Brewery
Banff Ave Brewing Co. is a large 2-storey brewpub offering a variety of ales by the glass or growler, along with a menu featuring burgers, steaks, pasta, and poutine. The brewery uses top-quality wheat and barley grown in Alberta, which are also the region's primary exports. With glacial fresh water from Banff's taps, they produce award-winning beer. Additionally, the establishment participates in events alongside other Alberta craft breweries.
Stopped in to try the local beer options in Banf. This brewery is a fun place! The staff was friendly and efficient. The black IPA was very good. The place was in a feather mood due to the hockey playoffs. We didn't eat but the food looked good. Overall it was a fun experience.

Great spot for fresh beers, Ride or Dry was my favorite! The smash burger was goooood. The hot chicken sandwich could have had more seasoning / sauce. It was pretty dry. The servers were friendly, the vibe is great. Would recommend.

I’ve eaten here many times over 14years and usually love the food. But tonight we ordered takeout through an app, and my burger came with this awful rotten piece of lettuce! I don’t mean wilted from being in the box, but yellow & brown patches from it being days or weeks old! It was disgusting to find rotten food in my freshly ordered meal!!!

A little late to review but better late than never! On a weekend trip with my mom and sister I insisted we go to Banff ave brewing as it is a favourite of my husband and I. We previously had a lot of the fancier restaurants booked for dinners. We popped in at opening for lunch and we had such a fantastic meal. My mom ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and she said it was the best “burger” she has ever had and that the fries were absolutely perfect. I ordered a regular burger and have dietary restrictions, our server Jeremiah was so helpful and just overall a wonderful server. He was attentive, funny and knowledgeable. The nitro pina colada was killer. Thank you for a wonderful time as always.

This is a fun brewpub with an excellent selection of permanent and rotating beers on tap - the tasting selection of 6 beers is the way to go. It was fully packed out when we visited owing to the Melissa’s Road Race crowd but were still well served despite longer than usual waits for drinks and food. A good, convenient and causal pit stop for some drinks and grub on the main drag.
John L — Google review
Stopped into Banff Ave Brewing and had the 12-oz Wild Warden (Raspberry Rhubarb Sour 6.2%) which was a really good beer that I would have again. This was a nice brewery with more draft options than the Three Bears Brewery nearby. Unfortunately the 2nd floor seating at the balcony lookong out onto the street had all seats taken, otherwise, that seemed like a really nice spot to enjoy a cold beer on a warm day.
Ketan P — Google review
We ate outside and was dog friendly. They have daily specials and we tried the fish and chips with poutine fries and the cauliflower app. Everything was fresh and crispy, super tasty. Tried some various beers they had on tap which were great. Def recommend if you are in town.

Cool place, good staff, accommodating of our baby, tasty beers and food. The reason this isn't a 5 star is everything was good, but I wasn't blown away by anything. Definitely worth a visit.

Brewery
Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant is a unique and inviting spot in Banff, designed to make you feel like you're dining in the heart of a forest. The wood-lined interior is adorned with wildlife statues and features a 25-foot pine tree, creating a cozy atmosphere.
The food here was pretty good, a bit on the pricey side. We ordered the French onion soup, the wings and the mac n cheese. I really enjoyed the wings, they had so much flavor and the French onion soup hit the spot on the rainy day that we went. The mac n cheese was not bad, but a bit on the mild side for flavor. Service was great, all the staff were super friendly and there was plenty of outdoor seating so we could sit with our dog.

We had an amazing experience at 3 Bears Brewery! On our second visit, we were served by Eloy, who was absolutely fantastic. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the staff handled everything with such professionalism and genuine friendliness. It’s no surprise this place is always packed — they have their own crafted beers that are simply a must-try! The food was also incredible, and every bite was worth it. Kudos to the owner and manager for running such a well-organized and welcoming establishment. We’ll definitely be back!

We came here for dinner and were seated upstairs. The space was beautifully decorated with a stylish bar and a glass roof that let in lots of light — and closed up nicely when it got chillier outside. Service was perfect. Our friendly waiter guided us through the (beer) menu, which was much appreciated. They brew the beer locally, and as Belgians we were very happy to finally drink good, affordable beer abroad. Even better: it wasn’t just affordable, it was really tasty too! We tried the pilsner, a fruity seasonal, and the mango IPA. For mains, we had a pepperoni pizza and mac ’n cheese. The pizza was basically more pepperoni than pizza (not necessarily a bad thing), but the dough was solid. The mac ’n cheese was tasty and definitely filling.

We visited a brewery restaurant in downtown Banff after seeing the good Google reviews. Since the weather was nice, we sat on the patio. We ordered a pale ale, mushroom pizza, and the beef tenderloin. The beer was smooth and tasty, and the food overall was quite good. The steak was more tender and flavorful than expected, though the prices were on the higher side. Service was friendly, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious with two floors. It’s not right on the main street, so it felt quieter and more relaxed, which we really enjoyed.
Babybel J — Google review
We stopped into Three Bears tonight on our second trip to Banff. We regret not coming here for dinner sooner! Our server Macy was wonderful. Very friendly, funny, great customer service, made great cocktails and was very accommodating to our requests and vegan guests. All staff we encountered were kind and welcoming. Food was amazing, o.s. they aren’t kidding about the crust, sooo good! and the maple old fashioned is a must try. I highly recommend stopping in!

Check out the Happy Hour here. Everything was pretty good. Was really surprised about how good the mac n’ cheese was. The whole entire place is photo worthy. There was also live music. Don’t miss this place when you visit Banff
B S — Google review
I visited this place with my family on a Saturday afternoon. Although it was a bit crowded, the wait time was surprisingly short thanks to the spacious interior. The decor is vibrant and nature-inspired, with beautiful displays featuring animals and greenery, it gives the space a warm, energetic vibe. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into creating the atmosphere. The service was excellent; our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. There was also live music playing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, every dish we ordered was delicious. We had the 7-cheese pizza, perfect for cheese lovers, the Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful, and the Alberta bison ribs, a local specialty that was tender and rich in flavor. The cheesy waffle fries were also a hit, crispy and loaded with flavor. I tried the Pinery Pilsner beer, which was crisp, refreshing, and paired well with the meal. An extra fun touch: they also sell their own branded merchandise, which adds to the charm and personality of the place. I definitely recommend this spot for its great food, excellent service, fun vibe, and unique atmosphere.

Really happy with our experience at Three Bears. Hugely busy, so glad we got a reservation! The beer was wonderful, and the environment was perfect. We got a chicken sandwich and a pizza to split. The chicken sandwich was great, and the pizza was quite tasty, too. We did wish the cheese had been marbled a bit more at a higher temperature, but no real complaints. Definitely recommended!

Distillery
PARK Distillery Restaurant + Bar is a trendy spot in Alberta, offering small-batch spirits and gourmet comfort food in a rustic setting. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu of rotisserie and wood-fired grilled meats, along with unique dishes like cheese and whisky fondue and cornflake pulled pork fingers with maple whisky and bacon dipping sauce. Their cocktails are top-notch, reflecting their expertise in crafting spirits. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a free distillery tour to enhance their experience.
This was honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Canada, and without a doubt it served the best bison burger I have ever had. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful, with that unique richness you only get from bison meat. It was truly outstanding and absolutely worth the visit on its own. The restaurant also has its own line of alcoholic drinks, including gin and vodka, which I found really impressive. The gin had a pleasant bitterness balanced with fruity notes, which made it refreshing and unique. Along with that, we enjoyed a well-prepared salad, tasty beer, and a memorable pepper soup made with their vodka that stood out as something special. The atmosphere of the restaurant is another highlight. It has a vibrant yet comfortable vibe that makes the experience even more enjoyable. We were seated on the patio, which had a lively and welcoming energy. Unfortunately, the inside was full and we couldn’t get a table indoors because the restaurant was very busy. My recommendation: if you plan to visit, make sure you reserve in advance. It’s absolutely worth it. For me, this place was a top dining experience and I would call it one of the very best restaurants I’ve tried in Canada.
Gelareh G — Google review
Make a reservation if you have a group bigger than 5. We had 8. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced for Banff. It was busy. A bit squishy to get around, as you are pretty close to the other tables. Sauces were fresh. Service a little slow as it was so busy! Loud, but it adds character to the atmosphere of the distillery. Bathrooms could be a tad cleaner. Overall, I enjoyed it immensely. This was my last time traveling to Banff. It is so overcrowded. No parking available. I like little stress as possible, and the town was insane. Too busy for me and the family.

Came here twice during our visit to Banff, we came back the second time not only because it was a neat environment however the staff was very friendly! It was truly a good experience and consistent both times! Came here the first night for drinks and the bartenders were very personable and friendly! The drinks were good too, so all around we had an excellent experience. Then on Sunday we got engaged and came here for dinner after our lake tours and had another good experience! The food was excellent, yet again the drinks were good and the environment great! They distill and make spirits here and it’s just a cool spot! We throughly enjoyed this place and the bartender gave us a celebratory shot after hearing of our engagement! We will be back during our next visit and know it’ll be the same!!! Thank you

Food was good. The bbq sauce is amazing. Had the gnocci and was good but not enough. Also had the rotisserie chicken and the gravy was cold. Drinks were half price in happy hour and good. Live entertainment also really nice

Amazing vibes! Such a cool place to go for a quick sit down with appys and omg you have to try the hard root beer 10/10 new favourite cocktail! The hot spinach dip was so creamy and yummy and our waitress J.A. Was amazing. She remembered us and made sure we felt right at home! Thank you for the amazing experience. Your establishment is amazing and such a cool place to visit!!

Food so good we went twice while on vacation! This is a great lowkey spot with excellent house made spirits. Lunch special was totally worth it and the cornbread appetizer is really as good as everyone says. Great atmosphere, location and service!

My girlfriend and I stopped at park for lunch with the dogs. We were seated out in the patio right away. Our waiter Sam was fantastic. We split the meat platter and there was nothing left really good. The observation peak cocktail which I had was fantastic very Smokey and smooth! Definitely a great spot to sit relax with a drink and people watch
Christopher K — Google review
My group the spicy rigatoni, salmon, chicken and the truffle fries. Everything was delicious! I also had a good Mexican draft beer and Moscow mule cocktail. The cocktail seemed light on alcohol however. We sat outside with a nice view of the street and mountains.

High Rollers Bowling & Beer Hall in Banff offers a unique experience with its open-air windows that create a semi-outdoor atmosphere, making it feel like a rooftop venue. It's the perfect place to enjoy craft beers, NYC-style pizza, and the lively sounds of bowling mixed with the buzz of Banff nightlife. The venue is known for its comfortable booths for eating and drinking while playing on the bowling lanes.
I really enjoyed bowling here. It’s a small bowling alley so we made a reservation. We also enjoyed the happy hour wings. The maple soy wings were some of the best I’ve had!

Amazing bowling and 0.59c wings at happy hour. So affordable and amazing service by Katelyn. It was her first day but it didn’t seem like it. Cool, calm collected and so attentive. Thanks high rollers for a great evening!

In town on our cross-Canadia road trip. Headed into High Rollers for some bowling and beers. Such a blast. Good drinks and our server (aka "Winnipeg") was personable and on top of things. Great dude. Oh, and they have great OG video game options. Best to book bowling in advance. Recommend.

This place was awesome! Hannah took care of us at the bar and we had a great time. Make sure you hit up happy hour for $5 pints!

I visited because it was Wing Night with my colleagues. I loved that the wing was fresh and crisp! I had a great time.

My partner and I came for dinner and bowling last Friday night. I didn’t get out waitresses name but she was absolutely lovely and she looked after us from dinner over to our bowling. Great food, definitely a loud environment but that’s to be expected. Definitely want to return when we come back! :)

Wanted to go bowling but couldn't due to it being busy 😭, but the staff was very nice and the building looked amazing, I love the retro look
Austin K — Google review
Gave it a 4 because it’s not a place to come if you take bowling seriously. It’s a super fun place to party, dance, drink, play games, but if you’re a bowler this isn’t the place to come if you’re used to curving the ball and going for high scores. The pins are attached to strings. The ball return ramp is too close to the lane, and the lanes probably haven’t had a machine move over them in years. This is a great place to party, get drunk and have a good time but if you come here to specifically bowl then this isn’t the pace for you.

