Just enjoyed a great time at this beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Vesuvius. The staff went out of their way to make sure that you felt welcome, and were comfortable. A special shout out to Rosa, who took the time to give us recommendations, make reservations and do everything to make our trip memorable.

On October 10th of 2025 Samantha and I were married at the Bellevue Syrene Hotel. We could not have asked for a more magical and memorable day. It truelly was the best day of our lives. This was all made possible through the amazing help from Angelo and Chiara. Throughout the whole planning process Angelo kept telling us not to worry, that everything was under control. He could not have been more correct. Our special day was flawless, perfect in every way. Angelo and Chiara ensured that every request was met, regardless of how last minute or large they were. They even picked up on aspects that we completely forgot about! I was amazed at the service provided by the entire venue. From the doormen staff to the valletting service, reception, kitchen staff and servers. Everyone went above and beyond for us. I would like to thank Angelo and Chiara personally for everything they did for Sam and I. This was truly the best day of our lives and you both made that possible. Thank you, Andrew

Rooms were very clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Location was beautiful! The food however was just ok. The breakfast was fine. We had dinner at the restaurant and we weren’t very impressed with any of the food nor how it was prepared. They took our order wrong for our pasta dish and the person who took our order never came over to apologize for his error. But nonetheless it was beautiful scenery.

Had the best time getting dinner and drinks. The views here of the sunset are the absolute best in Sorrento. We were also lucky enough to catch some fireworks😊 Special shout out to Roberto, the front gate keeper for helping us get the perfect table for a booking at the last minute!!

You couldn’t ask for a better experience in Sorrento! Everyone we talked to locally said this is the best hotel, and we totally agree! Views are amazing, the location is perfect, the service is top notch, and every detail in the design and the overall experience is so well thought-out. I have to give a special shout out to Roberto, the “gate keeper” who helped us when we pulled up, to Roberta who was the friendly smiling face always there to help, to Venessa who is one of the most pleasant and helpful people you’ll ever meet! All Made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

We had dinner last night at the restaurant. The property and setting are amazing. We were 45 minutes early for our reservation and planned to go to the bar for a drink. We were told our table was ready early and were asked would we like to be seated early which we did. I know the dinner is to be relaxing but the service was inattentive and slow. We had to ask twice to order cocktails for the entire table. The restaurant was not busy. The kitchen was very slow and it was midnight before we finished secondi. We decided not to order dessert due to the slow service. My friend from Italy tried to help move the service along but to no avail. The setting is certainly worthy of a Michelin 5 star but the service and food were not. My Italian friend and my girlfriend both sent their grilled Octopus back as it was tough. I had been looking forward to this dinner for weeks as a friend recommended the restaurant. I left extremely disappointed.

One of my family members actually stayed here before and told us about the view from the bar. It was our last night here in Sorrento as a whole family so we gathered for a few drinks. They had a pianist playing some beautiful music that fit quite well with the nightly atmosphere. The drinks were perfect for just relaxing with friends or family.

Staying at the Excelsior Vittoria was truly unforgettable. From the moment I stepped through the gates, I felt transported into a world of timeless Italian elegance. My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon during September. The staff was 10/10, the room was stunning, the view was incredible, breakfast buffet had everything you can think of and was served at the most beautiful room with a talented live pianist. The marina was right by us, we just had to go down an elevator. Plenty of beautiful stores and restaurants to check out around the hotel. The concierges were also very helpful helping us schedule last minute cooking class and recommending activities.

My wife and I ended our honeymoon with a stay at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, and it was the best way to end an unforgettable trip. This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been - the entire hotel and all of its facilities are completely top tier. The staff went above and beyond making my wife and I feel special for our stay, including an upgrade to an incredible cliff side room with a balcony over the coast. The food selection at this property was also great, including both high end and more casual options. We can’t wait to be back.

Perfection! The staff is lovely. The grounds/room/art are amazing. You can easily walk to the bay (we went to the beach for a morning and it was actually very fun) and the hotel is an easy walk to town. It's not that they had a good photographer, the hotel really is as fun and beautiful as it looks in the pictures online. For our family -- two young teenagers and two adults staying in two rooms -- a hotel can make or break a trip. I wish we were staying longer.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and birthday and it couldn’t have been more special. The staff are incredible and so friendly and genuinely feel happy to be there. The location and hotel itself is beautiful and feels like you’re in an art gallery. The food was the best we had especially the French toast and home cooked lunch. They even made me a delicious birthday cake. Can’t wait to come back ❤️

We loved our stay at the quaint Maison La Minervetta. Highlights of this property included the views from the room, the spectacular dining patio, and the serenity of the plunge pool. Location is great: a 10-minute walk from the busy part of Sorrento and a set of stairs directly down to the port. Food offerings were not amazing (especially in the evenings) but did the job. Overall this was an excellent experience and part of a great visit to Sorrento. We highly recommend.

Unbelievable views, fantastic ambiance, clean and tidy throughout. Such friendly staff, very helpful and perfect. Simple food but well done. Just one or two niggels the USB port in the room didn't work. We we're at the end of the season so it was a little quiet wich we appreciated.

Staff are incredible. Views are fabulous. Very solid breakfast and a short walk to town. Rooms very comfortable, great AC and bed. Getting a negroni brought to me while relaxing by the plunge pool was 10/10. Recommend.

I had the most wonderful stay at Hotel La Minervetta! The hotel is absolutely stunning, every detail beautifully thought out. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The food was exceptional — every meal a delight. I’m leaving with such positive memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

I literally travel on a weekly basis and have been for over 25 years. This hotel is simply amazing. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed at and the service is simply impeccable. The food is amazing, the views oh those views are breathtaking and again the staff is just first class. Floriana is a true gem and we feel so blessed to have had her help us out during our stay!

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon, and it was amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and the hotel even surprised us with champagne and treats in our room for celebrate, which was such a thoughtful touch. The views are stunning (especially at sunset) and our room was beautiful and spotless. The service throughout our stay was also top-notch. We especially loved the beach club and spent a full day there. The location was also perfect-just a short walk into town and the train station (which we took to Pompeii). I was so happy we chose this hotel, everything exceeded our expectations and I would definitely come back in the future.

Wow, what can I say!! This was collectively our favorite hotel on this trip to Italy (and we stayed in 5 different five star rated hotels). The views, the room and amenities, the service, the beach club, the drinks, this hotel had it all! Also, the best hotel shower we have ever encountered!! The comfort of the beds, pillows and every aspect of the room were unmatched. We only wish the menu at the beach resort had better offerings. If going to Sorrento look no further! Stay here without a doubt!!

Absolutely amazing hotel! My wife and I have traveled all over the world and I have to say this has been the nicest hotel by far that we have ever stayed in. The service is impeccable. The rooms are absolutely breathtaking and they treat you like royalty. We can’t say enough about this place next time we visit Sorrento we will definitely be staying here. While undoubtedly this hotel is beautiful, the reality is Sorrento is filled with beautiful hotels and I would recommend looking elsewhere if, in addition to beautiful accommodations, you are also looking for warm, welcoming and accommodating hospitality. I was very disappointed in the reception staff, finding them dismissive, defensive, and totally unwilling to own any responsibility for failing to acknowledge and properly accommodate a doctor's note sent weeks before my arrival. To make matters worse there was never anyone in management available - it was always too early, too late, or if in the middle of the day, they were out sick. It wasn't until I arrived home and contacted the parent company that I received a response and the response was "your emails went to our spam folder" - no apology or accountability at all, which in my opinion is shameful and worthy of this review.

We stayed at 5 star hotels in Venice, Rome and at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori. This was the most impressive of them all. The rooms were pristine and spacious. The walkout balcony with a hot tub, overlooking the bay was breathtaking for sunrise and sunsets. I had my suitcase lost/stolen at the Rome train station. Max Pollio at the front desk said that he would continue to contact the police at the station in an attempt to find my bag. I had written it off. It was a new suitcase but I had a new (never worn) 700EU pair of Ferragamo shoes in there. 2 Weeks after returning to the U.S. I received a call from Max, he found my bag!!! He did not give up like he said. A true man of his word. He arranged to have it sent to my house. So the hotel was amazing and we will stay there on our next Italy trip but you cannot get better individual care than at this hotel. When you stay there ask for Max, tell him Robert sent you !

Absolutely stunning!! The location and view were great and very easy to walk into Sorrento. Our room and the hotel property was truly gorgeous - clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, the true shining star was the staff. They entire staff was so accomodating, sweet, and gracious. We were traveling with our two year old daughter and they all bent over backward to ensure we had everything we needed. This place is a must stay!

Wow!! This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It is in a prime location with beautiful rooftop view , bar and swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is included and was spectacular with omelet/egg station, fresh fruits, and every European pastry you could imagine. We ate at their elegant gourmet restaurant one night and it was original and delicious, melt in your mouth beef Wellington. The rooms had every amenity from hairdryer, turn down service, bidet and a towel warming rack! Great air conditioning, fully stocked minibar with reasonable prices and a beautiful balcony. This really made our first European vacation a dream!

We had an amazing stay at Grand Hotel La Favorita! The property is beautiful, perfectly located, and has an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, the views stunning, and the rooftop pool was the perfect place to relax after exploring Sorrento. A special mention goes to Teresa, whose customer service was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect — from helpful recommendations to her warm, genuine hospitality. She truly made us feel at home and added a personal touch that made our visit unforgettable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be going back. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and beds extremely comfortable. Staff is always at your service with a smile. Turn down service is provided in the evenings whilst you are out for dinner. WhatsApp service with the receptionists, too. Excellent breakfasts. The rooftop pool was so relaxing and the staff are always ensuring you are comfortable and in the shade without you having to lift a finger. Could not recommend highly enough.

This was our favorite hotel and experience this trip to Italy! There were 6 of us traveling, we had adjoining balconies which was so fun to play cards, enjoy an appetizer and glass of wine befor heading out for the evening..... The grounds are absolutely beautiful, roof top pool and restaurant spectacular! Loved looking straight out at Mt. Vesuvius and the city, closing out the day with stunning sunsets. Food was very good, HOWEVER, very disappointed that they use SEED OILS in their cooking (cancer causing). When asking the chef why, he responded, "Because it's cheap." This is the land of olive oil! We really liked this place. Service was excellent, food was great, and breakfast was solid. The rooftop bar has amazing views and was a highlight of our stay. The only downside? The beds are extremely firm—if you like a softer mattress, you might notice.

The driver they organised was coming from Rome. * Said they will talk to a taxi cab outside the station they spoke to the taxi and costed us 200 euros. * Taxi was not a good experience. Had torn up leather seats , luggage was hitting us in the back. Driver was nice but we did not feel comfortable. *180 euros gets a nice Mercedes van with other hotels we went with and they organise it for you. *They were very apologetic and sincere about it which I appreciated. Gave us limoncello and stale pastries . 10 % off zest . Would have preferred a reimbursement for the bad taxi experience. *Morning breakfast was mostly not fresh. Stuck with oats most of the time. *There was loud banging dishes , and kitchen rummaging . Glad I bought ear plugs. *Upon arrival no one gave us a map. Did offer later on but for us we had no time to go up to the desk as we had other activities. *View was not good *5 star hotel did not match expectations. Paid nearly $4500 Australian for four days for that experience.

We didn't stay here because unfortunately, they were all booked up... but we made a special trip to the hotel to go to the rooftop bar/restaurant for afternoon Prosecco and espresso. Beautiful and elegant. Perfect place to spend an hour and enjoy the amazing view!

This was a stellar choice for our hotel during our stay in Sorrento! It is located mere steps from the downtown area. The hotel and it's suites are beautiful and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was second-to-none. The staff are polite and very friendly. We couldn't ask for more.....and WILL be returning!

Room was nice and clean, interior was beautiful, people were kind. My mom really liked amenities they offer. Breakfast was not the best I've had in Italy, but still nice enough and they keep it fresh and new all the time. Especially Caprese salad that we had was way better than the one we had in some other restaurant around in Sorrento. Location is the best part. Good to walk around Sorrento inside.

Firstly the service of the staff is superb especially Cartello, he went above and beyond in assisting my partner who is pregnant. The location is perfect, staff super friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Sorrento 🫶🫶🫶

The hotel is a beautiful mansion that has been in the family since the 15th century. You can imagine how the family lived throughout the last 600 years as you explore the place. It is conveniently situated near the town and you can easily access the ferries. The staff was amazingly helpful and the baked goods at breakfast were some of the best I have had in Italy. The only caveat is that our bathroom looked like something from the 80’s. I highly recommend it getting a renovation to add to the experience. I didn’t feel completely comfortable using it, even though it was clean. There is something about the pink color(?) that made it feel so old. Overall a great place to stay if you don’t mind an older room. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel in an outstanding location in the heart of Sorrento. Steps away from the town elevator to get down to the port/beach clubs. A little pricey but worth the splurge. Breakfast is a self service feast, and their terrace is a great place for Happy Hour or a night cap. Service is outstanding. Recommend staying here. King Beds in Europe, a rarity!

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The location was very good for Sorrento, however the hotel, food and most of the staff let it down. The decor is unwelcoming, cold and almost clinical. The views were lovely and the garden area very green but this hotel lacked warmth, personality and any feel of luxury which you would expect given the 5 star rating. The bar area was shocking and lacked atmosphere. It is also a health and safety nightmare as all flooring is tiled including the balconies. It had rained during our 3rd day but because there was no roof to the balcony the tiles got wet and you couldn't see that it had rained. As a result my friend slipped and twisted her knee/leg very badly. There should be some kind of warning should the floor get wet. When ringing down to reception and asking for a bandage to strap the leg, we were told they didn't have such things. There lack of consideration was extremely poor. They suggested if it was that bad to go to the hospital but without any aid or assistance from them. When it came to the food, the staff really need to be conscious of peoples allergies/intolerances and should explain exactly what they are serving instead of just plonking food down. All in all the hotel was very disappointing.

Beautiful hotel reflecting a 1960s design. Architecture was fabulous and the hotel beautiful. Very clean, beautiful beach area and pool. Staff very nice, especially the housekeeping staff. Views exceptional! Gardens lovely. We enjoyed our view of Vesuvius and the daily boats in the harbor very much. Breakfast was satisfying, however lacked excitement, with the same layout daily and no new options - egg buffet always cold. Overall a nice hotel experience in Sorrento and we enjoyed our stay and our excursions.

We had such a great stay at Hotel Parco dei Principi. The views are incredible, and the complimentary champagne on arrival was a really nice touch. The private beach is beautiful with crystal clear water, and I loved starting each morning with such an amazing view. The shuttle was super easy to use and made getting to the center very convenient. The staff were always kind and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again.

This is an extraordinary place, for me the best in Sorrento. The position and the view are UNIQUE, magic, even in a rainy week like this. For those who wants to experience the real Neapolitan hospitality, don't look any further. You will taste the food from heaven with a very professional service. Some of the rooms may feel a bit outdated, but this is the charm of the place as the building is listed to protect its unique architecture. The only note for the management is to PLEASE let the guests leave the tips for staff by credit card. It's really very limiting and inconvenient to be able to thank the staff only in cash.

Disappointed Stay – Beautiful Views, Poor Service We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, spending well over $2,000, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected at this price point. Our room was situated directly below the dining area, and every night was filled with the sound of chairs scraping across the floor above us. It made getting any rest incredibly difficult. It’s baffling that a hotel of this caliber wouldn’t consider proper soundproofing or at least avoid placing guests in such a noisy location. The beach staff experience was even more disappointing. One server took away a drink we were still enjoying, insisting it was “bone dry” when it clearly wasn’t. He offered to replace it but then vanished for over an hour. Another staff member eventually brought us a new one—only to charge us again. The lack of accountability and basic courtesy was surprising and frustrating. Then there was the laundry. We were charged over $200, only to have our clothes returned smelling like dirty socks. When we brought this (and our other concerns) to the front desk, the response we received was shockingly dismissive. The staff member, who lacked any real sense of hospitality, simply said, “Should’ve told us sooner,” as though that somehow excused the situation. After two amazing weeks traveling throughout Italy, this hotel was a disheartening final stop. Yes, the views are beautiful—but views alone don’t make up for poor service, rude staff, and a complete lack of accountability. We expected far better. Reached out to our credit card company to try and help us resolve this issue, only to be informed they need to speak with the hotels manager who was no where to be found today.

Our stay at Parco dei Principi was a huge disappointment. The first room had black mold in the vents, which made my daughter and me sick. The hotel brushed it off as “humidity” and didn’t move us until i showed them pictures of the moldy vents—two days later!! In the new room, none of the showers worked and the only water available was scalding hot. My family of five couldn’t even bathe that night. Beyond that: the pool was dirty and often closed for no reason(light rain?!), furniture and rugs were worn and filthy, and the bathrooms badly need cleaning and resealing. This is nowhere near 5-star quality. Worst of all, after weeks of back-and-forth, the hotel refunded less than they promised, shorting us over €130. If this is how they handle guests after a terrible stay, it says everything. The breakfast staff and Blu Bar bartender were wonderful, but they don’t make up for a property that is unsafe, poorly maintained, and dismissive of guests. There are far better hotels in Sorrento—avoid this one.

Wonderful hotel near the heart of Sorrento. A few minutes walk into the main area, but that's a good thing because it is generally too crowded in the town itself so it is great being a bit away from the crowds. This hotel has exquisite outdoor areas especially the gardens and patio in the back overlooking the sea. There are tables and chairs and table service so that you can drink and snack while enjoying the view. This is a somewhat old fashioned hotel that has music in the sitting areas - a piano player - to just enjoy the atmosphere.. This was my second time here. I recommend the rooms overlooking the sea rather than the road. Breakfast is in their grand dining room and is elegant. I would definitely come back!

