Fine dining restaurant
Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina is a high-end steakhouse located on the 34th floor of a Nashville hotel, offering stunning views of the city. The restaurant specializes in expertly prepared traditional steakhouse dishes such as premium beef cuts and unique seafood options, providing an upscale dining experience. Managed by renowned chef Michael Mina, Bourbon Steak boasts a menu featuring signature dishes like truffle mac-and-cheese and Maine lobster pot-pie.
I had the pleasure of dining at Bourbon Steakhouse in Nashville over Labor Day weekend, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. This was my first time visiting, and from start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and elegant—perfect for a special night out. My server, Evan, was outstanding. He was kind, sincere, and attentive throughout the entire evening. He guided me through a full four-course meal with genuine care and professionalism, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The rest of the wait staff was equally gracious and made the entire experience seamless. Each course was prepared beautifully and tasted phenomenal. You could tell the kitchen takes great pride in their craft, as every detail was spot on. Overall, Bourbon Steakhouse delivered an unforgettable evening. Between the impeccable service, welcoming atmosphere, and flawless food, I can confidently say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville.

My wife and I celebrated our 12 year anniversary here. It was also our first time dining at bourbon steak. I must say first and foremost this restaurant far exceeded our expectations! We had an absolute blast! Our waiter (Shawn I believe) was top notch. The food was excellent, the view was excellent. All the waiters signed a “happy anniversary” card for us too! We had the NY strip with the sauce trio (the red wine just was my favorite) it was excellent! The oysters were very good and fresh. My wife had the lobster, it also comes seasoned and is very good. And we had the steak tar tar, it was also very fresh and excellent. More flavor than other steak tar tars! Highly recommend! Thank you bourbon steak!

Bourbon Steak in Nashville absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch—attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is elegant but still comfortable, making it perfect for a special night out. Now, the star of the show: the steak. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor with every bite. You can tell the quality and attention to detail that goes into preparing it. Pair that with their impressive wine list and craft cocktails, and it made for an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re in Nashville and love a great steak, Bourbon Steak is a must-visit.

One of our best dinners…ever. Views from the cocktail bar and restaurant are stunning. Service is impeccable. Creative cocktail menu and extensive Old Fashioned choices. Went with the Blanton’s Gold and then did the Reserve which is smoked and prepared table side. The bacon appetizer was delicious and we also had Duck Fries as lagniappe. We had two filets and the puree potatoes. Our table neighbors got the Lobster pot pie and said it was incredible as well. We should have gotten one filet and the Lobster and split them!!! The staff was friendly and helpful and offered great suggestions for dinner. It is on the pricey end but is worth it!!! For a special evening in Nashville, you can’t go wrong with Bourbon Steak.
Scott B — Google review
We had such a great night at Bourbon Steak! Our server Chad was awesome super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience so smooth. Big thanks to Kevin and Willey for the great service bringing out each course, and to Michael and Emma for stopping by the table to check on us. The food was incredible as always, but it’s the people that make this place stand out. 🫶🏻

Simply amazing! Great steak, delicious Brussels sprouts and the best mac n cheese I’ve ever had in my life! Service was unparalleled to any restaurant out there. We were celebrating our anniversary and it felt like the entire staff knew that before we arrived, a wonderful touch!

My wife and I come here every year while we’re on vacation and this year was something special. Meredith was an absolute delight at the bar keeping the perfect old-fashions flowing. She kept us in stitches along with Anthony’s help, they made our night memorable. Our steaks were perfect, and the sides were delicious, possibly the best meal we’ve had here over the last 10 years. Thank you bourbon for another amazing evening!

We were so excited to have dinner here. Total disappointment. No bread, they serve French fries instead. The wine selection was great. Ceaser salad was topped with panko crumbs, no croutons. The steak was average. The scallop were served hard....Cold baked potato. The French 75 was on point! I won't be back.

Oak Steakhouse, part of the Indigo Road Hospitality group, offers a fresh take on the traditional steakhouse experience. The focus is on high-quality Certified Angus Beef steaks, complemented by locally-sourced ingredients for small plates and sides. The contemporary dining room features glass walls and custom woodwork, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. Open seven days a week for dinner, Oak Steakhouse boasts one of Nashville's best wine bars with an extensive selection of wines from local farmers and suppliers.
I have some very minor things I could complain about, but overall, my dining experience at Oak was phenomenal! We came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and arrived early to have cocktails at the bar. We tried 3 different cocktails, each was very well crafted, presented beautifully, and served with friendliness. When we got to our table, our server Milton was knowledgeable, punctual, subtly funny, and very attentive! We highly recommend requesting him as your server. Literally EVERYTHING we ate was delicious. Hands down the best fine dining restaurant I’ve ever had. Please try this place! 😁💜

Service is what sets this plas apart. Very attentive and well versed on every menu option. Loved Nico. The steaks were cooked as ordered and vey flavorful. Well decorated and romantic ambiance. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I went to Oak last night for my birthday. 10/10 experience! Absolutely loved the food, ambience, and service. This was definitely a splurge for my boyfriend and I as we typically don’t spend so much on a night out but it was well worth it. Highly recommend the filet, peanut butter espresso martini, and truffle Mac and cheese! We will definitely be back when we have another special occasion to celebrate!

My group of eight friends and I had a reservation at Burnon Steakhouse by Michael Mina on top of the Marriott, but it fell through. So, we pivoted and found Oak Steakhouse, and we were glad we did. We called to ask if they required reservations, and they said no, which delighted us. We also asked if they could accommodate a party of eight, and they assured us they would make it work—and they did. We arrived within 10 minutes, and they seated us right away. Dylan was our server, and he was wonderful; the drinks were great, and the food was amazing. I’m gluten intolerant, and they kindly brought me a side of gluten-free bread rolls along with the gluten-containing bread for the rest of the group. One of my friends had an overcooked steak, but they quickly replaced it when it was brought to their attention. Three of the girls in our party had birthdays, and they surprised us with not only three decadent desserts but also with each birthday girl receiving a flute of champagne with a candle on the base. Due to my gluten and dairy intolerance, they also brought me out a dessert of sorbet without prompting. Everyone was incredible and accommodating; we couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much to Kayla and her team!

My wife and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary at The Oak Steakhouse in Nashville, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We began with the meat and cheese board, featuring a phenomenal drunken goat cheese and silky prosciutto - beautifully presented and full of flavor. Our waiter felt more like a culinary tour guide, taking time to walk us through the menu and recommend a perfect wine within our budget. I ordered the filet mignon, cooked and seasoned to perfection, while my wife enjoyed the surf and turf, which she called the best she’s ever had. We finished with the butter cake dessert, which was absolutely out of this world - warm, rich, and perfectly paired with a smooth espresso. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, making it the ideal spot for a special occasion. The Oak Steakhouse exceeded every expectation.

I took my 5yo daughter here for a "Girl Date Night" during our Nashville Vacation and our experience exceeded every expectation! Milton, our server, made sure to treat us like we were VIPs! His attentiveness and accommodations for my little picky princess made the night so special! The food was also incredible, steak cooked to perfection, mile high chocolate cake so decadent. I cannot thank Milton and the staff at Oak Steakhouse - Nashville enough for making our evening one of the most special meals of our trip! Highly recommend!

We celebrated a birthday an Oak Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. The oysters were fresh. Truly a fantastic and delicious celebration.

Everything was wonderful! But NOTHING beats the service provided by the floor manager and EXCEPTIONAL attention and service/entertainment provided by Lindsay! Trust me! If you visit Oak Steakhouse in Nashville- request Lindsay’s section (and taste test the mushrooms before you order them- they are NOT savory! They have vinegar in them!) However-the floor manager has a great sense of humor and tasted them himself after taking them off our bill. He genuinely appreciated the feedback and the mushrooms were NOT bad, but definitely an unexpected, unique taste for mushrooms in a steakhouse. I can’t eat a full wedge salad, but it’s my absolute favorite item on every menu it is on- Lindsay made sure I got to have my fav salad by fixing me a smaller portion. It was 🔥! The Brussels were 🔥! The steak was 🔥! The service was 🔥! The birthday cake was 🔥! Seriously! Who takes a pic with someone they aren’t likely to see again in a restaurant?!? This girl! Why? Because if you eat at Oak and you see this lady on the floor- do what you can to get seated in her section! And order the Brussels!! ❤️ Thank you to everyone at Oak for a wonderful birthday dinner and trip to Nash!

Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse in Nashville is an upscale and stylish dining destination that offers a diverse menu featuring handcrafted steaks, seafood, sushi, salads, burgers, pork, poultry and more. The restaurant's opulent ambiance with chandeliers, Art Deco murals and jeweled-toned seating creates a luxurious setting reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties. Guests can indulge in premium steaks including USDA prime cuts and Japanese A5 wagyu while enjoying the elevated piano bar experience.
Jeff Ruby delivered a wonderful steakhouse experience. The curb appeal of the restaurant welcomes you in to the grand dining room and bar with stage and piano setup. JADA performed vocals while owning the piano and the group On Call ended the night with live music for all to enjoy. All of the staff from the reception folks to the bar were a pleasure to interact with. Specifically, Jermaine, Campbell, Olivia, Kimberly, Benton, Logan, and Beau. I am sure there were others we missed, but each added to our experience uniquely and pleasantly. I am a lover of all things food from the history to the techniques employed to prepare the dishes. The staff is well equipped with the experience and culinary knowledge to ensure the best tasting experience.

A great steakhouse! We celebrated our 26th anniversary dinner here, and it did not disappoint. The service staff were all incredibly friendly, the food was excellent, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was perfect for a special night out. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Jeff Ruby’s and would definitely return! Thanks for the special anniversary dessert 🥰

Joe was an amazing server. We absolutely loved the experience. It was just a casual, weeknight, date night, but a perfect experience. We loved the Music City sushi roll as an appetizer (with extra wasabi), the surf and turf special (added in mushrooms), and a magical piece of carrot cake. It is difficult to get downtown often for dinner but this could be at least a monthly experience. Loved it all.

We had a meal to remember for a lifetime at Jeff Ruby’s Nashville! I took my mom and aunt to celebrate two special birthdays, and it was truly one of the best meals of their lives. Having dined at other Jeff Ruby locations, I knew it would be great, but this experience exceeded even my highest expectations! From the moment we walked in, the gorgeous decor and elegant atmosphere set the tone for a perfect evening. The live piano music created a warm, upscale vibe. The staff worked together flawlessly, offering attentive, friendly service that made us feel like royalty, especially with my mom and aunt wearing their birthday crowns! Every detail was handled with care, from the moment we arrived with valet parking to the sparklers that came out in their birthday desserts, made my mom and aunt smile endlessly! The food was phenomenal, a true feast! Our table shared an incredible variety: a beautifully presented sushi roll, perfectly cooked filets, sole, and sea bass. Even the salads were fantastic, with generous, shareable portions. The cocktails were also top-notch and extra fancy perfect for a 'girls' night out! Everyone at the table couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the evening was-even days later! Jeff Ruby’s Nashville delivered an unforgettable dining experience filled with celebration, flavor, and class! Thank you, Jeff Ruby’s, for making it a night and a meal to remember!!

Good food and service, but nothing really blew us away. We’ve been to other locations and the quality here doesn’t quite compare. The piano bar and live music gave the atmosphere an extra touch which we enjoyed. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any dish we had that was memorable enough to mention, but overall still decent. On the plus side, they will accommodate dietary restrictions with no issues.
Sabrina Z — Google review
Very good place almost perfect in terms of food quality other than a few chewy pieces here and there. The staff fill your drinks for free non alcoholic if they see it empty even halfway which is impressive, and they are overall very friendly from the hostess desk to the servers and busers. My only problem with this place is the price point. Over $200 a person for a chain steakhouse is insane and even a little bit of chewiness in my meal is enough to drop the rating by a star which I had to do due to the price point. If this place was cheaper 5/5 but for the price point over $400 for two people in the Midwest it’s a 4/5. Decent location away from the zoo of people and nice place just very expensive, the wine in my opinion was ridiculously overpriced for regular glasses, $25-30 a glass is just insane to spend on a casual glass of wine, I could buy two bottles for this price of some types of wine. My only other ick was that my ice cream was frozen solid and not normal texture, not a big deal but it was a little bit of an ick to me. I didn’t want to complain since I was celebrating a birthday, but a few small things can add up quickly when you rate a place. Overall, I’m happy with this place, just a little more expensive than I would have hoped, especially considering it’s a chain and not a private restaurant. Go here to try but not cheap enough to go regularly.

We sat at the bar for our last night in Nashville and it gave us all the vibes we were looking for. Jordan and Jermaine were absolutely amazing. They were pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu. We had our wedding dinner in the Jeff Ruby room & the entire night was so amazing! Our server Evan made the night super special for our group and his attention to detail was superb! I've had many friends recommend Jeff Ruby's when looking for a great steakhouse & I could not agree more. Everything from cocktails on the private patio to the wonderful customized menu and beautiful atmosphere, the entire evening was 100% A+.

E3 Chophouse is a sophisticated dining spot offering top-quality meats, seafood, and family-style sides in an upscale two-story setting. The establishment is renowned for its grass-fed beef raised on their own ranch. Visitors can also enjoy the inventive cocktails at the top-floor bar and relax in the rooftop area with firepits and comfortable seating. The venue boasts a well-stocked whiskey selection and provides a classic tavern experience at The Villager Tavern.
Overall a great experience! From the free valet parking to the birthday card and cake for my husband’s birthday, our dinner at E3 was amazing. Our waiter was so friendly and answered all of our questions since it was our first time at the Chophouse. The steak was one of the best I’d ever had. The crab cakes were my favorite dish of the night. We are ready to go back.

1st time to eat here. Business dinner on a Tuesday night. Restaurant was not busy so we had much of the 2nd floor to ourselves. Upon arriving, we grabbed a round of drinks at the bar downstairs. Very hospitable and personable bartender whipped us up our drinks before we were brought to our table. Opened up with crab cakes (Hit!) and pork belly (Miss!) for appetizers. Crab cakes were hearty and fresh. Pork belly was more like country ham and tough rather than the expected tender, thick sugary glazed meat candy. For entree, I went with the 8 oz filet cooked blue. Unfortunately, this was a huge miss. It was delivered more medium well which was frustrating. Rather than waste it, I finished it as the server was doing her best taking care of our rowdy group. For dessert, I went with the crème brûlée which was fair. Along the smaller size portion wise, plating was fair and flavor mediocre. Overall, this would’ve been an average 3.0 stars had it not been for the great service. The bill was quite hefty for the group, but from the laughter and conversations, mission accomplished.

Was excited to be brought here for Happy Hour drinks which turned into dinner. There was free valet which was very convenient. The building consisted of three floors which were accessed by stairs or an elevator. Nice rooftop bar with fire pits. Pros: 1. Service was friendly. 2. The Happy Hour drinks were really good albeit $10 each. I liked the watermelon tequila drink and the lavender gin drink. 3. Women's restroom was well stocked with flossers, Listerine, and mints. 4. They have a nice discounted small steak meal for active duty military and veterans on Monday nights Cons: 1. Prices were very high. I'm not new to finer dining experiences so I'm aware that good food costs a lot. This restaurant took it too far with upcharging, especially considering the next two points. 2. Food was mediocre. 3. Portions were small. I didn't even pay and I'm outraged at what the bill might have looked like. The people were nice and the place was cool, but this restaurant isn't one I'll be trying again.
K — Google review
Just okay. Honestly, they position themselves as fine dining & service driven. However, everything about my experience was lackluster. From our greeting at the door, to our underseasoned and overcooked food & our service throughout the meal. For such an expensive place (we dropped over $300 on 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 entrees, 2 sides & a dessert), everything was mid. If you come by, let it be for a drink or app & enjoy a nice meal elsewhere. You'll be treated better and enjoy a better meal!

We were celebrating our anniversary and our day was complete with our meal at E3 Chophouse! The valet was great. The hostess was great - our table was ready immediately upon arrival. Our server Aani was fantastic! He was very attentive to our needs, very helpful with the menu and to offer suggestions. He never rushed us and knew every item specifically and answered our questions successfully. Our drinks were never empty and he acknowledged our anniversary multiple times. On top of that, the food was wonderful! My wife got the sea bass and went on and on about it. And my steak…oh man was it spot on! So tender and flavorful! It was cooked perfectly! Everything was what we had hoped it would be. I would definitely recommend E3 Chophouse to anyone hungry! Thanks for making our anniversary celebration the best!

First off, Gary was Amazing; the best waiter we've ever had. He was attentive, funny, and genuine. He made the night awesome for our group of six. The food was good, but not great for the price point. My steak had a very nice smoky flavor, but it needed salt and was a bit dry. Others in our group had salmon and sea bass. Again, not bad, but too expensive for minimal wow factor. It is good for a quiet date night or with a large group. Unfortunately, the value was just not there.
SD V — Google review
Very happy with our experience at E3. After eating at a handful of steak houses in Nashville they are definitely at the top of the list. Super friendly staff from start to finish. Great drink menu and variety. All of the food was fantastic. The sides are very generous portion sizes. The steaks cooked wonderfully to everyone preference. Overall 10/10 would strongly recommend. Will definitely be coming back.
Carter R — Google review
It’s a very tasty execution of most of their dishes, though expensive and despite a great experience, not worth that high of a price ($600! with alcohol but no desert). The beef tartar was under seasoned and I don’t think it goes well with greasy chips. Many items on the menu have spicy ingredients and it’s not talked about in detail, which is a shame. The seafood was great, so were the steaks although I wish they arrived warmer and less lukewarm (they waited in the window for a bit too long). I also think they age the steaks and that wasn't mentioned either. Generally, very good food and service but for the price it should have been even better.

