Nestled on a serene, tree-lined street just a stone's throw from Manito Park, Rockwood Bakery is a beloved gem in Spokane’s culinary landscape. Since its inception in 1985, this charming bakery has become a bustling hub for locals and visitors alike. With its warm ambiance featuring vintage decor and cozy mismatched furniture, it invites you to unwind with friends or dive into your favorite book.
This is a wonderful, family welcoming bakery. The food is delicious 😋 and the people are very kind. Many bring their pups and the park is a short distance away if you fancy a walk after your treat! Sweet bakery items, hot dishes, salads, coffee drinks, and more.

Arrived shortly after it opened and this place was packed (the line went out the door)! Service was absolutely great; the servers were friendly and kind, food and drinks were out quickly and everything tasted great.

A gem in Spokane, Rockwood Bakery is a must-visit spot. Their coffee is spectacular, and the food is just as impressive—everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Beyond the great food and drinks, what really makes this place shine are the workers, who are an absolute delight. The atmosphere is neat and cozy, making it the perfect place to hang out with friends. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee or a place to settle in for a while, you can't go wrong with Rockwood Bakery.

Great coffee shop! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and really made us feel comfortable. The coffee and pastries were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. A gentleman with a mustache took our order, he was fantastic. We also chatted with the cashier, she was super sweet and had such a bubbly personality. (wish we had asked their names!) We mentioned we were visiting the town, and she told us she had moved here a few years ago. She even shared some great feedback and recommendations on places to visit, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and we truly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend!

Food would be 5 stars but the quiche crust was overbaked and the texture of the quiche was not great. The cinammon scone was AMAZING, coffee was good, seating was easy to find, the neighborhood is super cute, stopped by on the way to Manito Park.

Stopped by here on my lunch break and I'm glad I did but also afraid I will be coming back far too often lol. The cinnamon rolls are possibly the best I've ever had. They're crispy like a danish yet perfectly buttery soft, just mouthwatering. And the zucchini walnut bread was heavenly. As well as the cookie. Everything tastes so fresh and home baked and is very filling. The people up front are friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this place.

Came at noon on a Saturday and it's a pleasant amount of busyness. They have a plethora of food items and all of their coffees come out looking and tasting great!

Thus is a fun bakery and meeting place near Manito Park on the near south hill in Spokane. They have a wide variety of store made muffins, scones, sweet roles, quiche, breads, and breakfast burrito and sandwiches. The coffees good, other drinks too. I'll be back for sure.

Chaps Diner and Bakery in Spokane is a popular spot tucked away in the Latah neighborhood, offering generous portions of modern American comfort food. The eclectic farmhouse ambiance is adorned with vintage knickknacks, sparkly chandeliers, and antique cake stands. This cozy cafe and bakery serves up hearty dishes like custard-style baked oatmeal, omelets, French toast variations, and an array of pastries.
One of my top places to visit whenever I’m in the area. Never been disappointed. Every time I come here it’s been amazing food and service. The Monte Cristo and the Chick and Waffles are my two favorite dishes. The atmosphere is very unique with lots of antique decor with lots of outdoor plants.

Outstanding food quality, elevated breakfast favorites here in a casual and comfortable setting with ample indoor and outdoor seating and friendly, efficient service. Oh yeah and the cappuccino is on point! I love this place! Get in line at the counter to order. They assign you a table number as you're waiting in line. Order. Head to your table and they bring everything to you. Get there early if you can because this place gets busy. I had the best eggs Benedict I've ever tasted. Every detail perfect. The fresh baked English muffin, the decadent hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and high quality ham all worked in harmony to create eggs Benny bliss! Kudos to the kitchen! And the Maple Pecan Scone I tasted was excellent.

If you don’t mind throwing down for the ultimate brunch experience, this is certainly your place. Tucked right off the Pullman highway just a few minutes from downtown Spokane, this location knows their brunch. When you enter, you get a whiff of fresh baked goods and a large open commercial kitchen that showcases their pastry creations of the day. While the line can be a bit long on weekends, they have created a seamless system where you order your meal at the front register and get a pastry right away while you go find a table and wait for your drinks and meal. Savory or sweet, they have it on the menu. I had their matcha latte and eggs florentine, with a chocolate croissant and couple pastries for the road. The food is entirely reasonable for the large portions you get. Flavors were sensational and absolutely satisfying. If you want to kick your morning up a knotch from the standard espresso, they have Irish coffees, Bloody Mary’s and Spiced Russians. This place knows how to do it right!
Savannah M — Google review
Had a friend recommend this place and it did NOT disappoint! Walking in I was welcomed with the most charming patio and cozy vibe indoor. Every single staff member was chatty, happy and seemed in great spirits! We sat and maybe waited for what felt like five minutes and then our food came out. As if it couldn’t get any better the food and latte knocked it out of the park! 10/10 recommend! You can feel the love that goes into this place! We will be back!
Lauren T — Google review
Stopped in for dinner, got the pork chop fritter, the Yukon gold potatoes were amazing. The server was stretched pretty thin but did great. The vibe is eclectic, prices are reasonable. Beautiful outdoor patio for nice weather.
Trypp A — Google review
The food and coffee were good, felt like the portions were generous. You walk up at the front to order and then sit down, so we didn't have a server checking in. We were sat in the back by the window and unfortunately we were being swarmed by flies. It was even hard to shoo the flies away, flies got in my food and my husband had to pick some out because they were so stubborn and everywhere. Definitely an appetite-killer. Due to the lack of service, we let staff know afterwards, I don't know if anything was done.
Louise G — Google review
Their eggs flourentine is the best I've ever had. It was very savory, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere & service was also very nice. We had to come back a second time before the end of our trip because we loved it.
KrDizzy — Google review
This beautiful hidden little gem is absolutely a must go-to. Its bot as little as it appears though. Its so big and so much to see when you walk through the garden entry. And rustic in such a pretty way. The portions on the food, WOW!!!!!!! I have to go back and explore more!

Breakfast restaurant
Boots Bakery & Lounge is a vibrant and funky vegan eatery located in the historic Longbotham building. Founded by Alison Collins in 2012, this eclectic spot offers a variety of premade vegan and gluten-free dishes, baked goods, espresso drinks, and handcrafted cocktails. The cafe's beautiful space features exposed brick walls, lofty ceilings, and local artwork, creating a lively atmosphere for guests to enjoy.
I don't have any dietary restrictions, this food is just really good. The vegan scramble I ate at boots was better than any egg and cheese scramble I've ever had, and the gluten free ginger cookie had an amazing crisp chewy texture and spicy sweet flavor, and the brownie with the boozy sauce is incredible, and the service there is always excellent, helpful and considerate
Briana B — Google review
The kindest humans, the most delicious pumpkin waffles, and the hippest spot in downtown. Don't walk, run to Boots. They have a little something for everyone but everything is plant-based. I've been for brunch and had their famous pumpkin waffles with chai butter (just do it) and tofu scramble, for lunch for a smattering of sides, and snagged several dessert from pastries to cookies to cakes! Again, they do it all and more importantly, they do it well. They're located in the Saranac Commons so you can also support the brewery, pizzeria and coffee shop located within the same food hall while you're there. And if you're lucky, there will be dogs - or bring your own!

What a find. I love this place. The food was unique an incredibly delicious. The owner was friendly and a great soul. If I lived here this would be my go-to breakfast spot.

This place is an absolute gem! It’s rare when the vibe, food, and service are all perfect. The triple threat 😎 The service was nothing short of AMAZING—Jess went above and beyond and truly treated us like royalty. She was so knowledgeable and gave fantastic recommendations for food combinations that worked perfectly together. The menu is a dream come true: 100% gluten-free, vegan, and absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. It’s rare to find a place that caters so thoughtfully to dietary needs without ever compromising on taste. Jess made the experience unforgettable—warm, welcoming, and attentive. As we kept saying all evening, “Jess is the best!” 🥰

Amazing place!! Cute environment. The team was very nice about verifying ingredients for my long list of allergies! They went over my questions and verified in a book. All gluten free and vegan!

Friendly staff and owner. Owner was super attentive to her customers experience and satisfaction. I tried their hash mix side you must try. It was gone before I was able to capture a picture. I tried their famous pumpkin pancake. Delicious… it’s sweet but has a nice cinnamon spice to it.

Amazing selection and service. Great tasting alt foods for those of us with food sensitivity. Delicious croquette! It’s the first thing I mowed down when I got back to my car!! 😁 The ginger cookie is next… with the above average coffee.
Kevin T — Google review
What a place!!!! Truly a vegan paradise! It starts with the most friendly and delightful staff that are ready to answer questions about the plethora of items they have in their menu. We ordered the banana buckwheat pancakes and they are so good and very generous servings. Also we had Mac n cheese, potato croquette and biscuits and gravy and they were nothing but scrumptious. Definitely we found our favorite place in Spokane!!!

miFLAVOUR Modern French Bakery is a contemporary bakery in Spokane, known for its high-end, scratch-made cakes and cookies. While they are still searching for a permanent storefront, the bakery has been taking orders through their website since January. Using local and organic ingredients whenever possible, miFLAVOUR creates unique pastries that have made them a beloved part of the Spokane community.
A Dessert Lover’s Dream – Passion Fruit Perfection and French-Inspired Craftsmanship Mi Flavour is hands down one of the best dessert spots I’ve visited—a true gem in Spokane that showcases artistry, flavor, and hospitality in every bite. I fell head over heels for their Passion Fruit Tart, which hit every note I was hoping for: ultra-creamy texture, a vibrant golden-yellow hue, and that just-right tartness you dream of in a passion fruit dessert. The crisp outer crust added a satisfying contrast, while the lightly charred cream topping brought an elegant, brûléed finish. It paired beautifully with black tea, though I imagine it would be just as stunning with a good cup of coffee. Another standout was the Pistachio Rose Bergamot Cake, which had a unique flavor profile. While it wasn’t as memorable on its own for me as the tart, it melted beautifully when paired with hot tea, especially in small, delicate bites. The presentation was also worth noting—gorgeously decorated, making every dessert as visually appealing as it was delicious. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to ask about my flavor preferences and explain how each dessert would taste or differ—something I rarely experience at this level of attentiveness. The seating is somewhat limited, so during peak weekend hours, you might have to wait outside. But trust me—it’s worth it. It’s no surprise Mi Flavour holds a stellar 4.7-star rating, and it more than lives up to its reputation. What impressed me most was their commitment to making everything from scratch—a rarity these days—and the fact that their production quality rivals, if not exceeds, conventional methods. From their French-inspired desserts to the lovely bacon pastries, everything reflects care, precision, and true culinary passion. If you’re in Spokane and love thoughtfully crafted desserts, Mi Flavour is a must-visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back—and next time, I’m bringing friends.

Their fancy croissants are so good. I love the Raspberry one.their Macaroons are also very delicious! Bought a viral fruit dessert and it was 7/10… the orange one was chocolate mousse with a tart orange filling. Maybe I’ll try the raspberry one next time around.
KaareneRN H — Google review
We were excited to try this out and disappointed in the result. The prices were high for the pastries that weren't that great. The desserts were dry, specially the Huckleberry one. The fully enclosed plastic one was good. Perhaps the reason the Huckleberry pen was dry was it wasn't full encased to avoid air. The Gelato was the crown jewel that we loved the most. That was delicious.
Jason P — Google review
Wonderful cafe, with friendly staff! The croissants are the best in the Spokane area, and they have great coffee! Also, the rest of the dessert are outstanding, with a wonderful variety and made in house (a rare thing nowadays). 5+ stars! Would definitely recommend to everyone. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and calm. A great place to sit down and enjoy a delicious dessert, or to start your day with a coffee and croissant sandwich!

Absolutely obsessed with this bakery! Every single item I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is beautiful, perfect for grabbing a coffee and pastry or picking up a treat for a special occasion. There macarons and newest fruit cakes are out of this world! You can really taste the quality in everything they make. This place is a gem, can’t recommend it enough!

We enjoyed the strawberry dubai cup on 3 different occasions!! It's heaven.today we had the delicious tea flight and raspberry mirror cake.the desserts are beautiful and delicious. Katrina helped us the last few times and she is so sweet and so knowledgeable with the dessert and recommendations. We loved her input.❤️

I went to get the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup from discovering them on their FB page. It was heavenly! They had perfect crunch to their milk chocolate, and it wasn’t overly sweet. Perfect balance with the strawberries. I’ve told all my friends about it. My daughter loves their fruit treats and they’re all so delicious.

Amazing variety of desserts! I got the Dubai chocolate with my mom. The strawberries were bit mushy and I wish they spread the chocolate out better. But we also got the chocolate cake which was amazing.

The Flying Goat is a popular pizza place in Spokane known for its Neapolitan pies and wide selection of beers and wines. The industrial-cool setting features a patio with a fire pit, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious food and drinks. The menu offers unique options like the Meenach meatball sandwich and Roskelley dumplings, in addition to their renowned regional pizzas.
My go to when I'm craving a certain pizza, "The Kiernan" One of my favorite places to hit up in my neighborhood. Low key, friendly atmosphere, delicious artisan crafted pizza. Most menu items are named after the local neighborhood streets. Friendly service, great rotating craft beers! 🍕🍺
Angie E — Google review
Visit: Lunch Special and Wings | Ordered: La Crosse Pizza (olive oil base, chicken sub), small Caesar salad, 6pc Buffalo wings with hot sauce We visited Flying Goat after a glowing recommendation from a friend who described it as the place for pizza and wings in Spokane. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite match the hype. ⸻ 🍕 Pizza – Great Crust, Disappointing Toppings I ordered the La Crosse pizza with an olive oil base and substituted chicken for the Italian sausage. I typically avoid tomato sauce, so I appreciated the menu flexibility. However, the chicken tasted processed, like deli meat, and the sweet peppers overpowered the dish. I ended up scraping most of the toppings off and enjoying the pizza for its olive oil, melted cheese, and surprisingly excellent crust—chewy, flavorful, and easily the highlight. I even dipped the crust in ranch and sprinkled red pepper flakes to give it more punch. ⸻ 🍗 Wings – Dry & Lacking Flavor We also got the 6-piece Buffalo wings, which were lukewarm and noticeably dry. The sauce leaned too heavily on vinegar and lacked depth or richness. The temperature issues didn’t help—they felt like they had been sitting for a while before being served. ⸻ 🥗 Salad – Simple but Serviceable The small salad was fresh and basic. I ended up using the ranch dressing from the salad as a dip for the pizza crust. ⸻ 🌡️ Food Temperature – The Dealbreaker The biggest disappointment was that both the pizza and wings arrived barely warm. For oven-baked pizza, I really value that steamy, fresh-from-the-oven contrast—crusty on the outside, soft and hot inside. That magic was completely missing. ⸻ 🌤️ Service & Ambience – A Silver Lining The service was warm and polite, and we appreciated being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunshine and breeze. It made the meal more enjoyable, even if the food didn’t live up to expectations. ⸻ 💰 Value – Reasonable, But Not Compelling The lunch special (~$13.50) is fair for the portion size. But if you care about ingredient quality and food freshness, this may not hit the mark. ⸻ 🚫 Bottom Line: We wouldn’t return, but if you’re looking for a casual, quick lunch and don’t mind lukewarm food, this might still work for you. Just temper expectations, especially if you’re a foodie or sensitive to ingredient quality like I am.
April L — Google review
Very tasty food, chill vibes and decor , fast service. They are super accommodating with customizing their preset menu choices. Focaccia was good and tasty, d street and Cora varieties of pizza both tasted great. Good quantity, good flavors, recommended for some yummy thin crust pizza if you are in the area. They need ids to sit in the bar seating area and soft copies not working is a bummer though.
Anushka B — Google review
Our little league baseball team decided to choose the flying goat for lunch in between games. The moment we arrived, we were met with rude, argumentative servers, and management who did not like our group being patrons. We simply wanted to sit together and happened to be on the patio. They chastised us for attempting to combine tables, they refused to allow the last family that arrived to join us and kept them inside. Then when a table opened up, they refused to seat them outside because they had been forced to order food inside. After we got all our orders in, the manager came out and said our food had been taken care of but we all were being kicked out. Our entire baseball team. With 2 hours before our next game. We were respectful, and courteous, and they couldn’t handle a large crowd. They were visibly flustered, and wanted to keep tables open “in case” they had customers come in. Didn’t even get to try the food. Horrible service. Horrible for large groups. Rigid and not flexible. Rude, with an air of entitlement. Avoid this establishment until they learn that service is the most important part of owning a restaurant.
Joel K — Google review
Strange name, great pizza. Huge selection of pizza choices with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverage options. Service was excellent and attentive. Kids menu had great choices.