Bear Street Tavern is a rustic and laid-back hangout located on Bear Street in Banff. It's known for serving thin-crust pizza and Canadian pub grub, along with a variety of craft beers on tap. The tavern offers a casual rooftop and street-level patio where visitors can enjoy their meals. Despite not having an extensive pizza menu, the quality of their pizzas is highly praised.
This place is really nice to have a lunch or dinner. I ordered Baked chicken wings and big bird pizza and I literally had best pizza of my entire life. It was so fresh and yummy that we ate 2 and packed 1 for dinner. I also loved their patio set up and they have those little heaters with fire on the table which kept us so warm on a chilly day. Me and my friends spent great time there. Our server was also really good and she had good recommendations for us sadly I don't remember her name now. But overall it was an amazing experience.
Komal T — Google review
Great spot for pizzas and pints. We prefer sitting at the bar to better explore the ample bier offerings w the help of the friendly and knowledgeable bar keeps. The salad I had(see pic) had a delightfully light and zesty dressing, not overdone at all. The pepperoni they use is definitely a spicy blend which I prefer and cuts well w the salty cheesiness. The margherita pizza was nice but I really prefer more of the fresh sweet Italian basil w it to pair w the acidity and spice of the red sauce, but that’s just me. Glad we dropped in once again to enjoy the warm and lively atmosphere.
RenegadegeeK — Google review
A very nice eatery in Banff, that has a great patio and as with a lot of restaurants in town, is also pet friendly. The staff was very accommodating and patient with our party of eight plus dog. The pizza and wings were great, though the Cubano was a bit too sauce heavy unfortunately, though still tasty. Overall an excellent experience.
Daryl K — Google review
Ended up coming twice during our trip to Banff because the pizza was so delicious and the vibes were perfect for after a long day of hiking. In our two trips we had the pepperoni pizza, elk pizza, and pineapple pizza all of which were fantastic. We also shared a French onion soup and the shrimp Bao; the shrimp Bao were very yummy but portions were a bit tiny for the price. The special beer was a boisenberry variant which had a lovely tang and acidity. Also tried the maple old fashioned which was very much on the sweeter side. Highly recommend!
Jacob — Google review
We were able to eat at the bar with no reservation on a Friday night. Our bartender was super welcoming and offered great suggestions. We had two pizzas, but easily could have shared one. The unique chili oil and honey dipping sauce is amazing!! Great pizza choice if you are in Banff!
Erika — Google review
The restaurant is modern and beautifully designed, perfectly fitting Banff’s mountain theme. There are several seating areas across multiple floors, both indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere is inviting, relaxed, and full of local character. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, clearly made with quality ingredients. We ordered the elk pizza — creative and well-prepared. Personally, I might choose a different one next time, only because the elk flavor was subtle, more of a hearty protein addition than a distinct taste. Still, it was enjoyable and well-balanced. The French onion soup was outstanding — rich, flavorful, and just right for a cool day in Banff. The mozzarella and toasted bread were perfectly done. Overall, a great experience — wonderful service, good atmosphere, and food that reflects care and craftsmanship. “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31) Keep doing what you do with excellence and kindness — it truly makes a difference.

The Godfather was an excellent pizza! They have a lovely Rosemary Chili Oil & honey 5 serve their pizza with which was unique! The caesar salad was alright.

Tied for the best meal I had on my two week holiday across Western Canada. And certainly the best lunch by far! We stopped in Banff on our way back to Calgary from Jasper to see the town one last time. We had quite a bit of time so we decided to have lunch and the place we picked wasn’t open until dinner time. The Bear Street Tavern was next-door. What a lucky surprise?! We sat in the courtyard outside and it was charming. The team waiting on us couldn’t be more pleasant or helpful. It’s not a huge menu, which we actually quite liked and I had the Tavern bowl, which was a super tasty kale based vegan salad. I had a chicken because I’m not a vegan, and this salad was incredibly good. The dressing with sublime, the taste and balance of flavour amazing. And it was huge, my husband and I could’ve shared it easily. My husband had the sub sandwich and it was so good really fresh wonderful Italian Chili peppers. I’m originally from New York and that sub sandwich looked really authentic. Did not have big expectations, and I loved this place . I would say it was more lunch than dinner but depends on what mood you’re in and how much food you had all day but you won’t go hungry here and they also do pizza .

Bistro
Nourish Bistro Banff is a unique eatery known for its inventive vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as creative cocktails. The menu offers a wide range of influences, including Southern comfort food, pan-Asian cuisine, and Italian fare. While the prices are higher than other restaurants in town, Nourish stands out with dishes like build-your-own-charcuterie boards and mushroom-stuffed ravioli in cashew milk-based cream sauce.
We tried this place for the first time after arriving in Banff and were blown away. We ordered the Boss Bear Burger and the Exotic Wild Mushroom Ravioli — both were absolutely delicious. The food was so good that we made sure to come back for brunch before leaving. This time, we had the Mountain Breakfast Skillet and the Nourish Omelette, and they were incredible and so filling. Honestly, this is hands down the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. The flavours, the quality, the service — everything was incredible. Caleb, the owner was super nice and ensured we had the best time ever. Highly recommend!
Joelle J — Google review
A Vegetarian Delight in the Rockies If you're looking for the best vegetarian food in Banff, Nourish Bistro is the place to be. The Big Bear Burger was absolutely delicious — flavorful, hearty, and satisfying even for non-vegetarians. They also offer a great variety of fruity beers and creative cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy, nature-inspired ambiance adds to the overall experience. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and uniqueness of the dishes make it worth it. Make sure to book in advance as it could be very busy.
Parth P — Google review
We’re not vegan, but we always love trying vegan food and Nourish did not disappoint! We saw great reviews and decided to check it out. The food was honestly amazing. We loved everything we ordered, and the cocktails were just as good. Only thing that threw us off a bit was that we weren’t done with our food (we still had fries and few bites left), and one of the staff just picked up our plates without asking if we were done. That felt a little off, to be honest. But apart from that, the rest of the staff was nice, and the vibe was good. If you’re vegan or just curious to try vegan food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Loved their in-house burgers, highly recommend!
Priyanka C — Google review
I loved Nourish Bistro so much that I ate here TWICE during my 2 day visit to Banff. The first time I had the delicious Vietnamese Noodle Salad with tofu. Not only was it delicious, but it was colourful and beautifully composed. The next day I came back for a lighter meal and had the vegetable gyoza. I also enjoyed the home made lemon / lime drink, which was wonderfully refreshing and not too sweet. The best part was the terrific service! The staff seemed to operate as a very cooperative team to provide seamless service. The restaurant itself had a comfortable and calm vibe. Sit outside on their patio with yellow umbrellas to get a lovely view is the mountains. Support this small, independent business! 💛

Super friendly and super relaxed staff. Good ambiance. Most importantly really good food. The menu is creative and divers. All vegetarian restaurant and all upgradable to vegan. It does so without screaming this, in my opinion that is a huge plus and a compliment. Just go and try this restaurant.

If ever you are in Banff, this is a gem of a place. Everything is vegetarian or vegan including the drinks. We were in Banff end of May and were looking for a restaurant with more vegetarian options as well as the ambience. This place fitted the needs. Lovely patio sitting and the service was excellent. It was Saturday evening and the place was packed so we waited for 15 mins to get a table which was so worth it considering all the delicious options on the menu. There were four of us - we ordered Boss Bear Burger, Nourishment Bowl and Wild Mushrooms Ravioli. All three dishes were yummy. And also ordered beer and a non alcoholic drink. Will definitely go there again if ever we are in Banff!!

So nice to find a place to enjoy a variety of fresh, healthy and original veggie dishes. The dumplings were prolly our favorite but I do have to give a shout out to both the beet humus and their marinaded/grilled tofu …both were super yummy as part of the overall salad I had. Thankfully the dressing was not overdone so I could enjoy the overall mix of flavors. Glad the weather cooperated as it was nice to dine on the patio and enjoy the lively outdoor atmosphere. PS- if u get the dumplings and have any dipping sauce left over, I loved dipping the falafel into it, but maybe that’s just me!

Heaven for vegetarians. We got the mushrooms ravioli and black bean burger. The fries with the burger were seasoned so well. And all the sauces were super tasty. Going back again to try other stuff. Definitely recommend. The staff is super friendly and welcoming!!!

Great eatery with splendid music (not live). Wonderful snacks and food - try the lamb shank! The layout and atmosphere is fabulous. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

Our server was wonderful and efficient, and made sure we were well taken care of. We shared the Yorkies, beef barley soup, and cottage pie. Everything was tasty and the Guinness went down smooth. Recommend!
Stephanie Y — Google review
Excellent pint of Guinness. Food was good, I had the Steak & Guinness pie, tasty, if a bit heavy on the gravy flavouring. Wife had fish and chips. Excellent potato skins as shared starter. Service was a bit hit and miss. My wife's main was delivered while still eating starter. She was half way through her main when mine arrived.

It was our third visit to the pub: 2000, 2018, and this year. Whenever we visit Banff, we always have one of our meals at this Irish pub, and it never disappoints. The food was good, the servers were very attentive, and the atmosphere was great as well. The only downside was that the beer, Innis & Gunn, had a slightly different taste than the one I had in Edinburgh. I noticed a flowery note—I’m not sure if it was just me. I don’t know when we’ll visit Banff again, but I’m sure we’ll come back to the pub for another meal and some drinks.

Unfortunately my partner and I were in agreement that this was the singular bad experience we had throughout our entire stay in the Banff area. On the positive side, the decor is good, as is the layout and the quality of the Guinness is as good as home which I wasn't expecting. The service though was dire! Really poor attitude from the staff who were gruff at best, and down right rude at worst. First drink was slammed down on the bar, spilling it as if we'd offended the man (which we hadn't really interacted with). He proceeded to them ignore us despite us sitting at the bar with empty glasses looking for his attention to order another. His colleagues were no better. Observed serving clearly very inebriated patrons repeatedly and regularly at the other side of the bar throughout this time. Very unprofessional and not representative of warm service that Irish bars are renowned for the world over, I'm sorry to say.

Very good steak pie. Poutine was okay, but I specifically asked that as an off the menu item. Live music on the Friday I went and it was a great cover artist. Thanks guys.

Stopped by for a late lunch after being up in Lake Louise. Our server was fantastic, I cant remember his name (only that he was from Manchester.) I couldn't decide between the Chicken & Leek Pie or the Bangers & Mash. He recommended the Bangers & Mash and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious. Everyone else had burgers and potatoes skins (lame). Next time I'm in I'll have to try the Chicken & Leek Pie! Thanks for amazing food and service.

Farm & Fire is a modern restaurant located in the Elk + Avenue Hotel in Banff, Canada. The restaurant prides itself on its farm-to-fork concept, using ingredients from small, local, organic farmers to create a menu with Canadian flair. The dishes include barbecue 'pig wings,' slow-roasted rotisserie chicken, mushroom orecchiette pasta, and flatbread pizza. The drinks menu offers Canadian wines, local craft beers, and unique cocktails made with Canadian spirits.
I had the baked salmon bowl for brunch. It was delicious! The chicken sausages were ok but the rotisserie chicken was really good as well. It’s loud in the restaurant and staff could have had better service, however, the service wasn’t bad either. I would come back again.

Stopped by without a reservation and the staff were able to accommodate us within a matter of minutes. The food was incredible. I have joked with friends that two of the best breakfasts spots happen to be in Banff, and this is one of them. The colors and tastes on the plate were beyond. This was an unexpected delight.

Had a wonderful dinner back in March and tried many items from the menu. Everyone really loved the brussels sprouts, carrots, and the risotto, but the meat was tremendous! Had a really fun waiter who also gave us a good wine recommendation. Fantastic spot for while you’re visiting.

Everything is expensive in the area, so I didn't deduct any points. The 5-star rating comes from fresh ingredients, great tasting food and good service. We ordered 2 kids classics, bison Benny, and duck leg. The portions are moderate, but they all taste amazing. I also noticed super heavy silverware, that usually is a good sign.

Came in here to eat lunch and it looked busy. I told the hostess I understand if she didn’t have anything available since they look busy. She gave me a look and said they aren’t busy. After waiting 15 minutes I got a table for two. The waitress was friendly however slow to fill drinks and take orders. When we got our food it was very good and unique! It is a slightly limited menu and I’d eat here again, just interesting how the tone was set. Not busy but was packed and service was slow. Had to ask for our tab too.

Brandon was our server and he was impeccable. He offered superb recommendations. I ordered the vegan mushroom wellington and my husband ordered the duck for dinner. Our meals were delicious. The flavor profile on both dishes will not leave you disappointed, we both were internally doing our happy food dance. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a laid back vibe with a modern elegant look. The lighting was perfect, not too dim and not too bright. The music was of course, the best era of music.. the 80's. If you're ever in Banff, this is definitely the place you need to visit.

