Another incredible experience at this restaurant! This time we attended as a party of 6 and we were extremely well looked after and the food was outstanding amidst the beautiful surroundings.
Our waiter to was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were unsure which wine to order and he gave us the perfect recommendation. . He also suggested a mix of antipasti from the garden and we were all blown away by the delicious, fresh selection. We had some green beans in tomato sauce, stuffed zucchini flowers, fresh mozzarella and fresh tomato salad. We then shared a mix of the famous cannelloni before our main course. I ordered the lamb chops which were juicy and full of flavour.
Every member of our party were extremely impressed and grateful for a fantastic day. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Go and have a fantastic experience. Highly recommend 👌🏼

A unique dining experience with amazing food. To be seated, we went inside and up a set of stairs into the main part of the restaurant where you're greeted. After less than five minutes, we were seated in the dining area which is all under beautiful lemon trees, and everyone is surrounded by foliage and vibrant green leaves. The restaurant easily seats a couple hundred people, and as such is very busy. Staff are constantly coming through with food.
The food came fast, and everything tasted delicious. All three of our main courses, however, were cold when they arrived which was a shame.
You can buy wine by the half bottle. There is no affordable "house wine" option for €10 (as of September 2025). Portion sizes were moderate.
There is a cover fee of 2,5 euros and you're expected to spend minimum €30 per person. There is an English version of the menu.
the cutest lemon farm could not recommend enough- we shared a bottle of red wine, their famous cannoli pasta and then I got rigatoni and braccoli. It was incredible and so was the gnocchi. The table was gorgeous. It was under lemon trees with real lemons at the restaurant was huge and they fit 500 tables. We wanted to have our wedding there. This restaurant was four generation family owns since 1800 and first restaurant ever in sorrento
One of the most beautiful restaurants and great service. Definitely book in advance and sit in the garden. After your meal, walk through the beautiful gardens, it’s very magical.
Food is pretty good and the drinks are delicious. It is apparently where cannelloni was invited so we had to try it and it was ok.
I would definitely go again mainly for the atmosphere, it feels very magical. But food could definitely improve. Also there’s lots of comments about the prices being overpriced. I thought it’s fairly in range with other restaurants and considering the atmosphere and space, it’s definitely worth it.
The food at O’Parrucchiano La Favorita in Sorrento was outstanding, and the wine complemented it perfectly. The highlight of our meal was, without a doubt, their famous cannelloni — a specialty of the house that is simply a must-try.
Beyond the food, the setting is absolutely breathtaking. The restaurant has a stunning ceiling covered with natural lemon branches, creating a magical atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Dining beneath the lemon trees felt both unique and unforgettable.
What truly elevated our experience, however, was our waiter. His kindness, patience, and thoughtful recommendations made us feel welcome and cared for throughout the evening.
This place is not only about dining — it’s about living a beautiful memory in Sorrento. Highly recommended!

This is a great restaurant experience in Sorrento with an amazing indoor/outdoor garden. The ambience is truly unlike any other place we’ve been, and when you’re done eating, you can walk all around the huge garden. My husband loved the veal marsala, and the rest of the food was above average. Definitely recommend.
Was on holiday here recently and visited with new friends one evening. What an amazing venue. We were seated straight away, the food was incredible with the staff very attentive. After dinner we strolled around the garden areas taking photos and relaxing in this wonderful place.
The restaurant’s setting was absolutely stunning and charming. The atmosphere, however, was a bit off since we came right at opening time, when there was no one else inside. The food was rather average, I’d say, but the service was top-notch.

Highly recommend checking out Il Buco! We had such a fun evening, fabulous food and drinks! My husband did the tasting menu and it was incredible. The rest of us ordered from the menu and truly enjoyed each thing. The highlight was the raw fish platter - amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful and made our experience even better.

Unfortunately, Il Buco does not live up to its Michelin star. The food seems passionless. We opted for the “I trust you” menu because we wanted to see what creative dishes the chef would come up with. Instead, we just got random dishes from the menu. Nothing about the choices was inventive and we honestly would have saved money if we ordered those dishes directly.
The initial appetizers were very bland — and so while we were initially interested in the wine pairing, we switched to just ordering a bottle since we didn’t feel like the pairing would live up to our standards. It also felt unorganized - we had about 3-4 different servers all at once.
Above all, it was a fine meal. But it doesn’t deserve the amount of money we paid. I wouldn’t go back.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening here to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary whilst in Sorrento.
We were attended to faultlessly. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine was superb (there is a very extensive list and the staff are happy to talk and make suggestions).

This was one of my favorite dining experiences to date! Off the bat, the atmosphere was incredible. They seated me right away without a reservation, in a beautifully lit entry garden to the restaurant. It was just private enough where I could still enjoy some people watching. The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely to die for. Would recommend splurging and getting the dessert. Loved the Wild Strawberry Tart, I thought I had died and went to heaven. Don't waste any more time and enjoy this lovely dining experience!

A fabulous location, tucked away down a cute cobbled street you enter into the restaurant and are seated in a spacious cellar that feels light, bright and airy. We opted for a tasting menu and every course was divine. The attention to detail is impeccable, with some items looking like art, but not loosing any flavour for it! Service was faultless, staff are super helpful and friendly. We went for a special birthday and our dessert course was served with a candle and a serenade of happy birthday! An absolute MUST visit if you find yourself in Sorrento!
Best restaurant in Sorrento! Service is impeccable and they literally cater to you! The chef, the manager and the servers are all extremely professional. The food is exquisite and each dish has a special touch! Ambiance is also lovely with a beautiful desert lab and wine cellar! We loved it so much that we came twice in one week!
Great food, amazing service. Definitely recommended to everyone. I ordered the I Trust You menu, and the food was definitely beyond expectations. Had the best tempura oyster and beef taco. Remember to book in advance for dinner, the restaurant is super popular and the indoor space was already fully booked by the time I arrived.

Trattoria Da Emilia is a charming, family-run restaurant nestled in the heart of Sorrento's historic center. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, adorned with traditional Italian decor, creates a sense of warmth and comfort for diners. What sets this trattoria apart is its picturesque setting by the port, offering guests the opportunity to dine at tables overlooking the beach and Mediterranean waves.
Had a fantastic lunch here before our kayak tour, we got here right before the lunch crowd came in and were seated right away. Servers were attentive and the food was delicious! We were in Italy for several weeks and this was probably one of our top meals of the entire trip!

Great spot right on the water with fast service and a very friendly staff. Prices were reasonable and comparable to other restaurants in the area. The seating offers beautiful views, terrace tables are especially nice, though those come with a longer wait.
We ordered the sea bass, vegetable plate, and mussels. The portions were generous, and the mussels in particular were outstanding. You get far more for the price here than you’d ever see in the U.S. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with a perfect setting.

Menu looks heavily seafood based, which is absolutely fine and even expected to be honest.
The menu did mention (in fine print at the bottom of some pages) that some seafood might be frozen — just not on every page. Naturally, when it wasn’t mentioned on the first course page, I assumed the seafood would be fresh. So I ordered the seafood risotto, and my partner went for the fresh seafood pasta.
Oh wow, €30 for a risotto with frozen, chewy, flavorless ingredients? What a steal! Only King Prawn and mussels seem to be fresh.
And the seafood pasta? Sure, the pasta was fine — shame the seafood tasted like it took a detour through the freezer aisle.
Tried this place once and would not come back.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. For the starter, I ordered the tuna tartare, which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My main course was the seafood risotto — the flavors were amazing, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. To finish, the dessert was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend this place for a delicious and memorable dinner.
Food was ok but a bit pricey for the quality that we recieved. The octopus was really good as well as the grilled seabass! However the other grilled seafood items were a little overcooked and the seafood pasta was a little dissapointing, flavor-wise. We had to add salt and pepper it. The Sorrento lemon delight cake was just ok. Not worth the €7 in my opinion. The staff was friendly.
The food is just okay, nothing memorable but the oceanfront setting is real draw. You’re mostly paying for the view, not for the meal. Great for sunset dinner, but don’t expect to be wowed by the cuisine.
Great spot on the water! (You will get a little splashed in windy weather) We got the mussels in tomato sauce, gnocchi with clams, and fried seafood basket. Everything was delicious and my husband said this was some of the best fried fish he's ever had!

