The fish platter was out of this world!!! We were fortunate to have tuna so fresh that is was in the sea 1 hour before it was served to us. We have had many fish options during our stay in Croatia and Konoba Fetivi was definitely the best! It was simply prepared and perfectly cooked! Absolutely delicious!! The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend!!

Lovely restaurant. We were feeling wary after having had a not so great experience at another nearby restaurant but this turned out to be our favourite restaurant experience of our entire trip. We were sat in a covered outdoor area that was nicely shaded and comfortable with a lot of fun decorations on the walls and even a nice little vintage sewing machine on a nearby table (which, as a hobby sewer, I was delighted to see). Our waiter was friendly and attentive and brought out a tray full of the fresh fish they had available that day. We were able to try out scorpion fish which was expertly prepared (and tasted amazing!) and which we opted to eat with a side of grilled vegetables. We also had a warm appetizer of octopus and chickpeas beforehand that came in a sauce so tasty we used almost all of our bread to sop it up. At the waiter's suggestion we finished our meal with their traditional layered cake (containing figs and walnuts) which was moist and flavorful. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Our dinner was started with a warm welcome. Easy-to-read menu with all prices well listed. The next thing were were presented was the fresh fish platter that allowed you to choose the fish you want, there were turbot, grouper, red snapper, sea bass, sea bream, monkfish, cuttlefish, etc. They would have other sizes available just make sure you ask. We ordered a red snapper, size for two persons and it was perfectly grilled in whole. All we added was some olive oil and salt & pepper. We also tried their black risotto and it tasted like heaven!

One of the best experiences we've had in Croatia. Everything was fantastic, fresh, and perfectly cooked. We ordered a number of different dishes instead of the main grilled fish (since we've done that at other places and wanted to try more stuff) and ended up with a spectacular meal. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Really fresh and well grilled seafood! We saw great reviews of the prawns cream soup and it did not disappoint. We also chose grilled flounder and octopus, which were both really good too. This restaurant is really cosy and pretty on the inside, and service is prompt and friendly. Would recommend! Make a reservation if you can as we saw quite a few people being turned away!

The black risotto is hands down the winner of the day! Rich and creamy and the octopus so very tender. It's a must-have when you dine at Fetivi. The grilled octopus was the most tender and savory we had in Split compared to two other restaurants we visited in Split. And the chef's selection of grilled fish was a very generous portion for two. We highly recommend Konoba Fetivi for anyone wanting the best locally cooked seafood in Split!

The cured seafood selection and octopus stew were amazing! My son ordered the grilled chicken and really liked it too. The staff were great and super friendly.

We had a very disappointing experience here and definitely will not return. For starters, we ordered the soup and the codfish spring roll. The spring roll was the only decent thing we had crispy, flavorful, and well done. Unfortunately, the soup was a complete letdown. It was bland and absolutely no richness or depth you’d expect from a restaurant charging these prices. For mains, I had the squid ink risotto and my husband had the Angus beef. After our starters, we were left waiting almost 20 minutes for the mains. The risotto was dull, lacking any balance or seasoning, and had an unpleasant aftertaste. The Angus beef was chewy and poorly cooked, paired with mashed potatoes that were supposed to be elevated with truffle oil. As a country that actually produces truffles, this version was shockingly below standard flat, oily, and with none of the fragrant quality you’d expect. Service made the experience even worse. We were given a completely different menu from another table, which left us questioning whether there was some form of bias or discrimination happening. And when we asked for the bill, a female server simply pointed her finger at my original (male) server, refusing to assist and continuing her personal chat instead. Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and unacceptable for a place that positions itself as “above average.” Overall: long waiting times, overpriced dishes, inconsistent menus, poor service, and food that is far below the mark in flavor and execution. One good spring roll can’t save an otherwise awful dining experience.

Bokeria in Split is a beautiful restaurant with a stylish and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you’re in a special place. The presentation of the dishes is excellent — everything looks amazing and carefully prepared. However, while some plates taste just as good as they look, others don’t quite deliver the same “wow” factor once you try them. Prices are on the higher side compared to other spots in Split, so it’s definitely more of a treat-yourself place. Overall, Bokeria is worth visiting for the ambiance and experience, but not every dish lives up to its presentation.