Surely one of the most beautiful hotel locations in the world. Absolutely stunning vistas over the bay and towards Vesuvius. Often hotels on the Amalfi coast are not truly “5 star”, with tired dated rooms. Not here - great sized spaces, excellent showers and air conditioning. Have a martini on the terrace, or take the elevator and listen to the ocean at the hotel’s private jetty/beach area.

We just finished a 4 night stay here. Everything was perfect, and started with the check in process. Friendly, informative, efficient. Our room was gorgeous, clean, had water. The staff always seemed to know when we were leaving and then they would clean room or do turn down. The front desk staff provided wonderful recommendations for dining, activities, transportation. They knew your name when you walked in. The bars and restaurants are all excellent. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed in the Grand Hotel Royal for a few nights in Sorrento and five stars are extremely well deserved! This hotel was amazing in many ways - from the rooms to the view to the swimming on the beach and pool to the breakfast to the service and attention provided by the reception to the room service and the list goes on. Here, you really are in the city center and are in the heart of Sorrento: go no further. Highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Great location; beautiful hotel; great spaces and different places to spend time Cons: You can't eat anything between 5pm and 7.30pm except room service; the staff are the *least helpful* I've come across in a decade of 5 star travels This place is greatly let down by the poor service level. Want a towel for the pool area? They'll bring you one but they won't lay it out for you. Nor do they ask if you would like water or a menu. They never bring any type of standard accompaniment (crisps, nuts, olives etc.). You're basically on your own after the towel and you have to physically get up to flag them down to take any type of order. Same goes for anywhere else in this place. The room service was incorrect the first three times, but they did manage to get it right after that (yay!). So, while the location and hotel itself is very good, the entire establishment was a great letdown due to the service. We spent a week here and, since other (true 5 star) options abound in Sorrento, we will never go back. I would NOT recommend the Grand Hotel Royal to a friend.

My wife and I just stayed here for four nights. I went online and booked this hotel to try to impress here for our 20yr wedding anniversary. Neither one of us ha ever been to the Amalfi coast. The Grand Royal Hotel is at the perfect location. We took the train from Napoli which only cost $4.50 Euro It was walking distance from train station. The hotel has amazing views of the sunset. We had a room that faced the town which didn’t bother us at all because the restaurant and the bar have incredible views of the water. Sorrento was beautiful but crazy busy with tourists. It was super refreshing to get back to the hotel everyday away from the crowds. Great access to the ocean. An elevator inside the cliff plus tunnel takes you to an ocean deck. The hotel is expensive but totally worth it. We will definitely go back.

The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained grounds, sweeping views, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to linger all day. Unfortunately, the charm ends there. The staff seemed untrained and inattentive, with service that fell far below what you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. There was no one circulating to take drink orders, check in, or even ask if we needed anything. It felt as though guests were left entirely to fend for themselves, which was disappointing given the setting. Gorgeous grounds can only go so far — without proper service, the experience is incomplete.

Stayed here with two of my friends and we had a 10/10 time. The staff were kind and attentive, the hotel was spotless, and the rooms were extremely spacious. We each had our own single bed and we even had a patio outside. The room was immaculate, and it was so refreshing to not be feel crammed in a small room. It was one of our favorite hotels we ever stayed in! Breakfast was nice and located in a cute garden. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Superb traditional Italian style hotel, situated in the centre of Sorrento, just off Piazza Tasso. The hotel has its own private gardens with swimming pool and a parking garage. The rooms were spacious, simply furnished but tasteful. Beautiful gardens, surrounded by lemon trees, with more than enough space and no need to get up at dawn to stake your space. The inclusive breakfast buffet was sumptuous, with a wide choice of savoury and sweet options, as well as a selection of delicious fresh cakes made by the hotel’s chef, each day. For me, the most notable point was how friendly all the hotel staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they genuinely wanted to please you. We definitely intend to return to The Antiche Mura, on our next visit to Sorrento

Myself and my husband stayed here for a week end of june til the the beginning of July for his 60th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the surroundings of the pool bar and I loved the room. The location is absolutely fantastic. However we were there to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and I felt the service towards us was a bit cold especially seeing other guests arriving and receiving warmer treatment than we were. And seen as my husband had mobility issues he liked to to go into the garden and sit on a little table daily for a few beers whilst I went out and about and one day I came back and he had been asked to move as they were lunch tables which is fine but there were no one on them tables when I got back and he was literally on a table that could just fit 2 people and spending money on beers. I would recommend this hotel though, maybe we just didnt fit

Easily the best accommodations of our 2025 Italy trip. The hotel was beautiful from the lobby and the lounge. Even the room was nicely appointed with lively floor tile designs. It's a small walk away from the plaza but gains it's peacefulness from this fact. The breakfast was great with selections for both Westeners and Europeans alike. Overall, definitely will be staying here again if we're ever back.

Will definitely stay here again. Extremely convenient location to all of Sorrento except the public beach (no hotel is convenient to it). One of the best views in the city also. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.

We had an wonderful stay at Relais Regina Giovanna! We were a two family group and we could not have found a better location to base ourselves with kids! The location is beautiful with the private beach being such a treasure to have on site. The food was incredible and staff were so helpful and kind, always willing to help with anything big or small. We stayed in the apartments and they were perfect for our two family group - the site has everything you could possibly need! We are already dreaming of a return visit!!

I shared the room with my parents, and we could not recommend this place enough. We shared one room (family room in main house), and it was spacious and beautiful (more than adequate space for three people). The serene location and privacy of the accommodations were perfect, and the resort grounds are incredible. There were lots of trails through lush foliage including olive and lemon trees. The private beach and bar major perk and reward for descending stairs (which you should be prepared for)! Given that it is a bit further from Sorrento center, they offer a shuttle service to downtown (you have to sign up for the rides ahead of time), but it was easy enough to taxi to and from the train station. The offerings at the restaurant for breakfast (which was included) and dinner varied and were delicious. The staff including their fur friends were friendly, accessible and attentive. If we are lucky enough to travel to Sorrento again, we would surely would return here.

Absolutely amazing place. Great for families and people with pets. Massive farm filled with olive orange and lemon trees. Super friendly staff. Great location. Just outside of Sorrento main town. There is even a shuttle that runs to town and back every few hours. Very accommodating. The hotel rooms are exceptionally luxurious. The facilities and amenities are top-class. Will return!

We are in love with Relais Regina Giovanna! The grounds are wonderful, we were in love with the flowers, lemon trees and olive trees. The private beach is a little heaven. We had two rooms for our group: one in the main section and an apartment for a family of four. They were spacious, the beds comfortable and the views fabulous. We enjoyed two dinners and a lovely breakfast each morning. You do have to plan your adventures away from the property as they will require a cab ride or the hotel shuttle. The staff was kind, attentive and helpful! I highly recommend this gorgeous place as a place to unwind and relax.

My husband and I stayed here in June for our honeymoon. It was our first time in Italy and this hotel was a highlight of the trip! The staff are so friendly, especially Gabriele! My husband and him became friends and he made sure we were okay during our entire stay. The private beach is so great and refreshing. The water is beautiful and the service is great. The included breakfast is great and so tasty! They have great variety and its all home made! The shuttle service to and from Sorrento is so convenient! The gardens all around the hotel are stunning. 10/10 for everything! Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Bring refillable water bottles! Love this hotel and gabriele

My husband and I were visiting Sorrento for our first time on our honey moon and we were recomended by a friend to stay at the relaid Regina Giovanna. We stayed for four nights and it was the most beautiful, relaxing stay. Everyone who works there is so accommodating and nice. The sunsets were absolutely incredible. They had a restaurant on site that was incredible. We ate there a few times and loved it. When we first checked in, our rooms ac wasn’t working and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They ended up upgrading our room to an apartment with working ac and they even gifted us a set of their incredible olive oil that they make on site (we bought 3 more sets because we loved it so much) our room was absolutely incredible and we loved our stay so much. There’s a private beach down the way, with an incredible lunch spot on site, with the best lemon cello spritz I have ever had. It was incredible getting to relax on that beach all day. They even had kayaks and a paddle board we could use for free. We took them out almost everyday and discovered a beautiful swimming hole to the right. Hidden beneath an old castle. It was INCREDIBLE. The lunch we had was amazing. And the downtown Sorrento was really fun too. They also offered a shuttle service free of charge! This hotel truly goes above and beyond to make sure you love your time here. They have kitties running around and a beautiful dog named Cleo. I fell in love with the animals and one of the cats named princess watched the sunset with me every night. This place truly is a special, hidden gem and we cannot wait to come back

This boutique hotel was in walking distance from all our tour meets, restaurants, and beaches in Sorrento. Fully air conditioned, incredible breakfast every morning, cleaning service every day. They make your coffee to order every morning, provided us with beach towels, 24/7 front desk. They even helped with arrange our airport transportation. A must-stay if you’re visiting Sorrento!!

This hotel might just be the most elegant place we've stayed in Europe. Originally a family home for generations, it's been transformed into a unique hotel where every room has a different theme and even an associated animal, we stayed in "the rooster" room! With a large group of 13 spread across 6 rooms, we were impressed by the spaciousness of both the rooms and the beds, and the strong air conditioning was a lifesaver in the July heat, which soared above 35°C. The staff were incredibly attentive, almost like mind readers, organizing all our restaurant reservations and outings as if we had our own private butler. Every place they booked for us was exceptional. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Breakfast, baked fresh by the family, was the best we've had in Europe, featuring delicious pastries, fresh eggs, cereal, jam, and excellent espresso. And the location couldn't be better it literally just 3 meters from Piazza Tasso, you're right in the heart of Sorrento, surrounded by all the top restaurants and must-visit sites. When in Sorrento, I highly recommend this hotel for: - Generous room size - Personal butler-like service - Incredible breakfast - Impeccable room cleanliness - Reasonably priced mini-bar - Exceptional friendliness of the owners and staff

I recently had the pleasure of staying in Palazzo Jannuzzi and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning views of Piazza Tasso. The town itself is charming, with its narrow, winding streets, vibrant piazzas, and beautiful historic buildings. My accommodation was fantastic, offering both comfort and elegance. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the balcony with its breathtaking view – a perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel, with 2-3 restaurants and a great seating area for drinks before dinner (with an incredible view of Sorrento). The restaurant by the pools had one of the best pizzas I had while in Italy! The best part of this hotel is that it’s an easy (no hills) walk into downtown Sorrento. The second best part? The pools! There’s plenty of seating by the pools and they are beautiful all with great views and plenty of sunlight. The views from the rooms is picturesque. The hotel staff are kind and courteous and happily arranged taxi’s for us when we needed to go further than the short walk into town. Drawbacks: - Rooms are outdated (this might be expected with the hotel style). There’s no carpet so they are also very loud to outside noise in hallways, etc - Gym is small and had to be reserved ahead of time - THE AC. The lowest that it would go is 23 C (about 74 F). It was almost 90 degrees F in Sorrento the week we were there with 80% humidity. This just simply wasn’t cold enough to sleep comfortably. We asked the hotel reception multiple times to adjust our AC and they kept saying they were but it wouldn’t go any lower. We talked with other people in Sorrento staying at other hotels and they all said the AC went down to 18 or 19 C. This alone would cause us to not come back if we are traveling in summertime

The grand hotel had a fantastic location (easy walk to the main tourist area, a moderate one to the port or train station) with a great view overlooking the town/coast. I was not as impressed with the rooms, they were "okay" with too firm of bed and pillows (the kind that hurt your ears if you attempt to lay on them for too long). They also had a sign posted on the thermostat advising "for best experience, leave it set to 25C." So we didn't okay with it, but still noticed the power flicker on and off a few times when in our room. I'm we did wake a few times feeling too hot, which brought to the forefront the uncomfortable bedding again... Showering in the bath with a movable half-wall is an acquired skill that I do not have yet. This half-wall did not do a great job of keeping water from making a wet mess, but at least there is a floor drain and a few ultra-scratchy robes to help minimize falls! Another acquired skill was easily using the key to gain entry to the room, but this one I did get better at. The included breakfast was also just okay compared with hotels we had stayed at in other Italian cities during our trip. The fresh fruit was great, the view from the table (when not seated in direct sun) was pleasant, but I didn't find the rest as nice. Their series of five pools connected by descending waterfalls was beautiful. A great place to cool off after climbing back up from the port, for example. Be warned it inexplicably closes at 6p (1800). The pool-side bar has an expansive cocktail list, and all the drinks we ordered over the course of our stay were high quality. The food served was also very decent. As said initially, this was an okay hotel, we enjoyed our stay, but would probably look elsewhere if visiting the area again.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding in Sorrento and loved Grand Hotel Capodimonte. Their rooms are stunning, comfortable, and modern. Their AC works extremely well (shoutout all Americans). Their staff is also very accommodating. We had a couple odds requests with all of the logistics from our wedding and they helped fulfill every one. The pool is also incredible. One of our favorites parts of the hotel is taking in the view, sitting by the pool, and ordering drinks from their excellent bar. Can't recommend this place enough.

Stunning hotel from reception area, public walkways, restaurant to rooms. Views throughout the hotel are exceptional with views across to Mount Vesuvius. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely spacious, brightly decorated with a modern wardrobe unit. The bathroom was large. (The only fault in the bathroom was the tiled floor can become extremely slippery when wet - so take care). Lovely outside pool area that has cascading pools on different levels. Quite a few steps up to the pool. Location is very convenient for walking into Sorrento itself.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Capodimonte, truly a stunning hotel in every sense. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from the heart of Sorrento, yet set far enough back to feel peaceful and private. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking, whether you're relaxing by the pool or enjoying a drink on the terrace. Even though our room (404) didn’t have a view, it was still lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. One downside was a bit of difficulty when friends from another hotel tried to visit us, which is something to be aware of if you're planning to meet up with others. We had a car, but honestly wouldn’t recommend it. Parking was expensive and not really necessary given how central everything is. The food at the hotel was delicious and worth the price, dinner in particular was a real highlight. Breakfast, which was included, was decent but not particularly memorable. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return, for the views alone, it’s a dream. I would love to return again and if so, I'd be staying here in a heartbeat.

I am not one to typically leave reviews, but I truly can’t help myself on this one because we have the hotel (specifically, the wait/bartender/restaurant staff) multiple times to get their service to match “the luxury price” they demand, but they kept coming up short. I’ve never felt more of “an inconvenience” to people in my entire life. Waiting over 20-25 minutes for a cocktail in the bar when they had 4 people working and only 12 customers!!! (Had to finally cancel the order and leave). Ordered pizza buy the pool but we were a huge inconvenience to the wait staff because we needed 2 plates and silverware. The pizza was sloppy and cut into 4 pieces - you could only eat it with a knife and fork in a civilized way. The waiter gave us a face of disgust, which forced me to go to the bar myself and ask for the proper cutlery…... But I can assure you, it wasn’t fun because even then they made me feel like I was a disruption to their day. You should never have to feel like you have to “kiss their butt” to get what you’re already paying for so that they don’t talk about in Italian in front of you or give you crappy or less desirable service, food or drink. At over $800 /night, they should revamp their entire wait staff (the front desk and porter upon check in were very good!!). This is a sure sign of lack of leadership - period! I’d rather pay the 18-20% tip and have someone show up with a smile, pleased to have you as a customer, get the order right, be promoted and follow up in a timely manner instead of complete lack of respect, carelessness and lack of desire to please those who are paying your salary. I don’t want “servants” I simply want “service”. This is our 2nd time here, but we will certainly think twice about next time…. And so should you.

Simply put: if you value a view at $900 a night then this place is for you. Other than that, it is immensely overpriced. For $900 a night they cannot even provide you water, which is standard for almost every hotel. The showers are tiny, you can barely move. The view is beautiful, but the hotel itself is very old. The elevators didn’t work half the time. Their main investment is their garden. The proper price point per night would be $500-$600 a night in my opinion.

This hotel is well known for its view as it's right on the cliff edge and in the centre of Sorrento. The views from the bar terrace, particularly at sunset, are amazing as you see the sea and Naples without any obstruction. However rooms are over priced and hotel is overrated. For example price you pay per night £500 is too expensive for this hotel. Rooms are quite old and not soundproof. I wasn't happy with breakfast at all. Very basic breakfast and you need to pay for something decent including fresh juice. For the first time I have seen a 4 star hotel where they charge you for a fresh juice in breakfast. Overall, it's a good hotel in terms of view and location but definitely overpriced. Pros: - Amazing panoramic views of the coast - Good location for ferries and walking distance to the town - ‘Tony’ the bell man was very helpful especially changing our room since it was very small and always spoke to us and make sure our stay was enjoyable. He was amazing! - Beach access Cons: - Breakfast was limited and was the same each morning. Not much hot food selection and disliked having to pay extra from a menu for hot food when paying a lot of money - No kettle or cups in room, 4 star hotels shoud have this in rooms. I personally like to have a cup of tea in my room at my leisure than depending on room service incurring extra costs - Quite an old hotel that would benefit from refurbishment it looks tired, scary and had an odour. - Not pram or wheelchair friendly lots of steps especially getting to the outdoor restaurant - No heating in room only air conditioning room was rather cold having to use blankets on bed to keep warm - Paying to use beach considering we were guests at hotel

This hotel is perfectly situated within the city and has an amazing view. One could almost forgive the impassivity of the staff and their lack in quality of service. The check in experience was brief and impersonal. They could barely be troubled with the task of checking us in before returning to the back to go on the computer and didn't offer any guidance of the city. Our room was tightly arranged and walls thin enough to hear every movement of the guest beside and especially above us. The shower was tiny enough to make it impossible to shampoo my hair and I’m a small woman. The age of the building makes these qualities passable if it weren’t for the lack of amenities and customer service. No water was offered on check in and there are no bottles in the room. No bell service was offered. The in room iron was tethered to the board in such a way to make it impossible to actually use. Every time we entered the lobby we were met with stares instead of warm greeting. Breakfast and bar service were welcoming and good. Breakfast items that have been offered at all 3 star hotels in Italy were an extra charge here. I had hoped for more from such a prominent hotel in Sorrento.