I’ve been here for several weeks and this has by far been my favourite restaurant. I’m a very picky eater so when I dined here, I came back another 5x because it was exactly to my liking! They are so accomodating to ensure the food is cooked exactly to how you like it as well. The oysters are incredible ( placed on the ice to keep it extra fresh) - served with caviar and the pasta is cooked to perfection. The service is so welcoming and knows how to make your experience here unforgettable. The restaurant has a wonderful sunset view as well. Id highly recommend. 10/10
Fantastic experience here for our honeymoon/anniversary. We were seated immediately with a beautiful view for our reservation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Delicious, fresh seafood. They were also fun and friendly, and after we enjoyed our tiramisu, they gifted us with some religious charms to put on a necklace.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We were seated for our reservation immediately with a beautiful view of the water and were greeted with a complimentary bruschetta from the staff — a delicious surprise. Every member of the team was friendly, multilingual, and incredibly attentive. They never let our wine glasses get even slightly low, constantly refilling them without us ever needing to ask.
The carbonara was fantastic, and the ravioli alla caprese was truly the best ravioli I’ve ever had. Though we skipped dessert since it was lunchtime, the staff surprised us again with complimentary limoncello shots after learning we were celebrating our honeymoon.

Good selection of food and drinks although I was looking to purchase a bottle of Azul or even a shot and was told they're for their own collection. Food was okay, service was great, kept our drinks topped up and had a huge selection of Italian wines. And the views of the evening was breathtaking, i could imagine the day to be just as good.
We came here all the way from the Sorrento city center because of the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The interior is nice and the views on the sea are magnificent. The staff however is, whilst friendly in direct contact, not attentive and we had the feeling of being ignored a couple of times during the evening. The food menu is not very variable nor original. The food itself was very basic and bland, nothing that justifies it’s price of € 30-40 per plate. I’d recommend going to another restaurant in the surroundings where you can get this food (or even better) for a reasonable price.
Bagni Delfino is just perfect, the view, the food and hospitality are all incredible. Every time we come to Sorrento, we make sure to come as many times as we can. The seafood is delicious and perfectly paired with the magnificent view. The owners are always so hospitable and welcoming, they make you feel at home in the most beautiful setting.
Service was the best we experienced in Amalfi coast.
Seafood pastas we had were rich and delicious. Ricotta filled ravioli was fresh and had lovely taste.
Prices are overall higher than in some other places in already expensive Sorrento.

My husband and I loved this restaurant. The service was exceptional. You are welcomed with a complimentary sparkling wine while you settled in and enjoy the menu. No dirty dish remained on our table and the staff was always keenly watchful and noticed anytime we needed anything. This food was among the best we had in Sorrento. Their unique Caprese salad and the zucchini pasta were amazing and I highly recommend.

We stumbled upon this place one night during our honeymoon in Sorrento and it was the best choice we made. We did the tasting menu and every single thing we were served was incredible. It is such a unique restaurant and there is so much to look at inside, making for great table talk. The service was amazing and we have already recommended this place to others who are travelling to Sorrento. 10/10!
A "museum" restaurant dedicated to Enrico Caruso. The walls are filled to the brim with memorabilia of the great tenor.
Their food selections was great and tasty, if you've overate from trying everything during the day they also apparently have a great selection of tasting menus.
I call it more a restaurant with a museum gimmick than a museum with a restaurant, it's not a bad thing however. My family visit was a bit more focused on the food so all I could learn about Enrico Caruso were some small tidbits and quotes written in the menu.
Beaides they are playing old recordings of the gret tenor and my god all of them are enjoyable to accompany you during a good meal

What a treat! From the moment we walked in the door the service was impecable. Our waiter was so friendly and welcoming and explained the menu so well. The food was so delicious and the wine selection was great! Each course was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was so relaxed and in addition to making our party feel so welcomed, seeing the restaurant team celebrate the Nona’s birthday next to us and making her feel so special, added to the fun the entire dining room was having. They are the definition of true hospitality. Thank you for such a great evening!
This was by far the best meal we had in Sorrento. Nestled just steps from Tasso Square, Caruso Museo is a true hidden gem- it’s tucked away from the tourist bustle yet right in the heart of town. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The service was impeccable, attentive without ever being intrusive, and every detail was carefully thought through.
Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and even more delicious than we could have imagined. The flavors were refined, perfectly balanced, and worthy of its Michelin recognition. The ambiance added to the charm, elegant, intimate, and full of character.
If you are looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Sorrento, skip the tourist traps and treat yourself to Caruso Museo. It’s an absolute must-visit and a meal we’ll be talking about for years to come.

We've been coming to Sorrento for years and have never dined here - the restaurant's name somehow gave us the impression of a touristic place. We couldn't have been more wrong!
The ambiance is elegant, the service impeccable, the food amazing and the wine list impressive.

A wonderful place for a long lingering dinner!
I chose this place based upon other reviews here and I was not disappointed one iota! It’s centrally located and actually rather large inside, yet divided into a few intimate dining areas. We shared ours with a few solo diners, but rest assured we outlasted them!
We chose the meat tasting menu and it was delicious from start to finish! The photos tell a much better story that I can type…
The wine was also excellent. We chose the first bottle based upon the host’s recommendation and we chose a known entity for the second - both were excellent! But they were just two of many hundreds of bottles on their extensive list.

We had an amazing dining experience at L'Antica Trattoria! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and while it’s a bit more expensive, it’s absolutely worth every euro. The food was outstanding: fresh, authentic, and full of flavor.
Our waiter, Luigi, made the evening unforgettable. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His recommendations were spot-on, especially the calamari, it was the best we’ve ever had.
From start to finish, the little touches made the meal special: complimentary bites to kick things off, incredible olive oil, a lemon pasta that blew me away, my wife had a special concoction of clams, mussels, and tomatoes, and a perfect pastry at the end that truly deserves a chef’s kiss.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in Sorrento: delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond.

First of all you need to make reservations in advance.
We were welcomed with a glass of prosseco and some amuse buche.
You should also try their bread with olive oil and salt.
We ordered calamari and red prawns for appetizers. They were both good but red prawns were impressive.
For main we had cacio e pepe & see bass. Excelent.
And for desert we had chef fantasy pastiera&tiramisu. But we also get a profiterol for free.
The ambiance was great. The wine was spectacular. Our host Antonino made us feel very good and welcomed and did not rush us.
Make sure not to eat when you come here because you will be full.
Must place to eat! My BF and I, both cooks, had an amazing lunch and dinner in L’Antica Trattoria this summer and we can assure you is the best place to eat in Sorrento. All food was amazing and the service truly makes you feel like a family. We had a creamy lemon pasta with prawns, a beautiful pasta a la nerano, a very well cook lobster with coconut cream, for dessert: Tiramisu and Ricotta and Pear, tasty, unforgettable dinner, thank you nonno Aldo and team!

One of the best places we came across here in Sorrento. I had the first lemon sauce spaghetti, and I love it. The waitress was very lovely, gentle and educated. We sat in the middle of the afternoon and he gave his best.

The atmosphere and the staff were amazingly friendly and fancy. They were very helpful and descriptive. We ordered shrimp & lemon pasta and pacio e pepe Pasta with beef. The shrimp and beef and lemon and ingredients were of high quality and soo fresh. But we didn't fancy the taste very much. The ingredients on their own are amazing however, the overall taste wasn't special or unique.

Excellent pizza you must visit here. Fabulous and best pizza I've had in Sorrento. Reasonably priced, nice environment, quick service, locals use this for deliveries too which speaks volumes about this pizzeria.
I highly recommend you try it here. It's a little outside the centre square of Sorrento but well worth a visit.
Highly recommend the quattro, 4 different variations of pizza and well worth it.
If not, make sure you get one with a tomato base as it tastes superb (i particularly liked the one with a little garlic in!)

Fantastic Pizzeria in the Heart of Sorrento
We had a wonderful experience at Pizzeria da Franco! The food was absolutely delicious – proper wood-fired pizzas and a lovely dessert to end the meal. The atmosphere was buzzing, full of locals and visitors alike, which gave it a great energy.
Service was friendly and fun. Even though it was very busy and things took a bit longer, it was completely understandable and worth the wait. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian pizza in a relaxed, vibrant setting. We’ll definitely be back!
Yummy pizza! I had the margarita pizza. Relaxed atmosphere and kind service. Wow this place is popular and I went on an off time because the wait can be insane but still waited, great prices snd delicious food so obviously worth it. Seating outside is available. Loud inside.
I recently dined at Franco and it was fantastic! The pizza was perfectly crispy with fresh, flavorful toppings and rich, tangy sauce—truly authentic. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. A must-visit for pizza lovers.
Okay... let's define priorities. For me the food and service matter. Francos gave me an incredible thin crust pizza that was crisp and loaded with quality toppings and flavor. It was impressive. Service was mediocre at best and it's a volume based business so I get it. The paper plates and plastic cups and cutlery really just threw me. It didn't make my pizza taste any less amazing but it was just weird and diminished the experience. I'm sure it saves them money vs a dishwasher, etc. BUT... maybe they had to do it because of the giant pizza ovens they have which probably result in their better pizza. I'm guessing those giant ovens hold the heat better and result in that quality pizza. Would I go back there again for an exceptional pizza at a great price... ABSOLUTELY. Will I still whine about the paper plate and plastic cutlery... probably. PS... as per the picture they have charging stations at all the wall booths and free Wifi... which is an added bonus to the pizza.
With a 4.2-star rating and so many glowing reviews calling this place “fantastic,” “excellent,” and “unmissable,” I was expecting a solid Neapolitan-style pizza. What we got was not Neapolitan pizza — not even close.
The crust, which should be the star of a true Neapolitan pie — puffy, airy, chewy with a bit of char — was flat and uninspired. It lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect from a properly fermented dough cooked in a high-heat oven. The toppings didn’t help either — underwhelming and far from the fresh, balanced simplicity that defines this style.
Maybe we caught them on an off night, or maybe our expectations were too grounded in what you'd get just a short drive away in downtown Naples. Either way, this was a huge letdown. Based on this first (and likely only) experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
Ate here twice on our week in sorrento , pizza was fabulous then for a panini the next visit and it was amazing. We sat outside it’s a bit noisy by the road but inside looks class and it’s so busy . I definitely recommend so well priced .
Recommended by our taxi driver with three grown children also living in Sorrento. Turned out to be an excellent choice. The mixed appetizer dish was enough for four while waiting for our pizzas. Every ingredient was fresh and tasty, which made our pizzas excellent. The dough was thin and flavorful. The price was also reasonable.

