Our experience with La Parisienne was exceptional!! We ordered cakes and mini sandwiches for 2 days before our company event and they prepared our order very well handled, into details and on time. In addition to their outstanding service, the items we ordered i.e. cakes and sandwiches were very delicious, fresh, well packaged, food texture were made exceptional and authentically French. I would definitely order here again and recommend this coffee shop. ❤️

I visited Gourmet House and ordered cappuccino and it was below average, the milk overpowered the taste of the coffee, expensive for the average price. The waiters were not that attentive, i have to call them several times to take my orders and for the bill. The place was clean and well maintained.

3 stars is more than enough. I'm disappointed. Ordered a spinach muffin which looks like a spinach muffin for sure but did not taste a bit of spinach... some money lost here. I also ordered a chocolate brownie... how to say that? Should be retitled double sugar brownie. Seriously, it does not taste chocolate at all... thanks for the massive dose of added sugar in it, plus a poor quality topping. I think you've got it... I won't go there twice. -- In addition, you will find sandwiches, a large variety of breads, which seems interesting for those consumming bread. It is possible to take away to. -- The place looks nice, calm, on the side of the lobby.

The ambience is quite good, and the coffee was nice. However, the service was a bit average as there was no host present in the café.

It seems unbelievable that the Gourmet House used to have the best bakery in doha. Sadly now it’s a story of poor choice, slow service, terrible coffee and microwaved pastries. Why Alfardan/Kempinsky can’t do a better job of managing this and other Kempinsky outlets is beyond me. The W Cafe across the road is far better.

I visited Gourmet House and really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. I ordered an espresso, and it was rich and flavorful. The service was excellent, and the waitress Lovely was very kind and attentive.

Overall the experience wasn’t pleasing, the staff weren’t that welcoming, I noticed the attention and treatment differs from 1 table to the other which was quite bad as you need to treat all of your guests the same. There was a delay in service, only 2 staff members and they were rushing to cover all tables, for 1 cappuccino and 1 milkshake, we waited over 20 minutes, good thing we had a nice view to enjoy while waiting. The drinks were good, they made up for the delay. The cheesecake was disappointing, it lacked taste, it would’ve been better if it’s served with chocolate sauce. The view is very nice, the place is nice if you need a time for relaxation with the low lighting and the nice view.

A perfect sundowner spot 🌅 — the tea garden on the 21st floor of the elegant Torch building didn’t disappoint. Whether you’re into afternoon tea or just looking for a cozy sip and a bite, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend the refreshing hibiscus tea and the soothing lemongrass blend. The views were spectacular and our server Grace made the experience extra special 🌸.

The place was so nice and the food was great. Our table attendant Sarah was very attentive and so accommodating. She’s really good at what she does. If you’re chasing sunsets in Doha, there are a few spots that promise a view but Torch Tea Garden at Aspire Zone offers one of the most beautiful panoramas I’ve experienced in the city. Perched high up with a wide, open view of the skyline and Aspire Park below, the setting alone makes this place feel special. I recently went for a late afternoon visit, hoping for a relaxing high tea with friends, and while the atmosphere was lovely, the overall experience had a few misses. Let’s start with the good: the view is absolutely gorgeous Time it around golden hour and you’re in for a real treat. The terrace faces just the right angle to catch the sunset as it spills over the city, casting a warm, golden light across the entire tea garden. With the Aspire Tower glowing in the background and soft music playing, it’s easy to just sit back and lose track of time. The ambiance is calm, elegant, and undeniably picturesque. This spot is clearly designed for lingering and Instagram. The interior is also beautifully designed. It’s modern, chic, and minimal without feeling cold. But of course, most people (ourselves included) were out on the terrace for that view. We came specifically for the high tea experience which visually looked promising when it arrived served on a tiered stand with a selection of sweet and savory bites, and a pot of tea of your choice. But unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite match the presentation. The sandwiches were fresh but basic think cucumber, smoked salmon, egg mayo but they lacked any real flavor punch or creativity. A couple of them felt a bit dry, as though they’d been prepared too early. The pastries and mini desserts were decent, with the scones being the best part served warm with clotted cream and jam, they had that buttery, crumbly texture you'd expect. However, the rest of the sweets were more style than substance. They looked great on camera but didn’t stand out in flavor. The tea selection was decent, and the rose tea I ordered was fragrant and calming, but again, nothing particularly memorable. someone’s attention when we first arrived, and even longer to have our order taken. We had to follow up twice to get extra cutlery, and the tea took surprisingly long to arrive considering the place wasn’t overly busy. There’s a sense that the staff is trying to maintain a certain luxury standard, but the execution just didn’t quite meet the mark. A bit more attentiveness and smoother coordination would go a long way in elevating the overall experience especially at a venue with such a premium location and concept. That said, if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with a view, Torch Tea Garden delivers. It’s peaceful, the music is soft and elegant, and the crowd is generally quiet and well-mannered. It’s the kind of spot where you can bring out-of-town guests for the view alone, or enjoy a solo unwind moment with a book and a pot of tea. It’s also worth noting that the location inside The Torch makes it feel a bit like a hidden gem not something you’d stumble upon unless you knew it was there, which adds a touch of exclusivity. Would I come back? Yes but more for the view and the ambiance than the high tea itself. It’s the kind of place you visit when you want to slow down and take in the skyline, not necessarily when you’re craving a next-level culinary experience. If they can improve the food offerings and step up the service just a notch, Torch Tea Garden has all the potential to become one of the top high tea spots in Doha. For now, it’s a great place to catch the sunset, sip some tea, and enjoy the serenity but don’t go in expecting a flawless fine dining experience.

