Nature & Parks
Nestled in the Elliott neighborhood, West End Overlook Park is a delightful escape that offers stunning vistas of downtown Pittsburgh and the Ohio River. This hidden gem is perfect for those seeking a quieter experience away from the bustling city center. With its convenient access by car or public transport, visitors can enjoy amenities like benches, pavilions, and a playground while soaking in breathtaking views.
Hey, we are Vicky 🇵🇪 and Malte 🇩🇪 from the travel blog "Traveling Is Our Passion." For a full one-day Pittsburgh guide, check out our blog. West End Overlook Park is one of those spots you don’t want to miss when visiting Pittsburgh! It’s a peaceful park with stunning views of the city skyline, the Ohio River, and even the famous Mount Washington. You can take a short walk or just relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. It's a perfect spot for photos, especially at sunset. The park is not very crowded, so it’s a great place to escape the busy city life for a little while. There’s a small parking area nearby, making it easy to get to. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to enjoy Pittsburgh from a different perspective, this is the perfect spot!

A hidden gem, never crowded, always chill. Lesser known than Grandview on Mt Washington, but my preferred view of downtown Pittsburgh and the rivers.
George W — Google review
Spectacular views and a clean facility overall! Parking is a little scarce, but otherwise a great place to see the entire city and suburbs!!
Michael H — Google review
I walk up here a bunch every winter. I swear walking is only comfy when its under 32 midday.
THICC 9 — Google review
Beautiful park with a perfect view of the city & a great location to watch the 4th fireworks display. Especially if you don't like loud booms that come with them.
Cara L — Google review
The scenery here is really nice, but every time I come in the afternoon or evening, it’s such a hassle to find a parking spot.
Lucas S — Google review
This park has great views of downtown Pittsburgh and the rivers, bridges and buildings it has. It’s a little hard to find and the streets are very steep leading up to it, but it’s worth a visit. My only wish is that the foliage was cut down a bit more so the views are even better, but they’re still great regardless.
Christopher J — Google review
What a view. Also a place to walk around or just rest and take in the scenery.

Point State Park, located at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers in downtown Pittsburgh, spans 36 acres and offers a mix of historical landmarks and recreational opportunities. The park features the Fort Pitt Museum and the Fort Pitt Blockhouse, which provide insight into Pittsburgh's founding and its role in the American Revolutionary War. Visitors can enjoy boating, hiking, biking, or simply relax while taking in picturesque views of the city and rivers.
Really nice park and nice views of city. Def a must go to check out. Had some museums also but it was closed when I came. Area and park being under construction so in a Few years I’m sure the area will be even nicer.
Justin D — Google review
Great place to see the rivers from the Ohio River. There are no guardrails to protect you from falling into the rivers. Very windy, so securing your personals is a must. There are shaded walkways to enjoy some botanical insight and learn about the local vegetation. Great place to run, jog or bike. Security makes there rounds frequently. Nice open space to play it have a picnic, but can be very crowded. You can hear and see the stadium from the point.
Fort L — Google review
It’s beautiful, I really like the botanical garden and the area next to the university. The park feels very relaxing. But right now there’s a lot of road construction, so GPS doesn’t really help. For tourists like us, it’s not very friendly—we’re just wandering around trying to find our way.
Chloe T — Google review
I was pretty disappointed that the fountain wasn't working on our visit(Monday, May 19). But, it's still an absolutely stunning area to soak up all the great views of Pittsburgh.
Suomirakastaa — Google review
Point State Park is one of those rare places that captures the entire soul of a city. Where the three rivers meet, you can feel the energy of Pittsburgh — steel roots, modern skyline, and endless water reflections that look straight out of a postcard. Whether you’re catching the fountain mist on a summer evening, watching boats glide by, or taking in the golden bridges from every angle, it’s pure magic. The park is clean, peaceful, and perfectly blends urban life with nature’s calm. If you want to understand Pittsburgh, start here — the Point is the point.
Adam F — Google review
Great walk to this park. Pretty amazing views and while going there you can go through the market or do the river walk. Both are amazing. Must do if you are in Pittsburgh.
N N — Google review
This is a well maintained park that offers great walking trails and sites of historical importance. One can walk up to the end of the park, which is the point, and see forks of the Ohio where the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers converge. This area was contested by French, Indigenous, Pennsylvania, and Virginia that culminated in the actions that led to the Seven Year's War. The outline of Fort Duquesne and the Fort Pitt Museum offer much information for those who love the historic significance of this area. the pathways offer views through vegetation as well as of the rivers. I recommend running, jogging, and walking around 9:00 in the morning at this time of year. This is a must see destination for those in the Pittsburgh area.

Schenley Park is a sprawling urban oasis covering 456 acres of land in the Oakland area. It features a variety of attractions including walking trails, sports facilities, botanical gardens, and a golf course. The park boasts picturesque oak tree groves, winding pathways, and elegant memorials. Visitors can enjoy activities such as disc golf, picnicking, and ice skating at the rink.
Beautiful surroundings in Oakland area of Pitt University. Green areas to spread yourself out in the sunshine. Phipps terrarium and fantastic fountain.

Amazing park, everything is within walkable distance even though it looks like it's a huge park but once you're there, you would love to explore. Didn't find much elevation either. Definitely a must visit. Parking - park your car either across on Schenley Drive opposite Phipps Botanical garden (better location) OR across Anderson Playground. Some of the trails are not that great, so bring your most comfy shoes if going to trails. There are lots of benches to sit on near the fountain as well as near Phipps. There is an American restaurant called "The Porch" as well as an Ice cream/milkshake place and Omar's halal grill near the Catherdral of Learning.
Sagar — Google review
Great hiking spot in the middle of the city! Schenley Park has beautiful trails, peaceful nature, and nice views. Easy to access from Pitt, and perfect for a walk, jog, or just relaxing outdoors. Highly recommend if you’re in Pittsburgh!

Very nicely wooded! I came through for a trail run and was amazed by the intricacy of the routes within this entire park. Great for a scenic walk or a long run. There's a nice viewpoint on a large hill near the observatory and university campus!

Station Square is a lively riverfront entertainment district in Pittsburgh's South Side, offering a 1.2-mile stretch of historic charm and modern attractions. This bustling complex features diverse restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as a musical fountain that adds to the vibrant atmosphere. With convenient access to public transportation, including the Duquesne and Monongahela Incline, Station Square serves as a gateway to nearby landmarks.
It’s one of Pittsburgh’s facelifts that has remarkably revitalized the riverbanks 😎😎😎😎😎. It’s the location of several restaurants and business offices. It is also the docking area of several riverboats. Google Maps has unfortunately mislabeled this place a shopping mall. It is a business complex that is very popular to locals and visitors. Close Views of Pittsburgh skyline are easy and pleasing to eye. There’s a viewing platform to enjoy the panorama There’s a dancing fountain that is draw for little kids😎😎😎. There’s also historical pieces from steel mills that used to occupy the place. A very good place to visit.

The Grand Concourse has been one of my favorite places to visit for over three decades. I haven't visited in two years, and there are many changes. The food was delicious, but the portions were smaller. The prices have gone up, they changed the bread service to mini sour doughs, and the Martha vineyard salad is no longer on the menu. I believe they are using a different coffee as well. The dessert options have also changed. The chocolate lava cake was a treat. The setting remains beautiful, but we were seated in an area that was abnormally loud. We were a small table of two placed behind a large, full round table. It made conversation difficult. I've never encountered this issue in the main dining area as seats there are spaced more reasonably. I still enjoy dining here, but I would probably choose a Monday - Thursday to enjoy the prix fixe, or dine later to be seated in the main dining area.
Amy M — Google review
We just went to Station Square to kill some time. It was beautiful going on the incline and looking out over the city. There were some really good restaurants to choose from and plenty to see. We really enjoyed the fountain that played to the beat of music. My only complaint is that there really weren't any great gift shops around that area.
J. D — Google review
Nice, clean attraction. Great spot for pictures. The river is just stunning. Nice selection of restaurants also.
Ray F — Google review
Unfortunately, closed due to construction but shuttle bus service is easily accessible.
C D — Google review
I love Station Square and even with the businesses closing there, the place has potential. They need a place like the Funny Bone to move back in. Love all the businesses they have though.
David L — Google review
We just love Station Square! Everything about it! Our fave places to eat are The Grand Concourse, The Melting Pot and Texas de Brazil. Our kids are Hard Rock fans! Whether you are taking in the sights from the Riverwalk or noshing on yummy food, this place is a great place to be. Fountains, historic pieces, skyscrapers, boats…the city has my heart! Be sure to schedule a trip!
Dede K — Google review
Station Square is an amazing place to walk and people watch. It has the highly eclectic mix of restaurants and little boutiques. You can see the river views amazingly here. I had a great time and I found the place to be very transgender friendly. Since I am a transgender woman myself.. Take some time walk around and sit a spell!

