Guest house
Nestled in the heart of the Mazarin district, known for its numerous museums, MAISON DU COLLECTIONNEUR is a stylish guesthouse that exudes an intimate atmosphere reminiscent of a private art gallery. Each of its 6 rooms is uniquely designed with contemporary art pieces and vibrant colors, drawing inspiration from renowned artists like Fornasetti and Madeleine Castaing.
Location is great, everything walkable. The staff very attentive and gave us many restaurant recommendations. Room very clean and comfortable. Quiet side street. Slept well. There are stairs, but they are very kind to help us with bags. So the stairs are not a problem. The art and general decor is fashionable and fun. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

More than a stay, an "experience". Came with another couple and had an amazing time in this old-city jewel. Silvio and Emma took such good care of us, even helping me in advance with a birthday champagne greeting for my wife and arranging a car service to our next destination. Take advantage of the beautiful courtyard and lobby for drinks with friends before exploring the city's nightlife and restaurant scene. As others have mentioned, there are stairs but the staff brought our luggage both up and down without hesitation. Right in the downtown. Need to know that your Uber can NOT drive to the front door, so have their WhatsApp handy to call and they meet you on a nearby street, a short walk away. Again, no need to lift a thing. Would absolutely recommend and return again.

Our daughter in law from Avignon discovered this wonderful guest house. It is situated on a quiet street in the center of the city, convenient to all the fine shops and restaurants. Our hosts were kind and hospitable. Our room was so comfortable, decorated tastefully with lovely views onto a beautiful courtyard. We slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Your visit to Provence must include a stop here. A memorable stay, for sure!

As everyone else says, this boutique art hotel, so unassuming from the outside, is very cute once you enter the red door. We had a spacious artfully decorated room with the Nespresso machine, fridge, good closet space, great wifi, etc. BUT note that there are no elevators - a big problem for my 83 yo mother - but not hotel’s fault. Also our room only had a bathtub, no shower - again, big issue for my mom and a bit difficult even for me too. However, the location is killer, walking distance to the super cute Old Town. We picked up our picnic stuff - bread, wine, rotisserie chicken, olives - at the nearby stores and enjoyed our lunch on their cute terrace. Most importantly, their staff is awesome. They have a washing machine…for FREE! Huge benefit after coming off a cruise. They even sent the clean clothes back to our room folded. Way above expectations.
Alan T — Google review
This is a very nice, comfortable, small hotel with, I think, six guest rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated, including with a lot of interesting art collected (hence the name) by the owner. It is very nicely located just off the rue d’Italie in the historic residential district just south of the Cours Mirabeau, which is the main street and best place for orienting yourself in Aix. Even the street-side rooms are quite quiet. The people who run the place are remarkable—warm, helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and efficient. It’s kind of like staying with friends of good friends, but with more fun people than usually found in that situation.

Excellent place to stay. We arrived later than expected, and the host had waited for us (bear in mind that this is not a hotel and there isn't 24-h reception), and welcomed us with the greatest warmth and politeness. He was extremely kind and took our luggage up the three floors. In general, staff were absolutely lovely and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and with fantastic design. The location is great, in the elegant and calm Mazarin neighborhood. Our room was the loft and was lavishly decorated, just as the rest of the place. We only have very minor comments. There wasn't much space to keep our belongings in the bathroom or to lay things while getting ready. There isn't a lift and you may have to climb up to floor 3 or up some steps to the room's mezzanine. We also missed having a table to work and we could hear the neighbours quite easily. The decoration was lovely and original, with superb taste!

Incredible boutique gem in Aix! We stayed for 4 nights and were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. Silvio greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home. The terrace is beautiful, we picnicked out there for lunch and had coffee every morning. Emma & Silvio helped us prepare our nespresso each morning to our liking and went above and beyond to make the stay great. The room was superb and refreshed daily. The staff was also extremely attentive with helping us make taxi reservations to the train station. The room is spacious and the location of the hotel is perfect and walkable to everything Old Town has to offer! We hope to be back to this small slice of Provence Paradise!!
Neely A — Google review
Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Aix! Rooms are spacious as well as have charm and character. Lots of fun art! We had a lovely view over the back garden, where we enjoyed a bottle of wine. The team is very kind and committed to everyone having a great stay. The only challenge is parking, but there is easy public parking that is a 5 min walk away and they shared with us the options before arriving. My parents loved this place as well!

Resort hotel
Hôtel Aquabella & Spa Aix en Provence is a relaxed and charming hotel located in the heart of the Thermes district. The hotel offers comfortable deluxe rooms, an upscale restaurant serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and a bar for unwinding after exploring the city. The real highlight is its spa, featuring a Finnish sauna, two hammams, a whirlpool, and an outdoor heated swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy various massage treatments inspired by different cultural themes.
This hotel/spa/restaurant is delightful. This is my first trip abroad and this place did not disappoint. It's located within walking distance of everything you need in Aix, or for a bus to somewhere else. The spa was absolutely amazing and the jacuzzi was welcome after a long day of exploring. I was extremely impressed with the restaurant, too. The food was perfection! Highly recommend if you're in Aix-en-Provence!

We stayed in the suite. It was clean. The room was very clean, the bathroom looked like a spa and the customer service was very accommodating. The pool was relaxing with a bar. The evening bartender knew our drink of choice on day 2. Highly recommend this place.
Beth A — Google review
I was excited to stay at Aquabella for my first trip to Provence, expecting a charming boutique hotel surrounded by nature. Instead, it’s located in the old town, which felt a bit run-down. The staff were lovely and very helpful, but the hotel itself was disappointing—the room was small, dated, and had a moldy smell. Breakfast was included, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t very inviting. Great service, but the hotel didn’t match the photos or the vibe I was hoping for.
Tal O — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were lovely and the staff was very friendly and professional. They helped me out quite a bit with taxis to and from hard to get to places. I was too busy to use any of the pool, spa, workout, or dining facilities but those all looked very extensive and inviting as well.
Jennifer S — Google review
I stayed here on my honeymoon, overall we had a very lovely stay. We did not eat at the restaurant but enjoyed the bar selections. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms spacious. Ultimately, we selected this hotel to take advantage of the attached spa and partnership benefits. After check in we went to the spa to schedule a massage, they did not have any more availability that day so they suggested we make an appointment for the following the day. Which we did. The massage was wonderful! However, at check out we were told they would not apply the advertised discount of being a hotel resident because the massage was not the same day as the day we booked it. This was a complete surprise as no one - not the 2 people at the spa or the check in staff we asked told us this detail. We were very disappointed to be leaving on such a note after a great stay. I am mostly leaving this comment so anyone else who decides to stay at this hotel, for this reason, is not tricked out of their discount and can go in with all the information.
Trudy W — Google review
Unfortunately, this hotel has seen better days. The staff was fantastic and so kind and this review in no way reflects them, but the hotel itself was not up to par. My room was covered in dust and more than likely dust mites in the bedding, triggering an allergic reaction. As soon as I turned on the light, visible dust was seen over the counters and remote. I woke up with hives every morning due to this. I also killed multiple spiders in the room. The shower was poorly constructed and would flood water onto the floor. The rooms are in need of a major upgrade. The hotel itself is in a great location and the pool with drink service was a great touch. However, I would not recommend this hotel especially if you have allergies. Also a 500 euro deposit is insane.
Ericca C — Google review
Very much enjoyed our stay here. Lovely peaceful hotel, perfectly situated, enjoyed the pool and the spa facilities, nice spacious and comfortable rooms. Very much as advertised. Not a single complaint and very happy to recommend.
Mr J — Google review
Just inside the old town, but so much property space available due to its location on the perimeter. Nice to be out of the hub bub, as needed, but within walking distance of entire old town. Magnificent suite of rooms on corner (Jardine de Provence AKA 503) overlooks to the north the pool and ancient city wall tower, at a distance, incorporated into the hotel property. Fabulous view of Cathedral of the Saviour to east. Spacious: even the bathroom felt larger than our 1 room rental in Paris. Excellent service at front desk and bars. We did not avail ourselves of the spa. Parking is very close to the property. Worth the splurge in price to visit this charming AIX-EN-PROVENCE.

