What a place I never seen such a nice out of place. Neat and clean huge with lots of shops. Lots of restaurants a lot of good vibes around you can spend the whole day over there have a lot of different kinds of food, sweets tea coffee drinks you name it you can find it and you can find All kinds of different prices and you can enjoy their anything that you are thinking of having a nice environment. It's traditional market in center of Doha, but it's already become tourist attraction. Many cafes and restaurants with traditional buildings inside the market. It's nice to come here at night, not to hot and very attractive lamp decoration.

Loved strolling Souq Waqif! May it be night or day, still equally a memorable experience. They have a lot of great finds such as souvenirs, clothes, scarfs, perfumes etc. Streets and foot traffic tend to be very busy on the weekends. Great experience overall.

Compared to other Arab countries, the business atmosphere here is much less pushy, which is nice. Tourists can visit with peace of mind. At night, the area was packed with both locals and visitors, but it’s a great place to soak in the atmosphere and look for some souvenirs.

Here you can find pretty much everything and also you can train your bargaining skills. And when that's done, you have to stop and visit the many restaurants nearby.

Pros: Friendly staff and cheap Indian food. Not really crowded unlike most Indian Bakalas. Cons: Not well sanitized toilet and limited parking space. They also speak little English or Arabic. So you need to adjust to communicate with their waiters. Recommended: Try ordering their mumus their delicious for 10 Qar.

Staff was good, service was nice. Atmosphere is well. I had tom yum soup, it had neither lemongrass taste or lime leaves taste .... nothing... not spicy at all. maybe i should have had thai food in thai restaurant. Seafood platter: seafood doesnt have that ocean smell and taste, maybe its all farmed or not fresh.

The grill items in the menu were great, but stay away from anything bechamel on the menu. The sauce was bad, bland, and they used canned mushrooms. Apart from that, Very responsive and polite waiting staff. Will go back for the flavour filled tasty fish grills!

The seafood restaurant offered a delicious meal. The soup was particularly enjoyable, with perfectly cooked and delicious accompaniments. The highlight Shaari fish with coconut curry sauce along with soup, which made for a fantastic starter. Overall, a great place for a memorable seafood experience.

The staff are incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a warm smile and making you feel welcome. The atmosphere is fantastic—it even reminds me of Thailand! The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, with generous portions that make every meal satisfying. A great experience all around!

I ordered the Cashew Chicken and liked it overall, though I noticed the cashew was a bit overcooked. Aside from that, the dish was tasty and enjoyable. The service was nice and the staff were friendly, which added to the experience. I also liked the ambience — it was pleasant, though I think a soft touch of background music would make it even better.

Listen to me: ROASTED DUCK WITH RED CURRY is-a-must-try✅✅✅✅ Absolutely delicious! The duck was incredibly tender, soft, and flavorful. The curry sauce? Wow—rich, thick, and packed with bold spices. It left a warm, comforting aftertaste. So, so good!! For just 58 QAR, it also came with jasmine rice. The service was super friendly and fast. Honestly, Jasmine Thai serves the best Thai food in Qatar. Highly recommended!

My family and I have been coming here for a few years now. The food never disappoints! My favorite is their egg noodles with duck, the ice tea is amazing and dim sum as well. The staff is welcoming and really appreciate how they always remember us. :) The only wish I have is that the restaurant has a terrace or something similar, so in days the weather is nice there is an option to sit outdoors.

It was a recommendation from a friend to try Japanese Ramen, hence I decided to try and it was a good experience. I like the food and it is the first time for me. I may need to try Ramen in Japan to know and evaluate correctly, however I enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is great and the staff are amazing.

One of the best ramen spots in Qatar! My go-to order is the Tantan-Men Ramen with spicy green onions — it's absolutely delicious and always hits the spot. Ramen here is my ultimate comfort food. Amazing place, we were at a stop-over in Doha for 4 days and we ate here 2 times. We tried Naruto Ramen, i had my own ramen made, the onigiri is worth mentioning and lastly the Karaage ( the fried chicken if i misspelled ). Kinza citrus is also really nice i recommend you try it.