We got extremely lucky and happened to book a hotel opposite this local favourite. Truly blown away. On both occasions, we had a combination of excellent service from a gentleman and (we think) the one female serving tables. There may be more of course but she was pretty phenomenal at her job (and we work in hospitality). The restaurant is fun, has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is just something else! Every dish we had was an explosion of flavour; clean plates every time. We can’t recommend a visit to this restaurant enough. In our experience, watching from our pool, the queues were fairly steady. Lunchtime seemed to be calmer and easier to get a table (we went for lunch both times) but the team work hard to accommodate and the queue does go down fairly quickly (although, as a customer, you don’t feel rushed). We have 3 days left of our holiday and will be back for one last visit! Excellent.

We visited this restaurant 4 times during our stay in Sorrento, and every single visit was perfect! The food is absolutely the best we’ve had, and the service is just as incredible. They always went out of their way to accommodate us, and we felt so welcomed every time.
It’s walk-in only with no bookings, but it was definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere felt like sitting in Nonna’s house, enjoying hearty Italian food at a very reasonable price – and it’s absolutely NOT a tourist trap.
The ravioli was our favourite stand out dish, wow!

We just had the best meal of our Italian trip here. Absolutely incredible. The food, service and quality is exceptional. Well worth lining up for. We dined here twice and will likely again before leaving Sorrento, it’s that good. The ravioli con pomadorini was delicious ans was the polpetti and pasta con melanzane. The rib eye beef steak even better than we had in Tuscany! The line was really long tonight and we paid for it with a terrible meal elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and line up - there’s a reason the line is so long.
The owner and all staff are all super friendly and maintain exceptional customer service to all customers, even with the masses that come through. We look forward to dining there again asap!
We’ve traveled to many cities in Italy on vacation and out of all the places, this place was the BEST! The food was excellent: zucchini flowers were 10/10, gnocchi was amazing, and the penne alla cantinaccia was incredible!! The chocolate soufflé was SO GOOD that we ordered a second one!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Definitely worth waiting in line for a seat here! We will make a point to come back here multiple times next time we’re in town!
This is the best restaurant in Sorrento. Stand in the line, just wait it out (they'll give you cheese or some other goodies if the line is long). The food is awesome, no coperto or cover charge (a rarity in Sorrento!) - and the atmosphere is awesome. Wine and food portions are extremely generous.
This is how a restaurant should be - it feels like a family run place where the workers are having fun, great decoration. Servers were joking with the kids in our group and they had such a fun time. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food, and the service received.
Oh, and the Gorgonzola Ravioli is one of the best pasta we had on our entire trip to Italy!

His ravioli is 10/10. I think the best homemade one i tried so far.
My dish was hugh and I couldn’t finish it but test so good.
If you realize everywhere you go around here there is a fees per person when you dine in but not at this place they didn’t charge you for that.
The big bottle of sparkling only 3euro.
We also ordered a side of 3 meatballss which are delicious and only 6euro for that. I ordered it somewhere else and they charged you for 16euro for 3 meatball.

First off, this place is listed in Rick Steves' Italy guide as a must-try spot 😳. Just five minutes after we sat down, a food tour group joined us, making it clear that this restaurant is famous for its incredible Italian cuisine. And boy, were they right—absolutely wowed! Both of our dishes were fantastic. My seafood pasta was overflowing with fresh seafood—more than pasta! Don't miss out on their Lemoncello Spritz and the exceptional Taurasi wines. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. No reservations needed, so go ahead and enjoy a true Italian feast!
As a mortgage lender from the US, La Cantinaccia del Popolo quickly became my favorite spot in Sorrento — we went three times during our week-long stay. The place is always packed (for good reason), and they even bring out cheese samples to people waiting in line, which was such a fun touch. Every dish we tried was amazing — the calamari was the best I’ve had, and the ravioli with pancetta was my personal favorite. Great staff, incredible energy, fantastic house wine, and beautiful presentations. A true gem and a must-visit when in Sorrento.

Dinner at Ristorante Zi Ntonio was not only delicious but full of laughter. Portions were generous, prices reasonable, and the staff were super friendly—always joking with us and making the evening memorable. The T-bone steak was perfectly tender and juicy, while the angel hair pasta with shrimp served in a basket was light, flavorful, and truly special.
The highlight came with dessert: I asked if the tiramisu was big enough for three, and the waiter cheekily compared it to the size of an Italian sausage. He first served a small piece to tease us, then surprised us with the real full-size portion—such a playful and warm touch. We left full, happy, and with big smiles. Stop here for lunch earlier in the week as they have a good range of Gluten Free dishes. I had the biggest bowl of Mussels I have ever had - three plate full of empty shells. My wife had the mushroom fettuccine (not GF) and the pasta is made on site. The waiting staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and had a laugh with us.
The restaurant itself is set on 2 floors and has a wood interior and some very quirky touches. It really is a brilliant and unique setting
We had a great lunch at Z’Netonio while staying in the Sorrento area. The service was very good and we even got to see the chef making fresh pasta in the kitchen, which was a nice touch. We ordered several pasta dishes with seafood — all were fresh and flavorful.
For starters, we had the eggplant parmesan and the zucchini flowers stuffed with arugula. Both were excellent and beautifully prepared.
One thing that stood out was being asked at the end if we wanted to leave a tip. That’s not typical in Italy, especially with the cover charge already included, but I understand it’s a very touristy area. Still, it caught me a bit off guard.
Overall, the food and service were very good, and we had a pleasant experience. Worth a visit if you’re in Sorrento.
We made a reservation for two people and we had to. The restaurant was very packed. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We were quite hungry and had a Margheriata pizza as an appetizer. The pizza was again not a classic Napoletan pizza but it was very tasty. The base was not too thick and not too thin, the crust was very crispy but not fluffy. For our main course, we had risotto with mussels and gnocchi with pumpkin sauce. The risotto was excellent, the only missing ingredient was a little salt. The gnocchi were superb. We shared a tomato salad and grilled vegetables as a side dish. The price is a little higher, but it's worth it.
The gnocchi is a must. This place had amazing pasta- angel hair pasta with zucchini flowers was delicious. The octopus appetizer and grilled squid were fresh and perfectly cooked. The waiter was excellent and was super attentive.
After having a disappointing seafood pasta in Rome, we decided to give fish another try in Sorrento. Unfortunately, our second attempt was also a letdown. The fish was undercooked and lacked flavor, and the accompanying salad was equally uninspired. The pizza was decent, but nothing to write home about.
It's possible that our palates aren't accustomed to the simple, authentic Italian style of cooking. However, a significant part of the problem was the lack of assistance from the staff. We felt rushed and, with no mobile signal to look up reviews or recommendations, we were left to guess, which resulted in a subpar meal.
We were also surprised by the concept of being charged a €3 cover charge per person every time we dined out. It felt more like a penalty than a service fee. To make matters worse, we were charged for tap water—a strange contradiction, especially when taps are left running freely in Rome. This felt like extremely poor customer service.
At the end of the meal, we chose not to leave a tip due to our poor experience. The passive-aggressive response we received from the staff felt completely unwarranted. The whole point of a tip is that it's optional, based on the quality of service.

We went light with the order this evening - a spaghetti cacio e pepe, a ravioli neri (ravioli made with squid ink, stuffed with seafood and cheese), and a fried cod croquette.