Arenas & Stadiums
PNC Park is a picturesque baseball stadium located on the riverside, hosting Pittsburgh Pirates games. The classic architecture of the park mimics America's traditional baseball fields and has hosted all-star games and playoffs. The area around the park offers various attractions such as restaurants, retail shops, and world-class museums like the National Aviary and the Andy Warhol Museum. Visitors can also enjoy tours focusing on the history of the Rebellion with a cocktail and tasting flight included.
One of the most beautiful ball parks. If you’re in are coming here do not forget the stadium is outside and many of the seats are in the sun! Catch a day and night game so you can see the skyline during both times of day. You’ll be walking along the Roberto Clemente bridge and the view of the bridges from here are excellent. So many good photo ops. Highly recommend catching a game here!
Casey R — Google review
PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.
Michael M — Google review
The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.
Matthew — Google review
This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.
Mike W — Google review
Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.
Dennis P — Google review
The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.
Jonathan W — Google review
Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!
Tricia P — Google review
This is a beautiful park. It's clean and the staff were all friendly. Even the fans were kind and helpful. The surrounding area is nice and felt safe both before and after the game. There are a lot of great eateries and attractions around the stadium. The whole package makes for a great experience.

The Cathedral of Learning, a 42-story building at the University of Pittsburgh, is home to the Nationality Rooms. These 31 classrooms represent different cultures and heritages, with some still being used for classes. Each room is dedicated to a specific nationality, showcasing its unique furnishings and architectural styles. The Gothic Revival edifice has also been featured in various films and is known for its detailed representation of different cultures across the world.
Highly recommend taking the international rooms guided tour... the best $4 you'll ever spend... but you have to go on the weekend as the rooms are used as classrooms during the week. Fasciating history and architecture. You can also then go up to the 36th floor to get an incredible view of Pittsburgh
Michael L — Google review
42 story Gothic building towers over all other university buildings. For gothic lovers this is a must see. If you are visiting the Nationality Rooms, they are located on the 1st and 3rd floors and only accessible between 9AM - 3PM when the Uni is in session.
Michelle G — Google review
If you are visiting Pittsburgh this place is must to see. Nice architecture, like from Harry Potter movies. Inside Nationality rooms which you can see with or without guide (I think $5 for). Around the holidays the rooms are decorated according to nation's customs. You will enjoy it!
Tom J — Google review
An other world experience. Anyone interested in history or education will find this a fascinating visit. The architecture is stunning and the details in the stone work are unbelievable. Not a church, not a library, not a coffee shop, not a used book store and not a museum; but rather the best little bits if all those venues.
Acorn W — Google review
Such a cool place. Makes me want to be a student here. My favorite part, besides The beautiful architect in the main room that made me feel like I was at Hogwarts, we're the classrooms. Each one is the theme of a different country. Definitely worth the trip!
Meagan W — Google review
This is a MUST SEE if you’re in Pittsburgh. I never get bored when I visit this place and can go a couple more times. The structure of it is magnificent both inside and outside. It has different country themed classes with audio description, music and you can even smell the difference in the rooms. It’s open to public on Saturdays. They close some classrooms at 2:30 and the rests are open till 4pm. So make sure you choose a time accordingly. And fon’t forget to charge your phone beforehand.
Faria M — Google review
You will spend several hours here. Such a cool place to explore. Part library, part college campus, and upstairs they have different classrooms representing different countries. It's like Epcot, but for classrooms. Totally worth the trip!
Opassa T — Google review
This was a beautiful place to walk around and learn about different countries. We took the self guided tour with an electronic tour guide and key hanging from a lanyard. The speakers on these lanyards provide enough volume for the individual using it. If you are in a group, it's annoying to hear more than two of these recordings playing at once. We definitely didn't give ourselves enough time to look around. It will take a good couple hours to walk through all rooms on the first floor. The rooms on the 3rd floor are modernized and have switches in each one that one turned on will give a history about the room. This is better because it comes out of a speaker that place throughout the entire room. This visit was so worth it!

Inclined railway station
The Duquesne Incline, a historic incline railway in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been carrying passengers up and down Mt. Washington since 1877. The elegant wooden cable cars offer a nostalgic journey to the observation deck at the top, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its rivers. The upper station also houses a museum showcasing Pittsburgh's history and inclines around the world.
A must-see attraction in Pittsburgh. You can take the mountain train to the highest point. When you walk out of the station, you can overlook the downtown Pittsburgh from the observation deck. It is very beautiful. You must also visit the working museum at the top of the mountain station. The ticket is cheap but only cash is accepted. There is a parking lot opposite the station at the bottom of the mountain where you can park.
Chun-Cheng ( — Google review
One of the must do attractions in Pittsburgh. Paid parking is available at the lower station. You need to pay cash for tickets. 5$ per adult. Kids below 5 rides free. The carriage travel was quick and took us to the upper station. View is amazing from the top. There is a small working museum on how the incline works if you are interested. Overall took us less than 1hr
Vimal H — Google review
This sorta feels like one of those things you need to do when you go to Pittsburgh. Parking is in the huge dirt surface lot on the street below. It’s $10 for 24 hours there didn’t seem to be another option. The incline itself is $5 per person, cash only. If you don’t have cash they’ll give you an IOU. There’s an ATM at the top, you can give them your money when you come back down. There’s lift is a little rickety but you get great views on the 2-3 minute ride up. At the top there’s a small gift shop but you’re probably coming for the views. They’re worth the price of admission alone. We went near dusk so there wasn’t a line or many people waiting to take pics. There’s probably other stuff to do up there but it was cold and windy, so we snapped pics and left. Parking price aside, totally worth it.

A lovely experience...an absolute must while in the Pittsburgh area. Paid parking lot close to the lower level and free (or paid) street parking near the upper level. There is also a bus that runs near the lower level along Lincoln Highway. The incline costs $2.50 each way for adults and $1.25 for children. Cash only...exact change. Children under 5 are free. The last ride is at 12:40am. The ride itself is a lovely experience offering some amazing views of downtown Pittsburgh. The views from the top at the viewing platform are even more amazing...definitely a great spots for photos. Once you get to the top, there are some exhibits within the station. There is also a staircase and walkway which allows you to see the gears and cables pulling the car up the hill...quite fascinating. There is also a small gift shop there.

I lived in Pittsburgh few years ago, I was just visiting the River side casino, every time I been to the casino, this incline always draw my attention. I was always curious about the view from the top. Finally after 12 years, I decided to visit incline, the experience was amazing, it only cost $2.50 one way. When I reached top of the hill, the view of the Pittsburgh downtown was breathtaking. I never thought that the entire expedition would be lifelong memory. I highly suggest you visit this place. Just don’t forget the cash since they don’t accept any cards. It is cash only place and the ATM on the top of the incline charges &$4.00 for cash withdrawal. So, it is better to have $5.00 per person cash.

Visited Pittsburgh for the Steelers VS Browns game (tore em up) and was advised to check out this incline. It was somewhere between O and K. Nothing to call home about unless you’re into waiting 45 mins for a 3 min ride to the top of the incline. Granted, it’s only a $5 round trip per person but this place needs some efficiency. If you are going for the views, I recommend just parking at the top of the incline and getting your photos that way. Cool for you history buffs though

One of Pittsburgh’s must-visit tourist attractions is the Duquesne Incline. The incline cars almost run continuously, resulting in minimal wait times. A round trip ticket costs $5, and each car can accommodate approximately 18 people. At the top station, there’s a gift shop and a self-guided museum that explains how the incline system works. But the most important part is the breathtaking view of Pittsburgh from the top observation deck. There is a parking lot in front of the incline station across the road. It costs 8$ for 2 hours. See photos and videos attached for latest details.

The Duquesne Incline offered great views of the city and a unique experience on train car going up at a 45 degree angle. However, it was quite crowded on the incline and at the overlook at the top. We actually preferred the Monongahela Incline which had no crowds on the incline or at the overlook and a short walk to a neighborhood diner for breakfast.

The Color Park, situated along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail on Pittsburgh's South Side, offers a unique experience for art and skyline enthusiasts. This small parklet is adorned with vibrant graffiti, creating an eccentric contrast against the city backdrop. The location provides an alternative perspective of Pittsburgh's skyline from the level of the Monongahela River. While the quality of street art may vary, visiting this colorful spot promises a visually captivating and authentic Pittsburgh experience.
This place is so cool. Even the teenagers loved it. Lots of awesome graffiti and the views of Steel City skyline and bridges are incredible! Amazing place for a photo shoot! We rented bikes for the kids and they had a blast! There was quite a few unhoused people “camping” there. But signs did say they would be expected to leave by July 2025!

An interesting, rather unexpected feature I encountered biking along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, on the Monongahela side. This is essentially urban graffiti, but of a more "artistic" sort (along with other graffiti).
Mark V — Google review
Great place for a walk or bike along the river. The scenery of the city is beautiful and the colors from the artists leaving their mark along the path adds to the scene! There is also a very nice brewery right by The Color Park. The trail going through the park is the Three Rivers Heritage trail which goes on for a while. You can rent bikes here next to the park to bike along the trail or walk. The park is usually kept clean. Please do your part and don't litter here. Let's keep this place looking awesome!

