Pittsburgh Winery is a beloved spot where every wine is crafted with care and passion by the owners themselves. Their 2009 cabernet sauvignon, made from Sonoma County grapes, boasts a smooth texture and intricate flavors of plum and blackberry. The winery's cellar concerts offer an intimate setting to savor their wines while enjoying live music. The Cellar, located beneath the tasting room, hosts various performers in a unique space surrounded by wine casks.
Pgh Winery is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine or catch a live show. There is a tasting room upstairs and a music venue downstairs. The wine is made in pittsburgh with grapes imported from Chile and california. They also have several local breweries and craft beer on tap. The music venue is one of my favorite places in the city to watch a band. It a spacious, has plenty of seating, two bars, and the sound is excellent. They also have food options available from DiAnoia's. This place is definitely worth a visit if you haven't been there yet.

Went and saw a comedy show here the other weekend and it was pretty awesome. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. My friends and I had an amazing time. There was an incident with a rowdy patron and they handled it quickly, quietly, and respectfully with very little disruption to the show.
Kihra K — Google review
On 6/15/25 was at the Winery for a concert. Being disabled i look for certain things to make my experience better or, unlike some places, actually accessible. The owner has turned this spot into a real gem in the Strip! The bathrooms are plenty accessible in my wheelchair and they have a lift to take you downstairs to the concert stage. The stage area has wine barrels stamped with the wineries logo with some awesome backlighting, which makes for a spectacular backdrop. The sound was excellent and the employees were the same! I would definitely attend more events at this venue.
Jeff G — Google review
They have mostly dry wines, which I do not like but my husband does, but they do have other options. They have a decent selection of local beers on tap and they also make a delicious Sangria, which the owner said they change seasonally! I loved the sangria! It was refreshing after a long day of walking the Strip District. The owner was delightful to talk with about their offerings. We will definitely stop in each time we visit the Strip.
Liz L — Google review
We visited the (Original) Pittsburg Winery for the first time to see Noah and Abby Gundersen in concert and can say it was extremely positive experience. The venue itself was small and intimate, appearing to hold around 300 guests. Acoustics were good despite a wedding reception going on in the venue upstairs. Bar staff was friendly and relatively unobtrusive during the show. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. In short, we’d consider making the three hour drive again to attend a concert.
Dani J — Google review
Outstanding venue with a variety of artists. Menu could use a boost. The food selections were not as advertised, but still tasty.
Stephany C — Google review
Great concept and good wines. The Cab, Tempranillo, Malbec, and White blend were very tasty and complex. Well done.
Saad — Google review
Awesome spot, great wine, and the best staff. Even if you are not a wine drinker, they have alternate alcohol and N/A options. A true ORIGINAL Pittsburgh staple that has always, and continues to keep local music alive and well. 10 out of 10.

Engine House 25 Tasting Room is a unique winery located in the basement of an old engine house fire station, sharing space with The Clemente Museum. The winery offers tours and tastings by appointment and is situated between The Strip District and Lawrenceville. It also serves as a wine cellar, commercial photography studio, and event venue. With its connection to the Roberto Clemente Museum, it's filled with memorabilia of the beloved Pittsburgh Pirate.
I was gifted a bottle of Franco's Italian Army Sangiovese, and was compelled to come here to leave a review. This wine is truly one of the best that I've had!! I look forward to visiting the tasting room soon and trying more of Engine House 25's wines.