We recently dined here while on an excursion from the cruise port. We only had a limited time while in Sorrento. We sat down without a wait and they served us promptly. I highly recommend getting pizza since this is home of the pizza. You will not be disappointed. Also, limoncello with complementary after your meal. Make sure to eat fast so you have time to do some shopping. Next time we are in Sorrento, we are coming back.
This is a nice place to eat. The food was tasty but over priced. The hostess was very pleasant but the main manager was not very friendly and a bit grumpy. The rest of the servers were great. The restaurant was beautiful inside and very clean. If you don't mind paying for high prices it's worth visiting.
As they say—always ask the locals where to eat! We would’ve never discovered this amazing spot just by walking around, but thankfully, our hotel staff recommended it and made a reservation for us.

One of the best restaurants we tried during our recent visit to Sorrento. We ordered a pizza & calzone and both were wonderful and plentiful enough to share. Be aware that this is a white tablecloth restaurant though so plan on being a bit dressed up. As an added bonus, the restaurant treats each guest to a shot of limoncello at the end of the meal.
I had the stuffed pizza and caramel chocolate cake. The pizza wasn't really cooked all the way but I was so hungry that I kept quiet. I've learned that if you tell an Italian restaurant that their food wasn't prepared properly that they take great offense to it. I've been in the food industry and I've worked in places that do things to food on the return back to the customer so thats always been a paranoia of mine that someone will do something to my food if I send it back. We had a change of waiters mid meals not by choice but we were okay with it since our original waiter wasn't in a good mood and rushed us through our ordering. Prior to coming here we saw a few pictures on the border of pg rating so I wasn't surprised to see the picture on my place once my pizza was finished. I think if you don't speak their language it makes your experience slightly worse and seems like they didn't care for you the same way.
Ordered gluten free pizza and it was great. Really enjoyed it. My partner order calzone and found that the ingredients were not well spread out inside and it was low on tomato sauce

Overall we had a good experience here, out VRBO host recommended this place as “the best” in the area. I had a pizza and it was a little watery/floppy for my liking but it was still delicious. My wife had GF pasta and she did say it wasn’t as good as other places we tired. And we also got gnocchi which was very good. We had a great meal and we were satisfied at the end of the day.
This charming, family-owned restaurant was a PERFECT final meal for our trip to Southern Italy. We were met by a friendly employee who sat us down and asked if we wanted a glass of wine while we waited for our table (we had a reservation). The atmosphere is cute and cozy. We got our table in the alley, which was perfect (Sorrento is full of beautiful alleyways). The pizza was the best I’d had and I’d basically eaten pizza every day for 7 days. My friend and I split a delicious pasta dish so that’s why the portion may look a little small, but it was super delicious and tasted so fresh. The service was great and it was an overall, WONDERFUL experience. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal with a simply charming atmosphere!

I got the gnocchi alla sorrentina and it was pretty good. My husband got the green shrimp gnocchi and he says it was pretty ok. The fries and the baked potatoes were enjoyable. I didn’t realize we ordered everything potato until halfway through eating LOL. We had leftovers because it was very filling.
Amazing food, and very good prices! I was very pleased with literally everything. The carbonara were a bit salty, but I am sure that's just how the recipe is. I also tried some risotto with shrimp and it tasted amazing.
I ordered a lemon pasta with shrimp and asked clearly if it was made with lemon juice or cream. They said cream.
The pasta had no lemon flavor. It wasn’t even salted. I had to send it back.
When it came out again, they had just thrown some salt on top.

This is a wonderful restaurant in a lovely position on Marina Grande.
We enjoyed a fabulous evening dinner here with superb food and lovely service.
The servers were very knowledgeable about all the dishes and the wine list. They were very patient when questioned about the dishes and it was nice to be able to select the fish from the ice box with the fresh catch of the day.
It's not the cheapest restaurant in Sorrento, so expect to pay above average but, for us, the food lived up to the extra price tag (and the bottle of wine was relatively reasonable). A great option for a special occasion or a last night on holiday treat.
We had starters (savoury cheesecake! & the daily special) and mains (the baccolo and a catch of the day fish), a shared dessert, wine and water for €190 but we didn't begrudge a cent of this as it was good value for the quality and overall experience.

Absolutely worth the hype. Gorgeous, but not pretentious. Wait staff are hand filleting fresh fish in sweatshirts and jeans. Cocktails were delicious and well priced. We started with a gorgeous white fish lemon dill pasta then had a monkfish with varietal pumpkin and bone marrow. Dessert was lemon sponge with fluffy Italian meringue and, of course, a tiramisu. Love love loved it.

We picked this place not knowing it was a Michelin star restaurant or anything about it, and we were thrilled when they gave us a table without a reservation. The atmosphere, the coast of Sorrento, is unbelievable and so pretty. Our server, Alessandro, was attentive and beyond kind. He made us feel like a million dollars, and he was so generous. Out of all the meals I’ve had in Italy, this one has been my favorite by far! The pomodoro was fresh and unexpected after a last minute recommendation. Delicious wine and applecello! We came here after spending 3 days in Sorrento (mostly in Marina Piccola) and decided to explore Marina Grande. We didn’t have a reservation but we arrived just before they opened and they were able to seat us. It was our favorite meal of our trip by far! We had the savory cheesecake, spaghettoni, and seafood risotto, with the delizia al limon for dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and unique. I kept thinking “wow, I’ve never tasted anything like this - and I couldn’t make it myself”. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful family run restaurant. We were lucky to get a table for 2 as it was a Saturday night. The whole time we were sitting down, there was a queue outside of people trying to get tables.
Food was beautiful, incredibly cheap compared to the other high profile restaurants in Sorrento and the quality and quantity were definitely better! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent experience here today. We ordered the fried anchovies and king prawns as an appetiser, and the seafood handmade pasta for our mains. The food was delicious!! It was fresh and full of flavour, and the white wine we had was a perfect pairing with our food. Service was great, the seating / atmosphere was perfect, I really felt the Italian vibe, the culture, the people, it was just perfect. The complimentary bread, olive oil/chilli oil and fresh chilli’s were also very yum! Thank you for having us we will definitely be back :)
Very disappointing. The food took too long to arrive, and when it finally came it was cold, bland, and tiny portions. The seafood pasta had only mussels and clams, and the risotto portion was barely a spoonful, the squid was tasteless and chewy !

The mozzarella and prosciutto were fresh, and the peppered mussels were simple but tasty. We enjoyed the Lasagna (Sorrento Style) and the Scialatielli with Porcini Mushrooms and Smoked Cheese. Both pastas were delicious and full of flavour. It truly felt like a home cooked, family meal—extremely impressed with the flavours and fresh ingredients.
We didn’t have a reservation but sat on their lovely street terrace. It got extremely busy once we sat down, so we found that service was quite slow (dinner rush). The staff were still friendly and welcoming but seemed overwhelmed; we weren’t in a rush, so this wasn’t the end of the world.
We would recommend this family-run place for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Neapolitan cuisine.

Our dinner at Lorelei in Sorrento was, without a doubt, the best meal of our entire two-week trip through Italy. We chose the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu, and every course was a masterpiece. Everything was so refined, inventive, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find a restaurant that treats vegetarian cuisine with such creativity and respect, but Lorelei delivered something truly extraordinary.
The setting alone is worth the visit. We dined during sunset, and the panoramic views over the Bay of Naples were absolutely magical! It’s the kind of moment you try to photograph, knowing it will never quite capture how stunning it really was.
What made the evening even more special was the hospitality. We were invited to meet the executive chef and watch as he prepared an extra post dinner dessert and tea before our main dessert. We loved seeing his passion and attention to detail while he worked. While we enjoyed our tea, we were given a tour their beautiful wine cellar, which features a view of an ancient Roman aqueduct! It was an unexpected and fascinating glimpse into Sorrento’s deep history.
Everything about Lorelei feels thoughtful and elevated, yet welcoming. This is the kind of place where every detail matters, from the plating to the pacing to the warmth of the staff. The atmosphere at Lorelei is truly beautiful, with a breathtaking view that makes the setting unforgettable. The service at the table was attentive and professional, and we chose the full chef’s tasting menu (€190) which was absolutely outstanding — every dish was refined, creative, and worthy of the restaurant’s reputation.
However, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the wine pairing (€145 per person). As true wine lovers, we expected generous and attentive service, but the pours were extremely minimal, to the point where we had to repeatedly ask for refills. Despite mentioning several times that wine is an essential part of our dining experience, the sommelier continued serving very small amounts, and eventually we decided to cancel the pairing and order a full bottle instead. Shockingly, it took more than 45 minutes for the bottle to arrive, leaving us without wine for most of the meal.
This was deeply disappointing and turned what could have been a perfect evening into a frustrating one. The cuisine and the ambiance deserve the highest praise, but the wine service did not meet the standards expected at this level — especially given the cost. A place with such incredible food should not let its reputation be diminished by something as essential as wine service.

