Hotel Park - Potestas Ltd. is a luxurious 1920s hotel located in Split, Croatia, offering elegant rooms and suites with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The hotel's staff provides exceptional service, ensuring guests' comfort and satisfaction. One of the highlights is the lush outdoor pool area, creating a serene oasis for relaxation. Conveniently situated near Bacvice Beach and within walking distance of Split Old Town, it offers mesmerizing views of the Adriatic Sea.
Absolutely amazing… for me - the best hotel in Split I don’t even know where to begin… this hotel completely blew me away. From the moment I arrived, everything was just perfect. The staff is incredibly kind, genuinely helpful and so well trained. You can really feel that they love what they do and they go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The breakfast was out of this world… incredibly rich, fresh and with so much variety that every morning felt like a little feast. I have rarely experienced such a high quality buffet. The cleanliness, the beautiful interior, the breathtaking view and the perfect location… I honestly loved every single thing about this hotel. It just has that special something. I would never stay anywhere else in Split. An absolute five star experience in every possible way.

Hotel Park is a small and cozy five star hotel with excellent facilities and a high quality restaurant. The hot tub and pool in the peaceful garden create a calm and relaxing atmosphere with sun loungers and an outdoor bar available for guests. Our room had access to a small balcony that led to a shared terrace with private sunbeds and tables reserved for the sea and pool facing rooms located on the first floor above the garden level. The service was outstanding and the staff were always friendly and helpful. A perfect hotel for those seeking a romantic and tranquil experience in a luxurious setting.

Great hotel right around the corner of the city center, close to the beach and ferry terminal. Nice gym, pretty good evening restaurant, simple but good lunch, good breakfast with live piano that lasts until 11, very appreciated. Highly recommended.

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Park Split with our two young children. The hotel definitely doesn’t position itself as a “family first hotel”; nonetheless, a lot was available to accommodate family with children. We had a duplex room on the top floor, with two big beds (one of which was a sofa bed) and a baby cot. There was plenty of space. The only “minus” of the room is that since it’s facing the public beach, many youngsters were partying and screaming on the beach till early morning. In spite of the noise cancelling windows and walls, we could still hear some of those noises. Breakfast / lunch / dinner at the hotel was decent. Options were a bit limited - especially we had just spent a week at Valamar before Hotel Park Split, it was quite pricey for what it was as well (then again, this is the case for all touristy places in Croatia in the summer), but food was tasty, and staff was very considerate with different formats of baby chairs available for kids at different ages. Overall the hotel facility was a bit outdated, and the decoration style looked like it was straight out from the 90s. But service, staff, house keeping quality and cleanliness were all top notch.

We received a warm welcome with wine , chocolates and fruits however the whole stay was below average. The lobby is so tiny I had to check twice if that is the hotel I booked for such high prices. Warming they don’t have a dedicated concierge. The person at the reception was not helpful as well. This staff pointed us to a few tour companies and told us to figure it out with them. No solid recommendations. The person who is at the lobby helping you with luggage and doors was surprisingly really helpful. They tried to help us. Biggest problem is the infrastructure, the rooms are tiny and the sea view is through a tiney window of the room. It seems as if we want to peak at the sea. The toilet was built for someone who is really tall I had to hop to reach the hooks on the side of the doors and found it difficult to reach the plug points or even to get out of the bath tub felt like I was going to slip because of the height difference. Also I want to take a moment to disciple how sad the breakfast buffet was. The tables were not set with basic cutlery ketchup or any condiments. The food looked really old and tasted old too. The croissants were saggy ad waffle was tough. The fruits didn’t feel fresh as well. For so much money very sad experience.

Currently staying here now and couldn’t be happier! Amazing and gracious staff. Breakfast is great as are the cocktails! Close to old town and all the beach. Highly recommended it!

I celebrated my wedding here and was extremely disappointed that the event manager failed to organize the outdoor seating with her staff – especially since this was the main reason I chose this location. On top of that, she was extremely rude. I would never book this venue again.
Katarina D — Google review
Edit 4/9/25: have since found a charge on my credit card from the hotel. They say its for the mini bar which is false nothing was taken from the mini bar!. Friendly staff and the hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the port/old town. Does have a small beach next to it this was always busy never looked the cleanest if im honest tho. Room was clean and had all i needed shame it was a single bed tho. For some odd reason the shower head is bigger than the bathtub and over hangs meaning if you use it water goes all over the bathroom floor. Was also at the back of the hotel looking onto another building sadly the best views are the front rooms.

Briig Boutique Hotel in Split is a top choice for those who appreciate contemporary design and upscale amenities. Located just a short walk from Diocletian's Palace and Bacvice Beach, the hotel offers modern Scandinavian-style rooms with original furniture by renowned designers. Guests can enjoy a rooftop pool, hot tub, spa center, fully equipped gym, and on-site dining options at Median restaurant and BarCaffe Bar.
Great property with the staff to compliment it. The location is close enough to the ferry and the old town. Shout out to Frank at reception (can’t remember the Croatian spelling). The modern exterior was a plus as well. We loved it there

Great rooms, close proximity to the nice Bacvice beach, at least in pre-season a location with a chill vibe. Great furniture and art collection on site with iconic billboards by Boris Bućan. Some staff members were too reserved for our taste, others made up for that. Special thanks to Marsela for the helpful tips on activities and places to visit with our little daughter. And many thanks for the cute easter surprise she brought for her! Downer: it wasn't obvious that the rooftop pool is not heated and still closed in April. And that the Whirlpool image we had seen was not showing the spa area but the suite :-(

Disappointing Service Despite a Lovely Room! I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. The room itself is lovely — very clean, comfortable, and with a great view. Housekeeping have also been great throughout our stay — polite, helpful, and doing their job well without issue. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the rest of the staff, which has really let the experience down. From the moment we arrived, the overall attitude from the front desk and bar staff has been cold and unwelcoming. Not once have we been greeted with a simple hello when walking in — which, over several days, says a lot. Any time we’ve asked for anything, we’ve been made to feel like we’re putting them out. It’s as though unless you’re sitting with a laptop in front of you for business purposes, you’re not worth acknowledging. We understand this is primarily a business hotel, but that doesn’t mean non-business guests should be ignored or treated with indifference. There’s a complete lack of basic hospitality here. The drinks have been another major disappointment. The first coffee I ordered was borderline undrinkable — no flavour whatsoever. I gave it another try on a different day and was handed a cold coffee that was basically just milk (see attached photo). When I politely asked to leave it at reception for a moment so I could grab something from the car, the receptionist was unnecessarily rude, again reinforcing the overall unwelcoming tone of the hotel. Room service is another point of frustration. Charging £8 just to bring anything to the room — even though staff are clearly using the lifts all day — feels unreasonable and opportunistic, rather than part of a genuine service offering. There was an event during our stay where the hotel manager was present, and the change in atmosphere was instantly noticeable. Staff were suddenly attentive, polite, and drinks were brought up without issue. It’s obvious the manager expects high standards, and when he’s around, things run well. The issue is what happens when he’s not: the staff seem uninterested, unfriendly, and disengaged — as if doing the bare minimum until he returns. We still have a few days left of our stay, and we’re now actively avoiding interacting with staff where possible, which is not how you want to feel on a trip. It’s a real shame, because the hotel itself has potential, but the guest experience is being ruined by inconsistent service and a lack of basic hospitality.

Stayed for two nice. Staff were nice and very helpful. Enjoyed our stay there. It is located around a 10-15 minute walk to the busy old city. Pool has a very nice view, but is small and seating is quite limited. The gym is very small.

During our stay at the hotel, we had the pleasure of being cared for each morning by Mara in the breakfast area. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a meaningful difference in our experience. Mara went above and beyond to ensure our family and especially our 2 year old daughter felt welcomed and well looked after - always greeting us with a kind smile and anticipating our needs with grace and professionalism. It’s rare to encounter someone who brings both heart and excellence to their work the way Mara does. Her care turned a simple breakfast into a comforting and memorable part of our day. We are truly grateful for the kindness and dedication she showed us throughout our stay. With warm regards

For the price of this hotel, the experience left much to be desired. Given this is one of the more expensive hotels in Split, expected much more hospitality. For example; staff were cold, on check-in very little information provided (no WiFi password), ac was centrally controlled (have to ring reception but they don’t mention this on check in), breakfast was average (no change and I stayed 3 days), pool was tiny (no towels there, cushions on the loungers, ability to order drinks etc). The room was spacious and clean but everything else lacked that made this a very unmemorable stay and wouldn’t return.
Tanitha R — Google review
I would describe this hotel as fine(4-ish stars) excluding my issue, but our room does not have a standing shower. We are staying here 4 nights and have to get into the tub and lay down to rinse off. You can extend the shower head but I’m a tall man and it cannot extend past my belly button, nor is there anything to hang the shower head on while you use soap or shampoo. I haven’t experienced another hotel anywhere that has a full bath but no standing shower option. I believe my room seems to be unique in this as pictures of the showers in other reviews are different. There are a few examples similar to this in the hotel that feel luxurious or design focused, but at the cost of the basics. I'll say most of the other examples are fairly small though. I spoke with the staff about it and they made it seem like it was totally normal to not have a standing shower. It’s 90 degrees here this week and I’m showering twice a day like this. If this hotel were cheap I would take it as a learning experience, but it's on the pricier side for this part of europe during the summer and for this reason I couldn’t suggest this hotel.

Incredible experience in the Briig Hotel. You get what you pay for. Friendly staff, nice food, bar, near the old town of Split also not so far of the ring road and quitte rooms what makes it the perfect location. Underground parking is unfortunately not included in the price of the room. You have to pay 25 EUR extra a day. Please include this in the price of the room just as principe.

Cornaro Hotel Split is a refined establishment located in the heart of Split's Old Town, just a short walk from Zlatna Vrata and Diocletian's Palace. The hotel seamlessly blends historical surroundings with modern amenities, offering high-speed internet access, allergy-free rooms, and a sun terrace with a Jacuzzi. Guests can enjoy wine-tasting sessions, bar services, and entertainment activities on-site. The pastel pink facade hides elegantly decorated rooms in calming neutral tones.
The Cornaro hotel was a lovely place to stay. The staff were all very helpful. We arrived by car, round the back but staff came out to carry our bags up the steps. Our room was lovely with a modern style. The location was fantastic being just outside Diocletian’s Palace walls. This meant it was easy to explore the area from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. We had the barbecue dinner on the rooftop one night, which has gorgeous views and the food was perfectly cooked.

This hotel is a haven of luxury in an unrivalled location in central Split. We stayed two nights and were sad to leave. Public areas and rooms spacious and very tastefully decorated with lots of amenities. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The views from the rooftop bar / plunge pool are beautiful, and we also had a delicious lunch and drinks up there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Excellent stay at the end of our two week Croatia trip. Perfect timing to relax in the rooftop wading pool and enjoy the beautiful views! The rooms were spacious and clean and the service was spot on. The daily breakfast buffet, which is included with the room, was beautifully presented and provided a wide variety of fresh food options.

We recently stayed at this property after finishing a sailing trip from Split and tremendously enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and the were furnished with a modern touch. The rooftop patio and pool were a welcome oasis after spending 5 days on a boat and so was the great gym and spa in the basement. The breakfast Buffett was also one of the most elaborate spreads we have ever encountered in a hotel. It was amazing all around.
Gabrielle S — Google review
Stayed at the Cornaro for 3 nights and had a fabulous experience. The property itself is a little old and the layout is odd (not bad just there are two reception areas) but the room we had was a really generous size and the bed was super comfy. The highlight was the staff, every single person was friendly and proactive. I’d put them right at the top of the tree for service and I say that as against any 5star property we’ve stayed at, anywhere in the world. The other great thing about the property is its location, an easy walk to the water with restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. Probably the best location in Split. Can recommend the Cornaro!
Matt L — Google review
When you enter Diocletian’s palace, you pass into a zone where time and space are compressed. Ancient times are so close you can step into them, and every square meter is more full of life and lives than any other outside the city walls. What better than a spa day as you prepare to depart that condensated zone? My wife and I enjoyed a private sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation massage nestled in this hotel, courtesy the expert masseuses Tea and Mia. We walked out feeling re-energized, relaxed, and refreshed. A wonderful way to end our stay in Split! Thank you Tea and Mia; your hands are magic.

Loved this hotel! Awesome location, rooms luxurious, comfy beds, big bathrooms. Rooftop terrace and splash pool a bonus. Drinks a bit pricey but paying for the view. Breakfast was scrumptious with huge amount of food options among best have seen across all Europe. Highly recommend!
B. H — Google review
Fantastic location and amazing staff. The best thing about this hotel for us was their outstanding breakfast! There were so many choices and we've learnt new thing: the locals sometimes have a shot of fruity liqueur with their breakfast. Location is very convenient, short walk to all the attractions which was great for us to take photos early in the morning without the crowd. One constructive feedback though is that the sound proof could have been better. From our room near the lifts we could hear people talking clearly and I guess they could hear us talking too.

Nestled in a serene neighborhood just a short drive from the city center, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa in Split offers a tranquil retreat with chic waterfront accommodations. The recently renovated five-star hotel features 252 rooms, many of which boast balconies overlooking the picturesque islands of Brac and Solta.
I had a wonderful stay at Radisson. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like a welcomed guest. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and they were happy to assist me with any questions I had. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the provided amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi and a modern bathroom with excellent water pressure. The hotel facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed the fitness center and the relaxation area by the pool, which was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The hotel’s restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and I was especially impressed by the breakfast buffet. Most of all, I was impressed by the attentive service and the overall atmosphere of comfort and luxury. I would highly recommend [hotel name] to anyone looking for an unforgettable and enjoyable vacation. I look forward to returning here soon!

I did a 50min Stress Away massage that was absolutely wonderful. The spa is beautiful the rooms are super peaceful and my massage therapist, Doris, was so sweet. She prepared a lovely pot of tea for me afterwards as well. Delightful experience. I would definitely come again! The suite was also gorgeous. The view our terrace was magical. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We cannot praise the Radisson Blu Split highly enough. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful suite where welcome drinks and chocolates awaited us. The room was spotless and wonderfully appointed, the house staff cleaned every day leaving water, towels, whatever we needed. The Mint bar was lovely, great cocktails and food, especially Marjan who was so friendly and welcoming. In reception Maria and Lea were always so kind and gave good hints and tips for our stay. The pool area was really clean, great service and food too. Breakfasts were excellent, something for everyone and plenty of choice. On our last night we were delivered a farewell platter of goodies which was very unexpected but delicious! We were also given a late check out which was most welcome as we had a late flight home. All in all we cannot thank everyone enough for a great stay, Croatia has been wonderful and we would definitely stay at the Radisson again.

Oh my Goodness!! I just have to say that I loveeeed being at the Radisson Blu!! When we first got here we needed to change our rooms & we needed extra accommodations. We spoke to Rasa who was literally amazing! She helped us so much & was our angel!! She went above & beyond to make us happy! I’m so glad we met her! Absolutely loved her! And at The Mint Bar these guys Peter, Ivan, Marin, and Luka really went above and beyond to make our restaurant experience soo great! We stayed here for one week & they literally made our experience soo great! They knew us and remembered everything we liked! And they were so friendly & fun! We enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to go anywhere else in the evening! We always came back! I highly recommend The Mint Bar! I want to thank them for everything!

