Discover the vibrant atmosphere of Souq Waqif, a bustling market in Doha that offers a glimpse into traditional Arabian culture. Renovated to capture the essence of authentic souqs found in cities like Aleppo and Damascus, this open-air street market is filled with narrow alleys where merchants trade perfumes, handicrafts, jewelry, weavings, and silverware.
A vibrant and fascinating destination in the heart of Doha. This place offers a wide variety of goods that are sure to catch the interest of any tourist. From traditional souvenirs to unique local items, there's something for everyone. The area is also known for its numerous gold and perfume shops, perfect for those looking to take home something special. I had the chance to try several restaurants here — each offering delicious food and a taste of local flavor
Honey — Google review
One of the most distinctive and vibrant markets in the Gulf region. A must-visit destination that blends tradition, flavor, and atmosphere in a truly special way. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Authentic charm: The souq preserves traditional architecture and cultural spirit while offering a modern, welcoming experience. • Delicious food: Restaurants serve a wide variety of tasty dishes, from local Qatari cuisine to international options. • Beautiful seating areas: Outdoor and indoor seating is comfortable and atmospheric—perfect for relaxing with friends or family. • Lively at all hours: The market stays busy even late at night, which is rare in the Gulf. This adds to its energy and appeal. • No downsides: My experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

What a place I never seen such a nice out of place. Neat and clean huge with lots of shops. Lots of restaurants a lot of good vibes around you can spend the whole day over there have a lot of different kinds of food, sweets tea coffee drinks you name it you can find it and you can find All kinds of different prices and you can enjoy their anything that you are thinking of having a nice environment. Look at my pictures and you will definitely go there.
Aamir M — Google review
It's traditional market in center of Doha, but it's already become tourist attraction. Many cafes and restaurants with traditional buildings inside the market. It's nice to come here at night, not to hot and very attractive lamp decoration.
Lisa S — Google review
Loved strolling Souq Waqif! May it be night or day, still equally a memorable experience. They have a lot of great finds such as souvenirs, clothes, scarfs, perfumes etc. Streets and foot traffic tend to be very busy on the weekends. Great experience overall.
April A — Google review
Compared to other Arab countries, the business atmosphere here is much less pushy, which is nice. Tourists can visit with peace of mind. At night, the area was packed with both locals and visitors, but it’s a great place to soak in the atmosphere and look for some souvenirs.
Ac U — Google review
Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar, is a renovated traditional market that masterfully blends historical Bedouin heritage with modern amenities. Originally a century-old trading hub, it features winding alleys with stalls selling spices, crafts, textiles, pearls, and even live animals like falcons, evoking authentic Qatari culture. Modern touches include air-conditioned paths, upscale boutiques, international restaurants offering diverse cuisines, art galleries, boutique hotels, and evening entertainment like live music and shisha spots. The vibrant, welcoming atmosphere makes it a social hub for locals and tourists. Underground parking available.
Feedback F — Google review
One of the most dense and vibrant markets I've been to. Located close to many of the top attractions, Souq Waqif is a must when visiting Doha. Here you can find pretty much everything and also you can train your bargaining skills. And when that's done, you have to stop and visit the many restaurants nearby.

Hot pot is a delightful culinary experience that traces its origins back over a millennium to the Mongolian horsemen who ingeniously used their helmets as makeshift pots for simmering broth and meat while on the move. This communal dining style has since journeyed across Asia, finding its way into the hearts of food lovers in countries like Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand. Today, hot pot remains an affordable and enjoyable option for those seeking delicious meals with friends or family.
By chance I ordered , it's very tasty food with reasonable price. Keep it up

Pros: Friendly staff and cheap Indian food. Not really crowded unlike most Indian Bakalas. Cons: Not well sanitized toilet and limited parking space. They also speak little English or Arabic. So you need to adjust to communicate with their waiters. Recommended: Try ordering their mumus their delicious for 10 Qar.

We visited Little Sailor Restaurant today for lunch, and it was an incredible experience! The grilled fish and seafood platter we ordered were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the Majboose, which was rich and savory, complementing the seafood perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we highly recommend Little Sailor for anyone craving great seafood and excellent service in Qatar. We'll definitely be back!

Staff was good, service was nice. Atmosphere is well. I had tom yum soup, it had neither lemongrass taste or lime leaves taste .... nothing... not spicy at all. maybe i should have had thai food in thai restaurant. Seafood platter: seafood doesnt have that ocean smell and taste, maybe its all farmed or not fresh.

The grill items in the menu were great, but stay away from anything bechamel on the menu. The sauce was bad, bland, and they used canned mushrooms. Apart from that, Very responsive and polite waiting staff. Will go back for the flavour filled tasty fish grills!

The seafood restaurant offered a delicious meal. The soup was particularly enjoyable, with perfectly cooked and delicious accompaniments. The highlight Shaari fish with coconut curry sauce along with soup, which made for a fantastic starter. Overall, a great place for a memorable seafood experience.