Bed & breakfast
Domaine de Saint Clair is a charming rural hotel located in a 17th-century property just outside the vibrant town of Aix-en-Provence. The venue offers airy rooms, an outdoor pool, and a garden for guests to enjoy. The hostess, Florence, provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of local information to ensure a memorable stay. Guests can indulge in fresh and delicious breakfasts with numerous options laid out every morning.
This place is a wonderful surprise! The highlight was Florence's warm and attentive service. The rooms are luxurious, spotless and tastefully decorated, the bed is extremely comfortable, the setting is ver y nice, and the pool surrounded by beautiful trees is a dream come true for relaxation. The location is just 8 minutes from the center of Aix by car, making it very convenient. The breakfast was also perfect
Pedro C — Google review
We stayed for one night for our final night in Provence due to the location (10mins from Aix and 25mins from the airport by car). Florence was a great host who kept us up to date with the bookin and check-in process, and laid out an excellent breakfast in the morning (some really delicious breads and cheeses). Every detail has been carefully thought through, with products locally sourced and high quality. The house and grounds are beautiful, all immaculate kept and very quiet and calming. The room was incredibly clean, tastefully decorated and cool. The A/C in the room was also very quiet, I had the best night's sleep of the holiday (there is also a menu which describes the pillows and bedding in detail). Large pool was private, with a beautiful outlook onto the gardens. A lovely way to end our holiday in the South of France, thank you.
James H — Google review
We booked this place for 1 night to make a quick stop at Provence. Little did we know, it became the highlight of our France trip. What a stunning place. The place is not only so beautiful, spacious and located 5 minutes drive to the downtown area, also it amazed us with the well thought details. For example the hair dryer was top quality. The cheese at the breakfast was one of the best cheeses we tasted throughout the France trip. The fresh smell of the sheets, the quality of the mattress. Attention to detail was top notch. The owner Florence is so lovely, tasteful and elegant. She reflected her qualities to this wonderful place.
Ece B — Google review
We had a beautiful stay at Domaine de Saint Clair, the property is stunning, the rooms were lovely and the host Florence was very kind, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great. A great base to explore Provence. We will be back!
Jessica T — Google review
incredible stay with every detail thought of by the host, Florence. Lovely property that was spacious and quiet. It’s very close to the town too! We were on the ground floor and loved having the terrace in front of us. Breakfast was also on the ground floor but you could not hear anything from within the room. Florence laid out a wonderful breakfast which included locally made jams and they were delicious. I would not think twice before booking here again and already want to plan my next trip!
Mary A — Google review
My husband and I had the most peaceful and beautiful stay here! The BNB host is so kind and made us fell at home. The entire place is decorated with attention to details and felt so luxurious. We were able to easily uber back and forth to Aix en Provence from the BNB even though it’s more secluded. We loved everything about our stay and hope to come back!
Natalie H — Google review
We loved everything about this domaine. The grounds are so beautiful and the pool is the best! The room, space, breakfast were all great. Lovely hosts always helped us out and gave advice. This is a truly private and peaceful place for couples. We will be back!!

We just stayed at the Domaine for 2 nights and loved every minute of it (both sunshine and rain!). The property and especially the grounds are incredibly beautiful, spacious and very well kept. It was also very secure and attention was given to every detail. Breakfast was also great and very fresh. Many thanks to Florence for the warm welcome, suggestions and availability during our stay.

Bed & breakfast
The bed and breakfast Villa Roumanille is located in a typical Provencal house, with a garden and terrace. It offers clean rooms with comfortable beds. Aix-en-Provence and its cliffs are a 30-minute drive away.
South of France as we dream of it. Our amazing suite was thoughtfully furnished and authentically decorated, breakfast is delicious and the lovely family running the place adds the cutest charm to this true Provence gem. A detail we loved was the turntable and vinyls, free to use in the living room.
Marie A — Google review
I only recommend this B&B if it’s summer or spring, I went in winter and the stay was terrible… the room was freezing even though the AC was on the highest… the room (and bathroom) wasn’t heated before we arrived which played a role… location is excellent but that’s all.. if you’re going during cold seasons just go to a hotel… plus why is the sink in another room and not near the toilet! It’s not sanitary
Abed S — Google review
The place is absoluteky great and the owner Cédric went out of hi way to make our stay perfect. A few small things might need refreshing for a longer stay: the bed creaked and the pillows were a bit old which made it difficult to fully enjoy our nights. Other than that everything was great, especially as we stayed there with our dog.
Aleksandra C — Google review
A beautiful and tastefully decorated, large family home converted to a cozy B&B. The hosts were kind, communicative, and very accommodating to my special requests. It was a perfect location to stay for my conference at the nearby university, but you can easily walk into the old city along a clear and simple route. I would certainly stay again, but hopefully in the summer, to enjoy the garden!
Alexis M — Google review
Had a wonderful stay here at the end of April. Cedric and Delphine were great hosts. Such a great bonus to stay in lovely B&B with parking and walking distance to the centre of Aix. Our room was so spacious it felt like we were staying in a stately home.
Steve F — Google review
We booked it last minute and it was lovely. The hosts are great and very relaxed. The rooms are nice. It has a lovely and peaceful garden. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruits and croissants. Can highly recommend!
Corinne S — Google review
Lovely friendly place which was a quiet retreat. Only 10-12 mins walk into the old town along a straight road. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast very tasty and filling. The rooms were clean and overall it was a great place to spend a week in the lovely Aix en Provence.

