We used RPS for our wedding invites, and they were gorgeous!!! Laine was the BEST coordinator. She was so professional and so good at communicating - very easy to work with. She worked with us to find a design we would love and helped us til the very end. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend this business!!

We visited downtown Ann Arbor for a couple of hours, and this woman-owned business was a welcome reprieve to all the seriousness in our life. I purchased a few things that were way too funny. Loved this place!

Very cute store in Ann Arbor. Lots of really cute things to see, from stationary to kids toys to Michigan themed gifts, snacks, and more. Loved taking a look at what they had to offer and staff was friendly on our first visit BUT the downside is definitely pricing... Very much on the higher side. That was the first thing we noticed when we picked up something to look at - we immediately thought that we were too poor for this store. Not an affordable store and don't see any deals or specials, but great for browsing or getting a special occasion gift for someone.

The BEST place for unique and special gifts! I am a HUGE christmas lover and I left with some of the most special things both for other people and for myself! They have the softest shirts and sweatshirts too. 10,000 stars if I could give them. An Ann Arbor gem!!

I purchased a pen that didn't work, and when I wanted to exchange it I was given the run Around bc I didn't save the receipt. After over 30 minutes with the sales girl communicating with the owner they finally agreed I could exchange it. Unfortunately for Me they didn't have it I stock so I kept my broken pen. This is the second time I had issues with legitimate returns.

Shop that specializes in cool and distinctive home good items. A great gift idea place for those needing unique presents. It felt like a neat little museum where one could actually buy the display. One of the best spots around town to find thoughtful unique gifts at a variety of price points! They have a lot of small cute things and larger more expensive home items. I feel like when you want to get someone a gift who is hard to buy for this is a great place to go to find a little treasure.

Great independent bookstore with a wide selection. We particularly appreciated the bookseller notes/recs throughout the store. Three levels of fun! Unless there was a hidden elevator I didn't spot, not accessible for folks with mobility needs beyond the main floor.

Literati is an amazing little bookstore! The nonfiction nature section on the lower floor was phenomenal in particular. I also had a lot of fun reading the staff recommendations in the fiction section. There were lots and lots of new releases and interesting titles, and the store had a very nice ambiance. They also had some very cute prints, a public typewriter, and a cute little stationary section. I could've spent hours in there!

I've waited for at least 5 years to make it to this bookstore from my hometown in Kansas and finally got the opportunity this month. After hearing about their typewriter in prob 2018, it's been a goal of mine to go there and type on it. This bookstore alone makes me want to move here. Awesome place enriching their community! Of course, I had to buy the Notes from a Public Typewriter book and read all of it the day I bought it - you'll laugh and cry and stare at the wall. Words are so impactful and the project this bookstore started that now has a long life of it's own is truly something special.

Great local bookstore with a well-curated selection of books, as well as lots of other stickers, stationery, and whatnot. I primarily read horror, and even though the horror section in this store is a bit slim overall, they include a variety of good titles and independent authors that I recommend (as opposed to the B&N standard plastering of King across multiple shelves). Moreover, the employee blurbs often highlighted titles which I also highly recommend to friends and others, which gave a big boost in assurance that the staff knows what they're talking about and have good taste.

Literati Bookstore in Ann Arbor is a gem for book lovers. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere to get lost in a good book. The selection is impressive, ranging from bestsellers to hidden literary gems, catering to diverse tastes. This bookstore has three floors and it is dog friendly. By most of the books you will see notes/ reviews by the staff/readers. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about literature, offering helpful recommendations. Also, it is dog friendly!

This is a gem in Ann Arbor! I haven’t found a brick and mortal bookstore as cute as this one. Many books have handwritten introductions about them, and it is fun to look at stationaries the bookstore offers. I highly recommend you to stop by when you are in downtown Ann Arbor.

Literati is such a wonderful, cozy, independent bookstore in Ann Arbor. They have an incredible selection in-store and can help you order something if it isn't in stock. Sam, in particular, was such a huge help with a bulk order that I was tasked with purchasing for U-M. Cannot recommend enough!

I bought a Wolverines long sleeve shirt here with a faded looking logo. I wore it for a day and washed according to the instructions and the faded logo is washing away… i usually only post good reviews but I am not happy with the quality.

Overwhelming university pride- This store has everything UofM related. Hoodies, sweaters, pants for the usual merchandise. Dog harnesses, Christmas ornaments, M rugs and many more for the unusual merchandise. You really need to see it in person to understand how insane it is. If you’re in UofM and haven’t come here yet, you’re missing out.

The best place to purchase Michigan apparel and gifts. Two floors, including a clearance section. Everything from shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, to collectibles. They also do signings every so often with former Michigan players. Their online shop is just as awesome, and their customer service and shipping times are insanely good. I purchased a car sticker that melted near a heater, and they replaced it no questions asked. Their partner store, The Victor's Collection is also right nearby, and carries more high-end Michigan gifts.

I will say that I was disappointed in their lack of selection for men’s clothing but am giving them the benefit of the doubt based on their catalog history and the fact that this place is completely packed with sports memorabilia. Be warned, if you’re going there on game day, it’s going to be packed... but it’s worth the stop just to look at the selection, assuming you’re a Michigan fan. If you’re not, I’m not sure why you’d be there! Hail 〽️

Amazing place to visit with blue and maize on everything. There is a huge selection of Michigan clothing, gear, and souvenirs in this multi-level store. Even if you're just visiting Ann Arbor, I'd recommend going in and checking out what this massive M-Den has to show.

Associates are very kind, always asking if you need assistance finding anything. Very organized store with many options to choose from and very reasonable prices on their apparel. *Do not expect photographs and signed items to have low prices as they are rare

I absolutely love this store. They have everything imaginable that is Michigan Wolverine related. I could easily spend thousands of dollars in this store. If you're looking for anything Michigan Wolverines this would be the place! They are kind of expensive but really no more expensive than anywhere else for official merchandise. The store is large and two stories. The employees are friendly and helpful in locating anything you are looking for. You could easily spend an hour looking at everything. There is street parking available but street parking in Ann Arbor can be challenging. Your best bet is the public parking structure about a block away.

The zipper on my business backpack bit the dust while I was on campus. Thankfully Bivouac has a HUGE selection of high quality backpacks. The staff there were very helpful to me in making my pick. And patient! I was there for a while picking just the right one. And — oops — when the price I got charged was $10 more than the price on the tag, they gladly refunded the overage. Shop local at Bivouac!

The owner, AJ, is fantastic. This is the definition of a true local business that cares about the community they serve; and is well known as an Ann Arbor staple. Not to mention they have a fantastic collection of so many brands that are on trend and high quality. Will be happy to visit and support over the years, and highly recommend!

Every time I visit Bivouac I am always so impressed and thankful for the amazing customer service and friendly staff. Everyone that works here is always so willing to help. Special shout out to Maisie who helped me in my search for a coat today! Although I wasn't able to find what I needed this time, Maisie was super knowledgeable and helpful during my search. She took the time and it meant a lot.

This has become one of my favorite stores in downtown A2. They have tons of deals in the bargain basement and have great end of season sales. The customer service is phenomenal and staff are passionate about the outdoors. Will continue to be a frequent visitor!

My fiancé ordered a sweater for me for Christmas we received it in the mail with a snag near the pocket. I contacted the store and was offered a couple different options and I made my selection and was happy with the outcome. They had great customer service, quick to respond and quick to refund the money. I will definitely buy from them again in the future.

This boutique is the absolute cutest. My go-to for wedding attire, jeans, pieces and whatever Laura says is it. Classy + in the color or neutral realm. A must for an in person experience but she has an online store as well!

Ferne is an absolute godsend for a fashion disaster such as myself. Laura does an excellent job sourcing both age and size inclusive well-priced quality items that are both trending and timeless. Her personal styling sessions are SO fun, Ferne has you covered for every event from lazy Sunday coffee dates to extravagant galas and everything in between.

The employees are wonderful and they carry the cutest clothes! I’ve ordered a lot online from them and it always arrives very quickly!

We loved everything about this adorable place! We sat at the bar and enjoyed happy hour specials. The drinks were great, and the food to die for. The patatas bravas was my favorite, but we seriously loved every bite of the 5-6 items we ordered. We also LOVED our churros y chocolate and the dessert drink (licor 43 + espresso) was such a fab recommendation! Can’t wait to come back!

We sat at the bar for happy hour and loved exploring their full menu. By far our favorite was the grilled octopus. The croquetas and Spanish tortilla were also delightful. The place was busy but the service was speedy. Will definitely come back for one of their paellas!

Aventura has very friendly staff and service, and everyone is very welcoming and attentive! Their tapas and drinks are also good. I highly recommend trying their sangrias. Summertime happy hour is lovely, and I highly recommend trying it out!

Incredible upscale tapas and bar in the heart of Ann Arbor! Just stopped in for happy hour and was extremely impressed at the high level of professionalism, service and skill. The bartender made even classic drinks elevated and the cocktails and wine list were a cut above. Try some of the bites including the dates — could eat a dozen! We will definitely be back!

Love this place. Great assortment of cocktails. I've had better octopus here than I have in Greece to be honest. If it's your first time here with at least one other person, opt for a paella and tapas while you wait! It's loud in the dining room on a busy night so I seek out weeknights.

