Such a lovely elegant place to have some real fine food. The service is friendly and attentive. Our young South African server knows the menu and confidently suggested various veg options. Very nice. The food is well presented and tasty. Our veg paella was on the mark. The Tomato soup was good but could have been a little less tart making it even better! All in all a great spot to have pleasant meal in lovely setting.

"We love Spanish food so much, but we don't find many Spanish restaurant reviews in Doha.
Last Friday night, we got invited to The Cellar, a Spanish restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Oryx Hotel. They had a Spanish Fiesta promotion: a 5-course set menu, including one enhanced beverage, for only 149 QR.
When we arrived, they served us Sangria as a welcome drink. There was a choice of red, rosé, and white Sangria. I will summarize each dish shortly:
1st Tapas: Traditional Galician-style Octopus - Potatoes salad with paprika, olive oil, and quail eggs.
The fresh octopus was well cooked ,soft and a great match with the creamy potatoes salad.
2nd: Truffle and Mushroom Croquettes with béchamel sauce.
Crispy outside, creamy inside croquttes —they melted in our mouths. The béchamel was very good; however, I expected a little more aroma of the truffle.
3rd: Slow-cooked Beef Cheek with potatoes purée.
Melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek was a hit and went well with the potatoes purée.
4th: Seared Scallops with smooth velouté sauce and crispy cured beef.
The freshly cooked scallops were cooked perfectly in the creamy sauce.
5th: Churros with chocolate dip.
The crispy churros with cinnamon sugar were great on their own; however, for me, it was too sweet when I dipped it in the chocolate dip (I am not a sweet person).
Overall, the food was very good, freshly made. We were so full and impressed with their food quality, freshness, quantity, as well as the service and the ambience, which was fantastic. We will definitely go back soon."
Started off strong with complimentary bread dip and roasted garlic, setting a pleasant tone. The grilled eel starter was amazing, and the beef cheek main course was delicious. With an outstanding guest chef's menu, an in-depth wine selection featuring a delightful Miguel Torres, and excellent service, the experience was truly amazing.

Turkey Central restaurant is a no frills attached eating joint. It has decent ambience and the staff is very friendly and polite. It's the food that matters and this place makes it worth every penny.

One of the famous and most busiest Turkish restaurant in Qatar. For its fame and delicious mouth watering food you will have full satisfaction. Though this restaurant has huge seating capacity, still It is very difficult to find a table to seat for crowd. Even if it is very busy and crowdy, still you don't need to wait for that long to get your freshly cooked order. Food they serve is mindblowing. Service is really good. It was my first time. We’ve been to Turkey Central Restaurant so many times—dine-in and even through Talabat—and it never disappoints! The meat, whether it’s chicken, beef, or lamb, always comes out hot, juicy, and fresh. And don’t even get me started on the freshly baked Arabic-Turkish bread... seriously addictive!
Appetisers are made fresh and great for sharing. I’m no Turkish food expert, but this place always impresses.

The chili salad and hummus served with the appetizer were really good. We ordered the mixed grill plate — the chicken was soft and tender, but the beef wasn’t as tender as expected. The lamb had a slight odor, though I really enjoyed the chicken kebab and tikka boti. I also tried a small shawarma, which was quite good. The service was quick as well.

Ric's Kountry Kitchen in Doha is a legendary American restaurant that offers a taste of home with dishes like biscuits and gravy, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, breakfast burritos, and tacos. Despite its name, it's located in downtown Doha but remains faithful to the image of quality diners beloved in the United States. The menu features a combination of Texan and Mexican food along with Ric's Specialties.
Highly, highly recommended!!! Ric's had been my first restaurant to visit since arriving to Qatar almost 2 decades ago, after a long line of management and location changes, I can confidently say the service and food has never been better.
I had been disappointed due to changes a long time ago (I'd like to say 4+ years ago?), but since then I can truly see they received and acted upon feedback wholeheartedly.
You won't find a place with this ratio of quality, portion and price. They are very generous and unfortunately my eyes were bigger than my stomach.
Staff were incredibly welcoming, personable and patient, and coffee was a 10 as well.
If I could change anything, it would be to ask for the Huevos Rancheros back! I'd like to see their new version of it.

