Le Pot au Lait is a unique hang-out spot housed in a 19th-century building, offering an eclectic experience for visitors. The interior is adorned with glow-in-the-dark skeleton murals, stuffed boar heads, and psychedelic patterns, creating a surreal atmosphere reminiscent of a Tim Burton creation on acid. This pub attracts an alternative crowd and is popular among Erasmus students due to its affordability and late-night hours.
We came here for a reason, as it's a fun bar to hang out it. The style is Tim Burton, very funky. Fun to just wander around the various rooms. We came for some drinks in the afternoon, good prices. Definitely recommend for a unique place to stop.

A really hopping place, large inside and out (couldn't believe how many people were sitting outside in the courtyard in 3 degree weather). Fantastical decor, mixed crowd. Highly recommend for a fun drink.
Jonathan M — Google review
If you are into weird unique decors and colorful lighting, this is the place. One of the unique fun bars I ever been to. It's a huge location with mostly outdoor seating with self service ordering of drinks from their extensive menu. It's trippy, it's vibrant and fun to be just there sipping your drink and lost on surroundings.
Naveen S — Google review
Great place with amazing beer. Totally recommend to visit when in Liege!
Nikoleta K — Google review
Le Pot au Lait was so much fun! The place has such cool decorations and a really good vibe. The atmosphere is lively, friendly, and perfect for hanging out with friends. Definitely one of those spots that makes you want to stay longer than planned!
Arvin C — Google review
Truly one of the coolest bars i’ve been to. Loved the crazy decorations, there’s always something interesting to look at! It was also my first time trying Kwak, and i absolutely loved it. The music was so good as well.. if you’re ever in Liège, do yourself a favor and visit this bar! It’s such a cool experience
Anastasia G — Google review
Le Pot au Lait in Liège feels like stepping into a bohemian jungle of murals, mismatched chairs, and easy laughter. Hidden just off the busy Carré, it’s a place where time slows and creativity hums — students sketch, friends debate music, someone reads with a beer in hand. The décor is delightfully chaotic, the atmosphere sincere, and the spirit pure Liège: open, artistic, and unpretentious.

Café Lequet, located near the River Meuse, is a popular old-school pub known for serving the best meatballs in Liege. The hearty dish consists of two meatballs made from a mix of pork and beef, smothered in a thick dark rabbit sauce made mainly from apples, pears, onions, and vinegar. Despite its delicious food, the café has gained a reputation for not being very accommodating to non-French speakers.
Perfect food and atmosphere and very nice staff. We went with two small kids and were served super quickly which is always great!
Marianna B — Google review
Cappuccino was very good. Had only one vegetarian option with cheese. Since I’m not a big fan of cheese, I asked the waitress if I can get only fries, she said yes. After a while she came back and said I must order a dish and only then I’ll get fries - seemed to me a bit strange but I ordered the dish with cheese balls and fries. The cheese balls were okay but the fries had a strong oily smell and taste probably not suitable for my taste buds. I’d probably only go there for coffee but not for food
Pawan K — Google review
Best “Boulet Liégeois” in town! Hands down the best boulet sauce Liégeois in town! I’ve often tried to perfect typical Belgian recipes such as “vol-au-vent”, “carbonnades flamandes”, “American“… and also the boulet Liégeois but have never been able to match or perfect their recipe! The meat is cooked to perfection, the sauce is divine, the fries match well with the dish as they don’t become soggy in the sauce… The atmosphere is typical, the service is friendly and efficient. It’s not somewhere I would go to every day but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic experience!
Henri R — Google review
Café Lequet is a lively and popular spot, especially on weekends when it’s packed with regulars and new visitors alike. The constant flow of customers means tables turn over quickly; a good sign that the food is always fresh. The service is fast, polite, and efficient, though the high pace can sometimes affect quality. In my dish, roasted marrow bones, one piece was undercooked and still pink inside. Despite this, the overall vibe, tasty food, and energy of the place make it well worth a visit. Just be prepared for a busy atmosphere and the occasional slip in consistency.
Arash S — Google review
A cozy restaurant with good food, although our hostess was not so nice. We asked her if we can choose an other table, because the one she gave us was close the door and we were a group of 4. She refused and said she preferred to give it to a group of 5 people, and we were wondering the difference between a group of 4 and a group of 5. The service was so slow as well, we thought she was tired since she was the only one serving everybody that was there...
Y B — Google review
Great atmosphere, very kind people and quick service. On sundays they are busy but manage like pros. Combine it with the Sunday Market at 'la batte' and eat some 'boulette liégeoise' with artisan fries and a fresh Jupiler, you won't be disappointed...
Sven W — Google review
Authentic place , the people are friendly and food is really good I was really surprised by the fries and the croquette actually which were really good even compared to a Friterie , the meatballs and the tete de veau were special too

