Food not so great. We had a few rolls (cooked), crab salad, and blackened shrimp. The food is okay, just nowhere near the price. If it was a fraction of the price, I might consider going again if I have to. But there’s little to make to come back. Otherwise, it has a very nice ambiance, live DJ (which I don’t care for), and staff were very friendly.

I visited Spice Market, food was absolutely good, the chicken gyoza was soft anf very tasty, the california roll was very tasty above average. Especially the matcha cheesecake was really good, the waiters were very accommodating and attentive and kind. The place was so relaxing and chill

Spice Market (not to be confused with Market, also located at the W) allegedly serves the best sushi in Doha. I ordered the shrimp tempura and spicy salmon rolls, and the wagyu cheeks. The spicy salmon roll was excellent, the shrimp tempura roll very good, and the wagyu cheeks were beautifully tender, although they failed to tickle my tastebuds. The staff were very friendly and the ambience great. Highly recommended.

One of the few gems of Indian cuisine, the restaurant serves excellent food with a superb ambience. Though a bit expensive, it is a good option to try for a fine dining experience. Kudos to the chef for preparing the tasty and delicious food. The staff was very cooperative, suggesting their populars which made things easy. Definately a must go if you are an Indian food lover.

From the moment my wife and I stepped into Jwala at The Pearl, Doha, we knew this was going to be something special. The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was bursting with authentic flavors that truly transported us back to India. The service was equally outstanding; warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The décor of the restaurant was stunning and heartfelt – it instantly reminded us of home and made us feel like we were back in India. The entire experience was so moving that it made us both emotional, something we have never felt so deeply at any restaurant before. I’ve had the privilege of dining in countless restaurants across the world and experiencing hundreds, if not thousands, of restaurants. But never have I found a place that so perfectly captures the feeling of being in India itself. Jwala, through its food, service, and atmosphere, gave us that gift – and for that, I am truly grateful. A special shoutout to Anuj and Aanchad, along with the rest of the staff (whose names I sadly can’t recall) – you all went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable. Found out about this place through social media and this exceeded my expectations - greeting warmly by Sagar, what a fantastic host - great energy and excellent care for my individual needs - especially as I suffer from a nut allergy, he made sure that I could eat comfortably and confidently. Moving onto the food, great flavours and authentic close to home flavours, I would highly recommend the lasagne chaat and the chicken wings starter - if my stay in Doha wasn’t short lived I would visit multiple times, but I’m sure I will come again and recommend to everyone - again, Sagar deserves a pay rise and a promotion! 💪🏽

Layali Al Qahira is an Egyptian restaurant in the heart of Souq Waqif, which offers very tasty dishes. The staff are very welcoming and show great attitude towards their work. I ordered mushroom cream soup and lamb shank. Both were tasty and flavourful. The only thing that could improve is the service in terms of proper cutlery. Only a soup spoon was served, and I had to have my main dish with the same small spoon. Other than that, the place met all the expectations and is recommended.

I ordered the Mulukia Chicken, and it was delicious. The Mulukia itself was tasty and full of flavor, though I felt it was a little too salty; if it were just slightly less salty, it would have been perfect. The service was nice and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also loved the ambience of the restaurant – warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Overall, I had a great experience and would consider coming back.

We were actually planning to go to a different restaurant, but after finding out we needed a booking for a table, we had to turn back. That’s when we came across this spot by chance. At first, I wasn’t too sure—we walked in and the atmosphere was a bit gloomy, which I’ll be honest, I didn’t really like. But the food made up for it! It’s an Egyptian restaurant, which I had never tried before, and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were rich and unique. I had the falafel sandwich and also tried the chicken sandwich—both were really flavourful and moist. You could tell everything was made fresh. Overall, it turned out to be a good experience. Despite the ambiance not being my favourite, the food definitely won me over. I’d recommend it if you’re looking to try something different and tasty!

