I hate when restaurants are so stingy with condiments. The wings were on the dryer side but full of flavor in the skin. The waiters could not speak English (but they were not Italian).

Unfortunately didn’t have a great meal here. The service was slow, even though the place was less than a quarter full. I’m not sure if they were short staffed or had a lot of takeaway orders?! We did see a couple leave because they had been waiting too long for their drinks. I had the shiitake burger which was ok, but could have done with some sauce in as it was a little on the dry side. The fries and onion rings were overfried. Would recommend the Ellis lemonade, that was very nice. Would not go back though, as I would expect a lot better for the price.

Unfortunately I have had better burgers at other Ellis locations and in general, their burgers are fine, but not Earth chattering. Still, Ellis is a good choice if you crave a burger that is better than your average fast-food joint. Prices are quite elevated though. Do try their homemade sauces, these are excellent.