Went here with a small group of friends, unfortunately they were out of stock of plenty of items (Shoyu & Miso). So went for the Shio ramen 🍜 first impression, the portion size was amazing, the broth was good as well, noodles were just about okay. Overall the rest of the ingredients and the whole package was good quality but quite average in terms of flavor. If you're looking for a quick, warm and filling ramen spot, this is it, if you're looking for the ramen "experience" it falls short of it.

This has to be one of the most satisfying bowls of ramen I've had outside of Japan. I opted for their signature Spicy Tantanmen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was the star of the show. It had a creamy, rich texture with a deep nutty flavor that perfectly balanced the spicy chili oil.

Just went there and ordered a ramen for take away, Paid 38 riyals. When i reached home and i saw, It was nothing like in picture. It was misssing condiments no eggs. Just two slice of chiken mortadella soaked in some sweet sauce. I should have just bought 3 riyals instant ramen from store instead. You go to fancy restaurant and of course you expect fancy stuff. Alas it was very disappointing. What did i pay 38 riyals for?

A friend recommended this place for their korean bbq! Unfortunately, it wasn’t available for Ramadan, so we had the Iftar buffet. But they had a variety of options for it and the food tasted good! The staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely come back. A good choice for affordable and good food!

We came on a weekday night so there were a lot of tables available. We had the basic hotpot buffet priced at 149 / person. We enjoyed the food, ambience and music, too. Service was excellent. Toilet was very clean with good interiors...5 stars for the toilet.

The food was delicious, just way you need when you look for a home cooked Asian meal. The staff were lovely and friendly. I just wish they offer chilly oil in the table as complimentary item.

We had a great dinner here. Staff were very accommodating. When they found out that it was our first time dining there, they helped us cook. They were also very helpful and patient in finding the right order for us. We ended up with a Korean BBQ set for 2 for 700 grams. If you are not that hungry or on diet, this is a perfect meal! We loved it and will be going back to try more on their menu. They were also attentive to our needs!

A small group of us went for lunch buffet, had the hot pot and Korean grill. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was fast and friendly. The staff was very attentive to our needs, especially "Drei" He had asked us if this was our first time experiencing their hotpot, and when he said yes, he gave us a pretty good point to enjoy the food more. It’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the art of classic French cooking. While I occasionally explore other menu items, I always find myself coming back to that signature bowl of soup. It’s not just a meal—it’s a tradition. The ambiance at Paul is elegant yet cozy, and the service is typically attentive and welcoming. The only reason for the 4.5 stars instead of a full 5 is the occasional inconsistency in serving time, but overall, it’s one of my favorite go-to spots.

I never imagined I would see basmati rice in a poke bowl, but Paul has proven me wrong. Unfortunately, this “creative twist” turned out less innovative and more of a misunderstanding of what a poke bowl actually is. Poke is Hawaiian with Japanese influence, where the rice base is crucial—sushi rice brings balance, while basmati brings… well, something entirely different. The natural aroma and texture of basmati completely clashed with the dish, making it taste rather unpleasant. I ordered a Japanese-inspired dish, not a culinary detour to India, and the result felt less like creativity and more like a shortcut—quite disrespectful to the origins of the dish. Plus the menu uses the term of “mixed rice” which is very unclear, and misleading! Whoever came up with the decision to use basmati rice in a poke bowl might want to reconsider their career as a chef, because this was simply not a professional presentation of the dish. I ended up returning it.