Jasmine Thai Restaurant in Souq Waqif is a popular dining spot known for its amazing Thai cuisine. The ambiance is delightful, and the service is prompt and efficient. The portions are generous, and the dishes are bursting with flavors. It's highly recommended to try their tea, jasmine rice, phad thai, papaya salad, and tom yum soup. The average cost for two people is around QAR200.
I have been a regular customer at Jasmine Thai, and I can confidently say that the food and service are outstanding every time! My go-to dishes are the Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Rolls, and the Thai Milk Tea– and they never disappoint. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the quality of ingredients always shines through. What really sets Jasmine Thai apart is the impeccable customer service. The staff is incredibly attentive and always remembers my usual order, which makes the dining experience feel even more personal and welcoming. I highly recommend Jasmine Thai to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine with superb service!

The staff are incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a warm smile and making you feel welcome. The atmosphere is fantastic—it even reminds me of Thailand! The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, with generous portions that make every meal satisfying. A great experience all around!

I ordered the Cashew Chicken and liked it overall, though I noticed the cashew was a bit overcooked. Aside from that, the dish was tasty and enjoyable. The service was nice and the staff were friendly, which added to the experience. I also liked the ambience — it was pleasant, though I think a soft touch of background music would make it even better.

Staff were kind and the Thai food was delicious with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The cozy ambience at Souq Waqif made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Listen to me: ROASTED DUCK WITH RED CURRY is-a-must-try✅✅✅✅ Absolutely delicious! The duck was incredibly tender, soft, and flavorful. The curry sauce? Wow—rich, thick, and packed with bold spices. It left a warm, comforting aftertaste. So, so good!! For just 58 QAR, it also came with jasmine rice. The service was super friendly and fast. Honestly, Jasmine Thai serves the best Thai food in Qatar. Highly recommended!
Wirasakti S — Google review
Delicious Thai food. Came here for dinner and I was totally satisfied by the food and portions. The menu has so many items to choose from and the prices are decent. Staff were very kind with us, and gave us nice recommendations.

My family and I have been coming here for a few years now. The food never disappoints! My favorite is their egg noodles with duck, the ice tea is amazing and dim sum as well. The staff is welcoming and really appreciate how they always remember us. :) The only wish I have is that the restaurant has a terrace or something similar, so in days the weather is nice there is an option to sit outdoors.

It was a recommendation from a friend to try Japanese Ramen, hence I decided to try and it was a good experience. I like the food and it is the first time for me. I may need to try Ramen in Japan to know and evaluate correctly, however I enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is great and the staff are amazing.

One of the best ramen spots in Qatar! My go-to order is the Tantan-Men Ramen with spicy green onions — it's absolutely delicious and always hits the spot. Ramen here is my ultimate comfort food. The staff are always kind, attentive, and very accommodating. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely keep coming back. 🫶🏻💖

Amazing place, we were at a stop-over in Doha for 4 days and we ate here 2 times. We tried Naruto Ramen, i had my own ramen made, the onigiri is worth mentioning and lastly the Karaage ( the fried chicken if i misspelled ). Kinza citrus is also really nice i recommend you try it.
Ruveyda P — Google review
Went here with a small group of friends, unfortunately they were out of stock of plenty of items (Shoyu & Miso). So went for the Shio ramen 🍜 first impression, the portion size was amazing, the broth was good as well, noodles were just about okay. Overall the rest of the ingredients and the whole package was good quality but quite average in terms of flavor. If you're looking for a quick, warm and filling ramen spot, this is it, if you're looking for the ramen "experience" it falls short of it.
Nikoloz G — Google review
I love the place very calm and clean and their Naruto Ramin is the best , everytime I’m craving for Ramin I go there , big thanks to Ali he is very serviable and kind
Imene O — Google review
This has to be one of the most satisfying bowls of ramen I've had outside of Japan. I opted for their signature Spicy Tantanmen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was the star of the show. It had a creamy, rich texture with a deep nutty flavor that perfectly balanced the spicy chili oil.
Ammu B — Google review
Just went there and ordered a ramen for take away, Paid 38 riyals. When i reached home and i saw, It was nothing like in picture. It was misssing condiments no eggs. Just two slice of chiken mortadella soaked in some sweet sauce. I should have just bought 3 riyals instant ramen from store instead. You go to fancy restaurant and of course you expect fancy stuff. Alas it was very disappointing. What did i pay 38 riyals for?

A friend recommended this place for their korean bbq! Unfortunately, it wasn’t available for Ramadan, so we had the Iftar buffet. But they had a variety of options for it and the food tasted good! The staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely come back. A good choice for affordable and good food!

We came on a weekday night so there were a lot of tables available. We had the basic hotpot buffet priced at 149 / person. We enjoyed the food, ambience and music, too. Service was excellent. Toilet was very clean with good interiors...5 stars for the toilet.