We celebrated a birthday dinner at the restaurant in this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the view from both the bar and the restaurant was absolutely stunning. I especially want to highlight the outstanding service—truly exceptional. A special thanks to Manager Mauricio for making the evening so memorable. Thank you for such a beautiful night!

Review – Imperial Hotel, Sorrento Great central location with beautiful views and an impressive exterior. The atmosphere feels elegant and classic, and it’s within easy walking distance of Sorrento’s main spots. However, the rooms are quite basic for the high price. Many small extras quickly add up — €10 for a glass of fresh orange juice, extra charge for eggs, and €25 per day for parking. Even simple things like bottled water aren’t included. Overall, it’s a fine hotel in terms of location and looks, but it doesn’t offer the comfort or value you’d expect for the price.

First of all the location is amazing. 5-10 minutes walk from everything needed. The view from the rooms is amazing. But. The hotel needs a bit of renovation. There are no kettle or coffee machine in the rooms. But most importantly, they don’t provide any water. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. Luckily the bar was still open so we managed to get some bottles of water. All together it was excellent, but for 1000$ a night you should get a bit more. Sorry

A great hotel in a great location. We had a suite with perfect views of the bay of Napoli. The manager and front desk staff went out of their way to make changes to our room that was improperly booked by a booking agent. Not the hotels fault. Everyone who works here is very attentive and always asked if we needed anything. Thank you again! Hope to see you again soon.

This is a great hotel and I can’t praise them highly enough. My family stayed for just over a week, in the family solution. Excellent location - right in the centre, but tucked along a slightly quieter road. The rooms were great - modern, clean, quiet, with all the amenities needed. The pool was nice (though busy in the afternoons), and the bar had a nice ambiance (one night with a violinist). What sets this hotel apart in my opinion, is the service. The staff are super friendly. All the way from responding to our questions before booking, to going out of their way to provide a breakfast which met our dietary needs. As I arrived, I got a tooth infection, and the reception staff were so sympathetic and helpful to find an emergency (same day) dental appointment. All sorted in one day and I was able to enjoy my holiday. A huge thank you to the staff for making our holiday special and memorable.

Hotel Plaza’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Sorrento and within walking distance of the best restaurants, sights, and shopping. It’s just a 10–15 minute stroll down to the marina. The rooftop and pool area are super cute. The rooms were perfectly fine, though ours had a slight musty smell when we arrived (it cleared up after leaving the doors open overnight, which we would have done either way). We also enjoyed the breakfast! Overall, a fantastic choice for the price.

We stayed in a family room at Hotel Plaza. The hotel is simple yet very modern in terms of amenities and interior design. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got to know a bartender, Carlo, who is the best. He makes excellent drinks. The hotel's location is outstanding as everything is within walking distance. As far as breakfast goes, nothing is special, but it's decent.

The front desk staff is superb! Shout out to CINZA and CRISTIANA who were so helpful with transportation (a 4am car pick up == and they provided us little breakfast bags with juice and rolls!) The hotel is super clean, every surface looks fresh, the breakfast is fab, and the location is right in the middle of the main square. Try to stay here if you can.

The hotel is fantastic - it offers a delicious and varied breakfast, a great small pool, and a beautiful rooftop. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was recently renovated and very clean. The location couldn’t be better - everything is just a 3–5 minute walk away, whether it’s the beach or a restaurant. However, the biggest issue for us was the poor soundproofing. You can hear everything, from someone watching TV to even light snoring. Unfortunately, I was woken up every morning by doors slamming. If the soundproofing could be improved, this would truly be a perfect place to stay.

I cannot give enough 5 stars to this beautiful and unique property. Part of the ancient monastery there are beautifully preserved pieces everywhere. The gardens are extensive and stunning. In addition to lovely green areas they are growing vegetables, fruit and flowers. The pool is nice but I loved the patio on the pier. It is private and you feel you are just in the middle of the ocean. The service was impeccable, Giuseppe was outstanding, always kind and with perfect recommendations no matter the request, he knows everyone worth knowing in town and will take care of you. I can't wait to go back!

Service: I want to start by saying, this is without a doubt the BEST service of any staff I have ever received at any hotel anywhere in the world. Giuseppe and the rest of the concierge/drivers were absolutely the highlight of our trip. Kind, engaging, helpful, truly a first class and 5-star experience. They had set up a very thoughtful welcome for us when we came to stay for our honeymoon. Cannot say enough about the staff. Property: The property is historic, so I would be very realistic with what you are expecting. After visiting, I am surprised with the 5-star hotel rating. It is a nice property, but showing its age on many things I feel could be upgraded still with respect to its historic charm. In full transparency, I was expecting it to be a bit more luxurious. We booked with points, otherwise I probably would be more disappointed had I paid fully out of pocket. The property is quite far from the Sorrento center with shopping/restaurants, but there is a shuttle which runs most of the day and drops you relatively close to the center which is helpful. Spa: Personally, I would avoid the spa. Services were very sub-par for the cost. Very kind providers, but the services/ambiance was not commensurate with the cost. I wish we had skipped this and spent that money elsewhere. Food: The waterfront restaurant, Coku, was unmemorable in my opinion. My husband enjoyed his meal, but I felt mine had been sitting for quite some time waiting for his to be finished being prepared because my dish was completely cold when it arrived. We had far better meals with more impressive service elsewhere. We sat for quite some time waiting to close our bill as our server was engaging with another table he appeared to know personally. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is well-appointed and obviously appreciated, but I found many of the items I tried were not my preference. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was objectively not good, but I only found one or two items I really cared for. Certainly could just be my American pallet vs. the traditional European breakfast. The staff in the breakfast bar, as with the rest of the hotel, was incredible. Overall: It was a wonderful stay made so largely in part by the staff. I hate to admit I would probably stay elsewhere in the future just based on the overall experience, but that is in no way a reflection of the incredible staff. If you are a little more relaxed in your overall expectations but want exceptional service, this is absolutely a great property for you.

Had a wonderful stay here on my honeymoon and could not be happier with the accommodations. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, everyone from the reception, wait staff, and concierge made sure our stay was excellent. The hotel itself is extremely charming and the amenities are amazing. The walkway from the front to the ocean is beautiful and the private beach club is an awesome way to start the day. The hotel provides a shuttle to a meeting point that is a short walk from downtown which is very convenient. Would recommend staying here if given the choice again

I can't say enough about this beautifully historic hotel, their staff and our experience there. Loved every minute at Hotel Cocumella! The gardens and sea views are breathtaking, and the service is unmatched (big shout out specifically our concierge' Giuseppe and Michael and to Franko our favorite waiter… they personally made our stay most memorable!) The food too was exceptional. It's walking distance to town but feels worlds away - quiet, elegant, and full of character. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a truly special Sorrento stay.

How do I put this into words kindly, the worst? Could not speak much to location because they moved our room last minuet and tried to disguise taking away our sea view for the end of our honeymoon as an upgrade. If by upgrade they mean upgraded us with the amount of ants a room can hold then they sure did. Kudos to them because I have stayed in some very very bad motels in my life and have seen my share of bugs. Let’s move on to the bar. Solid, IF you want the bartender to explain to your new wife multiple times how her marriage is going to fail while he tried to sell her husband, me, drugs. “Come on man, she wants a party.” Although some of the staff was very helpful, when it comes to reservations BEWARE! For our final evening we had a reservation at a very nice Michelin Star restaurant. One she could not wait to end our honeymoon at because of how great it was supposed to be. In the end we never figured out who dropped the ball. Both establishments blamed each other. When it came down to it, it seems the Cocumella never informed us of a reservation cancellation due to a private party and we were left, last day of the honeymoon, with no dinner. Overall this establishment was an absolute joke. For the price they ask you can stay somewhere much nicer, much more updated and far more accommodating. Why risk a trip to such a beautiful city just to stay in this sub par hotel….at least the shuttle was great, I guess 5 starts to the shuttle driver.

This is a remarkable hotel to visit. The breakfast is excellent. Beds are comfortable. The is a sewage smell issue when using water in the room. The grounds are impeccable. The staff is very focused on the people staying. This is a frequent place for weddings so you will see this former monastery at its finest.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at Cocumella, a truly unique hotel set in a beautifully restored former monastery. The property itself is stunning, with peaceful gardens stretching all the way to the cliff’s edge, offering magnificent views over the sea. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying drinks at the bar at sunset followed by dinner in the restaurant — both unforgettable experiences made even more special by the breathtaking views. The restaurant food itself was outstanding, easily among the best meals of our trip. The hotel is located about a 20-minute walk from town, but this was never an issue thanks to the complimentary shuttle service, which was punctual and reliable. That said, there were a few aspects that didn’t quite meet expectations for a five-star property. We booked a junior suite, but the room design was less than ideal: a steep, narrow staircase made carrying luggage upstairs challenging, the loft bedroom had very low ceilings (I had to duck through the bathroom archway), and the limited natural light gave it a slightly closed-in, claustrophobic feel. On the plus side, the bed itself was extremely comfortable and ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was generally good, with excellent fresh fruit, pastries, and orange juice, though the hot dishes were inconsistent — omelettes, in particular, were burned on the outside but undercooked in the middle. Service was friendly overall, but we did experience a let-down when we requested pool towels for a day trip to Capri. Despite asking multiple staff members, the towels were never arranged. One other note: while there is a digital directory in the room, it would have been helpful if staff had highlighted some of the special hotel experiences. For example, we only learned after the fact that they offered a cooking class, which we would have gladly joined instead of arranging one in town. Overall: Cocumella is a beautiful property in an exceptional setting, ideal if you’re looking for history, gardens, and sea views. Just be mindful when selecting a room type, and don’t hesitate to confirm small details with staff to avoid disappointments.

We stayed at Grand Hotel Riviera in Sorrento for five nights during our honeymoon in mid-June, and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the service was some of the best we've ever experienced. They welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of prosecco and chocolate cake. Francesco & Gianni at the concierge desk were both incredible. They went above and beyond to help us plan in advance, from reserving fantastic local restaurants to booking us a couple’s massage. The bartenders, especially Mario and Giuseppe, made our evenings so fun, we genuinely didn’t want to leave the hotel. We spent hours every night before & after dinner enjoying cocktails in the beautiful lounge overlooking the water. It quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. The private beach club is another standout feature that makes this hotel special. The service was great, and we enjoyed many spritzes and a few club sandwiches while relaxing during our days there. Our room was simple, clean, and very comfortable for the price, and the breakfast was one of the best we've had in Italy; fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety. The hotel’s location is also ideal: a short, pleasant walk to the main part of Sorrento, but far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded. This hotel made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We did not want to leave and we’re already hoping we can come back for our five- year anniversary.

Currently at Naples Airport for the flight home. We had a fantastic time at the Grand Hotel Riveria, the views over the Bay of Naples are just exquisitely beautiful. The food is superb and my husband was surprised with a cake in our room on his birthday. The maid service is excellent ... well done ladies and the evening fresh towel service and bed turn down is a lovely as able to use fresh towels in the morning. All the staff were polite, friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend 👌 Thank you 😊 Of course Sorrento is as beautiful as ever.

The Grand Riviera in Sorrento is a breathtaking hotel built just above the sea. It’s stunning! The lobby and living/sitting room are beautifully decorated , but it’s the staff that makes the hotel the gem that it is. The staff couldn’t do enough for us….top notch customer service. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. A wonderful location. The rooms were immaculate and met all of our needs. I would return in a heartbeat!

This is the perfect hotel for your trip in Sorrento. The staff are kind, friendly, and really helpful. The food at breakfast and lunch is really above what I’ve come to expect for “hotel food” and the view is one of the best in Sorrento. You get free access to beach club down on the water as well as the pool, with towels and table service for drinks and food. Our room was the only very tiny negative - it was a little smaller than we expected, the hair dryer attached to the wall didn’t work too well, and because we had a ground floor room, we had absolutely no view from our “balcony”. All of these things were minor in comparison to the positives. This is a great hotel and you won’t be disappointed staying here.

I stayed at Grand Hotel Riviera in the middle of September for 4 nights and I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Had I known how much I was going to enjoy my experience here, I would have booked a longer stay for my mom and I. Some standout features of the hotel: - Private beach/sundeck with loungers + food & beverage service - Outdoor rooftop gym - Complimentary full breakfast buffet each morning - Spacious, clean rooms & bathrooms - Amazing views of Mount Vesuvius Although it's not located in the city center, we found it easy and enjoyable to walk to Piazza Tasso and other main sights from the property. Another huge plus is that it's just a short walk to one of my favorite restaurants in Sorrento - La Cantinaccia del Popolo. I personally preferred the location because it felt tucked away and more private. Will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Riviera. Although I am normally a planner, we arrived without arranging any activities and Gianni helped us plan our trip and made excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast every morning was superb and Teresa made sure we always had what we needed. Highly recommend!

Plenty of space and chairs for all guests. Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated in a classic Mediterranean style. Housekeeping was top-notch, and everything was always immaculate. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and local specialties. Dining with that panoramic view each morning was a treat in itself. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful, with ample loungers and a great bar service. It never felt overcrowded, even during high season. Special thanks for Mario at the Blu Lounge bar as we spent a lot of time here. He makes the best cocktails! We would absolutely return and highly recommend Grand Hotel Riviera to anyone looking for a serene, luxurious stay in Sorrento.

Wow wow wow. We absolutely fell in love with belair hotel. The architecture, the mix of modern and some antique elements and interior design was all spectacular. The service and the people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We met the owner and architect Mario, he was so kind and welcoming. The staff working there, annaliesa and Francesco helped us everyday and were so kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a beautiful view and incredible service. We 100% would be back. They have an incredible attention to detail when it comes things in the room to make guests feel comfortable.

Just a short 15-17 minute stroll from the bustling central square, this boutique gem feels like a little slice of heaven. Each floor has its own unique charm, with the enchanting scent of Ortiga Nico D’India wafting through the air and a fresh, cool art motif that delights at every turn. The front desk team—Michele, Antoni, Ulga, and the whole crew—goes above and beyond, making sure every moment of your stay is seamless and wonderful. The hotel’s restaurant, led by the amazing Anna Lisa and the charming Francesco, is pure magic. Their service shines bright, filled with great conversation, spot-on recommendations, and even treasured traditional family recipes! I’m already dreaming of that Caprese cake and the unforgettable orange and lemon zest jams. Our double superior suite...just stunning! With a balcony and a view so beautiful I wish I could bottle it and take it home! The shower was pure bliss, and those gorgeous tile floors? Absolutely perfect. And credit to the housekeeping team for keeping everything flawless. Grazie mille, Hotel Belair Sorrento! We’ll be back before you know it!

First, lovely views but this isn’t the only hotel with that in Sorrento. Their staff stole 4 of my shirts from my laundry, admitted it in an email, and I guess it happens so routinely it was treated like no big deal, including management. Crazy stuff! The short version, if you don’t want your things stolen then you should reconsider this place. People who steal don’t stop!

I spent a lot of time researching hotels for our 4 night stay as I wanted it to be special for our anniversary trip. This was our last stop on our 3 week Italy trip. This hotel is beautifully situated out of the busy part of town (but walkable to everywhere) and has a beautiful bar and patio with expansive bay views. The inside of the hotel is a crisp white with marble floors and vibrant turquoise accents. It has a nice high end Mediterranean feel. I loved the size of our deluxe superior sea view room and of course, the balcony and views of Mount Vesuvius. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, with high-quality linens, and very comfortable beds. Bathroom was well outfitted with high quality toiletries. The only drawback of our room was its location on the first floor just off the lobby and entrance to the restaurant. I had mistakenly made the assumption we would be on a higher floor. As well, there was some minor noise that filtered in from the lobby and hallways. If you are a light sleeper, I would request a higher floor. The hotel is smaller in size which can be nice but in this case, it meant that there was no real lobby space to sit and drink a coffee or an afternoon cocktail (you can have one at the sunset bar). I am a fan of having a comfortable lobby that invites you to linger a little bit. Service throughout was good quality and very attentive. Most of the staff here is young and they are making a great effort, it is evident that they care. Overall, we had a lovely stay and the hotel’s location and views were unbeatable. Depending on your taste and needs, this hotel has a lot to offer!

The view is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. It truly is beautiful—you can enjoy a stunning sunset and a clear view of Mount Vesuvius in the distance. But beyond the scenery, everything else falls short. The rooms are mediocre at best. The bed was uncomfortable, the air conditioning didn’t work properly (we had to call the front desk just to get it turned on), and there was even a bug in the room. For a hotel that claims to be five-star, this is unacceptable. The service was equally disappointing. We passed by the front desk nearly a dozen times during our stay and were never once greeted. In fact, the staff consistently avoided eye contact. At the pool, there were no attendants—we had to get our own towels, set up our chairs and umbrella, and when someone finally showed up, the only thing he asked for was our room number. No offer of assistance, no service. This was our last stop on an otherwise wonderful trip, and it left a sour impression. When we called the night before our arrival to ask if the hotel provided a transfer service—like every other hotel we stayed in—they made it clear that they did not and offered no help at all. At check-in, we asked for assistance arranging a transfer to the airport and were quoted €270. We later found a luxury Mercedes S-Class transfer for €170 through a local provider. To call this a five-star hotel is misleading. With the exception of the view, the experience was closer to a two- or three-star stay at best.

Stunning hotel, with an amazing staff, beautiful views and the perfect location! We had a room with a large terrace and jacuzzi. The panoramic views were incredible. Valentina was so kind and welcoming. The front desk staff was also so kind and helpful! It’s walking distance to all the attractions in Sorrento. I highly recommend Hotel Lorelei!

