The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) in Doha, Qatar is a renowned landmark designed by architect M. Pei and opened in 2008. I was absolutely amazed by the Museum of Islamic Art! The collection of Islamic symbols and artifacts left me in awe – every single piece is breathtaking and beautifully presented. The museum itself is stunningly designed, with each floor dedicated to a different theme, which makes the experience even more enriching.
I could have easily spent much more time exploring, as there was so much to admire. My personal highlight was the golden amulet necklace – its intricate details and craftsmanship were simply mesmerizing.

Absolutely love this museum such a wonderful ambience had coffee at the coffee shop. Overlooked the city views . Excellent photo opportunity on either side of the building don’t just go to one and miss the other. There’s a restaurant that’s open in the evening on the rooftop that I would love to try.
The layout of the museum is well thought .

Gazing at the magnificent architecture and view is rivalled only by the immense plethora of knowledge one is emerged it. It is definitely worth visiting. The museum displays Islamic history and modernity. Tickets are available at the entrance. Be ready for quite a walk, though you wouldn't notice it - once immersed in the vast ocean of knowledge.
Very highly recommended. The museum itself is architecturally very beautiful, and the way in which so many beautiful artefacts are displayed is stunning. The story it tells of Islam is easy to understand and important to know. The view over to the Corniche is beautiful too.
The visit to the Museum of Islamic Art was the highlight of my visit to Doha. The artifacts, pottery, and the beautiful items on display were absolutely awesome. The history of the growth of Islam over the different eras was a good learning experience. To visit the Islamic Museum is highly recommended.
Get ready to spend half a day or one full day enjoying art in the museum. Museum outlook itself is already a masterpiece 😌 there are permanent and temporary themes. Like me, I spent 4-5 hours admiring the art and lunch in the cafe (perfect view!)
I got the museum silver pass as I was in the visiting the national museum (which is cheaper than paying each time)

The uniquely designed museum taking you on a journey of Qatar and its rich cultural history and traditions. It is worth visiting and will be even better as there are still exhibits being added to the museum. You can get tickets upon entry, without an advance booking. If you go on a weekday, try to get there early.

Architecturally beautiful but very spread out amongst 3 installations and hot walking in the heat (no shade) between venues. The restaurant didn't open until 12:30 so we didn't get to enjoy that. The permanent exhibition section is difficult to find and not well sign posted. They need coloured trail maks on the ground to show you where to go.

Katara Cultural Village is a waterfront complex in Doha that offers a blend of leisure, entertainment, and shopping. It pays homage to Qatar's past with its design as a traditional village featuring sandstone-hued lanes, mosques, cafes, boutiques, and coffee shops. The village also includes a 5,000-seater amphitheater overlooking the ocean where live concerts and entertainment take place.
Beautiful architecture 🥰 you can find many photographic frames. Ideal for all category of people. Recommended to visit after checking the weather conditions.

Do not visit at the daytime during summer, it’s scorching hot and you won’t be able to enjoy yourself at the place. There are gorgeous minarets and Islamic architecture but the place felt a little disjointed to me, as if some of the structures or tourist spots were thrown together rather haphazardly.

This plave would benefit from additional coffee shops, what exists already was extremely crouded.

It is a unique blend of the infamous Arab luxury and European essence merged into a delightful experience. It caters to a wide variety of tastes and personalities. It is definitely worth visiting. I loved roaming through the village in the night. The atmosphere is indescribable, yet tranquil.
Very beautiful open space with an amphitheatre. Has a port/ beach. Plan late evening here for beautiful little up scenery. And also to avoid the harsh sun. Lots of cafes near the amphitheatre side but can be a bit pricey

The Katara Cultural Village was an incredible experience, and I learned so much from my tour guide about their culture and heritage.

Very live area with so many different touristic views and zones. A must visit is Katara Water Foundation, Katara waterfalls, Katara Gold Mosque and one of the most luxurious malls nearby (Gallerie La Fayette)
Katara Cultural Village is one of the most beautiful and inspiring places to visit in Doha. The grounds are stunning, with gorgeous architecture, peaceful walkways, and plenty to see and explore. The art galleries showcase incredible work, and the exhibits change often, so there’s always something new and interesting to discover.
There are also many charming restaurants and cafés, each with its own atmosphere and style — perfect for relaxing after a stroll. Every corner of Katara offers a great photo opportunity, from the mosaics and archways to the sea views and amphitheater.
It’s a perfect place to spend a few hours — whether you’re an art lover, a foodie, or just want to take in the beauty of Doha’s cultural heart.

Aspire Park, the largest in the city at over 80 hectares, is a stunning green space featuring a lake, fountains, and playgrounds. Nestled behind the Villaggio and Hyatt Plaza, this expansive oasis offers a 1.6-kilometer jogging track and diverse aquatic life in its large lake.
Aspire Park is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend a visit. Beautifully kept gardens, lush green grass, lots of different trees, lots of shade and peaceful picnic spots. It doesn't feel like you are actually in a dessert country when you are at Aspire Park.
Large man made lake with pedal boats for hire. Water fountains. Our favourite is the water bridge to walk through for a refreshing cool off.
There are bike tracks all around the park, Jungle gyms, a skate venue and other outdoor equipment to enjoy.
We love the fact that it's a save home to lots of birds, ducks, squirrels and we even found a tortoise.
In the summer, because of the heat, the boat hire and little shops are closed during the day, and opens 4pm daily.
But entry to the park is FREE, and it's amazing to enjoy the peace and space if you don't mind the heat during the morning. Lots of shady trees and the water bridge is great!
At night it's a different experience with all the lights. Great visit either way.

Aspire Park
NOT RECOMMENDED
I visited the park as a solo male traveler. As I was entering, a security guard came up to me and said the park was for “families only,” and that I wasn’t allowed to enter alone. I tried to joke with him, saying, “I’m my own family,” but let’s just say he didn’t find it funny haha.
In the end, I pretended to walk away, then sneaked in through another path — successfully. The park itself is… well, just a park. Lots of open space, some trees, kids playing football, and families picnicking everywhere. Security and staff were all over the place, and it felt quite crowded.
I walked around and explored every area, then left through the same path I came in — passing the same guard who stopped me earlier. I stared him dead in the eye as I walked out. Felt so good 😂

I like walking and do picnics here in early morning or noon at autumn. But now so many birds and ducks here and their 💩 is everywhere. But it's still nice to come here.
A huge park with a lake and a lot of ducks. It’s a good place where you can have a walk and relax away from the city and its a safe space for kids to play.
Really nice park right next to Villagio Mall. There is a small lake/pond where you can hire a paddle boat. There is a bridge with a water fountain. Plenty of places to eat (food trucks).

Villaggio Mall in Doha is a unique Italian-themed shopping destination that offers more than just luxury retail stores. Families with children will find it particularly appealing, as the mall features Gondolania Indoor Theme Park, the largest family entertainment center in Doha. Villagio Mall is by far my favorite mall in Qatar — it’s simply amazing! The interiors are stunning, with beautiful Venetian-style architecture and vibrant decor that makes every visit feel special. One of my favorite features is the indoor canal with boat rides, plus a fun mall bus ride that kids absolutely love. For those who enjoy sports, the ice skating rink is a must-try and adds so much fun to the visit.

