Park
Nature & Parks
Riverfront Park, the site of the 1974 World's Fair, is a 100-acre oasis in Spokane that offers a blend of natural beauty and urban attractions. The park features iconic landmarks such as the clock tower, giant wagon, building blocks, and the world fair tent. Families can enjoy picnics by the river and entertainment for kids while taking leisurely walks. A recent addition to the park is the ice ribbon that provides a unique experience around Downtown Spokane.
Iconic, Scenic, and Full of Photo-Worthy Moments – A Must-Visit in Spokane Riverfront Park is a spacious and beautifully designed urban park that offers a wide variety of attractions for visitors of all ages. From unique playgrounds and sculptures to multiple waterfalls, bridges, and scenic photo backdrops, there’s something to explore around every corner. One of our favorite features was the upper waterfall, which offers a dramatic view, especially from the large bridge that makes for the perfect photo opportunity. There are several bridges throughout the park, each offering different angles and perspectives of the falls and river. While some areas have limited shade, the park is ideal for a leisurely stroll, and the natural beauty combined with art installations makes it a must-see for anyone visiting Spokane. The lower waterfalls are smaller but still charming, and the park’s iconic views help capture the essence of the city. Another perk? The shopping mall right next to the park. On a hot day, it was a great place to cool off with full AC, grab a drink, and enjoy its modern, clean design. We especially appreciated the thoughtful lighting fixtures, photo spots, and how open and stylish it felt—definitely not your typical mall layout. Even better, My Fresh Basket—a health-focused grocery store—is conveniently located nearby. It’s a fantastic option if you want to grab fresh, organic food or snacks without eating out, especially for those on the go or watching their diet. With plenty of street parking and mall parking available, Riverfront Park is incredibly accessible and well worth the visit. Whether you’re there for the waterfalls, the photo ops, or just a peaceful walk, this park truly captures the heart of Spokane.

Riverfront Park is absolutely beautiful — the waterfalls are stunning, and the gondola ride gives you amazing views of the river and city. It’s a perfect spot for walking, relaxing, and taking pictures. The only downside is that there are too many homeless people around, which can make certain areas feel uncomfortable. Other than that, it’s a must-visit for the scenery and attractions.
Ifrat H — Google review
We hung out at Riverfront Park on a Thursday evening and had an awesome time! Rented some Lime scooters and cruised around as the sun was setting — such a pretty time to be there. The park has great views and a really nice atmosphere. I only had a short time to explore, but it seems like there’s a lot more to do, so I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend stopping by or spending an evening here if you’re in Spokane!
Marshall C — Google review
The park is a lively and picturesque destination, brimming with a variety of activities, captivating artwork, and meticulously maintained gardens and pathways that showcase breathtaking views of the landscapes and waterfalls. Security is readily available for your peace of mind. However, be aware that parking near the park is limited, with fees starting at $5.
Justin B — Google review
This is a great spot to check out in the middle of the city. Nice easy walking. Lots of stuff to see for everyone of all ages. History about the city. Play ground for kids. Water fountain to cool off by. Large out door cable structure, music venue Old vintage bridges over the amazing, multiple level falls on the river. A must see
Andrew M — Google review
Beautiful Park! Thoroughly enjoyed walking through and taking in all the beautiful scenery. Very clean and well maintained. So much to see and do. Fun for kids! Our kids loved the unique playground and red wagon slide. Keep your eye out for yellow bellied marmots on the rocky areas near the river. They are so cute!
Stacie P — Google review
Riverfront Park is very cute! Has decent pathways and views! There's access to the river where a few locals fish. A few grass patches where you can set a blanket down and have a picnic or just chill! A couple of landmarks and where the Garbage Goat is also located!
Riggs C — Google review
Riverfront park is a must visit to me. It is beautiful and during events like today, “pig out in the park” it has so much to experience. Even a calm quiet day it is great to see beautiful things and has a nice park for kids to enjoy.

Gardens
Manito Park, a 78-acre park opened in 1904, is a stunning outdoor recreation and leisure area in Spokane. The park features various gardens such as rose, lilac, formal, and native plant gardens along with a picturesque pond. With its immaculately tended terrain spanning 90 acres, including an arboretum, conservatory, and botanical gardens named after the Algonquin word "manitou," meaning fundamental life force animating all things.
Have always loved this park. Ample areas to walk throughout. They really did a good job with cleaning up the pond too. You can see the beneficial plants on the bottom. They do wonders to keep the water clear. Great place to take a walk, run, a bike ride, and enjoy the great scenery.
Jakob Z — Google review
“Absolutely Stunning Park – A Must Visit in Spokane!” I can’t say enough good things about Manito Park! The gardens are breathtaking—each one feels like stepping into a different world. The Rose Garden is so vibrant and colorful, the Japanese Garden is incredibly peaceful, and the Duncan Garden looks straight out of Europe with its perfectly designed symmetry. I loved wandering around the walking paths and taking in the beautiful landscaping—everything is so well cared for. The Gaiser Conservatory was also a treat, with unique plants and flowers you don’t see every day. What makes this park extra special is that it’s completely free, making it such a gem for locals and visitors alike. Whether you want to take photos, enjoy a picnic, or just relax and breathe in nature, this is the perfect spot. I’d highly recommend visiting in spring or summer when everything is in full bloom, but honestly, it’s gorgeous year-round. Definitely a 5-star experience! 🌿🌸🌹
Charu B — Google review
Manito Park is pure magic! 😍 Absolutely loved everything — it’s so beautiful, you can’t stop staring at the flowers, trees, and ponds. Total fairytale vibes! The atmosphere is so cozy, like a hug for your soul. The park is perfectly maintained, with spots to chill, snap pics, or just soak in the nature. Amazing for family walks or solo escapes. I’ll be back a million times and recommend it to everyone! Spokane, you nailed it!
The F — Google review
An absolutely gorgeous park, lovely enough for a movie set. There is an annual garden, a perennial garden, a conservatory of inside plants that you can look at early in the day when it's open, an Oriental garden that also has limited hours, and a beautiful pond with a nice walking path around it. There are also sports courts, walking trails, and at least one really nice playground.
Ballaurena13 — Google review
My first visit to Manito Park was in the Fall of 2004 when my husband and I were newlyweds. After many moves to different states and several years later, life brought us back to where our lives began together in Spokane. We love visiting the many gardens as a family with our sons. My husband and I visited the Rose Garden together a couple years ago in October. The rose blooms were plentiful and spectacular in the middle of October! It was such a peaceful experience. We visited Duncan Gardens on my Birthday in July this year and just recently this past weekend we visited the Japanese Gardens. I find so much joy simply being in nature and there is so much beauty to appreciate in Manito Park. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. I always enjoy seeing people enjoying the park and gardens as well. It’s a great place to be and visit anytime of year! Walking down Manito Boulevard and around the park on the pathways during the Fall with the golden leaves everywhere is amazing! I love it so much and the best part is it’s always free to visit!! Manito Park has always been a beautiful blessing full of joyful memories for my family.
Jen N — Google review
Fantastic park - Spokane is truly lucky to have this place. Multiple gardens to walk through and the care and upkeep effort really shows. Duncan gardens is a grand landscape of flowers, with a conservatory attached. Incredible amount of species inside this building. Rose garden was our favorite- incredible how many different roses can be found here. The Japanese garden was beautiful as well. Hard to believe this is all free- I have paid to enter botanical gardens that don’t come close to this. So many enjoyable walking paths, benches and shade can found throughout the park. There was a cafe as well! Parking could be a problem where you want it- but numerous small lots exist around the park.
Paul P — Google review
Stunning! It feels like what I imagine stepping into a European garden would be like. Perfect place for a photo shoot! It's so grand and colorful and made me feel instantly happy and lighter. I wish I'd gotten an overview pic but I mostly took close ups!
Bex G — Google review
Wow! What an awesome park! There are some great playground areas, a small lake and a very beautiful flower garden. There is also a solarium with tropical and dessert plants. There are walking paths and several parking spaces throughout the park to provide ease of use. There are probably several restroom areas but the one we found was attached to the solarium. I would love to revisit in various seasons.