The Southern Steak & Oyster is a trendy spot located in the heart of downtown Nashville's SoBro district. It offers an authentically Southern culinary experience with a modern oyster bar and wood-fired grill for locally sourced meats and seafood. Diners can enjoy time-honored dishes prepared from scratch and served with a Southern sensibility, either at the bustling oyster bar or in private high-backed booths.
Absolutely amazing food! Oysters were to die for! Great food and great atmosphere! Only complaint is they should have been transparent that the AC was out. It made for a very hot meal. Still 5 stars tho! Will be back! We also loved the house hot sauce!

This restaurant had been on our radar for three years, and we finally made it here for a birthday meal—it was absolutely worth the wait! We loved all our food and were very satisfied with the portions. The half-rib meal, in particular, was perfectly filling and definitely enough on its own, so we shouldn't have ordered a gumbo side dish. If you go, be mindful that the main portions are generous! Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Five stars for an unforgettable meal! We visited this steak and oyster spot on a whim and ended up blown away. I started with the crab cakes and was thrilled to find out they were *dairy-free*—and still packed with flavor. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and no cream needed. I also had a black cherry cocktail that was dangerously good—sweet, rich, and just strong enough to let you know it's the real deal. We shared a dozen oysters with four different flavor profiles, and every single one was outstanding. Easily the best oysters we've ever had—fresh, briny, and dressed just right. The roasted brussel sprouts deserve their own shoutout—caramelized, a little crispy, and seasoned so well we were fighting over the last few bites. And then there was the full rack of ribs... I barely had to touch them with a fork and the meat fell right off the bone. So tender, so juicy. Total showstopper. Everything we ordered hit the mark. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and food worth coming back for. Add this to your must-try list—you won't regret it.

Came here specifically for the $1 oyster happy hour (3-6). Service was absolutely amazing & the oysters were phenomenal. Thank you so much to the hilarious oyster shucking Sheryl!!! She made my day with her jokes lol. Even gave me some shucking tips to try at home 🤌❤️. Will be back with friends for sure!! (gumbo was also very good)

Not impressed. The woman( not our server ) delivery our food which had items that were medium and medium rare and never said which just set them down. Ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked though and our servicer told us that's how they do it. Well, that's not an eggs Benedict then. We ordered oysters and they never came. We never addressed it to see if it'd be on the check which it wasn't. However we saw the manager and server look at our table several times and pretty sure they deleted them off the check when the server finally realized them never came. It was never addressed or acknowledged. What a joke. NOT WORTH the money. Fresh fish sandwich was bland and dry..clearly not fresh. SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS IN NASHVILLE!

This was an amazing meal. Came here with some coworkers and we shared several appetizers. The oysters were amazing. This shrimp appetizer is so delicious. I ate so many brussel sprouts that I was almost too full to eat my entree. The free biscuits were a great surprise and the drinks were strong and tasty. Even though we had a large group, the food came out very fast and everything came out, correct.

Southern Hospitality at Its Finest! We had an incredible dining experience at The Southern Steak & Oyster in Nashville! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming—perfect for a night out in Music City. Our server, Sam, was outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was just right. The highlight of the meal? The Southern Burger. Made with Bear Creek Beef and topped with lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, bacon, pimento cheese, and crispy fried onions—it was a flavor-packed masterpiece. The sweet potato fries on the side were golden and addictive. If you’re visiting Nashville and want a true taste of Southern flair with top-notch service, this spot is a must. Ask for Sam—you’ll be glad you did!

- Salad: not super fresh, mediocre at best. - Added blackened “catch of the day”: Either from frozen fish, or they completely overcooked it. The fish was “black” alright, but not tender at all; it was super dry and tasted more like burnt than blackened seasoning. - The price: 38.42 dollars, with tips I rounded up to $42. Because this is a “higher-end” place, the salad costs $ 16, and the “blackened” fish is $19, but at this quality? - The service: The waiter was ok. But I went to the restroom took my handbag but left my towel on my seat intentionally, when I got back, they cleaned everything, I couldn’t even identify my table! Not sure how a place like this survives when you have so many choices in Nashville. Oh and, 30 mins after I left the place, stomachaches, had to find an emergency restroom. Not fun. This was my only meal besides some black coffee the whole day.

I came to this location as part of a large dinner party associated with a work conference. We were seated immediately and walked through the restaurant and taken to a large private area in the back. The restaurant was dimly lit with nice furnishings and had a lot of ambiance. As it was a vendor paid dinner, the menu was pre-selected and the appetizers, sides and desserts were already chosen…I got to pick my entree and chose the filet steak. Appetizers brought out were popcorn lobster and cotton candy bacon. Did not try the lobster as I have a shellfish already but had the bacon. The cotton candy topping caramelized to the bacon and added a bit of a sweetness and crisp texture to the meat. A bacon salad and kale salad follows and both were tasty. Side that came out were asparagus and whipped potatoes with also some fried cheese curds. All were fine, nothing outstanding, but they were solid. When the steak came out, it was a little charred on the outside and more of a medium well temperate when I ordered medium. Good flavor and texture, the steak was fine but not great. Desserts that later followed were chocolate chip cookies and banana bread cupcakes. Cookie was nothing better than a good grocery store bakery cookie and the banana bread cupcake was also just ok, not as good as any homemade bread. Overall experience was just ok and for high end steakhouses, I have had much better experiences at many other locations. On my own dime, I would probably not visit this location again based upon this experience.

Outstanding. Our third night in Nashville and finally had a phenomenal dinner and experience! Wendy, our host, was so gracious to move our table to a cozy booth. Dylan, our server, was to notch. All the service and staff was outstanding. They offer a variety of old fashions which were superb. For appetizers, we loved the bacon & popcorn lobster, for dinner, the Ribeye was perfectly cooked, with a hot pepper & popovers, and a side of the potato gratin with cheese. Highly recommended.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was great! The filet was cooked perfectly and the potatoes gratin were delish! My husband loved their rolls. Service was incredible. Everyone was super nice and attentive. They brought us some champagne and a dessert to celebrate our anniversary too! We’d definitely come back. If you’re looking for a nice steak dinner id come here.

We absolutely love Kayne Prime. This was our second visit, and once again, the food was outstanding from start to finish. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. You can really tell how much care and attention goes into every dish that leaves the kitchen. Our server, Brea, was beyond amazing. She was warm, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She also provided a celiac-friendly menu, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the entire dining experience so much easier and stress-free. It is rare to find a restaurant that takes dietary needs this seriously while still offering such an incredible selection of food. We brought our one-year-old along with us, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel completely comfortable dining with a little one. That kind of hospitality really makes all the difference. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, Kayne Prime continues to exceed our expectations every single time. It is one of those places that makes every visit feel special, and we are already looking forward to our next meal there. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates excellent food, exceptional service, and a restaurant that truly cares about its guests.

I had a great time! The servers were all very kind and attentive, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the food was phenominal. We had the seafood platter, popcorn butter lobster, waygu.. all the good stuff. Wow! I mean, for me, it was pretty pricey. Around 70ish for the cheapest steak option and up to several hundred (per 3oz) for Japanese Waygu! That said, if youre looking for a NICE steak house in Nashville .. this is it. Plenty of parking, allergy friendly, nice drinks. 5 stars!

Urban Grub is a stylishly rustic eatery located on 12th Ave, offering an extensive raw bar and serving Southern and seafood specialties. While it's not solely a seafood restaurant, the fresh and flavorful water-based selection is handled by a local butcher who prioritizes quality over quantity. The menu features classic selections like Shrimp & Grits and Seared Scallops, as well as the option to create your own charcuterie board for a chic dining experience without the cleanup.
Food and service were excellent! We went there on a Friday night expecting a wait, but somehow was seated immediately. It was busy and somewhat crowded but not loud and servers were attentive and knowledgeable. We were traveling to Nashville and chose Urban Grub based on location and Google reviews. Very happy with our choice. As with many other reviewers we tried the pork chop and loved it. Had a light smoked flavor w/ some char which I like. Also had the delicious shrimp and grits. Two cocktails, appetizer, two entrees, two sides, and dessert was under $200 w/ tip. We’d go back to try son other dishes next time in Nashville for sure.

