Absolutely love this museum such a wonderful ambience had coffee at the coffee shop. Overlooked the city views . Excellent photo opportunity on either side of the building don’t just go to one and miss the other. There’s a restaurant that’s open in the evening on the rooftop that I would love to try. The layout of the museum is well thought .

Nice museum, like 4 floors , very nice, expect to spend from 1.5 hours and up if you read everything 😀 👍 , very educational. Interesting. My suggestion come near sunset time it's so beautiful , the views amazing outside to the city.

Gazing at the magnificent architecture and view is rivalled only by the immense plethora of knowledge one is emerged it. It is definitely worth visiting. The museum displays Islamic history and modernity. Tickets are available at the entrance. Be ready for quite a walk, though you wouldn't notice it - once immersed in the vast ocean of knowledge.

Very highly recommended. The museum itself is architecturally very beautiful, and the way in which so many beautiful artefacts are displayed is stunning. The story it tells of Islam is easy to understand and important to know. The view over to the Corniche is beautiful too.

The visit to the Museum of Islamic Art was the highlight of my visit to Doha. The artifacts, pottery, and the beautiful items on display were absolutely awesome. The history of the growth of Islam over the different eras was a good learning experience. To visit the Islamic Museum is highly recommended.

Get ready to spend half a day or one full day enjoying art in the museum. Museum outlook itself is already a masterpiece 😌 there are permanent and temporary themes. Like me, I spent 4-5 hours admiring the art and lunch in the cafe (perfect view!) I got the museum silver pass as I was in the visiting the national museum (which is cheaper than paying each time)

The uniquely designed museum taking you on a journey of Qatar and its rich cultural history and traditions. It is worth visiting and will be even better as there are still exhibits being added to the museum. You can get tickets upon entry, without an advance booking. If you go on a weekday, try to get there early.

Architecturally beautiful but very spread out amongst 3 installations and hot walking in the heat (no shade) between venues. The restaurant didn't open until 12:30 so we didn't get to enjoy that. The permanent exhibition section is difficult to find and not well sign posted. They need coloured trail maks on the ground to show you where to go.

Do not visit at the daytime during summer, it’s scorching hot and you won’t be able to enjoy yourself at the place. There are gorgeous minarets and Islamic architecture but the place felt a little disjointed to me, as if some of the structures or tourist spots were thrown together rather haphazardly.

What a beautiful setting. One part has outdoor air-conditioning. This plave would benefit from additional coffee shops, what exists already was extremely crouded. I wish they would extend the AC to the whole area... Lovely beach at the end.

It is a unique blend of the infamous Arab luxury and European essence merged into a delightful experience. It caters to a wide variety of tastes and personalities. It is definitely worth visiting. I loved roaming through the village in the night. The atmosphere is indescribable, yet tranquil.

Very beautiful open space with an amphitheatre. Has a port/ beach. Plan late evening here for beautiful little up scenery. And also to avoid the harsh sun. Lots of cafes near the amphitheatre side but can be a bit pricey

Oh my goodness. There are barely enough words to describe the beauty of this place. It was breathtaking, the architecture, the history, the monuments. Qataris have a way of making every building and site look unique and beautiful. The Katara Cultural Village was an incredible experience, and I learned so much from my tour guide about their culture and heritage. I wouldn’t mind visiting again.

Very live area with so many different touristic views and zones. A must visit is Katara Water Foundation, Katara waterfalls, Katara Gold Mosque and one of the most luxurious malls nearby (Gallerie La Fayette)

What a place I never seen such a nice out of place. Neat and clean huge with lots of shops. Lots of restaurants a lot of good vibes around you can spend the whole day over there have a lot of different kinds of food, sweets tea coffee drinks you name it you can find it and you can find All kinds of different prices and you can enjoy their anything that you are thinking of having a nice environment. Look at my pictures and you will definitely go there.

It's traditional market in center of Doha, but it's already become tourist attraction. Many cafes and restaurants with traditional buildings inside the market. It's nice to come here at night, not to hot and very attractive lamp decoration.

Compared to other Arab countries, the business atmosphere here is much less pushy, which is nice. Tourists can visit with peace of mind. At night, the area was packed with both locals and visitors, but it’s a great place to soak in the atmosphere and look for some souvenirs.

One of the iconic places in Doha, the cafes, restaurants and shops are amazing and affordable , you can get a lot of traditional dresses,gifts and spices. Be sure to explore the central courtyard and watch the dhow boats bobbing in the water—it’s a beautiful blend of the old and new Doha.

Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar, is a renovated traditional market that masterfully blends historical Bedouin heritage with modern amenities. Originally a century-old trading hub, it features winding alleys with stalls selling spices, crafts, textiles, pearls, and even live animals like falcons, evoking authentic Qatari culture. This place is amazing for shopping and photos, but some small vendors don’t take cards. Also, if you go during the day, it can be really hot, better to visit after sunset. So many interesting stalls and the architecture is gorgeous. Everyone was friendly, and we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. Great place for gifts. Otherwise, a great place to explore and eat!

We were sightseeing Souq Wagif and fort is just nearby. Looking forward to see the piece of history but unfortunately closed, located in corner of Souq Waqif, maybe for next time in Doha. There are many local restaurants, cafes and souvenirs shops round

The United States helped Israel fire at Doha. That’s why the U.S. air-defense system stood down when the missile flew in. Qatar should join the Middle East bloc in becoming self-reliant before the U.S. uses Israel to seize all the oil fields.