We had afternoon tea at the Tea Garden restaurant, located on the 21st floor, with my colleagues. The reservation process was smooth and straightforward; just one call, and they will reserve a spot for you with an excellent view. The place was spacious and beautifully decorated, perfect for enjoying the scenery, including the Villaggio Mall and Aspire Park. It is recommended to visit before sunset to capture stunning pictures of the setting sun. The food was delicious, and we used a My Book voucher for the main course, which you can try as well. The welcome drinks were also very good. I would like to thank Christina for her excellent customer service; she was very kind. Mark also appreciated their hospitality.

Amazing atmosphere! The food was also great with large portion given its price. It just took time for our order to arrive. Nevertheless, the servers were accommodating and even took into consideration any food allergy. However, the couch was not that comfortable and quite low and I felt quite uneasy while eating.

Comfortable seating in peaceful place, however it gets noisy afternoon but still OK. I had café latte which tasted weak. Four cheese crepe was good so was the choco nana. Service was a little slow but that wa fine. Good for quiet mornings and night hangout.

Nice and spacious cafe with lots of cozy corners and comfortable seating and no rush to get out. The 4 stars is for the ambience, location, parking ease, the books and suitability for larger groups to get together and spend time over coffee and select bakes. The fare is 3 stars since I found the options are just about okay including their menu.

Casual place if you want basic food and simple coffee without the extra shenanigans. Recommended if you want to read or study, especially before sunset since the place gets plenty of natural light.

Had a great breakfast today of portabello mushroom burger with sundried tomatoe bagels, fresh orange juice and rocky road slice... a winning breakfast. What a way to start the day. I will surely bring friends there. Cozy and comfy too.

The place has a cozy vibe with white-based interior that gives it a warm feeling. It’s also in a great location close to the souq wakif. The big windows make the space feel open and relaxing and you can see inside from outside too. We tried the orange peach tea for the first time and really enjoyed it! The staff were attentive and created a nice atmosphere.

The plain croissant and pain au chocolate are good. Staff is very thoughtful. It was near closing and she very kindly gave me fresh ones instead of the final piece or two that were displayed, presumably already for a while.

I ordered a few things from this place based on a colleague recommendation, but was hugely disappointed. Millefeuille layers were soggy not flaky or crispy and the eclair too limp! Not to mention that the creme patisserie was too eggy for everyone’s taste. On the other hand, the orange cake that should be moist was dry! The talabat delivery was impressive as everything came intact. I guess it is Opposites Day!

We want 1kg of customised macarons , the girls ( who works there ) had no idea about the price and they refused to call the owner to confirm the price ( they said he is sleeping and we can not disturb him ) . We found this very unprofessional , specially after almost 20 min of waiting .