The guest house Maison Jalon is a creative and stylish place with friendly and helpful hosts. It is close to Aix-en-Provence, an amazing small and lively city, with its gorgeous bays. The guest house also has beautiful gardens and a pool lot.
Maison Jalon is beautiful. It’s exceptionally clean, well designed, and supported with excellent hosts. We unfortunately had to leave a day early due to personal reasons but Dimitri was very understanding. We wish we had the chance to stay longer and visit more of the region. We hope to be back and we recommend this accommodation to anyone!
Mark L — Google review
We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and each morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the garden when the weather allowed. We especially loved the spacious pool set in a well-kept garden—perfect for relaxing. The owners were fantastic: warm, friendly, and welcoming hosts. We’d be happy to come back and highly recommend staying here!
Irina W — Google review
We had such a great time at Maison Jalon! It was exactly what we were looking for – close enough to Aix-en-Provence to explore easily, yet peaceful, surrounded by nature, with the bonus of a pool and parking. The arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow, and Dimitri and Laetitia were so warm and welcoming, sharing fantastic tips and recommendations. The hotel’s design is playful, unique, and thoughtfully detailed in every corner. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
מאי ב — Google review
This is my second time staying at Maison Jalon. The property is stunning, amazing long pool and many options to relax and chill in the garden. The decor is charming with lots of attention to detail and design, rooms are quaint with everything you need along with your own balcony overlooking the garden. And for those hot days, like it was for us, there is A/C in the rooms. Latitia and Dimitri are lovely hosts and very helpful if you’re looking for tips on what to do. There is so much to see and do in the area so we prolonged our stay for a 3rd night. It’s only an 8 minute drive into Aix and we appreciated the tranquility of Maison Jalon away from the bustle and crowds after a day on the go.
FRank K — Google review
This was a lovely little stay just outside of Aix! The design of the property is very special. It felt laidback but polished. Easy parking. The rooms were so sweetly decorated and had all of the essentials, including nice soaps. Breakfast in the garden was beautiful and tasted amazing - our favorite was the croissant French toast with lavender honey!
Alexandra F — Google review
We had the perfect weekend here relaxing in the peaceful garden, laying by the pool & playing pétanque. The setting is incredible, and Dimitri & Laetitia were the most friendly hosts. Truly looking forward to coming back.
Sin S — Google review
It's a wonderful destination for 4 to 5 days to relax near Aix en Provence. Letitia and Dimitri are very friendly and caring, calm hosts. They show a great taste in the combination of cubist brutalist architecture that feels very clean, cozy and comfortable at the same time - together with a colorful interior design (partially Moroccan inspired) and very well laid out garden. The rooms are small, but don't feel that way given the full size window and the large balcony with an astonishing view across the garden and pool. The breakfast is delicious (esp. the freshly baked croissants), but does not have fromage or viande (we didn't miss them). The garden and pool allow you to relax. If you get bored, you can play ping pong or boule. Aix en Provence is just 15min away by car and there are plenty of other things to see nearby. When you come with a low car, the last 100m on the dirt road approaching Maison Jalon are a bit challenging, but manageable. It's definitely a 5 star recommendation and we would gladly be coming back.
Francis T — Google review
My wife and I spent four nights here at the end of August. We stayed in the Romantique suite on the second floor and it was very nice. Good bed, linens and nice little deck with a view to the property. The decoration is very unique, it feels like every piece was hand picked. It really isn’t a hotel, it’s a room in their home! Dmitry and Leticia are very gracious hosts. Breakfast was very good, with a very memorable croissant pain perdu! The pool area was very nice as well. This is a perfect spot close enough to Aix but in the countryside. Highly recommended!

Bed & breakfast
Pavillon de Beauregard is a delightful bed and breakfast situated just outside the city center of Aix-en-Provence, offering a peaceful garden setting with individual outdoor dining areas for each room. This charming inn, once an abandoned hunting villa dating back to the Middle Ages and 17th century, has been transformed into cozy accommodations with modern amenities. Nestled on a hill above Aix-en-Provence, it provides a rustic yet inspiring environment with panoramic views and starry nights.
We had such a lovely time during our stay! This B&B is so charming and special -- with incredible views, wonderfully decorated spaces, a truly delicious breakfast spread provided by Jerome, a great pool, and so conveniently and closely located near Aix. My husband and I truly fell in love with this place and hope to be back soon. Can't recommend it highly enough - pure magic!

Everything was excellent. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The house and grounds are super beautiful, cosy and with just 3 Rooms quite private too. In our opinion, this is a gem. We will be back for sure.

Excellent stay. Gerard and Carole were wonderful hosts. Nice breakfast and great swimming pool. Very well located near Aix.
Rum C — Google review
We had such a wonderful stay. I only wish we could have remained here for more than one night. The Pavillon is in a nice, tucked away location just out of town. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. We were warmly greeted by I believe our host’s son, Axel, who kindly brought us a glass of wine as soon as we settled in. We were lucky to relax to the sound of one of his original compositions on the piano. We especially enjoyed Jacqueline’s paintings- her use of color is just magnificent. It was a treat to be hosted by such a friendly and talented family! If you are visiting when it is hot- make sure to bring a bathing suit so you can take advantage of the pool. If anything, it was nice to dip our feet in after a long day in town.
Amelia T — Google review
This Bed & Breakfast is a converted hunting house that dates back to some parts Middle Ages and other parts 17th century, belongs to the owner, Jerome’s family. It is located just outside of Aix-en-Provence, about 14 minutes by car through some windy roads. It is a very charming location, on a hill. It has the feel of a country manor. During our winter visit, there was a thin layer of snow on the ground! Jerome greeted us, our room was ready. It was cozy with all of the modern amenities. There were complementary drinks in the fridge and water, coffee, and tea. The towel warmer was appreciated. And there were small thoughtful touches throughout the room. Breakfast was at the common area. Jerome had an assortment of breads, pastries, and jams ready for us, and made eggs to order. Everything was delicious and a great way to start a day of exploring. We discussed our plans to see the Luberon Villages, and Jerome provided us with a list of villages in the order to see them, which we found quite helpful. We would stay here again.

Pavillon de Beauregard is a little gem in Aix-en-Provence. As difficult to find as your experience will be tremendous! On top of a cliff, this old medieval house has the best views, with comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, and a large garden. Breakfast is not to be missed, neither the summer BBQ prepare by the hosts. Very attentative, friendly, and helpful.

Le Mas des Pignes is a charming bed and breakfast located just 1.8 kilometers from the city center of Aix-en-Provence. Nestled among pine trees on a high hill, this peaceful retreat offers a serene setting with a large swimming pool and a beautiful garden. The accommodation options include well-equipped rooms with independence from the main house, providing guests with comfort and privacy.
Nested in a beautiful and peaceful Provencal landscape the Mas des Pignes offers a little slice of heaven to all South of France lovers. Just a few steps away from the city center, yet far enough to feel like you're in the countryside, this house feels like an oasis! The setting is just the first of many things I've enjoyed about my stay. The hostess: Florence is a ray of sunshine and so there for anything you need. The house itself was really well equipped and the bedding felt like sleeping on a cloud. Overall amazing stay and highly recommend for all those who want to discover Provence at its finest!

I recently had the most beautiful stay at a charming house in Provence. The tranquility of the surroundings provided a perfect escape, yet it was conveniently within walking distance to the city-center of Aix-en-Provence. The mix of peace and accessibility made for an unforgettable experience, allowing me to enjoy both countryside and the lively local culture. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the best of both worlds!

Great and friendly hosty and a brand new restaurated provence house. Add on: a beautiful swimming pool and a yammi breakfast.

We booked a room with them for July - the peak season, 10 months in advance, in a personal message. The owner replied that everything was fine, she didn't know the exact prices now, they might change, and promised to write to us 2 months before our arrival with the exact figures. We were very worried that they wouldn't forget, but the owner reassured us, writing that everything was fine: « Good morning Rinat I usually open 2 months in advance but if you know already your dates , I can write in my note and make a prebooking for you . Regards Florence » We wrote to her 4 months in advance, but the owner replied that her family was coming, and therefore she wouldn't rent out the apartment on our dates and she had forgotten about us altogether! It's very difficult to find suitable apartments with a pool at a normal price during the high season, everything decent has long been booked. And if we hadn't written to her, but waited, as she told us, for her to write to us herself, then our vacation would have been wasted! Plans could change, that's understandable, but how can you not warn your guests about it and just forget about them - that's completely incomprehensible. This is a terrible attitude towards your guests! We really don't recommend this place, you will be abandoned to your fate at any moment and you will be left to spend the night on the street!