The food was good, but not great. I ordered the Rigs which come with egg, turkey sausage, and French toast. (Turkey sausage is too tough, and the French toast is too soggy). Biscuits and gravy are okay, but the bread is hard and not like the original American biscuit.

I'd heard quite a bit about Ric's, and was really craving biscuits and gravy, so I ordered up a late Friday breakfast today: biscuits, white gravy, sausage and home fries.
The food was okay. Definitely edible and arrived in pretty good condition for delivery. But, I'm an American cook. A good American cook. And there's some things that Ric's could be doing so much better...
Sausage patties were the consistency of a burger patty and overcooked. If you are going to do a beef sausage, the ground needs to be finer. The sage came through, which is the only reason it could pass as sausage-like.
Biscuits were crumbly and dry. They lacked any kind of tenderness and were overbaked at the bottom. The gravy saved them... kind of...
The home fries had zero seasoning. The onion was nice but too sweet. Decent consistency though.
The gravy was nice, but needed both salt and, more importantly, black pepper.
I heard a lot about this place, so I was really excited to try it for breakfast.
When I got there, I was a bit disappointed.. the place felt empty and not alive, only one table was taken. I sat down and ordered the American breakfast.
The food came warm, not hot. The eggs were overcooked and dry. The beef wasn’t juicy and was hard to cut, with too much fat. The potato was okay. The biscuit with gravy was nice but nothing special.
The coffee also tastes cheap.
Overall, the place looks like a classic American diner, but the food didn’t impress me. There are better options in Doha for this kind of breakfast.

We went to the Tornado Tower branch. We had combo nachos/burritos, waffles, French toast, omellete with cups of Americano (refillable). The beef sausage was dry. The food was filling but unfortunately, tasteless and dry.... needs improvement. I didn't really enjoy the meal.
The ambience was very good for nice conversation.
Service by the male waiter (he was alone most of the whole morning) was efficient but long. He did great even if he was alone.
The old menu and food at the former branch was better and more hearty.

We tried the burgers at Ric’s and were pleased with the quality of the burger which was reasonably priced. The burgers come with fries and a dip.

The Brazilian restaurant Ipanema offers an all you can eat experience with pasta and salad as the main attractions, but their churrascaria is what really makes it stand out. They have several cuts of grilled Brazilian meat on skewers available for people to choose from, along with music playing in the background to make it feel like you're in Brazil.
This is definitely a winner compared to Rodizio at Crowne Plaza! Lots more varieties! I love the passion fruit carnivale and of course Picanha and the Grilled Pineapple! The service and the staff are very friendly as well this is my new fave restaurant in town now! Will definitely come back for more as at the time we dined the band is not playing.

I had a really good experience at this churrascaria! The variety of meats was fantastic — everything was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The salad bar was fresh and offered plenty of options to complement the meal.

When I visited again after two months, one of the staff members actually remembered me from my last visit with my friend, such a nice touch!
The restaurant is pretty spacious and divided into different areas, non-smoking, private rooms and a shisha lounge. One of the staff even gave me a little tour and explained everything.
There are also private cottage style seating areas outside by the beach.
The luxurious chandeliers really stood out and the furniture inside gives off a very elegant, high-end vibe.
The meat was tender with no smell and the bread was fresh and delicious.
They also have a Turkish coffee corner inside with dozens of types of coffee on display. If you’re into Turkish coffee, you’ll probably find a favorite here!

It’s my second time at this restaurant. My first was a blast, second was just underwhelming.
I came for the authentic Turkish flavors, but found food looking nice & tasting mid (dumplings + main dish). Our choices might’ve not been the best, I recommend asking for the bestselling dishes.

Our experience at Sukar Pasha Ottoman Lounge in Katara was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty — greeted with a refreshing complimentary lemonade and seated on the smoking side, which featured plush seating, large green TVs, and private rooms perfect for relaxing, watching football, and soaking up the opulent atmosphere.
Our server, Malek, was exceptional — attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. The complimentary spicy hummus with warm bread set the tone for an incredible meal, and every dish that followed was equally divine. The knafeh was the undeniable star — delicate, rich, and easily the best we’ve ever had — perfectly paired with premium tobacco served in a seashell bowl for an elevated Shisha experience.

