Yoon's Bakery is a delightful fusion of Korean and French baking styles, offering a wide array of pastries, breads, cakes, and tarts. The bakery features delectable buns filled with red bean paste, adorable egg tarts, and savory fried croquettes. Visitors can savor the unique flavors of items like sweet potato, red bean, or green pea in their baked goods.
Sad i cycled all the way here from canton coz i was craving bingsu and its rare in mi. only to find out its out of season. Just bought some breads instead. Its good. I like that their custard breads are fluffy and soft. Not too sweet. The blueberry bun is literally as big as my face.

Absolutely delicious pastries! My daughter brought me some home one day and I came all the way back from East Lansing for more!!! The garlic bread with cream cheese I like wasn't ready yet so I had a Matcha Latte while I waited 30 mins. The latte was good and the bread was worth the wait!

Lovely bakery with a lot of variety and options of pastries and drinks. Their prices are fair. Highly recommend supporting Yoon’s!
Maurielle C — Google review
Great Korean bakery. The buns are all delicious, of course, but don't miss out on the warm items like the croquettes and ham and cheese toast, either. The cakes are light and flavorful. And the purple sweet potato latte, even though it has no coffee, is really sweet but delicious. My biggest complaint is that it's way too easy to spend too much money here because everything looks so delicious!
Kyle C — Google review
Bingsu at Yoon’s is one of my favorite summer treats! I think this was the freshest mango i’ve ever had. All their bakery items and cakes look so fresh and yummy.
Candice C — Google review
This place is fantastic. We had the croissant, egg bread, and coffee-dusted mochi with espressos. Croissant was the perfect mix of buttery, flaky, and crispy that is impossible to get in US. Egg bread had egg, ham, tomato. The bread was really soft with stron eggy/custardy flavor. The mochi was fresh and huge.
Barry N — Google review
OBSESSED with this bakery! Always wanted to get yummy baked deserts, but did not manage to find a spot until I checked out Yoon’s bakery! Love the options, very fluffy pastry, and super yummy. The cashier lady was super sweet, and they give you the freedom to take your time, pick was you want, and once you are done you just up front and pay!
Sumaia A — Google review
I am not a sweets person but their fresh strawberry cream cake is my favorite. I can eat a whole cake myself. It’s light fluffy and fresh. Their tiramisu dessert are delicious too.

Luca Pastry is a delightful family-run bakery nestled in Livonia, Michigan, where the art of baking meets heartfelt passion. Specializing in custom cakes and an array of Italian pastries, this charming spot is perfect for weddings and special events. Owners Michael and Barbara Cangialosi pour their love into every creation, offering everything from delectable cannoli to exquisite tarts. The menu also features tempting eclairs and a unique lobster tail pastry filled with rich Bavarian cream and ricotta.
This place is awesome! Had to find a cake to celebrate an 86th birthday and I live out of town. Rolled in at 4:45pm on a Saturday afternoon and was out the door with a beautiful triple chocolate cake and custom icing in under 5 minutes. Very fair prices, super tasty cake, and great service from the staff. I need to get back and try one of their new Italian subs next! Highly recommend this bakery - will definitely be back!
Derek E — Google review
my girlfriend and I came here for the first time today, and it’s this cute little Italian like Pastry/Deli shop. my girl ended up getting a bunch of delicious little Macarons, and i got an assortment of delightful cookies, and a Godfather Italian based caprese, with freshly sliced meat, loaded with succulent mozzarella and juicy tomatos, to create an impressively immaculate foodie experience. While also being attended to with quick responses, and fairly excellent customer service, from its employees. I went to Europe for a while, just over two years ago, and being in America, you don’t have access to the healthiest foods, nor simply based delicious foods. And this is what Luca brought to me today. There’s been coffee shops here and there that mimic Italy. But this food place definitely tops it off. Their imported noodle selection is insane, as well. THX FOR BEING AWESOME LUCA!!! p.s. try the pistachio gelato;)
Hayden B — Google review
We picked up sandwiches for a picnic and these did not disappoint. Good quality and well filled. Great selection at the store for sandwiches, Italian pasta, and desserts.
Christy T — Google review
Okay honestly whenever I need a sweet treat, I always come here because they have a variety of treats to eat. But recently I came in and they had Dubai chocolate cheesecake and when I tell you….they did the big one with that one. My new favorite treat gotta have it every week now. Please don’t get rid of them 😭
Lex B — Google review
I ordered an Anniversary cake & it came out unbelievably beautiful. I asked for a cake like the one posted on their Facebook page and Warren did a wonderful job personalizing a replica of that cake. I cannot say enough good things about the taste and quality of their products. Their gelato is a must try as well!!
Jamie M — Google review
Best bakery in Washtenaw county. We go here entirely too often. Everything is good and now that they have sandwiches I have another excuse to stop it.
Alicia A — Google review
Even though the cannoli at canton location wasn’t my favorite nor the mini strawberry cheesecake… the symphony cookie JUST WOW. Idk who created that concoction but it is delectable. The fruit tart was also 10/10 although I could deal without the layer of chocolate in the pastry crust. Lastly, my second most favorite dessert of all time, tiramisu. They did pretty well. I think C king & Co in Ypsi has them beat though if you’re looking for an extremely light, melt in your mouth, pause after every bite dessert experience. Regardless, I’m glad I decided to give this place another shot.
Sierra O — Google review
Outstanding! We have been going since they opened the Ann Arbor location and have never been disappointed. Every pastry we have tried has been a winner, and the gelato is amazing! They recently added some pasta, sauces and Italian treats which we have enjoyed as well. On top of that they have recently added subs as well, which are fantastic. Our family of 5 has tried many of the menu subs as well as the sub of the weeks and have loved every one. They are fresh, packed full, and the bread is amazing. Definitely check them out!