We got married in Sorrento and came back on our anniversary this year for a few days. We came to Lorelei on our last night, our first time here despite multiple visits to Sorrento over the years. A great start to the evening with cocktails at the La Colonna Sunset Bar, spectacular views and a glorious sunset. Then on to the restaurant where we had the tasting menu and the wine pairing. All very polished and professional, but lacking a bit of personality. If you like a bit of chat with the service team this isn’t the place, it’s very much a romantic couples destination and focus is on pure professionalism. The food was excellent, only maybe missing a hero dish on one of the courses. Issue for us was the wine pairing, really not good value at all - we are not big drinkers but each wine pairing was barely a couple of mouthfuls. The final pairing with the dessert was not even wine but a bottle of beer, really disappointing, the beer wasn’t even that nice. For the cost of the wine pairing we could have ordered 3 or 4 bottles of really good wines for the same price or less. The other issue we found was a long wait from being seated to the first course and drinks, about 45 minutes where we only had water. At least we had the views while we waited.

We walked by, were greeted with the word steak and decided to listen to the gentleman at the door. We decided on the buffalo cheese platter for 2, curred meat platter for 2, focaccia and a small salad. It was the perfect amount of food for 4 of us and delicious! Service was excellent. I was recommended this restaurant from a stranger I ran into in the US that overheard me talking about going to the Amalfi Coast. We went and were so glad we did. Inn Bufalito was the best place we ate at in Capri, Positano or Florence! Honestly might be the best restaurant I have ever been to. Can’t wait to come back someday.
We had an amazing dinner for 4 here (2 couples). We tried all the cheeses, had a beef steak and a buffalo steak, gnocchi and spaghetti and then 3 desserts (lemon cake, raspberry cheesecake & crème brûlée). Plus PLENTY of Falanghina. Our waiter was amazing and basically curated our dinner. Would definitely recommend for a delicious meal in Sorrento.

We had a great dinner tonight at Inn Buffalo. The ambiance had a great vibe to it. The service was both courteous and professional and the food was great. The steak was as good as anything I can get in the U.S. The steak menu itself had such a wide variety.

Decent place in the heart of Sorrento- but nothing exceptional. We had a Rez, and were seated right away.
They provide a couple of bread plates; one with tomato right when you sit which is nice. They have good wine selection and claim to have homemade pasta.
The pasta dishes we had were a little too salty, and the lasagna was a little dry and a little burned on top.
A nice treat at the end of the meal was a small shot of lemon cello in a frozen glass.
They were very pushy about leaving a cash tip when we paid, even though they included the standard service charge in the bill.

The waiters were so welcoming and one could tell that they were just focusing on making everyone have a good time. There was live entertainment and the singer was so sweet and asked everyone what their favorite Italian song was to proceed to sing it for them. Definitely recommend this place and don’t let the rating fool you.

They even brought out a little side dish for you If you don’t order when others at the table are eating they give you a snack so you’re not left out.
The staff are quick and polite. We got our first meal out very quickly but our second meal took 45 minutes where we were just sitting waiting to pay and leave but they wouldn’t let us because our food was still being processed. That was our only disappointment.
The other disappointment which was small but out of their control was an accordion player played like two songs and then went around, asking for tips, which we thought he would continue playing, but he just left with the money. Kinda funny but wish we didn’t tip for two short songs.
I'm discussing food and eating for the last 2 weeks in Italy we made mention that we had not had our usual staples for food... We needed something besides pasta.. Protein... Wifeeee wanted beef and I wanted local seafood. In one second she told us to come here, we did and we can't say enough about the whole experience!! Great servers great food (good size portions) and if you like wine he has a wine cellar to dream about!!!
Food was real average and service was horrendous. Unless you want to be in your chair up against the table and constantly have your chair pushed and grabbed on to do not come here. The entire dinner me and my fiancé had our chairs as far as we could go in and we both kept getting pushed into and our chairs grabbed the entire night. At one point a server even bumped into my fiancé so hard his wrist was slammed into the table causing him pain throughout the night and hours later now. Towards the end of the night what seemed to be the owner even started smoking behind the bar which is near at least 10 tables completely ruined our appetite. The staff were very rude to everyone and unprofessional. Not a single smile from any customer in the room like you would normally see when going out to dinner. We saw multiple other people leave unhappy. Servers were slamming dishes around unnecessarily and slamming the coolers for the wine everywhere causing a loud echoing noise through the restaurant and multiple people turning around to see what the commotion was about. Do not come here unless you want an anxiety ridden meal worrying about the next time you’re going to get slammed in to.
Overall great experience. The food was great and the atmosphere and the service were good. The pasta is really amazing. Note that the prices you see online are outdated and nowadays it’s a bit pricey.

Food was a solid 4, but the service was so horrible it over rides any sort of good meal. Male waiter black glasses heavy set serving back end of resteraunt near pizza oven has no business serving. Not a single smile, slamming into our chairs constantly, shoved his hand behind my fiances back to grab her chair when walking by, my elbow got slammed into so hard my hand launched up and wrist hit the side of the table. Owner/manager smoking a cigarette behind the bar filling the dining room with the aroma.. service was legit 3rd world.. horrible energy in whole room, front room had diff vibe and energy. My wrist is still throbbing, I would not return here for a free meal.
We visit this restaurant when we go to Sorrento. Not only is the atmosphere so cool with the Sophia Loren photos but different dining experiences as well. Food was fantastic. The zucchini pasta, burrata and filet was amazing. So was the dessert. Make reservations.
This restaurant is all about atmosphere. It’s beautifully decorated with indoor/outdoor seating. We had pesto raviolis and gnocchi to start followed by pork chops that were well grilled. Service was below average but such a cool spot.

Tried this place based on recommendation from a local city guide. Also it was very close to our snorkeling tour company. I ordered the lobster pasta which was excellent. The pasta I have read is home made. The tomato sauce was simple and light but very flavorful. My wife tried the sea bass and zucchini. It was good but she would have liked a bit more salt. We had a table right next to the water and enjoyed the picturesque surroundings. The restaurant is family owned and operated. They were very kind and not in a hurry to move us along which is great unless you are work out and wanting the check to get home.
A local recommended this restaurant and it did NOT disappoint! We were in Sorrento for 8 nights and the sea bass here was the best dinner of the entire trip! We had the prosciutto/mozzarella starter and then went on to the sea bass, which was perfectly seasoned and tender. Everything was fresh and reasonably priced. …not to mention a half liter of their house wine was only €7. 10 out of 10! Highly recommended.

Had a great experience here with friends. We were welcomed with great hospitality. We tried the house wine which was lovely and refreshing. The food was just amazing. Seafood was clean, super fresh and tasty. The lobster spaghetti and grilled octopus were my favourite. The calamari was super fresh, soft and very well seasoned. We found this spot looking for dinner and drinks. It is located in the centre of Sorrento and we were welcomed in by very friendly staff. It is a street restaurant, so don’t expect any views, however if you want a nice pasta or pizza at affordable prices then this is the place to go. Food is served very quickly and tasted delicious. We went for a margarita pizza and carbonara pasta. Both portion sizes are huge (We couldn’t finish the dishes) and served hot and fresh. Would highly recommend a visit.

Out of the four nights we spent in Sorrento, we came to eat here twice! I have to admit, it was one of the few places in Sorrento where the food truly met our expectations. First, the service was impeccable. The staff was very kind, always smiling, and they gave us great recommendations on the daily specials and other options. The pasta was super soft, and the portions were generous! As someone who isn’t a big fan of pasta, I highly recommend the chicken—it was juicy but had that grilled flavor that was perfect! The salads and potatoes were also delicious, great to accompany the meal, and of course, we couldn’t skip dessert. We ordered the tiramisu both times because it was that good, and I also recommend trying the lemon delight.
The best part? The dogs and cats that roam the place. They walk around so respectfully, spreading love, and it’s impossible not to want to pet them. Highly recommended!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant that was off the beaten path and offered a shuttle service to get there. They didn't answer the phone so we ended up trekking up the hill hoping for a local experience. What we found was a bizarre mixture of restaurant, zoo, playground, and dining hall. There were multiple staff running around but only ours and one other table occupied. Food was good but strange experience that I'm not sure I'd recommend venturing out of the main town for. Plenty of other more authentic and enjoyable places closer to the old town.
Not touristy at all, seems like a local place. One of the best food we had in sorrento with warm and kind service!! The price is reasonable. I had the risotto (14 euro)and my husband the steak (30 euro). Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food.

Amazing food, service and views which made it a very memorable meal. We were given quite a few complimentary courses which were all very tasty and beautifully presented. The sunset views were incredible and I would definitely recommend visiting for any special occasion.
What made our visit here even more special was the exceptional service. Our server Andrew was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The staff were also super accommodating for any allergies.
We enjoyed our meal so much that we went back a few nights later and were served by Tobia & Mario who were also fantastic.

Amazing sunset view. Food was good when we finally got it. We sat at our table for 45 minutes before ever getting a drink or taking our drink order. Three different waiters cane, but they had to get the bar waiter to take our cocktail orders. Then you have to pay for cocktails at bar and not on your food bill. Approached the manager about waiting forever just to take our drink order. He did not seem too concerned. 5 adults and 5 kids under 15. That set the tone for our last night in Sorrento.