The food was delicious, just way you need when you look for a home cooked Asian meal. The staff were lovely and friendly. I just wish they offer chilly oil in the table as complimentary item.
Hady A — Google review
We had a great dinner here. Staff were very accommodating. When they found out that it was our first time dining there, they helped us cook. They were also very helpful and patient in finding the right order for us. We ended up with a Korean BBQ set for 2 for 700 grams. If you are not that hungry or on diet, this is a perfect meal! We loved it and will be going back to try more on their menu. They were also attentive to our needs!
Meg M — Google review
A small group of us went for lunch buffet, had the hot pot and Korean grill. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was fast and friendly. I would recommend coming here with a group to enjoy the grill and hot pot experience with good food with a reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back.
Brad W — Google review
Had a wonderful experience eating lunch here. The food was amazing, you could taste the freshness of every ingredient. The staff was very attentive to our needs, especially "Drei" He had asked us if this was our first time experiencing their hotpot, and when he said yes, he gave us a pretty good point to enjoy the food more. He was even kind enough to make us a different type of sauce. I would say it was a fun experience. I will definitely come back again. Kudos. 👏

Paul is a delightful breakfast spot that offers a range of vegetarian options, making it an excellent choice for those looking to start their day on a healthy note. While some breakfast dishes can be on the pricier side, with costs reaching around 40-50 QAR each, they do provide more affordable breakfast sets that are worth considering. The atmosphere is simply stunning; imagine enjoying your meal by the sea while being treated to exceptional service from friendly staff like Mr.
I visit Paul restaurant every Saturday for breakfast, and it’s always an excellent experience. The place is quiet and perfect for starting the weekend peacefully. The French breakfast is absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The service is professional, and the ambiance makes it feel like a cozy escape. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality breakfast
Hammami M — Google review
Dining at Paul is always a delightful experience, and it consistently delivers on both taste and atmosphere. One of the charming highlights of any visit is the complimentary bread basket, served with butter and olives. The bread is fresh, warm, and perfectly crusty—an inviting way to begin the meal that sets the tone for what’s to come. But for me, the real star of the menu is their French onion soup. Every time I visit Paul, this dish is my top priority. Rich, flavorful, and deeply comforting, the soup is topped with a generous layer of melted cheese and accompanied by crusty bread that soaks up the broth beautifully. It’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the art of classic French cooking. While I occasionally explore other menu items, I always find myself coming back to that signature bowl of soup. It’s not just a meal—it’s a tradition. The ambiance at Paul is elegant yet cozy, and the service is typically attentive and welcoming. The only reason for the 4.5 stars instead of a full 5 is the occasional inconsistency in serving time, but overall, it’s one of my favorite go-to spots.

I was pleasantly surprised how amazing this place is. The food here tastes homemade and organic. I ordered the Halloumi Pesto Quinoa and i am speechless right now. I came out of the restaurant running to write this review because I love this place so much. The service is also amazing. Their coffee was so good too!
Zewdi R — Google review
Good food for a fair price. The service is top level! Really enjoyed it.
Frederik E — Google review
I never imagined I would see basmati rice in a poke bowl, but Paul has proven me wrong. Unfortunately, this “creative twist” turned out less innovative and more of a misunderstanding of what a poke bowl actually is. Poke is Hawaiian with Japanese influence, where the rice base is crucial—sushi rice brings balance, while basmati brings… well, something entirely different. The natural aroma and texture of basmati completely clashed with the dish, making it taste rather unpleasant. I ordered a Japanese-inspired dish, not a culinary detour to India, and the result felt less like creativity and more like a shortcut—quite disrespectful to the origins of the dish. Plus the menu uses the term of “mixed rice” which is very unclear, and misleading! Whoever came up with the decision to use basmati rice in a poke bowl might want to reconsider their career as a chef, because this was simply not a professional presentation of the dish. I ended up returning it.
Hamachi N — Google review
I am usually a fan of Paul restaurants, I visit several of his branches and they are all fine. My low review now for the branch of the Pearl is simply an advise to correct issues that are not regularly present in his reputed and professional branches. 1. The air conditioning is not working in most of the restaurant and you can easily sweat while sitting, people were waiting for the corner tables to get cleared so they could move to the less heated tables. 2. At 9h30 am, not having a regular cheese croissant available, should not be an option for answering customers, since it is not too early to be baked, and not too late to be sold out. It was simply removed of today list of baking.. 3. The almond croissant had overcooked crust, but hard paste inside, suggesting it was rapidly cooked.. Hopefully I'll be visiting again and correcting my review. Regards,
NIJAD M — Google review
Probably the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I asked them to remake it because there was absolutely no coffee flavor. Even after they added two shots, it still tasted like warm milk with nothing in it. If this is their idea of a cappuccino, I’d rather pass

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque Qanat Quartier of The Pearl Doha, Viva Mexico is a vibrant Mexican restaurant that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. With its lively decor reminiscent of Latin America, this eatery offers a delightful menu filled with superfoods and vegetarian options. Guests can indulge in classic dishes like tacos, nachos, burritos, and an array of appetizers crafted from authentic Mexican ingredients.
A hidden gem in the pearl island, authentic Mexican restaurant that really transports you to Mexico. First, we got complementary chips and salsa 5/5: homemade chips and roasted salsa, can't get any better. We ordered ceviche 5/5: fresh, limy, flavourful. Viva Mexico salad 3/5: fresh fruit and crisp greens but needed more cheese and nuts. Empanadas 4/5: love the flavors but the portion was small. Shrimp baja tacos 3/5: full of cabbage we couldn't enjoy other flavors. Birria tacos 4/5: great flavors and came with dipping sauces, love them. Chicken molcajetes 4/5: came with sides ( rice, chillies, flour tortillas ) and served hot in a stone pot. Great and unique flavors. For dessert churros 4/5: freshly prepared and tasted good. Tres leches cake 4/5: i loved it as it's not too sweet but I didn't like the extra soaking milk. For the drinks mango daiquiri 3/5: tasted like blended canned mango. Jamaica 4/5: sweetened hibiscus ice tea but too concentrated for my taste. Margarita 4/5: a bit limy but was good. Pina colada 5/5: best Pina colada we ever tried, creamy yet refreshing. Overall, it felt like a trip to Mexico with all the flavors and the friendly service, especially Isra who made sure we had a pleasant meal. My only issue was the small portions, but that was ok since I'm having an authentic meal. I totally recommend this place and would love to come back for more.