We ate at their Lorelei Ristorante (chef Ciro Sicignano) and it was wonderful. We selected the Sorrento Today tasting menu with wine pairing. We got to meet the Chef himself after the main courses and he made a special desert that included a taco like shell with mousse and orange roe and a special tea type drink that worked with this unique desert. We also got a tour of the wine cellar complete with a Roman duct mixed with modern design. Our main dessert was an incredible arabica coffee cake, espresso Napoletano mousse with berry like chocolate ganache and strawberry sorbet topping. Best dessert I have ever had. The Sevice was beyond anything I have experienced, but then this is my first experience in a 1star Michelin restaurant in Italy. Loved it.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. Location - not in the crazy center, a short walk away from all the action. On the cliff over looking the amazing view. Hotel - it has a blend of modern and classic in a 5 star way. The rooms are very nice and large and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Service - top notch from the front desk to the bartender/waiter at the beach club. We especially enjoy Valentina at breakfast each morning. She would go out of her way to make sure you started you day with a great experience. Beach Club - very unique and fun experience. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the sea views and a nice little bridge over the rocks to get in the way. The touch of have noodles to float in the water was perfect! Overall our family of 4 loved the experience and will recommend the Lorelei Londres to others!

As stated by several other guests, the view is pretty much the only great thing about this place. The food isn't bad either but the maitre D.... omg he should be ashamed and hopefully upper management will eventually get rid of him. If there was a an embodiement of snobbish frustration. Thats the guy. Buddy were worth 100x what you are and you dont know the meaning of the word respect. Shameful experience because of that.

We have had an amazing stay here at Hotel Lorelei Londres. We were greeted with a free upgrade to a sea view with a balcony!!! Every time I went to the cafe I was immediately greeted. Every staff member with a smile on their face & checking to make sure you are satisfied. I have never felt more at home than here. HOSPITALITY. PERIOD. This is a very low key and quiet hotel, perfect for a relaxing stay. We only saw a handful of other couples during our stay. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and they truly treat you like royalty. One of the best perks is their car service, which is a huge bonus since taxis in the area are very expensive. The dining was excellent with a top tier chef and ingredients sourced right from their own garden, which I’ve never experienced at a hotel before. My room was comfortable with a beautiful view and the location is just 10 to 15 minutes from downtown. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The private car service was seamless, the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire property has a timeless, elegant charm that makes you never want to leave. Most importantly, they helped my fiancé plan and execute the most beautiful proposal I could’ve imagined—it was flawless, and we’ll always be grateful. This is a place we’ll return to again. It deserves a perfect 5 stars.

This hotel is heaven on earth - incredibly serene and peaceful setting outside of busy Sorrento. The hotel is clean, stunningly designed, and run seamlessly. Dinner at the restaurant was beautiful, with thoughtful and fresh dishes prepared impeccably (at great prices). They offer an extensive wine selection from their own cellar on site. The included breakfast is beyond compare - with fresh squeezed orange juice (from the citrus grove on the property!) and a beautiful selection of fresh pastries and fruit to go with your other personalized selections. The staff are so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The property itself is unbelievable - walk through the huge gardens and you will find a citrus grove, olive and plum trees, fresh vegetables, chickens, and incredibly fragrant rosemary cascading over the stone walls. The infinity pool is so refreshing and has a breathtaking view of the sea and Vesuvio - you will not want to leave! When you do choose to venture into town, the courtesy car is easy to request and can accommodate you from 8-12 and 4-9pm. You can call ahead to arrange a pickup from the Sorrento city center to the hotel upon your arrival (which I would recommend over a taxi, and walking would be near impossible.) I hope to return to this stunning hotel someday!

When we got the opportunity to photograph an elopement at at Anna Belle Elegant Agriresort we were beyond happy. It was truly something special. The couple read their vows in the garden, surrounded by olive trees, with the most stunning backdrop of the sea, Sorrento, and even Naples in the distance. It felt so intimate and romantic—just perfect for an elopement. The venue itself is quite new, beautifully restored just a few years ago, but still has that classic Italian charm. Everything felt elegant yet relaxed, making it an amazing setting for a wedding.

Our family (including two young kids) stayed at Anna Belle Resort for a week, and it was truly an exceptional experience—better than many 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at before. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and easily on par with any of the top restaurants in Sorrento. The views from the resort were breathtaking, offering panoramic sights of the Sorrento coast that made every moment feel special. The free shuttle to and from downtown Sorrento was a huge plus, making it easy to explore the town without any hassle. Anna Belle Resort is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and warm hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again!

This resort is stunning. We joked about feeling like Grace Kelly or Princess Diana staying here. The rooms were beautiful and the staff made us feel like family. They had a private driver that took is into town whenever we wanted to. The pool had a view of Mount Vesuvius that was breathtaking. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

The driver was incredibly kind and supportive, always lifting the mobility scooter and ensuring that our travel experience was completely relaxing and stress-free. Their thoughtfulness and care made exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel itself is a tranquil oasis. Surrounded by magnificent views and a peaceful ambiance, it felt like a hidden gem. The food was absolutely fabulous — fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The entire resort was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, combining luxury with the rustic charm of the countryside. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. They provided amazing advice on local tours, arranged all our travel needs, and shared tips that allowed us to experience the Amalfi Coast like locals rather than tourists. Thanks to them, we created some of the most unforgettable memories. We cannot recommend Annabelle Elegant Agri Resort Hotel highly enough. Stayed one night in this lovely hotel just outside Sorrento. Wish we had more time to spend here. Staff were so welcoming and wonderful. Rooms are excellent with comfy beds, great bathroom facilities and fantastic views of the bay of Naples and Vesuvio. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little pool on the roof terrace as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Recommended. 1. A great serine view of the Naples gulf from our Superior room sit-in balcony 2. Location : a short 12 minutes walk (up/down hill) from the pedestrian streets downtown 3. Service was exceptional. Friendly , accommodating and always available. 4. Room was very clean. And spacious, exactly like in the pictures. Bathroom was large with some modern twist. Very well ventilated. 5. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. The offerings changed everyday. 6. Rooftop infinity pool (5x5x1) was great to cool off on a hot August day.

We absolutely loved this hotel! Just far enough from the hustle of town to feel private. The walk was lovely to town. Rooms were big for Europe. Breakfast was a highlight. So many delicious options and with the best view ever!

Just got back from a 5 night stay. Cannot fault this cracking hotel; room was gorgeous with fantastic views (we had a superior room) and staff who couldn't do enough to help. Only slight downside to staying there is the road outside which is a bit scary until you're used to Italian traffic! No traffic noise to speak of whilst in the hotel. Spotlessly clean everywhere too. Would definitely recommend.

My mother and I stayed at Boutique Hotel Helios for 3 nights at the beginning of July and we had a really wonderful time. The value of the hotel with the complimentary breakfast and service was excellent. The staff did a great deal to help us throughout our trip with providing suggestions and helping us to call taxis, etc. The hotel has a pool which was lovely! The only downside to this hotel is that it is a bit of a walk to the city center (15 minutes), and this was only a problem because it was very hot in Sorrento at this time. I think if the weather had been cooler it would not have even been a factor to consider. The view of the sea and the fact that the hotel was not in the hustle and bustle was actually ideal.

Superb experience, pool on the roof is big enough and the scenery is world class.

We had an amazing stay at Magi House during our trip to Italy!! We stayed for 7 nights and the location was perfect, right in the heart of Sorrento with a 5 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to the Marina Grande and ferry port. The atmosphere was so personal, which you don’t always get in big hotels, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Luca greeted us at the front desk and was always available to answer any questions and give us tips on the area! Maina was also amazing and assisted us with breakfast every morning!! They have a complimentary breakfast bar with all the pastries you could want which was a nice surprise! Our room was very clean and perfect for 3 adults. Our experience was 10/10 and we would definitely stay again!

This was a first class choice. Central to everything you need great restaurants nearby close to the beach (beach beds €60-110) A short walk from the port. Excellent service, very clean, friendly and one of the best Air conditioning bedrooms I’ve ever been keep in. mind, no lifts

This place is a hidden gem in a city of gems. Staff were amazing and so helpful with everything and anything we needed. The room we booked was perfect. Complementary wine and snacks in the full size fridge with freezer. Microwave and coffee facilities and a tv downstairs and upstairs in the bedroom. But the most amazing thing was the location for me. Literally in the center of everything. 3 minutes to the port and similar to the main street and square. I'll definitely be returning.

The staff and accommodations were wonderful. Cool rooms, complementary water, great location and delicious breakfast options made this stop my favorite so far in Italy.

Well I find it very easy to write a review about this fantastic hotel Magi House. My wife & I have stayed a number of times whenever we are in Sorrento & the experience has always been nothing short of first class. The staff are so friendly & caring & have a genuine empathy for their guests which I think is due to the culture of the business. The establishment is always very clean, the rooms are fresh & modern, the service is terrific in every aspect, the lovely breakfast makes for a great start to the day in beautiful Sorrento by which you walk outside straight into the heart of the city. The owner Mariano is a lovely man,(say hi if you get a chance), his passion & dedication to the business is amazing & his goal always seems to be the perfect guest experience which of course sets the standard & culture through to his lovely team of people. This great boutique hotel is in the heart of Sorrento, surrounded by restaurants and easy walk to the pier. The service was above and beyond. Everything about the hotel seems brand new. Great rooftop breakfast buffet. I would definitely go back.

5 star for room and service. Place is not easier to access with heavy luggage but this offsets by the room and warm welcome.

What a place! 5 minute walk to the piazza and 2 minute walk to the station. The facilities are excellent and everywhere is spotlessly clean. We're half board and the evening meals are superb as are the breakfasts. The waiters are super lovely! We would certainly consider coming back here as this hotel ticked all the boxes!

The breakfast was amazing, unfortunately, the rooms are small but very clean. Overall great stay. It’s very close to the train station, which makes it a perfect location. But at the same time, because of the location it doesn’t have great views. It has 2 pools, they close at around 6 pm, which is early. And both of them are small.

This hotel was a good option, more affordable than others, close to the heart of Sorrento. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station and an 8 minute walk to the downtown shopping district, however there were many stores and restaurants right outside the doorstep too. The rooms were comfortable with nice beds. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin. We could hear people in the room beside us quite well. I could hear them getting ready in the bathroom and. Old hear their television.

We absolutely loved our stay at hotel Michelangelo! The location is prime. You can’t get any closer to the sorrento train terminal and the walk down to the marina is so beautiful and a peaceful walk that we enjoyed every day. The full service breakfast is wonderful and the staff are all so kind and attentive. The rooftop bar and views are really nice we enjoyed the beautiful views of the water and Mount Vesuvius with a class of wine many time. Would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

If you are coming here for the Jacuzzi don't bother. They dont heat it, and will gaslight you to think that a jacuzzi is supposed to be cold. Other than that, the kitchen staff were great, the room was clean but every room only accommodating for two people including only two chairs on the small balcony.

Great location in the centre of Sorrento the hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful the rooms are a good size but appear a little dated but you're not there for the rooms. The rooftop bar Staff were great but all of them were great. Would definitely recommend.

Along the main thoroughfare and amongst "city" center. The hotel is a refurbished villa with plenty of tile and wood. There is a small outdoor pool, but no fitness facility.

Great stay. Stunning view, with Vesuvius in the background, making our stay even better. The bus wasn’t too long - about 8 minutes from the hotel to the drop off station and back. Also, the pool was cool for us, perfect for the heat. I would just say that it is quite deep for children to dive and swim. The breakfast room was fancy and food varied. Sausages, bread, cake, beans and drinks were amazing! Couldn’t think of more! The tables were layed out neatly and were amazed by the popularity in the room. We could not say ‘NO!’ to going to this hotel. We have 2 more days of our 8 day total stay, and this is so good! We would rate it more stars if we could, HONESTLY! So if you go to Italy, stop at Sorrento and go to the Grand Hotel Aminta! It was amazing; staff were friendly, great quality food and so much more! I am happy to recommend this place to all of you tourists From your favourite ❤️ guide!

Just back from another fantastic holiday at the Grand Aminta in Sorrento. It was just as special as our last holiday there in 2024. Special mention to all the wonderful staff who really make you feel welcome and build a rapport with their guests. Everyone was excellent from the pool guy, restaurant staff, bar staff and reception, nothing was ever too much trouble! I asked if it was possible to have a full length mirror in the room as noticed there wasn’t one and a mirror was fitted the very next day when we were at the pool. We also requested room service for our dinner a couple of times and again no problem whatsoever. Really great hotel with the most amazing setting and views over Naples, Mount Vesuvius and Capri. Only small bit of feedback I’d like to give is that we preferred it when the outside bar was open during the day, added to the daytime vibe, that said the drinks service from the inside bar was always excellent. Thanks everyone for another super holiday. We will be back again at some point in the future that’s for sure

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Views of Vesuvius from our balcony/room gorgeous. Bus shuttle service to town only 8 mins and very reliable and regular. Staff fab. Breakfast restaurant beautiful setting with panoramic views of sorrento. Bar and terrace area magnificent views. Pool area very relaxing great music and pool attendant fab always helping without being asked. Interior of rooms and reception and lounge area fabulous and relaxing. Would definitely stay here if visiting Sorrento again.

We stayed here for several days. The room was clean, the view was excellent, and the breakfast was also very good. The hotel staff were very professional. They helped us with everything we asked for. The only downside is the location; we had to take a shuttle bus to get to downtown Sorrento. If you want easy access to downtown, this hotel may not be the best choice. For us, however, the trade-off was that it was quiet, which we were happy with. Perhaps this is an upside for travelers who are looking for a great view and a quiet location. The shuttle service was usually on time, so we just planned our downtown visits around its schedule. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Came back last night from our 3rd stay at the Aminta. Absolutely wonderful time as always. The view is the obvious draw here,but the hidden jewel are the staff. Cant fault one of them. Always so welcoming helpful and friendly,especially Ernesto Lauren and the pool man whose name eludes me. I did prefer it when the pool bar seating and the bar was accessible during the day but appreciate the fact that many may like it this way round. . The hotel is spotless classic and so beautiful. We are going today to book again for next year.

Overall: A great hotel for those that enjoy hotel living, this is the kind of hotel you stay at and don’t leave from. A perfect quiet, romantic vacation spot far from the hustle and bustle. We especially enjoyed the DJ/disco nights, the pool, and the beautiful views overlooking the bay and sunset. Pros: Clean. Professional service. We loved the beautiful pool overlooking the bay, the poolside service, and our room had a gorgeous sunset view. I enjoyed the vanity area with the lights in our room, as there was minimal space in the bathrooms. Another highlight for amenities was the beautiful, large, jet tub. This was fantastic to enjoy after spending the day in the pool, or walking around downtown. The drinks from the bar were delicious, especially the French martini. The resident DJ was spinning amazing music on Thursday and Monday evenings, as lovers of live music, this was a lot of fun. Cons: One of the only hotels that didn’t give us any honeymoon/anniversary gift, like a bottle of wine or some fresh fruit. We didn’t love that the pool AND sauna closes at 7pm. For a hotel that caters to adults, it doesn’t make sense to close the sauna that early. My partner and I wanted to enjoy the sauna after being at the pool all day and they told us it was closed. The sun was barely setting. I can’t see anyone that would want to use the outdoor sauna that overlooks the beautiful sunset in the middle of the day. I hope staff realizes the huge missed opportunity to open the bar next to the sauna and let the sauna be open to adults until at least 10pm. That gives people 3hrs after sunset to enjoy the sauna with nighttime views, order a few drinks from the bar, then grab one or two more drinks after the sauna closes. Hopefully this will be open later in the future. We would have used it more if it were open when we wanted to use it. We also had an issue with wi-fi. Our wifi service and our TV that was connected to wifi continuously dropped and was very poor. When we brought it up to the owner, Jean Paul, he got a little bit defensive at first and was even arguing with me that “he checks the service for all the rooms, and his wifi works, we were the only ones complaining.” After more back-and-forth, he agreed to come with us to our room to test the wifi. Finally after seeing how horrible the wifi was for us and seeing that our TV kept dropping, he apologized and said he would get it fixed. When it was fixed, he found us by the pool and informed us it was fixed then asked for us to test it when we return to our room. I do appreciate the service and for getting our issue fixed. Another big issue for me was the shuttle bus. The buses are old, some of the seats are broken and held up with ropes (literally). The further you sit in the back, the more fumes you get from the gasoline being pumped out. This hotel is very far from downtown and there is a gap in the shuttle service hours. This is very important to be aware of. There are no laundromats, shops, beaches, or anything near this hotel, you have to walk or take a shuttle. For amenities, this hotel was one of the few that didn’t provide conditioner with their shampoo. There were no bathrobes either. The shower door was very odd, and hardly worked. If we took a shower and tried closing it, water would still spray everywhere, on the floor, and onto the toilet seat. I also did not like the suction cup floor mat on the bottom of the showers. It collected dirt and grime and was uncomfortable to sit on when using the bath tub. For the breakfast buffet, all of the juice and fruit was canned. This was extremely disappointing considering the fresh fruit and juice around. It’s not difficult to get fresh squeezed juice, or even offer some fresh lemonade to highlight the lemons in the area.

Just back from 8 nights at the Aminta & we loved it! Beautiful position with amazing views . Excellent, friendly staff , always welcoming. Particular mention to Peitro who was delightful, and professional. Restaurant Maitre d 's made the whole evening experience lovely too. Regular pool attendant requires a mention as hes so caring & never stops . Shuttle bus essential thank you. We did walk the steep route down into Sorrento several times , the views are brilliant . Walking back up is harder in the heat ! Missed just being able to walk a promenade or similar after dinner , cannot walk anywhere around hotel roads . We would definitely recommend Aminta & return one day.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Staff is exceptional here, especially Federica from the Front Desk. She was so kind, friendly and went above and beyond for us during check in. Thank you! All the serving staff is equally great, remembering things like dietary restrictions, always quick and attentive. Pools are both nice, hotel location is perfect (10 min walk to town), rooms are spacious, balcony ocean view is stunning! Overall 10/10!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel in Sorrento! We booked 5 rooms for our group, and every single detail was outstanding. The staff truly went above and beyond for us—when we accidentally left some luggage behind, they arranged to have it delivered all the way to Rome the very same day. That level of service is simply extraordinary. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The gym is excellent (one of the best I’ve seen in Italy), and the breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and generous. Between the incredible service, great amenities, and warm hospitality, I honestly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento!