First of all I would like to thank aymen for his wonderfull excellent service ever , he behaved like gentleman, we took cordent bleu and steak fillet minion with egg , the cordent bleu was really good but the steak fillet was really bad it has the taste of fish horrible the taste was so strong , however aymen really helped us and served us really good , after a while an Indian man came to talk to us ok its good but we didn't Feel that he came to listen . He just came to tell us that it's removed from the bill and left . After this we ordered dessert and camomile drink and tea was also full of water . U should let people who have good communication skills to talk to guests more

I recently visited Paul restaurant festival city mail and was quite disappointed with the overall experience, particularly regarding the portion sizes. While the ambiance was pleasant and the staff generally courteous, the food portions were surprisingly small—especially considering the relatively high prices. I ordered what I expected to be a full and satisfying meal, but what arrived was more fitting for a light snack. The value for money simply wasn’t there. Hoping this was an oversight, I politely raised the issue with the supervisor. Unfortunately, there was no effort to address or rectify the concern—no adjustment, explanation, or even acknowledgment beyond a brief response. For a restaurant of Paul’s reputation, I expected better service recovery and more generous portions. Sadly, this experience left me feeling both unsatisfied and unheard. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

To be honest this is one of my worst experiences at any Paul cafe . I have visited almost all in Doha city . This is first time I have been charged for the bread basket . I wanted to order Black Forest ice cream which was not available (understandable since it was weekend and may customers are there ) service wise it’s good but most of the things i wanted were not available.

I have visited all branches of Paul Restaurant, and the service was always excellent and the food great — except at the Festival branch. There, I experienced the worst treatment from two people: the supervisor named Joti and another person named Jounthan. Unfortunately, their behavior was repeatedly rude and unprofessional, and there was clear discrimination, especially towards the Arab staff member who was serving us. The supervisor even treated him disrespectfully in front of customers, which is completely unacceptable. I ordered steak with salad with avocado) and specifically asked for the steak to be served hot and fresh. However, it arrived cold again, just like in previous visits. The Arab waiter kindly showed us proof on his phone that he wrote the order correctly. It seems Jounthan passed wrong information to his supervisor, Joti, who came and spoke to us very rudely without checking the facts. I asked to speak to the manager — I was told he’s Lebanese, but he wasn’t there. They told he is in the morning shift at this time. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience in terms of both service and behavior at this branch.

Our Paul - Doha Festival City experiences have always been special. From the sumptouos food, coffee, and other beveragew but most especially from the excellent and sincere service rendered by the staff who prepares and wait on us. We are always excited to enjoy such feast at Paul most especially with the exemplary service that Ms. Diwata sincerely gives us ❤️❤️❤️

Compared to Bateel in Pearl, this bateel is not good. Pastries are really bad. Very hard in texture and tastes really bad like a normal pastry. Many items in menus are not available here (iced tea, mojitos,snacks etc)

We went here @ 4;15 for a quick aperitif before heading to mall of Qatar. The place was empty so we went upstairs after ordering only to be told by Filipino male that they're closed!! What a strange way to do business! We had a pleasant time elsewhere but I thought management should be aware of this as it affects their business. If the workers were on 'break time' we would've been understanding & taken the food to go! Better inform customers before taking a order

One of the best bakery in Qatar. They are well known for their cakes and pastries. Amazingly set interiors with huge dining space gives a premium atmosphere. They also serve breakfast and other dishes apart from bakery stuff. We tried their honey cake ,tiramisu and cold coffee. We absolutely loved honeycake. Prices are on the higher scale but its worth trying. Staffs are very polite and friendly. Honeycake : 4/5 Tiramisu: 3/5 Cold coffee: 3/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Highly recommended!

It’s difficult to evaluate this authentic cafe , I know Batteel since almost 30 years and I love it from day one when I was living in Qatar , I’m back again after almost 30 years 😍to visit and still same … I love the heritage cultured ambient and design, so delicious variety of 🍰 cake that I love most ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Bateel is a really good place to get your birthday cakes quick. All their cakes are really good. Their best is their Mango Cake! It’s the best!!! The cream and the cake is so fresh and tasty. I was never a fruity person for cakes but this cake is so yum! #bateelbakerydoha Edited (4th March) - I used to always vouch for their Mango cakes which were fresh, soft and yum. But recently I had a not so great experience with my birthday order for Mango cake. Inspite of calling them and ordering specifically for a freshly baked one, it was so evident that they send me their old stock. The cake was a bit hard and did not have a fresh taste. I was disappointed.