You need to make a reservation beforehand, we didn’t so we just spent some time in the bar and left but even that time was enough to understand the quality of the food, the music and the outstanding view 😻😻😻even when you order just a couple of cocktails in the bar they bring you a nice complimentary set.
WOW! This was a dining experience. Each course was wonderful. The gifts the chef sent to taste were thoughtful. We couldn’t stop smiling. This by far was our best evening of delightful everything. The view, the decor, the service, all on point! Truly a delight. The prices are reasonable with all the someone it comes with. It has now become something I can’t wait to return to. They went out of their way to make their guests feel like royalty. What a genuinely wonderful all around experience oh unique touches such as dessert served in a beautiful wooden antique box..Great flare and creativity put into so much. Oh, did I mention the fireworks! Rosie not guaranteed but so fantastic when they’re there. It was a perfect end to our meal. We then went to other side for cocktails and they were delicious and the bartender and staff were hilarious and engaging. It was a blast! The piano played and we all had a wonderful time.

Pizzeria Aurora is a charming restaurant located in the center of Sorrento, offering wood-oven pizzas, pasta, and regional dishes. Pizzeria Aurora, located right in Piazza Sant'Eustachio, is a classic Roman pizzeria that offers both atmosphere and great food. It's a bustling spot, and while it's close to major sights, it manages to maintain a truly satisfying quality, especially with its dough.
I tried two different styles: the classic Margherita with Mushrooms and the elaborate Aurora 4. The Margherita base was fantastic—a thin, crisp, yet slightly chewy crust with just the right char. The tomato sauce was bright, and the fresh mozzarella melted beautifully with the earthy slices of mushroom. It was a perfect, elevated version of a standard favorite.
However, the second dish, the Aurora 4 (a half calzone, half pizza hybrid), was the real showstopper. The dish is priced at €14.00. The calzone side was generously stuffed with creamy mozzarella and tender mushrooms (funghi), offering a rich, savory, and pocketed bite. The open pizza half was topped with high-quality, thinly sliced Prosciutto di Parma and finished with savory Parmesan shavings (scaglie di parmigiano). This half-and-half format is a brilliant way to enjoy a wide range of incredible flavors and textures in a single meal.
While it can get busy, the service is efficient, and the pizzas are consistently delicious. A great stop for a traditional Roman pie!

Fun, upbeat restaurant in the heart of Sorrento. Had various Pizza choices which were excellent. Salads were large but average at best. Tried both ravioli and lasagna and the group again thought they were above average. Several tour groups arrived and the noise level went up considerably. Overall a good, not great visit.

Had a bland Gnocchi pasta and two pizzas, the pizzas came whole. No slices cut at all, im not sure what they expect us to eat it whole or to cut it with a knife. We asked the staff they could bring a pizza cutter or cut it, one made a huge display of showing us how to use a fork and knife for it. Was demeaning, then we tasted the bland, flavorless mush of Gnocchi, we asked if we could change it as the entire party tasted and disliked it and they shrugged their shoulders. They said it was their speciality dish...
Seems sad to me that their flavorless dish was also their speciality. No apology no concern that we wouldn't eat what we ordered.
When the manager came to ask us if we were happy we told her what happened and her reply was this is europe what did you expect for the restaurant to change the dish... actually in Europe I expected some pride for your special dishes. For a pasta in italy to be flavorless and mushy the chef should be embarrassed.
For a tourist area I also expected some sort of customer service. But none wad forthcoming.
Id avoid this place at all costs. A total waste of money and time.

Two girls beside us wanted to order another drink as they were vegan & they were told no you have to order food this is a restaurant! They ordered another drink as an apology but never drank them & left, can’t blame them. The pizzas we ordered were burned on the base, impossible to cut & drenched in oil but the grumpy old male staff made this dining experience in Italy truly miserable. Avoid.

The Margherita pizza and wine was excellent and the service was spectacular. It's a prime location right on the main square at the center of Sorrento. This place was recommended by a local who brings his own family for pizza.
I had an extremely disappointing experience due to the rude service we encountered. There were three of us, and one person wanted to order a single pizza. However, the waiter—who is in the picture—mocked us openly, telling us to leave because, in his words, this was "not the place for us." He outright refused to serve us unless we ordered three pizzas, insisting that the restaurant didn’t allow for light snacks. I attempted to explain our situation, emphasizing that we were there primarily to cater to our friend's craving for pizza, but he continued to belittle me, rolling his eyes and dismissing me altogether. This behavior was completely unacceptable, and it made for an awful experience that I won't forget.
Got ravioli, ceaser salad, and a pizza. The ravioli tasted like it was from a can, maybe even canned would be better. Salad was straight water and pizza was just okay. Very busy and took forever. By the time I had finished eating we waited another half an hour to get my boyfriend’s meal. Wouldn’t go again.

We followed their recommendations for our meal, and every dish was an absolute delight, there were no letdowns here! The outdoor terrace seating was perfect, despite the busy street, it was surprisingly quiet with a fantastic vibe.

A lovely restaurant / wine bar in an alley just off the main avenue of Sorrento Centro. We were able to be seated with no reservation thankfully. Service was great. We loved our meals as well as people watching on a busy Friday evening (Ferreagosto). They even brought out watermelon for us to join in on the celebration. I would definitely return to try more of the menu!
My favourite place we found in Sorrento - so much so we were there 3 times in a week - once for just drinks, once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time was better than the last! The waiters are so friendly, polite and kind - their wine knowledge and professionalism was really perfect. The food speaks for itself and is absolutely delicious. Food and wine highlight of our trip! Great, friendly service from Antonio. They have a vast selection of wines and managed to have the wine we found from Ischia which no one else seems to sell (Crateca, Biancolella). The food was soo tasty and took us a while to finally decide what we’d eat as there was great choice, and not what you find everywhere else. We may be back again to try the rest.
Everything was tasty and well presented. Immaculate service. Portions are not big but they are ok if you compare with the price and flavors. Highly recommended plate is the artichoke even though all plates were very nice.
For sure the best restaurant we have been in Sorrento. We got a table on the street but they also have options inside. The service was very polite and attentive. The food was absolutely perfect. The best Carbonara of my life and the guancia di vitella was also tasty and tender. We didn't had a wine on this night but they have a huge wine list.

I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Bagni Sant’Anna during a recent trip to Sorrento, and the experience was nothing short of magical.
Set directly on the water’s edge, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the sea – and as the sun began to set, we found ourselves dining against the most spectacular golden backdrop. It was one of those moments where the setting alone already felt special.
The food was equally impressive. We began with a beautifully grilled fish – light, clean in flavour, and not in the least bit dry. The squid was another highlight: perfectly tender and full of smoky, chargrilled character. The seafood pasta was truly memorable, with wonderfully chewy noodles and a rich, savoury sauce that brought everything together.
For dessert, we enjoyed a selection of canelé, tiramisu, and lemon cake – all delicious in their own right and a perfect way to end the meal. Each sweet offered a different texture and flavour, yet all were executed with finesse.
What truly made the evening unforgettable, however, was the arrival of an elderly gentleman with a guitar just as the sun touched the horizon. He began to play O Sole Mio and other classics, and suddenly the entire atmosphere shifted – as if we had been transported into a romantic film. It was spontaneous, heartfelt, and incredibly moving.
The only regret I have is not being able to leave a tip for the musician, as I didn’t have any cash on me – something I truly felt sorry for.
In every way, this was a flawless dining experience – from the food to the view to the atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Ristorante Bagni Sant’Anna to anyone visiting Sorrento. It’s the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after the sun has set.

The restaurant is literally located on the water on a floating dock. It is a no frills restaurant that does seafood right. My guess is everything we ate was swimming in the sea earlier in the day.
We had fried calamari as an appetizer and it was perfectly cooked. Served with fries, which was a bit odd, but no biggie.
We had cheese ravioli for Primi. Again, perfectly cooked with a nice light tomato ragu.
For secondi we went with a special they offered us. It was a whole sea bass with broccoli and small potatoes. Light butter lemon dressing. Perfectly cooked and served tableside by the waiter who plucked it clean onto our plates with the traditional for and spoon technique.
Complementary Limoncello at the end of the meal. Two rounds.
Service was impeccable.
So why not five stars? It was the bill. We were surprised by the price of the fish. It doesn't matter what it was. I would just ask the server if you are offered a special what is the cost.
We have had great meals in Sorrento for about 25% less. This was not fine dining.
We were careless and got burned.