The food was very good. We ordered several of the tapas, I would have preferred several of them be delivered together. Each was delivered individually. Multiple servers waited on us bringing food and clearing plates. Sangria was very tasty, atmosphere was very good, music might have been a little loud to hold a conversation as I was sitting across the table.

Tapas were super delicious. I didn’t get a chance to picture them all. Paella was good but felt like it was missing something. 5 star service super friendly and helpful. Great place.

My wife and I recently visited Kerrytown Market & Shops last year, and we absolutely loved it. This charming market offers a delightful mix of unique shops, artisanal goods, and fresh produce. What a fun experience!! I love Kerrytown more than downtown! We went to the farmer’s market and walked inside the shops and loved seeing everything! Parking can be found behind the farmer’s market. There is a lot where you can pay by spaces (about $2 per an hour, very affordable). There are bathrooms inside on the top floor and tables and chairs scattered throughout where you can eat lunch that can be purchased downstairs or at the farmer’s market. We bought Pad Thai for $7 from Baan Phad Thai in the farmer’s market and it was delicious!! We also found two amazing houseplants, Roos Rois Coffee, and fresh Apple Cider! Will definitely come back because this farmer’s market and shops are fun to walk through and have unique items!

Sleepy little area without a lot to do or see. A stopped in a few stores which were nice but there really wasn’t much here. There’s a coffee shop with a nice courtyard to sit in and a few restaurants nearby. I did see a chocolate shop and a Korean restaurant which looked interesting but it was early morning so I didn’t stop in. There was construction close by which interrupted walking around the street nearby. Nice area but just enough to do for an hour or so.

Can’t rave enough about how amazing this building is. It’s truly unique, on the first floor are grocery and dining, and the second floor are shops. Even the 3rd floor has offices, I enjoyed a weekend trip to go here..

Absolutely charming Farmers market on Saturday and lovely little shops in the area. Oysters on the half shell bought fresh bread and many vegetables. Olive oil from a gentleman who's family processes the olive oil in Rome. There's too much to put everything on here but all the surrounding shops are absolutely wonderful

They certainly have cute stuff, but it’s a bit smaller than I would’ve thought it to be. By all means, it’s a nice farmers market… but I’ve seen others that are more elaborate. The shops have a very boutique feel, which I love, but they’re expensive. Fun to look around, not as fun to spend money. Take a look and see for yourself!

Cute shops and a great place to walk and browse. We visited the farmers market twice on a Wednesday, but it's pretty small and there isn't much of anything that we'd really get. There are a few shops inside - we checked out the gift stores and the toy store, but noticed everything was priced even higher than what we've seen in other local stores. Still a nice place to check out and walk around.

i always get a giggle out of the staff comments. Plus all of the workers are super sweet and helpful ! Also, means a lot to me as a person who gets a period that they have a cup with free tampons at the counter. Its a small thing but it makes a huge impact on how I view this place :) ♡

This comic book store in Ann Arbor has been on my pull list for ages (blame adulting!), but I finally got to drop by yesterday. Let me tell you, it was like walking into a superhero's origin story - clean, colorful, and bursting with potential. Plus, the staff were awesome, even while wrangling a confused shoplifter. (Hey, nobody said saving the day from evil was easy!) Now, the shoplifter situation was a little...eccentric. This person wasn't exactly Lex Luthor mastermind material, more like a lost minion. But the staff handled it with more grace than I could muster. So yeah, major props to them! In short, this store is a fantastic find for all your geeky needs. I highly recommend checking it out!

Much more of a "trendy" store than a complete comic book store, but they have a very large variety of comics/manga to choose from. The backlog isn't as big as a local place but they aren't exactly lacking! The prices are also a huge draw since most comics they sell will be capped at $4, which is very good for old comics

This place is AMAZING and a must to see in person, UNBELIEVABLE everything they have here! Make sure and see the lower level also.

I love Love LOVE this store! We come down to Ann Arbor once a year from way up north 6 hours away, it's our tradition to stop at Vault of Midnight every time we are down there to get souvenirs for all are friends. We wish they had a Vault of Midnight In Traverse city and or that you can by everything from in store on there online store Like figures and statutes.

I’ve been to this place twice and admire it. They have one of the best comic book collections and board games. I have found every game I’ve seen on the internet. They mark up the price of games by 5-10 dollars I feel but it’s worth it for the experience you have a board game geek. They also have pretty nice collection of die.

Being a fan of anything nerdy absolutely drew me to go inside and check things out. This place is huge and is beautifully displayed. if you are into pop culture board games comic books and everything in between then this is definitely the place worth stopping and checking out. the staff here was very friendly and I was shown the basement which has a huge collection of board games and lots of back issues of comics. There are a ton of gifts here and different collector items of nearly everything you can think of. Definitely a must visit if you take a stroll down Main Street.

Chair Republic: A Sweet Treat Tradition! Chair Republic has become a must-stop for us whenever my father-in-law comes to town, and that's all thanks to their incredible chocolate-covered cherries! He absolutely loves them, and we always make sure to pick up a bag (or two!). While their treats might be a bit on the pricier side, you can definitely taste the quality, and it's important to us to support nice local businesses right here in Michigan. Chair Republic has a lovely selection of chocolates and other goodies, making it a great place to find a special gift or just a little something for yourself (or your father-in-law!). It's a charming shop with delicious offerings.

If you love cherries, you cannot miss Cherry Republic! Chocolate, wine, jams, everything you can think of with cherries is offered in this beautiful shop! Plenty of tastings available and you can always ask to try something if it is not already out there. It’s a little pricey but the options available and the quality are great!

If you love cherries, then you'll love this place! They offer hundreds of cherry-filled products as far as the eye can see and you can even try some of their goods at their tester tables. Additionally, they have a tasting bar, so you can be sure you'll like the product before purchasing it. Their gift boxes are reasonably priced and filled to the brim with goodies. I highly suggest stopping in if you are visiting.

Michigan is famous of cherry. They sell a lot of cherry related food, cherry chocolate, cherry jam, cherry salsa, cherry candy, …,etc. There are a lot of free tasting so you know what is the best for you. It is not cheap but the quality is very good.

They had some really cool things. But they charged extravagant amounts of money for simple things. 12 oz. jar of cherry hot honey is $19.95. A 12 oz. jar of hot honey at Walmart is $4.95. So they added $15.00 to the price just because it had cherry flavoring. I was excited to come here and I could afford anything I wanted from this store but I was so turned off by their prices that I just walked out and bought nothing.

I had a very disappointing experience at Cherry Pot Republic today. I spent over $100 on gift items and asked the staff to pack them into two gift boxes. The lady helping me immediately showed me an attitude, like I was asking for too much. After she finished, she just shoved the boxes at me without a word. When I asked for two bags, she reluctantly gave them to me, and one of the bags turned out to be broken. I politely asked for a replacement, but instead of simply switching it, she rolled her eyes at me again. Overall, I left the store feeling a bit disappointed with the service.

I’d been amped to stop in to this cute little shop, while in-town for business. The store is well-organized with great selection and spacious dressing rooms. The staff member was so friendly, and I was happy to come away with a new addition of cute pants for my closet! Keep up the great work, ladies!!

Have nothing but great things to say about this shop, & the owner, Lindsey! I had been shopping all day for a wedding guest dress with no luck. I started browsing The Getup, when Lindsey came to offer help with my search. She asked for specifics for the event dress code, & pulled a bunch of options I never would’ve thought to grab. I ended up with a gorgeous vintage dress that fits perfectly for an extremely reasonable price, along with a few other items. I also had a chance to speak with Lindsey about her passion for sustainability, & helping folks find homes for unneeded items, even if they aren’t going to her shop. You won't find anywhere else like this downtown! With the new space The Getup Vintage has expanded their selection making it even more fun and worth stopping into. Always reasonably priced and friendly staff imo. We're lucky to have them here!

This was a great vintage place. They had a lot of pieces and the quality was really good (especially for the older pieces). I was surprised by the quality of the 1950s pieces I found. I also liked that they included useful information on the tags (like measurements) and organized the pieces by decade so you can narrow down to your preferences (but of course browse other decades). Ended up getting a really beautiful 1950s dress with trim detailing. Love it.

The Getup Vintage is far and away the BEST vintage store I have ever been to (and I've been to hundreds of them all over the country.) From the goods they offer (which are incredibly well curated and organized) to the incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff, it is hands down a MUST if you're in Ann Arbor looking for vintage clothing. And did I mention their prices? The Getup's prices are accessible and fair (which is not something you'll find in a lot of vintage stores of this caliber.) Truly a gem! Don't miss it!

The Getup is an Ann Arbor staple! Between the fun/colorful atmosphere, friendly staff, and huge the selection of clothing/accessories... it's vintage heaven! Last year I purchased a beautiful 1960s Lacoste tennis dress in mint condition with a matching belt. I've worn this dress EVERYWHERE and have gotten so many compliments. Honestly whether you're a vintage aficionado or just looking to add some unique pieces to your closet, The Getup is a MUST visit!

Just had a really lovely experience here in every way a person could; from the visuals, to the airy grounding shop, to the incredibly kind staff who reminded me to rest and pause and be still, and to their professionalism when handling a transaction with me. I really want it love and support this store but I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences with products breaking shortly after purchase, items not being true to photos. Unfortunately the customer service is lackluster and leaves something to be desired.

