Specialty Museums
Located in Aix-en-Provence, Musée Granet is a renowned art and sculpture museum housed in the former Knights of Malta center. The museum boasts an impressive collection of works by celebrated artists such as Rembrandt, Ingres, and Cezanne. In addition to its permanent collection, the museum also signed an agreement with Fondation Jean et Suzanne Planque in Lausanne to showcase modern and contemporary artworks for 15 years.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the Cézanne permanent collection since it wasn’t available during my visit in May 2025. But the rest of the artworks were really cool and worth seeing. The layout of the museum was clear and easy to follow — you won’t get lost. A great museum experience overall!
Deniz A — Google review
An extraordinary Cezanne exhibition covering his early to later works. Tickets only available via online portal and do expect a crowd- but it is a must if in Aix. The museum’s smaller permanent exhibition is also worth a (less crowded) visit.
Søren B — Google review
The temporary exhibition about Cezanne was fabulous however the organisation of the museum leaves huuuuuge space for improvement. The tickets can not be bought in the museum even if the next available slot is in the next 30 minutes. You have to buy online or in tourist office which is 700 meters away. The most ridiculous solution I’ve ever encountered in any other museum. You’re advised to come 30 minutes before just to stand in the queue. Instead of letting people enter on small groups they just put a mass of people to enter small space of the exhibition all together to make the small rooms super crowded. No logic at all. And the worst out of it is the stroller unfriendly policy! Nowhere at the stage of buying tickets online you learn strollers are not allowed. You learn it when entering museum. Parent must carry the child all the time. As I was nowhere before made aware of it I didn’t bring any baby carrier. They finallly made exception for me after consulting their head of security 🤯 the museum has lifts inside but first you need to make two round of stairs in front to enter the building which is a tough barrier for people with strollers or with wheelchairs. This all happens in France and touristic town! Shame and the difficulties they made for people with reduced mobility and first of all not informing the customer on the stage of buying ticket just spoils the whole experience. The staff also is not very helpful as this is a bother to have reduced mobility person as a visitor. Only one woman on the lower floor was actually nice. The rest was behaving as this is such a nuisance. Total disappointment and I’ve been to hundreds of museums before. 2 stars as the exhibition was first class but organisationally it’s a HORRIBLE place.
Culture T — Google review
The Cezanne exhibit is fantastic and well worth the price! They've brought together a fantastic collection and traced it though his life to show the evolution of style and use of light. The price includes the rest of the collection, and it was well organized to get in with timed entry, keeping it not too busy inside. If you're lucky enough - catch it before Oct 16 :).
Kimberly B — Google review
Wonderful space and comprehensive Cezanne expo visited in October 2025. There was a significant queue for the expo, which is reassuring! There are plenty of us still looking for beauty and inspiration in art! Will be back!
Silvana A — Google review
The Cezanne show was a great idea. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to truly appreciate it. We had tickets for the 12:30pm time slot and while the museum staff tried their best, people with other time slots were able to get in ahead of us. The que was in a side street that was partially closed to public but somehow people were skipping the que and going in. Once in, the museum was mobbed and there were large guided groups that monopolized the most significant pieces making it practically impossible for individuals to get close. The guide giving a lecture in front of the piece and the group (some even set up folding chairs!), took over entire rooms so those of us behind couldn’t get close. I’m sure the show was great and the city deserves kudos for a great effort but the museum needs to reconsider whether they can host individuals at the same time as they invite groups. The other issue is not the museum’s fault but a rule about it might help: photography should not be allowed when the museum is this busy. People stand in front of a piece with their phone, one after another, taking pictures of artwork that has been photographed millions of times preventing those of us behind to appreciate the work. No one is ever going to take as good a picture as the one sold in the museum shop post card or found in a book. I’m happy I was able to visit this beautiful exhibit but, unfortunately, it was not a particularly enjoyable experience.
Arnaldo V — Google review
The museum houses permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, in our case Cezanne a Jas de Bouffan 2025. The temporary exhibition was nice, the permanent one was fine but didn't entice me that much.
Johannes E — Google review
We went to see the Sezanne exhibition. It was really nice but unfortunately totally overcrowded although they are already limiting access with time slots. It also would have been great to understand more about the father -son relationship - the explanations were too short/ shallow and seemed contradictory at times.