Highly do not recommend this place. This is how they do business. We got two tickets as gifts from our friends for Wine and Cheese tasting, all info on tickets were just about the time and place, 7-9pm, we came at the exact place at 7:30 which was 30 minutes late from event starts (please take a look that there is no info that u gotta be exact in a time or they gonna close the doors). Place was closed, nobody inside, nobody outside, no signs, no pathways. Nothing. Me and my wife were walking about 40 mins around the building trying figure out whats going on. I was even tried to call them - no answers, but they called me back after 3 days and offered me another event without a timing and without explanation why can't we get refund for the tickets. I wasted my time to talk with a super rude lady over the phone about the whole situation - and believe me when i say rude - that mean absolutely rude. I even came there personally next day tried to figure out what is going on but just a guy came out and told me she going to call me back next day - nobody called me back. So how the situation looks to me as a customer - NO EXPLANATION HOW TO GET TO THE EVENT, on the ticket the adress and the place are actually getting you confused because the name of the place for event is just different and they will tell you - this is your fault that u don't know. No sign out side, no people who can meet you and walk you to the right place, no phone answers and every lights were turned off. PLEASE TELL IF I"M MAKING A GIFT FOR ANOTHER PERSON HOW THEY SHOULD KNOW HOW TO GET TO UR PLACE? Even the numbers on the building - they are hiding them! They litteraly just put a sign which hiding the numbers of building!!! There is no info on facebook, on ur website, no info on the door, no info at all. But you charging people full price with no refund policy and u can't even offer an event BACK. All they told me "we can offer you another event but we don't have a schedule yet so you gotta wait until we call you back". Excuse me call me back when? What event? Why can't we get a refund if it's your fault but not ours? Why you making your customers being responsible for your mistakes? Why you can't offer us another event for early date or something instead? It's all shame to work like that. You scamming people for your own mistakes. This is how you guys gonna deal with them if u'd get late for a 30 mins on their event. They just will take your money and they gonna say "it's your fault". Will see what lawyers will tell us about this situation as it's just insulting. Robbers.

Awesome Museum!!! A must if you are going to be in town for a baseball game. All kinds of Clemente memorabilia and history. Make sure to make reservations to check it out too! Plus they also make some amazing wine!!! Make sure to get a few bottles.
Jonathan Z — Google review
Great venue for hosting an event. We held an event for the Health Activist Network here, approx 65 people fitting comfortably in the space with room for a stage. The museum itself is a great tribute to the legacy of Roberto Clemente and worth checking out.

Amazing place! Helpful staff, beautiful decor, interesting stories! So, so good!!

A hip winery tucked beneath the first floor of the Roberto Clemente museum. It offers great options for personally labelled bottles, barrels, and tastings. Great for events and parties, filled with enough visual eye candy to keep you looking for hours.

Incredible experience and fantastic wine. The owner, Duane, is an awesome guy willing to go out of his way to make the experience even better.

Had a great time in a space full of wonderful memorabilia of Roberto Clemente & other Pirate greats! Wine was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Sauvignon Blanc.

Cider bar
Pizza restaurant
Threadbare Cider House, located in the North Side, offers a unique experience with signature and experimental ciders paired with creative pizzas and locally made charcuterie. The cider house uses locally sourced ingredients to craft their tasty concoctions. Their artisan personal pizzas feature seasonal ingredients, such as charred fennel, peach, preserved lemon, black pepper, mozzarella, and brie. The perfectly cooked crust adds a delightful crunch to each bite.
The cutest place with the best Cider in ALL of Pittsburgh! I fell in love instantly! This brewery is so cute and the inside is adorable. I loved how passionate Bryan was about the process of creating the Cider. He had a vast knowledge and a clear admiration for create new and fun flavors of Cider and the history behind the process! The pizzas were sooooo good. Fresh and made to order. Great toppings and choices. As well as their Ciders. SOOOO many different options to choose from. You have to try Northern Sky if you go! It's not too sweet and it's not too tart! The perfect blend! Oh did I mention..... there is PLENTY OF PARKING such a win for anyone worried about where to park! Also all the waitstaff is super friendly!

My sister had her rehearsal dinner here. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and the food.... was off the charts!

Very cool spot with both indoor & outdoor seating. Outside has some lawn games, like Kan Jam, Cornhole, Connect 4, etc. We chose to sit outside: while it was a little buggy, we didn’t get any mosquitos bites. I definitely recommend getting a flight while here - they had a nice range of ciders to enjoy. Their pizzas are solid, but nothing outstanding. We enjoyed the flavorings of the oil drizzle on the 5 Cheese pizza. Like other reviews have mentioned, the ordering process is a bit troublesome. You’re given a stop/go system to flag down the staff, but there’s poor WiFi connection outdoors. Our drink order didn’t make its way to the kitchen as first & we had to physically move closer to the building to get the card reader to process our check at the end of the night. Regardless, the staff were both friendly & great - so as long as you get their attention, they’ll take care of you & work through any problems!