We were biking across Croatia for 8 days; and decided to stay at the Radisson Blu for four days after to enjoy the city of Split. Great proximity to downtown, Amazing hospitality. The spa was awesome; Shan and Stefanie gave us a very relaxing massage. Best of all; was our waiters Marjan and Ivan who waited on us for three night. They were fun, kind and very responsive! Not to mention the Burger was delicious! Will highly recommend to my American travelers!

Gym could be a bit more equiped, but the spa and pool area are outstanding. Hygiene level is better than other hotel spa's in the area. The staff is very attentive and professional. Hotel offers a variety of treatments in the treatment zone. Stress away massage by Anja was a great choice for me. I would recommend it!
Bruno R — Google review
Absolutely immaculate facilities. The only issue is we are in the off season there was construction happening literally outside our balcony. A crane AT the height of our room and grinding noises every day... unfortunate. The room itself is amazing however. The hotel staff were perfectly cordial and willing to help our tourist selves. Even helped with allergy accommodations and brought fruit up instead of chocolates to be safe with our nut allergy. Do yourself a favor and book a treatment with Spalato! Absolutely the best ive ever felt leaving a spa. Anya and Iryna are stellar, please request them! 🤯 Anya was able to get every single problem muscle to un-tense in less than an hour!

One of the best hotels I’ve been to! We came with such warm hospitality, the staff are lovely and accommodating 😌 The spa was very nice with a lot of facilities, it felt very luxurious. My favourite part was the breakfast, the staff are welcoming and the food has a lot of variety with gluten free options, too many to choose from 😋 The room was clean and spacious and I would definitely recommend this place! The hotel has its own beach as well and the views are amazing 😍

Hotel
Judita Palace Heritage Hotel is a refined 16th-century hotel located just outside Diocletian's Palace in Split. The hotel offers polished rooms and suites adorned with gilded wallpaper, sumptuous fabrics, and wood inlaid floors. It exudes an old-world charm with vintage typewriters and crystal chandeliers in common areas. Some rooms provide views of the bustling main square, while others overlook the serene inner courtyard.
5 stars plus. Everything about Judita Palace is perfect. Andy and Carla are special people who go out of their way to be helpful. The hotel is so well managed. Beautiful, spotless, charming rooms. Great ambiance. Very good breakfast and delicious coffee! Look no further for a fantastic stay in Split. Excellent location.
Bonnie G — Google review
My husband and I loved our stay at Judita Palace! Our room overlooked the “people’s square” and I loved that it was located in historic old town. The windows were sound proof so no difficulty at all sleeping with the hub bub of the city below. Andy helped us to the hotel with our luggage and our stay was made even better with his good humor and the hospitality shown to us by him, Carla, and the rest of the staff! Honestly felt like a home away from home. As this is a UNESCO heritage site, there was no parking on the property but the hotel did provide us with a parking spot that was a short go kart ride to the hotel. Would highly recommend!
Kulveer D — Google review
We had an amazing stay at Judita Palace Heritage Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. A special thanks to Carla (receptionist), who was incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Andy and the rest of the staff were equally outstanding—professional, friendly, and committed to making our stay comfortable and memorable. The service here is truly excellent, and you can feel the personal touch in everything they do. We left with such a positive impression and would highly recommend Judita Palace to anyone visiting Split.
Farid K — Google review
First, there is a reason why Andy’s name is mentioned in so many ratings. I would hypothesize that Andy is the soul of the Judith and a welcome introduction into Croatian culture and the dark comedic genius of his people. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are elegant. The morning breakfast not be missed, and be ready to have eggs (that is important to them). The courtyard entrance and bar is a jewel.
Chris M — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the center of historic Split. The staff at this hotel is unmatched in kindness, helpfulness, sincerity, and hospitality. The room we had was absolutely amazing and the views were so unique. The bar downstairs in an open courtyard was perfect to grab a drink. Special shout out to Andy who was the most gracious host and so kind and funny. He and my husband ended up having the same birthday!! Recently spent one night here with my sister in a two bedroom room. Location was in the centre of the old town in Split. The friendliest staff ever! Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again when I bring my family.

Hotel Vestibul Palace is a luxurious boutique hotel located in the heart of Split, Croatia, within the Diocletian's Palace. The hotel is a fusion of three palaces from different historical periods - Romanic, Gothic, and Renaissance - with elements dating back to the 3rd century. Once the central apartment of Roman Emperor Diocletian, it now seamlessly combines modern amenities with ancient charm.
A Seamless Stay in the Heart of Split We had a wonderful (albeit short) two-night stay at Hotel Vestibul Palace. The service from Ivan and the entire team was truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. While the hotel can be a bit tricky to navigate due to its location within the historic center, the staff made it completely stress-free. They guided us step-by-step, including helping with luggage from the parking lot directly to our room — a level of service we deeply appreciated. The facilities were clean, thoughtfully designed, and elevated in every way — a perfect blend of modern comfort and old-town charm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Vestibul to anyone visiting Split!

I cant say enough great things about this hotel staff. Steven (sp?) and Ivan in particular were so wonderful. We had some issues with our booking (our fault not the hotel's) and Steven went out of his way to support us offering professional and personal insights. He also checked on us to make sure everything went well. Ivan also went above and beyond to provide solutions and support and personalized service. Also both men were so nice and funny and knowledgeable. Very interesting and intelligent gentleman. Had a great time chatting with them. The hotel itself is lovely and worth the extra effort to access. However because of its location inside the palace walls be sure to coordinate your arrival and departure with the staff. I'm sure, they will extend you the same VIP treatment extended us.

An unbeatable location right next to the Vestibul made this stay truly special. The staff were outstanding across the board, with a particular mention to Moreno for his engaging conversation and superb service, and to Ivan for his calm, thoughtful, and well-organised guidance. The breakfast was phenomenal, and the room was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation.

Had the best 4 night stay here. The service was exceptional. Steven and Ivan helped ensure I had the best time in Split. From anticipating my arrival (and helping me with my luggage), assisting me with booking a private boat tour, dinner reservations, and more, they delivered top notch service. I felt so comfortable and welcomed. Location can’t be beat next to the vestibule. The main hotel is beautiful and room was very comfortable. I spent two of the four nights in the Villa. I liked the more quiet location, but felt like the room quality was not the same as the main hotel. The price difference properly reflected this, so I thought it was fair. Highly recommend Hotel Vestibul Palace for your visit to Split!

Had a wonderful 1-night stay here. Perfect location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We forgot an important item at the hotel and they went above and beyond to assist us with getting it back. Thank you for your hospitality Ivan & team!

My husband and I loved the hotel but more than the charm and the perfect location of this boutique hotel, we were so impressed with the top notch service we received while we were there. Before arrival, they reached out to us to meet us when we get there since it is hard to find the exact location especially since there are two separate hotels within a short distance of each other. Ivan met us the first night and guide us to the hotel and made suggestions for dinner. The next day he reached out again to see how we are doing and I relayed to him that my husband hurt his knee by the beach. He came over immediately with a first aid kit and he called the airport for us to arrange for wheel chair for our return and see if we can leave a day early. He was so kind to us and brought chocolate to cheer my husband and arranged for a private car to take us to the airport the next day and for someone to meet us at 4 am to help us with our luggage. Thank you so much Ivan for all your care. We are back home safe and sound and my husband is doing better. We also loved the breakfasts and all the staff there who were so sweet. We highly recommend this hotel for its unique location but mostly for the attention and care they provide to all their guests.

I have visited Split with my partner last month. We had chosen this Hotel mostly for its siting, but we enjoyed our permanence thoroughly. The staff was kind and they even came to lead us to the Hotel personally. Whilst we did not have lunch, or dinner there, we tried the breakfast. The menu was detailed and it provided a lot of options to pick from. The room was overall clean.

There are two distinct locations for this property the main and the “annex” or “villa”. They are very different experiences. The main is what you would expect from a Hilton related property, luxurious. The annex is about 2-5 minutes (depending on your familiarity with Split) and is more like a dorm or Air b&b. We were assigned to the annex and didn’t care for it. Steven, the manager, was great and was able to come up with a mutually acceptable solution. Really appreciated that! The service throughout the stay was excellent! Really treated us like VIPs. The breakfast was awesome and was a highlight. Location could not be beat. Easy access to everything in old town Split. An amazing and memorable experience!

Fantastic hotel right in the Riva old town. We had room no 5 with loads of charter and a balcony. Great check in and service. Room full of character but with all mod cons.

Had a great stay at this hotel! Rooms were super clean and the properly was stunning. Wish we could have stayed longer. I think the price point for our visit was quite high given we were visiting in off season so it’s just to note that this hotel was pricey.

Nestled in Split, the Marvie Hotel is a contemporary retreat that prides itself on being the first health hotel in the area. Boasting a wellness-focused experience, it offers an array of amenities including two pools, a gym, and a spa area. The Renevie wellness space provides opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation with its indoor pool, outdoor rooftop pool with sun deck, Finnish sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi.
The hotel was very great, they surprised us with a room upgrade when we arrived. The view from the room was very beautiful, on the sea. The breakfast was delicious, especially their pastries and pretty big variety of dishes. The only thing that coffee was not very tasty. The service was also very good, each evening when we arrived in the room, it was perfectly clean. The pool on the roof was pretty small but the view was also very beautiful and good cocktails in the bar. There are plenty of cafe, restaurants and a public beach 5 minutes away from the hotel. Recommend it !
Darina D — Google review
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, giving a nice and fresh impression from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the rooftop pool — it’s a beautiful spot to sit and relax, especially at sunset, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere. However, the water in the pool was very cold and not heated, which made it difficult to actually enjoy swimming. We also ordered a salad from the rooftop bar, which was quite disappointing — the portion was small, and the price was unreasonably high for what we received. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with great potential, but there’s room for improvement in the food and facilities.
Barel P — Google review
From June 2025, we stayed here for one night prior to going on our cruise. The views from the room were fantastic and we enjoyed the roof-top pool. Unfortunately, the bar was not open during the time we were swimming. The rooms were good and we enjoyed our balcony view. Thanks for the great stay.

Excellent hotel with first class facilities rooftop pool, indoor fitness centre with sauna etc room was very comfortable & clean Location was 20 minutes walk to city centre and 10 minutes walk to very nice beaches , good selection for breakfast and I would also recommend their restaurant menu , reasonable priced , well prepared and great food. What makes this hotel special was the staff friendly & professional and a special mention to the reception staff on duty the morning 1st October who were extremely helpful when our TUI prepaid airport taxi failed to turn up . I would certainly stay at this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending

Great location, a wonderful, clean, cozy, fragrant, and luxurious hotel and spa! The photos provided matched reality 100%, I found exactly what I was looking for! Impeccable and truly excellent welcome, farewell, and overall service. A big thank you to the entire staff, from the reception to the spa area: all stuff showing and explaining everything, very warm, nice and pleasant peoples. I especially want to thank the young man who was working on October 1st at check-out: such a great, quick, and pleasant farewell.
Deimux233 — Google review
Stayed here for 7 nights and had a very pleasant time. The room was clean, spacious, and had a fantastic view of the sea. The bed was huge and incredibly comfy. We had no problems with the room at all. The rooftop area was very nice and we enjoyed the lovely swimming pool on multiple occasions. Decent location as well. My only criticism is the price and quality of the cocktails from the rooftop bar... terrible! We had 2 cocktails each from the bar and they were so poor. Also, they were the most expensive cocktails we had during our entire stay in Split and we drunk around 10 cocktails each! The second cocktail was so bad that I took it back to the bar and asked that they replace it with some bottles of beer. The male server's response to my request was, "No, I can't do that. That is just how they are made." I then replied, "I don't care if that is how the cocktail is made, it tastes terrible and I paid €13 which makes it even worse. I want to speak with your manager." He called the manager on the phone and afterwards, told me he could give me 3 bottles of beer which I accepted. Really poor attitude from him and for a 4 star hotel, the cocktails are new level bad. If you can't provide good quality cocktails for those kind of prices, don't offer them at all! Other than that, we really liked the hotel. Just don't waste your money on their cocktails from the rooftop bar.

The location was excellent just 200 meters away from harbor and old town. The room was very spacious with great view of sea and cruise ships. The bathroom was equally good. Though the lobby was little small but it was very well done. They had a small gym, sauna, jacuzzi, hot tub and spa at underground level. The breakfast was was very good served at lobby level restaurant. The best part of this beautiful boutique hotel beside location was their reception staff who were always ready to help the guests with smiling faces. Full value for money.

Location was great. Outside the hubbub of the Riva and palace area, but just a 5 minute walk to both. Staff was courteous and consistently friendly and helpful. No pretense whatsoever. The ladies in the breakfast room should be especially commended. They do a great job. The lobby was comfortable and very clean, although the lobby AC was out while we were there. The gym facilities were clean, well equipped, and adequate. I might have used the spa, but you had to allow staff at least 30 minutes to get the sauna and hot tub ready. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, except it didn’t have a smart TV and there were no channels in English. The AC worked well. The room was refreshed daily. We stayed 5 nights and would liked to have stayed longer. I recommend this hotel for couples or individuals for cleanliness and location.
Dan D — Google review
This hotel is perfectly located for the old town and access to the harbour and restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious for a single guest. There is also the bonus on having access to a gym, sauna and whirlpool. Breakfast is classic continental and had a good mix of meats, cereal, toast, pastries etc. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially when looking for good restaurants). Unfortunately due to an emergency in the UK, I had to cut my holiday short after 2 days. Due to the situation the hotel graciously offered to refund me for my lost 4 nights. So can honestly offer 5* for the customer service experience.

Location Location!! Loved the location of this property! We went into the Palace walls area multiple times a day. The breakfast was great, quaint rooms and lovely local vibe when on the balcony. Very disappointing jacuzzi however, needs to come off of the website as an amenity, it was ice cold.

Avoid this hotel – not worth the price or the headache. We booked a 5-Day stay here based on positive reviews and were deeply disappointed. From day one, our room had fire ants, which we immediately reported. Despite multiple follow-ups, the hotel only offered a different room on the third day — well after we had already endured ant bites and discomfort. At that point, it was too little, too late. The property is poorly maintained and managed: Elevator safety is a serious issue: it dropped an entire floor while my partner was inside. Later that night, it stopped working altogether, forcing us to climb stairs at 4 AM after returning from an event. Shower was clogged for a full day, and we had to manually remove hair from the drain. The gym is extremely small and under-equipped, far below expectations for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was inedible, and there was little to no effective customer service. While a few staff members were polite and tried to help, the overall management was unresponsive and dismissive. We asked to speak with a manager multiple times and never received a call back. Despite reaching out through Expedia, Amex Travel, and Chase Travel, none of the booking agencies could reach the hotel because their phone system was conveniently down. We paid over $400 per night and were treated like an inconvenience, not guests. The hotel still refuses to issue any refund, claiming that an "upgrade" offered on the third day should have resolved everything — even after days of ant bites, broken facilities, and terrible service. As promised to both the property and ourselves, we’re leaving this review with deep disappointment. There are far better hotels in the same or even lower price range — do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Hotel Ambasador Split is a newly built luxury hotel located in the heart of Split. The balcony premium sea view rooms offer stunning views of the harbor and the city. The hotel's location allows for easy access to various attractions in Split, including restaurants and shops.
Hotel Ambassador was the perfect ending to our two-week honeymoon in Croatia. After spending part of our trip sleeping on a boat and staying in small accommodations on various islands, Hotel Ambassador in Split was the ultimate luxury retreat — exactly what we needed for rest, relaxation, and a bit of pampering! The hotel is clean, sleek, and modern, with excellent amenities. We especially loved the beautiful pool and lounge area, which offers incredible views of the harbor and town. The spa was a highlight, with unlimited access to the saunas and steam rooms, and the daily breakfast at their restaurant was fantastic. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and breathtaking views. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Ambassador and would recommend it to anyone visiting Split!

