayed in premium king which gave us butler service ..my butler Nafisa was lovely and tended to any if our needs NEGATIVES :1. location its not near the tourist sites and taxis sometimes were hard as the traffic deterred them from accepting the jobs so we had to walk a certain place to avoid traffic congestion so taxis would come 2.we arrived from airport and arrived at hotel 9pm having travelled 10 hours from door to door and felt very tired and restless ..when checking in we were not offered a welcome drink or anything which I found strange in such an expensive hotel to have that few minutes to gather yourself ..I also found the reception staff struggled with our English accent not that I have a deep accent as I was so tired I just kept my conversation limited 3. We stayed in premium king which had a huge terrace all the way round but what you are not told is that the gail force winds make it impossible to go out there ..it took two people to shut the patio door due to the force of the winds ..so having the extra terrace is no point really 4.This was the most shocking for me ..I am a practising muslim born in the UK having suffered first hand prejudices and islamphobia so for holidays we choose muslim countries so I can feel free and not judged for my faith . I am a hijabi woman and want to feel free to express my choice of dress. However I was most disturbed when I requested for all the alcohol in my room to be removed as I prayed and do not permit alcohol in my own home i did nt feel comfortable having alcohol in my hotel room ..however instead of it being removed the alcohol was taken out of the minibar and locked in the drawer in my room ..I asked why cannot be removed I was told its hotel policy..I have stayed in various hotels in England and my requests for no alcohol in my room was never an issue ..I was never forced to have it kept in the room I slept and prayed in ..I stayed in a hotel and spa in England which by no means was in the same league as the Raffles but for a restaurant staff (non muslim) in that hotel recognising my religion I was stopped from ordering a dessert as it had a non halal ingredients ..I was so impressed that this hotel understood respected and trained their own restaurant staff to understand what is halal and what is not to be able to advice their guests ..raffles hotel is certainly not in their league in this respect as it takes more effort and training staff to understand different cultures and religious background needs of their guests..so to be forced to stay in a room with alcohol as a practising muslim in a hotel in a muslim country was astonishing and offensive. It was too late for me to find another hotel and ruin all our plans and go to the stress of it all ..in the end we spent our days out and about and returned just to sleep ..it does sadden me to have to take away a negative experience when everything else was so perfect ...With such a policy in place I think if you are a strict practising muslim if you want to stay at raffle you will have to accept your stay with alcohol albeit locked in your room. It has taught me a lesson not to take for granted that hotels in muslim countries automatically cater for Islamic values.

Great hotel with a beautiful lobby, with direct access from the shopping mall. We were there in December and the Christmas decorations were fun, without being too over the top!

This is a beautiful beautiful hotel. The customer experience was very good. The location is very great. The staff were helpful The breakfast was good. The rooms were exquisite. Generally, the hotel is abit expensive compared to others but worth it. I would definitely return. Well worth my money! Davin the Customer Experience Manager was delightful and attentive. I would definitely return to this hotel.

There are no words to describe the impeccable service we received from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The hotel is very well located, right next to the Dolmabahçe Palace, on the Bosphorus waterfront. Breakfast was very diverse; the only downside I would mention is that they didn’t have decaffeinated coffee. However, they did have a special menu for egg-based dishes, which I really appreciated.

A truly lovely stay from start to finish. Its central location made exploring the city easy, though the lobby could use some improvement—it felt a bit plain and lacked the warmth or atmosphere you’d expect from such a well-regarded property. With a few added touches, it could better reflect the charm found elsewhere in the hotel.”

Not really worth the price for what you get. It’s a very hyped-up and glamorous place, but the service doesn’t quite match the image. The building itself is stunning – the lobby, rooms, and gym are beautifully designed. However, there were some disappointing details. Upon arrival, no one helped us with luggage (although they did assist when checking out). Our room (#50) was very noisy on Saturday night with music playing until 3 AM. The air conditioning was uncomfortable – it blew directly onto the bed, and if turned off the room became too hot. Some amenities also felt below standard: the kettle was in very poor condition, and the bathroom door actually fell off and had to be fixed. The sink was very small, with no space for personal items – perhaps a small side table could help. Laundry service also failed: I left clothes in the provided bag with a note, but nothing was cleaned, which was surprising. Another thing to note is their photography policy – guests are not informed upon check-in that photos are not allowed. If this is important to the hotel, it should be mentioned clearly. At the same time, the atmosphere didn’t feel private in the evenings, with large groups of people walking through the property for events or the restaurant. We also visited the lobby café, where the service felt a little unfriendly and distant. Overall, the design and ambiance are impressive, but the service and attention to detail leave room for improvement. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.

I am a member of the club and I have been in Istanbul for 10 days. The hospitality at the SoHo House Hotel is spectacular. The vibe is relaxed. Everyone is friendly, professional and they go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed. Seyma has served me most days and she is friendly and remembers my order. Mahmut makes a perfect flat white - every time. I cannot recommend it enough!

Absolutely stunning stay at Soho House Istanbul. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the mix of history and style. The building is breathtaking — full of character, high ceilings, and beautiful details everywhere you look. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and perfectly designed for comfort. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive without ever feeling over the top — they made everything effortless. The rooftop, the club spaces, and Cecconi’s are all incredible — great energy, great people, and that signature Soho House atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. It’s easily one of the most beautiful Houses I’ve visited — a perfect mix of heritage and modern cool. Can’t wait to be back.

They wanted to charge €155 for an airport transfer that costs €35. Was told upon check in breakfast was included and it was not. The room was dated and not upset in terms of maintenance. Below is the email sent to the hotel after they made unauthorized charges to my card. First of all, as already explained to the front desk, we cancelled the transfer from the airport upon arrival and confirmed with Soho house in addition to the transfer company via whatsapp calls so we are not sure why we are being charged for that. Secondly, we were told the breakfast was included upon check in, otherwise we would have either ordered it from room service or just ate locally as we are not big breakfast eaters. At each breakfast we were never even given a slip of paper to sign for what we ordered (and sometimes we didn't even receive items we ordered anyways- even on our last day we didn't receive a fruit bowl we ordered). This just confirmed to us that breakfast was indeed complimentary as in every other hotel we stayed at we would need to sign for the items ordered were we actually to be charged for them. This personally leaves a very bad taste in my mouth because of how dishonest to not confirm and sign for items ordered, and even more so after we were told breakfast was complimentary. Thirdly, the room we were assigned came with daily challenges that we communicated several times to the front desk during our stay. The room furniture is a bit dated, dirty and worn. I refused to sit on the sofa without placing a towel over it because it was rather disgusting. The phones never worked during our stay, which several technicians come to our room to repair to no avail, the bathroom floor literally floods to the point we used every towel on a daily basis to soak up after every shower which quite frankly is very unsanitary to say the least (again this was brought up to the front desk throughout our stay). We were told these issues would be brought to the General Manager and they would see what they could do to relocate us but nothing was done. The price of the room does not reflect the quality whatsoever. The hotel responded by saying the transport had a 24 hour cancelation policy when it was booked and canceled within a 2 hour pick up time. There was no mention of the room conditions and all of this is over a $549 disputed charge. Now I see why this company is fading fast, they are so cash starved they rip customers off for short money. A billion dollar company fighting over $549, what a joke. I'll stick with Marriott Bonvoy from now on.

Beautiful property, but shocking hospitality experience. Even though Soho House Istanbul is a stunning property, hospitality is ultimately about customer service and guest experience and that was unfortunately very disappointing. Despite having a confirmed Booking.com reservation, we were told there was no record of it and were asked to cancel it and book directly. Since we booked without a cancellation option and we were already charged it would mean paying double. A lady at the reception, who we later learned is the Client Relationship Manager, was rude, condescending, dismissive, making us feel very uncomfortable. Thankfully, another receptionist took the time to help in a background and manually checked the system and found our booking which she should have done in the first place. Even after finding the booking she continued treating us bad and called me ‘manipulative’ when I asked to speak to her manager. A senior manager stepped in hearing how we were treated especially on a day of my partner’s birthday, he apologized, and upgraded our room and later sent us a birthday cake, which was really appreciated. Still, the way we were treated especially by someone in a customer-facing role left a lasting negative impression. We expected a much higher standard of hospitality from all employees in a brand like Soho House which prides in an outstanding customer experience.

Mixed experience. The gym and spa are definitely the standout features with an excellent range of equipment. We knew the hotel was in a busy area, so we weren’t expecting complete silence. However, the room was extremely noisy due to night club and roof top bars, and the balcony door of our room didn’t seal properly which made it significantly worse. If you are there to party, this won’t be a problem, but we prefer to be back by midnight and up a little earlier. When we asked to change rooms, we were first told nothing was available, then only a basement room, but after persisting, a more suitable room suddenly became available — not a great experience. Breakfast was okay. However, we were surprised by the costs, even for the area. We bought a premade wrap for lunch and were charged AUD $20 — very overpriced for what it was. The taxi organised by the hotel to Old Town was also well above the standard fare (something other reviews have noted too). The lobby had a persistent cat urine smell which didn’t create the best impression. Overall: excellent gym, decent breakfast, but questionable service practices, pricing issues, and noise concerns.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price Don’t be fooled by the high price tag — this hotel offers very little in return. The rooms are shockingly small for what you pay, and to make matters worse, access to the rooftop bar is restricted unless you’re a member — something they fail to make clear upfront. To add insult to injury, the staff weren’t honest about the policy. When we asked about the rooftop, we were told it was “too busy” — yet our friends with membership sent us photos showing it was nearly empty, with most tables unoccupied. There’s simply no reason to stay here. Within 50 meters, you’ll find hotels with better rooms, better prices, and staff who treat guests with more transparency and respect.

I truly appreciate the warmth and hospitality of your team, which is one of the reasons I chose to stay at the Ritz-Carlton. However, I specifically booked my stay here to recover from a hair restoration procedure, and unfortunately, the level of noise has made it impossible to rest or relax. The concerts have been extremely loud, and because the windows are not soundproof, the noise carries straight into the room. It was so disruptive that I could not sleep or even enjoy watching television. I had expected the Ritz-Carlton experience to reflect the serenity, comfort, and world-class standards the brand is known for, but this situation has fallen far short of that. When I brought the issue to the front desk, I was only offered earplugs. With respect, this is not a reasonable solution — especially in my recovery state, when I simply needed a quiet environment. No offer was made to move me to a quieter room or provide an alternative arrangement. Additionally, I sent an email to the Director of Guest Experience explaining the matter, but I never received a response. I found that disappointing, given the seriousness of the disruption. This experience has been deeply frustrating, and it has affected my recovery and my overall impression of the property. It’s not about the money — it’s about the principle. I believe it would be fair and consistent with Ritz-Carlton’s standards of excellence to issue a credit toward a future stay, whether here in Istanbul or at another Ritz-Carlton property, as a gesture of goodwill and acknowledgment of the inconvenience. We had a fantastic stay at the Ritz Istanbul, we were greeted at reception in a very warm, welcoming, gracious manner and immediately offered champagne, I finished my glass while we were checking in and they offered a second glass which was very nice! The staff at the hotel are excellent, they understand customer service! We dined at the Turkish restaurant and the Italian restaurant at the hotel why we were staying and both were fantastic. Breakfast at the hotel is overlooking the wonderful bosphorus to the Asian side of Istanbul and is an inspiring start to the morning. Can’t wait to come back!

The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul stands out for its professional and friendly staff — even the housekeeping team speaks English fluently and communicates with great courtesy. The room was clean and comfortable, and it overlooked a famous football stadium; during my stay, there was a major match taking place, which added a unique and enjoyable experience to the stay. The food was good and varied, and the location excellent with a beautiful view, though the entertainment and leisure options in the lobby are limited and could be improved to better match the hotel’s luxury standard. Overall, it was a refined and pleasant stay, definitely worth repeating with a few minor improvements.

We did a cruise on the Bosphorus Strait which separates Istanbul into 2 continents, Asia and Europe. There are some very nice sites along the shore including the last Palace of the Sultans.

I visited Istanbul in 2022 and took a ferry across the Bosphorus for a very affordable price to go to Kadiköy for my cousin’s wedding dress. It was such a nice moment,the view was stunning and there was even a singer performing ,making the trip even more enjoyable. Had a beautiful experience in the Bosphorus area and cruising through it. We did the cruise in the evening time from when it was bright under the sun till it got dark and the shades changed into night lights. Would definitely recommend, both sides of the Bosphorus have lots of iconic monuments and views to watch out for.