I got to the fort in the evening so there were no camels that I saw in some of the photos. With the lights it look pretty but with walls rather low, even its tower, I wonder what role it serves as a fort. Maybe it is just my perception that fort needs to be high to be effective.

This fort is always close, but luckily it's open tonight and I had the chance to see what's inside.

Fort Al Koot is a landmark in the heart of Doha nearby Souq Waqif.

Aspire Park NOT RECOMMENDED I visited the park as a solo male traveler. As I was entering, a security guard came up to me and said the park was for “families only,” and that I wasn’t allowed to enter alone. I tried to joke with him, saying, “I’m my own family,” but let’s just say he didn’t find it funny haha. In the end, I pretended to walk away, then sneaked in through another path — successfully. The park itself is… well, just a park. Lots of open space, some trees, kids playing football, and families picnicking everywhere. Security and staff were all over the place, and it felt quite crowded. I walked around and explored every area, then left through the same path I came in — passing the same guard who stopped me earlier. I stared him dead in the eye as I walked out. Felt so good 😂 Clarification: Who’s allowed to enter freely: • Adults with kids • Solo females • Males wearing sports attire (looks like they’re going to exercise) Who’s not allowed: • Groups of males • Solo males who don’t appear to be entering for sports Remember guys, even if they don’t let you in, just do it. Don’t be a wuss

I like walking and do picnics here in early morning or noon at autumn. But now so many birds and ducks here and their 💩 is everywhere. But it's still nice to come here.

A huge park with a lake and a lot of ducks. It’s a good place where you can have a walk and relax away from the city and its a safe space for kids to play.

Really nice park right next to Villagio Mall. There is a small lake/pond where you can hire a paddle boat. There is a bridge with a water fountain. Plenty of places to eat (food trucks).

This was useful to see if in the area. What would have made it even better is if there was some more information available as not all buildings have boards to explain what they were and you couldnt go to the top of the towers. The sunset in the area was beautiful

Barzan Tower It’s about a 10 km drive from Doha (my Uber cost 25 QAR). There’s no entry fee. A staff member near the entrance will ask you to write down your name and where you’re from — that’s all, and then you can enter for free! There isn’t much to see, though. You’ll find some old towers and buildings where you can climb to the top for a nice view of the surroundings, but you can’t go inside the main structure. My visit took about 20 minutes in total, and I managed to get some nice photos. If you have extra time and nowhere else to go, it’s worth a quick stop — but not really a must-visit. Still, it’s free, peaceful, and the staff are very friendly, so that’s definitely a plus :)

While this place is currently under repair, I was able to get in before it all happened. I and my mother were the only people there at the time. Such a peaceful place with an interesting story. Do yourself a favour and read about it before going as it makes the journey slightly outside the main city even more worth it. A great spot to pretend like you're an old world explorer.

Beautiful site rich of history & true heritage of Qatar culture. The sunset view from the towers is breath taking and highly recommended to visit and enjoy the beautiful site view and experience the real history and culture.

Fascinating architectural style though constructed in recent times. It would have been even better if the towers had been open to climb to the top.

The Barzan Towers were built in the late 19th century and were renovated in the early 20th century to serve as watchtowers against the incoming Ottoman soldiers. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we couldn't get inside the towers. But I would recommend to visit this place.

Quite interesting to see these old watchtowers. You are able to climb the stairs inside up to the roof area for a good view. Not too sure if I'd take young children as steps are quite steep.

It's such a lovely place to walk around, get some fresh air, get a coffee or ice cream. The sight is absolutely gorgeous too.

Very Nice place to chill in the evening. The Dhow cruise experience is very nice. All dhow operators are very polite and price is reasonable. A must do activity when you are in Doha. There are certain points for e-Bike rentals.

Qatar Corniche is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sea view. We can see many people coming here for jogging and cycling, choosing this route for its clean and scenic atmosphere. Especially the morning view — it’s absolutely speechless! Perfect spot for families and evening walks too

My favorite place weve visited so far. We took a boat ride in the marina to see to the night lights. Absolutely incredible

My scenic tour along the Corniche was a picturesque one, (though on my visit the hazy weather did my photos no justice,) I was happy to be at this beautiful Promenade with lovely harbour views. From the Dhow boats in the harbourfront, to the beautiful downtown Doha skyline, a nice leisurely walk along the foot path could lead you into Al Dafna Park and seems a tranquil place in the evening. Another area of interest...hopefully for a future visit

Great tourist spot but also great for late night walks. It’s a classic spot in dogs and for good reason. The view is spot on and tons of people are there exercising. There are some good food spots nearby and it’s a very accessible spot. Highly recommend.

I particularly enjoyed the virtual reality experience that lets you see Mecca. It’s a very immersive and moving experience. The interior is peaceful and beautifully decorated, making it a great place for quiet reflection. Whether you’re looking to learn about the local culture, admire the unique architecture, or simply find a moment of peace, Fanar is an absolute must-visit. It's a place that really fosters understanding and connection. We prayed namaaz there and the imam was excellent in his recitation.