Review for July 26th visit. We came in later in the evening. We didn't have a reservation, yet they had seating for us outside. Being seated in the outdoor seating under the fan was a blessing, kept us cool. The oysters and trout were delicious, the scallops and mushrooms as well, and the popovers were so buttery and scrumptious. Both of our cocktails were delicious. Our waiter was attentive and cheerful, made the experience even better. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

My husband took me here for my birthday on a cold rainy October evening. The building itself is very aesthetically pleasing. We were seated semi outside with a couple heaters above us which was wonderful for me (I’m always cold). We didn’t have appetizers but the server brought us some bread and butter with jam. We don’t eat bread as we are on carnivore but I took a small taste. It was light fluffy and flaky but not silt of flavor. Not complaining just giving my opinion. Then he got the full New York strip and I got the special of pan seared halibut with pumpkin pasta and goat cheese. His steak was cooked to perfection the way he likes it (medium rare) , and my halibut was delicious. It didn’t have much flavor alone but eating it with the goat cheese and baby spinach it was great. (Didn’t eat the pasta). All in all it was worth the price and maybe I would’ve raved about it more if I ate a variety of foods. I can’t say I will go back but I also can’t say I won’t go back. Service was ok. She didnt bother us but also wasn’t the most attentive, as we sat with empty glasses for a while.

My husband and I came to Nashville to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and decided to come here for dinner, and I’m so glad we did! It was BY FAR the best food we had during our trip in Nashville and one of the best meals we’ve ever had, period. Every part of the meal was 5 star and I would come back to eat here again if I am ever in the Nashville area. Our server brought us champagne because it was our anniversary, which was just a lovely way to start off the meal. He gave us a wonderful recommendation on the oysters to get as an appetizer; they were the perfect start to a delicious meal. Then I got the shrimp and grits and my husband got the pork chop, along with fries and asparagus for his sides. I did not know a pork chop could be so good. I added the andouille sausage to my shrimp and grits and I’m so glad I did, it was delicious and smoky and added just the perfect balance to the delicious creamy, cheesy grits (the best grits I’ve ever had). I didn’t want to stop eating those grits they were so good, but I had to because I just couldn’t fit another bite into my stomach. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants, including Michelin star rated ones, and this meal is one of my top meals. I highly recommend trying this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Our group of five had an unforgettable experience at Urban Grub in Nashville! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the trendy, welcoming vibe and lively atmosphere. It’s clear why this spot is so popular — it hits the perfect balance of upscale and relaxed. We started our evening at the charcuterie and oyster bar, which was the perfect kickoff. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the drinks were top-notch. The attention to detail and quality in the small bites and beverages alone set the tone for a great night. Once seated in the dining area, we ordered a variety of dishes that absolutely delivered on flavor and presentation. Two of us had the shrimp and grits — creamy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with Southern charm. One ordered the Springer Mountain all-natural chicken, which was juicy, tender, and beautifully plated. The two Club Carbonara dishes were a hit as well — rich, savory, and satisfying without being too heavy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and every course arrived in perfect rhythm. Urban Grub is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a stylish setting. Whether you’re local or just visiting, this spot should be on your Nashville dining

We were here celebrating a couple of birthdays and were not disappointed by the food, the service and the atmosphere. All were excellent! Our waitress Arielle was so good and her recommendations were on the money. The pork chop, shrimp & gouda grits and yes their Andouie sausage are fabulous! This is an upscale restaurant but it's relaxed and welcoming! We'll be back again.

Sperry's Belle Meade is a classic steakhouse that has been a staple in West Nashville since 1974. The restaurant boasts a cozy, tavern-like atmosphere with stained glass windows, carpeting, and a stone fireplace. It is adorned with portraits of the hounds and horses from the neighboring Belle Meade Mansion. Guests can enjoy martinis and Manhattans alongside delectable steaks and seafood dishes such as filet Oskar and king crab legs with drawn butter.
Everything was outstanding from the warm welcoming as we entered to the sincerely delivered “thank you for coming” as we left, could not have been better. It was a fantastic dining experience, our server “Uncle Joe” was a true professional who, along with the entire server team proved to be well trained in guest satisfaction. Obviously, those attributes only enhanced the meticulously prepared food which tasted amazing (compliments to the Chef/kitchen crew). We live in Florida but will certainly make another dining experience here on our next trip to Nashville. Thank you to the entire staff for exceeding our expectations and providing a memorable evening for my wife and me!

This is clearly a historical restaurant that makes of tradition its main selling point, and they do a great job at it. From the dress code to the waiter's style, everything feels like you're in the 1930s or 40s. The salad bar is fun, and if you like dressings you're going to have a great time. The Sperry's Secret Sauce is incredible, kind of a play on a thickened au jus. The main reason for downgrading them on food is that they overcooked my steak. I had the steak frites (tenderloin tails) and asked for medium rare. Once they came, only one of the three pieces was even remotely pink, the other two were solid brown. That's just not ok for a steakhouse, where attention to meat should be their number one priority. Moral of the story: if you're going for the aesthetics, it's great; as a steakhouse, there's much better options.

After hearing about Sperry’s daily on 102.5 ads since moving to Nashville 13 years ago, we finally made the visit for a birthday celebration. Why did we wait so long?! Everything was just as we hoped from the excellent service, delicious salad bar, quality steaks, and mouthwatering desserts. You will need a reservation and be mindful of the dress code. We will definitely be back soon!

We went specifically for the king crab legs, and they did not disappoint. Usually King Crab is either small or just feels "old". This was neither. Some of the best king crab I've had outside of Alaska. The crab cakes were also great. Great texture (lump crab) and great flavor. The salad bar was nice with a decent amount of options. Everything else was just good, not amazing. The restaurant itself was an older style, and it felt a little cramped inside. I especially noticed when going to and from said salad bar.

Amazing birthday experience! Food was excellent (I had the 8oz filet mignon), everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The desserts were of the best we’ve had while dining out (our table ordered the carrot cake and the espresso brownie). Scott, our sever, was phenomenal. He was very attentive, explained everything on the menu well, and gave great recommendations. The host even came by and took our picture and printed it there. This was our first dining experience here with many more to come!

We had an amazing dinner for my birthday, food and service were phenomenal. I don’t typically drink California wine but the Sperry’s Cabernet was very good and a good price for a bottle as well. Can’t wait to return and found a new spot to purchase gift cards for gifts.

Nestled in the iconic L&C Tower, Deacon's New South is a contemporary steakhouse that beautifully marries Southern flavors with modern culinary techniques. This locally owned gem from A. Marshall Hospitality has quickly become a favorite among both locals and visitors for its exceptional service and high-quality offerings. The restaurant features an impressive dry-aging facility, ensuring that their premium steaks are aged to perfection right on-site.
Warm spinach salad with a 22 oz bone in ribeye was top notch. The cocktails were excellent and all of the wait staff were so attentive. Definitely a great find in Nashville!

We were very excited for our first visit Deacons as we saw a local food review with very positive results. Our food though, wasn’t even good for an Olive Garde. Pasta undercooked, Chicken was tough as if it was fast defrosted, collard greens were overcooked and over seasoned BUT the cornbread and crab cake was delicious. I wasn’t brave enough to pay for the dry aged steak, I did want to taste it, but the smallest cut was still $78. I’m glad now, based on the other items…I’d probably be disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It was a great and friendly service, great atmosphere.

A great way to end a day with your coworkers. Pulling the name out of the hat and got an amazing restaurant. Having a meal that has been elevated to a new level. Flavorful, with a little kick of spice, which makes it perfectly seasoned. The cornbread is amazing. Highly recommend you get that even as a starter, too some home for later as well. If you like devil eggs, you will love Deacon's take on them. Have a cocktail go outside your comfort zone, you will be happy you did. Don't forget about dessert, even if you take it to go. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. In my opinion cozy. Super glad I had the opportunity to have a fabulous meal here. The staff is amazing as well. Nice and pleasant welcoming you in, like family.

