Restaurant
Shay Al Shomous, situated in a corner of Souq Waqif and owned by Shams Al Qassabi, offers a taste of authentic Qatari cuisine. The menu features traditional dishes like baid o tomate, baid shakshoka, aseeda, khobiz regag, macboush, and balaleet.
My always destination for breakfast in Doha. In love with places location, delicious food, and great service. Highly recommended for breakfast.
N T — Google review
This place truly lives up to its name. The walls are covered with photos of celebrities who have visited, and the food is bursting with flavor. I went for a quick lunch with my husband and enjoyed it so much that we came back with the boys a few days later. The owner is so warm and welcoming; she even remembered me and spoke with my children. It's a truly a family-friendly establishment.
Abeda K — Google review
I had breakfast here and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, with a traditional Qatari charm that makes the experience special. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — a perfect way to start the day. What really stood out was the owner, who is also the chef, personally going around to greet guests at their tables. It added such a warm and personal touch to the experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a genuine local breakfast in Doha.
Luca — Google review
Came here because of the Qatar Airlines series on the chef and really enjoyed the food! It’s authentic Qatari breakfast, good serving sizes, great prices, and a nice diverse menu. The service from the waiters is…interesting. They weren’t rude though. We enjoyed our food a lot though! Definitely recommend coming here.
Maria K — Google review
I ordered Regag Egg with cheese and Karak with saffron. I liked the Regag Egg, although it was a bit salty. The Karak was warm and nice, though it was made with condensed milk — I personally prefer fresh milk, but I was told they only have condensed milk. I liked the ambience and the pictures displayed on the walls. It’s only missing a light touch of music. Service was okay.
Ali H — Google review
The staff are great and very polite. They handle complaints professionally. Great food. Needs more lighting or flowers or something to draw attention to it. I came to Qatar over 13 times and passed by without noticing. Maybe more work on the exterior to draw customers. Like photos of what you serve. Stumbled to it by accident.
DE — Google review
I had the chance to stop by Shay Al Shomous for a late breakfast just before closing — and I truly regret not discovering this gem earlier. The traditional saj and regag breads were full of flavor, and the Karak tea was something out of One Thousand and One Nights — absolutely perfect. What made the visit even more special was meeting Mrs. Al Shomous herself. She was the sweetest elderly lady I met during my trip to Doha. Despite her age, she warmly welcomed my daughters and treated them like her own grandchildren. We were honored to take a few memorable photos with her. This spot will definitely be on top of my list for my next visit to Qatar.

We got the egg with sweet vermicelli and the egg and tomato regag. Both were delicious!

Restaurant
Saasna, which means "origins" in Arabic, is a contemporary Qatari fine dining restaurant offering traditional Qatari cuisine with a modern twist. Headed by Sheikha Ahmed Al Meer, the kitchen serves up innovative versions of classic Qatari dishes like barnioush fish with caramel sugar and fragrant smoked chicken with rice and cumin seeds. Located in downtown, the elegant and chic restaurant provides generous portion sizes.
The food was amazing. The flavour profile was spot on. However, the service can be a bit slow and weird - for example our drinks were only served when our main came, which was at least 30 minutes after we ordered, so we basically sat there feeling thirsty for a long time..
Vivian — Google review
The atmosphere of this restaurant is really nice. The food portions were huge so I’m pretty satisfied. Musharib has great access so it’s super convenient to get anywhere from here.
Lamiya — Google review
Amazing food. I had the Hammour Majboos (Grouper). The taste was amazing and the portion size was enough for two people. The salads are amazing as well.
S H — Google review
Searched for Qatari restaurants in this area and decided on Saasna. Relatively quiet on Saturday. Delicious flavorful food, came in large portions. We had the chicken biryani and hammour majboos. We were also offered free dessert at the end, tasted like cold milk pudding.
Fui ( — Google review
We had a very good meal and overall great experience in this Michelin-recommended restaurant. We arrived late, at 3pm and were the last customers for lunch. The total check was about 70 euros for two people, we took a shared salad, some bred, 2 mains and 2 drinks.
Elena B — Google review
Great restaurant! Really enjoyed the business brunch with a great service from Hassan!!100% recommended if you want to have a nice Qatari food experience!
Lucia P — Google review
Has potential, but quality control is lacking. We were excited to try Sassna and ordered four dishes: Jereesh, Shrimp Soup, Keema with Yogurt, and an Onions & Tomatoes Salad. The Good: The core taste of the main dishes is promising. The Jereesh and Keema had a good, traditional flavor profile. The Bad: · Temperature: All the hot dishes were served only warm, almost cold. This really impacts the experience. · Seasoning: Everything was underseasoned and definitely needed more salt. · The Salad: This was the biggest letdown. It was just a bowl of raw onions with a few tomatoes and barely any lemon sauce. The ratio was way off, making it harsh and unpleasant. The foundation is good, but for the price, we expected better execution. Paying attention to serving food hot, proper seasoning, and balanced salads would make a huge difference.