Brasserie C is a brewery located in a 17th-century building at the foot of Mount Bueren in Liege. The city provided excellent leasing conditions, allowing the entrepreneurs to create one of the most beautiful terraces in town. Visitors can enjoy Curtius 25 cl while observing part of the production process and savoring Pils Field (280) under optimal conditions.
Great place to enjoy wide range of house-brewed local beers. Lots of outdoor seating areas including a garden. Small menu of local specialties (meatballs, cheeses) plus burgers, boards and frites. Staff are all nice, helpful and multi-lingual. Reserve ahead - especially during holiday seasons and winter as the indoor space is not as big. It’s located up a couple stairways, so follow signs.
Patricia W — Google review
Randomly found this amazing brewery/restaurant while climbing on Montagne de Bueren. The atmosphere is just amazing and place itself huge and simply beautiful. We tried couple of their beers, goat and bacon salad, traditional meatballs as well as beef tagliata - all exceptionally delicious. I personally really enjoyed their dark beer with interesting coffee notes.
Anastasiia B — Google review
Had a fantastic time at brasserie C. Went for lunch and we had a fantastic chat time. The place is very large with a lot of seating both inside and outside. Beers were delicious, I enjoyed the sour beer. And ordered the burger. Some of the reviews claimed the burger was not that good, but they were very mistaken. Burger was fantastic. Would highly recommend visiting this spot if in Liège.

Had a great time there, food is nice and staff is very nice. Perfect to have a glance on local cuisine. A little bit slow however, so better to go if you have your time

Very good food, great choice as well on vegetarian options. Unfortunately the neither had nonalcoholic beer nor non-dairy milk to the coffee. But it’s a very cute location with lovely staff.

Le Vaudrée 2 & Beer Shop'E by Vaudrée2 is a haven for beer enthusiasts, offering an extensive selection of over 900 different ales from around the world. The venue also boasts a broad range of Belgian and international beers, with about 25 taps featuring mostly accessible options. In addition to its impressive drink offerings, the establishment recently reopened with a large food menu that includes burgers, pasta, brasserie-style cuisine, salads, and more.
They just reopened a few weeks ago. Big walk in fridge to pick out your beer, absolutely gigantic selection of bottles, plus about 25 taps - mostly accessible stuff however. Large food menu, it was tough to choose. Burgers, pasta, brasserie style cuisine, salads, something for everyone. We split some Ardennese croquettes, it was excellent. My friends' pasta was good, and I really liked my boulets liégeois with a side of gratin dauphinois. Gargantuan portions at reasonable prices. Our beers were also at decent prices. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

A family owned restaurant with great food, great service, huge beer selection. Highly recommend! 😊
Vilia D — Google review
Let me preface this by saying we picked this place because it wasn't very busy and assumed we could eat and drink relatively quickly as a result. We waited a half hour to even get food menus, but despite the drink menus being available we couldn't get our drink order placed until over 30 mins later. Then we had to wait another 30 to receive the drinks. Mind you these weren't even cocktails just bottled beer. The first two food items we tried to order were sold out, finally the third choice ended up being available. Despite having placed a "pre-order" for the second beer after the first taking so long we decided to go up to the bar after waiting yet another half hour.... And....Still didn't get them. It was only after our mediocre food arrived over 2 hours after sitting down at this place that we had to ask yet a third time for our drinks that we finally received them after another albeit shorter delay. Again they were simply bottled beers. We were charged close to €60 for sad food and worse service. Unless you have several hours to piss away don't bother going. The kicker was, the men's bathroom was so gross according to my companion (and he's seen some war stories of bathrooms), that I didn't even want to bother trying the women's. Gave two stars because the staff were nice, and the selection of beers is decent if you manage to get one before giving up and going somewhere else. I'm extremely disappointed that we wasted our only night in Liège here.