The bed and breakfast Château de Saint-Girons is located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France, close to Cours Mirabeau. The property offers accommodation with free WiFi and a children's playground. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. There is also a shared lounge and free private parking available. The bed and breakfast offers continental or buffet breakfasts.
The B&B was a beautiful building from the 1700s and it was renovated to accommodate guests. The rooms were spacious, gorgeous, and clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. The backyard was huge and the owners dog, Jacks, loves to walk with guests. The breakfast was great and the owner was very nice and helpful. The location was excellent because you could get around quickly. Overall the experience was great and I definitely recommend.

Excellent accommodation with service at another level. No request was ever too much for owner, Clement!! The chateau is set in large and really interesting grounds which are great fun to wander around.

I had the chance to stay at this beautiful place for 2 nights and my experience was truly wonderful. The host, Clement, was very attentive; he welcomed us warmly and gave very detailed information about the property. The property is only 6 km from the center, which makes it very easy to reach everywhere. The common area mini bar was more than sufficient. The water fountain and the reusable flasks provided were such a thoughtful detail. During our stay, our room was cleaned and tidied up every day. There were even towels prepared for use at the pool. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10, and it was a delightful, truly French breakfast — very delicious. And I must mention Jackie! Jackie is the sweetest Boxer. If he likes you, he will roll over and let you pet his belly — such a heartwarming moment. 😊 It was my first time staying in such a history-filled place, and it has become one of the unforgettable experiences of my life. I would definitely love to come back! ♥️

We had a magical stay at this Château. Clément and Sarah have thought of every detail to make the experience perfect. The rooms are sparkling clean, beautiful and spacious. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The grounds are wonderful to walk and explore. Their dog Jax is so sweet! I give this 10 out of 10! We can’t wait to return someday.

We had the best stay at Château de Saint-Girons! Clément and Sarah were amazing hosts. Clément in particular went above and beyond - trying to help us track our missing bags and giving us local recommendations. The chateau itself is absolutely amazing! The grounds, the decor, the location, and the fact that it's a third generation owned home. It's incredible. The hospitality is also amazing - freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning, warm croissants, it's the best! If you're wondering whether or not to book a stay, absolutely do it! If we're ever back in Provence, we'll definitely stay again. Thank you Clément and Sarah!

We stayed there at the beginning of April for three nights and it was a magnificent spot to start to explore the city of Aix and the Provence as well as to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the family that own the place. The rooms were spacious with great decoration, comfortable and quiet. Really beautiful garden , unfortunately we could not enjoy the pool ( early season). The breakfast was great and Clement was very discreet trying to make sure that we have everything we need. The only negative is some noise from the nearby motorway, i guess it can be a little bit annoying if someone is sensitive 🙂. I would surely recommend Château de Saint- Girons.

Aparthotel Adagio Aix-en-Provence Centre offers contemporary and spacious apartments with kitchenettes, perfect for a business trip or a family getaway. The location is ideal, close to shops and entertainment, within walking distance of the old town's attractions. The apartments are well-equipped with modern decor and complimentary Wi-Fi. While some guests have reported air-conditioning issues, the inward-facing apartments provide a quiet retreat from the bustling city center.
I spent six months working in France from the UK and was fortunate to have this facility as my home during that time. I got to know the staff very well and am grateful to now call them my friends. My experience was excellent. This place is very well suited for long-term stays while working, and I hope to come back again in the future. I'll definitely continue recommending it to friends and colleagues coming for long-term work trips.

Fresh, vibrant, clean rooms. Wonderful and friendly staff. Great location. If you are staying here with a car, make sure it's a small car as the carpark is quite tight. The only reason I mark the rooms down is because there is no individual control over the heating/cooling of the rooms (not uncommon in European countries). The rooms can get uncomfortably warm
Matt L — Google review
We paid for three nights for the "superior apartment " this room was supposed to have two beds, it did not. There was one bed and one very old sunken in couch. We had to pay for another room, for an additional $670 so we could have the second bed we needed. There were 3 of us. Also, this hotel is not a hotel. There is no cleaning service. We were given one towel each and told to wring it out and let dry between uses. We were given two very small rolls of toilet paper and had to ask the front desk for more. I was required to pay for the breakfast, even though it had already been paid for on the first reservation. And even if I didn't want their breakfast, I still had to pay for it. We tried their breakfast one time and did not eat it again. There were small pastries, and raw eggs that we were supposed to boil in their little hot water boiling station. This did not work and even after boiling for 12 minutes the eggs were raw when cracked open on the plate. The hotel was very dirty. I could feel the dirt on the floors of my room under my feet. The carpet in the halls were very old, ripped , and black from being walked on. And there were ants everywhere! In my studio room I did not have the ability to adjust the temperature. The AC stayed in all day and night, it was very cold. This particular location is not near the city center. It is a walkable distance, but not in an area we felt comfortable walking at night.
Della L — Google review
It’s not eco-friendly just cheap Toilet paper was limited Extra towels non-existent “wring them out and dry them on the rack” did not work. No napkins for dining; cook your own eggs or take the inedible gastronomic experience of their scrambled eggs; cold meats and cheese were average Worn hallway carpets - torn up and not vacuumed in days Rooms not clean - ants, finger nail clippings, floors questionable The young woman concierge was as friendly as a honey badger, the others okay. Several of the other concierges seem to struggle with wanting to greet people as they enter or leave the establishment. Seriously understaffed. The cook/server/cleaning person was the only one hustling to care for the entire hotel. There were some other cleaners we saw once but that’s it. The bathroom specifically the bath/shower was a death defying act to take a shower. The toilet was on the opposite end of the living area so washing your hands became a trek through the living area to the bath/shower. The person who designed the interior may never have designed a bedroom let alone a hotel room - first year interior design students would have done a better job. No balcony but a garden area which was nice until the gardener started blowing his debris into our “living” area and people walking just outside our bedroom door. Privacy non-existent. Oh and the garden area if you choose the wrong table to sit, you have a Sahara hot wind from the a/con blowing on you full force. Location not great completely on the opposite end of where anything was happening in the city center. It was walkable but not very enjoyable walk through grimy streets.

Great staff, good guests relation. Coffee available any time. The room only has two coffee pods. Decent bed and good air conditioning. The tub shower is old fashion.
Metter C — Google review
This place bills itself as 4 star but it's really an expensive Airbnb. The rooms are tiny and extremely terribly laid out. For example, our bedroom door didn't even open all the way... It hit the bed. There are countless other examples. The service is non existent. You have to take out your own trash, do your own dishes, make your own bed, get your own change of towels, etc. Like I said, it's no different than an Airbnb. The front desk is barely knowledgeable on things to do in the area, which was amazing to me. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star was because the location is fantastic. Everything else is a mess.
Subodh P — Google review
Great hotel with easy access to the best parts of the City! The hotel was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the mini kitchen was an added bonus! I would stay here again on my next visit.
Nina ( — Google review
There are ants in the room. Dirty floors including a toenail from previous guest. The carpets in the halls are torn and very dirty. For a full breakfast I don’t expect to have to cook my own egg that actually never fully worked. The other choice tastes like powdered eggs. Our room had no tissue just an empty box and we also ran out of toilet paper.