Went out to eat here after seeing how many great reviews this place had and it definitely lived up to the hype. We were in town only for a couple of days and since it was so delicious and a GREAT price we went there for the second night! We shared a pizza, half Waikiki, half Cora. Absolutely AMAZING!! We did like that we could order half pizzas. We also ordered level 3 wings; they weren’t spicy for us but had great flavor. The second night we upped it to level 5. The waitress was kind and told us the kitchen was missing one ingredient for it but they could do level 4 and try to make it as spicy as possible. They came out delicious and it was nice to know they make the sauce from scratch for each order. My husband also enjoyed the Cider. Great flavor, atmosphere, and service.
Stephanie C — Google review
Absolutely amazing pizza. Always my go to for the best CRUST!!! I love the Alice with pep and garden tomatoes. But everything they serve is worthy of notice. Highly recommend you stop by.
Marc B — Google review
There were a bunch of people there it seemed like a long time before we were seen to for ordering. We waited a bit for our food too and it came out a little burnt. We did eat dessert first. Then we had our main entrees and appetizer too. It was good the jalapeno bites were good ( didn't remember the name of them) husband liked the beef stew. I got one piece of beef in mine, and as you can see our sandwiches tasted a bit burnt. I liked my husbands sandwich better than mine flavor profile wise.

Nestled in the vibrant Brownes Addition, Italia Trattoria is a chic and colorful haven for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. This modern eatery boasts an inviting patio that comes alive during warm weekends, making it a perfect spot for brunch. Guests can indulge in delightful dishes like zeppole and explore an array of creative cocktails, from refreshing mimosas to unique concoctions featuring local ingredients.
Italia Trattoria is certainly one of Spokane’s top restaurants. The ambience is simple but elegant, the service is friendly but not over-the-top, and the food is stellar. Plan to pay for the quality - most entrees are around $40 as of Spring 2025. We had the beef carpaccio, the rabbit, the lamb ragu, and the orange cake. All were wonderful, but honestly, the ragu was just a little too powerful and winey for my taste. I think I would go for one of their citrus-forward dishes next time. The Chardonnay was excellent but again, pricey. Excellent anniversary or special occasion spot. Would love to see a slightly more price-accessible and simplified lunch menu someday (similar to brunch).

Every bite from this dinner is still living rent-free in my head. That focaccia? Fluffy perfection. The octopus salad? Bright, refreshing, and full of flavor. The rosé? Summer in a glass. Fabulous service. I love that open-air GarageDoor atmosphere. What I Ordered at Italia Trattoria: • Focaccia Bread 🍞 with olive oil & balsamic • Charred Octopus 🐙 Salad – citrus, fennel, herbs (would 100% order again) • Panzanella Salad 🥗 – heirloom tomatoes, focaccia croutons, shaved parmesan • Gnocchi alla Sorrentina – tender potato gnocchi in rich tomato sauce • Spaghetti 🍝& Meatballs – classic comfort done right • Grilled Lamb Tongue – with tzatziki, heirloom tomato, and olives • Tiramisu – whipped, airy, chocolate-dusted perfection. • La Jolie Fleur Rosé (2022) – light, elegant, and summery • Lucien Albrecht Crémant Rosé – crisp, floral, and beautifully chilled Their menu is a gem for adventurous food lovers — think boar, lamb tongue, and octopus done right. Unexpected cuts, unforgettable flavor.

Italia has been on my list for years but it’s definitely on the more expensive end so I hadn’t gone until last night and wow was it worth it. It’s the cutest spot right in Brownes. We sat on their delightful patio and ended up being the only people out there after the other tables left since we had a later reservation. We got the seared octopus, braised rabbit with goat cheese ravioli and carrot butter sauce, and rack of lamb with goat cheese stuffed tomatoes and garlic cream sauce. Everything was superb. And though I’m used to fine dining places giving you less and charging more, the portions were actually quite substantial. Our server was kind and attentive (without being TOO attentive). Absolutely fantastic meal.

Some friends and I came here for dinner. We didn't have reservations, but we're able to get seated. Food quality and service were both outstanding. We enjoyed our meals so much we made reservations to come for brunch. This didn't disappoint either. Pastries were fresh and delicious! Word of advice, go early as they sell out fast!

I travel a lot, and because of that, I consider my diet and what I enjoy eating, and that keeps me happy along the road. No, I do not eat at gas stations. I will take the time in my schedule to have a great meal with great vibes, service, and a delicious beverage too! My girl and I are always privy to the steakhouse, but we are open-minded to all food options. Tonight we chose to go Italian, and I had fish in mind. Wow, what a treat, the special this particular evening was Dover Sole.... This is a delicacy and is rare to find. It was prepared with creative care via chef, and I would eat it again. Girlfriend had the chicken piccata, a staple in the Italian menus, which was made to spec. Delicious. Other things that are hard to find are little neighborhoods like this one. As a matter of fact, as I travel with my girl, we look for neighborhoods just like this. This was way too cool. We would consider moving here. (This spot reminds me a little bit of Portland and some of the small restaurant neighborhoods it has, also because of the Italian vibe, it reminds me of Little Italy in Southwest St. Louis) Stopping to eat and enjoy the world around you is the point of these meals. The staff is family, like you were in their own living room. I will definitely be back at this restaurant again, and maybe with a mindset of looking for a house to buy in the neighborhood. Anyone want to be a roommate?

Fantastic food and drinks. In a really cute area. Service was decent, but nothing very personable. The disappointing part is that we came to celebrate our anniversary and made sure to mention it with the reservation, but it was never recognized during our meal. That would've gone a long way toward making it feel more intimate, especially considering the ~$200 bill. But, overall, one of the best restaurants in Spokane if you love Italian food!

Order the bread service, it's such yummy bread! Me and hubs got the squid ink fettuccine and the gnocchi the fettuccine was very good, the gnocchi was a little bland but still good. Dessert we had tiramisu and bread pudding which were both fantastic! Service was great, drinks were good, and prices weren't bad. The only thing we didn't love was how close the tables are but it is a small restaurant so it's understandable.

Madeleine's Cafe & Patisserie is a bustling spot with a blend of Provencal and factory-chic design, offering an array of French pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. The modern and uncluttered interior exudes sophistication while maintaining an approachable atmosphere. The charming Periwinkle stucco exterior with white trim and a welcoming sign invites visitors to step inside.
Very busy place. If you're in a hurry this may not be the place for you. We were in downtown Spokane for a show and by the time we got our food we had to scarf it down very quickly. You stand in line to order and the line was out the door - of course this means it's good. Lots of yummy baked goods, great coffee options, and lots of other choices. We had the reuben which comes with some fried potatoes. They were very tasty. Would go here again when not in a time crunch. I highly recommend trying it! Folks working were all very friendly and helpful.

It’s just too sweet—I feel like I need an insulin shot after one bite (just kidding)! But the environment, service, and atmosphere are great. Maybe the item I ordered was just a bit too sweet for my taste.

Not bad but not great. We arrived at 10am, a long line with slow service. The bakery items did not taste very fresh, the Almond croissant was rock hard. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs

We arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a weekday. It was a warm sunny day, so we sat outside. I ordered the Fresh Apricot Crepes, a special offerred that day. They were delicious! I also ordered a latte and a Madeline cookie. Yum! Everything was good and I do recommend this place for a delicious lunch. The outdoor seating is cheery and quaint. It really is the perfect place for a long conversation with a good friend. Restrooms were easily accessible and clean.

Madeleine's Cafe & Patisserie is not a far cry from a French bistro but is very close with quality and decor. Pastries are incredible. Coffee is tasty, not burnt. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Highly recommend the quiche and side pasta and any of their melt in your mouth buttery croissants.

They have elite pastries and some really great breakfast. The Coffee strong. The service was very friendly. It's a great place for a quick sit-down bite. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a necessary stop for mouth watering pastries! The croissants were so flaky and buttery. Macrons, extremely flavorful. Cinnamon rolls, gargantuan! Breakfast potatoes, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. And let’s not forget the coffee! Don’t hesitate to add Madeline’s Cafe & Patisserie to your must taste travel list!!

Interesting location to try new things. I wouldn't call them "French" as the dishes are Americanized. More like fusion cuisine even. The dish I tried had Korean, Argentinian, and Southern influences and nothing French; not even the fries (good try but way too oily for my taste). They were out of croissants (I'll try next time) and drip coffee.

The restaurant has gained popularity for its high-quality salads that incorporate fresh ingredients to create flavorful options like the pear and roasted beet salad or the orange chicken salad with spiced cashews.
We had a great time celebrating my friend's babyshower here. It was just dinner no presents at this spot but the esthetic is good and relaxing. The food is decent, not the best ever but decent. They have good non-alcoholic options for drinks as well

We love Twigs. The food always hits the spot, and the blood orange martini is a must. Thank you, Twigs, for another memorable meal. We enjoy every part of visiting one of your restaurants and look forward to our next visit.

Such a great place! Went there for date night and it was perfect. I had also tried an espresso martini that was so yummy. Would totally order that again! I had a southern fried chicken salad that was perfect to eat before the popcorn and slurpee at the movies afterwards. The salad was so tasty that I at everything on my plate. Looking forward to going back!

What a terrific place to spend a lazy afternoon on your day off! particularly to relax before going to catch your movie in the theater just a single escalator level ride up. A few weeks ago, I caught a 1:45pm matinee, but I stopped at this particular Twigs location (evidently there's another one in the city, I saw next to my fav sushi spot in town, Izumi, and one in the valley). I really enjoyed myself even though it was near empty due to time of day, just a few other diners in this HUGE space. But I can tell with the colorful effects, chic yet unobtrusively understated decor, water and fire features, larger crowds and music this place must have such a VIBE in the later evening hours! On my particular visit I had The Chocolate Kiss and the Honeysuckle Lemon Drop cocktails, a classic "Dirty" Martini w/Bleu cheese stuffed olives and Bacon Grilled Brussel Sprouts topped with a fried egg and an AMAZING vinaigrette type of sauce. Incredible!🔥
Rashea L — Google review
Other Twigs locations are fantastic. This mall location is not as great on food or atmosphere. When we went, they were only seating on the balcony, which was pretty noisy, being above a main entrance. Otherwise, an excellent experience! We'll make the extra drive to go to the Northside or Valley location in the future.

We went for my sister’s 30th birthday celebration and our server was great! She was very attentive and fun! Food came out and everyone had a great meal in our party of 6. Server was kind enough to offer us plates and a knife to cut the fun cake we had brought to celebrate with.

What a gem. We really enjoyed our visit. We were quickly seated and served. Our waitress Hannah made a great suggestion to have the bruschetta, which was lovely. Then answered our questions and made suggestions for our mains. Food arrived hot and delicious of course. We had no concerns over cleanliness, tables were quickly cleared around us, and our drinks were refilled as needed
V — Google review
Came here on a busy Valentine's day night with hubby and kids and was glad that Twigs allowed us to make reservations so we didn't have to wait too long to be seated which we greatly appreciated. Food was good, some entrees were a little overprice for my liking and wish my salmon portions were a little bit bigger than what was served. Calamari rings were okay although not my favorite. Overall dining experience, I will give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Yards Bruncheon is a popular daytime eatery located in Kendall Yards, Spokane. The airy, retro-themed space on Summit Parkway offers clever breakfast plates and sandwiches. It's a great spot for out-of-towners to grab breakfast before taking a walk along the beautiful Spokane River on the Centennial Trail. The restaurant's interior features black-and-white tiled floors, aquamarine-colored walls, and mid-century modern-inspired furniture.
The Yard Bruncheon is a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch in Kendall Yards. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a delightful meal. I started with their toasted banana bread, which was the perfect blend of sweet and savory—a wonderful way to kick off the meal. The eggs Benedict were absolutely delicious, with perfectly poached eggs and a creamy hollandaise sauce that elevated the dish. Their hot chocolate was a standout as well, rich and indulgent, making it an ideal pairing for a chilly morning. The service was impressively fast and attentive, ensuring everything arrived promptly and as expected. The restaurant truly feels like a gem in the neighborhood, offering a welcoming ambiance and exceptional food. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Yard Bruncheon is a must-visit destination. I’m thrilled to see this great addition to Kendall Yards and can’t wait to return!

Amazing brunch experience. Was recommended this place by a friend, since we are from out of town. Customer service was very welcoming, and the food was spectacular. Wish I could have bought some of the in house jam, cause it was so fresh and exciting with flavor. Love goes into the food here. Also thank you to our server Sarah, you 6 years of experience definitely made our experience dining in amazing. Get the Shirmp and Grits and full breakfast, it won't disappoint. Will be back again!!

The menu had tempting descriptions so it was too hard to choose, I ordered TWO meals (dutch babies and pancakes) and took most of the second one home with us. My son said his food was great as well. There is definitely a 50s diner feel to the place, which we liked. The only less-than-complimentary comment I have is that it is always hard for us to find parking in Kendall Yards.

Friendly spot on Kendall Yards! I had the eggs Benedict which was decent. My friend said the chicken and waffles were awesome! Loved the diner vibe and the service was prompt and friendly!

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Our server was SO quiet. I felt bad having to keep saying, “I’m sorry, what was that?” We were also brought dirty water cups with coffee grounds in the bottom of them. No big deal, they took them back and gave us new water. The chai tea was pretty flavorless. Only “chai flavor” came from the cinnamon on top. Kinda disappointing. And the espresso martini (which was brought out in a wine glass, we got a kick out of that!) was the same. Pretty bland and was basically lukewarm. The food was good though! The deviled eggs were nice. The syrup and bacon combined with the eggs were actually pretty good. We tried the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were great! Cooked perfectly. Potatoes were a little lackluster. We also got the Green Goddess Eggs Benedict and substituted the hollandaise sauce for the house gravy and it was really good! The restaurant itself was kind of loud. Hard to have a decent conversation, but overall it was alright. Maybe next time I’ll just order takeout.

Walked in, greeted & Sat at a cute lil clean table for 2. Menus were easy to read & thickly laminated. Waiter Gavin took a little longer to get to us which they were kinda busy, but he was lovely. Knew the menu well. We placed our orders (wife was kinda upset they were out of shrimp of the shrimp 🍤 and grits). Kitchen was prompt and fairly quick to get items out. We enjoyed our experience and will be back...

Your money goes a long way here. Everything is amazing, I’m incredibly impressed by how good the food is and how much effort they put in to make a simple dish better. The yogurt, green goddess Benedict, carrot soup, and avocado toast were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and service was perfect. The chefs also clearly know what they’re doing. The shop offers a variety of creative cake designs perfect for special occasions like Valentine's Day, including a cactus cake and gnome cake. Founded by the mother-daughter duo Sally and Jessica Winfrey in 2011, this family-owned bakery has become a go-to destination for bespoke wedding cakes and delightful confections.
Oh man am I soooo late but better late than never right? And it’s so worth the review because my cake was raved over. I was promoted back in November and didn’t want a typical cake so a friend recommended a cake from here as her husband bought one previously for her birthday. They got every detail perfect, and the flavors were rich. I can’t remember the flavors I got but I do know I enjoyed them all🤷🏻‍♀️I think it was reasonably priced for the craftsmanship of the cake. What I thought might be small ended up feeding 20+ people and we gave generous slices. I was beyond pleased and when they realized they didn’t give me military discount (I understand it’s not obligatory, they mentioned it not me) they gave me free cupcakes which was appreciated and soon after scoffed down. Thank you for my beautiful, raved over, delicious cake.
Savi — Google review
Their cupcakes are always delicious and getting a free one on my birthday was a special treat. I got a Banana Split cupcake and it was wonderful. Creamy frosting, delicious filling, excellent cake (banana bread, maybe, or at least it tasted like it) and a cherry on top. The person at the counter was sweet and friendly but it was what they did after the shop closed up that has me writing this review. Our car was in danger of overheating just outside. I went to see if I could get a glass of water to pour in it but the doors were locked. As I was leaving, they came to see what I needed and when they heard what was going on they got me an entire pitcher of water. What an amazing person. Thank you. You made my day and my birthday. Your business is wonderful and so are you. I hope you have the best day ever and that lots of great things happen for you.