Visited with some coworkers for a celebratory dinner… The positives: Deacon’s cornbread appetizer. Highly recommend The negatives: The 1hr+ wait for our food. The mushrooms which tasted like straight wine - not what I want when I order mushrooms. The Mac n cheese which had zero cheese or flavor?? It was pasta noodles with a dash of butter. The undercooked steaks (everyone’s was undercooked based on how they were ordered) The bland carrots. Overall, when we spent $1000+ for our party of 6 to have dinner, I expected better. Very disappointed and I will not be returning

We are tourists who stumbled upon this happy hour and we only too happy to enjoy a few plates and a couple of wines in beautiful stemware to escape 93f weather…. Until we got to the front door. Restaurant manager ( owner?) looked us up and down, as if he was deciding at 4.45pm whether we looked good enough to enter this restaurant bar. Literally wearing a dress with white Nike sneakers, so hardly looking homeless. Quickly waved us to the top bar, where several staff weren’t doing much and we seated ourselves and asked to see a happy hour and bar plate menu. Bar person couldn’t find either, off he went to look elsewhere. We ordered a couple of wines and a couple of plates and by then, 15 staff were on, none doing much but all circling around the restaurant and bar. It was terribly uncomfortable and not the relaxing experience we had hoped for. We left, guy still standing behind his podium at the front door, clearly relieved that we were going. This guy has no idea of our real lives outside of our holiday and being in the wine and hospitality industry myself, your judgement and service was shameful. You should never judge a book by its cover. Asparagus spears were a 3, everything else a 1 star

My third time visiting and overall my wife and I had a very nice dinner experience. The service and atmosphere was fantastic. However, the menu changes are quite disappointing. My first time there was April 2019 and they had an amazing 16oz NY Strip for $36. It was cooked perfectly with a nice char/seared crust. That has been removed so I chose the 20oz Kansas City Strip for a whopping $78 unfortunately with no sear/crust, just regular grill. Was it good? Yes. Was it worth what I paid for it and would I get it again, no. I understand prices increase but not double for a steak that's not prepared as well as one that cost half the price 6 years ago. Bring back the prior menu selections and your method of preparing the steaks.

You cannot go wrong with anything you order. There’s a little bit of something for everyone on the menu. Attentive service (I’m pretty sure the manager, kitchen manager and someone else came to check on us - not because we had issues….but because that’s the level of service they provide). Italian restaurant
Carne Mare, an Italian steakhouse originally from NYC, has found a new home in Nashville. The restaurant offers a captivating culinary experience with chefs cooking meat, fish, and vegetables over an open flame in the open kitchen. Guests can choose to sit at the bar for a more intimate setting or opt for clubby leather booths with a view of the kitchen action.
My whole family and I had an absolute blast at dinner here. The ambiance was great, waiter was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Great service. The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone in our party loved what they ordered. We all tried each others dishes and we all decided a few that really stood out: Spicy lobster pasta Dover Sole Prime Rib However, like I said before everything was great. Thank you Carne Mare for a great evening. Keep up the great work and don’t change anything!
Jake R — Google review
We dined at Carne Mare last night to celebrate my friend’s birthday with a party of seven. Everyone ordered appetizers, entrées, and drinks, and while the service was excellent—our server was friendly and attentive—the food left much to be desired. Given that the restaurant averages about $100 per person, which places it in a higher price range, we expected a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. We ordered a variety of dishes, including two ribeyes, halibut, three Bolognese rigatoni, a spicy lobster pasta, and several so-called "shareable" sides: twice-baked potatoes, Brussels sprouts, broccolini, Caesar salad, and rustic potatoes. The ribeyes were overcooked and poorly seasoned, although in the photo you see blood, that just means the steak was not rested after cooking. The Bolognese rigatoni was disappointing, the Parmesan foam intended to enhance the dish was watery and unnecessary, and the Bolognese sauce itself was too thin, lacking the rich, hearty consistency one would expect. The spicy lobster pasta was also bland and lacked any real flavor. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, caramel gelato, and apple crostata. However, the overall consensus was that the best thing we ate all evening was the complimentary bread. At this point, we joked that the bread maker might be better off as the head chef. Overall, the food was underwhelming and not worth the price. We were expecting flavorful, well-executed dishes, but instead, we were left with a meal that didn’t justify the cost. It’s a shame, given the high expectations set by the price point.
Dahian M — Google review
We’d heard great things about this restaurant’s steak and prime rib, so we made a reservation about a week in advance for our birthday celebration. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. on a Friday, just as the evening was getting started. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and we were seated at a cozy corner table with a touch of privacy — a perfect spot for a special night. Food and Drinks: Garlic Butter Bread (complimentary): The moment it arrived, the garlicky aroma hit us — absolutely irresistible. The bread was buttery and fluffy inside with a lightly crisp crust, topped with a sprinkle of sea salt that added texture and flavor. The parsley gave it a nice finishing touch. Simple but so good. Prosecco: Light, crisp, and full of bubbles — a refreshing start to the meal. My wife loved it. Rosé: Smooth, bright, and refreshing — my kind of champagne. Prime Rib “Carne Marne” King Cut (16 oz, medium rare): Juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. The marbling gave it great texture — soft and slightly chewy in the best way. The roasted exterior added a bit of charred flavor, and the creamy horseradish mustard sauce tied everything together beautifully with a hint of acidity. Easily one of the highlights of the night. Spanish Octopus: Beautiful presentation with colorful ingredients. The thinly sliced octopus was tender and melt-in-your-mouth soft. The olives brought a touch of bitterness, the sliced sausage added savoriness and texture, and the sweet drop peppers gave a burst of sweetness and acidity. The octopus flavor was slightly subtle compared to the other ingredients, but overall, the dish was well-balanced and satisfying. Gelato: A thoughtful birthday surprise from the restaurant — smooth, creamy, and delicious. A lovely way to end the meal. All in all, we had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed every dish. The food, drinks, and service all made it feel special. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a cozy spot to celebrate an occasion or enjoy a great steak dinner.

We found this place and set up a reservation. The drinks are good. My wife had a mixed drink, and I had a bourbon. The Ceasar salad was great, and then we did the Tomahawk Steak for two. It was cooked perfectly, and the bone marrow was a great combination. Our server Derrick was amazing, along with the rest of the staff. All of our needs were looked after and not disappointed. The rolls they serve with dinner were soft and delicious. But dessert was the topper. We had this marshmallow topped Italian gelato ice cream cake. They light a liquor and set a fire to toast the topping. What a great time and we will be back again.

We ordered ribeye medium rare. They brought out the New York strip and it taste like rotten meat. Like the cow died a year ago. The waiter apologized for the mess up and gave us free shots , but I don’t drink alcohol. Worse part other than the rotten taste of dead steak was they fully charged us for the steak. Best way to impress girls at dinner is with a terrible steak house.

Second time visiting & it was just as good as the first time! Love their pasta options here and it was cool to learn they switch it up a bit so you get to try something new if you visit Nashville every 3-6 months.

I ate here the night before leaving on a business trip (stayed at the W), and decided to sit at the bar as I tend to prefer it for dining experiences; it allows for more consistent banter with staff/bartenders. It was a Wednesday night and very quiet, and I really liked the darker environment and intimate spaces in/around the bar area. Sammy at the Living Room bar (another person who made my experience quite special, in Nashville) was able to pass my name ahead to the hostess, Victoria - she was amazing - so I would be able to get a seat at the bar without an issue. My bartender, Jennice, was fantastic; she made great recommendations (I got the gorgonzola-aged wagyu, which is some of the best wagyu I've ever had) and was hilarious. It's always nice to have genuinely candid conversations with staff in upscale restaurants - which is another reason I prefer sitting at the bar in places like this. Oh, and the bread is some of the best food I've ever had, in general; Jennice even put some in a to-go container that I was able to stuff into my carry-on, for my trip home (my wife loved it). I would definitely recommend eating here, for all of the above reasons, and then some.

Bob's Steak & Chop House is a Texas-born chain located in the heart of downtown Nashville, offering generous portions and a classy atmosphere. The nationally-renowned steakhouse takes pride in serving only the best corn-fed prime beef from the Midwest, expertly prepared to perfection. In addition to incredible cuts of meat, they offer giant prawns, fabulous salads, indulgent desserts, classic side dishes like lobster mac & cheese, and an extensive international wine selection.
Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great drinks. Great experience. There is plenty of options for all dietary needs or restrictions. Fully stocked bar with lengthy wine selections Beautiful decorated The restaurant is situated in the Omni hotel. Appropriate clothing is required. (No bikinis or tank tops please) You already know how expensive parking is anywhere downtown so do ask. A visit here will run you 50-100$ per person minimum. Every dish we had was amazing!! From the presentation to the flavors. I do recommend reservations if you have a party of four or more. A must visit. Will definitely return. I recommend.

Classic dark steakhouse vibe inside the Omni. Bob’s and Omni both started in Dallas, which explains why a lot of Omnis have a Bob’s inside. Sat at the bar — great service. Filet was good but not great — mine had some gristle you don’t expect at this level, but no one else at the table had complaints. Béarnaise sauce helped. Skillet fried potatoes were tasty but heavier than needed. Overall, a solid pick if you want the traditional steakhouse experience without leaving downtown

This was our second visit in a few months. We travel the country and eat some of the best steaks offered. Bob’s is in the top 5……why? Oysters Rockefeller!!! We end up ordered a second round. They are to die for and you will not have them anywhere this good. The steaks themselves are tender and cooked spot on. Always high quality beef. Mashed potatoes are too good…..stomach hurt but I kept eating them. Creamed spinach is amazing (the basis of the Oyster Rockefeller) and we put it on everything. Will be back again soon!