I’ve been wanting to visit for some time I was finally able. The shop is really a beautiful work of art and I was so happy to be there. But the staff was cold and short with me. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. My card was snatched out of my hand and I did my best to remain positive laughing most of it off. But I’ve thought about the experience a couple times since leaving... feeling mistreated. I only wish it would’ve been better.

I’ve been going to this store whenever I visit home from Portland since 2010-2014 when I was living there as an undergrad at umich. They have a lovely collection and the selection has broadened over the years to include a lot more modern stuff, which I appreciate! Fills what is otherwise a lack in Ann Arbor’s shopping scene. The same staff person ( not the owner) has worked there nearly since I started going. They have always been pretty friendly but today it felt unwelcoming and strange. I asked if a brand was local because I was curious about their sourcing and the price seemed so reasonable, and they just changed their voice and said in a fake English accent “no it’s not” but added nothing else. The accent isn’t the issue obviously but it was odd- I had to ask more about it and their voice got quiet and they almost whispered as they only said “it’s a supplier we really like in Korea”. I bought the item but not generally super into this kind of sourcing without more transparency. They do have lots of smaller independent brands, too, but just the way they navigated this just didn’t sit with me well. They also said “happy birthday” in a clearly sarcastic voice after the family member who was with me said it to me. Very uncomfortable. I will consider shopping in the future but the service is strange and I did not feel relaxed or welcomed.

Love this shop! A2 doesn’t have a lot of options for women’s clothing, but this place is wonderful. The clothes are unique and unfussy. The store is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff has always been nothing but kind to my friends and I. Their instagram material is wonderful as well.

Such unique, curated and cool items! The staff is also very helpful and genuinely interested in the items they sell. I asked about what incense they were burning in their store and the person at the counter was very happy to share and give me tips and tricks on how to use it! I've burned it in my house every day since!

Thistle & Bess is the best! I've been shopping here for years now, they always have cute things and the jewelry selection is gorgeous. Really unique pieces, you can tell the curation of the shop is full of intention. I got my engagement ring and wedding band from here as well and I always get so many compliments. Really looking forward to their holiday selection this year as well. Thanks for everything!

I love to stop by this shop everytime I'm in Ann Arbor. They have a great selection of jewelry, cards, candles and gifts. Everyone there is very friendly, the shop dog is SO cute too. For the holiday's they did a Wes Anderson window display which was very cool. I really like that they make the effort to partner and buy from other small businesses in the area.

The best curated gift shop in Ann Arbor. Beautiful fine jewelry. Gorgeous home furnishings. Vintage gifts, too. It's the perfect place to shop for Mother's Day, birthdays, Christmas and everything in between. Some of our favorite items have been candles, an organic cotton throw blanket and a locally dyed scarf. All one of a kind and precious. They also have a wonderful online shop! What more could you ask for!??!?

Not only does the store have beautiful jewelry and other items, but their customer service is beyond comparable. Diana always goes out of her way to make sure that I am well taken care of, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Unfortunately one of my favorite rings that I purchased from here had a stone that fell out, and when I took it to Diana she told me that she would fly it to the jewelry designer herself to have it repaired. The super sweet and helpful owner has cultivated an amazing variety of home and lifestyle products, as well as a beautiful selection of jewelry- that are all updated regularly. Those dresses u cen get any where and for one yard of fabric they wanted over $100.2 other costumers pointed out the same thing. In fact I have several articles of clothing from their line only I did not get them there nor for those prices much cheaper online same pattern material cut everything. How ever their staff really came through and saved their ⭐ rating or it would be 2 less. The hours are short but the staff was very pleasant and very helpful and I loved how they kindly showed me to a dressing room instead of saying hey we are about to close.nice cuth ladies well done. Let me just preface this by saying DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. I came in to purchase a dress for a formal. They said I would be able to come back and return the dress if needed as long as I had a receipt, however they did not put a receipt in my bag. Then when I came back to return the dress I was blamed for their mistakes and told I could only return the item for a gift card. Additionally the worker was extremely hostile and did not know how to work her own cash register and had to call for help multiple times. After issuing the gift card they told me that I would not be able to use the gift card because “their machine was down,” essentially stealing $65 from me. Despite saying that they would reach out to me about the issue they never did and I had to call multiple times to resolve this issue. On the phone the worker called me rude (I don’t know how trying to get a refund is considered “rude”) and was extremely unhelpful. Finally they agreed to exchange the gift card for a different item (after 2 phone calls and 4 in store visits, I don’t know why they couldn’t have done this in the first place) This fiasco wasted me hours of time. Do yourself a favor and order a dress from somewhere else or head to a mall or basically anything but go to this store. If you must purchase something avoid interaction with Mary. She is completely clueless and obviously was not trained properly. edit: The store owner called me a day after to guilt trip me, offer various excuses, and when that didn’t work blatantly told me to the take review down and tried to bribe me. Unfortunately I will not be bribed.

Verbena provides a fun atmosphere and their clothing is stylish. I was very happy with their welcoming customer service. They were quick to meet my needs. Stay updated through their Facebook and Instagram pages. I will definitely be returning to shop there!

If you’re either a POC or a shopper who cares about a reward system don’t go here. I’ve shopped here a few times and won’t be returning. The associate who helped me assumed I wouldn’t be returning or had never been there I guess. Whether that be because I am black or she was just slacking on her job I didn’t appreciate it. She rung my clothes up and just gave me a total so I was confused. In my head I’m thinking does she just expect me to not have an account here or not want me to have an account? Does she not want me to be a regular customer? and of course my mind goes to is it because I’m black? I just didn’t feel welcome. She was so happy to ask and assist everyone else in the store, who were white. So I had to ask her to put my name in for my points. At this point I just wanted to be anywhere but there so I paid for my shirt and left. Very disappointing service.

I wanted to shop local and bought my suit here off the rack for my wedding. Working with Bill was an excellent experience! He was very knowledgeable and provided helpful guidance not only with the suit, but with the shirt and tie stylings as well. I felt very comfortable knowing I was purchasing a high quality product that would be a great investment. The alterations were very quick (it took about a week), and the suit fit perfectly. I received so many compliments about my look on the big day - thank you Bill!

At 53 years old I've decided to be a bit more sophisticated. As a mechanical contractor I normally dress like a typical slob, even when I dress up! I did not want a cheap suit. I went to renaissance and was so impressed with the quality and knowledge of Mr. Size. He fitted me in an amazing Italian suit. I look like Zack effron in it if I may say. (only way older and balder ). Anyway high quality great work fair price. Highly recommended, I will have all of my suits made here.

I've been buying mens clothes from these guys for 25 years. Outstanding selection, service and quality. One of the best high end mens stores around.

Looked like quality merchandise at a significant price, but I was in the store for 15 min while the sales person chatted with another customer who was on their way out of the store. Apparently they were not interested in making another sale.

We were wanting pizza and pasta and were happy to find this restaurant. We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate our party of 6 very quickly. Our server was great! He kept our drinks refilled and brought our food out to us as it was made. My kids ordered a kids spaghetti and did like it, but complained towards the end it was spicy. We ordered three pizzas: the pepperoni, the supreme, and the ham and mushroom. All were very good! I also ordered the vodka rigatoni pasta. It was good, but not as much as I was expecting. Everyone ate everything and there were no left overs. It was a bit pricey, but I expected that for Ann Arbor.

Pricey but pretty good overall. Starters were good: focaccia, chop salad with salami, and pickled tomatoes (bruschetta). Red onion pistachio pizza was a must try. Peach pizza was decent but not as flavorful. Desserts varied - affogato and budino were very good. Tiramisu was a bit dry. Service was good overall. Decent draft beer selection.

Mani Osteria & Bar offers a lively yet cozy atmosphere with a modern touch, perfect for enjoying a night out with friends or family. The pizzas are the highlight – I tasted the arugula + prosciutto- truly outstanding, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. Drinks are well-crafted, and the staff is attentive and friendly, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Don’t miss to order the fried polenta with wild mushroom topping!!! One of the best Italian spots in Ann Arbor, highly recommended!

We tried to stop in Friday night for dinner but it was a long wait so we tried our luck again on Saturday, and there was no wait and we were seated right by the kitchen! The experience of watching them cook and interacting with the chefs was amazing. The pizza was DELICIOUS and when we told them we were celebrating our anniversary they surprised us with champagne and dessert on the house. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Ann Arbor!

The pizza crust? Absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly baked. But that’s where the magic ended. Our server was friendly but scarce, so no drink refills for us. The Italian vibes were charming, but the menu played a bit of a guessing game. If you don’t fluently speak “chef Italian,” beware: your pizza might arrive covered in garlic and onions you didn’t expect. Not bad, just not the kind of surprise we were hoping for. It was ok. Definitely not heading back anytime soon.

Great place, nice lighting and atmosphere. The service was great. The Tartufo pizza was out of this world! We did add pepperoni to it also. In addition, we had the Quattro Formaggi pizza plus sausage, which was also pretty good. Highly recommend and will return.