The food is well prepared and quite tasty. The mains are meant for sharing so the portions are pretty big. I got the pork tenderloin and it was made to perfection. The apple chutney with the peppers was *chef’s kiss* sooo well paired with the pork . All the servers are kind and well versed in the menu items. Brandon is a gem .

We visited this place with friends and were very pleased! We ordered breakfast, brunch, and two lunches — everything was served very quickly, within about 15 minutes after we were seated. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. The food exceeded our expectations — everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals, and we were left with nothing but positive impressions. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The only minor issue we encountered was with parking. We had to search for a spot and ended up parking a bit further from the entrance. However, this didn’t spoil the experience — everything else was truly great. Highly recommend this place for a tasty start to your day or a relaxing lunch. Thank you to the team for such a wonderful experience!

Tank310 - by The Grizzly Paw Brewing Co. is a unique dining experience located on the third floor of Grizzly Paw Brewery in Canmore, Alberta. Offering panoramic views of Ha Ling and Mount Rundle, this gastropub-style restaurant serves up delicious handcrafted sandwiches and pizzas designed to pair perfectly with their on-site brewed beers.
The place looks really cool, awesome views, great atmosphere. One of the best steaks I've ever had and my spouse and our friends loved their food as well, our friends said the pizzas they ordered were one of the beat they've had in a long time. The white chocolate cheesecake was probably the best dessert I've ever had anywhere truly. They were also stoked about the beer and said it was really good. Overall 10/10, will come again! ❤️
Adriana L — Google review
I'd start this by wholeheartedly acknowledging that we were the ones who requested an outdoor patio spot upstairs, so we do share the blame with the seating arrangement. That said, I think it would have been great if the person who greeted us downstairs could've provided a heads up that the upstairs patio only had bar-like seating with countertops that were about chest-height (I'm 5'8"). We were seated promptly which was nice and we were provided a couple of glasses of ice water and the menus fairly promptly, but that's where the promptness stops entirely. We had to wait for the server to come by, which really exacerbated the windy conditions outside while we were waiting, but she eventually came out and took our orders. Thankfully my partner had the thought to just order food while we ordered drinks so that we could get the ball rolling. Once the orders were in, the waiting continued. We didn't count the time because we were essentially too cold to hold our phones, but we noted several times that the drinks were taking a long time. Then we recalled the person downstairs telling us they had two bachelorette groups in, but surely if they had the space to seat them, they'd have the staff to serve them (and others?). So the food comes first, which looked great and when the person bringing our food says he's going to come back with a soup spoon, I kindly ask about the drinks and again, we're told the bar is backed up because of these two bachelorette groups. So we start eating and our server comes back with the drinks. No real acknowledgement for the delay and I don't recall an apology for the delay either. The server was friendly enough, but my partner also noted the virgin caeser as extremely spicy, so she would've appreciated a heads up from the server as other restaurants have done for her before if that's normally how it's made, but I suppose it could be due to these two bachelorette parties again. In terms of the food... being in Alberta only for a few days and leaving tomorrow, I needed to finally have a steak, so that's what I ordered. Though it was a brewery, I thought cattle country must mean good steak and a kitchen that knows how to cook it! Well, the steak was cooked too long and I had asked for medium rare. This was not only a surprising disappointment, it was also frustrating as it meant having to sit out in the cold to wait longer for it to be remade, but for a $56 steak, I wasn't about to have one that's overdone. Well we went into flag down the server (in case she was going to be a whole before checking in again) and she took it in to have it remade. Second steak was closer to medium rare, but I almost wish they had just replaced the steak because the second remake of the plate had less vegetables and sides than the one I had sent back. However, given the experience, I just promptly finished it so that we could get back to our Airbnb. There was an acknowledgement for the steak issue by the server, but nothing more. I actually quite enjoyed their Better Lemon Soda and was going to ask about putting them in my checked luggage to take back to BC, but we were so cold and uncomfortable that we just decided to head out quickly. I'd like to believe this restaurant is great and that two bachelorette groups wouldn't completely throw them off their game, so perhaps I'll try them out again the next time I'm in town, but I would definitely expect more in terms service and food for a $120 (including tip) meal.

This place has a stunning building and set up that will leave you in awe! Staff was friendly coming in and we were so excited to try this place! After ordering after waiting, our first disappointment. We got our drinks and were left to desire something else. All the drinks we tried including beer were mediocre. We got our food and it also left lots to desire as it lacked flavor and didn’t hit the spot sadly. We tried many things and it didn’t hit home. Again, a neat place and nice staff but the follow through on drinks and food for the type of place was not satisfactory. Had many other good experiences in the area.

We had an amazing experience at Tank 310! The food was absolutely incredible — the Ash at Sunset pizza was bursting with flavour and perfectly crisp, and the brisket sandwich was tender, smoky, and delicious. Every bite felt like something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our service was impeccable from start to finish — attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the experience, but Tank 310 does it effortlessly. We can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been to Tank310 3 times and it’s one of my favourite lunch spots in Canmore. I love it because it has a free parking lot and it’s easy to get to, right off the highway. The views from the restaurant are absolutely stunning! There are windows all around and mountain views from every table. I like that they switch up the menu so that if you come back, you can try something new! The service is always so friendly and they don’t rush you even when busy. If you’re looking for fast service, I wouldn’t recommend going since they are a bit slower here, however it is very relaxing to not be rushed out and be able to sit and enjoy the views and conversation. There are lots of different seating options here as well. There’s high tops, regular tables and chairs, and more of a lounge type arm-chair table option. You can sit on the downstairs patio which is dog-friendly, or upstairs there’s bar seating on the patio overlooking the mountains. I definitely recommend for a delicious meal! I recommend trying the pizza and the better lemon soda!!

Two stars given for the good beer and the venue mountain views. Otherwise, we were pretty disappointed in the main attraction - the food! First off, if you're looking for burgers you might want to eat at the Grizzly pub DOWNSTAIRS which has a completely different menu. They do not serve burgers upstairs in the summer (whyy) and they do not serve fries on the side. Choosing a salad will also cost you extra. Unfortunately for us, we got the tomato soup which tasted like the marinara sauce they probably used on their pizza. My "brisket" burger looked like hotpot meat sandwiched in brioche with coleslaw and hot sauce. My husband's braised beef was edible but the portion was TINY. They could have at least added some potatoes. The staff was kind but we weren't too happy to be sat at the bar on a slow evening just because they haven't been able to clean any of the seven tables available (?). As we were leaving, I saw lots of brisket sandwiches being prepared and all I have to say is - DON'T! Sadly we wouldn't come back here because the food was not it.

Great place to stop for both food and drinks in Canmore. The host was super friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The views are great and the overall vibe is super laid back. They have bar style seating downstairs and a full restaurant upstairs. All the food we ordered was solid and they have a great selection of beers (as to be expected of a brewery). We appreciated that they have a good selection of vegetables forward dishes as well, which can be hard to find! Definitely would recommend a visit if you're in town. Extra plus is that they have their own parking lot right by the restaurant!

Was staying at a nearby hostel and got recommended this place — so glad I checked it out! The view from the restaurant was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole dining experience exceeded expectations. Great food, amazing drinks, and the cherry on top was the exceptional service. Huge thanks to Rachel, Raj, and the bartender who took care of me the next day (forgot her name :/ ). You all made it memorable — I’ll definitely be back soon!

The Canadian Brewhouse in Banff is a sports bar that perfectly blends the love for sports and Canadian heritage. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists to gather, enjoy great food, strong drinks, and cheer for their favorite hockey teams. The atmosphere is lively, especially during live matches with multiple screens showing the games. Located in downtown Banff, it offers fulfilling meals accompanied by live music and an amazing ambiance.
This is the best value / quality / experience I've had in the village over the last few days. There are lots of options for dinner, lunch, and breakfast; however, this has been the best spot so far. Lots of options for kids and adults, paired with exceptional service and great views. The food and drinks were fast to the table, tasty, and good quality. I would certainly go again.

The service was great! My server and bar tender were super nice! They had drink specials so I took advantage of those! The espresso cocktails were delicious and strong, which I appreciated! The food was good, not great, but decent for bar food. I did experience their Ice Room, which was really cool! Had, probably, THE best Apple martini 🍸 ever! The bar tender was nice enough to let me keep the really pretty glass!

The Canadian Brewhouse has a lot going for it visually. The beautiful mountain view and spacious layout are definitely impressive. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the setting. The atmosphere was overwhelmingly loud, making it hard to have a conversation. The servers came across as rude and inattentive, which was disappointing. As for the food, it lacked seasoning and fell flat in terms of flavor. The one redeeming factor was the perfectly chilled beers, which were refreshing and enjoyable. A great spot for drinks, but not much else.

Location, location, location. Fun sports bar, imaginative food and friendly staff. Humongous draft mugs fittingly served in big county, no doubt. Please stay open, this place is fantastic! The vibe and also the drinks. I had such a stellar time here and drank some of the most delicious drinks. Namely the barrel aged gin the moment I sipped on this neat liquor I had an explosion of caramel and vanilla and it’s just the most fantastic gin I’ve ever tasted. They make great stickers and some cool merch and so far everyone I have met that works there is really cool too! Bravo! I added some pictures but they are not from the place gifts I brought back with me🤣 only regret is getting the small bottles of the gin! Should have gone with the big ones! Don’t make my mistakes!

After trying their rye in a cocktail program from a Drumheller establishment, I knew I had to stop in the next time I was staying around Canmore and Banff. The service was second to none even on the Friday of easter weekend, and all of the spirits were absolutely exceptional. All of the various spirit flavour profiles felt complete and deliberate. I came in to try their cocktail program and spent most of my time trying the spirits straight up as they are more than capable of speaking for themselves. It is my hope they find as much success as possible while adhering to their current values as I believe they are a steward of what Alberta distillieries are capable of. Bring a DD.

Loved this off the downtown path location .. after being overwhelmed all week with tourism and overpopulated spots.. This was super refreshing! The drinks were amazing! I work and have worked in the service industry for 8 years and love a flavorful strong drinks , and this hit the spot . Make it for happy hour weekdays from 6-8 , and you're getting a 15$ drink for 8$! This is a must stop! We had a long day at Banff hiking and needed a good drink with amazing views by the way. ONLY critique, would be the parking... You drive around the building and everything is "reserved for individual businesses" ,so just park on the street and enjoy 🤓

Friends, this place is an excellent time. If you get the bartender/manager Rick expect for the experience to be elevated at least 10x. The drinks are incredible, the ice cube is the largest cocktail ice cube I have ever seen which itself is so impressive (large ice cubes in block form make the whiskey experience so much better and this one is top notch). And the black walnut bitters is top notch, for an old fashioned drinker it is fantastic.

We had such a good time! They have special cocktails 🍸 and between 6-8 on the weekdays, they have happy hour on some of the beverages. The bartender was super nice, and doing an amazing job with the cocktails, they were so accurate and tasty! We had around 5 drinks with a plate of cuts, the price was fair, high quality alcohol , great atmosphere, we really enjoyed spending the evening there. Highly recommend!!!

Tourist beware ! Sampled some of their products at the market and they told us about happy hour $8 cocktails at their tasting room from 6-8. We decided to go. Told the bar tender we were there for happy hour. We ordered the community cocktail and solar therapy. We asked about happy hour and he told use the community cocktail wasn't part of the happy which we understood since part goes to charity. Drinks were pretty good. Then the bartender came around 5 mins till 8 and asked if we wanted to order any more drinks before happy hour ended. We ordered a arriba margarita and an all fired up. Both were pretty good. When we asked for the bill we paid before really looking at it, but then realized none of the drinks were happy hour prices. We asked and she told us none of the drinks we ordered were part of happy hour. She laughed and asked if everything was OK. But she stated there was nothing she could do. So we left with a sour taste. We both felt like we were bamboozled, misled, or possibly scammed. We never found out what drinks were included with happy hour. There's nothing on the menu, website or social media about what's included. Just wish they were more transparent.

This place came highly recommended, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and our server, Luke, was a true 10/10. He was friendly, explained the menu clearly, and gave us fantastic service throughout our visit. Everything is made fresh—Luke even prepared the guacamole right at our table, which was such a fun touch. We ordered tacos and margaritas, and both were incredible. The tacos were bursting with fresh flavor, and the margaritas were some of the best we’ve ever had, with plenty of unique flavors to choose from. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for amazing food, drinks, and service!