Truwel and prosciutto pasta was delicious, Caesar salad needed more sauce. Soup was ok, byt nothing special; soparnik is really good here, recommend it. Amazing wine (local chardonney). Service is very good and attentive.

Sat upstairs by a window. This place was really good. Everything was executed perfectly. The sea bass with the cauliflower puree was a great combo. Dont skip soparnik either for the appetizer!! Would 1000% return. Great location in the old center of Split

Had a great sea bass meal here this evening - very reasonably priced. Wait staff was incredibly friendly and a great vibe atmosphere. Without doubt, if you are into Croatian wine, this is THE PLACE in Split to visit. They have over 160 Croatian wines to choose from, ~30 of which you can buy by the glass. I had a Grk, Pošip sur lie, and a dessert wine all from Croatia - the first two with my sea bass. All were excellent!

If I could give Bokeria six stars, I would. This place doesn’t just serve food - it performs it. Pair it with a Medica, Croatia’s honey rakija - it’s smooth, golden, and just sweet enough to round the salt of the sea from the risotto. This restaurant charmed us completely! The historic setting with its gorgeous interior made dinner feel special. Food was delicious - modern takes on Dalmatian classics with perfect execution. Their wine list impressed us with excellent local options we wouldn't find elsewhere.

Excellent oil-themed restaurant. The quality of the food was superb. We tried the octopus salad, white fish and the amazing seafood pasta. The ice cream with a touch of oil was amazing. The woman was very clisé and professional. They also offer wine-tasting.

Lovely place with the staff which was extremely pleasant and attentive, that made the whole experience even better. I ate meat and my friend chose fish and we both loved our meals! Desserts too, try rožata if you never did before! Prices Are reasonable!

We cannot rave enough about our wine tasting experience at Uje!!!! Marina’s knowledge, professionalism, and kindness did not go unnoticed. I’m gluten free, so she immediately ordered gluten free bread for myself so I could be included in the tasting. My friend is also vegetarian. Marina went out of her way to bring her tomatoes instead of prosciutto so she could taste certain notes in the red wine. We left feeling like Marina was our own Mama taking care of us!!! HIGHLY recommend as a must!!!!

We had the most amazing experience last night at Uje. Matëa was our server! She was so lovely and kind and made wonderful recommendations. 10/10!! We also purchased olive oil and salt from the store next door because it was just that good!!

We enter the Uje Oil Bar today and we're treated horribly. My wife & I were deeply humiliated. We sat down at a table for two. There were a couple of empty tables that could fit 4 people. We said hi to the people seated near us and we were greeted with smiles. We waited approximately 10-15 minutes and a waiter/host came to our table who advised us we are not to sit there & we were instructed to leave. His tone & abusive actions were rude & mean. We were glad to depart this highly prejudice establishment. So sad that such a place exists in Split, Croatia. A hudge DISAPPOINTMENT. We do NOT recommend.

Had dinner here this evening and had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and great value. My friend had the aubergine risotto which she said was delicious and I had the slow beef risotto and as the waitress described it's a "party in your mouth". The staff were amazing! They were super allergen conscious. My friend has a severe nut allergy and they couldn't be more understanding and helpful. They were also very informative about the wine and dishes. The atmosphere on the roof top is exquisite with old movies showing on a projector. I'm so glad we came across this restaurant ❤️

My wife and I went here the other night for supper. I definitely recommend making a reservation to eat up on the roof - amazing atmosphere. After being seated, we were quickly met by our waitress and she took our drink and food order. I will say that being on the roof after sunset is a perfect meal. They project old movies on a building next to the restaurant - very unique. Our G&Ts tasted great with a local tonic. Our meals were fairly quick to come out and tasted great, and the waitress was very nice and helpful with menu explanations. I would like to point out another interesting thing on their menu - you can buy meals for the needy by adding them to your bill. The money is collected and at certain times of the year (Christmas, etc), food is delevered/provided to needy families. I think this is an amazing idea, as you enjoy your delicious food, you know that you can also give back to those less fortunate in the community. Thanks.

