Also I was waiting to see some planes taking off the airport but none of them left while I was here so that was kinda sad probably because it was Sunday.

One of the best place to enjoy your leisure time in free of charge. People usually come here with their friends, family members and also with their dog for a walk. The scenery was so greenery that I take so many picture there.

I've always wanted to go here, and I'm glad i did. It's a small hill to hike, but still a good place to visit if you want to go on a nature trip. You can either jog uphill or use the steps to go up. I also loved the Mt. Fuji view from here.

Sengenyama is a fantastic little nature reserve. There is a small shrine on the tallest hill which has a long unkempt staircase leading up to it. Alternatively you can walk along the ridge from the other side of the reserve. You can access the Tama cemetery over a bridge from this spot. It is also possible to see Fuji-san on a clear day. In the winter the trees are bare but they come back to life in the spring and are home to many insects and birds. Note that there is limited lighting here, and be careful if you visit following rain, it can get muddy!

Plum festival is outstanding, the park is mostly stroller friendly, many historical buildings to explore and a small playground area, easy 15min walk or so from Fuchu-hommachi station or can take a bus from Bubaigawara or Fuchu Station on the Chuo Line.

I walked to the park from Gotokuji Temple, which was a lovely walk on its own, but I really enjoyed getting to view the blossoms here and see all the other folks out enjoying the park. I don't think it was full plum blossom season, but there were plenty of blooms and places to sit and enjoy the flowers. Some of the trees have QR codes that link to more information about the trees. I also appreciated that they laid down tarp-like paths over certain places.