Wedding bakery
Sweet Heather Anne is highly recommended for all your cake needs. From the moment you see their cakes, you'll know they are the perfect choice for your wedding. Their cakes are not only beautiful but also personalized and incredibly delicious. The team at Sweet Heather Anne is fantastic to work with and was extremely accommodating during these uncertain times. Despite having to reschedule due to the pandemic, they made a complimentary mini-cake on our original wedding date and we can't wait for the full-size cake in October!
Sweet Heather Anne is hands down the best place to order your wedding cake from! Not only do they have amazing flavors but they truly can execute your design/vision better than your Pinterest board! I was so impressed with my cake and it was better than I could of imagined. And for my metro Detroit/Detroit brides, they deliver to your venue! Thank you Sweet Heather Anne! I cannot wait to get my 1 year anniversary cake!!
Rachael N — Google review
If you're looking for a wedding cake, look no further. We only gave SHA one inspiration pic because we couldn't find a cake we liked better - until we saw the one they made for us!!! I seriously can't believe how beautiful it was and how much thought they put into it. The flowers they used were the ones we had at our wedding! It was the perfect amount of intricacy and simplicity. And the flavor!!! Not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. We chose a lemon lavender cake and it was excellent. Many of our friends and family complimented how good it was. Seriously - could not be happier. Worth every penny.
Audrey E — Google review
I asked our venue which vendor to choose for our cake and they immediately said Sweet Heather Anne's. We booked a tasting and consultation and it was fun! We got to meet with Sarah for the tasting and then Heather about the design. I showed her some inspiration pics I found online and she sketched it right there with us. For the wedding it looked beautiful. We had vanilla praline for the tiered cake and the chocolate salted caramel with cream cheese frosting as a sheet cake they sliced in the kitchen. Some guests were raving about the chocolate, some the vanilla, but many said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had! Thank you Sweet Heather Anne's for the beautiful and delicious cake!
Hana T — Google review
We absolutely loved our wedding cake!! We did a vanilla praline with apricot jam filling. So yummy! Everyone was so kind specially when we had to postpone and move our date. the bakery was flexible and professional! Would highly recommend them and will use for future events. Thank you so much for creating the perfect cake for our wedding 🥰💝
Sydney — Google review
Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning! Not only did it taste incredible, but it was truly a work of art. The attention to detail and creativity that went into the design blew us away — it was everything I dreamed of and more. So many of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful (and delicious!) it was. The whole experience was seamless, from communication to delivery, and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. If you’re looking for a cake that’s both breathtaking and delicious, this is the place to go!
Brittany C — Google review
Sweet Heather Anne is actually the some of the most delicious wedding cake you will ever eat! And (more importantly to brides), they were so easy to work with from our first meeting. We met and they sketched the design for our cake, then got to taste 4 flavors, and we had thorough communication throughout the planning process to make the big day stress free. We ended up having less guests last minute and they were able to work with our changes in the week or two before the wedding. They independently talked with my vendor and florist to make it a smooth process. We had chocolate salted caramel and lemon raspberry... would recommend!
Stephanie S — Google review
For our wedding, we wanted something unique. When talking to Heather Anne a couple of months ago about this idea, we knew right then that she could make it come to life... and boy, did she DELIVER! We absolutely LOVED the cake and so did our guests. It was truly a magnificent piece and I still can't get over how beautiful it was. Thank you so much for working with us and making this dream come to life!
Hannah H — Google review
I cannot recommend Sweet Heather Anne enough for all your cake needs! When we got engaged, I knew as soon as I saw Sweet Heather Anne's cakes that they were the only cake baker we could possibly have for our wedding. Their cakes are personal, incredibly beautiful, and unbelievably delicious. They are also amazing to work with! We were supposed to get married in May, 2020 but had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic. Sweet Heather Anne was super accommodating throughout this whole process and even made us a complimentary mini-cake on our original wedding date! I cannot wait for the full-size cake in October!!!

Zingerman's Bakehouse is a cozy bakery in Ann Arbor that offers an array of delicious baked goods, including breads, bagels, pastries, and Hungarian classics. The bakery is part of the larger Zingerman's franchise, which includes a deli for soups and sandwiches, a creamery for cheeses and gelatos, and a coffee company for world-class roasts.
This is one off the best places for sandwiches in the area. I only ever buy lunch from here, but the breads and cakes made locally on site look awesome too. Staff are always friendly and manage lunchtime queues well. The sandwiches are a little more expensive than the supermarkets, but the quality is much better here. Recently dropped my ID on the floor in here, and they kept it safe until I returned to collect it. There pecan pie is excellent!
Paul — Google review
Zingerman's Bakehouse truly exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding cake! During our initial consultation, Alyce was extremely helpful in guiding us through the many design options and hand-sketched the most beautiful cake that perfectly captured our wedding style and vision. The tasting box that they put together for us was absolutely delicious, and my husband and I had the best time picking out flavors from their many offerings and recommendations before finally deciding on their vanilla chiffon cake with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream. We really wanted to incorporate fresh floral arrangements on our cake, and the Zingerman’s Bakehouse team worked seamlessly with our florist to coordinate the design and set-up. On the day of our wedding, the cake was stunning and exactly how we envisioned it, and our guests endlessly complimented how absolutely delicious it was. After our wedding, the Bakehouse team also went above and beyond to help us coordinate for a replacement top tier for our anniversary after our hotel mistakenly threw ours away. We really can't thank Zingerman’s Bakehouse enough for their incredible work and for making the entire process easy and stress-free. We highly recommend Zingerman’s Bakehouse to any other couples looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for their big day.