Maison Dauphine is a sophisticated apartment hotel located in the beautiful and quiet Mazarine district of Aix-en-Provence. The stylish units feature understated elegance and are complemented by a modern art gallery within the premises. The central location allows for easy access to the town center, with popular attractions just a short walk away. Guests have praised the comfortable accommodations, spacious layout, and well-equipped kitchen facilities.
Maison Dauphine is in an excellent location, accessible to the highlights of the center of Aix. The apartment was lovely, well appointed, with comfortable bedding and towels, and a pleasant space to relax. We especially appreciated the breakfast with fresh bread daily. Veronique is very helpful and efficient, a lovely hostess. We highly recommend this apartment.

I love this place. Veronique at the reception is a real French lady who is full of hospitality. We had a big problem the night before we checked in at Maison Dauphine. She was so kind to give us an early check-in, though we can't always expect this offer. It helped us a lot. This building is a traditional French "Appartement." Very functional kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Bread, yogurt, peach juice, butter, and cheese are kindly delivered every day. It is a nice location to access the center of the city. Veronique hears our interest and tells us where to go with a map where she writes down the necessary information. We had a wonderful experience here!

The wonderful Maison Dauphine is located in the Mazarine district, a beautiful and quiet quarter of Aix, yet the town centre is within a short 2 mins walk. The building and the apartment (ours as on the third floor) is just beautiful and has a lovely charme. The apartment itself is immaculate, is much bigger than it looks ok the photos. A special shoutout to the interior decoration, which is stunning. You‘ve got everything you need - comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen and room cleaning if needed. If you're looking for a peaceful country retreat that offers plenty of space to relax, look no further than La Bastide de Ganay. This 17th-century hotel is situated just outside of the small town of Aix-en-Provence, and has a variety of accommodation options available including three rooms, three suites and four serviced apartments. There are two pools so you can always stay well hydrated, and the relaxed atmosphere will have you quickly slipping into holiday mode.
We stayed at the Bastide de Ganay for our wedding weekend with our families, the rooms were all tastefully decorated, breakfast was well presented with lots of options each morning. The staff were happy to help with queries but also very discreet and made us feel at ease, would highly recommend.

Beautiful chateau with rooms and apartments. We had a one bedroom apartment with a private entrance and outdoor seating area near the pool which was perfect and just what we needed. Its close enough to Aix that a trip into town is easy but far enough away that you have the peace and quiet. Breakfast was lovely with fresh pastries, great coffee and a wonderful host. Highly recommended for couples. Parking is limited but we never had a problem and a handy map is provided on how best to park so not to inconvenience others. Note that this is an old converted chateau so there are stairs to most apartments/rooms.

Great place, lovely pools. The Sicilian manager was a a delight. Good location for Aix and the wineries. Lovely grounds and breakfast outside was great. I have only one very minor complaint. I plugged in my hybrid car and had to pay the same fixed price as if I'd charged up a Tesla. This felt a bit harsh. Yes, it was clearly posted but I thought we could negotiate. Tant pis pour moi!

(Translated by Google) Stayed for 2 nights in January. I was impressed by the kindness of the owner couple and the romantic atmosphere of the bedroom and bathroom in a quiet, rural neighborhood in southern France. There was plenty of space, including an auxiliary room. The scenery outside the window is especially picturesque at dawn. Breakfast was standard, but I enjoyed chatting with the owner. It was nice to take a leisurely 30-minute walk around the city. It's a good 40-minute trip to Chatado Behedong Valley. I was once again impressed by the homemade cake the lady gave me. Anyway, it was a good value for money accommodation to enjoy the steamy southern France. Villa Gallici - Relais & Châteaux is a luxurious hotel located in Aix-en-Provence, France. This Italianate mansion offers an elegant and refined experience for guests. The hotel features a beautiful outdoor pool, lush gardens, and a spacious terrace where visitors can savor the delightful Provençal cuisine by Christophe Gavot.
We went with my wife to enjoy a relaxing morning at the SPA, the Villa being 5* we had high expectation but what we experienced was truly outstanding! Camille and Aurélie from the SPA welcomed us as if we were VVIP’s, took us to to our massage rooms where we both had one of the best massages we’ve ever had. We were then fortunate to be able to enjoy the pool (normally reserves for hotel guests) to bath in the southern sun. Needless to say that we left fully relaxed and we wished we could have stayed longer (we had other plans). If you’re looking for a quaint, beautiful and intimate stay located in the hearth of Aix, no need to look any further.

There are too many staff to thank for my truly magical experience at Villa Gallici. From the moment I pulled up to the gate until the moment I left, I was consistently greeted as though I was a long lost friend by every staff member onsite. Each day, I noticed more and more thoughtful details around the property (i.e. fresh displays of multi colored roses scattered everywhere in the spa, impeccable landscaping, a thoughtful turn-down service). There were multiple occasions where it felt like I was on the set of a beautiful old Hollywood movie. Thank you Villa Gallici for providing true luxury and a level of care for your guests that I never knew was possible. What a dream vacation.

We stopped in for a drink and decided to have a small meal. The employees could not have been more obliging and providing an exquisite level of hospitality. Although on this occasion we were not staying at the Villa, we would definitely consider it on our next visit. Thank you! Ps. The beer and food were excellent.

One of the most extraordinary places we've stayed, and we've stayed in a lot of great places. The hotel was magnificent and the restaurant? absolutely stupendous! Fabulous! We got a little 4 room suite with a balcony and oh my gosh. And the restaurant? the restaurant is over The top. You ask for something you got it pretty simple! and while we have been blessed with being able to dine at many Michelin star restaurants. This ranked among the best that we've been to ever! As to the hotel rooms quiet cozy well appointed, just amazing. I think the beds are a little lumpy and need to be replaced, but very little to gripe about... would we come back? in a heartbeat! And the people here are amazing , very pleasant , very kind , very considerate and very professional , truly , a stunning place to stay and to dine and oh , did I mention the scenery?

B&B Hotel Aix-en-Provence Pont-de-l'Arc is a budget-friendly 2-star hotel located just a short drive from Promenade de la Torse. The hotel offers simple yet comfortable rooms with amenities such as Wi-Fi and parking. Guests have found the hotel to be a good value for the price, with comfortable beds and helpful staff at the reception. However, some guests noted minor issues such as insects near the windows and the location being a bit far from the city center.
I have stayed several times at this hotel and always been welcomed. Security is good, gate ahut, fast Internet. A bit far out feom the town center but immediate access to main roads and motorway. Not too far from little shops.

Think of the worst hotel experience you have ever had, then think again. We made reservations for five nights at this hotel, but after the worst nights experience we’ve ever had we checked out the next morning and went to another hotel. A very small and dense room, a non-functioning AC unit that made lots of noise and circulated warm air into the room, and a clogged shower were the primary reasons for our decision to leave. But if we ever had any reservations about that hasty decision, the rude service from the staff who felt they were doing us a favor by simply listening to us sealed the deal. So very disappointing.
Ophir P — Google review
Everything was perfect for the money that we gave. Kind people clean rooms with air condition. The girl at the breakfast was so kind with us. Thank you 😊
Maria B — Google review
We came in late - the hotel room was small (we were 3 people, and there was no room to move around), the AC was not functioning at all, and the shower was not draining causing us to stand in water as we showered. When we mentioned these issues to the staff, they were dismissive and rude. Later that day we discovered that a kindle reading device was left in the room (on the bed). When we went to the hotel the next day (as this was after hours), they claimed that the kindle was not returned to them and must have been taken by the next guests in the room. This means that they did not change the bedding (sheets, pillow covers) between guests, as the cleaning crew would have seen it. If it fell, as the suggested, that means they did not sweep and clean the room. When we tried to talk to them about this, they shrugged and told us this was not their problem. Be very careful about booking with this hotel!