I’ve looked forward to visiting mani for many years now. What better day than my birthday. We arrived and got seated in front of the chefs. What a delight! It was fun not super loud but fun to see the pizzas made in front of you. Our food was fast and delicious. The pizza is something I would come back for but the pasta was slightly overcooked. I prefer it that way honestly but my partner did not. We also had the meatballs and the sauce was great! But underwhelming meatball. Thank you mani for a great night. Sangria is a must

A mix of the usual mall stores that you would expect and mom and pop stores I hadn't heard of before. I was quite surprised to see an Apple store and Coach here, the Apple store is smaller than normal but was full of people. A little disappointing that there's really no food court, but there are some nicer restaurants along the outside edge of the mall such as P.F. Changs and California Pizza Kitchen. The mall is a single floor and easy to navigate. There were a few empty storefronts on my visit and 1 anchor store vacant.

I went to order a cookie cake at Mrs. Fields for my granddaughter for her birthday. I ordered a large one. Explained to the first lady what I wanted on the front and then I went back to pick it up and the decorations were very small and could hardly read the writing on it. I was dissapointed with that and writing that was on there "London" was there and she said she could take off the ones that were on there and make the writing bigger so you could read it So I went back in about a half hour and she did a wonderful job of making the writing so you could read what I wanted it to say. So thank you so much for redoing it over and I was very pleased with her decorating work and what she had done to make it look a lot better!! She did a wonderful job and I could actually read it!!t

Very cool shopping mall, a variety of stores and very clean. The mall staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the shops and surrounding area.

This place is so depressing not like back in the days when there were plenty stores and activities going on. I went into a couple stores in search for a dress for a wedding. It still have some decent stores but not many. A couple stores even closed at 5pm.

I’ve only visited Briarwood Mall once in my life, but the experience left a lasting impression. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff across various stores. We found great deals and purchased several items, but what made it truly memorable was how much my children enjoyed the play center in the heart of the mall. It gave them a chance to laugh and unwind while we took a break from shopping. It’s rare to find a mall that offers such a family-friendly vibe. We’ll cherish those memories for years to come!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at PF Chang this evening. Our server, Corey, was polite, friendly and assisted us with our orders. We recommend this restaurant.

Moved to Michigan from Illinois. Malls do not exist anymore in Chicago and the surrounding areas. So, it's incredibly awesome to be around a thriving mall. Nearly every storefront is open and the mall is very clean. I especially enjoy that the mall opens early to allow people to utilize it for walking in colder months. The only thing missing is a food court. Though, you can find Chipotle, P.F Changs, Panda Express and California pizza kitchen on the premises, as well as a handful of tea and sweets stands. I'm happy to have a thriving mall around. I hope it doesn't go the way of most malls and slowly die. 10/10 would recommend

This is another quintessentially Ann Arbor experience. A gorgeous arcade stuffed with great shops. Van Boven on the State Street end is truly one of my favourite menswear shops in the world with talented curation, exceptional quality and classic style. The arcade also features an old-fashioned tobacconist, gift shops, a barber shop and a florist. Marvellous.

Very neat building. Not much here other than some local shops. Worth a quick stop to take in the building and grab a cup of coffee.

My favorite place in town, so comfortable and chill to hang out with a friend there- . It got coffee, got chocolate store, got store that sells combs~ fantastic!

These are the best Macaron’s I’ve ever had. The place is beautiful inside, it almost doesn’t feel real. And they have so many flavors! For fall, they had the pumpkin crème brûlée and my boyfriend really enjoyed it. I can’t believe how tasty they are, and perfectly textured. This is dangerous as I work closeby! I will be back!

The cutest little macaron shop! The decor is so light and fun. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have drinks and 20+ different flavors of macarons. Though $2.50/each is pricey for a small dessert, it is a more elegant treat, which makes a great gift or special treat to have with a cup of coffee. The flavors and textures of the macarons are incredible and of the best I’ve tried. Can’t wait to come back to try some more flavors!

This is the cutest little shop and everything we tried here from the macaroons (😍🤤) to the French sodas is delicious! I can be picky about macaroons, but I would argue that the ones at Le Bon are some of the best I’ve ever had! Every time we have come, we have had a wonderful time and the service has been impeccable. Cannot recommend them enough! ❤️

Absolutely LOVE this place! We stop in every time we come back to town, and I had a friend even order them shipped to me in Arizona while I was pregnant...they came beautifully packaged and tasted as amazing as they do in the stores. One of my Ann Arbor favorites, always our first stop when we come back ❤️

They said their macrons always crumble and dry. I try to explain this not fresh or something happened during production. They didn’t even try to offer something else. You can see all crumble pieces inside the box.

The blueberry lemon macaron was perfect flavor wise, but unfortunately out of the $30 pack of 12 it was the only one to stand out. I love macarons and had been debating on trying Le Bon Macaron but always sought elsewhere due to the pricing. Yesterday I decided to treat myself and a friend, unfortunately every single macaron was baked at too low of a temperature and the tops were hallow and crumbly. I understand that macarons can be fickle and difficult to bake but for the price I would think it would be a given that they are baked correctly. A lot of the macorons in the variety I got lacked flavor. The strawberry margarita and salted chocolate tasted of pure salt. The cafe is cute but I’m disappointed with what I got and will unfortunately not be coming back.

Le Bon is a local treasure!!! They have the most amazing macarons, friendly staff, and the cutest Parisian style cafes. I’ve also had their lattes and teas, and you really can’t go wrong with anything you order! Another nice touch is fresh flowers always on the tables. 10/10!

After all the raving reviews I was pumped to place an order with UP. I sent them one black and white image to print on the back of a dark sweatshirt, centered and even. Unfortunately the placement was pretty crooked (by almost an inch). I contacted their customer service and they were quick to respond. They didn’t address the uneven printing but offered me a discount for the quality or a refund.The shipping was faster than anticipated so that was great. But I would've gladly sacrificed a longer ship time had it meant my order would've been right the first time.

Absolutely excellent customer service. When I placed my first order, the UGP representative (Evan, who is awesome) very patiently sat down with me and walked me through all the variables involved in shirt printing - a sort of "T-shirt 101". I have placed numerous large orders with UGP since then and have never had cause to complain about customer service, product quality, and timeliness of delivery. A+ to everyone involved.

Great brand with quality leather goods and watches. But the real gem in this location is the coffee shop in the lower level. Dimly lit and intimate setting. Very unique atmosphere and shockingly good pricing. Lower than most coffee shops I've been to. Highly recommend stopping in.

While I haven't purchased any of the lovely goods on the main floor (which are gorgeous), I have visited the super hip coffee shop on the lower level. You can't go wrong with the awesome vibe created by the low lighting, exposed brick and rock walls, and tunes being spun on the turntable (rap my first visit, jazz my second) combined with the most delicious Chai latte I've ever tasted. They even have wifi so you can be productive while at the same time feeling oh so cool. My only complaint is there is no food and I'm hungry!

Great place. It's like a cozy cave to work in, least disturbance, warm ambience, and great coffees. Tried the classic cappuccino and the lyche jasmine tea. both were pretty at par with the expectations.

The Cafe downstairs is very atmospheric, but get there early or after the morning rush if you want a seat. The Chai latte was very good as well, nice sweet and frothy.

Nice selection of products, but be prepared with your wallet as the prices are not exactly inexpensive. The notebooks are very lovely and in addition to being able to select different sizes and colours, you can also choose based on what kind of paper you prefer (ruled, grid, blank, etc.) Bonus: the notebook embossing is free with purchase, and comes in three different colours (gold, silver, and rose gold, I believe).

Best clothing store. Always a unique selection of brands and styles. Staff are fantastic, patients, and always helpful to find clothes that match your fashion sense. Eric never misses with his selection of pieces when you are searching for a specific piece of clothing.

To my mind, one of the very best men’s clothing stores in America. The personality, warmth and knowledge of the staff is remarkable and consistent. The brand selection is superior, and you could argue it’s amongst the global elite. That a shop like this exists in Ann Arbor might be surprising, but quality knows nothing of geography. I’m lucky to have experienced the growth and evolution of Today Clothing from its earliest days, but the same great core elements have always existed there. The passion and care are just as present now as they were the day the doors opened.

The kindest, most big-hearted staff ever. Plus beautifully made, quality clothing you'll have for a lifetime. It's a men's-focused shop yes, but I've bought gorgeous sweaters, sweatshirts, and sunglasses here that you can't find damned near anywhere else unless you're in Japan a lot for some extremely cool reason. I love to stop in to see what's new...but also because I just want to be friends with Eric and Amos. Hope this isn't creepy.

Today Clothing is the best store in Ann Arbor! They really make it worth it to shop in person rather than online because they are SO helpful. The people that work there are truly fantastic, and their store is beautiful along with everything they carry.

Quaint shop filled with handmade goods sourced via suppliers and artisans associated with the Fair Trade Federation. Great selection, store is organized and staff and volunteers are friendly. Prices are actually very reasonable given that you’re not shopping mass-produced goods, AND you can feel good about not contributing to capitalist entities. Shop can be easy to miss located next to bigger name brands (Shinola is next door, for example), but it’s squeezed in there on the east side of Main near Shalimar. Pop in and check it out!