This is a very nice mexican restaurant with tasty traditional food. Everything was very tasty, I liked my takitos very much, the queso fundido was also nice and my friends gave great feedback about the rest. My margarita was well balanced and the glass it came in is simply wonderful. The sangria was very good too. Overall, the decor, the food and the music were creating an amazing vibe. I would come again! The staff was also very friendly.

Had another fantastic experience at Vivo Maxicu N! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with lively decor and friendly staff ensuring a great dining experience throughout. We indulged in the Red Enchiladas, which were bursting with authentic flavors, and the Viva Special Nachos—undoubtedly some of the best nachos we've had, loaded with fresh toppings and delicious guacamole. The drinks were another highlight—one made with fresh strawberry and another classic piña colada, both expertly crafted and refreshing. Every element of the evening, from the service to the presentation and taste, surpassed expectations. Highly recommended for anyone craving excellent Mexican cuisine and creative drinks!

If you want to enjoy authentic Mexican food and atmosphere, this is the place! As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by vibrant colors and fun decorations like the famous Mexican skulls and dolls such a visual treat. They even have Mexican hats for taking photos! Most of the staff seem to be from Mexico and when we couldn’t decide what to order, Mr. Isra kindly brought us a photo menu and explained each dish. We tried the shrimp Molcajete for the first time, the shrimp were super plump and the combo with melted cheese was amazing. It made me want to try even more Mexican dishes! I’ll definitely be back soon.

Dining at Viva Mexico Restaurant in The Pearl was a truly enjoyable experience, made even better by the excellent service from Diego. From the moment we were seated, Diego impressed us with his professionalism, clean and tidy appearance, and genuine warmth. His recommendations were spot on from flavorful starters to satisfying main courses making the whole process easy and fun, especially when dining with friends. Diego’s helpful and attentive service made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. His passion for what he does really shines through, and it added a personal touch that made our visit even more special. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food and top-notch service, I highly recommend dining at Viva Mexico and asking for Diego 👌😋 he’ll make sure your experience is memorable!

Good atmosphere located in a beautiful part of Qatar. Food was hit and miss, some of the dishes were fantastic, the tacos were great as was the nachos, however the burrito and chimichanga was not as good in my opinion. Mojitos were good and I’d say slightly overpriced given the food but overall a good spot and I would go again but adjust my order

Busaba Bangkok Thai in Doha is a vibrant and modern eatery that reimagines traditional Thai flavors with a contemporary twist. Nestled within the bustling Mirqab Mall, this restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere perfect for both casual meals and special celebrations. The menu is a delightful journey through Thailand's culinary landscape, featuring everything from rich curries to inventive stir-fries, all crafted with fresh ingredients and authentic spices.
Came in for a quick meal during work. Plenty of interesting menu items, and leans heavily on what you expect from a good Thai restaurant. I had the chili beef rice bowl, which was delicious and had a generous portion for one person. Spice was medium, not bad at all. Thai milk tea was a bit too sweet but still decent. The service was quick and lovely, and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Would come here again if I get a craving for Thai food!

It was nice of them to have vegan options on their menu. Good for our vegan peeps 👍😊 Love the sauce on the salmon btw 😋
Ares T — Google review
My fave pad thai and chili beef rice place, the taste of both dishes are consistent ever since. They banana fritters is also good. My feedback today would be for the mango sticky rice. I was it got crispies on top but the rice is too soft and do not have the authentic texture like a perfectly cooked glutinous rice. Would also nice if it has more scent from the coconut or pandan leaves or from how it smells in thailand. But this feedback is hoping that they can re invent to make their mango sticky rice better. We paid using urband point, total bill is QAR 79 for two excluding of beverages because we brought our own water.

Malaysian restaurant
Mama Rozie Restaurant is a cozy spot in Mansoura that offers a delightful mix of Indonesian, Malaysian, and Filipino cuisine. The menu features dishes like nasi goreng and Filipino chicken skewers at budget-friendly prices. The restaurant has received recognition for its spectacular food and affordability. Despite its small size, the place exudes warmth and resilience, evident in their delicious offerings even during challenging times. Guests have praised the spicy tofu for its perfect balance of heat and texture.
Very delicious. Sangat sedap. لذيذ مرة! This is as authentic as it can be for Malaysian/Indonesian food. Felt like home. Had the Nasi Ayam Penyet and every piece of it was delicious. The sambal is spicy, the chicken is properly penyet, the tempeh is crispy. Cooked to perfection. Paired this with Milo Panas (Hot Milo). Super sweet not to my liking, but I kid you not this is how it is in Malaysia. If you’re craving for south east asian food in Doha, this is the place to be. Don’t know what to eat and feeling adventurous, this is also the place to be. Recommended and will come back.