They absolutely rocked the cupcakes and cookies for our graduation event 2 weeks ago! Everyone was talking about how great it all looked and tasted. More importantly every single person I dealt with was fantastic, from email, phone calls, even in store, it was one amazing helpful and informative experience!

I hadn't been back here in YEARS until today!! The staff were sweet and so were the cupcakes! The shop was so aesthetically put together and absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that my tea was scorching hot for about half an hour and once I was able to taste it, it was super bitter and didn't have raspberry in it like I'd requested, but that won't stop me from coming back!
Moon S — Google review
Oops! This place probably has great cupcakes and desserts, but I wanted a hot americano (pretty simple, right). And, well, the first one was lukewarm-cold, hmm. So, I let them know, and they happily remade it. I asked for plenty of room, because I like LIKE espresso/coffee taste, but … well, it was hot the second time, but it tasted kind of like just hot water with barely a hint of coffee. No crema (that thin brownish foam on top of an espresso shot and usually an americano), no bold flavor, tasted kind of like an instant coffee. The servers were so delightful, I didn’t have the heart to have them make it a third time, so I just drank it.
John G — Google review
I called Sweet Frosting to order a cake and cupcakes for my wedding. We were very happy with the food and service. There was some confusion at first as I live far and could not do the tasting, but it was quickly and professionally cleared up. I was in constant email communication with Piper and she helped us pick out what style we want with pictures, which was very helpful. It was straightforward even when changing our order. The did have Gluten Free options which my guest loved. They delivered to the venue on time and there were no issues. I would recommend Sweet Frosting Blissful Bakeshop.

Sweet Frostings Blissful Bakeshop is an absolute gem, and a true delight for anyone with a sweet tooth. From the moment you step inside, the charming aroma of fresh-baked goods and the warm, inviting atmosphere make you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that instantly lifts your spirits. The quality of their treats is simply outstanding. The cupcakes are moist and fluffy, topped with the most divine, perfectly balanced frosting I have ever tasted. The variety of flavors, from classic red velvet to more unique seasonal creations, ensures there's something for everyone. I've also had the pleasure of trying their pastries and custom cakes, and they are consistently fresh, beautifully decorated, and incredibly delicious. What truly sets Sweet Frostings apart is their wonderful staff. Every person I’ve interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. This was my first time trying Hello Sugar, and I honestly was underwhelmed by the lack of customer service. Was there 2-3 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and asked what I needed. I placed my order and waited another 10 minutes while the person who does the donuts "finished up" labeling the ice cream case. Apparently the "coffee person" only does drinks and takes orders, as she just stood behid the counter doing nothing. Donuts were okay, but nothing special for the price.
Shawn L — Google review
A cute shop. The atmosphere is fun and colorful. I’ve came in and ordered a few times. Each and everytime was a completely different experience. The “new” girl working the counter needs an exponential amount of more training, she’s clueless and I can tell she gets on her coworkers nerves. She needs more customer service training, more shop knowledge, and just a better attitude all together. She gives the impression of the owners daughter that can’t get fired. Lol The couple of times I went in and the girls “kind of” knew what they were doing were the best, my donuts and drinks came out how they are advertised. They are cooked and made to order; so it does take time that they don’t care to tell you about (about 10-30mins). I’ve order the same type of drink and it came out looking and tasted differently every visit. I’ve paid for various sizes and received the drink in the same cup. Overall, the food IS delicious but there is zero consistency between visits. Most were disappointing, knowing the capabilities that this shop has. The complaints are within the customer service and management, NOT the potential product that they could provide. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. :)

Very friendly staff, was very busy and there were only 2 gals working but they worked hard to make sure everyone got excellent service. The Grain Shed is a unique spot that offers a variety of delicious bread, pastries, and even pizza on Mondays. What sets this place apart is its focus on wheat, an often overlooked ingredient. A must when you're in Spokane! Great food--never had something I didn't like or at least appreciate. I have a gluten sensitivity/allergy and it RARELY acts up here. Their bread is phenomenal, so fresh. Faves: Nelson cookie, chocolate croissant, any loaf of bread, avocado toast, turkey on turkey sandwhich.

OMG. I tried the oat sandwich bread and the red wheat bread — both were amazing. But the absolute star of the show (besides the fantastic service) was the kouign amann. So many bakeries miss the mark with this pastry — it’s often too greasy or too buttery — but this one was perfect. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Also want to shout out the woman working the counter this morning (around 9am) — it was my first visit and she took the time to explain all the breads and treats, which made the whole experience even better. I also got the avocado toast (I forget exactly what spread was under it, but it had a spicy kick and was incredible). I wish I could have stayed longer. What a gem!

Alright, so here’s the deal. I get the granola here all the time. Like, it’s become a thing. My partner and I wake up, eat it together before walking the dogs, and I swear it’s one of those small, perfect morning rituals that makes life feel good. I don’t know what they put in it, maybe love, maybe magic, but it’s seriously the best granola I’ve ever had. Crunchy, balanced, not too sweet, not too hipster. Just right. Then there’s the veggie sandwich. I think they call it the OG or something like that. It’s ridiculous how good it is. I’ve actually tried to recreate it at home, which went terribly, and I gave up halfway through. And it’s not even like I need to save money doing it myself. The price here is kind of genius. It’s that rare combination where you’re like, “Yeah, that’s worth it.” You feel good spending money here because you can tell it’s going to people who care. Now let’s talk about the staff. What’s up with these people? Where do they find them? Everyone’s so nice and happy it almost feels suspicious. They’ve either discovered the secret to human joy or they’re getting paid better than anyone else in the service industry. Either way, it’s working. The place has this warm, family vibe where everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, which, let’s be honest, is rare these days. On weekends, you sometimes see kids running around helping out, and I’m just assuming they’re the owners’ kids. Otherwise, there’s a whole child labor situation happening, kidding obviously. But really, it adds to the charm. It feels like a real community space where everyone pitches in. And let’s not forget pizza night. Pizza night has saved my life more than once. It’s one of those things you look forward to after a long week. You walk in, you see familiar faces, smell that wood-fired magic, and suddenly the world makes sense again. All in all, Grand grain Shed is one of those rare places that just feels good. The food’s incredible, the energy is right, and the people are real. It’s the kind of place you brag to your friends about but also secretly don’t want to get too popular because you still want a seat. Seriously, five stars, maybe six if they ever start selling that granola by the bucket.

With seven locations spread throughout the city, it offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Whether you're on the go with a morning coffee and pastry, catching up with friends over lunch, or settling down to work or study, Rocket Bakery has you covered.
There are so many bakeries and coffee shops out there—but this one is one in a million. From the second we walked in, the barista (Christine) greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly. It felt almost like meeting an old friend who was really excited to see you again. There are tons of fresh baked goods the owners make themselves (wow!) and the coffee is roasted by the owners too. There’s also tons of seating. We got bagels and Christine whipped them up quickly for us, while simultaneously taking care of other customers’ orders and greeting people in line and taking their orders. We were there for an hour and the place was hopping. She was so cheerful and caring towards each customer that came in—even the rude and demanding ones (which isn’t easy!). This is a great place with good coffee and plenty of delicious baked goods—but experiencing this outstanding customer service makes it shine above all the others. We’d love to stop by again next time we’re out here! Christine, you should win an award for most cheerful barista in Washington state!

What a fantastic bakery! Not only was the lady absolutely precious, the coffee and food was scrumptious! I travel a lot with my family and we are always on the hunt for excellent coffee shops with homemade treats and as y’all know it can sometimes be hit or miss but this morning was a HIT!! This was such a treat and was such a great experience! Mainly because of how lovely the lady was and how sweet and chipper she was early in the morning but to top it off the coffee and food was fantastic! I highly recommend and would go back yesterday if I could! ;)

The food is so so, the wait to be served is seriously awful. While I was waiting over 20 minutes to give my order this morning the guy ahead of me gave up and left. The food just isn't really my cup of tea, but the lemon tart was truly awesome. I ordered a slice of lemon tart, a frittata and a mocha drink. The tart came up right away, the fritatta was about 5-7 minutes later, and the drink was also some amount of time. I felt like my entire visit was watching for the separate pieces of my order to appear on the counter top.

Right idea, terrible execution. Great service but, bagel was mealy and flaccid (they were out of cream cheese). Chorizo breakfast wrap was without chorizo, it was just flat squash. No flavor. Espresso was stale and 16oz iced coffee was 2oz of bad coffee and a cup full of ice. Service was good and the place did not feel rushed, but both the food and the coffee were just terrible.

Great local coffee shop and bakery. The food offerings have great eye appeal and equally delicious flavors. They serve their own roaated coffee that is great im any drink. The staff is always hustling. They get your order right and serve it with gratitude that you're a customer.

This is a fantastic coffee shop with a a great bakery - or a fantastic bakery with a great coffee shop - either way, if you’re looking for a sure thing, stop here. We stopped here on our way to Glacier National and it was such a great experience. The staff was so cheerful and competent and they made our morning. Great staff, fantastic food, amazing coffee, and a great indoor location = AMAZING. This formula is so hard to find these days. Well done Rocket Bakery!! 🚀🚀🚀🚀

Delightful place. My peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was wonderful, and I wanted to try everything in the case, as it all looked spectacular. Our beverages were super, as well.

Located in Spokane, Washington, House of Brunch is a top spot for breakfast and brunch. With a diverse menu and high-quality dishes, this place has received rave reviews from visitors. The steak and eggs are particularly recommended for their perfect cooking and seasoning. The portions vary in size, with options like the lobster eggs Benedict being quite generous. Guests have also praised the delicious coffee and mimosas served here.
The whole place is a vibe. The inside was a little bit crowded and overstimulating to me so Gabby D. our waitress allowed us to move onto the patio. It made for a great experience. The weather was beautiful. The food was delicious. The crab cake Benedict is the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress Gaby was fantastic. I will definitely be eating here again!

The coffee was excellent! The food tastes as good as it looks! Very unexpected. A+ for presentation. I got to meet the owner Jackson and hear a bit of his story. I am very satisfied and happy with this place. highly recommended if you’re in town!

We don't often visit Spokane, as we live in the greater Puget Sound area, but brunch at House of Brunch was delightful filling and a feast for the eyes as well. We made a reservation, which proved to be beneficial, and although we showed up a bit early, we were promptly seated. We ordered two espresso drinks; the Cure, a matcha based beverage (not actually espresso), and the Forager, a white coffee and 24K gold based beverage. I chose the Cure, and while the matcha flavor was not as strong as what I am personally used to, our server, Becky, remedied that by bringing me a bit more, even tempering it so that my beverage stayed hot. The Forager was delicious as well and we have no notes. 😆 We ordered the Mushroom Tartine, toast with a medley of sautéed mushrooms and pickled chillies, and the Nordic Breakfast which, from time spent in Finland, was incredibly accurate! We felt that the prices were reasonable, and they had a good amount of vegetarian and vegan options that were actually inspired and not just afterthoughts. 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 Service was great (Becky was truly wonderful), every diner seemed genuinely happy to be there, and they were only getting busier as we left. All good signs for us to come back again!

Recommend for brunch. We loved the coffee service experience. Drip cold brew is a huge win! We both enjoyed our meal. We split oysters to start. Our only feedback is that the lemon overpowered them so maybe take that off if you love a good oyster like we do. The mignonette was good! My husband got the chicken and waffles and i got the lobster benny. We would both say 7.5/10. Solid and good
Jenny V — Google review
I'd love to give the full five stars, unfortunately $20 for a single crepe...when the chicken and waffles is the same price is unbelievable!... The service was great! The food was tasty! The cost for the quantity does not make sense and is rather upsetting. Although I did not order coffee, I was very impressed by the espresso orders. Such patience and care went into each drink I saw!

Popped into this brunch spot and overall had a good experience. I went with the classic avocado toast topped with a poached egg instead of pickled egg— fresh ingredients, perfectly runny yolk, and solid flavor all around. The presentation was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed, with friendly staff. That said, it felt a tad overpriced for something so simple as brunch. Still, if you're in the mood for a no-fuss brunch with quality ingredients, it's worth a visit — just maybe not every day.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you haven’t met Chad at House of Brunch, then you haven’t truly lived. This man is the brunch whisperer, the omelet overlord, the mimosa magician—and did I mention he’s also really cute? Honestly, the biggest challenge here isn’t deciding what to order, it’s maintaining eye contact while pretending you’re not swooning over the guy bringing you coffee. The menu? A brunch fantasy. Waffles so good they should come with a warning label, and eggs so fluffy I was tempted to check if they were filled with helium. Bonus points: they’ve got plenty of gluten-free options, so everyone can join in the brunch madness without feeling left out. And let’s not forget the cocktails. These aren’t your sad little screwdrivers or watery mimosas—these are brunch-level masterpieces. Each one looks like it belongs on a magazine cover and hits like a gentle reminder that life is, in fact, beautiful. Atmosphere? Picture your coolest aunt’s kitchen, but with better lighting and way more avocado toast. Pro tip: If Chad recommends something, just nod, smile, and say “yes, chef.” Don’t question it. This is how brunch legends are made. House of Brunch isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a lifestyle. A mimosa-soaked, Chad-powered (and yes, very cute) lifestyle.
Tedd T — Google review
I’m giving this place one star because the service and food quality have really gone downhill. A month ago I paid $68 for three people — this time it was $100, plus an automatic 20% tip I didn’t agree to. I asked for the steak with egg and no mushrooms (they’ve done it before, and it’s even shown in reviews), but our waitress refused and said they only serve it with mushrooms. Same with the steak doneness — last time they made it exactly how I wanted, this time she said, “we only do it one way.” The steak came out raw, completely undercooked. Prices up, poor service, and no flexibility — not coming back.

Wild Sage Bistro is a renowned comfort-food specialist in Spokane, WA, known for its refined dining room and creative cocktails. With over 16 years of experience, it has established itself as a go-to destination for exquisite food, service, and drinks. The menu features locally sourced ingredients and includes popular dishes like Yukon taquitos and the Bucket List Burger. The restaurant's romantic atmosphere and award-winning status make it a top choice for special occasions or casual visits after work or events.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. We've eaten at many of Spokane’s top dining establishments The Davenport’s Palm Court Grill, The Osprey, Clinkerdagger, Churchill’s Steakhouse, and Masselow’s at Northern Quest. Each has its moments of brilliance, but Wild Sage doesn’t just stand out it leads the pack. From the moment we sat down, every dish was a masterclass in flavor, balance, and execution. The food wasn’t just good it was spectacular. Rich in creativity, yet rooted in comfort, each plate felt like a story the chef was telling, and we were lucky enough to listen with our taste buds. The chef who created this menu, and the entire kitchen staff behind it, deserve Michelin stars. Their attention to detail, ingredient selection, and flawless technique were evident in every bite. The flavors were bold but refined, familiar but inventive and honestly, we found ourselves saying multiple times, “This is better than any meal we’ve had in Spokane — ever.” Wild Sage is officially our new gold standard. If you think you’ve experienced the best of Spokane cuisine, go here — and prepare to be humbled.

This was my favorite restaurant during my visit to Spokane. The food was delicious and the service was great. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was great and so helpful. I ordered the pork tenderloin and it was incredible. There was so much flavor and I was so glad I got it. My colleague got the bucatini and said it was really good as well. They also brought out some bread with the most delicious sweet butter. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely go back.