The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, affectionately known as the MAC, is a vibrant hub that beautifully intertwines regional history with art and culture. This eclectic museum offers visitors an immersive experience through its diverse permanent collection, which features textiles, paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures. The MAC not only highlights the rich heritage of American Indians but also embraces contemporary creativity with rotating exhibitions and traveling displays across its five galleries.
The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. The samurai exhibit was amazing and the Campbell house was set up beautifully. I can’t wait to go back! Also tickets were very affordable and I believe kids get in for free.
Sarah S — Google review
The museum is much more expansive than it seems from the outside, featuring three levels in the main building, a charming art gallery, and the historic Campbell house along with its carriage house. The exhibits are thoughtfully arranged and brilliantly lit, weaving together captivating narratives of history, culture, and change. If you find yourself in Spokane, this is an absolute must-visit! You certainly won’t be disappointed, and the admission fee is quite reasonable at just $15 for adults.
Justin B — Google review
For years "The MAC" has been a place my family and I have enjoyed visiting periodically and they never cease to disappoint. With the newest addition to our family, my wife and I took advantage of the Bank of America Museum days offer and ventured to the latest showcase. It was just so beautifully done and incredibly unique learning about the indigenous origin stories of a First Nations group in British Columbia. The art was superb and story telling very involved and thoughtfully showcased. It's a peaceful museum that regularly has exhibits suitable for the family. We toured the Campbell House while we were at it and love how well they have restored and preserved the history of Spokane and it's architecture. It's certainly worth a visit any day any time of the year and we'll continue to come for years.
David ( — Google review
Definitely do some research about what’s on display before you go and check for any other closures. We visited earlier in 2025 and the basement of the Campbell House was closed for repair and they were in the middle of redoing one of the main exhibits in the museum. We were offered a rain check to come back for the Campbell House but not the main museum. Word of warning-the rain checks are printed on receipt paper and are heat sensitive. I kept it in the car so we would have it when we returned but after hot Spokane summers, the paper had just turned black. Also, the Campbell House doesn’t open at the same time as the museum so if you want to see both, check the hours ahead of time. We did go back this past weekend and were able to see everything we missed the first time around. They do a great job of showcasing everything.
Tricia M — Google review
I really enjoyed discovering this gem of a museum while exploring Spokane. There are some nice permanent exhibits they chronicle the local indigenous peoples. In addition, the museum produces high-quality traveling exhibits like the Samurai and photography exhibits on display when I visited.
Matthew B — Google review
Had a wonderful time visiting NMAC and artfest today. The Campbell house was amazing too! Lots to see and learn. The $5 entrance fee was definitely worth it. A must visit!
Yunika L — Google review
Way Kool place. Samurai, Sunrise, Sunset exhibition way kooler. The Campbell House is a look and walk back in time. Friendly, helpful, informative staff. On street parking, limited but free. Fun for one or the whole family
Robin S — Google review
LOVE this place! It's amazing that a small museum like this can get such impactful and culturally important shows. The curatorial work done by in-house staff to highlight local history and culture is also so impressive. Additional educational programming is so creative and engaging. There is always something going on here and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Spokane, Spokane Falls is a breathtaking natural wonder that captivates visitors with its stunning beauty. This iconic landmark is surrounded by a sprawling 100-acre park, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. The falls consist of two distinct tiers—the Upper Falls and Lower Falls—each offering unique perspectives of the rushing water as it cascades through the city.
This is a great place for a rest stop when traveling. The Spokane Falls are right next to a city park. It is clean and safe to walk around.
Rachael D — Google review
Beautiful riverfront area around falls. Lots of parking options. We road our bikes around all the trails that meandered back and forth across the falls. Very nice area to spend a day. Many food options nearby as well
Jojo W — Google review
The waterfalls and immediate surrounding area are nice and the view is lovely but just tons of druggies everywhere.... It gets really bad about 2 blocks away where every street corner has people drugged up and some walking around on fentinol bent over like zombies... Totally creeped out not safe. We went at about 730-9am...
Shonna H — Google review
This was truly a memorable place to visit! Riverfront park is an amazing place to plan a family outing. The perfect mix of nature and city. There's a variety of dining options in the area. The many easily accessible paths allow visitors different angles of the falls. If you're looking for an up close view, consider taking the Numerica SkyRide! It's a budget friendly purchase and offer military and senior discounts, as well as group discounts. The line wasn't long and they were really efficient getting riders on and off. On the ride, there's audio of history with lots of great information to learn about. The only downside is inconsiderate guests who litter and parking is something that you'll definitely have to plan ahead of time. Overall a great experience! Please remember to keep our beautiful public areas clean and enjoy the beautiful views!
Shay S — Google review
Wonderful falls in the middle of Spokane. Great walk and many locals enjoying this attraction. Paid parking is about all you can find, but fairly reasonable and easy to pay for it in your phone.
Darrin F — Google review
Just beautiful..worth walking around to take in all the different views of the falls
Tara L — Google review
A must visit if you are in the area. The only thing I would say it could be difficult to find parking in this area and u have to pay. Its near the mall so you can do some shopping too.
Ana G — Google review
It’s nice with quite a few good spots to view from. I heard it’s more impressive in spring when there’s melt runoff. Spokane downtown seems mostly about eating and drinking so it makes for a pleasant family experience. Oh the over 100 years of hydro power is impressive. It’s free.

Gonzaga University is a picturesque campus with notable landmarks like the Charlotte Martin Performing Arts Center and McCarthy Arena, known for its strong basketball program. The Don Kardong Bridge, named after a local teacher and marathoner, offers a scenic walk across the river. The Jundt Art Museum houses an impressive collection including pieces by Chihuly, Warhol, and Adams. Additionally, virtual tours are available on their website.
Beautiful campus in a surprisingly cozy setting. Love the mature trees, brick buildings, and ornate cathedral. My wife is attending grad school here and she couldn't be more pleased with the high level of professionalism, and quality of her education.

I am a online student at Des Moines Area Community College, and I utilize the library here at Gonzaga once or twice a week to study, work on assignments, or take exams. Any College student can come here to use their library. You just need your government issued ID, and your College ID. I appreciate being able to use the facilities! Thank-you, Gonzaga Library and Staff!!

Visited the campus during a trip and was really impressed. Beautiful, clean, and full of history and pride. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, with a strong sense of community and spirit. You can feel the tradition and excellence just walking through. Go Zags!
Joshua B — Google review
I’m a student here, everything is great, staffs and teachers are awesome and patient. but except the dormitory, no AC mostly, poor ventilation, if you want to ventilate the room you have to make your door wide open and it directly facing the public hallways or areas usually. The first two years as an undergraduate is not allowed to live off campus and portable AC is not allowed for safety purposes so this situation is very unfriendly for students like me.
KF S — Google review
You have lost your way Gonzaga. Please find the moral high ground and stand up against tyranny by allowing students to protest. You're working against your own self interest. Do better.

Nature & Parks
John A. Finch Arboretum, located in Spokane, is a popular destination known for its diverse flora and picturesque landscapes. Spanning 65 acres along the Garden Springs Creek, this wooded area offers a serene setting for leisurely walks, picnics, and light hikes. Visitors can explore various terrains including pine forests and rhododendron-filled glens on guided walking tours.
I recently visited John A. Finch Arboretum and had a wonderful experience. The arboretum boasts a stunning collection of trees and plants, creating a serene and picturesque environment. One of the highlights of my visit was the charming creek that adds a peaceful, natural touch to the surroundings. The arboretum offers plenty of free parking, making it easy to visit without any hassle. It's a fantastic place to take a leisurely walk, snap some beautiful photos, and enjoy quality time with friends and family. The tranquil atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for relaxation and outdoor gatherings. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape into nature with plenty of opportunities for memorable photos and a great place to unwind, John A. Finch Arboretum is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful park, convenient urban escape. Spring is a great time to visit. Only thing missing is some sound barrier for the 195 and Sunset Boulevard. The constant buzz of the cars makes it hard to fully appreciate being out in nature.