Went to this Egyptian restaurant on our last night in Doha. Ordered chicken+potato+tomato cooked in a clay pot along with a vegetable dish. Both the dishes came with rice and flat breads. The quantity served was more than sufficient and the taste was really good. Considering the quantity served, the prices were good. The Egyptian tea served was refreshing too. The service was a bit slow. Maybe because it was the weekend and the restaurant was almost full. The staff were helpful too. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant.

As a big fan of Egyptian food, I was keen to try this and it didn’t disappoint. I went as a solo traveller at dinner (but soon joined by a feline companion!) and they really looked after me. Gave recommendations on how much to order for one person, what to get alongside the dish I knew I absolutely wanted (Koshari) and the food was great although bigger than the waiter had indicated! Would absolutely recommend.

Both me and my friend went for dinner last night. The ambience was great and we got a table where you can see the view outside. The food we chose was the set menu (Spice Island Menu) which is more of Indonesian food if anyone would like to try, it’s a good portion for 2 persons. The taste was nice but still I have to say I preferred sushi more if to eat at this place again. The dessert was not so bad but could be better. Our waiter Mr. Isaac was so kind and friendly and kept checking on us to see how was our meal. He gives us recommendations on the beverages. I’ll definitely recommend this place. This weekend, we had the pleasure of visiting Jamavar restaurant, located at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Doha. The experience was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the beautiful ambiance and thoughtful seating arrangements that truly enhance your dining experience. Now, let's dive into the food. Overall, it was decent and quite tasty. The standout dish for me was the Tandoori Lamb Chop from the appetizers; it had an incredible flavor that I can't stop thinking about! The Aloo Tikki was also fantastic and perfectly complemented the Tulsi Chicken Tikka. When it came to the main course, I found the Butter Chicken to be somewhat underwhelming. However, the Kaju Methi Makhana Dish was very impressive, and the Black Dal was quite tasty as well. One minor drawback was that the Butter Naan could have been a bit softer. The Saffron Pulao was delightful, but the delay in serving it slightly diminished the overall enjoyment of the meal. For dessert, the Saffron Jalebi with Rabdi was undoubtedly delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. On the other hand, the Mango Ras-malai fell short for me, as the sponge was quite hard. Overall, our dinner experience was good. While the service was ok, there were some delays, particularly with the pulao, which took about 15 minutes to arrive. When you're waiting for a dish for so long, it can impact your appetite and enjoyment of the meal. In terms of ratings, I would give the welcome style and ambiance a solid 5 stars. The food overall deserves 4 stars, with the Lamb Chop earning a perfect 5 stars and the Old Delhi Butter Chicken dish receiving 3 stars. The table service, however, gets 3 stars due to the delays. Not only the best Indian restaurant but one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The service felt like we were royalty and everything we ordered from the menu was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was cozy and elegant. And for a Michelin starred restaurant the value was well worth it. The only issue really is we have to come back to try more of the menu!

Located within Sheraton Grand Doha, Jamavar has offered us a truly refined and memorable Indian dining experience. Here is a breakdown of what Jamavar Doha offers: 1 - Food - Amazing Dishes: The Nalli Nihari, Methi Mutter, Daal Makhani and Biryani were all really, really good. You should definitely try these! Average Dishes: The Bhindi, Jeera Aloo and Dahi Bhalle were just okay, nothing too special. Desserts: The Mango Rasmalai was tasty. However, the Rabdi Jalebi was too sweet for my liking. Drinks: They have some really nice and signature mocktails and cocktails. 2. Ambience: It is cozy, gentle and relaxed place to enjoy your meals. 3. Service: The hospitality is top-notch. Staff is attentive, helpful with a smile on their faces. But, considering its a fine dining Michelin-starred, here are a few things they could make even better: 1. Wait time - One has to wait a bit longer than you would expect for your dishes to arrive. 2. Music - While the décor is nice, sometimes the music doesn't really fit the fancy atmosphere. Maybe some softer, more traditional Indian music would make it feel even more special. 3. More vegetarian options - They have some great vegetarian dishes, but it would be nice to see a few more interesting and different options for people who don't eat meat.