Very nice spot to grab Mexican food. Guacamole was on spot, handmade in-front of you at the moment! Chips were so crunchy, I had a tortilla soup and was delicious, as well as carnitas and chorizo tacos. I wouldn’t recommend chorizo, try other options. Service was okay since they seemed to be understaffed, but staff did a huge effort to make our experience a good one. Thumbs up to the kitchen staff, Food was in our table faster than our drinks! Will def recommend, approved by a Mexican!!

I think the cooks were having an off night. As have heard from multiple sources that this place was worth going too. Our drinks (a beer and margarita) arrived fast and was good. Server was very friendly. We had 3 tacos and the molcajete which also came out very fast. The taco meat (beef, chicken, pork) was tasty but the slaw underneath was over salted which ruined them. The molcajete bowel sauce also had waay to much salt in it, which made it unedible. Was given a new taco when brought up our opinion. Overall, service and atmosphere was very nice, liked the music, but the food did not live up to my standards for Mexican and the fact that it was unedible due to salt levels.

Quick service. Great happy hour. And Ryan, our waiter, was so friendly and helpful. He helped us find something on the menu that everyone would like and explained the happy hour menu to make sure we got the best deal. We got the salsa tasting (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) and a jug of the classic margarita. Great experience & great service.

We really enjoyed our visit here! All the staff is very friendly and so welcoming. We tried the pulled beef and crispy fish tacos. The beef tacos were really good but the fish tacos were mostly batter and not so much fish. Also had the molcajete which was also very flavorful only the chorizo was burnt in some spots. Also had the salsa and chips which they do prepare table side and it was very fresh and tasty. Overall it’s not very traditional Mexican food but it was still pretty good. Definitely recommend this spot and would visit again.

The Canmore Brewing Company is a brewery located in the town of Canmore, Alberta. The brewery has a humble beginning, but has since become known for its award-winning beers. The brewery's down-to-earth nature makes it a great place to visit, and the tours are interesting and informative. The beers are delicious, and it is worth checking out this brewery if you're in the area.
Thursday afternoon my friends and I were exploring Canmore and then we decided to pop into the Brewery!! We were greeted by Reid at the bar and another server with a smile and they were very friendly and welcoming. We were the first ones there so we asked to play darts and it was nice to play for a while. When we left Reid suggested us some other places to visit and we had a great time! Thank you for making our experience great

Canmore Brewing is more than a brewery—it’s a local experience. I stumbled upon it during their Friday night grand finale concert and found a vibrant mix of locals and travelers. The band, The Brews, was a blast to discover, and I even got a backstage peek. Turns out the drummer is the brewmaster! Friendly crowd, good music, and a cozy, safe walk from downtown hotels. I’m not big on beer, but the vibe here is unforgettable. If you're hungry, there’s a food truck on-site—worth checking if it's a regular. Come for the community spirit, stay for the memories.

I went 30 mins before close on a Sunday to take advantage of there happy hour specials. They have pints on for $6. I tried the cider. I can’t say that I loved it but I will definitely visit again to try another beer or two. The guy who served me was very friendly and very knowledgeable! The brewery has a patio that is pet friendly.

We had a fantastic experience hosting welcome drinks for our wedding weekend at Canmore Brewing the evening before our wedding. The semi-private space was perfect for our large group (approx. 60 people), and we were able to bring in our own food. Communication leading up to the event and on the day was excellent — the team made sure drinks were tracked properly and guests knew where to go. The bar staff were efficient, friendly, and attentive, which helped everything run smoothly. All of our guests had a great time, and the venue was a fun and relaxed start to our wedding weekend. We would highly recommend Canmore Brewing for any group event or celebration — the combination of great space, friendly staff, and smooth coordination made it a wonderful experience.

Susan was very freindly. She explained the process in a way it was easy to understand. The beer was very good and the environment, very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back.

Such a cool, spacious brewery! Dogs welcome in patio. Good choice of beer (we had a flight) great view of the Rockies from the patio and some indoor seats. Must visit when traveling through Canmore.
Bidisha M — Google review
We come here often for their creative beer selection, but we always missed something substantial to munch on with our drinks. But surprise: now they also serve a big plate of gourmet nachos with really fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream…oh my, the perfect base for our Baha lime lager! There was also a food truck outside serving burgers and grilled cheeses…So nice!

Core Values Cider Co. in Canmore is a delightful small business that stands out for its quality cider offerings, often rivaling larger producers. The owner, Josh, is not only friendly but also deeply passionate about his craft. While the selection may be limited, each cider is well-crafted, with the currant variety being particularly noteworthy for its dry and balanced flavor profile.
Dropped in the other night, and was pleasantly welcomed and had a great chat with the owner. Loved the atmosphere and more importantly the adult apple juice. I love the different style of ciders and what went into them. Definitely will be back next time we’re in Canmore. Keep up the great work team!

Great ciders. Range from dry to semi sweet. They have non-alcoholic options as well for those who aren’t into that. Games for those who wants to hang out. Atmosphere is great.

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of doing a tasting at Core Values Cider Co., and it was an absolute treat! The presentation was fantastic, and the tasting process allowed us to try the full range of their ciders—each one unique, balanced, and bursting with authentic flavor. What makes this place even more special is knowing these ciders are crafted with genuine care, using a true flavor profile that honors the roots of cider-making. It’s a home-grown business with a team that clearly values quality and passion in every pour. Delicious ciders, heartfelt service, and a brand worth supporting—I’ll absolutely continue to be a loyal customer.

Stopped in after a long day of sight-seeing. Had the pleasure of talking with the owners, Josh and Sarah, while trying all the awesome ciders. The wife loved the Pink Moon while I preferred the Diamond Dogs, but all were excellent. Nothing was overly sweet, everything was very well-balanced. Try to stop in, but if you can't, you can find their ciders all over Alberta (hopefully elsewhere soon as well!). Thanks for the great ciders and the awesome chat!
Matt M — Google review
Core Values makes good cider. There's not a lot of variety but what they do have is solid. Their best is the currant which is just dry and balanced enough. The sweet ciders overall are the best categories, but none of the ciders are breaking any taste boundaries. Prices are very reasonable, especially the flight of four ciders - highly recommend that order. You can also find food and cocktails, the latter of which actually uses some of the ciders. There's no air conditioning inside so be prepared on hot days.
Michael B — Google review
My partner and I stopped by on our way through Canmore. The ciders were delicious. Not too sweet and really well balanced. My partner who isn't usually into cider really enjoyed them too! We had a chance to chat with the owners as well who were super friendly and really helpful, plus the vibe inside the tap room is super fun.

Delicious cider, friendly staff and cozy, cool, 80's atmosphere! A must visit when you come to Canmore. Large parking lot immediately outside for easy access. Cidery seats 30+ people, so there's lots of room! Option for flights is available. You can buy singles here, easy to mix-and-match. Snacky food is available, see the menu in my review photos!

Nestled in the heart of Banff, Eddie Burger + Bar is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts. This casual eatery offers creatively crafted burgers, poutine, and boozy milkshakes that put an adult twist on a childhood classic. The Rocky Mountain burger, featuring an elk patty with blueberry chutney, cheddar, romaine lettuce, sauteed onion and mayo on a brioche bun is a standout choice.
Every time we're in Banff we never miss going to Eddie Burger and I'm so glad they've retained the menu over the years because their burgers are delicious! My husband likes the bison and I usually order a classic, but the elk burger is also amazing. Onion rings are also particularly good, as well as the milkshake. The large portion sizes are well-worth and the service was excellent. The only con is the limited seating so you might want to stop by here first to get on the waiting list and then walk around town.

Great burger spot in the Heart of Banff, right where all the action is, and surrounded by historic architecture. The service was excellent and the food is too! The poutine was enormous, made with high quality cheese curds, delicious vegetarian gravy, and crispy crinkle fries! I had the house made, spiced veggie burger, made like a smash burger - it was the bomb! I added onion, and it was a 10/10! Onion rings on the side are made fresh to order, beer battered and also done right! If you’re looking for a good burger in Banff, you’ve found it!

Well located in downtown, place is small, lively, nice and comfortable. Service is good. Menu has different options on burgers, including bison patty and elk patty. You can also configure your burger by yourself. Fries are fantastic and burgers very tasty.

After a poor visit to Magpie and a stump in Banff Alberta, the owner reached out to me to apologize and make it right. We final had a chance to visit Banff again and visited The Eddie Burger + Bar, which is one of their member restaurants. This visit was spectacular. From the service to the food. We could not be more impressed. The location is not large but it is quaint and cozy. Our server explained their menu from the standard food items to the customize your burger menu. You use a dry erase marker on a special menu where you pick out the options you want. Very cool idea and works wonderful in a burger joint. I opted for the classic Eddie burger while my table mates chose the customized option. Over all the food was delicious and hot. A great stop if you like a great classic burger.

As an avid burger lover, this place was recommended to me. I had the build your own burger with a side of crinkle fries and a chocolate milkshake. I was overly thrilled with how everything tasted. The service and atmosphere on the patio was very nice as well. I will 100% be returning in the future next time I’m in Banff :)

They say a picture's worth a thousand words. We had the Stampede with fries and Elk with deep fried pickles; both burgers were tasty and the fries and pickles, especially the sauce that comes with the pickles, were GREAT. What's most surprising though was the raspberry chocolate milkshake! It was seriously super refreshing and not too sweet ❤️ Highly recommend

Been to The Eddie Burger in Banff a few times and it’s always delicious. The fries are well-seasoned, the burgers are big and top-notch, and I love the create-your-own burger option. It’s a small spot so it can get busy, and prices are definitely on the Banff side, but the quality makes it worth it.

I have tried many burgers in Europe(almost in every country),North-America and South-America. Here, I had the chance to try The Rocky Mountain(with Elk patty). In my humble opinion, this was THE BEST BURGER in my life, the taste is incredible and it just melts in your mouth, you have to try it. My wife was not that keen on having Burgers for dinner(three days in a row). The staff is very friendly and always happy to help you. They have an amazing thing going on here, I do hope that they keep it up. When we are in Banff again, we definitely going to have dinner here. Just try it and you won't be dissapointed.

The service was excellent! Our server Louise was incredibly attentive and kind, making us feel very welcome. The views of the mountains are absolutely spectacular, the perfect backdrop to enjoy a meal. On top of that, the food was not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

We stopped by here for breakfast today and really enjoyed it! I had the Quebec Combo, my wife went with the Montreal Smoked Meat Poutine, and our cousin had the Duck Confit Poutine. They both loved their meals, and while my breakfast looked simple at first, the flavors definitely surprised me—in the best way. Everything tasted so good! The atmosphere was nice and comfortable too, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend, and I’d happily come back again.

Service and food both wonderful! I love that they have a crepe/eggs bendict combo! I had the apple, brie and ham crepes with one ham, asparagus and Swiss cheese eggs Benedict. So delicious! It came with crispy fried, thinly sliced potatoes and a variety of fresh fruit. My husband also enjoyed his strawberry/Nutella crepes and his traditional Benedict. Trés bien! Food came fast and service was good and friendly. Beautiful mountain views from our table by the window.

We had our first breakfast in Canmore here and could not have started our day better. It was a Saturday morning before heading to town and we were all extremely delighted with the food, atmosphere and service. The Benny combos were fantastic (I recommend the duck confit Benny with caramelized onions on incredibly airy and crispy English muffins paired with the Brie, apple and ham crepes). Some of my travel partners gobbled up their food before I could get pics but all raved about the country potatoes. We all agreed that we will be back here any time we are in the area. My mouth was watering writing this😎

One of our favourite local places in Canmore for breakfast. Always greeted by a friendly host, the waiter was full of energy, polite, service is quick, coffee is always full and food is consistently perfect. The eggs Benedict is the star of the menu all other choices are a close runner up.

We absolutely love this restaurant! Every time we come to Canmore from Edmonton for a getaway, we make sure to stop by. The breakfasts and brunches are always amazing. It’s usually busy and a bit noisy, but that just adds to the lively atmosphere and shows how popular the place is. Parking is easy, and the staff are very friendly with kids — there’s even a children’s menu. I’d describe it as a cozy, family-friendly café perfect for breakfast and brunch. Such a lovely spot — I’m really glad we discovered it, and it’s now a must on our trips to the Rockies!