Every year I do my Christmas shopping at local craft fairs or at a fair trade event. Since moving to Ann Arbor I am not restricted to buying fair trade on one day of the year but can support businesses around the world any day of the year. I was very impressed at the range of prices in the items available. And there were both predictable items as well as extraordinary/unique pieces. Whoever arranges the space has a keen eye for color and flow. The jewellery section is a perfect rainbow slowly seeping from one color to the next. There are clothes, instruments, food, chocolate, decor, etc to name a few. The staff are very helpful if you aren't quite sure where to begin. A wonderful place to go to make an impact on entrepreneurs around the world.

I left Ann Arbor about seven years ago. I was visiting this week. I was shocked when I went to my local Ten Thousand Villages outside of Philadelphia, and I didn't see anything I wanted to buy. The Ann Arbor store is so well-stocked. It's colorful. The variety of items is just astounding. I need a few $10 gifts for a Christmas party, and I found some unique food items. However, the store was stocked with many things I wanted to put under my Christmas tree from me to me :). I'm so sad my local store isn't this diverse. Beyond the selection, the staff was courteous and very helpful!

This is a really cute shop in Ann Arbor, filled with handmade goods from villages around the world. They have really good prices on some unique and cute stuff! The mission of the shop is to provide aid and spread awareness for the issues faced by these small villages.

An interesting array of items from around the world. Their thing is fair trade. They have some nice scarves from Egypt, India, and elsewhere. The cotton or viscose scarves are quite affordable. The silk scarves cost more, but are reasonable for silk. They have a section of games, including fancy chess sets and travel chess sets (made from wood), which are attractive. There is jewelry, too, but I didnt look closely at it. Since the theme is fair trade, the selection throughout is eclectic.

Through a google search I found a really nice wooden frame and reached out to 16 Hands to see if they could help me determine whether my piece would fit into the frame. The owner responded really quickly and was super helpful. She even included some cardboard in with the frame for me to use to make it fit just right. The piece also shipped quickly. Fabulous experience!

A fun and unique shop! I saw these pieces of art and loved them but wasn’t ready to buy them. The worker was very helpful and wrote all the info down so I could order them later. I called 2 months later and he again was very helpful and I got them shipped to my house. Love them!

Stumbled upon this store after a visit to the open air holiday market. Lots of unique and original items and great gift ideas. We feel lucky to have found this felt cat house sourced from Nepal. Ww were to excited for Bowie to wait for Christmas morning. The staff was friendly. Many patrons wearing masks as it was a cramped store with all of the product and holiday shoppers.

Wandered in this shop with my brothers today while doing Minerva's escape (check out decode Detroit). The staff here warmly welcomed us and helped us pick out some cool prints to take home. The art, jewelry and items here are all super cool andwand priced. They even gift wrapped some gifts we bought for family and friends. If you're looking for a cool place to look for art, jewelry, and other beautiful hand crafted goods this is a wonderful place to ship.

We went to Leyla’s for wedding invitations and Leyla and the store ended up being an incredible resource and help with the wedding. The invitations were beautiful and she also got us gorgeous placecards (with names!) for two events, and personalized gifts. Incredibly responsive and always exceeded expectations.

The Write Touch by Leyla is the perfect place to go for amazing gifts for others, or yourself! The owner is warm and welcoming and so knowledgeable. Off the beaten path from downtown Ann Arbor which only serves to add to the appeal and coziness .

This is easily one of the best jewelry stores I've been to, and I just happened in by chance. The selection is obviously curated with a lot of thought (and travel, I'd imagine), and after my initial purchase I couldn't get a second matching item out of my mind so called and had it shipped - it came with a very thoughtful handwritten card from the owner and beautifully gift wrapped. Highly recommend.

Visited this neat shop (on a whim) in celebration of my birthday and wife's permission to get myself something interesting. This proved a great old store with exactly the extraordinary collection of things we were hoping to find today, and lucky to stumble into. I ended up with a barn owl wooden puzzle display piece befitting of my particular style and search for quality (and yes, I found the mouse)! My wife celebrated too, in finding herself a unique nesting doll in her color and personality. We also found posh soaps and had a friendly chat with the clerk about the area and this wonderful place. Whimsy fulfilled, fond memory collected. Highly recommend for both the local resident and the next out of town rambler.

Only worth it if you have money to splurge on a gift for someone else - and what they have you can easily find elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Would I buy anything from them again? Nope - mainly because their wares are just too expensive. Basically, you're paying for the name or the fact it's a "handcrafted" item. Pro-tip: they won't tell you you'll be paying extra to use a credit card until the transaction. Be warned.

I have been a very happy and satisfied customer of the Caravan Shop for about 10 years. I have mostly bought jewelry but have purchased other items as well. Every piece in the shop is obviously chosen with care; the proprietor has impeccable taste. The prices are fair, especially in light the artistry in each piece. The staff is knowledgeable and makes very helpful suggestions (almost all of my purchases are for gifts). And they seem genuinely grateful for each sale. They have never, once, applied any pressure to make a sale. Every purchase is beautifully giftwrapped. I often procrastinate before shopping for gifts in part because I am confident I will find just what I am looking for at the Caravan Shop, just in the nick of time.

I love this shop. They have unique items-- jewelry as well as various curiosities and intriguing oddities. Sometimes I come in just to wander as if I were at a museum. I bought my favorite pair of earrings here. The family running the store are both kind and knowledgeable.

This is such a unique shop! I must warn you this is not a shop you want to run in and out of. There is so much to see of quality and unusual items. From jewerly, pottery cards, and nutcrackers just to name a few items. Everyone is so kind and helpful. One of my must go to shops when I'm in Ann Arbor!

Recently went holiday shopping with my mom. I love the v2v in petoskey and hoped this would be a similar store. However, the employees were not helpful. They were sitting and chatting and when we asked for help, it seemed like we were an inconvenience. I love supporting local stores, but this was not a good experience.

This boutique has a nice selection of unique fashion, including brands like Free People, etc. Unfortunately, the sales associates I encountered on my last visit ruined the experience for me. I came in on a Sunday, and the store was not busy at all. I was not greeted, and no one asked if I was looking for anything, needed help, etc. One employee was seated on top of the sales counter reading a book during my entire shopping trip. Another employee was eating a sandwich on the sales counter. When another customer approached and asked for help finding a dress, the associates told the customer they didn’t have anything in store and couldn’t suggest any other places to try. This is great little store, and I have purchased cute items here before, but I wish the managers would devote more time to training their employees. Lots of missed opportunities!

So nice to have a store right in Ann Arbor where I can buy all the brands I would get at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s! MUCH better than having to buy online and return because they don’t fit. Zimmerman Delicatessen offers delicious dishes made with local Michigan ingredients. The Reuben sandwich features fresh-tasting meat that pairs perfectly with the cabbage. Just a heads-up—the regular size is quite large, so I’d recommend sharing it with a companion. The coleslaw gets sweeter the more you chew, bringing out the natural sweetness of the cabbage, making it really enjoyable. The tuna pasta is also served cold and tastes great!

Zingerman's: Worth its Weight in Gold... and Corned Beef. Forget popping in for a quick bite. A trip to Zingerman's is a pilgrimage to the high temple of sandwiches in Ann Arbor. First, you brave The Line, a local landmark in itself. Then you face The Menu, a tome so vast it could have its own index. But fear not, for flavor shamans (masquerading as staff) will guide you through the chaos with life-altering samples of cheese and meat. The reward for this quest is a sandwich of architectural magnificence. Take the #2 Reuben: it’s a masterpiece. The rye bread from their Bakehouse forms the walls of a flavor cathedral, holding a geological heap of the most tender corned beef known to man. The sauerkraut cuts the richness with a witty tang, all held together by melted Swiss and a Russian dressing you'd happily eat with a spoon. You don't simply eat it; you have to unhinge your jaw like a python and surrender to a symphony of salt, fat, and acid. Then comes the bill, which will cause a brief but intense moment of financial introspection. But here's the secret: you’re not just buying lunch. You're buying a story, an experience, and proof that using the absolute best of everything creates something magical. Your wallet may weep, but your taste buds will sing hosannas. It’s an institution for a reason. Go.

Absolutely 💯 the best deli in the nation. Missing it so much, I ordered pasaeno and sourdough loaves with jumbleberry coffee cake in the mail. Love going to Ann Arbor and won't miss a time to go back there. I had the Reuben, it was so good!

I finally tried this local institution and it wasn't worth the expense or hassle. I came an hour before closing and the place was deserted, which is preferable. Normally the line circles the block. The deli staff were quick to acknowledge me and the cheesemonger was quick and generous with a sample and offered more, but one was enough for me. I was directed to a kiosk and ordered a pastrami reuben, a side of garlic potato salad, a side of BonTon chicken pasta salad, one of each type of pickle and a piece of cake. The order totaled $46. The reuben was stone cold in the middle, the cheese wasn't melted. The garlic potato salad was under salted and tasteless. Adding salt helped but it needed to be added to the potatoes during cooking to properly season the dish. The BonTon chicken pasta salad had very little chicken but was well seasoned was the best part of the meal. The buttermilk cake was inedible. The cake was dry, flavorless, dry and crumbly. The berry flavored buttercream tasted artificial, and the buttercream around the rest of the cake was very thick in excess of one inch at the top. The final insult, was I paid for two pickles and received neither. A sandwich is more than the sum of it's parts; the assembly nearly as important and in this case, for nearly $24 it should have been perfect. It wasn't even close. For nearly $50 everything should have been on point and it just failed to meet the mark. Go once to say you've been there but otherwise give it a miss; there's better deli out there.