CUT by Wolfgang Puck is a top Doha steak restaurant that distinguishes itself with its expert cuts of beef and locally sourced ingredients. It's well-known for its glamorous Oscar ceremony feedings, as well as its delicious pizza and pasta dishes. At night, you can feast on fish dishes cooked to perfection according to the day's catch.
What a beautiful resturant in a beautiful trendy hotel. If you are looking for USDA Prime meat you must try this place. My Medium cooked rib eye steak was juicy and tender. The chef come over and we had good chat about the meat. Beef tartar was delicious. Happy to have such a place in Doha. Will definitely go back. Their Friday brunch is waste of money and low class. Service slow slow. This place I will never go again
Mohanna N — Google review
We had a Friday outdoor brunch. Place is very nice yet it was almost empty which takes away from the whole brunch experience. Service is very good and staff extremely friendly, like the best in Doha; The food presentation is top notch and I enjoyed the starters the most. I was expecting a good steak for the main course especially this is the highlight of The Cut by Wolfgang; we got a variety of sea bream, Turkey and a small slow cooked roast-beef which were okay. I didn’t see the menu before booking which is my fault.
Houssam Z — Google review
I left this restaurant still hungry after eating there. The food is really pricey but but not wort the price when compared to other steakhouses in Doha. You can go elsewhere and spend half and have a better dinner. The restaurant itself looks nice and is located in a nice area but I was disappointed is the amount of food you receive for the price.
Wendell G — Google review
Very nice lunch experience. I went there with 2 coworkers and we tried the lunch menu. The price is great if you compare it with the a la carte menu. Just with the salad, which I asked as a starter, I think would have been enough as a meal plus some protein. In my case I went for the kale and quinoa salad and the taste was nice. We had the NY steak and also didn't disappoint us, some people would like bigger portions though. Desserts were just great. Would recommend the cheesecake that we all agreed was the jewl of the set.
Jairo L — Google review
Tried this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet where they can make your eggs to order, along with waffles and pancakes and such. Definitely one of the better hotel breakfast buffets. For lunch I had the weinerschnitzel veal cutlet, which was so perfectly crispy, along with a very tasty mac and cheese. For dinner I had a wagyu ribeye, which was cooked to perfection, along with a velvety, smooth and creamy mashed potatoes. Perfect companion to the steak. Their service was great as well.
Torki Z — Google review
During my stay in Doha I was lucky enough to have Lunch and Dinner at CUT by Wolfgang Puck at Mondrian Doha as it was situated within the hotel we stayed in. It's simple yet elegant in its decor. The staff were all amazing, both times I had Wayne attending to our tables. He gave us exceptional service. My Lunch meal was a Crispy Chicken Breast Sandwich with Garlic Aioli and served on a Brioche bun. I ordered a side of Tempura Onion Rings too, served with Ketchup (it seems to be a thing in Doha) as you know I can't resist that combo. The sandwhich and the onion rings were scrumptious, I enjoyed every single bite of it. Everyone else enjoyed their lunch too. On my second visit for dinner, it happened to be Thanksgiving, so they were serving a special dinner. We however, had our eyes set on the prawns. Grilled Jumbo Prawns with toasted Chilli Soy, Garlic, Ginger and Jasmine Rice. I washed this down with a Tequila Cocktail called "Pepino's way". It was a mix of Silver Patron, Basil, Japanese cucumber and lime. It was enjoyable wish it came in a tall glass. Would have loved to go back again but didn't have time. But highly recommended for food and service. #TheFoodMusketeer #TheFoodMusketeerDrinks #TheFoodMusketeerTravels #TFMDohaQatar #TFMCutDoha