The architecture of this mosque is unbelievable. The interior and the set up inside this building is massive. We had the opportunity to visit an area where we got VR glasses for a trip to Mecca and experienced the development of the Kaaba. It was breathtaking and we had goose bumps after the experience.

Must visit, if you are there in Qatar. Can be accessed by metro- green line. Designed by the famous architect Rem Koolhas, the building is extraordinary and superb. Be mindful of the rules. Photography with a professional camera is prohibited unless you clear the formalities. Mobile photography is fine, i guess. There is no entry fee. Visitors who plan to read have many reading areas distributed around. There is a cafe inside, incase you want to sip anything while exploring. Internet facility is also available. Feel free to stroll through the education city if you are free. Tram facility is available incase you dont want to walk. You can even visit QF Ceremonial Court which is pretty near.

My visit to the Qatar National Library (QNL) was stunning. The library’s architecture, designed by Rem Koolhaas, is incredible—it looks like a vast, folded piece of paper, flooding the interior with light. ​The experience successfully blends the past and the future. I was particularly struck by the rare volumes in the sunken Heritage Library, which truly honors Qatar’s history. In contrast, the modern spaces offer cutting-edge Innovation Stations with 3D printers and media labs. It’s more than just a place for books; it’s a dynamic center for creation, study, and community engagement.

Qatar National Library is one of the most beautiful and advanced libraries I’ve ever visited. The architecture is stunning — bright, spacious, and perfectly designed for readers and researchers. The building itself feels calm and inspiring, filled with natural light and modern facilities. The collection is huge — from rare historical books and maps to modern publications and digital resources. There’s also a special Heritage Library that displays ancient manuscripts and items from Arab and Islamic history. The staff are very kind and helpful, and the environment is peaceful — perfect for studying, reading, or simply relaxing. There are also sections for children and youth, plus innovation spaces like media studios and 3D printing labs. Getting there is easy with the metro (QNL Station), and parking is also available. The entrance is free, and anyone living in Qatar can register as a member. A must-visit place in Doha — peaceful, educational, and truly world-class.

From the metro stop at education city right out of the rotating glass door is the tram stop . Blue line takes you to the adjacent entrance of the museum, you can ask the security staff at those locations really helpful. Into the entrance to the museum area to your left iscthe door leading to the museum showcase area. Since.this was a film oriented showing, the setup was good with nice acoustics, oh the highlight is the mega projector screen that may keep you in one room enjoying the view plus the story. It is well curated in that there is a flow of movement starting from the ground floor that has rooms setup to showcase the films listed. Then the first floor that had a variety of art pieces lined up on the walls . As one line I recall , a tree taken is made as a depiction of what a tree could be .paraphrased. this is from the abstract art area.

I recently visited this museum for an exhibition, and it was a fantastic experience. This is one of the best museums in Doha to appreciate modern art in the city. The entrance is free and there are two floors. The permanent collections are on the second floor, but unfortunately, only one of the five galleries was possible to be visited. They had a very good collection of the works of Jean Léon Gérôme on the ground floor.

What a venu, what a permanent collection and what an exhibition about Gerome. Not my first visit but always a treat whenever I am in Doha. Can't wait to see what Lusail Musuem will show when it is open. Free entry. Free lockers.

We were very disappointed with our experience at the museum. Before our trip, we had carefully checked the information on the official website to make sure it would be open. However, when we arrived after a 20-minute taxi ride, we were told at the entrance that it was closed. The staff member we spoke with was neither helpful nor understanding of the situation, and showed no concern for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to leave right away. It’s really frustrating and disappointing that such poor communication and lack of consideration spoiled what should have been a cultural highlight of our visit.

Despite being a very small museum and located 20-30 minutes away from Doha City Center, the museum is worth the time and effort. The museum spans over two floors with the upper floor having the permanent items while the ground floor having the temporary items. Entrance is free. The place is easy to navigate. There are stairs and lifts between the two floors. Worth spending 30-60 minutes here. The museum is located within the Qatar Educational City.

Falcon Souq was one of the my top destinations to visit while in Doha. I appreciate unique opportunity to experience and see firsthand this respected, powerful, ancient art of falconry- a living human heritage. Truly unforgettable moment!

Located next to Souq Waqif, the Falcon Souq is definitely a place to visit. I went there in the morning at around 0800 and it was pleasantly quiet and an excellent time to stroll around and take pictures. Most of the shops allowed me to go inside to look at the falcons and to take pictures. I also visited the Falcon hospital - apparently the only dedicated falcon hospital in the world. The market itself has an interesting architecture / building style. There are some beautiful horses too and the view of Doha skyline, the water and Dhows (traditional boats) just outside the Souq is stunning.

The Falcon Souq, which is close to the Souq Waqif, is an interesting look into the sport of falconry, with a dozen or so shops that sell the birds and related paraphernalia, such as hoods, stands, gloves, leashes, and the like. The falcons can sell for $600 to as much as $100,000, depending upon the skill of a particular bird. There's even a falcon hospital on the grounds of the souq. Falcons are generally kept hooded to keep them calm until their handlers wish to put them into "hunting mode." It was fascinating and a bit unnerving to be so close to these raptors. Note that there is a "bird market" within the Souq Waqif. That market is NOT the falcon market, but specializes in other sort of birds as pets, e.g., parrots, pigeons, parakeets, and the like. The falcon market is nearby, so just ask one of the shopkeepers how to get to the falcon shops.