We stayed here for one night on our honey moon and I wish we had booked more days here. The room was absolutely stunning. The view from the rooftop pool was breathtaking. All of the staff were amazing especially Angela who was working the rooftop bar, she was the sweetest! If we ever come back to Sorrento in the future I will definitely stay here again.

Best experience. Everything is on point at this hotel and they have the most incredible hard working friendly staff. My room was gorgeous, the food is incredible and the views are spectacular. So close to the square with anything you need. I used the state of the art gym, visited their spa, swam in the roof top and garden pools plus ate in their 3 restaurants and bar. It’s 5 star in my opinion. They provide everything with out having to ask. I didn’t want to leave. Shout out to Angela at the pool she’s amazing and Massimo the bell man, also the ladies who service the room. Front desk is so efficient and the servers go out of their way. Best breakfast I’ve seen. Can’t wait to return! Also internet works great.

We just stayed at the hotel. It was a lovely base for our few days touring - to Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii and Capri. Close to the train station and downtown. A well maintained facility. A few recommendations and why I didn't give it five stars: - The room with a lateral sea view has almost no sea view, unless you go out on the balcony, not from the room itself. - The TVs in rooms are smart TVs, but they have been set so they can't access wifi and Internet, with only CNN and Al Jazeera for English speakers. No Youtube or Netflix possible. - A weird interaction with the front desk about use of the gym. My wife hadn't reserved, which was pointed out to her - in spite of NOBODY having reserved. And when she said she'd like to use it for 90 minutes, the receptionist said that was usually not possible, and had to confer with the manager. Again, even though nobody else had scheduled the entire day. Strange. - And in a related 'we have our rules approach', when we went to breakfast on the last day and all the two person tables were taken by the window, we asked to sit at an empty four person table. No, we were told, that is only for groups of four. Even though there were 30 other four person tables available. That table sat empty the whole time we were eating. Strange again. - And finally, put a bottle or two of free water in fridge - charging 6 euro a bottle just seems cheap. I think the hotel is very well maintained and ordered for a reason - making sure things are done right is crucial. But staff should be trained a bit on always trying to make guests happy, when it is easy to do. I understand that in summer, when the place is full, rules are needed. But in the off season? But to conclude - a nice place. We had a good stay, and generally staff were quite nice.

Stay at this hotel if you're going to Sorrento! From the service, to the rooms, to the location, what an amazing hotel! The views from the rooftop pool of this hotel are so beautiful, you won't believe they're real. You can start every day with a delicious breakfast, then swim in one of their two beautiful pools. Need a drink or a snack, it's available. The staff, waiters, housekeeping are all extraordinary!

Great location just outside of old town. Staff was very friendly. Rooms and hotel was very clean. It seemed as if someone was always cleaning. Close to train station and great value. Breakfast was also nice to have before heading out for the day. I would recommend and stay here again.

The air conditioning in our room was extremely weak, making it difficult to sleep at night. Despite calling the front desk multiple times to ask for help, the issue was never properly resolved. Breakfast was very basic. On a positive note, the location, shower, and bed were decent — but unfortunately, the AC problem was a deal breaker for us. We would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel was a big disappointment and definitely not worth 4 stars. The breakfast had very little variety, and while the servers were fine, the overall experience was poor. The air conditioning barely worked, making the nights uncomfortably hot—I had to rely on my own mini fan. No daily water refill was provided, which is very different from other hotels I’ve stayed in. Even worse, my room door could not lock properly, which felt unsafe. The WiFi was extremely weak, and the whole system and structure need serious renovation. From the outside, the property looks excellent, but once I unpacked and stayed, it turned into a nightmare. Not recommended unless major improvements are made

My wife and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay here. We visited in late September and had great weather. The hotel is nicely decorated and we loved our terrace balcony with a great view of the bay. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast. We did not make too much use of the beach but it is pretty rocky down there so I would recommend bringing some water shoes or flip flops. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant and the food and service was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at La Tonnarella for two nights on our way to Positano from Rome. I wish we had stayed longer! The staff was extraordinarily pleasant and helpful - even working out a time for us on the beach. The room had an amazing balcony overlooking the bay of Naples and Mt V. The A/C worked fine and the bathroom was large and adequate for my family of four w/two sinks. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the restaurants and stores in Sorrento.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. You can't beat the location, right on the cliffs edge yet easily walk to town. The hotel is classic elegant Italian style. The private beach and bar are a great place to relax and have fun. Food was exceptional whether in the breakfast room or patio with stunning views all around. And the staff...top notch. This hotel is the ultimate Sorrento experience.

Our bed mattress and pilloews were as hard as rocks. Tiny but the terrace and was amazing. Little beaitiful walk to gorgeous downtown Sorrento. Breakfast and service was amazing

Highly recommend LaTonnarella. It is in a great location with breathtaking water views from the rooms and dining room. The hotel’s decor is beautiful. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The food is delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room had a beautiful view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius in the distance, truly breathtaking! The rooms have everything you need, and are comfortable with modern fittings in the bathroom. It is far from the city centre however this makes the hotel more charming in my opinion, and they have a complimentary shuttle service which runs frequently from the hotel to the city centre. All the staff were lovely and helpful, which was great. The breakfast could possibly have more hot savoury items, as there are lots of cakes/sweets, however it is still a good offering. Thank you for our wonderful stay! Update: We gad to leave at 4am for a flight and they provided us with a packed breakfast which I thought was a really lovely touch. Very kind!

⸻ Wonderful Stay at Hotel Cristina – Stunning Views & Excellent Service I recently stayed at Hotel Cristina in Sorrento for four nights with five friends, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. I booked directly with the hotel, and everything was managed seamlessly from start to finish. I was extremely happy with the level of service. We had two beautiful rooms with balconies overlooking the sea – the views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. While the rooms themselves were a bit small, this seems common across many Italian hotels. There was a slight muggy smell initially in our room, but this was quickly resolved by keeping the balcony doors open and letting the fresh air in. The beds and pillows were on the firmer side, and personally, I would have preferred something softer for more comfort. That said, the rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, with daily changes of bedding, fresh towels, and even pool towels, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – from reception to the breakfast and dinner service, everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Breakfast, which was included, offered a lovely variety of hot and cold options, plus fresh coffee each morning. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was not only delicious but came with an incredible view overlooking Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The terraces and pool area were excellent – a great place to relax during the day. It was a special trip to celebrate my 40th birthday, and the hotel made it extra memorable by decorating the room with balloons and leaving a complimentary bottle of bubbles – such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus that runs frequently between the hotel and Sorrento’s main bus station, which is a very convenient central point for reaching the town, beach, and port. There’s also fresh drinking water available in reception, and overall, the hotel felt very safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Hotel Cristina to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with stunning views and warm hospitality in Sorrento.

My wife and I enjoyed a five night stay at Hotel Cristina Sorrento in September. We would stay again when we return. The room was nice and with its own large terrace providing a gorgeous view of the Bay of Naples from high on the mountain way above city center with lounge chairs, a table and two chairs. We tried the hotel's dining the first night and were delighted with fabulous meals along with the open air dining terrace with the same beautiful views. We watched the sun set, the glow fade, stars coming out. Then the lights turned on land around the bay and lights on the boats made for a majestic setting. Our service from every member of the dining team was exemplary. Truly extraordinary personable and professional attention. Their chef was amazing with many home made pasta dishes that melted in my mouth along with Peroni on tap, chianti wines and limoncello after dessert made it so good. The walk down one flight of stairs to our room was so convenient. We loved it so much we dined all five nights at Hotel Cristina having had special lunch venues on our daily trips. The hotel front desk staff, especially Chiada who provided much help during our stay.

A really lovely hotel perched atop a hill overlooking the city, the surrounding mountains, and the sea! Be sure to get a sea view room with a balcony. The shower was great, the bed was good, the breakfast was great! Francesco makes a fabulous cappuccino! Really great breakfast group. Note... this hotel has a free shuttle service which we didn't use because we are walkers with backpacks but you will need the shuttle or a cab to get to the top of the hill. But it's a sight worth it!

Hotel Cristina was amazing. The views were spectacular. You could see Vesuvius, the area surrounding Sorrento and the bay of Naples. The rooms were gorgeous with a large private balcony. Amazing air conditioning. The room was so cold every night (which is rare for Italy). Great restaurant with amazing food. Breakfast was included every morning with a wonderful variety of foods. They also serve snacks, lunch, and dinner- all of which was incredible (better than the food in town and some of the best meals we ate). But most importantly the staff was friendly and the highlight of every day (especially the concierge, chiara, Francesco, Anna- among many others). The owner was lovely. Will definitely return.

Partner and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Overlooking the town of Sorrento, Hotel Cristina offers you proximity to the towns citylife while also remaining off the beaten path with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are the best part as they really go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with your stay. Will be coming back next time we are in southern Italy!

We were very happy to stay at this hotel. The rooms are very nicely decorated, with the blue tiles. From the pictures, we thought it’d be a bit much, but in person, it’s very pleasant and adds a lot of character. Our room (superior) had a view of the street but we had to keep the windows closed for most of the time to get some privacy, since it’s on a low floor so people could see into the room, but that didn’t bother us much. Location was perfect, steps away from the elevator/stairs to the port and from the main streets. Service was also excellent, with a 24h reception and friendly staff. And the breakfast was outstanding, with so much variety and everything was delicious (video attached). They also offered a cooking class that you could sign up for if you let them know in advance. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend it.

During our recent visit to Sorrento my son and I had the pleasure of staying at this boutique hotel. Such a great discovery for service, location, and hospitality. The kitchen team were amazing and provided a very lavish breakfast every day with superior service. The reception team were very helpful and assisted with anything we required assistance with. The location is unbeatable and we couldn’t recommend it enough. This hotel is definitely ideal for a variety of people and will not disappoint. We would absolutely stay here again when we next visit Sorrento.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maison Il Conservatorio. The hotel is stunning, with beautifully designed and incredibly spacious rooms that exceeded our expectations. Its location is perfect—just steps from the port and the heart of Sorrento, making it ideal for exploring the town. The breakfast each morning was delicious and a highlight for the whole family. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. This was truly a five-star experience in every way. We’re already looking forward to returning to this exceptional hotel and the charming town of Sorrento.

We honestly can’t fault this hotel. The front desk staff were absolutely divine! No request was too hard for them, they canceled restaurant reservations for us, booked other ones, beach towels were free of charge (unlike our hotel in Nice), we got a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to help celebrate our honeymoon. The breakfast is absolutely delicious!!! Freshly baked goodies every morning which you can smell in the lobby it’s absolute heaven. Our room was massive, big king bed, little desk, a full day bed, the biggest shower, double sinks and a wardrobe! The bed and pillows are very comfy! And don’t forget about turn down service every night, with little orange lollies on our pillows, something I looked forward to each day! Location is amazing, we walked everywhere! We will be back!

The hotel staff are extremely kind. Considering the excellent location, the great room condition, and the incredible kindness and consideration they showed me, I can’t help but give them a 5-star rating. When I had to check out early before breakfast hours, the breakfast package they prepared for me still remains a deeply touching memory. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Sorrento in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ara Maris in Sorrento. The staff went above and beyond, even upgrading us to a junior suite! The hotel was clean with great amenities (including a Dyson hair dryer in the room), and the breakfast was excellent. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy, Ara Maris stood out as the best. A big thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay so memorable!

We just returned from 5 nights in Sorrento at the hotel and i’d do it all over again. We arrived from a few busy days in Rome and the hotel was the perfect relaxing experience we needed. The resort pool was so beautiful to enjoy food and drinks by followed by evenings on the rooftop. We spent every night watching the sunset with incredible cocktails and were able to walk right outside of the hotel and be in the city center to shopping, dining, and exploring within a handful of blocks. The entire staff created an incredible stay for us as the hotel from breakfast to dinner to servicing the room each day. Valentino provided such an enjoyable experience and went above and beyond to cater small touches to us, that genuinely made our trip. He suggested we enjoy the rooftop for sunsets and it became our favorite view of the entire town. Would go back again in a heartbeat to spend time with the friendly staff and enjoy the property!

If you ever get the chance to stay at the beautiful Ara Maris Hotel in Sorrento, you will not be disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless — the reception, the warm and attentive staff, the immaculate grounds, and the stunningly beautiful rooms with breathtaking views. Every detail exceeded our expectations. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The food was outstanding, and each evening we made our way to the Lumi Rooftop Lounge to enjoy the most spectacular sunsets. A special mention must go to Valentino, our server each night, who was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. Traveling as Americans in Italy, we know we’re not always the easiest to please, but Valentino went above and beyond to make our evenings unforgettable. His genuine care truly elevated our stay — I would absolutely recommend requesting him if you’re visiting. Words can hardly capture how magical the sunsets are from the rooftop, paired with such exceptional service. We will definitely return to Ara Maris on our next trip to Sorrento. My daughter and I took a dream trip in Sept/Oct covering Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento. Our four nights at Ara Maris were the absolute highlight of our stays. It’s ideally located with the most lovely shops and restaurants steps away. The hotel itself is beautiful with rooms so comfy you could stay in all day! Ours had a large balcony overlooking Mt Vesuvius, just wow! There’s a relaxing pool area off the restaurant where you can have breakfast (amazing selection of hot and cold options), lunch and dinner. For the best views day or night - the rooftop Lumi Lounge serves up delicious libations, snacks and dinner. Order your favorite sip and take in the stunning sunsets! I can’t say enough about the team at Ara Maris. They made sure our stay was 5 stars + — no request was too big or small. The only complaint - we had to leave!

The location is perfect. The staff are fantastic. Giulia from concierge in particular was amazing and went above and beyond. The room was spotless everyday and was a great launch point for trips to Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Breakfast every morning was terrific at the hotel. The gym was modern and clean and the pool area always had luxurious lounge chairs available. 5/5 will be back!

My family and I have stayed at the Ara Maris for 4 nights. We had one junior suite and one superior room. Elena welcomed us. She was very nice, professional and always helpful. Garden view was amazing, better than the sea view, in my opinion. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. The service was extra ordinary. The pool and its surroundings is beautiful. The hotel is well located, close to everything, city center, shops, restaurant and the marina. I highly recommend this hotel.

We just returned from the most memorable trip and cannot say enough wonderful things about Ara Maris. This is a magical place where you will receive exquisite attention. Every detail has been considered and guests are the priority of each and every team member here. We loved the variety of activities available, especially pedal tennis and yoga sessions that added a refreshing touch to our stay. 🍽️ The food was a highlight—delicious, beautifully presented, and full of local flavor. Every meal felt like a celebration of Italian cuisine. The staff were incredibly attentive and warm, making us feel truly welcome throughout our visit. Don't think twice about staying here if you are on the fence. This hotel was one of the best hotel's that my Husband and I stayed at during the duration of our honeymoon. We jumped around from city to country and I must say, Hilton Sorrento has outdone themselves. Location was excellent, room was immaculate! Absolutely loved how clean the place was. Excellent staff and beautiful lobby. If we ever travel back to Sorrento, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. One of the best hotels between Italy and France.

Lovely hotel! Huge rooms! Amazing breakfast and staff they have a kids club and make fresh olive oil! They make their own olive oil it was wow! We had a wonderful room with balcony and a splendid view of Mount Vesuvius!! Only limitation is that it’s not close to the city center about 15 minute walk! So if you have kids, you will just need to take a short cab! Not a big deal! Hotel is fantastic with amazing views! They have olive trees everywhere and various restaurants l! You don’t have to leave it you don’t want too! They also have a wonderful pool! The room service is splendid! We stayed in last night and ordered a bottle of wine and food was fabulous! Alone or with kids I highly recommend!

Our stay at the Hilton Sorrento Palace was fantastic—easily one of the best Hilton properties I’ve experienced (and three of my top four are now in Italy!). Danilo greeted us on arrival, took care of our bags, and was incredibly friendly and helpful while we waited for our room. Federica was wonderful throughout our stay, and Silvio at the rooftop bar made the experience even better with great service and a welcoming attitude. Beautiful views, excellent service, and a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sorrento.

Room was very spacious and staff were friendly. The breakfast had amazing options. Location is a bit further from the centre of sorrento and the beach, with a bit of an uphill walk on the way back (nothing crazy steep or long). Deducting a star because the pool closed very early and I never understood why as the nights are still quite hot in Sorrento and the pool should've been open till 8pm minimum.

We stayed here one night during our honeymoon in September after leaving a quieter boutique hotel in Massé Lubrense. What a mistake. We choose a gorgeous room with a balcony overseeing the Mount Vesuvius. We had champagne waiting for us which was nice. But that's where it ends. The room had a weird wet mould smell. We called the front desk and housekeeping. Someone came she sprayed stuff and said "it comes from the air conditioner". So now it smelled like flowers and mould. The room we had was large, big closet and bathroom but cold and somewhat dusty. The balcony was lovely. Overcrowding by the pool. Inattentive staff. The executive lounge was the only highlight. Lots of space and indoor outdoor options. Breakfast was a heard of people. We were glad we spent only one night. As a Hilton member I wanted to stay at some of their properties but wow this is a never again. We were so sad we left the other one early. The other plus is is close to the main streets if you want to shop and eat off the property which I encourage you to do!

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in! The views are incredible! The hotel is stunningly beautiful! The breakfasts are delicious and have so many options! My only minor complaint is the is a small gap between the beds when they make them up to be a king sized, so it's hard to cuddle your significant other without sleeping in the gap.