Great experience at the hotel’s restaurant, Sabrosa. The team really went above and beyond to make my experience satisfying! First, the cocktails were great. My margarita was beautifully presented in a martini glass. Then, the spaghetti bolognese- the first plate was a little ehh. I felt so honored when the chef came out to personally get my feedback. I’m an American - we like heavy seasoning. Lol. The chef told me he’d trained in New York and would personally remake my dish. It was WONDERFUL! I felt like I was back in Rome. Last, the service was phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The manager came out to make sure I was happy before I left. A special thank you to Kerem who was so kind and helpful. I will definitely return to enjoy the great food, drinks, and service!

A Wonderful & Elegant Lunch Experience. The Swissitel Bophorus is a wonderful place to stay when in Istanbul overlooking the harbor. We missed the very popular breakfast, but the lunch did not disappoint. A wonderful combination of Turkish & European fare, the Sabor Restaurant had beautiful salads, grilled meat selections cooked to order and an impressive choice of pasta and traditional Turkish dishes. Our waiter, Emerson was helpful and attentive and answered all of our questions. If in Istanbul, dont miss tge Swissotel and Sabor restaurant.

Had a wonderful 5 day stay. Room on the 11 Floor 1161 had a fantastic view - no balcony. Breakfast each morning was busy, but plentiful. Amazing pastry collection, nice fresh brewed and hand made drinks with table service if required. Hot Chocolate, Soya drinks all available. Spa was wonderful, Gym too. Cafe in reception had cakes which were fantastic, made a great green tea but couldn't make a hot chocolate - it was like milk water!

It’s our second time in the hotel. The rooms are super convenient with excellent views to a garden and/or Bosphorus. The cleaning staff (in our case Akba) is super kind and efficient. We love all the indoor services (gyms, pool, spa) and the garden it’s just amazing. You can’t believe you are in the heart of Istanbul and enjoying so much calm at the same time.

My entire experience at this hotel has been lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. A standout member of the team is Ozgur Cicekdac He was very polite and very personable. In all my interactions. I can’t say enough about the employees. The setting is also stunning.

Pros: *Excellent welcome reception — special thanks to Çinna, Uzgar, and all the hotel staff for their kind and helpful attitude. *Showing Qibla direction in the room's drawer. *Fantastic breakfast with a wide variety of dishes every day and beautiful sea views. On the last day, the breakfast team changed, and the experience became even more delightful — ladies were offering freshly baked Turkish pastries in charming baskets, creating a warm, homely, village-like atmosphere. *Although the room was not a full sea view as expected, it still offered wonderful views of the Bosphorus. *The lobby is vibrant, spotless, and full of energy, with shops, business meetings, and workshops taking place. The view from the entrance lobby is simply breathtaking! *Numerous fast elevators make movement around the hotel smooth and convenient. Cons: *Location is central, however, it is in hill and difficult to walk and so many traffic in the adjacent way. It took sometime more than 10mins to reach hotel. *The room was quite small, and the closet’s position opposite the bed made it hard to open and pass by at the same time. *The toilet flush system was inconvenient and not suitable for Muslim guests who need to use water for hygiene. It stops automatically and requires frequent pushing. I suggest replacing it with a regular flush system like those commonly used in Turkey or adding a handheld bidet hose, similar to those in many hotels in London and Arab/Muslim countries. *Taking big amount of insurance. 500 euros and they make it for us 250 euros. Still high and after amount releasing will be less as currencies exchange rates and bank's fees. *After returning home, I realized I had forgotten my phone’s supercharger, wire, and adaptor. The hotel staff responded promptly and found only the charger, showing great communication and cooperation. However, they requested shipping fees of over 80 euros to return it! Which was disappointing — especially considering the high cost of our stay. We visit Istanbul every year and had planned to make this hotel our regular choice, but after the charger incident, we are reconsidering.

The housekeeping team kept the room spotless and welcoming every day. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, and helpful with every request. We recently stayed at The St. Regis Istanbul on October 22–23, 2025, and this was truly one of the best St. Regis experiences we’ve ever had. We travel frequently, for reference, this was our 14th country this year and service is something we really value. From the moment we arrived, the bellmen, front desk team, and restaurant staff were beyond exceptional. The entire property was immaculate, secure, and welcoming. The butler service was attentive and available around the clock, and the team at the Brasserie went above and beyond when I wasn’t feeling well after a medical procedure. They even prepared a special clear chicken broth for me that wasn’t on the menu due to my current diet, completely complimentary, just to make sure I was taken care of. Gestures like that truly reflect the St. Regis brand at its best. Unfortunately, our otherwise perfect stay ended on a disappointing note at checkout. I had been delayed at the hospital, was in surgery, and my partner called ahead to let the hotel know we would return closer to 6 p.m. (our stay included a 4 p.m. checkout). Upon arrival, Duty Manager Burak Demiray and Front Desk Manager Esra were unprofessional and dismissive. Burak spoke to us in a rude manner, refused to allow us to use our remaining $100 credit even after learning I had just come from a medical procedure, and made comments that left me feeling disrespected. To make matters worse, when I asked for his full name, he gave a false one, later confirmed by another staff member, and Esra stated she couldn’t give me his real name because she “was scared to get fired,” explaining she had only worked there a month. That was deeply concerning and not reflective of the respectful, luxury-level service we experienced from everyone else at the hotel. It’s unfortunate that this encounter overshadowed what was otherwise an incredible stay. Because of it, we chose not to return after our trip to Cappadocia and stayed elsewhere instead.Despite that ending, I want to acknowledge the majority of the staff especially the Brasserie restaurant team and bellmen for delivering such world-class hospitality. This property has so much potential, and I truly hope leadership addresses the issues at the front desk so future guests receive the consistent five-star experience St. Regis is known for.

Review of The St. Regis Istanbul I recently stayed at The St. Regis Istanbul and would like to share a balanced perspective on my experience. Service & Staff The check-in experience was very pleasant — the front desk team was welcoming and friendly, which gave a great first impression. However, during the stay I noticed a lack of coordination among staff. While there were many employees present, they often seemed inattentive to guests, and at times service felt disorganized. Additionally, the butler service did not meet expectations; promises such as upgrades and perks were not honored, which was disappointing for a hotel of this level. Value vs Price Unfortunately, the overall value did not justify the price. The experience leaned more towards a mid-range hotel, while being priced at a luxury level. For what is marketed as a five-star property, the service and facilities fell short. Rooms & Facilities The guest rooms showed signs of age, with outdated furniture that has not been renewed. This detracted from the luxury feel one would expect at a St. Regis. On a positive note, housekeeping and room cleaning were excellent throughout the stay, which I truly appreciated. Brand Expectations As part of the St. Regis and Marriott group, I had higher expectations. Unfortunately, I felt that guests — especially loyal or elite members — were not valued as they should be. It also seems there has been a decline in service levels over time, possibly due to management or staff changes. Dining I cannot provide a complete evaluation of the dining experience, as I was only on my second day at the hotel during this review. Security & Maintenance One issue that stood out was that the in-room safety box was not working upon check-in, which raised concerns about both maintenance and security. Overall The St. Regis Istanbul has potential, but it did not fully meet the standards of the brand in terms of service, value, and upkeep. While there were positives, such as the warm welcome at reception and excellent housekeeping, improvements are needed for this property to truly deliver a five-star luxury experience.

The hotel is very well maintained and located in an excellent area, making it convenient for exploring the city. The property itself is attractive and offers a pleasant environment. However, the service on the rooftop terrace was disappointing, as the staff were not attentive and did not provide the level of hospitality expected. This affected the overall experience. With improved service in this area, the hotel could easily stand out as a top choice.

The hotel has a excellent location-very convenient for sightseeing and walking around the city. Our room was comfortable. What made our stay tulry special was the Assistant Hood and Bevarage manager's kindness. From the first day he warmly told us to ask if we needed anything, and he was always ready to help. Thanks to him and the whole team, we had a memorable stay. This trip was my old father, and he was very happy during our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We went to the terrace around noon to have some hot chocolate. The hostess informed us that we needed to wait for a while. Later, we sat at a table and ordered hot chocolate and dessert. Mr. Ercan took great care of us he was friendly, cheerful, and sincere. We would like to thank him very much for his warm hospitality. We left very happy.

Very good - located on the waterfront and within reasonable distance to most tourist sights, this is a good hotel. The Staff were wonderful; very courteous and always professional. The location is first class, and the amenities were also very good. An excellent place to stay when in Istanbul.

Perfect all around. From check-in to check-out, everything was thoughtful and detail oriented. We enjoyed afternoon tea in the lobby and a lovely dinner by the water over sunset. Bora, the lobby director was super welcoming, gave us informative pointers, and offered to help with any requests. Our room in the first building was well appointed, immaculately maintained, and quiet. The check-in team worked their magic to secure a room for us upon an early arrival, which is never expected but always appreciated. Location can’t be beat. As first timers in Istanbul, we wanted to stay in a central spot that is easily accessible to the main sites but not too hectic. For the most part, we were able to just walk around town (our preference), while it is also nice to have the tram station around the corner.

This hotel is about a year old and let me tell ya, it’s an experience to stay here. It’s right on the water and the hotel is in impeccable condition. Staff is continuously cleaning! The technology built into this room is incredible! The room is huge and very well laid out. Breakfast is excellent! The pool is pristine and the view is amazing! Definitely will be returning!

Incredibly beautiful location, right on the shore of Bosporus. The buildings were beautifully renovated but the place still retains its original atmosphere. Food is definitely prepared with extra care/ The only downside is the inexperienced service staff who were well-meaning and hard-working but needed more training on the job. We didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms.

Very very bad hotel please do not go there. They tell you one price then they charge you extra on check out. The rooms are dusty food is expensive with low quality and fridge inside room doesn’t work I mean it doesn’t work at all in all rooms if you need cold water you have to go to a cafe or a restaurant one good thing though is some of the staff as the house keeping is very nice and helpful such as the nice holga and the ladies in the reception and the concierge

Really shocking management and service for a 5* hotel after a really bad experience! Booked to stay at this hotel with family for a wedding. Due to a change of circumstance i had to cancel my booking (way in advance) confirmation of cancellation was made by a member of staff however a large amount of money was deducted from my card on the day i was meant to be staying! I have now spoke to possibly 4/5 different people in regards to getting my own money back and i am being sent from person to person. As you will know this hotel is not cheap and i am now fighting for my money back! It is really not ok. Think twice before booking - incase you later wish to cancel !!!

I was so looking forward to staying at this Six Senses when we attended for a wedding, ambit I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The hotel itself is beautiful and immaculate, looking out at the Bosporous. Our room was spacious with tasteful decor and a lovely bathroom. The view from the pool and spa overlooking the Bosporus was stunning, though having to call a buggy to take you up the winding roads to get to the pool isn’t so convenient. The service is what knocked off two stars for me. Few of the staff spoke fluent English and seemed to avoid interactions because of this. It just lead to confusion, awkward interactions, and did not feel like 5 star service. Also, the razor kit in our room was used which was icky. The breakfast was ok - a la carte not a buffet. All in all, the hotel was beautiful but the service and overall experience didn’t merit the price tag for me.

We spent two nights at the hotel. Unfortunately we did not have a great time due to poor service - the smoothest part of our stay was check-in and check-out, where the Guest Experience Manager was helpful. For the remainder of the time we experienced repeat misunderstandings and delays of up to 2 hours for basic food and drink orders. It seemed like the majority of the staff were on the first day of the job without supervision - we watched one waiter struggle to open a bottle of beer with some cutlery, and another informed us that the restaurant we were in did not serve any drinks (despite it having a fully stocked bar and drinks menu). These are just minor examples of the many confusing and disappointing service interactions we had over 2 days. We did get a couple of sandwiches we had ordered comped when we complained, and were looked after better at dinner on our final night, but in my view this hotel is a complete rip off for the experience offered.