We had the slow cooked beef rib and the duck. The food was tasty and price was reasonable for the quality. Duck dish could have been a tiny bit hotter but nice experience overall. The rooftop setting was a great atmosphere. Enjoyed our meal out.

Beautiful roof terrace just past the end of the boulevard. Good option if you're looking for a bit more elegance to your dinner, beyond what a regular Croatian konoba can offer. Dishes on the menu sound creative and exciting and are sourced locally (so is the wine list). We had the bruschetta with sheep cheese and aged ham (pršut), followed by an excellent artichoke risotto and seafood orecchiette. The risotto was our favorite; very fresh, perfectly al dente, and a good balance between olive oil and zesty lemon. The seafood pasta was tasty and contained a nice amount of courgette to balance the saltiness. Very high quality food, living up to the expectations set by the relatively high menu prices. Portions were a bit small though, so I would recommend ordering an additonal main course to share. We had just one glass of white wine, which failed to impress. However, the salted honey whiskey sour I liked a lot. Staff is friendly and more than happy to provide recommendations. The inside of the restaurant looks modern but still cozy, but the roof terrace was even better, with a 1950's black and white movie projected on another building to complement the ambiance.

We didn’t have the chance to sit upstairs as it was already full, but we were seated on the ground floor right away. The food came almost immediately, which was a pleasant surprise, and everything was delicious. The staff were very kind and took the time to explain how our dishes were prepared, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only disappointment was the Pavlova dessert. It wasn’t quite what we expected , traditionally it should come with fresh fruits, especially when they are in season. While it wasn’t bad, we wouldn’t recommend it compared to the rest of the menu.

Stopped in here for lunch. I got an appetizer of focaccia with cheese and prosciutto, and a Jerusalem artichoke/artichoke risotto. Both very good, but the risotto would have been filling enough on its own! I couldn’t finish. Also ordered an Aperol spritz. It was fairly quiet while I was there as I came right when it opened.

DELICIOUS food and absolutely amazing environment! The food and drinks were incredible and the service was excellent. There was even a black and white movie played on the side of the building during dinner! A bit more expensive, but very worth it!

Excellent dishes. Octopus was prepared to a level I’ve never had. Not chewy, slight sweet and nutty. Well balanced dish with chickpeas olives etc. The restaurant is curated to a level consistent and expected from Michelin guide restaurants down to the lighting, live music and 10/10 service. Not stuffy, pushy just a laid back atmosphere that will keep you coming back when you’re in Split. Highly recommended

Just amazing! Highly recommend Zinfandel for an amazing meal and evening out in Split. The food was delicious and they were able to cater to my dietary requirements (including dairy and some seafood) without any issue or compromise on flavour. The wines were all superb and the waiter gave great recommendations and information about everything we tried. There was also live music, which made for a great atmosphere.

I’m from Toronto and I’ve come to Split the last two years in a row and Zinfandel is always a non-negotiable restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is so amazing and hospitable. They remembered me and my friend from the year before and welcomed us with warm greetings. This most recent year, 2025, we went a total of 3 times within a span of 24 hours. They are also amazing with accommodating to gluten-free and dairy-free restrictions. Big thank you to Igor who remembered us from last year. Also thank you to Leon and Marina who served us this year also.

Food was sublime. Every dish we tried was fantastic. Ingredients and combinations work so well. Service was fast and professional. Only cons was that the live music was a bit too loud. Otherwise, the best experience we had in our trip. Will not hesitate to come back if I ever return to Split.

We came across Zinfandel from the Michelin guide. We were very excited to give it a try. We had the lunch deal (two courses for €29). We had - cauliflower mushroom starter (mushrooms were extremely salty) - pesto risotto (there were supposed to be shrimps inside, I got two very very small pieces) - beef burger was actually nice - dessert was supposed to be a chocolate tart, it was very disappointing the only option they advertised wasn’t available for lunch, we had the cannoli, it was a bit too hard. Service was slow, we received a discount as a compensation. Overall, our experience did not match the Michelin recommendation.

This restaurant is a must go. We had the tuna steak and the duck breast. Both plates were sooo good. The Markus white wine to go with it was amazing. It truly deserves it’s Michelin mention.