Tonight was our third visit to Wild Sage and what we’ve found is that this restaurant NEVER disappoints! We tried their tácitos and now we see why people rave about this appetizer. It’s the perfect blend of crunch, spice and creamy avocado! We love their bacon and blue cheese salad and have gotten this every time we’ve eaten there. There’s something very satisfying about this flavor combination that has us committed to repeating it with each visit. Their light popovers with lavender honey butter are divine and are bordering on an addiction for us both. We tried the bouillabaisse and agreed that the rich, savory sauce pulled all of the flavors together and made it a winner! We ended our meal with their signature coconut cake that, I’m convinced, could solve the world’s problems—oh my, is that heavenly! Our hostess tonight was Sophie (a friendly, bubbly girl who welcomed us and made us comfortable from the start), our server was Mike (knew the menu very well and was able to make some great recommendations for us, he timed the delivery of each dish perfectly so that we weren’t left waiting for the next course), our cook was Logan (very talented chef who made every flavor pop!) and we even met the owner, Garth, tonight. He’s a great, down-to-earth guy who has formed a fabulous team that performs together like clockwork. We had an excellent meal and an enjoyable evening! We’ll be back soon because we love this place!

Wild Sage Bistro is pure love from the first bite! The food is insanely delicious, every dish feels like a mini masterpiece, and the presentation? You’re eating with your eyes first! Everything is plated with so much care, like proper fine-dining vibes. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, perfect for a chill dinner. And thank God, the windows are covered — no need to see the “horrors” of downtown Spokane! 😂🤪 Inside, it’s gorgeous, stylish, and just feels special. I’m definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone — a must-visit in Spokane!

We had an awesome anniversary dinner here. First time trying it and we were really impressed with everything. Our server Sean was wonderful and attentive. He made great recommendations and we loved everything that we tried. They have mocktails and non-alcoholic beer which was a plus for us because we don't drink. We tried the taquitos and while we are not vegetarian, it was really nice you have options without meat. We loved them. The flavor was awesome. We got the lemon chicken which was really unique and had great flavor. The veggies were so fresh you could tell they were like same day picked most likely. My husband got the flank steak and he loved it. It came with potatoes and they were cooked perfectly and awesome. We got the coconut cake for dessert as well as the chocolate macaroon vegan ice cream. It was very cool to find out that most of the items are gluten free. My husband said it was the best ice cream he has ever had. We ate upstairs and the area was kind of tight but it was still very enjoyable. We were frequently checked on. E salads were awesome and we also loved the rolls. They gave us little chocolates for our anniversary which was very appreciative and they were very tasty. The only negatives I have are the area is a little sketchy and we chose to walk there from our hotel. I would not recommend walking in the area. And the only negative I could find in the food was that my parmesan polenta was a little colder than the other items on my plate. I feel like it was maybe plated first or something but it definitely had great flavor was, just a little cold. I was impressed and would love to try this place again.

Wild Sage was amazing, we sat at the bar to grab some quick cocktails and apps before heading downtown and ended up having a great experience. Alex at the bar had some great recommendations for us, the Taquitos were out of this world! The kilt lifter and the H.F. Bean Old Fashioned were both great. The real star of the show however was her custom taken on an espresso martini which I want to name Arabesque Aurora. It. Was. Amazing! Definitely make your way here and treat yourself. 10/10 will be going back.

Ate in the cafe diner part. Only problem was the ice tea was not quite right. But a cheesesteak was really good, the patty melt was amazing and super large pancakes. This is diner food. You can feel the history in the room on the tables on the floor or it may have been grease. Server was fantastic. Just very welcoming and enjoyable.

Service was fast and friendly, food was good. I tried the lasagna soup and a Reuben sandwich. My wife got the club with fries. I thought the soup was great and the Reuben was decent. It needed more thousand island dressing, but I was able to ask for more. My wife said her club “hit the spot.” Definitely will come back when we are in town and are looking for a late night dinner.

We love this place. The coffee is delicious and the service is always good, the food was fresh and well prepared. There was just one thing that was disappointing. The vegetarian scramble had bacon in it. Most people who order vegetarian do so for a purpose of having no meat, and some because they don’t eat pork, which happens to be in most breakfast food. Needless to say we didn’t eat the food beyond the discovery and we aren’t drama so we didn’t mention this to the wait staff. Most importantly, we want to bring awareness, so hopefully this is paid better attention to.

We decided to try this place for breakfast after reading reviews and talking with locals. Wowza! They didn't disappoint! The service was phenomenal! Our guy was so friendly, we bantered back and forth, he just was awesome. The food was stellar! Big portions! Flavor was on point. We travel quite a bit to Spokane for work. A NEW FAVORITE!!! How can you NOT be swept off your feet by a diner that continually plays 90's pop classics in the ultimate Americana atmosphere with the COOLEST staff serving all those "bad" things we "shouldn't" eat that will piss off the "avocado toast" and "hummus"-eating crowd? Lol. I love this place! So glad I found it! Great for early morning after the bar OR after waking up. I ordered German sausage on the side and the "Hot Mess" which was hash browns with eggs over easy, bacon, mushrooms and fried onions with gravy...Soooo Gooood!! I had the Prickly Pear "MEGAmosa" as my drink.

We love the food here. Nothing has been bad. We've been more than a dozen times. Today our server was a man who was on point and excellent. Everything is quick, family friendly, generous portions. We rated a 4 instead of 5 as my family and friends have experienced a server that works on weekends that is less than friendly and makes us feel like she doesn't want to be there but we have gotten her several times and it always puts everyone off. . Our experience is less than when she is our server when it happens but the food is always wonderful no matter what. Atmosphere is always busy and prepare to wait but it's worth it! ❤️ Ableskiebers are always a hit!

This was our first dining experience here. The food was absolutely delicious! My daughter got the Belgian waffle with bananas, my husband got the country fried steak, the gravy was delicious and his eggs were cooked perfectly (he's very picky about his eggs), and I got the traditional goulash which was to die for. We had an excellent dinner here! We had an early dinner reservation where we were greeted, sat, and had recommendations for drinks within minutes. Our wait person was awesome and had fantastic recommendations for our meal, and spaced out each course nicely so there was no rush but also no waiting. The food itself was incredible, everything perfectly done. It was a nice leisurely evening with lovely ambience. The only negative issue I can think of was the parking. It is a small lot and we were fine on arrival, however it was really difficult to get out because someone parked behind us and three other cars were trying to snag our spot. A slight trouble which is worth the service and food!

Id love to come back and eat here again!

We visited Italian Kitchen Restaurant for the first time for a date night and it exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a perfect evening. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, and gave us some great recommendations. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The calamari was easily the star appetizer, perfectly crispy and flavorful—10/10. The warm bread served with oil and vinegar was such a nostalgic touch, instantly bringing back memories of my grandma’s kitchen. For our main course, the pasta dishes were cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and prepared with care. We finished the meal with the Godfather dessert, which was rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending. This place is an absolute gem! We can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend for date nights, family dinners, or any occasion where you want authentic Italian food in a warm and welcoming setting.

I picked the Italian Kitchen restaurant for my birthday dinner last night and it exceeded all expectations. The food was very delicious. We started with the meatballs, which we knew immediately we wanted to try. I then had the lasagna and my fiancé chose the spicy gnocchi. We couldn’t finish our meals as the portion sizes were equally balanced for the prices, but we had to bring our leftovers home as it was too good to leave behind. Our waiter Brian was very polite and you could tell he was happy to be there as he joked with us and provided excellent service and wine suggestions, always speaking with pride about the food the restaurant provided. When we couldn’t find the room for more, he brought out a complimentary birthday dessert to end our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was just lovely. It provided the family and culture vibes as well as a sweet romance feel for our date. We will most definitely be celebrating more at this beautiful eatery.

We came for my birthday today and arrived not long after they opened (and the week of Valentine's day) so we were the only customers. The service was impeccable. The drinks were insanely good. The food was out of this world. My husband has literally had spaghetti with red sauce and an italian sausage 4 times in the last two weeks (Ferarros, takeout Mama Mias, homemade, and Italian Kitchen) and said this was the best spaghetti he had ever had. Brithday done right, we had a great time.

Our foursome loved the decor and the service. However the food was simply not good. 3 of the 4 were very disappointed. The $52 steak Marsala was almost too tough to cut. The Marsala was too strong. An order of clams were smothered in tomato sauce and were very small. It was basically a bowl of shells in red sauce. Word must be out because on a beautiful summer evening, this beautiful space was less than half full.

Their meats are infused with the aromatic flavors of alder, cherry, and birch wood from their smoking pit. With an extensive and delectable menu, this place is a haven for meat lovers. Whether you're looking for a sandwich, buffet, or regular meal, Longhorn Barbecue delivers exceptional quality and value for money.
A fantastic Spokane classic! This bbq joint features homey traditional western decor that makes you feel like you just tied your horse up outside after a long days ride, ready to fill your gullet with some wholesome comfort food by an oil lit lantern table. I got a large portions of tender pulled pork, loaded baked potato that’s filled to the top with your standard fixins’ (I loved that there was big chunks of bacon and herbed butter on it). Zesty & regular bbq sauces to dip the slow smoked ribs, and probably one of the best cornbread muffins I’ve tasted in a long while. Will 100% be back.

I had the absolute pleasure of coming here with some friends for lunch on Saturday 9/27/25. As soon as I walked inside I KNEW we made the right decision for lunch! I lived in Texas for 7 years and I miss actual real smoked barbecue; Longhorn has it going on and you can smell it even before you order! We had the lunch buffet and while there admittedly wasn't a huge variety, everything was spot on and delicious! The buffet was really affordable and worth well worth the price of $17 each for what we got. I didn't try a single thing which I didn't enjoy all the way from their vegetables or mashed potatoes to their cornbread and homemade clam chowder. Like holy crap the chowder was great and added to the meal way more than I can give it credit with words. I would literally come back just for that chowder which is surprising for a barbecue place so that is why I mention it! They have it out there because they make it from scratch like the other items, it wasn't just tacked on it was created with passion for food! The barbecue sauces were really delicious and made in house. The only smoked meat to enjoy it with was ribs and I was left wondering how amazing some chicken or chops would have been. I also understand how the variety was for the price and they are keeping it affordable for us versus charging $20-30 for lunch. The wait staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. It is a shame I live 6 hours from Spokane! Pictures of my first and second round included with my review, both of which had that freaking chowder. 😚

I haven't been here in years but I thought I would stop and give it a try and it was really good. I was there during the week but I see they have an all you can eat buffet on Friday and Saturday nights that seems like it would be really good. I did enjoy the all-you-can-eat salad bar and I added a meat which was three ribs, some really good baked beans and some cornbread. I also had a sweet tea.

It's always a staple for classic BBQ food! The ribs. . The potato salad.. the baked beans!! They always seem to have fresh food, and good size proportions for everyone. The wait staff is always great!

What a great place for a meal after a long trip! RIGHT off the airport’s main drag, Longhorn Barbecue was what we selected to grab before heading home. I never even knew it existed! It’s been around since 1976, I think the server said! Weekdays, until 2 pm, there is an all you can eat barbecue buffet (Meat! Meat! Meat!) for I believe it was $16! I went for the all you can eat salad bar ($15!) and a side of meat for $5 extra. Well, the smoked turkey I selected also came with a huge piece of cornbread and baked beans! What a great deal! My husband got the bbq beef sandwich, but for him, he thought there was too much sauce for his liking on it. We started off with the pulled pork nachos. I love a good liquid cheese sauce, and this was spectacular. We took 3 boxes home of food. Definitely will be back again. The servers were so friendly and it was super clean inside, including the bathrooms!

Love ❤️ the food and service. Little known treat At the Airway Heights location, they have a beautiful waterlily pond with Koi in the front of the restaurant. See accompanying photos.

Found this gem, sat in the bar, Derek was bartender/waiter and he was excellent, food was on point and served the way it is supposed to be WITH THE SAUCE ON THE SIDE👍🏻👍🏻👌👌.

First time ordering. I was excited to try it out. I had it delivered through Uber. The patty on the chiliburger was burnt to a crisp like a hockey puck and tasted like yesterday's old beef. The chili tasted rancid . There was no cheese and they forgot the sour cream I ordered. I just received this and can't eat it and I never have been prompted so fast to leave a review on a restaurant. I've been a server for 30 years and this was actual swill and so disgusting. I am so disappointed, hungry, and want my money back. I am now editing the review to less than 1 star if I could as I see management has reached out to other disappointed reviewers but couldn't be bothered to message me. BTW, if I had liked the food, and I am not a picky eater, this would have been my go to spot as I am new to the area and love bbq.

Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar is a delightful upscale chain that brings a chic dining experience to the Pacific Northwest, particularly in Washington state. Known for its diverse menu featuring everything from pizzas and sandwiches to New American entrees, this bistro caters to various tastes while ensuring allergen safety. With gluten-free options crafted with care—thanks in part to the owner's personal connection to celiac disease—guests can indulge without worry.
I went on a date night with my wife to Twigs up north in Spokane and it was great. I've been here a few times, but tonight I wanted to try their ribeye. I discussed the thickness and doneness with the waiter, turned out to be a great choice. About an inch thick, great seasoning, and perfect doneness. The place is very nice and enjoyable. My wife had the black and blue coulett and it was great as well . It was a bit expensive, but worth it and expected from the quality of the food, staff, and atmosphere. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. I'll be back and highly recommend.

The Patio, is definitely the place to eat on a beautiful evening. Salads were amazing. Wait staff was very helpful and attentive. The setting was perfect

This flat bread and salad were absolutely amazing! I had the southern fried chicken salad and I am seriously still dreaming about it. You might be thinking it's just a salad. No what sets this salad apart is the Tabasco vinaigrette. 10/10

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a twigs. The hosts were nice and fairly quick, but our server completely ignored my boyfriend after I ordered my drink. Halfway through his sentence she interrupted and walked away. It wasn’t until after I ordered that I had to order his drink for him and she continued to only speak to me. Then came the food. I ordered the southwest nachos and it was the saddest plate I’d seen from this restaurant. The nachos did not have any meat like I ordered and NO CHEESE! After I asked about the mistake the server greatly overcompensated for it by giving me a bowl of cheese and pork that looked like they forgot about it on the grill. We just got our check and left after that.

I brought my wife here for an early anniversary dinner. As always they were awesome! Thank you Conner and Nathan for making our night the best! And I highly recommend the Crab Crusted Salmon.

This Twigs Bistro And Martini Bar is good for you to celebrate your birthday, dating with love once, family, friends, and any you like to bring. This restaurants they have a good food to choose, drinks, wine and desserts. They have a patio that you can see the view like pond water and trees. You can reserve your table here if you have a romantic dinner meal. Very classic restaurants. If you have plan to go out somewhere this is the right for you.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. So the first time I went, my dirty martini was amazing and unfortunately this time I had to send it back twice. I'm not sure why but it tasted off. However, I ordered the huckleberry mule and it was so good! The filet was incredible and cooked just right. I forgot our waitresses name but she was very sweet!
Natasha M — Google review
This has been a very good restaurant in the past. The food is still very good, albeit quite pricey. I do not know what the difficulty was tonight, and part of my concern may have been my fault. I made a reservation for 5:00PM and asked for a pond-side table (outside seating). When we arrived at 4:45PM, my wife opted for inside seating. When she did, I asked for a nice table near the window. The hostess said that all of the near-window tables were for large parties, and having eaten at this restaurant before, she was accurate in her response. She then seated us at a small table for two, one seat facing the bar, the other facing outside with a window view. We waited for 15 minutes before a waitress first checked in at our table (we were 15 minutes early). The wine and appetizers were delivered fairly quickly, but we waited another 20 minutes before the waitress took our order for our meal. We waited another 30+ minutes for our dinner to be served. Look... the food was pretty good, but the service was terribly slow. The waitress was polite, but never offered to apologize for the slow service. It was an hour and 50 minutes from arrival to when we left. I have waited for my meal plenty of times, but if a restaurant is going to charge premium prices for good food, the service better match. Also, I do not appreciate being seated in a cramped table for two, when there were six larger tables directly in our vicinity that remained open through our stay! Why can't restaurant managers figure out that the people who come early (with reservations) should be treated better than people who are not even at the restaurant? First come, first-served? Not eating here again. I can get really good food and really good service at plenty of other venues for half the price! QUESTIONS?