Great deli and sandwiches but pretty pricey. All the meats, beads, and cheeses are always excellent. Staff is polite and helpful. Place is clean and well maintained. You can dine in, eat on thr patio, or order deli items to go (retail).

Preety good deli except for the big overbusiness of such a small place. I couldnt even get in because of the crowds around the door, and dont even get me started on the 20 minute line just to order. Then there is yet another 20 minute wait before you accually get your food. Its all self serve, you have to order at a desk, and pick up your food yourself- the lady forgot my sandwich in a corner for 15 minutes... The seating is all outside, and is very limited. You have to eat at tables right next to a parking, and all the tables are occupied so you have to sit with random people... Although the food options are very limited - only like, 5 types of sandwiches, and nothing other than sandwiches and salads. The food is preety decent though, so thats why I bumped up my review to a 4 stars. Also because I have had great experiences with other zingermans locations ( roadhouse, farm, creamery, cooking classes, bakery, etc). Overall, if you love sandwiches with outdoor seating, and a cozy summer vibe, this place is for you.

I don’t expect university has such large collections of arts. It is free but parking is tricky since it is on the campus. It is definitely worth your time.

Fun and free! I took an afternoon to visit all the UofM museums and this one was a pleasant surprise. Pretty big building with a wide range of art to enjoy. Worth a visit if you need a fun activity for the day.

We were greeted by a warm welcome at the front desk. Signed in, and found our way to the stairs. No charge for entry makes this worth whatever you might end up paying for parking. You can avoid that all together if you attend after 6pm.

I was expecting to have to pay to enjoy the museum, but to my surprise, entry is free even for people with no affiliation to UMich, though there are options to purchase a museum membership. I think you get benefits like a few treats at the museum cafe as well as the joy of knowing you're helping to keep art publicly accessible if you choose to participate. I parked at a parking garage nearby and walked to get to the museum, and I enjoyed the collections quite a bit. Their current collection includes works by Carmen Herrera and Leon Polk Smith. Overall, the museum was clean, the staff were friendly, and the art was beautiful.

Excellent art museum that also has a cafe with the kindest employees! Got a heated chocolate muffin which gave me more fuel to check out the art :)

The University of Michigan Museum of Art is a beautiful museum with a wide range of art. It was free to visit the time I went not sure if it’s like that always. The museum offers a welcoming space to explore both classic and modern art.

We visited this restaurant for Mother’s Day 2025 and had a lovely time overall. The evening started strong with a fantastic appetizer—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The drinks were also a hit: creative, well-balanced, and genuinely enjoyable. As for the mains, there was a bit of a mixed bag. The tortellini was just okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable either. The burger was decent, nothing extraordinary, but the surprise standout was the French fries—they were crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. A nice spot for a special occasion, especially if you’re there for the ambiance and starters. The price is right and decent.

We came here for our wedding anniversary dinner. Made a reservation through their website. There were confusion on seating at the hostess stand on previous guests and we were standing there waiting for a few moments, but the hostess did apologize and we were seated near a window. Would have loved it but those tables were too close to the ones behind us to the point I could hear their conversation. I did put it was our wedding anniversary in the reservation and no acknowledgment by anyone or ask what’s the occasion. Our waiter Matt A was a saving grace. His service and overall spirit was very welcoming. We tried their version of an old fashion (7.4 out of 10), crab dip (7.7 but we were hungry), shrimp tempura roll (4.6….tasted like sushi from Kroger), sea scallops (7.3) and seafood tortellini (8.6). Overall, I’d come back but would probably only order the coconut shrimp (as it arrived at other tables it looked amazing) and the tortellini. We went to a nearby restaurant for dessert.

Great experience. Great food. Great drinks. Newly renovated to accommodate more seating and a bigger bar area. The Honey Miso Steak Tips were incredible, as was the Seafood Penne. Black Orchid Cocktail to pair was a great choice as well.

Perhaps I made the wrong menu choice. I ordered the sushi. It was just okay. I've had better sushi from Kroger. However the drinks were great. The server Madison was attentive and accommodating. Favored ice tea was not on the menu. However, she created a delicious peach tea that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Ambience, service and location are great. The street seating was also good. Went on a Thursday night and there was live music. Felt like a upscale restaurant where people come for date nights ? The food was so so. Got the cut of the week. Cooked correctly but the meat quality was mediocre at best. Reminded me of outback.

My husband and I went on a date night for my birthday. I started off with a mocktail and he with a cocktail which were both good. For an appetizer we had the crab dip which was delicious. For the main dish my husband had the fish tacos which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the scallops, which unfortunately were not great-the scallops themselves didn’t have much flavor and the orzo was lumped together and under cooked. For dessert (free for my birthday) we had the crispy coconut mochi tart, which I would eat many times over again. Non-food related, the single stall bathroom was out of toilet paper. I would give it another chance and just not order the scallops again.

I would live in this ice cream store if I could. Every single time. The ice cream never misses. Each flavor is rich and tastes so fresh. It’s almost like they use real ingredients instead of food flavorings (which they do)! Seriously some of the most epic ice cream. The line usually moves super fast and you even get to try as many flavors as you want. The flights are awesome because you get a scoop of 4 different flavors for $11. The chocolate-dipped waffle cones are also next level and you can get up to 3 scoops in it. My fav flavors are: mint chip, lavender honey, basil, Madagascar vanilla, mango sorbet, cookie butter, and peanut butter fluff. But seriously just go for yourself and try whatever tickles your fancy. This might be some of the best ice cream out there.

Pretty good ice cream. They have typical flavors but also unique ones. Very popular spot. Not too much seating but that’s okay because people are always cycling through the seats. The ice cream tasted nice. I got the toasted coconut and the salty caramel coffee flavors. Two scoops was a lot of ice cream for one person. But yeah overall a really good ice cream spot.

Stopped by this local ice cream shop recently while out with friends. The place had a cozy vibe and a decent selection of flavors — some classic, some more unique. I've been a customer since they first opened. Everything is made in-house and I've enjoyed every flavor that I've tried! If there is a line, it moves fairly quickly. The flavor advisors are courteous, helpful, and professional. For those that are indecisive like myself, they offer flights so you can choose 4 flavors. They also have non-dairy sorbets available as well.

Seasonal selections and great service make Blank Slate Creamery a prime location for everyone in town. While there may be a line, it generally moves fast and is worth the wait. I got a scoop of basil ice cream and blackberry riesling sorbet and WOW! They were amazing.

The basil with lemon olive drizzle was interesting. Never had ice cream taste like that before. Hard to find parking nearby, can try street parking or garage parking. Expect small queues

We had an urge for late night ice cream and this place has lines spilling out the front door. Wherever there is a line, join it! We had the flight with 4 flavors. They were all good but the daily special Lavendar and Lemon stole the show. Absolutely unique.

Was in the area on vacation visiting family, and I was pleasantly surprised by how far above and beyond this location was compared to everything in the area. From the people at the front counter, remembering me from the first time I came in down to the drinks being top-notch and feeling like it was made from scratch by your grandmother. Also, usually when you go to a place like this, the bathrooms are less than desirable. You can tell that from the top down to the bottom, everybody is invested in keeping the place clean and in tiptop shape. I now look forward to coming back to the area every time and this is always gonna be my first stop no matter what time of day. Such a lovely place and the atmosphere makes you feel very, very comfortable and at home even when you’re many many states away from home.

Cozy, great staff, plenty of room. Good place to study, write, read. Extra seating area behind front room is a great touch. In a town where everything closes super early, it's nice to have an option that is open a little later.

I’m a regular at the downtown Ann Arbor location partly because of the beverages but mostly because of the service. The counter folks are friendly, welcoming, and professional. Gabe, in particular, has an ease with customers that makes his service exceptional. Great place, great staff.

Great local coffee shop to spend your money in here and not those big chains :) if you like a sweet treat try the mocha ice dragon, my favorite for those hot days. The cafe also has space to work or meet and relax with a friend.

What a wonderful little coffee shop. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We visited from the Boston area and stayed very close to Comet Coffee. We each had a mocha, mine decaf. It was absolutely wonderful, we went back multiple times to have more. If we’re ever back in Ann Arbor, we will definitely make it a point to stop in At Comet!

Absolutely fantastic coffee, pastries, and atmosphere! The location in Nickels Arcade is absolutely splendid, and it gives the place a fantastic feel. The Cafe Dulce was a great order, and they even gave me a free croissant towards closing time! I was very happy to spend some time studying here on a hot day, and I would definitely recommend it!

This was a gift from heaven on a cold 🥶 Friday morning in Ann Arbour. A cozy place with great coffee ☕️ and croissants 🥐. Loved the combination and also the roasted coffee smell at the cafe. Loved the fact that they served kid sized tumblers with warm milk so that they too could experience the café atmosphere with the adults. A great place to visit for a chat with friends and family if you’re in the vicinity of University of Michigan. 🤩 will be back for sure!!!

This is a good restaurant. They have kase spatzle as an appetizer. It has sausage in it, which many other German restaurants do not. The beer selection is good, with over half of the draft choices being authentic German beers. They did not have red cabbage on the menu, but I asked and they made it.