Visited Vilaggio Mall and love it's asthetic beauty. It was Friday, a weekly holiday here in Qatar so it was full of visitors. Also took a small bus ride inside the mall and recorded many videos. All international big brands have their outlets and also there so many restaurants. A must visit place if you are visiting Qatar.
Villaggio Mall is definitely worth a visit when in Doha. It offers all the well-known international brands along with some charming local shops that give it a nice regional touch. The interior design is inspired by Venice, complete with a cute indoor canal where visitors can enjoy a gondola ride — a fun and unique experience for both kids and adults.
The mall also features a large food court with a wide variety of dining options to suit any taste. Right next to it, there’s a full-sized ice-skating rink, which adds to the lively atmosphere and makes it a great spot to spend an entire afternoon.

We visited the Villagio Mall at Doha, Qatar. The mall is wonderful experience. The mall is located near the torch tower. The interiors of the mall is wonderful and breath taking. It has been designed in Venice style. The water channel the boat ride is one of its kind experience.

Katara Beach is a charming beach located within the city, offering boating amenities and a children's play area. The area has seen the emergence of night markets in various prime locations across Qatar, including Katara, where expats have introduced a variety of cuisines from around the world. This is a beautiful and highly maintained beach with pretty clean water. The place is more magical in the evening when the nearby buildings are all lightened up.

There is an entry fee of 10qar per person to pass the beach entrance.
You will have to pass extra 5QAR for chairs and shack umbrellas respectively.
It also has a little playground with some swings for your lil ones to enjoy and keep themselves busy.

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, also known as Mathaf, is a contemporary museum located in Doha's Education City. Established in 2010, it features over 6,300 pieces of Arabian art dating from the 19th century to the present day. The museum is housed in a renovated building designed by French architect Jean-Francois Bodin. Under the patronage of H.E.
It’s a very fine music with lots of paintings and artwork, we came across Gerome’s exhibition when we came. It’s very quiet with no one else around and it’s a Sunday 😂 lots of security guys in the museum to make sure you don’t touch the artwork. You can’t bring your bag in but there are lockers to keep your valuables. There is wifi and toilets here. Best part is free entrance!

From the metro stop at education city right out of the rotating glass door is the tram stop . Blue line takes you to the adjacent entrance of the museum, you can ask the security staff at those locations really helpful.

Since.this was a film oriented showing, the setup was good with nice acoustics, oh the highlight is the mega projector screen that may keep you in one room enjoying the view plus the story.
It is well curated in that there is a flow of movement starting from the ground floor that has rooms setup to showcase the films listed.
Then the first floor that had a variety of art pieces lined up on the walls .
As one line I recall , a tree taken is made as a depiction of what a tree could be .paraphrased. this is from the abstract art area.
I recently visited this museum for an exhibition, and it was a fantastic experience. The exhibit was well-curated, with detailed information and thoughtful displays that made the visit both educational and inspiring. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall ambiance of the museum was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone interested in culture, history, or art. This is one of the best museums in Doha to appreciate modern art in the city. The entrance is free and there are two floors. The permanent collections are on the second floor, but unfortunately, only one of the five galleries was possible to be visited. They had a very good collection of the works of Jean Léon Gérôme on the ground floor.
What a venu, what a permanent collection and what an exhibition about Gerome. Not my first visit but always a treat whenever I am in Doha. Can't wait to see what Lusail Musuem will show when it is open. Free entry. Free lockers.
We were very disappointed with our experience at the museum. Before our trip, we had carefully checked the information on the official website to make sure it would be open. However, when we arrived after a 20-minute taxi ride, we were told at the entrance that it was closed.
The staff member we spoke with was neither helpful nor understanding of the situation, and showed no concern for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to leave right away.
It’s really frustrating and disappointing that such poor communication and lack of consideration spoiled what should have been a cultural highlight of our visit.

Despite being a very small museum and located 20-30 minutes away from Doha City Center, the museum is worth the time and effort.
The museum spans over two floors with the upper floor having the permanent items while the ground floor having the temporary items.
Entrance is free. The place is easy to navigate. There are stairs and lifts between the two floors. Worth spending 30-60 minutes here.

One of my favorite places to go when I need some me time with only myself. I just take my scooter there climb the pick grassy area over there and enjoy the view. If you were new in Qatar, you must visit this place.

Located just 21 minutes north of downtown Doha, this amusement park offers a wide range of electric and water games that guarantee unmatched fun for visitors of all ages. From thrilling rides like Evolution and disco rides to the drop tower ride, there's something for everyone.
A superb day spent in the theme park. My kids enjoyed it a lot. A lot of fun rides for kids and adults as well. The trampoline area was a perfect fun for kids. The boat ride was entertaining and my 4 year old loved the soft play area.
I went on a fantastic monday offer. It was really worth the money. My daughter loved unlimited rides.

Recently we had the experience of visiting
Doha's Angry Birds World, and honestly, it was overall decent, especially for my daughter who enjoys rides.
There's a decent mix of stuff to do, from the real thrill rides like the Super Slingshot (which, whoa!) and the go-karts, to gentler options like the boat ride and a super cute soft play area that kept our little one entertained for ages. The trampoline zone was a real highlight – all that bouncing definitely burned off some energy! The whole place just felt really lively and colorful, you definitely felt like you'd stepped right into the Angry Birds' world.
Now, a heads-up for anyone planning a visit: the costs can add up. We went on a Monday hoping to snag the "Fun Monday" deal with unlimited rides, which definitely felt like better value, especially since we also grabbed some of the food deals. But even with that, keep in mind that not everything is included in the unlimited pass. Those side games and some other bits and pieces will still cost you extra.
Something else I wish we'd known beforehand is the footwear situation. Apparently, some of the attractions need specific types of shoes, and socks are a must for the trampolines. It wasn't really mentioned when we booked our tickets, so definitely come prepared with the right footwear to avoid any hiccups.
If you've got younger kids, it's also worth checking out the height restrictions. A lot of the more exciting rides, like the ones my older one was desperate to go on, have a minimum height of around 1.4 meters.
My duaghter was a bit bummed she couldn't go on everything, so it's good to know in advance what everyone will be able to ride.
Most Staff were really helpful and friendly,. We were initially expecting to enter at 1.00pm only to be told it's closed for another 3 hours due to a government order. As we passed 2 hours later we noticed It was open .. It wasn't a major issue for us, in hindsight though with children we could have been made aware through the website which would have made life easier.
Overall though, we had a really fun day out at Angry Birds World. Just make sure you factor in the potential extra costs, come prepared with the right shoes and socks, check those height restrictions, and maybe keep your expectations for customer service in check. If you go in knowing all that, you'll likely have a great time!
A Fantastic Place for Family Fun!
Angry Birds World in Doha is an amazing place for both kids and adults. The moment we entered, we were greeted with bright colors, fun music, and huge Angry Birds characters everywhere. It felt like stepping into a cartoon! There are both indoor and outdoor areas, so you can enjoy no matter the weather.
The rides and games are really exciting. My kids loved the rope course, trampolines, and the soft play area. We also tried the 4D cinema, and it was so much fun! Even the adults enjoyed the adventure rides and arcade games. Everything is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
We spent almost the whole day there and didn’t even realize the time passing. There are also food options inside, so you can take a break and grab a bite. If you’re visiting Doha with family, I highly recommend visiting Angry Birds World. It’s full of fun, laughter, and great memories!
We utilize fantastic Monday deal but I must say deal was not good, arcade games were not included in that and 2 others as well. Heavy on pocket but should be visited once. Monday is comparatively better day to go otherwise rest days will be more expensive. It was 69 Qr per pax on Monday excluding arcade games, 2 others outdoor games. Anyhow good time spent for kids.