Beautiful restuarant located within the Sheraton Hotel. We opted for the Regal Thali which was a Sunday special. Food was of a very high quality. Drinks prices very high but that is the case with Doha in general.

What a lovely experience at this hotel restaurant. I originally looked online at the menu and saw that Sunday was a thali night, when I arrived I wasn't given that menu until I asked. The complimentary poppadoms were delicious as I have ever tried before. The drinks arrived very quickly too. I ordered a duvel and was originally told they didn't have any, upon checking with the bar they delivered an ice cold refreshing duvel which was pleasant. Overall from food to service, everything was 5*. I wrote in the booking that it was our anniversary and didn't even have to remind them, I even forgot until they bought out a delicious cake. They also explained everything that was on the thali and I was able to substitute fish for paneer. Very accommodating and super delicious food. Would recommend to anyone visiting Doha who fancies Indian food.

This was a nice cosy place. Heeramandi sort of vibe😆, for those who know. Beautiful wall hangings. Apparently they have live music as well, which was sad, it would have tied the whole experience. Overall good food and service. We ordered the ginger prawns, mixed grilled plater for 1 (which mind you was perfect for 2) and for the main course we had the lamb curry with butter rotis which was quite a lot for 2 people. They served us the complimentary papa with mint, coconut and yogurt dips.

Beautiful decor. Great spot along Katara beach. The staff are welcoming and considerate to offer us specifics for our company. The food itself was okay. I was a little disappointed with the grill set. I guess I always expect a piping hot sizzle or charcoal feel but it was a little too clean and immaculate and the taste of the different meats were too close to one another which indicates perhaps the grill section is overlapping too intensely. The seekh kebab is typically something I look forward to but the texture was too compacted and rolled that suggests it was from frozen. The saffron rice was generous in portion and the lentil dal tarka was lovely. The venue atmosphere was empty but we came a bit too early. I guess they really ought to bring ambience with music to start getting the feeling going even if there were only a couple of tables.

Saffron Lounge is a beautiful Indian restaurant with a calm and elegant atmosphere. The place is clean and the decor is classy. I tried the biryani and it was really tasty, full of flavors and served with raita and curry on the side. The portion was big and the food felt fresh. The service was excellent, and I’d like to especially thank the staff, they were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect spot if you’re looking for good Indian food in a quiet and nice setting.

We really enjoyed our experience at Saffron. The food was delicious, service was great and friendly, and there were vegetarian options available for us to order. It’s also in a nice location near Katara cultural village with a view into the bay. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving Indian food.

The staff member KD was super attentive and always checked in on us. He explained each item on the menu clearly and when he found out my friend likes spicy food, he even brought extra spice sauce and chutney. His one-handed biryani serving skills were amazing! The food was pricey but came in large portions and tasted great. The cutlery setup was beautiful and they even pre warmed the plates, such thoughtful service. There’s also a gorgeous cafe lounge in the same place. We were lucky to visit during the Eid Festival in Katara and we got to watch fireworks from inside the restaurant while eating. it was the perfect vibe. The staff even turned off the lights so we could enjoy the fireworks better.

It’s been a little while since I visited Bombay Balti and I’m really pleased to be back. The last time I visited was during the Punjabi Food Festival which was extremely good value. Today, as always, food, drinks and service fantastic! The music is Indian and soft enough to be able to have a conversation with ease. The food arrives steaming hot which I really like and it takes a few minutes to cool down enough to be edible but that is good sign because it hasn’t been sat around for a long time unlike some other restaurants in Doha. I noticed there were some gluten free as well as vegetarian options on the menu although they don’t apply to me. Really great to be back. Draft Heineken also really good! Men wearing shorts no problem, also a big plus during the summer 40+ temperature outside. Apparently there will be a Street Food event in January, I’m looking forward to that. As always Bombay Balti never fails to amaze us. The food, staff and the ambience is top notch. That place has my heart and also my childhood as we’ve been there plenty of times back in the days. Radisson has a piece of my heart as well as my family’s. Today we tried variety of dishes: Chicken, Lamb, Prawns and it was all fabulous. The specialty about the Lamb here is that they cook it so well that it breaks apart so easily and it tastes so good, basically melts in your mouth and thats why its my favourite. I’ve always loved their food and they’ve been consistent with their style which I absolutely admire. The staff is very friendly and attentive and will tend to you immediately. If you any dietary restrictions or you have low tolerance to spice, let them know and they will alter your dish accordingly. They do offer liquor as well to adults. I would 100 percent recommend Bombay Balti to you and I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