I am usually a fan of Paul restaurants, I visit several of his branches and they are all fine. My low review now for the branch of the Pearl is simply an advise to correct issues that are not regularly present in his reputed and professional branches. 1. The air conditioning is not working in most of the restaurant and you can easily sweat while sitting, people were waiting for the corner tables to get cleared so they could move to the less heated tables. 2. At 9h30 am, not having a regular cheese croissant available, should not be an option for answering customers, since it is not too early to be baked, and not too late to be sold out. It was simply removed of today list of baking.. 3. The almond croissant had overcooked crust, but hard paste inside, suggesting it was rapidly cooked.. Hopefully I'll be visiting again and correcting my review. Regards,

Probably the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I asked them to remake it because there was absolutely no coffee flavor. Even after they added two shots, it still tasted like warm milk with nothing in it. If this is their idea of a cappuccino, I’d rather pass

This is a very nice mexican restaurant with tasty traditional food. Everything was very tasty, I liked my takitos very much, the queso fundido was also nice and my friends gave great feedback about the rest. My margarita was well balanced and the glass it came in is simply wonderful. The sangria was very good too. Overall, the decor, the food and the music were creating an amazing vibe. I would come again! The staff was also very friendly.

Had another fantastic experience at Vivo Maxicu N! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with lively decor and friendly staff ensuring a great dining experience throughout. We indulged in the Red Enchiladas, which were bursting with authentic flavors, and the Viva Special Nachos—undoubtedly some of the best nachos we've had, loaded with fresh toppings and delicious guacamole.The drinks were another highlight—one made with fresh strawberry and another classic piña colada, both expertly crafted and refreshing. If you want to enjoy authentic Mexican food and atmosphere, this is the place! As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by vibrant colors and fun decorations like the famous Mexican skulls and dolls such a visual treat. They even have Mexican hats for taking photos! Most of the staff seem to be from Mexico and when we couldn’t decide what to order, Mr. Isra kindly brought us a photo menu and explained each dish. We tried the shrimp Molcajete for the first time, the shrimp were super plump and the combo with melted cheese was amazing. It made me want to try even more Mexican dishes! I’ll definitely be back soon.

Good atmosphere located in a beautiful part of Qatar. Food was hit and miss, some of the dishes were fantastic, the tacos were great as was the nachos, however the burrito and chimichanga was not as good in my opinion. Mojitos were good and I’d say slightly overpriced given the food but overall a good spot and I would go again but adjust my order

My fave pad thai and chili beef rice place, the taste of both dishes are consistent ever since. They banana fritters is also good. My feedback today would be for the mango sticky rice. I was it got crispies on top but the rice is too soft and do not have the authentic texture like a perfectly cooked glutinous rice. Would also nice if it has more scent from the coconut or pandan leaves or from how it smells in thailand. But this feedback is hoping that they can re invent to make their mango sticky rice better. We paid using urband point, total bill is QAR 79 for two excluding of beverages because we brought our own water.

Mama Rozie Restaurant stole my heart from the very first day I tried their amazing,delicious, mouth watering food. The hygiene level is Top notch and all dishes are made with love 💕 Unfortunately I haven’t Dine in any of their walk-in restaurant(I’m looking forward to that) but I always order Take out . I introduced Mama Rozie to all my colleagues and they all love it . This restaurant accommodates both spicy and non spicy food lovers and it’s highly recommended. Had dinner at Mama Rozie today and it truly hit the spot. I ordered the Iga Bakar and it was absolutely perfect….tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. The smoky aroma and well balanced seasoning made every bite satisfying. You can tell they put care into the preparation. The place is beautiful, the seating is comfortable, and the view is truly amazing. The food tastes good, but the portions are small compared to the price. What surprised me most was that a bottle of water costs 40 QAR (around $10), which is quite overpriced. A nice experience in terms of ambiance, but I wouldn’t repeat it.