Our family reserved three rooms for four nights in July. The hotel itself is nice and the breakfast buffet is decent. They have a nice bar set up off the lobby. Hotel check-in process was fairly efficient. The pool is beautiful as it has a fantastic view of the water and the surrounding boats. Unfortunately, the staff that operates at the pool is nonexistent. Several times I would see three waitresses at the bar and no one would come and take orders. They were either chatting amongst themselves, reading book or on their phones. There was no Manager to supervise. I witness this over three days. Consistently patrons would have to go to the bar counter and place their order. There should be no assumption that there is bar service at the pool regardless if they have employees. Extremely disappointing, considering how lovely the pool is.
Sheri R — Google review
This is a 4-star hotel, not sure how it claims to be 5. The rooms are nice, modern, and clean but they are basic. The staff are all very friendly. The rooftop pool has a great view, but it’s small and gets busy. The breakfast is quite average, the coffee you have to serve yourself as a machine. Hotel seems to be the stop for big bus tours, so waves of people come at once. Location is great, short walk into town. The bar downstairs has a great view and is a nice spot for cocktails.
Alex D — Google review
This hotel is a short walk from the old town, which makes it easy to come and go on foot. On-site parking is available for a fee and was easy once we got the car in. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Their warmth felt sincere and consistent throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a corner room (412), which had stunning views of the ocean, the old town, and the pool area. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool for sleeping during our October visit. Toiletries were Bvlgari-branded and felt high quality, with bath salts included. The minibar was packed with a wide variety of options, though prices were steep eg, €7 for a Coke, which was oddly more than the €5.50 charged via room service. Unfortunately, the fridge didn’t keep drinks cold, which was disappointing. The breakfast spread was reasonable. We also dined at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the experience. A nice touch was being able to choose your preferred steak knife. The outdoor bar area was a great spot to relax with a drink. I ordered a Balvenie Caribbean Cask neat, and it was served properly in a Glencairn-style glass, which impressed me. The whisky selection is extensive, and they appear to have a partnership with Macallan. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. We would stay again without hesitation.
J H — Google review
Fantastic location, modern, spacious, well sound-proofed rooms, and the most comfortable beds! The hotel restaurant is a must-try for dinner; I had one of the best meals of my life - get the osso bucco! Every part of the meal from start to finish was just perfect. The pizza place across the street was also outstanding. Breakfast is hearty with many options, although don’t expect much attention from staff if you’re dining alone (this was drastically different from my experience dining solo at the restaurant for dinner). The granola in the pre-pared yogurt bowls is soggy from sitting too long, so it’s best to make your own. Also, skip the acai bowl on the a la carte menu, it’s incredibly sweet. I thought the hotel missed a few details given the price, but overall, I had a lovely stay. If you have late checkout, confirm with reception that you will have wifi for the duration of your stay, as well as door key access.

Incredible hotel. Excellent views, great location, high tech, bvlgari amenities. Absolutely everything you could want. The breakfast is amazing, buffet style and à la carte available. Easily the best hotel close to the split old town.
Jordi E — Google review
First, we never experienced a broken toilet in a hotel of any star. My wife almost slipped on the floor. Basically, the toilet seat was just put on the toilet without any screws to fix it. It was not attached to the toilet and it was a safety problem. I didn't know why the housekeeping could just ignore it. It was impossible to be unaware of it. That's unacceptable. Secondly, this hotel has no service At All! The second night, I ordered a ice bucket from the front desk, the staff called Jaco/Yaco asked me to go to get it myself from the kitchen! I was shocked. He was not that busy or he didn't know he was serving at a "five star hotel". I gave up. We had two bookings because I extended the stay by adding one more night before check in. The check in staff knew it before we arrived. But during check in, she told us she couldn't confirm if we would need to change to another room (weird) , then she promised at least three times that she would call me let me know in 10 minutes when we got into the room. At that time, there was no other guest waiting or behind us. But she never ever called. Also, I requested a higher floor room and only got one on 1/F at the end with only half size of the windows. We didn't understand all the good comments. This is outrageous. We decided to change hotel. We reported the issues during checkout, of course nothing they could do. I think they used to it. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to our families, friends, colleagues and anyone of you.

As a solo traveler spending four nights at this hotel, I can honestly say that words cannot do justice to my experience. Everything about my stay was absolutely fantastic — from the unique setting to the exceptional staff. The location is unbeatable: right in the heart of Split, within the historic walls of the old castle. This makes the hotel not only convenient for exploring the city but also truly special and atmospheric. What stood out even more than the location, however, was the staff. From the manager to the restaurant servers and cleaning team, every single person I encountered was kind, professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. They ensured that every part of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A very special mention must go to Vladimir, the hotel manager. He is truly one of the kindest and most genuine individuals I have met in my travels. Calm, gracious, and incredibly thoughtful, he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Anything I asked for was arranged within hours — including laundry and other requests. Each morning and evening, Vladimir personally checked in to ensure I was comfortable. Because I often left early for excursions, he thoughtfully prepared a bag with sandwiches, fruit, and snacks to take with me — a small but incredibly meaningful gesture that showed how much he cares about guests. This level of care and attention made me feel not just like a hotel guest, but truly welcomed and looked after. It is rare to encounter such professionalism combined with genuine kindness. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split. The location, the historic charm, and above all, the people — especially Vladimir — made this one of the best hotel experiences of my life. I will always be grateful for the hospitality and warmth I received here.

While we were happy with the room itself - plenty of space, clean, and nice to be within the palace walls, we had a very hard time sleeping in this hotel. The AC was not strong and there was live music about a block away that was going until 1 in the morning. We like to sleep early, so this was not good for us as it kept us up.

Piazza Heritage Hotel is an upscale boutique hotel located in the heart of Split, just 70 meters from the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace. The elegant rooms offer views of the square and come with amenities such as free toiletries, bathrobes, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The air-conditioned rooms feature flat-screen TVs with streaming services, soundproof walls, and city views. The hotel also houses a stylish restaurant.
Reception and housekeepers are very nice and always offer extra services and advice. At breakfast we had an issue with the atmosphere due to music type and loudness levels and a constantly crying dog nearby but the management addressed this from the second day- it was addressed very professionally and the staff offered a promise to make it right- so what started as something very infuriated ended well. I’d love if you offered fresh orange juice at breakfast. Location great, interior is very well thought out- and the ice cream store across from the hotel is worthy of more than one visit. Pistachio, passion fruit, pomegranate orange, deep chocolate all to die for- when we were tired at the end of the day we just bought them and brought back to our hotel and ate in bed. Thanks for the stay.

The rooms were spacious, relatively new, and clean. However both the beds and furnishings were very basic. The television also didn't work. Even though the room overlooked the adjacent square on a Saturday night, very little noise was heard in the room. Staff were helpful for local recommendations and assisting us in exploring the city. This hotel appears to share the building with 1-2 other hotels with similar names, sharing a 1st floor lobby. The ground floor entrance is locked at night, which caused some access issues with the door lock. On a tangential note, the harbor of Split is very much a working port for cruises, ferries, and yachts. Don't feel obligated to "stay on the water" for your Adriatic visit. The old town is definitely where you want to stay, and Piazza Heritage Hotel is a great option.

This would have to be the Number 1 place to stay in Split. The service from start to finish was fantastic. They were all very friendly and went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed it. Parking was a fair bit away from the Hotel, however we were met and collected to be chauffeured in a Golf Buggy to the Hotel. The Rooms were beautiful, such a nice place. The location was perfect as it was in the centre of the Old Town. We would recommend anyone to stay here. One of the best stays we have ever had. Thanks for planning our car to be at the Ferry the next morning, this made transferring to the ferry so easy. A+ ☺️🙌🏽 Dave, Toni and Catisha.

Situated on the edge of Split’s old town, we found this lovely hotel to be the perfect combination of location and fine accommodations. Unlike some hotels inside the “walls” of the old palace, the Piazza Heritage had an elevator to take heavy bags to the upper floor rooms. The view overlooking the large square was fantastic. In a warm week in Split, we found it wonderful to be able to escape the heat at times to our lovely hotel room, then head back out to enjoy the splendors of the city. The staff was tremendous, including helping us find a great hotel when our flight home was delayed a day and they had no vacancies. Thank you, Piazza Heritage! We’ll recommend you to our friends!

We had a delightful one night stay here on our way to Korčula. Friendly reception staff gave us a warm welcome, the room was spacious, and absolutely quiet despite looking right out onto a square. Had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages. Breakfast at the café next door was plentiful and delicious. 100% would stay here again when next in Split.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Piazza Heritage Hotel. As two young female travelers, we immediately felt safe and welcome when we arrived. We were greeted by a friendly concierge that accommodated us early and helped with a seamless check-in process. The room itself was a lovely two person bedroom with a gorgeous bathroom. The entire hotel was clean, bright, and in a perfect spot relative to everything. Our favorite part was the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Kitchen 5. The food options were fantastic, quality and freshness wonderful, and the waiter's service and attention to detail was unrivalled. Whenever we return to Split next, we will certainly be staying at this hotel again, I can not recommend it enough!

Superb location and lovely hotel. Modern and well presented and kept. The staff are really friendly, attentive and helpful. A short walk with the help of google maps from the drop off point, into the pedestrian only old town where the hotel is located. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marmont Heritage Hotel in Split! The service was exceptional, and the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. We especially loved the spacious bathroom and the delicious breakfast that was included each morning. A huge thank you to Marija at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us—especially with coordinating for our big family group. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and full of great local recommendations. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Riva, amazing restaurants, and Diocletian’s Palace. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split!

The Marmont Heritage Hotel provided the most perfect welcome to Croatia we could’ve asked for. Located in a prime position right by Split port and surrounded by restaurants and shops, this hotel was a perfect starting place for mine and my partner’s holiday. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Premium Suite, a gorgeous studio apartment that had a luxurious spa bath, 360 degree shower, comfortable large bed and our own private terrace. We planned on exploring the city on our first night but ended up just staying in the room, eating bagels on our terrace over looking the gorgeous orange roofs of Split as the sun set. A MASSIVE shout-out and thank you to Filip at reception, who was truly a gem. His humour, professionalism and charm left a lasting impression that my partner and I still discuss a month after our stay. He went above and beyond (x4!) to ensure that our stay was nothing less than extraordinary. We are so appreciative to him and thank him for making our time at the Marmont hotel a highlight of our time in Croatia.

Great location right inside old town Split. We stayed here for one night. Everything is around there. Tip: when you arrive via ferry it's quite a distance. I arranged with the hotel to have them pick me up and my friend via golf cart (extra charge) but all good. Glad we did we would've taken us time with our luggage. Hotel room was comfortable. Great breakfast at the restaurant.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of split! Couldn’t have a better location. The room we stayed in was very clean and newly renovated. Amazing big bathrooms and showers. The hot tub on the roof top overlooking old city is amazing. Breakfast was great as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to split!

Excellent stay. Wonderful staff. Special thanks to Marija for superb dining and general guide recommendations. Filip, Anna and all the other staff were charming and engaged. Excellent location and amenities. Couldn't fault.

I meant to book a different hotel with my friends, but accidentally booked Hotel Marmont which ended up being the best mistake I could have made. Just 30 seconds from Narodni trg plaza and my friend’s hotel, it blends chic modern with historic charm. Pilip at reception made me feel instantly at home, gave fantastic dinner recommendations (Laganini was unforgettable), and even surprised me with a gorgeous upgraded room featuring a rooftop-view patio. Marija and the rest of the staff were equally warm and genuine. I left feeling like I’d stayed with friends — and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The Jupiter Luxury Hotel in Split is a sophisticated accommodation option located in the heart of the old town within the UNESCO protected Diocletian Palace. This boutique hotel offers unique rooms, a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the old town, and amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, and bar. The sleek interiors behind its old stone facade provide an elegant setting for guests to unwind after exploring nearby attractions like the Temple of Jupiter and Diocletian's Palace.
Absolutely amazing experience. Front desk staff were awesome. Location unbeatable, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, and inside the palace area. We stayed for one night after boating - 2 adults + 2 kids. Everything from check-in to check-out was so good. Room large and spacious. They even gave us a bottle of wine for our room. Will stay here again, for sure.

Looking back, I think I enjoyed it more that I did at the time. This is a bit of a quirky hotel, ideally located in the Roman Palace /old town of Split. Difficult to access if you have difficulty with steps (it is the nature of the old town, not the fault of the hotel). Our room was 301, right in the top. The room was fairly small, but he bathroom was big, and well appointed. However, I got the impression that the person who designs the hotel rooms never actually stay in them. I hope the hotel will read this feedback because there are some small and easy changes they could make to improve things. There were 4 coathangers in the wardrobe- you might not hang up your clothes, but we like to and there were 2 of us. Please buy some more hangars. There was no hook to put jackets, so we used the towel hooks in the bathroom instead. the bathroom door only had opaque panels, but you could see through the door (if you were standing the hall) There was no reading light by the bed- I like to read in bed, and my mum, who I travelled with likes to sleep with low lights, which was impossible. The beds were very soft, as other people have mentioned in some reviews on booking.com, so if you prefer hard mattresses this is not for you. I am sure when we booked , it mentioned they had tea/coffee facilities, but there were none in the room. There is a coffee machine at the breakfast buffet. However, it was switched off the rest of the day- which was a shame, I would have appreciated it if we had the ability to use the machine later in the day to make tea and coffee. Despite all this I don't regret this choice of hotel, the staff were helpful. location perfect and breakfast was really good too. Just see if its the right choice for you

Cute boutique hotel in a great location. The front desk staff were brilliant, helpful and kind. The rooms were small but nicely done and clean. The only downside was we had two small single beds pushed together and my pillow was like a bag of socks. I found a spare in the wardrobe but it wasn't much better. The hot tub on the roof was the selling point but it is cold. We used it anyway because the views were amazing and we hoped it would be warmer the second time but it wasn't. Loved the service and location. Would stay again. Breakfast was a surprisingly big and varied buffet and very nice.
Paz — Google review
The staff (except for Ivana, she was lovely) was extremely rude and not helpful at all with the luggage or questions we had. The girl in the front desk doesn’t know anything about client service. The jacuzzi is a lie (it was empty and dirty) and the rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. They don’t have no one to help with the luggage (and there’s a lot of stairs to get there) The breakfast was bad, cold and not fresh. The only good thing to me is the location, is very well located but I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.
Manuela — Google review
Excellent and convenient location inside the palace. Felt safe in and around the hotel. We organised airport transfers through the hotel and this worked really well, with the drivers being really helpful and friendly. At the hotel some of the staff were really friendly. The hotel room was nice but seemed in need of some maintenance - a broken curtain rail, room safe not working (reported but not fixed) and we avoided using one of the lights because it made a fizzing noise when switched on! Breakfast was hit and miss - most mornings, something wasn't quite right - cereal not being replenished or coffee machine not working or running out of black tea bags.
Jason R — Google review
The only thing good is location. We were 4 adults and gave us the smallest room given a mistake they did with other guests. The airconditioning was not working and when it did they controlled it from reception. They had no fridge to store water and it was a sauna in there. They brought a small fridge on the last day. There was no pressure in the water and no shower. There was an old fashioned hand shower that did not work quite for a 2m man. The electrical sockets were all loose and falling apart. The worst experience ever.
Steve N — Google review
Outstanding service and location. Right in the Palace. No parking in the palace, but the hotel staff (upon request) will meet your driver and take your luggage to your room. Lots of cobblestone and steps. So I recommend will arrange for this service.
Rosemary F — Google review
This is not a luxury hotel, despite the name. Firstly, whilst the front of the hotel is secure, the back is not and anyone can gain access to the rooms through a perpetually open back door. Secondly, we paid quite a lot, in Split terms, for a nice room. This room was above a restaurant on one side and the street on the other, with no soundproofing in the room it sounded like any person on either side was right there next to you. Moreover, this was advertised as a jacuzzui bath, which it was, but this was at the sacrifice of a wall mounted shower, and if you did want a shower you were at the wrong end of a fix slanted wooden shutter, so the passing foot traffic gets a good view. Lastly, the included breakfast, awful, cold "warm food", watery coffee, and a general vibe of "why are you here" from the staff. In short, don't bother, better hotels with equally good locations.