Wonderful bread, pastries, and deserts for foodies. Elevated donuts on Saturdays and Sundays. Bacon infused specials seasonally. Expensive but totally worth it.

Okay, this review might be a bit of a stretch, but I felt compelled to write it. I have never been here, but my friend was. And they were kind enough to bring be back a package of the Currant Walnut Rugelach. Because my know my love of premium bake goods, and specific passion for pastries that go with Chai Latte, this was a real treat. I am thinking of making my own trip to Ann Arbor just to stop in a get some more. So good!
Scott W — Google review
I bought a cupcake to enjoy at home and when I bit into it, there was just an absolutely overwhelming fridge flavor! I got the blueberry cupcake and I couldn’t taste anything but an incredibly stale, strong flavor. It wasn’t even just on the surface, the middle of the cream even tasted awful! You guys definitely need to figure out the refrigerator problem.
Aditi S — Google review
Zingerman’s Bakehouse is truly a gem in Ann Arbor. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or lingering over pastries and coffee, everything feels crafted with love. Their homemade soups are comforting and flavorful—perfect on any day. The sandwiches are fresh and hearty, made with their own delicious breads. But the real stars are the pastries. From buttery croissants to rich brownies, every bite tastes like it was made just for you. There is a little bit of something for everyone!
Alexis M — Google review
I have just finished taking my fifth baking class. Both instructors that I have had. Sue and Laurie excellent instructors. They are informative, Hands-On and helpful beyond words. I have also found that anytime I have called zingerman's and spoken to the big staff and especially a woman by the name of Allie. Once again helpful beyond words. I cannot say enough good and high praise for the zingerman's bakehouse staff. Highly recommend and I should also mention that all of the classes I have taken have been fun. Informative and I've left there new ideas and ways of stepping out of my comfort zone and attempting to make big goods that I have always admired in. Now I'm able to produce them myself and my own kitchen. Thank you Sue. Thank you Lori and thank you. Allie.

The best bakery I’ve found since moving to the U.S.! Their bread is made with safe, natural ingredients and traditional methods, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. The Jewish Rye is my favorite. Zingerman’s Bakehouse has truly made my life in Michigan better.

The Songbird Cafe is a charming American eatery that offers a cozy setting and an array of meticulously crafted espresso drinks, soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. The cafe prides itself on sourcing fresh and flavorful coffee from Michigan roasters. In addition to their delicious coffee selection, the cafe also serves up sophisticated flavors in their food menu, including specialty lattes like toasted sesame latte and cardamom rose latte.
Went here because it is near Toyota and it is also near a lot of business too. Saw a lot customers are from the hospital. Got turkey sandwich and a cold brew for lunch. Yum. Turkey slices were stack pretty high, with fresh bread and some veggies, made a good sandwich. Sandwich is pretty good size too, if you are skinny, half portion and a soup should be good enough for you. Love the vibe, very spacious, free wifi, and good value for the price.
FriedChicken — Google review
It's a lovely cafe situated by Michigan's north campus. The prices are fair and the food is very yummy. I would recommend a breakfast sandwich and/or tea here.
Maurielle C — Google review
Name is cute, place is pretty, employees are kind, but the food and drinks were disappointing - which is unfortunately the whole point of this establishment. It has so much potential though!! Prices do not match the portion or quality you receive. The “Classic Breakfast” was two runny eggs, two dry pieces of bacon, a couple toasts, and some potatoes. Overall lightly seasoned and very bland. AC was cranked so high all the food was cold in a couple minutes. The “Gochujang Chicken Wrap” was very small pieces of fried chicken with barely any tomato or lettuce and what appeared to be light mayo inside a tortilla? I don’t know but it could barely hold its shape and was incredibly thin and hollow. The drinks were in cups that look child sized. The place is cute but, no one enjoys feeling deceived.
Swanna — Google review
The Songbird Cafe has a welcoming feel and cozy vibe. There were tables of people visiting and gathering, and other places with people working in notebooks or on devices. My husband and I stopped for breakfast. We placed our order and were assigned a table to sit at. It was just over $40 for two breakfast plates, a single coffee, and tip. I did have higher hopes for that price point than what we received - overcooked eggs, undercooked potatoes, and smucker jelly packets. Overall, an ok experience that didn’t quite match up to the price point.

Had the Phoenix sandwich with home fries and Iced Americano. Food was really good, and the service held up well even during a busy hour. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the servers were friendly and easy to talk to. Solid spot I’d come back to.
Yohan P — Google review
The visit started out a little rocky because we had a large group and wanted to move 2 tables together but once that was settled everything was amazing ! Great food and excellent service ! A waitress even took a group photo for us ! Coming back for sure !
Kelly B — Google review
I wanted to try this place out so I gave it a shot. When I walked in there was a menu on a chalkboard wall. I walked up to the counter to order and two gals were discussing a problem at the register. The one said she was going to take my order and they could finish the conversation when she was done, but the other one wasn’t listening and just kept talking. She had to cut her off and say she was going to take my order, which I’m glad for because I really didn’t want to keep waiting while they hashed that out. I ordered a Northside BLT with homemade chips, pickle and an m&m cookie. It cost close to $18.00, which I feel is pretty high for a sandwich/chips/cookie. I did enjoy the sandwich, having avocado on it. The chips were quite good as well. I would come back here and meet a friend for lunch. There’s a pretty large dining area for sitting too.
Libby W — Google review
Cute location, cute indoors, but it took us an hour to get our food. Ordered before the lunch rush came in and the entire rush got their food and left before we got an answer about where our order was. We didn’t get the friendliest response when we asked where our order from an hour ago was (just one burrito and one sandwich). When we finally did get our food, it was cold and dry. Probably won’t be coming back, just can’t afford to spend my entire morning waiting on stale breakfast. Might be a good option for some, but not for me.