A Peaceful Woodland Escape — Perfect for Families and Little Explorers! John A. Finch Arboretum is a slice of serenity right in the middle of Spokane. 🌿 The trails wind through lush trees, babbling streams, and open grassy areas that are perfect for kids to play and explore. We had so much fun hopping across the water, finding hidden little paths, and enjoying the quiet beauty of nature. It’s clean, peaceful, and super family-friendly. My little one loved the space to run around, and the teepee added such a fun, whimsical touch to our day. 💧✨ If you're looking for a calming nature escape that’s easy to walk, safe for little feet, and absolutely stunning — this is your spot. We’ll definitely be back! 🥰

This place is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, it is located between the freeway and sunset right at the climb out of Spokane. The noise is really excessive. Washington should really put sound walls along the freeway to protect this park, not to mention the people who live there. Otherwise, it is amazing and still 4 stars.
Adelle — Google review
Feels like you've stepped into a secret garden. The smell of fresh dirt and mulch softly fills your senses as you drive into the property. We slowly meandered to the end of the gravel road and parked in a small parking lot. Path leads gently downhill beside a small stream (tributary of the Spokane River). Mentally blocked out the nearby road noise and immersed myself in the canopy. Rounded a corner and discovered a half dozen Rhodies in various colors. Then an enormous pale pink Rhododendron. I had no idea they grew that big like a tree! We crossed the stream a few times with small waterfalls. The best part was walking barefoot across the soft grass. Spied a marmot, carefully stepped across pinecones. Grass was warm underfoot in the sun, and cool and dewy in the shade. The energy was magical. We rested at a picnic table under the shade of a large tree. Enjoyed the sights, but not the loud sound of the freeway.
Jennifer Q — Google review
Parking is ridiculous. But the experience is just so amazing. Fall weekends are lousy with photogs and their customers so be warned but they really only use the front half of the park closest to the parking lot. Once you get away from the parking lot it's rare to see other people.
N H — Google review
Beautiful area to walk through, so don't just drive by. You won't get the full experience unless you walk the trails into the forest. The flowers and trees are arranged along the path in a way that makes you feel like you are in a woodsy paradise. It's very well taken care of by park staff.

The Fox Theater, situated in Spokane, Washington, is a beautifully restored 1931 art deco movie palace that has become a focal point of the city's cultural landscape. Designed by renowned architect Robert Reamer, this historic venue boasts stunning architecture with intricate detailing and a grand marquee that lights up the night sky. Originally serving as a movie palace, the theater has been transformed into a vibrant performing arts space hosting an array of live performances including concerts, Broadway shows, ballets, and more.
Absolutely gorgeous theater! Before the Anne Wilson concert started, my daughter and I enjoyed looking at the incredible details of the auditorium. And when the lights go down and the spotlights come on, the roof is spectacular! Very plush seats, but the rows are pretty tight for leg room for us tall girls. Pretty sure there's not a bad seat in the house.

The Fox Theater is a beautiful example of an Art Deco Movie Palace. It was built originally for $1 million dollars in 1931... and was restored a few years ago for almost $9 million. It is absolutely beautiful, and is now home to the Spokane Symphony, and hosts some concerts and shows as well. I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance... it is an amazing place!

Gorgeous inside. The ushers were very polite and helpful, it was a breath of fresh air. I was up in the balcony and even when performers weren't using mics, I could hear loud and clear. I know the act is the main drag, but I love shows a little more when they're at the Fox.

We attended with a friend and my 2 daughters, all of whom loved the performance. The venue provided a great view from our seats and a pleasant reason to get dressed up and enjoy the holiday season! Merry Christmas and Good Bless! 🎄🎅☃️

What a beautiful theater! Not too large, not small either. The seats were deeper than I thought they might be and pretty comfortable! Plus the show we saw was fantastic! Would definitely come here again.

Nature & Parks
Riverside State Park spans 14,000 acres of woodlands along the Spokane River, offering a variety of outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and off-roading. It is easily accessible from Spokane and requires a Washington state park discover pass for parking. The park features numerous hiking trails with scenic views of the river and lake areas. Visitors can enjoy walking, mountain biking, and camping in well-kept grounds with options for full hook-ups.
Great easy loop trail plenty of parking and amazing views. You need the Discover pass to park. The trail is very easy to walk, the views are spectacular and is a very quiet place to gather your thoughts. We got there about 8 15 am and it was deserted but by 1000 am it got crowded. Porto John's and regular bathroom facilities are available at the parking lot. I highly recommend this location.

We attended an AERC endurance ride and camped with horses at the airstrip. The trail system here is quite remarkable. Many multi use trails with a variety of views and technicalities. We really enjoyed our ride (30 miles) and are already considering visiting again on our own. There was a new shelter with picnic tables. Bring your own shade and water in the summer. The weekend we were there, the water was turned off.

We stayed downtown at Ruby River Hotel. It's right on the Centennial Trail, & they allow ebikes in your room. The first day we went East, it was interesting, but no great. The second day we traveled west, a very interesting ride. We stopped for lunch part way, then rode to the military cemetery and back to the hotel. The trail was great, riding thru beautiful residential areas, thru some lightly forested areas above the river. About 20 miles? The 3rd day we drive to the military cemetery then ride to 9 Mile Falls, we enjoyed lunch at the riverside park, and then back. About 24 miles? The 3rd day was one of the best days I've had in quite a while. Staying downtown allowed us to walk to shopping and dinners, overall our trip was amazing!

Lots of hiking trails even a wooden bridge to cross the Spokane river as it rushes below you. Picuresk vistas and equestrian opportunities. If your passing through don't even think about missing this amazing park.

So close to the city and easy to access. So many miles of hiking trails makes for a new hike every time you visit. Bring your Washington state park discover pass though. 33 dollars a year is a bargain to access this park and every other state park. You can also purchase a pass for the day at the park for 10 dollars. Kiosks are available for that purpose. I go year round, highly recommend taking the kids out or bring the dog.
Daniel P — Google review
I live in Walla Walla and this place is always worth the drive to Spokane. Hardly anyone there. You need a discover pass to park at the trail head campground but there's a turnout a half mile before where the view is gorgeous and it connects to the main trail so I never pay. Also worth noting. Don't get confused by the fact that there are two parks, one on each side. I always put in the one that has the suspension bridge and do my exploring on that side. The other side of the river I believe there's a park of some sort bit these are all from the campground side. There's lots of trails if you cross the bridge and explore and the trail on the same side of the campground goes downriver and is really pretty

The Numerica SkyRide at Riverfront Spokane offers a 15-minute gondola ride with breathtaking views of the cascading waterfall and the city. This convenient and accessible experience takes you past City Hall, gradually descending 200 feet over Huntington Park Natural Area, under the Monroe Street Bridge, and directly over Spokane Falls.
Such a cool experience! I got to the Numerica Skyride right before closing and still had the chance to hop on — so grateful they let me in. Seeing Spokane Falls from that angle was absolutely spectacular. It’s a peaceful, scenic ride with stunning views you just can’t get from the ground. Definitely a must-do if you’re in Spokane!
Santi A — Google review
It is a pretty fun 15-20 minute gondola ride over the river. It's only about $14/ person. The views are pretty. I do wish it was a continous ride but it would probably only be like 10 minutes but it stops and goes as it let's people on and off. If it was any more expensive I don't think it would be worth it.
Nicole S — Google review
Came on a Thursday evening in October and had a great time. It wasn’t very busy, and we only waited about 10–15 minutes to ride. I paid to park in the mall parking lot next door, which was super convenient. We got a gondola all to ourselves, and it was quiet and peaceful as we went over the river. The weather was beautiful, though it did get a little warm inside the cabin. The ride lasted around 20 minutes and gave us amazing views of the Spokane Falls — really cool to see from that angle. Afterward, we hopped on some Lime scooters and cruised around downtown to keep the excitement going. I’d definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I loved this! I made a special trip to Spokane just to visit Riverfront Park! The sky ride is affordable and easily accessible. It moves slow to enjoy all of the surrounding views. I’d do it again! Got some great photos!
Barbie B — Google review
Wonderful attraction in the heart of what is hustling and bustling little city. The views were impeccable and the ride was worth the price. The Gondolas were very nice and cozy and takes upto 6 people per cabin. You get to look at the downtown, spokane river and spokane falls.
Sidharth J — Google review
Don’t bother. It’s a very short distance ride that would take 3 minutes if it didn’t constantly stop every 10 yards. It would be easier to just walk the steps next to the falls for a much better view and it doesn’t cost anything. Waste of time and money.
Laurence M — Google review
Charming little ride to see the falls from above. Located in a very family friendly public park with several other activities.