We ate the muscles with figs, which was for me a bit of a strange combination. The fish and steak afterwards was very good. The service was good. The restaurant was fully booked, but you could still talk, even with the live singer that did a great job. We sat at the window and the garbage collector passed 2 times which gave an unpleasant smell.

We did the chef's choice 3 course menu with wine pairing at Sug, and it was very good. The wine pairing was fabulous, and the service attentive. However, the portions were enormous (and I can eat a lot!). It's was more like two mains than a main and a starter. If I returned, I would just do the normal menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Perfection at a reasonable price. For antipasti, we had a white fish carpaccio wrapped around sweet rice which was delicious. Then we had squid ink risotto and creamy prawn pasta, both of which were divine. Good wine and attentive service as well. Some reviews say that this is a very fancy fine-dining place, but don’t let it put you off - the vibe is definitely nice but it’s also not very formal. You will feel at home as all the waiters are very friendly.

Food is good. The sword fish is the best - very fresh and flavourful. Octopus is fresh. Shrimp pasta isn’t as impressive as what others mentioned. Smoked risotto is average. However, the service is really bad. The waiters are very inattentive and chatting among themselves. We needed to keep waiting for the menu and water at the beginning and when we wanted to order, even when we sat at the middle of the restaurant just facing them.

Went to this place with my wife, as a recommendation from a local, and it was the best decision! We had the duck and the octopus, both were extremely delicious! Shrimp pasta as appetizer was really generous and incredible tasty. Wines are good as well. Don't hesitate about asking for the tiramisu as dessert!

The venison stew was great with tender meat and soft gnocchi, but the grilled octopus dish was a bit mismatched. The octopus itself was very good, but it was served with raw tomatoes, pickled onions, baked/fried potatoes, and a gravy none of which really complemented each other well. Service was great and the space was nice.

We had a table reserved for 8:00 PM, but we arrived an hour and a half earlier — luckily, that wasn’t a problem at all, as the staff kindly found us a spot right away. We happened to come during the restaurant’s Steak Weekend, which offered a special selection of steaks. The food was excellent — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was fast and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We really enjoyed our evening here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and friendly service.

Food was amazing, homey. Feel like dining in grandma's house! We tried the shark in tomato sauce with polenta and marinated blue fish salad. The polenta and the sauce are a perfect pair! Will definitely go to Split again just for a taste of Delistes 🥹🥹

Best authentic Croatian food. We were recommended this by our accommodation manager. We went back 2 days in a row because the food was so delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are quite big so make sure you are hungry when you go as you won't be disappointed. It is cash only and the place is small and cozy. You can't book which means you have to wait for a table but it is definable worth it! Enjoy!

One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Split was here — absolutely amazing! The chef was excellent, the food was fresh and full of flavor, and the staff were super friendly. It’s a small, charming restaurant right in the busy center, and I truly loved it. I definitely recommend this place — 100%!

One of my favourite restaurants in Split. It feels like stepping back in time or eating at your grandma’s house. The food is delicious you can really taste the heart in it. The service was amazing; the lady (I think the owner) even showed us how they eat the fried fish with olive oil and using a piece of bread to scoop all the flavours. The menu is all handwritten, which adds a really authentic touch. Cash only, but there’s an ATM nearby. You absolutely need to try this place if you’re in Split and want traditional flavours.

I thoroughly enjoyed having a home cooked authentic Croatian dinner to end my time in Split! I enjoyed the pastincada, the meatballs with mashed potatoes and red table wine. 10/10 experience! The food tastes like it was made with love. There are only a couple tables inside and it feels like you are in someone's kitchen. Cash Only!

Highlight of the trip! Fried fish with vegetables 5/5 Beef stew with gnocchi 5/5 (star of the show) House salad with cottage cheese 5/5 Everything was fresh and top quality. Also, sitting around the big tables creates that cozy vibe and definitely sparks great discussions with other travellers! Plus, the owner is a super sweet lady who adds to the warmth of the atmosphere!

No frills but hearty and delicious food! Great value. And it's a relief to have healthy options on the road in a country of carby and sugary foodstuff (don't get me wrong - I like such things as much as the next person!). Loved their stuffed peppers, Greek salad and veggies with meat stew.