Their Ice Teh Tarik also good, same as Kedai Mamak in KL✅ Definitely a-must-to-go Indonesian restaurant in Doha! I think the owner is either truly Malaysian or Indonesian. Zuma Doha is a highly anticipated addition to the city's dining scene, offering an exceptional experience that exceeds all expectations. The restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere with warm and friendly staff, setting the tone for a memorable evening. Its stunning ambiance features stylish interior design with contemporary yet elegant touches, creating an inviting and sophisticated space.
One of the best Zuma locations I’ve visited. Despite having an early dinner, the restaurant already had a lively atmosphere. The food was excellent and, as always with Zuma, consistently high in quality. The service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, especially when it came to dietary intolerances, which was handled with care and professionalism. The sommelier also gave thoughtful and helpful recommendations that really enhanced the meal. The space itself is beautiful and spacious, especially the outdoor area that offers a stunning sea view. A great dining experience overall.
Dana D — Google review
The place is beautiful, the seating is comfortable, and the view is truly amazing. The food tastes good, but the portions are small compared to the price. What surprised me most was that a bottle of water costs 40 QAR (around $10), which is quite overpriced. A nice experience in terms of ambiance, but I wouldn’t repeat it.
Abdullah A — Google review
The restaurant was quite spacious and since there was a terrace, I chose to sit outside. The view was great and of course, with air conditioning, it was very relaxing. The host and staff didn’t seem very friendly. The only Asian staff member was always smiling and very welcoming. The interior and decor had a Japanese touch but since the concept was an izakaya, I felt it could have given off a more casual Japanese izakaya atmosphere. For the starter, I ordered the fried squid which was well seasoned with spices and very tasty. The main dish salmon teriyaki was perfectly cooked—moist and tender. For dessert, I went with the pecan pie sundae. The presentation was eye-catching and the caramel-based flavor really stood out. What bothered me was that the table felt a bit sticky making it hard to lift the teapot and cups. Also, the food was quite expensive for the portion size and the service left something to be desired. That said, the taste of the food was absolutely perfect.
Lamiya — Google review
I had a wonderful dining experience at Zuma! The standout dishes for me were the crab salad and the steak – both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The presentation was beautiful, and the quality of ingredients really showed. The atmosphere is stylish and the service was top-notch. Definitely a place worth visiting!
Leena T — Google review
Good, and *stunningly* expensive The food is good, occasionally great, and almost always acceptable. (The miso-glazed cod, tho, is Stunning) The wine / sake list is even better, and the views are stunning. And the prices are, well, wow So, let your wallet be the judge!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Zuma Doha delivered an excellent evening — from the atmosphere to the service, everything was spot on. Our host, Shobman (forgive me if I’ve spelled that wrong), and the night manager were both incredibly attentive and made the experience feel personal and seamless. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the spicy corn — it used to be a favourite dish of mine, but this time it was unexpectedly spicy and not the way I remember it. Aside from that, the food, service, and overall vibe were outstanding. I’ll definitely be back.

Indulge in traditional favorites like steaming bowls of beef pho, accompanied by fresh herbs and zesty lime, or savor the crispy goodness of fried chicken and shrimp rolls.
It was my first time to try Vietnamese food in Doha and it did not disappoint. The food was really good and very tasty. I enjoyed the grilled chicken the most. Would definitely come back and try other food on their menu. 👌🏽 Also, the staff are very friendly and polite.

It was a tiny place and my first time to try the Pho and it was bland for me but I like the simplicity of the dish. The staff were very helpful and they still have that “Wear Something Pink “ every Sunday for a free Strawberry Mojito. The restaurant has this distinctive scent so maybe an air purifier can help remove it. The prices were not cheap but as a specialty restaurant it’s fine. Overall it was a good experience.

The menu is various with many kind of Vietnamese traditional foods. I love Chicken Pho then i visited 2 times, same order. And it was really satisfied me. The taste of soup is very good & unforgettable. My family also tried Banh Cuon & Banh Xeo those are good items in Hoi An's menu. I rated 5/5 for the foods. The service is good with Vietnamese & Pakistan waiters. Miss Phuong is Vietnamese & engaged of introducing us more about the material of VN foods. Service is worth for getting 5/5. The decoration is nice with many lantern that made me remember Hoi An where i visited several time. Took away spicy lemongrass beef pho to satiate my appetite for the cold weather. Everything was packed neat in separate containers with necessary cutlery. After assembling everything together I felt a chef. The pho had a hearty soup, combined with the soft noodles it was soothing. Felt the beef was quite dry and a bit chewy, hence couldn’t finish all of it. Ambience was lovely with close resemblance to restaurants at Vietnam.