This was our second time staying in this hotel. I can not recommend enough for those who want to visit İstanbul. Sultanahmet is down the street, nice restaurants and shops are seconds away. Hotel was ideally located. Really comfortable and the roof terrace overlooking the Blue Mosque was wonderful at night. The vibe of the place was great and the little touches like tea and coffee freshly made for you any time, the little freshly baked cakes and cookies set out in the afternoon. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the location is beyond perfect. All the main sights just on your doorstep. What set the whole place apart was the service. It just made you feel like nothing was too difficult or inconvenient. I would especially like to mention Ramazan at reception. He set the bar was high service that was genuine, gracious and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel. A wonderful 5 day stay

A great boutique hotel in an amazing location. A couple to minutes away from the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and so many other amazing sites. Easy to get to other parts of Istanbul with easy access to the tram network only very short walk away. The staff are really helpful and friendly. They helped with booking some amazing restaurants and had great suggestion to make the most of our 4 days in Istanbul. The hotels rooms are really well done, comfy bed and great chill out spaces. The bathroom is on the small side but has everything you’d need. Highly recommend.

FURTHER RESPONSE TO OWNER: I have not heard from your Reservations Dept as you indicated I would, and it appears you wrote your response a week ago. Once again, very disappointing and not anything like a 5-star experience. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Chase Travel contacted you twice and you made no attempt to resolve the situation. I somewhat understand not providing a refund, but my request to change dates was flexible, not fixed. And dates I suggested were available on your website and other platforms; you were not fully booked. If you are now saying you will give me a credit to use for two nights in the future, for example, I would accept that, as I do travel to Istanbul sometimes. Otherwise, what you are saying is just empty words to make the Reservations Department look better. ——— This review is for the poor service, since I paid for two nights at the hotel last month but was not able to stay there. We tested positive for Covid the day we were supposed to fly to Istanbul. We were sick, and consequently could not get on the plane. I kindly requested either a refund or to change the dates to another time, even just to move the dates slightly. The hotel would not assist us, instead requiring us to forfeit the stay completely. This is genuinely poor service for a supposed 5-star hotel that was not at capacity for days we could have moved the stay to. It seems they would have preferred we spread illness to them or their other guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Bank Hotel. The location was perfect as it was a short walk to the tram that crosses the river. The tram was super easy to use with a swipe of my credit card. I did not have to master a unique pass system to use public transportation Breakfast (included) was great and got our days started well. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely stay at the Bank Hotel, ideally located in the vibrant Karaköy district. From the beginning, the staff was extremely warm and welcoming and the place in itself is beautiful. We had booked the Deluxe Duplex King Room and it was just perfect. I also loved the little treats and daily attentions. The spa is a nice addition and even though it is quite costly compared to similar experiences, we had a very pleasant time there (going up to the room right after it is so good). The rooftop is breathtaking and the food is very good too. Expensive, but definitely worth it. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast which wasn’t particularly appealing in my opinion. They could add more options, or a live experience of fresh gözleme for example. However, I do recommend booking a cultural experience at the hotel, like the manti workshop. It’s interesting, fun, and free! You even get to eat the food that you prepared. This experience is SO worth it! Special thanks to Sahar and Mehmet who were incredible hosts, but globally speaking, the staff there is amazing. I would definitely book this hotel again if I’m back in Istanbul!

UPDATE: Be careful filling out the Bank Hotel’s reservation deposit page. I got an error page 3x when I entered my card information. The Bank Hotel confirmed that it received my funds in spite of the errors. Good thing I checked my account a few weeks later - the charge had gone through 3 separate times. I got in touch with The Bank Hotel immediately and they confirmed they had received a surplus of $609.24. They take 21 days to process refunds which is truly an inordinate amount of time for an error that is ultimately at their end. ————————-//////////——————————- I think the Bank Hotel is overrated. Great location, beautiful rooftop and warm welcome upon arrival, but otherwise you don’t get your full value for money: small and cramped rooms, limited food options (the kitchen couldn’t accommodate my dietary restrictions and simply removed food items that I can’t consume instead of substituting), and inability to process a late check out. Breakfast was lame. I was also met with unsmiling faces from Hotel staff at breakfast each morning. I think Bank needs to improve their services.

We spent our most memorable time while staying at Sumahan on The Water in Istanbul. This hotel offered everything we dreamed of and much more. From friendly front desk staff (namely ALI, of course others were as good) who were supper nice and helpful as well as the restaurant staff. The breakfast was fantastic and of course the scenery is the highlight of this hotel. It is hard to explain the total experience unless you see it yourself. I can't wait to go back for another memorable stay at this hotel.

A beautiful location on the Bosporus, this is really a hidden gem in Istanbul. Located in a quiet part of the city, it is an urban haven, a true 'find' that feels like a homey, yet luxurious retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The wonderful owners made us feel like family and were on hand to help with everything from fabulous restaurant recommendations to even speaking to our crazy Turkish taxi driver. I would absolutely return and recommend to others. My duplex suite felt more like an apartment with a garden area outside just steps from the water, perfect for business travellers or leisure.

Stayed there for 4 times, and always want to come back again. The loft suite with its garden is a piece of heaven. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Our flight arrived early morning and they allowed us for an early check in. We also asked for a late check out and they happily helped us. I can say that this is the best hotel in Istanbul.

The Waterfront restaurant here is a great place to spend the most lovely evening. In a quiet and elegant atmosphere, you can enjoy the excellent view of Bosporus along with amazing dishes and service. If you are lucky enough, dolphins may also greet you nearby :)

Great place to stay in Istanbul on asian side. Directly on the Bosporus with awesome view from terrace while dining and from the rooms as well. Nice staff, though some are not familiar with english. Great breakfast. Nice rooms and good shower. I was on a quick business trip and missed a tooth brush provided which is in my opinion a must in a 5 star hotel. There is a conference room as well. All in all great experience.

Cute little hotel with nice ambiance and tasteful design but, but, given the price tag, I would expect higher level attention to detaisl: bedding is low quality, pillows and duvets are synthetic, air conditioner is noisy, hot water in the tap at 22pm is not hot enough to take a hot bath. Given that for the price you can get four seasons, kempinsky or swisshotel, and all of them will have higher standarts - I was very dissapointed in my stay.

Great location, quite busy and some time was needed for check in, rooms are not as big for the price. Swimming pool is quite decent. Hotel is located in the square of Taksim, however quite traffic all the time to reach by car. Services are quite professional. Water in the room wasn't that strong but would definitely recommend it for others. Noise isolation is very bad, work in the hotel was ongoing during the day which caused noise, there was a paper in the room for information but no one informed us at check in

We visited the Lobby Restaurant at The Marmara Istanbul and were absolutely delighted! 🍽✨ The food is truly amazing,delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The Marmara Taksim Hotel – Honest Review Breakfast Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options. The omelette chefs are always kind, and the breakfast staff overall is friendly and professional. Location We love the location. It’s close to the metro, restaurants, and shopping. Every driver in Istanbul knows the hotel, which makes getting around very easy. Rooftop 360 The rooftop view is absolutely spectacular. Drinks are not very strong for our taste, so we recommend beer. The rooftop restaurant looked nice, although we didn’t dine there. Just remember—it’s very windy, so bring a jacket. Room 1421 The room is a good size, and the Bosporus view is breathtaking. Waking up every morning and opening the window to that scene was the highlight of our stay. Reception The lobby is cozy and very clean. Reception staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a metal detector at the entrance for added security, which we appreciated. Staff Outside the Entrance This area needs improvement. While there are hotel employees outside, they rarely speak to or assist foreign guests. They mostly interact with locals. As tourists, we expected some guidance or help. No one asked if we needed directions or transportation—something basic for a five-star hotel. Major Complaint – Smoking Issue We stayed five nights in Room 1421 on a non-smoking floor, but someone nearby was smoking constantly. The smell was so strong it filled our room every night. My wife has respiratory problems, and it was very difficult for her to sleep. Some nights, she had to leave the room just to breathe better. We reported this issue multiple times to reception, including late at night, but nothing was done until the final night when they offered to move us—too late. This ruined our sleep and overall experience. For a five-star hotel, this lack of response is unacceptable. Instead of charging us, they should have refunded part of the stay. Final Thoughts If we return, it’s because we truly love this hotel. But right now, we are hesitant—afraid the same issue could happen again. We sincerely recommend the management take better care of their guests, especially in situations where comfort and health are affected. This hotel has so much potential. A stronger focus on customer care could truly make it a five-star experience again.

We arrived at the hotel after 8pm, tired after a long day of travels and from the moment we entered the Marmara hotel everything was smooth and well managed. We were welcomed by Sena at reception, her friendly and engaging attitude was refreshing! We are traveling with our one year old baby and were lucky to be upgraded to a suite overlooking the Bosporus! This was a pleasant surprise and as we celebrating our wedding anniversary it felt extra special to have the upgrade. Our baby recently started walking and is also enjoying the extra space to roam around in the bigger room. Thanks to Marmara for making this a very memorable wedding anniversary and special family vacation.

I stayed here for a few weeks and overall had a very good experience. A special thank you to Hasan Ü., the restaurant supervisor, who truly went above and beyond for us every morning. His warm professional and attentive service made our days better and was the highlight of our stay.. The location is prime and the hotel is well maintained. The only downside was the experience with some of the female front desk staff. I observed it not only with myself but with other guests. They were not very welcoming and at times came off as rude, which doesn’t match the level of hospitality the rest of the staff provided. However Ahmed K. from the front desk was very very nice and helpful. S That being said, I would still recommend The Marmara Hotel and again a special thanks to the outstanding service from people like Hasan Ü. and Ahmed K.

This was my first time staying at this hotel as we usually stay at the Hilton Bosporus, which is currently under renovations. The pictures online do not so this hotel justice; it’s stunning in person. Beautiful lobby spiral staircase and marbled flooring, gorgeous restaurants and two of the things I always notice: artwork and scent . The hotel has a lovely collection of modern and traditional paintings on the lobby walls as well as the wonderful smell of Rebul Ateliers scent “Istanbul”. makes for a lovely feeling when inside. Nobody is better at hospitality than the Turks. They have mastered the service industry, which is such a key factor when staying at luxury hotels or restaurants. This hotel did not veer from that standard and in fact it’s evident they’re all trained in professional service and thank goodness, for me at least, they all speak English. Customer service with a smile and a quiet professionalism that I appreciate. We stayed in the Grand Bosporus Suite. It’s on the 14th floor with a view of the park below as well as the bridge and Bosphorus. It’s a corner unit with one bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. A large room with a dining area and living room area. The living room has a huge Smart TV but the bedrooms Pop-up smaller TV is not smart. Thank goodness we had a laptop and were able to connect bedroom TV for netflix. the room is beautifully designed with a full marbled bathroom that has a built in TV inside the Mirror. cool feature! Hardwood floors and gorgeous views. complimentary snacks upon arrival as well. the grounds outside include a beautiful pool. Even more beautiful in person. Large and well kept as well. I would like to note that the executive lounge is very nice but lacking in food options. in between the meal options they only had 3 types of whole fruit, 3 types of cookies and two types of nuts. not much for someone coming in between meals. i think they could offer more items to suit a wider range of tastes.

We didn't choose this hotel by chance. We really wanted a high-quality hotel close to bus stops and ferries. We arrived with a two-year-old child, so child-friendly amenities were important. We were greeted by Ms. Yaren. She is very sweet and friendly. Later, she helped us organize a friend's birthday party. The hotel also sent us a cake in our room. And the next day, they organized a congratulatory dessert at breakfast. Thanks to Ms. Cemre, Hasan, Emir, and Huseyin. It was very nice to have such attention from the hotel staff. Our child was treated to dessert in the pastry shop on the first floor. Mr. Jacob and Ms. Yaren gave us stuffed seagulls. They brought our child a crib. The only downside: we asked for a blanket for the child, but they brought a heavy blanket. It's hard for the child to sleep under that; he needs a different soft blanket. Otherwise, everything was great. Delicious and varied breakfasts, attentive and friendly staff, excellent spacious clean rooms, and excellent service. Everything is excellent! Opposite the hotel is a children's playground with great slides and swings. There's a bus stop right across the street. There's a Migros a little closer to the Bosphorus. Unlike the historic Sultanahmet, this location is close to anywhere in the city. We are very grateful for such a cozy atmosphere. Thank you!