Staff were really friendly and we had a day of hiring the sun lounger for our last day in Sorrento before heading home. Had a bit of food and a few drinks. Food was pretty nice. Overall great vibes and atmosphere and a great place to chill out.
Bagni SantAnna is hands down one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. It has everything you could want in a beach day. One side has a great restaurant, and the other is full of super comfortable loungers with umbrellas where you can lay out and totally relax. The best part? They bring food and drinks right to you while you’re lounging, no need to move a muscle.
The service is amazing, and everyone who works there is so friendly and hardworking. Alessandro, especially, is the sweetest. He made such an effort to get to know all of us and made every day feel special. I’m seriously going to miss him.
The music is always great, the vibe is super laid-back, and the whole place just feels good. If I could go to Bagni SantAnna every day, I would. Already counting down the days until I can come back.

At first you’ll be approached by the owner Francos flamboyant energy which will have you questioning whether this restaurant is more show than tell.
He welcomes you with lots of energy to a view from the pier that is incredible…. but from my experience, that combination is usually the perfect recipe for an overpriced restaurant that looks good but doesn’t satisfy the taste pallet. I will admit that my assumption was invalid.
For once a restaurant has good looks and an incredible personality… This must be what love is.

We LOVED this restaurant. I ordered one of the specials which was a yellow tomato spaghetti with lobster. The lobster helping was incredibly generous and it was fresh out of the sea. For dessert we had the lemon mousse and limoncello. To die for! Best meal we’ve had in our week and a day in Italy. To top it off, the owner/manager (I’m not sure which role he had) was incredibly kind. Shook our hands upon arrival and he also kindly greeted us as we were leaving. The view is breathtaking too!

If you have dietary requirements, please explicitly share these when you first arrive, as the 'surprise dishes' start before you are even seated.

The service was truly excellent - special thanks to our waiter Alexander, who did a fantastic job and made us feel very well taken care of. The view was stunning, no doubt about that.
But when it comes to the food… there are some questions.
The dishes didn’t quite deliver the kind of flavor explosion one might hope for at this level. Some elements lacked clarity, and I didn’t notice any particularly bold or memorable choices in the menu. I wouldn’t call the food outstanding - rather, it was a good dinner, but not a wow experience.
When we choose a Michelin-starred restaurant, we expect not only refined technique and beautiful plating, but also a kind of emotional impact - something we can’t easily find in a regular dining experience. And in that sense, our expectations weren’t fully met.
From Miami to NY and all in between, this is the most artistic, well planned, extravagant meal I’ve ever had.

With 30 changing rooms, king-size loungers, floating sunbeds, and even private jacuzzis available for those seeking luxury. The club also boasts a restaurant serving lunch and dinner daily.
We had the most incredible time! Literally everything (food, service, and atmosphere) was perfect. The staff was so helpful and friendly. My husband and I will be recommending this beach club to anyone visiting Sorrento! We will definitely be back!

Back again after two years and it’s still a favorite. Great food, perfect vibe and amazing service. Tony, our server, took such good care of us…oh and grab the VIP area if you can for extra special experience!
Marameo Beach Club was a bit of a letdown. €30 per chair and €10 for an umbrella, with no side table included — which makes enjoying drinks a bit awkward. Towels cost another €5 each, so things add up quickly.
Lunch came to €75 for a few small snacks, and while that’s not totally unexpected along this stretch of the marina (most beach clubs are pricey), the service didn’t match the spend. Our waiter was friendly at first but seemed to lose interest after we didn’t tip — even though we had to ask several times for a side table that never arrived.
If you’re heading down to the beach clubs here, just know you’re paying more for the location than the experience. Not terrible, but definitely not great value either.

Our experience at Gelateria David was absolutely amazing! This is more than just a gelato shop—it's a must-do experience in Sorrento. We were lucky enough to take a gelato class with Mario Gargiulo, one of the best gelato makers you'll ever meet.
Mario was fantastic. He not only showed us the entire process of making authentic gelato but also taught us how to tell the difference between fresh, high-quality gelato and older batches. The class was so much fun for our entire group, and watching him work his magic was a true highlight.
Afterward, we got to sample the gelato we made, and I was genuinely blown away. The sorbet was, without a doubt, one of the best I have ever tasted in my life.
You absolutely have to stop by Gelateria David for Sorrento's best gelato. The quality and the passion here are unmatched.

Best ice cream in Sorrento. All hand made from scratch. We tried the pistachio, nut and coffee ice cram which were exquisite.
The ice cream is made with local seasonal fruit and vegetables. Also we took part in a workshop behind the scenes which was interesting and tasty.

Wow! This place is truly amazing, from start to finish we were blown away. The views of the bay are great, but the views inside with the art and decor are equally impressive. The service is above and beyond at every turn. We loved the cocktail recommendations to start, they allowed us to order a cheese plate from the dessert menu to start (even suggesting a great wine pairing) and helped us customize a beautiful, relaxed 2.5 hour dining experience. The kitchen sent a surprise starter course and an extra dessert on the house, and all the food was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to any Americans traveling to sorrento, everyone spoke fluent English and we felt right at home. Well most certainly be back the next time we’re in Italy 🇮🇹
My recent visit to Vesubio Panoramic Restaurant was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the breathtaking views. The panoramic vista of the surrounding landscape (and of course, the majestic Vesuvius itself) is truly unparalleled and creates an unforgettable dining ambiance.
The food was equally impressive. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with fresh, authentic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Italy. Must go especially if you’re staying at the hotel. We went to a few Michelin star places in the area and this was easily our favorite taste wise. Large wine list and had a beautiful bottle of gaja chard and tignanello. The staff of course were amazing. Give this place their star!
Absolutely outstanding! Vesuvio Panoramic is much more than a restaurant, it’s an experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special. Their attention to detail is fantastic: everyone is professional, polite, and attentive, perfectly trained in their roles, and they elevate the simple act of enjoying a cocktail at sunset into something unforgettable.
The waiters know the menu by heart, describing each dish with such passion that you fall in love with the cuisine before even tasting it. And when the food arrives, it’s simply delicious, easily among the best in Sorrento.
To make our evening even more memorable, they kindly gifted us a bottle of olive oil and arranged for a complimentary shuttle back to our hotel in the center. As someone who truly appreciates fine dining and lifestyle experiences, I can honestly say I’ve never received service quite like this before.

A very nice and small restaurant. The service was super nice and the seafood was super fresh. The only thing was tonight was a big group of guests there with kids and they made a lot of noise, and the pasta with lobster only had small pieces of lobster in it. But the food was fresh prepared and tasted very good. I strongly recommend this place.
Our daughter found this gem on our first night in Sorrento and oh what a find! The staff is very friendly and set the tone for a welcoming dining experience. We had the 6-course meal and it did not disappoint! Starters: sea bream with raspberry and sauce was only this world; the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection, tuna tartare with avocado cream was very delicious; the coconut?? shrimp was ok in comparison to the other starters and I wasn’t sure exactly what the flavor profile was: it didn’t taste like much of anything. The first course: Gnocchi Sorrentina offered pillow soft pasta in commodore sauce. Soooo gooodd!!. Second course:!seated Amberjack fish with steamed Bok Choy was perfect ending to the savory meals. This was followed by Limoncello, not my jam, so I don’t drink it and the meal was rounded out with espresso and a lemon raspberry tart. The white wine that was also party of the multi course meal complimented everything brilliantly. Highly recommend this wonderful gem and would certainly go back for another meal.
This ended up being the most underwhelming meal of our 6 days in Sorrento, despite also being one of the more expensive.
The upside: The owner was welcoming, the plating was beautiful, and the tuna Genovese is the one dish I’d recommend.
The downside: The appetizers (croquette and carpaccio with soy dressing) were overly salty. The “taco/bao,” grilled octopus, and spaghetti with scampi lacked flavor. We were also charged a seating fee for our 2-year-old — something no other restaurant did — and the servers came across as unfriendly.
I share this as constructive feedback, since I believe the restaurant has potential and things to love with a few improvements.
Service was the WORST amongst all restaurants I visited in South Italy. One of the male waiters was rather impolite in both tone and attitude. And I was also asked to add an extra 8–15% service charge when paying. Overall, the dining experience didn’t feel worth the $50+ per person price.
The food was quite average. The seafood didn’t seem very fresh — the fish was soft and mushy, which made it quite unpleasant to eat. The seasoning didn’t really go well with the dishes - it feels all sour and salty and sweet flavour mix up in one dish all at the same time, which makes the dish lost its characteristics.
First time visiting Sorrento - a local friend recommended it to me and it was the best place I ate while I was here. The food was fantastic. absolutely delicious. fresh seafood, wonderful wine. Cozy, chic atmosphere with beautiful plateware and relaxed, but attentive service. Not too touristy. I will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Nestled in the charming village of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, Lo Stuzzichino stands out as a culinary gem on the Sorrento Peninsula. This family-run osteria, led by the talented father-son duo Paolo and Mimmo De Gregorio, has been delighting diners for over 30 years with its inventive dishes crafted from carefully sourced ingredients.
My absolute favorite dining experience during my trip to Italy was at Lo Stuzzichino! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and love of this family-owned and operated restaurant. The atmosphere is lively, upbeat, and so welcoming.
We celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday here, and the staff made her the absolute star of the night. Mimmo, the owner and chef, personally came over to greet us, checked in several times, and at the end of our meal brought out a birthday cake while leading the entire restaurant in singing “Happy Birthday.” He even gave every diner a complimentary lemon drop shot to join in on the celebration! It was such a beautiful, unforgettable moment.
The food was equally amazing. We each started with a glass of white wine, fresh caprese, grilled octopus, and the most incredible spaghetti and meatballs. I tried this dish at several restaurants during my trip, and without question, this was the best. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Lo Stuzzichino is the kind of place that makes you feel like family, and I cannot wait to return. Truly a must-visit in Santa Agata.