To be honest, I didn't like that much Chinese food until I have tasted Great Wall Chinese food, but, their specialities are amazing and so so many. You can easily get lost in the menu and they always have everything it is posted in the menu. The restaurant itself is full of Chinese handcrafted work of art and everything is thought into the last detail to portray the Chinese art all over the restaurant. The advantage of the area where the restaurant is located is that you can always find a place to park. Something that I think the restaurant should do to improve its overall outlook is to undergo renovations to be up to the standards. Nevertheless, I think it's a nice visual and exceptional culinary experience.

Visited this restaurant around 5 pm on a weekend. Parking was a challenge, with limited spaces. The initial strong smell from the open kitchen took some getting used to, but once seated, it became less noticeable. Despite the emptiness, the food was delicious—loved every dish we ordered. The iced tea was a standout. Despite the parking hassle and initial aroma, I'd definitely return for the delectable menu.

Flavor: sweet + savory + some umami, nicely balanced; mild for those less used to spicy food. tender, easy to chew, for chicken lover you must try this. I have other dishes but this what i like the most

I have been there multiple times within the last year and all the people i brought along with me have enjoyed the food thus far. It seems to be authentic Korean food which tastes absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, it’s in a bad location which makes it seem like a very ordinary place but the food there is top tier and it has a simple and quiet environment which is just what i enjoy. ps. large portions. i do encourage you, as a customer, to bring a couple more people with you so that you could finish it. take away is also an option but certain things aren’t packaged safely so it’s best to eat in the restaurant.

Shanghai Memory is a delightful gem nestled within the Al Safa Royal Suites, offering an authentic taste of traditional Chinese cuisine that will transport you back to your culinary adventures in China. The restaurant is particularly renowned for its mouthwatering dumplings and flavorful beef dishes, ensuring that every bite leaves you with fond memories. For those seeking a unique dining experience, Shanghai Memory also features a hot pot menu starting at QR68, with options ranging from a soothing clear broth to the fiery Sichuan variety.
Excellent services! Delicious food! Great environment! Feel lucky to find this restaurant! We don’t take beef, I forgot to clarify with the waitress if beef contained in the dish until after I ordered the food. The waitress reminded us the mushroom dish contains beef and she took away without charging us! Thumbs up for her detailed service! This resto is now my top list for the Chinese food!!

I used to go periodically to eat and my go to order was the szechuan beef. Last time I was there the beef looked different and the taste was also different, like they changed the method of cooking or maybe the type of beef, but it looked like a very light-colored piece of rubber. Even generally, from the past years I’ve noticed a drop in quality, which does not help justify the increase in prices.
Leena M — Google review
2022 update: food is still as good, as with quality of the dishes, but the prices are 10-30qar more expensive than before! Not sure if FIFA and the hotel lease forces the price increase, but it makes other places like 3peppers and dragon restaurant a much better place to have (mainland) Chinese food! 2019: Great consistent food.

As a Chinese , I really suggest this restaurant for home dishes . My fav is actually not in the pictures that I shared here . It is dumplings . Like the cold appetizer , sea weed with chili oil as well . 😋 Anyway , for Arab , I believe lamb chops will be the good option . 😍

If you're looking for some authentic Chinese food in Doha, this is your place to go. My favourite is the dumplings dish. Ramen restaurant
RAMEN RESTAURANT is a delightful culinary haven that showcases an array of ramen varieties, each boasting unique flavor profiles. From the rich umami of miso to the tangy notes of shoyu, there's something for every palate. The atmosphere blends Korean and Japanese influences, creating a cozy spot perfect for dining or working by large windows. While service can occasionally be slow—especially with new staff—the food remains consistently delicious, making it worth the wait.
The food is fabulous, delicious and exactly what we craved for. Served hot, on time and we savored it all. We also got some complimentary cold treats—ice cream sandwiches and ice lollies. Just perfect to cool us down. The staff, Mr. Allan is very accommodating. He welcomed us right away, showed us our seat, handed the menu once we were settled and kept a friendly smile. He also offered a baby chair for our little one. This place stays on top of the best Ramen in town. Thank you for the best food and great service.

We had a wonderful experience at Ramen Restaurant. The location is easy to find, and our visit started off with a warm welcome from the staff. Allan, who assisted us, was very accommodating and attentive. We appreciated the complimentary Toppoki plate that comes with every order, along with the additional treats Allan kindly offered. The food is absolutely 10/10, enjoying authentic Korean cuisine. Overall, excellent service and a delightful dining experience.

Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

An Absolute Must-Try: Exceptional Ramen and Service in Msheireb! My recent visit to Ramen Restaurant in Msheireb, Doha, was truly outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, modern, and perfectly set for a great meal. The food was the star of the show. We started with the Fuziama Roll, which was incredibly fresh, skillfully prepared, and a vibrant burst of flavor—easily one of the best sushi rolls I’ve had recently. For the main event, the Saporo Ramen was exactly what we were hoping for. The broth was rich, savory, and deeply satisfying, and the noodles and toppings were cooked to perfection. It was pure comfort food elevated to a gourmet level. Beyond the delicious dishes, the service we received from Ms. Eyu made our evening truly memorable. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, checking in just at the right times. To top off an already fantastic experience, Ms. Eyu surprised us with complimentary ice cream at the end of our meal—a gesture of kindness that was genuinely appreciated and left us smiling as we left. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese cuisine in Doha coupled with truly excellent hospitality, make sure to visit this spot and ask for Ms. Eyu! Five stars all around.