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh is housed in a grand building and features an impressive collection of dinosaur fossils, sea creature fossils, and minerals. The museum is one of the four Carnegie Museums in the city and offers extraordinary exhibits. Visitors can also explore the adjacent Carnegie Museum of Art, The Andy Warhol Museum, and the Carnegie Science Center for a diverse cultural experience.
It was awesome my first visit to Natural museum of history. Lots of things to explore about extinct animals and lots of information about older generation. A fun place for kids too but there are no much activities for kids. If kids don't mind exploring history than it would be fun for them. Nearby you have cathedral of leaning which is awesome too for prospective of building and architecture. Parking is decently priced being in downtown area. I recommend it for family with kids to be there.

If you like reading and stopping at every display, you should plan to spend more than one full day here. As two nerds from out of state, my husband and I loved every moment here. The dinosaurs were like nothing we've seen before and the geology exhibit was super cool. I loved that there were placards near exhibits that are now considered out of date in some way (native American culture and the fossil fuel areas, for example). This is easily one of the best museums I've ever visited. This museum was so captivating that we came back for a second day, only to find out it was closed all day due to a private event. I wish there had been signage or staff letting us know :( Hence the four star review.

Excellent experience wear some comfortable shoes dress light. Lots of walking and they do have an elevator for ones in wheelchairs or strollers. Once you park in the garage the museum is on level 6 the elevator is a long wait but worth it. You can not leave the parking garage with cash they only take credit cards. Minimum is $10.00. Went today Saturday collage kids everywhere. Enjoy

This is a great experience for those who not only love natural history, but also love the architecture of the gilded age! The natural history exhibits are informative, but not exhausting, giving enough information about scientific discoveries and processes without boring the public. The dinosaurs are some of their most impressive displays, showcasing a variety of species including the famous tyrannosaurus rex, to which this one is the holotype specimen, meaning that it is the first to be recognized as a tyrannosaurus and the gold standard that others use to compare other specimens. The mammal exhibits detail natural life from all around the world, and many of course highlight the local wildlife (western Pennsylvania and specifically the laurel highlands). The bug exhibit was also an impressive collection. The only complaint that I had was that the art museum and the natural history museum were difficult to navigate, though their collections were also impressive despite the Ancient Egyptian exhibits being closed. The gems and minerals were also one of the most elaborate displays of them that I have seen with the exception being the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Overall, this is a great museum for those who want to learn about natural history in the local region as well as around the world.
Cole M — Google review
Fantastic, magical day the Natural History Museum. Some of the absolute best dinosaur displays Ive seen. Breathtaking exhibit. Also an incredible Bird Hall. The Hall of American and African Animals is also fantastic. We were very excited to see the Egyptian Exhibit, but it was sadly closed. The section with gems and minerals to enormous and had we had more than a day to do the museum we would have spent more time exploring that as well. There is a cafe in the basement that had a nice selection of hot and cold items. The store was really comprehensive. Parking was very expensive which seemed excessive given its on top of the cost of getting into the museum. But overall it was worth it. If you take the elevator mind the note inside the elevator that tells you what floor to use for the Museum. Of note, one ticket gets you into BOTH the Museum of Natural History and the Art Museum and both are under the same roof. You can explore each one and the stores are very close to each other.

Amazing museum where you can spend the whole afternoon! We absolutely loved the Polar life/Indian tribe section, wildlife dioramas, the Dino display, the hall of minerals (don't miss this one!!!) and the sculpture hall. Everyone from the staff is very friendly and helpful.
JitkaKac — Google review
We visited today because my husband wanted to show me where he spent time as a kid. He spent many hours roaming the halls and visiting the displays whilst a family member took classes. There have been many changes since then, and although it's an impressive place he felt that much of the room that used to be natural history has been overtaken by the museum of art and feels we've lost out because of it. I did enjoy the dinosaur exhibit and the minerals and gems. I had looked forward to seeing some of Egypt, but that was closed.

Visitors are often surprised by the campus's size and charm during tours led by knowledgeable guides.
We went for a campus tour today and absolutely fell in love with the campus. We are from the Pittsburgh area and I never expected the campus to be as big and charming as it is. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the student:teacher ratio (14:1) with an average class size of 28 was a major bonus. The dorms are 2 bed frames with a desk and closet for each roommate with 2 drawers under the bed as well. They're spacious and clean. They have an amazing 4 floor workout building with every piece of equipment you could ever need! It truly is a hidden gem right in the downtown area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy downtown amenities. I don't see how any other college could top this!!

My son goes here. It’s a beautiful campus. My son loves it. He doesn’t say anything negative about it. I give it 4 stars because of the housing/dorms. The University tells “pay early in advance” and you can pick where you want to dorm. We did that (months in advance). They constantly send you emails, texts and mail stating deadlines so that you have first dibs at housing. That is FALSE information. They want your money basically.. My son was surprised as well as he was excited to pick the dorm he wanted for his freshman year only to find out that the campus picked it out for him. Now he picked the dormitory that has its own kitchen and bathroom and was telling his friends and family how cool it’s gonna be for his sophomore year. FALSE INFO! It’s a lottery they say and of course he didn’t get that one either. I was extremely heartbroken for him as he is far from home, made the Dean’s list and just plain old great student. I really only want to give this 1 star cause how dishonest they are with housing. I do like the campus, food and other aspects of it and of course my son likes it too and that is why I chose not to give it only one. I pray that this will change.

West End bridge in Pittsburgh is pretty decent overall. Road quality is pretty good. If you are going or coming to the West End part of town across the bridge I would drop my rating to 3 stars. The traffic patterns of the "West End Circle" are not terrible but far from the best road design. It works fine but is a bit convoluted to be honest. Bridge was completely rehabbed probably 20 years ago so your not in danger of going into the Ohio river! Lol..😁

The park hosts summer movies and music festivals but is worth visiting year-round for its breathtaking overlook. It features walking trails, hiking paths, picnic tables, and dog-friendly areas. The park provides a greener alternative to Mt Washington's overlooks and promises a spectacular view when the leaves have grown in during summer.
Beautiful park with a beautiful view. I’ve been coming to this park for 30 years. It’s just as beautiful as it ever was. Check out the band stand. Sit on the hill and watch fireworks. Perfect small park.

The view from the top, at the entrance, is beautiful. Although you'll definitely get better views from the outlooks on Grandview Ave. There are a couple of picnic tables here. That's pretty much where the nice things end. At the moment the Grandview trail is closed in one long section so you can't hike all of it and the other trails are maintained but entire sections are littered with glass (I'm lucky my dog has very rough paw pads) and there are parts with poison ivy at ankle height. They are not very fun to walk honestly and there are better choices in Pittsburgh for sure. Obviously the noises from the highways are loud but that's to be expected considering the location. There are no real views from the trails I've walked. During the week it is very calm and you'll encounter mostly people jogging or walking their dogs. Parking is on the street. There is a portable toilet near the band stand that was clean. I'm an avid hiker but I also love nice city parks and unfortunately this is not one of those.

Avoid at all costs. FBE Consulting is an absolute scam. I recently attended their “Pittsburgh Haunt on the Highline” event, and it was a complete disaster. They blatantly overcharged attendees for a low-quality experience, falsely advertising VIP perks that were never delivered. I’ve reached out multiple times for resolution and have been completely ignored—zero accountability, zero professionalism. This company exploits customers with misleading promotions and delivers nothing close to what’s promised. Do not waste your time or money. FBE Consulting should be ashamed of their unethical business practices and the way they take advantage of people.
Justin M — Google review
A work in progress. Modeled after NYC counterpart, Highline Pittsburgh is enroute to becoming an elevated park between two terminal buildings. With bike trails, art, plants sitting in steel pieces designed to purposely rust, the Highline is destined to become a place to unwind, rest on a wooden bench, and enjoy food, beverage, and sweeping views of Pittsburgh from under the Liberty bridge looking at the Monongahela River. Free 2 hour parking is permitted in their garage. The West terminal is home to businesses and is expanding. The East terminal has yet to be develop. The two warehouses are joined by the lower level garage making it one unit. Highline Pittsburgh is located at the start of the Three Rivers heritage trail which runs along the riverbank towards the Southside. Make sure to check out the surrounding area around the buildings as well as the lower level for unique artwork, sculpture and even a painted freight train. This place has potential to go far and will eventually be one of Pittsburgh's best kept secrets.