If your child falls even slightly below this limit, they may not be permitted to participate, which could be disappointing for some families.
Additionally, I recommend wearing closed-toe shoes when visiting Angry Birds World Theme Park, as some of the activities may require sturdy footwear for safety reasons.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the park offers a fantastic experience for families looking to have a fun day out. The kids had a blast, and the overall atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Nice theme park and rides. My family enjoyed it but I noticed the cost of the rides & games runs out quickly on our rechargeable card than any other theme park I've visited in Doha.
I thought buying tickets with fast track could make the journey easier but it was not. You should go back to front desk for any issue. No enough information given e.g: no karting is not included.
There are no clear map for the Theme so with crowdedness we were being lost.

I got to the fort in the evening so there were no camels that I saw in some of the photos. With the lights it look pretty but with walls rather low, even its tower, I wonder what role it serves as a fort. Maybe it is just my perception that fort needs to be high to be effective.
This fort is always close, but luckily it's open tonight and I had the chance to see what's inside.

Visitors can marvel at stamps that span various themes and historical periods, with the oldest dating back to 1927 from Jordan.
Excellent place to spend a few minutes, located close to Katara Mosque.

As a stamp collector I was hoping to see the museum in its normal state. It was retrofitted for the FIFA so it was all football stamps. I do plan in returning to Doha, for the GP in 2023, possibly I’ll visit again. The location is prim in the Katara Neighborhood.
Arab Postal Stamps Museum is located inside of Katara Cultural Village, close to the Katara Mosque. During the World Cup Qatar 2022, it was displaying the Qatar 2022 special series stamps: Qatar team, stadiums, Laeeb, FIFA, etc also there was a huge exhibition with stamps related to all World Cups from world wide collectors. Even from the same collectors, there was some autographed jerseys.

A beautiful, relatively small monument shaped like a large oyster in homage to Qatar's past history with pearls being a very important export in the old days. We passed it on our way as we were going to walk the entire Corniche Promenade (Al Corniche) all the way to the West Bay area.
Located right by the marina where many dhow boats are docked. Across from Souq Waqif. It’s a nice sculpture. I was there on Friday evening, moderate crowd. Many people trying to get in a picture. Some people climb into the water, don’t think that is safe/sanitary but to each their own. It’s good for a quick photo opp if you’re shopping or eating by the souq.
The Pearl calmly flows water through it, surrounded by busy street and jetty, depicts peace in chaos. Gets little crowded around the Pearl in evening by locals and tourist. 20~30min boat rides start near the Pearl going up to new Doha, Al Corniche is a wonderful experience. In the evening the Pearl is lighted up with changing colours.

Gondolania is an indoor amusement park located within Villaggio Mall in Qatar, offering a wide range of attractions suitable for all age groups. Additionally, Gondolania boasts a 4D cinema, bowling alley, laser wars arena, go-karting track, and an ice arena.
Kids absolutely loved this amusement park/fun fair. If you can get there for 10am then you can get the 50QAR offer that allows you on all rides until 2PM.

Great mini theme park for young visitors and perfect for escaping the heat! Currently running an offer for unlimited rides weekdays between 10am and 2pm for 50 riyals.
This place is going to cost you quite a bit of money to do anything more than very few games and/or rides. There are a couple of good rides and best you just go for those two and save the rest of your money. There is a far far better indoor theme park where you just pay for the entry and ride as much as you want. Seems a much better use of funds.
The place also seems to have an over-inflated sense of its importance with very backward rules on cameras and filming.

The vendor cart that is full of bad quality toys and candy that keeps going around in circles.
This particular worker gave my son a toy gun without me looking or asking me and then he came and asked me if I wanted to buy it. Of course I said no because 50qr for a made in China toy that shouldn't cost 10qr is ridiculous.
The worker turned around and snatched it out of my sons hands and my son proceeded to cry for 3 mins.
Ive been to every play area and arcade and this one falls under the worst category.
They need to tear the whole place down and put in FunVille or FunCity.
We went to a filipino childrens party and the host were terribly bias. It was a childrens party and they always had their own favorite kids to give prizes to. Children should not go home sad and this behaviour might traumatize some kids. Yup its evident and im not being petty. This review is specific to the Party hosts.
Good place for kids and adults to have fun. They have a lot of activities. You can easily spend 3 to 4 hours. Some of my favorite activities for adults are bowling, go carting, roller coaster and laser wars. Go carting is a must! Most of the staff have a friendly attitude. Play areas and toilets are clean. Not much activities for toddlers.
So cool having an indoor theme park!!!!! Lots to do for adults and kids.

The blue mosque is one of two mosques in Katara (the other one is the golden). This one is a little bit bigger and architectural more attractive. You can enter and even watch a short video introducing the mosque and some religious background. The personnel was exceptionally nice.

We only had a few hours in Dubai but fortunate enough to be able to do an airport tour. This included what is called the Blue or Katara Mosque which is located in the Katara Cultural Village. It is renowned for its predominantly blue exterior, featuring impressive glass mosaic art and hand-painted ceramic tiles with colors like turquoise, purple, gold, and blue. The mosque has a unique Islamic star shape with a detached minaret and nine central domes, incorporating any architectural styles. It is both a place of worship and a cultural attraction.
The Katara Mosque is simply beautiful. The blue and gold mosaics sparkle with so much detail, and the minaret looks enchanting when it’s lit up at night. It’s not only a place of prayer but also a work of art that makes you stop and admire.
Strolling through Katara Cultural Village, I unknowingly encountered an impressively unique masjid. The design and style lends much from the Turkish Ottoman period. An architectural wonder and truly worth the visit. I recommend visiting before 9pm if you wish to immerse yourself in its wonder.

A beautiful mosque located inside the Katara Cultural Village. The design is stunning — covered in colorful mosaic tiles and glass that sparkle under the sun.
Anyone can enter for free, even non-Muslims (like me). You just need to take off your shoes before going inside. The staff are very friendly, and when you go inside they’ll show you a short video about the mosque and Islam (about 5 minutes long). After that, you’re free to walk around and explore at your own pace.
This was my first time entering a mosque, and I was really amazed — the inside is very beautiful and peaceful. Overall, a welcoming and memorable experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Katara.

What an awesome experience with the little ones. Enough games to share and play between adults and kids alike. All the staff are really friendly and attentive everything was super professional and the upkeep is immaculate. We will definitely be back. Some of the games are a bit pricey for what you get.

Al Riwaq Gallery, situated near the Museum of Islamic Art, is a versatile art space that hosts workshops, lectures, and exhibitions. A separate exhibition space, the Al Riwaq Art Space, only houses temporary exhibits.
Presently, the art space is hosting an exhibition by Jeff Koons. The layout of this art space is different from the museum of Islamic art, although it occupies the same grounds as the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA). The space was very well set up and brightly lit.
There's a very calm atmosphere to the exhibition, which is thought-provoking and intriguing.