We stopped by because this is one of the only Gluten Dude vetted restaurants in the area, which will cater to my celiac disease. Ordered the Elote Salad, and my husband the French toast. Alerted them to my allergies, and they were beyond diligent in catering to us. Which we really appreciate. Not to mention, this is easily the meal we've had in a long time. FANTASTIC!!!

Amazing hidden gem. It’s located right next to Pretzel Bell on Main Street. Lots of folks seem to order coffee and leave, but they are truly missing out on some delicious food! The smoked Salmon toast is absolutely amazing. Most of the servers are good, though, I’ve had a couple that seemed surprised to find that they were on the clock and shocked when I asked for a coffee refill. Still, the consternation is well worth it for the high quality food and coffee! The atmosphere is Ann Arbor in a nutshell. Give this place a try! You won’t regret it.
Steve B — Google review
I can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. Recently, I was here with a friend who suddenly felt faint, and the staff jumped into action right away. They brought her water and food without hesitation and made sure she was comfortable until she felt better. Their kindness and quick response turned what could have been a scary situation into one where we felt truly cared for. On top of their amazing service, the coffee and food are excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place where people genuinely look out for their customers, but this coffee shop goes above and beyond. Highly recommend not just for the great drinks, but for the wonderful people behind the counter.
Kylie C — Google review
2025 Update: Their location moved and merged with Pretzel Bell and it honestly saved their restaurant in my opinion. The service got significantly better. I no longer had to wait basically an hour for brunch, We got seated right away - got our orders taken within a reasonable amount of time and got our food and checks all within 30-45 minutes. We weren't left with where did our waiter/waitress go for an hour as we waited for our checks. Significantly better since they got bought out or merged. The food was good, however the service was terrible. The waiter did not come back to refill our waters the entire hour visit. He didn’t really come back to check on us. When I got up to use the restroom I spotted him chatting with the bartender instead of grabbing our checks. I saw him continuing to chat while we waited for about 15 minutes for our checks to come in.

We waiting in line for 40 minutes to give this place a try. The line wrapped around the inside of the building and extended outside. Unfortunately, I don’t think the ice cream was worth the wait. Though it was good, it tasted just like average ice cream you can buy at the grocery store. Additionally, the line moved soo slow, with just 3 people working at a time. With the amount of business, they likely could’ve hired some more help for the busy evening. Finally, the place does not lend itself well for indoor seating due to the long lines. However, I will give them props for probably the most reasonable prices in town and for the most generous serving sizes! Bravo for catering to large groups and families as well. Would I wait in a long line for the ice cream again? No. Would I come back if there was no line? Sure. (Pictured are single scoop cup/waffle cone. Attached are videos of some of the flavors- we weren’t able to look at the options before ordering due to the chaos at the register.)

We had black cherry, rainbow sherbet, lemon custard, vanilla & coffee flavors throughout our group. All were enjoyed by everyone. The ice cream is not icy. The kids' and single sizes are generous servings and the line was long, but moved quickly. My only criticism is that they could use a dedicated cashier. There seemed to be some confusion about who was ringing up our order. Those employees could have been serving the next order instead of waiting for a turn at the register. Please remember to tip. These kids provide good service.

We stopped here after dinner on a Saturday night and it was so busy! Despite this, the employees were so helpful with their flavor and portion suggestions. I got the kid's scoop of the Irish Mint and it was ginormous! The flavors were complex and rich. They have such cute decor inside and several outdoor seating options. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you have time and room for dessert!

HOLY CAMOLY... Whoever told you that you can't have enough ice cream was wrong. A single scoop of ice cream here is hefty and massive... Very worth it! Had a family ice cream date and ended up getting the lemon custard (recommended by a neighbourhood mom) and my husband got a fudge and peanut butter scoop on a waffle cone. No complaints on our end. Enjoyed the taste and size of the ice cream and looking forward to trying new flavours while we're here in Ann Arbor. Service was also quick and friendly. Great first experience here!

Store
TeaHaus in Ann Arbor, Michigan is a must-visit for true tea lovers. The tea room and cafe offer an extensive selection of teas, including iced strawberry and star fruit tea. The hazelnut French macaron is a perfect dessert to complement the tea. The cozy atmosphere invites guests to relax and connect with others without the distraction of Wi-Fi.
The Tea Haus was exactly what I was hoping for. A great selection of teas and sweets in a cozy, inviting environment, perfect for catching up with friends and family. The wall of tea is quite impressive, and easy to navigate (especially with the expert help of Paul!). So many great varieties and flavors to choose from. I look forward to coming back!

I simply love TeaHaus! I enjoy sipping on a cup of tea from their extensive selection, catching up with friends, or reading a book in the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The pastries are great too!

I adore this place. Lots of seating, amazing selection, and I love that there is no WiFi or laptops allowed. I e joy coming here to sketch and do art while I drink tea. The Ginger Grapefruit green tea is fantastic.

I just found out you can resteep your tea order, which makes so much sense. I have a lot of tea at home so I don’t order their tea that often, but I like them whenever I do. I’m always on the look out for new flavors of cakes and macarons. I feel like macaron’s flavors change roughly every month, but cakes are hard to predict. For a tea place, I really wish they have more tea flavor desserts. Of all the sweets I’ve had from them, I love their hojicha cake and hazelnut crepe cake the most.