Setup: - Gold member, seen 30+ Hilton and co. hotels - traveling with the family and service dog - booking a room 1 day in advance —> I was pleasantly surprised with Conrad Bosphorus: Good: - super friendly and explaining stuff - Spa is luxury and with pool (sauna/ Hamam are separated per gender), gym is well equipped - breakfast was really good! Not too much bread stuff, but all kinds of meze and local delicacies. - location is great for the Bosporus cruise - hotel feels more like a boutique - executive lounge food and drinks selection was ok (no Bailies, sadly :) ) - I felt very attended and valued as a gold member, all stay long Not so good: - the room of executive lounge is kinda boring. Not sure why it’s on such a low floor - spa treatments are a bit pricey (100€ per 50min massage) - windows are not super noice cancelling - i could hear the traffic a bit from the 11th floor - location is a bit tricky for taxi (traffic) But overall - good stuff, Conrad!

Update 10/21: as I was checking out of the hotel, the front desk called the manager to speak with me. The manager took me to a table and discussed my review. I also noticed this morning that the air conditioning turned off when I left the room. She told me this is automated, which is still unacceptable but isn't the fault of housekeeping. The manager then offered me 10,000 Hilton points for the inconveniences mentioned below. I asked for and was given 20,000 instead. She also paid for my taxi to my next hotel. She asked me to increase my review to 5 stars. I refused to maintain the integrity of the review, but I increased the service rating to 4 stars, which increased the overall rating from 3 to 4 as a result. Nice secluded location on a hill, 10 min from all the transit and smoking. The pool is great. There are also tennis courts, but there's no way to find other guests who want to play. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work, and maintenance didn't know how to fix it. Additionally, housekeeping came into the room and changed the temperature to make it even hotter, which really frustrated me. They also unplugged my charger. Simply unacceptable. There are two pianos, but neither is available to guests to play. Breakfast has no berries and the scrambled eggs are runny. It's okay otherwise. The executive lounge is lacking and the bread is stale. The staff refused to my face to fill up a cup with tap water, so I had to do so in the bathroom. Housekeeping was directly outside my door by 8 am both days, making loud noises which woke me up. I left for first breakfast on day two, and when I returned 30 min later, my air conditioner had been turned off and it was once again hot in the room.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Spectacular food, bars and service. The best kept secret is the bar and restaurant on the 14th floor. The incredible views of Istanbul are absolutely stunning, especially at night. Magnificent view of the Bosphorus River Bridge in lights. Just amazing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We choose Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel for its excellent service, amenities, comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location! This time, we felt exceptionally comfortable and relaxed. I'd especially like to highlight the high level of professionalism, attentiveness, and friendliness of manager Yaren and thank her for making our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible! The views from our two rooms, which Yaren provided, were stunning! Yaren quickly and easily resolved any issues that arose during our stay (for example, opening the safe and minibar issues). Her sensitivity and care allowed me to relax and feel very comfortable at the hotel. I had a very pleasant experience with her. Thank you so much, dear Yaren! The service in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff was impeccable, attentive, and caring to all guests at breakfast. We were very pleased with our stay, everything was wonderful!

Very Disappointing Stay – Rude and Unwelcoming Atmosphere We stayed at the Conrad Hotel Istanbul in September 2025. Being our first visit to Istanbul, we asked the front desk for recommendations on nearby attractions and a walking map of the area. They directed us to the concierge, where we were handed a map with print so tiny it was practically unreadable and were told to “go online and research it” ourselves. At first, we assumed the concierge might be having a bad day, but when we contacted guest services, we received the same dismissive attitude. This behavior seemed consistent among other staff and supervisors as well. The persistent rudeness appeared to reflect the overall culture of the Conrad Hotel. The property itself was also disappointing for a five-star hotel. The online photos do not reflect the actual atmosphere — the entrance included a security check for vehicle underbodies, followed by a lobby security checkpoint with a metal detector and an X-ray scanner for luggage. Our room showed noticeable wear and tear and felt cold and uninviting. Overall, our stay was unpleasant. We left the Conrad early and found much more pleasant and helpful accommodation elsewhere.

Frictionless service was the dish served to us by the staff at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul as we spent a long weekend with them at the end of several weeks of travel. One person in our party needed crutches, and as we got out of our van, the staff immediately asked and provided a wheelchair for us. This was only the beginning of our delight. Lounge staff were especially attentive and had learned our orders (coffee, tea, and eggs) so that arriving to breakfast was a wonderful surprise and saying goodbye to our morning server (who spoke English) was a bittersweet goodbye. Little things like preheating the coffee cup with hot water before bringing our cappuccino was the shiny bow on the top of the present. The food served was tasty with a good variety, but after a couple of days you might want to go out or hit the restaurants. Gym facilities were great with 24 hour access and plenty of cardio, machines, and free weights. The yoga studio had mats. balance balls, and kettle bells. Steam and sauna were available after 8 AM and included with the gym, but the Turkish Hammam was an extra charge for 50 or 80 minute sessions. Security included vehicle inspection before pulling up and standard airport security as you enter. Location was just a few steps from several bus lines and the Taksim square metro connections, so we just did short walks to be on our way if we were not taking a taxi. Friends had mentioned the quiet park just behind the hotel as a meadow within the urban core, and a walk through it let you connect with nature and the Cats of Istanbul. We could go most places within the complex with the wheelchair, but the pool and the gym required stairs so not everything is accessible.

Grand Hyatt for a day was a mix of good and bad experiences. Starting with the good...the rooms were clean spacious and had a lot of light. Beds were super comfortable which we liked. The bad... When we checked in the front desk mentioned that in room dining is available, just scan the qr code at the table and order from the resturant. This is very standard all across the world. We did the same as soon as we entered the room. Ordered food from resturant 34. We ordered a sea bream... The menu online said it is short ribs. We also ordered the butter chicken. When the room service came in to serve the food we say butter chicken and fish. When we questioned the fist we were told this is sea bream. We argued saying this is not short ribs as the menu says... The poor worker was clueless but was adamant that it is sea bream. There can be two scenarios here.... Either the online menu is wrong or the resturant who was pretty adamant that the fish is seabream is correct. This just spoiled the mood for us. Butter chicken looked spectacular but the chef had so much salt that I had to throw half of it. Absolutely disastrous food. I wanted to make a complaint at the check out but decided not to

Second Update— Our stay was exceptional. We had a small hiccup with a chef who wasn’t initially sure how to handle a food allergy, but the staff immediately stepped in with care and professionalism. Breakfast was kindly compensated, and every team member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We also experienced issues with a completely unrelated hotel nearby, and the manager here truly came to our rescue — stepping in with such kindness, empathy, and professionalism. They went out of their way to help my husband and me, and we are so grateful for the genuine care and hospitality we received throughout our stay. The rooms are beautiful, the service is attentive, and the entire team radiates warmth and dedication. The gym is excellent — spotless, well-equipped, and ideal for travelers who like to stay active. The location couldn’t be better, with everything you could need just steps away. This property has absolutely earned its five-star rating — honestly, we’d give it 11/10 if we could. Highly, highly recommend without hesitation. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable!

We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul. The service was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well designed. Our booking included complimentary lounge access, which was a real highlight with light snacks and drinks available throughout the day. We also enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the cozy, relaxing bar area. This combination made our stay both comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul.

For the cost I'm absolutely appalled at the state of the hotel and lack of customer service. The front desk employees were unfriendly and seemed to be bothered when I asked to use an umbrella during a storm. When we needed something we had to call repeatedly for them to provide our request. The hair dryer was broken so they provided one for us to use but you can't plug it in the bathroom or anywhere near a mirror. The hotel needs updating. We were shown the steam room and sauna and when I mentioned a cold shower they said there's no cold water but pointed to a bucket of ice. I really have no idea how they claim to be luxurious. Hyatt Regency was significantly better in every possible way.

We truly appreciate the whole team for making our stay so smooth and memorable. The reservation team kindly arranged rooms on the same floor for our group of five — myself, my partner, and both of our parents. A special thanks to Media for the warm and hospitable help. The lounge was another highlight with plentiful happy hour options, and our family really enjoyed it. The hotel location is also excellent, close to shopping and Taksim Square. We enjoyed our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Istanbul. There was a small issue with the type of room, but the management resolved it at the end. The breakfast view is truly the best in Istanbul, and the gym is excellent, spacious and well equipped. The only downside is the constant traffic around the hotel, which can make getting in and out difficult.

It’s a very cool building, there are people in every day for dinner, I think just to take selfies inside. Room service is great, the burger is a dream. Would stay again.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The location cannot be beat for exploring this vibrant city. The hotel grounds are beautiful and our allocated room was very spacious and well appointed. There are 5 star hotels, There are luxury hotels and top of these, there is another category which this hotel belongs to that only few can make into. When you come to stay here, other hotels just feel mediocre. No wonder why they got so many awards.. Four Seasons already known for the luxury hospitality but I think this one raise the bar even for FS standards. This place has by far most sophisticated and luxurious breakfast I ever seen in any hotel in the World. I hate when breakfast buffet in hotels seems to have unlimited options with big setups but can’t really find what you want. Here everything is freshly prepared in small quantities placed in a unpretentious buffet and you order other items from menu and it’s cooked up to your taste. Everything designed around quality. Nothing here done for sake of checking the box. Atmosphere is also amazing and everything feels just right. If you want to see and experience what a real luxury hotel is.. This is the right place to stay in Istanbul. I will go even beyond to say that this is a hotel one can travel to Istanbul just to stay here.

Muhammad is a 10-star host. He took such good care of us. This is an exceptionally beautiful property. Words cannot do it justice, you just need to see for yourself. Also don’t miss the curiosity shop in the main arcade.

Excellent location, which let us get the most out of our three days in Turkey. We were within walking distance of the attractions that were interesting to us, which saved a lot of time. Breakfast was amazing, and every morning they'd offer different things for us to try. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Dropped by for a glass of red wine and a snack after a long and exhausting day. The sommelier, Haseyin Azak, suggested a local wine called Pythagoras. It was completely delicious. Just the ticket.

Our visit to the Four Seasons in Istanbul was nothing short of incredible, and a big part of that was thanks to the outstanding service we received from our waiter, Yusef. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, respectful, and welcoming truly serving with grace and class. What really stood out was his attention to detail. He remembered both my name and my mother’s, which made the experience feel incredibly personal. He offered wonderful recommendations, especially when it came to dessert, and shared insightful information throughout our visit that made us feel well taken care of. The drinks were also fantastic. I had an iced coffee, which was creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while my mother had a freshly squeezed juice that tasted organic and full of flavour you could really tell it was made with high-quality ingredients. It’s rare to be treated with such care and professionalism. Yusef truly elevated our entire experience and made it unforgettable. The Four Seasons Istanbul lives up to its reputation for elegance, but its staff like him that make it feel genuinely special.

I stayed at the White House Istanbul Hotel and absolutely loved it! It’s a very small, cozy, and charming hotel with maybe 10–12 rooms, which makes the experience feel personal. The staff were excellent—super attentive and always eager to help. The rooms are on the smaller side but very cute, comfortable, and well kept. The best feature is the location—just steps away from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, and so many other unique sites in Istanbul. A perfect spot for anyone who wants to explore the city on foot. Highly recommend!

We visited White House Hotel in July for a 5 days trip. The service was wonderful, we were met by the owner himself, got a welcome drink and some useful information about the city. Hotel has a beautiful terrace on the roof of the building, where you can have Turkish tea and coffee any time you like. Rooms are comfortable and cosy, we were impressed by the quality of the interior. All staff members are kind and friendly, always help us and answer our questions. We will definitely recommend this place and will visit it while our next journey in Istanbul.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel in August and couldn’t be happier. From the moment we stepped in to the day we left, it felt like home. The owner Mr Harun gave us such a warm welcome with drinks and evil eye gifts and made us so comfortable. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. They even gave us an extra bed with no additional cost. The breakfast at the rooftop was great too with some amazing views. They even had a 24 hour coffee machine available at their rooftop. All of the staff was extremely courteous and friendly and made sure all our needs were met. I would specifically mention Mr Birat who went out of his way to guide us and even walked us a couple of times to our destinations. He even brought chocolates for my kids. The location of this property is amazing where you can walk to all the major attractions in the old city as well as restaurants and train station. Would definitely recommend this to anybody visiting Istanbul.