Al Riwaq ensures world-class, prime art exhibitions and experiences. Artists who have been exhibited includes Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama and currently a phenomenal Orientalist art exhibition showcasing a collection of intelligently curated artworks. I have only had positive and lingering memories of the exhibitions here and visit the exhibitions numerous times due to the quality of work. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist with queries and information. It is family friendly and the content easily accessible for all ages. The gallery ensures that there are enough information and guidance for a thoroughly thought-provoking, or just a pleasantly relaxing experience. It is situated in MIA park and in walking distance of the MIA art museum therefore a double whammy of culture and leisure. Souq Waqif is also a comfortable walk away for great cuisine and shopping.

Al Riwaq Gallery is hosting Jeff Koons’s first exhibition in the Gulf region wich provides a unique view into his exceptional career as one of the best-known contemporary artists.
In the 1990s, he created a series of huge steel sculptures imitating oblong balloon toys. Playing with such balls, as Koons said, in childhood made an impression on him, which has not been erased to this day.
Right now 27/JULY they have an outlet till end of this month (Takashi Murakami, Jeff Koons, DIOR and others) a lot of gifts in good price 😇

Barzan Towers, also known as the Umm Salal Mohammed Fort Towers, are 19th-century watchtowers located in the suburbs of Doha in Umm Salal Mohammed village. These towers were built with coral stone and limestone to serve as a lookout for approaching ships and protect local water sources. The architectural design is a rectangular building with three storeys and an external staircase, showcasing exceptional Arabian architectural style.
Visited Barzan Towers around midday. Very quiet & very hot. The Manager/Caretaker, a kind hearted soul, took us on a personal tour of the site. He opened up the towers & Mosque. Allowed us go to the top of the towers (be-warned , very steep steps & you need to kneel down to get through the tiny exits). The caretaker gave us tea at the end. May Allah (SWT) reward & bless him.

Barzan Tower
It’s about a 10 km drive from Doha (my Uber cost 25 QAR). There’s no entry fee. A staff member near the entrance will ask you to write down your name and where you’re from — that’s all, and then you can enter for free!
There isn’t much to see, though. You’ll find some old towers and buildings where you can climb to the top for a nice view of the surroundings, but you can’t go inside the main structure. My visit took about 20 minutes in total, and I managed to get some nice photos.
If you have extra time and nowhere else to go, it’s worth a quick stop — but not really a must-visit. Still, it’s free, peaceful, and the staff are very friendly, so that’s definitely a plus :)
While this place is currently under repair, I was able to get in before it all happened. I and my mother were the only people there at the time. Such a peaceful place with an interesting story.
Do yourself a favour and read about it before going as it makes the journey slightly outside the main city even more worth it. A great spot to pretend like you're an old world explorer.
Beautiful site rich of history & true heritage of Qatar culture. The sunset view from the towers is breath taking and highly recommended to visit and enjoy the beautiful site view and experience the real history and culture.
Fascinating architectural style though constructed in recent times. It would have been even better if the towers had been open to climb to the top.
The Barzan Towers were built in the late 19th century and were renovated in the early 20th century to serve as watchtowers against the incoming Ottoman soldiers.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we couldn't get inside the towers. But I would recommend to visit this place.
Quite interesting to see these old watchtowers.
You are able to climb the stairs inside up to the roof area for a good view.
Not too sure if I'd take young children as steps are quite steep.

I've been to a few concerts at the doha Golf Club and am always impressed. The space for shows is nice - outdoors with a field to watch as well as space to sit on a hill to watch the stage. The events are organized, with food and drinks and also has a VIP section closer to the stage. Highly recommend - A+++
The golf course is in amazing condition but the second cut is so deep that you have trouble finding your ball. The condition of the tee boxes fairways and greens were in perfect condition when we played. The starter was friendly but that was it. The rest of the staff need training on how to be friendly and helpful. The shop next to the starter is very poorly stocked as in drinks and snacks. The choice of available food was very poor. The availability of water stations around the club is quite bad and the course could do with the drinks cart. I would highly recommend that if you get a chance to play this course that you do so as some great looking holes and views. The rentals clubs that we got were in very bad condition so I recommend taking your own clubs.
We tried the Brunch for Family and Friends 'BFF' on Saturday. The family was pleasantly surprised by the place, the atmosphere and the taste of food. It is definitely not a fancy brunch like you will find in a hotel but it is priced accordingly. 299Qar with house beverages (Beers, spirits, etc ) and free flow of finger food. There were also some animations for the kids like face painting, a small bouncy castle, games, and a live singer. A small downside, cocktails and digestive are not included in the package and our waiter forgot to tell us, this we ended up with 200Qar extra on the bill. Overall a good experience and we will come back this time with friends or during winter to enjoy the terrace with a view on the golf course and city.

I’ve hosted my son’s birthday there 2 years in a row and both parties have been a hit.
The party in itself is a lot of fun for the kids with many games being played but in addition the guests as well as the celebrant get to enjoy a number of things even after the party. Gam card, soft play access as well as a goodie bag. This is much more than what other places give for the same or higher amount.
The staff are very accommodating and supportive.

This place is historical for some of us, played my first Davis Cup match here in 1994, I was so happy and emotional visiting these courts again and am so happy that the Qatari federation is keeping this place so organized and beautiful, I played around the world but these hard courts are the best, looking forward to visit and play on these courts once again ❤️
I was there at the exxomobil tournament in February 2024. The place is really nice. It's well-equipped and has many courts. The only downside is the heat in the summer.
We have been here for the tennis tournament, well organized as usual but this year there was only one queue to enter, i don't understand why they did not open for additional access points.
Great place with well maintained facilities, anyone can book a court there to play Tennis for a reasonable price, the only disadvantage that you can book the Court only one day ahead. The management is very good.
Now the exxonmobile 2019 tournament is going on there, and it's amazing event.
World class players are competing there including Djokovic.

Incredible installations to play. Too bad there's no indoor court for the hot days... You have to be registered at the desk if you want to book a court. On the ATP/WTA tournament part, center Court is pristine, organization at the highest level. Don't hesitate if you get the chance to visit or play!

Free museums introducing the evolution of Qatari society and the development of oil industry. Four locations in total. The area gives different vibes from the traditional market of Souq Waqif. Staff are all friendly. Not crowded at all. Great place to visit.
It is an interesting cluster of 4 individual blocks, with 1 being across the road. All 4 blend into the surrounding architecture, so it is easy to not know where to look or start. However, there is a sign at the entrance of each block and polite people at the reception who will guide you.
This is a free museum and the displays are quite self explanatory. I personally liked the experience of walking around and seeing things at my pace. Each block have toilet facility too.
My word of caution would be to avoid open sandals. I suffered wearing an open toe sandal as the small sand grains and pebbles got into my feet while I was accessing the 1st block.
It isn't a grand building and one is quite capable of taking sometime trying to figure out where to start from, but it is a nice quiet way to showcase the history and culture of Doha, as each block has a different focus subject theme.
The information was great! It was such a good presentation of history that I had no idea about. It was a really good learning experience. Also the buildings and architecture is so beautiful.
These museums are so amazing you wouldn’t believe you can visit for free. All the exhibitions make it easy to learn about the history of Qatar and it’s surroundings through wonderful artistic videos and displays. AC and the beautiful smell of the museums make your tour exceptional.