The Fort Pitt Bridge is a significant landmark in Pittsburgh, offering a stunning entry point into the city through the iconic Fort Pitt Tunnel. It holds historical importance as the world's first computer-designed bowstring arch bridge and the first double-decker bowstring arch bridge. This architectural marvel adds to Pittsburgh's cultural and geographical significance, making it an essential experience for visitors entering the city.
This bridge is so beautiful at night, we walked some of the trail. Keep in mind if you walk the trail there is a fence blocking most of the view. (On the side w the tracks of course)
Polariss S — Google review
This steel double-decked bowstring-arch bridge carries Interstate 376 between downtown Pittsburgh and the Fort Pitt Tunnel. It opened in June 1959 and remains too narrow for the amount of traffic trying to cross it. Today, I was in a Pittsburgh city bus heading out of town and it was nearly hilarious watching our bus driver merging from the various on-ramps to get across the Monongahela River. He was only successful because people are scared of buses. Otherwise, I'd probably still be there! With a clearance over the river of 471 feet and a total length of 1207 feet, the bridge is impressively awesome considering that it is over sixty years old. It was an achievement for the time as the first computer-designed bridge in the world. The bridge is painted a bright yellow and there is no toll to cross it in either direction. I'm a fan.
Bruce K — Google review
Getting onto and off this bridge is like playing chess with a toddler. People forget how to merge, people will just try and side swipe you, and it's a "everyone for themselves" kind of thing. I dread having to go that way because I know how it is going to be. Good luck all who dare enter haha

4.5 stars. The Fort Pitt Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in Pittsburgh. This yellow, two-deck bridge was built several decades ago. It carries Interstate 376 over the Monongahela River to connect the southwestern suburbs with the city. Sometimes traffic can move slowly, and drivers might struggle with switching lanes. Nevertheless, I rate this bridge highly because of its Pittsburgh-yellow color and its beautiful views of the city skyline.

Okay really? I'm rating a bridge? Here are a couple things you ought to know. If you want to get from Oakland to Southside, you need to swing across two lanes of traffic in the middle of the bridge. If you're coming from Green tree and want to get to the north side, you need to swing across a couple of lanes of the bridge. If you're coming from downtown and want to head out towards the airport, you need to swing across a couple of lanes of traffic in the middle of the bridge. Pittsburgh bridges are complicated, and the roads are messy, but they get you there. And the best thing about the fort Pitt bridge is coming into town from Greentree in the airport at night. It's absolutely magical exiting the tunnel and seeing the downtown all lit up.

Herr's Island is a large and popular recreational area in the middle of the Allegheny River. The island has been reclaimed for homes and businesses, but still features a lot of green space and scenic views. It is located between two neighborhoods, Troy Hill and Strip District, and is bisected by the 31st Street Bridge.
I've photographed countless weddings and engagement sessions here and it's always one of my favorite locations. Somehow every time I'm here I find a new little spot that is amazing for photos.

The closest island on the Allegheny River to downtown, it is easily accessible via a pedestrian or car bridge. There is a lovely walking trail, restaurant, marina, housing, and offices. You can easily circumnavigate the island in 15 minutes, or you can take half an hour to an hour and just enjoy the views

Primanti Brothers is a popular Pittsburgh-based sandwich chain that features delicious, handmade sandwiches piled high with french fries and slaw. The restaurant is always stocked with wings, pizza, and plenty of other delicious options for hungry diners.
We finally crossed off Primanti’s from our list! I can’t believe how big these sandwiches are, and I’m so glad that we shared! It was definitely interesting to have the coleslaw and fries on the sandwich, but I didn’t hate it. Cool vibe inside and a great menu to pick from. We also enjoyed pickles on the side. The pastrami was tasty. I can see why this place was a staple for the locals!
Food C — Google review
Our server (the manager/owner?) was so sweet! He greeted us with a smile and had non stop corny jokes going. The food was reasonably priced and good! Primantis + Heintz ketchup + IC lite & a pickle topped off our Pittsburgh weekend experience.
Emily B — Google review
All right, I am going to say it – I absolutely do not understand the hype around these sandwiches. On a recent trip to Pittsburgh before heading to a Steelers game, my dad, my husband, and I felt that we had to do the quintessential Pittsburgh thing and get a Primanti Bros sandwich. I ordered what essentially was a burger-sandwich (the Pittsburgh sandwich) while my dad and my husband tried the pastrami sandwich. When the sandwiches arrived, we were blown away by how massive in size they were. Luckily, the bread is very soft and compacts down so that you can actually pick up the sandwich and take a reasonable bite. But without some sort of notable sauce or anything, we all felt that the sandwiches were extremely dry and unremarkable. Adding french fries did not help with the dryness but exacerbated it. I got so desperate I ended up dunking my Pittsburgh sandwich in ketchup just to have enough moisture to get it down. Again, if someone could please explain to me what the hype is around these sandwiches I would greatly appreciate it. Service was fast, but it’s Pittsburgh so it wasn’t very friendly. The space gave off a sports bar type vibe. I’m glad I tried it so that I could say I have but I highly doubt I would ever come back.
Courtney F — Google review
Great place to have the traditional sandwich. The atmosphere is very nice. The people they’re very friendly. The manager helped serving the tables and check on the visitors. One of my favorite experiences in Pittsburgh.

This sandwich was so good! Come hungry! The fries were the best! We ordered take out and nothing was soggy or gross by the time C we got back to the hotel (15 min). The bread was super soft and delicious!

I've been coming to this location forever, it seems. Love its Pittsburgh legendary status. Well deserved. On my recent return to Pittsburgh, I was lucky to be waited on, served by, and have my sandwich made by Stephanie. Loved her energy and friendliness. As always, my sandwich with an Iron City hit the spot. Very Pittsburgh. Love it.
Curley — Google review
The food is cheap, which is good and the service is fast, but the waitress did forget stuff we told her because she wasn't using a notebook to write our orders down. I tried 4 different sandwiches and all of the meat was dry and I think this place is over-hyped. They also have the sandwiches come out not on plates, but on parchment paper. They do have paper trays you can get though. There was one sandwich that was good, it was the Pitts-Burger Sandwich, I recommend that one if you go here.
Mackenzie D — Google review
If you’re in Pittsburgh, Primanti Brothers is an absolute must-visit! This iconic spot is a true Steel City staple, and it more than lives up to the hype. Our party of four all went for the original Primanti Brothers sandwich, and wow, it did not disappoint. The bread was fresh, the meat perfectly seasoned, and the signature pile of crisp fries and tangy coleslaw right inside the sandwich made each bite a perfect balance of flavors and textures. It’s messy in the best possible way, and exactly what comfort food should be. Friendly service, a lively Pittsburgh vibe, and sandwiches big enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite. Primanti Brothers deserves every bit of its legendary status. Highly recommend!

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, located in Schenley Park, is a horticultural paradise featuring a Victorian greenhouse and various botanical gardens. The complex has been recognized for its sustainable efforts, with three of the greenest buildings in the world on its campus. These include the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (CSL), Nature Lab at Phipps, and Exhibit Staging Center (ESC).
Absolutely breathtaking! I visited on a Sunday with my husband and we spent most of the day here. Every room is beautifully curated and visually stunning with great placards to learn more about natural habitats. I'm not very knowledgeable about plants but it looked like everything was cared for lovingly. The gift shop had really cool souvenirs and great prices for t-shirts. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Pittsburgh and we will absolutely visit again.

We were there on a beautiful September day, when they had their Jungle Quest summer flower show! What a joyful day and a great time for families with kids. My daughter loved the tropical plants and blooms and was excited to search for the toucan perched on top of the foliages. She loved playing in the areas designated for children and loves learning about the different species of plants and animals that live in these environments. We spent at least 3 hours there touring and visiting the gift shop. The best part is having lunch at the nearby park.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, my dad, my husband, and I decided to explore Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. First and foremost, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious! We drove around for probably about 15 minutes, just looking for a spot before we finally managed to find one about half a mile away. I think with it being located so close to two university campuses, parking is never good here. The terrible parking situation aside, this place is absolutely beautiful! The variety of plants and various vegetation in beautiful arrangements was definitely something to behold. We had such a wonderful time, exploring the exhibits and even had fun looking for the hidden toucans in the various rooms. Such a pleasant afternoon and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.

Phipps Conservatory is an absolute masterpiece. As an educated plant collector and a partner with a degree in horticulture, we came in with high expectations—and Phipps exceeded every one of them, earning a 10/5 rating from us. The level of thought and care that has gone into every single space is breathtaking. Each room is a uniquely curated world, from the stunning orchid displays to the thoughtful tropical collections. The plants are not only healthy and vibrant but are presented with an artistry that makes it clear this is a place run by people who are truly passionate about their craft. We spent hours wandering through the exhibits, constantly discovering new, fascinating details and unique specimens that held our attention. The Phipps experience is a testament to what a botanical garden can be when it's treated as a living work of art. It’s not just a collection of plants; it’s an immersive, educational, and inspiring journey. We can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who appreciates the beauty and science of the plant world."

Adding my 5 star review into the mix because this place was amazing. Beautiful botanical displays of all shapes and sizes all under these magnificent victorian glass greenhouses. You will feel like you were magically whisked off to London or Paris for the afternoon. Worth the visit to escape the madness and chaos of the world around you. Today I needed a nice, calm, relaxing, warm, inviting stroll through a garden and I was glad I stopped by. Thank you to everyone, especially Barbara keeping us going left and on the tour. 😎😎

Really cool experience for those interested in botanical gardens. Well worth the price of admission. Parking can be a tad tough to find on the street so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of exhibits inside with rooms dedicated to rainforests, chrysanthemums, and ferns. My favorite was the cactus room!