This was one of the best meals I had when in Doha. I opted to sit on the rooftop Terrace which was such a vibe. While I was waiting downstairs, they brought me an appetizer on the house just to make my time comfortable. The food was out of this world and the service was the same. Next time I’m in Doha I’m definitely coming back and recommend this place to anybody visiting.

Got promo vouchers from QGrabs for a very affordable price, a three course meal for only 59 riyals. The food were great especially the chicken skewers and iskendar kebab along with their dessert on attahced photos. The service we received from Elsa and Bambie were top class, they were both very accommodating. And lastly, it has a very relaxed ambiance.
Visited for the Ramadan buffet. Excellent service experiance. Food was also very good. Not 5 star as the dessert did not have a warm option like famous Turkish rice pudding. Otherwise everything was great. Top level service.

I have been to usta another established Turkish restaurant in qatar but never noticed this.
Later when we were served by the main course i needed condiments tobasco but as she was checking her phone 📱 we had to wait nearly 5-10 mins to get her attention.
So the service was a really big let down. Compared to the food which was truly five stars.
We were so full could barely finish the mains and thus had to even skip on the anticipated dessert.
Food is kinda heavy here so make sure you come on a completely empty stomach.
All In all,
I prefer emirgan Sutis over usta.
And hope the service improves and maybe it was a one off situation.
But definitely recommended it to everyone.

I recently dined at Alishan Restaurant, located conveniently near Salwa Road, and I must say – it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the place felt welcoming and well put together. The ambience is elegant yet comfortable, with a soothing decor that blends modern touches with traditional Indian aesthetics. Perfect lighting, clean interiors, and neatly arranged seating make it ideal for family dinners, casual meetups, or even business lunches.
What really impressed me was the diverse and thoughtfully curated menu. Unlike many Indian restaurants that stick to one region, Alishan offers a wide range of choices — from flavourful South Indian dishes like dosas, idlis, and vadas, to rich and aromatic North Indian curries, kebabs, biryanis, and freshly made breads. Each dish was well-presented and packed with authentic spices and flavours that didn’t feel overpowering. You can tell that they use quality ingredients and maintain consistency in taste.
Special mention for the hygiene standards – everything from the tables to the washrooms was spotless. The kitchen area (which you can get a glimpse of) also appeared clean and organized, which gives you confidence in the food being served.

The value for money is excellent – I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The chicken was fresh with no unpleasant smell, the rice was flavourful, and everything tasted great. The portion is generous enough for two people.

Visited Afghan Brothers Al Mandi Restaurant, Al Nasr for lunch with three of my friends. It was my first visit, and they truly met my expectations. We ordered Bukhari Goat Meat and Bukhari Grilled Chicken- both were really good, but the goat meat was my favorite. It was perfectly cooked, super fresh, and beautifully balanced in flavor. The service was quick, and the ambience was warm and inviting. A great place to dine with family and friends!
We had the majboos rice with bbq fish fillet and bbq chicken with mandi rice along with Harees. Only the harees and soup was enjoyed by everyone, no one enjoyed the rice, it was very bland and had very little flavour.
For the price, the taste is not at all up to the standard. Wouldn't recommend this as a good place for eating rice.

ROACH KEBAB!!! Went to this restaurant after reading a few good reviews. Never again! We asked to be seated upstairs but within few minutes moved down after seeing what looked like a cockroach. Moved downstairs and ordered food. In the middle of our meal out popped a cockroach on our table running around our food. We got up and called the staff over who apologised and told us the whole souq has this problem and we aren’t the first to complain...reassuring NOT! The manager asked if they should make more food for us to eat, we refused as no doubt they are infested, he asked if we would take a take away as we hadn’t eaten our food and we refused. But we were still handed the full bill to pay, which we did. NEVER AGAIN. Despite the roach, the restaurant as a whole needs to take a good look within, decor dated, seating and table old and dirty, you can tell they have a cleaning problem.