Came here recently with some family and friends for brunch and we left stuffed. We booked way in advance and got seated right by the glass door where we could watch the Cider tours. Our party ordered the cheese, meat plates and the sourdough french toast for appetizers. We cheese was so fresh and they had a great selection of meats. The french toast is a much order if you want something sweet. As for the pizzas, we ordered the hash, roasted apple, zucchini, margherita, and pepperoni. We all fought for the hash and the apple. They have a nice combination of savory pizzas. The flights provided a nice addition to meal. I'd definitely get the Experimental and down the bourbon barrel. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here. Service was great and the ingredients in all of the dishes were so fresh. The cheese here is just on another level. Highly recommend this spot for brunch and large groups.

Here me out - I think this place has potential, but what we experienced during our visit was definitely a mismanaged, shoot from the hip, type of atmosphere. The place is nice and the food is pretty good, but from pulling into the parking lot, to being told how to order and then where and from whom to order, this felt very disjointed. When you pull in, there is a place to sit outside, but there was no one there. We went upstairs where we found someone who said all orders had to go through her, and we could order using a QR code. This was all fine, with the slight exception that mobile service is rough here and there is no WiFi. Moving on, we got some drinks, cider, which in general felt a bit unfinished to me, but was fine, and went downstairs to sit outside. Then the wait staff started showing up. They told us we had to order through them. Long story short, our order got lost and we waited about 1.5 hours before asking what was going on. They offered a discount for the late meal, which they ended up not giving us, and then said we'd get a free pizza next time... Which they didn't give us. Instead they gave us 2 drink vouchers all after telling the wait staff that we wanted to cancel the order and would share our friends' instead. So we went from getting a refund, to getting the food after we shared our friends' meal, and not getting it discounted at all. Again, I think this place is fine overall and has potential, but from the experience we had here, we don't plan to return.

We dined here on a Saturday evening in February after a tour of Penn Brewery. We did not have reservations but they were able to squeeze us in which was so nice and very much appreciated! We'll know next time that reservations on a Saturday evening are very much necessary. My sweet raspberry cider was out of this world! So very refreshing with a wonderful raspberry flavor! My veggie supreme pizza was delicious! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!
Marie — Google review
Cool spot - yummy food, great atmosphere, and delicious cider! We sampled 2 cider flights and really enjoyed the Farmhouse. Pizza was pretty good this was the Sweet Heat a good mix of spice and honey just wished it was a bit more well done. Wasn’t too busy on our Friday night dinner but it’s pretty small space and not too many tables so I wound suggest a reservation.
Veronica R — Google review
It's a 5/5 for ciders and about 3/5 for pizza. Amazing choice of ciders, easy to find something for yourself. I'm definitely tempted to try more in future! Unfortunately pizza was disappointing, both the regular one and gluten free.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Pittsburgh, Arsenal Cider House & Wine Cellar is a must-visit destination for cider enthusiasts. This charming establishment began its journey in Lawrenceville, right next to the picturesque Arsenal Park, and has since expanded to include additional taprooms at Trax Farms and Soergel Orchards. The original location boasts a historic row house that exudes character throughout the year.
This is the perfect place for a low-key, catch-up with friends and family. My current favorite cider is the Grant's Pumpkin. It tastes like fall in a cup! The pretzels were brushed with garlic butter, they didn't last long enough for a pic. The Ruben was incredible I would recommend for anyone who likes Rubens. You will not be disappointed!