Without a doubt THE best crabcake I have ever had anywhere. I don’t wanna hear about Maryland or anywhere else! Piles and piles of lump meat very little cake, absolutely tremendous the sauce was perfect. From the time I got there the valet was super kind and super nice super helpful. We were shown to the lounge to wait for our table as we got there early. My daughter is four years old and they had a gift bag ready for her with very nice gifts to keep her entertained and occupied. Our server at the lounge made our drinks got to our table as we were called before they were served, our table server was just as good as our lounge server new the specials by heart lobster was perfect street corn absolutely unbelievable fresh corn not overly done with mayonnaise.Yukon gold potatoes were cooked perfectly. And the steak with the French onion topping and green cheese was absolutely unbelievable. First class experience start to finish could not have been easier to get in park and get out. Unbeatable service! I've never seen such excellent service anywhere, especially for our daughter. When they assigned us a table, they gave her a gift with small toys that kept her calm throughout our stay. They have a menu specially designed for young guests. I truly applaud this because it's not very common in many restaurants. The view is spectacular. Anne's friendly service made us feel very comfortable at all times. Her menu recommendations were very accurate. The prices were reasonable. The appetizers, cocktails, dinner, and desserts were truly delicious. Overall, they made it a very special evening for my birthday celebration. At the end, they gave her a beautiful postcard, ideal to keep as a souvenir of the restaurant. Every detail from beginning to end was wonderful. We will definitely return. This is a highly recommended restaurant!

The view alone makes this one of the best spots in Pittsburgh—absolutely spectacular and perfect for a special evening. Add in the food and service, and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect date night. I have never had duck cooked as well as I did here. The skin was beautifully crispy, the meat tender, and the tangy cranberry sauce tied everything together with just the right balance. The salmon was also outstanding—light, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everyone on staff took wonderful care of us, making the experience feel both relaxed and elevated. If you go, definitely request a window seat to make the most of the view. This is a restaurant I’d happily come back to again and again.

My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary and our experience could have not been better. Our waiter, James, was as kind, helpful, and courteous as could be towards us, as it was our first time visiting. The swordfish I ordered was top-notch and the complementary dessert was a wonderful touch to a fantastic evening, all while enjoying the beautiful view at the window. We will be back for sure!

I can confidently say this is in my top 5 of the best restaurants I’ve ever experienced. 5+ scores on all 3 categories. The atmosphere and views of the rivers and city are spectacular and breathtaking. The food was beyond delicious! We started with the surf and turf appetizer, which is a must, followed by the she-crab bisque and Caesar salad. We had the special offered that evening which was linguine with 6 petite lobster tails chopped up swimming in a white wine, parmigiana sauce. What made our experience top notch was our server, Alissa. She is the shear definition of perfection pertaining to hospitality. She raised the standard for us concerning the restaurant industry. If you can ask for her, you can thank me later!
Cynthia L — Google review
It's a restaurant with a high overall score. Apart from the elderly male valet parking attendant downstairs and the elderly female hostess at the front desk who were not very professional, everything else was great. Especially the improvement in ingredients was touching. Last time, only South African lobster was available, and I didn't really like its taste. Today, there was also Australian lobster to choose from, which was really excellent. Unfortunately, the pastry chef's style leans more towards American, using relatively simple and common ingredients, focusing more on sweetness and conservatism rather than flavor. I miss the previous pastry chef. Overall, it's a very worthwhile restaurant to visit.

My husband and I chose to go to Monterey Bay to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary partly because we were engaged there 30 years ago… What a fantastic decision it was to choose this local gem! From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. Upon arriving we were quickly taken to the table I requested followed by smiles and congratulations from everyone we encountered. Our server Madison was simply outstanding and so kind. Our wine suggestions from Henry fit our dinner choices perfectly and a complementary dessert to celebrate our anniversary was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal! And while the restaurant was swarming with out-of-town visitors due to the U.S. Open, the entire staff made a point to take care of us and we felt genuinely appreciated. We will absolutely be back and we won’t wait so long next time!
Mox K — Google review
The view is the best in the city. Our waitress was great at what she does. The restaurant is nice. To kick it off as soon as I was about to sit down, there were crumbs all over the seat so I had to dust them off. I wasn’t impressed with the food. We ended up getting quite a bit of appetizers. Calamari, some kind of pork with a soft bun that was a feature, then another feature that was a trio. Calamari wasn’t really crispy but the sauce it came with was good. The pork taco soft bun thing was probably my favorite out of all the appetizers. The trio app had shrimp, crab cake and a fish on a skewer and unfortunately all of them were cold but we didn’t want to say anything. The crab cake was probably the best out of the trio. I ordered a bisque but that came out kinda sour tasting and I did tell the waitress but she took care of it and asked for feedback so she did her part and we appreciated her. I was really looking forward to that bisque because I haven’t had one in forever and it just sounded so good so it was kind of disappointing that it wasn’t up to par. From my entrée, I got the scallops which came with the risotto. The risotto was actually really good. However, some of the rice in the risotto wasn’t fully cooked. The scallops by themselves were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The reason giving the food three stars is because multiple of the food items we received just weren’t really good but the scallops made up for it so I bumped up the stars. Service was great and the view absolutely beautiful.

The Nationality Rooms at the Cathedral of Learning in the University of Pittsburgh are a collection of 30 unique classrooms that represent the cultural heritage of various ethnic groups that settled in Pittsburgh. These rooms, designed to reflect historical classrooms from the 18th century, are actively used for classes and offer visitors a chance to experience diverse cultural learning environments. The rooms themselves are considered works of art and provide an opportunity to celebrate the city's diverse communities.
I highly recommend taking a tour of these rooms. They are absolutely amazing. I visited on a Friday during spring break, so it wasn't too busy. If you are able to take a tour with Abby, definitely do! She gave a fantastic tour that was very informative and in-depth! We were also able to talk about visiting Bratislava and bryndzové halušky! Very friendly outgoing and easy to connect with the visitors, which makes a great tour. The Austrian, Greek, and Turkish rooms were my favourite. The stained glass in the German room was quite cool. The Polish room had some really interesting pieces. Definitely check this spot out!

It beggars belief that UPitt students actually get to take classes in these remarkable rooms, or for that matter, that they are so functional. Just remember if you'd like a tour, do it when the students aren't using them, like Summer Break.
Peter D — Google review
This is a must see! The building itself is very unique & the self-guided tour of the Nationality rooms is one of a kind experience! All it takes is going there on weekends, stop by at the tour desk, pay $10/person and get a chip card that enters the rooms in exchange for your ID (obviously, don't forget to come back there when you're done). Then you can browse for 2 hours on the 1st and 3rd floors where the rooms are. You can switch the lights on when visiting the rooms but don't forget to turn them off when leaving, also make sure that the door closes behind you every time. Our favorite were the English, Ukranian, Swiss and Austrian rooms. You can also use the elevators and check the view from the 36th floor.

Highly recommended! It’s one of the most impressive places in Pittsburgh! Be advised that you need to book a guided tour in advance. You should fill out a reservation form online and in 30 min you’ll receive a confirmation letter by email. Payment will be done on arrival at the gift shop inside the Cathedral of Learning. Also it is better to visit the place on weekends when there are no students in the building. The Nationality Rooms are real classrooms at the same time, so you won’t be able to enter the room if there is a class in there. Also be advised that you won’t be able to see all 31 Nationality Rooms because the tour takes 1,5 hour only. When the tour starts your guide will ask you which rooms would you like to see, so check the university website and make your preferences before the visit. In my opinion, the most impressive ones are German, Austrian, Ukrainian, Syria-Lebanon and Turkish.
Julia G — Google review
I visited the rooms twice, in 2018 self guided and again in 2023 with a tour. I enjoyed it a lot more on my own than with the tour guide. If you have critical thinking skills, these rooms will be very disappointing. The tour guide Grace was kind but she shared inaccurate details about the Syria-Lebanon room (claiming that the there were verses of the Quran on the wall, although upon closer examination it seemed to me like Arabic text, not Quran. It was very hard to read and the tour does not allow you to enter the room, only look from behind a glass, so that made it difficult to check). You also notice similar patterns of Americanization in the rooms, e.g. the Turkish room had a huge photo of Ataturk, the leader of political secularism. And although the rooms represent countries and designs that predates 1787, the Isr**li “heritage” room was confusing because Isra*l illegally occupied Palestine in 1945.. so what exactly is the “heritage” you are designing if your country did not exist until 150+ years later? A Palestine room would be stunning 🥰 the best room was the Africa room although very sad that they grouped an ENTIRE continent in one room.. anyway, the nationality rooms are a solid reflection of the way americans see the world and what they prioritize and value, so if that does not resonate with you, feel free to skip the tour and enjoy the pictures or visit on your own!