Cut has a great happy hour deal. The bites are excellent, especially the eggplants. There is variety of drinks. Worth it! Nice outdoor sitting to enjoy while weather is fresh!
Michela T — Google review
I will really not recommend this restaurant again for another business meeting specifically if your going with clients or business partners.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Came for lunch yesterday for a business meeting, It’s our first time here with my boss and a business partner, we were speechless for the ambiance and such a nice place for a lunch meeting. Yet, we are really totally disappointed from the service down to the food… 1. One tall asian guy who took our order is rude kinda questioned how much more food we’d like to order as if we can’t afford it. It’s 2PM late to have lunch, of course we are hungry.🙄🙄🙄 2. They insist to remove the appetizers even we were still enjoying it, even we requested not too.. just so they can serve the main course.. Can’t we really not enjoy having everything we ordered in our table at this restaurant?? 3. Most of the food we ordered are salty, ribeye steaks, the sauce, beef sashimi and most of all my Boss order “Special Pasta by the Chef” he even complained to the waitress it’s salty. The food is not worth the price 4. Mocktails are too sour..definitely not worth the price! One staff was very sweet lady & humble thou. Overall, the service & food was terrible..👎🏻👎🏻

Restaurant
Jiwan Restaurant, also known as "The Perfect Pearl," is a culinary gem nestled on the fourth floor of Qatar's National Museum. The restaurant's interior, designed by Koichi Takada Architects, draws inspiration from the Inland Sea and Qatari Bedouin heritage. The mesmerizing ceiling features traditional fishing net-inspired designs adorned with over four million suspended pearl-like crystal beads.
September 2025: *Oh, where do I even begin? Jiwan is not just a restaurant—it’s an *experience*. Easily one of the finest fine-dining destinations I’ve had the pleasure of visiting anywhere in the world. Every element, down to the tiniest detail, was executed with precision and elegance.* From the moment we walked in, the service was flawless—gracious, professional, and intuitively attentive without being overbearing. And the food? *An absolute masterpiece.* Every dish was a work of art, both in flavor and presentation. The creativity and balance in every bite made it clear that this is a place where culinary passion meets innovation. Bonus: they offer a generous variety of vegan and vegetarian options that don’t compromise on taste or imagination. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance—sophisticated yet welcoming *And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better—the deconstructed baklava arrived like a grand finale at a fireworks show. Pure genius.* *Last, would be those wonderful drinks we had, I don't know how to describe them, but... It's a bomb of mixed tastes when you have them with the right dish. If you will ask for the price, the set menu we had cost 250 QR / person only. It's called*Tasting Menu*.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jiwan truly lives up to its name—“the perfect pearl” in the Qatari language. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the stunning decor that seamlessly blends modern elegance with cultural richness. The view overlooking the Doha waterfront is absolutely mesmerizing, especially as the sun sets and the city lights begin to sparkle. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause and soak in the moment. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the experience they were creating. We ordered the Assortment of Jiwan Mezze, which features seven of their most popular mezze dishes. Each one was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and we found ourselves delightfully full before we even reached dessert. We also enjoyed two mocktails, both refreshing and thoughtfully crafted. For dessert, we had the Jiwan baklava, which was divine—flaky, rich, and perfectly balanced. To our surprise, the staff brought out two additional small desserts on the house, a gesture that made the evening feel even more special. Jiwan isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the ambiance to the cuisine to the hospitality, everything was flawless. I’ll absolutely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Doha.
Ray Y — Google review
I would like to thank the wonderful staff at Jiwan Restaurant. Special thanks to Amal and Ghada for their warm welcome, genuine luxury service, and beautiful smiles from the moment we entered until the moment we left. Of course, such excellent staff are guided by perfect managers, thank you Mr. Sherif and Mr. Selvin for your great hospitality and leadership. We also cannot forget the hidden heroes, thank you to the chef and the kitchen team for the outstanding food. The quality, taste, presentation, and variety were truly beyond perfect. It was an unforgettable and perfect experience from start to finish. Thank you so much! 🤍