The restaurant was quite spacious and since there was a terrace, I chose to sit outside. The view was great and of course, with air conditioning, it was very relaxing. The host and staff didn’t seem very friendly. The only Asian staff member was always smiling and very welcoming. The interior and decor had a Japanese touch but since the concept was an izakaya, I felt it could have given off a more casual Japanese izakaya atmosphere. For the starter, I ordered the fried squid which was well seasoned with spices and very tasty. The main dish salmon teriyaki was perfectly cooked—moist and tender. For dessert, I went with the pecan pie sundae. The presentation was eye-catching and the caramel-based flavor really stood out. What bothered me was that the table felt a bit sticky making it hard to lift the teapot and cups. Also, the food was quite expensive for the portion size and the service left something to be desired. That said, the taste of the food was absolutely perfect.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Zuma! The standout dishes for me were the crab salad and the steak – both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Our host, Shobman (forgive me if I’ve spelled that wrong), and the night manager were both incredibly attentive and made the experience feel personal and seamless. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the spicy corn — it used to be a favourite dish of mine, but this time it was unexpectedly spicy and not the way I remember it. Came for the hotpot buffet. It was great. A bit surprised that it's on a rotating table but it makes it more fun. Don't have to wait for more meats to be brought out. Came with a friend and we loved it. Looking forward to come again

Dragon Restaurant has relocated. Now they are located at Tourist Hotel. Amazing and beautiful atmosphere. Staff are approachable and helpful. Food are served fresh. Hygienic environment. Prices are affordable. They even have buffet twice a day and private room reservation too. I particularly like their homemade iced lemon tea. Check it out! Highly recommended.

The restaurant has relocated to the Tourist Hotel with more spacious and modern setting. Unfortunately we found the service is slower than we used to have. Food was good as usual. Not to be missed is crunchy candied sweet potato. Parking is a challenge in the area though it is better than the old location.

Everything was spectacular, reaching above our expectations to the point that weve came more than once and is planning to continue coming here ever once in a while. Every time we come it has always been one of our best experiences, the food, the ambience, the customer service was all on point!! The food is very authentic and the portions are generous. They’ve also updated the menu with many new dishes this time. It’s a great place for group or family gatherings! They also offer individual hot pots, which is quite unique in Doha. I really enjoyed it.

It was a tiny place and my first time to try the Pho and it was bland for me but I like the simplicity of the dish. The staff were very helpful and they still have that “Wear Something Pink “ every Sunday for a free Strawberry Mojito. The restaurant has this distinctive scent so maybe an air purifier can help remove it. The prices were not cheap but as a specialty restaurant it’s fine. Overall it was a good experience.

The menu is various with many kind of Vietnamese traditional foods. I love Chicken Pho then i visited 2 times, same order. And it was really satisfied me. The taste of soup is very good & unforgettable. My family also tried Banh Cuon & Banh Xeo those are good items in Hoi An's menu. I rated 5/5 for the foods. The service is good with Vietnamese & Pakistan waiters. Miss Phuong is Vietnamese & engaged of introducing us more about the material of VN foods. Service is worth for getting 5/5. The decoration is nice with many lantern that made me remember Hoi An where i visited several time. The atmosphere was great also the service the appetiser was very delicious. The main course I ordered the soup noodles. I think it’s the traditional Vietnamese noodles. I think it will be better if I use more condiment with it. Overall, this restaurant is the best Vietnamese restaurant I visit here in Doha

The food is really outstanding! Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I really suggest the Chicken Pho soup and all rice menus, stirred fry glory morning is a must to try!

Took away spicy lemongrass beef pho to satiate my appetite for the cold weather. Everything was packed neat in separate containers with necessary cutlery. After assembling everything together I felt a chef. The pho had a hearty soup, combined with the soft noodles it was soothing. Felt the beef was quite dry and a bit chewy, hence couldn’t finish all of it. Ambience was lovely with close resemblance to restaurants at Vietnam.

Generally good food. The only concern I had about the spring rolls. Those were a bit on a dry side. The rest of the food was yum.

We had a sweet sour whole fried fish and it was very sweet with no sour/pepper.

Prawan Dumpling was not properly cooked after having that we started feeling stomach cramps. The shrimp noodles was too oily and egg fried rice was below average. Napali Waiter Behaviour is too bad and rude and the is not ready to take or accept feedback. The warm water which was served had foreign particles in it. Hygiene is very bad. I highly not recommend this place for food safety taste & hygiene.