Beautiful meal and last night at Split. The best steak and ribs dinner in awhile in Croatia! We had the Black Angus Rib eye and pork ribs with truffled potatoes and vegetables (capsicum, zucchini and mushrooms) on the side, and a bottle of the Italian Solco Toscana Syrah (Awarded best Italian red), went very well with the meal, easy to drink and smooth. Highly recommend this establishment. We enjoyed the atmosphere, with the soft live accoustic. Thank you to Ante, our wait staff for recommending the wine and for the service. Ante was quite, knowledgeable and super kind and friendly. A truly memorable evening for our last night in Split. Sad to be leaving.

The service is extremely friendly, and the food is incredibly delicious – you can easily say this is the best steak in town. The prices may not be the lowest, but the taste and quality are at the highest possible level. We recommend it to everyone, and we will definitely come back when we’re in Split again.

Just brilliant! You should try mixed grill plate for two. Everything so tender, great side dishes and the Service and atmosphere is outstanding as well. Big compliment to our waiter Ivan R.! Of course it’s a bit more expressive than other restaurants, but definitely worth it. In other restaurants you pay 30€ for a steak that doesn’t taste well, so better pay 5-10€ more for an amazing one! We‘ll definitely come back :)

A nice steakhouse in central Split. We ordered the chops grill for two (€68), which included chicken, sirloin steak, and veal. However, the price covers only the meat (sauces and sides must be ordered separately). At that price point, I feel at least fries or another side should be included, as paying extra makes it feel a bit expensive for just the meat. Also, I think I had the most expensive bottle of water of my life at Chops (9€ for a bottle of still water!). I rated the service 4 stars because when the platter arrived, no one explained which cut was which, so we had to figure it out ourselves. In my experience dining at steakhouses across Europe, introducing the cuts is standard practice. The meat was good, really juicy and very well cooked. The sauces (we ordered the bernaise and the truffle sauces) were very tasty too. My partner loved the onion rings, they were super crispy!

One of the best places to have dinner in split. The location is perfect, as well as the atmosphere, the staff is polite, but the most important thing is the food which is beyond tasty, especially Steak Wellington.

What a great venue. Such tentative staff and great food. Great relaxed vibe. Expect to pay a little more for the quality of food and service. We took the kids and they didn’t treat us any different. Amazing meats cooked to perfection. Can’t recommend this enough. We booked to ensure a table but they didn’t seem overly busy the whole night.

We loved this restaurant so much. The food was delicious, we shared some sushi rolls such as California roll, spicy tuna and avocado roll. We also shared an amazing peach salad, the peaches were fresh and very sweet. My husband said the oysters were excellent and this was the first place we could find oysters available in split. The best part was our waiter Alex, he taught us more about the palace and its history. He was so kind and welcoming. Amazing experience.

Best sushi in Split and possibly ever!!! Perfectly prepared and best presentation ever witnessed. I've had lots of sushi from okay to what I thought was really good, but this was outstanding (new level to beat)! If you are a sushi lover would definitely go here if you are in city! It was expensive but quality was worth every bite. Unfortunately my pics are a little dark but served on ice and temperature was perfect!

The sushi we had at Adriatic was very tasty. The fish is sourced locally and therefore tastes very fresh. Our waiter Ivo was very kind and professional. Desert options change by day - we had a very nice 'modern' applepie. The terrace is warm and cosy - the perfect date spot.

What a welcome to Split!! Our first nights dinner in split was exceptional! Superb sushi, the tuna belly sashimi was the best and I’ve had a career stint in Japan. Adrian who was on hand for menu and wine tips was really friendly and pointed us to a great wine Highly recommended

The place is very nice, quiet, comfortable. But we were disappointed with the food. We ordered risotto with prawns, pasta and pork steaks. Meat was delicious,but the portion for 29€ is really small, there was no side dishes. Risotto was salty and full of sauce. But the dessert was delicious. We visited the restaurant several years ago and were happy and very satisfied with the food, sizes and prices. This time really big disappointment.