Was a nice long ride, gorgeous view of the waterfalls, and an informative free audio tour! The workers were very kind. We had a bad experience with some other riders while stopped and the workers were empathetic and helped us deal with the rude customers until the park rangers arrived. I was SO impressed! It is worth the money, and I appreciate them for making us feel valued. Thank you so much!!!

The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Spokane is a stunning example of classic Gothic architecture with a strong French influence. It has been a center for Christian worship and prayer for over eighty years, welcoming all to join in fellowship and ministry. The cathedral is made up of three smaller churches that have been combined over time to create one grand complex. Inside, visitors can admire intricate stained-glass windows and an elaborate labyrinth near the majestic altar.
Welcoming staff. Beautifully kept chapel. We lit some candles and just took in the amazing glass, architecture, dedications, etc. It was really peaceful and we enjoyed the moment together.

Great high end shopping center in Spokane. Williams Senona had the best holiday dishes ever. And the Pottery Barn has barrels chairs to die for. The food court can use some love with more choices but that was the only down side. Great place overall.

The bathrooms here are absolutely gross. In 4 stalls there were no toilet paper. 2 had poop and the toilet was not flushed. The floors are sticky and gross. This mall needs to take pride in itself. Many people come from out of town and stay at the hotels near the mall. It truly makes Spokane look gross. Do better. Its freaking disgusting.

Always fun shopping and having dinner downtown. The parking garage is easier than finding street parking, in my opinion. I like the photo display area, and it changes depending on the holidays. I see security all the time, so we always feel safe, too!

I visited Spokane for few days vacation with my family and shopping is always a part of our family vacation. Something interesting about this shopping area was the buildings are connected with bridges above the streets to each other. Ain building were in 3 floors and decorated nicely and well maintained. Food court is at 3rd floor. My only problem with this shopping mall was lack of the world know clothing brands. The location is in the heart of the Spokane downtown and next to famously known riverside park and falls. The parking lot charges you every half an hour and you can pay at the e d of your shopping. Roadside metered parking also available for max 2 hours and a bit cheaper. The accessible doors were available with push button at the entrances.

If you're a fan of Bing Crosby and can't resist singing along to "White Christmas," then the Bing Crosby House Museum at Gonzaga University is a must-visit destination. The Mobius Discovery Center in Spokane, Washington is an interactive playground that aims to spark curiosity and imagination in children through hands-on exhibits and activities. Located near City Hall Plaza, the center offers a wide range of experiences for kids, including learning about traffic and bicycle safety, creating art in the studio, playing with bubbles, experiencing eye exams, launching bottle rockets, solving brain teasers, building model bridges and buildings, and interacting with reptiles and other animals.
This place has so many things for everyone in the family. We easily spent two hours here and there was still more stuff that we could have explored. We loved it so much that we got a membership because this is definitely a place that we will come back to multiple times, especially in the winter when there isn't much to do outside. Mobius has quickly become my favorite place to bring my kids.

Fun place with plenty to do although smaller than expected. Very clean and organized with a variety of activities for a wide range of ages. My 9 year olds spent about an hour here. It’s definitely geared towards younger ages but they still enjoyed themselves and participated in almost every available activity.
Jaimi S — Google review
What a wonderful place to take the kids! I think the best age range is 3 to 10, depending on your kiddo. A wide variety of activities and things to see and do. We spent 2 hours. They have everything from a tarantula to paper airplane making station. My daughter loved the station where you made a paper rocket to launch up in the air and the play grocery market with a joining house / slide. Also, the excavator to dig sand as well as the large bubble making station. The staff were all attentive and friendly. I highly recommend taking your children here, especially now that we are in the colder months and they are cooped up most of the time. Good fun for everyone. The parking lot is very small and street parking is limited. I parked in River Park Square parking garage and had a very short walk north one block. $8 for parking when you arrive before 5pm.

Fun experience for the entire family extremely fun and enjoyable for the children. It’s centered around ages 2-12 but everyone had a fantastic experience. We had a birthday party that went very well. The daughter lost her toy and it was found by the time we got to the parking lot, and that’s across the street. Friendly staff clean restrooms clean environment all around. Fantastic views of the Spokane river and part of the falls. And the park is right outside. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Mobius is by far one of the best places to take your child for a day of adventure. It's extremely affordable and they change out the main exhibit often which means your child will never get bored of going, every time I take my son it's like we have never been there and I love this about Mobius. They also have an extremely friendly and helpful staff who keep things tidy while also educating your little ones of the different activities they can participate in. They also have a VERY affordable toy section, which makes his all worth the drive!

It's like a little OMSI if you have been to Portland. Perfect for younger kids! My four and five year old are obsessed with this place already. I was a little worried with my boy being neurodivergent and maybe it being too stimulating but he was in heaven. It met all his sensory needs with being able to touch everything. We were able to go to each station either by ourselves or just a few kids taking turns and that really helped with the noise and not being super overwhelming. We just got a membership here and can see us coming here all the time. Parking is a little challenging from what we can tell you kind of have to pay to park.
Cheyenne — Google review
Wow! This place is amazing and I am surprised there aren’t more locations all around the city and beyond. Took in 8 kids from age 6 to 17 and ALL kids had a blast and there was plenty to engage with, be curious about and mess around with. There were easily over 30 different little stations that interested the kids and 2 hrs wasn’t enough time! The admission is $10 per child but it’s an all day ticket so you can come early go get lunch or to the park and come back and enjoy! The staff there were amazing from entry to exit in in between visible around the stations. If you have kids you need to check this place out it is high interest and has something fro every kid, even live animals such as a snake, frog, lizard and tarantula! Best money can buy! Will come back again and look at getting yearly membership! Thank you Mobius and team for the amazing time!!!

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate this bridge since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for this bridge at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. Hate.

What an amazing venue to watch a show. Not only is the venue itself amazing especially with the lights on the cone above your heads but the Acoustics are great, the seating is great, and it is in a beautiful location in the middle of the Spokane River park. Centennial Trail in Spokane Valley offers stunning vistas and a safe route for hikers along the Spokane River. The trail is popular among outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities to launch kayaks or canoes from the rather steep river bank. While some sections may have homeless camps, the downtown area around Riverfront Park provides great family-friendly fun. The trail also features new bridges and beautiful views of Spokane's skyline and the river.

It used to be a pleasant, peaceful place to bring your family, walk your dog, or just enjoy the beauty of nature and meet new friends. Since the ebike became popular, the C Trail has become a bike speedway with most going far above the speed limit of 15 mph, maybe up to 30 mph or faster. They come up behind a walker so fast that it takes the peacefulness away and makes my dog so nervous that he's constantly turning to see what's behind us even when there's no one there. It has become safer to walk on the streets of the neighborhood than on the Centennial Trail.

The convention to get your bib number is truly special, and then the afterparty of the race just radiates Spokane pride. All of the volunteers rock! Honestly one of the best parts about Bloomsday is the people, standing along the road, only there to cheer you on and give you refreshment. An awesome event!

Campbell House is a historic house museum located in Spokane, WA, dating back to the early 1900s. It offers guided tours and showcases period decor that provides visitors with a glimpse into life in Spokane during the early 1900s. The house was designed by renowned architect Kirtland K. Cutter in an English Tudor Revival style and was once the residence of mining venturer Amasa B. Campbell.
Must see when in Spokane ! We had Erica as our guide and she was wonderful. The house is so well restored and much details to enjoy. Don’t forget to go to Wallace town; that’s where the Campbell family made it’s fortune in silver mining. We loved the tour there too. Thanks Erica !

This house is a good example of the Tudor Tevival style championed in the late 19th century by the scions of industry. The views offered of the valley below were we worth the visit alone.