Had high hopes for this restaurant as the reviews were really positive. Made a reservation for 8:15pm and stood at the entrance for a long timescale despite booking. Plenty of colleagues running around but nobody acknowledged us - eventually acknowledged and the table needed setting which is normal, left standing up and no one was setting the table so continued to wait - eventually I sat down at the table and waited for it to be set. Food was lovely and the drinks were nice - cheesecake was delicious. Just a shame about the poor service experience at the start.

Different prices for the same 0.5L house wine. And a sea bream that was the catch of the day. 8€ per pound, but cavities calculated like 8€/100gr. The sea bream filet dish in the menu was 22€ and the whole fish (just a normal size - I allow me to judge, since I'm eating this at home every serving week) for two was 65€ in the end.
We greatly enjoyed our lunch in Stuzzichino. Everything from the general vibe to service and food quality and presentation were excellent! The place is a family business with 3 generations of the family are being actively involved in running the place. The owners genuinely enjoy their job and interaction with people making the visit here a very personal and authentic experience. We tried several antipasti dishes and one main dish - all were excellent. The waiter was attentive to our needs, the food was served quickly and arranged for us to share as we requested. The owner stopped by to say hello and to send greetings to the host of our bed and breakfast who gave us the recommendation about this restaurant. It felt very personal and welcoming! Thank you!
I usually don’t bother leaving reviews, but this place deserves it. Chef himself came to the table multiple times. The food was absolutely brilliant. I ended up over eating because it was that good. Recipient of the 2021 Michelin star. You would have no idea because the staff is so personable and unpretentious would definitely come again.
I’d like to share with you a little gem near Sorrento called Sant’Agata, home to the amazing restaurant Lo Stuzzichino.
If you’re looking for outstanding food, this is the place to go. We made a reservation through our hotel, and Alessandro kindly drove us there and back – such a warm and wonderful person.
We ordered ravioli, pasta, grilled beef, tiramisu, and cheesecake. Every course was fantastic – the flavors were simply unbelievable.
At the end of the meal, we had the pleasure of meeting the heart of the restaurant: Mimo, the great chef. He is such a kind person, always striving to give his guests the very best.
The atmosphere was delightful, and the whole team – from the waiters to the chef – made the experience truly special. I am absolutely certain I’ll be returning to this restaurant.

That was my very first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and I have to say, I've never tasted food this extraordinary in my life! The highlight was hearing the owner share the heartwarming story of how the restaurant began back in 1989 with his parents, and now he has taken over. He was incredibly welcoming, and the food was both sophisticated and bursting with flavor, letting you savor every single ingredient. The service was outstanding, and the three staff members were so much fun, making us feel right at home. The music added to the delightful atmosphere, and we will absolutely recommend this place to everyone so they can enjoy it as much as we did!
What a spectacular evening! We came to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a prominent chef in NYC and it did not disappoint! We let the chef order for us and it was tremendous! The restaurant is lovely-cozy and warm, the staff so welcoming and the food is next level. If there is a restaurant in heaven, Chef De Gregorio should be the chef!

The sorbet tastes great when you get to the bottom half that's soaked in lemon. The outer part is not bad, and it's recommended to put a little less of the outer part.
Best gelato in Sorrento hands down. The owner is almost always here and makes his gelato with love (and great skill!). He may not have 30 to 40 flavors, but his gelato has the best quality ingredients and he takes great pride in his product. A popular tourist item is a real lemon filled with limone' gelato. Many of them are pre-made and ready to go. Fresco makes ir right there and his limone is the best flavor as well. Support this shop, it's the best gelato you'll find while in Sorrento.

Just enjoyed a great time at this beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Vesuvius. The staff went out of their way to make sure that you felt welcome, and were comfortable. A special shout out to Rosa, who took the time to give us recommendations, make reservations and do everything to make our trip memorable.
On October 10th of 2025 Samantha and I were married at the Bellevue Syrene Hotel. We could not have asked for a more magical and memorable day. It truelly was the best day of our lives.
This was all made possible through the amazing help from Angelo and Chiara.
Throughout the whole planning process Angelo kept telling us not to worry, that everything was under control. He could not have been more correct. Our special day was flawless, perfect in every way. Angelo and Chiara ensured that every request was met, regardless of how last minute or large they were. They even picked up on aspects that we completely forgot about!
I was amazed at the service provided by the entire venue. From the doormen staff to the valletting service, reception, kitchen staff and servers. Everyone went above and beyond for us.
I would like to thank Angelo and Chiara personally for everything they did for Sam and I. This was truly the best day of our lives and you both made that possible.

Rooms were very clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Location was beautiful! The food however was just ok. The breakfast was fine. We had dinner at the restaurant and we weren’t very impressed with any of the food nor how it was prepared. They took our order wrong for our pasta dish and the person who took our order never came over to apologize for his error. But nonetheless it was beautiful scenery.
Had the best time getting dinner and drinks. The views here of the sunset are the absolute best in Sorrento. We were also lucky enough to catch some fireworks😊

We had dinner last night at the restaurant. The property and setting are amazing. We were 45 minutes early for our reservation and planned to go to the bar for a drink. We were told our table was ready early and were asked would we like to be seated early which we did. I know the dinner is to be relaxing but the service was inattentive and slow. We had to ask twice to order cocktails for the entire table. The restaurant was not busy. The kitchen was very slow and it was midnight before we finished secondi. We decided not to order dessert due to the slow service. My friend from Italy tried to help move the service along but to no avail.
The setting is certainly worthy of a Michelin 5 star but the service and food were not. My Italian friend and my girlfriend both sent their grilled Octopus back as it was tough.
I had been looking forward to this dinner for weeks as a friend recommended the restaurant. I left extremely disappointed.

Peter's Beach is a picturesque pebbly strand nestled against cliffs, offering rental chairs and umbrellas. It transforms from a beach club by day to a cocktail bar and restaurant at sunset, creating a fairytale atmosphere by the sea. With jazz music in the background and the soothing sound of waves, it provides an enchanting setting for enjoying ocean views, upscale dining, live music performances, and refreshing cocktails.
My favourite beach club in Sorrento. Prices are reasonable compared to others and the water was clean. I definitely recommend it if you want to have a beach day in sorrento. The service was great, and the food was delicious.. most of the other reviews are fake I even met the owner she was very welcoming and treated us with respect.

RUN don't walk from this overpriced dump. The other beach clubs are better but it was too late because we were already in the hole for $73 Euro for 2 Sun chairs and umbrella and a towel that shed all over us when we tried to dry ourselves down. Beach club surrounding it are much nicer so treat yourself! Avoid!
Pretty spot to relax and swim! We enjoyed a few drinks but the price for few was a bit much after paying $70 for sun-beds but after spending a few hours here we made our moneys worth. Staff is great and super helpful and very quick to assist and guide!
This beach is only private, no one can have access to the beach without renting a chair and umbrella, these will cost more than 40€ which is ridiculously expensive! I do not recommend this place if you want to swim in a public place. The staff were unfriendly as well.
First came here in 2022. Had a Covid recovery day. Thought i was going to die. Literally!! Lunch was amazing! Felt much better after. Came back in 2025. OMG the place just get’s better! Food is amazing. You get these little paper bags of bread delivered to your table after your drinks arrive. Heaven in a bag!!! 6 different breads- all amazing!

Totally overpriced: 30 euros for a sunbed, plus 9 euro for an umbrella. Still you cannot choose where you want to sit, they’ll assign you a place instead. When we arrived there was a queue, despite the club being half empty. People had to wait in the sun, no communication why everything takes ages. Wouldn’t go there again.
Peter’s Beach may have a nice setting, but it feels like a textbook tourist trap. €70 for two sunbeds and one umbrella is steep—especially since it’s the most expensive of the three clubs in the area. The bar prices are inflated too, so you end up overpaying at every turn.
15-25€ per Person and unfortunately they are closing pretty early (but honestly we came very late and only had 1 1/2 Hours left as we arrived)
The swimming area is great and also the whole beach is very nice and clean.