Stayed at this hotel with friends for about 4 nights . It is located in a busy district close to everything . Also the main shopping district is up the hill with many great boutiques . The suite with its own cabana is really nice . The staff is friendly and will organize whatever you may need . The spa is small. The gym is fine. A few cats outside of your door :) they were the highlight of my stay. At night we sat at the bar for a couple of drinks , it’s pretty cozy. The dessert is delicious as well as the drinks . Breakfast is great and healthy options as well as strong coffee .

The hotel is located in one of the best areas in Istanbul and almost every tourist attraction is walking distance from here or only few minutes by car. The rooms are perfect however I did not like the glass that covers the TV in the rooms, because it makes it difficult if you would like to connect your devices to the TV. The hotel entrance is small and doesn’t seem like a 5 Star hotel entrance also the lobby area is small and doesn’t look similar to any W hotels that I have stayed at before. The In Room dining menu lacks of many options that you would expect in a W hotel. The staff were excellent and all of them speak fluent English and the concierge was the best he helped us in so many things and even made sure that everything was okay with us. Overall we had an excellent experience here but for the price we paid here there are many options nearby with the same value that has spacious lobbies and better In Room dining.

It was the best hotel I have ever been to. I felt like I was so rich. The tv was so cool. And the bed and shower had a beautiful view of the outside. And also the staff there are so nice. Whenever I needed a cab the guy ordered one for me. I totally recommend it if u are staying in Istanbul.

This place is awesome, the decor is really nice and the lounge setting has very cool couches and a pretty upbeat party at night. It’s a little noisy outside but if you keep your windows closed you should be alright. The lighting in the rooms are great and it’s also placed in a very love area with many bars and restaurants. It’s a lot of fun on the weekends. Service is good, food here is spectacular. I don’t usually have so many good things to say about a hotel but if I come back to Istanbul, I’m staying here for sure.

This is one of the great locations in Istanbul. It's centrally located to a number of good restaurants and nightlife clubs. As most Marriotts, the staff is very pleasant and tries to accommodate you as much as possible. I'm a Titanium member so I'm sure that helps too 😏 The rooms are very well furnished and some have great private balconies/sitting area outside. Some of the rooms are on the street side so it will be noisy especially weekend nights. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. Had just a small bite and desert. Will update if I go back next time and eat there. I did have a little delay at checking but the front desk were great handling it.

W Istanbul is one of our favorite hotels in Turkey. We always pay a visit be it for few hours or for our stay in Istanbul. The team is super friendly and the garden rooms are perfect for our furry family members ❤️ This is also the place we chose to welcome Gracie, she loved the bed and had a great time. Staff are super friendly with the dogs and they were also welcome at breakfast with us. Lady at breakfast was super kind and made us feel welcome every morning. Her special fruit cocktail was a boost for the day 😊😊 We always love staying at the W and we look forward to visit again very soon.

You would make a mistake by not booking this hotel. This is the best, friendliest, and most efficient Marriott property I’ve stayed at after 12 years of loyalty. Not to mention the neighborhood is amazing. Lots to access in walking distance. Although the food here was great as well. Their whatsapp feature allows you to access anything at anytime you need. Their staff has all been amazing. Samil and Jesus were a couple of the many staff members to make my stay very enjoyable. Thank you.

Our stay in Hotel Arcadia Blue was incredible. The location is perfect with stunning views of the blue mosque directly from our room. From the moment we arrived the staff was very warm and welcoming. I also wanted to thank Emir Bey for always greeting us with a great smile and going above and beyond to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will be coming back on future trips to Istanbul.

It's all about the staff. They are so kind and helpful. I tried several 5-star hotels, including Crown Plaza and Novotel in Istanbul, but this hotel's service level exceeds them. They provided us with a wheelchair and were very accommodating and pleasant to talk to. Emir stands out as the best person we interacted with. Absolutely Disgusting Experience / Avoid This Hotel I had a deeply unpleasant stay at this hotel and I feel compelled to warn others. The stay included breakfast, but on the very first day, I was served a piece of another guest's leftover bread. The slice had a clear bite mark, complete with visible teeth impressions. When I stared at it in disbelief, the waiter noticed and came over. Instead of apologizing, he tried to claim that the “bite” and teeth marks were from cutting the bread. The excuse was as ridiculous as it sounds. I immediately asked to speak with a manager , unsurprisingly, no manager was available on-site. When I requested to end my stay early due to this unacceptable hygiene issue, I was told no refunds would be issued for the remaining days. So I was essentially forced to either stay or forfeit the rest of my payment. This was, without question, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I do not recommend this place to anyone, it’s not just poorly managed, but downright unhygienic and indifferent to guest concerns. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great hotel, well placed, mattress extra firm. The staff, well we ordered a car for the airport twice, the night clerk forgot twice, we had to wait 30 mins, no fun. Best breakfast on the roof top.

I loved staying at the Arcadia Blue. The reception staff were very professional and really friendly, and so were the restaurant staff. The views from the restaurant, and from my Deluxe Room, were beautiful. Istanbul is an amazing place and for me this was a great hotel in a perfect location to stay in.

I had a confirmed reservation with this hotel, and they canceled it less than 24 hours before my stay, without any communication or explanation. I was flying internationally and only discovered the cancellation hours before my flight. Due to the time difference, I couldn’t get in touch with anyone, and I was left scrambling to find a new hotel 10 hours before departure. When I finally landed in Turkey and called the hotel, they offered no apology, no solution, and no accountability, despite the fact that I was traveling from another country and was completely blindsided. Everything was booked due to the season, so this last-minute cancellation left me in an incredibly stressful and unfair position. This is, without question, one of the most inconsiderate and unprofessional things you can do to a traveler. The lack of communication, empathy, and basic responsibility speaks volumes about how this hotel is managed. I strongly advise against booking here. If this is how they treat guests before check-in, imagine what happens once you’re actually there.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location was perfect—much quieter than Sultanahmet, yet still close to all the major tourist attractions. The Greek restaurant inside the hotel was fantastic, and there were plenty of excellent dining options in the surrounding area as well. The room service, food, and drinks were all top-notch, and the rooms themselves were clean, comfortable, and authentically designed. What truly made our stay special, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, and a special thanks goes to Şenol Bey for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful alternative to Sultanahmet while still staying within easy reach of Istanbul’s must-see sights.

My family descends from the area in Istanbul and at one point resided in the apartment building now turned into an upscale hotel. So Macka Palas Hotel holds a near and dear place in my heart as an Istanbulite. Arzu hanım and Leyla hanım welcomed me with open arms and provided royal treatment. I took a chance and drove up to the hotel and hadn’t made reservations in advance. They upgraded my room to a suite with steam room and bath resembling a Turkish bath. On top, they provided a price reduction that made my longer stay more affordable. Each and every staff person epitomized Turkish hospitality, grace, courtesy and professionalism. I absolutely loved every aspect of my stay here. The rooms are fully equipped and incredibly welcoming and comfortable. The house keeping maintains impeccable cleanliness and frequently replenishes toiletries, towels and snacks. The breakfast service was by far one of the best I have experienced situated within a beautifully preserved dining area which maintains the historical and architectural history of the structure. They even have a Turkish lady making fresh gözleme or crepes during breakfast. I tried most of the fine dining and loved the kappucino area. They served perhaps the best quality coffee and desserts I have savored. Their Cipriani beats the one in New York City hands down in terms of food quality, ambience and high end patrons. The hotel is located within one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Istanbul which is Macka and Nişantasi. I never got bored for one moment and could comfortably walk around late at night. The stores are upscale and put London and New York to shame honestly. Nişantaşı, Zorlu Center, İstinye Park and other high end shopping malls have surpassed New York, Paris, London and Milan in luxury goods. My neck had whiplash from window shopping. The jewelry stores were phenomenal even if one could dream of purchasing these spectacular items. It was within walking distance of major sites, museums, the Kabataş port providing ferry service to Princes Islands, and Galataport. It’s a short distance from Sultan Ahmet and the scenic shore towards more upscale areas like Bebek and Tarabya laden with wonderful cafes, shops and seafood restaurants. Staying at Macka Palas wasn’t simply a place to rest my head and store luggage. Macka Palas was an ethereal experience, upholding excellence, high quality and tradition. My stay at Macka made traveling and visiting Istanbul again an amazing experience I will never forget. I will definitely be returning and staying here again.

I visited the hotel for a work-related event and was really impressed. The place is elegant, beautifully designed, and located in one of the nicest areas of Istanbul. The atmosphere is calm and refined, and the staff seemed very professional. It’s clearly a luxury hotel, and while the rates might be on the higher side, the overall ambiance and quality definitely reflect that level.

From the GM Erhan, Senol at Concierge, housekeeping and everyone in between, we received the best service and hospitality at Park Hyatt Macka Palas. Check-In was a breeze and the rooms were fantastic with their own little Hamams. Kappacciiiino cafe was superb, breakfast and the staff there were superb (gozleme lady was the best) and Ciprianis delightful. Highly recommend this hotel!

One of the finest hotels in the world in one of the most beautiful cities full stop. If you're lucky enough to be staying here, be sure to opt for the VIP airport pickup. It sounds like overkill but you'll be treated like a diplomat and be on your way to this majestic property in 20 minutes flat (including customs). My father and I ended up spending a magical week together in Istanbul after my mother had to drop out due to unforseen circumstances. I wrote to the hotel about the circumstances and I cannot be sure if it played a role in the suite we were assigned but it was among the most extravagant and beautiful suites I've ever stayed. The images should speak for themselves yet the cherry wood finishes and the in room steam, giant rain shower and jacuzzi were highlights (along with the large balcony replete with breathtaking views of the Bospherous and broader city). The service at this hotel is in a league of its own. We were treated like royalty during our stay. If you're a fitness buff then you're in luck. This hotel is owned by a famous soccer player and he hand picked the single best gym I've ever been to. The spa is another haven where Dewi (that is her name I believe) gave me a massage I shall never forget. I would be most appreciative if management were to contact me so that I could share what a uniquely valuable experience I had with her. I have had the good fortune to enjoy many spas renown for being amongst the finest in the world; The Dolder in Zürich, the Aman Giri in Utah and the Royal Malewane in Kruger National Park South Africa. The master masseur is an artist the same as any other; yet their occasionally brilliant works happen in quiet rooms usually with just one person. I've now had 5 "supreme massages." That is to say the masseuse, the ambiance, the experience was transcendent. It takes a profound physical intuition and sensitive somatic athleticism to leave someone in a glorit trance. Dewi combined Thai and Swedish technique to perfection. She should be in a leadership position. After the gym and massage using the steam and "ice fountain" gave one a sense of being on cloud nine. The hotel itself isn't imposing. It's nearly quaint but I urge travelers to spring for the 8th floor suites because the difference between floor 7 and 8 is a 10/10. I will never forget this special trip with my father. I had been to Istanbul in 2013 and I must say it's as if the whole city has been guilded over the last decade. The restaurants at the hotel are phenomenal including Cipriani's and some excellent Greek food. In relation to location and exclusivity for the price this has to be the best hotel in Istanbul.

I had an amazing experience at Park Hyatt Macka Palas. It is perfectly located in one of the most posh neighborhoods in Istanbul. Surrounded by top restaurants and great shopping. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is amazing. Special thanks to Leyla Kiper who went above and beyond to make our stay, celebrating my wife’s birthday, special. I would highly recommend staying here for those looking for a luxurious time in Istanbul.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Everyone was genuinely kind, and wanting to help us whenever needed. The spa facilities were great. We even got complimentary breakfast to our room on the day we were leaving early in the morning. Staff communication was impeccable, lovely to meet everyone and hope to return soon. The hotel is close to all places you’d want to visit. The cleaning staff were also very sweet. 10/10

Stayed in August 2024. Exceptional hotel. I felt privileged to be staying at the Ajwa. We had two connecting rooms that were perfect in every way. The wood furniture is exquisite; there are handmade rugs in every room; the bathrooms made me feel likely royalty with their rich mosaics; beds were very comfortable; rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. Service was impeccable. Breakfast at the restaurant and dinner are not be missed. The restaurant has beautiful views and delicious food (the morning buffet is a must) and, in the evening, the fabulous dinner made for a very fond memory of Istanbul.