Where else in Spokane can you visit an historic home from the Pacific Northwest's Gilded Age? There is so much to learn that stems from this house: Who was the architect? Who were the Campbell's? Where did their wealth come from? What was Spokane like when the Campbell's lived here? The Campbell's employed servants - what were their lives like? What happened to the house after the Campbell's moved out? So much to learn!
Erica D — Google review
It is a really interesting place to visit. Local guides give you a lot of information about Campbell's family and their house design. It incorporated all the great advancements in tecnologies for that period. You should buy a ticket in the northwest musuem of arte and culture nearby
Giovanni C — Google review
A very historical location that has been extremely well preserved. But, you MUST purchase entry to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture ($20 per adult) to gain entry to this iconic house. The self guided tour takes about 30 minutes.
Sports C — Google review
This house is an amazing glimpse into the past. I went here once as a child with my grandmother and always wanted to visit it again. My husband, niece, and I went to the Minecraft Exhibit which included the Campbell House so we took advantage of the opportunity. I don't know if going to just the Campbell house costs as much as it does to go to an exhibition too. But it was 20 for adults and 15 for kids/teenagers to do both (the Campbell's carriage house was also open to view). The house closes at 4pm so make sure you give yourself enough time. Lots of different stairways to adventure through the whole house (except the very top floor was closed off). There are benches to rest here and there for those who might have a hard time with stairs or to just sit and ponder the architecture. The rooms are beautiful and furnishings are extravagant. It's simply mind provoking to think about how this house bustled 125 years ago.

Amazing house. Try to go with a tour. They will tell you many details you won't know by yourself. Very nice to visit. A lot of historic things. This is a must-visit especially if you are interested in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Great place. Thanks for reading and God bless.

Nestled along the Spokane River, this picturesque park offers a diverse range of activities such as hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. Visitors can explore its extensive network of trails that lead to hidden waterfalls, wildlife encounters, and breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the river.
This is a gorgeous park! It’s well maintained. There are picnic tables, BBQ grills, campgrounds, restrooms and pet friendly. So many trails to walk your pet, ride your horse and cycling (traditional bikes and electric bikes). There’s so much beauty here. You simply have to pay a visit and check it out. You’ll be glad you did! 🤩

We enjoyed our stay at this CCC built state park. Sites one through 18 are on the river and much more spacious and have full utilities. We enjoyed the beauty of the Spokane River, walking across the suspension bridge and hiking the trails. The mosquitoes on the trail were very present, but in the campground we saw very few. There are flush toilets and warm showers. TMobile cell service was surprisingly slow given our proximity to Spokane. We did not have reservations beforehand and got the last space available on a Monday, Advise reservations. I rated the campground at four because of it’s expense and because the sites on the upper loop are a little tight.

I went almost 5 miles but I also didnt stay on the main trail. This place is absolutely breathtaking taking and only a 15 - 20 minute drive from Spokane. The views are breathtaking as are the trails. I saw lots of people walking their dogs on leash as well as riding their bikes through the trails. Plenty of parking there is even a camp ground. Definitely a beautiful place to come explore. Discover Pass required.

Wonderful trail network in Spokane. The trails offer a plethora of outdoor activity access including; mountain biking, hiking, running, walking and nature viewing. Dogs are allowed on leash. The mosquitoes were a bit voracious but, just wear bug spray or cover up. There is access to the Spokane river which is nice for a quick cool down. A discovery pass is required for parking. You can also purchase a day pass at the trailhead. Ample parking, toilets at the parking area, and day use picnic areas.

The Bing Crosby Theater, originally built in 1915 as a silent film movie house, has evolved into an elegant venue with a retro flair. Renamed after Bing Crosby's performance there in the 1920s, it now hosts a rich variety of live music, comedy shows, and other performances. With three renovations over its 102-year history, this 744-seat theater offers an immersive experience for attendees.
Perfect little venue with vintage vibes. A great spot to see your favorite traveling troubadour, comedian, or band entertaining the locals. The fact it’s named after Bing Crosby is just a bonus. One of Bing’s quotes about the city he called home… "We lived in Spokane, Wash., where a white Christmas is standard, and where skating and sledding were the big joys for the youngsters in those days." A white Christmas may not be as common anymore, but walking into this little venue gives me that same warm fuzzy feeling as Bing’s most famous movie does.

A very classic theater. The seats are a little uncomfortable and it is a small theater. The show was good and they have drinks and popcorn. The drinks need a lid, but if you are careful, then you will not spill it. The theater is old and it could use some cleaning. Not a bad experience. We had fun. I would not take small children here.

This place was absolutely awesome to see a rock concert. Seen the tribute band Nevermind (Nirvana) there and, being old now, it was honestly a perfect experience for an old, disabled metal head to be able to watch them from the edge of a balcony. Great time and awesome place. Popcorn was freaking good too. I mean, seriously, being old and beat down and having the option of enjoying a grunge show while sitting on you can and eating popcorn? Priceless... DON'T TELL MOM!

Pro: Beautiful older theater. All seats are good. Even the ones on the side. Con: will-call is in a cramped spot. Street parking is rough.
Beth — Google review
Went to see Swan Lake and I use the term “see” loosely. We had seats mid theater center stage. When the people seated in front of us arrived 2 minutes before the show started a large guy with a baseball hat sat directly in front of me and I could see absolutely nothing but his large head! Zero view of center stage! I scrunched down and leaned into my husband where I could sort of see part of the stage. Also the seats were brutally uncomfortable! due to them being worn out. My husband is 6ft 3 inches tall and even he was having trouble seeing! Thank god there were empty seats elsewhere. We moved to seats in the very back of theater after the intermission and had a great view (plus the seats in front of us were empty) Hooray! Pretty much our entire row had moved for the second half of the show. Enjoyed the show very much after we moved. The Bing is a cool old theater but definitely needs some new seats!

Small venue, can see the performers from any level of seating. Beer, wine, water bars can take to your seats. Cocktail bar on 3rd floor but can't take back to seats, never understood that. Restrooms small, only 2 stalls. For this performance, No Quarter, the vocals needed to be turned up a bit as it was hard to hear him from the top section. Parking around the theater isn't the best of course.

It was amazing for my first performance!!!! If I had the money I would go again! I was alittle sad the Hamilton cast wasn't the original people but thats okay cause the cast who did play was amazing. I cried alittle cause I was so moved and happy. Definitely a must see performance. The interstate center was great in itself. The view I had was almost perfect. The food and drinks and merch setups were in great spot. The people who were pulling security and handing out flyers inside were very knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely will be seeing more shows going forward.

Such a great venue for plays and events. We've been several times. Staff is always friendly. There's really not a bad seat in the theater. It's clean and spacious. It's obvious that they try and book quality events. Thank you, Spokane, for bringing culture to the PNW!

The first interstate Center for the arch is a beautiful theater. The seats are comfortable. There is lots of legroom and cup holders for your drinks. The sound is very Nice and any seat to set in has a great view of the stage. We had some snacks and drinks. They were also good. I enjoyed their cookies. Our show was wonderful

We attended an event tonight which was amazing, however the facility was so hot that people were sweating! We saw several people putting cold bottles of water on the backs of their necks and fanning themselves with whatever they could. It’s November, for reference. Additionally, making people wait half and hour after doors open to go to their seats creates overcrowded, uncomfortable waiting areas and causes people to be late getting to their seats, which then pushes show start times back.

We've seen many shows at FICA and we always enjoy them! Love that Broadway has been able to come to Spokane. Only negative is that lines do get long at the entrance, seating is tight, and parking is near impossible unless you go down the street a bit. Also exiting the theater can be a traffic jam with people trying to leave. A beautiful theater though with some great state of the art technology. Thanks for bringing the arts to Spokane!