Comfortable budget hotel at reasonable price. Suited me for a one night stay but wouldn't want to stay any longer. Had cost not been an issue I would have preferred to have stayed in a bit more comfort, but I had a comfy bed and a private shower room so was fine. Breakfast was also good for the price and even included a cooked option (albeit not for me!).

This hotel is a complete waste of money and it is far from even an okay experience! Find a better hotel and never stay in any of their B&B hotels! - First of all, because their brand states B&B, but the breakfast is not included! How deceptive!! You must pay an extra fee to have it and it is surely not value for money. - No hairdryer is provided in the room and if you ask the guy at reception, he will surely have none to lend! - Shower towels are v small! - Used toilet paper - how disgusting. - Poor customer service. - On the website it showed a discounted price but at the desk upon arrival, despite showing the receptionist the offer on their website, they still made us pay more. - Dirty toilets, snack/drink machine in the hall was broken therefore no way to get even just a bottle of water.

We had an absolutely fabulous week with Damian and Stephanie and their team. The food prepared by the Michelin chef and service were exquisite. I highly recommend staying at Bastide de Damian.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this experience. I booked a room at 11:30 PM, well before their stated check-in deadline of midnight. Upon arrival before midnight, I found the front gate completely locked with no way to access the property or reach staff. There were no doorbells at the entrance, phone calls went straight to voicemail, and messages sent through the booking app received no response whatsoever. Despite arriving within their posted check-in hours and being physically unable to access the hotel due to their locked gate, I was charged a 'no-show' fee and they refused to process any refund. The lack of communication, inaccessible premises during stated operating hours, and unjust charges made this an incredibly stressful and disheartening experience. I would strongly advise against booking here, especially for late arrivals.

We stayed for just one night and it is very hard to leave! The family made our stay really special with their warm welcome and service. The property itself is simply stunning, very clean and the room was out of this world! The food was wonderful, and truthfully the whole experience was unforgettable. We have stayed at a lot of luxury hotels over the years and this has by far been our best experience yet. Thank you so much for everything and we will definitely be back!

My adult daughter and I had an incredible stay here! Everything was so well done - from the beautiful grounds and accommodations to the familial hospitality - we loved every minute. Highlights include the exquisite food and coffee service, beautiful views waking up in a lavender field and kindness of Stephanie, Damien and his parents. We loved the massages, time spent by the pool, and the ability to take amazing day trips in any direction. Highly recommend!
Sally M — Google review
Shocking experience — we lasted less than 5 minutes outside the gates. We arrived by taxi (in a very secluded area) before check-in time and were refused entry altogether. We simply asked to drop off our bags and use the restroom while we waited. Instead, Damien came to the gate and aggressively denied us access. He accused me of pretending to need the restroom just to get into his home early. He made it very clear — in no uncertain terms — that this was his house, his rules, and guests are not welcome even on the property before check-in. We were stunned by his hostility and complete lack of professionalism. We left immediately and never returned. In all my travels, I have never encountered such rude, unwelcoming behavior. Absolutely unacceptable for a business that calls itself hospitality.

"A l'Oree du Pin" is a traditional B&B that offers a delightful stay in a serene setting. The rooms are clean and cozy, with the option of a splendid jacuzzi. Guests can enjoy a superb swimming pool and look forward to an excellent breakfast made from local produce. New for 2016, there's also a wellness and beauty area under construction, offering massages, body treatments, and facials.
We have been there for three nights and everything was wonderful. We booked the chambre just in front of the swimming pool and it was a privilege to have breakfast -delicious and huge, provided by the owners- so close to the water, under the sunshade. The owners are really nice and help you with anything you need. There is a bus to get there, but we recommend to go by car, specially because the city of Aix and the surroundings deserve a few visits.

One of them had the spa, but we did not take the option, because 70€ and usable only for the person sleeping in the room, why we do not know. When we arrived we had the unpleasant surprise to see that the swimming pool was under construction. The garden, which is small, was not landscaped, one corner could have at least been cleaned so that we could enjoy the outside when we were there knowing that the weather was nice. The rather ordinary breakfast was almost imposed at 8:30 a.m. no later because the owner told us "8:30 a.m. later I'm working." Served in living room, with a pile of ironing laundry. The room on the pool side was pretty and very functional, however the other room on the living room side smelled like sewers... horrible! during the remaining 2 days. The shower door did not open completely, difficult to get in and out of the shower. The stay, which should have been pleasant, was almost ruined due to the lack of professionalism of the hosts....very disappointed, we won't come back that's for sure!

Sandrine and Patrick's place was a truly delightful slice of heaven to experience while on our 3 week Europe trip. The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. I can't even begin to put into words how amazing Sandrines cooking is! the breakfast was just superb every morning... 10/10. We loved our stay in Provence and hope to come back one day! Breakfast is specially made by Sandrine, the hostess and is delicious !!!! We were warmlly welcomed to their home and felt like family. I highly recommend La parenthese Saint Donat as the best accomodation spot in Provence. It is 3 km from the center of Aix en Provence and in a quiet and green neighbourhood. The welcome was as warm as it was genuine; we immediately felt at home. The studio was impeccable, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The estate is splendid, bathed in light at all hours, with a magnificent view that invites relaxation. The Domaine De Carraire is a charming and well-maintained lodging in the suburbs of Aix-en-Provence. It has recently been renovated and comes with all the modern amenities you could need, as well as an outdoor swimming pool that's perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. The hosts are friendly and will go out of their way to help you get around town or relax in peace and quiet.
We stayed for a bit longer than a week and had an amazing time. The Domaine is nice and quiet and has a very green garden. At night you only hear crickets and smell the lavender. It has a great pool and the whole Domaine was nicely maintained. Our studio was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Water pressure is good and warm water is quick. Soaps provided smelled amazing. The owner is very sweet and easy to talk too. She will make you feel at home and it was easy to keep in contact while we were there. Domaine de Carraire is located on a very quiet street but still very close to the city (Aix-en-Provence). Nice bakery on a 6 minute drive. A great place to stay if you want to explore the area with nice cities and beautiful villages. I highly recommend it to every couple or also if you are traveling alone! Will definately stay here again if I'll be in this part of France again.

Our apartment in the Domaine was nice, clean, well equipped, newly renovated, but the building is old and with all that Provence charm. It is the quiet suburb of Aix-en-Provence, shot drive to the city center. Kitchen was with everything needed. Small swimming pool was prepared for relaxation. Do not hesitate to book it, if you are going to visit that area by car. Host was ready to help. Our bed was queen size (not huge), but there are few other rooms in the Domaine, maybe with different options. We had pleasant stay here.