Austin was personable, honest, and provided great conversation at the bar. I ordered an old fashioned, the Caesar salad, and the trio which included the filet, two grilled shrimp, and a crab cake. The food was all fantastic but what made my visit memorable was Austin. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he offered great recommendations not only for the drinks and food but places to visit downtown. We were able to talk about music, sports, and even the weather. All the best restaurants in the country should hope they have an Austin.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was delicious. Shelton was our waiter and he was very knowledgeable on the history of the restaurant. I do wish the pickles weren’t wasted at the end of the night if they aren’t all eaten as they are very good but a lot to eat when you’re saving room for steak and sides!

Outstanding service. Perfectly grilled ribeye. The pan fried smothered potatoes were a treat. Staff very attentive. Don't hesitate to dine here.
Bad D — Google review
Went here on a date night with my wife. First let me say the service all the way around was truly fantastic. Our server was very attentive as well as the support staff. Now to the food. Our favorites were the skillet potatoes, salads, lobster mac and cheese, carrot cake and the bread. We both got steaks (mine a 12oz prime filet and my wife the 16 oz. prime ribeye). What should have been the star of the dinner finished a distant 6th of our favorites that night. I ordered my filet medium and came out medium well. The steak actually had a charred/ burnt crust on it that totally took away from the steak itself. My wife liked her ribeye but said she probably would not order it again. For $74 per steak we expected higher considering the reputation of the restaurant. I am hoping that the cook had an off night as it was busy but somebody in the kitchen should do a better quality check before letting the food go out. All being said we were not totally disappointed in our experience but glad we tried Bob’s and while in Nashville will have to try other steak places in the area.
Glenn P — Google review
The steaks are huge. They are also bland and not nearly as tender as some of the other steakhouse in Nashville. Meal came with a massive carrot that was severely under cooked. Potatoes were great. The wait staff were amazing, great sense of humor and entertaining. Also very quick to check if you needed anything or refill the water (or beer). I wasn't impressed and there are better steakhouse in Nashville.

Nestled in a charming historic mansion in Midtown Nashville, Jimmy Kelly’s Steakhouse has been delighting diners since 1934. This family-run establishment prides itself on serving exceptional steaks and generous portions of whiskey, all while maintaining the warm ambiance that makes it perfect for romantic dinners or special celebrations. The menu features not only mouthwatering beef but also delectable fish options, complemented by their famous corncakes served with every meal.
I hosted a business dinner for more than 20 people on a Wednesday night, and we were in the patio. We had a terrific time, and and I truly have only compliments. We had a group dining menu, and there were plenty of selections so each guest had lots to choose from. The service was prompt and professional. The food preparation and presentation was exceptional, and the pace and timing was what I had hoped for. Thank you Jimmy Kelly's, and hope to be back soon!

If you’re in Nashville and want a great steak with a unique atmosphere this is the place! The food was great but the service was outstanding. Brian was our waiter and his knowledge of the menu and friendliness made our experience even better. Not to mention they have extensive gluten free options. My husband’s steak was over cooked and they corrected his order immediately and offered a dessert on them. Our steaks were amazing and the sides are enough to feed a small army. We will definitely be coming back when we get back to Nashville.

We came here for our 32nd anniversary. The valet quickly took care of our vehicle. The hostess greeted warmly when we entered and wished us a Happy Anniversary. They escorted us to our table right away. Our room did not have any other guests and we felt like we had our own private dining area. Our server was very polite, answered our questions and provided suggestions. We split a Caesar Salad which they divided onto two plates for us. My wife had the 8-ounce Filet Mignon with the Roasted Garlic Butter sauce and it was prepared just the way she wanted it. I had the 22-ounce Cowboy Steak with the Brandy Peppercorn sauce and it did not disappoint. We split the Creamed Corn Brulée. They provided us with JK Seasonal Cheesecake to go, and it was delicious. I also enjoyed the Kelly’s Classic Old Fashioned and my wife enjoyed the house wines. Overall, we really enjoyed our evening with Jimmy Kelly’s.

After living here for 3 years we finally made it to Jimmy Kelly’s to celebrate our anniversary. Definitely a 5 star dining experience! Our server Lauren took incredible care of us & started the evening off with offering us some champagne for our special night. The bacon wrapped scallops were phenomenal. My husband got the wagu steak & it melted in his mouth. My steak was sadly overcooked (asked for med. rare) but our server & the manager took care of it immediately & a fresh steak was sent out soon after. Sides were delish, we got the brussel sprouts and the Mac n cheese was our fave! Carrot cake for dessert was tasty too. They are truly a classy steakhouse & in Jimmy Kelly fashion, ensuring you get a damn good steak & a generous pour of bourbon. We will most certainly be back again!

We were given a nice surprise for our event. The food was delicious. It is an expensive dinner. It is the oldest establishment in Nashville still open at 91 years old. The service was great! They have valet parking.

Jimmy Kelly’s Steakhouse has established itself as an unwavering standard of excellence in dining. It had been 8 years since we last visited and I can honestly say the experience was even better than my nostalgia remembered. The bone-in filet was phenomenal! Skillet corn, 🔥! Kelly potatoes, delicious! The cornmeal cakes, well, let’s just say it was a testament to my willpower that I’m not still at that table eating my 1,458th one lightly spread with butter. Now the service… Karla was amazing. Quick and attentive, caring for our every need while being knowledgeable and entertaining. 10/10 , ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, next time I’m in Nashville, I am here.

A 91 year old secret amongst medical office space! The BEST Ribeye we have ever had and we’ve tried them all. Bootlegger Ribeye had the perfect flavor, perfect temperature and no UN rendered fat. The most tender ribeye- comparable to the filet in tenderness! Carter was a great server the only thing that could have improved was the bread and butter a little sooner. Great wine selection, extensive whiskey and bourbon selection and a delectable desert in the blackberry cobbler- just a hint of sweet. The mansion had a great vibe, stepping back in a timeless tradition. When you are in Nashville, get off Broadway deep into the interior for this gem!

Coy was truly the best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant, let alone a high-end one like Eddie V’s. From the moment we sat down, he made me feel so special. He was incredibly thoughtful, attentive to every detail, His warmth, genuine joy, and constant smile lit up the room. He went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner unforgettable. I could feel how much he cared, and that kind of thoughtfulness is rare. I left not just full, but emotionally full. I’m so deeply grateful for the way Coy made that night magical. I’ll never forget it.

The waitress who took care of us and the waiter who filled our water was excellent and wonderful and kind to our party of 5. I wish I could remember their names. Who served us though was a Nubian Queen and a Younger Blond Guy. They were very accommodating and effortless. Anyway , the food tastes pretty good. My favorite is the appetizer : crab cake and tacos
Aurora M — Google review
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. From the time we walked in the door, it was excellent. Everyone had a smile on their face, as if they enjoyed working there. When we arrived at our table, we were greeted by a happy anniversary card and rose petals scattered about on the table. Our waiter(Kasey)took his time to explain everything to us. When our food arrived, it looked outstanding and tasted even better. My wife had the lamb chops and asparagus, I had the salmon and mac and cheese, again everything was perfect. For desert was prepared by the chef for our anniversary bananas foster style butter cake, and raspberry sorbet, vanilla ice-cream and a in-house made chocolate sauce over a small piece of chocolate cake. Two small in house made chocolate cookies infused with 151 rum. Talk about opening up your sinuses, the vapor from the rum, and chocolate was unexpected. But tasted great. Set on a plate that said Happy Anniversary! We were treated like we were a true VIP. The previous reviews are if 5 stars are true. ANYTHING less is just not true. We will definitely be back !!! 5☆

All-around positive dining experience. Ordered the calamari appetizer, shrimp, and salmon - all were excellent. Cant forget about the lobster mashed potatoes - arguably the best mashed potatoes we had ever eaten. Our server was wonderful. Very attentive and the atmosphere is elegant, but also welcoming. Bathrooms are 10/10 too.