A gorgeous, beautifully decorated hotel that has recently been refurbished. The hotel oozes elegance. Absolutely loved the style throughout. Spotlessly clean, stylish rooms. Lovely breakfast (and was greeted with a birthday cake too - so thoughtful). We have stayed in so many hotels since the 6th of august and this hotel is the very best. The rooms are spotless, the food is amazing and the service is amazing in the dining room. A charming hotel that offers a touch of luxury and tranquility, just a short stroll from the Old Town. Our room was stylish and comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave excellent advice on day trips and local attractions. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the evening receptionist, Mirna. She was unapproachable and dismissive when we raised a concern about a loud and ongoing noise coming from our air-conditioning unit (it was enough to keep me awake at night). She neither apologised nor made any effort to have it looked at, stating “that’s how air conditioning run here, and if it’s too noisy for us then we should turn it off”. Her attitude was disappointing.

We booked Fermai Heritage Hotel for three nights. It has a perfect location, not too far away from the old town and all the sightseeing spots. Our room (308 on 3rd floor) was rather small and dark, with little daylight only (compared to others). Anyway everything was very clean, helpful staff, and the breakfast nice. Only thing: If you are a coffee lover, don't expect too much. 😉 Parking is possible directly behind the hotel, for a fee of eur 20 per night...

Hotel Amphora is a stunning beachfront retreat located in the vibrant city of Split, where luxury meets relaxation. This upscale hotel features sleek and modern accommodations, each with spacious balconies that offer breathtaking views—perfect for sipping on Croatian wine as the sun sets. Guests can indulge in three inviting swimming pools, complete with a pool bar and plenty of sun loungers to soak up the Mediterranean sun. For culinary enthusiasts, Hotel Amphora boasts two delightful restaurants serving authentic dishes that capture the essence of local flavors.
During the summer holidays of 2025, I stayed at this hotel for a week. Many reviews mention construction work around the hotel, but there's hardly any visible or audible noise. The pavilion they've built in front of the hotel is very cozy. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. There's a wide selection at breakfast and plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. At the pools, you can shower and relax on sunbeds, both indoors and outdoors. There's also a rooftop bar where you can enjoy an evening drink with comfortable sofas and chairs. The pools are open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the rooftop bar from 8:00 PM to midnight. The room itself was perfect and clean. It even had a mini-fridge, nice lighting, and air conditioning. You could have the room cleaned once a day, which was, of course, done properly. The only minor drawback is the lack of light from the light switches and the air conditioning control panel. After two days, an SOS message started flashing on the panel, but it didn't go off. After telling reception twice that an SOS signal was flashing with the answer, "We'll send someone," no one actually came to fix it. All in all, this hotel is definitely worth 5 stars. And I would definitely recommend it.

Really nice location and hotel. Marco (receptionist) was very attentive and provided an amazing customer service to us. No query was ever a problem. Breakfast selection was very extensive and quality was great. The spa is a bonus and really well equipped as well as the gym which kept us fit for the duration of our stay. Only downside only opens at 8am and closes overnight, longer morning openings g time could be better for early risers ;)
Carlo C — Google review
It's a nice hotel, the room is big and clean and the location at the newly renovated city beach is great! Unfortunately, we visited just outside of the main season (first week of October), which meant that the hotel restaurant and the rooftop bar were closed. Which was not mentioned anywhere upfront. The rooms are very nice and modern with a great view. And the breakfast buffet is very elaborate, even though the breakfast hall has little atmosphere. The spa and sauna facilities are also very nice and great. If the restaurant and rooftop bar would have been open it would have been perfect 5* rating.
Max R — Google review
Great hotel, amazing location and view if your expectations are to be close to the sea and beachwalk. Room is very comfortable and nice looking. Only observation is that room temperature was controlled centrally so no option to lower the temp rather than opening the window. Excellent point for families, there is an indoor pool! Food is not their strength but you can survive.
Hector G — Google review
Great rooms. Really clean, nice beds and bathrooms. The breakfast was brilliant and the staff were helpful. Very family friendly with a lovely swimming pool and gym. The hotel is in a great location for Split and other attractions. Easy and cheap to get ubers from. Highly recommended
Maunder's M — Google review
The nearby beach and sauna/spa facilities were enjoyable and well-maintained. However, the overall service at the hotel was disappointing, with staff coming across as unwelcoming and at times, outright rude. The lunch buffet, priced at €40 per person, did not meet expectations in terms of quality or dietary accommodations, there appeared to be little consideration for food allergies. Prices throughout the hotel were exceedingly high relative to the quality of service and amenities offered.
Jenni P — Google review
Quite disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend this unless you intend to sunbath 24/7 and do nothing else. The beach area is family friendly and safe but it is still work in progress. There's no facilities/shops within walking distance other than a tiny corner shop. There are no public transport to get to anywhere unless you book a cab/taxi which cost a fortune because the area is still work in progress and some roads are closed. Walking is not an option and the hotel does not provide shuttle bus despite the area is without transport link (not even a bus). While it has the perfect seaside view & beautiful beach, the hotel itself need improvement for international tourist. On arrival, reception was not welcoming but rather casual. Receptionist was sitting down while talking to us, on their mobile phone and broken lifts were not sorted fast enough. The room was OK but very basic for a 4* hotel. No milk provided for coffee and there's no tea. Sockets for phone charge does not work. As we arrived late in the day and with nothing nearby, we had to eat at the hotel. The buffet options were poor for the price. Meat were overcooked and dry. Desserts were soggy and limited. Nothing was hotel standard but looked more like a badly home cooked meal. Restaurant staff were casual and plates weren't cleared fast enough despite having just a few customers. Both coffee machines were broken! I asked for a packed breakfast as we had a very morning tour. The sandwiches tasted rather stale, apples bruised, and yoghurts rather warm. They were on the floor behind reception when I asked for them in the morning. I asked if they could provide hot drink and some pastry but were told we can get it ourselves as the restaurant is open. This could easily be done by placing some in our breakfast pack. A bit of effect make all the difference!!! My last trip to Dubrovnik was a completely different story which is why i came back. The hotel there was very helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent at the hotel and they baked fresh baguette for our lunch pack. If I had come here first before Dubrovnik, I don't think I would have come back. It is such a shame.

Hotel 1 mile walk to dalmatian palace and Riva. There's graffiti on the wall that signifies the local football club. There's a supermarket across the street as well Breakfast was good. Depending on an individuals diet, the scrambled eggs have a strange taste. Best to stick to hard boiled eggs. Wide selection of food too. There's a pool with 2 saunas, one is dry and the other is a Turkish bath. Beds are comfortable especially after exploring the town.

Came here with siblings from the UK. Positives: staff were friendly and happy to help Swimming pool and sauna are easily accessible Breakfast buffet had a good range of options (but would recommend going at 7:30 since the food gets cold by 8- they don’t heat the trays) Negatives: Bed sheets had stains on them. Room was requested to be cleaned but sheets were not changed. Air conditioning did not work. Weird damp smell in the room. These comments may seem harsh but it’s important to remember this hotel is advertised as 5 stars and therefore it left us very disappointed with our experience.

Amazing customer service! Let me start by saying that we had a terrible experience at another hotel down the street and came to Atrium without a reservation. The gentleman at the front desk was so polite and genuine, and they happened to have a room available for us. The check in process was smooth, positive and quick. Amazing customer service! We were just looking for the place to stay overnight but the hotel is so nice and clean, the rooms are amazing, modern and very spacious! They have a parking, breakfast and a wellness center with fitness and spa facilities. Highly recommend!

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast buffet was lovely with lots of choice, staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us but it did take them over 24 hours to fix a curtain that was down on checking into the room. We made use of the pool, spa and gym which were a little basic but did the job. We didn’t even mind the walk to the old town. The reason I’ve only given one star is that on our last morning we were part way through packing and left our bags on the side in our room with cash in for a short time, while going for breakfast expecting they would be fine as no one was needed or expected in our room for at least another 2 hours (check out time) and all euros and pounds sterling had been taken from 3 different locations when we returned.
Carlie L — Google review
Comfy room with amenities. Excellent breakfast buffet. The reception lady was kind to offer free parking. Good wellness spa. A little bit shallow swimming pool. Finnish sauna with water is above and beyond.

I am giving this hotel a 3-star review. One star for the quick check-in. The second star is for the decent restaurant on the property, which had the best chocolate mousse. The third star goes to the young man who attempted to rectify my problem at 2 AM, although it didn't fully resolve the issue. I do not post negative reviews on establishments that I know I will never return to, so I will keep the negative comments to myself. Edit... Went back to the restaurant for lunch and the service was awful this time. The ladybjust said they don't have to check on you after they give you your food not even to bring you your check to pay. She said I should have came to her to pay :(

Palace Suites Heritage Hotel - Adults Only is a refined hotel offering rustic-chic rooms and suites with outdoor seating and plaza views. Located next to Diocletians Palace, this hotel provides homely accommodation with added luxury. The rooms feature flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, and comfortable king-sized beds. The hotel offers amenities such as luggage storage, safety deposit box, and parking. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning.
Located in a public square, this place has got very good access by foot to most of the happening places in Split. Though the building is old, it has been renovated in a mix of old and modern style. The rooms are comfortable, very well maintained and clean. Limited breakfast choices are there, but they are more than adequate. The focus on cleanliness of the surrounding place is really very praiseworthy. One can see the motorised wet cleaners mopping the lanes in the very early morning. The lanes though old shine through and leave a very pleasant feeling. A lift is available for accessing the top floors. The reception is on the first floor so be aware. Around the square and in the narrow lanes are restaurants and shops of all types. A supermarket, SPAR is about 50 metres away. The palace is also very close by as is the beautiful sea side promenade. The only thing to keep in mind in terms of location is that no cars are allowed in the area, so one has to get down and walk about 300-400 metres with your luggage to reach the hotel. All in all a very conveniently located and comfortable place to stay while visiting the beautiful Split town

Absolutely fabulous hotel . Right in the main square, modern recent refit throughout to a very high build quality with plenty of chrome , glass and wood retaining old stone wall features and character and charm. Great room Spotlessly clean. Fantastic bed slept like at home. Plenty of storage , coffee , fridge, safe, fab bathroom and shower. Friendly staff. Great continental breakfast choice. Would recommend very highly.

Fantastic location and even better insulation! Was right in the central plaza but was quiet as anything. We had one of the rooms on the top floor which was a decent size and modern with a very comfortable bath tub after a long day. Staff were very friendly. Only things to note is i didn't try the breakfast so can't comment and the elevator is slightly scary.

We loved staying here! The location is great and the staff were so welcoming when we checked in. The room was pretty simple but in a good way. It got the job done and I had some of the best sleep here. The breakfast in the morning was our favorite. Again it too is simple but the eggs and french toast were fresh. When you come to Split I highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying here! It was my partner's birthday and Margarita made arrangements for a surprise birthday cake and gifted us with a bottle of wine as well. The location of the hotel is very, very prime. Room was huge and we had a breathtaking view of the piazza and the bell tower. All the more special because we witnessed a stunning full moon (buck moon). Super helpful staff, gave us tips and also helped booked our restaurants and car rides out of Split. Loved Split and our time wasn't enough to visit other places during this trip. So we are definitely coming back and staying here again!

There is a misleading information on the Expedia website they say available parking for €35 per night and it’s a rest area and you are not able to bring the car even close by and the closest parking is 2 mile away and it’s public parking with €35 and one of them is €50 per night and it’s not even belonged to the hotel and it’s just a public Parking It’s not belong to hotel and they don’t even know if this spot is available and they don’t even know how far is it Was rainy night and we had to cancel the hotel they did not have parking

Nestled in the charming Veli Varos District of Split, Divota Apartment Hotel offers a selection of modern studios and rooms spread across five different locations. Each studio comes with contemporary amenities including complimentary WiFi, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a flat-screen TV. The hotel's central location provides easy access to the UNESCO-listed Diocletian's Palace and the lively Riva seaside Promenade, both just a short 5-minute walk away.
We had a lovely two nights at Divota Apartments, with a wonderful spacious and comfortable room overlooking the garden. Peaceful but only a few minutes walk to the centre of Split. The breakfast venue was the best ever. Very helpful service and tourist advise. Thank you

I really liked this hotel. We had everything we needed in the room and the cleaners did a good job each day. Breakfast at Bajamonti was really good, probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, and the restaurant is in a great location.

I stayed in the apartment at 27 Plinarska on the lower floor with a balcony. It was absolutely beautiful and made me feel like I’d settled into my own home in Split. It’s situated on a quiet street in the old town area, so it’s separated from the crowds of the Riva area. The apartment was spacious and seemed to have been renovated very recently. It felt high quality, with nice touches throughout. The bathroom in particular was beautiful. The street and immediate area have everything you’d need, including a small supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the amount of noise from any guests staying in the upstairs apartment above. Being an older building, I could hear every single footstep of the upstairs guests, thunderously echoing through my room. Thankfully they went to sleep at a reasonable time.

By far the cleanest facility I've ever stayed in. The parking is only a few meters away. It is surrounded by all important places in Split, and offers peace and comfort that you have never seen before. Without the slightest complaint. Fully recommended.

Really beautiful stay in an "apartment-hotel" type setting. We enjoyed the location just off the beaten path and the intimate small building that looks out on the yoga garden, do check out the classes! The room was modern with good windows, bath and a small fridge with plates and silverware. It helped us to relax after a long two days getting to Split. The breakfast was ok, simple items, but with full water service, in a nearby restaurant. My only feedback was the music was a bit too much stimulation for the morning for a weary traveler. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful with booking bus travel to Bosnia.