We had such a great time dining here! The food was excellent — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. We were pleasantly surprised when they gave us free topokki and a complimentary ice cream, which made the experience even more special. A big thank you as well to Ms. Margarette, who was very accommodating and friendly throughout our meal. Her service made everything smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious food and warm hospitality. Definitely coming back!

We ordered the Ramen Special Jjambong (86 QAR / ≈ €21), a Mango Pine Smoothie (29 QAR / ≈ €7), and Chicken Karaage (45 QAR / ≈ €11). The environment is very nice and comfortable. And there’s a call button on each table — when you press it, a waiter comes right away, which is really convenient. The food tasted great — flavorful and freshly made. For the two of us, the portions were actually a bit too much, so it’s quite filling. The staff were friendly and attentive, offering decent and polite service. Overall, a pleasant dining experience that we would recommend.

The Asian food here is delicious. I ordered the beef ramen, and both the soup and the beef had a great flavor. The beef wasn’t fully well done, but I didn’t mind it still tasted really good. I sat in the outdoor area, and it took a few minutes for the staff to come and take my order even after I pressed the button on the table. The restaurant’s design is beautiful and well thought out.

Baladna Restaurant is a culinary gem nestled in the vibrant Pearl-Qatar, where fresh ingredients from the nearby Baladna Farm take center stage. This eatery beautifully marries traditional Middle Eastern flavors with contemporary flair, making it an ideal spot for both brunch and dinner. Start your day with a delightful Arabic breakfast featuring shakshuka, balaleet, and falafel or opt for their signature platter that boasts an impressive array of around 15 dishes—perfect for sharing among friends or family.
Among my visits to Qatar, this was the first time I went to a Lebanese restaurant. If you enjoy sweet-flavored dishes like I do, you should definitely give this restaurant a chance. We went there for breakfast, and the stuffed vine leaves with pomegranate and the pomegranate sauce were amazing. Especially the pomegranate sausage was an incredible recipe. I think the breakfast portion was too much, even for two people—we couldn’t finish it all. The cheese varieties were very fresh, and the olives had a perfectly balanced brine. I’m happy that we had such a delicious breakfast on the first day of Eid. We sat outside, but the interior design was also beautiful—spacious and smelled great. The restrooms were very clean. A special thanks to Mr. Zaher for his fast service and attentiveness. We will definitely come back!
Seçil G — Google review
The restaurant has a great atmosphere with an inviting interior, and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes. As a big fan of Lebanese cuisine, I was excited to try this place, especially since it came highly recommended by friends. However, on the day of our visit, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. While the presentation was nice, the taste felt very average and didn't stand out compared to other Lebanese restaurants I've tried. For the price we paid (around 100 QAR per person), I expected more in terms of flavor and quality. Overall, it's a decent spot with potential, but the food fell a bit short, especially given the cost. Ps. I didnt take all the photos, these are what I have on the phone

I ordered the Shawarma Meat Finger and a fresh Ayran drink. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the shawarma as much because I found a lot of inedible pieces inside the sandwich. On the other hand, the Ayran was very refreshing and tasted so fresh, it really felt like it came straight from the farm. The service was okay, and I liked the ambience, though I felt it was missing a small touch of light background music to make the atmosphere more pleasant.

We thought of trying baladna so many times, living in Pearl it was a must try. The food was excellent and service very good. We tried the Hummus with lamb, babagaboush, with the warm bread, Falafel which was really tasty one of the best we had so far. Then took the mixed grill and chicken shawarma all delicious. We finally tried Karak tea which was nice as well. A must try for traditional cuisine. We enjoyed it.

Had the chance to try the breakfast platter. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, not very crowded although people kept pouring. The servers were attentive and courteous. The food was...meh! Nothing out of the ordinary. I would still prefer Mado's breakfast platter over this one. The plus point was the serving size of the side dishes. The negative point is not enough variety of food like bread (just two regular types). Would I go again for breakfast... No.

Takeout Restaurant
Falafel Al-Akawi is a popular spot to grab some falafel, a beloved Middle Eastern and Levantine dish made from ground beans and chickpeas. These deep-fried balls or cutlets are vegan-friendly and can be found at street food stalls, restaurants, or local chains like Falafel Al-Akawi. The crispy snack is typically made with chickpeas, beans, garlic, coriander, parsley, and tahini.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Falafel Al Akawi, an Arabic hotel known for its delectable cuisine. From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly prepared dishes set the stage for an exceptional culinary experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their falafel fries and hummus. The falafel fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavor in every bite. Paired with their creamy, rich hummus, it was a match made in gastronomic heaven. Their wraps were another standout. Each wrap was generously filled with a variety of fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced in taste and texture. The authenticity of their food was evident in every dish I tried. The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of traditional Egyptian and Arabic delicacies. Whether you're craving mezze or wraps Falafel Al Akawi delivers with impressive quality and taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. They are warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for casual takeout meals. Falafel Al Akawi is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic and mouthwatering Arabic cuisine. Highly recommended!