I wish I had the time to take more photos but there was a family emergency. The service and wine selection were excellent The food from the lobster tacos, wedge salad(2 slices of bacon on side) and steaks were all cooked to perfection. I usually have my black and blue steak overcooked but not last night! Excellent job chef! The atmosphere is a bit loud but we were upstairs so that was a plus. I highly recommend for a night out that is nice

The Palm in Nashville is a renowned high-end steakhouse and seafood restaurant, part of a storied chain with numerous locations across the country. It's a popular spot for celebrities, especially those attending events at nearby venues like Ryman Auditorium and Bridgestone Arena. The elegant atmosphere and diverse wine selection make it stand out among other must-visit steakhouses in Nashville.
We recently held a team dinner at The Palm, Nashville while attending a conference downtown, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Southern hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel welcome. The food was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked steaks, fresh seafood, and delicious sides that had the entire table raving. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The cocktails and wine selection were equally impressive, offering something for every palate and pairing seamlessly with our meals. What truly set the evening apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. They anticipated our needs, ensured every guest was taken care of, and helped create a relaxed, enjoyable environment that allowed our team to unwind and connect. If you’re in downtown Nashville and looking for a top-tier dining experience—whether for a special occasion, a professional dinner, or simply a night out—The Palm is a must-visit. It made our team dinner a memorable highlight of the trip!

This restaurant is phenomenal. The decor here is very interesting with hand painted portraits and famous signatures. The restaurant was very loud, definitely not a quite date night spot. The menu is incredible. Everything sounded amazing. We did try A LOT. Apps: Meatball- very good. Enough for a few to share. Shrimp cocktail- 4 huge shrimp. Seared Tuna- our table finished this very quickly. Delicious Carpaccio- finly cut tender and flavorful. Although a huge plate full, we could have eaten more! Meals- most of our table got different cuts of meat. Tomahawk- very good, cut tableside. Filet + Ribeye- rated highly at the table but the filet wasnt as tender as expected. *cowboy butter is VERY salty* Veal parm- bigger than the Tomahawk! This is like 40oz of cheesy Veal goodness. Definitely shareable Desserts- portions are massive! Chocolate cake- to die for Carrot cake- not too sweet. Very good Mini donuts- very filling. Bonus- we had an amazing waiter that was patient with our big group.. his attentiveness, knowledge, and professionalism was the best ive seen in a while. Highly recommend

The food was amazing. One of the best steaks I've ever had. If you like truffles I recommend getting the add-on with your steak. Even the side salad was fantastic. Worth the hefty penny. There was a big drunk party sitting next to us (we were also a large party) in the center of the room. My coworkers said a couple of the other people were actors and a fight had ensued between them and the very intoxicated, loud women. My back was turned and I was in happy bliss over my well made cocktail and food to be honest, so no more details to spare... plus the staff quickly rushed them out of there so fast, I barely noticed. Very impressed.
Deanne P — Google review
Hate to be writing this review, but this location has gone down in quality fast. The service was awesome, but that was the only reason I can’t go with one star here. The location was completely empty on a weekend & that speaks to the meal we had. The Palm has been a restaurant we have frequented for many years, but this time was a big disappointment. Food was dull & lifeless. Every bite that looked amazing, was flavorless and oozing mediocrity. The majority of our food was also served cold. I had a great server, but will not be back for the food alone. I hope they get this turned around fast.
Chef C — Google review
We used the private space with a limited, pre selected menu. This was for a cybersecurity AI discussion. The space was great, the servers were all polite and very hospitable. The steak was great!!

From start to finish, my experience at The Palm Nashville was nothing short of spectacular. Our amazing waiter, Spenser, made the evening feel extra special - attentive, knowledgeable, and effortlessly charming. We kicked things off sharing a perfectly crisp Caesar salad, then I indulged in the phenomenal seared sea bass - perfectly cooked, delicate & bursting with flavor. My guy went for the penne alla vodka with pancetta, which was rich, comforting, and absolutely satisfying. We couldn’t resist sharing the lobster mac and cheese, which was indulgent, creamy, and decadently cheesy - a true showstopper. To finish, we treated ourselves to the classic tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. From the food to the ambiance to Spenser’s impeccable service, The Palm Nashville is an absolute must for anyone looking for a luxurious dining experience in Music City. I’ll definitely be back - it’s that good. 🥂✨

Another great dinner at the Palm, our waitress was fantastic and all of the staff were so attentive and helpful. I tried their limited time Valentine's Drink and it was delicious! The three cheese au gratin potatoes were so tasty, with the perfect consistency. Our steak and lamb chops were cooked to perfection.

Had an incredible dining experience at The Palm in Nashville. Started with the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavorful. For the main course, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked filet mignon, cooked to a perfect medium rare, with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. The dish was delicious and well-prepared. The cocktail I had was spot-on and complemented the meal perfectly. To top it off, I indulged in the cannoli for dessert, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The ambiance was sophisticated and the staff were attentive and friendly. The walls are adorned with cool signatures from so many famous people, adding a unique and stylish touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend for a memorable meal!

Don’t even think about going to Tennessee without eating something smoked, grilled, or barbecued. You’ll risk getting condemned, arrested, or revoked from ever stepping foot in the state again. That’s how serious it is. I tried a few spots during our time in Nashville, but when I walked into Stoney River Steakhouse, I knew we were about to show folks what it really looks like to eat good and live better. It started the moment I walked in, fedora on my head, white sport coat clean, my wife Angel on one arm, and my cousin on the other. We didn’t come to play. We came to show what southern dining looks like when class meets comfort and flavor meets finesse. Stoney River gave us all of that — and then some. Look at the picture — that cowboy steak was huge, but when I was done, it looked like a chicken bone on my plate. They knew what they were doing with that cut. The smoke, the sear, the tenderness? That was a flavor sermon, and I sat through the whole thing. And the service? Let’s just say I was nodding “yes” so much that I was giving the thumbs up to staff and guests who didn’t even work there. They all wore black, so that was not my fault. The atmosphere, the vibe, the food, and the service were all locked in. Nashville brought the hospitality, and Stoney River delivered the experience. I’m definitely coming back. This wasn’t just a meal. It was a memory.

Now gracing Nashville's Church Street, just a stone's throw from the Tennessee State Capitol, this upscale steakhouse offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for indulging in prime-aged beef and delectable seafood.
Went to Morton’s for our anniversary. We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the cocktails were outstanding, and Alyssa’s service was top notch. They even printed us menus for our anniversary, such a small but impactful touch! Thank you!

How can you say the best experience with food and fine dining that I've experienced in a while. It was VERY EXPENSIVE. Our bill with drinks and tip was close to $350. This is definitely not an every night outing, but we were there to experience Nashville and treat ourselves so it was worth it. The bartenders worked hand in hand together, we never wanted for anything. The food was fantasy like. I mean literally melts in your mouth. You pay for the atmosphere, the attention, the food quality, and high quality, top tier beer, wine, and spirits. Thanks Mortons and staff!..

Traditional Morton's experience. Arrive from mid to deep South to find one. Have perfect gimlets, lobster bisque and wagyu meatballs, all at a bar table. Can't beat food, atmosphere, service, etc., within the radius of the next Morton's.

My wife and I stopped by Mortons one evening as a backup option when we couldn't secure a reservation at another local steakhouse. We are glad we did. Mortons is a national chain but sometimes you forget how solid they always are. I had the Cajun ribeye. My wife had the petite filet. Both steaks were perfect. Our server and the staff were fantastic.

DOGS AT THE BAR!!! Came for happy hour and abruptly ended my dining experience due to people having their dog at the bar. The manager and the bartender were not concerned, even brushed off my informing them of said dog. The manager dismissed my concerns, stating that if the animal was in a carrier (it was not, it was in a womans lap), if it was a service animal (it was not because it was barking loudly and didn’t have service dog signage or harness) or if they had papers that it was okay. I’ve never been at a “fine dining” establishment that required a dress code with animals at the bar. Disgusting. Unsanitary. This happened on Oct 12 @ approx 5-5:45 pm. I will be contacting TN DEPT of HEALTH & any other pertinent members in hopes that they review not only potential surveillance footage but also my footage. I won’t be back and I don’t recommend anyone else go because there may be dogs sitting by you for your steak dinner.