WOW! My husband and I were caught in a downpour while out together. We had been eyeballing this place as we do like tea, and this gave us the push to finally run for cover inside! We ordered our tea and the cashier was so helpful, and pricing and treats great! We sat down and realized the table said “NO WI-FI NO LAPTOPS” - we laughed as we had planned on getting on our laptops, but rolled with it! There’s tons of board games, we selected checkers. We drank tea, had snacks, and ended up having one of the best date nights we have ever had waiting for the rain to stop! We played endless rounds and finished our teapots. By the end we wondered why more places weren’t encouraging this kind of connection - this place is special - thanks for a great time and the gentle push🥰!

[Edited to respond to the owner] Thank you, Lisa, for your response. I appreciate the clarification and understand that “ICED ICED BABY” was meant as a lighthearted reference to the famous song we all know.In recent years that phrase regardless of how it is spelled has unfortunately been used in connection with immigration enforcement, sometimes in mocking or harmful ways. As someone who is part of the immigrant community, I found it especially jarring, even if the intention was playful, because of how the phrase has been used to harm or mock people in other contexts.I am editing this to not hurt your business which I genuinely enjoyed, but simply to raise awareness. Thank you again for taking the time to respond. [Original review below] Dear Tea Haus Team, I am reaching out regarding a recent visit to your shop where I ordered an iced tea. While reviewing my receipt afterward, I noticed the item was labeled “ICE ICE BABY.” I understand this may have been intended as a lighthearted reference but I found it unprofessional and uncomfortable. As someone who has worked with POS systems I know this kind of label does not appear by default ...it has to be manually entered. There is no operational reason to include “ice” twice in that way and yet another time at the bottom and it is clear the phrase was intentionally added. What makes this especially concerning is the current political climate. The term “ICE” is heavily associated with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement an agency linked to deeply distressing experiences for many immigrant communities. The phrase “ICE ICE BABY” has been used in media and online spaces in connection to immigration raids and enforcement. Given that context, seeing it printed on a receipt at a local place was not only jarring, but felt deeply inappropriate. What is disappointing is that I genuinely enjoyed the atmosphere at TeaHaus. I had been exploring new places in the area and even recommended it to others especially because I appreciated the quiet, cozy environment… a place to disconnect from WiFi, stay present and enjoy a moment. But after seeing that on the receipt I no longer feel comfortable coming back. I am sharing this in good faith, with the hope that it is taken seriously. Small choices even ones meant as jokes reflect the values of a business and impact customer trust.
Ari R — Google review
TeaHaus is exactly what I want in a tea spot: clean, calm, friendly, and lots of choices. Regarding another reviewer’s complaint about “ICE ICE BABY” on a receipt: that’s obviously a playful label for an iced drink, not a policy stance. Not everyone assigns the same political meaning to everyday words, and we shouldn’t demand that businesses tiptoe around harmless wordplay. It could have also been solved in private directly and not blasted over the internet self-righteously. America works because people can run their shops with a little personality and customers can agree or disagree and move on. I’m sticking with TeaHaus—great tea, great vibe. ★★★★★

Dimo's Deli & Donuts is a hidden gem offering an array of delectable treats. While renowned for its diverse donut selection, the eatery also boasts an impressive menu of sandwiches and deli options. The Manhattan Reuben sandwich, featuring tender corned beef and creamy coleslaw on homemade bread, is particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the fries are described as hot, salty, and crispy with fluffy potato insides.
Love this place! Local favorite spot. The Doughnuts are amazing and everything is delicious!

Tried coming here a few times when we were in town and every time it was closed, today it was open and finally got to try it. This place has been around since I was in high school (that I took note of at least) and figured it had to be good. I ordered a tuna melt sandwich, my sons got hamburger meals and they came on big pieces of bread, not a bun. Looked good though. One kid liked it, the other thought it was too much and wouldn’t eat the crust. My tuna sandwich was huge! Took up the entire take out container! But it unfortunately wasn’t the best tuna I’ve had. Pretty bland and needed mayo or salt or both. Just not good flavor, at all. Really wanted to like it. Even got donuts, but the chocolate frosting wasn’t the best either. The owner, Dimo, helped us (or at least that’s what a customer behind us called him) and he was super nice and helpful, my kids liked him. Wish I would have enjoyed the food more, but maybe it’s just not for me.

First off, customer service was great. Polite and offered my friend and I an ice water to cool a 90 degree day. Bought a variety of donuts for my team and received rave reviews. Chewy, soft, fresh, just right. The yeast donuts were delicate and flavorful. The cake donuts had a fresh fried crisp to them. A nice treat for all!

Love Dimo's! I have been coming here on and off since 2017. The harassment is a nice extra flavor, but they usually tone it down when kids are around or if they can tell you're in a bad mood. Their donuts are always fresh and delicious. Their breakfast sandwiches are great as well with thick, nicely cooked bacon and eggs. I will always come here when I need something to brighten my day. Thank you for all of your hard work!!

Feb 13th 2024 Paczki day!!! Soo good!!! Flavors: Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Apple, Buttercream and Custard 😋 Apple fritters, donuts, and sandwiches are the best in town! Better than Zingerman's Deli in my opinion. Sandwiches are monster sized and great selection to choose from...plus burgers and fries! Hidden in the menu is a falafel sandwich or platter that's great on a summer day. Love the owner and his humor. Brings a smile and laugh to all who walk through his door. 😂 Update Dec 2021... pics of Turkey Club and Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches! Plus order of hash browns with cheddar cheese and veggies! Of course, yummy donuts!