Excellent family orientated hotel in sultanahmet. Everything one would expect of Ajwa. Great rooms, fantastic spa and swimming pool including one for children. Very close to Hagia Sophia and the sites at Sultan Ahmet. The service was exceptional, with special thanks to front team desk with their manager Niyazi who looked after all our needs, the concierge team’s Yasin who arranged hotel transport and travel. Lastly a very big thank you to Ibrahim and his team at breakfast who kept our 3year old well entertained and always had a smile on their faces. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at this Hotel 2 years ago and this one was one of the Beatiful Hotels with Beautiful rooms and great stuff but that’s is what I expected for the price and was happy for experience. The Breakfasts- was amazing and delicious with great view . Rooms - Amazingly designed and clean. Bathrooms - great and clean Pool hours - this part I did not like please note you cannot go to the pool with your husband or any male - because women and men hours are different . So if you are planing to spend time with your family at the pool it’s not happening here and I think it’s should be outlined in BOLD letters , so everyone who is choosing hotel with Pool knows that .

Comfortable rooms in a beautiful old restored building. Soundproofing is very good, making it quiet internaly, despite the busy surroundings. Staff is very nice, particularly the Bell Captains and restaurant teams. A few hundred meters away from main attractions, which is positive. Stayed four nights in September 2025.

I had a wonderful three-day stay at Ajwa Sultanhamet Hotel. The staff were always pleasant and helpful, especially in assisting me with getting to the Blue Mosque. This is a great location, with very helpful and professional staff. Our room is very spacious. Breakfast is great, and you can have freshly made gozleme if you wish. The staff assisted with booking us an airport pickup, a professional guide, a visit to a turkish bath (very much a highlight) and a cruise on the Bosporus. A great place for your visit to Istanbul.

Nice hotel with super friendly staff. Kind and very helpful. This visit to Istanbul was a bit painful because I’m on my fracture boot but the hotel personnel were kind to move me to a room with elevator access and helping sending to my room whatever I needed . I can’t thank them enough and very grateful to them all. The breakfast was amazing with many healthy options and fresh ingredients. Every day they incorporated some new dishes which was nice .

Great location. Across the street there is a restaurant that closes late, great for late supper arriving from the airport. Staff were great, communicates well in English. Upfront very clear when card versus cash can be used. We really appreciate that. Hotel provided good options for breakfast. The room maintenance need esp in the bathroom tub. The curtains likely needs some washing. Other than this minor issues the hotel has been a pleasant stay from arrival, to booking round trip airport transfers, and check-out.

Everything about this hotel is great, staff are super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and bathrooms are up to standards. Breakfast was delicious. Only problem was I booked a floor room and the noise outside was disturbing at night for baby, people are constantly walking and driving past. Location is perfect, close to everything.

I booked this hotel and paid in full and then found out over a month before our departure that we could get 2 free rooms through Turkish airlines as a part of their stopover policy. I asked nicely for the hotel to refund it and they refused. Horrible customer service and understanding of a customer’s situation when they could clearly get someone else to book our room over a month I. Advance and probably get more money for the room. I do not recommend this hotel. If your plans change you will be out of luck canceling and they will not refund you any of the money that they should giving them Amble time to get the room reserved to another person.

Staff were amazing and extremely helpful, we had an issue with lost baggage at the airport and the staff bent over backwards to help. Samet and the Team went above and beyond. Location was perfect and the Hotel was very clean tidy and Boutique.

Located near the iconic Galata Tower, Istanbul, we really liked the rooftop, especially at sunset. The only thing is the elevator is small, so be ready to wait a moment during peak hours. Location: Situated right around the Galata Tower (2 min walk), Georges Hotel Galata is steps away from numerous cafes, stores, and restaurants. It's on a cobble stone street with many interesting vintage stores, the cat museum, and a couple convenience stores, and is relatively quiet compared to other streets in the neighborhood. Rooms: we had a garden suite and a room with balcony. It has a lot of old world charm and was designed with good taste (the owner is French Turkish). It could be a bit dark especially the garden suite, but we were outside most of the day so it didn't bother us. Staff: they have a small but attentive team. Everyone is very friendly and competent, speaks great English. Mr Yasin checked us in and was still replying to my messages late at night for various requests. They also offer homemade juice and lemonade during the day for free. The house cat lollipop was a favorite for my kids and added a sense of home. Other: not much amenities in this boutique setting other than the rooftop restaurant. We only had a drink there but the view was gorgeous and the music was great. Really liked the vibe. It's quite pricey but worth checking out.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Witt. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, surrounded with good restaurants and in an exceptionally good location to all the sites. The view was fantastic from the Bosphorous, Hagia Sophia up the Golden Horn to Galata Tower. Even more fantastic was the exceptional service and staff. Warm, always helpful and very customer oriented, it was obvious they worked to make guests happy. Breakfast was better than wonderful with extensive buffets as well as made to order eggs and coffee drinks. Highly recommend this well run and beautiful Hotel.

A really great hotel in a terrific position. In Karakoy between Istanbul Modern and Pera areas. The surrounding streets feel very local. Great restaurants nearby and easy walk into Pera. Staff are so kind and lovely. Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Very good value for money.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. We booked a king panoramic room and the views were excellent. The service at the hotel was excellent especially the breakfast staff who took care of you. Yeah as everyone talks about the steep hill up to the hotel was tiring but took taxis up after a couple of days. The location is very good and the tram station just down the hill. Overall a good stay for a city break. Definitely recommend

We booked the penthouse and it was amazing. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom great, and the wraparound balcony had spectacular views. The breakfast was so delicious and had lots of variety. You can have breakfast in your room for free but I recommend going downstairs to eat so that you can have more variety. The staff were incredibly helpful. Only issue was our mini fridge was not working, but the staff stored our cold things in their own fridge for us. The hotel is close to the metro but up a steep hill. Also just up the hill a few blocks is a fantastic dining area with lots of cute and delicious restaurants. Highly recommend!

It is only 20 min walk from Taksim Square and 35 min walk from Blue Mosque. The view of the hotel is impressive. You don't need to stay at the panoramic-view room. The hotel has a rooftop with incredible views. The breakfast was good. The staff very kind and helpful. Thank you.

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I expected a higher level of consistency and recognition. My first day started strong — I was treated like royalty, staying on an executive-level floor where the restaurant manager and staff were attentive and genuinely welcoming. It felt like the Hilton experience I know and value. Unfortunately, that changed quickly. Securing an upgrade to a suite was far more difficult than it should have been, and when I was finally moved to a room with a better view, it came at the cost of being placed on a regular floor. From that point on, my Diamond amenities disappeared — and so did the sense of acknowledgment. It felt as though I became invisible; the restaurant managers on duty didn’t even offer a hello or good morning. What began as a promising stay turned into a disappointing one. I ultimately checked out early and moved to the Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus just to salvage my weekend getaway. Hilton should take a serious look at how its most loyal guests are treated — loyalty deserves recognition, not inconsistency. I truly hope management takes note and ensures that Diamond members — and all guests — receive the level of service and hospitality that Hilton is known for.

This was my first time visiting Istanbul. Initially, I chose to stay at the Conrad, but after my friends heard about it, they strongly recommended Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus. They said the staff here are warmer, the service is better, and the newly renovated rooms are truly impressive. The view of the Bosphorus is absolutely stunning. After spending one night at the Conrad, I moved here, and it really made my trip complete. I especially want to mention Sara at the Executive Lounge. She is not only beautiful and gracious but also very warm. She didn’t just efficiently handle my check-in and check-out; she also introduced me to the hotel’s history and the city’s attractions. Goktug from GoConcierge was also very friendly. While waiting for my car, he chatted with me, helped with my luggage, and proudly shared the hotel’s history. He recommended many famous spots in Istanbul. This hotel truly made me feel at home, and it will definitely be an important reason for me to return on my next visit to Istanbul.

This may have been the best short stay my wife and I have ever had at a property. It was our 30 year wedding anniversary and everything about it was amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The food was delicious. The location was perfect. Plus, you can easily walk to public transportation so you may go to other areas. For future guests, if you want to get away from all the "touristy" things don't be afraid to take the ferry and explore the other side of Istanbul. Highly recommend this hotel. We greatly enjoyed our stay here - what a unique treat! Located right between the walls of the Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace, this Curio Collection is an adorable and intimate way to experience the most historic sights of Istanbul. From start to finish EVERY employee was super helpful and attentive - we never had anything less than exceptional service. Everyone from the concierge to front desk to hotel restaurant staff spoke great English so for us as first timers to the city it was very helpful. Also: high compliments to our buggy driver/bag handler TOLGA. And no - he didn't ask to be named in any solicited review like many in hospitality request. He was just great at navigating that buggy through the crowds around the sights, very friendly, and great with our (heavy) bags. Tegekkürler! Our room was beautifully appointed and decorated making us feel like we were in an historic Ottoman getaway. Beautiful bath, lovely window treatments, and even a peek-a-boo view of the dome of the Hagia Sofia itself (we were in the "Pansy" mansion - no jokes, please!). We tried both breakfasts and recommend the Turkish style breakfast located a couple of blocks away at their separate "mansion." We will note this may not be the stay for you if you suffer from mobility issues. The mansions are stairs only and the roadway of the mansions is brick cobblestone and on a steep slope. Not a challenge for us but keep that in mind if it is relevant to you! All in all it was a perfect stay for us to see what we wanted to see in Istanbul. Thank you!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we were treated with amazing hospitality. Each staff member was so friendly and kind. They were also very gracious in recommendations in the area. Olga at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Being a Hilton Lifetime Diamond member we were thanked multiple times for our loyalty and also upgraded to a suite. It was beautiful! There were multiple bottles of water, fresh fruit, and snacks waiting for us. The air conditioning was perfect for the hot days. We did a Turkish breakfast every morning and it was wonderful, so much food. Also, the location is perfect. So close to so many things. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is truly 5⭐️.

Amazing hotel. Staff couldn't do more to help and were so welcoming. Location is excellent no more than 15 minutes to some key sites with others easily reached by walking/tram. Rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Pool and hammam were a fantastic bonus after a long day sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious - variety of options was good. Also their afternoon tea sweet bagel was amazing!

Terrific smaller hotel in a perfect location with views of the palace gardens. The level of service and attention to detail was outstanding. The hotel itself was very comfortable and beautifully finished right down to the coffered ceilings. They provided unlimited, free, and very cold bottled water! Okay Alkan, the hotel manger, made our stay incredibly welcoming and was very informative about a city that he clearly loves. He even went to the pharmacy for us when we needed something. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of variety and a little different every day. I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony. It’s just the right size for two people and we started and finished every day there overlooking the palace gardens and the ever changing activity on the street below. Also, I highly recommend doing the food tour and the cultural tour with Okay. He will show you how to differentiate between the real restaurants and the tourist restaurants. When we were departing, the entire staff came out on the porch to see us off!

This is a central location in the “Old Town”– close to all the must-see sights in the Sultanahmet. We booked a beautiful and spacious room with a balcony on the 4th floor overlooking the Gulhane Park. Upstairs rooftop Terrace accessible – Great views and quiet at night. The Sirkeci is a welcoming, elegant, comfortable and well-maintained (if not updated) hotel. Expect calls to prayer from the Mosques starting early (around 7am when we were there). The stay included great and copious breakfasts which were appealing to westerners with some Turkish dishes. The food selection changed daily. The coffee is ok but not strong and espressos/cappuccinos are not offered. The hotel concierge and staff were professional, friendly, and always helpful. We took the “Taste of Life in the Golden Horn” walking tour led by hotel manager Mr. Alkan (a highlight of our 4-day stay) and highly recommend it. We thought it easily rivaled paid group tours in length and quality. Instead of visiting the major tourist sites, he takes you to less touristy locations (no crowds!), provides interesting historical facts, and explains the significance of places visited. He introduced us to local vendors (a Turkish pretzel” bakery and ice cream shop) a spice market, an important mosque and took us through different neighborhoods to get a feel for authentic local life. It was a unique, personalized experience that was quite memorable. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool, Turkish Bath or massage services offered on the basement floors. We did have tea and small sandwich snacks at 4 pm which gives you the opportunity to meet other guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Sirkeci Mansion Hotel.

Not many hotels in the world can claim to have a view fit for a sultan. Well, Sirkeci Mansion Hotel is one of the few that can. I stayed there at the end of the summer, and it was simply perfect. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional at every interaction. My room was elegant and very clean, and led to a balcony overlooking into Gulhane Park and, beyond, Topkapi Sarayi. If EM Forster had stayed here instead of Florence, there is no doubt that Room with a view would have been set in Istanbul.