A beautiful masjid in the heart of Doha. Despite rumours of no kids - I saw many little ones in the main prayer hall during Jumuah Salaah. That said, there are signs prohibiting children, so it’s at your own discretion.
Visiting the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque was a truly memorable experience. We arrived on a weekday around 10 a.m. and were pleasantly surprised to find the mosque nearly empty, giving us a peaceful, unhurried opportunity to admire the stunning architecture in quiet awe. Our guide, Sarah, was an absolute highlight—kind, informative, and easy to connect with. Originally from the U.S., she made us feel instantly at ease and enriched our visit with thoughtful insights into both the structure and the principles of Islam. The tour was completely free, but the experience was priceless. A must-visit in Doha!

Another beautiful venue to visit whilst in Doha. Takes about 20 to 30 min walk from the West Bay metro station. Alternatively there is a bus (107 i believe) which goes from West Bay to the Mosque. The Mosque gardens are beautiful. The Mosque itself is lovely too and super spacious inside. The office / library area hands out Islamic books for free in multiple languages (which doesn't relate to me) , and hand out more appropriate clothing for women and men where required.

Doha Quest is an indoor amusement park in downtown Doha, offering over 30 rides and attractions. It stands out for its integration of technology, including simulators and virtual reality games. Divided into three themed sections inspired by Arabian history, modern technology, imagination, and gravity fun, the park caters to both children and adults. The EpiQ roller coaster is a must-try as it's known as the tallest indoor roller coaster globally.
Our family including two teenagers aged 14 and 16 had a great time at Doha Quest recently. We visited at 2pm on a Saturday which is when it opened and spent a good four hours going on ride after ride. Great fun to be had and we hardly had any queuing. It’s about £50 each to get in and it’s decent value.
When you’re inside, food and drink is very reasonably priced which is nice to see these days. There’s a Planet Hollywood restaurant which we ate at also which was priced right.

Families will love gentler options like Oryx Express, Space Twister, Magic Bike, Frog Jump, and Jumpin’ Star—plenty for little adventurers too. The 3D flying-theatre “Wings of Destiny” was our standout “best 3D movie”–style experience 🎥🕶️: smooth motion, fun story, and lovely effects that had the kids cheering.
The Fly Zone (iFLY indoor skydiving) 🪂 is a big hit—safe, exciting, and memorable for older kids/teens and grown-ups. Just note it counts as an extra, paid activity and has basic height/age rules. Still, it’s a unique add-on that makes the day feel special.
Food-wise, there are restaurants and snack stalls 🍔🍟🍦 for quick bites between rides, and the photo souvenir corner 📸✨ is a sweet way to capture the smiles. If you’re planning a longer stop, the wider Doha Oasis has dining like Planet Hollywood nearby too.
Prices are on the higher side 💰—no denying that—but they do run seasonal promotions 🎟️🌟 which help a bit. With many rides included in the ticket, kids can hop from one attraction to another without constantly pulling out the wallet.
My strongest note is about the staff attitude:
At the included (free) rides, many team members felt casual, disengaged, and not very welcoming 😐.
At the chargeable experiences (like Fly Zone), staff suddenly became very enthusiastic and attentive 😊.
This contrast doesn’t feel great, and it impacts the overall warmth of the visit. Consistent friendliness and proactive help across all areas would lift the whole experience from “okay” to “amazing.”

If you are an adrenaline junkie, then you will love quest. The roller coaster is breathe taking, as well as other rides. They also have section for children with age appropriate rides.
Fun day out here. This is an indoor theme park complete with rides, restaurants, arcade games, vr games and an overall fun atmosphere.
The theme park is located inside a mall, which is in turn surrounded by apartments, although the 3 are not connected. An indoor theme park is a good idea, the ac keeps everyone cool and no need to walk too much from ride to ride.
Overall we had a great time here, the rides were fun and the queues are minimal. Definitely worth a trip if you have an extra day in Doha.
Many of the rides have a height limit and may not be suitable for small kids. Also, there is a section just for kids, although the overall feel of the place is not that nice. Interestingly, there is also a spinning teacup type of ride here that made us feel more nauseated than any of the ‘adult’ rides
We had a truly enjoyable experience and a wonderful time overall. The Epiq Roller Coaster and Time Traveller rides were outstanding, and the 7D movie theatre was very entertaining. The only drawback was the pricing of food and beverages inside, which felt quite high — for instance, a small water bottle was priced at 8 QAR.

I had an extremely disappointing and humiliating experience at your facility today.
After loading my child’s and her relatives game card with 1,000 QAR, one of the Filipino staff members made inappropriate facial expressions, laughed mockingly, and gestured toward other staff members—as if my action was absurd or crazy. Her behavior was highly unprofessional and offensive.
When I calmly reported her behavior to her Indian supervisor, instead of addressing my concern, he escalated the situation by calling security on me—simply for voicing a complaint. This was an outrageous and insulting response to a paying customer.
This is not just bad service—it’s discrimination, humiliation, and abuse of authority. I demand that the Filipino staff member and her supervisor be terminated immediately for their disrespectful conduct and unprofessional behavior. No customer deserves to be treated this way.
I will be sharing this review publicly until I receive an apology and appropriate action is taken.

Poseidon Dive Center in Qatar offers an amazing experience for beginners and experienced divers alike. The instructors are highly praised for their patience, friendliness, and informative approach. They ensure a comfortable learning pace and prioritize the safety and confidence of their students. Despite any scheduling challenges, the team remains accommodating and dedicated to providing a great diving experience.
I'm from the UK and I reached out to Poseidon Dive Center on WhatsApp after finding myself in Doha rather than Delhi due to not having a visa. Within a few minutes, instructor Nawras responded and explained that diving is mostly on Fridays and Saturdays which is considered the weekend in Doha. Given that it was already Friday, and as an experienced diver, I decided to join Poseidon for two fun dives the next day on Saturday. All paperwork and forms were completed through WhatsApp/online in a very thorough and efficient manner. However, I had to get myself from my hotel in Doha to Sealine, about an hour south of Doha, for 05:30 the next day as the best conditions are in the morning before the day heats up too much. Despite being super early for me, this was easy to arrange by pre-booking a reasonably priced Uber for a 04:30 pickup the next day. The friendly driver, who bought me a green tea shortly after picking me up, dropped me at the meeting point where I met up with Nawras and the rest of the group. After a short drive over sand with deflated tyres, we arrived at the dive site and a tent was set up close to the water.
I set up my gear that I was renting from Poseidon as I only had my mask and dive computer with me. I paired up with my assigned dive buddy and before I knew it we were in the water. There are no natural reefs in Qatar, coral wouldn't survive in the extreme heat of summer and the cold waters of winter. Instead there is an artificial reef consisting of a GMC truck and other objects, in fact the first dive site is known as GMC. While the water is hazier than in, say, Egypt or the Maldives where there are many reefs that keep the visibility really high, the artificial reef was teeming with a large number of fish.
After the first dive, there was plenty of time for a break and to get to know the group. Coming from the UK, I was surprised to find that it felt more like a family than a random group of divers. Games were played, drinks were provided and much fun was had getting to know divers from all over the world. I learnt that 90% of the Qatari population consists of expats and yet I felt ever so welcome as an outsider to the group.
The second dive, at a site called New Club just along the beach from GMC, was quite eventful initially. As a PADI Rescue Diver I really should have known better than to leave my weight belt behind on the beach. Thankfully, the lovely divemaster Sara from Iran came to my rescue and found me some weights, helped me to calm down and we descended together from the surface all the way to the bottom. I would have been sunk without her, or rather I wouldn't have sunk without her! The rest of the dive went very well, we went a little deeper than the first dive and again we saw a large number of fish.
For me, it was a really special experience. Since arriving in Qatar unexpectedly just a few days ago, I have been so surprised at how welcome I have been made to feel. While some dive centres can be unwelcoming to newcomers, that was certainly not the case here with Poseidon. I would return in a heartbeat! I was fascinated to learn that Qatar has the world's largest school of whale sharks, around 400 I believe. Seeing a whale shark is a bucket list item for any serious diver or snorkeler. However, the reason there are so many in Qatar is perhaps because the area where they live is difficult to get to and they are very much protected. Perhaps I can see some on a future trip with Poseidon, on the other hand perhaps the sight of me might drive them away from Qatar to look for some peace and quiet elsewhere!