The Jefferson Market is a local eatery that has a nostalgic feel and offers outdoor seating for customers. Known as The Jeff, this neighborhood restaurant serves breakfast and lunch all day long. Housed in a historic building, which used to be a grocer in the 1920s, it has become a popular spot among the locals. One of their specialties is their delicious cookies, like the gluten-free honey peanut butter cookie.
This place is like if you took an average coney breakfasts and made them 10x better. Really enjoyed it. House made biscuits were bomb. Only thing is I wish their gravy was more peppery but other than that 🤌.

First impression walking in was lovely, it’s very cute inside. I ordered a black coffee with honey, the Egg and Cheese biscuit, and a side of their potatoes. The biscuit was delicious, I added the homemade sausage patty and it was amazing. The potatoes were just “meh”, could definitely be a bit warmer. I was unaware they don’t allow computers, which I don’t mind at all but some people might so I wanted to include that. Atmosphere was nice, I went in around 9:45am and by 10 it was almost full. Love the knick-knacks they’ve got around the place, especially the old cameras :) I would say that it doesn’t seem like the place you’d want to kick back and hang out for an extended period of time because they were busy enough to need the table back, but for a quick bite and a good coffee it’s definitely worth the trip.
Chelsea S — Google review
It’s a nice atmosphere here, but it took forever to place an order and to get our food. Granted it was busy, they felt a bit understaffed to keep up with demand. Food was good & filling— props to the cooks! Nice location close to A2 schools and church. Would recommend for a low key spot.

So if you care about going to places everybody goes because there is a vibe to them, then maybe you would enjoy this place more. I just don’t under the hype about it and I think their breakfast dishes are very ordinary. However, given my dietary restrictions I cannot try some of their more famous dishes. Over all I feel most people go there for the vibe or because it’s an old local place (this I appreciate and understand) but they can do better on their menu imo
Negin — Google review
Tucked away in a quiet Ann Arbor neighborhood, Jefferson Market is a delightful corner café that feels both timeless and alive. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by warm wood floors, vintage kitchen décor, and a bustling open kitchen behind the counter. It’s got that rare small-town energy—relaxed but efficient. We came for brunch and ordered huevos rancheros, the classic biscuit breakfast plate, a latte and a raspberry biscuit sandwich. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and well-balanced. The huevos rancheros had rich flavors with just the right amount of heat and crunch. The biscuit plate came with golden potatoes, perfectly cooked sunny-side eggs, and a generous slab of sausage—comfort food done right. The mini biscuit sandwich was a lovely sweet-savory treat, buttery and soft without being heavy. Service was cheerful and casual. You order at the counter and find your own seat, but the staff check in on you and keep things moving. The café fills up fast on weekends, but the line moves quickly. It’s clearly a favorite for families, students, and longtime locals. Highly recommend for a relaxed weekend brunch. This is one of those places that makes you feel like part of the neighborhood, even if you’re just passing through.

A great breakfast and lunch spot in a beautiful part of the Old West Side! Certainly the perfect spot to grab a coffee while looking at all the beautiful houses in the area.
Matthew H — Google review
This was easily the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had—anywhere. I was born in Ann Arbor and am a Michigan alum who loves local cafés, but my visit to Jefferson Market on October 4 before the UM game left me genuinely shocked. My friend (a gay Asian-American professor visiting from out of state) briefly sat at an empty table to hold two seats while I waited in line. The owner, Ed Green, rushed over and ordered him to stand. Moments later, we saw a white woman doing the same thing right in front of the counter without issue. We can’t know motives, but the uneven treatment—especially toward a visible-minority customer—left a lasting question. When my friend politely asked why, Mr. Green grew angry, said he “hadn’t seen her,” and then threatened us with, “You do want to eat here, don’t you?” At the counter his first words were, “Are you going to behave now?” I asked if he was always so rude to his customers. His wife/co-owner then stepped in, ordered him to go back to the kitchen, and told us to leave. Outside, several regulars who had watched the entire exchange stopped us and said how sorry they were that we’d had that experience—adding, “We’ve seen him do that before.” Their kindness and empathy made the contrast even starker. Busy day or not, no customer deserves that tone or uneven treatment. The café looks lovely from the street, but inside the sweetness fades fast. Until the owners find a little calm—and maybe swap a shot of espresso for a moment of meditation—the bitterness will linger longer than the coffee aroma.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Ann Arbor. The food is always amazing! It's just a small space so there isn't always seating inside. Saturday and Sunday mornings can get pretty busy unless you get there right when they open.

Came in with high hopes, even ordered with the same high hopes. Took a bite of the chocolate/raspberry cake and could barely swallow it. I love sweets and will eat a baked good even if it isn’t my favorite, but this just had such terrible flavor I’m not even sure what it was. It didn’t taste like chocolate or raspberry. It was $5 for the slice I got, after having that, I’m glad I didn’t spend $14 on the chocolate mouse cake. Yikes. They have a lot of gluten free baked goods, which I don’t need or care for, but maybe that’s their thing here. I asked if it was gluten free and was told no, it wasn’t, but icky, it wasn’t good. My son got ice cream and he said it was alright. The woman helping us was very nice and helpful.

Decided to pop in and grab some baked goods. Ended up getting a couple scones, cookies, cupcakes, and tarts. Very expensive for the quality and quantity that you get... $40 for a dozen is ridiculous when you actually look at what you're getting. Scones and cookies were dry and stale, and the cookies were super thin and broke apart as we took a bite. The cupcake was super dense and had a very weird flavour for something as simple as vanilla... Not a fan of the flavour of the baked goods there. Heard they're known for ding dongs but didn't end up grabbing one, as it was $5 for a tiny one-bite ding dong. Just an expensive bakery with below average baked goods. Would not recommend or come back.