A beautiful masjid in the heart of Doha. Despite rumours of no kids - I saw many little ones in the main prayer hall during Jumuah Salaah. That said, there are signs prohibiting children, so it’s at your own discretion.

Visiting the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque was a truly memorable experience. We arrived on a weekday around 10 a.m. and were pleasantly surprised to find the mosque nearly empty, giving us a peaceful, unhurried opportunity to admire the stunning architecture in quiet awe. Our guide, Sarah, was an absolute highlight—kind, informative, and easy to connect with. Originally from the U.S., she made us feel instantly at ease and enriched our visit with thoughtful insights into both the structure and the principles of Islam. The tour was completely free, but the experience was priceless. A must-visit in Doha!

Another beautiful venue to visit whilst in Doha. Takes about 20 to 30 min walk from the West Bay metro station. Alternatively there is a bus (107 i believe) which goes from West Bay to the Mosque. The Mosque gardens are beautiful. The Mosque itself is lovely too and super spacious inside. The office / library area hands out Islamic books for free in multiple languages (which doesn't relate to me) , and hand out more appropriate clothing for women and men where required.

A very beautiful Mosque with a rich history. This was an awesome experience and a must-visit. The view is already breathtaking to the Mosque and the Doha-skyline. For everyone who is interested in Islamic culture is this very interesting. You learn and see there so many aspects. The staff is very helpful and friendly, my great appreciation and thanks again to Sarah. I learned so much from her and great was it to meet her there. I came without a tour guide and gave not a call in advance, but that was completely not a problem. Amazing accompaniment from the entrance and during the tour through the building. Definitely worth, what a wonderful afternoon I had.

We only had a few hours in Dubai but fortunate enough to be able to do an airport tour. This included what is called the Blue or Katara Mosque which is located in the Katara Cultural Village. It is renowned for its predominantly blue exterior, featuring impressive glass mosaic art and hand-painted ceramic tiles with colors like turquoise, purple, gold, and blue. The mosque has a unique Islamic star shape with a detached minaret and nine central domes, incorporating any architectural styles. It is both a place of worship and a cultural attraction.

The Katara Mosque is simply beautiful. The blue and gold mosaics sparkle with so much detail, and the minaret looks enchanting when it’s lit up at night. It’s not only a place of prayer but also a work of art that makes you stop and admire.

Strolling through Katara Cultural Village, I unknowingly encountered an impressively unique masjid. The design and style lends much from the Turkish Ottoman period. An architectural wonder and truly worth the visit. I recommend visiting before 9pm if you wish to immerse yourself in its wonder.

Katara Mosque A beautiful mosque located inside the Katara Cultural Village. The design is stunning — covered in colorful mosaic tiles and glass that sparkle under the sun. Anyone can enter for free, even non-Muslims (like me). You just need to take off your shoes before going inside. The staff are very friendly, and when you go inside they’ll show you a short video about the mosque and Islam (about 5 minutes long). After that, you’re free to walk around and explore at your own pace. This was my first time entering a mosque, and I was really amazed — the inside is very beautiful and peaceful. Overall, a welcoming and memorable experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Katara.

A beautiful, relatively small monument shaped like a large oyster in homage to Qatar's past history with pearls being a very important export in the old days. We passed it on our way as we were going to walk the entire Corniche Promenade (Al Corniche) all the way to the West Bay area.

Located right by the marina where many dhow boats are docked. Across from Souq Waqif. It’s a nice sculpture. I was there on Friday evening, moderate crowd. Many people trying to get in a picture. Some people climb into the water, don’t think that is safe/sanitary but to each their own. It’s good for a quick photo opp if you’re shopping or eating by the souq.

The Pearl calmly flows water through it, surrounded by busy street and jetty, depicts peace in chaos. Gets little crowded around the Pearl in evening by locals and tourist. 20~30min boat rides start near the Pearl going up to new Doha, Al Corniche is a wonderful experience. In the evening the Pearl is lighted up with changing colours.

Very beautiful place but a bit crowded on Thursday and Friday. Its for walking relaxation and hanging out with friends and family.

Modern, Comfortable & Iconic Khalifa International Stadium is a standout venue in Doha. Its sleek dual-arch design is both modern and iconic. Inside, the temperature is comfortably cool, thanks to advanced cooling systems. The stadium is easily accessible via the nearby Sports City Metro Station, making it convenient for fans. Whether you're attending a football match or an athletics event, the atmosphere is always electric. A must-visit for sports enthusiasts in Qatar.

The view from the stands isn’t the best — I think it’s because the stadium used to have a running track that was later removed. As a result, you’re quite far from a clear view. However, the atmosphere is good and the lighting is excellent.The situation is disastrous if you go by car, and when I preferred to use the metro, it was even worse — the capacity was far below what was needed to handle the crowd.

The architecture of the stadium is top notch. It is one of the largest stadium and easy accessible from Doha city. Located next to the Aspire zone, this stadium has ample parking facilities. The music system surrounding the stadium is very good. The seats are decent and the illumination inside the stadium is very good. The stadium is equipped with the refreshment stalls

A must see in Qatar! Brilliant open-air stadium with 40,000 capacity. Came here during the Asian Cup. Staff organised the crowds well, the food stores within the stadium were fast and efficient, and the stadium was very clean overall.