Food portions are a lot. Best believe you will have your fill 😍. The staff were cheerful and helped with recommendations on what to try. My fave orders were the Sweet and Sour chicken and the Hot and Sour soup 💯 Would totally recommend this restaurant. To be honest, I didn't like that much Chinese food until I have tasted Great Wall Chinese food, but, their specialities are amazing and so so many. You can easily get lost in the menu and they always have everything it is posted in the menu. The restaurant itself is full of Chinese handcrafted work of art and everything is thought into the last detail to portray the Chinese art all over the restaurant. The advantage of the area where the restaurant is located is that you can always find a place to park. Something that I think the restaurant should do to improve its overall outlook is to undergo renovations to be up to the standards. Nevertheless, I think it's a nice visual and exceptional culinary experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic Korean food experience, this restaurant is definitely the place! Their kimchi and sweet radish is top notch! Blackbean noodles will always be my top 1. Looking forward to come back here after Ramadan.

Got the Black bean noodles. Contains seafood and so delicious! I’ve had the same at a different Korean restaurant and thought this was far superior. The syrupy base is silky smooth and something you can’t get enough of. If I had a second stomach, I’d have another one. Portion so massive. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

The place is a bit quiet, but don’t let that fool you,the food is amazing. We had the seafood pancake, jajangmyeon, and tofu stew. Everything was delicious, especially the tofu stew! The staff are super nice, as always. It’s not my first visit and certainly won’t be my last.

Visited this restaurant around 5 pm on a weekend. Parking was a challenge, with limited spaces. The initial strong smell from the open kitchen took some getting used to, but once seated, it became less noticeable. Despite the emptiness, the food was delicious—loved every dish we ordered. The iced tea was a standout. Despite the parking hassle and initial aroma, I'd definitely return for the delectable menu.

I have been there multiple times within the last year and all the people i brought along with me have enjoyed the food thus far. It seems to be authentic Korean food which tastes absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, it’s in a bad location which makes it seem like a very ordinary place but the food there is top tier and it has a simple and quiet environment which is just what i enjoy. ps. large portions. i do encourage you, as a customer, to bring a couple more people with you so that you could finish it. take away is also an option but certain things aren’t packaged safely so it’s best to eat in the restaurant.

I used to go periodically to eat and my go to order was the szechuan beef. Last time I was there the beef looked different and the taste was also different, like they changed the method of cooking or maybe the type of beef, but it looked like a very light-colored piece of rubber. Even generally, from the past years I’ve noticed a drop in quality, which does not help justify the increase in prices.

2022 update: food is still as good, as with quality of the dishes, but the prices are 10-30qar more expensive than before! We ordered the Ramen Special Jjambong (86 QAR / ≈ €21), a Mango Pine Smoothie (29 QAR / ≈ €7), and Chicken Karaage (45 QAR / ≈ €11). The environment is very nice and comfortable. And there’s a call button on each table — when you press it, a waiter comes right away, which is really convenient. The food tasted great — flavorful and freshly made. For the two of us, the portions were actually a bit too much, so it’s quite filling. The staff were friendly and attentive, offering decent and polite service. Overall, a pleasant dining experience that we would recommend.

The Asian food here is delicious. I ordered the beef ramen, and both the soup and the beef had a great flavor. The beef wasn’t fully well done, but I didn’t mind it still tasted really good. I sat in the outdoor area, and it took a few minutes for the staff to come and take my order even after I pressed the button on the table. The restaurant’s design is beautiful and well thought out.