Everything was perfect, from the location to the staff. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a coffee maker and tea making facilities. The bathroom was beautiful and modern and we had some nice smelly shower gels, shampoos and body lotions. Breakfast was included. The chef was great and cooked hot food depending on what we wanted. All the food was organic and well presented. We also used the spa which was great. On arrival, the lady at reception was extremely friendly and showed us areas of interest on a map. Our room was ready early so we could check in straight away. I would definitely use Divota again. Very pretty and relaxing. Thank you

Had a wonderful holiday staying in the deluxe studio apartment 402, this apartment had everything you needed. It was a short walk to the breakfast room in which they have everything from cereals to cooked, everything was clearly marked for you as well, the three lovely members of staff were very accommodating to your needs as well. Reception staff were very helpful and explained where everything was on the map for you, which was extremely helpful. Exceptionally clean and well positioned apartment, it was a 5 to 10 minute walk from the harbour which was a beautiful place for a stroll, A boat trip, bit of shopping or just a simple relax and have a drink or something to eat. Just behind the harbour was the cathedral and bell tower which are really interesting places to visit. If you are up for a walk the forest park is a beautiful place and has amazing viewing points where you can take some stunning pictures

Hotel Villa Harmony is a sophisticated accommodation option situated near the beach, featuring an outdoor pool and a poolside bar. Its prime location places it within close proximity to Bacvice Beach and Diocletian's Palace in Split. Guests can relish stunning views of the islands and the city from their spacious rooms or suites, some of which include private balconies or terraces.
One of the best luxury houses in Split. Young, very attentive team that makes every guest feel at home. Very appealing and tasteful furnishing style that fully meets the expectations and the category. The wishes of the guests always have top priority here.

As a celebration of recent retirement, my wife and I enjoyed a brief stay at the Villa Harmony Hotel in the early part of September. The facility, staff and amenities were all absolutely first rate and we were sorry that we hadn’t made plans to enjoy a longer stay. This being our first trip to Europe, we look forward to visiting Split once again in the not too distant future and including another stay at this beautiful hotel!
Dal L — Google review
My stay at Hotel Villa Harmony in Split was delightful, thanks to its exceptional staff, but the location and surrounding construction were drawbacks. The hotel is modern, clean, and welcoming, with cozy rooms. The staff were the highlight—warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, making the experience truly special. The free buffet breakfast was good, with a decent variety of fresh options. The small but beautiful pool was a serene spot, though ongoing construction around the property added noise, disrupting the tranquility. The location isn’t ideal, requiring a 12-minute walk past a chaotic bus station and taxi rank, plus a busy road nearby adds noise. A nearby beach, while close and with gorgeous water, was disappointing—littered with cigarette butts and looking dirty. Overall, Hotel Harmony shines for its staff and ambiance, but construction noise and the suboptimal location and beach detract. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it if you prioritize service over a quiet, central spot.

We had an amazing stay at the Villa Harmony. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and still walking distance from the city center. The staff is amazingly helpful and very well trained. Breakfast is full of options and the pool even not being so big, is enough for the number of guests. A very nice place to stay!

Beautiful views if you get an upgraded room! Hot tub on the patio. Didn’t get as warm as I would have liked as it was pretty cold with a storm that ran through. Room was cool and unique. Really feels like you travelled back in time! Amazing location. Staff was very friendly and nice. Didn’t get a chance to see much as I was only there one night. Room was a little bit overpriced (850 night) but I can see why. Very quiet and didn’t see too many other guests! Would stay here again! For the view and location! Probably not as expensive as a room… not necessary. 😊

The Heritage Hotel Santa Lucia is a hidden gem located in the heart of Split Old Town, on the famous Narodni Trg square. This 4-star hotel offers a relaxing stay and is situated within close proximity to the city center and the beach. The hotel's stunning roof terrace provides a perfect setting for guests to enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings.
My wife and I recently stayed at the Santa Lucia Heritage Hotel in Split, Croatia, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's location offers easy access to transport hubs, high-end shopping, and all the essentials for a perfect holiday. The hotel itself is very well maintained and our room was immaculate, offering all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out to us was the staff— the best on our holiday. They were friendly and responsive whenever we needed assistance, and going above and beyond when we didn’t expect it. We highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the area!

One of our favorite hotels during our 10 day trip to Croatia. You simply cannot beat the location! We arrived by private transfer and reception greeted us outside the city walls. The rooms were beautiful and I had the best nights sleep. There was zero noise from the bustling streets below. The restaurant not only served delicious food, but also the hospitality was second to none. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Had a great stay at Heritage Hotel Santa Lucia. The location is unmatched. We drove in from Dubrovnik, and as you can’t drive into the city, we arranged to reserve a parking spot with the hotel. Reception was really helpful and kind here. Upon arrival to Split, Marko from reception was waiting for us by the parking spot to help guide us and walked with us and our bags through the city to the hotel. He also responded to all my email inquiries before arrival very promptly. The next day, I realized I left my power converter at the last hotel, so I asked reception where I could purchase one. Drogo was kind enough to not only tell me where to go, but walk me to the store himself! The rooms were spacious for a city center and very clean. Incredibly quiet too, given we were facing the square directly. Highly recommend a stay here.

To be in the heart of old town was wonderful. There were lost of restaurants, bars, pastry, gelato, ice cream, pharmacy, grocery stores, everything you would need for a stay. The hotel staff at breakfast was wonderful. Not only could you do the buffet but could also order from a small breakfast menu. I had the eggs benedict and my son and I both agreed it was the best we have ever had at a restaurant. On the menu it was with salmon, and even though my son loves salmon, he preferred the one I ordered which was replace the salmon with bacon. The room was great and I slept downstairs in the couch bed which was very comfortable and my son and spouse stayed in the upstairs bedroom. The bathroom was a nice size for an older hotel. Loved staying in a more historic hotel and location. With the breakfast every morning, the sites to see within walking distance, I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back. Also there is a park nearby with a nice walk up the steps and incline to a garden and a zoo. Plenty to do here so plan on an extended stay. Also they were a restaurant and had an area for inside or outside to have a cup of coffee and relax in the lounge area. They were prompt with service in this area also. Again, this was a great hotel and would highly recommend a stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and overlooked the lively square -a beautiful view to wake up to! The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Breakfast was of great quality, with a nice variety to start the day right. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Drago at the reception - he went above and beyond! We were already on our way to the airport when he called to let us know we had forgotten our notebook charger. Since the old town isn’t reachable by car, he waited for us at Riva on a very windy day (bura), just to hand it over. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you, Drago, and the entire team at Santa Lucia! Highly recommended!

Hotel Agava in Split is a charming 4-star accommodation located near the harbor and Marjan Forest Park, offering a perfect blend of city and nature experiences. Housed in a beautifully restored Renaissance-era villa, the hotel features rooms with original stone-and-brick walls, exuding period charm. While there's no dedicated spa, guests can unwind in the large in-room tubs or lounge by the outdoor pool.
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Agava! One of the highlights of our visit in April was the warm outdoor pool—it was perfect for our children, who were able to swim comfortably even during the early spring weather. It made such a difference having a family-friendly facility like that available. Chilling by the pool is so relaxing as it gets both morning and afternoon sun - great for golden hour photos against the white/grey stone surrounding the pool. Breakfast was amazing. If you go to the 7 restaurant, I highly recommend the scrambled eggs dish - if you don't order it, you'll be envious when you see it being taken to other tables! What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist with anything we needed—from local tips to arranging transportation. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Hotel Agava for families and anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run place to stay in beautiful Split!

We booked a Triple Room because we were going to be three. The room costed 451 €. Two of us arrived at 10 pm due to a delayed flight, while the third person never made it because their international flight from South America was canceled. When we got there, we explained the situation and asked for a downgrade. They refused, but offered us late check-out (one hour later) and free breakfast instead. The truth is, this is not a 4-star hotel. At best, it’s a 3-star. The infrastructure is old and the access is terrible. You have to carry your luggage for about five minutes up stairs, and at night it’s completely dark. There’s no elevator, so you also have to carry everything upstairs once inside. Our room was at the top, with very low ceilings, we kept bumping our heads. The shower was poorly designed and flooded the bathroom floor almost instantly. Breakfast is served in a venue seven minutes away from the hotel, which is highly unusual and very inconvenient, not aligned with a 4 star hotel. The place was overcrowded, and we ended up leaving without eating because the food never arrived. Honestly, the included breakfast didn’t look good anyway. To make things worse, they actually called us after we left a bad review, and the conversation was handled unprofessionally, they even mistreated us. Bottom line: this is not a 4-star hotel, and it was definitely not worth the price.

when I had to cancel last year due to a death in the family the owner refused to refund any part of the fee.I had booked for 5 nights including breakfast. The tax, breakfast and full stay was kept. When we were notified about the death it was 5 days before I was to arrive. I went back and forth for days with booking and the owner and to no avail. Each kept telling me to contact the other. Eventually the owner gave me a voucher good for 2 years. This past May I used the voucher for a 3 night stay. That was all that was available. The rooms were a good size and clean, the pool is nice. The breakfast is a 10 minute walk to a restaurant on Reva promenade. The location is not great. There is no car access. The car left us off and we walked up a cement hill and then into a dark alley. There are residents in the alley way with garbage outside their doors. Overall I was surprised with all the correspondence the owner never introduced herself or greeted us. Coffee in the lobby had to be paid for. Which I refused since they made a nice profit on me

An absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were great and the hotel is beautiful yet quaint. Situated in a perfectly walkable areas. If you can request room 2 I highly recommend it as it walks out to the pool.

We stayed at Hotel Agava for a week recently during August. We chose this hotel for its ideal location as it is walkable to the main Old Town of Split and because it also has a swimming pool. We opted for the breakfast included option that was at a nearby restaurant/cafe called Brasserie on 7, which provided a good variety of breakfast options on the menu and was a very good and new experience for us with good food and friendly staff. Our room was on the ground floor and right next to the pool, which was requested due to the other member of my party's mobility issues and was facilitated by the hotel staff in advance. The staff at the hotel were all lovely, very friendly and helped with any questions we had. Our only criticism/recommendation was that another mirror with lighting was needed in the main bedroom above the desk/dressing table. Also as our room was next to the pool (room 8), we didn't have any personal/private outdoor space to be able to dry swimsuits and towels and there was no drying rack in our bathroom. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Agava and would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting Split.

Hotel Agave is a lovely, small hotel just a few minutes’ walk from the harbor, the old town, and Marjan Park – perfectly located for exploring Split. Breakfast is not served directly at the hotel but is available at two different cafés along the nearby harbor promenade, both just a short walk away. When we arrived, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until the room was ready, which was very convenient after an early arrival. The rooms and the pool area were clean and well-maintained. The staff were especially friendly and helpful – we felt welcome from the start. All in all, a very pleasant stay. We would definitely book this hotel again!

Clean modern rooms. Comfortable pillows and very good a/c. Has a pool and option to park car in a closed public car park that's 3 minutes away on foot and up stairs (need to carry luggage) Located just 3 minutes away from riva and cente of town whilst being out of the noise and crowds. It is also just 5 minutes away from where the boat tours depart. Breakfast is provided by a restaurant on the riva and were happy to accommodate a packed lunch the night before we had our boat tour. Would definitely recommend

This was the perfect locale for our first time in Split! The room was spacious, big bathroom and comfortable bed. Loved all the big windows that opened up for fresh air. They have a sweet welcoming breakfast nook and make eggs and other breakfast items to order. The Hotel is small and charming which is the best part. Evana the receptionist went out of her way to accommodate any questions or provide help It was my birthday during our stay and she had a big box of the best chocolates waiting in the room for us one day. Being inside the Palace walls can be noisy (garbage collection carts in the morning ) but that kind of added to the charm. Close to many great restaurants. We'd stay here again...and you should too!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the old town. It's more than a 1,000 years old, and you feel the history and charm from every corner. It only has 3 rooms, so if you get one, you can be certai of very attentive service. The staff, and indeed every local we spoke to are the friendliest people I've ever met - and I'm Irish! I booked this hotel through Expedia. I picked the pay later option for once I arrived. I booked through expedia with a American express. I saw later on the hotel website that they didn't accept American express once you arrive and need a visa or mastercard which I have neither. They need to be more specific when booking about what payment methods are accepted upon arrival.

We spent a few hours exploring Split Old Town and were truly impressed. The heart of the city is Diocletian’s Palace, built in 305 AD, with its Roman temples, cathedral, and narrow alleys that now host lively cafés and restaurants. The mix of Roman remains and later Venetian architecture creates a unique atmosphere where history and daily life blend beautifully. The Old Town is full of charm, energy, and architectural treasures. The only drawback is the limited access to public toilets, usually paid (1 €). Still, it’s a must-see destination that leaves a lasting impression.

The Old Town Hall is beautiful. The area has many shops and restaurants. But most of the shops were not open on the weekends. I saw many shops that had items I wanted to purchase but couldn't because we were there on Saturday. However, almost all the restaurants in the Old Town Hall are open for business.

The Old Split Town Hall (Croatian: Stara gradska vijećnica) was built in 1443 as the city started growing and kept expanding outside the palace. It was built in Gothic style and later rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in 1890, retaining the triple arcade. During the Middle ages, it was the seat of government in Split. Between 1910 and 2005, it housed the ethnographic museum, but today the old town hall hosts exhibitions of works of art by the city’s painters as well as many events. The Old Town Hall is located on the Pjaca square (Narodni trg), right next to the Iron Gate of the Palace and the City Clock. It’s surrounded by many palaces belonging to noble families that used to live on the square around it.

Walking and entering most museums teaches you a lot about getting to know a bit more of Croatian culture from that time when they were very detail-oriented and methodical in what they did, and walking through all those hallways you see more artistic and cultural details.

Hotel President Solin is an upscale accommodation option that offers a range of amenities for a luxurious stay. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, piano bar, and spa facilities including massages, body treatments, sauna, and both indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel also features spacious and well-equipped congress halls for business events. The rooms are described as spacious and comfortable with some offering balconies overlooking the beautiful swimming pool and hills.
I had the pleasure of participating in the Innovation in Medicine and Healthcare conference this summer organised at this hotel, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment. What stood out most was the staff — exceptionally polite, attentive, and always ready to help with any question, often going the extra mile by offering thoughtful local recommendations. The management was equally impressive. During lunch, we inquired about one of the dishes and a beautifully presented seashell plate. Our curiosity was passed along to the manager, who responded with a warm and super nice gesture that left a lasting impression. The hotel is also conveniently included among the locations where a Croatian car rental company delivers vehicles right to the door, which made planning our local travel smooth and hassle-free. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere at an affordable rate, especially when booked in advance. Highly recommended for both professional and leisure stays.

I agree with many of the previous reviews regarding dining room service , which is not the fault of the individuals but of management .We were told any deficiencies were down to the fact late May is out of season so at least half the menu was unavailable and there was no tonic water for gin and tonic ! This was our first night experience so did not dine in the restaurant again , apart from breakfast which is help yourself so no problem . The food when it came was OK but not good value . I think six guests in total were in the hotel that day so we expected something special . Overall the impression given was that if you were in a group then management tried to impress the tour operator but if you were just single or a couple you were of secondary importance . Perhaps this is the Balkan way , fair enough . The hotel itself is charming , impressive and in a nice out of town location but the staff do not have the collective training , with some exceptions , to make it a five star experience in a competitive customer facing world . Shame .

Lovely hotel, comfy beds, nicely decorated rooms, great breakfast selection and friendly staff. Pools are great. Outside pool isn't heated though, so rather chilly this time of year. You have to take a bus or Uber into Split. Location is peaceful though with a local river with bars/restaurants etc.very close by.