1) It's near to train @ metro station (Sport City Station) which only 5 to 10 minutes away from the stadium. 2) There's a prayer room for the Muslim. 3) There's air-conditioning inside the stadium (yes, even it's an open seats area). 4) At night the stadium and the surrounding become more beautiful as the night lightning make the surrounding more colourful at night. 5) Overall it's indeed a World Class @ World Cup Stadium.

Was lucky enough to watch the Qatar WC 2022 3rd place match here. The atmosphere inside and outside the stadium was mind blowing and sets a very festive vibe all over. The stadium is also air conditioned which helps the spectators during summer to enjoy the game well. Definitely a one of a kind experience.

This is the most beautiful place I've ever been... It's a five star stadium located at the heart of a city. The security here is very high and safety is the number one priority. The segregation of the locations of different sporting activities is also well done. The rooms are well labelled and the staffs working here are friendly and experienced. I enjoyed being here. Next time I'll update photos with how the field looks like whenever there is a game.

The park is not only big and huge, but also clean. Nice place for doing sport, family gahering or just playing with kids. Some times we can find the outing activities which held there, such as coffee and chocolate exhibition. The park is also safe for ladies who are doing sport at evening alone.

A very extensive city park. Beautifully maintained greenery, which, in this climate, certainly costs a lot of effort and a lot of water. There are fountains, but of not very attractive appearance. The only shade can be found under the trees. Some sort of canopy would be useful here. There are no people in the park during the day - it is known to be so hot here. The only place to park is in a large underground car park, for 1 QAR per hour.

Al Bidda Park is stunning! Beautifully landscaped gardens, abundant bird life, heritage and amazing architecture. Various sports activities, bookings are essential. Children's play areas and endless of bike and running tracks. Clean, neat and modern braai and picnic facilities, book one day in advance. A place to explore, relax, spend time with family and friends or to exercise. It's centrally located in West Bay, easy to access. Al Bidda Park is also walking distance from the beautiful Corniche.

Big park in heart of Doha. Cycle and walking jogging tracks layeth all over the park in circuits. The best part is natural beauty of the park. Small jungles, fountains, grassland, tall trees and flowers spread across the park. Toilets and resting areas available.

Al Thumama Stadium is one of the most beautiful stadiums in Qatar. The design is unique and inspired by the traditional gahfiya cap, which makes it stand out among other stadiums. The seating is very comfortable with a great view from every angle, and the facilities inside are modern and well maintained. Parking and access are well organized, and it is also easily reachable by metro and public transport. A great place to experience football matches and events!

Went there on the 12th of April for UAE and Qatar Super cup between Al Arabi and Sharjah club. The atmosphere is amazing. I loved the stadium it was easy to access. Huge parking slots. Even though we lost the match but it was a great experience.

Horrendous long walk from the carpark, I am partially disabled and wasn't expecting a 4 mile walk and so many flights of stairs at the ground. Plus not allowed to take a bottle of water in. A nightmare for me, but ground was nice and clean, great design, I had hoped disabled would be allowed a short cut, but no.

It's vast clean and well maintained. Been here in January 2024 for an AFC cup match. It has food kiosk inside the stadium, clean toilets and prayer rooms. The exterior is unique. It looks like an Arabic cap. They provide the bus from the metro station (the nearest metro station is Free Zone) to the stadium. It can accommodate a lot of spectators. It makes easy for people to go for watching match in the stadium. Thank you Qatar!

I recently visited QNCC for an Anirudh concert, and the whole experience was amazing! The hall was stunning, the sound and music setup were perfect, and the event was really well managed with good seating and even fun wristbands for the crowd. There’s plenty of parking, lots of entry gates, and everything – from the washrooms to the concert hall – was super clean and organized. Honestly, QNCC is an incredible venue, and if any event happens there, it’s definitely worth going!

Visited QNCC for the first time and was impressed! The venue is huge, clean, and well-organized, with amazing facilities for events. The architecture, especially the Sidra tree design, has a stunning futuristic aesthetic. Staff were helpful, and the metro access made it convenient. Highly recommend for concerts and exhibitions!"

Very hard to get a parking! And once u got it u need to walk more than 3 kilos to go to gate6 ! Very hard access to gate 6.. no available rooms in gate 6 for prayer!!! Which is not acceptable specially for ladys ! … need to focus on this points otherwise we cant attend events there !!! Prefer DECC its more organized 👌

I attended a concert by the incredible Kadim Al Sahir, and it was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was electric, and Kadim's performance was truly mesmerizing. His voice, the music, and the overall ambiance made it an evening to remember. The way he engaged with the audience and delivered each song with such passion left everyone in awe. If you ever get the chance to see Kadim Al Sahir live, I highly recommend it. It was a night filled with beautiful melodies and unforgettable moments. Villagio Mall is by far my favorite mall in Qatar — it’s simply amazing! The interiors are stunning, with beautiful Venetian-style architecture and vibrant decor that makes every visit feel special. One of my favorite features is the indoor canal with boat rides, plus a fun mall bus ride that kids absolutely love. For those who enjoy sports, the ice skating rink is a must-try and adds so much fun to the visit. The mall also has a wide variety of stores, from luxury brands to casual shopping, and plenty of cafes and restaurants to relax and enjoy. The ambiance, combined with all the entertainment options, makes it perfect for a full-day outing with family or friends. Overall, Villagio Mall isn’t just a place to shop — it’s an experience. Visited Vilaggio Mall and love it's asthetic beauty. It was Friday, a weekly holiday here in Qatar so it was full of visitors. Also took a small bus ride inside the mall and recorded many videos. All international big brands have their outlets and also there so many restaurants. A must visit place if you are visiting Qatar.