13 types of cider on tap and more bottled. Can try 3 samples per person before purchase. All were excellent, as was the food. The Cubano was on- point!
Jennifer S — Google review
From the Cleveland area where I got introduced to these guys and Arsenal has become my favorite cider over the years so we stopped by the original cider house where it started! If you havent been here and you like ciders, your missing out! The sorbet hits the spot on a hot day as well. They do have shortened hours so be sure to check those to make sure they are opened
Nathan B — Google review
Great place to spend some time outdoors while the weather is good! The cider is very good and the atmosphere is great! There are multiple big tables and several "traditional" games to play. The only thing I missed was some background music throughout the afternoon. But, overall, great place to hang out with friends outdoors.
Catarina G — Google review
I was disappointed when I saw a closed sign in the window on a Saturday late afternoon… until I saw the sign on the door telling me that they were open outside! A better venue for enjoying the cider anyway!! They had live music and an area for playing cornhole and plenty of seating. It was an enjoyable place to have a drink. They had multiple ciders on tap, listed from driest to sweetest, and you could sample what you wanted. You could buy an overpriced plastic cup full or a much more reasonable refillable 1 liter glass bottle ($4 cheaper for the refill!). Parking was a hassle but nothing major. The raspberry cider was fantastic!
Brian V — Google review
Talk about an awesome spot for a cider drinker like myself. I happened upon this place as I was having dinner down the street and friends mentioned this place and we decided to mosey on over. We were able to taste a few ciders and I left with two bottles. I highly recommend
Carlos R — Google review
This is a go to spot when in Pittsburgh. They have a variety of different ciders that fits all taste preferences. They do a great job of deciphering the sweetness level, flavor profiles and alcohol percentage. I also like how most ciders have a higher percentage to them. The inside area is vintage and the outdoor area is very accommodating. There is a variety of picnic tables, connect four, ring toss and Cornhole.
Austin B — Google review
I am obsessed with Arsenal Cider. It is my favorite. I seek it out anytime I go to buy craft beer and cider. This brand is really important to me and this is the first time I've had the chance to make it out to the cider house. They had so many interesting new things I haven't tried in cans. I ordered the Spicy Archibald & The Rhubarb. Both were magnificent! I can't wait to go back sometime. The outside patio was adorable and so quaint for just sitting and drinking with friends.

Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh is a Southside favorite, offering an authentic Bavarian-style beer experience with traditional snacks and live entertainment. Modeled after the famous Munich original, it provides a taste of Europe in the Steel City. The large beer garden along the river is perfect for enjoying a warm summer night under the stars.
For our last dinner in Pittsburgh after a hot day in the sun, we enjoyed a meal at Hofbrauhaus! Ashely was an excellent server and all of the food was delicious. She recommended beers to my parents that they really enjoyed. The ambiance was fun too! Wish we had this back home in CT.
Food C — Google review
Amazing food and great service. We had a great dinner with the Munich sampler, the bratwurst chili, the pork shank, and kids menu of schnitzel and mini corndogs. Hubby had the beer on tap and enjoyed every bite and drink. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you want a chill dinner in a large dining hall. Noise level was medium/high but they also have a pretty patio area. They carry Pepsi products for those who are particular about their soda
Janet D — Google review
The Hofbräuhaus keg tapping is an unforgettable experience that blends tradition, excitement, and German charm. From the keg parade before the keg tapping to the pouring of the keg; the energy in the room is electric. The live music, authentic German beer, and festive atmosphere make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Munich. The staff is friendly and engaging, and the quality of the beer is outstanding—smooth, fresh, and perfectly poured. It’s more than just a drink; it’s a celebration of culture and community. Truly an excellent event that should not be missed!

A nice German-style tavern. Lot's of room even for larger parties. The beer was good, but the food could have been better. The quality of the sausage meat & spices was not of the highest caliber. It was still decent though and the sauerkraut was very good.

Came here during Oktoberfest event. It was great! Tasty food and beer. Friendly staff and patrons. Outdoor seating was nice too!