The last I visited Bombay Balti was when it opened some 15 years ago. Since I returned to work in doha last year I have been yearning to dine there. Eventually when I finally did I was pleased to note that they were as good as I remember. The madras chicken is unique and mouth-watering spicy 🌶️. We also ordered shahi paneer which balanced the taste it being slightly sweet compared to the madras chicken. The staff was courteous and eager to please at all times. Overall a nice experience for our family to return to dine there.

We liked it. 🛑 Missing shower handles in the toilets is a big minus for an Indian restaurant. Hope the management will address it.

The taste of the food was so great and unexpected. Every plate we tried was great, nothing left unsatisfied. The service was very quick and the Lebanese waiter was very kind and professional. I’ll be coming back soon.

Probably the best Lebanese meal in Doha. The food was hot, tasty and innovative. It was presented very well, and the freshly baked bread kept on coming. The desserts were amazing and beautiful. The portions were healthy and in spite of that we finished it all. The service was friendly and their suggestions were spot on.

First time to have diner here, I am from Indonesia. I really love the food. Really good!! I’d want to thank the waiters for their sincere welcome and excellent service made all the difference. He understood the cuisine, made excellent suggestions. We all enjoyed your delicious food, especially the dessert Mhalabieh abajour (hope I am not wrong to write down the name). Nice place at reasonable price.

There are two entrances to the restaurant. I came around 3 pm and both seating areas were completely full. The staff were very attentive—always on the move and clearly busy but still super kind and quick to help. Since the manakish is baked in a traditional oven it was fresh and delicious. Unlike pizza, the dough is thin so you can eat a lot without feeling too full. The interior decor had a strong Lebanese vibe and the staff were even dressed in traditional Lebanese outfits. The check box for receipts was a little Lebanese-style hat which was a fun and playful touch. They have a wide variety on the menu which really makes you want to try lots of different dishes!

Best Lebanese restaurant in West Bay by far. The pita bread is baked fresh and everything is delicious and high quality.

Abajour for me is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Doha I usually visit the DFC branch and it's really a delicious food they have there This time I decided to go and try the westbay branch and as expected the food quality was good enough and it tastes good also my only issue that I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and I took a very very long time in preparing so at the end I asked them to cancel it...and actually the waiters behavior is much more friendly in DFC branch than westbay All in all this is a recommend restaurant and specially DFC branch

Fantastic seriously good food. The material used are top-notch. The bun, meat, condiments etc and also the egg making skill is al dante. Al's the hashbrown was one of the best I tried. Hardly any space to sit though which is a bummer. They need to move to a good spacious place. Oh and I totally forgot about the coffee.. it's great. Local fresh roasted beans.

Ordered crack sliders with a side costing 39 riyals. A total waste of money as the sliders were very small like one bite.

Ordered breakfast from the crack cafe we had thr box of six and a side of hashbrowns the packaging was amazing really good, but the hashbrowns were stone cold, and the sandwiches good idea but absolutely no flavor at all no seasoning whatsoever just so bland no taste at all, its a shame

This place is great! Super friendly staff and the food is awesome. Being from USA was unsure where to go and found this place on Google. It’s in an alley but don’t be scared, super clean and great food. Got the mushroom truffle omelette sandwich. Also the marketing is on point, don’t miss egg day ;)

We got the special and the turkey and they were both amazing! Ok update! We loved it so much yesterday we ordered again today for delivery! The packaging is so cute and the food was so good even after delivery!