Duncan Garden is a vibrant European Renaissance-style garden located within Manito Park in Spokane, Washington. Named after John W. Duncan, the former park superintendent, this garden features meticulously manicured displays and winding pathways for visitors to explore. Along with four other distinct gardens, Duncan Garden contributes to the park's national recognition for its diverse plant life and horticultural exhibits.
As a Spokane native, I’ve known about Manito Park and the Duncan Gardens since I was a kid. I typically come here every time I’m in town regardless of the season though the flowers really make this place special. Built as a sort of English Garden type set up, everything is perfectly arranged and symmetrical, which is amazing. The rose section is fabulous but I like the other side better. Plus, we went into the greenhouse for the first time and I can’t believe I had never been inside before. It’s fantastic. If you pay close attention, there are a few plaques nearby that give insight into some ugly history about this area featuring a past zoo with animals chained up. Very interesting place. Please don’t miss it. Michael Delehanty Compass Real Estate

This classic, Grand, old fashioned garden is a sign of how the wealth of a city can be spent to enrich the lives of all the citizens. It's a riot of color right now. Full of blossoms and happy families picnicking. Great care and design was put into the execution of various different gardens and the Japanese garden is another gem. I believe the Manitou park system was designed by the Olsen Brothers who also designed parks in Chicago. Don't forget the Geiger conservatory greenhouse! It's full of gorgeous tropical plants and cactuses. Lily and Casey are the gardeners inside, and they do a beautiful, caring job for the plants. A donation box is mounted by the door if you would like to help support their creative efforts, bringing rare plants from all over the world to Spokane.

Its absolutely insane that this trail stretches to Idaho. 37 miles of great outdoors. Some paved and some off beaten paths - but totally worth it. I hiked 37 miles to and from. That's 74 miles round trip - in a day. I left Renton WA at 4am Sunday morning, and arrived in about 6 hours taking a lot of scenic back roads. Be sure to be prepared for any weather changes. I prepped with rain hear just in case, but wasn't needed. It was a blazing 90-95 degrees. I made sure to bring a hydration pack with me to keep cold water on hand. Brought plenty of dollar store trail mix along as well. I was unsure if you could camp along the trail, but found signs saying 'no camping.' I stopped every 2 hours to take a 15 minute break for food and water. I left today (Monday May 31st) at 4:30am and arrived back at home at 10am. Gas is super expensive now due to creepy Joe Biden. I filled up a total of 3 times at an average of 40 dollars per fill up. If you have an electric vehicle like a Tesla, this trip is totally for you. Got a gas powered vehicle? Be prepped for high gas prices. Spokane came in at around 5.36 a gallon where I was at. Renton WA is at around 4.39 a gallon where I live. Having AAA is a safe guard in case you need emergency gas or towing. Luckily I didn't need to call. Willing to do this trip again in the future.

The water is so gross! Literally looks like bottom of a honey bucket. Ducks won't even go in. Way beyond any reasonable threshold. How could anyone let this get so bad? Looks poisonous to fish and anything else. Restrooms closed "out of order", honey bucket outside of bathrooms and it's full.
Ed — Google review
The fish pond is normally better than this, but the water conditions are unsafe for the Koi fish and they are coming up onto the surface of the water to show that they are in survival mode. The water has an oil like film on top of it and algae bubbles which means there is an imbalance in the water. this is not safe for the fish and needs to be talked about more. apparently, the staff don’t know what safe water conditions are for their fish. The park will not last longer if the maintenance stays like this!

This place is becoming severely overpriced for basic refreshments and parking. We recently won tickets to a concert here and parking would have ran us $45 so we parked elsewhere and walked. We grabbed a fountain drink which was around $13 but there’s nowhere close to fill your drink if you have floor seats.

This is such a great, fun arena. They do such a great job setting the stage of whatever event you are going to, be it monster trucks to comedy shows, to ice hockey, and beyond. Seatting isn't too cramped and it's hard to find a bad seat. The toughest part about the Spokane Arena is parking, but if you get there a little early you shouldn't have a big issue. All in all it's a great arena and generally a very pleasant experience!

A high screen to project the performances on would be really great for the shorter people attending events to still be able to see the performers when taller people in front are standing up. We got to see Apocalyptica's full performance, less than half of the Lindsey Sterling performance, and half of Halestorms performance, so I feel like we missed out on a lot of the full experience. Could hear ear bleedingly well though, Apocalyptica started out with a blast and Halestorm somehow finished up even louder.

The winery boasts a charming architecture and seasonal courtyard, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Their award-winning wines are crafted from grapes sourced from 10 different vineyards within Washington state, resulting in a signature style described as lush, fruit-forward flavor with silky mouthfeel and soft tannins.
Great wine tasting experience. Wines were delicious. Especially the blend and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Thank you Dianna for being so informative and friendly. Will definitely return

Cute winery with both inside and outside sitting (during summer). Being there while they have live music just makes the whole experience even more enjoyable! The customer service could be a bit on the serious and to the point kind and not feel as welcoming/warm. Overall a good spot to enjoy some wine!

Very cool place! Old historical building in downtown Spokane that has excellent space for wine tastings as well as events! The wine was good but not as good as expected. We did try another of their wines at another tasting and it was amazing though.

We recently attended a very enjoyable graduation event at the winery. The venue is historic and beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to create a memorable event, and of course, the wine was delicious. We have been to this winery before and we will likely visit again every time we are in Spokane. Barrister always provides a great time!

Another cool old building turned into a winery. They did a nice job of keeping some of the original feel while adding some nice upgrades. I was there for a private event, but sampled some of their wine and it's very good. They have lots of room inside, and a nice outdoor area. I was told the name comes from the fact that the winemaker was originally a lawyer.

First time in Spokane, this place is one of those wonderful hidden gems. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, the wines don't disappoint. I choose the 5 sample to see which one I would like better and the Sangiovese was my preferred one. Highly recommend.

Fantastic venue for events! Greg is so generous with local non-profit organizations and you can tell that he genuinely cares about people and our community. My friends rave about "Rough Justice" and Cabernet Franc. Last night we enjoyed Dave and Molly's "mid-week meet-up" and enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed for the live music of Spare Parts and dancing. Wonderful winery, place and people!

Absolutely wonderful, went with my mother in law to see Romeo and Juliet tonight and they did such an excellent job with the stage decor incorporating the entire story. I must say the one who played the nurse was my favorite for sure, I'll check her name when I find the booklet given to us and revise this but while I have the moment I just want to say thank you all of you for putting on such a wonderful play.

Intimate venue, probably 125ish seats. Sold snacks and wine and beer were available. We parked in a handicapped spot with placard, and got a ticket for non payment. So, beware of the nearby parking lots, they are privately owned but not well marked as a pay lot. The show itself was very special, with a cast of a variety of special needs adults and their shadow actors/prompts. Nicely appointed stage and good sound. Nice experience, less the 80$ ticket:)