Historic Sites
Paroisse Cathédrale Saint Sauveur Aix-en-Provence is a diverse cathedral that showcases a blend of historical periods and architectural styles. The site holds significant archaeological evidence, indicating its sacredness for thousands of years, with remnants of pre-Roman pagan and Roman temples preceding the Christian church. The cathedral's construction spanned over 1200 years, from the 5th to the 17th century, marked by numerous interruptions such as wars, shortages, and plagues.
Especially from inside this cathedral is looking impressive. Get informed about the history in advance or have a visit inside with a Tour Guide. I am sure you will enjoy it!
Juergen C — Google review
Very old and full of character, a fascinating mix of architecture. This is a beautiful historic site with layers of history. You can see a blend of Roman, Gothic, and Baroque styles all in one place. The stone carvings, wooden choir stalls, and ancient baptistery are especially impressive. Even if you’re not religious, it’s worth a visit just to admire the architecture and peaceful atmosphere. A great spot for photos and a quiet moment in the city.
The Y — Google review
One of the most amazing cathedrals - and you wouldn’t recognize from the outside. Actually hard to find as it is easily overlooked in the dazzling inner town of Aix. The magnificent inside greets you first with a wonderful full-body baptistery on the right, with high columns. Then you walk on until you realize you are in a side wing - and turning to the left exposes a beautiful main ship, with an even more wonderful altar area. We didn’t see the associated cloister as this has a long lunch time break, so check the time tables if you want to visit this as well.
DB W — Google review
Absolutely outstanding church - architecture, artworks, organ, cloisters, and alter. One of the best I have ever seen.
Sharon H — Google review
Amazing visit! No tickets needed. You can visit the church free of charge (except during church services when it’s off limits for visitors). There are spaces dedicated to prayers only - off limits for visitors - which you are asked to respect. The beautiful archway and garden can be visited with a guide only. Make sure to put that on your schedule:) it’s free of charge but polite to leave a tip.
Fel I — Google review
Beautiful cathedral! You can clearly experience how it has grown during the many centuries, from the simple baptism area, through the Roman period, to the Gothic part. The extra gallery of the monastery is also worth a visit, with many icons on the pillars.

This is a small square containing a small obelisk on-top of a small fountain. The fountain's discharge points are sculptured dolphin heads, one on each side of the rectangular base. Unfortunately, vandals have broken one of the heads, which is currently held in place with some web-fabric tie-downs.

The festival offers an immersive experience where audiences can enjoy performances under the open skies in locations like the Theatre de l'Archeveche and Hotel Maynier d'Oppede.
Beautiful venue. Very modern with great acoustics. All personnel were very professional and attentive. Nice snack bar for intermission.

Beautiful building. When the gate to the top is open, you have to go up to the roof. The view over the city is beautiful.
Syrah — Google review
For those planning a visit there: in July is was pretty fresh inside, a cardigan might be useful. At the balcony the air conditioning was coming from the floor - I wished I could have my shoes and not the sandals. The sits are not adjusted for the overweight people, unfortunately. For the normal weight you should be fine. The sound at the balcony was a bit weird: amazing sound of the orchestra but the voices of soloists were too quiet. Maybe that was caused by the scenography. Good location. The guys in the bar were doing all they could to serve the crowd on time, but still one needs to prioritise what’s more important in the break: go to the bar or to the toilet, as succeeding in these two tasks might be challenging.
Olena T — Google review
Excellent production of Don Giovanni last week. Shocking lack of women's toilets. Almost impossible to access in the one interval. This is part of 'accessibility'. Big contrast with London's Royal Opera House, which is a very much older building.