We visited the Villagio Mall at Doha, Qatar. The mall is wonderful experience. The mall is located near the torch tower. The interiors of the mall is wonderful and breath taking. It has been designed in Venice style. The water channel the boat ride is one of its kind experience.

Msheireb Museums offer a fascinating look into Qatar’s history across four beautifully restored heritage houses. Each museum tells a different story, from family life to the discovery of oil and the history of slavery, using well-curated exhibitions with bilingual signage. The architecture is stunning and perfect for photography, and admission is free. It would be even better with a few more interactive or multimedia elements, but overall it’s a meaningful and visually beautiful experience right in downtown Doha. Highly recommended!

Free museums introducing the evolution of Qatari society and the development of oil industry. Four locations in total. The area gives different vibes from the traditional market of Souq Waqif. Staff are all friendly. Not crowded at all. Great place to visit.

It is an interesting cluster of 4 individual blocks, with 1 being across the road. All 4 blend into the surrounding architecture, so it is easy to not know where to look or start. However, there is a sign at the entrance of each block and polite people at the reception who will guide you. This is a free museum and the displays are quite self explanatory. I personally liked the experience of walking around and seeing things at my pace. Each block have toilet facility too. My word of caution would be to avoid open sandals. I suffered wearing an open toe sandal as the small sand grains and pebbles got into my feet while I was accessing the 1st block. It isn't a grand building and one is quite capable of taking sometime trying to figure out where to start from, but it is a nice quiet way to showcase the history and culture of Doha, as each block has a different focus subject theme.

The information was great! It was such a good presentation of history that I had no idea about. It was a really good learning experience. Also the buildings and architecture is so beautiful.

These museums are so amazing you wouldn’t believe you can visit for free. All the exhibitions make it easy to learn about the history of Qatar and it’s surroundings through wonderful artistic videos and displays. AC and the beautiful smell of the museums make your tour exceptional.

First of all, I would like to thank the Ruler of Qatar 🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦 Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar is truly an amazing facility. It's very neat and clean, with ample parking space. There’s a dedicated play area for kids, a 2 km synthetic track for those who love walking or running, and a cycling track for both kids and cycling enthusiasts. The surroundings are very green with plenty of trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere. There are also prayer rooms and clean restroom facilities available. If you're feeling stressed, spend an evening there — you'll feel like you've entered another world.

The architecture is striking and unique, making it one of the most eye-catching stadiums in Qatar. Inside, the seating is comfortable with great visibility of the pitch from all angles. The facilities are clean, modern, and well organized. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a match or simply admire the design.

Another one of the Qatar WC 2022 stadiums which hosted some of the most interesting matches. Happened to watch the thrilling Serbia vs Cameroon match here which was truly an unforgettable experience and match. The stadium is also air conditioned which makes it ideal for summer matches as well.

Beautiful and verry comfortable stadium for any football tournament. The only what should be planned is spectator routes for ingress and egress. As it takes too long time to reach the venue.

It was difficult to find the right location for the appointment as there are so many parking spaces and different departments so it was a long walk to the department. As of the service it was great very friendly staff and doctor, but while going to the lab no one explained what to do it was quite confusing as we waited for no reason!! I entered my appointment on time , others were complaining that they waited for 1 hour !! Overall it was good.. Building and interior was amazing and clean with cafes inside and I spotted 51east gift shop..

Disappointed by Mental Health Referral Rejection I feel compelled to share my recent experience in hopes of prompting reflection and improvement. I was referred by my physician for mental health services at this hospital, expecting a supportive and accessible process during a time I genuinely needed care. Unfortunately, the referral was rejected without a clear explanation or any meaningful guidance on alternative options. This left me feeling incredibly frustrated, dismissed, and disheartened. The lack of transparency and communication around why I was turned away only added to the stress I was already experiencing. Being referred by a trusted physician should carry weight, and I expected the hospital to uphold a higher standard of coordination and compassion. To be fair, my experience with other departments at this hospital has been adequate, but the way this mental health referral was handled was deeply disappointing. I hope the hospital revisits its referral process and prioritizes timely, respectful mental health access for patients who are actively seeking help

I had been waiting three months for this appointment and just Because I was late few minutes they cancelled my appointment. I was literally begging them to make any room but they were stubborn. A stunning and colorful outdoor exhibition at the Museum of Islamic Art Park. Yayoi Kusama’s giant sculptures, like the famous pumpkin and shiny silver balls, made the space feel magical. The Infinity Room with its endless lights was a highlight. A fun, unique art experience that brought color and creativity to Doha.