We had a great stay. Great location nearby to the city center and about 15 min walk to the train station and the port. Good value proposition, especially compared to other places in the area. A big thank you to Giuseppe at the reception, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities that really made our trip special. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were clean and in a good location. Although, the walls were thin and neighboring guests were quite loud I would say that the accommodation was pleasant. However, I had purchased some luxury perfume for my wife for her birthday which came with 3 perfume samplers. While we were out exploring, housekeeping had taken the perfume shopping bag out of our luggage, and stolen the 3 perfume samplers. When we went to the front desk to report the incident, they did not take it seriously. The help desk kept saying that the only people who could have entered the room were us and the housekeeping, and that the housekeeping staff would never do something like that. If you care about your belongings, or being respected by the staff I cannot recommend this location.

Updating review as my husband was bit 6 times from bedbugs at this hotel / beware! Service at check in was wonderful. Rooms are spacious, but the beds are hard and no coffee in rooms. Otherwise location is a short walk from the hustle and bustle of downtown- so pretty good.

Great stay at a great price. Large room, well stocked with toiletries. Helpful staff who helped with booking tours, getting hot water, extra room Good buffet breakfast. 15 minute walk to train station, with stores, restaurants, and groceries in between.

i went to stay here for a nice getaway and it was one of the worst hostels i've experienced. ingoring the hideous design choices they've made the actual quality of thr furniture was hideous. the beds frames were cracked with all the wooden slabs were broken and i tried to lie down and fell strait through (im 5,0 and 40kg) The walls were so thin you could here everything from in the halls and other rooms and we got our door knocked on and phone rung multiple times until 2am. the breakfast was apalling and made me audibly gag, and the options were minimal, serving an obergine quiche, and out of date vomit eggs. the one bearable thing wich was the hot chocolate also spilt on my brand new white linen trousers due to the faulty tables coming crashing down on my husbands foot, i was not compencated. and for stale cerial options served in plastic sick bowls, the disgusting breakfast was also pared with furnitue and paintings wich were quite frankly rank. the door only was able to be left ajarr so if you would like to sleep in fear of an intruder then this is the place for you. there was a yellowish stain in the bath and the water only came out scolding hot ready to peel off your skin, and in addition, it was hand held. the towels were alo the equivalent of one ply toilet paper. the housekeepers blatantly ignored my do not disturb sign, and washed my expencive airport bonbons, and covered them in an unkoen sticky substance that smelt like pork. avoid like the plague. 👎

This is a great hotel. Clean, great location, staff are perfect, and solid price. Special shoutout to the staff member Giessepe. Awesome dude who goes above and beyond for the customers. Anyone reading this, I highly recommend this spot. This isn’t a hostel like you may think, it is a great hotel.

The capri vip trip they recommended was amazing. Antonio is the best! The very best! Will definitely come back. Room is clean and spacious - surprisingly so. Don’t be fooled by the fact it’s called a hostel. It’s really a nice hotel.

Just come back from this amazing hotel and can't wait to return! Impeccable service, the cleanest rooms and the most wonderful location. Lovely breakfast. Antonio made an effort to learn our names on the first day and greet us warmly every morning and have a chat. Great selection of food at breakfast and the waiters were very attentive. The location is perfect and the view from the terrace bar is stunning. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the hotel is spotless throughout. Felt more like a 5star hotel. Loved it!

What a beautiful hotel! Can't beat the location and the rooms were beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious but at times the wait service was confusing - we might have come when the server's schedule for the next month came. Several servers gathered in a corner taking photos of a piece of paper and having their own discussions. I really would have loved a second cup of cappuccino and for someone to clean up our table, but of the 10 servers that seemed to be walking around aimlessly, none of them seemed to want to wait on people.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had one of the most appalling hotel experiences imaginable. On our second night, we were kept awake for hours by guests next door - screaming, banging on our wall, and other deeply disturbing noises. Despite video evidence and staff hearing the noise themselves, management’s only initial “solution” was to tell us to “call if it happens again.” The next step the hotel offered was a downgrade to a smaller, darker room without corner windows or pool views. When we declined, the manager promised to move the disruptive guests if it happened again - then lied and denied ever saying this when the behaviour inevitably continued. The guests were only moved after days of repeated complaints, us asking to leave the hotel, and another neighbour also being disturbed. The hotel refused every reasonable solution, lied to our faces, and only acted after two days of chaos, exhaustion, and stress. At check-out, no compensation was offered, and no one even asked how our stay had been, showing the lack of care for their guests. We were left visibly upset, sleep deprived and exhausted from spending hours of our honeymoon advocating for the most basic standards of hospitality. The hotel manager repeatedly downplayed the problem, broke promises, and treated us as though we were the issue, not the victims of constant disturbance. For a hotel marketed as 4-star, this is disgraceful. Instead of enjoying our honeymoon, we spent days stressed, sleep-deprived, and fighting for the most basic level of respect and peace. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you value professionalism, honesty, or a peaceful night’s sleep.

We stayed an extra night. I feel spoiled. Everything so amazing. They really pamper their guests with stunning art work/decore. So very clean. Accommodating to the highest degree. Rooftop lounge had amazing music and spectacular views, including fireworks launched from a boat. I love it here! Do I have to go home?

We had a fabulous stay! Though our arrival was stressful due to a rude taxi driver(that we booked), the hotel staff quickly turned things around—grabbing our bags and welcoming us warmly. The customer service was outstanding. The hotel is older but full of charm, and breakfast was a can't-miss highlight. I had a sore throat one morning and asked if the hotel had anymore mini honey jars from breakfast—the front desk had it brought to me right away. Beach access and thoughtful service made this stay unforgettable. We were so sad to leave them & will stay with them again.

We Visited in July 2025 and had a great time. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay—especially Antonio at the bar, who was always chatty, remembered our usual orders, and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to visit. The rooms and pool area were both clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great variety of options to choose from each morning. Big thanks as well to Antonio the bus driver—he was extremely helpful with directions and made getting around simple and stress-free. Overall, lovely views and a really enjoyable stay. Would happily come back!

Grand Hotel President was fine but we probably wouldn’t stay again. First, if it wasn’t for the free shuttle, the hotel would likely not survive. The views are spectacular but some at a cost. We stayed 6 nights in late September and it is about a 35-45 euro taxi ride each way to and from Sorrento. The shuttle was full most times and you will definitely need to plan for your ride. The drop off point is near hotel Ceasar Augusto which is about a 10 minute walk to the main piazza and a 20 minute walk to the ferries with lots of steps involved and not for the elderly. If you are arriving by ferry with luggage, you will definitely need a taxi to the hotel. It is just too many steps. The shuttle runs on the hour so you need to plan. We were disappointed that neither the hotels pool nor the jacuzzi were heated. For a semi warm hot tub, its 20 euro each person for two hours inside. We did a massage and hot tub afternoon for 200 euro for two. The breakfast is very good, but we never dined in the hotel. We chose to eat at the many great restaurants in Sorrento. The wine list at the bar was not very good. The room was small but adequate, we stayed in room 264 with a view of the parking lot. Some nights were chilly and the rooms have only central heating which was not turned on for the season. Id like to say that Antonio the shuttle driver was excellent and made the trip fun. Margarita the room maid was excellent and friendly. The staff were friendly. We would stay in Sorrento next time because of proximity and the city itself offers many great views. I would say that the hotel is over priced and barely four stars only for the view.

I truly believe it’s one of the best spots you could choose to stay in the area. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle down to the heart of Sorrento, making it super easy to explore while still enjoying the peaceful, elevated setting. One of the highlights for me was the stunning rooftop bar—it’s the perfect place to unwind with a drink while taking in panoramic views of the coast. I was able to capture some amazing photos there—ideal for content or just unforgettable memories! The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and welcoming, with a touch of elegance. The staff are so friendly and attentive, always making you feel looked after. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh, local dishes that highlight the best of Italian cuisine. The pool area is beautifully kept, surrounded by gorgeous views, and the whole place has such a relaxing vibe. Whether you’re lounging in the gardens, sipping cocktails at sunset, or enjoying dinner on the terrace, everything adds to the experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back—Grand Hotel President is a true gem in Sorrento.

We had a great time at this hotel! The views are gorgeous and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. It’s not walkable to the center of Sorrento but the hotel provides a shuttle to the center every hour which was convenient. The only downside about this hotel was that the breakfast was not good- it was dirty (saw lots of hair in the food and on the tables).

The views are spectacular. The vast majority of staff particularly cleaning team and main restaurant staff are warm and welcoming. Food at breakfast is great. Good selection for everyone. There are a mixture of both couples and families with young ones. Staff are always great with young families and helping those that need it. Our biggest bug bear is not sleeping well. Very disappointed with the level of noise that could be heard through walls in the corridor and next door when you are in your room. Moved room still didn't make a difference. Spoke to other guests and they said the same. I will not be returning for that very reason. I want to sleep well on my holiday not feel shattered from not sleeping well. So it's a no from me. It would have been 1 star only but that would be unfair to the staff who are working hard in those areas I previously mentioned. Finally dont get hung up on the hotel star rating it's given. For me it doesn't feel like a 4 star at all. But that's my personal view and it's very country dependent.

My husband & I were celebrating our golden wedding year at this fantastic hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were exceptional esp in the dining room. The outlook from the hotel is fabulous & even more so from rooftop bar. Everywhere was spotless. Regular Shuttle bus service into town & possibly walkable if not limited mobility. Pool was spacious & sunbeds aplenty. All in all we would definitely return.

The hotel is beautiful, with an amazing location that offers stunning views of Sorrento. It’s a very peaceful place to stay. However, the prices for drinks at the hotel are quite expensive. Since there are no local shops or bars nearby, the hotel can charge whatever they like. For example, a lime soda costs 5 euros (compared to just 99 cents in supermarkets), and an Aperol Spritz is 13 euros, whereas it’s only 8 euros in bars in the main town. I’m happy to pay regular prices, but not inflated ones just because there’s no other choice.

We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Sorrento! We stayed in one of the garden villas which featured a private patio with outrageously beautiful view of the city, a jacuzzi tub, and hammock, all set up above main hotel in a Sorrento style garden. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning in the gorgeous restaurant. Made to order eggs, Nutella pastries, and cappuccinos were our favorites. We also got room service for dinner the night of our arrival and everything was perfetto! The most important mention goes to the staff however. The service was wonderful, and the friendliness topped any hotel we’ve ever been to. We both speak a little Italian, and they encouraged our mediocre skills and always met us with a smile. We will be back! Ci vediamo!

The Hotel Bristol is set in a fantastic location up a hill on the west side of Sorrento, giving it spectacular views across the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The rooms are spacious, ours had a king size bed, balcony with 2 chairs and a table and the bathroom was a good size with good lighting as well. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay and are hoping to return in a couple of years. I have seen people moaning about having to pay for towels at the pool, but to be honest €1 isn't a lot and it stops people from taking more towels than they need. You can also use your own towels. Some have said that rooms on the lower floors can be a bit noisy with the traffic so we asked for a room on an upper floor and our room was very quiet.

Superb hotel with excellent facilities and incredibly friendly staff. The room that we were in was clean, well kept and clearly well looked after with really great Air-Con, which was much needed. We were lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the harbour and the views were spectacular, however - this is the case anywhere in the hotel, whether you’re on the terrace, by the pool or even in the cigar room. The pool and gym facilities were always spotless and it was usually possibly to get a sun-bed without getting to the pool really early. Small bonus about this hotel, there is a garden area above the pool, which feels somewhat separate from the rest of the facility. I highly recommend searching it out and having a walk around it, it’s quiet and very very pretty. Special mention goes to the food quality (beautiful) and the waiting staff who were always present, friendly and incredibly professional (special mention goes to the manager Luca and then one of the senior waiters, Giuseppe). I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Spotless, cool, incredibly well catered and just far enough outside of town to make it pretty quiet.

This place was amazing, great food, great view, great rooms, great pool. The facilities were excellent, and also the staff. Me and my family went during August of 2025 and We loved it. Shout-out to the Giuseppe's who were extremely hospitable to us during our 1 week stay and even gave us free. extra desserts during dinnertime. The pool was a great daytime relaxation spot. The only thing this hotel needs to improve on is getting rid of the mosquitos in the table tennis area, but aside from that, this hotel was AMAZING!

We had our best vacation here in Sorrento and what made it memorable is our stay in Bristol hotel. Service is great. The rooms are spacious. The balcony is amazing and the views are breathtaking. If I would ever come to Sorrento again I would definitely stay in this beautiful hotel. They have a terrace with a big pool over viewing the beautiful Sorrento views. I would highly recommend that you book in this hotel the only drawback is that they charge for the pool towels so you can get your own other than that, Everything is just perfect.

Location is amazing within walking distance to main Sorrento strip with shops, bars and cafes! The room is very spacious with incredible views of mount Vesuvius! The cherry on top is the staff. My partner is gluten intolerant and the staff are amazing telling her exactly what can be eaten at breakfast and dinner or lunch if you swap dinner for lunch. Lots of foods can be substituted unless it’s freshly made. The food is amazing! The staff are very kind, polite, friendly and happy to help if you have any questions or issues. Would definitely recommend this hotel and sorrento as a whole very picturesque with great excursions like going to pompeii and mount Vesuvius, getting the ferry to Capri and also an amalfi coast or sunset tour.

Best hotel I’ve ever been to!!! The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of Vesuvius and Sorrento, which was just a 5 minute walk down the road. The staff were also very kind. Breakfast has a large variety of food, including fruits, pastries, cheeses and even fresh omelettes; and the evening meals were 3 courses of delicious food, which could be swapped for a lunch if preferred. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend coming here.

This hotel is in a great location with the most incredible views of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius! Although it is not in easy walking distance of Sorrento, the hotel has a free shuttle bus to get to and from the town, which we found to be reliable. Our room (triple room) was perfect for what we needed, and it was always very clean. The staff were all really lovely and approachable, especially Tony, he was FANTASTICO 😊 The only slight downside was that we stayed half board, and although the breakfast was nice, the evening meal options were sometimes hit or miss. But this might be down to personal preference. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting Sorrento for the views alone.

A peaceful stay with stunning views and thoughtful service We stayed three nights at Hotel la Vue D’Or and found it to be a beautiful and peaceful accommodation. Our room comfortably slept four, with one queen bed and two singles - perfect for our teenagers. The space was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was surprisingly large compared to other stops on our trip. Our room overlooked the pool and had lovely views out to the ocean. We were also regularly entertained by the resident donkey next door! The motel does seem to attract a predominantly 65+ crowd, so our teenagers weren’t too keen to hang around the pool area, but it was perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, and we want to give a special mention to the hospitality team for going out of their way to provide gluten-free breakfast options for our coeliac family members. It made a big difference. We especially loved the free shuttle into Sorrento – a great perk! Just a heads-up: if you need to be in Sorrento before 8am, you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs around 50 euros. The views of Mt Vesuvius from the property are absolutely stunning. If you don’t have early morning commitments in town, take advantage of the shuttle and book your stay here – we’re glad we did!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel la Vue D'Or. Although the room and bathroom were smaller than we anticipated, we had a beautiful view off the balcony. The outdoor terrace/restaurant also has beautiful views. The staff was always helpful and professional. Dinner at the hotel was very good. We had a younger waiter, dark hair, during our stay. We unfortunately did not get his name, but he was professional, friendly and provided excellent dinner choices and wine recommendations when we ate at the hotel. The hotel does provide laundry service, but I believe it is a 3 day turn around time. The hotel also provides a bus shuttle service into town once an hour, so that is something to take into consideration when booking tours etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel la Vue D'Or.

Such a lovely hotel with amazing views and personalized service! The free shuttle is perfect to get to Sorrento. The staff is incredible, rooms are very clean with beautiful views, and nice pool with spectacular views. The SITA bus stop is just a 1 min walk if needed. The restaurant has a full spread breakfast that is perfect for fueling up for the day, Overall great value! Can’t say enough about the impressive personalized service.

Tony the head waiter at the restaurant is an absolute “Fantastico” person! We so looked forward to meals and our interactions over our 5 day stay in this magical place. Quite high up from Sorrento, the views of Sorrento, Mount Vesuvius and Naples is second to none! There is a free shuttle service every hour transporting guests to and from Sorrento. The pool area is also really nice. Great place, highly recommended but what really made our mornings and evening was our chats with Tony! Vue D’Or take care of that man!

Beautiful hotel… shuttle coach free every 30 mins to sorrento.. food really nice.. breakfast more continental than British… rooms comfortable… shower needs updating in our room that’s the only quibble… Thankyou all you have been amazing

Exceptional hotel. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Tata in particular was fantastic. Just threethings to be aware of, the air con knocks off if your balcony door is open and they use a tab service for all lunch and bar options which you settle at the end of your stay. Lastly, there are not so many beds by the pool with umbrellas, just to note if you like the shade. The bus service was very reliable to the centre it took about 15 minutes. Really looking forward to visiting again.

Stayed here for my honeymoon! The view from our balcony and the restaurant was breath taking. The staff were friendly and attentive. Giuseppe, the restaurant host in particular was a joy to be around. The 3 course meal every night was great, although we were often full by the appetiser.

We couldn’t recommend Hotel Minerva more- we enjoyed a 10 night break and were able to fully switch off due to being looked after by the team so well. Everyone was so helpful and there to provide the personal touch. The restaurant and bar team were fantastic, as were housekeeping and the reception desk. The hotel itself is beautiful with the most amazing views of the bay, including from the balcony rooms and the pool on the roof terrace. The location is ideal to visit the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, and Capri. It’s a short 15 minute walk into the centre of Sorrento and 25 minutes from the ferry port, train & bus station. Public transport was manageable but be prepared to wait- the buses and trains were busy in May and the timetables were loosely followed! Thanks again to Hotel Minerva for such a wonderful stay, we will be back!