Evelyn's Coffee Bar is a charming traditional coffee shop that has been a part of the Banff community since 1992. Located on Banff Avenue, it offers a cozy atmosphere and serves an array of espresso drinks, sandwiches, and baked goods. Situated amidst gift shops and jewelers, it provides a convenient stop for grabbing coffee while exploring the area. Additionally, its proximity to Park Distillery makes it an ideal spot to visit after a distillery tour.
An absolute hidden gem in the heart of Banff town centre for great coffee and pastries! My daughter’s name is Evelyn, so this place made her feel really special. The coffee is rich, smooth, and expertly brewed, making it a perfect stop for caffeine lovers. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, pairing beautifully with a latte or cappuccino. The cozy, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make it an ideal spot to relax, recharge, or grab a quick bite before exploring Banff. Whether you’re after a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon treat, Evelyn’s Coffee Bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality coffee in a charming setting.

Gowda S — Google review
It’s a vibe that all can get down with. Part hipster, part modern, Evelyn coffee bar has outstanding coffee. So much so we came back twice. We got two medium vanilla lattes and of course they did the little design in it! Be prepared to pay for the atmosphere and outstanding coffee. Honestly the best part about this place was the croissants. We ordered two. She got the chocolate one (more like a desert but it had our taste buds poppin) the chocolate was creamy and smooth without it even being heated up. It was like a paste of chocolate smothered inside a crispy crust that was baked to perfection. Just when you think it can’t get any better, if you want to go nuts like me, order the almond croissant. Perfect ratio of thinly sliced almonds across the top, with that gooey paste within. There was not too much, just enough to have you wanting more. The couches are comfy and casual (love the brown leather vibe) but you can also step outside for the view of my favorite mountain in Banff. As always for the bathrooms: I can’t hold it against them because their bathrooms are through the rear exit in the communal mall. I had to go out and go downstairs so they’re quite a bit away away so don’t drink too much coffee and fear of tingling your pants on the journey. For all my loyal review followers I did make that journey, but the cage was locked at seven in the morning. However, they did have a sign pointing me to a secondary location, but I figured that won’t always be the case so we’re leaving the bathroom review out this time.

I’ve been living in Banff for a year and a half, and Evelyn’s Coffee Bar has become one of my regular spots. The coffee is always great, and the service is top-notch. Shubham, in particular, is fantastic—he consistently anticipates what I need and makes every visit a pleasant one. Highly recommend this place!
Sachin J — Google review
We tried the salmon bagel and the bread was stale as a rock, the salmon itself was ok but the bread was not toasted or warm, just cold and dry like prison food, the chicken panini was dry like it was microwaved from the freezer, coffee was mid, the iced matcha latte had huge ice cube chunks, the matcha itself was flavorless. One blonde worker has a staring problem, we are just finding our spot and sitting and shes js staring us down, the only good food was the blackberry cheesecake but the ratio was off, like biting a cube of sugar cheese. Only ate the food cuz it was so overpriced.

It is located in the middle of town. Good size coffee shop. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Reasonable prices.

The coffee was good - I got a cafe mocha with a French vanilla shot - tasted like Kawartha Icecream moose tracks melted, which was really good. Staff seemed to be arguing when we got there and we had to wait like 10 minutes before one of them took our order - that was kind of a letdown. But once I got the coffee, it was all good.

We really enjoyed the place. Tom was an awesome bartender and super friendly. We ate at the rooftop bar and it has great views. Prices were about par for Banff. I loved the brisket sliders. We overlooked the entrance as its just some stairs, but once you get up there it's quite large inside. Rooftop bar is fairly large as well.

We went to the roof top. Amazing views. Ordered gluten free, dairy free poutine for my wife (to be)... It was amazing! She never gets gluten free or dairy free poutine and it was SO GOOD. I had the French Onion Soup. It was very good! My buddy has the bacon Mac and cheese, it was good, not amazing, but not bad. Overall very happy with the food and the views!

Glad we found their 3rd floor deck here as the evening view can be stellar for sure if the weather cooperates. Nice selection of beers, and very friendly helpful service. The bar grub is okay and definitely better than a lot of run of the meal pubs u might come across. Fair warning that the lamb burger, while tasty for sure had far more heat than anticipated, and I like spicy offerings but many might not want a 3 alarm fire that comes w this one. The bun was great and makes it a much better burger than a lot of other joints. I personally liked the butter chicken the best and the heat level was right on par. Wish we could have stayed for the band downstairs as it looked like a great room for a gig…maybe next time.

Brazen is an upscale restaurant located in the heart of downtown Banff, attached to the historic Mount Royal hotel. The restaurant offers playfully elevated fare, such as the Grilled Cheese Benedict and the classic Mount Royal burger. For breakfast, Brazen serves up bold flavors with dishes like Brazen raisin French toast and croque madame. In the evening, visitors can enjoy Canadian classics with a twist from a menu that rotates seasonally.
Our recent dinner at Brazen in Banff was nothing short of exceptional. As parents of a son with severe allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, and modified milk ingredients), dining out is often a source of anxiety. Brazen turned that anxiety into pure joy. From the moment we mentioned his allergies, the staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. The menu clearly marks allergens, which is a fantastic starting point, but the team went far beyond that. They took our concerns seriously, double-checked everything with the kitchen, and were meticulous about cross-contamination. We felt confident and safe from the start. And the food? Absolutely spectacular. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Most importantly, our son loved his meal so much he cleaned his plate—a rare and happy event! He was so thrilled that he insisted on gifting his own drawing to the chef as a thank you for making such amazing food he could safely eat. Thank you to the entire team at Brazen for your care, professionalism, and culinary talent. You provided more than just a meal; you gave us a wonderful, worry-free family memory. We cannot recommend you highly enough.

Ordered the mushroom tagliatelle, artic char and a side of cauliflower. The mains were excellent with well balanced flavours. The cauliflower could be a bit more roasted but still tasty! Highly recommend this place for great food! They know what they are doing!
Sharon K — Google review
The service was stellar, but the food unfortunately missed the mark. The mushroom pasta was too salty, the Artic Char was a great temp but the accompanying salad was basically just a simple pico de gallo, and the roasted carrots were missing more sauce/honey. The ribs and the bread were delicious though! I would give it a try again but was sadly expecting more from the meal.

we stayed at the hotel, and the restaurant was nothing short of excellent. the food was incredible, i had an english breakfast on the first morning and it was practically blissful to eat. on the second morning, i had a french toast which was perfect. but the highlight of our experience at brazen was Tom, our server. the sweetest gentleman ever, Tom gave us tips on what to see in Banff, and how to spot animals that we wanted to see. He paid an exceptional attention to detail and was always at our service when needed. Tom was and is an excellent server, and Brazen is an excellent restaurant.

If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience in Banff you would be hard pressed to find a more delightful staff or delicious menu than Brazen in the centre of Banff. We arrived late this afternoon and after settling into our accommodation we happened upon Brazen and were able to get a table for two in what clearly is a very popular restaurant. Jody took our reservation with a smile and checked on us during our meal to see all was well. Michelle who looked after us during our meal was absolutrly delightful and couldn’t have done more to make our meal so memorable. Such excellent service! The menu we were advised was good for sharing and so it was. We ordered the harissa chicken and the pork short ribs, both of which were excellent and very generous servings. We accompanied these two mains with beans and potato side dishes. We were so pleased with our choices. We had no space for dessert but have made a reservation to return again during our stay and will be sure to leave space for what looked to be some excellent dessert choices. Thank you Michelle, Jody and all the kitchen team who have made our first dining experience in Banff so memorable. We look forward to returning. Be sure to make a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant.

I came in on a slower evening so my food came out quite quickly. I usually come here when I come to canmore and really love the food and atmosphere. Yet again a great meal. The lemon chicken noodle bowl was perfect! The burnt ends was a great starter.

BLAKE Restaurant Brewhouse and Distillery in Alberta (near the BC border). It is one of those rare places that gets the balance just right, stylish without being showy, creative without being complicated, and welcoming without losing its polish. From the moment I walked in, the space felt intentional. The industrial design high ceilings, large windows, and exposed details—gives it a modern edge, but it’s softened by the natural light and the incredible mountain views. It’s spacious without feeling cold, and ideal for everything from a casual dinner to a more meaningful night out with friends or colleagues. The food is where BLAKE really shines. Every dish I tried was thoughtful and full of flavor. The peppercorn short ribs were especially memorable, rich, and perfectly balanced with crisp sides. Even the bread and butter stood out, which is saying something warm, house made focaccia paired with a whipped citrus butter that was unexpectedly addictive. Drinks are equally impressive. The beers are brewed in-house, and you can really taste the freshness. I tried a few and found each one distinct, well-balanced, and easy to pair with food. Their cocktails, especially the ones made with their own distilled spirits, were beautifully crafted—refreshing, clean, and clearly made with intention. One small note: they don’t take reservations for smaller groups, so depending on when you go, there might be a bit of a wait. All in all, BLAKE is the kind of place I’d go back to again and again, whether for a relaxed dinner, a special gathering, or just a quiet evening with good food and great drinks.

We came for our first visit for my Mom’s birthday and were so happy with our experience! It met our initial requirements of a patio with a great view and vegan options. There was no wait time to be seated and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was so tasty and the service was excellent! I especially loved the clearly labeled vegan options in the menu and the server was also very helpful in helping identify what was vegan. The fried oyster mushrooms were great, the big winner was the chat fries, so tasty and I loved my vegan bao with tofu and yam!! My dad was a bit chilly but we wanted to stay on the patio for the view so the staff were so kind and brought a heater next to our table. We really appreciated that! All in all I highly recommend Blake, a lot of restaurants in Canmore are overpriced, have terrible service, no vegan options and bad food, but this one is none of those things. What a pleasant discovery! We’ll be back!

BLAKE Brehouse was truly excellent. Arriving after a tiring hike, the food was a real pick up, with exceptional service from the team. A highlight was the server Alyssa, who gave great recommendations, great time and greatly improved the atmosphere. She was lovely to talk with and I would say gave a truly perfect service. The Braised Brisket: The meat itself was fall-apart tender, with juicy flavor and an exceptional sauce on the plate. The portion was large, and though pricey thoroughly worth it in both savory taste and size. The other parts if the dish, the coleslaw and potatoes were not of any note, if maybe a bit bland. It's understandable as the brisket is a highlight and standout. Electric Cowgirl: A simply delicious drink with good presentation and flavour. Sweeter than most drinks but also excellent, and without a notable alcohol flavor. Miso magic: A solid stout, very sweet and stronger than expected. A great pairing with their desserts. This is a drink I'd get again for sure. Farmers crumble ice cream Absolutely recommend this. Though I'm unsure if it's gotten in-house I would recomend it to anyone who asked. Feels like what ice cream *should* be when you get it at a restaurant.

Met up with some friends in Canmore and we decided to check this establishment out as it was recommended from our friends that live out there. Nice room with big windows and high ceilings, and when the sunlight is out you get a great view of the mountains. We all enjoyed our food and unfortunately none of us were drinking that night, so didn't get to try and of the local brews they had. One fobthe chef's came out to talk to us and explained that the ice cream was also all made in house and everyone at the table tried it and gave it 2 thumbs up. For the dinner I had the braised Lamb dip and it was very flavorful and kind of like a Vietnamese Banh Mi that has a dip.

Dog friendly patio! This place has fantastic food. We ate here twice in our 3 day visit we couldn’t get enough of the lamb dip sandwich! They make their own booze so the drinks are good and the glasses are cool with glowing mountains at the bottom. Service was very slow but they were busy

I have savored nothing short of culinary excellence during my repeated visits to The Blake, and I shall return time and again, irresistibly drawn by the opulent, masterful flavors that emanate from their kitchen, each dish a symphony of gustatory delight.

Absolutely loved the patio experience at BLAKE! The mountain views, string lights, and relaxed vibe created the perfect setting for lunch. I had the grilled chicken noodle bowl, and it was spot on — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The veggies were crisp, the chicken was tender and seasoned just right, and the spring roll and dipping sauce tied everything together. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal outdoors. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu — and sample their in-house brews next time!

Everything was top notch! The duck was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Scallop crudo, venison, lamb tartar, desserts … all amazing. Service was second to none. Morgan was attentive and personable without hovering or being annoying. A++ - highly recommend

A big thank you to Nicholas for making my birthday dinner at 1888 Chophouse truly special! His service was outstanding — attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. He made me feel celebrated and taken care of throughout the evening. The food was incredible — the ribeye was perfectly cooked, the whipped potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the asparagus was spot on. To top it all off, I was surprised with a dessert that had “Happy Birthday” beautifully written — such a thoughtful touch!