The hotel was lovely, great breakfast included. The service was marginal the women working the front desk and the spa were not very helpful, they did not explain all the amenities and were not welcoming at the spa. When asked for a towel took several attempts to receive. The pool area was spectacular however the hot tub was cooler than expected.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel President Solin, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, making me feel welcome and well cared for throughout my stay. The hotel itself is elegant and immaculately maintained, with warm architecture and tasteful décor that creates a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay, including a comfortable bed and amazing view. The location is ideal: just a short drive to Split, yet in a peaceful area that offers a quiet retreat from the crowds. It’s also a great base for visiting nearby historical sites and natural attractions. Overall, Hotel President Solin offers great service, comfort, and value. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Split area you won’t be disappointed.

I love this hotel and would happily return. There were two fantastic swimming pools and the breakfast was very nice. It's in the small town of Solin which is some distance from Split, but only a €10 Uber ride to the center. Parking was easy + the little town was very cute and had a few nice bars and restaurants.

I stayed at this hotel twice, first for 3 days in winter and then for 7 days in summer. While it claims to be 5 stars, I found that it did not fully meet those expectations. The hotel has two beautiful pools and a stunning reception and lobby. The reception staff are lovely and very welcoming, which was a highlight of our stay. However, the restaurant was disappointing. Vegetarian options are very limited, mostly pasta, and the servers often seemed unfriendly or unwelcoming, though this might be cultural. Prices are high for what you get; for example, a risotto costing around 25 euros can be found for 15 euros at a nearby Italian restaurant. The rooms are spacious, but there are some issues. The shower pressure is weak, making it difficult to fill the hot tub, and hot water can run out quickly during peak times, around 7 pm. Additionally, housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes we only had one towel for two guests, shower cup boxes were empty, and the sauna was not working when we arrived. The rooms also lack modern conveniences like a smart TV or a coffee maker. The only coffee provided is instant, which is not suitable for those with dietary restrictions. Regarding the pools, they are very nice, but service was slow. Orders were often forgotten or delayed. Billing seemed inconsistent, sometimes asking for payment before finishing, other times taking hours to charge. Finally, the hotel’s location is somewhat isolated, which limits nearby activities. While the facilities are okay, they may not justify the premium price for a 5-star stay.

Absolutely horrendous experience definitely not a five star hotel. You are accosted & harassed for every single dollar. You cannot charge anything to the room! - Room service , food , drinks , hotel services. They want cash upfront. Very shady. All 3 pools on property are freezing, (NOT heated) -hot tubs broken. A/C in room was broken. Room service is only available a few hours. Staff not helpful or accommodating. No one knows what they are doing. The clientele were vagrants. Also awoken with bites everywhere possible mosquitoes or worse

Jadran Hotel Split is an informal hotel offering functional rooms, some with sea-view balconies. The hotel features dining, a gym, and a pool. Located just a few minutes' drive from Prokurative, it offers 20 air-conditioned rooms. The friendly staff provides a warm welcome and helpful recommendations for local restaurants. Guests can enjoy the nearby beach and yachts, as well as clean swimming pools including both adult and child-friendly options.
Way overpriced hotel, with unfriendly and unflexible staff. The building is in terrible condition, the rooms smell like a wet old basement, and there is zero noise insulation to the corridor. There is no lift, the breakfast is very few and very bad. The only positive thing is the location close to the sea, but definitely not worth the prices they charge.

Dear [Hotel Management], I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. We were charged €600 for only two nights, which is already a considerable amount. Prior to our arrival, I had confirmed with your staff that our check-out time would be at 12:00 PM, and I was assured there would be no issue. However, on the day of departure, I was forced to leave at 9:00 AM against my will. Despite addressing the situation politely, I was met with a harsh and unprofessional response. Furthermore, I was informed that breakfast was complimentary and served from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Yet when I arrived during that time, I was told I was late and was denied service.

The air conditioning was great, but that’s about it. Despite how it is advertised on several websites, it was basically a place to sleep near some dirty beaches. The hotel said that they do not “acknowledge” parking—the incredibly narrow parking lot that was connecting to their building was constantly full with those going to the bar next door. The pool was out of commission—a two man crew was working on it all night with loud power tools. We paid extra for a sea view, but could only see a sliver of the sea due to the large Jadran dome. Left much to be desired. Unless drastic improvements are made, we will not be back and would not recommend to friends.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!! If I could rate ZERO stars I would; the only good reviews are from YEARS AGO and reflect NOTHING; THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE. Go somewhere else. The girl at the front desk didn't even know what was going on when we showed up to check in, EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT/ EXTREMELY RUDE; The rooms were garbage and smelled horrible and walls were stained. The bathrooms weren't clean, the older women was extremely rude and took videos of customers and yelled at our friend for talking on the phone outside??? This place is not worth. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!

First of all, there ıs no swimmimg pool in hotel, pictures are cheating people. Rooms are terrible and stinks. Ait condition and Bath tube ıs leaking water. And you cant even sleep ın hotel because of the club very close to hotel. After midnight there are spoiled drunk English teenagers shouting and yelling ın front of the hotel waiting for uber. Terrible hotel and very expensive due to their services.

Reception were mostly lovely (two women) yet sometimes encountered very uncomfortable bald bloke who kinda gave off the serial killer vibes. Can't complain about breakfast and Aircon as they were both good, so was the view. Quite a few insects which bite you however which wasn't ideal. Lives up to the 3* rating, but can't really complain.

If I could give a 0 star to this hotel I would. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The rooms have mold, barely functioning AC and they clearly don’t clean the rooms before the next person checks in. On top of that the owner of the hotel is a mean lady that almost feels like we are asking her for permission to stay at this hotel. Save yourself some trouble and disappointment and stay somewhere else. Also the pictures of this hotel are deceiving

If you're looking to contract verrucas in rainforest-like humidity, look no further. A broken air-conditioning system dripping through the night added to the Amazonian feel as well as the sopping wet drains in the shower room that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the Adriatic quagmire that is Hotel Jadran. Despite us asking for the above issues to be resolved, the staff fully cosplayed us as an uncontactable Amazonian tribe, promising a mystery engineer that never arrived.

Haven’t stayed at the Hotel, just stopped at their restaurant for lunch. We had a tomato soup, then the grilled salmon and the Greek salad. Everything was amazingly bad, from the quality of ingredients to the taste. *the foreign girl working was nice

We couldn't be happier booking this stay In Split, Croatia. The location is fantastic, a small walk from the Ocean and markets. Very central to the ships and restaurants. The hotel itself has a wonderful group of staff who make you feel very welcome. Their restaurant has an outdoor open area where you can watch the people or traffic fo by. It's overall one of the best.

Ellure Luxury Suites offers a serene and stylish accommodation option with an outdoor pool, stunning sea views, and a well-equipped fitness center. While it's popular among couples, the hotel is suitable for all types of travelers. Guests can take advantage of various activities nearby, including bike rides, and enjoy the vibrant nightlife in the area.
(This is an older review that I didn’t get a chance to post ) The Ellure Luxury Suites was the perfect vacation dwelling for us. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The modern decor and functionality made it feel like a home away from "Home", which made for an extremely comfortable stay-so much so, we extended our visit an extra night. We opted for the King Partial Sea View, with what turned out to be a fully equipped kitchen. There's also really nice workout room on the bottom level, though I must admit I didn't use it, but will definitely do so on my next visit. Breakfast offerings included a fresh array of fruits and freshly prepared breakfast foods. There was something to satisfy all palettes. The food was delicious and made for a great start to each day. A special thank you to Snjezana, for always greeting everyone each morning with her wonderful smile and willingness to accommodate guests needs. The owners take great pride in the establishment and it shows. They thought of just about everything that would make this a luxurious vacation spot. For those who feel like it is too far away from Old Town because of the 20-25 minute walk, consider taking Bolt or Uber. We can thank Lara at the front desk for giving us that tip. The trip to city center cost less that 3 Euro each way, with minimal wait times. We rented a car, since we were also traveling to Dubrovnik, and the Ellure has free and secure parking. There are wonderful restaurants and beaches within walking distance, and a supermarket. The convenience of the location made this an excellent choice for us. The entire Ellure staff, from reception to guest maintenance, were very professional, helpful and very friendly. Thank you George and the Reception team of Nina, Lara, Ivana, Ante and Andela. Your personal recommendations and complimentary services made our Anniversary even more special. We look forward to our next visit with you.

The hotel is about 30m walk from the very centre of Split and is a modern building. Its lovely inside and absolutely spotless. There is a small but beautiful swimming pool and it is a bit of a calm oasis. There is a good gym too. Breakfast is great and can be eaten inside or outside. There is no bar or cafe/restaurant, so this means you may need to plan to get anything you need yourself in the way of snacks and drinks, although there is a minibar (but we are all scared to eat or drink from mini bars aren’t we!). The absence of any drink service or even a water fountain at the pool is quite a big issue. I was told their pool service hadn’t started yet, but then at least have a fountain or a fridge with water bottles. Its a pity because otherwise the hotel is fab. And all the staff were helpful and friendly.

Clean and big room with balcony. Comfortable bed. Ritual toiletries available. Easy to reach city centre: we would take the bus daily (regular service, 10 minute ride, cheap 1-day or multi-day tickets can be bought from ticket machine). Short walk to a couple of beaches. Many nice restaurants nearby. Pool was sufficient size for the number of guests. Staff was friendly, helpful and gave tips and suggestions. Rooms can be better soundproofed: we hear everything on the corridor, and traffic outside. Overall positive experience!

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The place itself is lovely, we had our room made up each day, the staff at reception are welcoming and friendly and we had a complementary bottle of champagne with our room. There are shops and cafes nearby, there are beaches a short walk away and also lovely restaurants. The suites are a 25-30 minute walk from the main part of split. It’s an easy walk which we did quite a bit and Ubers were about £4 each time so this wasn’t too much of an issue, but can get expensive if you don’t want to walk.
Daisy A — Google review
A great hotel with lovely staff, rooms were large and comfortable with a good gym and pool area. George the owner was really helpful and tried hard to please, we were ripped of with a taxi from town at €45 on the first night (should have been 5 or 6 euros) which the owner reimbursed as a good will gesture and offered a taxi when needed. We used Uber which was easy enough. Parking is good if you hire a car, outside or underground if you prefer. I would recommend this hotel and would use again if we visit Split again.

Perfect apartments, the standard of finish to the property is 5 star. Everything so clean and modern. The gym is very good, breakfast is amazing. The only thing I would say that is less than 5 stars is the location, it is not very close to the beach or the centre however, only a short taxi ride from most places. I would recommend a water machine by the pool.

The hotel is located in Stobrec and provides air-conditioned apartments and rooms with free WiFi access. Each unit features a seating area, flat-screen satellite TV, and private bathroom with bathrobes and a hairdryer.
Really nice family owned hotel placed right by the beach! (you can hear the waves rolling in from the room) Really great service alround - always a smile and extremely helpfull. Has a really nice pool and pool area. When the sight seeing was on hold, the only question after the good breakfast was, do we start at the pool or the beach. Definitely coming back, but bringing at car next time, as there is so much to see in Croatia / Dalmatia. Ark hotel has our warmest recommendations for a family holiday.

My wife and I just stayed at the Ark Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The room was cozy and kept very clean. The view was spectacular and the beach was great and water refreshing which is accessible from the hotel. A few steps down and you are there. The breakfast in the mornings were wonderful and very nutritious. The family that runs the hotel is incredible. I can't say enough great things about the service and care they take care of you. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and just take it all in.

We traveled as a big group to this hotel. The owner is the worst host I have ever encountered. He hovered around us at all points and would not leave us. He organized a buffet dinner that was overpriced and served 5 dishes in total for a price of €30 per person. He has no idea about how to run a hotel or guesthouse. The rooms are absolutely not worth €200 EUR. He doesn't have any staff other than his daughter and wife. The place is 40 min from Split and the only redeeming feature is the access to the beach from the stairs although there's no lights near the stairs or in the pool area

This is a wonderful holiday apartment complex. The apartments are very comfortable with good beds, bathroom, living room with kitchen, airco and private terrace. Breakfast is included and served on the top floor with beautiful views of the sea and the surroundings. There is a large rooftop terrace. It is also a great place to sit and relax in the evening and have a drink. For a swim you can make use of the swimming pool where there are plenty of sunbeds and olive trees, or you can take the steps to the sea, that is right beneath the cliff. We came by car and the road that goes to Ark apartments is quite small in relation to the booming tourism along the coastline. The urban planning in Stobreč isn't that good... It is a great advantage that Ark apartments has its own private car park! The owner and his family are really friendly and helpful. They gave us some good advice and made a reservation for us in one of the best restaurants of Croatia. Our kids also had a great time here and they felt at home! We would recommend this place to everyone who is visiting the Split area.

We had booked a hotel for 2 adults and 2 kids on expedia, because that was one of the few hotels that accepted a family of 4 in their rooms. When we got there we were told that our 15 year old was considered an adult and they would not accomodate us in a room (eventhough we showed them expedia lets you book a kid until 17). Maria the daughter of the owner that seemed nice at the beginning and said she would help us, came with her best option that we had to book a 2nd room for almost 1000 usd extra for 4 nights and that it was forbidden for them to to have 4 in a room as they could close their hotel...not true as we found other hotels to accomodate our party of 4 right after.. We had to change hotel as no real help was offered and Maria told us specifically that no problem they would not charge us any night that again she was helping us. We booked another hotel and expedia called them to authorize full refund and her dad that was there also, told them that he would charge a full night as a penalty ($250 usd). This family hotel have no word, are not willing to help at all even with proof of all reservation and would rather loose the other 3 nights we had on a half empty hotel than do business. Hotel is far from split and has nothing close by. Would not recommend in general.

Nice place! Just far enough outside the city. I had a small maintenance issue which the owner handled very professionally within five minutes. Rooftop deck with dining tables and beautiful views. Someone else mentioned the breakfast is inadequate, and I agree. Also no lunches or dinners are served and yet one may not bring one’s own food or wine up to the rooftop deck! What a waste.