Bruncheonette is a trendy breakfast and lunch spot located on West Broadway Avenue in downtown Spokane. The menu offers creative twists on classic brunch dishes, accompanied by a selection of coffee and cocktails. One of their popular dishes is the three pieces of fried chicken served with a scratch-made cinnamon-brown-sugar waffle, featuring boneless chicken dipped in buttermilk and coated with a secret blend of wheat-free flours and spices for extra crispiness.
I seldom write reviews, but today’s experience warranted a review. After mass, my son and I Google searched a place to have breakfast at. This place came up, and I recalled a coworker recommending it around Christmas time, so we decided to go! The service was quick and friendly! I had the Verde Hash and my son had the Country Fried Steak! Oh-Em-Gee!!! That hash was phenomenal! The medley of different potatoes and the deep flavors in each of the components of this meal were amazing! My son loved his food as well, noting how crispy his chicken was. When I got the check I was surprised to see that it was quite small! We had enough food to take home and tip included, we paid right at $55! We will definitely be back! One of our new favorite spots! 10/10 recommend.

Walked in and sat immediately. Serena took out drink order & they came out quickly... Made some additional accommodations to help me with my health choices upon ordering the entrees. Food came out in a reasonable time, it was fresh and hot. My French toasts whip cream hadn't even started to melt yet so perfection. Love the visit we shall be back...

Hands down our favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Spokane. It’s walk-in only but worth the wait on weekends. Everything we’ve had, including their rotating monthly seasonal items, has been delicious. Plus, great options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets!
Bri K — Google review
I love everything I've tried here at Bruncheonette! A foodie friend of mine, who hails from the Southern USA, says their Shrimp & Grits are fantastic - and that's saying something coming from a southerner! My last visit I had the Tamale Waffle and it was wonderful. I tend to go with mostly savory dishes here, but often get their Bacon Sticky Bun as a sweet appetizer. They make a limited number of these each day, so don't be surprised if they run out toward the end of the day. Coffee is wonderful (I really enjoy their French Press Carafe) and I'm told by my friends who drink that their cocktails are very good. All around, one of the best brunch places in the Spokane area.

Shari's Cafe and Pies is a popular family-friendly restaurant chain known for its cozy atmosphere and classic American comfort food. Despite receiving praise for its delicious menu offerings, some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the slow service.
Food was delicious, got the BYO omelette and made it as the spring spinach omelette but with ham and got the stuffed hashbrowns. One of my toast was a little overdone but still good. Also got the strawberry rhubarb pie and it was very good, rhubarb felt a little overshadowed. Service was lovely everyone was very nice, always got my coffee filled and checked on if I needed anything else.

Went here on my way out of town for a quick breakfast. Was not impressed with the food. Server was attentive, and was quick to refill coffee. Food came out quick but that was about where it stopped being good. Food was hot, but something definately tasted off. Only had the toast and the chicken fried steak, not sure if it was the cardboard taste of the potatoes or the ketchup, but decided to leave most of it. Would not recommend at this time.

Aug 27, 2022 The cook manager, and waitress acknowledged that there is 1 waitress and no other servers or cooks showed up! I witnessed the waitress deliver a mimosas to the wrong table. 5-10 minutes later the customer who ordered the mimosa spoke up. The waitress removed the mimosa from table 1 to deliver to the actual table. The waitress is kind and stressed out. Doing the best she can! We ordered to breakfast and the bacons to be well we’ll do e said “burn” it’s not done on any plate! The food is yum! Good waitress. Oh.. blue cheese old and don’t get it. Beverage refills minimal 2

I don't know what I expected... it had been at least a decade since I'd been to this location. Overall, it was a terrible experience. We only ordered a sampler platter, and it was disgusting. I'm not sure why this place is still open tbh. Smells of 90s cigarette smoke and decay. I'm not even sure what the sauces were in the picture. Microwaved ranch, maybe? Chicken strips were burned and rock hard. Just an overall ick.

Went to order the prime rib an they didnt have any at all. There was nothing said as to what they are put of no sign of any kind letting people know what they are out of. Very very disappointing had to spend even longer trying to decide what i wanted to eat. Order the chicken fried steak an the mac an cheese was dried out very small portion of mashed potatoes that look like they came out of a bag from the grocery store an were not even very hot. The cheeseburgers my girls ordered were not very good looking. Could hardly tell there was cheese on them. Sure looks like they dont really care how stuff is being served. Will never come back to this place again when i come to Spokane to visit. I could get better looking an tasting food at mc Donald's

I just want to say how awesome Monica our waitress was! She was so bubbly and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had gotten some burnt bacon and immediately she thought of getting me some fresh strips. That's so wonderful to see someone who cares about what we are eating. Thanks Monica!!

I never leave bad reviews but... it's sad to report Shari's is not what it used to be... $15 for a tiny omelet and small pancakes. Not worth going to anymore. I swear I've never seen such a small portion in the US, I put a small spoon next to it for size reference.
Jacob G — Google review
The AGM was the “cook” we had no silverware. Food was not served at a safe or edible temperature (cold not hot), “gravy” was thick as paste, mashed potatoes were oxidized and shiney. Ordered a Sante Fe Sandwich and as you can see in the photo it was a cold egg, cold bacon, a cold piece of cheese and NO condiments. No Santa Fe sauce or even Mayo. Ordered Stuffed Hashbrowns and they were cold, undercooked, and had a single piece of slice cheese in them. None of the other condiments that are supposed to come on the stuffed Hashbrowns. When we asked to speak to the manager he came out and said “sorry” and walked off. The tables were all dirty. And It was not even that busy. Someone who came in AFTER us got silverware, drinks and a full meal before we got our meal and I never got silverware or my drink. WE ARE REPORTING TO THE HEALTH BOARD BUT WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW. DO NOT EAT HERE. We tipped our waitress and told her to file a labor board complaint. She was lovely and should never be put in the environment she was working in:

Outlaw BBQ & Catering Market is a must-visit destination for barbecue enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Known for its unique approach, the restaurant first smokes its wings before frying them to achieve a delightful crunch that sets them apart from typical offerings. Diners can choose between traditional buffalo or barbecue styles, both lightly sauced and perfect for dipping in one of Outlaw's signature sauces.
Wow! This place was quite a surprise. We ordered loaded mac n cheese, brisket sliders, cheeseburger & pork egg rolls, and chili cheese fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also! The serving size for soda was huge! Loved it & i love this place!

The food was for a catered event. I wouldn't recommend eating here! The food was completely cold. Everything tasted very sweet. You couldn't taste the pulled pork through the amount of sauce they added. The mac and cheese tasted bland and was burnt on the bottom. The beans were okay, but were so sweet I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. The corn muffins were good, but they were cold and the cheese inside was hard.. I found 2 very long hairs baked into my mac and cheese. I don't know where all the great reviews come from, but I wouldn't eat here again. It's way over priced for gross food!!

Hands down the best bbq I’ve had. The cornbread is amazing. I would come back for the cheesy cornbread alone. My favorite choice of meat was the turkey. My partner and I got a shared plate (I forgot what it’s called) and it was a lot of food! And it did not disappoint. Service was great. Our server was attentive and friendly. We went on a Thursday afternoon just after 6 and we were surprised that it wasn’t busier because of how good the food was. A must visit spot!!

My journey to have BBQ in every state led me to this amazing place. By far the best bbq I have had. Everything was cooked to perfection. The house sauces were amazing. The owners show some they care what is being served - we showed up between lunch and dinner and had the best there was for the day. We ordered as much as two people should be allowed to. Thick sliced brisket and ham both tender. The bbq beans, bacon potato salad and jalapeño pasta were incredible. The menu is large for a bbq place - there was a starter called cheeseburger egg-rolls- Yes Please! Amazing. In the back of the seating area was a pie station. Hours later we were able to take on the strawberry lemonade cheesecake pie- unbelievable- so rich and all the flavors were there. The themed restaurant is top notch with large bar and seating area. This is a standard that a restaurant should be trying to achieve. Service was top notch. Spokane and the Outlaw is on my BBQ map now and it should be on yours as well.

As close to Texas as you’ll get in the parts… fried okra was to perfection, the sweet tea was amazing (can’t get good sweet tea anywhere) the pull pork sandwich was awesome. Our server was great. I’d go again if I lived in Spokane or next time I’m here.

Good place for BBQ. Stick with a smoked turkey sandwich, wings, and their craft drinks. All the food is pretty good, imma let you make your mind up about the brisket. Service is excellent, might have s wait if you have a large, 6 or over, group.

Our party of five was seated quickly, we arrived at about 5:00 p.m. There was still plenty of seating. Ice water was brought to our table promptly. Our waiter was very cheerful and helpful. We ordered the Ruben Sandwich with Brisket. Others at our table ordered Brisket Tacos (plus a Cheeseburger, and Chicken strips from the kids menu). At the end of the meal, we went to look at the dessert options - - - wow! So many delicious options. We will definitely return to Outlaw Barbeque; we loved it!

The food is described as absolutely delicious, with favorites including the Gyro sandwich and flavorful fries topped with Feta. Customers appreciate the generous portions and friendly service, making it an ideal spot for casual dining.
Ordered a gyro sandwich with a side of fries, it was so good the fries could of used a little more salt but dip it in the sour cream sauce and its good . Also had an order of their jalapeño and cilantro hummus with an extra side of pita bread, it was really good as well. Finished with a pistachio desert it did not disappoint. Paid under $35 little pricey but it was delicious

Me and My Family recent visit to this delightful Greek and Persian restaurant was truly memorable. The food was outstanding, starting with the mouthwatering saffron rice and perfectly cooked kebabs that were bursting with flavor. Each bite was delicious, and the spices were balanced beautifully. The gyros were equally impressive, tender and flavorful, and the fresh salad added a refreshing touch to the meal. Every dish tasted authentic and homemade, giving a real sense of the care that goes into the cooking. One thing to note is that there’s only one server working, so there can be a bit of a wait for your food and orders, but it’s worth it. The server was so lovely and attentive, despite being the only one on staff. Although she forgot a glass of water we know she’s doing her best, and her friendly demeanor really adds to the overall charm of the place. The restaurant itself is decorated in such a cozy, homey way, with warm colors and comfortable seating that make it feel like you’re dining in someone’s home. It’s the perfect setting for a relaxed meal with family or friends, and I can see it being a great spot for larger gatherings, especially with family. The laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere really enhances the experience, making it a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy some delicious food in good company. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with flavorful, authentic Greek and Persian dishes and a welcoming, home-like ambiance, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Just remember to bring some patience for the wait, and you’ll be rewarded with an amazing meal and a lovely dining experience. PS. Kabob Combo is my recommendation 😍💕

I love this place so much. I've been telling everyone that will listen, how good the food is. Clean, beautiful, and relaxing atmosphere. Helpful staff, which is nice, because I don't know anything about Mediterranean food. Everything I've had is absolutely delicious. My new favorite casual dining spot. Even brought the kiddo, she loved her Gyro sandwich! These fries don't look like much... but don't let that fool you. The seasoning is beyond good, as is the Feta it's topped with. Chicken Sharwarma is still my favorite!

The neighborhood of Manito where it's situated is described as walkable, dog-friendly, and inviting for the holidays. The shop offers delicious homemade ice cream with flavors that change frequently such as pumpkin, salted caramel, and banana pudding.
Not enough stars to properly rate this place. The ice cream and waffle cones are the best I've had. The staff is very friendly. Very clean and they have a wonderful patio to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Great location with a very scenic area to drive around in once your finished.

We love the scoop! The staff is friendly, the shop is sweet (especially outside!), and good ice cream. Not quite five stars as we find their menu a bit challenging. I’d love to see half of the flavors stay the same and the other half be seasonal/rotate. Our family frequently visits the website and/or calls for flavors, only to be disappointed and not visit. In addition to vanilla and chocolate, we’d enjoy a couple of their cookie flavors to stay on the menu. Black & white cookie dough, giants milk & cookies, and birthday cake are some of our favorites!

Nestled on the north bank of the Spokane River, Osprey Restaurant & Bar offers a relaxed dining experience with a menu featuring burgers, pasta, steak, and craft cocktails. The venue boasts a comfortable and modern patio overlooking the serene river, complete with outdoor heating for year-round enjoyment. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or weekend brunch, this spot has you covered.
Alina was our server and let me tell you, fantastic! She really made it a special experience. I came with my folks for happy hour and it did not disappoint. The aperol margarita was phenomenal. Not too sweet, just right (I did not get the sugar rim). It was super relaxing sitting my the river and watching people walk by on the path. The road noise was kinda loud, so as nice as it is by the river, know there a main thoroughfare right there too. Nachos were decent. Cheese was lacking, chips were bare, so Alina brought a side of cheese sauce which seemed to be homemade, and that fixed the issue. Overall, highly recommend this lively Spokane restaurant.

Let’s start with the really good things: The food. I had the BBQ ribs: Nice, smoky flavor, falling off the bone, just as it should be. My wife had the Taboulé salad: Tasty, crunchy, good! The service was okay - not more, not less. Our waiter was there, did his job, nothing else. The thing that killed the atmosphere completely was the terrible lighting! Bright, white neon lights!! Grrrrrr! No chance for any kind of cosy dinner atmosphere! The ONLY nice lighting was at the bar: Warm, loft like light bulbs - the way it should be all over. Bottom line: Good dinner - with a big „But…!“

Went to the patio concert series and had a blast listening to music. Didn't have to wait long for a seat, so we chilled at the bar for like 10 minutes before we got one. Good vibes, awesome drinks, and I'm definitely going back for that river view!
Marc A — Google review
The food was amazing and our waiter (Tyrone) was excellent, but wait times were long! We stood inside 10 minutes before we were greeted by the hostess, a group of 6 ahead of us she was trying to help. She could have at least acknowledged we were there. Once we sat, we were placed at a dirty table. I had to flag her down again to clean off. Took almost 15 minutes just to get 2 bar drinks. Our appetizer and food were delicious. The pork in the tacos was smoked perfectly! The chips were served with salsa, but it is really pico de galla and very little of it. Atmosphere outside was nice, but we were placed up against the building and very hard to enjoy the view with all the shade things pulled out as they blocked view.

Excellent atmosphere right on the Spokane River, competitive prices and amazing food. The BBQ pork is legit, smoky, tender, filling, and the truffle fries are incredibly flavorful. Sarah was phenomenal.

The family stopped here for brunch. We were able to seated outside, in beautiful weather and under an awning. Perfect! Our server was attentive and quite engaging, we had some fun with her, and it helped to enhance our experience. The food was very good, my avocado toast with smoked salmon and eggs was delicious! Unfortunately, our food took quite a long time to come, and the restaurant was not that busy, so that was disappointing. But, that was the only downside. All in all, a good meal out.

I love this place and it has a wonderful location right on the River. The view is beautiful. Food is good especially the steak, burgers, and breakfast. The barbecue is also very good. . Bob and Josh served me last time, We've always had very good service. I visit my family there several times a year and we always visit Ospreys! Wonderful deserts as well!

Real good experience here! Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. The happy hour was great, the service was fast and both the drinks and food were amazing. We will definitely be back and be taking visiting guests here as it’s a prime location on the river!

Nestled in the heart of Spokane, Cole's Bakery & Cafe is a delightful haven for food lovers seeking both gluten-free and vegan options. Since its inception in 2013, this charming establishment has carved out a niche as a go-to spot for scrumptious baked goods and hearty meals. With an extensive menu that spans breakfast to dinner, guests can indulge in everything from delectable vegan cupcakes and brownies to savory dishes like sweet potato-black bean veggie burgers and pulled jackfruit sandwiches.
This place is so special!! My husband and i were in town visiting family. Stopped here one day for a late breakfast, and was excited that it was a fully GF facility. This place has some of the best food hands down! We loved it so much the first time we came again the next day. We tried a bit of everything. The ricotta pancakes are perfection along with the biscuits and gravy. We loved the onion rings, Mozz sticks and chicken fingers and fries. My husband loved his burger as well. The food is seasoned nicely which goes a long way. It was just so good! The service is great, but beware this place can get busy and they have a storefront as well so if they dont have enough staff you may wait a bit of time. The second day we went it was packed and they had two people. And the storefront area was busy as well. I tried their chocolate cupcake that was very much like a hostess and it was just the tastiest! My husband and father loved the lime and lemon bars. So happy we found this place and will be back anytime we are in town. It’s a must visit!