Spent the afternoon at the spa and decided to end our day at 1888. Nicholas was our server and he was Spectacular; very warm and engaging and helped us make our dinner selections. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed to make our trip extra memorable in a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. A romantic evening with delicious food.

Start to finish, this was a fantastic dinner. The staff pulled all the stops to make sure my brother had a fantastic birthday dinner and I am very grateful for their hard work in the matter. The hostess sat us and gave us some pre-dinner tips (a very nice Aussie girl whose name I neglected to grab, apologies miss!). Our server, Adam, was clearly a seasoned professional with a book-level knowledge of the entire menu and helped my parents, grandparents and brother determine exactly what to get. The bread service was immaculate, crispy rolls with a soft warm center and a nice herb butter on the side. Stellar. I ordered the Duck Parfait as I love liver, and the Bread that came with it, alongside the fruit spread made for a dynamite combination. Very appreciative for the gentleman whose name I neglected to get who assisted in situating silverware and the like. I got the Beef Cheeks, which were prepared Braised pot roast style. Delicious and fork tender, on a nice bed of grits. I used a leftover roll to scrape the Jus up and it was immaculate. For dessert, my brother was given a little piece of chocolate on his Sundae with "Happy Birthday" which was a very kind gesture. I opted for the rhubarb which came out like an upscale stuffed fruit rollup. S-tier dessert. It really is worth to just come here for a meal even if you aren't staying on property. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is kind, and the food is superb.

We came to enjoy a meal after a relaxing day. Our waitress Lauren was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, the alberta tenderloin was one of the best steaks I have ever had, probably only beaten by kobe steak I had when I visited Japan - but a very different steak to be honest. I couldn't really fault any of the food and it made a very memorable meal to end our holiday. Hopefully we will come back on a special anniversary in future.

Waldhaus Restaurant is an upscale bar and eatery located in a Bavarian-style cottage behind the Banff Springs, offering a Swiss-Bavarian-style dining experience. The restaurant features German-inspired alpine dishes such as bratwurst, sauerbraten, schnitzel, cheese fondue, beef fondue, and chocolate fondue. There's also a pub on the lower level serving brunch on weekend mornings and nightcaps.
Tucked beside Bow Falls, Waldhaus melds Bavarian charm with Rockies elegance. Crisp schnitzels, indulgent fondue, and apple strudel shine amid a rustic setting warmed by fireplace and sweeping mountain views. Attentive, cozy, and steeped in alpine character.

During my stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs, I had the pleasure of dining at this German restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The ambience was warm, inviting, and authentically Bavarian, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The food was generally very good, earning an 8/10, with standout dishes like the perfectly crispy pork schnitzel and flavorful spätzle. While the fondue was just okay, I'd recommend exploring other menu options. Overall, it's a must-visit spot that adds charm to your Banff getaway.

Ate here for lunch after a golf game. Took at least 10 mins before someone came to say hi to us in the patio after being seated by a hostess. View is great. Food tasted great as well.

Wonderful experience, our sever was absolutely lovely, perfect view and I believe we had the best table in the restaurant for our meal. My only complaint is that our entrees were a bit cold, but perhaps it was because we spent a long time eating our cheese fondue.

Overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend this location. The food is delicious, fresh and delivered quickly after ordering. The menu has many options available and pricing is good. Service is also quick, and friendly. Staff is warm and knowledgeable. Able to provide insights not only into the menu, and beer selection but also the local area. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. The location is premium, and has a spectacular view of the mountains and a beautiful running river beside the venue. There is also a fire pit to sit around and enjoy a pint. Interior is warm, and inviting. Highly recommend this restaurant as the food is delicious, drinks are plentiful and the pricing is reasonable. Couple this with the beauty of the location and you have a home run.

Friends - forget about the chateau and a canoe take a gondola or chair lift up to Whitehorn bistro. You will get upscale friendly service without all the drama and lines. Look at my photo of the charcuterie, now add in the views. Don’t be worried the parking lot was incredibly full, but no one is telling the visitors except me that the bistro is the best. We literally had to walk from the last parking lot but we’re one of 5 tables on the patio!!!

The scenery is fascinating and very relaxing! Staff are cordial and friendly but the food is not as I expected! French fries did not look fresh and the burger was greasy and not very delicious and the steak was not of high quality- not even a knife could cut that! Good Earth Coffeehouse in Banff is a casual coffee shop with a laid-back atmosphere and a charming patio. This family-owned franchise, originating from Calgary, offers seasonal flavors and features local wildlife photography on its walls. Located in downtown Banff, it's an ideal spot for travelers looking for freshly brewed coffee, breakfast options, and light snacks at reasonable prices.
Good Earth has great prices for great food along with a friendly and efficient staff! Highly recommend their cookies and the breakfast power bowl. Really nice atmosphere with mountain views. Thank you for everything, I will be back!

I had the chance to pass by twice during my trips in Banff, one time I picked a double espresso coffee and the second time I picked some snacks, including sandwiches and cold drink, all the choices were delicious and perfect. It is located in the heart of Banff and offers good choices for the snacks during the different trips. The staff are friendly and provide a super fast service. It is recommended for anyone visiting Banff
Haytham A — Google review
There was a queue right in front of the cafe a few minutes before opening. We waited around 10-15 minutes until we got to order but the coffee and food were served fast. If you order brewed coffee, they’ll serve it right away. I noticed most customers just order takeout and leave right away. The cafe wasn’t that crowded even if the line to order was never ending! The food was pretty decent, especially for ready-to-eat cafe food. Coffee was great, too. They have a lot of seats inside and more seats outside with a nice view.
Jeanne S — Google review
Not the greatest place. I got the pumpkin pie latte, caffe latte, and turmeric latte. They were all pretty mid, we also got the black forest muffin, which was okay. Their latte art however was really pretty. The place isn't very expensive but I wouldn't say it's super cheap either, taste wise. I wouldn't really recommend it since there are better options, but go for it if you'd like.

After eating lunch at farm and fire we came here to get a coffee and chai before hiking. Upon meeting the person at the register. You could not ask for less personality. We went ahead and ordered and waited a long time for our drinks. It wasn’t super busy either. The barista literally put the chai powder on the bottom of the cup and poured oat milk on top and didn’t mix it then gave it to us and told us to mix it. The chai and coffee were so bad that after leaving we threw them out. I have never had a chai given to us to be left to mix and prep it. That’s the job of the person making the drink yet they still ask for a tip before you get the drink. Highly expensive and not worth the money. Definitely go somewhere else!!!!

Best experience ever! Loved the somewhat sunrise but the view was breathtaking. Also, the employees were friendly and polite. The hot chocolate was awesome, will be back!

Great oat milk cappuccino! Their expresso is excellent too. They also had quite a few vegan items in their pastry case. The iconic circle of red chairs outside looked inviting but are usually occupied in nice weather.

Amu -Ramen Bar- is a cozy Japanese kitchen located on Banff Avenue, offering a variety of noodle soups, rice bowls, and Japanese snacks. The restaurant has a low-key ambiance and friendly staff. It's known for its delicious ramen variations and monthly menu features. In addition to the tasty food, they also serve smooth Japanese beer from the Kiuchi Brewery in Japan.
Slurp-Alicious!!! Trust me and try this place out to see how good it is. This is the BEST ramen I have ever had, hands down. I literally cannot explain how tasty the spices and broth are. I really like the minced tofu which works really good also. Staff are really friendly and nice, it’s a very cosy joint and even better, one of the cheapest (and the best) food joints in Banff. We found this whilst on a road trip out of town and it beats everything West Coast I have eaten outside of Japan itself within reason. Please open a restaurant in Vancouver ASAP!! Adam from Van.

Why is the best Ramen place in Alberta in Banff? We love ramen and tried almost all of the hole-in-the wall places in Calgary and Edmonton, and Amy Ramen Bar is by far The Best in the province. Located inside a strip mall in Banff. You have to be there early cause they only have a limited seating capacity (around 8-10). Price wise, it’s expensive considering a bowl only consists of broth, a little meat and noodles. That’s it. You have to buy the extra egg, chasu pork, bamboo shoots, nori, etc. I ordered the Miso TanTanmen without additional toppings, and it still the best I’ve had so far! Noodles has a firm texture, their miso broth was creamy delicious with just a little spicy kick, ground meat was just enough to not overwhelm the bowl or the flavour of the soup. I finished the entire thing in just 5 minutes and seriously thought of trying the other broths. Service was amazing and fast! They also have mini Japanese groceries inside such as Kewpie mayo, Pocky snacks and more. Definitely coming back next time!
Nomad_paul — Google review
EDIT- Call before you go if it's an hour before closing. Showed up at 1815 on a Tuesday on 05/09 and they were closed for the day even though sign says open till 1900. First off this place does not have any signage that is visible from Banff avenue. You'll find it at 199 Banff- which is Kirby Lane mall entrance. Just go through the doors and walk straight downstairs. This is bar seating with a counter that allows maybe 10 persons total. So if it's busy you might have a bit of a wait. Staff is friendly and took our order quickly. I had the Tan Tan ramen which was pretty good. My GF had the shoyu paitin(?) ramen which was really good. The noodles were perfectly done. For reference I live in Hawaii and we have lots of very good ramen shops and I've been to Japan and had tons of ramen there as well. Is this "the best" nope. But you're not in Japan are you? So make do with what I would consider top 3 I've eaten outside of Japan. Price is about 16 CAD for their ramen with extras all adding to that, mushrooms, egg, char shu etc can really add up fast so be aware. They do have a web site so you can see the current base price there.
Will — Google review
My mind was blown away when I first stepped in into this ramen place, the lady running the whole shop all by herself alone!! (Taking orders, cooking, serving, washing dish) It’s not easy!! I tried the Shio-paitan and my friends tried the Shoyu-paitan and the miso tan-tan. The broth was sooooooo good, I felt so warm and cozy especially after the visit to the Banff Gondola. I also had the nikumiso-kimchi bowl, it was a bit expensive while it’s only a small bowl of rice ($13.80) compare to a bowl of ramen ($17.80) But it’s tasty. I didn’t get the chance to try the beer, they are all Japan imports, I might want to try the Yuzu Lager if I get the chance again. *last tips* Don’t go in with big groups, 4 is maxed. And please be patient for being seated since it’s a “One-Man-Show”.
Hanachan ( — Google review
This place was amazing! Was not expecting to find such great ramen in somewhere like Banff. We got the shoyu paitin and the curry laksa special and they were both so rich and flavourful. I love rich creamy ramen broth and this hit the spot. I also think this is great value for Banff and comparable to ramen from Vancouver. Great service as well, thank you!
Johnny C — Google review
1/28/22: Today was very cold and having ramen this delicious made it wonderful. There was two of us. Only 4 at the bar when we arrived. Bar sits about 12. I ordered the miso tan tan and my dining partner order the laksa. The noodles are spot on. Cooked al dente with a nice bite. Both broths were full of flavor and a bit spicy. Highly recommended. They have a little corner of Japanese snacks and beverages. If you love Japanese Kit Kats, they have them!
Darnell K — Google review
Find it a little hard to locate as there’s no signage outside.. it has a little space inside a establishment. But it’s all worth it. Satisfied my ramen cravings after a cold winter activity. Probably the best ramen there is in Banff. It’s clean and service was fast. When I’ll come back to Banff I will definitely try some more of their ramen in the menu!!!
Queen T — Google review
We were in Banff for the weekend and were craving some Ramen. We found this spot, and it was reviewed very well. We ended up going with the vegetarian options, as we can’t have pork. Surprisingly it was a great broth, despite being all vegan. This particular ramen bowl is called Miso Tan Tan. The noodles tasted great and the broth was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone that can’t have pork broth. Follow us on Instagram for more stuff! @eatityyc

Hidden Ridge Resort is a tranquil retreat nestled on Tunnel Mountain, just a short drive from Banff. The resort offers a variety of accommodations including 2-bedroom apartments, spacious lofts, and multi-room options with amenities like kitchens, fireplaces, and large balconies. Guests can also book jacuzzi suites for an extra luxurious experience. The resort features hot tubs with stunning mountain and valley views as well as natural hot pools overlooking Bow Valley.
The rooms are very big, I chose the loft with a kitchen and master bedroom plus two double beds. The room I chose had a fireplace, they will provide you with fire-starter and free fire wood. Such a nice, cozy cabin. The pool has an amazing view of the mountains. I spent a lot of time in the hot tub. And they have room service that will change your towels and garbage every day. They provide complimentary soaps that are high quality. Definitely worth the price.