Ordered 2 meter kebabs, 2 Sultan Sofrasi Platter. Each set comes with 3 cold and 4 hot appetizers, 4 drinks and 2 dessert plates. Such a huge quantity which is enough for more than 20 people. Amazing food, very tasty and great service. Had complimentary tea after our food.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was a big dissapointment! All kinds of the ordered meats were tasteless & quite dry as most of them were overcooked. Especially the lamb chops, combining with the knives that shouting for "sharpening!!" as they didn't cut at all, made it an ordeal! Moving on to the desserts, for those who knows the Turkish delights these are far from the original ones! E.g. Kazandibi! Pleasant exception, the polite and helpfull personell!. Money for value? Non existent.
This kebab meal was an absolute standout — perfectly grilled, deeply seasoned, and served with all the right accompaniments. The meat was tender and juicy, with a beautifully charred exterior that gave it a smoky, mouthwatering flavor. Each bite delivered that ideal balance of spice, herbs, and natural meatiness.

We ordered the Sultan Sofrası and the famous Meter Kebab, and honestly, words fall short! The kebabs were juicy, perfectly grilled, and packed with flavor. The variety of appetizers was a delight, each one more delicious than the last. And the desserts—just wow. Everything was served fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Turkish taste.

During my recent visit to MADO Qatar, I was delighted by the authentic Turkish experience it offers. Great desserts, from the baklava to the ice cream to the milk desserts, everything was incredibly delicious. The tea was also just perfect, Turkish style. The ambience with the white and the many golden accents was also really well done and created a great atmosphere. Really MADO-like. The breakfast was also delicious. The variety of dishes was impressive — even if a bit pricey — from fresh cheeses, honey, olives, and simit to eggs, sujuk, menemen, and so many delicious spreads. Everything tasted authentic and well-prepared.
Portions were good and the presentation was beautiful. The bread was warm and fresh, and the tea was lovely — just like in Turkey! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, even though it was a bit busy.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real Turkish breakfast with plenty of choices. Definitely coming back!

I had a very disappointing experience at MADO Restaurant Despite it being Ramadan, they didn’t serve water, which is the most basic courtesy for fasting guests. Good hospitality means accommodating all customers, especially during important occasions. This lack of consideration made the experience unpleasant, and I won’t be returning. Was an excellent experience overall. We started of trying the Pistachio and Walnut baklavas, they were flavorful and moist. Enjoyed them. The tres leches cake, had a great texture to it, capped off nicely by the layer of caramel on top. We rounded off the meal, by ordering a cafe latte and cappuccino, which was served in an unique manner with a piece of chocolate and water. The coffee was good.
A special mention to the staff at Mado, who were brilliant with their service. The wonderful attitude of the staff and the food, make it a place you want to go back to again at the earliest chance.

They sell heavy cream as hand made cream (kaymak) with a highly sugary low quality honey. It took a while to have plate after they bring order pieces. Service is low quality, and the tables are not clean. Avoid if you want decent food with good service.
Mado’s desserts are excellent, but when it comes to lunch dishes, they don't quite meet the same quality. I tried the grilled chicken yesterday, and unfortunately, some pieces were not cooked well.

I’m disappointed with the person who prepared the chicken shawarma. The menu says “Big Chicken Shawarma,” but the stuffing inside was very little. He didn’t add tomato paste, didn’t heat the bread, and I just bought this 10 minutes ago. I had to heat it in the microwave myself. I always eat at this restaurant because they usually prepare good food. Please ensure your staff maintains the same food standards for all customers, regardless of nationality. They don’t even give the receipt just 39 QR change.

We went to try their weekend wakeup bites promo. To our dismay, it was a disaster. Unlike on regular days, nobody assisted customers. It took at least 20 minutes for the table to be cleaned. Worse, the food came more than 30 minutes after ordering. Our food was served only after food was provided to the other customers who came later than us. Also noticeable was that the lumpia served seems old (reheated). When we asked politely the supervisor on duty, she apologized for the delay in service due to lack of staff, which should have been pre arranged already considering they advertised a promo and its a weekend. A kitchen staff was the one serving food, the cashier was the one taking the order and the supervisor was cleaning the table. They should have expected the outpour of customers. The poor service and food quality during promo times should be looked into by management. Regardless, we hope the restaurant do better the next time they launch a promo.