The entire team at Poseidon Dive Center is incredibly professional, welcoming, and passionate about diving. They made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, even as a complete beginner. The instructors were not only highly knowledgeable but also patient and attentive, ensuring that I understood every concept and skill thoroughly before moving forward.

Amazing dive! The water was much clearer than described and expected, and the team did a great job and took extra care once mentioned that I have had a small injury. They’ve even added massive structures to attract marine life, which made the experience so much better. A few jellyfish around but completely harmless — for Qatar this is highly recommend honestly.

It would be a great place for getting together with friends. If you want a party vibe, this place is cool and upbeat.
I thought some of the facilities should have been much more clean; the beanbags were mildewy and the shades were rickety with missing cover.
Restaurant and beach staff were really friendly, but one member of security was rude and unprofessional. Some patience and the ability to explain policies in a polite manner would have been much appreciated.
In other words, you get what you pay for. If friends ever want to go, I’ll give it another try, but for a relaxing day to myself, I’ll pay more for a hotel beach any day.

IMHO best beach were to go. Clean and tidy. Honest entrance fee (towel and 1 bottle of water, as lying seats and umbrellas included), super confortable and soft mattresses (even the most expensive beach club doesn't offer the same). staff friendly and helpful (please remember..that boys&girls works full day dressed with huge temperatures in summer). Good free wifi connection. Food&drinks a bit priced, but in line with the area. Enough space for everyone (families, ladies only.. ) would suggest to indicate an adult only area, that actually is, on the far right from entrance (sometimes an adult needs a quite place where to rest away from screams and games). Nice soundsystem settled around, may I just say, the playlist during the last month was almost always the same, could be improved by a DJ. I will definitely visit that beach again and again. Any chance for an earlier opening time ?
Great Beach Spot in Doha – Highly Recommended
Club Beach Doha was a great find. While most people kept pointing me to overpriced hotel beaches, this place offers full-day access for just 85 QAR – and you can stay until sunset, which is rare in Doha, especially in May when the heat makes late afternoon hours ideal.
Clean beach, affordable, and easy to reach. I really appreciated the women-only area – a thoughtful feature, even if the staff there could be friendlier. No smiles, no warmth, which contrasts sharply with the super kind and helpful team at the main entrance and restaurant.
Still, the overall experience was excellent. Not crowded, great vibes, and practical. I’ll definitely go back – and I strongly recommend it.

The great sculpture at the very end of MIA park is truly an art by Richard Serra, made of steel stands 80 feet tall structure which overlooks the sea at the very end of Cornish. The Doha Zoo used to be a huge fan attraction, but unfortunately it has been closed down for renovation for quite some time now. There were several reopening dates that were touted around, but so far, nothing has come out of it. The only expectation is that when it reopens, it would be an event worth remembering.
It is quite sad that one of the best landmarks in the country is still under lock and key. Would it open soon? Nobody is sure.
Now no more zoo this zoo is permanently closed but Thir is zoo in al khore park most of the animals from here shipped to al khore zoo and also added some new animals and many animals from here moved to the government private area if u wanna see animals visit al khore park and zoo don't waste your valuable time to check this place since its closed permanently

A place of discrimination. A guard at the entrance told us that we are not allowed to take photos inside. Really? I haven't heard of any zoo that prohibits picture taking. He checked the last photo on our camera and said any photos that will be added after that, he will delete. He did that to us only. Of course we also took photos when we got inside just like everybody else. When we were about to go out, we waited for him to turn his back then we ran away out for the exit.

Kids will enjoy playing and running, and you will enjoy the green landscape. There is a small gymnastics training place. Track for running and bicycle. Free parking.
This wonderful park in Katara is ideal for both hiking and cycling.
It's an okay park, the children play area was closed so the kids got nothing much to do unless they bring their own play things or cycles.
It's preferable to visit there during the day unless you prefer the night to rest calmly.
You can park in the same parking as the metro Park and Ride.
They've got enough exercise equipment.
The maze is not yet fully grown, so you won't have much of a fun experience walking in it. But the maze is small.
Fantastic experience at this park. Loved the jogging tracks, walking paths and the sand trails for dogs. Yes, it is pet friendly!

There was one area where you could go up the circle to a summit(roughly 2 floors up) for a top, Birds Eye view of the park and the surrounding area which was very unique. You can either climb the stairs or walk on the elevated path ( have really put in the thought to cater to ppl with disabilities).

Located in the Katara area of Doha, Al Thuraya Planetarium offers an exciting and educational experience for visitors of all ages. An entertaining museum for its relatively small size, but if you're not catching one of their shows, there isn't much to do and your visit will be very short. It's definitely worth visiting considering the admission is free.
This planetarium is one of the best must visit places of Qatar especially the theatrical show is an awesome experience, a different kind of screen which is round shape and covering almost 300° view. The show looks realistic, amazing and kind of 3D show without the need for wearing 3d spectacle.
The shows focus on Space science which is educational and good to learn about space and earth.
The shows are scheduled mainly on Monday & Wednesday, it's one show a day. The show details are being updated in their official website. Online booking is their first preference but didn't worked for me as the error message shown that, required seats are not available when i tried to book for 2 persons. When we visited directly, our name was registered in waiting list. Once they first finished calling online booked persons, they have called the waiting list persons. During the entire show duration, the majority of the seats were empty. So, there is high chance to experience this show even if the online booking fails. The show is free of cost.

The Fire Station Museum, formerly a Civil Defence Building housing Qatar's Fire Brigade, has been transformed into a vibrant arts space by Qatari architect Ibrahim Al Jeidah. The Garage Gallery within the museum showcases exhibitions by emerging local artists and hosts an artist-in-residence program to support talent development. The building's external walls feature murals commemorating significant events in Qatar's history.
Parking available on the back side. Good finds market during winter weekends is a unique experience. Trip down the memory lane. The main gallery was unfortunately closed. Two small galleries were open. Loads of lovely artworks in the open area.

Big part of the museum was in renovation, and honestly they should have closed it fully and reopened when everything was ready - to avoid visitors disappointment.
The old fire station turned museum is pretty cool. 🔥🚒👍 They kept a lot of the original features, which is awesome. 💯😎👍 You can even see the variety of modern ideas! 🤩💡🔥 Plus, the exhibits on the history of firefighting are really interesting. 🚒📖👍 definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. 👍🗺️✅

Beautiful and calm space that inspires creativity, there is the 999 cafe and CASS Art Qatar shop. Also an amazing facility for events with the 999 cafe able to cater for the food and drinks. If you like art it is a hidden gem!