Nice place. For Belgium beer lovers this is a real gem. Not much modern about this place at all, but what they do, they do good. Quite taste, wholesome food for okay prices. not very delicate, but well enough done. Very big Belgium beer list with mostly well known beers but also a couple of local brewers you won't quickly find elsewhere. An odd modern craft beer too.

This bar is well-known for its very wide choice of beers! You will find local and foreign beers that you cannot find elsewhere. Basic but food and typical meals are also available.

Tucked away from the bustling streets, Bruit Qui Court offers a unique dining experience that feels like stepping into a cinematic time capsule. As you ascend the small staircase and pass through an inviting curtain, you're greeted by an elegant dining room adorned with mirrors and vintage decor reminiscent of the 1920s, complemented by touches of 1970s flair. The ambiance is enhanced by cool marble floors, towering pillars, and striking holographic art on the walls.
Very nice place. Good choice of quality food. Service was slightly slow considering that the place was not busy but it wasn't too bad.
Julian M — Google review
Worst restaurant experience ever At first all looked fine, however we placed our orders and to make sure the waitress understood (she seemed not always to), we pointed in the menus what we wished to have. 30min later they come and only one of the dishes is what we ordered We place the order again with another waiter and after being there overall 1h 15min, still nothing, so we ask and then they tell us what we ordered is not available, thus telling us we need to order something else. Obviously we left, one of us not having eaten and even to pay we were waiting for a while. Clearly all the stuff is not prepared to take care of such a restaurant. Back in the days it was probably a well-run place, not anymore though.

Located in the heart of Liege, Belgium, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège is a renowned opera house housed in a beautifully renovated 1818 building. The Italian-style auditorium with a painted ceiling provides an exquisite setting for performances by the highly acclaimed Opera Royal de Wallonie. This cultural gem attracts audiences from Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands due to its high-quality programming.
Beautiful building with ornate interior which puts on original, old school opera plays. Gorgeous historical, baroque interior with tons of details. Outside front façade is still original while the other sides have undergone a modern rendition. Opera plays performed here are usually in classical, more traditional costumes and scope but have original twists. Definitely worth a visit and attendance!

Excellent cuisine and very warm welcome. Quantity and quality are both outstanding. It was quite crowded starting from 19:30-20:00, booking strongly advised. For football fans, there are quite a few signed shirt on the wall of fame and even some pictures from Zidane himself!

Great place for moroccan food (coming from a moroccan himself...). Staf is nice, really nice. Ambiance is great, and it's incredibly cheap for the quality of the food. My only issue is finding parking space in the street, but really you can't be wrong going there. Also, it's not fancy. It's simple.

One of the best North African restaurants I’ve been to… and I lived long and hard in France and no longer count them… Even better, found by accident. When I asked a local outside if it was good, he said « yes, but you’ll never get in without a reservation ». I got a table. The staff were great despite being run off their feet. The Museum of Walloon Life in Liege offers a fascinating journey through the history and culture of the region, particularly focusing on the 19th century. The museum boasts an impressive collection that includes a drawing by Vincent Van Gogh, as well as over 1400 works on paper from the 16th and 19th centuries. Visitors can also enjoy traditional Liege puppet shows performed by Theatre des Marionettes, providing insight into local wit and historical significance.
This is a very expansive museum of regional history. It has many exhibits of interest to historians, sociologists, anthropologists, artists, designers, or people interested in the Wallon region. I’d mark it as a must see when in Liége.

Very very nice museum that will helps any visitor to understand the complex and frigile Belgium history. This museum draws the line of a very socialist past, deeply connected to the hard labor history. This museum is definitely a must, if you visit Liège and if understanding history maters to you.

Entertaining, but I found most of the exhibits not very related to Waloonia ☺️. The presentation is very beautiful! Interesting posters!

Fabulous. I spent three hours there. BUT…… so much is explained in French. If you are a French person, you already know what life is like in your region, this is your opportunity to tell everyone else about your culture.