Mazzgoon is a charming restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor patio seating. This is a family run modern European food restaurant. We dined here in the evening on the patio. The weather was perfect. We were enveloped by the dim lighting and the history of the castle walls, a truly magical vibe. We truly enjoyed our dishes. Beautifully presented. The only disappointment was that the mussels were almost too salty to eat. Our waiter kindly explained they don't add salt as they come from the already very salty sea. This made sense. We ate them anyway, with a lot of additional beverages lol

Amazing restaurant to have dinner in Split. It has a rear terrace outside , quiet and aside from the busy street in the center of Split. The food was very tasteful, good quantity and good price for the dishes. The waitress were very nice and giving a great service. I fully recommend to have dinner in this beautiful place in the heart of split !

We were seated right away on the back patio. Food was tasty. Service was pretty good. We ordered something and the server forget but he made it right. Overall positive experience.

Stop walking around tourist restaurants and get a meal here! We tried many of the top places in Split (and Croatia) and nothing beats this place. The service is so gentle and warm. The head chef Ante is a genius. At age 23 he runs an incredible menu. Peter our waiter was amazing with food recommendations and service as very quick. We recommend the local cheese platter and the mussels fettuccine pasta. A big bonus is their quaint outdoor seating for the best private dining experience. Will be back on our next trip to Split. We had a lovely breakfast here on our last morning in Split. Beautiful area to sit outside. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and consisted of eggs, toast, bread, ham, cheese, jam and choice of coffee or juice. We really enjoyed it. Service was fast as there’s just this one breakfast offering.

Try the cuttlefish and broad beans! Never had that combination before and it was phenomenal. I didn’t want to stop eating. The polenta was super crispy and perfect. The octopus salad is also delicious and fresh. The house wine is good and you can get a half litre in a cute narrow bottle. I was slightly reluctant because other restaurants in the area seem to be more popular but the menu convinced me and the outdoor seating in the square is lovely for people watching. The only bad reviews seem to be from Americans… the staff are friendly and great they aren’t your servants;)

I randomly fell onto this place on a walk home and my gosh. Probably one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. It was the pasta seafood vongole and was under the apps part of menu. Homemade, fresh, baby clams and shrimp in a white sauce.. was just incredible. I also had the octopus carpaccio and that was a first for me and it was also excellent.

Great find! Ambience was amazing. The gentleman were very warm and welcoming and offered amazing food and wine suggestions.... couldn't fault the food and service. A must visit on your next trip.

Dining at this restaurant was a highlight of our trip. We were so well looked after by our waiter (I did not get his name, wish I had). I had a great gin and tonic made with the "Old Pilots" gin, highly recommend! For starter I had the shrimp soup which was delicious and then for main our whole party had the Pasticada with Gnocchi and was enjoyed by all. The meat was so soft and tender, the sauce was rich and comforting with a slight tang from maybe vinegar and something slightly floral through it and the gnocchi was perfect, best I've had. Tremendous meal and highly recommend if you are visiting Split!

Very good place for our lunch. We had some deep fried fish with chards and the sword fish salad. Light and tasty. To top it off we followed the recommendation of a very kind waiter for dessert and got an amazing caroube cake. Amazing!! The location is quite central and close to important places. Definitely recommend a stop in this place!

Bajamonti was a pleasant surprise indeed. The food was delicious - we went for the seabass for 2 and the monkfish. My girls had the margerita pizza which they cleaned off quickly. Service was lovely and they even kindly re-seated us outside once the rain had stopped at my request. Nothing seemed to be a bother and our waiter was fantastic. He filleted the fish in style and ensured we were comfortable. The atmosphere in the square was truly lovely and lively, whilst not being too loud serving a pleasant environment to dine in. I would highly recommend a visit here!

The food was great we ordered two pizzas and some burgers. It was delicious, juicy and savory. Joseph (our waiter) is an AMAZING waiter. He was attentive, personable, and funny. He provided amazing service and made the whole dining experience an enjoyable one. Absolutely ask for him when you dine here! Could not recommend enough!!!

We had a wonderful lunch here. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I am a coeliac and I need to eat gluten free, which was clearly indicated on the menu and there were a number of options for me. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The service was impeccable, as was the setting and the ambience. (They even laughed at my husband's jokes 😄). I would certainly recommend you check out this restaurant if you are ever in Split, Croatia. Thank you to the three, wonderful, staff members who served us 😊. The price I selected included a very tasty bottle of wine.