Walking inside reminds me of the theme park experience where you are transported to another place! We had dinner on the first floor where the waitstaff was easy going and very friendly. The smoked pork chop is amazing! The kitchen was also happy to work with the food allergy in our party.

If you are hungry for German food, DO NOT go to this restaurant. It was a waste of time and money! We spent our previous anniversary in Heidelberg Germany. This year, we drove 62 miles to the Heidelberg Restaurant in Ann Arbor. Where do I begin?! We arrived at 4:45 pm. Two people at the bar, we were the only other guests. We were told to sit anywhere, so we sat at a long table. I ordered hot tea or coffee. They don’t serve any. I ordered schnitzel, sauerkraut, vegetables. After a 40 minute wait, I was served a plate of burned tasteless slop. The schnitzel was a dark brown over-cooked deep-fried piece of something that did not taste like meat. The sauerkraut was very bland and it looked like they heated it by browning it in a fry pan. The tastiest thing on my plate was the broccoli. My husband’s Spätzle looked and tasted like re-fried wet white croutons. The bratwurst was lukewarm re-heated sausage. Save yourself $50 and go anywhere else, especially if you are celebrating your wedding anniversary. So disappointed!

Sorry to rate the atmosphere so low. First off, the minute we walked in we were greeted with the heavy smell of pine-sol cleaner. The smell in the bar downstairs was off the charts, and I'm not super sensitive to smell. We went to take a look and would have hung out but we were all but gagging from the smell. Upstairs it was tolerable but considerably detracted from the atmosphere, which was small and too hot. Maybe they were airing out the smell because the AC didn't seem to be doing much? The German menu entree items were more limited than hoped for. Dining area was quite small. Food quality was ok..this is more like a bar than a German restaurant to me..an old German bar with about 70/30 American German menu. The schnitzel however was good. Everyone I believe enjoyed their meals. Waitress was nice and did a decent job. Had a small selection of German beers and take out which was nice. We will try going back, maybe we caught them doing some summer cleaning?

We went for the first time on a Thursday night and enjoyed some trivia. Having been in Germany a few months prior, what really brought us here was the König Ludwig Weissbier and the $10 1-liter boots did not disappoint. Spaetzle, pretzels, and burgers were incredible. Great atmosphere and overall a wonderful meal with even better service!

Great food (schnitzel, spaetzel, potato pancakes, and Cole slaw all solid) and really nice bartenders and staff. Good selection of different beers. Pool table is a lot of fun!

I had to stop in here since I am a graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin Ohio. We had a drink. The decor is so cool. They have three levels. The upstairs is available for private parties, the main floor is the restaurant, and the lower level is a cool bar vibe. There's a bar in the main restaurant as well. I'll being back to eat soon. The menu looked great.

I simply love TeaHaus! I enjoy sipping on a cup of tea from their extensive selection, catching up with friends, or reading a book in the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The pastries are great too!

I adore this place. Lots of seating, amazing selection, and I love that there is no WiFi or laptops allowed. I e joy coming here to sketch and do art while I drink tea. The Ginger Grapefruit green tea is fantastic.

I just found out you can resteep your tea order, which makes so much sense. I have a lot of tea at home so I don’t order their tea that often, but I like them whenever I do. I’m always on the look out for new flavors of cakes and macarons. I feel like macaron’s flavors change roughly every month, but cakes are hard to predict. For a tea place, I really wish they have more tea flavor desserts. Of all the sweets I’ve had from them, I love their hojicha cake and hazelnut crepe cake the most.

WOW! My husband and I were caught in a downpour while out together. We had been eyeballing this place as we do like tea, and this gave us the push to finally run for cover inside! We ordered our tea and the cashier was so helpful, and pricing and treats great! We sat down and realized the table said “NO WI-FI NO LAPTOPS” - we laughed as we had planned on getting on our laptops, but rolled with it! There’s tons of board games, we selected checkers. We drank tea, had snacks, and ended up having one of the best date nights we have ever had waiting for the rain to stop! We played endless rounds and finished our teapots. By the end we wondered why more places weren’t encouraging this kind of connection - this place is special - thanks for a great time and the gentle push🥰!

As someone who has worked with POS systems I know this kind of label does not appear by default ...it has to be manually entered. There is no operational reason to include “ice” twice in that way and yet another time at the bottom and it is clear the phrase was intentionally added. What makes this especially concerning is the current political climate. The term “ICE” is heavily associated with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement an agency linked to deeply distressing experiences for many immigrant communities. The phrase “ICE ICE BABY” has been used in media and online spaces in connection to immigration raids and enforcement. Given that context, seeing it printed on a receipt at a local place was not only jarring, but felt deeply inappropriate. What is disappointing is that I genuinely enjoyed the atmosphere at TeaHaus. I had been exploring new places in the area and even recommended it to others especially because I appreciated the quiet, cozy environment… a place to disconnect from WiFi, stay present and enjoy a moment. But after seeing that on the receipt I no longer feel comfortable coming back. I am sharing this in good faith, with the hope that it is taken seriously. Small choices even ones meant as jokes reflect the values of a business and impact customer trust.

TeaHaus is exactly what I want in a tea spot: clean, calm, friendly, and lots of choices. Regarding another reviewer’s complaint about “ICE ICE BABY” on a receipt: that’s obviously a playful label for an iced drink, not a policy stance. Not everyone assigns the same political meaning to everyday words, and we shouldn’t demand that businesses tiptoe around harmless wordplay. It could have also been solved in private directly and not blasted over the internet self-righteously. America works because people can run their shops with a little personality and customers can agree or disagree and move on. I’m sticking with TeaHaus—great tea, great vibe. ★★★★★

One of the must have done in Ann Arbor. Not only the standard farmers market on Saturday and Wednesday... but any of the other ones proposed all year long. It is such a nice place to hang out. The fact that it is covered make it enjoyable with any weather. The variety of vendors make it easy to find good produce. As a French, I am always looking for bread and patisserie. So many good choice, but white lotus won my heart.

It's a nice size and there's a lot of variety there. I will say, it's pricey, even for Ann Arbor. It's nice to have here to offer locally sourced goods. I would recommend at least walking around on a Saturday morning, even if you don't have the intention of buying something. You just might find something worth trying!

Had great time experiencing the Farmers market in Kerrytown Ann Arbor Michigan. Saw many organic and authentic local produce and enjoyed home made food.

Fun place and great people. Must visit in Ann Arbor. Staff was helpful and pointed us to some great places to eat after our visit.

There’s a great selection of mead here, with options to suit every taste. I prefer sweeter meads, and the strawberry rhubarb never disappoints. The staff is friendly and happy to offer samples until you find the perfect one. The space is clean and minimally designed - simple but pleasant. Seating isn’t the coziest, but it’s fine for a short visit. They often host events, and I recently enjoyed the Witchy Woo event, which featured live music and a tasty pastry stand where I picked up some delicious vegan puppy chow. Their comedy nights are also a fantastic deal. Definitely worth checking out!

The employees were great and place has potential, however the lighting is way.... way too bright. No one wants to go have drinks and be blinded. Wattage could be definitely cut in half.

I lived in Ann Arbor for 3 years and Blom was a monthly visit. I always come back when I’m in town and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and the best vibes. They host the best events, my favorites being yoga and trivia. The Perry Saison will always be a favorite.

We held a casual wedding welcome party at Blom a few weeks ago, and we had an amazing experience! The owner, Lauren, was so easy to work with. We rented out the private room and catered food. It's so hard to find a space in downtown Ann Arbor where you can have a casual party, and Blom is such a wonderful third space where people can gather. We had about 40 people come and go throughout the evening, and the staff kept an open bar tab throughout our party and even after when people were still mingling. We also had about 8 young kids join us, and they all had a great time playing board games. The staff were so helpful and kind! I highly recommend Blom for parties and gatherings!

Our non-profit, Lori's Hands, hosted a fundraising event at Bløm last week. They were absolutely fantastic to work with! The food, drinks, and atmosphere was absolutely perfect for the 25 guests we hosted. Lauren, one of Bløm's owners, was incredibly detail-oriented, punctual, and helpful from start to finish. We are so grateful to have held our event here, and look forward to hosting more in the future! I can't say enough about how great of a spot this is.

Modern kind of hospital Ish but more than made up for with the service conversation and drinks from the servers. Blonde ale was outstanding.

Super trendy place - it being so popular made it a little challenging to find a good spot to sit! The breakfast sandwich with avocado was delicious and for a very reasonable price. Definitely would go back to explore other options they have there.

If you like when your coffee actually tastes like coffee, you’ll love York. Limited syrup options, but really great and strong lattes. Lovely atmosphere to do work and great food & snacks as well.

This place is great, ordered a pork and cheese charcuterie. Great quality on the cold cuts, the salami and prosciutto were delicious. We had an aged Gouda and a Camembert. I also had a caramel macchiato and it was great. Made in the traditional Italian style. Great place to stop on a date in Ann arbor.