It's said the quality and state of a restaurant's kitchen and bathrooms, is the quality of their food. Cole's rocked these and their food was AMAZING. We got the pancakes and chicken fried steak. Both were so good. 🤌🏼 Also tried the Lavender Fog, so good! Place was clean, well designed, lots of product for those sensitive to gluten avail for walk up purchase. Server was kind and efficient. We def suggest you stop in and taste something amazing for yourself.

The food was delicious! I stopped here because they have vegan options and didn't even realize everything is gluten free too. I'm not gluten free but everything was delicious. I got the vegan brownie and one of the vegan burgers. Definitely worth eating here 😁

How have I only just visited Cole’s while being in this area?! HANDS DOWN THE BEST GLUTEN FREE RESTAURANT AROUND! They have a huge variety of food, baked goods, delicious drinks and so much more! When you walk in there is a shopping area where you can purchase refrigerated items (donuts, ice cream, etc), baked goods (carrot cupcakes, cheesecake), to go items (burritos, freeze dried candy, and sandwiches) to mixes made from Simple Mills and more (soup mixes, cake mixes, brownie mixes, etc). There are two separate dining areas. The tables are large, clean and provide everything you might need on hand (sugar, salt and pepper, ketchup). The service was wonderful! Everything is 100% gluten and peanut free! Some items are keto friendly and dairy free. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they were so fluffy! I highly recommend their hot chocolate as well. The chips that came with my friend’s meal were divine!!! Overall the experience was truly amazing. I simply can’t rave enough about this place. This is definitely worth the trip and I plan on coming back as much as I can!

Wonderful place to go if you have celiac disease, there is absolutely no gluten in any of their products that they sell in the restaurant or in their display cases as well as their baking items. The breakfast was basic pretty typical. I was pretty impressed with the toast since it was gluten-free and it tasted delicious. I thought it would taste different. It ended up tasting like regular bread. And the the tea drink that I had with the milk in it was delicious. I definitely want that one again. The service was wonderful and the owner was kind. It seemed very busy at lunchtime, but it was great. No complaints here. I will be going back since my sweet little daughter-in-law has celiac disease and I will be picking up bread for her quite often. And vegetarian options are definitely available if you are a vegan.

I love they have gluten free and dairy free foods it helps a lot with dietary needs. I took some lemon bars, lime bars and salted caramel cupcakes home. Love the lemon bars. Lime bars were a little bland for my taste. The salted caramel cupcakes were ok, the frosting tasted a bit artificial. We ate there, got fish and chips. They were good, wish it was a little more for the price. Service was alright. Friendly people. Overall I will go again, but it's a bit expensive for what you get. However, everywhere and everything seems expensive anymore.

I wasn’t planning on stopping at anywhere in particular because I was starving and need to eat.. but Cole’s just happened to be very close. I’m so happy my stomach’s intuition guided me to this place!! 😊 The food was delicious and fresh and the FOH Manager was very accommodating and friendly. I didn’t see a lot of workers, so I didn’t mind waiting a few minutes to order, but every time she walked by me she acknowledged me and reassured me that she would assist me ASAP. I ordered the “Dirty Fries” because my stomach was running the show at this point not my healthy conscience. When they came out they were exactly as I had hoped for! Hot, natural cut fries with a generous helping of cheese sauce, pulled pork, their signature BBQ sauce, and topped off with green onions.. 😱🤑 my tastebuds were very pleased. Also need to mention the Butterscotch and cashew cookies were a perfect mix of sweet, crunchy, & chewy. ❤️ I will be back and recommend you to my friends 👍.

The High Nooner is a great sandwich shop with a variety of specialty sandwiches and build-your-own options. The Bomb Sandwich is especially good, and they're also very quick.
Not only are their soups and sandwiches delicious, their customer service is superb! I called yesterday asking for their Thai soup (its literally one of the best and I've been craving it). Unfortunately it wasn't on the menu that day. But the lady I spoke with said she would put it on the menu for today and she even faxed me a list of all the soups they would have available for today. She followed through, and I'm now sitting here in my office, fat and happy, eating my favorite soup that was delivered on time and still hot :) There are a lot of sandwich places in town, but I'll stick with the one who goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. Thank you High Nooner and staff!
Darci W — Google review
The food at this establishment was phenomenal!!! I ordered "The Cowboy", coleslaw and a fountain drink. My friend and I shared a cream cheese brownie. The sandwich was delicious! The tomato was cut in a way that made it so it didn't slip off the bread, a problem I commonly find. I complemented the ranch dressing that was included with mayo to create a creamy sauce. The coleslaw was top of the line, and there was enough served that I wasn't wishing for more after it was gone. The meal came with a complimentary cookie, chocolate chip. The fountain drink was served in a 24oz cup that didn't have a lid, which made it difficult bringing my refill home. For two sandwiches, a Snapple, a brownie and a fountain drink the total was $49.20, a little pricey in my opinion, but do able on occasion. The meal was brought in a paper bag allowing me to bring the leftovers home. The dining area was beautiful, the customer service was great and the food was delicious!

Bright and clean space with friendly and fast service. I had the whole Veggie Nooner. It was a great meal, and it's one of my favorite sandwiches from anywhere. The veggies were very fresh, and the bread was delicious. I had one of these sandwiches a year ago when passing through Spokane and couldn't wait to come back and have one again. Their sandwiches are great... did I say that already:) Parking was easy to find.
R_ V — Google review
Tasty sandwich, but where do we draw the line of value? Apparently mine starts at paying almost 9 dollars for 4 inches of bread. Place isn't fancy inside either, so the prices aren't commensurate with what you're getting.
Ernaldo V — Google review
My company always orders High Nooner for lunch trainings. What a great surprise for my first day with the credit union.! I ordered the Club Nooner, not realizing it was massive with three slices of freshly baked French bread. I should have only ordered the half sandwich. It’s definitely enough for two meals. It was well sauced which is what I love. A good quality of turkey and bacon. Because the bread is so soft, the sandwich does tend to fall apart, but it’s a delicious mess. My sandwich came with a chocolate chip cookie, which is an added bonus . I would definitely order from High Nooner again, and they deliver!
O — Google review
Delicious, quick, overpriced food. You have to pay for parking because it's downtown. It cost over $25 for the Prime Nooner, with side, add cup soup. They provided free ice water. They split the meal and gave us both a little cookie and crackers. Heavy on the horse radish sauce. Great experience, but not worth more than one time. One and done.

I'm on a trip to Spokane, WA. I try to eat local when I go somewhere new. I driving back to my hotel when I asked Google if there were any delis in the area. A few names came up but I had to try The High Nooner. I had their almost Ruben with is with Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. I got the potato salad that was amazing. its a mustard base must try. I came back the next day and tries their hot grinder. no other words than just amazing. They are only open from 1030am to 230pm so plan your trip to downtown accordingly.

An 8 oz cappuccino for $5.75? To make it even stranger, a latte here is actually cheaper than a cappuccino. On top of that, it took 30 minutes just to order and get my drink—on a Wednesday, with barely any line. Definitely not worth the wait or the price.

My best friend and I LOVE this place! We came here 3 years ago during a covid road trip for my bestie since he is GF and this place has lots of GF options. We are back 3 years later driving through Spokane and made a point to come back here. The food was just as good and we got to eat inside and talk to the staff and patrons this time. What a charming place, great food, good playlist, and all the people eating were happy and enjoying themselves. Great prices. I hope to come back again one day!

On the lookout for a new breakfast bakery for meetings. Just did a google search and saw the shop. They were my 2nd stop of the morning. Parking is limited as is the menu for breakfast pastries. I see cinnamon rolls and get 1 to go. Over $7.00 very disappointed the roll was not freshly made. When I tapped it with a fork it made that stale bread tapping sound. When I tried a bite it was hard not soft but more like a day or 2 old. Ok sometimes bread products can dry around the cut edges quickly so I tapped the roll through the frosting it was still dry. If fresh this would have been a 5 star rating because it clearly has tons of flavor looks and smells wonderful just not freshly made
Julie M — Google review
I had been looking forward to trying this place for months, and we finally stopped in with our kids. We ordered lattes and a few breakfast treats, including cinnamon rolls and a brownie. The lattes were fantastic—rich and flavorful—but the pastries were a bit of a letdown. They tasted stale and lacked the freshness we were hoping for. The service also left something to be desired. The staff member at the counter was very quiet and didn’t offer to warm up our pastries, which would have made a big difference. We initially planned to sit inside but ended up taking everything home just to heat it up. With so many charming, locally owned spots in town, a little extra attention to customer service and food quality could really elevate the experience. Hoping to see some improvements because this place has great potential!

My boyfriend and I decided to visit today, and we were both pretty excited until we walked in & the first thing we saw were AI generated postcards. I'm used to the shop supporting local and small artists, so seeing AI "art" was pretty disheartening. We were largely ignored too, despite it being pretty empty aside from a couple other customers. Coffee is good, but I'm disappointed.

Baba Spokane is a modern restaurant located in the lively Kendall Yards neighborhood. It offers inventive New American cuisine alongside craft beer and cocktails in a sleek, minimalist setting. Chef Adam Hegsted's creative take on Middle Eastern dishes shines through the menu, featuring unique items like Turkish mac and cheese with a yogurt-based cheese sauce. The restaurant is known for its fusion of Mediterranean-inspired comfort foods, such as deviled eggs with tahini and Egyptian spice.
We arrived at baba later on a Saturday evening after arriving in Spokane for a relocation planning trip. This will probably be the first place we come to when we return! I cannot stop thinking about the Mezze Platter… just, wow. Flavor bombs galore! The flavors are bright and fresh, the pita warm and fluffy. We tried the deviled eggs based off reviews mentioning them - probably won’t order those again as they were incredibly rich and had a lot of different flavors going on. Not terrible, just overwhelming in my opinion. The service was pleasant and well timed and the atmosphere welcoming. A breath of fresh air compared to the entitlement we often experience in Bend, OR. Looking forward to returning to baba! Thanks y’all!

This is a great Mediterranean Restaurant, located in a scenic area of Spokane Washington. I visited during happy hour and ordered several items from the happy hour menu and one for them from the regular menu; everything that I order was outstanding. The dishes had a very complex and bold flavors, and the service was outstanding. The happy hour menu was very affordable. This is a great place of you are vegetarian, there are many meatless options, as well as numerous meat options on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Probably the best Mediterranean restaurant I have ever had. Everything we ordered was good, the flavors were bold, balanced, and unique. The chicken skewers + potatoes were phenomenal. Will be back the next time I visit Spokane!

I can’t. Not anymore. I can no longer go to a Mediterranean restaurant and be satisfied unless it’s Baba. This has changed me. Gorgeous little place, could have used some candles on the tables, but clean, and fitting decor. Service was relaxed and on it as far as never letting you be without what you need. The food… layers of flavors that you’d not expect- even in a place like this. I’ve been to so many but nothing has left me staring at my mom across the table wondering if I should stomp my feet or walk to the back and thank the chef. Hit up during happy hour, the deviled eggs are amazing. Had to request without chili oil for my mom. The falafel/ wow. The WHIPPED FETA and pita. Come ON!- there are flavors that shouldn’t be allowed and I’m so glad they are. Never had a soft pillowy fresh one before. The chicken kabob..the caramel.. the chili flakes.. I could drink that. Used the rest of my pita to sop it up. Beef lamb kabob was stunning- almost at the top of my personal heat limit. Had the chocolate pistachio torte.. so good. I will have to come back next time I’m in town. PLEASE GO HERE.

Modern Mediterranean with an amazing Happy Hour! Staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and there was an array of small bite tasting options on the 3-5 menu- Try everything! The vegan options here are plentiful, the dishes are fresh, creative and packed with flavor. Highly recommend the smoky Baba Ghanoush and charred Oyster Mushroom Souvlaki Skewer.
Jaime M — Google review
Trying out this Mediterranean fusion restaurant certainly didn't disappoint. My party of four actually all had the Baba Bowl (mine had kofta kabob) and they were delicious. If you nearly go all out with main entry, beers, dessert, and coffee - expect the bill to be over $200.
Robert S — Google review
I had an incredible meal at Baba. The flavors here are outstanding and every dish felt carefully crafted. • Kofta Kebab: Spiced ground lamb and beef skewer, grilled over wood fire, with tzatziki, pomegranate molasses, feta, and herbs absolutely delicious, juicy, and packed with flavor. • Smoked & Grilled Chicken Skewer: Perfectly tender with dukkah spice, chicken caramel, and cilantro mayo, paired with Lebanese spiced potatoes. Smoky, rich, and unforgettable. • Tzatziki Yogurt Dip: Hands down the best tzatziki I’ve ever had. Creamy Greek yogurt, cucumber, roasted garlic, and olive oil with a touch of tahini so fresh and flavorful. • Fresh Pita Bread: Warm, soft, and perfect for scooping everything up. The only downside: portion sizes are on the smaller side. That said, the seasoning, balance of spices, and overall execution more than made up for it. A beautiful mix of Mediterranean flavors that I’d come back for anytime.

Retro Donuts is a classic doughnut shop that's definitely worth the wait. Their focus on traditional flavors is evident in their delicious offerings. One customer was pleasantly surprised when they bit into what they thought was a maple bar, only to discover it was filled with raspberry - a bold and unexpected twist! The staff are friendly and provide great service, even throwing in an extra donut or two for free.
It's totally amazing!! Both food and service definitely will be back!!

We hired them to delivery donuts for our wedding outside of Spokane. The service and donuts were incredible! We couldn't keep people away from our donut wall while waiting for dinner.
Dane H — Google review
After reading some of the reviews I decided to go get Retro Donuts first thing this morning so we wouldn't miss out on what we were looking forward to, because they were out... Crazy ridiculous pricing for the donuts! I know that it doesn't cost as much as it did back during Covid, to make a sub par donut. So why is Retro still charging us that? Because they can, because we as consumers will pay it... Nope, we won't be back. The GiGi was the only thing that was decently tasting and fairly priced IMO. The donut breakfast sandwich I wanted so much to be good, but it was cold! The cheese wasn't even melted. The front counter employee was very blahhh, while the drive thru employee was pleasant when she gave me my change.
J C — Google review
This doughnut bakery retro-actively delicious! Their creativity and willingness to explore bold flavors is fantastic. Their staff are always cheerful and fun to talk with. Conviniently located off of the highway, this is a great staple for locals and those coming through the area.

So here's the thing about Retro Doughnuts. I had one a while back. I went to get one out of a box a friend had brought to work. I grabbed a maple bar. It appeared someone had rubbed a jelly filled doughnut up next to it. The nerve of some jelly filled thing anywhere near my maple bar!!! But I fingered I could eat around it. My first bite changed my whole perception of doughnuts. The maple bar was actually filled with raspberry filling. I almost spit it out only cause I was not expecting anything this crazy. But the taste kept me chewing. It was delicious. I came in today for another. We may have a problem developing here. I may need bigger pants. Today I had a triple chocolate and a maple filled wonder bar. To go I got a fritter. It looked too good to pass up.

Jon was incredibly nice and helpful! We wanted a donut wall for our reception and were unsure of how many donuts to get or what kind. Jon helped us through every step and took care of us very well. This is a nice intimate restaurant and bar. My wife and I had lunch we shared the Brussel sprouts and a bok choy dish along with some fresh arugula salad with pickled onions on top. The server was very nice and accommodating, we asked for some olive oil for our salad and she found some for us even though they don’t normally offer it. She also gave us a complementary spritzer drink. The only thing that bummed us out was the Brussel sprouts were deep fried and they use canola oil and deep fry the food. It ruins the health value making it unhealthy. But, the presentation was nice and the flavors were really good. If you’re looking for a plant based healthy raw food type offering look somewhere else.