The food was incredibly tasty. The only complaint I had was that the potatoes in the German potato could have been done a bit longer. It is a little loud, so not a great place for intimate conversations

Nestled in the heart of Pittsburgh, Penn Brewery has been a beloved staple since its establishment in 1986. This historic brewery, located in a building that once housed the Eberhardt & Ober Brewery, offers an authentic Yinzer experience with its focus on German-style brews. Visitors can indulge in classic favorites like the rich mahogany Penn Dark lager alongside hearty dishes such as wurst and schnitzel.
This beer goes well with my style of food.. also… I appreciate the label… please support bringing the Three Rivers Arts Festival back to the point.. !! Point state park that is.. !! This could easily be “the” beer of the festival… !! Thank u Penn Brewery.. I love the airport location and that manager also..... and the IPA.. ❤️👍 all the way!! Maybe do a “freshies..” like this but a little more wintery.. for seven springs.. fall to spring.. or ?? This is the last of my 12 pack.. I drank every one from the bottle but this one.. there was some settlement.. but it is really so good.. all around.. !!

Our first experience here was so positive...we came back. Last night after the Steelers game we stopped for a bite to eat. The Weinersnitzel was so dried out and overcooked. The wurst and kielbasa were burnt. Our friends pork was very tough. To top it all off after paying $25 a platter...we were given packs of plastic silverware. I mean cheap plastic silverware with a cheap napkin.Server said this is what is being used during Octoberfest. No regular silver ware! We could not eat our food properly with these utensils because the meat was very tough and all we had was a plastic knife. The ridges wore off! Our forks were melting and we were given another plastic fork! Totally unacceptable.
Ter L — Google review
From the time we walked on the patio we were made to feel like they didn't want us there. When we got inside, same feeling. We were a party of 8 and it was like we were an inconvenience. Server asked us, right away if we could be on 1 bill because she was the only 1 working and food running. We said we weren't getting food and wanted 4 bills. She wasn't overly happy. The flights came out in plastic cups. When she brought us the bills, she threw all 4 on the table. It was a disappointing experience, especially after being at another brewery before hand that was great and the server even told us not to go. Next time we'll listen to the locals! Too bad the experience was horrible because the building and cave outside are very cool.

We just left there and I’ve never been more disappointed in a restaurant. Our server was good, but some of the staff were on their cell phones the entire time we were there. Menu was very limited, it should be expanded during Oktoberfest! I was born and raised in Germany and this is not a German restaurant! Water was served in plastic cups. My goulash was also served in a plastic takeout container with a disposable utensils, I had to use the small plastic desert spoon to eat. Think fast food experience, but more expensive. No French fries (pommes frites) on the menu, they are a staple in Germany. The food was just okay, definitely not authentic German cuisine. Absolutely not returning to this (not so German) restaurant.

The food was delicious. The service was eh. It took over 2 hours to get our food. We watched all the tables around us get their food and go. When we asked about our food they hadn't realized it never came. Our waitress, Harley, was doing the best she could on a very weird night. When the young girl wrapping silverware was at one of the tables we watched her scratch her head with one of the wrapped sets of silverware then took it out to be used. The poutine was amazing.
Kihra K — Google review
A very traditional German-style brewery with a flare for skeletons. Decent food, very good beer (didn't mention flights but do them regularly). Lots of outdoor space including caves but not a lot of signage pointing to the actual door. Parking seems to be in the "garage" up the hill on Troy Hill Rd but it's not well marked. Not too much either, 40 spots max; wouldn't count on it on a weekend.
Matthew S — Google review
Good beer and nice facility; food is not nearly as good as it used to be. The spatzle was made with an American Cheese, like velveta?! The schnitzel were very overcooked. Waitresses worked really hard and provided good service.
Thomas E — Google review
I enjoyed my visit to Penn Brewing sampling locally made Pierogi and Potato Pancakes made in-house along with great beers. The Pittsburgh Steak Egg rolls were significantly different from a Philly Cheese Steak version but enjoying them as well. I ate a lot!