The Musée du Vieil-Aix is located in a 17th-century mansion and offers a glimpse into the history and evolution of Aix-en-Provence. Visitors can explore period furnishings, paintings, pottery, costumes, and figurines that reflect the traditions of old Aix. The museum also features wooden puppets in a 'talking crib' and screens used in Aix's annual Fete-Dieu celebrations.
I enjoyed this museum! 4€ for people above 26 and a nice thing to do while in Aix. The museum has a wonderful collection of art made by the owners
Claudia M — Google review
I must be missing something for this to get an average of four on Google. A very sporadic display - no story or theme really linking them. Limited educational text. If it’s pouring with rain and you want 10 minutes out of the weather then maybe, otherwise a waste of 6 euro entry. Also like another reviewer mentioned we were followed around the museum as if we were a group of naughty school children in a corner shop. Weird.
James P — Google review
By my understanding and standards, this place cannot be considered a museum. There are hardly any objects on display. I entered with the hope of finding an ethnographic museum, but it was a disappointment. Moreover, if you don’t know French language like us, you won’t be able to read anything or understand the visual presentations. Even if you consider the entrance fee as a donation, you’d be better off spending your time exploring the historic streets of this beautiful city.
Oguzhan K — Google review
Very limited collection focussing mainly on ecclesiastical themes… no English translations so only go if you are passionate about the history of Aix and can speak good French!
Josie — Google review
There wasn’t much to see, unfortunately. I was hoping to get a look at the mansion’s interior and some original furniture, but it turned out to be a small museum with just a few Cézanne paintings upstairs, and some rather creepy puppet dolls 😂
H S — Google review
The city was founded in 123 B.C. but the museum touches on the period starting from the 17th century only. You'll see a few models and artifacts from that era but you won't learn much about the actual history of the city for the most part. The displayed paintings are mostly related to Cezanne's fellow artists/friends, half of the museum could be regarded as a small extension of Musée Granet which is dedicated to Cezanne himself and many more painters. There's a room with an interesting 3D model for a cupola project of St. Peter's Basilica (Vatican), the video is quite interesting telling the story of the project but the connection to Aix is that a collector bought the model in Italy and brought it to Aix. The museum has some artifacts but it's missing out most of the city's interesting history unfortunately. It can be a nice break for 20-25 min if you are in downtown, entrance is free on the first Sunday of the month!
Marton S — Google review
Followed around the entire museum like we weren't trustworthy. Made me feel pretty uncomfortable. I left after about 7 minutes.

Pavillon Vendôme is a 17th-century pavilion turned art museum, originally built for the Duke of Vendôme. It is surrounded by formal gardens and offers visitors a serene oasis to escape the sun. Aix-en-Provence, known as the city of water and art, boasts numerous fountains dating back to the 15th to 19th centuries.
A gorgeous art museum surrounded by amazing gardens. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and the staff still let us in to explore quickly - really appreciated it seeing how we’d travelled all the way from Australia! ❤️
Angel K — Google review
From the online description, we were expecting to see a 17th century, 3 storey home, filled with furniture. What we saw were sparsely decorated rooms with only a few pieces of furniture and instead a quirky art exhibition. Only the ground and first floor could be accessed. There was a locked door to the top floor. The exhibition looked at interesting ways to portray the female organs as well as scars and reproduction. I thought the exhibition was tastefully executed and interesting, but not why I came here. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The entry price is only €4/person and is an interesting way to spend an hour.
Samantha P — Google review
Great and lovely garden to visit, really relaxing and quiet in the morning. Didn’t go inside to get full experience but I would recommend to take a look at least from outisde
Luka B — Google review
Was denied entry with a baby. As they have stairs one has to carry the child but the staff won’t agree to leave the stroller at the ticket counter even if the museum was empty and there was plenty of space. They wrote this is a wheelchair accessible place but this is probably a lie as they said strollers are not allowed because of stairs. This happens in France and tourist destination 😳😳😳 probably the stony entrance is an indication not to proceed with stroller. Aix en Provence really needs to work on their family friendly policy as this is the most baby unfriendly town I so far have visited. It’s not the only place in this town where parents with stroller are unwelcome or thrown away. TOTAL SHAME and this is holiday destination. Someone should train and sensibilize staff responsible for tourism in Aix. I don’t plan to check out other Provence cities and just won’t plan it as holiday destination ever again even coming with adults with full mobility. I will pass my experience around as well to warn other people from such discriminatory cities and museums.
Culture T — Google review

Monique Z — Google review
Very beautiful place to hang out and relax - the garden is absolutely gorgeous and the exterior of the palace is as well. I’d suggest to skip the visit of the interior because it kinda ruined the image of the place. Grab a book or plan the rest of your trip laying on the grass and enjoy the nice bucolic atmosphere: the inside is literally 5 rooms with a fireplace and a couple of ancient furniture pieces. It’s nothing special. The art exposition is very… artistic… I believe only true art aficionados can enjoy it

Nestled in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, the Eglise Saint-Jean-de-Malte is a captivating 13th-century Gothic church that boasts a unique blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles. It is renowned as the oldest Gothic structure in Provence and holds significant historical importance as the first Catholic Church in the region. The church features stunning stained-glass windows, paintings dating back to the 1700s, and an impressive contemporary organ by Daniel Kern.
Once you step inside, your head will roll as you will be surrounded by history and beauty at the same time, yet a tour guide should be available all the time to answer visitors questions.