Mohamed Z — Google review
Located inside the National Qatar Museum, Jiwan is a must-visit in Doha. We had a one day layover and were so glad we came here, May 21st. The staff was so helpful with recommendations. We very much enjoyed the assortment of mezze and our dessert: date souffle. Beside the top notch dishes and service, the view is absolutely stunning. Try to arrive before sunset to experience both day and evening views from the terrace. Highly recommended.
Carl W — Google review
The food and service at Jiwan were truly above and beyond. Every dish was very wel prepared and beautifully presented, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A must-visit spot in Doha if you’re looking for a fine dining experience with stunning views and atmosphere.
Rusen — Google review
I finally tried it and it is surprisingly good. The whole experience is luxurious. The sealing has a very unique design which consists of 4000000 pearls. Jiwan means the perfect pearl that is very reflected in the place. We had the sharing mezza and it was very unique. The quality of the ingredients used was perfect. The service was attentive and knowledgable.
Maryam T — Google review
Visually, Jiwan is stunning, no doubt. The space is beautifully designed and practically begs for a photo op. Unfortunately, that's about where the magic stops. The service was a major letdown. When asked if I wanted sparkling or still water, I said "still," and somehow ended up with a £10-£15 bottle on my bill... twice. The waiter poured two glasses from one bottle and charged for two. Ridiculous. As for the food, the butter chicken and saffron rice were surprisingly bland. The chicken had skin on, which made eating it feel like a chore rather than a treat. It lacked both heat and depth of flavour. To be fair, the runners who brought the food out were polite and professional, but the main servers came off dismissive and uninterested. In short: Jiwan is a feast for the eyes, not the palate. Great for influencers and photo ops, not for anyone chasing genuine flavour or attentive service.
H A — Google review
Oh it was one of the most incredible culinary experiences I have had globally. It was fine dining to the T! Incredible service, extremely professional and attentive. Great views of the Doha skyline. And of course, the absolutely incredible food and presentation. Lots of options of vegan / vegetarians. Highly recommend as one of the must visit restaurants in Doha. Great vibes and atmosphere. The crowning dish at the end was the deconstructed baklava that I dreamt about a few days ago. Would highly highly recommend if you’re visiting Doha for a meal. I’d love to come back when back in town.

Nestled on the ground floor of the National Museum of Qatar, Desert Rose Cafe is a delightful spot that beautifully reflects the museum's architectural elegance. With its warm color palette and natural textures, this cafe creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating while savoring a diverse menu featuring Qatari and international dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
A hidden gem inside the Qatar national museum. The ambience is very good. Service is super friendly. Food is delicious. Coffee is relatively average, but not bad. We had the traditional Rice with rubiyan ( prawns) even though they say it's qatari traditional food, it more feel like Indian taste. The falafel is quite good. The robot waiter is fun. Overall , a nice place.
Vasil — Google review
It’s a nice cafe located within the Qatar National Museum and the interior corresponds to the museum itself. Service is ok-ish, not too friendly, just ok. The great part is that they have a robot that can bring you your orders. We ordered the Arab Coffee. We were warned about the 15 minute wait. But when it wasn’t served after 30 minutes, I had to come to the counter to remind about myself - and it was served then in a minute. The coffee comes is a really nice pot with traditional cups.
Nataliia S — Google review
Not a bad place. The arabic coffee was delicious and the food was tasty with good portions. Drinks were delivered by a robot and there was a nice view over to Stadium 974. Unfortunately, there was a constant high-pitched whining noise (from the fridges maybe) that did my head in, forcing me to leave, hence the poor score for atmosphere.
Robert H — Google review
Food teste good. Dessert is too sweet, should eat with tea or coffee. Staff is very nice.