A solid choice to stay, especially with a family. The rooms have the items you need to prep food for a long day enjoying the parks. There is a nice sauna and hot tub to relax in after that long day. BBQ grills and picnic tables to use for free. Heated underground parking. We had a room with a basement with a game table and wii which was great, only wish it had a gate because the stairs are very steep. Other than that, loved our stay!

We wish we had spent more than one night here. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from the hot tub are unique and divine! The free amenities like a free roam bus pass was fantastic! Also appreciate that they will lend you free bear spray while you stay there for hikes. The rooms were well equipped, a little on the dated side but still clean and all functional and comfortable. Firewood was all included. Good walking paths to town if you wanted as well. A great quiet place to unwind! Recommend! Tip- bring a house coat and slippers for the hot tub/sauna to walk there/ back. They have towels there.

Had a GORGEOUS stay here! We Rented the premier 2 bedroom condo! The views were incredible and the hot tub and hot pool were spacious with incredible views as well! It was about a 5-6 minute drive to downtown, or they had free shuttle services from the resort, included with our stay! We were able to get downtown in 10 minutes and not have to worry about parking either! In addition to the spacious condos there was ample parking (albeit tight parking spots) We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend Hidden Ridge to anyone looking to stay in Banff!
Hannah D — Google review
I wanted to love Hidden Ridge — and parts of me really do. The resort feels like a little alpine village: cozy cabins and condos with fireplaces and full kitchens, tucked into the forest so you feel far from the everyday world. The hot tub was a true delight after a long day of hiking, and the quiet, nature-filled setting is just what a mountain getaway should feel like. The staff are pleasant, and the shuttle / free bus passes to Banff town are a nice touch that helps mitigate its slightly remote location. Rooms are roomy and comfortable, though the decor shows its age and some units need better maintenance. But here’s the deal-breaker for me: the Wi-Fi. It was so spotty I often felt like I might as well be sending smoke signals. In a world where even “escape” destinations are expected to deliver basic, reliable Internet connectivity, this felt like a failure. I could imagine many guests now basing their hotel decisions on this alone. Consider the math: at a nightly rate of ~$520, the resort’s nightly revenue easily dwarfs the cost of installing a robust satellite or fiber link (for instance, a Starlink kit + $140/month internet service). Investing in decent Internet probably pays for itself in happier guests, better reviews, and more repeat business. If you’re going for a fully unplugged retreat, Hidden Ridge delivers in style — just don’t arrive expecting to post your mountain selfies without a fight. But if you’re someone who still values a little digital lifeline, this one will drive you mad. Still, I’d revisit, because the rest of the experience — the views, the ambiance — is genuinely special. Just bring patience (or a backup hotspot).

Mixed Feelings! We stayed mid-Oct. just after Thanksgiving. This was our third or fourth stay over the past years. We had a deluxe one bedroom unit with a 'loft' - 688 sq. ft. There were 2 queens in the loft, one in the main floor bedroom, plus a double pull-out in the main living area. There were two night tables in the single bedroom and one in the loft, plus a single end table next to the pull-out in the living area. The loft had a double bureau for clothes, and the entryway had a small open closet. The bedroom had a 4 hook coat rack. These were the only clothes storage spaces. The main floor had a small full bath with tub and shower. The loft had its own small powder room with toilet and sink. Both worked fine. There was a small kitchenette with appliances, a good sized table, and six chairs. The kitchenette size requires compact-sized appliances. A coffeemaker and toaster were included. Some coffee, tea and powdered fixings were provided. There was a nice stone-surround fireplace in the living area, with a 40" TV over it. There were smaller TV's in each bedroom. There was basic cable TV service, and on-site wireless internet (no password). Both were passable. There are big hot tubs and a sauna next to the main office building. There are firewood bunkers located around the property, and the office provides kindling and matches. There's return bus service to town about every 25 min. The resort gets 2-3 for condition and 5 for location and service - for an overall 3. Positives are the location, views, and amenities like hot tubs, bus service and unit fireplaces. Negatives are the dated condition of the units and appliances, the very tight unallocated parking spaces, and the strong to very strong smell of woodsmoke in the units. The kitchenette was kitted out with minimal bottom-of-the-line kitchen fittings. Minor - but annoying - were an unplugged stove burner (fixed quickly), a toaster that would only pop when unplugged, no fruit nappes, only one small baking tray, scissors that wouldn't cut, and no step stool for high storage shelves. Last, there were only 2 large pots to use with the smallest 3.5 liters! The two frying pans were fine. The living area could use a floor lamp for better lighting. There was only a single pullout couch for all of us to relax on. Any more than 3 occupants can only sit on a dinnette chair or on the floor. Each unit has a parking space, but they are unallocated. If a unit's occupants have 2 or more cars, it can force others to park elsewhere. It can be like "whack-a-mole"! If you park late in the day you might have a hike to your unit. FYI there is underground parking, but we didn't try it. The unit did, honestly, smell like an ash can. We can live with wood smoke odour 24/7, but if you can't you should seek other accommodation. Overall we had very mixed feelings about our stay at Hidden Ridge regards condition, amenities and price point. On a strictly "rooms" basis it's overpriced. If you're a young ski party of 6 or 8 people seeking cheap accomodation it might be great. If that's not you - plan accordingly.

Beautiful view from the hot tub on our private deck :) Its just wonderful here. Warmer than average with low humidity. If I could give 10 stars for the customer service I would. The front desk was over the top accommodating to our needs. "We" goofed up our reservation and they were able to extend our stay the extra day we needed before flying out. Our second room here was nestled in the pine trees and I spent our last afternoon listening to the wind blow through the pines. Very relaxing!!

I stayed at Banff Caribou Lodge for 4 nights and had a great experience overall. I did a late check-in and had already informed the hotel — the process was smooth and hassle-free. The room was very clean and well-maintained. I had a small issue with the pillows being too large, but when I requested smaller ones, the staff responded immediately and provided them without delay. My flight was rescheduled, so I requested a late checkout. Although my room wasn’t available for an extension, the staff kindly offered to store my luggage until the evening, which was very helpful. I picked up my belongings around 6 PM before heading out. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with the service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Banff.

The Caribou is in a good location in Banff, an easy 12 minute walk to town and convenient to the Roam bus service. We stayed in a corner suite with a large tub. The room and lobby are dated but clean and pleasantly decorated for a 90s mountain vibe. The room has a loft accessed by steep stairs. Lighting was fine for that mountain vibe but horrible for applying make-up or distinguishing black from blue socks. The room does not have AC and was very hot despite cool weather outside. The hotel “pool” is a large hot tub, which was clean and relaxing for adults. My kiddo was not pleased about the pool deception. Luckily, Banff is so beautiful and offers many activities that we hardly spent time in the room.

This hotel is very well decorated and it has the best hot spa/pool we’ve ever seen. The location is good but it’s a bit out of the main section of town. It’s still very walkable. The bed was okay, not great. The only problem we had were the overstuffed pillows. We ended up asking for pillowcases for the the 2 sofa pillows… Without good pillows comfort is really impossible…. Overall the experience was fine. Clean and friendly. I loved the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. But those pillows are ridiculous.

Rooms are acceptable. No coffee in the room or complimentary in lobby, so you’ll need to pay $4 for a small or walk to the gas station. Otherwise it was alright but I’ve stayed in nicer rooms for much less.
Scott U — Google review
Great location! It's on the main street of Banff so it's super easy to walk downtown. The hotel also gives the guest free bus passes to take to downtown so that's super helpful! Free parking available too! Rooms are good sizing. One con is that there is NO AC! Every room has a fan but remember, NO AC!
Sally O — Google review
Absolutely avoid this hotel. Their spa, pool and fitness was out for maintenance for almost a week and they did not inform the guests about it. I would have changed my reservation if I knew that. The pool was out of commission on October 19 and I checked in on the 21st. They had time to email the guests to let them know. Then, they overcharge my credit card 3 times and when I called to have an explanation, the person told me it's normal. I called my bank and they told me that it's not normal to put on hold the amount multiple times so I had to call the hotel back. They could not fix my issue on the phone so now I am waiting to hear from them. I am out of $3000 and this does not seem like an urgency for this hotel. This is the worst customer service I have ever had.
Emilie S — Google review
The location is good — a little further down the main strip, which actually makes it quieter and more peaceful. The service was good; the reception staff were efficient and helpful. If you’re expecting five-star luxury, this might not be the place, but I personally preferred their more laid-back approach. The hot pool was lovely, though unfortunately it was closed for two days during our stay last week. One odd detail: the hotel has air conditioning in the hallways but not in the rooms — still not sure what the thinking was there

Check in was very slow due to computer snd terminal issues. Check out wss better but slow as well. Parking garage door not working and my passenger had to get out amd push the open button on the wall.

Moose Hotel & Suites is a well-appointed hotel that boasts outdoor hot pools, a spa, and a gym. The hotel's history dates back to 1890 when it was just a simple log cabin with two rooms. Today, it stands as an impressive establishment on the shore of Lake Louise in the Canadian Railway Hotels' Gothic style. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the glacier-fed emerald oasis of Lake Louise and its surrounding mountains and forests.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at The Moose Hotel in Banff was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of town, with incredible views of the mountains and easy access to shops, restaurants, and trails. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. Our room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. We especially loved the rooftop hot pools—such a unique and peaceful experience with amazing views! We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend The Moose Hotel to anyone visiting Banff!

We loved our 3 night stay in Room 314 at the Moose hotel! Perfect location and a great one bedroom suite. Fireplace in living room which we didn’t use but would be great in winter. We were concerned about air conditioning because we like to sleep cold and last time in Banff, we stayed in a different hotel chain, the advertised AC did not work. The AC at Moose is divine! The lobby is beautiful and I loved the little balcony too. Minimal kitchen supplies but we loved having a toaster and silverware along with mini fridge and coffee maker for quick breakfasts. Super easy self parking with lots of spaces too. I left an item in the room upon checkout and didn’t realize until the next day. They found it and are arranging ups delivery back to me! Will stay again!

We loved our stay at this hotel. Very helpful front desk staff. Nice restaurant. Nice hot tub with fantastic views. It will be amazing once the outdoor pool renovation is complete. But for our stay, it was still a great facility with fabulous views. The renovation wasnt a problem for us. We thought the location was good.

This is a really nice place to stay in Banff! The staff are very friendly, nice, and professional! The room was very spacious and even the beds were comfortable. I was on the first floor, so I didn't have a good view outside, but it's ok. The AC worked well! The parking garage was free, so that was good. The breakfast restaurant had really good food! Overall, I recommend staying here! It's located right in the middle of town and easy to walk to shops and restaurants!
MrX13 — Google review
Beautiful property! Great location, under ground parking, well maintained with very well equipped rooms. Roof top pool, hot tub and fire pit were awesome and the exercise room was well equipped. Front desk team was very helpful and we appreciated the lobby bar and the Italian restaurant. We sat outside for dinner and the staff were so helpful in moving us when it began to rain.

We chose the Moose Hotel & Suites for our honeymoon in Banff. Our check-in experience left us scratching our heads... I mentioned to the front desk clerk that we were on our honeymoon and asked for recommendations on easy hikes that an 8-month visibly pregnant person (that's me!) could safely enjoy without too much strain. But then, in the next breath, he offered us complimentary glasses of wine at the bar to celebrate our special occasion. Um... wine? For a very pregnant newlywed? It was such an awkward moment... I was stunned for a second, but it felt like he hadn't really been listening or connecting the dots. A non-alcoholic alternative or just some chocolates would have been more thoughtful. We had to go back to guest services 3 times to get a room that was clean after that. The only good thing was the easy access to downtown Banff's shops and restaurants. They could use a bit more attentiveness to guests' personal situations. We'd probably return, but maybe not for a milestone or a special event!
Christine L — Google review
The hotel itself is decent enough. My partner took a bad fall on the ice on the cement stairs leading down from the upper floors on the side of the building. The spa was terribly disappointing! Paid for Felix mani and pedi for myself and pedi for my partner. Massage and paragon included in this treatment. She forgot the massage and paragon for my mani, forgot the massage for my pedi, and did not massage my partner for his pedi either. When it's 100$ for a pedi you need to do all the things, ok? We wanted a luxury spa exp and got sport pedicures that should be half the price. The esthetician ? Not sure of training she had, but she was a lovely person in general, and what she did do, she did reasonably well enough (her polishing skills need work) but forgetting half the service is just not ok. Overall the food was not very good in town, we ended up going to Canmore for food. This was our third or fourth trip to Banff but it turned us off entirely. We will find another place to vacation for next time. 7/10 very mid. Which would be fine if it was half the price. But way too spendy for what you get

We usually like staying at the Moose Hotel. The location is great, and the suites are comfortable; however, we experienced some disappointment with the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel. Not sure that we would like to stay there on our future visits to Banff.