Al Riwaq ensures world-class, prime art exhibitions and experiences. Artists who have been exhibited includes Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama and currently a phenomenal Orientalist art exhibition showcasing a collection of intelligently curated artworks. I have only had positive and lingering memories of the exhibitions here and visit the exhibitions numerous times due to the quality of work. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist with queries and information. It is family friendly and the content easily accessible for all ages. The gallery ensures that there are enough information and guidance for a thoroughly thought-provoking, or just a pleasantly relaxing experience. It is situated in MIA park and in walking distance of the MIA art museum therefore a double whammy of culture and leisure. Souq Waqif is also a comfortable walk away for great cuisine and shopping.

Al Riwaq Gallery is hosting Jeff Koons’s first exhibition in the Gulf region wich provides a unique view into his exceptional career as one of the best-known contemporary artists. In the 1990s, he created a series of huge steel sculptures imitating oblong balloon toys. Playing with such balls, as Koons said, in childhood made an impression on him, which has not been erased to this day.

Right now 27/JULY they have an outlet till end of this month (Takashi Murakami, Jeff Koons, DIOR and others) a lot of gifts in good price 😇

I love that masjid. It just feels and reminds me of the masjid I used to go to growing up. Nothing to fancy and showie showie, which I like. Clean and spacious and always smells nice. Though, sadly, they don't do any lectures or teachings after Friday prayers ( like they used to do in Ramadan) this is the state masjid, so at least go over and above with Islamic teachings and not like pray and go home. I love going there and sitting and reciting the Quran and praying .. They have chairs u could use if you have back problems and always have bottles of water to drink ( at least on Friday prayers )

The best way is to pray Fajr. If you are planning to be there for Eid prayer 30 minutes before it is advisable to pray in some other mosque

As a stamp collector I was hoping to see the museum in its normal state. It was retrofitted for the FIFA so it was all football stamps. I do plan in returning to Doha, for the GP in 2023, possibly I’ll visit again. The location is prim in the Katara Neighborhood.

Arab Postal Stamps Museum is located inside of Katara Cultural Village, close to the Katara Mosque. During the World Cup Qatar 2022, it was displaying the Qatar 2022 special series stamps: Qatar team, stadiums, Laeeb, FIFA, etc also there was a huge exhibition with stamps related to all World Cups from world wide collectors. At first we were impressed of the Design when we were standing in Front of the Building and even after entering it. But very fast we recognized that inside there are many Shops and Restaurants but all of it are looking simple designed and the offered items (goods) were looking quite cheap. Cheap in this sense has nothing to do with prices. Comparing to this the Villagio Mall has a better Design and better Shops.

My fiancé and I visited the Museum of Illusions on my recent visit to Qatar. We had an amazing journey through the minds of the creators, and made some wonderful memories along the way. Our guide, Imani, made us feel welcome as she showed us each exhibit and explained the workings of each mind mending illusion. We experienced wonder, excitement, intelligent graphic illustration, and fun. It is reasonably priced fun for the whole family, kids will find excitement in learning, and adults will enjoy intellectual satisfaction throughout the entire journey of illusions. We would highly recommend this activity on your next journey to Qatar, don't miss this one.

This mall is quite different from other commercial malls in Doha and may well supersede them in some ways. Everything is different, every restaurant, every branded shop and interior. They have quite a way with the rich. There are several comfortable sofas and tables throughout the mall. There is a very luxurious atmosphere with a well-dressed staff and disciplined security guards.

The Toy Festival held at Doha Exhibition Center is a delightful event for families. Located near City Center Doha, it’s easily accessible and well-organized. The entry fee is QR 50 per person, which is quite reasonable for the experience offered. Children will especially enjoy the wide variety of toys, games, and interactive zones. The festival offers a fun and engaging environment with something for every age group. Although it can get a bit crowded inside, the crowd is generally well-managed. The ambiance is vibrant yet comfortable, making it pleasant for both kids and adults. Staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth visit for everyone. There are food stalls and seating areas available for short breaks. Overall, it’s a great outing option and definitely worth a visit with children.

The event was professionally organized, bringing together a diverse range of exhibitors from across the construction and infrastructure sectors. I visited during Doha International book fair 2025 and it was worth visiting, thousands of books from many different publishing houses. Management was very good.

A disappointing experience that didn’t match the expectations I had upon arriving in Doha. The venue’s lack of organization and professionalism was surprising, especially for a country known for its modern development. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Doha’s first impression: When I landed at the airport and walked through the city, I was genuinely impressed. The streets, infrastructure, and overall vibe gave me the feeling of a modern, efficient country—similar to Dubai. --- ❌ Negative Aspects: • Unclear entrances: The exhibition center had poorly marked access points, making it difficult to find the right way in. • Small venue: The space felt limited and underwhelming compared to major exhibition centers like those in Dubai. • Poor event coordination: The event was listed online to start at 9 AM. We arrived at 10, only to be told it was delayed to 11—and then again to 12. This was extremely frustrating, especially for international visitors who had planned their schedules carefully. • Unprofessional handling: Such disorganization reflects poorly on the country’s image. It was disappointing to see a key venue fail to match the level of development seen elsewhere in Doha.

The mall has a great and lively location, however the mall is surprisingly empty, it has few stores and restaurants compared to the huge space. Last week I went, I asked about some stores and they all closed. The bathrooms also are very old and a mess, it’s not up to the level that we see in other malls in Qatar. I don’t why this mall is neglected like this while it has huge potential.