The interior reflects a fusion of traditional Qatari elements and items, creating an inviting atmosphere.
I visited the place Gahwetna and ate the recommended best seller of Mashkool which deserves a 5 star. very tasty and presented well with an affordable price. The place was clean and maintained. The waiter was so kind and nice and accommodating, gave even a complimentary sweet which is very nice as well, its like a coffee cream tiramisu on a jar.w

We left feeling both full and happy. This is the kind of place that reminds you why going out to eat is about more than just food, it’s about connection, warmth, and joy. Highly recommended! Jayvee anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, it felt like dining with a friend who really wanted us to have the best night. And so we did! Thanks

Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and authentic atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful meal. The decoration is beautiful and truly reflects the charm of traditional Arabic design, every detail feels intentional and inviting. A huge shoutout to the incredible servers, Montassar and Mark, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure my Arabic coffee cup was never empty! Speaking of which, the biscuits served with the Arabic coffee were just perfect, crisp, buttery, and full of flavor. Breakfast was a delight, everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The hummus was incredibly flavourful and smooth, and the fresh mint in the tea added such a refreshing touch. Every bite and sip felt like a little celebration. Even the outdoor seating was impressive, the AC outside works perfectly, keeping us cool and comfortable throughout the meal. Can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommended!

I ordered Keema Aayes and a cup of Karak with Lsan Elthor. The Keema was nice and tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Karak was good as well, but unfortunately, the sugar wasn’t mixed properly and had settled at the bottom, which I only noticed at the end when it tasted overwhelmingly sweet. The service was okay, but it was clear there was a shortage of staff, with only one person taking orders and serving the entire restaurant, which affected the experience. On a positive note, the ambience was nice and welcoming

We like going to this place as a family. The menu has lots of items that you will not find everywhere and they are all delicious. On top of that I really like how the interior looks, very unique. I highly suggest ordering the hummus platter, just the hot bread from the tandoor alone is worth it. A special thanks to mr. Marc and Jayvee for their hospitality. My son talked their ears off about how much he liked the food.

It offers refined accommodations with fully equipped rooms, including amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say the experience exceeded all expectations, thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, Camila at the reception made me feel genuinely welcome with her warm smile and professionalism. She went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was smooth and even offered great recommendations for local attractions. The SPA and gym staff were equally impressive — always attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with any request. They made sure my visits to the wellness area were relaxing and perfectly tailored to my needs. At the restaurant, the service was outstanding. The team created a welcoming atmosphere, and their attention to detail made every meal a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, but it was the staff’s dedication and kindness that truly made the difference. Overall, this hotel offers not just great facilities but a team of people who genuinely care about making your stay unforgettable. I can’t wait to return!

My experience at Park Hyatt Doha was outstanding, largely thanks to the amazing staff. Aaron and Brian at the concierge desk were truly exceptional – incredibly positive, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. Their professionalism combined with genuine kindness created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that I deeply appreciated. At the same time, I must highlight that the entire hotel team was absolutely excellent – every interaction reflected warmth, care, and true dedication to guests. It is rare to meet people so committed to exceeding expectations, and they made my visit unforgettable. I am very grateful and look forward to returning again.

My stay at this hotel has been truly wonderful. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well-designed, which made me feel relaxed and at ease. The staff are always welcoming, kind, and ready to help with anything, which added so much to my experience. What impressed me the most was that the employees were always willing to help without expecting anything in return – their genuine kindness made me feel even more at home. The restaurant is another highlight – the food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes, and everything was served with care. I especially loved how friendly and professional the team was, always smiling and creating a warm atmosphere. If you stay at this hotel, you should definitely visit the restaurant on the terrace – you will be truly happy with the experience. Overall, I felt completely at home here, and I would happily return and recommend this hotel and its restaurant to everyone.