Service was great, the eating area is quite cramped. The lemon bar was okay, macarons great, but the chocolate cake slice insanely dry.

Went in to get 2 gender reveal cupcakes, which the manager told me previously we could do. Drove a hour from my place to go to this bakery. Daphne was working and said they can’t do that, i said I was told they can and asked if anyone else was working, which they replied that 3 other people were working. I asked to speak to another worker, got ignored 3 times and the 4th time asking, they said no one is working. I’m confused why they are working at a bakery if they can’t put frosting in a cupcake and blatantly lies for no reason. After being ignored the 2nd time, I started recording on the low and will totally send it to their manager if he wants to see the horrible “service” Daphne provides customers.

Great French bakery! Just looking at the variety of pastries you can imagine their flavors. We went there for breakfast and again later for some cakes. The croissants were good but a little pricey. We tried different pastries and the flavors were all good, not exceptional. I was expecting a little more while some combinations were not as appealing as they looked. Still, a very unique pastry shop compared to the others.

Zingerman's Next Door Café, located in Ann Arbor's Kerrytown District, is a charming coffeehouse offering high-quality coffee, tea, pastries, and gelato. The café features Zingerman Bakehouse pastries and carefully crafted coffee drinks. One of their recommended beverages is the Cafe de Olla, a latte with a spicy-sweet syrup made in-house with cinnamon, molasses, brown sugar, and cloves.
Looking for a unique gift for a food lover, or adding to your own enjoyment, this is the location. The deli is a delight , a unique selection of treats. The best part is you are in a historical area of Ann Arbor, established 1982. The staff is the special touch here. Outside eating and inside dine in as well. Zingerman’s Next Door Café is such a delightful spot—tucked inside a charming single-family house-style building, it’s cozy, quirky, and full of character. They specialize in distinctive and creative takes on chocolate, coffee, hot chocolate, and ice cream. I tried the Mayan Eyes hot chocolate—made with dark chocolate and spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, chipotle, and ancho chiles. It’s got a real kick! Spicy but deliciously warming and complex. I also picked up two chocolate bars: one mango chili and one hot paprika. Super excited to try them—Zingerman’s definitely doesn’t play it safe with flavors, and I love that. It’s a fun and flavorful place for anyone who enjoys bold sweets and thoughtful drinks. Highly recommend stopping by!

Good coffee and ice cream. Enjoyed the ginger scone, too, but it wasn't anything special, I'm afraid. But the whole compound is so much fun and very inviting. Staff was excellent. Disappointed that they're not open earlier in the morning since the bagels look like the real deal but I would absolutely come back again!

I’ve often heard about Zingerman’s and just assumed it would be an overhyped place due to the many years of national attention. I was wrong. I got the corn beef since they are known for it. It was the best droid corn beef I’ve ever had. The sandwich was perfect and a solid side for being labeled small. Also got to try Dr Browns cream soda which instantly became my fav! Make sure next time you’re in Ann Arbor to give Zingermans a go!

We added Zingerman’s to our 7 day road trip that included a wedding in Chicago, a family meet-up with relatives from Ontario, and a visit to the fabulous Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, and our 1st visit to Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley. Zing’s was a worthy shrine on the pilgrimage! I wish I took more names, because every team member was exceptional. I had much help and advice on choosing 4 exquisite chocolates from a broad selection of unique flavors. The tiny but charming box of 4 pieces did not disappoint! The same salesperson left the premises to go next door to see if a fresser sized coffee cake was available (yes!) because the coffee shop just had a few of the smaller size. My husband grabbed a cappuccino and a pre-made smoked turkey and honey mustard hoagie/sub on a long roll that he is still talking about. My self-serve house coffee was plenty robust even though tagged as medium roast. In an odd coincidence, both the cream pitcher and the coffee carafe were empty when I went to “pour” my cup. Ryan came to our table, apologized for the empties, and spent several minutes chatting with us. He asked our names and what brought us to Zingerman’s. The banter was enjoyable and we felt lucky that the place wasn’t slammed and we had a chance to engage with staff. And Ryan took a pic of us with my new tie-dye Zing-tee. We missed the deli next door because we needed to get on the road between 10 and 10:30 and the deli was due to open at 11. We hope that our travels bring us back to Ann Arbor and Zingerman’s soon!

WOW!! Amazing that next door was an absolute terrible experience at the sandwich place to getting dessert here! Literally bought a few cupcakes and eclairs and we should of saved our money on the Reuben's and just bought coffee and desserts. Drop dead amazing desserts! Coolest thing ever was the internal elevator with the funky paintings, really cool inside the elevator up to the restrooms for our elderly dad was a huge plus during our visit. He has troubles walking up stairs so it was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you again for a great visit and amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately we are the food so fast we forgot to take pictures. Trust me when I tell you this place is hands down the place to try!

The reubens are always so good here. You order online on a touch screen. You pay at a near by counter. Once you get a text you can pick up your order in the adjoining room. You can eat inside or out. I always like to pick up a loaf of fresh bread to take home. At the counter you can get cheese or cold cuts as well. You can also order side salads and many other sandwich types. There is a house next door where you can also eat your food. I did not go there but usually you can get speciality coffees and dessert.

For the price, I would not recommend the sandwitches. They are OK, but nothing great, just a bad value for your money. I think the place is really overhyped. I had their corn beef sandwitch and can honestly say that any place I have been to in Southfield Mi has better corn beef sandwitches than Zingerman's. The staff is really friendly.