Today was my first time dining at the restaurant, and I was blown away by the massive menu selection! Every dish we tried was flavorful and delicious. Even my husband, who isn’t usually a fan of Asian food, loved it!
The service was warm and fast, and the staff were friendly and polite.
My only suggestion would be to clean the glass windows—they’re very dusty, which affects the restaurant’s ambiance and overall cleanliness. It also doesn’t look very appealing from the outside.

We had a delightful dining experience at Khaosan Thai Restaurant in Bin Mahmood. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and true to Thai cuisine. They serve crispy chips with sauce as a compliment to all customers.
🍗 Honey & Garlic Crispy Chicken and Red Curry Crispy Chicken were a burst of flavor—crispy deep-fried chicken coated in sweet, tangy, and spicy sauces. Very tasty and addictive.
🍛 Massaman Curry Chicken came with tender chicken pieces and vegetables like potatoes and carrots. The rich curry had a creamy peanut flavor, topped with fried onions that added a delicious crunch.
🥥 Green Curry Chicken was coconut milk-based, fragrant, and well-balanced. It had pieces of chicken and fresh herbs that brought out a classic Thai taste.

The Barbecue was the best among the ones we ordered. Ambience is ok for a Turkish fast food joint. The Mayonnaise was sour which was the only let down, hence the 4 stars. The service was great and we would visit them again.

We went to The Village Restaurant Qatar for breakfast. The Village Restaurant is at Midmac Salwa road Doha Qatar. The Village has three branches we went to Slawa road branch and enjoyed the breakfast. We have ordered Beirut Breakfast Tray and American breakfast. Food was good ambiance also nice, we would recommend The Village for breakfast.
The food was great we ordered Basmati rice chicken and also Lamb kofte. The kofte tasted great! The Basmati rice needed more salt and spices but overall it was a good delicious meal!
The place has completely changed. Based on my last experience, the food isn’t what it used to be. The rice used to be fragrant moist and smelled of saffron, it’s not like that anymore. Unfortunately this used to be the best Persian/ Indian in town.

Recently visited this restaurant located inside Abu Hamour Petrol Station. One of their famous specialties is the charcoal-grilled shawarma, which was exceptionally good. We also tried their lamb chops, chicken wings, and BBQ, all of which were equally tasty and well-prepared. While the mixed appetizers were okay, the place tends to get crowded almost every day. A separate family room is available, and parking is also available both inside and outside the petrol station. The service was okay.

Had ordered three Zaatar pie and this is how received them stacked together. Even small cafeterias are aware how to pack a pie.

The food was too bad the smell of the chicken was too bad I eat only one piece the second one I couldn’t eat it .. bad experience.
To remain unbiased, on the good side, the cookies and brownies available on their menu are very decent for their prices. There’s labneh fatayer was fresh and not bad at all, however the shawarma is very much quantity over quality, and for the price, the shawarma is not good. There’s so many parts to it, that are small details which make big differences, in my experience the bread was extremely hard and not fresh, the meat was very chewy at points, and I asked for green chilis, and they ended up adding whole pieces of green chilies to my shawarma, which were also inconsistently and randomly placed. The egg pie was not edible as it was not fresh at all and its crust had become extremely rubber-like. It is rare for me to leave a bad detailed review, however I am highly disappointed by Chtoura Restaurant.

The chilli-mayonnaise sauce and the cabbage with the meat in the soft kind of bread.
They have an upstairs dining area where you can relax and chat, and I also found an attentive Filipino waitress in the kitchen.
By the way, do you know the difference between 'chilli-mayonnaise sauce' and 'chilli mayonnaise sauce'?
Customer service is very bad especially when you place order by phone. They are promoting free delivery but usually taking eternal time to arrive and sometimes will not show up.

We sat outside in the courtyard. Service was slow, and a lot of smoke from hookahs. Food was very good though. We had to leave eventually as they turned the sound up way too loud for the television.
The food is amazing and very delicious. The service is very poor and not organise. There are no enough staff and waitress available to take the orders. If you don't like smoking I don't advice you to there.