I've been coming here since I was a little kid and have loved seeing all the new ones added over the years. I went today to see the newest room and it was fabulous as always. Had a fantastic tour from Abby who was very knowledgeable and let the group choose which rooms we wanted to see. Some of the older rooms aren't quite as wheelchair accessible due to ADA not being a thing when they were built but Abby was very accommodating and shifted some things around so I could get in. Everyone should go see the rooms if they can.
Sarah K — Google review
This was truly an inspirational experience. Our guide Abby was so knowledgeable and interesting! There are 31 rooms. For our 90 min tour, we saw 12 of them. She asked if there were certain ones we wanted to see, and made her own recommendations as well. I'm not sure what happened with other reviewers, but we absolutely got to go into the rooms and even sit in the chairs. She also explained the committee process and their fundraising process - including their decision making on what goes in to the rooms. Previous reviewers missed out on that info - that's too bad. My favorites were the German room for their stained glass windows and the Swiss room for their purposefully "mistake-included" murals on the ceilings (the quill for the writing on the slate board was especially funny). We definitely want to come back so we can see more of the rooms and get the details from Abby that we might miss if we just did a self-guided tour. And, at only $10, it is an incredible bargain!

Randyland is a vibrant and eclectic landmark building in Pittsburgh, created by folk artist Randy Gilson. The house is adorned with vividly colored murals, upbeat artifacts, and an array of quirky objects. Located in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood, this psychedelic dream has transformed the area into a colorful spectacle. It functions as a home, garden, and artists' space decorated with pink flamingos, mannequins, lawn furniture, banana plants, and plastic dinosaurs.
I always enjoy myself at Randyland. Second stop. It’s free. I find it to be a happy place with stimulating colors. It gives me a dose of creativity. It’s an open air space between 3 buildings that is decorated and painted to the max. I always wonder how many gallons of paint has gone into Randy’s creation.

Yeah. Every interesting place. My favorite was the two "one way" street signs outside. I also guess my assumption of art is very different from Randy's. This place does bring much needed color to a colorless street. It was an entertaining visit.

To see a collection of quirky art, go to Randyland. To be inspired, visit Randyland. After visiting the nearby Mattress Factory, my family of three walked to Randyland, a house bakyard filled with toys, sculptures, art, and more. If you're lucky, Randy himself will be there and he loves greeting every guest. Randy started collecting art to help beautiful the neighborhood years ago. It's turned into an outdoor gallery visited by many and inspired an entire neighborhood to reuse and beautify where you live. Our daughter LOVED the toy section and played for an hour in the sand and finding all the different toys scattered throughout. Randyland is a must-visit when in Pittsburgh! Admission is free.

The Roberto Clemente Bridge, also known as the "Three Sisters" bridge, is a pedestrian-only bridge that offers stunning views of downtown Pittsburgh and its iconic bridges. It is a popular spot for photography, especially with the city skyline in the background. Additionally, it offers easy access to PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Roberto Clemente Bridge is probably the most noticeable bridge I’ve come across in Pittsburgh. It connects downtown Pittsburgh to PNC Park. The bridge is very noticeable because of its yellow colour, and I always see it when I watch the Pirates play on TV. We walked across from the bridge, and luckily, there was an Oktoberfest happening. We could wander around from any side of the bridge! It’s a very beautiful bridge!

A lot of cool bridges that light up at night downtown Pittsburgh! Very cool, very nostalgic like downtown Cincinnati vibes.

Great looking bridge to walk on to the game. It's lights up at night!

Very cool! Love how the close the bridge to cars for PNC park events to allow easy access!

My Hero, as a child and an adult. At age 9 in 1971 I became a Pirate fan for life. The ‘71 World Series champs, Roberto at the top of his game… and then, gone. I now realize the way we lost him may be his truest achievement and lasting impression. As a big a star in the sport, to jump in a plane with aid and relief destined for an earthquake’s aftermath, that alone is remarkable. To lay down one’s life in service to another in need… that’s Biblical. Thank you Pittsburgh for keeping Roberto Clemente’s legacy well represented for generations to come.

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. We were celebrating a special occasion and our server, Raymond, was wonderful. He was so attentive, kind and patient. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and accommodating to our requests. He made the dining experience such a treat! The food was also amazing. My favorite dish was the burrata salad. We will certainly be back!

Been here many times and it's always wonderful experience and spectacular views. Be sure to ask for a window table when making a reservation, especially at a sunset, is highly recommended and memorable experience! The food was also amazing and service is absolutely incredible! Highly recommended!

Our wedding reception was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The venue was stunning and the views were breathtaking, the perfect backdrop for such a special day. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests. Every detail was handled with care and we genuinely felt like our day was as important to the team as it was to us. We could not have asked for a more beautiful and unforgettable celebration. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a flawless wedding experience.

This place has a breathtaking view of the city. I went twice - the second time was in the evening and there was live music. The music made the atmosphere phenomenal. Service is good, but slow. The food was also decent. Overall- pretty expensive but a good experience to have. The lamb was ok (I asked for well done but it was still a little raw tasting - I think it may just not have been seasoned enough? Overall… don’t recommend it). Baked Brie was also pleasant. The bread they give at the start was really good! Cake was also nice.

Great location for a meal with views of Pittsburgh. Dated decor!!!!!! But the place is clean. Waiter and his assistant did a wonderful job. Hubby and I put off by seeing a charge for a chef dish we didn’t order. I suppose the $25 coupon we received was the counter balance for the $25 chef dish we didn’t order. Kinda scammy

There is no better place in Pittsburgh to get a top notch meal along with service and incredible atmosphere. This is a Pittsburgh institution. I praise the owners and staff for keeping it original and breathtaking. From the decorative ambiance, to the design and layout of the facility it truly stands alone in Mt Washington’s restaurants. Food was superb, service was excellent. I understand many celebrities have enjoyed this place over the years, now I too can feel exactly like those celebrities when they visit. Thank you Dunlap Family. Thank you Kathy, Tony, Marco and especially Bill for being outstanding at what he does as our server.

The vendors from different car brands were very educational about what was up-and-coming With a new model years and their capabilities as far as tech, an electronic hybrids, we will be back and we are excited for the next one! I would highly recommend everyone to check out this event center anytime there’s an event here you won’t be disappointed! It's such a beautiful convention center. We went for the Oddities and Curiosities Expo and actually ended up really enjoying the architecture and rooftop access. You get an amazing view of the city from up there. This is also a great spot for meetings and professional conventions because we stumbled into one by accident, and they provide companies and groups with so many meeting rooms to choose from as well as a ballroom! The convention floor itself was sprawling with so much walking. They only used half of the entire floor for our convention, I can only imagine how packed comic con can get.

The tour of the mansion definitely made history come alive. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and provided us with historical facts with such details that I felt like we traveled back in time and really gave me a deepened appreciation of what I am looking at. Also the car and carriage museum is free! Take the time to read the signs! There is also an old classic car you can sit and take pictures in. Unfortunately the museum was closed when we visited. The grounds itself is free and beautiful. Definitely put this on your list and plan for few hours here!

Nestled on the picturesque hills of Mount Washington, Point of View is a must-visit park that boasts not only a stunning bronze sculpture of George Washington but also breathtaking panoramic views of Pittsburgh. This remarkable statue commemorates the historic meeting between Washington and Seneca leader Guyasuta, making it a significant cultural landmark.
Great place to see the entire city. Awesome place to take photos, and there's a tower viewer you can use to get a closer look as well. There is no official parking that we saw, so we parked on a side street across the way. It looked like most of the residents utilize the road for parking, so we blended right in for our short stop there. Worth the stop when you're in Pittsburgh.

I highly recommend a visit to the top of both the Monongahela and Duquesne Inclines. Both have beautiful, and different views of the city. We went up there for the night view on our last day and of course it rained. We'll try again next time we're in town.

Visited this sculpture during a trip on the nearby incline. It is one of the few attractions that are available on the top part of the incline. Nice statue with some good photo opportunities. The best part of the area is the view you get of the city of Pittsburgh. It is even better on days where the weather is nice. Good attraction in the area.

There is no parking lot so you need to find some on street parking near by! The views are Amazing! I definitely recommend you checking it out!a piece of history with gorgeous views! I definitely would go back again!

It was definitely worth the drive up here. The view is breathtaking. Parking can be a bit tricky. We just parked on the one side street and walked down real quick. We didn't stay, only long enough to get our pictures. Our car didn't get ticketed or towed. Mission accomplished.

Great part of history in Pittsburgh. There is a plaque and memorial in place at this site with the history of what came about from the Native Americans coming here. It is such a neat piece of history. The view here is phenomenal. You get a clear view of the fountain and point state park as well as the city in the background. I recommend visiting this site if you are in the city visiting. Even for the view it's worth the stop.

Well-maintained urban park with gorgeous views of downtown Pittsburgh. It's places like this that make a city vibrant and liveable. Come in the afternoon for the best photos. What I really loved about the North Shore Riverfront Park was that it was near the football stadium that the Pittsburgh Steelers play their home games at and it is friendly for walkers and runners as well.
Sara — Google review
So relaxing. The kids can run around in the grass (while avoiding the bird poo), you can have a picnic, sit and people watch on a bench, walk along the river, or jog. I like to take some snacks and music down there and walk along the river admiring the boats and one side of the Heinz stadium. I wish there was a bathroom. You must see if a restaurant will let you use theirs if you need to go, because otherwise there isn't one. Even during covid-19, there's quite a few people in the general area, but not necessarily walking along the river. Great night life for young adults.