Can not rate this hotel high enough. The staff and service is amazing. They go above and beyond for their guests offering tours, turkish cooking lessons with the chef. Shopping and the tram are very close. The hotel is clean and beautiful, the staff (and turkish people in general) are lovely, very helpful and friendly. Fantastic place to stay, highly recommended.

What a gem of a hotel in the heart of old town Istanbul. Reasonably priced, very quiet, walking distance to all the main sights in Sultanahmet district, 30 second walk to the T1 tram, absolutely amazing breakfast buffet, and super friendly service. And we didn’t even use the pool, spa or roof terrace - maybe next time. Highly recommended!

Our first two days were 1/2 hour outside of the city. We took the train in and it was good. However, our second two days were here at this hotel and it was much better. It is close to EVERYTHING. And the service was fantastic as well.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time. The front desk can book a guide for you or tour. We also used their round trip transportation to and from Istanbul airport at a discounted rate. Staff could not be nicer or more accommodating

Very authentic, beautiful, neat and pleasant hotel, all the employees were kind and helpful, at the reception, at breakfast, everyone. The rooms are very neat, spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel has a central location in the city and all city transport lines are nearby.

Great experience ! Perfect place, perfect location ! It's very close to Topkapi, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Tram station is 3 minutes walking. Egyptian bazar is 15 min. to the hotel. The rooftop restaurant 360° view is precious, good food, good music, amazing view. Very attentive, professional and helpful staff at the hotel and restaurant. The hotel is equipped with a spa, sauna and swimming pool. We will definitely come back.❤️

I stayed at this hotel 2 times. The service is wonderful, location is very good. The staff is very lovely, in particular mr. Mehmet who takes care of you every morning at breakfast. The breakfast is very delicious. You can ask for recommendations where to eat, you will get some very good ones. Also, don't worry about transportation, ask the staff for help and they will help you.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Neorion. They have the most helpful staff that went above and beyond to help us with every question that we had, book tours for us, book transportation, etc. Everyone I met from the staff was stellar but special thanks to Farid who helped my sister to change plane tickets in an emergency situation when he obviously didn't have to. The spa, the massage services, the little touches of hospitality, like sweets on the nightstand, all of it make me want to go back to that wonderful place.

We are staying at this very nice hotel with 5 of us. 2 adults en 3 teeanagers. It is our third day and we will stay here till sunday. The hotel is one of the best we stayed at Istanbul. The staff is very friendly and polite. Anything you ask them they do it with a Smile. Dadash is at the reception and he answers any questions you have, Dadash even give you tips where to go. Wahab is a very nice polite young man, when you ask him he smiles and help you with anything. The staff at the breakfast is also one of the best services we got at any hotels! Overall very good hotel. I will write a review after sunday to summon all the good things and bad thing if there are any bad things i dont think so

In the evening, also known as the Prince’s Island, Büyükada offers lively entertainment venues where you can experience both joy and nostalgia in equal measure.

We had a wonderful experience staying here for a single night in June. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The hotel building is gorgeous and the interior is decorated so well. It gave me a feeling of what it would be like to live in the late 19th century. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and they had gluten free selections, which we appreciated. Pool was great as well. The library was comfortable and quiet with a great selection of books and places to relax with the sea breeze coming in through the windows. Its rare to find such a nicely preserved and decorated old world room. One of the managers helped my girlfriend pick out a nice ring and was so knowledgeable about the hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

Having stayed here twice before, and having thoroughly enjoyed my stays, I decided to host a celebratory meal for my graduation at Splendid Palace. The food was delicious, the atmosphere exuded elegance, and the service was attentive and friendly. 🤍

Stayed at the Splendid Palace Hotel on Büyükada and loved it. The building itself is historic (1908) and has so much character. We booked a suite — a bit pricey but worth every bit for the comfort and views. Breakfast was delicious, the pool was relaxing, and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. A highlight was sitting on the front porch in the evening and at breakfast, with sweeping views across the water to the city. A beautiful mix of history, relaxation, and great service. Definitely recommend if you’re planning a visit to the island.

The manager of this hotel is extremely rude. Today we were visiting Büyükada and stopped for a coffee downstairs. I politely asked the security guard at the entrance if it would be possible to go inside and take a look at the first floor. Instead of showing any courtesy or asking what I needed, the manager abruptly replied “Yasak” (“forbidden”). His attitude made me feel as if I were asking for charity rather than showing genuine interest in the hotel. We had been considering booking a stay here for the upcoming weekend, but after such unprofessional treatment, I would much rather choose another hotel. It is a real pity, because the building itself is historical and beautiful, but the staff’s behavior completely ruins the impression.

Waitress Sude does not fulfill her duties. We booked a table, the employee forgot to write it down. Sude started lying that she did not know when the guests would arrive, while she had a sheet with a schedule in her hands. All the tables were empty, but they did not seat anyone. It is a pity that such a beautiful hotel has such bad service

We ate at the open buffet for brunch. The service was spotless. Lamb brisket was the highlight of the meat selection. The rest of the meats were, although soft, mostly flavourless. Desserts were delicious. Milk ice cream was very tasty. Additionally, though the fish were fresh, the sushi rice was sub-par in both taste and texture, due to lacking vinegar, in addition to being overcooked. Overall, the dishes that were good, combined with the stunning view of coastal Istanbul, made it a pleasant experience. I would recommend coming here for special days.

The hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and some exceptional staff (front desk team for example) the downside for us was the breakfast, the display of the buffet is just too far from the tables and the selection is very average, the service is confusing, the male waiters are not friendly at all and neither efficient. The service at the spa area/indoor pool and saunas was amazing, friendly and efficient.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 5 times and I honestly can’t get enough of how incredible this hotel is. I always stay with both of my kids and it’s absolutely always such a pleasant experience. The staff have become like family and i absolutely love the service and fuss free airport pick up, the moment we walk out of the plane we are greeted and arrive safely at the hotel. I honestly cannot find anything to fault this beautiful hotel everything is always so immaculate. I could go on and on about this beautiful hotel but all I can say is it is worth it. Honestly the vibe is just different the energy of the place just makes you feel so good. I hope you spoil yourself and come.

Whenever I travel around the world I always prefer staying at this hotel chain. I even have their blue card- which stands for customers who stays at least 15 nights in FS Hotels per year, as far as I remember. Previous morning I stopped by the hotel just for coffee, but the service was shockingly poor. It honestly felt no different than sitting in an average cafe on the street. I first ordered a coffee and later asked for linden tea. The tea arrived very very late and the water in the teapot was already cold. To make matters worse, the waiter brought it over swinging in her hand, like a picnic basket, spilling water along the way, and placed it on the table wet, along with just a cup — no tray, no napkin, nothing at all. The table turned out getting wet and I had my iPad and my purse on it. What’s worse, she left everything exactly as it was, as if that were the proper way to serve it and simply walked away. I later had to call her back to ask for a tray and napkin, and also whether there should be lemon, honey, or some biscuits on the side. I pointed out that the water was cold as well. It was only after I raised these issues that anything was corrected. At places in this average, when you order linden tea, it comes on a tray with lemon, honey, a chocolate a biscuit something, and of course with proper presentation and service. Here, the service was nowhere near that standard. I pointed this out but I was really surprised at how careless it was. I only sat for a short while since I was waiting for my friend’s meeting to finish, just had tea and coffee and then left. But I wonder, if I had stayed longer for breakfast, would I still have had to deal with such poor service? Or does the level of service and attention actually change depending on the customer — which would be even worse. And as I mentioned, I am a loyalty card holder as well. Truly disappointing. When a single tea costs 500 TL, the service should absolutely reflect that price level. For now, I don’t plan on coming back soon.

We loved our stay here! Our room had a beautiful view of the Bosphorus — clean, spacious, and super cozy. A huge thank you to Almira from guest relations. She was amazing — so kind and helpful! She explained everything, from spa details to breakfast and dinner times, and even gave us great tips on what to see and when to go. Thanks to her, our trip went perfectly. The rooftop restaurant with Bosphorus views was fantastic — delicious food and top-notch service. Highly recommend this hotel! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and real Turkish hospitality.

This place exudes upscale throughout the entire property. Rooms: Stayed in one of their resident suites that had extremely spacious and had all the amenities of an apartment (washer, dryer, kitchen, living room). Linen and bedding were luxurious and comfortable. Great water pressure in the bathroom. Restaurants: amazing views, service, and food at the Izaka Terrace. Hop over to the bar either before or after for some relaxing with same amazing views and dj. Gym/health facilities: wow, just wow. Breakfast: buffet style with typical items. Coffee was a bit of a let down. Note if you booked one of their residence suites, these are located in a different section of the property. You still enter through the main hotel entrance and they will guide you where you need to check-in. Location: Quiet area, a couple of blocks (8 minutes walk) to one of the main streets for local shopping. Safe area. Tip: For some really really good Turkish tea, coffee, and pastries...head to the coffeeshop (Mado) outside of the hotel. It's not part of the hotel but it is attached, just walk out and turn to the left, can't miss it.

We booked a suite at CVK Bosphorus and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The suite we were promised would have two bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers in both — only one bathroom actually had a shower; the other had none, despite confirming otherwise before booking. The mattresses were ancient and uncomfortable (you can feel the springs), there was hair on the bed the moment we entered, the in-room safe didn’t work, and the air-conditioning was so loud it was impossible to rest. Worst of all, my sister was bitten on the neck by an insect while we were there. When we told the manager we were leaving because we couldn’t tolerate the lies, the filth, and the danger, the reception suddenly “found” rooms that had supposedly been unavailable — but as soon as we checked those two separate rooms, they were crawling with insects in the bathroom and around the uncovered food/desserts left in the room, and there was hair on the bed again. We left after only one night. The hotel refused to refund the four nights we had already paid for; after months of back-and-forth correspondence they still only agreed to charge us for two nights — an outrageous and unfair outcome. We have photos proving the insects and the lack of cleanliness. The reception staff were dishonest and rude, and the whole operation felt like a scam. Do not, under any circumstances, book this hotel. It is dirty, unsafe, and completely untrustworthy — save your money and your peace of mind and stay anywhere else.

CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel is one of the most luxurious and elegant hotels in Istanbul. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels refined and welcoming, with stylish interiors and a true sense of comfort. The staff are professional, attentive, and always ready to help, which makes the whole experience even better. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast. It is one of the best in Istanbul—served in a beautiful setting with an incredible variety of options. From freshly baked bread, Turkish pastries, cheeses, olives, and simit to international selections and fresh fruits, everything is high quality and delicious. The presentation is elegant, and the view from the breakfast area adds even more to the experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and designed with luxury in mind, offering great comfort after a long day exploring the city. The hotel facilities, including the spa and wellness areas, also reflect the same high standard. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but you truly get what you pay for: luxury, quality service, and one of the best breakfast experiences in Istanbul. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy comfort and elegance in the heart of the city.

Great hotel in a central location. Breakfast is amazing with high quality choices of all kind- but the real difference is made by the staff, they are going for the extra mile - special thanks to Mr Celal who is the head waiter at the Gumussuyu Breakfast area, he is running a great show - a top notch customer care. Terrace restaurant is amazing, a must try if you’re staying in the hotel - special thanks to Hamza bey. My only feedback is about the rooms - stayed in an Executive room in which the tech was outdated i.e TV is not smart, no platforms available, aircon is old and not user friendly. All in all, definitely recommended and I would stay here anytime I am in the area.

This Hotel is clean and location is not bad, close enough to some tourist attractions but if you want to see the Asian side then you have to take a taxi or public transport, walking optional as most of the streets are uphill and when it's hot and humid probably not the best. What I did enjoy about this Hotel was their customer service, all the employees I encountered were friendly and very attentive, which I appreciate. Now, the bedrooms do need some updating, the bed is comfy, but when my linens were changed I noticed the bedsheet was ripped, the couch was stained and the bathroom shower is odd as it has a half door only, I thought it was odd as the floor gets wet, also, the bathroom floor was not clean when I inspected it, there were multiple stains, so for being a 5 star resort they need to definitely work on those issues. Their amenities are good, pool is nice and clean, restaurants are decent, I enjoyed City Lights overall. Would I consider this Hotel next time I am in Istanbul, maybe, if they renovate the rooms and have better housekeeping.