Superb taste..Their cakes are most impressive in Qatar in terms of taste, looks, materials..all our family members ensure to visit here occasionally to ensure we never let go off the taste..worth a visit and a good sit down.. peaceful indoors and ambiance make it more soothing..

We had Mango Mousse cake from here which was superb taste and Main highlight was fresh mango pieces, kids enjoyed it.

Used the cigar lounge. Served by Hay, who was excellent as usual. Superb cigar lounge but the music in there tonight was not suitable for a lounge atmosphere. Both volume and music type. Drinks are reasonable and food is great as you’d expect with Hilton hotels.

This place has hit or miss service. Ive had service that was normal; timely and regular, and I've also had service where it took an hour to get food when there was only 1 other customer. The manager came over to us and apologized which was very kind. It was a positive experience however the service didn't change. It took way too long to get new drinks or even the bill. The food was pretty good. Our pretzel was stale and the schnitzel was TINY. If you are familiar with schnitzel it's usually half the size of the plate or possibly takes up the whole plate. With that being said the burgers are normally very good. I will probably go back at least one more time as my friends have said this was not normal but it's happened two times now. We'll see. They do have a beautiful atmosphere both inside and outside seating. If at the very least it's a great place to enjoy cool weather and live music inside.

Great Food & Service at Mulberry Tavern, Hilton The Pearl I had an enhanced brunch tonight at Mulberry Tavern, and the overall dining experience was wonderful. The food was outstanding — especially the Osso Bucco, which was the highlight of the evening. The brisket empanada and salad were both excellent starters with a classic touch, and the dessert was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional — the lady serving us was friendly and attentive, and Chef Soso personally came to our table to explain the dishes, which made it even more special. However, I didn’t really enjoy the Friday night vibe — the view and interior ambiance didn’t quite meet my expectations. That said, the food and hospitality more than made up for it. Overall, a solid 4/5 for food and service! 👏🍽️

Excellent roast dinner at the Mulberry Tavern. The roast beef was absolutely superb – far better than the steak I’ve had at other restaurants in Doha. Perfectly tender and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were wonderfully crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, just how they should be. To top it off, Soso, the chef, came out personally to check on us, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for a proper roast in Doha!

It’s basically a fancy pub with expensive prices. The food is ok, but the selection is quite limited, and their chipotle mayo was way too spicy for my taste. At the entrance my friend’s digital ID (which is officially accepted even by local authorities here in Qatar) was refused and he had to go get his physical one. Frustrating and unnecessary in my opinion. The plating was also questionable: one dish came served on a bed of gravel and another one on raw lentils. I get the attempt at creative presentation, but the gravel is unhygienic and potentially dangerous if accidentally eaten, and using raw lentils just felt like unnecessary food waste. Overall not impressed - you can find far better places in Doha for this kind of experience.

I had a great dining experience at Mulberry Tavern Doha. The chicken parmigiana was perfectly cooked with rich flavors, and the shepherd’s pie was hearty and comforting. The cozy atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for delicious comfort food in Doha.

I'v been being a regular customer for the last few months here, and always love to come back for a cup of coffee or a brunch. They provide wide selection of beverages and food menu at reasonable price. Even I love that they provide decaffeinated coffee, variety of milk selections for lactose-intolerant people. Moreover, the staff, especially Ricky, Akrma, and Soe are always welcoming and very kind. The tables are spacious and seats are comfortable. So I come here whenever I feel like wanting to work outside, having coffee and some nice food together. This is just a perfect place to do it.

A nice coffee shop located in the old airport area and next to the crown plaza hotel. It has a huge variety of sandwiches and pastries. The place has a huge seating area. The service was quick and excellent, and the price was good. My only complaint is the lack of parking. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

This is my favorite place in Doha! I spent a few hours here studying and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and very relaxing. The staff are super nice and professional — especially Raymund, Ichsan, Biraj, Sajina who made my visit even better. Meesh has been home for my hybrid work lifestyle for years now and I have always loved this cafe for its great food/beverages, nice environment to work and friendly staffs (raymund, akrima & soe).