Additionally, visitors can indulge in delicious pizza while watching TV sports or opt for local brews.
We had a birthday party her for my granddaughter's 6th bday. The staff was very helpful and attentive during our party time. All 10 children ranging from age 3-11 had a good time. It would be a nice place to spend a family day.
Christina F — Google review
I loved it beside allot of attractions we're closed due to staffing, many machines were constantly breaking or broken but the staff made things right and then some. Will be going back for the staff alone cuz they made my kids comfortable and safe. Indor mini golf was humid and I could smell mold. The 100 for 2 12 in pizzas, 2 pretzels w cheese and 3refillable drinks is what got me though 😩
Justina C — Google review
Claw machine picked up items, and then dropped them right away. Spent 50 bucks on claw machines did not win any prizes. Unusual for me, I usually win them easily at other places. The kids drove go karts, did the climbing wall, and played lazer tag. Things here seem a little expensive for what you get. Nothing seemed like a bargin or great deal. Gaming money didn't last long. Lots of nice newer machines. OK service. Employees didn't seem excited to be at work, direct and straightforward to answer questions. Did not offer suggestions. Average video game, mini golf, kid-fun kind of establishment.
Sarah C — Google review
Very family friendly place with plenty of arcades and games for all ages. Our toddler loves trying to get stuffed animals. Can add up fast, but is fun. Gets a bit warm in half of the building on hot weather days. Staff are friendly and helpful. If a machine isn't working they make things right quickly. Food is what you'd expect and is better than the local Chuck E Cheese. They also serve beer and cider for the adults. Would definitely recommend for a fun, quick day with the family.
Sean S — Google review
Amazing staff, we came for my daughter's 13th bday, and although we couldn't get a table reservation ahead of time, when we arrived for the party, the staff made sure to make her birthday so special! We got 3 pizzas that were sooo good and fresh, and the kids absolutely loved the atmosphere and the activities, and the staff were so great about any games that had glitches. 100% would recommend for any and every birthday party!! Totally worth it!
Heidi G — Google review
Wow. We were so disappointed in this facility! First, the arcade was so bad. 1/2 the machines didn’t work after you swiped your play card. Each game cost so many points that you went through your amount very quickly which isn’t fun for kids, despite buying the 35$ card. The claw machines made us so mad. Most would pick up a prize, bring it to the top then drop it and then move to the drop bin. Talk about a disappointed kid!!! The staff did reimburse points on our card for machines that didn’t work but then we had to wait in the long line to do so. When asked about the machines they said “it’s 6pm, that’s about when they stop working and need to be re started” what??? The games hardly racked up any amount of tickets. My son had 532 tickets at the end of it all, and that’s all he could chose from for prizes was lollipops, tootsie rolls and plastic rings. The prizes were an absolute joke. Moving onto indoor mini golf. It was dark, stuffy, and smelled weird down there. At least that was free for age 5 and under. Moving to the facility in general. The trashes were all over flowing, the carpets extremely dirty and not vacuumed, the floors were so sticky by the pop machine, and the bathrooms were gross too and not cleaned. We will never come here again! 0/10 recommend!!
Shayna B — Google review
We had such a great day at Wonderland Family Fun Center. The laser tag was a blast for all of us from ages 6 to 32. It was my first time playing and we even won as a family. The go karts were fast and fun, and I love that kids over a certain height can drive on their own. The bumper boats are almost back up and running, and it is great to see they already have new parts on order. The outdoor mini golf course was really fun and easy enough for my 6-year-old to enjoy without getting frustrated. One of the highlights was how kind the staff was. An employee gave all my kids a free slurpee to make them feel special. We also really appreciated the veteran discount of $8.99 off per person. Add in the tasty pizza and local brews, and it is a perfect family day out. We will definitely be back.
Harmony V — Google review
During my visit, I witnessed multiple instances of unsafe conditions that pose significant risks to children. Specifically, the establishment appears run down and overpriced for the services provided. Many of the arcade machines were non-functional, and the bumper boats were out of service. This significantly reduced the value of the experience. Additionally, I observed employees demonstrating favoritism by allowing their friends to ride the go-carts for unlimited times, which detracted from the experience for other customers who had purchased the "unlimited pass." This pass was falsely advertised as providing access to more options than were actually available, as it effectively only applied to laser tag, golf, and go-carts. Finally, as we were preparing to leave at 7:55 PM, five minutes before the advertised closing time of 8:00 PM, an employee was vacuuming in an unsafe manner, repeatedly pulling the extension cord between children's legs, creating a tripping hazard. In addition to the unsafe conditions and false advertising, I was also disappointed by the overall management of the arcade. The staff members were unresponsive and seemed uninterested in addressing the concerns raised by customers. This lack of attentiveness only exacerbated the existing problems and created a sense of neglect. I urge you to take these complaints seriously and implement immediate corrective actions to address the issues mentioned above. This includes ensuring regular maintenance of arcade machines and attractions, honoring advertised services, preventing employee favoritism, providing adequate supervision in all areas, maintaining a safe environment, and improving staff training and responsiveness.

The Spokane River is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for fishing, boating, and water sports. The area is maintained by the Spokane Parks and Recreation department with the help of volunteers, ensuring well-kept parks, riverbanks, and trails. Visitors can enjoy kayaking along the river from McGuire Park in Post Falls to Harvard Road in Liberty Lake. The scenic float provides a relaxing experience with picturesque views of mountains and old mining sites along the river.
Skill level - Novice: Took the Kayaks for a float down the Spokane River; we put in at McGuire Park in Post Falls and took out at Harvard Road in Liberty Lake - lots of activity on the water this time of year. This float took us about four and a half hours in two 12' kayaks. Discharge from the Post Falls Dam was reported by USGS at "07/28/2019 15:30 PDT 1,490 Cubic Feet Per Second (CFS), 5.52 Gage Height Feet, and 63.32 degrees Fahrenheit". We likely won't float this again in kayaks with water flows below these levels as some of the rapids and shallow areas were hard to navigate through without dragging in places - rubber rafts and inflatables weren't having much issue at this flow rate. It was a bit breezy in places (wind blowing upriver) and coupled with some of the slow water areas makes for a very long day on an inflatable - McGuire Park to Stateline would be a good starter run on an inflatable. Overall the trip was very enjoyable and the water was relatively warm but refreshing.

This playground is AWESOME! Busiest on the weekends! MANY benches for parents to sit and watch their littles play. ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PARENTS: There is a large sand play area! BYO sand toys like plastic shovels and buckets! We, the parents who bring our kids their own sand toys, look like @$$ holes when we remove the shovels from the sand pit and not allow other kids to play with them because some parents, and you know who you are, your kids will absentmindedly take the toys and walk off with them and you as the parents will not take them back and treat it like another handout! BYO toys for your kids!! Thank you!

Fabulous park with plenty of options for all age groups. Great play structure, splash pad and basketball hoops and skate park. Picnic areas and plenty of bathrooms. Our kids had so much fun! Unfortunately you have to pay a few $$$ for parking down the road. I wished they had their own parking lots. Visitors can easily access it by parking on the street close to the mirror pond.
Beautiful garden within a garden! Manito Park’s welcome seasonal beauty is a sight to behold. Nothing says spring in Spokane than different shades of lilac blooming with its heady fragrance all around. A popular picnic spot where one can sit under the lilac and enjoy the garden. Dog friendly (on leash please), and mostly ADA accessible. Easy to get in and out if you park on the street close to the mirror pond. A quick walk to the gardens instead of walking all around the parking lot. Enjoy while it lasts!

Spokane Falls (Upper Falls) is a stunning destination, especially during the fall season. The Apple Festival in September and October offers apple-picking, live entertainment, craft booths, and family activities. The cooler weather and vibrant fall foliage make it perfect for hiking. The park around the falls provides refreshing views and a sky ride adds to the fun. Additionally, there are excellent dining options nearby in downtown Spokane. Visitors can also enjoy scenic views of the falls from three different bridges that cross over them.
The Niagara Falls are gargantuan, but Spokane Falls offer variety. You have rapids, hillside, and hydroelectric falls. There are at least three bridges to walk across and enjoy their beauty. Visit the local park and eateries while you're there!

A popular romantic activity in Spokane is visiting Rose Hill, a picturesque garden known for its stunning variety of flowers. The expansive rose garden offers a delightful experience, allowing visitors to leisurely stroll amidst the beautiful blooms and take a moment to relax. However, one minor drawback is the lack of clear labeling for the roses, as they are listed alphabetically rather than numerically based on their plot locations.
Every year, Rose Hill is impressive with the beauty of roses. The collage of colors, working bugs, and the wonderful Spokane weather makes this place a must visit. I greatly appreciate all the labor that goes into this garden. Truly impressive.
Jakob Z — Google review
Some of roads in park blocked had to go to back behind playground to get in. Some parking blocked also at Duncan Gardens. Roses were beautiful, dahlias not out yet.
Sandra D — Google review
Stop and smell the roses! For real lol. Expansive rose garden with so many different varieties of roses. Really something to see, come walk through and just sit and take a break in. Only complaint would be that the roses are not labeled and the placard that has them listed goes in alphabetical order by name of the rose, instead of numerical order by the numbered plot they are in, well I don’t know the name and there are like 100s of numbers. Just seems they could be listed better etc

We were here at the tail end of the season, but there were still plenty of gorgeous roses in bloom. And so many have a beautiful rose smell! It's a very well-kept and lovely place. If you like roses and you're in Spokane in late June/early July, don't miss it!
Heather S — Google review
Very nice. With many different types of roses
Isaiah A — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous! A must-see for flower and beauty lovers. Such healthy and vibrant roses with over 165 varieties represented. A wonderful space to stop and breathe in the divine fragrances.