Recently I visited the 'good finds market' at Doha fire station. It's very interesting. They have craft, second hand products, paintings, pottery and food stalls etc... you can spend your evening here.
We visited the Fire Station to experience the Pipilotti Rist: Electric Idyll exhibition. I must say it was a mixed but enjoyable experience.
Booking online was seamless, and as residents, we appreciated the free entry. However, it's important not to set high expectations as the exhibition is contained within one large room. This setup worked well for us since our kids loved the freedom to run around and explore. The ambiance initially felt a bit eerie due to the background music, but this added to the artistic vibe once we settled in. We ended up spending a good half an hour, with the children thoroughly engaged in playful exploration.

Bounce Doha is a sports complex where visitors can fly through the air, bounce off walls and embrace their inner child with every leap. I visited Bounce Doha with my daughter and my friend’s son and daughter, and they had an amazing time! The kids loved jumping around and burning off energy. It’s a fun and safe environment for them to play and be active.
The place is well-organized and clean, with plenty of space for kids to enjoy themselves. It’s a great spot for families looking for an energetic and fun activity. Highly recommended for a fun day out with kids!

Great place with excellent potential. But it’s such a shame — and honestly disappointing — to see the kind of food and drinks being promoted. It feels contradictory to claim to support sport and health while including very sweet, unhealthy drinks in kids’ packages. Offering these for free sends the wrong message and undermines the positive values this place could stand for.

Water park
Meryal Waterpark, located in Lusail, Qatar, is a top summer destination just 22 minutes away from Doha. Despite some waterslides being temporarily closed for maintenance, the park offers an enjoyable experience with friendly and helpful staff. The park's sleek modern design and impressive engineering make it a beautiful attraction boasting the world's tallest water slide called the Vertigo.
The best water park I've been to. Every slide was great. So much variety and not crazy queues. Wait for food was excessive but didn't spoil the day. Definitely recommend Getting a re-fillable soft drink cup. Also the floor is hot so aqua shoes would be advantageous.

It was an amazing experience, including 53 slides and 69 total attractions. Embark on a thrilling ride at the Icon Tower, making it the world's tallest tower and the most prominent attraction in Meryal. When ready for a change of pace, head to the beachfront, where the sandy shores provide an excellent unrivalled opportunity to relax, enjoy the sea breeze or dine at one of the inviting food outlets.
Meryal is considered as one of the best water parks in GCC, due to its diverse rides. However, the quality of the food served is a major concern. It would be better if they allowed well-known brands to serve food inside the park, as the food is very poor, the options are limited, and the service is not up to standard .
-The place itself isn’t organized well for how big it is. So many slides –which is nice– but felt lost most of the time.
-we were stuck in on our first ride that day. They had to stop the slide and take us out of it. Very scary experience 😓 i think i have a waterparks phobia after that day. Specially when the design of the park look like a rusty industrial building.

I was fortunate to be able to visit (solo) on a Tuesday, as I can imagine weekends and holidays will be super busy here.

Some advice if you can: wear wet booties that you don't have to take off for the rides. The anti slip floors can become a little harsh on the bottom of your feet after running around for many hours.

Also booked a room at the Grand Hyatt to relax at throughout the day and change for dinner. It was very affordable and well worth it.

Monkey Tale is a trendy beach club at the Grand Hyatt, offering free access to its private beach. The food is delicious, with great food options. Ladies get free drinks on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. It’s easily accessible by metro, with the Msheireb station nearby. A great spot to relax and enjoy good food.
The only reason I will give it an average rating is due to staff ethics.
When you call them and ask to reserve a sun bed they immediately reply by first come first serve.
However, when you go there you notice that many sun beds are reserved by the staff for regulars.
The beach club is nice and has good music but I think the management should level up the service and train staff.

The place itself was pleasant, and the bartenders and waiters provided good service. Unfortunately, the experience was spoiled by the administrator Diana whose attitude toward customers was unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s a pity, because everything else was great — but because of her behavior, our overall impression is very disappointing.
To be honest, it was not a beach club that appealed to me. Why? Because they do not have sun beds on the beach, they have a tiny pool, it is very difficult to swim, because the pool is very crowded. The number of sun beds in the pool is also not enough. You have to go very early to get a seat. It is mostly a place where young groups between the ages of 18-25 go, I don't think it is suitable for going with a family. The entrance fee is 150 QAR, you can spend it at the bar, this is the most advantageous part.
Good price but bad service. They ran out of towels and the security guard and lifeguard did not feel like it was a problem for us to wait 5-10 min with us standing outside in front of them.

Souq Wakra, located just 100 meters from Al Wakrah beach in Qatar, offers a delightful experience for visitors. Visited Souk Al Wakra on a lovely December morning in 2024, and it was a peaceful and refreshing experience. The cool breeze along the seaside made for a perfect stroll. Started the day with a delicious, hearty breakfast from a Yemeni restaurant—authentic flavors and warm hospitality. The quiet morning vibe, traditional architecture, and serene atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and explore. Highly recommended!

Absolutely worthwhile. It's right on the beach. Great vibes and atmosphere. Summer time it's only open from around 4pm until 11pm, because it's just too hot. The Al Wakrah beach with far stretches of sand is to the left of the Old Souq, and s lovely end to the day.
Closed during the times of 11 am and 5pm I believe when it is unbearably hot so keep that in mind because I unfortunately came at the wrong time and it was so far out to reach, it the longest trip I had taken during my stay in Doha, all for nought.
The Souk itself looked wonderfully designed and the shop categories so well organised with an almost Arabian fairy tale-like enchanting feel.
Pity I wasn't able to enjoy the real shopping experience as the shops were closed during the day in the "summer" season
Went to watch the sunrise around 5:30 am. It was a magical experience, not too many people at all just a few and it was very peaceful. The view was unreal. Felt like it was something out of a movie. No cafes or anything open yet tho so had to go back w/o any tea :( but kinda worth it. Plus got a chance to say hi to the camels too.
It's a good bazaar with lots of restaurants, cafes and shopping places with 🇶🇦 traditional stuff and non traditional items. Plus there are activities for the kids like camel ride train ride pets shops.

Snow Dunes Theme Park, located in Doha Festival City, offers an exhilarating experience with its 9,500 square meters of snow-covered area and approximately 12 family-friendly games. The park features attractions such as 50-meter-long slides, continuous Snow Guns producing snow at temperatures not exceeding -4 degrees Celsius, snowball fights, Snow Motion, and Snow Storm.
Nice place for a change from the beating sun outside. You get clean snow outfits including socks and gloves. Kids get helmets.
I d say it s more for smaller kids as they only got some slides here so it's not very challenging

Went here with my family, it’s great for kids. There are 2 or 3 payment options, we went for the basic one where you ride each ride once and get to go down the slope as much as you want. We spent 2 hours or so and felt like it was enough.
You don’t need to bring any jackets or so as they give you the suit with the gloves and helmets.
They had one main slope which was nice, a bumping go kart kind of ride, a side, and a different kind of slide where it’s mechanically operated - all were fun.
They have a snack area as well where you can buy small snacks like chips and juices - we got Doritos there.
I highly recommend this for a family with kids as they will enjoy the simulation of the snow.
I had the best experience at Snow Dunes, Doha Festival City, with my wife! The place is beautifully designed and gives a real winter vibe in the middle of Qatar. The rides and activities were so much fun, and everything was well-organized and safe. Staff were friendly and helpful, which made our visit even better. A perfect spot for families and couples to enjoy a unique snow adventure. Definitely worth visiting!
We got the unlimited access package for the three parks which includes this one. The place was well-maintained, staff were helpful and the place was quite packed. There were not many games options and the souvenir shop was disappointing. But it was a fun experience nevertheless.
Nice experience. Good to chill for a change. However, not so many options were available. We bought a regular day pass (2 hours), but we were done in almost an hour or so. The small ice skating rink is small, if they allocate a bigger space it would be more exciting. The long slide could be more engaging if it was filled with some snow in a way or another. The slope is great and can be used unlimited times.