My favourite church in Aix, the use of light is beautiful (and reminiscent of more English gothic cathedrals!), the building is well-maintained and actively used for worship. I really liked this park — it was calm, relaxing, and full of life. People were sunbathing, reading, and walking their adorable dogs. I had a little picnic and truly enjoyed my time there. A perfect spot to unwind in Aix-en-Provence!

A parc with some shadow and good for us to have dinner in the heat of 32 Celsius:) Some people have a picnic and it looks like a relaxing place. Should close at 8 pm but we did not see anyone who closed the place, so not sure about closing time

The Musée des Tapisseries, established in 1909 within the former Palace of the Archbishop, is a vast building with four wings surrounding an inner courtyard. It houses a rich collection of tapestries from the 17th and 18th centuries, including Les Grotesques series woven in Beauvais around 1689 and the story of Don Quixote depicted in nine tapestries woven at the Royal Manufacture of Beauvais.
As a student, admission was free. All staff were very friendly and there were some very interesting things to see. Captions for each tapestry were in English and French and presented very engagingly.
Josie — Google review
Wonderful, interesting museum with a temporary exhibition space downstairs and the tapestry rooms upstairs. The tapestries tell the story of Don Quixote and are in splendid condition, with many vibrant colors remaining. The guides were especially nice, in particular, Marcel, who took time to explain to us beautifully the allegories the tapestries also tell, more than just the story. Our conversation with him was great, wide-ranging, and informative. He is an asset to the museum and Aix and would make an extraordinary teacher/professor.
Bearcat — Google review
Absolutely beautiful beautiful building with absolutely incredible tapestries inside. I do feel like a lot more could be shown inside though, only takes about 40 mins to go around everything. The tapestries are absolutely fascinating and break taking in real life. Definitely worth a visit.
Clara S — Google review
Nice tapestries but you’ll miss a lot if you can’t read French as none of their signage has any other language. Not putting English/other languages is something I understand and I’m not saying they have to, all I’m saying is that you’ll miss a large aspect of the museum by not being able to understand the history of the tapestries. It’s was kind of nice to walk through and look at them, but I wouldn’t go back, nor would I recommend it to someone unless they are really fascinated by tapestry work.

The Théâtre du Jeu de Paume is one of the iconic venues where the Festival d'Aix presents a diverse range of operas, classical music concerts, and other performances. Nestled in the enchanting courtyard of the Archbishop's Palace, this historic theater exudes a magical atmosphere that captivates audiences every summer.
Built in the 18th century, it began as a Jeu de Paume court, where even the legendary Louis XIV himself would engage in spirited matches. Jeu de Paume, a precursor to modern tennis, was a game played with bare hands or specialized gloves, hitting a ball against a wall. The echoes of this ancient game still resonate within the walls of Théâtre du Jeu de Paume, a testament to its rich heritage. Over time, this storied venue underwent a transformation, evolving into a magnificent theater that continues to enchant audiences today. With its ornate design and intricate details, Théâtre du Jeu de Paume reflects the grandeur of its era. The very stage where Louis XIV once played Jeu de Paume has witnessed countless theatrical productions, opera performances, and concerts, making it a cultural hub of artistic excellence. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of this historical theater, where famous actors and musicians have graced the stage, leaving their mark on its illustrious legacy. Today, Théâtre du Jeu de Paume continues to captivate audiences with its rich heritage and captivating performances.

Hôtel de Caumont is an elegant 18th-century mansion located in the Mazarin neighborhood of Aix-en-Provence, known for its art exhibitions, courtyard gardens, and a charming café. The mansion showcases Parisian influences and represents a beautiful illustration of French architecture from that era. It follows an architectural design that emphasizes the interplay between courtyard and garden, creating a harmonious urban oasis.
This place is truly unique, with its architecture, art-filled ambiance, elegant décor, and stylish furniture, as well as its beautiful garden. We had a wonderful time sitting in the garden section of the restaurant, enjoying our coffee and delicious dessert in a refined atmosphere with excellent service. If you’re a tourist in the city like us, this is a must-visit spot—you might even come across an art exhibition!

Cute place to visit. You can walk around the ground floor for free, and get to the garden. The exhibition is paid, and there is also a restaurant/cafe which you can visit and enjoy a drink/food in the small garden or inside. The interior is pretty interesting and there were a lot of artworks to be seen all around. We were especially amazed by the small labyrinth (parterre design) in the back garden. 🥰

A gorgeous oasis of peace, style and refinement in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. I loved the 30' film about Cezanne's life showed as part of the visit. The permanent collection is interesting and the layout of the building impressive. The two leveled garden is wonderful in all seasons...and the elegant café adds to the experience. An absolute pleasure and a treat. A reminder that.. La vie est belle...