This is a very nice little grass area on Pitt Campus. For the six years that I was at Pitt, I would come here many times to relax, do homework, try the food from the food stands, and visit various music festivals and events here. Whoever manages this plaza does a good job keeping it clean. There's also a small carousel and merry-go-round for kids. My church has also come here to host bible studies. Lastly, sometimes they have free fitness sessions here like Yoga and Meditation.

Such a nice plaza. You can relax or walk around. There are restaurants, an ice cream shop, and very clean restrooms in the area. The lawn is beautiful and nice for lounging or a picnic.
Sandy M — Google review
Everything an urban park should be. Not overwhelmingly huge, open, airy, several food options including one lovely place called The Porch. There’s also table tennis, lovely plantings, mod seating, and of course, a carousel. What’s also nice is the surrounding buildings that add to the character of the park.
KGQ N — Google review
Schenley Plaza is a wide, green hangout in Oakland, a short walk from CMU and right by the Cathedral of Learning. It’s an easy place to pause between classes: a big lawn with moveable chairs and tables, plenty of shade, and a friendly, open feel. In warm weather the carousel runs and kids laugh, while students read, eat, or meet for group work at the edges. Food stands and nearby cafes make it simple to grab lunch and sit outside. There are often small events or music, but most days it’s calm enough to study or people-watch. It works for quick breaks, laid-back picnics, and evening chats after lab. When you’re done, you can head straight into Schenley Park, over to Phipps, or back to campus in a few minutes. It’s simple, central, and welcoming.

Riverview Park, located in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a sprawling public park offering a wide range of recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as a dog park, baseball field, observatory, and various trails for hiking and exploring. The park's swimming pool provides a refreshing escape on hot days.
Riverview Park offers amazing views and peaceful spots to relax, with plenty of trails and pavilions nestled into the woods. It’s a nice place to escape to in the city. The scenery is nice but not breathtaking. It’s a good place for a quiet day outdoors. Do note that you cannot see the river from the park very well as the title may suggest. However, be cautious if visiting closer to sunset, as there are sometimes suspicious vehicles and people around. Additionally, the roads in the park are in rough shape—bumpy and poorly maintained. In some spots, the road even looks like it’s falling off the cliff, so drive carefully. In regard to the other city parks, Schenley, Frick, and Highland Parks are all better in my eyes.

Riverview park is a gem of a city park. Maybe it's not as nice as north or Frick park, but it's SO underrated! There's a swimming pool, a playground, hiking trails, picnic areas, and event venues all in one place! I imagine it'd make an epic family reunion spot. Have kids bring swimsuits and get in for free! I'm a fan of Summer Saturday Jazz and movies in the park, bring a bottle of wine and share a glass with the Asian guy 😁

We just went on one trail so I can’t speak about all the trails or the whole park, but it is beautiful. Google maps doesn’t show all the places you can park, but there are signs here and there. Allegheny Landing is a charming green space located along the Allegheny River, featuring an array of sculptures and serving as a popular spot for picnics and boat launches. As one of the first urban riverfront sculpture parks in the country, it offers modern sculpture installations amidst waterfront biking and walking trails. The park provides stunning views of downtown Pittsburgh, especially at night when the city's reflection can be seen on the river.
Great space with some of the best views of the downtown Pittsburgh skyline. A must visit for photographers. Lovely walk along the water (Allegheny and Ohio rivers) going in either direction. Right next to PNC Park (Home of the Pirates) and Acrisure Stadium (Steelers) a bit further west. A few museums also in the immediate area: the Andy Warhol Museum, the Childrens Museum and the Carnegie Science Center. You can walk across most (if not all) of the bridges into the downtown area. I ended up parking downtown and walking across the Roberto Clemente bridge to the Landing area...perfect walk for a mild summer night. Safe even after dark with walkers, runners and bikers present. We have been able to enjoy a boat tour for the past three years when we visit for work in the fall. It's always a nice comfortable time. The history and jokes are fun. It's relaxing, the drinks and food are good. They offer some basic concession food. Hot dogs/ popcorn and serve alcohol.

We took the captains dinner cruise. The food was pretty good, the scenery was beautiful, it was a calming and relaxing experience. My favorite aspect was enjoying the crisp night air on the open air deck after we finished our dinner.

The Friday R&B dance party was just one my favorite things I've done all summer!! The drinks were pretty expensive and the snack station ran out of buffalo and BarQ chicken and that was left to choose from was a hot dog and nachos. The cheese sauce could've at least been warm. But overall I really enjoyed myself. The DJ was lit all night and night view of my beautiful, Pittsburgh city from top deck of the boat was just breathtaking!!

All I can say if you're going to a Steelers game or a pirates game it's a must at least one time. Go ahead and get the round trip ticket while you're there and be careful around water! Took my jacket off and one of my earbuds popped off into the water it's gone.

Fountain
Point State Park Fountain is a breathtaking landmark in Pittsburgh, featuring a magnificent 150-foot fountain that gracefully rises above a sprawling 200-foot-wide basin. Nestled at the confluence of three rivers, this park offers an expansive area perfect for capturing unforgettable moments, whether you're planning a romantic proposal or simply enjoying the scenery. The fountain operates from May to October, providing an enchanting backdrop for photography—especially during sunset and twilight when the light casts magical hues over the water.
It wasn't turned on for the season yet, weather was cold and brutally windy (with a few snowflakes in the air!), however none of that distracts from the fountain area of the Point. Gorgeous spot to see the city core and surrounding neighborhoods!

Great place to take in the sites of the two rivers forming the Ohio River. Great views of bridges and architecture of Pittsburgh's history. The are no guardrails and nothing to protect you from accidental items blowing into the rivers. Please secure your gear and personals. Great place to run, bike and have lunch. Security was always present. You also enjoy and mini botanical garden tour or hear the games at the stadium.
Fort L — Google review
One of the best spots in all of Pittsburgh, place where two rivers meet with a really neat fountain and fun social area.

This was the start of my 350 mile ride from Pittsburgh to D.C. along the GAP and C&O trail. The park has a beautiful view but smells of the many homeless people that hang out in the park.
Ryan C — Google review
Very nice place to go for a walk or company event. Also a good spot to cast a fishing rod for a catfish

Cool space to hang out, unfortunately the fountain was under construction/repair.

The point State Park is a must see place if you are visiting Pittsburgh. Offcouurs, if you want to enjoy the fountain splash, the ideal season would be summer and fall, but the park is open year round. This is the junction of all three Pittsburgh rivers. You can even see the difference water colors of the rivers

Inclined railway station
The Duquesne Incline offers a stunning vantage point, especially in the afternoon. The best time for photos varies with the seasons due to changing shadows. City shots can be taken with any lens, but a wide-angle lens is recommended for capturing both the city and the incline. Visitors can enjoy free access to the incline by purchasing an 'All Day Pass,' which also covers parking, metro rides, bus transportation across the river, and local rides within the 'free fare' zone.
This is an amazing ride up the hill great view awesome look out neat little self guided tour underneath of the mechanicals for the incline. very reasonable priced, five dollars round-trip for adults they only take cash so be prepared no cards This would be a cool stop before date night, there's a little pub across the street and several steakhouses within a two minute walk I rode the tram from the bottom up there's lots of parking you do need to walk across the pedestrian bridge it's definitely a destination for something fun to do for a few minutes there is parking at the top also that may be the best alternative if you plan on visiting one of the steakhouses
Jimmy S — Google review
Review for the top station. You pay for your trips (both ways) whenever you are at the bottom station. 5 dollars per person for a round trip (cash only - exact amount only, there is a change maker at the bottom of the station if you need it). Do a 10 min walk over once you get to the top for some great overlooks. The top is a lot cooler (more things to do) than the bottom. Cars run regularly and quickly, you will not have to wait long to go back. Small gift shop kiosk at the top. Other pictures of cool things about the area/inclines at the top. I parked up top on a Sunday and it was free street parking. There is metered parking any other day (not that many spaces so you many have to park below in a paid lot). The view is great and it's a great Pittsburgh experience you should probably do at least once!
John H — Google review
Really old incline railway that's being preserved for future generations to ride and enjoy. Fares and donations are being used for upkeep and maintenance. Photo opportunities abound, especially at top platform.
Jay S — Google review
So not being from Pittsburgh, this was a real experience… we didn’t know quite what to expect and hopping on board the incline at the bottom and going up at first was a little unnerving! It’s steep and goes up pretty high. But after we realized it’s exceedingly safe, well maintained we did enjoy the trip up and down. The views are absolutely spectacular and you can see three rivers crystal clear and all of the downtown and the stadium. It was a really neat experience and we will definitely do it again. If you’re afraid of heights like I am, it might not seem like your cup of tea but if you can muster through it, it’s an experience like none other. I’m glad I did it.
John — Google review
This was easily the best experience of our spring break trip! We had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of meeting John and Gary, both a part of the Saturday night crew. They were so kind as to show us how the incline works and chat about recommendations in the area as this is our first time here. We will remember this specific moment of our trip forever. The ride was so fun and the sights were so beautiful. There is lots to learn and see here, a MUST do for anyone visiting Pittsburgh! Thanks again Gary and John you made our trip. -Quinn and Grace

This was a very cute small functional museum in Pittsburgh about the local tram-system. They had pictures of other tram-systems from around the world and historical examples from postcards and pictures of the local living history. The cost of admission to the museum is free with donations appreciated and the cost of the actual tram ride is only $2.50. It provided a great view of the city and was a beautiful example of local Pittsburgh living history.