Cider bar
Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Arsenal Cider House is a popular spot for cider enthusiasts. The Lawrenceville location offers a relaxing atmosphere with a wide selection of fruity and crisp ciders to enjoy. Founded just a few years ago, the cider house has expanded its offerings to include flavored ciders and wines like sour cherry and blueberry. The converted first floor of a Lawrenceville home houses this small-batch cider maker, which also has additional locations in Dormont and Wexford.
Delicious cider and excellent service! I wish they had more food choices for dietary restrictions. I'm gluten free and my family is vegetarian so the only shareable option is the hummus appetizer and for the price of it we decided to get takeout from somewhere else🙁
Rachael B — Google review
Such great vibes! Our server Ali was wonderful and so attentive. Got a cider flight, the pear was my favorite. You also had the option to add cider sorbet to your flight. They had grape when we visited, it was so refreshing and yum. The pretzels were also really good! They had a huge selection of ciders and beers it was hard to choose! They have a rooftop area that you can hangout and order drinks at. It was quiet up there I wish they had some music or something.

Arsenal!! Very spacious inside. Upstairs and downstairs. A variety of beers and ciders. Did not try the food but I’m sure it is pretty good! Definitely a nice hangout spot.

Service was incredible!! Shout out to Kris, she’s amazing! Also the ginger beer slushee was insane! we got the pretzels with mustard and cheese and we were able to play some board games. Overall a great time! :)
Rachel V — Google review
The food was pretty good even though it's just sandwiches and chips and a few apps. The ciders are always great too. Definitely want to go back for more cider some time!
Courtney M — Google review
My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here since it is where we had a our first date. They were so accommodating and even helped us to move locations last minute due to weather. The drinks were delicious, as always, and the staff was so kind.

I didnt eat any food. Atmosphere was great. Nice and clean. Ciders were very good. Would recommend going again with friends in the future.
Eric J — Google review
Over-charged my card for a liter of cider and an alcoholic sorbet to go. They charged almost 50 dollars for this. Whack af. I will never come to this particular cider house again. I will just go over to the original one in Lawrenceville in the future where they lay out their prices and don’t rip people off.

KingView Meadhouse & Winery is a charming event venue situated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The establishment is renowned for its on-site production of award-winning mead, wine, and hard cider, which contribute to the diverse menu offerings for special occasions. Despite its proximity to the city center, the venue provides a delightful atmosphere for visitors. Visitors have raved about their experiences at KingView Meadhouse & Winery.
We held my 40th birthday party here. Joe and the staff were incredible. The food was amazing. The atmosphere is provides the perfect space for a small gathering to celebrate. Because of how the space is decorated, there was no need for extra decorations. I had a balloon arch brought in for a photo space, but otherwise the interior design is perfect with no additional touches required. I was able to link my playlist to their Spotify account. I highly recommend Kingview Mead if you are planning to hold a small event. Joe was great to work with and the desserts by Ken were outstanding!

We had my daughter's Gender Reveal party here and everything was wonderful! The event space was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was top notch. Joe made sure everyone was taken care of and our guests even commented on how nice everything was. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the cutest place Ever!! Fall/winter magic cozy medieval vibes inside with an adorable patio outside...the mead was Delicious (especially the maple vanilla) and the charcuterie board was insanely good. Awesome and extensive variety of PA beers too! Very friendly staff! Even the bathroom was lovely with painted sunflowers on the walls. Excited to go back soon! ❤

Second time there. First time last spring with my girlfriends for lunch and the food and drinks were delish, so I wanted to take my oldest son as he loves ciders and Mead. Excellent service and super nice staff. Can't wait to go back.

This place was great. We had a big group and had such a good time. We were t the bar. It was a very comfortable atmosphere. All of the staff were so friendly. I tried several different meads. There was a blood orange flavored mead that was my favorite.

What a cool little spot! The food was great. The mead was fantastic. I love the drink menu that breaks down what's in the drink and the level of sweet ... Dry .. abv.. highly recommend!

Got food or drink orders only about 3 times in a 4 hour period despite being 1 of only 3 parties in the restaurant. Then once we got our medium boneless wings delivered, they were raw in the middle and hot honey vs medium like how we ordered.