We got a sea shell in one of their chicken shawarma. Unfortunately my 62 year old mom wounded one of her upper tooth and she had to undergo root canal/ extraction of tooth as it was damaged. It was one of hers worst experience.

It's a small shawarma store, but they cook it over the coal. One of the best shawarma I eat, not so much of anything inside but just the meat itself is so tender and flavorful matches with a very soft tasty flat bread with a bit of crunch when you bite. In every bite juice ooze out and the taste just explode in your mouth while you eat. I travel from Doha to wakra just to have a taste of this shawarma.
Exceptional Taste, Turkish Cuisine become become my Favorite. They serve wide range of turkish & arabic dishes.

I visited once before long time ago and it was ok for me.
Visited today, order mix grill, mix shawarma plate and hummus.
Hummus was tasteless so was the shawarma. Both beef and chicken lacks flavor.
I was totally disappointed until the mix grill arrived...
Meat kofta was OK, kebab was good so was the chicken kofta but shish tawook was average.
Total deal was just ok for me but the air conditioning was bad. I was in a hurry to leave this place.
I don't think I will go there again.

This is a famous istanbul restuarant in doha. If you are looking for a good shawarma this is the place for you. I have tried many of their dishes, but i would say the chicken shawarma is the best.
The small one cost 8QAR and the big one costs 11QAR.
I would everyone to go for the big one. Because the big is one is a big shawarma a perfect meal and worth every bite. They have soft drinks available also.
They have cash only so take cash with you. If you have a card there is a ATM nearby it so you can take from it also.
The seating and atmosphere is not so great
But they have a seating around 25.
Am also attaching the menu for reference.
Also take in mind that there is no much parking available in front of it mostly full.
If you are coming by metro take the capital police exit.
There shawarma will be ready by 12:30pm and mostly finishes by 10pm.
They have beef also but i will chicken is the best.

I visited here for the 1st time. And had a half grilled chicken with the complementary bread and green salad for Qr15.
Pricewise it is reasonable but the there is no garlic paste along with it. If we want it we have to pay extra Qr 2 for it.
Tastewise the grilled chicken is not at all good to be honest 😕.and the paid so called garlic paste is utter poor. Because it is fully overpower with kind of mayonnaise and there is not even a single garlic flavor.
There is only one type of grilled chicken, there is no spicy varieties.
First time I ever see that they don't provide the garlic paste with the maincourse in a Turkey cousin restaurant.
So far one of the best restaurants i have tried, very tasty arabic appetizers and barbecue. The fatayers also delicious, zaatar is my most favorite one here. The flat bread given to support the appetizer is very soft and tasty. Have tried shawarma too which was pretty good. Prices are reasonable, A must try place atleast once .

Very nice restaurant I had BBQ plater it was delicious quite pocket friendly every Friday it close by 12 at night because of deep cleaning so i will suggest go early so that you don't have to rush with your food you can park your car.

It’s a restaurant worth trying! And also the waiters seems like they don't actually see you when you come in. No one even wanted to set a table for us that was another bad side of them.

I came here to experience myself after reading all the mixed reviews at goggle map. The restaurant was decent. Looks new but seems untidy. The food quality was good and tasty. And its not too pricy and reasonable. Needs to come again to try the fish menu. However, the downside is the horrible parking . No space and too much traffic.

I was planning to try one of their menu but unfortunately they only serve it for lunch. So I kinda missed that opportunity. So I tried another menu. Seabass bbq is good. Their paratha is nice, soft and tasty. Love the beef curry cover with paratha and wrap with banana leaf. Juices are ok. The atmosphere is fine. Service is good. They take time to serve your food because they prepare it hot and straight from the stove. The upstairs area doesn't have good ventilation or exhaust fan cz when they cook or grill or barbeque, smoke enters the room. My suggestion is,If you don't try, you never know.

2- Plating and chutneys are super yum.

4- Ambience upstairs is worth watching. Positive vibes and lamps. What else you can look for?
5- Yum Yum Yummy grilled fish. Little sides of fries and salad. Till date best grilled fish we had. Next time we are going to try prawns there for sure.