Great experience and ride back in history. If in town don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy the view from this public form of transportation. Feels like a ride, but definitely the best way up and down the hill. I would definitely put this on your must do list when in Pittsburgh.

Restaurant
Eliza Hot Metal Bistro offers a great dining experience with attentive and friendly service. The food is delicious with generous portions, and the buffet brunch is a popular choice. There are also plenty of menu options for lunch and dinner.
A contemporary bistro located inside of Hotel Indigo near the South Side.  Featuring breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour, live music and great vibes.  The space is pretty large, and the food prices are great.  We tried the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, it was superb. Fettuccine noodles and tomatoes tossed in a creamy Parmesan sauce topped with grilled chicken. Also had the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon which was cooked to perfection, a teriyaki honey glazed piece of salmon topped with a pineapple salsa served with mashed potatoes and a seasonal veggie which was asparagus. Can’t forget about dessert, the Molten Chocolate Cake A La Mode absolutely hit the spot! Right now through February they’re featuring a winter pop up bar- Snowflake and Spirits! Located inside Eliza. Featuring creative, handcrafted cocktails as well as seasonal mocktails.  The space is decorated adorably and has the coziest vibes, very festive! Tons of photo ops as well!  Tried two cocktails from their pop up menu- the Black Swan Cranberry Sangria and the Gingerbread Martini. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. There is a parking garage next door, as well as some street parking available, they have their own lot, but for guests. Would recommend checking them out!

This restaurant inside the Indigo hotel is quite a find. It serves classic American fare in a nice setting. The place is actually quite large, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Being the only restaurant in that office park, and within easy walking distance of so many businesses, I was amazed that me and a colleague were the only ones having lunch there. Our waiter was very good. He answered all our questions and checked back on us frequently enough to make sure we were taken care of, while not so much that he interfered with our meal. I got the Tomato Basil Bisque and it was really nice and I paired it with their chicken sandwich. It was a really nice pairing. My colleague got one of their burgers and chip and it looked pretty good too. Prices are very reasonable. With no one else eating, we were able to have a nice lengthy conversation and a good time.

We had such a great dining experience here that we plan on coming back anytime we're in the area. Our server Jeremy was incredibly gracious, friendly and always smiling. He made us feel like we were getting special treatment. We came during happy hour and were beyond pleased to see that the portions were still very generous. We usually avoid happy hours because most establishments reflect the discount in the reduced portion size they give you. The atmosphere was lively without being so loud that we could still carry on a conversation.
Steve L — Google review
Staying at Hotel Indigo breakfast was not included but good thing was that Eliza was a good option at all times! The food was reasonably priced and ok. I must warn that serving was slow and on special occasions you need to reserve a spot.

If you find yourself staying at the Indigo Hotel or near the hotel, stop downstairs and go inside the Eliza Bistro. The service and food are fantastic!!! The dishes that come out of this kitchen are definitely top notch. The chefs really care about how the plating looks when it comes out of the kitchen. KUDOS to the chefs and staff!!! From Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, you will enjoy them. Thank me when you enjoy your meal there

The space is absolutely beautiful. The incorporation of steel + mod is perfect. The salmon dish I had for lunch was cooked to perfection and the flavor is still on my tongue. Nestled between downtown Pittsburgh and Polish Hill, Frank Curto Park may be easily overlooked due to its small size. However, the park offers a unique vantage point with stunning views of Downtown, the Strip District, North Side, and Lawrenceville. Despite its somewhat hidden location and challenging access road, the park is a beloved spot for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful urban oasis. Visitors can admire an intriguing steel structure sculpture made of Pittsburgh's iconic yellow steel while enjoying encounters with local wildlife.
They have finally fixed the rutted road and mowed the overgrown grass at this beloved park with a city view!! My favorite place to pull over and chill out in nature on my commute home. And a really wonderful place to catch fireworks whenever they happen again!
Jessie V — Google review
A nice park beside a busy road. It has great views of various Pittsburgh neighborhoods and downtown. There's only one piece of artwork on the land. The spring will have multiple redbud trees in bloom; other than that, there really isn't anything else to recommend it. Aside from the view, this is a totally forgettable park.
Brian M — Google review
I've always been a fan of this park! It's such a hidden gem in Pittsburgh and not easy to get to considering you can only get to it from 380 heading towards the city, not to mention that the entrance way isn't necessarily passenger car friendly. However, once you get to this Oasis in the city, you'll find one of the most unique steel structure sculptures with Pittsburgh's famous yellow steel. If you've made it to this park and you see this post, you are one of a kind!

At 1 time, A long time ago, The "FRANK CURTO PARK" on Bigelow Blvd was a BEAUTIFUL Place to stop at to TAKE Pictures of Downtown Pittsburgh, Others would pull up w/ Their Girlfriends, Wives, Out of Town Visitors & Others to show off & enjoy the VIEW. Now it's become a RUNDOWN piece of WASTED Property w/ TAXPAYERS still PAYING the TAX BILL. The SUNRISE & SUNSET over the HIGH Hills & Streets of Pittsburgh makes it an AWESOME & PICTURESQUE View. It's a TOTAL SHAME that the "FRANK CURTO PARK" isn't being used as a SIGHTSEEING TOOL for the Pittsburgh Visitors & Tourists Bureau.

Station Square is a bustling area that offers stunning views of the city. It's not just about Mount Washington; you can also hop on the Monongahela Incline or bike to the Duquesne Incline for more breathtaking sights. The well-maintained station provides convenient access to downtown, with plenty of seating and nearby dining options. Additionally, it's a great starting point for exploring Mystic Ruins and offers easy access to transportation options like buses and the T station.
It was always my to go spot for downtown views , cafe and nice restaurants .
Syed M — Google review
Convenient location to get off at, Station Square is right there, Smithfield St, the inclines are across the street and there is a bus stop there as well. The station itself is pretty old and not taken care of but like everything else Pat Transit operates, it's dirty, old, and could use a power wash and some paint. This could be a beautiful station instead of what it is now, kinda sad. To think it took a Norfolk-Southern train derailment and ultimately their insurance company to pay the bill to finally see improvements starting to get done.

Ollie's Gastropub, located in the Oliver Building as part of the Embassy Suites Downtown Pittsburgh Hotel, offers stunning views of downtown Pittsburgh. The gastropub is known for serving exceptional cocktails and boasts a prime location with striking views of PPG Place, the Duquesne Incline, and even a direct view of homeplate at PNC Park. While some visitors have experienced slow service due to high customer volume, others have praised the delicious chocolate cake and intriguing cocktail menu.
The staff provided wonderful service under less than great conditions…more customers than predicted. The kitchen had issues keeping pace. Our server, Alan, was great and friendly. His colleague at the bar held her own. Thank you for a wonderful send off of our first cruise.
Victoria S — Google review
If you can grab a spot by a window, this place has beautiful views of downtown Pittsburgh. The chocolate cake was devine, and there is a cocktail menu with interesting options too. When I visited, service was slow due to lack of staff for the volume of customers, but the bartender who was working was attentive and doing her best to balance the abundance of customers. (It was right after a Steelers game).
Stacy D — Google review
Hotel bar with full bar and like 8 beer taps. They serve food but possibly not every day. They may not even be open every day as it was last stay but not stay a couple months prior. Always have food service. Be patient as the bartender is usually an all in one person, especially later I'm evening.
Shaun S — Google review
I stay at the Embassy Suites a lot but have only dined in twice. The first time they nailed my order, but today, they left half the toppings off my salad....which didn't leave much. I got a house salad with salmon, and they only put olives on it, no cheese, no tomato. Green olives and balsamic didn't really pair well together on their own. Would have been nice to have some other flavors balancing them out. A $24 salad should at least come with all the toppings it advertises. Also ordered a cup of soup. That was not great. The salmon on the salad was cooked well though, so I appreciate that!
Megan M — Google review
Hours posted are not accurate, and it was not clear when it’s actually open. Kitchen was not open for lunch on a Saturday and the bar closed at midnight on Saturday night. (Google listed 10pm, embassy suits website listed 1am.) Drinks were good when we were able to get them on Friday night.

The bar is located inside the Embassy Suites Hotel by the hotel reception on the 25th floor. The hotel itself is OK, definitely not a 4 star hotel despite the rating. This bar is OK, has limited hours and really only caters to hotel guests. The floor it's located on is very tired, hasn't been refurbished in a long time.... compared to a real 4 star hotel bar it's not good at all.