Had a wonderful time with a friend catching up while enjoying our hot chocolate. Enjoyed its comfortable ambience that makes you feel you are at a fancier version of your home. I saw many other patrons working on their laptops, and it will definitely be my top pick if I needed a place to work while enjoying a variety of snacks and beverages.

Hudson Tavern at Mondrian Doha is a decent pub with a nice atmosphere. The space is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections. We had burgers — they were filling, but we didn’t really enjoy the taste of the meat. On Sunday and Monday evenings, they offer 50% off for certain industries as part of their Industry Night, though the discount doesn’t apply to every item on the menu.

Hudson Tavern Mondrian Hotel, Lusail An American-themed bar tucked inside the stylish Mondrian Hotel in Lusail. While the menu is limited, it offers enough variety to satisfy most cravings. The atmosphere is lively, with fantastic music and excellent service from the attentive staff. I opted for the roast dinner solid 7/10. The Yorkshire-style puddings were slightly stale, which was the only downside. Otherwise, the meal was enjoyable and the experience well worth a visit.

Very nice pub with beautiful decor. We were served by Nouhayla who is adorable. I had high expectations for the menu because it offers dishes from various universes. I chose the ceviche and it was a disaster. Inedible it was so salty. Did they cook the fish in salt??? The fries had a strange taste (probably the oil used). The beef tartare is uninteresting. The meat is completely crushed and mixed with the ingredients and gives a pasty effect. Why put dishes from different countries on the menu if the cook does not master the preparations!!!! Too bad.

I just visited with a friend. We wanted to unwind after work and the place was exactly what we needed. A special mention to Adam, our server. He was amazing. Thank you so much for your personal touch, it made our night special. Wishing Adam all the best cause he truly deserves it.

Whenever I wanted to have a good burger, I was always going to Hudson. Unfortunately, the quality has changed. The bun got very thick and dry. In the “french” burger, that I always order, I couldn’t feel truffle anymore. My gf is vegetarian and she ordered their vegetarian burger. It was even dryer so she had to use mayo(that she NEVER does) and guacamole to make it a bit more moist. The nachos were good. We have ordered one with guacamole, but by their mistake got a loaded one as well. Good part of it is that they let me have it for free. So I just have to give 5 star for service :) Key lime pie is not made properly, the proportion of the ingredients is wrong(saying it as being a baker myself). Raspberry ice cream was nice. Coconut one didn’t have the coco flavor. The mocktails were good. As for the atmosphere, it is very dark, so we had to turn our phone lights to check the menu. And, what I really dislike, is the smoke smell even if you sit at the non smoking part of the restaurant. The good part is that now they are on MyBook app, so you can get burger, sandwich and dessert for free.

We stayed at the Mondrian this weekend. We've been to the Hudson Tavern before as part of our stay, it was wonderful and we specifically loved the cocktails, especially the Zero Tiki. To our surprise, as we came back this time, we were told we can only have still water as part of our set menu, after asking more than twice if the mock tails are apart of the set menu. We felt like we were challenging the staff, so we didn't want to ask for the mock tails again, as we were only inquiring for what we had the last visit (I even showed our waiters pictures and how much we enjoyed the complimentary mocktails, we haven't stopped talking about them since). Our waiters Michee and Ere kindly offered us some complimentary drinks, which we were grateful for, but it is a shame that what brought us back to the Hudson is no longer available. Not sure if this is something that came from above, but it really did make the Hudson stand out from other options at the hotel, we then went to the Bistro downstairs for dinner as we were recommended to try there.

Update: June 1, 2024 Ordered the graduation Vanilla cake. It looked excellent presentation wise....but the icing and cake was soo sweet. We did not enjoy the taste of the cake. ======= May 18, 2024 We ordered the pumpkin cake and blueberry cheesecake. Very delicious cakes. The coffee was just okay (4/5). Service by Edward was excellent. He smiled and was very accommodating. The rest of the female staff need more training in good customer service.