Hear me out, please. No hotel is perfect. There are always some small things that are bothersome. But, for the first time, every time I asked the staff to fix or help me with something, they literally did everything to my satisfaction, which was amazing. That’s not the case everywhere, believe me! If you see something that you don’t like, just let them know, and they will help you out in every way possible. I loved my stay there. The amenities are great: pool, spa, rooftop restaurant, bar, shisha is served everywhere, even by the pool, breakfast — everything was pretty good. Location is fantastic. I couldn’t ask for anything more. My actual rating would be 4.9. I’m taking off 0.1 point because the rooms and hallways are a little dated and worn, with old carpet, though the lobby and everywhere else is great. There were no mirrors in my room, just one in the bathroom.

I stay in this hotel regularly and what is exceptional is that the service. The staff cares proactively about the visitors and make sure that nothing is problematic. They even go extra mile to cater the best service. Everyone in the team is exceptional but I wanna single out Gizem from restaurant, she always deliver top notch service and make sure to perfect the dinner experience.

Its my first time at Intercontinental and it was exceptional experience. Best description would be quiet luxury. Amazing service, staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are gorgeous and offer magnificent view. Food in restaurant is great. I deffinitely recommend it

My recent stay at the InterContinental Istanbul in Taksim was unfortunately very disappointing. Despite the hotel’s well-known name and prime location, the overall service and cleanliness were far below expectations. The housekeeping was inadequate — the room was not properly cleaned, and the furniture and bedding looked old and poorly maintained. The bathroom was also in poor condition, with broken fixtures that were never repaired, even after several requests. The reception service was particularly disappointing. The staff were neither friendly nor cooperative; they seemed uninterested in assisting guests and often said anything just to end the conversation and make you go away. This lack of professionalism left a very negative impression. Additionally, the manager, Mr. Volkan, made several promises regarding our stay, but none of them were fulfilled, which made the experience even more frustrating. In summary, although the hotel carries a prestigious name, the poor cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and failure to deliver on promises made our stay extremely unpleasant. I strongly do not recommend staying at this hotel — it was a very bad experience overall. Overall Rating:1/10 – Needs serious improvement in service, attitude, and maintenance.

This place has one of the best services in Istanbul. In particular, the guys from the bar, are super friendly and professional. I was desperately looking for a good coffee in Istanbul, and I found the best coffee and service, all in one place. Definitely worth the price!

Roof top pool has stunning views but is tiny and has only 4 sunbeds. Location is good, within very easy walk of shops, restaurants and trams. If going up and down the hill (especially up!) using the Tunel is highly recommended. It is the 2nd oldest underground railway. Short run but that hill is really steep! Hotel is comfortable and staff are generally helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is plentiful and the food is good!

Nice hotel with a breathtaking rooftop bar. Room with a beautiful view over the city and the water. Breakfast very extensive. Bathroom is small but has everything you need. Our room was cleaned very well by a lady called Bedia or Badia. She was thorough and discreet.

Really nice location near the heart of activity. The room had a great city view and the service was good. Smalls issues: yhe terrace was closed as it wasn't summer so I couldn't enjoy that facility, the restaurant did not accept kids so not family friendly and couldn't lock adjoining family room from our side.

Starting with the positives: the hotel is very well located, just a few minutes’ walk from İstiklal Street and the Galata Tower. The neighborhood is lively, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. Our room was clean and maintained daily — credit to the housekeeping team for their consistent work. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The main issue was the noise. Our room was situated directly above what seemed to be a restaurant or bar that played loud music late into the night — every night. Even with earplugs, sleeping was difficult. For a hotel in this price and category range, this is simply unacceptable. Either proper soundproofing should be installed, or guests should be clearly informed at booking if they are being placed in a noisy section of the building. The second problem was the inconsistent service. While some staff were professional and courteous, others were surprisingly brusque. One incident in particular stood out: I had booked and prepaid two rooms, one for my children who arrived later. Although I had already completed the check-in process and collected their key, a staff member physically stopped us from entering the elevator until copies of their passports were taken. We understood the policy, but the situation could have been handled with far more tact and professionalism. Finally, the property itself feels dated. You can sense that it was once an elegant establishment, but today it’s showing its age and could benefit from a major refresh — both in its facilities and in its service culture. In conclusion, while the location and housekeeping are commendable, the persistent noise, uneven service, and tired atmosphere made our stay disappointing. We would not recommend this hotel and suggest looking elsewhere for a quieter and more comfortable experience in Istanbul.

This is a great hotel in Istanbul. The hotel has been modernized but ypu can feel the older style. The room was comfortable, the service was good. I especially liked the breakfast and lunch with fantastic Turkish delicacies.

My experience in Istanbul overall was more than expected!! And at this hotel everything was amazing the service was excellent extremely helpful people at the front desk and at the doors I really enjoyed and appreciated everything , the hotel is very nice and clean and it’s in a great location amazing very central very close to bars , restaurants and the famous street to shop !!! This hotel was amazing. It’s located far from the main tourist area so allows you to have chill nights and mornings walking by the coast of Bosphorus. There are many restaurants walking distance and other areas within 10 minutes drive. Very family oriented area. The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming, always happy to help. The hotel itself it’s clean and modern. We also had a great view !

It immediately gave us the impression that this was a place that knows how to blend style with comfort. We also really enjoyed the food at the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and diverse, with something for every taste. And the terrace upstairs? Incredible. The swimming pool was clean and peaceful, and it felt like a private escape right within the hotel. The whole location of the hotel is ideal — tucked away in the quiet, beautiful Tarabya area, but still close enough to get to the main parts of Istanbul easily. I would like to thank all the hotel staff for their excellent service, especially the reception and restaurant teams. The service was outstanding, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the hotel is located in a very vibrant and convenient area. However, I would like to point out two remarks: 1. Parking Issue: Upon my arrival at the hotel with my car, I was asked to pay the parking fee before completing the check-in process, and I was not allowed to enter without payment. This was surprising since my booking indicated that the hotel provides parking facilities, not valet parking with additional charges. I believe this procedure negatively affects the guest’s first impression and experience. 2. Room Change: I had booked a double room for two persons with a city view. However, after a long delay during check-in, we were given a room on floor (-1) facing a car passage. After discussing the issue with the reception and contacting the reservations office, the room was later changed to a double bed room on the same floor. From my point of view, this reflects poor room management or possible manipulation of guests’ reservations. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff service is excellent. I only hope that the parking procedures and room assignment processes can be improved to ensure a smoother and more satisfying guest experience.

Awesome one night stay compliments of the Turkish Airlines stopover program on our flight home from Athens to San Francisco via Istanbul. The room was very spacious and quiet with a comfortable king bed and well designed bathroom. At check-in Emirhan noted our request for a quiet room with a view for my wife’s birthday. The room assigned was on a lower floor but had an awesome view of ships on the Bosphorus sailing between the Europe and Asia sides of Istanbul. Breakfast was amazing with an unbelievable array of food options. Cansu was very attentive and provided a pot of English Breakfast tea with plant based milk and a Turkish coffee for our enjoyment. The concierge took the time to phone the transfer driver I booked to ensure that our departure for the airport was seamless. We were well rested when boarding our flight home. We booked our own hotel near the Blue Mosque for a 3 day layover en route to Barcelona on the front end of our trip as The Sofitel is nearby but in a newer part of town.

I had an amazing stay at Sofitel Istanbul! Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. The staff surprised me with a lovely and thoughtful gesture during my stay — such a warm and personal touch! A big shout-out to the hardworking breakfast team, especially Maher. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure guests were happy. Highly recommend this hotel — truly a wonderful experience from start to finish!

The internal manager, Ms. CANDAN, was so kind and helpful, always guiding us with a warm smile. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was when surprised us with a lovely birthday celebration. A great location with Taksim square at your doorstep. As usual, Sofitel ensures a luxurious stay with comfortable, well appointed rooms. As seen in another review, I do agree the pillows are too high and firm, other hotels of this calibre tend to offer a pillow menu, which would cater for all. I also found the quilt a little hot and heavy to sleep under even with the air-conditioning on cool. Yet despite this the bed was a delight, with smooth quality linens. Please have maintenance fix the toilet roll holder in room 1310, it is loose and at an angle. Also, the TV screen & room wifi did not match my room number and had another guests name and room number 717 on it. As for the staff in all departments, I found they were friendly and accommodating. I would consider staying here again if I choose to return to this part of Istanbul.

It’s been a wonderful experience! 🌟 The staff is extremely generous, kind, and caring 😊. All the facilities — including the 🏋️‍♂️ gym and 🏊‍♂️ swimming pool — are well-maintained and top-notch. The room service team is also very polite and welcoming 🙌. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a special gift of 🍎🍏 🍊 fresh and delicious fruits from the hotel — a thoughtful gesture that made my stay even better!

We booked 5 nights at the JW Marriott through a travel agency in a Deluxe Room with a king bed. I even added an extra night so the room would be ready when we arrived early in the morning. Unfortunately, the room we got wasn’t the one we booked — it was smaller with a queen bed. After some back and forth with the staff and our travel agent, the hotel fixed the mistake and gave us the correct room around 2 PM. The person at reception was very kind and offered us a free breakfast for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic — served at the sunroof restaurant with a beautiful view of the city and the Bosphorus, making it one of the highlights of our stay. Once we moved to the right room, everything was great — clean, comfortable. The service was friendly and professional, and the location couldn’t be better — close to everything and right by the waterfront, which is safe and perfect for walks. The price is too high. Next time, I’ll probably book directly with the hotel to avoid any mix-ups.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The breakfast was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. However, we were allocated Room 206, which came with several major issues. Directly outside the room is a fish shop, and whenever the windows are opened, a strong smell enters and lingers in the room. In addition, a new hotel is being constructed next door, with two separate work crews operating at different times. The only sleep we managed was between 2:15 AM—when the last construction truck left—and 4:00 AM, when the next group arrived. To make matters worse, there is a nightclub just outside the window. Even with the windows closed, the bass from the club, the sound of drilling from next door, and the constant deliveries made restful sleep nearly impossible. The room lacks proper sound insulation, and no double glazing could have blocked out that level of noise. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this hotel does not meet the usual standards expected of a five-star property. I would recommend avoiding it, particularly if you're looking for peace and quiet.

My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff are very kind and helpful, the restaurants are delicious. Rooms are really nice and updated. For first timers to Istanbul, the location is perfect! This isn’t the hotels fault - more of a caution to future guests of the hotel - the city view rooms can be really noisy. We heard loud bass music until around 1am (tried ear plugs and a sound machine but still could hear it)…The hotel was very accommodating and switched us to a courtyard view room which was much quieter. Overall I’d 100% recommend this hotel 😊

Rooms are not a bad size however Beds are so small even for 2 adults. Nurgul in housekeeping was incredible and made the stay very good! Cleaned extremely well above expectations Hilal, Lara and Ali from concierge ans front desk were amazing! Overall all staff were so good and extra friendly, buffet breakfast was great also super accommodating. We stayed in the 8th floor and it was great, can’t wait to come back. Also the location is perfect !

Outstanding hotel. The staff of the hotel is the best. Very energetic and hospitable. From the second we stepped in the concierge Mr. Halil took care of us with dining reservations and other arrangements to the front disk manager Mr. Kaan who is very hospitable and was very keen to tailor our needs. Also, the breakfast in the morning is great and all the staff from the host, the waiters, and the chef are the best breakfast staff I have ever seen, the chef is taking care of the buffet and makes special dishes, the waitress are very attentive and the host is very hospitable.

Great location, we booked a suite and were quite happy. Breakfast is very underwhelming, tiny, and poor service. Ordered room service and wasnt pleased with food (they claim neopolitan pizza but it felt nothing like it). Wouldn't recommend staying here. Booked using AMEX FHR and was also denied the guaranteed 4pm late checkout

Small room at a price but you pay for the location I guess. Not much view. No lounge accessible for even platinum Bonvoy members + I had to pay for the breakfast, which is typically included if you are Bonvoy Platinum member. Nice crew but the hotel clearly needs to align with Marriott Bonvoy standards. I'm a member for almost 30 years. I know.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Istanbul. The location was perfect, within walking distance to many popular tourist spots and very accessible by public transportation. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hotel was spotless. The AC worked perfectly, making my stay comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!