It's an air conditioned Mall. Good for kids. Kids are provided some free activities for drawing. Painting and learning by volunteer groups who are always welcoming. The fountain is a speciality with the kids. There is carfour. Daiso, and many restaurants. Good place to spend some nice time with family. There is kids play area which needs opinions from kids themselves

I swung by that mall yesterday. It was right next to my hotel! The mall was huge, and the vibe was wild, but it was quite empty because of the heat. I even offered prayers there since the prayer rooms were on the first floor!

Dear Landmark mall Management, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint about the unacceptable conduct of your security staff. Recently, my cousin was bullied directly in front of your security team, and they failed to take any action whatsoever. Shockingly, when my other cousins arrived to check on the situation, your security guards threatened to ban us instead of addressing the harassment taking place. One security guard even went so far as to threaten to physically harm my cousins, which is completely unacceptable behavior for anyone in a position of authority. Additionally, the individuals harassing my family were recording my aunt and staring at her inappropriately, yet the security staff did not intervene, did not stop the recording, and did nothing to protect her dignity and safety. It is evident that your current security staff are not fulfilling their duty to ensure the safety of visitors. They appeared more interested in protecting their own jobs than in protecting vulnerable patrons. This situation is completely unacceptable, and I urge you to immediately review your hiring standards, training, and oversight for your security team. Nice mall Not so crowded The best thing is Sheesha on terrace, you may take your kids and allow them to play in the open play area and you can enjoy sheesha Lemon garden is good. We have not tried kaliyan. Well suited for winter season if you want your kids to play in open area.

Love to walk around at this Souq. It's very big, you need lots of time. The location is amazing, being right on the beach. Great atmosphere. Make a whole day of it and also go to Al Wakrah beach right next to the Souq.

However, the only downside is the long walk to reach the metro or parking after events—it can be tiring. Other than that, everything is well-organized and enjoyable

The organization was flawless — easy entry, great facilities, comfy seats, and perfect views from every angle. You could feel the passion and energy of fans from all over the world bouncing off the walls. Every cheer, every chant just echoed beautifully through the stadium. It’s not just a stadium — it’s a masterpiece. Qatar really outdid themselves with Lusail. I’ll never forget the goosebumps from that night. 100% deserves its spot among the greatest stadiums on the planet.

It's the biggest stadium, yet not the most beautiful. The down side is going to the upper floors as it is very tiring to go 6 stories up, so if you have an elderly person with you, there is no way they can make it. However the stadium is good and make sure to book lower level seats for smooth access and exit.

Education City Tram is very convenient transporting passengers around Qatar Foundation. The tram itself is wide and spacious. Every stop has an enclosed waiting area which is air conditioned and offers free water. The best thing is that the ride is free.

This stadium is one of the better stadiums that I've been to during this world cup. It's nearly constructed and very well organised. My only issue was once again the Metro and the taxi stands were really far away but other than that it was quite new, had the right amenities and was very easy to access. It was well signed and it was a good experience being there

Education city is actually a beautiful place and a must visit. Their are several places to visit in education city.eg oxygen park, national library, education city mosque, and education city stadium and many more. Since the tram was constructed it is easy to travel around the education city, you can get down from the education city metro station or Al shaqb metro station and hop into the tram and explore the wonderful parks and architecture of the education city. And the tram is free for use. There are some universities in education city and an old house also. The architecture of the education city mosque is stunning. You definitely visirt education city to spend some time.

My recent favorite spot. Architecture is fantastic. Such a Photographic place. So greenery, has wide varities of trees and plants. Newly tram is introduced inside education city. Places inside education city : oxygen park, mosque, golf club, stadium , library, ceremonial court. Metro is the fastest way to reach.

Education City for me is an excellent place for enrinching our knowledge with fully support academic settings and work and study life balance with various place that we can do the activities. Education City as home of Qatar Foundation building, we can explore various universities from Undergraduate to Doctoral level in one complex. I really enjoy my time in Student Center where we can play table tennis, bilyard, bowling and so on. Also we can use Ballroom 3 for studying. The other lovely place is Recreation Center where I spend most of my time for swimming and I plan to do Sauna as well. I wish more international student could come to this place. The last part, public could enjoy the Oxygen Park such as enjoy the food with family in the grass, jogging and so on. Explore it and feel it.

The entrance of Burj Doha is a lush green haven, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. The abundance of greenery creates a welcoming and refreshing atmosphere. This isn't just a pretty covering; it's a modern interpretation of the traditional Mashrabiya screens found in Islamic architecture. The absence of a central core reveals a forest of concrete diagrid columns, their X-shapes intertwining gracefully like branches reaching for the sun. This innovative structural system not only provides exceptional strength and flexibility but also creates a spacious and airy feel throughout the building.

Went here for Friday prayers 2 weeks ago. We picked this masjid mainly because the sermon is in English. The imam’s Quran recitation was stunningly amazing. Will definitely recommend to attend prayers here at least once while visiting Doha. The souk is just across the masjid. So plan the day as such that you start with prayers, lunch and then the day/evening at the souk. Love love Doha. 💕

Al Fanar masjid is a state of the art mosque designed beautifully from outside as the manarat spirals towards the top, from inside its a simple structure defined by the local culture. The ground floor has a cultural experience exhibition filled with historic islamic books and events. The first floor has a mini Library with offices on the top floors. Shops and other retail stores are spread across the floors. Plenty of parking space is available. Must visit for praying!