I don't understand why the customer service is poor in the afternoon. There were only three tables occupied and two tables needing to be cleaned. I arrived around 3:30 PM for a coffee and cheesecake, but both servers were too busy to take my order. Instead of attending to the tables, they were preoccupied with looking at printed receipts and checking totals.king totals.

Good experience at Paul. It's a bit pricey but the taste is fresh. They give fresh orange juice, and the cappuccino was delicious.

The worst service ever i have experienced throughout Paul branches including France, UK, Egypt, KSA, and UAE. Unfortunately, Paul Qatar Vendome branch was by far the worst, I had to wait a long time before anyone took my order, and when I finally did get served, the attitude felt rushed and unfriendly especially from the waiter named Lin. She has no customer service skills or proper communication, she deliver the order in bad manner. On top of that, my order arrived and wasn’t correct, with no apology or effort to make things right, even after spoken to the manager. I hope actions will be taken to improve the quality of service and to ensure that Paul service is good

This was my most recent visit to Paul. I've always enjoyed having their complimentary bread along with fresh butter and olive tapenade. I must say that all their food were fresh and really good especially the salmon and avocado salad. Portions were big and good for sharing. Nice ambience and the manager was there checking each table and asking about the food and our overall dining experience.

I really love this cozy, friendly and pretty place. The people who work here put extra attention to all your needs and they are really kind. I recommend this place for any type of outing (coffe with a friend, lunch with family or just a lonely working-on-laptop day)

Had the Matcha Latte - Hot and it was whisked to absolute perfection 👌 This is a must-try cafe if you wanted your matcha taste like matcha grass and not too sweet (the one that is usually offered in cafes that is almost milk/ cream) ✅ Ambiance is also good for catching up and private talks. It is serene and the furniture is cozy. Interior design makes you feel out of the concrete jungle. ✅ Price is reasonable and staff is very much understanding to accommodate our orders.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Piccolo Cafe and it was a delightful experience. It is chic yet incredibly comfortable atmosphere cafe to relax and unwind. The drinks I ordered 'Matcha Latte' was satisfying, with the rich.I also tried the Colada Lemonade, which was zesty and refreshing—the ideal beverage to revitalise you on a hot day.

It was such a cute cafe and really relaxing so I ended up staying for a long time. I definitely want to come back again!

I have ordered iced matcha with almond milk online. The taste was ok but they mention its only match and milk without sugar or anything else, but the drink is actually sweetned. Sadly i have to throw it into trash bin. Huge disappointment.

The aesthetic of the place was very nice. Large open windows, minimalist interior design and just overall a nice place to look at. Unfortunately, that's just about all that's good about it. The coffee was average at best. If you charge people 20+ QAR for a cup of coffee atleast use some good quality beans. The food was also okay. It definitely wasn't bad but seemed overpriced given the quality and portion sizes. The staff we also okay. They were friendly enough and service was a bit slow. There is parking but there's plenty of construction nearby and inside the building (this is written September 2025).

This 20-year-old shop is famous for its samosas with chola and a variety of sweets. I recently tried their samosa with chola and some sweets, and everything tasted delicious. You can actually see them making the samosas fresh, providing a unique dining experience. Shop is less hygienic. Despite that, the food itself was amazing in terms of taste and flavors. It's a jewel. The tastiest samosas I had in Doha till date. Everything tastes good. Chole samosa was awesome. Haven't tried their chole puri yet as they serve that only in the morning. For hot jalebis visit in the morning or around 4 pm. Tried few sweets and they were too good. I wish they add some more items in their menu. It's a must visit place.

We had a wonderful time at Paul last night. Our waiter Ronald P. made it pleasant, thanks to his attentiveness and magnificent service level. This is despite the crowd during our visit and it seems that he is the only one serving most of the tables. The food of course is delicious as always

Im not quite sure about their beans selection First i ordered hot cappucino for take away, in a timely manner the coffee have been served bit slightly hot than usual cappucino as it should be. But drink wise the crema and everything is good ! They do have a various selection of pastry and bakery. I would recommended you guys to visit the shop, it's a good place to hangout and enjoy the scenery of lusail ! X