Firstly, the staff are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and helpful. From the ticket staff, assistants inside the park to the security guards.
There is so much to keep busy with and the staff do their best to make it extra special.
The Tuesdays Snow Days are great value for money 89QAR, it includes 2 hours of fun and a goodie bag with a warm muffin, water and crisps, as well as a key ring.
If you want to avoid the crowds, book your ticket for 10am as soon as the Park opens.

I purchased two tickets for the Tuesday offer, expecting a fun time for my kids. Unfortunately, the place was extremely crowded, and my children couldn’t enjoy any of the exciting rides because of the long waiting lines and poor crowd control.
There was no proper organization at all, and no difference between VIP tickets and regular ones. It was complete chaos. Honestly, I felt like asking for a refund because the experience didn’t match what was advertised.
Amazing place to visit with your kids. So much fun! The best thing we did - entered park at the opening hour. No queue, no waiting for the rides, we enjoyed playing in the snow too much!

Camel Pen, located on the northern edge of Souq Waqif in Doha, is a unique attraction where visitors can observe single-humped female camels. The pen is situated near the Corniche and opposite the Souq Waqif garden. Despite being tethered, the camels have some freedom of movement and are provided with hay and salt blocks for nourishment. Some are adorned with cloth or masks.
Free camel observation spot. Workers are very kind letting us take pictures and stand close to the camels. This is a must see spot in Doha. Also it’s completely free to enter. 🆓 🆓 🆓

We went along for the camel parade at 4pm. Not a handful of people there. We were invited in to feed the camels. Over 50 camels in the pen. They parade from across the palace (?) and back to the pen where they are unsaddled, tethered and fed.
DO NOT COME. Horrible, animal abuse. All camels are attached to the floor with a rope, that allows them to walk half a metre, I saw them trying to move forward and seeing their face when they see themselves they can't move it is so sad. They have no water or food and it was so hot there. The energy of sadness there is horrible, all camels are very sad and suffering, they even scream, their eyes look so sad. The owner leaves for many hours after 12 and all camels are alone for many hours. Please, let's stop this animal abuse, do not come.

There are camels in this Area & it has mini fence which blocks camels from crossing while having Areas Through which you can see & interact with them, Take photos with them - the camels are very friendly and calm!

It's remarkable that Doha offers numerous intriguing free attractions, and one such gem is the Camel Pen situated on the northern edge of Souq Waqif. Located near corniche and opposite the Souq Waqif garden, this unique site boasts a multitude of single-humped, female camels. Despite having their front legs tethered, they can still move around slightly. The camels are provided with hay and a salt block for nourishment. Some are adorned with cloth on their backs, while others wear masks. However, I couldn't help but ponder and hope that these majestic creatures are granted free time to roam and enjoy their freedom, rather than being confined solely for the entertainment of tourists.
It's definitely worth stopping here to see the camels. The camels are so cute, but I wish they were able to move around more.

Don't expect any super amazing rides though. What's here is all extremely chilled. Even my wife that doesn't go anywhere near rides was able to do everything here with ease.
Fun place for the kids as long as they aren't like my kids that are only keen on very scary rides. Think younger kids (five years and below should love it).

We're extremely disappointed as a supplier who worked with Fun City. As a leading advertising company in Qatar, we were initially invited to modify their entrance design which was not too engaging. We submitted some designs, which they were happy with. Later, they requested modifications, and we completed them on time whenever asked. This process continued for around 2 years. Finally, they were very pleased with our design. Afterward, we communicated with them multiple times to start executing the design, but unfortunately, they ignored our calls and didn't respond. A few months later, we sadly discovered that they had executed the exact same design in the same location with another supplier, without even consulting us or paying us a single riyal. This experience serves as a lesson for us, and we're sharing it to warn others not to waste their efforts and time if you are a supplier for them.

Tonight around 6pm. I just experienced a Poor customer service/assistance from one of their indian male staff ( situated at bump car ). Sorry and sad to say to the management but Mr. Azhardulla ( as i read his name from a couple of meters far ) just really doesn't care and look just really lazy from assisting the kids riding in the bump car. The ignorance about the kids was really evident from the said inidian male staff..Very disappointing.
We went here yesterday for a few hours, I would describe it as "ok". But there are many reasons you just shouldn't bother.
- Eye-wateringly expensive, price-gouging ex-pats as usual
- Plus point is that it's on the Entertainer app so you spend 100 QAR and get another 100 QAR for free. This only slightly numbs the pain. If you do not have the Entertainer app, you may need to re-mortgage your house in order to enter without fainting.
- The pricing "system" is deliberately confusing in order to monetise parents. They have:
1. 'normal' level rides and games
2. 'bonus' level rides and games
3. machines which require a completely different currency ('tokens')
4. what I like to call "let's monetise you when you turn up" rides where you pay extra eg. soft play/trampolines etc.

The glass door at the children’s play area is a safety hazard. It needs to be unreachable to the kids as it could hurt them. If anyone encountered it they’d know what I’m talking about.

A beautiful, peaceful garden with a unique collection of trees snd plants. A play area for chokdrrn , plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Located next to the university mosque, which is stunning in its architecture. It is peaceful and tranquil, it has good access for wheelchair users.
All staff are welcoming and accommodating. Accessible via metro or taxi.
Oxygen Park is a beautiful and serene place, featuring a wonderful collection of botanical and natural plants. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty.
Don't go on a hot day. There's almost no air conditioning and very little shelter. On the other hand if you are a dedicated Qu'ranic scholar you might enjoy it.

Great experience on the waterfront . Short boat ride around the bay to see the lights come on in all the buildings. Makes it an espectular view from the water. Prices are reasonable. Lots of boats. Bargin for your fare. Better with group of friends. Also great for couples.

I first when he went to this place it feels overwhelming. There are so many activities for kids to do but then as you go through it it becomes a lot more manageable and palatable.
It was a good day with a little one. He spent a few hours there and wasn't bored. The slides are fun, and it's a great hangout for families
We went with our kids expecting to have a fun and safe time, but it turned out to be the opposite. There was absolutely no supervision or control over the children’s behavior. A group of kids kept pushing my daughter, and at one point, it almost caused a serious accident.
What’s worse is that even after we reported it to the staff, they did nothing. The administrators just stood by and watched without stepping in, speaking to the kids, or taking any kind of action. We had no choice but to leave early because the same group of kids kept bothering us, and it was clear that the staff had no intention of intervening.
Very disappointing and definitely not a safe environment for young children.
Few games only and time is less and fee are high and without prize tickets (which kids love to win). Different play area for babies and grown ups for 50QR and 80QR which is quite high, also my child got some abruises.
Its a nice playground also,and staff are really helping the kids to enjoy..
You can find much better places for this price. The area is not big and the staff makes sure you leave the place even before your time is up. 2 hours for 80 QAR and they start calling 15 mins early for you to go out. Unprofessional staff.