We spent an amazing time at the hotel Minerva. The hotel is charming and well maintained, the view is spectacular, the food is devine. We went multiple times in Sorrento to eat but I must say that the hotel diners were better, and the staff makes you feel home and special. The service is great quality and I cannot recommend enough this hotel.

What an extraordinary location! Fresh-cut flowers everywhere, magnificent views, and a great pool. So central and convenient. The beds and shower were super comfortable—everything was perfect!

Overall the hotel is really nice and clean. Leaving one star because the hospitality was horrible. The older gentlemen that works at the front desk isn’t friendly at all and neither is the bar tender. They offered little to no help navigating Sorrento. Were very rude when asking for a taxi.

Hotel Minerva in Sorrento is a great Hote, one of the best I’ve visited !! Situated on a cliff top above the town, ports and bay. Every porch seating (each room has a porch!!), either for dining or just relaxing, is an amazing experience. Each and every one of the staff of the hotel are superb. So helpful and kind. Highly recommended for a great vacation in Sorrento!

Loved our stay at the Minerva ! Perfect location to explore the area and to then return for some relaxation following long hot days. The roof top pool with view is out of this world. The food was excellent every day. All the staff without exception were absolutely amazing. Special mention for Guiseppe who runs the restaurant with such love and dedication and to Antonio for his alcohol free cocktails . We booked excursions through the hotel prior to arriving and enjoyed each one. My only suggestion would be to stock some alcohol free Prosecco for those of us who cannot drink and like to enjoy wine with dinner ! Thank you all at Minerva

Adequate accommodation. The room was clean, but could not regulate the temperature. The "jacuzzi" shower was ridiculously small and complicated to operate. Basic amenities were lacking such as no linings in rubbish bins, in room tea coffee and milk supplies were stingy. Found previous occupants' clothing and medication in one of the drawers. Mouldy fruit served at breakfast. Overall the place is in decline.

Way too expensive for the tiny, unclean, difficult to access rooms. It could have been lovely and charming, but it just was not. There is no elevator to the top floor without having to first walk up broken stone steps for 1 floor. The elvayor was ancient and scary. The showers are so small that I had to step out of it or shut water off just to wash my hair. If I dropped something, no way I could have picked it up without getting out first. I am 5' 2" tall and weigh 125#. Our friend was 6' tall and it was a nightmare for him. No air conditioning, only heat. It was crazy hot and humid while we were there for the last week. We had to leave windows open all night and it is incredibly noisy all night. Room cleaning staff left me dirty tea cups every single day and I had to buy my own tea because they never refilled the supplies in the room. Also, you are not allowed to eat or drink in your room. The lovely gentleman who served at breakfast was excellent. The breakfast options were excellent. But, I would never stay here again.

Location, location, location. Best location for our 1st visit to Sorrento. The breakfast was wonderful, and the coffee and juices were fresh and great tasting. The bed was very comfortable and the doors to the balcony locked out 90% of the noise for a great night's sleep.

We stayed at this hotel recently. There are pros and cons. Pros: 1. In the heart of the Piazza, very good location, in walking distance to everything. 2. The staff try their best to be accommodating. 3. They provided breakfast. Cons: 1. If you are a light sleeper, this will be a challenge. It is very noisy until late at night/early mornings as it's off the main side street. 2. Stayed in room 204 for most of our stay. The bathroom smelled like sewage the entire time, and small black drain flies were present. Brought this to management, who could not switch rooms due to the hotel being at capacity. This was quite unpleasant and uncomfortable. Overall, great location, but will not stay here again due to the rotten smells from the bathroom.

I recently stayed at Maison Tofani in Sorrento, Italy, and had an outstanding experience. The staff's hospitality and genuine friendliness stood out—they truly cared about our stay, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The hotel’s location in the heart of Sorrento was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and beaches. As my first boutique hotel experience in Europe, Maison Tofani exceeded my expectations. The staff's attention to detail, like preparing our breakfast at a time we chose, made our stay feel special. The air conditioning in our room was also a highlight, especially after coming from a hotel with poor A/C. It was a relief to return to a cool room after exploring in the heat. The only small downside was the busy pedestrian street outside, but the convenience of the location more than made up for it. I highly recommend Maison Tofani to anyone visiting Sorrento!

stayed in Room 303 at Hotel Maison Tofani and had a terrible experience. There was no running water in the room — no water in the toilet, shower, or sink. When we reported the issue to the front desk, they refused to move us to another room and claimed it was a "city-wide problem." To confirm, I spoke with several nearby businesses, and all of them had running water, so it was clearly a hotel issue, not a city issue. This is unacceptable, especially from a hotel that advertises itself as a luxury experience. No water means no toilet use, no shower, and no way to wash hands — completely unsanitary and unsafe. We requested a full refund due to the lack of basic amenities, but the hotel refused. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. If something goes wrong, don’t expect this hotel to take responsibility.

The room stayed generally clean. However the bathroom was clogged and I contacted the front desk 2 times and even requested to speak with the manager. Nothing was done. It’s a good learning experience for me. I should start checking the bathroom right away before unpacking .

Our extended family of 7 stayed 5 nights in this beautiful Villa, occupying 4 of the 6 total rooms. Maria, (the owner) and the staff did everything to make our stay perfect. All the rooms were spacious, calm, beautiful and comfortable, and the bathrooms filled with amenities. We were warmly greeted (after 24 hours of travel) as we came in the orange and lemon tree filled property, served lemon juice and cake as our bags were brought in, and had a wonderful first night's sleep. Breakfast is above and beyond, with Maria and her sister getting up at 5 to bake a delicious assortment of cakes and quiche, which accompany meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, fruits... and so much more. Our best breakfasts during our 3 week stay in Italy! Made all the better with our daily conversations with the warm and fascinating Maria. We all loved the 20 minute walk to central Sorrento, which starts with a short cut (lined with cats!), to the main road, where we window (and chocolate) shopped on our way to explore Sorrento. We also did several excursions with rides organized by the very helpful staff. No hesitation in the 5 star rating and we all hope to be back! What a beautiful hotel and great host. I stayed here for my 50th back in April and had to share our experience with you all. This hotel is set a little bit out of town, that gives you amazing views of Sorrento and far into the distance. The customer service was 10 out of 10 and our room was beautifully decorated. The breakfast was stunning home-made pastries that have been beautifully arranged and sitting on the Terrace overlooking Italy’s coastline was stunning. I hope to come back here one day.

Really lovely place to stay. Fairly central, (which means that it's on a busy road, but double glazing and AC sorts that). The pool is really good, we didn't try the fitness suite but I'm sure that's good too. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for more!

We spent a fantastic 4 nights here in May. Quick fuss free check in with the lovely friendly helpful reception staff. Small, but very clean and comfortable room. Perfect for our stay. A short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the main center of Sorrento. But still an easy stroll after a few Vino's. A brisk walk to the ferry terminal took us 15 minutes and 10 minutes to the train station. We didn't have time to try out the pool or gym facility. Too busy exploring Amalfi and Capri. Maybe on our next visit. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of variety. Really tested our self control with so many beautiful pastries meats cheeses.

Our stay at Hotel Central Wellness was absolutely perfect. Everything was spotless, well organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind throughout. The amenities were great, and the breakfast was a highlight — fresh fruits and one of the best spreads we've had. No doubt, it's an excellent option for anyone staying in Sorrento!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Sorrento. Very comfortable family room for 4, which had 2 balconies and 2 rooms separated by a sliding door. Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and a reasonably large breakfast buffet selection - something for everyone. Relaxing wellness (purchased massages) and good size outdoor pool. Never too busy, and always found loungers. Great staff at the pool, a variety of drinks served and some food -mainly a lunch menu. Our room faced the street but we were never bothered by noise. Well insulated windows. The hotel and area was quiet, and far enough away from the center of town and the buzz of traffic and evening crowds. Yet only a few minutes walk from a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Will recommended to family and friends, and would be very happy to return. Thanks for a memorable stay in Sorrento!

We spent a week at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The reception staff were always smiling and professional. The hotel is pretty and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We also received some lovely welcome gifts (2 free cocktails, a small bottle of sparkling wine, water, and cookies in the room). The hotel is fairly well located, though it’s about a 15–20 minute walk to the center where you’ll find the main attractions, ferries, and the beach. My partner found it a bit far, but I didn’t mind. On the other hand, there are several nice local restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included and very good. A special mention to our waitress Caterina—very kind and provided excellent service! The hotel also has a pool, a sunbathing/relaxation area, and a snack bar. There is also a rooftop with a beautiful view where you can relax and enjoy a drink. Everything was great! I definitely recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation. I already miss it.

Great stay at Hotel Central, staff were very pleasant and helpful and decorated our room for a special occasion which was appreciated. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We had a balcony but were not bothered by the noise outside at all. Yes it is a bit out of the way from the town centre but it is a nice easy walk into town from the hotel.

We had room 511 which was facing the back of the property (sea view). Probably worth the upgrade to not have the road which did have constant traffic. Hotel has good location, super king bed was good if not a bit creaky, great cocktails at the bar. Breakfast 8/10 Location 10min stroll to the old town Sorry could have better pictures!

came here from a friend recommendation and it was super nice. comfortable shadow spaces between trees to set up your camping tent or hammock with enough personal space end of july. beautiful view to the sea (super pretty at sunset times) both from main areas and a lot of the tent spots. all the staff that we had contact with (reception, bar, campsite, night guard, etc) went out of their way to talk/help/etc. the other visitors are also very nice creating a good atmosphere. i thanked my friend for the recommendation 💌

We stayed here in a chalet for 3 nights. It was super. The view over the coast is beautiful and you can sit outside your chalet in the evening listening to crickets and watching the light fade. You can walk down to the sea and along the sea into Sorrento. Lots of steps but otherwise easy access. The pool was really lovely clean and plenty of sunbeds to sit out. The walk along the road from Sorrento along a pavement isn’t very long but it’s got lots of traffic going at quite a lick and smelt strongly of car fumes, but you can catch the 008 bus. The pool was great, and we ate at the pizzeria one night and enjoyed it. The kitchenette didn’t have lots of equipment, but was fine for simple meals.

We stayed two people in a four person lodge. Plenty of space for two adults, it would have been a squeeze for four. Super comfortable bed and duvet, shower a little on the small side, fridge with small freezer compartment was good, we didn't use the kitchen. Great location, very walkable. Great pizza from the on site restaurant (closed Wednesdays) and the waiter was very friendly. Slow service at the bar for coffee or drinks, often there was no one there. Check out time is 10am so quite early and we were disturbed by three cleaners trying very persistently to get into our lodge at 9:15am.

This is the first camping we came back to, which was a first for us. Everything is just right at this camping. We were lucky to have a great spot with amazing view. The people are very nice, there is a bar with good coffee in the morning, lunch and drinks during the days & a pizzeria at night. The pool is lovely. And for a camping it’s quite unique that you also can walk to both a harbour (with some nice restaurants, paddle boarding, kayaking, having a small beach, chilling on sun beds & swimming) AND to the town of Sorrento which has a great atmosphere with lots of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

Our stay at this campsite was truly enjoyable. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering a very relaxing atmosphere. The people we met at the campsite were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for money. Great location when visiting Sorrento! We stayed in a cabin, they had everything we needed, kitchen was basic but had enough things if you wanted to cook, we didn’t as ate out each night. We enjoyed the pizza on the site, it also has a huge swimming pool and comfortable beds. Would definitely return in the future!

What a gem! A pleasure to find this site, nestled in the cliffs of Sorrento - the owners have had the foresight to retain the orchards trees and adapt the site so that visitors can enjoy the real Sorrento. Calm, clean and beautiful views to the Bay of Naples. Will go back!

Nestled in lemon groves and olive trees in the hills overlooking the bay of Sorrento and unbelievable views across the bay to Vesuvius itself, it was a joy to behold every morning from our extremely well appointed room. My wife and I visited in June- July to celebrate my 75th birthday. A long cherished ambition to visit Pompei and Capri. The reception staff recommended local companies for various trips- Pompei, Herculaneum, Amalfi, Positano and Capri and booked them for us. Thank you. We booked half board and had the option of swapping dinner for lunch if we were going out for the evening. We checked in after 11pm and were very pleasantly surprised to find a cold platter awaiting us in our room. Thank you catering staff. The food was varied and excellent for every meal and we were ably served mainly by Giovanni throughout our stay. Enjoy your retirement. In the bar Michael looked after our every need and the verandah bar had stunning views in the evening as the sun set outlining Vesuvius to its' majestic best. On one notable evening there was an electrical storm over the volcano and with a little imagination you could see Pompei as it erupted. I could go on but it's best if you just visit for yourself. We are returning in 2027 for my wife's big birthday. I apologise for the delay in posting this review but there is so much I wanted to say and can't get it all in.

Have just spent a glorious 7 nights at this beautiful hotel in Sorrento it was our second stay there and will definitely be returning again next year. Out of all the hotels we have stayed at in Sorrento this is definitely by far the best. The staff are impeccable and nothing is too much trouble for them. A special mention must be made to Roberto who is the Maitre D both he and his staff are second to none very pleasant chatty and caring. The food at this hotel is wonderful and if you do not like what is on the menu then you can ask for something that is more suitable for you. This hotel should be rated 6 star for its staff alone. Can't wait to see them all again next year.

Had an amazing week here with hubby and friends. The hotel is amazing. Rooms are big bright and very clean. Staff clean the rooms daily which is a treat. Food is amazing we were half board worth every penny. Had intended eating in town sometimes but chose to eat at hotel every night as food was so good. Prices at hotel are really reasonable which was a nice surprise. The staff what can I say so welcoming and friendly. Special mention to Gaetano, Brixton and Lorenzo who all took good care of us made our holiday. Reception staff also brilliant speak to them before you book ANY tours with your tour guide. Would definitely recommend this hotel it may be a bit out of town but the courtesy bus is excellent for getting back and forward. The views from the hotel are amazing. Just superb in every way. As usual it's the staff that make a business and the staff at this hotel were brilliant (Brixton deserves a special mention). Always ready with a smile and a hello and always obliging. The hotel internal decor is of a very high standard. The marble work to the floors and pillars just beautiful. The chandelier in the di ing room is massive. There's marquetry to every guest room door with the room number picked out in the floor tiles - quite exceptional. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and spacious. The view to Mount Vesuvious from the terrace is enviable and you can never tire of it. The dining room is excellent with tables covered in linen table cloths and linen napkins. The dining staff, as with all the hotel staff in smart and immaculate uniforms. Food is very good and plentiful. Rooms are spacious with spacious bathrooms. And each room does have a bath and not just a shower. The hotel runs a shuttle coach each hour to the town centre and back so there's no need to walk into town in the heat. The pool is very large and again kept spotless and there are lovely gardens to sit relax in. The whole venue is perfect for a wonderful holiday. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

Just spent two weeks here, it's a fantastic base to explore the various sights, Capri,Almafi,Pompeii,Vesuvius etc. Hotel was fantastic,every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to help. Rooms were nice and big, if you need a kettle just ask and they will provide you with one. The food was lovely and very plentiful a good selection. Shuttle bus service was very good always on time Swimming pool was lovely, nice and spacious a good siz to do some morning lengths. A lovely hotel to stay in and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were extremely disappointed. It is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but it is absolutely not anywhere near that standard. The air conditioner in our room did not work, and despite reporting it three days in a row, nothing was fixed. Instead, we were handed a fan and told “hopefully you can survive.” It was hotter in the room than outside. The fridge also didn’t work. The staff were rude and dismissive throughout our stay, and the manager was never available to speak to. On top of that, housekeeping entered our room even though we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. No effort was made to resolve any of these issues, and no compensation was offered, other than to change rooms 12 hours prior to checkout. Severely overpriced for what you get – this is not a 4-star hotel by any stretch. Would not recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely loved everything about Conca Park! The location is perfect just a short walk from the center of Sorrento, yet peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The hotel’s eco-friendly concept really stands out in every detail, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout my stay. The room was modern, spotless, and had a beautiful view. Breakfast was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The outdoor pool was perfect for relaxing after exploring the Amalfi Coast, and the bar served amazing cocktails at sunset. I also loved the unique tunnel entrance with music such a fun and different touch that makes the experience even more memorable. 💚 Highly recommend it for couples or solo travelers looking for comfort, sustainability, and great vibes!

Stayed in October 2025 with TUI. The hotel is well situated just a few metres from Corso Italia the main area for shops. Inside the hotel is well decorated, immaculately clean and very peaceful despite being on a main road. Entrance is via a tunnel…which is large and bright. Luggage is taken up by electric cart (and you can be too). I understand the swimming pool is pretty cold but we went to tour not swim. All the staff are polite and helpful. Good selection at breakfast, dinner has a good choice although invariably you end up with a Bitsa meal (bit of this, bit of that). Many companies offer sightseeing trips and if you can go with TUI I’d advise it. You may pay a little more but they are well organised with good guides and importantly for this area excellent drivers. Sorrento is lovely and Conca Park a great choice.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week from 22-29 Sept. The hotel is really stylish yet cozy and there are modern art pieces displayed making it a special place to stay. Service and organisation is second to none. I have never been to a hotel with a really busy restaurant yet there was never anyone waiting as there were contingency steps in place, all staff worked efficiently with the highest of standards. The food is excellent quality, and hot, with good quality wines. It is the first sustainable hotel in Italy since 2013, this company care about the environment and have made great changes to the hotel, improving it over the years. I only gave 3 stars for rooms as some are a little dark due to the Cliff, yet some people were happy with this. I would recommend being very specific what you like in a room, we were given a different room 2 days later and it was perfect. Location of this hotel couldn’t be better. Pool area is large with relaxing sofas and chairs again all beautifully clean and maintained. I have no hesitation booking here again.

