What an unforgettable place to visit in Sorrento, Italy. This is a perfect example of what a cloister looks like in Sorrento. A beautiful covered walkway and a gorgeous church with one nave and six chapels. There are many weddings here and the location is amazing.

Amazing view of the sea and beaches! We really loved it. You can take a beautiful photo and then walk down to the sea and the beaches. On the way down, you get to enjoy the views of the charming houses in the hills and all the stunning scenery around you. I’ve also added a photo of the sunbed and umbrella prices — not cheap, but pretty much the same as everywhere along the Sorrento coast.

We had an amazing dining experience at L'Antica Trattoria! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and while it’s a bit more expensive, it’s absolutely worth every euro. The food was outstanding: fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Our waiter, Luigi, made the evening unforgettable. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His recommendations were spot-on, especially the calamari, it was the best we’ve ever had. From start to finish, the little touches made the meal special: complimentary bites to kick things off, incredible olive oil, a lemon pasta that blew me away, my wife had a special concoction of clams, mussels, and tomatoes, and a perfect pastry at the end that truly deserves a chef’s kiss. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Sorrento: delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond.

A local who lives in the U.S. now recommend this spot to us. It took a bus and a 15 minute walk, but it was our second best day in Sorrento. It was busy, but not packed. A few tourists but a lot of locals. We felt like locals. We bought sandwiches in town, wine, and made a day of it. Highly recommend! Be respectful and take your trash out.

I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Bagni Sant’Anna during a recent trip to Sorrento, and the experience was nothing short of magical. Set directly on the water’s edge, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the sea – and as the sun began to set, we found ourselves dining against the most spectacular golden backdrop. It was one of those moments where the setting alone already felt special. The food was equally impressive. We began with a beautifully grilled fish – light, clean in flavour, and not in the least bit dry. The squid was another highlight: perfectly tender and full of smoky, chargrilled character. The seafood pasta was truly memorable, with wonderfully chewy noodles and a rich, savoury sauce that brought everything together. For dessert, we enjoyed a selection of canelé, tiramisu, and lemon cake – all delicious in their own right and a perfect way to end the meal. Each sweet offered a different texture and flavour, yet all were executed with finesse. What truly made the evening unforgettable, however, was the arrival of an elderly gentleman with a guitar just as the sun touched the horizon. He began to play O Sole Mio and other classics, and suddenly the entire atmosphere shifted – as if we had been transported into a romantic film. It was spontaneous, heartfelt, and incredibly moving. The only regret I have is not being able to leave a tip for the musician, as I didn’t have any cash on me – something I truly felt sorry for. In every way, this was a flawless dining experience – from the food to the view to the atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Ristorante Bagni Sant’Anna to anyone visiting Sorrento. It’s the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after the sun has set.

We visited here just after sunset and this place is beautiful when lit up. Our waiter was so engaging and recommended us some dishes, my wife had the honey cooked chicken and I had the vegetable tempura. Both were delicious. We stayed for desserts before moving to the bar area for cocktails which were also tasty in a peaceful sea side setting. We’d recommended if you’re staying on this side of Sorrento!

They have a carefully curated selection of local and regional wines, ensuring you'll find the perfect bottle to complement your Italian meals or simply enjoy on its own. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine. They'll happily guide you towards a delicious choice based on your preferences, just like they did for us! The warm and welcoming atmosphere at Corner Shop Sorrento is another big plus. The staff are friendly and attentive, taking the time to chat and answer questions you might have. Unlike some touristy shops, they're genuinely helpful, making you feel right at home. I highly recommend checking it out on your trip to Sorrento!

Bagni Delfino is an absolute gem right in front of Spiaggia di Sorrento. If you truly love seafood, this is your spot. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor — you can taste the quality in every bite. Service is fast without feeling rushed, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. Order a bottle of wine, let the pace slow down, and take in the stunning view of Mount Vesuvius. If you stay until nightfall, you’ll be rewarded with the sparkling lights of Naples shimmering across the water — an unforgettable sight that makes the whole experience even more magical.

Close to the bus stop on the way to Sorrento town center, right across from the Vallone dei Mulini. Well lighted, clean and even floors. Best of all it has a fully automated self cleaning toilet @.50 on the ground floor

Great drinks with an amazing view, maybe the best around. Staff were attentive and fast to serve us. Drinks €15 minimum, cocktails, wines etc. Can’t argue the price with that view and the cocktails were great. Snacks included; crisps, nuts and biscuits. We were also severed a salmon and cheese finisher for free.

This restaurant served the best fried mixed fish I've ever had (and I've had lots). The variety of the fish was excellent, I counted at least 7 x types, including prawns, octopus and snapper. The portion almost beat me... you'll not leave the table hungry! The staff are friendly and helpful, even blagging me a 1€ ride back up the hill on the 3 x wheeled chug chug - it is steep and long. The bus ride from Sorrento to the beach costs 1.80€ and takes about 20 minutes. This is a FREE beach, whereas the 'platforms' closer to Sorrento can cost up to 50€ to use.

Simply wonderful. We were turned away from Coku hoping for a birthday meal for my wife (hadn't realised needed to book) and instead walked down the steps/tunnel to La Marinella and were one of just 5 tables served for the evening with delicious seafood, beautifully presented, tasty menu 'amuse-bouche' between courses, and with delightful service. And to top it all am exquisite sunset. Really recommend this spot. Definitely worth the walk down and back up!

My husband and I just returned home from a great trip to Sorrento and Rome. Giuseppe was our amazing driver/tour guide while we were in Sorrento. He did our pick up and drop off from the Naples train station and also took us on a magical tour of the Amalfi Coast. Giuseppe was knowledgeable, prompt and happily accommodated my picture requests………..and extra restroom breaks (he knew all the best stops). We are truly so thankful and would recommend him to anyone.

Cristine and Le Muse are absolute gems. She’s super nice and accommodating, delivers breakfast every morning on your schedule. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk from the bus/train terminal and only about 5 minutes from a main town center. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The rooms are extremely well kept and spacious for 2. Would stay here every time we visit Sorrento if we could.

We simply can’t recommend this experience enough! We opted for the vineyard experience and it did not disappoint. We had a large group, including some small children, and the hosts/owner treated us just like family. It was such a lovely time exploring the beautiful grounds, vineyards and Roman cisterns from 100 AD. The picnic area for the tasting was absolutely lovely and fully shaded. The wines were fabulous!!! Everyone in our group bought multiple bottles. The food prepared for the pairings was also exquisite. This is a must do experience when in Sorrento!!! Thank you for such a memorable day!