Château La Coste is a futuristic wine producer that offers more than just tastings. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the world of modern art while enjoying delicious dining options at the café. The summer program at Château La Coste includes musical evenings, cinema nights, and concert events set amidst the beautiful vineyards.
We spent the afternoon exploring the grounds and art and then enjoyed a meal and wine at the Terrace. What a special experience!! Give yourself time to really explore, the staff said 2-2.5 hours of walk and they were not wrong. Wear comfortable shoes! The art is extremely well curated and engaging. We ate the Terrace afterwards and had a wonderful time! Live music, delicious, food and refreshing wine!

We had an incredible tour with Guillaume yesterday. He showed us around the winery and then led a tasting - he was extremely knowledgable, passionate and enthusiastic about wine. He answered all of our questions and taught us so much about the entire process. What an excellent tour guide, if you can book with him, then do! The grounds and restaurant were also absolutely stunning. A 10/10 day and must do in the area!

Magnificent and so poetic. It reminded me of the open-air museums you can find in the Hudson Valley (north of New York), except even better. Thank you for bringing this concept to France, thank you for letting people have their own journey. Also love that signage is brought to its minimum, this is how art should be experienced. <3

Great visit to Chateau La Coste. Outside walking path of 2-3 hours with grandiose art installations and stunning views. It can get a bit steep but otherwise a comfortable hike. Enjoyed a small lunch on their terrace and a small visit to their wine shop. Highly recommend a visit!
Niels R — Google review
Okay, so there is a disconnect here for me... The spaces are magnificent, they setting pastoral and charming, the architecture modern and somewhat brutalist, and staff extremely kind and knowledgeable. Where there is an issue is the art, the "art-tour" through the grounds, amd how they orchestrate the way in which you view the art, and the absolute lack of basic amenities such as available water, toilette, and basic safety items for guests. The art for the most part left me wanting more, and more of it. The Richard Serra "sculpture" I would say is am insult to hardworking metal and steel tradesmen around the world; overly simplistic and poorly placed. The Foxes by Michael Stipe were very nice, inviting and well placed, well done. The Liam Gillick "Multiplied Resistance Screened" was a lovely addition to his body of work and very inviting and situated perfectly. The shining star for me was the Tadao Ando "Pavillion of Four Cubes..." exterior was stark and brave, the entrance creepy and inviting, the darkness of the path to the interior of 4 illuminated cubes resting inside was sublime. So welll thought out and put into action. LOVELY The Prune Nourry " Mater Earth" was as expected; beautiful and large, and appropriately placed. The Frank Gehry Pavillion was very nicely done, comfortable audience seats in a natural setting, and looks like it has great acoustics for performances, but in a weird way it seemed out of place to me, but i saw it in the daylight, nighttime may have an entirely different effect. Now to some sore points. As a museum and installation fan, I am accustomed to different places and configurations for display spaces. This layout took it to another level. Spread over many acres, on trails that for some would be difficult or impossible to traverse. Couple this with the lack of ANY drinking water, at any point on the entire trail system, coupled with NO bathroom facilities save for those in the main building, these things seemed to scream a lack of respect for the customer who has paid a fee to do the long, and for 7+ months a year, HOT trail walk. I was told I could purchase a 19 Euro glass Damian Hirst water bottle at the shop and fill it up for my walk...my how generous of Lacoste! As someone who has lived part time in France for many years, would recommend this place for a visit, but I myself would not return with them for the visit. Very disappointing, because it seems as though ABSOLUTE creature comforts, and frankly safety, have been eliminated for the profit of the owners.