I decided to write a review which normally I would do on my return home but wanted to write a little something now, just as an appreciation of the staff at park Hyatt Doha. This is our second visit and it has been a may experience. lovely hotel in a fab location but what truly stands out are the staff. They are so welcoming, friendly and professional. Just some of the amazing staff I would like to mention in this review are: (Ilham,Andrew, Mohamed many others who have also been so wonderful. who are so very friendly and offer some credit to them for managing such a wonderful team. The lovely ladies at front of house who show us to our table each morning for breakfast. Not forgetting the chiefs and all the hard work they put in providing guests with fabulous breakfasts each day.

The hotel is definitely a come back to! The breakfast is fresh and delicious, the hotel is clean and fully serviced, the spa has a shower experience which is something amazing honestly, Room service is one of the best I experienced. I ordered 1 lemon and mint juice and one of the staff (Saikumar 👌🏼) brought it to my room along side with a second juice as a complementary 😁 my stay with my family was perfect and for sure whenever I visit Doha I will be staying here again

I had breakfast here and it was such a lovely experience! The food was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. What really stood out to me was the staff — super friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A special thank you to Miss Sarah — she was incredibly kind, cheerful, and helpful throughout. Definitely coming back again and highly recommend this place! 🌟

The place is really great! I sat in the outdoor seating area during the winter, and the weather was refreshing and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I ordered iftar meal for one person, which was enough for both me and my husband. The food was delicious and served well. The service was excellent, thanks to the waitress Sara, who was always cheerful and polite. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend visiting this place.

- nice staff and well organized - ordered multiple dishes. All of them are very tasty expect one dishes “Balaleet” it was too sweet for my taste. Karak tea was good - place is clean and good atmosphere Overall, good experience and recommend if you are around

I ordered the Tikka sandwich and it was tasty — I really enjoyed the flavor and the chicken was cooked well. I think it would be even better if the potato chips were replaced with fries, as that would make it tastier and healthier. The service was okey, and I liked the decoration, which reminded me of the old days in Qatar.

Known for its generous and beautifully presented servings, SMAT is popular for traditional breakfast dishes as well as authentic starters, main courses, and desserts that are not only delicious but also visually appealing.
A contemporary Qatari restaurant that is definitely worth trying. The food was excellent (we tried the Majkouzi). The place is big and spacious, they have both outdoor and indoor seating. The portions are big and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.

OH BOY . We arrived late after a night out in this beautiful country had coffee desserts and we were kinda full but this place was highly recommended so we just wanted to order a main dish each and wow the prices for what’s on offer is kinda shocking. We asked our amazing waitresses what is the most ordered and what she recommended and we landed on 1 - mashkhoul chicken … : an over cooked chicken with bland rice this summs it up 2 majbous al shuyoukh : a greasy rice topped with nice braised beef the beef was kinda good but the greasy rice kills it . Again kinda bland. In fairness we weren’t so hungry but we still finished our dishes and still the main issue is the price for what you get this is an absolute high way robbery 😂 . I mean charge as much as you want just deliver something that actually justifies what we pay for . The place it self had a Great atmosphere and a really nice place both ground floor and the second floor both had an amazing seating and water fixtures and great lighting The only disappointment in our trip if they just think about lowering the prices or literally give you an awesome dish to mach the prices it would have been a great experience . Last thing — the staff was the saving grace for this place they were amazing hospitable and extremely friendly and polite ❤️🙏🏻

Amazing atmosphere with a beautiful interior. The food was amazing with great value for money. The staff were so lovely. The only set back I would point out is to be cautious of drink prices eg. 8£ cappuccino. The rest was great. Highly recommend this place.

Really nice traditional and locally visited restaurant right next to the National Qatar Museum. The tabouleh was perfection and the grills were spiced really nicely. Highly recommend for someone trying to have a high quality meal before or after the museum.

Best dining experience in Doha. Amazing atmosphere, great service , and delicious food. Maria provided great service .. she was really helpful ✨🤍

The food was ok, not bad. The good quality of meat/seafood definitely helps. But the dishes are just basic, nothing special about them. The dishes were not served hot, so it felt like they were heated leftovers (although they might have been fresh, it's just the food temperature that gives the leftover illusion).