Nestled in the heart of Banff, Mount Royal Hotel offers a modern twist on a classic mountain retreat. The hotel features cozy rooms with picturesque mountain views, USB charging stations, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Guests can unwind in the rooftop hot tubs or enjoy creative cocktails and shareable plates at the Cascade Lounge. The Centennial Rooms boast plush beds and themed decor, providing unobstructed vistas of Banff Avenue or Tunnel Mountain.
Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City We had a fantastic experience at this modern, stylish hotel! The rooms are a great size—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The location couldn’t be better—right on Main Street and just steps away from great shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. One of the best features is the beautiful rooftop hot tub and lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Parking is also convenient and affordable at just $5 on-site. A couple of notes: The hot tub is limited to four people at a time, which helps keep the atmosphere relaxing but may mean a short wait during peak hours. Rooms facing Main Street can get a bit noisy at night due to nearby clubs, but the hotel provides a sound machine and earplugs to help with that. If availability allows, they also offer the option to choose a quieter room off the street, which is a thoughtful touch. All in all, a fantastic stay with excellent amenities and service in an unbeatable location!
Britney P — Google review
This place is phenomenal! I recently stayed at Mount Royal Hotel, and it was such a wonderful place to stay, all around! The rooms were cozy, and pretty aesthetically pleasing. I loved the big window as well, you could look down at the street, or up to a beautiful view of the mountains. My experience with the staff was great as well, they were all very kind and helpful. I love how clean everything is, and the bathrooms were gorgeous and everything was laid out efficiently. Bonus points for a comfortable bed, the mini library and 'museum' on the second floor, as well as the splendid hot tubs on the rooftop by the lounge. The views from the hot tubs are incredible, and it creates an especially gorgeous and captivating atmosphere if you go in the evening or at night. Additionally to all of this, what makes this hotel so brilliant is its convenient location, as it is located right on Main Street, downtown. This added an extra positive for us, since we spent quite a bit of our stay in Banff in the downtown or shops near our hotel, and could easily come back and drop stuff off or take a break. It's also better for the environment, as the shorter walking distance decreases the desire or need to travel by vehicle, increases people walking and decreases using cars or other vehicles running on gas, and keeps the air cleaner and helps the National Park thrive. It's also extremely difficult to find parking in Banff, so it was exceptionally beneficial to park our car in the parking lot and walk most places. There are also public transit options available in the Banff area. All around, this was a truly exceptional hotel! Would recommend!
Hannah — Google review
Our room faced main road and didn't find road noise too bad. Nice rooftop hot tub but only allowed 4 persons at a time, it would hold more. Room comfortable but sliding door to bathroom very heavy to slide closed! Tea cups too small for a decent brew. Bathroom well equipped with good light. As regards the tv, this was the worst system I've come across, no indication of where the guide is (it's Channel 16) then it scrolls round on its own! Our tour company did not pay for meals so can't comment
Alan W — Google review
Room very dark , couple of hot tubs on roof doesnt scream luxury? No spa or gym or pool. In todays times this should be standard. The lifts are rickety and squeaky, this hotel isnt cheap also . No room sevice either is a let down .would definitely try other hotels in the area at the same rate that offer more .
Ray L — Google review
Do not be fooled by 'Mia' this is not a person it is an automated menu, rude at times, that lies when you ask if it is an automated or a robot, then passes you off to another automated menu before you can opt to speak to the front desk. It does not seem management has called it themselves to understand the customer experience they are creating. Kristina Fox would be a good resource for your hotel turnaround. First impression, the rest to be seen.
RyanCartiers — Google review
Nice option, once you get over Banff sticker shock. $500 a night, for neat, updated but not fancy room. Great central Banff Location, free parking, walk 5 min to all main shops, 15 minutes to waterfall. Roof top hot tub neat at night but (like every other hotel pool) hours restricted due to maintenance. Were helpful and threw in later check out so could get in half hour soak. Debate as Canmore half price for nicer, newer accommodations, but if can afford $500 + night, central location cannot be beat. We also enjoyed the trendy high end restaurant Brazen in hotel more than other walking distance options!

Lovely room, beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. We requested the back of hotel side as read about noise from the front. Didn’t hear a peep! Very happy

Grocery store
The Village Market is a small grocery store located in Lake Louise, offering a surprisingly good range of food despite its size. While some reviews suggest it closes early and lacks stock, this doesn't seem to be the case. The store has a variety of items including meat, vegetables, rice, pasta, sauces and more. It's recommended to stock up in Canmore before visiting due to high prices.
A fantastic market. It has everything a visitor might need for an extended stay in the Canadian Rockies. Can goods, fresh veggies and fruit, breads, drinks and the alike. I really can't think of anything else a visitor (or resident) might need. I wouldn't expect to find rare products, just standard market fare. There is plenty of parking in a very busy parking lot adjacent to the market and other little shops in the village. I would suggest walking through the parking lot very carefully. There's a lot of distracted vehicle traffic moving about.
Roy A — Google review
We came to this place for some groceries and souvenirs. There weren’t any souvenirs at all but they had a decent selection of groceries. One bad thing is that most of the item didn’t have prices or the correct prices And their meat, vegetables, fruit, and pre cooked meals didn’t have any ingredient labels. The cashier was also very out of it not helping or giving a care in the world besides their phone.
Maxim G — Google review
This little market is great and punches above its weight. Large selection packed into a small space and ranges from low-brow to high-brow. Options for special dietary restrictions. Good stuff.

Great choice right next to lake Louise We got breakfast sandwiches (egg one was my favorite), bananas and apples for snacks. They had a good variety of candies and protein snacks- perf et for our hiking purposes. Their homemade chocolate banana bread was amazing! Highly recommend!
Marta S — Google review
The only groceries store in Lake Louise. It's pretty tiny, so no in store bakery, deli or meat section. It has a small bulk food, fruit and vegetable section. Along with the typical dry goods and freezer section. There's a high number of on camera signage, so maybe there's a lot of tourist stealing. If you enjoy my reviews, please check out my YouTube food channel!

How are people giving this place anything but a 1 star review? Do they enjoy getting ripped off? I checked it out to see for myself. Refused to buy anything. Examples: $5.75 for a can of soup, $9 for a loaf of bread, $9 for a roll of tinfoil, etc, etc. it’s quite ridiculous. Almost seems like a big joke! It’s worth a visit to see for yourself!! Good entertainment!

Everything is way overpriced. We ran out of diapers for our baby and had to pay 3x of what you would pay at any other grocery store. Needless to say: only buy here if in desperate need. I would even consider driving to Banff in most cases

With over 60 flavors to choose from, including delightful options like wild blueberry rooibos and alpine peppermint, there's something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy their teas in loose leaf or sachet form, or opt for the adorable 'Tea House' box featuring 15 curated tea bags.
I had an amazing London fog at a couple places around town and they were made with tea from Jolene’s so I had to go check it out and buy some to take home. The creamy earl grey is the best I’ve ever had. No sugar or sweetener needed you just steep it in hot milk of your choice. It’s apparently already mixed with vanilla and just so creamy and delicious. Can’t wait to try all the other teas I took home with me!

Outstanding tea, we had it at the banff gondola restaurant and had to go get our own set for home. Pleased to find out they ship worldwide so will definitely be ordering more online when we run out. The atmosphere was also so organized, an absolute tea dream.

Amazing teahouse for the tea enthusiasts! Found some delicious Oolong from Taiwan and other specialty teas! There’s tea gifts, loose leaf, tea bags and tea to go if you wanted to try some there. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff! Thank you for creating a great place for tea lovers and can’t wait to order tea to ship home!

Such a beautiful teahouse! I’ve been following this company for a while now on Instagram and finally had the pleasure to visit them during my trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Let me start by saying that the store is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. The service/staff was very nice and helpful (I believe it was a French girl, sorry I didn’t grab the name) - absolutely loved her energetic and enthusiastic attitude! We tried a couple of teas there in the store, took a couple home and will definitely reorder! Great quality and very fresh!

Very chill, so nice. The lady who helped us was so sweet. They offer so many samples of tea! Also offered to ship products to us if we wanted/needed. Very, very pleased with our homemade mug and candles and chocolates didn’t get any tea on this stop.

Great name too! 😉

Would give 5 stars as I love the tea but the staff were rude and not helpful at all. The young woman was huffy when we asked questions and short with us. Very crunchy and thin crust. Around $20 for a large pizza and enough for 2 people. It took 10 minutes for the pizza to be ready. It’s located in Cascade shops food court. We order #9 &10. I like #9 better because it was spicy (not crazy spicy).

Pizza is so yummy! Waiting for a whole pizza does take time but not too long. It was delicious! The crust was thin and crunchy. All I would ask is for more toppings! This pizza also only filled 2 of us (probably because of how thin it was), so the price is okay. Definitely a neat and delicoois pizza to try!

Rocky Mountain Cabins offers a tranquil escape in Golden, British Columbia, just 7.5 miles from the Trans Canada Highway. The cozy cabins feature fireplaces and kitchenettes and are located on a wildlife-rich ranch with hiking trails. Guests appreciate the excellent location, cleanliness, and overall experience of these 250-square-foot cabins that can accommodate up to 3 guests. Visitors have also enjoyed the stunning views and well-equipped accommodations.
Great little place. Very very clean, everything you’re going to need. Beautiful surroundings wonderful hot tub. We plan on going back in the early summer. The hosts were awesome.

The best accommodations for a cabin in the woods -- private but drivable to so many many places! 10/10 recommend. The property owners are fabulous, and the hot tub + rocky mountain views are phenomenal.

Fantastic- we booked Willow Bank which is a 3bed log style home on 3 floors in a super open setting with great mountain views. Only downside we didn't stay long enough to truly appreciate with just 2 nights. If you go try out 22eleven on nearby golden for great fresh food.

My wife and I stayed at the Redburn cabin mid August of 2023, and were very satisfied with the room, location and kind service from both Kris and Les. Fortunately, we had minimal smoke in the area compared to near Calgary, with great warm weather! "We'll be back"
Bruce K — Google review
When planning a summer trip to the Rockies, I randomly stumbled upon Rocky Mountain Cabins and Home on booking.com and booked a log cabin straightaway (I later found their website to which you can book directly from) for 3 nights. This place is in a perfect setting, on the eastern side of Golden, outside of the town. There are currently a couple of one bedroom cabins and a larger home for rent. It was a great home base for day trips to the nearby national parks in BC and AB and would be perfect for after skiing at Kicking Horse. Log cabin #1 had absolutely everything we needed, down to a french press, candle, cards, bbq, gas fireplace, as well as the basics of dishes, soap, towels and linen. It was decorated very homey. The cabin faced a mountain and we were graced with multiple views of a deer and blue heron right from our front porch. There is a nearby river and it is quiet and serene. You can tell that the owners Khrys and Les take pride of their land and want to provide the best guest experience. They were very friendly and helpful to us. I can't wait to return!
Kerri S — Google review
We were looking for self-contained accommodations that would work for a large group of 6 adults--concerned in current circumstances for a place we could "vacation" and that would satisfy our own and required guidelines for cleanliness. As others have, we came across both the cabins and the home online, and would happily have stayed for longer had the home been available. While Golden itself is not a place I would normally think of as a destination spot, this property and the guest home are lovely: quiet, with wonderful mountain views, close to Golden, Kicking Horse, Highway 1, a large number of trails. The house itself had everything we needed, including enough space for 6 adults--not all couples or relatives--two living areas, excellent well-equipped kitchen at a time when cooking at home is the only realistic option. There is a hot tub, a steam shower, an additional Murphy bed, plenty of seating, a gas fireplace. One of our group also needed to be in a space that was easy to walk and sit in--especially outdoors, there are often no seats provided for people who have difficulty sitting or standing. Plenty of options here. The two slight negatives were that, as this is not an area that always gets good cell service, the wi-fi was a bit weak, which was an issue for one of our group who was working remotely. The other, for people who are strong on privacy, is that the main floor bedrooms have an adjoining bathroom with separate sliding doors. When we were there, the locks on these doors were not functional. Definitely a great find.
Jyoti D — Google review
Quaint little cabin with a comfortable bed and a majestic mountain view. Quiet environment, fresh air and deers in the field made our stay very pleasant and memorable.