The roses are in bloom between August-September and it is a heavenly smell, and a beautiful sight!!!

Beautifully designed garden. Very well-managed with a wide variety of flowers and anchor features. I enjoyed the sun dial.

Park
Rocks of Sharon, located just south of Spokane, offers a 20-30 minute hike with some steep parts leading to the top. Once there, hikers can scramble up rocks for stunning views of the Palouse from Spring through Fall. It's advisable to bring water, a warm jacket or sweater, good hiking shoes, and bug spray if you plan to visit. The area is surrounded by Conservation Areas with hiking trails and is popular for rock climbing and bear sightings are possible.
Beautiful views & the wildflowers were still out and vibrant! I was happy that I brought walking sticks & water, but we saw a number of people without either.
Deborah T — Google review
Great climb for a quick 3 mile loop, views, loads of sport routes for climbing. Difficulty seems lots of lower 5's to some higher with overhang. Great place to bring beginners and I'm sure there are some challenging routes as well.
Diana C — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this location, finding it to be an exceptional experience. The breathtaking view alone made the trip entirely worthwhile, offering a truly memorable and picturesque setting.
Dr. S — Google review
Enjoyed the short and at times steep trail to the big rock. My dog and my sister made the trip with me. Seems to be a popular spot for rock climbing, and hiking. Signs were up for recent bear activity, we saw nothing. The foggy conditions made it a nice Halloween ish vibe to the hike. After getting to the top we figured it out there were less steep trails to get down.
Ric B — Google review
Absolutely stunning hike! I would be careful of loose rocks though, definitely fell a few times 😂
Shannon M — Google review
Beautiful hike! The route we took was a bit intense for my four-year-old, so we ended up needing to toddler-wear for a good portion of the hike. There were less steep trail routes that may have been more family friendly. Enjoyed rock climbing.
Steven S — Google review
An 800 ft ascend with a short access to a loop back trail, it’s well worth a hike. Bring a lunch for a picnic at the top!
James J — Google review
Great hike. Not marked very well as lots of intersecting trails. Wasn't exactly sure we were on correct trail, but did the loop and made it back to our car

41The Great Northern Clocktower

Historical landmark
The Great Northern Clocktower, a slender structure in Riverfront Park, is the sole remaining part of the 1902 Great Northern Depot. This iconic tower with 9-foot clock faces on each side stands as a symbol of Spokane's rich history. Despite the removal of the surrounding railroad and depot for the 1974 World Expo, efforts led by Jerry Quin saved this historic landmark from demolition.
The Great Northern Clock Tower in Spokane’s Riverfront Park is a cherished historic landmark thanks largely to Jerry Quin, who led the “Save Our Stations” campaign in 1972 to prevent it’s demolition. Quin’s effort ensured this iconic piece of Spokane’s railway history remained intact. Standing since 1902, the tower was saved just in time to grace the grounds for the 1974 World Exposition, adding to its significance. Surrounded by scenic path and the Spokane River, the tower’s timeless charm and gentle chimes make it a must see, offering a tangible link to the city’s rich past and a tribute to preservation efforts.

Signature building in Spokane. I didn't find an option to go inside but did enjoy the views of this beautiful clock tower while walking around Riverfront Park.

Beautiful tower on the river. This is a very mice area to take a walk and enjoy magnificent views. There are some homeless people in the area, but they don't bother you. Nice safe park/area to enjoy a walk at all hours of the day.
Janet S — Google review
Beautiful views of the Great Northern Clocktower, river, and park. Watching at sunset is very enjoyable, as I’m sure it is at all times of day. I love seeing all the geese, and they are very happy to come introduce themselves and ask for a snack. I didn’t have a snack for the geese, but I did enjoy the view with a cookie I’d brought from my hotel. Perfect area any time of day.

If you're at the park you have to come check out the clocktower while you're here. Lots of history behind it and very beautiful.

The Rotary Fountain is a cherished water feature that marks the south entrance of Riverfront Park, serving as a delightful spot for visitors. After undergoing necessary repairs to its mechanical and electrical systems, it remains an iconic piece of Harold Balazs's artwork. This fountain is particularly popular during the summer months, providing a refreshing escape for families and children looking to cool off on hot days.
Beautiful, family friendly park! Have to ride the scooters! They are cheap and fun
Bill K — Google review
What is spectacular park. The fountain was off when we were there. But it's absolutely gorgeous.
Jojomall M — Google review
Great summertime favorite for kids of all ages to cool down on hot day. Its awesome that its totally free and open any day throughout the entire summer. Even a quick pass under the fountain you will feel totally cooled. Plus great location in river front park right next to carousel and old time favourite garbage eating goat..
Alisha ( — Google review
Beautiful little spot.
Christeen G — Google review
I can imagine this place could be full with ppl in the summer after COVID.
X E — Google review
“This is a gift to the children” it advises. The fountain was placed in the park around 2004, 30 years after being placed on the side bench for the Expo ’74 due to lack of funds. With 40 overhead jets, it’s a great place in summer and with the environmental theme in place it uses filtration and re circulation water. Lots of kids, so it's loud - but still cool
Sarah V — Google review
I really like the new fountain and the new river front park.

Certainly an attractive feature to our Riverfront Park. Those who live in Spokane appreciate and covet our park. So much to enjoy, strolling, running, concerts downtown. We are fortunate.

Riverside State Park, situated at the western end of the Centennial Trail just a short drive from Spokane, is a sprawling natural oasis offering an array of outdoor activities. Established in 1933, it is one of Washington's largest state parks and encompasses the scenic Spokane and Little Spokane rivers. Visitors can partake in hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and even cross-country skiing within its expansive boundaries.
Great place to go hiking and even kayaking/paddle boarding. There is plenty of parking. Bathroom facilities (no running water) Definitely recommend checking this place out.
Catelin R — Google review
There are numerous places inside of Riverside State Park here are some pictures from a truck around part of the bowl and picture. Very nice hiking some semi easy trails some more advanced looking trails as well and unbelievably beautiful if you're ever in the Spokane area for any amount of time it's a must-see location
Stone A — Google review
Again another great park for an amateur radio operator to activate a park on the POTA (Parks On The Air) program, with many locations along the river to access. Many are also co-incident with Centennial Trail (US-3171) and all are coincident with the Ice Age Flood Zone Trail (US-3424).
Jeff B — Google review
You can walk for hours. So beautiful
Lily B — Google review
There are a lot of great riding trails here.
Sean H — Google review
Love it down there. It's so clean and quiet. They do an excellent job keeping it fantastic. If you haven't been before, I recommend it. There's day parks only, camp sights but make a reservation for a camp site if they have open ones. I believe you have to have a discovery pass to hang out and park. They're like $30 I think.
Eric J — Google review
The drive-thru Riverside State Park , is always beautiful
Christopher C — Google review
Love the park from end to end and all the quirky spots in between. Truly a Spokane treasure. Great for the early risers getting in a challenging run before work or the frisbee golf bros getting together to reminisce about BC bud and share tactics for the new layout of hole 6. And every visitor/inhabitant/member in between that is fortunate enough to spend time in or around the great Spokane River. We may not be seeing her in her prime with waves of salmon fins spanning from shore to shore and flowing as she would without the human restrictions, but sit quietly at her side and clear your mind. She'll whisper to you endless stories to inform, entertain, and refresh your humanity and remind you who you are or aren't. With grace and strength she continues to give and give without asking for return.

The Spokane Lilac Festival Association plays a pivotal role in celebrating the vibrant culture of Spokane, known as the Lilac City due to its beautiful spring blooms. Since its inception in 1938, this annual festival has become a cherished tradition that honors local youth and showcases community spirit. Typically held in mid to late May, it features an array of events culminating in a grand parade on the third Saturday of the month.
I had the opportunity to drive as a chauffeur in the 2022 Lilac Festival Parade and just wanted to share some of my pictures. It was the opportunity of a lifetime, and I had a blast getting to know the past presidents and the Royalty of the various High Schools in the Spokane area. Thank you Spokane Lilac Festival Association for trusting us to take care of your VIPs.