This charming bed and breakfast features air-conditioned accommodations that ensure a pleasant atmosphere even during the warmest days. Guests can enjoy a delightful breakfast featuring local cheeses and fresh bread sourced from nearby markets, perfect for starting your day on a tasty note. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Eric, who goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
I thought this place was great! I was worried when I first arrived as it looked edgy, but I called the number on the door and in a minute, the owner greeted me and led me to my room. He made sure i was safely parked, helped me orient myself, and in general bent over backwards to be sure I had a good stay. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed (coffee machine, fridge, stove, a/c) the place is 50 meters from the entrance to the old city, so you are always close to that if you are here as a tourist, etc. I thought this was one of the best deals of my 30 day visit to this part of the world. Small grocery adjacent is handy and at least twenty places to eat within a three minute walk. Great location, clean spacious suite, great price, great host. Don’t let the front door scare you off.

The guest house is described as a peaceful haven, where guests can enjoy the generous welcome from Valerie and Jean Patrick. The Mistral room is highlighted for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and refined comfort, offering a serene retreat.
For my husband and I, the View Aix en Provence, was an incredible experience. Valérie and JP left no stone unturned to give us a memorable stay. From the great conversations to the delicious breakfasts (of our choice) in the morning we felt absolutely spoilt. Even though we arrived earlier than initially planned, our room was all ready for us and even set to a perfect temperature. JP and Valérie greeted us with cold drinks and we sat overlooking an inviting pool and beautiful views discussing a list of recommendations for our stay - much appreciated on a hot summers day. Their recommendations both for activities and food were incredible, Valérie even arranged dinner reservations for us. We absolutely can’t wait to come back again. Highlight of our trip! The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable, with an understated and eloquent interior design. The breakfast was impecible and we were pleasantly suprised by the occasional glass of wine offered by Valerie & JP. The place itself is super well located, 5 minutes from Aix center so it is quiet but very close to the old town. They also recommended us visit Chateau La Coste which was beautiful. Overall, 10/10 stay. I'm definitely heading back soon !

Good location. Very quiet room. Breakfast is good with a lot of choices. Lot of parking places and Tesla Superchargers for EV owners.

We went to recharge our car and had breakfast. It was such a terrible breakfast. The staff was rude. Two staff members kept eating from the corn flake jars in front of us which was quite disgusting and unhygienic. The girl on the bar counter touching her body then touching food with the same hand which was also very much disgusting. The one cleaning the table counter kept putting the fallen flakes into the jar. I’ve never seen something like this and especially from the French people was not expecting this much unhealthy and unhygienic behavior. Such a disgusting place!

With the Check-In I got access to another room where somebody else stayed. Imagine this would happen to my valuables. Quelle horreur! The new room is just for one night. I wouldn’t stay for longer. It smells from the canal. For the dinner I waited 70 minutes. When the food was finally served I raised critique and was prompt rejected.. the restaurant manager came and wanted and excuse from me… that was the worst experience ever in a restaurant for me and the low of my three weeks in France.
Yannick Z — Google review
Good location, looks a bit hipsterish at least at the lobby. Stuff seems nice, trying to be helpful. Pool is a plus, but needs cleaning and some restoration work. Breakfast is a bit pricey at 13 euro, with meat options consisting only of pork. Rooms are small, somehow smaller than usual. Air conditioning doesn’t seem to be working well - rooms are hot and humid. I had to change room and air conditioning doesn’t work well in either one. First room had strange smell, looks like mold. Also floors looked rundown. Second room has issue with sink - doesn’t drain well. Hotel has interesting vibe, but seems to be rundown. If I knew about air conditioning issues, I would not stay in this hotel.

Had a very positive experience at Ibis Aix en Provence. Great location and clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Nice garden outside that you can sit and relax. I have only positive things to say about the customer service. We forgot one of our bags at the hotel. The stuff was quick to respond and came with solution on how we could get our bag back since we already left the country. Many thanks to Liza!

Got to the hotel at 11 pm, there was an old grumpy guy that was in a back , I had to call few times he showed up looking at me as why am I there?, any question I asked him he said he does not know and I should ask tomorrow which later on I find out he was the manager, the room was clean that’s only positive. NO TELEPHONE,NO DINKING WATER IN A ROOM, NO SAFE IN A ROOM, AND AIR CONDITION NOT WORKING. We went downstairs at least 5 times to ask to clean room or fix our AC , no one showed up, we got the towels and sheets from the cart and we did it ourselves. SO ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL.
Mitra M — Google review
If you pay without card make sure you get a receipt! None of the staff want to give you a receipt. When we left this morning they claimed we didn't pay for dinner!! We had a receipt, and then they claimed we ordered drinks for €20 after dinner. We refused to pay since it was a lie. Otherwise clean, nice garden. Close to the highway.

Visitors have praised the villa for its tranquil surroundings, describing it as a paradise and likening it to a fairytale.
We were only one night in La Feraude, but we would have loved to stay longer. The owners and the accommodation are very charming and authentic, the garden is a dream. The breakfast is lovely prepared and typical French - we had all we need! I would love to come back anytime!

We had a wonderful stay at La Féraude. Our hosts, including Tango, the Swiss Shepherd, were so welcoming and helpful with information about visiting Provence. It was so peaceful relaxing in the garden area enjoying a gentle breeze on a hot summer’s day. We would love to stay again one day.

La Feraude was by far the best lodging experience over our 2 weeks traveling through France! The property was absolutely lovely and the owners were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and there were plentiful options. We were provided with amazing restaurant recommendations during our 4 night stay and the location of the property allowed us to easily travel to multiple sites in the Provence area, which the owners gave us a list of excellent recommendations wherever we went. I will definitely stay at La Feraude again when visiting the area!

Extremely welcoming , charming, characterful old building in beautiful grounds. The room decor is lovely; eclectic and very tasteful with large old windows and shutters. La Feraude is the realisation of the cliché I had in my head of the Provence for all these years. Philippe and Catherine and gracious hosts and do the best to make you feel at home and confortable. Sitting every morning in their garden eating their home made joghurt is worth it already in itself. Beautiful design. Beautiful place. Only 15 minutes drive from Aix en Provence

Do you want to stay somewhere that looks like a Paul Cézanne painting? Well, that is exactly what La Féraude looks like!! I have never seen a place more beautiful. The home! The gardens! The pool! Truly incredible!! Also, I've never felt more at home. Philip and Kate felt like family because they are so nice and welcoming and accommodating. The al fresco breakfasts every morning, the peaceful garden at night drinking wine, the comfortable bedroom...I did not want to leave. I am from the US, but I will be going back to Aix. Whenever I am there, I will stay at La Féraude. I miss it (and Kate and Philip) so much, and can't wait to stay there again.

We loved our short 2 nights stay here! The full breakfast was really generous and wonderful - eggs, juice, coffee, yoghurt, fruits and breads! Even though we booked a triple room, she gave us an upgrade to a quadruple room. It was very spacious and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean. We will be back, thank you!

La Milane was an absolute local gem; peaceful, charming, and full of heart. We stayed the night before a Sunday family brunch, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and restful stay. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we loved the beautiful Provençal touches throughout the space. It felt like staying at someone's home. But the real magic was in the morning. We asked for a breakfast for 9 people and they delivered a stunning Sunday brunch, like a feast in a friend’s country home rather than a hotel breakfast. There were freshly baked pastries, crusty breads, eggs made to order, and homemade jams, all laid out beautifully. The owner shared stories about the property, which has been in their family for seven generations and you can feel the love and pride in every detail. The hospitality, setting, comfort, and value all far exceeded our expectations.