Our first night in Split and we were looking for something simple and easy. These folks absolutely hit it out of the park. The wife had what basically in America would be a calzone, and I had a cheese pizza added prosciutto, and both of them were absolutely fantastic! Homemade pizza crust garlic bread was fantastic as well. Had a couple of drinks and the bill was quite reasonable! Highly highly recommend, oh yeah, the view and setting is spectacular as well.

Very nice restaurant with breathtaking view! Super cool they have tables outside because you can enjoy the view. The lobster was perfect - homemade koculanski makaruni was also super tasty! Fish stew was quite low- lack of taste, lots of bones in fish and lack of spices - honestly the dish quite average. But in general, I recommend this restaurant. Staff was super friendly and polite

The food was perfect. There was live music all the time and it had such a great atmosphere. Our waiter, Božo, was the best, both me and my friend asked for recommendations and he didn't miss. I really liked the burger and the lamb. All desserts tasted amazingly and a very pleasent experience overall.😀

Everything was great..the food was amazing, the drinks were nice, and the service was impeccable. We had "Mrva" as waiter and he made sure multiple times that everything was to our liking. All tourists should pay this place a visit while in Split.

It's a great small fish and seafood eatery with a simple menu with everything really tasty on it. Be prepared to queue up in front of the restaurant if you want to have dinner as it is quite popular. However, the service is quite fast and we got into the place in about 15 minutes even though there were 10 people queuing in front of us. The food isn't just fresh and excellent, the portions are also huge. Don't miss out on this great opportunity!

Forget about all the other names you will hear for authentic restaurants! This is the best seafood restaurant in Split. Family run, small place, 90% locals, fresh seafood and prices are reasonable (CASH ONLY though) … I paid 16€ for small fish plate and a wine

A small restaurant with only 6 tables serving only fried fish, squid and prawns, and sides of fries, salad and bread. And cash only!! It’s not for everyone. I thought it was great, a real find.

Zlatna Ribica in Split is a must-visit for seafood lovers, thanks to its fresh catches and generous portions at great prices. The seafood platter is the star — loaded with prawns, squid, and small fish, perfect for sharing. The atmosphere is casual and authentic, right by the fish market. The only downside is they only accept cash and the long wait times during peak hours.

A very simple restaurant and menu, but delicious fresh tasting food. The server was really kind and lovely too. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. My wife and I ordered a mixed fish/seafood platter (€30) and french fries on the side (€4). Split is incredibly expensive - well the old city and surrounding areas are. This is right in the heart of the old city and offers reasonable price for what you get. We walked in 30 mins before closing and it wasn’t that full.

I don’t think you can get seafood fresher than this. We had the mixed fish for two and a salad and it was great.

Shared the grilled fish platter - which included sardines, prawns, calamari and baby octopus. We had sides of fries and salad and a carafe of white wine Croatian wine is lovely. Service was great, couldn’t fault it!

Good selection of seafood dishes. Has the classics from the area like black cuttlefish risotto and octopus salad. Wine list was good too with options for local Croatian varieties.

Nice mix of meat and seafood options. Finished the sea bass as you can see there was little left. Wasn’t that flavourful but cooked perfectly. Had a mixed board including scampi and tuna pate that was the highlight of the meal. The waiter was happy to create the mix for us.

Amazing place. Another hidden gem in Split. We have brunch offer and we were only customers in another side of restaurant. It was quite extra ordinary experience. Very helpful and nice waiter serve us and food was good. The best thing was privacy and intimacy and nice background music. I will come back everytime to this place, when I am in Split.

We thought Konoba Metajuska should have been a 5/5 rated restaurant! We had the seafood platter for two, the price was reasonable for a touristy area. We especially enjoyed the grilled squid and the mussels. Both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We sat outside and enjoyed soaking in the atmosphere of Friday night Split. Highly recommend!

Everything was fine. But not much more. Peter was very friendly and did his best. But the food was not great. If you pay 50€ for a small fish, you expect it to taste exquisite, exiting or at least great. It was around good. Do not recommend. There are better alternatives.