Best bagels in Spokane (true to form if you know what true bagels are). I travel from far north to get them, and freeze them for future consumption. Not cheap, but good value when one considers the freshness and weight. You want inferior cheap bagels, hit the supermarket instead. Cinnamon/raisin great! The best!

Cool vibe, good food. I had the Zegg on a salt and pepper bagel, really good breakfast sandwich.

Bagel shaped bread - very dense and heavy. I know many people love their bagels, but to me a bagel should be light and chewy on the outside. Hidden Bagel is 100% better. I guess these would be the better choice if you needed to throw something at someone you don't like.

Amazing customer service here! Environment was clean but they definitely cater to that college vibe. They could use a good update. I can’t wait to come back for breakfast sometime. I got the turkey avocado blt special on a salt and pepper bagel.

Wow, just left the bagel shop and am eating my first bagel from there! Very delicious! I was looking for something similar to Einstein bagels and this is it! Fast service too. Will be back soon!

Love this place. I visit here every time I'm in Spokane. Great bagels. Just like home (NY/NJ). Great service.
Michael M — Google review
Ultimate bagel is very much an appropriate name for this establishment. Perfectly made, chewy inside, crunchy outside, lots of flavor options. We both got the egg sandwiches but in hindsight these bagels are so special that we probably would have appreciated them more with a schmear of cream cheese. We will be back! What a high quality bagel.

Thank you so much, Miss Heather! 🫶🏼 I am extremely picky with coffees I only drink tea & veryyyy specific, I almost never get coffee. Miss Heather went above & beyond. She made my tea super well, & offered to change it or make it sweeter if I needed, & it was amazing. They also have a unique menu with different tea or coffee flavors. They have vegetarian & vegan brurritos. Also a super cute place to walk to. Thank you so much, Caffe Capri! 🫶🏼

Very nice coffee shop very clean well organized attractive. Excellent service really good pastry offers, also I don’t normally do cake pops, but I got the brownie cake pop and another one for my cousin oh my God they were the best ever I wanted to go back and get more when I was back in town a few days later, but I couldn’t find parking. Highly recommended it’s on a very cute corner.

It is a place that I visit quite often. It is nice and quiet. Be aware, though, that you might be charged for tips that you did not authorize. The first time it happened to me, I thought it was an honest mistake. However, it keeps happening. Last time I was there, I paid with my credit car and put my tip in the jar. However, my credit card statement shows that I was charged again for a tip that I never authorized. This is not OK and I will not be coming back.

I usually enjoy my daily cup from here, but like everywhere there is masters of their craft and you're excited just seeing them in the morning. I found out they fired Heather, their coffee master, and it shows already. Don't expect them to last long after that foolish decision.

I really love this place, it's conveniently placed, the people are freindly and the drinks are unique however twice now I have found hair in my drinks. I was honestly disgusted since both times I had drank from them before I noticed. It's very unsanitary, I let it go the first time but after a second time I don't think I'll be going here anymore.

Raspberry Oatbar was great. Not made in house. Coffee was too strong and needed more flavor. Didn't taste anything but coffee, despite supposed strong flavors. Might try again.

Nothing Bundt Cakes delivered right to my doorstep! My amazing boyfriend ordered these for my daughter's graduation party today. They are DELECTABLE. So moist, perfectly flavored, not too sweet... DIVINE! Super cute little bundt cakes means no need for a knife, plates, and forks. Convenient and delicious and ADORABLE!

I love Nothing Bundt Cakes not only because of their delicious Gluten Free options but mainly because of Kaylee. She is such a welcoming breath of fresh air. Kaylee makes my day with her vivacious positive attitude and she's always so friendly, attentive and genuinely caring. She is an absolute sweetheart.

This is the worst Bundt cake my family and I have ever been to. The girl that works there named Sophie is so rude and on drugs. She made our experience horrible. I went there 2 more times and got the 5 of the smores cakes and all we're missing marshmallows. I won't be back after 3 times of dealing with a unfriendly rude attitude for no reason.

Love their stuff. There are three sizes of cakes to buy. My favorite are the mini bundtinis, you get a dozen for $22. There are a number of flavors; I think the best ones are white chocolate raspberry and confetti. The staff is nice and friendly. Each cake comes with cream cheese icing that is to die for. They also freeze very well so you can stock up and enjoy for weeks to come

A recently opened coffee shop and small-batch coffee roaster, Arctos Coffee and Roasting Co., can be found north of the campus in a former auto shop. The café's ambiance is characterized by roll-top, garage-style doors that allow ample natural light to filter through. The industrial interior showcases shades of gray and black, complemented by touches of red and rustic wood elements.
This is one of the best coffee stops we've had in Spokane! There have been very few places we've been impressed with, and this is our favorite! The drinks are amazing, the food was so reasonably priced and delicious, it was insanely busy and the barista working was so quick and friendly and didn't look even a little stressed, she was awesome and made some great lattes! It was clean inside with lots of seating, we will be back often!

Americano, Cortado, Lemon Raspberry, oh my!! Great place to chill, relax, and plenty of space to bring your laptop 💻 for telework! I forgot my manners and didn’t ask the owner’s name! Had a great convo with him about traveling and water mineralization affecting coffee taste and quality. I’m only half coffee nerd 🤓. Definitely check this place out if you’re ever in Spokane!
Jessica L — Google review
I walked into the warm and inviting roasting area of Arctos Coffee in Spokane, Washington, and immediately liked the vibe. The room was kept at a comfortable 74°, which made it nice. I didn’t have to sit and freeze my backside off. They featured gentle coffee shop jazz and pop with mostly female vocalists. There wasn’t anything annoying or distracting, which was really nice. It was exactly the ambience you want for a coffee shop. It was something to touch off gentle conversation and add some feeling to the place without being overwhelming. One table at the entrance, coffee roasting area at the beginning. It’s a little bit different setup where you walk in and then find where to sit. One super-connected, great long table in the center of the store. There were Gonzaga people sitting there. Clearly everyone else was doing the laptop lifestyle. Two other people were actually chatting. A rare moment for sure. They’ve got their own labeled Arctos Coffee, and they’ve got fun-labeled mugs, glassware, hats, ground and roasted coffee, and other kitsch for sale. They do have baked and made snacks by the bar. In the entryway, they have nice commercial vinyl plank that looks like real wood flooring. However, inside the main sitting area is a classic smooth concrete floor. The interesting thing is, there’s enough in the room that it’s not loud at all. A lot of times, these concrete-floor places are loud, but Arctos Coffee seems to have figured out the magic. It makes it fun to listen to the barista create her own form of music without being too distracting. They’ve got flags and stickers for Gonzaga and all sorts of other fun college ideas to sticker up your laptop. It’s definitely a college location with some professors as well. They have a ceiling fan running to get a little bit of air circulation. During the summer, they have the garage-door roll-up style windows that they can open to cool things down. The one downside would be the road noise, but that’s a trade-off. They had fun holiday decorations, since I came here in the fall. Pumpkins, leaves, and themed decorations. It was very nice. They had flags for Washington State Cougars, University of Washington, Northwestern University, Gonzaga University, and Eastern Washington University. They definitely have great representation here. I had a hot chai tea latte and asked for it to be foamed with a little bit of sprinkles on top. Totally perfect. The amount of foam was incredible, and the taste was excellent. The advantage to the foam is that it keeps the drink warm, so that’s very nice. The young lady running the cash register was sweet and totally attentive. Even though she was busy with two other drinks, she engaged me and started asking what I wanted. She guided me to a menu so I could get going while she finished up the other people’s orders. While I was still kind of looking around the coffee shop, I was surprised she had already finished my drink. It was way faster than other stores. This is definitely a place where my thriller characters would come to quietly discuss things. I would have no trouble writing a chapter here. You don’t talk too loud because others are very respectful. This is more of a quiet location, which is pretty nice. You can have a conversation without having to yell over anything. That’s really nice compared to some places. They do have a restroom with a security code, so make sure you buy something. They have a refrigerator with some cheese, snacks, chai drinks, applesauce, and other sundries. Their grab-and-go menu is pretty extensive, so if you just need to snag something and punch out, you can do it. This coffee shop definitely has the Gonzaga vibe written all over it, which is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a place with college energy, but still silent studying for students working on their aspirations and hopes. I love that style of academic energy where everybody is in the same place, in the same boat. When I’m in Spokane, I will definitely return here. The vibe is great, and the hot chai tea latte was perfect.

Very cute coffee shop. I believe they were having some maintenance work done when I visited. The barista was friendly and my coffee was delish. I got a toasted bagel as well. Easy parking on the street. Lots of customers hanging out. I believe it to be a popular spot. I did not have to wait long for my order. I do recommend.

My Fresh Basket in Spokane is a unique specialty grocer with the ambiance of a high-end market. It offers an array of quality products including fresh produce, organic groceries, a diverse wine selection, and a cheese counter. The store also features a deli serving fresh sandwiches, wraps, and salads as well as a bakery offering an assortment of breads, cookies, cakes, and macarons. Additionally, they provide cooking classes for those interested in enhancing their culinary skills.
A Hidden Gem for Fresh, Customizable, and Health-Conscious Eats My Fresh Basket is a fantastic find for anyone who values fresh, organic, and health-conscious grocery options. The store is packed with organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other specialty items, and the produce section was especially impressive—vibrant, well-stocked, and clearly fresh. One of my favorite features was the poke-by-the-pound bar. We picked up 1.5 pounds of fresh salmon poke, sampling three different flavor profiles, and paired it with our choice of salads and vegetables to build our own poke bowls. Compared to a typical poke restaurant, this experience felt more customizable, more generous in portion size, and surprisingly more affordable. At $20 per pound, it’s not cheap, but considering the quality, freshness, and flexibility, it felt like a smart and satisfying choice—especially for a hungry lunch. The atmosphere was clean, bright, and inviting, with a local and slightly cultural vibe in its design and layout. The staff were kind and helpful, which made the visit even better. All in all, My Fresh Basket offers a refreshing alternative to eating out—fresh, flavorful, and designed to suit your preferences. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for more poke!

Lovely place, really nice and healthy warm food bar. As well as proper cold salad bar and a lot of preprepared foods. Highly recommend for a good and decent lunch.

The store is super cool. Awesome wine selection and lot of good variety food. It's almost like a mini whole foods, but even some of the foods they have here you can't even find a whole foods. A nice local store. The only thing I could say is they could be a little bit more friendly about giving the code for the bathroom there. I think you could tell which people are there to abuse it and who genuinely need to use it. Especially if you're a customer.

This place is the best. I love to swing by the breakfast bar before work or the lunch side on my break. And the bakery is a must for a sweet treat. The staff is incredibly helpful, everyone in deli!! The lady up front and cashiers go above and beyond to recommend great local products or a new drink from espresso. They are always able to point me in the right direction with a smile. This is my go to spot for a quick bite and friendly faces.

I had a frustrating experience at checkout recently. The cashier, Sophia, scanned several items 2-3 times, inflating my bill by nearly triple the correct amount. After noticing the error, I called for the manager, who was helpful and quickly corrected the mistake. However, Sophia’s repeated errors with scanning and calculating the total were concerning. I hope the store considers replacing her with more experienced, knowledgeable staff to avoid such issues in the future.

This has easily become my favorite grocery store since moving to Spokane. Not overly expensive, but definitely not the cheapest place to shop. The quality of the meat and produce is outstanding and makes the trip well worth it!

I would give this place a five stars because I frequent spokane often and come here for lunch and the great variety of food and drinks. And the staff is amazing. The only disappointment is when I bought a whole bunch of drinks and asked for a glass of ice and they still wanted to charge me a $.76 that's kind of too bad
Sabon L — Google review
I have started doing reviews as of today from the perspective of a bicyclist. They are literally across the street from two major bike trails. They have plenty of bike racks and their dining patio is adjacent to it and short walls allow one to watch their bike. Spokane has a lot of bike paths and I find most businesses genuinely suck at accommodating this crowd in anyway. My only criticism is that there shouldn’t be a curb leading up to the bike racks. There should be a ramp so one can ride right up to their parking spot instead of taking a weird loopty loop around the sidewalk. I won’t dock points for this. The whole parking lot is a bit weird and I think they did the best they could with the space.

We selected Lilac City Bakery for our wedding cake and amenity cookies for our guest. My husband is Colombian, and they offered us a traditional cookie as an option for our wedding. Catering food and drink supplier
Borracho Tacos & Tequileria is a vibrant downtown spot that offers Mexican street food and a variety of infused tequilas. The decor combines Day of the Dead elements with a lively sports bar atmosphere, complete with numerous TVs. The place tends to get loud and crowded, especially on game days and Taco Tuesdays. Customers rave about the fresh tacos and dangerously tasty margaritas.
Came here for an early dinner on a Thursday and it was great! The vibe was really calm, there was only a few people in and you could tell they were getting ready for the later evening crowd. Interior vibe is really nice and looks like it would be a fun place to be on a Friday night. We ordered the nachos, two tacos and made it a meal with rice and beans, and got an ube margarita. The tacos were small, but were really delicious, and having rice and beans on the side was the perfect size for me. The nachos were crunchy, and the carne asada was tasty. Their ube margarita had a good amount of ube and coconut flavoring and the lime really came through to cut the margarita taste. Service was also super friendly and attentive.

A solid choice. Portions are generous and the food is good. We had fajitas and loved how much guac we got! The specialty Marg's are worth the price. I was skeptical and tried the jalapeno fire one and it was fabulous.
Mara V — Google review
First I will say our server was very nice. But the server doesn’t make a restaurant solely by itself and I can deal with a restaurant if the food is good. However the food we ate was delivered to us in about 20 min intervals and there was 4 of us so we pretty much all ate separately. The time it took to push the food out was incredibly slow. My food was ok but everyone else complained about theirs. Our friend got the birria tacos and she said it all tasted burnt. Her man found a hair in his but powered through. My fiancée ate last out of everybody and the fajitas that she got were wildly undercooked. The peppers were raw and meat seemed dry like it had been sitting out for some time.
Shawn S — Google review
These are by far the best street tacos and nachos I have ever eaten the service was quick and the server Bekah was all smiles and friendly loved it just loved it will be back soon.
Kimalee C — Google review
I have lived in Spokane for just under five years and have eaten many places. But none have been as amazing as this place. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was something for everyone. The outside seating was great too for a warm summer evening. Bekah was more than happy to recommend some of the more popular menu items and was a delight to speak to. Not to mention she make a great margarita. I have eaten a lot of Birria tacos over the past five years at different places since the craze caught fire but by far this place hands down serves up the best Birria tacos I've been able to get my hand on. They were crisp, loaded with some of the best barbacoa I've had. Thanks Borracho. I think I may have just found my new favorite place in Spokane to eat. Definitely going back.

Absolutely love Borracho! This place nails it every time with incredible tacos, top-notch tequila selections, and a lively atmosphere that makes every visit a blast. The food is fresh, flavorful, and creative — hands down some of the best tacos I’ve had. What really sets Borracho apart, though, is the service. Anthony and Miles always go above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a full night out with friends, Borracho is the place to be. Highly recommend!

I have gone here religiously for multiple years and the reason I keep coming back is for the bartender Becka. The food is good especially for being bar food. But the service I get from Becka is absolutely amazing. Not only is she always the highlights of my night- but during the day is an amazing server, even if it’s busy she still gets the job done from what I’ve observed. Bars can be a fun time- but the bartender can make it the best experience and most memorable time.

Donut Parade is a 24/7 doughnut shop located on North Hamilton, just a short drive from Gonzaga University and the NorthTown mall. Established in 1968, it has been a beloved spot in the Gonzaga district of Spokane. After briefly closing down, new owners have kept the tradition alive. Older building needing some TLC, service was slow and the person waiting on us didn't seem to know the products and he was difficult to hear not sure if it was him not speaking loud enough or the noise from the fans they had running either it was difficult. The donuts we purchased were ok but nothing special

I love donuts and donut parade sells them (almost) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They’re quality donuts and I find myself going back over and over again because they’re so great. The only drawback is I feel like the maple bar has more of a butterscotch frosting than maple but now that I know to expect it I’m not bothered. Happy to recommend to anyone looking for a good donut spot in Spokane.