Truly the most amazing hotel experience! My husband and I just got back from a week’s stay at Hotel Conca Park and everything was perfect. The staff are so incredibly professional and timely. I have nothing negative to say about our stay, and would say to anyone considering this hotel to take the negative comments with a grain of salt. Yes, the pool does only have sun for a certain number of hours and therefore the seats get taken fast. If you want a pool day in Sorrento, just consider this and plan your day accordingly! We had one of the most beautiful rooms with an incredible view. Yes - you can hear others in the neighboring rooms but this honestly wasn’t a problem at all of us. You don’t spend much time in your room anyways and most people are quiet so if you have an issue with neighbors, i’m positive the hotel would rectify the situation promptly. We also were directly across from the elevator which made us nervous at first; however, this was not an issue at all! Overall, Hotel Conca Park is a must stay! It is perfectly placed in Sorrento - a close walk to the Piazza but not too immersed in it where it becomes overwhelming. It is a perfect balance for those that want a relaxing stay with so many amenities and close to all the things you want to do in Sorrento! I will miss our mornings looking at Mt. Vesuvius in our beautiful room, the welcoming staff, morning breakfast, late night walks around the hotel, and some of the best food in Sorrento (Gelato and Margherita Pizza!) Oh! and one tip, after your night out, I highly recommend relaxing in the lounge and grabbing a drink and for the couples - experience the spa! It was my favorite day in Sorrento!

We had over 60 of our guests staying at the hotel, and every single one of them commented on how beautiful the place was, how comfortable the rooms were, and how fantastic the staff made them feel. I had a great week at this gorgeous, stylish, arty hotel. The decor and furniture in the public area is amazing and makes you feel like you’re staying at a very wealthy relatives home. The gardens and pool area are great. It’s amazing what is there in such a small space above Sorrento. All the staff were excellent, so friendly, helpful and professional. I found the food excellent. I don’t think I saw the same dish twice on the evening buffet, all fresh and tasted like good home cooked Italian food. The hotel is ideally located for easily walking down in Sorrento itself, down to the beach and the port for ferries to visit the islands.

We’ve just returned from our third stay at this beautiful, stylish, family run hotel and we’ve booked our fourth visit for next year! We love everything about this hotel. The service is exceptional, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food and wine is delicious. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we loved the view from our balcony of Mt Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. It’s just perfect to sit and enjoy lazy days by the pool, have a leisurely lunch in the restaurant and then explore Sorrento in the evening. I could happily stay here forever. Awesome place to stay, walking distance to town, huge veranda with water views and comfy seating to enjoy the sunset with a cocktail. The rooms are so nice and we have a king bed. The staff everywhere are so friendly and polite. The matre'd at breakfast is so awesome. And the breakfast spread is delicious. They have fresh squeezed tangerine juice, as well as orange, pineapple, etc. But the tangerine is so good!

We had the privilege of staying here last week. The hotel had just reopened after undergoing a stunning renovation. The newly refurbished bedrooms are exquisite, with every detail carefully considered and beautifully executed. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. We encountered a small issue with payment due to a delay from our travel agent, and they handled it with patience, kindness and complete professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were incredible, from the reception team, to the housekeeping staff , to the breakfast staff. We were always greeted with a smile and the service was amazing. A truly faultless experience from start to finish and we look forward to returning. Many thanks!

This hotel was amazing! The staff were friendly, and everyone made you feel comfortable and at home. The restaurant was so good also. My wife and I ate here on our last night in Sorrento and the food was to die for. We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and it was perfection! The hotel is in an amazing location which offers quiet serenity but close access to the main streets in Sorrento. Breakfast each morning on the beautiful terrace was a delight! The staff throughout the entire hotel were fantastic, and so kind. The beach area for hotel guests was never too crowded and offered the best location for a limoncello spritz. Hotel was also only a 10-15 min walk from the sorrento port making boat and ferry trips very easy. We cannot recommend this hotel more and are counting down the days until we can come back!

The Grand Hotel Europa Palace was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 5 nights on our honeymoon and were upgraded to a suite overlooking the water. The views, service, food, location and accommodations were all 10/10. We can't wait to go back again!

I knew that I booked an over average price hotel but, I expected the service to match the price. It didn't. Their breakfast is way below average. 2 out of the 3 days in which we had breakfast, they ran out of toast and croissant. When they cleaned the room, they FORGAT to put shampoo, body wash, coffee, tea and sugar. So I had to call the front desk. Their trowels were so worn-out, it came a piece of cloth.

Our family of seven had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Prestige in mid-April, just as it reopened for the season—and what a warm welcome we received! From the moment we arrived, the lovely owner, Angela, made us feel right at home with her kindness and hospitality. Set in the hills of Sorrento, Hotel Prestige offers breathtaking views of the coastline and landscape. Even before peak season, the serene grounds were beautifully maintained—we can only imagine how stunning the pool area must be in summer! Our rooms were spotless and comfortable, with balconies overlooking the ocean. One room was even upgraded to a spacious terrace with a private lounge and shared common area—an unexpected treat! Angela’s local restaurant recommendations led us to some amazing Italian meals. Mornings began with a delicious breakfast that went beyond a typical continental spread—pastries, fruit, and hot items like eggs and bacon were a hit. A standout feature was the free shuttle to and from central Sorrento, making exploring easy. Free parking was also a major plus for drivers. Angela and her family clearly take great pride in the hotel. The warmth and personal touch made our stay unforgettable. We left with full hearts and are already dreaming of our return. We loved our stay here. The service is the best of the best with extremely kind and caring staff. The front desk was very helpful in navigating the challenging geography of the Amalfi Coast. The Prestige shuttle drivers are also wonderful and take special care of you. The pool, breakfast, and dinner were all wonderful as well. High recommend.

Firstly, we’ve stayed at 5 star all inclusive resorts to Vegas suites and ritz Carlton’s but the service of staff here was unmatched. Special thank you to Thomas, Luigi, and the woman front desk receptionist on October 15th (sorry we never asked for your name) but they made our trip especially comforting. Staff from reception, shuttle, housekeeping, reservations, breakfast and all went above and beyond to make our stay as convenient as possible. Rooms are nice but be prepared in that they’re not a penthouse luxury, rather Tuscan family villa style with decent beddings, linens, etc but again don’t expect cashmere towels with marble flooring. The location is further from downtown but the shuttle bus running at SPECIFIC HOURS (call in advance for times!) make it very simple and quick 20 minute ride into town and back. Breakfast is everything you’d need, an above average continental with bar service including cafes, alcoholic drinks, and additional kitchen food items. View from hotel is beautiful but you are NOT on the coast. Rather a hilltop view overlooking the city of sorrento and surrounding mountains. Staff again is convenient from local support for buses, routes, ferry questions, excursions, taxis, restaurant reservations and all around truly want to help, which you can’t say about most stays we’ve had throughout Italy. This hotel is prestigious in how they treat their guests, and make a foreign country feel very welcoming and kind. Thank you to the staff!

Me and my family came to this hotel to be Welcomed by Angela. Right away we noticed how clean the common areas are. You’re on top of Sorrento so your view was amazing. Angela welcomed all 7 of us like we were family. They made everything easy they had buses that would take you down to the city and than have a time slot to pick us up and take us back up to the hotel. The rooms were clean and nice with great deck and views. The pool area was perfect too. The whole staff were nice the bar area I enjoyed to sit there and drink most of the time haha. Next time we will stay at the hotels villas. Angela suggested it’s better for the family. They have a parking lot if you decided to drive there. They also have nice little path towards the back of the hotel to get different views. Amazing place. I want to thank Angela for making us family and the rest of the staff were all so nice. They were very helpful Angela told us about local spots for food and we went to both that she suggests great meals. One was part of the Hotel prestige group Santa Croce al Picco(I’ll leave a review for others to see) had a farm That was down the road that she knew had great food and the owner was a great family (Fattoria Marecoccola).. salute we will be back

Hotel Prestige offers a unique stay in Sorrento. Free shuttles every hour to the town (rent a car if driving from Naples Airport to Hotel) but use shuttle for daily trips to the town. Nestled in the cliffs with tremendous views, and the best customer service you can ask for on a trip. While the rooms do not have the 5-star aesthetic, cleanliness and priceless balcony views are unmatched. Breakfast and Dinner with a view and a great swimming pool to relax as well. The staff went above and beyond to make it an easy trip and allowed us to relax and enjoy all that Sorrento and the neighboring cities (Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Ravello) had to offer. Special shoutout to Thomas, Gio and Luigi. Will be back!

The staff here is lovely and so is the view but honestly it’s just too far and the 40 minutes shuttle really is too inconvenient, windy, and nauseating each time to get to town.

First class service from the minute you arrive. Food excellent, pool fabulous. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bed really comfortable and hotel quiet at night so slept well. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to ensure a wonderful trip. Beautiful garden to sit in. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Sorrento after a last minute transfer, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our trip. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. We were able to experience three different rooms during our stay, and each one was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, a real testament to the high standards of cleanliness. The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of variety and everything fresh and delicious. The pool is large, very clean, and a wonderful place to relax. What truly makes this hotel special, though, is the team. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional. A special thanks goes to the manager, Mr. Massimo, for his warm hospitality and dedication to making our stay exceptional.

The staff were super lovely and helpful checking in and offered us a cot for the baby, which we really appreciated. The room had a couch that turned into bunk beds for our other kiddo, as well. We were able to leave our car after check out and take the shuttle into Sorrento for a day trip and then picked it up that evening. Parking is tight but doable. The pool was rather chilly, especially the kiddie pool, but it was still a good time, and even though our room didn't come with a view, we were still able to see the water/sunset. Oh, and the water pressure was amazing.

The hotel is located and set back into the mountains from the main road. Views from the hotel are scenic and look out to sea, beautiful sunsets. The hotel is managed well, the staff are all wonderful, willing to help and assist at every opportunity. The room we stayed in was with the sea view, balcony with loungers, great sun trap. The room was clean, tidy and offered quietness. Food and house wines offered were good too. The house wines were 13 Euros, great tasting, easy to drink too. Drinks menu offered a variety of drinks at reasonable prices. Pool is maintained clean, and I do mean clean. Loungers, each has a sun shade! Blue clean towels provided. Pool bar and snack bar. On pricing, you do pay a tourist tax, 4 Euros each day for the first 7 days, on the 8th and longer no further charges. Overall, a lovely place to stay, because of the location, the hotel provides a bus into Sorrento, leaves on the hour, and takes 12 minutes, so the pick up is the same point as dropped off. Easy then to trundle down into the picturesque town. Italian drivers cars and mopeds are plenty, be aware of your surroundings when crossing the roads, even on pedestrian crossings! Love the area being a great location to Positano, Almalfi and Rovello, a must trip, beautiful. We booked ours with the hotel, only 8 people max to a smaller vehicle, given vehicular access to the narrow streets. 115.00 Euro with a lunch and a variety of food and drinks, our guide, Mariano Morvillo The guide lives in Sorrento and out of season travels the World too. Very knowledgeable and educated to give you the best experience in a small group. Have a lovely holiday should you visit.

We were very excited for this holiday and from the moment we arrived the older man on the reception said to visit his friends restaurant for a simple meal cost us €450 in a no view, no prime location when we asked for pizza but the hotel check in had closed. Next the room constantly had ants in, all the time, even in the bed everyday. Then night staff was so extremely rude when I had a transfer issue when he could see I was rang at 5am and this was incorrect, he just said no English rudely and didn’t try to help us. The staff were below poor. Shame as one pool staff member was amazing and the lady at the reception, the rest are extremely rude and as if they are doing you a favour. I worked in hospitality for 10 years before my current occupation, and I expected them to be accommodating.

Excellent hotel in the outskirts of Sorrento. It was in a beautiful area. The hourly shuttle bus down into Sorrento was a godsend! We wouldn’t recommend walking down, the road was very busy ! We are so glad we opted for the seaview rooms ! Great to sit and watch the boats and great sunsets !

The hotel has not been updated in 60 years. That's it's charm! Rooms are larger than norm on the Garden Level, the bed was definitely not comfortable, but there was a large tub. The breakfast service was good. But the notion of veg and vegan offerings at breakfast could stand a refresh and expansion if the stated offer is to be taken seriously. Service was good. Cleaning staff managed rooms daily. Front desk was responsive and helpful with booking transportation around Sorrento. Front desk helped us book our private car to the airport.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Desiree and loved it. Room #1 has fabulous views from the good sized balcony. The room itself was cute, cosy, and comfortable. The bathroom could do with bit of an upgrade but it was adequate. The breakfast which was included in our rate was fabulous 👌 an excellent variety of sweet and savoury and the serving lady was very friendly and helpful. All the staff were very helpful and generous with their service. Hotel Desiree is a 10 minute walk from Sorrento centre but the views at day and night are fabulous. Highly recommend Hotel Desiree 😍❤️😍

This is my second time staying in this hotel, and I really enjoy the location of it besides the long walk up hill. I especially like how they have an elevator down to the private beach area. Breakfast is good, they have a variety of things. The only thing I can never get over is the rock solid beds, especially as someone with back pain. Other than that it’s a great hotel. They have an iron upon request which is also great. Edit: I found some green and black mold growing on the ceilings in the bedroom and mainly in the bathroom above the showers which is not great as it’s a health risk. I don’t remember seeing any the last year i was here but I never looked at the ceiling. I meant to tell a staff member but had to rush out in the morning for my train…

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The view from the room was great and it was a quiet location a short walk into the main downtown region of sorrento. The breakfast included was prepared by Annamaria and was amazing every morning and a great way to start the day. Loved our time in sorrento

I'm not one for emotional reviews, but I'll make an exception; My feeling of walking into our room here was one of nostalgia. It wasn't walking into a hotel, it was walking into a Nona's house from my childhood, welcoming, well worn, tidy and fastidiously clean. The view from the balcony was phenomenal, my girlfriend and I spent every evening reading and listening to the sound of the waterfall. The private beach wasn't cheap - €24 per person with the hotel discount, but it was peaceful and tidy. The included breakfast was better than I've received at more expensive hotels.

Fantastic hotel on outskirts of Sorrento. Rooms very clean and stuck in 1970's style but this added to the charm and appeal. Lovely roof terrace overlooking sea and surroundings with access to private beach with charming gardens and a lift. Adjacent restaurant in Hotel La Tonnarella was 5 stars (bloody pricey but delicious and worth a treat). So romantic a setting, you just enjoy it.

We had a fantastic stay! A great location. 10-15 min walk into town. We made the walk a couple of times each day. The view from our room was stunning! It was chilly for the beach, so we spent several hours enjoying the solarium. The staff was so friendly. Always ready to help, extra towels, directions, dining recommendations, ins and outs of the bus. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Desiree.

I stayed here in April while travelling through Italy on my motorcycle and it was the perfect place to use as a base for visiting the Amalfi coast. The walk into the main street of Sorrento was 10minutes, I ummed and ahhed at this but honestly, don't let it put you off booking here! If you're arriving here on a bike or in a car the free parking is a godsend. The room was big, had a lovely view and the bed was comfy. It was also nice and quiet! Breakfast was spot on and you could sit inside or outside. The pool is nice, perfect for cooling down and relaxing by for an hour or two before heading out on a night. Pool towels are €2 or €3 for your stay. The girls at the desk are fantastic, very very helpful and more than willing to chat and help out with the million questions I asked about the towns, restaurants and boat ride to Capri. Thank you's very much! I'm sure I'll visit the region again and will definitely look to stay back here. Ciao, Michael.

Really enjoyed time spent at La Badia Hotel. The views and the garden are amazing. Restaurant is nice, with no unpleasant surprises. Pool was big enough and we had a great time there.

The hotel is a perfect choice for vacationers who want a great guest experience without a lot of the fuss. The staff is incredible. They walk you through navigating Sorrento and offer to help with any bookings of excursions or taxis. The view from the terrace is excellent and allows for sights of the sea, the cliffs and in the distance you can see Mt. Vesuvius. While it is a bit tricky to get to, the hotel is in quick walking distance of the downtown area.

Very charming hotel, we loved the views and the atmosphere. There is lovely outdoors space for guests overlooking the sea and Sorrento. The rooms were well maintained and clean and all staff were super nice and helpful! Breakfast on the terrace was great, the only slight letdown for me was food at dinner service so we ended up walking into town for most of our meals. Location is perfect if you have a car as there is plenty of parking space, the walk into town also wasn't too bad if you're in good shape takes up to 15min.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly and even showed us to our rooms. The restaurant were so friendly and greeted us every morning for breakfast. The location was beautiful, with a view of Vesuvius and overlooked Sorrento, and the restaurant terrace had a view of the sunset, overlooking the sea. The rooms were lovely and spacious, the views shown are from room 35. The walk to the beginning of the centre was around 10-20 minutes. The views from this walk were amazing, overlooking both the sea and Sorrento. It wasn't a long walk, but it was quite uphill, so we walked down towards the centre, but got the bus back up. It cost 2 euros each and stopped outside of the hotel, and a taxi cost 25 euros. This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Location: It is definitely a challenging steep hike up the shortcut paths/roads from the center of town. My family is in fairly good shape, so we enjoyed the exercise, but I wouldn't recommend for anyone in less-than-ideal health. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down / 15 min. up. There is one stretch of 1/4 mile that's on a narrow sidewalk of very busy, curvy main road that was a bit anxiety-inducing. Rooms: The view was excellent! (pics attached) but the beds weren't that comfortable. Especially the single bed - which turned out to be a kind of Murphy bed - folding out of a half wall. My adult daughter complained that it was hard as a rock. The bathroom was large and clean, but very dated. It had one of those 1/2 glass panels for the tub/shower that tends to let water get all over the floor. Grounds: beautiful! There's a pool area, small olive grove/garden, and the terrace overlooking the sea was the best place to have breakfast and begin our days here. Service: Breakfast had a nice selection of fruit, pastries, juice, and Italian meats. A barista brought us wonderful cappuccinos each morning. And it was just lovely to have breakfast on the covered terrace.