Sperone Heritage Hotel is conveniently located near Diocletians Palace and Prokurative square in the Spinut neighborhood of Split. The hotel offers a Continental breakfast, a terrace, and a spa center. While it may be challenging to access with luggage due to its location up an alleyway, the tranquility and proximity to restaurants make it worthwhile. Guests have praised the extremely nice and accommodating staff, beautiful and clean rooms, as well as its close proximity to various activities and dining options.
My wife and I spent three nights in Split and stayed at this beautifully appointed hotel. It was located perfectly near the city center, but far enough away for some quiet relaxing time. We made great use of the pool and the patio area. Everything is meticulously maintained. Breakfast was very good, and there were several coffee options. Just as important, we found all of the staff to be exceptional. Their friendly faces and attention to detail during our stay made the experience even better than we imagined. They assisted us with dinner recommendations, and all of them were as good or better than the last! We highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay again when we return!
DB Y — Google review
If you are considering this hotel, please read this review first. The overall rating and pictures can be misleading, as our experience did not reflect what you would expect from a four-star/luxury property. Good: The location is its strongest point. It is tucked away in a quiet area just outside the crowded palace streets, so you can enjoy peaceful evenings yet still walk everywhere easily. The breakfast is okay as well. Bad: What really affected our experience, however, was the SERVICE. The front-desk were polite but not genuinely welcoming or helpful. A few incidents that happened: On our first night, we asked for recommendations for the following day since the weather forecast predicted heavy rain. The receptionist responded, “I don’t know, I don’t go out. I stay home or visit friends.” Even if that were true, someone working in hospitality should still be able to offer guests a few local suggestions. That kind of answer was surprising and disappointing for a hotel that presents itself as four stars and charges over $200/night. The next day, when it started pouring, we asked to borrow umbrellas. There were four behind the desk, but we were told they were reserved for a wedding and that other guests had already asked for them. The staff suggested a few places nearby where we might buy one, but those shops were either closed (it was a Sunday) or didn’t sell umbrellas at all. Again, not the level of care or problem-solving you’d expect from a hotel of this kind. We also had an issue with a clogged sink in our room. When I explained the problem, the front desk staff member turned on the water and gave me a look that suggested there was nothing wrong. Within seconds, the sink backed up exactly as I described, but the interaction was awkward enough that I found myself saying, “I’m not lying.” That moment alone said a lot about the overall careless attitude and lack of professionalism. The room itself was VERY basic/simple and not particularly comfortable. The mattress was clearly old and low quality, and you could easily feel the springs. There was also very limited space for hanging or storing clothes. Looking back, I wish we had noticed the reviews mentioning similar issues before booking. While the location and breakfast are fine, the lack of warmth, attentiveness, and comfort makes it difficult to recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, we do NOT recommend it.

Loved this hotel! The staff were amazing. Rooms were great. The AC went down to 18° so it was a little warm but not too bad. Pool was nice and warm. Great breakfast. It was in town but not in the tourist spots. Restaurant across the street. The staff even walked us to the taxi when we were leaving. Highly recommend it and when we come back, we're definitely coming back here
Mike Q — Google review
We had a wonderful stay at the Sperone. Well maintained property, very clean, breakfast every morning was solid and balanced. The location was PERFECT for all the sites but just out of the fray for it to be quiet at night. The pool is the perfect size for amount of guests staying there. Any critiques we have are personal preferences but depending on what you want to do on your vacation could be helpful information! We wished breakfast was available a little later for days we wanted to sleep in. It was hard to sleep in past 8 AM as we could hear breakfast go on downstairs. Same goes for maid service, we often were trying to rush out the door in the morning to ensure our room got cleaned. Lastly, rooms are small however they did a phenomenal job with planning the space they have. You can tell there was a lot of thoughtful planning with storage space, the curtains to pull around the glass showers to maintain some semblance of privacy and contain steam in the room. I can’t imagine many other hotel rooms in Split are much bigger anyway! We will recommend this property to friends and family for sure.
Annie M — Google review
Completely overpriced for what it is. Yes, the location is good, but: no coffee or fruit at breakfast one morning and a sullen receptionist telling us ‘well, I called my manager’; 2 single covers on all the double beds; room with a toilet in one corner and a shower in the other. Far, far from the ‘luxury’ they claim and the £200 a night price tag in June. Don’t make the same mistake - lots of better places for half the price (and much, much better ones for the same or a little bit more).
Paul D — Google review
Stayed for 4 nights in June 2025. Hotel and staff were fantastic. Front desk staff, in particular Ana and Lara, were friendly and helpful. We used the hotel option for airport transfer and worked great – Lara met us on the street to guide us to the hotel. Room was small-ish but clean, comfortable and functional. Noise from the hallway carries, but it’s minimal and we had no other problems with noise. Property was clean and the small pool was a nice amenity to have for a hotel so close to the city centre. Breakfast had several options and despite running out of a few things along the way, was good. On a side note, we did get a little ill while in Split, and Ana was fantastic in doing her best to make us comfortable – recommending a local pharmacy and what to buy, as well as giving us her contact information in case we needed anything urgently – felt like we’d known her for years! Thank you Ana. Anyone considering here, we give a full recommendation and location can’t be beat.
Don F — Google review
Overall we loved Split and the location was amazing for a three day stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and tucked away but very close to restaurant, beaches, cafes etc. The team at the hotel were incredible, very helpful, kind and professional but sadly this is where it stopped. Upon arrival we were upgraded to our delight to the Penthouse. A great room with an incredible terrace that you could sunbathe all afternoon on. However everything is dated and not thought through especially for the price per night. The shower was rubbish, full of limescale and worst of all only enough hot water for about a five minute shower, one of us had to either wait a couple of hours or have a cold shower. For a coffee in the morning, you’ve got a crap budget kettle and two bags of Nescafé instant coffee. The room itself was dirty, layers of dust on selves and a basic curtain to conceal the bathroom, no hooks to hang damp towels, it all felt very un boutique and rather cheap. On the occasion that you do want to use the roof terrace, there are no staff to be found, so much for “please call and we can bring you drinks” ( oh yes you have to call them from your phone as there isn’t a room phone) Overall pretty disappointing, wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a short romantic break.

A little far from the old city but a 20 minute walk isn’t bad. The view is to die for 😍 The room was beautiful. Big beds to spread out and enjoy. They had a beautiful bottle of wine chilled and waiting for us when we walked in. The staff was friendly and explained all the amenities. They offer to have breakfast delivered to the hotel to you as well and it’s a great selection. The gym was super cool too. Lovely sauna, just make sure you have it turned on before your workout. They have a small space but have amazing equipment that is multipurpose machines (lat pull-down/chestfly/preacher curl/leg extension machine all in one), they have enough to get a solid workout in. And if you want, you can book a massage! Overall, lovely stay!

Fantastic suites hotel . Extremely warm welcome from the receptionist who showed us around. Pool and sun deck overlooking the ocean is just beautiful. Plenty of beds and sunshades/towels. Our room (Charm) was fabulous, all gold and black. Wine, water and chocolates were a lovely surprise. The bed was sumptuous and so comfy so we had a great night's sleep. Bathroom also great with toiletries supplied. Small kitchen which was well equipped and included espresso machine. Ample parking in covered underground car park when we were there. A 20-25 minute walk along the coast road to old town Split. Just 8 minutes drive to the ferry terminals. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Amazing hotel with only 6 suites. Service was kind and attentive. The Ground floor suite was perfect and beautifully laid out. 2 large double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room/ dining area and a large outdoor terrace. They don't have a restaurant but can order food in. On the hand, they are some lovely local restaurants within walking distance. The pool are is stunning with an incredible vista of the sea and uslands. You can get an Uber for 6/7 euros to get to Split old town/Riva. Would definitely stay there again.

This place sells itself as a 5-star hotel, but it’s nothing like that. The photos with cava, fruit and breakfast are pure marketing – none of it exists when you arrive. • There is a bar area, a terrace and even bottles on display, but it’s just for show. Nobody serves you, not even a glass of water. If you want an agua or a cava, you have to order from outside, pay extra, and wait until someone delivers it. • Breakfast? Not included, not served. You either pay delivery fees for food from somewhere else at a fixed time or you go out every single day. • Cleanliness was terrible: dirty beds, dirty bathrooms, dirty terrace. Definitely not 5-star standards. Completely misleading, uncomfortable, and far from luxury. We would never recommend this hotel.

The modern, well-equipped rooms are nicely arranged, providing a comfortable stay for guests. While the hotel doesn't offer catering, there are dining options within walking distance. The historical building's original interior design exudes character and charm, making it highly recommended for visitors to historic Split.
The room was elegant and clean. Location was great, at the very centre. Everything very nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s quite noisy outside, specially during the night, but once you close the window you can’t hear anything. You will have to turn on the AC, of course, because with the rooms closed the room turns into an oven. I guess that was the only not-so-goos thing.

It’s not a hotel, it’s an apartment. Room is good, but they do not have hotel facility. Not even have a proper operational reception. Only have 4 rooms. And the receptionist is sweet but is only available for few hours during the day.

Modern apartments located in an otherwise old hotel building. Very nice design but not everything is functional (like the water heater which has no accecible powersocket). Did not try the TV. The wifi is quite slow. Breakfast is not available. The hotel staff was nice and tried to be helpful. The location is great , very near the city center.

Stayed here for 1 night on the last day of my honeymoon and loved it! Very different style of hotel but that just made it really special. Impeccably clean white marble bathroom with jacuzzi bath - excellent. They do breakfast but had an early flight to catch so left before without trying it but if it was up to the standard of the rest of the hotel I'm sure it would have been lovely.

(Translated by Google) Stay in March 2022, 4 nights. In an ancient building, nice at first glance. The rooms would be ok, IF they were maintained: problem with hot water, multiple marks in bathtub, missing window curtain. The best: no double sheet, a duvet folded in 4 placed on the bed. Heating (air conditioning) faulty, or even stopped. No heating in the bathroom (the radiator exists but does not work). And finally, we left for a tour from 9am to 7pm. When we arrived at the room, the windows were open (since the cleaning staff had passed by). It was 8°. Impossible to take a shower. As for the door key, permanently disconnected. No service is provided other than breakfast, in a small room, served by the receptionist!! HOTEL TO AVOID. DOES NOT DESERVE THE 4 STARS. HOTEL A EVITER. (Translated by Google) Very good location - very close to the city center, the embankment 👍🏼There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, at the same time there is no noise from people and cars. The room itself is good, there is everything for comfort: kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, large shower, towels, air conditioning. I didn’t have enough of a proper blanket (it’s already cool at night in October, and there was only a blanket without bed linen). The owner is a very nice woman, friendly 👏🏻 I also liked that in the common corridor there was a table with various useful things (umbrella, after-sun cream, books), very nice ☺️ (Original)

Forest Park Marjan, located in Split, is a beloved natural oasis offering a serene escape from the city. With its lush pine forests, peaceful walking paths, and breathtaking viewpoints, it perfectly showcases the beauty of the Dalmatian coast. Whether you're into hiking, cycling, or simply admiring the scenic views, Marjan provides a harmonious blend of nature and urban life.
An absolute must-do while in Split if you’re able to walk up hundreds of steps! Loved the gorgeous trees while hiking up to the top of this mountain! Early June was quite hot, however there’s plenty of shade from the trees and a fountain for fresh water at the chapel (half way point) and there’s a lovely beach on the other side to cool you down. There seemed to be a road for those wanting to drive up as well. summer

What a place. Very steep slopes and many, many steps leading up. We were very presently surprised by a ditto train at the peak waiting to take people down to the old town. We hopped on that for the decent, saved a fair walk. If able, it's wonderful lots of nature, plants, and birds to see topped off with a stunning view at the top.plenty of stop breaks and places in the shade. Take a bottle of water with you.

A park worth to walk. Olease reserve drinking water and some snacks. Dista nces are not far, but You'll have up and downhill and it's demanding in heat of the sun. There are some water posts (at the old zoo etc.) and the water ia drinkable. There was a modern sightseeing tower and it was free to visit up! And there is a lift You can use, so it' s accessible by wheelchair and baby trolleys! Worth to visit!

The Meštrović Gallery, located in Split, Croatia, is a cultural gem showcasing the works of renowned 20th-century sculptor Ivan Meštrović. Housed in a neo-classical villa built by the artist himself in 1931, the gallery offers a comprehensive display of his sculptures, including statues and portraits reflecting Classical, folk, and Modernist influences.
Lovely garden and sculptures. Unfortunately the building is being renovated so you can’t enter the building. But tickets were half price, and included entry to the church just down the road. The sculptures were well worth a look.
Antony C — Google review
Nice decent price unfortunately a lot of the gallery was closed when we visited but the tickets were discounted. Spacious and tranquil, really helpful and friendly staff who directed us to the church down the road which had a beautiful coastal view. And nice toilet’s probably some of the best in Split.
Pippa W — Google review
What a gorgeous location. During my visit the gallery was closed due to renovations, so I was only able to visit the gardens featuring about a dozen sculptures. Nothing was labeled (or I completely missed this), probably can buy a guide at the ticket office/gift shop. The architecture and gardens are beautiful, it was very serene with a few visitors around. Stunning views of the Adriatic and a reasonably nice view of the Marjan hill (the cross and the flag) due to construction work. The tickets were discounted and also included entry to Crikvine-Kaštelet, located a 10-minute walk up the road.
Iva Q — Google review
A short walk from Split is this imposing gallery. Well worth the effort and not overwhelmed with tourists. Plenty of artworks to suit all interests and in all materials. Ivan Metrovic had his workshop here and lived here, the building itself is impressive, but not overwhelming. And the view from is something not many tourists enjoy. There are steps to navigate but once inside it is cool and relaxed with space to stand back and enjoy these examples of Metric's creativity. The building is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden and serves as a popular wedding venue. Check what is on before you plan your visit. Not an expensive visit with accessible toilets too.
Nigel H — Google review
An interesting building with a small garden populated with some of the artist"s bronze sculptures. The staff were up front about the fact that the building was closed for renovations meaning most of the exhibits were unavailable, and the price was discounted accordingly. The ticket also includes the former church a little further along the road. Watch out for the cute little tortoises in the garden
Nigel M — Google review
The gallery was closed for reconstruction, so we were only allowed to visit the garden area and then the small church ~400 meters away by the sea, but overall experience was pretty pleasant, people working there were nice and it's a great location to take some memorable photos to bring from your vacation
Pavel — Google review
The gallery was closed because of the renovation. Only the garden and Chapel were open fir visitors. I really enjoyed the sculptures in the garden.

Nice market with fresh fruit and vegetable stalls on one side and souvenir shops on the other. It opens early in the morning and stays open until around 3 PM. Prices were reasonable. Its close proximity to the old city makes it a convenient spot to check out while visiting Split.

Cute local market. Love coming here to see how the local lives and see all the fresh produce. They also have deli and butchers. Not selling seafood as they have a particular market in the old town selling only seafood. Highly recommended for just walking around and see what Croatian fresh market like.

The Saint Domnius Bell Tower in Split offers a stunning panoramic view of the city from its top, making it a must-visit attraction. Climbing to the top is worth the effort, as visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views of Split's Old Town and beyond. The ticket price is reasonable at only 20 kunas, providing great value for an unforgettable experience.
The Saint Domnius Bell Tower in Split offers one of the best views of the city and the surrounding areas. It’s part of Saint Domnius Cathedral, and though the climb is a bit steep with narrow steps, it’s totally worth it once you reach the top. From up there, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Split, the coastline, and even nearby islands. The tower itself is quite impressive, with its Romanesque design and beautiful stonework. The bell at the top adds to its charm and history, and it’s cool to imagine how much the area has changed since it was built. Though the climb can be a bit of a workout and you are not allowed to bring your water with you (they make you place it outside the steps before going in), the scenic views and the sense of history make it a highlight of the visit. Definitely don’t skip it if you’re in Split!
K E — Google review
The bell tower of Saint Domnius is the city's main symbol. You can climb the steps all the way to the top of the bell tower, where a wonderful view of the entire Split awaits you. There is paid entry, but it's not much and worth the walk up!
Mat B — Google review
Excellent 360 degree views across the city and port. The initial part of the climb is a bit tricky with deep stone steps and no hand railings on part of it. However once you get past these steps, the tower opens out and you have a good broad metal stairway to take you the rest of the way to the top. Definitely worth doing.
Miles M — Google review
GO FIRST THING to beat crowds! Well worth the climb up the steps for the view. Note that some passageways up are extremely narrow and very steep. This is not accessible at all if you struggle with stairs.
Danita B — Google review
Climbing the bell tower is a highlight of any visit to Split. The ascent is steep and narrow, but the reward is sweeping views over the city and coast. It’s a tight climb, but the sense of history and the photo ops at the top make it absolutely worth it.
Karl W — Google review
Amazing experience, loved it.great views and quirky staircase leading to the top. Good price at 7 euros. However students get access for 3.5 euro.
Kieran W — Google review
The views from the top of the bell tower are the highlight of the cathedral visit and definitely worth cutting the multi-site ticket that includes the tower. It is a climb up but the view of the city and port make it all worth while.