Bakehouse 46 is a popular spot in Ann Arbor, especially during the Art Fair. Visitors have been enjoying their sweet cupcakes and coffee drinks for years. The Plymouth location also offers a variety of donuts with interesting flavors like banana pudding, fruity pebbles, and apple pie. While some wished for fresher treats in the evening, others appreciated the selection and quality of items like chocolate brownies and cookies.
The cupcakes here are delicious and so filling. Some of the flavors change every month so you are always able to try something different. Time and time again when my org has a fundraiser, it's always a success because people enjoy the cupcakes from Bakehouse. So I encourage you to try and you will enjoy them.

Great service but I got the veggie breakfast sandwich and there were massiveeee chunks of onion. I figured this out too late😂 Sandwich would be greatly improved with smaller diced onion or even just replacing with scallion for a more subtle taste. Also, the veggies themselves could use a small sprinkle of seasoning. I got an everything bagel and the sandwich still tasted a bit bland.

Don’t let the frosting trick you -NOT THE SAME- formerly cupcake station the cupcakes replicate the look but are no wear near as good as the former. They are still ok.. but genuinely disappointed that an old favorite seems to be gone. Cute and clean inside, the young lady at the counter was kind.Birthday bummer…

Awesome little bakery. The mini cupcakes where just right and he the spot . Each uniquely flavored and packaged with care. It was pretty busy and I can see why.

Been here many times. The cupcakes are delicious! And I don't even like cupcakes in general. Try the mini ones for the different flavors - I can't get enough. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt.

Ive been here a few times now, and I love this place! Their cupcakes are really good and they have a really great selection. They even have pupcakes, which my dog loves. They have ice cream and doughnuts, but I haven't tried either, though everything looks good. I love that they have mini cupcakes in addition to standard size. It's nice for when you just want a bite of something sweet or you'd like to try a couple different flavors. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is small, but really clean. This is one place I will always hit up whenever I'm in the area.

I wasn’t very impressed with Bakehouse 46. The coffee was just meh and nothing really stood out. The whole experience felt kind of flat and forgettable. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not somewhere I’m in a rush to go back to. Probably a one-and-done for me.

I loved my experience here. The customer service was amazing - and the recommendations were perfect. The drip coffee was pretty good and the cinnamon sugar donuts were perfect. The bagels are made by Barry Bagel - best idea! We loved subscribing and received the 6 donuts with our purchase.

Cakes By Rubina catered a wedding reception in May. The original plan was for a 2021 reception, but it had to be postponed to 2022. Rubina was flexible and accommodating in rescheduling. She provided generous and delicious cake portions for a reasonable price during the takeout cake testing. On the day of the reception, she delivered to downtown Detroit and even included a matching cake stand.
Rubina has made the last three of my daughter’s birthday cakes and they are all so beautifully put together! They tasted amazing as well! I love seeing her artistic take on the themes that we give to her! 💜 The last cake we had was a lemon flavored cake with raspberry flavored frosting and it was so fruity and delicious! I highly recommended it!

Rubina baked our four tier wedding cake this past spring - it was incredible!! Elegant, beautiful, and absolutely delicious! She listened to exactly what we wanted. The crowd loved it so much that we didn’t even get to taste one of the flavors because it was eaten so quickly!! The cake was a focal point for the dinner and a talking point for all of our guests. Their communication and delivery were seamless and we highly recommend them!

Rubina made the cake for our wedding reception in May, and we had a very pleasant experience! We had originally planned for a 2021 reception but unfortunately needed to postpone to 2022, and Rubina was very flexible and easy to work with to reschedule. She was able to put together a takeout cake testing, and the portions were extremely generous and delicious for a reasonable price. On the day of our reception, she delivered to downtown Detroit, and she even provided a cake stand that fit with our theme. We were not too picky with the decorations on our cake and asked her to create what she thought would be best, and the final result was amazing! Rubina wasn't as quick to reply in email as some of our other wedding vendors, but we were overall very pleased with our experience with her!

My (now) wife and I commissioned Rubina for both a simple wedding cake and a spread of cupcakes for our wedding. Prior to our wedding weekend we were able to meet with Rubina in-person to discuss what kinds of flavors and styles we wanted for our special day. We selected a simple set of 6-dozen Triple Chocolate cupcakes and 6-dozen Triple Vanilla cupcakes as general crowd-pleasers (though let this review show that we were quite impressed with other flavors of cupcake too!), and for our wedding cake we ordered a Vanilla layered cake with lemon frosting and lemon curd filling. Rubina was also able to prepare a few vegan and gluten-free options for our guests, which made those with specific dietary restriction feel welcomed as well. Because her bakery is closed on Sundays, she was able to have our cakes prepared the day before the event, and was very helpful in providing detailed instructions in how these cakes ought to be stored and served. We are tremendously grateful that we were able to share her creations with our guests and look forward to getting a birthday cake or two for ourselves with some of her more exciting flavors!

I had the best experience getting a cake from Rubina! It was absolutely gorgeous and delicious and I would come back again and again for any and all cake needs! I got a chocolate mouse cake and it came with beautiful berries and a chocolate collar which was beautifully done! I could not say enough wonderful things about this cake!
Gurleen K — Google review
Rubina and team truly blew us away with the result of the custom cake order we placed. I can hardly believe we got something this amazing! To say we’re happy is an understatement! If you want a “wow” look, this is the place to go.
Bevin G — Google review
This is where I ordered my cake for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Not only was it delicious but the cake was super beautiful as well. Most importantly for us was that she offers gluten free options. The two baked goods I tried when I went in to finalize details with her were also so good. Definitely recommend this place!

We ordered a cake for our engagement party and it turned out great! Rubina responded quickly, was great to work with and knew exactly what we wanted. The cake itself tasted great and looked amazing. We would definitely recommend Cakes By Rubina.