Had such a fun evening here with a friend. We passed two guys having the most amazing sharing fish platter on our walk home and we fancied that too. So we went along and had the dish for dinner the following night and it was absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful young server, Michael, who was really good fun and attentive and there was a great atmosphere. We ate outside the restaurant, on the side street, which was really cute. Would thoroughly recommend!

The best restaurant we visited during our holiday! The host is extremely friendly and has great knowledge about the food and the wines that pair with it. The mussels and the meat platter were incredible! The potatoes (note: NOT the fries!) were also prepared in a really delicious way. Highly recommended!

This was recommended by a local, and I have to agree with all the previous comments. The service isn't great and the staff tend to be a bit rude, but if you have patience and wait, you'll get some help and a delicious meal. We waited about an hour on a Friday night (and were first told it was impossible to get a table), and we weren't disappointed. Ask for local dishes and eat what they recommend! The creamy fettuccine pasta was our fave.

Great spot, had it recommended on a tour. You MUST book a reservation to get in or get lucky. The zuchinni, shimp gnocci was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. We just ordered a few dishes and Split (pun intended) and with all things here the portions are great sizes. Nice atmosphere and good service, don't forget to tip, they will remind you at the end. Great time we had and an attentive server that gave us some good choices to pick from

Hidden gem in Split! The food is down-to-earth delicious. We tried the pašticada — the meat was incredibly tender, and the gnocchi had that perfect QQ bite, almost like boba in milk tea. We also had grilled monkfish (grdobina pršutom i prilog). The texture of the monkfish was so unique and tasty, it really brightened up our meal. Definitely worth a visit! As for the service — if you’re expecting fine dining, this might not be for you. The staff are quick, focused, and just get the job done. Personally, I think that’s another type of charm of this place.

The restaurant has a rustic vibe and serves authentic food! I absolutely loved the Pašticada with gnocchi, which I believe is one of their signature dishes. It was an amazing experience! They also offer the best house red wine from a fishing island called Vis. The wine has a deep, gorgeous red color and a full body, with no bitterness or dryness in the aftertaste. We were even treated to two complimentary 2 shots of liquid/alcohol, though I'm not sure what it was. It tasted great! I highly recommend making a reservation, as they tend to book up quickly!

2 visits now to this local konoba. Great food, atmosphere, reasonable prices. Mix of locals and tourists. The pašticada, the black rice and especially the monkfish were all excellent! Well worth a visit!

Lovely meal, great atmosphere to the place and only just outside old town. Had the ham and cheese plate for starters, they brought out bread for the meal. Risotto and Pasticada as our mains - both lovely and rich, the seafood in the risotto cooked perfectly and the Pasticada being slow cook beef in a casserole-type sauce. All delicious.

This place is legit. The food is so good. Far better food and better priced compared with tourist traps in the middle of old town. Yes the staff may appear a little gruff at first, but they are professional and will be more than happy to give you their recommendations if you ask.

Stellar view out over the harbour. Incredible food, we had a variety of cold appetizers that ranged from very good to absolutely outstanding, followed by a grilled John dory fish, cut and served table side. Strongly recommended.

We came here for lunch and loved the views of the harbor. The service was excellent and the fine was really good. We plan on coming back for dinner to experience the 6 course meal!

We had a celebration dinner for 16. Everything was great. I was able to stop in a couple of days early and select the wines. We set up the meal family style. Everyone enjoyed the food, wine, service and view. Highly recommend Zrno Soli for a special dinner in Split.

The lunch special feels like a steal. The food is absolutely incredible. The inclusion of water, wine and a coffee is a bonus. Great experience at lunch. Don’t be deterred by bad weather as they ca close the ceiling and if it’s rain / wind or clouds, it’s still a great visit.

Top best restaurant on all our trip for 3 weeks in Europe. Very good in sea food n cooking skill. Great seafood n fishes dishes. Sea bass in salt n risotto in crab sauces cooking w great skill. Restaurant locate in marina w great location, a bit away from city but worth the walk.

What an evening to remember! Not because of the view or food, but because of the experience! The staff made us feel like home and the food and view made it extra special!