Le Forum in Liege is a magnificent cultural center located in the heart of the city. It hosts a diverse range of events including theater, concerts, operas, and ballet. The large hall boasts excellent acoustics and creates a lively atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. This nearly 100-year-old theater is not only historically beautiful but also serves as an exceptional concert venue. Despite its narrow space for taller individuals, it offers a magical setting with top-notch acoustics for enjoying performances.
Concert Salvatore Adamo , great setting. Friendly staff, decor is absolutly wonderfull
Nicole V — Google review
Nice and beautiful building. We went to Le Forum to enjoy Lord of the Rings Music, turns out it’s actually some sort of fraudulent company that is being sued by Howard Shore himself? That also explains why the musical pieces were so short (copyright laws). The amount of false notes and the embarrassing AI illustrations used on the projector made us laugh a lot so the money wasn’t entirely lost. Weirdly most of the public seemed to enjoy it… Conclusion: the Forum should be careful in its selection of artists. This was absolutely embarrassing :-/

beautiful venue! the sound was decent, have heard better but also worse. Only negative point is that the view from the gallery is kind of obstructed, due to that i couldn’t see 30% of the stage. The leg room was also very minimal, luckily I’m not that tall but if you’re taller than 185cm u might have some troubles.

La Maison Du Peket, located at 4 rue de l'Epee, is a popular destination for tourists visiting Liege. The extensive drink menu offers a wide variety of options, including the local specialty peket, a type of genever gin. Whether you prefer flambes, fruity flavors, or floral notes, there's something to suit every taste. It's a must-visit spot for those looking to experience the vibrant drinking culture of the region.
I originally came here 24 years ago and it was the first place I thought to show my husband on my return to Liege. This regional drink is completely unfamiliar to people in the US and trying peket is a great local experience for visitors. The ambiance here is historic and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend 🫶

After a fun afternoon at IKEA, we decided to head downtown for some steak. However, Google Maps decided to go crazy, and we ended up wandering aimlessly through the city. Thankfully, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. The interior was beautiful, creating such a cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection—exactly medium as requested—and the salmon was incredibly flavorful. The homemade fries with mayonnaise were a nice touch, and the beer selection was spot on, especially for Belgium. We enjoyed a late-night dinner around 9:30pm, and it made for a truly memorable evening. Highly recommend!
Iris R — Google review
The food was really delicious especially the fries and the vol au cent maison. The place is worth the money since the portions are large. The shot where it gets lit on fire was truly a unique experience. Overall, I would go again.
Travis T — Google review
I highly recommend this restaurant; it deserves more than five stars for both its exceptional staff and delicious food. We ordered four main courses: spare ribs, beef steak with mushroom sauce, Liège meatballs, and rabbit fillet—all of which were incredibly flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared. The portion sizes were ample for one person. We also enjoyed the "chamin du peket" and beer we ordered as drinks. In addition to the fantastic food, the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. They generously assisted us with our child's meal, making our experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
Mona S — Google review
Very beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. Great options for traditional Belgian food, but you must try the peket as a digestif. The violet flambé was great, sweet and floral with a strong warming finishing. I highly recommend the jambonneau as well.
Thang T — Google review
We have tried the Parmesan croquettes, pumpkin soup and the Liege meatballs. Everything was so tasty and nice. Only thing is just 2 pieces croquettes are 13,50 euros. We wished more pieces or big portions for that price. Because meatballs cost 17,50 euros( quite big portions) Except that it was a nice experience.

Great example of belgian cuisine. We had dinner twice in a row on the 28th and 30th Jan 2023. Each time it was really excellent. Original dishes which will fill you well up. The atmosphere inside is also really unique and medieval. And.. you really must try their Peket liquor, which is really special and unique.
Pierre-Philippe R — Google review
Ordered two times the boulets a la liegoise. Really good! Also the fries and salad were good and the homemade mayonnaise excellent. On top of that local beer, a nice table in the sun outside and good service, simply nothing to complain about.

I really love the theme of this bar. Looks like you are meeting Tarzan at any moment. They have a great concept where some cocktail came with a little gift. Which is funny. The place is clean and the staff was nice enough to lend me his charger. I will go there again to try out other cocktails.