As a big fan of Lebanese cuisine, I was excited to try this place, especially since it came highly recommended by friends. However, on the day of our visit, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. While the presentation was nice, the taste felt very average and didn't stand out compared to other Lebanese restaurants I've tried. For the price we paid (around 100 QAR per person), I expected more in terms of flavor and quality. I ordered the Shawarma Meat Finger and a fresh Ayran drink. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the shawarma as much because I found a lot of inedible pieces inside the sandwich. On the other hand, the Ayran was very refreshing and tasted so fresh, it really felt like it came straight from the farm. The service was okay, and I liked the ambience, though I felt it was missing a small touch of light background music to make the atmosphere more pleasant.

We thought of trying baladna so many times, living in Pearl it was a must try. The food was excellent and service very good. We tried the Hummus with lamb, babagaboush, with the warm bread, Falafel which was really tasty one of the best we had so far. Then took the mixed grill and chicken shawarma all delicious. We finally tried Karak tea which was nice as well. A must try for traditional cuisine. We enjoyed it.

Had the chance to try the breakfast platter. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, not very crowded although people kept pouring. The servers were attentive and courteous. The food was...meh! Nothing out of the ordinary. I would still prefer Mado's breakfast platter over this one. The plus point was the serving size of the side dishes. The negative point is not enough variety of food like bread (just two regular types). Would I go again for breakfast... No.

One of the worst restaurants ever. This is the 2nd time i order from there and both times the order comes with missing items. The taste is sooo bad and plasticy. Also 20 mins after i finished the sandwich i started to feel very ill !

Falafil sandwich is good. Akawi 8 sandwiches very tasty but quite challenging to eat, quboos is not strong enough to hold the filling, tahina spilling.

There is no dine-in. Their falafel are very tasty. We tried the falafel sandwich, the portion is small, but it's good if you are not very hungry. Otherwise, get 2 sandwiches. It's a very affordable place.

This establishment quality is degrading step by step, that a vegetable platter now has only lettuce, bit of parsley, cucumber and tomato no chili pepper, no onion and the bread switched from being great to stale tasting, too bad as this was one of the favorites in doha, not so much anymore, quality is out the window

The tall guy is very accommodating i did not see his name badge and the chef as well, giving us more options, so the service for me is 90% because I’m waiting that they will introduce ask with their buffet menu and all, so we need to ask which is which but still okey all are doing their job in nicely manner, we came in late dinner thats why mostly of their food already dry but still i enjoy the meal a lot of dish choices although almost all container is little empty 😉, cucumber juice is too sweet and i cant taste the cucumber but the waiter he said only cucumber juice is fresh and rest is concentrated but still i enjoy the sweetness of the juice i like sweet after all. Nice experience, The ambiance and concept is amazing, interior was good, the arrangement of the buffet is classy i just don’t like the light its too deemed 😊the waiter is humbly informing as about the closing which is good, his approach is affectionately perfect 😉. The only Moroccan restaurant I’ve tried in Doha and it was very nice. They don’t have many options in their menu, unless you want to have grilled meat which you can find anywhere else. Their tajine were delicious, it comes with the traditional Moroccan bread which was great too. Their msammen was a bit dry but it was still nice along with the tea.

We accidently found this place at Qanat Quartier. I personally have never tried Moroccan cuisine but my husband has. We ordered the Casablanca Tajjine and the Fish Tajjine. The Csablanca Tajjine was amazing, the taste is so unique and delicious. It's a must try. The fish Tajjine was good, not as good as the Casablanca but very high quality. Definitely recommend this place. Great service and ambience.

The chicharon bulaklak, however, tasted like oil. My daughter said eating it feels like drinking cooking oil- it was soggy and oily, like its been left in the deep fryer for more than a day. I can say that it is family-friendly since they have high chairs for babies and toddlers, but not so when the videoke is on. The atmosphere is so Pinas, the big Whang-Od wallpaper at the 1st floor is catchy, although it really doesn't fit the whole theme of pares - gotong batangas menu. The cashier that day seems so tired, she didn't even smile when I said thank you. I paid lecheflan for take out but they didn't give it to me, and I was in a hurry to even remember to take it, I paid for it but forgot to ask for it, so yes, partly my fault. 😂