Villa Amara is a lovely boutique hotel right in the middle of Aix. We were able to attend festival events and discover the city on foot. Beautifully decorated as well. Highly recommended.

Villa Amara was outstanding in all respects. This is, without doubt, a five-star property. The exclusive, three-suite property is an exquisite manse, set in a lush private garden, walking distance from the heart of Aix-en-provence. From the stately exterior to the carefully decorated interior of our one-bedroom apartment, every detail was artful and thoughtful. The rooms were light-filled, spacious and combined the best of historical and modern fittings. Looking out from our floor to ceiling windows every morning, we gazed upon a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by graceful plane trees. Every detail, down to the guide to Aix provided by our elegant host, exceeded our (high) expectations. We cannot recommend this property enough and cannot wait to return.

A wonderful boutique hotel and a must if you visit Aix. Perfect 10. Russell and Susan

To describe this place in a nutshell: a luxurious bed & breakfast that is centrally located. To elaborate: Run by a most gracious host, Lilli, you will be hard pressed to leave this haven of tranquility. Everything you need has been noted and thought of; whenever Lilli asked if we needed anything, I really couldn’t think of anything at all. Here are a few more notes: • Breakfast is served for an additional but reasonable cost. Everything served is organic, from the bread to the almond butter. It is still very French, with croissants and yogurt, but you have the option to request other items like boiled eggs and whole wheat bread (best to request in advance of your arrival). This worked great for my partner & I, as I am the yogurt & fruit type, and he’s the eggs and toast type. • Our room, Le Imperiale, was tastefully decorated and well laid out. Everything was easy to use, including the thermostat, lights, and smart TV. There is central air conditioning in the rooms, and it actually works! The shower was glorious, I didn’t want to get out of it. We didn’t get to use the bathtub but it looked very inviting. The bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. No robes, but slippers are provided. I love a good robe, but I managed just fine without. • Parking is free and secured behind an electronic gate. • Each room has a small but fully equipped kitchen, including a separate wine fridge, electric cooktop, kettle & Nespresso (ask for a small carafe of milk), and ice in the freezer. Oh and organic olive oil & vinegar, should you need it. There’s even a woven shopping basket for you to take to the local markets. • The pool is lovely, surrounded by live koi and lotus flowers. Lounge chairs and towels provided. Upon leaving you’ll need a big hug from Lilli, because she really makes this villa shine and you’ll miss her the most. She is responsive via text message, speaks French & English beautifully, and wants you to enjoy your stay in her home. Don’t think twice about booking this gorgeous villa, this gem will soon be too popular to keep up with demand.

We found an absolute gem. Have stayed all over Europe in 5* locations and this is arguably the best place we have stayed. Luckily came across it as it had only just opened, took the risk and it certainly paid off. Will most definitely be returning! The suites are finished to an extremely high standard, location to the centre is 300 yards and you have the option to relax around the Villa (which we did) for the whole day as you're totally self sufficient with your kitchenette area. Cant wait to return, great hosts, great location, great Villa!

Absolutely wonderful guest house on the outskirts of Aix! It is beautifully designed, with gorgeous rooms, a heated pool, and wonderful garden views. You can tell that so much effort was put into making it a luxurious, eco-conscious experience! Our host was very friendly and welcoming. The reality is far better than the pictures. Mishka and Jessica are great hosts, with true welcoming energy that makes you feel like a family in seconds. The house is in the best location you can imagine, the rooms are decorated with style. bed is comfortable, and the French breakfast is exactly what you need to start a lovely day in provence. Highly recommend, for traveling in the county side, I think it is a better option than hotel.

Beautiful setting and wonderful hostess. Immaculately tasteful house and gorgeous pool and garden. Near enough to Aix center but very peaceful. We would certainly come again.
Roger S — Google review
We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Provence. Michka was the best host one can ask for - friendly, helpful, and respectful. Since we were the only guest there out of the two rooms that are available - she showed us both rooms and let us choose. The guest room was very modern with beautiful decor and thoughtful details. The shutter blind provided the best sleeps that we had during our visit to France so far. The bed was comfortable and the hot shower came with very strong pressure. We were stuffed after enjoying our daily breakfast - which was nutritious and delicious. The house is located 10 mins (drive) away from Aix-en-Provence - which had a great dinning scene. Additionally, it is only a-30 min drive to Marseille. Ask her for dining recommendations- she was spot on!

My wife and I enjoyed two amazing days at Maison M. There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe the glorious little bed and breakfast. The home is peaceful, stylish and cozy. The food is fresh and delicious. Mishka and Jessica are the most wonderful, welcoming hosts. And the B&B is only a 10 minute drive to Aix. For English-speaking guests fearful of a language barrier - don’t worry! Their English is very good and they were unbelievable patient with this American’s poor attempts at French. (In fact, Mishka, my wife, and I had the most glorious dinner laughing as we carried on a conversation using my bad French, Mishka’s good English, and Google Translate.)

Home away from home. This is the feeling from when you enter the premises. Quiet, comfortable, clean, homey. The owner Hugo with his huge smile and full attention to make your stay a memorable one, is always ‘a L’Ecoute’ to help with any need that you may have. Close to everything yet far away enough to have a quiet stay and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded with trees. We shall be back

My husband and I loved our time at Villa Helene. We visited in May. It was a lovely and quiet refuge from the crowds in Aix, but with easy access to the town. Our room had a deck with a view of towering pine trees and the Villa itself had many spaces to use, including a large covered patio. The breakfasts were truly amazing—fresh yogurt, pastries, charcuterie, juices and coffee. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and provided us with lots of ideas of what to see and do.

(Translated by Google) The location is beautiful, just outside Aix, completely immersed in nature. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. It's the small details that are lacking: there's no air conditioning, which is a bit uncomfortable in the heat; we weren't given a refill of toilet paper, and there was no option for a second pillow. Breakfast, too, isn't memorable. The owner, though very kind, didn't provide any helpful information, perhaps because she's shy. In any case, it's a nice place and you'll have a great time: it has parking and is just a 10-minute drive from the center of Aix.

Visitors rave about its prime location and immaculate cleanliness, ensuring a memorable stay filled with comfort and relaxation.
This is the worst place ! We stayed there in September 2024 and booked through Booking. First, the description doesn’t reflect reality. The kitchen that is available for guests is by the pool and is dirty. There is no private entrance for guests, you basically live in the house with the host. The bathroom is old and dirty. The shower is defective There is no wine, champagne, fruits, breakfast, coffee, bar. There is a dog on the premise however and that isn’t mentioned in any of the descriptions we’ve read. Good if you like dogs, bad if you’re allergic… Also, when we reserved, it appears that we had a different understanding of the number of rooms available for us. Instead of telling us while we introduced ourselves over a cup of coffee, the host contacted Booking directly, and then asked us for more than 700 euros for 4 nights (almost doubling what we paid). After a day of negotiation, she asked for 200 euros, cash. We refused. She started yelling at us, touching my wife aggressively and even grabbing her phone. With two young kids, we had to leave immediately. The kids were crying, the host continued to yell, it was awful. We had to reserve on the spot for two more nights somewhere else without any support from Booking . Even though we complained to Booking, we never received any compensation or reimbursement. Their strategy is to make us wait on the line and when we finally speak with someone, the line is mysteriously disconnected. Bottom line: Don’t stay there, don’t use Booking.