This bar used to be amazing 16 years back.. Nothing has changed, just the quality of the cocktails isn't as good anymore and of course the price went up strongly.
J. Z — Google review
Cocktails are barely average quality for the price... We experienced long waiting time, there is no card payment allowed, and worst of all, no commercial mindset: we went with someone celebrating his birthday and were told that we would get a surprise after the second drink. After ordering the second drink, the waiter told us that the management refused to make any commercial gesture in the end. We could have a hat and a flower necklace which we had to give back before leaving... Really disappointed! I won't recommend it, neither go anymore!
Johan C — Google review
Very nice cocktails but it is impossible to pay by card when you’re a foreigner unless you have cash. They didn’t put a warning for this so it was a very unpleasant surprise.
Amber V — Google review
Inside it is nothing like you'd expect from outside. It's filled with fake jungle and little nooks that give the place a somewhat bizarre but cozy atmosphere. Good for small groups but not large ones due to the setup. Good prices and pretty big cocktails that certainly weren't short on alcohol.

absolutely fabulous little gay bar in liege! we ordered two rounds of rose wine which was truly delicious. perfectly chilled, soft balanced fruity flavours. they also bring out a small bowl of chips to the table and refill it when you order another round of drinks. this is such a small gesture but it really elevates your drinking experience at the bar. we sat outside and found the atmosphere to be very cozy and comfortable. the bartenders were kind and helpful, although they were quite chatty with some which i assume are their regular guests, and we had to wait for the waiter to finish his conversation with his besties to serve us. but we did not mind since the good energy there made up for the more laid back approach. we will definitely be coming back to experience the establishment in the hours of the night where it transforms into a fierce and fun night club!! x

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Liège, Le Notger is a must-visit destination for those seeking an unforgettable night out. This stylish establishment, housed in an 18th-century building adorned with industrial charm and eclectic decor, seamlessly blends dining and nightlife. The ground floor offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for socializing, while the second floor boasts an impressive selection of spirits that will delight cocktail enthusiasts.

(Translated by Google) The bouncers are completely crazy. I was filming girls who were dancing and who wanted to be filmed (because yes the DJ had booked me at 1:00 a.m. to film), they grabbed me violently by both arms and I was thrown outside. I don't think it's necessary to do this in pairs, for a girl of 1m65 and 51 kilos. This place claims to be a chic place, but alongside the real chic places of Paris, it is just a vulgar bar located in the square, with bouncers with oversized egos and certainly a big inferiority complex. I found myself outside in a t-shirt at 1:30 a.m., with no way of getting my jacket back. So I went home and had to come back with the police to get her, she had suddenly reappeared. What a pleasure to travel at such an hour on a Saturday evening to have such an experience. First and last time. And I want to make it clear that I am filing a complaint.

(Translated by Google) Certainly the classiest place in the square, with a very pleasant terrace overlooking the entrance and a really successful decor. The average age of the customers is higher than that of the other places in the square, which is not worse (25 to 45 years old) 😆 The prices are necessarily higher than in the majority of other establishments in the area, certainly a way of sorting things out when entering the establishment. The only drawback is customers who sometimes give themselves much more importance than they really have and yes, each type of customer has its problems 😂 (Original) Certainement l'endroit le plus classe du carré, avec une terrasse très agréable qui surplombe l'entrée et une déco vraiment réussie.

(Translated by Google) Magnificent place, but the ordering system is prohibitive. We waited 20 minutes before a server came to explain that they don't accept cash or cards. You have to go on their app to order, enter all your bank details, and then place your order. In the time he spent explaining, he could have taken the order several times. Several people left the place. Very limited selection of beers (???). Strange, they're known for this; the inert servers were waiting in a corner. What minimal exploitation given the majesty of the place. I understand that we're talking about a bankruptcy problem. Why make it simple? Is this system legal? Anyway, we'd already been there, the menu was more complex, and it was possible to pay by debit card. You're driving away tourists and customers, it's sad. There were six of us and we went elsewhere to have our drinks. We wanted to show the place to friends because the view is so magnificent. It's the only thing they saw.

(Translated by Google) You have to scan a QR code on the table and follow several links on the website (select the bar and specify the table number, apparently) to order a drink. The drink arrived in 10 minutes (too long for just an uncapped bottle). When I asked for a drink, the waitress looked at me like I was an alien. However, the website doesn't forget to offer the option to add a tip... If I scan the QR code on the table, which has its number engraved on it, I shouldn't have to select the table number and location... The website only allows you to order drinks; snacks must be ordered through another method, apparently not through the website. The system needs to be completely overhauled; it's far too annoying to use and adds absolutely nothing positive to the bar.