Nathan and his staff do a great job. The doughnuts are not your basic grocery store doughnuts. Bigger and far better. Great selection too. Well worth the price.

We love everything we've tried here! Custard filled is my go to, but the apple fritters are a close second. Great texture & flavor, fresh, & very reasonable pricing. Staff is always nice and accommodating. Thanks doughnut parade!

It's an old run down place, but has a bit of nostalgia to it. The doughnuts are ok, they dry out way too fast, but they are good. Kids can color a picture at home that they provide for them and get a free doughnut on their next visit. This got me to come back... My kids colored that things so fast lol Local business, support them if for nothing else than that.

Visitors can find fresh baked goods, sandwiches, espresso, smoothies made to order as well as lovely gift items including cards and skincare products.
Rocket Market on South Hill is a delightful culinary gem, perfect for anyone seeking a delicious and varied menu. During my visit, I ordered the Toasted Apple, Ham, and Brie sandwich, which was incredibly tasty and exceeded my expectations. The harmonious blend of sweet apple, savory ham, and creamy Brie, all perfectly toasted, made for an exceptional sandwich experience. The market offers a diverse selection of food, including comforting soups, hearty pasta dishes, and a variety of other to-go options, making it an excellent choice for any meal. Excellent beer/wine selection, excellent deli, charming and eccentric mix of groceries, great seasonal produce, outdoor seating, live music and wine tasting?! I'm not sure how they've managed to pack all this into a small space but they did. To top it off they staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Rocket Market is a jewel in South Hill's crown.

Locally-owned Rocket Market grocery store and fueling station is a worthy food gem destination. This soulful Spokane southhill biz serves a cornucopia of delightful fresh and dry goods coupled with stunning cheese & to-go food. There’s even a filtered water station next to a vast wall of local and imported wines making any wine sommelier smile. Front checkout counter has an alluring dessert case and high-end espresso beverages. Many local and super-local vendors such as Anvil Coffee, hand-made earrings and clothing items. Southeast side has several tables for wine tasting, or having coffee with friends. Outside - several tables for hanging out, and summer-time brings live music! High quality, mostly organic fresh fruits, vegetables, wine, beer, cheese, chocolates, desserts, flours, chips, hummus, etc…and best of all, the vibe here is friendly and super welcoming!

The best niche grocer in all of Spokane. Prices are pretty cheap in comparison to others, they offer organic and hard to find products including a wide variety of wine and craft beer. A must visit spot :)

Amazing experience, staff was amazing! Room was nice and the amenities are off the charts!!! I booked this through an app and only saw some pictures and didn’t realize it was such a nice place! I am blown away, I want to come back!!

I loved this little hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, especially the beds. I loved that there were 4 big pillows on each bed, and they didn't hesitate to bring a few more when asked. I just had surgery and needed more to get more comfortable! We had a quick breakfast in the morning in a little cafe they have in the hotel, not the greatest but not the worst.

Okay, we loved this place. We stayed in the lilac suite, 3rd floor overlooking main street and Spokane falls. This place is beautiful and there's a pool, full indoor court, lockers, central location. The ice machine is broken and the TV setup is inconvenient. But still loved the stay enough to drop all five🌟. If you choose TSC then be sure to visit the Guilded Unicorn. Also not disappointing 🦄🍹😄 Edit: I really don't like doing this but upon checking out the clerk was very impolite and unprofessional and I have deducted all service stars. Truly disappointing.
Ben A — Google review
Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and we cannot recommend it. Two months prior to our scheduled arrival, we made a confirmed booking through their online portal. Upon arrival, we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled due to alleged attempts to contact us. Initially, the staff stated they had no contact information for our booking. However, after presenting our confirmation email, which clearly displayed both our email address and phone number, they claimed to have sent cancellation notifications to a different, incorrect email address. Despite the clear error on their part, the staff offered no assistance or resolution. We were left to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, resulting in significant inconvenience and a doubling of our expected hotel costs. This situation reflects a severe lack of organization, communication, and customer service. We strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution when booking with this establishment.
Uday A — Google review
I honestly don’t even know where to start. First of all, the parking situation is ridiculous—you have to leave your car blocks away in a sketchy neighborhood and hope it’s still there in the morning. Once inside, things only get worse. The bathroom had broken tiles *and* an actual hole in the floor. Not even exaggerating—*a hole.* The furniture looks like it was pulled from a garage sale in 1974, and not in a charming vintage way—just old, dingy, and depressing. The whole place feels like it hasn’t been cleaned or updated in decades. Everything is super dated, and the vibe is honestly bizarre. I sent an email to management but never heard back.
Sarah H — Google review
Checked in to find the previous occupant's lunch trash in the bedroom wastebasket. No big deal. Sat on the edge of the bed and slid to the floor -- the king size mattress was on a queen size frame. Still no big deal -- kind of funny! Late that night opened shower curtain to discover lots of long black hair on the shower wall. Sigh. Too tired to deal with changing rooms. Quickly discovered there's no heat in the bathroom. Soon after discovered that the thermostat in the room did not work -- the room never got about 64 degrees F. Slept in fleece with all the blankets on. Next morning sitting in hot bath gave a good view of the inside of the toilet bowl and the mildew ring under the rim. Checked out, asked the desk person to have a Manager call me. Nobody did. Went to hotel bar to wait for flight time, ordered potato vodka, was told they were all out. Server offered apple vodka instead, and said it tasted "clean, like vodka -- not like apples." Drink came, and smelled like an Apple Jolly Rancher. One sip of an Apple Jolly Rancher-flavored dirty martini is enough. Asked server to replace it with plain vodka, and she attempted to argue me out of my position. "I don't taste apples. It just tastes clean, like vodka." Held my ground. Customer Satisfaction Survey arrived by email the next day. Completed it and checked the box asking for a Manager to contact me. That was four days ago. Crickets. Maybe try the Historic Davenport?

Casual Friday Donuts is a quaint donut shop that offers a variety of gourmet flavors, making it stand out from the rest. The owner takes pride in baking fresh and delicious donuts every day, ensuring customer satisfaction. Customers rave about unique flavors like Butterfinger and Double Chocolate, as well as the innovative Coca-Cola glazed donut. The friendly staff and large, tasty donuts make it a must-visit spot for any donut enthusiast.
They do have real donuts!!! They are so good and fresh!!! The guy at the counter is so nice too. My son would normally just eat the toppings of any donut, but at Casual Friday today he ate most of his donut. These donuts are way bigger than what we get from grocery stores. The place is so nice, especially in the morning.

First time here. The shop is small and has coffee on the menu, though I didn’t try it. I asked the price for a dozen donuts and was told $30, but when I checked out, I was charged $35. It was also a bit hard to communicate with the staff. The donuts aren’t terrible, but are they worth $35? Not really.
C. F — Google review
Overall the dough has a good texture and taste. Any of the filled doughnuts (jelly and custard) are very disappointing. They could be great, but need more in them. The filling is only in 1/4 of the doughnut or less. I really liked the blueberry cake doughnut, but wish it didn't have such a thick coating of glaze. A light layer would be good, but there was just too much.
Alli — Google review
The maple bar frosting itself had a great flavor, but the donut was very dense, doughy, and slightly wet. It seemed to me like it wasn't completely cooked all the way through, but wasn't totally raw. Even my kid didn't want to eat all of hers. We were both excited to try a treat from here for the first time, so it was pretty disappointing.
Lexi T — Google review
Pros: free parking and helpful staff. They also had vegan donuts. Cons: Probably the worst donuts of my life. The vegan donut was so bad it was inedible. The maple bacon was mediocre at best with way too much frosting to cover up the bad dough. The raspberry filed was decent. My total was about $10 for 3 donuts. The store seemed dingy and dirty. Definitely will not be back.
Wendy — Google review
I got a half dozen Vegan donuts and all of them were completely raw in the middle :( I've gotten their donuts a few times and this is the first time so I don't think it's normal for them, just really disappointed this time around. I think the dough was too thick to cook all the way through, felt very heavy.
B B — Google review
Super cute shop. The layout is small but done well and seating is spacious. Their donut selection seams a little limited. That said I think it's because they focus on quality and not quantity. Service was very good and warm. Our conversation was very natural and not forced/fake. Definitely will be coming back.

On the morning of Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, I experienced Casual Friday Donuts in the Spokane Valley for the first time. I went inside to place my order and was assisted by Audrey who was really nice and helpful. Because the old fashioned donut I purchased was small, she added an additional old fashioned donut to our box at no extra charge. In addition to the old fashioned donut I also picked out a maple bar, chocolate sprinkle (called a “Homer” in honor of the Simpsons), apple fritter, and a raised donut filled with a peanut butter-type icing. All donuts have their own prices and my order totaled $14.95. I brought the donuts home and presented them to my wife as it was her birthday. She was really pleased but graciously shared them with me. I tried the raised donut, the apple fritter, and the maple bar. All three donuts were delicious, fresh, and filling. The raised donut was especially filling and the peanut butter icing was a nice touch. Believe it or not, the maple bar was probably my favorite. Overall we were satisfied with Casual Friday Donuts. Of course you are going to pay more than you would at a grocery store bakery but for a special treat every now and then I think that is okay. Our family tradition is to always pick up donuts on the morning of birthdays so we will return to Casual Friday.

1st time here. A Monday at about 1030am. Upon walking in was greeted with a great big huge display of buy one get one free bread! Perfect just what I came here for. Got 2 loaves. Walked up to counter inquired if they could slice the cheddar garlic loaf I'm getting. They can not. I guess the cheese gums up their machine? Ok. Next looking at cookies, realized they have no, JUST chocolate chip? It was with oatmeal as well. I asked and they do not. Looked at small loafs, but again it's pumpkin AND chocolate chip. I want one OR the other. Not both combined. Ugh. Settled on a blackberry scone that looks great. Upon eating though, they is barely any berry flavor. Oh well. Good prices on everything can't complain about that.

My husband and I were making some health changes in our food and discovered this amazing bread maker. We love the atmosphere and the people are so friendly. We live in Nine Mile Falls and drive over to get the bread. It's a good distance but we feel it's so worth it because it's such delicious bread. Thank you too the owner and staff.

They've made it pretty clear they don't care about their gluten free customers. They make a great made-without-gluten bread that sells out, but they've stopped making it. That combined with difficult hours, and other things where the employees just seem indifferent, gives me the whole vibe of "the company as a whole doesn't care about what the customers want" . Too bad, but I'm not wasting any more time on the "local" "employee-owned" business that has worse customer connection than big chain Grocery stores.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great environment, professional, knowledgeable and inspiring instruction. Food was amazing. Our chef, Jaime Aquino was brilliant. Can't wait for another lesson and now we can prepare these receipes for friends and family. Well worth the price of admissions.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending several different cooking classes with Kitchen Engine, each with varying hands-on levels. Recently, I attended another master class by Jamie Aquino! I've been eyeing her Farm to Table class for a couple years and finally had the chance to attend with my dad. This class is great because you also get a trip to the Kendall Yards Farmers Market where Jamie breaks down what's in season and an ideas for how to use various ingredients. You shop along with her as she picks out the main ingredients for the class and have time to shop yourself before getting started with the actual class back at the Kitchen Engine. Her classes and dishes are vegetarian and plant-based so you leave with nutritious and delicious recipes. My only disclaimer is that this class (and really any class) will be challenging for those with mobility issues. The walking involved at the market with this class and the bar stool seating for the 3-hr class was difficult for my father, who has mobility issues. That said, he has a blast. Just a callout so you know what to expect.
Bri K — Google review
I have been shopping at the Kitchen Engine since it first opened. It is where I learned to make sushi, pasta and huevos rancheros. It is also where I bought what turned out to be the perfect Christmas gift for my son in law because of the advice I received at the store - a knife a year to build a set that he cherishes. . I always feel like a valued customer and the advice I have received when making decisions on what will be best for my home or for gifts to the food lovers and cooks in my life has been spot on. Stop by once and I truly believe you will keep coming back.

Okay how does this place not have a line out the door at all times. It has the cutest aesthetic and patio. I walked in and knew this would be my go to coffee shop ❤️ the pastries are a 10/10. So far I’ve tried the pecan bar and the cinnamon pop tart. The coffee is also delicious. If you ever want to go out for coffee definitely opt for this cute spot.

What a wonderful little bakery. Truly a gem. I stopped by this morning after reading the reviews and wanting to find a little spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee, maybe a baked good. It was the perfect morning that I needed. The store is quaint and lovely but the patio is the magic spot to be. Lovely flowers in various stages of bloom filled the air with a gentle sweetness. The patio is covered from the sun and a gentle breeze rolled in every now and then. I sat for several hours enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, reading a good book and sipping my coffee. I tried a few of the treats and the pecan bar was incredible. I haven't been home in nearly 6 months and I was craving a good homemade chocolate chip cookie, the kind with slightly crunchy exterior but a good soft chew in the middle and there's was everything I was hoping it would be. I love this little shop, so glad I stopped in.

Here is a warning to anybody who eats at this place, I have come to find out that the owner leaves Dairy cones that are supposed to be refrigerated out all day in her presentation boxes right out front by the register, I have also come to find out that she sold a day old cherry pie that was left out all night to a customer, she doesn't follow standard sanitation responsibilities, I was also informed that she uses day-old sanitation water to clean her equipment she does not follow the health department guidelines to where the sanitation water needs to be changed every two to four hours, also she doesn't test her sanitation water to make sure it is up to code, she treats her employees like garbage in fact I was informed that one of her employees was given a two-day notice to make a $1,000 wedding cake which in my 15 plus years of cooking experience as a chef is totally unacceptable, at minimum a $1,000 three-tier wedding cake is supposed to be given at minimum a week to two week notice. for everybody's health and safety I would recommend someone to call the health department on this woman because she does not clean properly, her Bakery might be called made with love but it is more like made with greed because she rather try to make the money then try to do it out of love she is trying to get her hands in every company that she can before even able to produce the items that she says she's going to, furthermore I have been informed that she does not listen to the customers complaints in fact she never gets back to the customers that complains, she is under the impression that her being self-taught is better than listening to somebody who went to actual baking School for Everybody's Health and safety I would highly not recommend eating here she will make you sick if not worse

The shop also hosts wine-tasting events, cooking classes, and serves a delectable in-store menu featuring charcuterie plates with an ever-changing variety of cured meats, cheese, crackers, olives, and nuts.
From initial contact and catering for our 65 person event for the Spokesman Review. Amber went above and beyond. Providing advice on setup and an excellent selection of wine that rivals and exceeds most local wine cellars. While their wine stands tall, their catering of select cheeses, meats and dried fruit paired wonderfully with the wine selection. If you are thinking about catering with Wanderlust or just popping in, you should! you found a gem of “all things wine” in our corner of the Pacific Northwest.

Fantastic selection! I popped in to have a look. Bought a chunk of cheese, and, one of meat, that looked good. Just opened them to have a snack... OMG - they are lovely! Staff was friendly. Limited selection (mostly a wine shop)~ fantastic, though! Prices are by the ounce, and a little spendy. Totally worth it!

Wanderlust is a unique store that somewhat defies definition. A large selection of wine and gourmet cheese, fine dining cooking classes on appointed evenings, a casual place to hang out with friends, play some chess or games while enjoying a snack, all hosted by a wonderfully knowledgeable owner. The staff are all a pleasure to be around. One of the walls has wooden crates with family names, which allow the regulars to purchase a bottle of wine (or whatever) and leave it at the store so they can stop in, at any time, for a relaxing moment. Lots of specials and events. You owe it to yourself to check it out. I tried some Roquefort cheese and it was seriously worth the trip!

Great cake and great cookies. My favorites are the butter pecan cookies and huckleberry thumbprint cookies- great texture and flavor! Reasonably priced. My favorite of the sliced cakes are the chocolate cake with chocolate chip frosting, the tuxedo cake and the mini birthday cakes. Yum!!