The Shanghai Gardens at Al Saad holds a special place in our hearts as one of our family's favorite restaurants. The grand buffet offers a delightful fusion of cuisines that caters perfectly to both my husband and me, as well as our daughter. While he indulges in the Korean BBQ, relishing his role as the meat enthusiast, I find bliss in the exquisite sushi and sashimi selections. Our little one, on the other hand, delights in the hotpot, especially savoring the array of soups. Beyond these highlights, the menu boasts a abundance of options ranging from dim sum to noodles to seafood, including my personal favorite, the sizzling tofu. With drinks included, the variety extends to juices, iced tea, cola, and even slushies. Dessert options abound, featuring various fruits and cakes. This establishment is not only ideal for celebrations, such as our memorable Christmas and New Year's gatherings, but also perfect for satisfying cravings on any ordinary day. Highly recommended for those with hearty appetites, just like our family. ❤️

The tall guy is very accommodating i did not see his name badge and the chef as well, giving us more options, so the service for me is 90% because I’m waiting that they will introduce ask with their buffet menu and all, so we need to ask which is which but still okey all are doing their job in nicely manner, we came in late dinner thats why mostly of their food already dry but still i enjoy the meal a lot of dish choices although almost all container is little empty 😉, cucumber juice is too sweet and i cant taste the cucumber but the waiter he said only cucumber juice is fresh and rest is concentrated but still i enjoy the sweetness of the juice i like sweet after all. Nice experience, The ambiance and concept is amazing, interior was good, the arrangement of the buffet is classy i just don’t like the light its too deemed 😊the waiter is humbly informing as about the closing which is good, his approach is affectionately perfect 😉. I will still recommend because we came in late dinner so maybe during the opening all food was perfect,. All staff are good in approaching asking we still want more drinks is still available, dessert and sweets., Just try the experience as well. Im just happy with what i spend it’s worth it 😉

Customers have praised the mutton tagine with prunes for its tender and flavorful meat, served with delectable hot bread.
A taste of Morocco in Doha :) we started with a mutton tagine with prunes which was light, meat was very soft and tasty. It was served with hot bread which was delicious. We also tried the 4 cheese mssamen but the plain with honey on the side remains my favorite when paired with the morrocan tea. Bos Geo Pares Restaurant is a beloved dining spot in Qatar, particularly popular among the Filipino community. Known for its hearty Bulalo, featuring a generous piece of bone marrow and delightful toppings, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings. Recently, a group enjoyed a fellowship dinner with their impressive boodle package that included two types of rice, various meat cuts, grilled fish, vegetables, pancit, fried chicharróns, shrimp, and refreshing watermelon slices.

The food was good, it is mouth-watery and suits my cravings. The place is neat and clean. Just a bit of disappointment due to the crispy intestines and the grilled bone marrow, isn’t available. However, the experience is satisfying with their halo-halo, is a must try it’s sooo good! The next time I’ll come and visit the place, I’ll call ahead of time for the crispy intestines and bone marrow. They accept cash only.
Anne L — Google review
Bos Geo Pares Restaurant undoubtedly satisfies cravings with its mouthwatering street food offerings, cementing its reputation as one of the best street food destinations in the Philippines. The standout feature of Bos Geo Pares is the delectable flavors they bring to the table. From savory beef pares to flavorful garlic rice, their menu is a delightful journey through the heart of Filipino street cuisine. The food is cooked to perfection, and the generous servings ensure that you leave with a satisfied appetite. One notable perk is the option to request additional soup with no extra charge. This adds a comforting touch to the dining experience, especially for those who enjoy savoring every last bit of their meal. However, it's worth mentioning that Bos Geo Pares can be a bit pricey compared to typical street food vendors. While the quality justifies the cost for many, budget-conscious diners might find it a tad expensive. Lastly, a word of caution: street food, including pares, tends to be rich in fats and calories. So, while it's undeniably delicious, it's advisable to enjoy it in moderation. In summary, Bos Geo Pares Restaurant delivers on its promise of satisfying cravings with exceptional street food flavors. It's a treat for the taste buds, though one should be mindful of the indulgent nature of this cuisine and higher price point compared to traditional street vendors.

We went with the fam and ordered gotong batangas, pares and chicharon bulaklak. The gotong batangas and pares is really good, especially when the friendly server gave us extra pares sabaw. The chicharon bulaklak, however, tasted like oil. My daughter said eating it feels like drinking cooking oil- it was soggy and oily, like its been left in the deep fryer for more than a day. I can say that it is family-friendly since they have high chairs for babies and toddlers, but not so when the videoke is on. The atmosphere is so Pinas, the big Whang-Od wallpaper at the 1st floor is catchy, although it really doesn't fit the whole theme of pares - gotong batangas menu. The cashier that day seems so tired, she didn't even smile when I said thank you. I paid lecheflan for take out but they didn't give it to me, and I was in a hurry to even remember to take it, I paid for it but forgot to ask for it, so yes, partly my fault. 😂