SPiLL - The Wine Bar is a cozy and intimate spot that opened in early 2019, offering a handpicked selection of wines from four vineyards, including three from Italy and one from Australia. Visitors can enjoy complimentary tastings to discover their favorite bottles or purchase competitively priced glasses. The shop sells wine by the glass, bottle, and case, with experts on hand to source small-batch wines from around the world.
My favorite wine bar in Pittsburgh - Jim and Robin are so knowledgeable about wine and have taught me a lot. The wine is really good and reasonably priced, and they'll let you try samples until you find something you like. They also encourage you to bring takeout, and they'll pair a wine to go with your meal! Highly recommend!
Lauren W — Google review
This is not a wine bar but an experience! Come tour Italy via your taste buds. Fantastic evening with the 2 owners who covered both whites and reds from 3 small batch wineries in Italy. I will definitely be back! My only suggestion..Get the tip jar out! You guys deserve it! A very hidden gem of Pittsburgh.
Heather C — Google review
I've visited this winery on three different occasions, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The owner, Robin, is absolutely fantastic—whether she remembered me or was just great at making me feel like a returning guest, she always made me feel right at home. She’s always friendly, open to letting you try any of their wines, and takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable and having a great time. It's rare to find a place where you feel treated like family, and Robin makes that happen. The hospitality here is truly refreshing, and I can’t wait to return again!
Cathy T — Google review
LOVED this wine bar! The owners were amazing and made the experience very nice! It was so fun to try a bunch of different wines before we picked what glass/bottle we wanted! I also loved that you could bring your own cheeses/crackers and they provided the board! Overall would recommend and will be going back!!
Rosie S — Google review
They had such a great selection of wines from Italy here! We threw a surprise 30th birthday party for a friend of mine & we had the best time. The staff was very accommodating, welcoming, and very knowledgeable of the wines. The wine tasting was free but we bought a bunch of bottles because they were very affordable. This is a great place to go out with the girls, or if you are looking to start a romantic date night with a glass of Pino, I highly recommend this place! Bring your owns snacks ;)
Caitlin H — Google review
The employees are very knowledgeable about the wine from Italy and are very accommodating in helping us figure out what we would like to drink through sampling different wines. Definitely one of the best wine bar in the city.
Johnathan N — Google review
Went in here the other night not sure what to expect and it was an awesome time. Actually the greatest service I think I’ve ever gotten in this city. The guys knew everything about the wine they were selling and gave us a bunch of samples to try. Wine is delicious and I learned some new things, too. Overall great vibe and will definitely be back.
Samuel T — Google review
We were looking for a local option for wine for our wedding, and SPiLL did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, Jim treated us like family and was so excited to give us a tasting of their delicious wines. He worked with our budget, recommended us the amount of wine for our guests, and kept our glasses filled while doing so! He even loaned us a dolly to get the wine back to our house. Highly recommend this family-owned business for any wine lover, whether its for a lowkey date night or stocking a full wedding!