Wow!! My boyfriend and I came here for the first time today, roaming the city with which I am a resident: my boyfriend is from Royal Oak. I could tell he was not going to settle for any ‘ol meal off the street. He was taken aback by the menu style but was intrigued by the options. The main dining room is buzzing with chatter and cheer over meals meats and vegetables made with true mindfulness. The space and the seating was copious, the drinks range from awesome to even more awesome. Try the “karate chimp” if you’re into something a little fruity. The Guest Services staff at all register order and pay stops were exceptionally well behaved in their hats as employees. Everyone that works here is quite literally iconic looking. There is a beautiful black and white portrait of Nelson Mandela in one of the more intimate corners of the space that is approximately 4-5,000sq/ft. Kasha was working the dining room as service and tender and Lordy, was it a pleasure to see her work with another coworker to manage and maintain the restaurant’s atmosphere. This is a GREAT place for ANY occasion. Personal, business, pleasure, party, etc. ! Thank you, YORK Food and Drink for your business!!!!

Price is definitely high but fair due to the quality of food and service. The place is clean and confortable. The patio is fantastic (so rare in Ann Arbor). Food is wonderful. Evening is great but we also really enjoy the place for a breakfast or a fun lunch. The patio being kids friendly this is really unique. This is a simple place to enjoy your time with friends.

My daughter brought me here for my birthday. What an incredible time we had!!! The service was top-notch. The atmosphere is enchanting. It is romantic for a date but also appropriate for a girls' night or even a business meeting. It can be whatever you need it to be. The food... We had 3 small plates, 3 large plates, drinks, and desserts. I was not stuffed when I concluded our night. Everything was light and tasty. Perfect place for a night on town or any celebration!

Such a gem! The acoustics were perfect, jazz was the perfect volume and we could hear everything clearly but still chit chat. The musicians were so talented! Atmosphere was like a dream come true. We sat at the bar and I was worried the barstools would be uncomfortable, but they had backs and were pretty supportive. Food was great. My favorite part was that everyone was so nice--from the servers to the multiple regulars who chatted with us, everyone felt so welcoming and genuinely happy we had stopped in for the first time. My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we got complimentary dessert and champagne, it was so sweet. Can't recommend Blue Llama enough!

What a fantastic place. Not a bad seat in the house, the staff was fantastic. They helped me score a ticket to the second show, the headliners were playing two shows. Drink prices very reasonable, and waitresses were very attentive.

Impeccable service, attention to detail with the food. It was obvious great care had been taken to combine all the flavors and present such delicious and fresh food. We were gifted champagne and dessert for our anniversary by the establishment. Such a nice touch! The musicians were excellent, talented, fun to listen to. Our table was ready upon arrival, we were treated by all employees with courtesy and respect, and we enjoyed our time immensely. Thank you!

The Blue Llama feels like an elite jazz club, and is the perfect venue for dinner and/or drinks with a show. The focus here is on the amazing musicians that come to play here, with the food, service, and atmosphere being great bonuses. Our waitress Sarafina was very attentive and took good care of us throughout the night. The food was delicious, and the menu includes small plates, large plates, dessert, cocktails, and wines. It's a very clean club/restaurant. The music does get very loud (because it's live), but that's to be expected.

Well I made reservations for Sweetest Day to surprise my love. Went on the website reserved for 9pm( the time they had available). Well the day of…THE DAY OF!!!! 6pm to be exact 3 hours before my reservation they call and cancelled my reservation stating they’re not doing late night….WOW!!! The disappointment hurt and just all around confusion I felt was unimaginable now I’m sitting there, upset, crying, trying to figure out what to do. I had plans and it was ruined by their lack of efficiency. I was actually excited to go after this no way. Then asked if I wanted to reschedule…hell no asked the lady that called well can you fit me in earlier….No absolutely ridiculous and of course, I could not find any reservations in the area for the particular style that I wanted. Ruined my whole sweetest day with my love. Terrible

We had the pleasure of attending the Blue Llama last night, and it was AMAZING!!! We were celebrating a birthday in our family, and this Jazz club made it fantastic. The food, the service, and the music were of the highest quality. The setting of the dining room is intimate yet well spaced apart. We opted for dessert which was also excellent. This is a must see if you are looking for an excellent night out.

The renovations and additions these last few years have been such a game changer. The new Home Goods and Marshalls was needed refresh. Rally House, B&BW, and Kroger are all great too

Lower the rent so cooler and more interesting little businesses can move in here.

This is a very large used book store with lots of variety. We enjoyed looking around. There were more older books than newer ones, which is to be expected at a used place. Prices were about 8$ for a paperback so a little pricey depending on what you are getting. Very cool place to check out!

I was traveling through the area and just Googled bookstores. The name of this store attracted my attention. I had no idea what I was getting into, I only put an hour on the parking meter. This is a great place. It can be overwhelming. I found several gems in the quick hour I explored this shop. Unless you’re going in for one specific book, expect to spend a long time browsing the vastness.

I purchased some books from the Dawn Treader Book Shop online. The staff was extremely courteous and kind. My purchase was well packaged and shipped promptly. Extremely pleased with my purchase and the experience of shopping with this store. I highly recommend them.

If you were expecting more of a tribute to the book or author who inspired the name for this store—you will be disappointed. There is no Narnia or Lewis section. The barely carried any of his books. This is just your run of the mill used bookstore.

Amazing store! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. There was a great selection of merchandise and everything was very high quality. I bought garden gloves and a frog statue (which was very heavy) and they let me drive right into the store to load up. Definitely will return next time I’m in Ann Arbor!

Best pet care selection! I just went in to look and found a great selection and of dog treats and health care products! The buyer there was super helpful, the products are the same ones she gives her dogs. (They are at the shop and soooo cute! Hi Olive and Beatrix!) they helped me find dental and joint care items I’ve been searching for. Thanks! I will be back

This is a beautifully curated store with a pleasantly surprising selection (I was not expecting to find L.L. Bean gear at a home and garden store but am glad I did!). Staff was eager to welcome us and let us know about the very interesting history of the building & the business!

This store is a destination in and of itself. There inventory is ever-changing with delightful treasures around every corner. My favorite things about the store are their extensive collection of all sorts of pet products, including treats and toys, and the collection of tiny fairy garden plants. I mean, come on!! What could be cuter?

This place carries the best of the best in kitchen items. Seriously impressive selection of items you would usually have difficulty finding under one roof. From quality clothing and pet supplies to household goods. I love just browsing this place and checking out the inventory... there's a lot to take in. They have a big selection of plants, bulbs and seeds as well.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced yet. Not service oriented or grateful to be there at all. Entitled and arrogant. They were having a 30% off sale and I thought the pots I had brought to the counter were included. Two ladies at the counter had a terrible and unhelpful attitude- wanted to argue about it. While the front lady and I were at the checkout, I asked how her day was going while another clerk was checking in the sale, and she looked surprised I was talking to her, and gave me a stern “fine” and snickered like I was causing an inconvenience to her. Even when I said “oh that’s ok, I just won’t get them. That sign is confusing, it might confuse others too” they started belittling me, and giving attitude.

Man it kills me to write this but the employees and patrons should probably know. A month or so ago, I was browsing the New Releases. I am fully aware of what time they close, and I had 15 minutes. The employee walks up to me and literally says, “soooo, what are ya doing?” I said, “umm, looking at records that I plan on potentially purchasing, don’t you have another 15 minutes until close?” His response, hold your seats: “yeahhhh I was just gonna try to get out of here early.” Welcome to the workforce dude! A couple days ago I had a similar experience. I had 3 records, the guy comes and puts them on the shelf (dude, I’ll bring them up if I want that, thanks). No problem. But eventually I get up there with a $10 record, and mention I’m tight on cash so was going to have to wait until next time to grab said records he took up to the counter. MIND YOU - I spend probably a couple hundred dollars a month there. Is it paying to keep their lights on? No. Am I a loyal customer who spends money with them before any other record store? Yes. Anyway, he says in response, “*sigh* I’ll restock these I guess, maybe just think about that next time.” Haha. I didn’t say anything. But wanted to say, and here’s me saying it - YOU “WORK” AT A RECORD STORE (with all due respect). I might be wrong but the work load is, um, minimal? So hey guys, maybe match your store in being groovy. Stop being pretentious and weird. The owner is the only cool one. They’ll also bleed you if you sell them records. I understand this but will NEVER get fleeced like that again. Sold them 2 records worth over $200, totaling about 35-40 records, and got $180 back. LOL. I’ll blame myself for that one, they’re just ‘doing business’. Great store, rare finds, but maybe be kind gentlemen. See you next time!

Wow! So much fun for me, a old record and CD collector! Tons of stuff, cassettes, vinyl, CDs, books, I was like a pig in.... well... I was having a very good time!

De-cluttering at home, found ~200 music CDs I hadn't played in years. Encore purchased about half of them 🙂 from me. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, huge collection of vintage vinyl records, old CDs and DVDs.

Great selection. Found some great stuff. My only issue is that they put price tags on back cover. Why do this when they’re all in plastic sleeves? Just put the price on the plastic sleeves like everyone else does. Besides that, no complaints. Staff was friendly!

Cool record store with a lot of vintage items to look through. Prices were decent for Ann Arbor. Very busy store with a lot of items coming in and going out.

Really good selection of vintage records with a very well organized and labeled collection. Has become a habit of mine to visit this store every time I’m in town. Generally without exception I’ve left with a new item for my collection. The prices are good too! Finally, the store has a really nice vibe with very friendly staff.