I didn't stay at the hotel, my friend and I were visiting Split and used their wellness center. It is wonderful. Friendly staff directed us to the changing rooms. The facilities are very clean, and top notch. A mid size swimming pool, hit tub, two saunas, and one steam room. Large showers, and even a machine to dry your bathing suit in the changing rooms. I really enjoyed coming here, and will definitely go again.

Stayed here in June 2025 during a trip to Croatia with my husband. This hotel is great, especially during the summer months when the city of Split is SO crowded. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk to town which we did several times a day for tours, going to dinner, etc.. The only caution is that the walk is downhill on the way to town...but uphill back to the hotel :) The rooms are super clean, albeit a bit small. But it worked for us! They have a great indoor pool that we used to cool off at the end of the day which was really nice. And the breakfast is also great - buffet style with a lot of great options (hot foods, cereals, pastries, fruits, juices).
Jess — Google review
Fantastic Hotel! Very clean, spacious room. Lovely balcony. Housekeeping was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and a great way to start a day of sightseeing. Indoor and outdoor seating which was perfect. The basement spa was the highlight! Heated pool, jacuzzi, Turkish sauna, Finnish sauna. Nice way to relax each day. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the palace and port. Close to everything, but far enough away so that it is quiet. If I were to return to Split, I would definitely stay here again! ☆☆☆☆☆

If you are looking for a hotel that puts you in a twin room when you booked a double (we believe, but cannot prove because we are two men)….has a breakfast that plays early 2000s second tier RnB at 100 decibels whilst the breakfast staff argue loudly in Croatian with each other for 25 minutes…then you’ve found your dream hotel. Oh…you’ll need to like micro rooms too with no room to get round the beds….avoid.

Such a brilliant hotel. The pool and breakfast was included and staff were so helpful. They can sort out any transfers you need. Breakfast was delicious the rooms were so clean and I loved the balcony. We arrived 4 hours too early expecting to not be allowed to check in so early but everything was ready and we were allowed in. Honestly the best hotel in Split Croatia!!

It was our honeymoon trip, but the elderly waiter (I think his name is Marjan) stole my heart ❤️ Good location, a 15-minute walk to the city center. The entire hotel is clean and fragrant. You can buy food and drinks in the restaurant downstairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. As disadvantages I can only point out that breakfast was a bit monotonous and sometimes too cold and we had to call the reception desk almost everytime to have the parking gate opened. We'll gladly return!

Very nice to be able to come back for a dip after walking in the heat. 10/10 hotel and experience.

What a gem! This hotel is located close to the centre of Split but in a very quiet road. The facilities are great but what makes it such an outstanding place to stay is the staff and attention given to their guests. Maria provides all the information you need, books rrstaurants that she recommends, provides ferry information and goes above and beyond what us normally offered on a hotel. Every.member of the team was friendly, helpful and really engaged with clients. I can honestly say we have never had such attentive, caring staff before in any hotel we have stayed in. In addition, the bed was really comfortable, the shower was spacious and powerful, the air con was really effective and the breakfasts were fantastic. The best place to stay in Split without a doubt.

When we arrived, we were treated with warmth, kindness, and generosity. The rooms were immaculate, the property is charming, and the food was outstanding. They accommodated my vegan dietary needs. The entire team there is phenomenal and I cannot wait to go back and stay with them again.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. We enjoyed our stay more than any other hotel we stayed at (which included a couple 5 star resorts), and it was all because of the perfect staff at this hotel. From my first 5 minute phone call to confirmation emails and texts from Mirjana, I could already tell how nice she was and it only got more obvious in person. She gave my wife and I a bottle of wine when we arrived. The dinner recommendations they gave us were perfect. Their breakfasts were also so delicious. It was very clear this staff loves what they do, they love each other, and they treat their visitors with the same contagious love. My wife and I agreed that we have never felt so well taken care of. The location was also just a 5-10 minute walk from anywhere you needed to go. Highly recommend! Best staff of any hotel I’ve ever been to in my life!

This is a great hotel. It was our first time in Split, so finding the right spot to stay was very important. I don't think we could've picked a better spot. The location is perfect. It felt as though we were in the centre of Old Town. Everything was very close by, and if we ever felt we needed to run back to the room quickly, we did. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Terrible customer service. Booked a room for 2 nights, had a friend flying out on the first night and needed somewhere to put his bags and chill and they barely allowed him in the building let alone the room. Very disappointed considering the room was not cheap.

The Plaza Marchi Old Town Split is a 4-star boutique hotel that offers guests a seamless blend of traditional and modern amenities. The rooms come equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, refrigerator, kettle, and more! There are also European, British, and American power socks and charging cables in each room to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
My wife and I had a truly fantastic experience at Plaza Marchi. Our room was fantastic. We got the top floor room with a private balcony and a great view of the city. The hotel also has an open rooftop balcony for everyone. The staff was outstanding as well. The airline lost one of our bags and they went out of their way to help us track it down, which took a lot of the stress out of the situation. And they were happy to recommend great places to go and restaurants to visit. They even offered to set up tours of the city and surrounding area if we needed help. Overall, I'd happily stay here again on my next visit to Split.

We stayed at this amazing hotel which is in a third century castle! It was beyond our imagination on how beautiful it is. From the entry courtyard to the roof top terrace, everything was exceptional. The rooms have all been renovated recently, and I really enjoyed how Nick (the owner) showed us all the historical details of this building. Nick also arranged local transportation for us on a Sunday (when everything else is closed). This location is wonderful for all the shops, the local restaurants on the water, near the ferries, etc. Would stay here again.

Beautiful room, great location, and lovely hospitality! We arrived just after 9am and went to drop our bags off early, knowing check-in wasn’t until 2pm. The lady at reception was incredibly kind and offered to message us when the room was ready. To our surprise, we received a message about an hour later! She helped us with our luggage and showed us to the room, then told us about a local celebration happening in Split and recommended we check out the hotel’s rooftop view—which was incredible. We’d highly recommend this place and would happily stay again if we’re lucky enough to return to Split. Thank you!

Very unique hotel set right in the heart of old town Split. Lots of beautiful details. The rooms are spacious and air conditioned, with excellent pressure in the showers and nice bathrooms. The towels are a bit old and small but fine for a medium price hotel.

Don't get the other reviews? You've booked to stay in a Roman/medieval era building, yes it's dark and you do have to carry your bags up the first floor but there is a lift from there up. You'll have similar issues if you choose to stay anywhere in the old town. Definitely something to be aware of if you've got any accessibility issues. We loved our stay, incredible roof top terrace and worth it for that alone! We stayed in a superior queen and there was a lot of noise as there is a bar right by it although once windows shut most the noise was muffled and it went off at 11pm.

Best location! Tough to locate. Sign is very high! Inside the palace walls. Stayed 3 nights. AC didn’t work on night one but they quickly gave us 2 portable units to try and cool room and repaired (needed to be reset). It was cooled in 4 hours and great after that. Really cool place overall beautifully decorated and super spacious!!! You must carry your luggage up a flight of stairs as elevator doesn’t go to street level. Our room had no shower. Only claw foot bath w sprayer. Not ideal but a learning curve! You need upper body strength to get out of tub. Pillows were horrible. Stiff neck each night. Bedding also needs improvement. Roof top really nice. Also it was super quiet despite being right in the thick of it. Overall it was a positive experience.
Jim D — Google review
We had a lovely three night stay. We could not have selected a better hotel based on location. If you want explore Split, then you are in the heart of everything. There is a beautiful roof top area. I only wish we knew about it earlier. We were not told about it until we were checking out and needed a place to sit and do some work before heading to the airport.
Alexis S — Google review
Awful. Don’t book! Very very RUDE manager. Found old pizza in fridge from last guests. Tiny dark rooms with no natural light. No lift to ground floor so have to carry bags upstairs with no staff help. No credit cards. Only redeeming feature is its location other than that ovoid at all costs!!!

The Heritage Hotel Antique Splits is a sophisticated family-run hotel located inside the walls of the Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 4th century. It features refined rooms with views of celebrated Split landmarks, including the Royal Palace and Cathedral.
Across the board this experience was above and beyond. I have been to boutique hotels in the states and Europe, but the level of care and attention my husband and I found here left us feeling like we struck gold. Additionally, the location is unbeatable. We had a view of the bell tower and we were so glad we chose that spectacular view. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend to anyone traveling to split.
Hilary G — Google review
The staff's customer service, room comfort, the old town, and the hotel's breakfasts were superb! From the beginning of our 1-week stay to its end, Ana, Ante, Jan, and Ivan were outstanding in their assistance, friendliness, and professionalism. When we needed help with the hotel's nearby parking, luggage, local transportation, restaurant suggestions, and even a loan of beach towels for an impromptu beach visit, the Heritage Hotel Antique Split staff exceeded our expectations. Also, the hotel and our room were very clean, and the breakfasts--a combo of buffet and menu--were plentiful and delicious. And to have a room that included the stone masonry of walls within Diocletian's Palace was remarkable. In our opinion the value was well worth the price. No complaints about the hotel whatsoever! Highly recommended. For beach-goers: to have some comfort walking on the stony Dalmatian public beaches, consider bringing water slippers/shoes with thick rubber soles and be prepared to lay not on sand but on pebbles of cement bordering the water.

So cool to stay in a hotel where the room had walls of Diocletian’s palace. Room was large with a really nice shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was great and included little pastures that the chef, who is also a skilled baker, made every morning. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They met us at the parking area and helped us get our bags from the rental car to the hotel. Felt like royalty here!

Been to many hotels and this is by far and definitely the BEST. It's a history hotel located within the palace. rooms are fabulous ,clean ,quiet and services are impeccable from Ante. He welcomed us ,helped us with our bags fm car park to hotel and explained points of attractions with map . Bfast was delicious with many choices of local food . We will definitely stay again on our next trip . Best of best hotels .Kudos to ante who has make our stay so memorable.

Quiet, out of way hotel in middle of Diocletian’s Palace. Large room with big bathroom and full size shower. Stayed in the middle of tourist season and it was really nice to step away from the craziness to a quiet, cool room. Highlight was the breakfast, which was made to order and the great service which is what made this a very special hotel. We interacted with Jan mostly but all of the staff was helpful and friendly. When we left we felt Jan was a friend. He was always there to greet us when we came into the lobby with questions about our stay and suggestions. He even walked us to the ferry on our departure. My wife left a jacket in the room and he saved us by putting it on the next ferry to Hvar so we had it later the same day! I highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely wonderful staff that helps you take care of everything & enjoy your trip from the beginning to end. Thank you to Jan, Ante, and Ana for always going above and beyond from the moment we parked! We absolutely loved our stay, the location is amazing, and we also appreciated that the restrooms were renovated while still keep the charm of a luxury antique hotel. The made to order breakfast, staff assistance in any questions, & more!! Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back!
Mia T — Google review
It's a charming hotel inside the fort, which is roughly 1700 years old! 😲 The staff, Ana, Jan, and Ante made our stay warm and welcoming. They gave us nitty gritty details of things to do, dining options, and guided our next visits after Split. They helped us with the luggage from the parking spot, which was away from the hotel, as no vehicles are permitted within the fort. The facility, room, breakfast, were totally 5 star.
Krish R — Google review
You are literally staying in the heart of the main tourist attractions of Split. Deluxe rooms have a view of the cathedral. Jan is an incredibly helpful person in a hotel, helping carry bags, organise travel and ensuring you have a great breakfast!

The bed and breakfast Five Elements Luxury Rooms is a lovely place to stay, with comfortable beds and great views. It's located in Split, close to some popular tourist attractions, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's also a balcony from which you can enjoy the view.
We had a very good experience staying here. Short and easy walk from this quiet neighborhood to the old town. Suzana gave such great service and made our arrival in Split smooth and comfortable, plus great tips where to eat, what to see and not see. Would recommend this place.
Annette M — Google review
This is the perfect place to book with everything you need within walking distance. Lovely room with comfy bed and pillows. Ana went above and beyond explaining in great detail different places to go. Would definitely stay here again.
Ann J — Google review
Loved our time here. The owner Susanna is unbelievably kind and considerate to her guests. Our room was beautiful, lovely in every way. Convenient to Old Town Split and to the harbor if you are connecting to a cruise on the Adriatic Sea. The restaurant where your free breakfast is served is a quick 10 minute walk, and it was delicious. A word of caution, these rooms are on a hill, you need to be in reasonable health to walk up it after a day of site seeing, or plan to take an Uber. The only thing that I think that could be improved upon would be the lighting in the bathroom. Spots above your head made it difficult to put on makeup, this could easily be remedied with a lighted wall mount mirror. We would absolutely stay here again.
Cara F — Google review
This is the perfect location with a nice 5 minute walk to get to the Golden Gate of Diocletian's Palace. The room we had was super nice and comfortable. Everything looked new and very well made. The best part of our stay here was Suzana. She is the best host I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. She went out of her way to make our stay better than expected. She was always available via text and gave us so many wonderful suggestions for restaurants, excursions, museums, gelato, booking agencies, etc. She even assisted us with booking a few restaurants and they were amazing. She made us feel so welcomed and truly made our stay priceless.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Suzana was great to communicate with and gave us recommendations for dinner places. Only a few minutes walk to the Old Town. Room was big, clean and bed comfortable. Definitely recommended!
Andreas H — Google review
Excellent value, great location, aptly named. Everything was perfect; super responsive communication about checkin and was able to check in early. A very easy few minutes walk to Diocletian’s Palace. Great AC - we were in Croatia during a heatwave and many other places AC struggled, but this was a wonderful respite after walking around the city in the heat. Was given an excellent intro to the old city, great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended

Clean and beautiful rooms located in the center of split! Everything was perfect! Thanks to Suzana who made us feel very welcome and gave us good tips about Split.
Imane R — Google review
First off let me say that i am a very fussy traveler. We travelled to Split mid June and stayed at the Five Elements Luxury Rooms. All of my expectations were exceeded and is definitely a five star accomodation. The owner Suzana is also a 10 star host. She booked us a private car at the airport and greeted us at the hotel. She recommended restaurants and things to do all of which were excellent especially when you dont really know where to go or eat in Split. Suzana is probably the nicest host that we have ever met and she is always a call or text away with prompt replies. Now onto the rooms which there are 3 of in a nice quiet area very close to the Palace and the Riva Promenade which is basically the heart of Split and where everyone goes. Everything is a short 10 min walk. Rooms are a good size with a great HOT shower and jetted Jacuzzi tub. There is a nespresso machine with coffee and tea for your first shot of caffeine in the morning. Daily maid service is excellent. I would highly recommend the Five Elements Luxury Rooms without hesitation. There are a lot of hotels to choose from in Split but this one is in nice quiet area which helps with the sleep as well as great amenities.