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Larimer, Jackworth Ginger Beer is a must-visit for ginger beer enthusiasts. This unique producer specializes solely in crafting an impressive range of ginger beers, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as exciting flavored varieties—spicy lovers will definitely want to try their habanero-infused brew! The cocktail menu at Jackworth is equally noteworthy, showcasing creative concoctions that highlight the bold flavors of their ginger beers.
What a cool neighborhood place…except we are from a much different neighborhood. We come in from the north hills of Pittsburgh regularly to enjoy the awesome atmosphere and even better cocktails and Ginger Beer. Their bartenders are outstanding and friendly. Always giving great suggestions for great drinks, but never pushy at all. The ginger beer is DA BOMB!! They make monthly special cocktails that are dynamite. During the warmer months, they have a great patio to hang out and enjoy great company with the awesome cocktails. Do yourself a favor…check this place out!!!
Michael H — Google review
Jackworth is a great spot for the whole crew due it's selection of both alcoholic and NA options. Most offerings feature their ginger beer (which is amazing), but you can get some other really great drinks as well! It's a laid back spot with really cool, and very nice people working the bar! My favorite is the spicy ginger beer, but drinker beware, it is in fact very spicy! It packs the most ginger spice that I've ever had and I love it!
Dillon G — Google review
Amazing. Simply amazing. I was a fan of ginger and a fan of alcohol. But this is not a mere mix of the two. The product is unique and peerless. This establishment could easily be mistaken for a super chic, pretentious high artisan sign of gentrification, but no. There is an old-fashioned appeal, authentic yet forward-thinking and modern. Tyler, who was tending bar, explained that they use classical techniques in their process, maintaining an authentic approach. All done in house. The drinks are exceptional. Nothing is as crisp and refreshing as that OG JGB. The ginger flavor is strong but perfectly balanced with the mild sweetness of the beverage. The 0 proof original seems markedly sweeter than the OG JGB, offering a distinct flavor profile. The spicy 0 proof is bomb, delivering a satisfying kick. I only wish I could enjoy a hot summer day with a spicy alcoholic JGB, but it doesn’t exist… yet. The bar itself has an inviting vibe. It’s been the greatest bar/tavern/pub I’ve patronized in recent memory. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a genuine charm that sets it apart from other places. If you couldn’t tell, I’m super impressed and generally am critical to a point of fault. However, I don’t have a bad thing to say at all. I will be back.
M W — Google review
Very happy! Great craft cocktails start with great ingredients. Their ginger beer is excellent. We took our share home for cocktails. A very small but homely place
Joe M — Google review
We had an amazing experience at your establishment. The service was excellent and the bartender was so friendly. The cocktails were so delicious and I enjoyed the three types of Ginger beer that is made. We had the Dark and Stormy and Texas Medicine. I saw you feature on PTL and could not wait to try it. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you
Heather K — Google review
These ginger beer cocktails (alc/non-alc) have no right to be THIS FREAKING GOOD. Vibes immaculate. Drinks dangerous with how yummy they are ❤️
Alex D — Google review
A great spot for something different, part of the new beverage corridor in Larimer (along with East End Brewing, KLVN Coffee, and Goodlander Cocktails). I've visited JGB several times and have enjoyed their flagship ginger beer, the sorrel (SOOO tasty), the spicy NA ginger beer, and a couple of great gingery cocktails. They also have awesome local beers on tap, if you bring a friend who doesn't like ginger beer. The vibe and people there are chill, and they have 4-packs to go. Definitely worth checking out!
Mike C — Google review
Fun, unusual drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, made with real ginger. Very tasty and exotic. Very nice friendly bartenders too, and good prices.

Nestled in the heart of Greenfield at 557 Greenfield Ave, Greenhouse Co-op is a delightful cidery that doubles as a haven for houseplant enthusiasts. Founded by the Higgins family—William, Tammy, and Darien—after their inspiring journey from Austin to Pittsburgh in 2022, this charming spot offers an inviting atmosphere where visitors can sip on locally fermented ciders or refreshing nonalcoholic options while surrounded by lush greenery.
Such an amazing gem for the greenfield community! The cider is fantastic, the vibe is immaculate, and the owners are the nicest, down to earth people I’ve ever met. We try to go weekly to drink their cider and play board games, and it is the comfiest environment to do so. I highly recommend this place and I hope that Greenhouse Co-op gets the business it deserves!

Delicious ciders brewed in the shop. The owners were great people and a pleasure to meet. In addition to the cider they also sell a variety of house plants that you can take home with you. Great place to visit!
Bill H — Google review
Super cute shop, I bought a $6 parlor palm..very healthy with no pests. The owners are very nice. Didn't try any of the cider but the descriptions look intriguing as many of them have botanical notes. I don't think they offer a hot version of any of the ciders but that might be something to consider during the winter.
Allison S — Google review
This place is incredible! We went in Sunday afternoon and the place is full on a vibe. Plenty of different ciders to choose from, my recommendation is the Frondly Reminder and whatever is their limited time flavor! William was not only an incredible server, but also the owner so they were very knowledgeable about all the different flavor profiles. Honestly just get a flight, cause you really can’t go wrong with what they got on tap!
Daniel M — Google review
Super cute niche little spot tucked away in Greenfield. The cider we had was great. LOVED the walls of plants and of course took one home. We found the prices on plants and cider to be extremely reasonable. See you soon!