Camp des Milles is a museum and memorial located in France, which was once an internment camp during World War II. It is the only still-intact deportation camp in the country, where thousands of individuals from various nationalities were detained before being transferred to Auschwitz. The site provides educational tours and exhibitions, allowing visitors to experience the living conditions of the detainees firsthand. The museum showcases artworks created by artists who were imprisoned there, including Max Ernst and Hans Bellmer.
I visited there on September 1st, 2024. During a weekend of the summer school break there are very few visitors. I believe that it is only because only a few people know about it. It deserves much more attention. I have been to multiple Holocaust museums around the world and this stands right at the top alongside ones like the ones in Los Angeles and in Washington DC. It requires half a day for a visit, or at least a couple hours in a rush. The museum is truly amazing! I took the self audio guide. This is a fully modern museum, with many audio-visual displays, movie rooms with panoramic screens etc - hosted in the original detention camp building. This combination gives the visitor a unique authentic experience alongside the rich educational content. Most of the wall displays were in both French and English (except of the last, new section about the common phases of genocides). The modern rooms contain a detailed chronological account of the major European events leading to the Holocaust; the personal stories of men and women detained here, including poets, artists and scientists; the history of the camp itself within the context of France during WWII, before and after the arrival of the Nazi. The rest of the building is accessible via doors and passages, revealing the original structure and the harsh conditions the inmates were held here - until most of them were sent on trains to Auschwitz to their death. Outside, across the road, there is one car of such a train, at a memorial site. Note: The museum entrance might look like it is closed. You need to approach the security control building and ring the bell to be let in.
A. A — Google review
Such a heavy and impressive place. Their unique approach in three steps makes it a complete visit with history, impact and reflection on the war, it's aftermath and the understanding of how it happened and how it could be prevented in the future. They offer a 2h guided tour but if you go on your own, you might need 3h to thoroughly experience the whole place, filled with small details, proof of the people who were once between these walls.
Pierre-Olivier L — Google review
Well worth visiting. We spent more time in the museum than we were told the visit would take because there was so much fascinating information to learn. We paid for audio guides but wouldn't recommend these to anyone who speaks French or English as most of the information was just a duplicate of what we could read in both these languages on the exhibits. If you speak a different language, the audio guide may be more useful to you.
Jacqueline W — Google review
A must visit for historians and for those who want to learn how to see signs of impending genocide, and be inspired by stories of courageous resistance. The security to get into the site is telling of its importance. *everyone can react, everyone can resist, everyone in their own way*

This place is definitely worth a visit, I visited on a warm spring day in March and there really was no line to enter, everything is kept essentially how it was and it is an interesting feel walking through here knowing what went on.

Definitely worth a visit, especially on a hot summer day. It is a fascinating place to see how history touched this small area. You are able to tour through the entire tile factory with plenty of information about France's role in the war. I particularly loved how blunt they were about the French government not helping. You will go through a well organised path and tour of the factory.

I’ve previously visited the Dachau concentration camp in Munich and I was expecting to see sth similar, but what I saw was only the inside of the building. There was no even the beds. I’m disappointed and I paid 11 for entry with the teacher reduction which is so expensive!! However, the lady at the reception was noce and helpful.

We took a guided tour, which I absolutely recommend and believe much better than just walking around. After seeing many other well-made museums of this sort (e.g. Auschwitz), I thought the quality of the museum and accessibility were not bad could be better. If you don't have a car, you can easily get there by bus 4 from Aix-en-Provence but be careful about the way back - the bus station for return is about 10 min away from the museum.

Been walking around this place since high-school when so was studying in Aix. More than ten years later it's time to say something about it. A meeting place at night for the students and partying people. A legend says that long ago this place was a brothel, because of the railing in front of the windows on the walls that can be mistaken with male sex organ. (Translated by Google) Aix en Provance is a very beautiful town and is called the city of fountains and in fact you can find numerous of them when visiting the city. Cézanne was born here and a plaque on the house commemorates him If you visit Provence it's worth a stop. (Translated by Google) Currently, there is nothing (not even a sign) that makes it impossible to tell whether it was Cézanne's house, so there are no tourists wandering around. (Original) 현재는 세잔의 집이였었는지 알 수 없을 만큼 아무 것도(안내문구조차도) 없기에 주변에 서성이는 관광객도 전혀 없다.

(Translated by Google) It is Paul Cézanne's house. It is currently privately owned, so you cannot see the inside, but the garden looks well maintained from the outside. (Original) 폴세잔의 집이 맞다. 현재는 개인 소유지라서 내부를 볼 수는 없지만 밖에서 보기에 정원이 잘 관리되어 보인다.

The Festival de Pâques d'Aix-en-Provence is a vibrant celebration that takes place during the Easter period, encompassing the entire city with numerous events. While many activities are hosted within the theater, the festival extends its festive ambiance throughout Aix-en-Provence.
(Translated by Google) A magnificent program, some of the best musicians, a very beautiful room, in a very beautiful city. I go there every year, I love it! Small downside, don't take their sweet and savory box offer, it's unworthy of the rest! But it's an insignificant detail.