Al Liwan is an all-day-dining restaurant that offers a wide array of delicious Levantine cuisine, including salads, mezzeh, and traditional desserts. The staff is known for their exceptional service, with Hadi being a favorite among guests. The restaurant provides a diverse selection of dishes at a flat rate, ranging from breads and pastas to meats and cheeses. Guests particularly enjoy the chef stations, especially the kebab station. The ambience is pleasant and the service is excellent.
Excellent buffet for a Saturday lunch time! We realty liked the food and the service was excellent. They have Illy coffee which is one our favourite coffee brands whcih is also included with the buffet. Great selection of salads, breads, main courses, desseets and the grills were tastey.

Al Liwan Restaurant offers a beautiful and elegant dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with tasteful traditional décor and comfortable seating. The service was attentive and welcoming. I tried the pizza and it was fresh, cheesy, and flavorful paired nicely with soft drinks and a variety of fresh bread and butter. The table setup was neat and classy, and the ambiance felt calm and relaxing. Great spot for both casual and special meals.

I had here a pleasant experience. Ambience is great and service is excellent. The varities of salads were amazing and the taste was above expectations. While the main course variety was less, the taste of what I tried was up to the point especially the grilled food. Dessert corner contains both Arabic sweets and western. Most of them were great.

I visited Al Liwan and tried their chicken shawarma, which was tasty and well-prepared. The portion size was good, and the flavors were balanced. It’s a nice place for a quick and satisfying meal.

Called and got confirmation from staff stated the buffet price was 175 riyals for seafood night. Instead need to pay more after that. 😡 Personal’s opinion that the price is not worth. Taste is average, no salmon, concentrated juice.

Never had bad food in Doha. Know I can say so. I’m disappointed that the food, the service and location was a big flop. Sea food bbq night with practically no sea food. We had to ask the waiter if they could speak with the kitchen staff to make us some fish. The trays as it was a buffet, where completely out of stock and miserable- we arrived at 8.30 PM it look closing time. The wine was warm and they filled the bucket with ice, the bottle just couldn’t fit inside. Come on! I’m sorry but this had a bad impact on the Hotel and we want be coming back. You’ve lost 6 clients.

🔖 Buffet breakfast in Al Liwan Restaurant is from 0700H to 1000H only. No advance reservations for guests but they advice to be there by 7-8am. 🔖 We arrived in Al Liwan by 0700H, to our surprise, they told us that they will open by 0800H due to New Year’s Breakfast offer. They should have informed us about this during the check-in. 🔖 open-buffet style. 🔖 Thanks to Mr. Rusthum and Mr. Kingvi for assisting us in our dining experience.

Karak Mqanes stands out as a beloved destination for Karak enthusiasts in Qatar. While their menu boasts a variety of offerings, the star remains their rich and creamy Karak tea, which pairs beautifully with traditional Qatari dishes. The ambiance is inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely meal or grab takeout. Patrons rave about the delicious buri filled with keema and other delightful options like Shakahouka and saffron cake, all praised for their authentic flavors.
The food is really delicious — chapati keema, chapati shakshuka. I have every morning. Karak tea is very very tasty . All the Morning staff are very hardworking.

I waited 20 minutes to get the burnt chicken ! I don't know if it's a new Indian meal or shrimp! It doesn't look like the menu picture and tastes very bad🤢🤢

Unimaginable how delicious this sandwich, it’s a filly steak🥩sandwich from kark but the quantity is bit small for the sandwich. The managing juice is medium, they need to work on it to be at least comparable to the market standard for such products.

I tried Karak Mqanes that is located inside the metro station. Small stall, limited seats, staff is kind, service is fast, taste is good. I just tried the karak since I love karak and I am a fan of Ceylon tea. I haven't tried their meals so I can't review it. Maybe next time. The good thing is that my friend doesn't drink karak but she likes to have karak from Karak Mqanes. So far so good 👍

Extremely rude staff. I politely asked for one extra spoon of sugar, and he angrily dumped three into my cup out of spite. This isn’t the first time either. Tea Time staff is always polite, but the Karak Muqanis team is consistently awful.