Exceptional Dinner Dining Experience with a Few Small Hiccups Our first visit to this restaurant with friends was a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff—from the valet to the restaurant team—were warm and welcoming, making us feel like family. The atmosphere was upscale yet inviting, and everything was exceptionally clean. The food was truly outstanding. Initially, I expected it to be just another overpriced, trendy spot, but I was completely wrong. The quality of the ingredients and the generous portion sizes justified the pricing. At a minimum, you can expect to spend $100–$150 per person**, and that’s without extra drinks or desserts. If you indulge in both, your total will likely be closer to $200–$250 per person**. Steaks range from $55 to $150 each, sides are about $15 each, and seafood, chicken, and crab cakes are priced around $40-$50 per entrée. At the Nashville location, they offer a few more affordable options, including a **cheeseburger, steak sandwich, and chicken sandwich** for under $20, all served with fries (chips). For appetizers, our table ordered **calamari and crab cakes. The calamari was cooked to perfection—light, crispy, and not rubbery or chewy like some places. Unfortunately, the crab cakes were cold in the middle, which was a disappointment, though the person who ordered them chose not to say anything. For the main course, I had the Ribeye with cremini mushrooms and a lemon drop martini**, while my husband ordered the lamb with scalloped potatoes. Someone else in our party also ordered the Ribeye, and it was equally fantastic. Another person ordered the New York Strip, which was cooked exactly as requested, and another had the **salmon and shrimp**, both of which were cooked well and enjoyed. In fact, all the steaks at our table were cooked exactly as ordered, which is always a great sign of a quality steakhouse. The sides were also a hit! In addition to our scalloped potatoes and cremini mushrooms**, other sides at our table included lobster mac and cheese, baked potato, and garlic mashed potatoes—all of which were thoroughly enjoyed. The portions were generous, making them great for sharing. The warm bread served at the start was also a delicious touch. And a word of caution—when they bring out the steaks, they come on sizzling 500-degree plates, so be careful! Not everything was flawless—one person at our table found the chicken a bit dry and lacking flavor, and of course, the cold crab cakes were a letdown. I can’t remember all the cocktails ordered at our table, but I believe one was a mint mojito. I’m unsure of the others, but everyone enjoyed their drinks as well. Parking is valet-only, and it was $8 when we visited. I always make sure to tip both the person parking and the person retrieving the car. Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations, offering top-tier service, high-quality food, and a great atmosphere. Despite a couple of minor issues, I would absolutely return! (Sorry for the terribly blurry ribeye photo, included anyway for reference to size!)

Liza was an excellent. Gordon the manager was also excellent. We shared the Porterhouse for two along with Sweet Potato Casserole and Brussel Spouts. Our appetizer was the Spicy Shrimp and we had a Ruth Chris Bread Pudding with Whisky Sauce for dessert. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting. We ate in the dining room near the wine display. The bar area was well lite and very busy. We had a great time and we will be back.

Went to Ruth’s Chris to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and overall the experience was a 10/10! My steak initially came out a bit too fatty, but the manager (who mentioned he was from Biloxi) handled the situation perfectly. He offered to remake my steak with a new side — and even added an additional side on the house. His professionalism and customer service truly made up for the issue and turned the experience around completely. The food ended up being delicious, and the dessert was the perfect finish — highly recommend the cheesecake! Big thanks to the team for making my mom’s birthday dinner special.

I had dinner at Ruth's Chris West End, and it was absolutely delicious! Every dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. As a restaurant owner myself, I understand the challenges of consistently delivering high-quality meals, so I truly appreciate the effort it takes to get everything just right. Ruth's Chris exceeded my expectations! The food was fantastic, and I rarely order steak when dining out due to my high standards, but I made an exception this time—and I was not let down! The service was outstanding as well. In a city where attentive service can sometimes be hit or miss, their staff was always accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend dining here! 🌟

I ordered the cowboy ribeye and it was excellent and cooked to perfection, garlic butter mashed potatoes were amazing and the crème brûlée was top. Amir was our waiter and he never left our waters below half full, amazing service and definitely recommend him. شكراً جزيلاً, Amir

I have long heard of this restaurant, for me it did not live up to the hype. The atmosphere was sufficient for that of a steakhouse. The steak itself was okay, it was not bad but not the best either. The desserts were delicious as well the Caesar’s salad.

House of Cards is a unique magic-themed dining concept in Nashville, offering an elegant and magical experience for adults. The venue is located underground in a 10,000 square foot space and features a secret tunnel entrance that leads to a world of enchantment. The interior boasts a handcrafted bar, art collections, European antiques, and magic-related artifacts, creating an unparalleled ambiance. Guests can enjoy classic American cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails while being entertained by top magicians stationed throughout the venue.
The magic shows were the best part! They did things that are mind boggling. Right in front of your face. Everything is up close and since they're so close everyone gets involved in some way. The atmosphere and the entrance are pretty fun. It's nice to get dressed up once in a while. You just have to keep in mind when paying for food and drinks that the magicians are covered in that. Only then in my mind was the price of the food worth it. The food was good, but not top notch. The pork belly was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The lamb shanks were well cooked and juicy. The steaks were great. The not greats were the Mac and cheese, and the tuna appetizer. Maybe with salt they both would've been better. They just were bland.

House of Cards was a fantastic dinning experience! Everyone at the table agreed best meal ever in Nashville and our server (Brandon) made the night even more special! The up close, literally sitting across the table from the card trick magicians was mind blowing. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

House of Cards was a very mystic experience. The food was very delicious. We enjoyed everything including burrata, vegan surf and turf and creme brulee. The chocolate cake was very dense. The service, however, was terrible. Our server was not attentive at all. We had consistently get his attention by walking to him.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!! I had the "2ND" best meal of my life here!!! Me and my friends came here for a fancy and unique dining experience and we got that and then some! ! ! ! W A R N I N G ! ! ! YOU HAVE TO DRESS UP FOR THIS PLACE AND THE DRESS CODE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED! So this is definitely a place you need to plan for and 100% make a reservation! From start to finish this was an A++ experience. Probably the worst part was the host was a lil ridge and straight to the point, but besides that our waitress was amazing, attentive, and super cool to talk to! Each magician had a larger than life and unique personality and each do their own unique tricks making it worthwhile to check out all of them! Hands down the best part was the food! I got the veal and duck fat fingerling potatoes and after eating it I felt like I had to smoke a cigarette after it was so good. The drinks are good too, and they have a wide variety of alcohol. If you get an entree you can get a ticket to a bigger magic show than the small ones you can visit while your food is being made. The show is pretty cool! They last close to 30mins and will definitely leave you amazed even if you're a skeptic! Lastly, definitely check out the patio, its a cool place to chill and take pics. Again, if you're going to Nashville this is a must!

What a cool place! We were only in Nashville for 2 days and came across this gem. The dress code is strict, seeing as how we had not planned to go out somewhere nice, we bought our suits, dresses, and shoes an hour before the event. Totally worth it. It’s located inside the Johnny Cash museum. We were actually a little lost trying to find it because there’s not really a sign or anything. A well dressed man will open the door to lead you in and explain to you the rules. You will then descend some stairs into the main place. It’s very beautiful! Speakeasy, gothic vibes for sure. It’s actually why we chose it because of the novelty of magic and we are really goth, so the vibes were just right. It’s a very intimate setting, beautifully decorated. You’ll receive a short tour once you’re inside and then led to your table. You are not allowed to take photos, so besides the food, I tried to respect that and did not take photos of anything else. I like the idea of also not being in your phone at dinner and being present 💖 The food prices will be a shock, be warned. However, it includes the price of the magicians and performances that you get to enjoy. Because of that justification, it makes sense to me. If you’re looking for a top of the line steak, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for an amazing experience- go here. We got the beef tartare as an appetizer, the elk, side of fries, and the braised lamb shank. Beef tartare was good! I enjoyed the strange spicy jam underneath. It was definitely unique to me. I enjoyed it, but my partner did not like it but he’s also a picky eater. The braised lamb shank was alright. Portion is BIG so there’s that. But the taste was not mind blowing or anything to write home about. A little gamey actually. Strangely enough, the elk was NOT gamey. It was the most delicious dish we had! We have never had elk before and were expecting something extremely lean that may not be as nice to cut or chew, however we were so glad to be wrong! It was so tender and flavorful. I put aside my dishes to steal half of my partner’s (I love that he loves me haha). This dish alone would have us coming back!! If there’s one thing for you to get on the menu, let this be it. The main performance was so fun. You are lead into a very small and initimate theatre room during your designated show time. The humor is dry and absolutely hilarious. They give you cute little tickets too so I use them for my old lady scrapbook hehe. There are also a couple of people who sit at tables in the restaurant that you can sit with and watch them and interact. Overall this was a good experience. It was fun for a night and would make a great date night. The bathrooms are pretty and great for selfies. But the hallway to get to it is kinda creepy in the best way. The staff were phenomenal and I recommend trying this place if you’re ever in town.

We were really looking forward to the “experience” of House of Cards yet we left a little disappointed. The atmosphere is incredible, love the decor and vibe of the restaurant. Our waitress was attentive at times the service felt rushed even when we had plenty of time before our show time. We were told the main magic show was 30 minutes but it barely lasted 20 minutes. The card shows were good making the experience better. I’m not sure I’d go back for the price we paid.
Allison E — Google review
House of Cards completely exceeded my expectations! The food and atmosphere were incredible. Since it’s a little kitschy, I wasn’t expecting the food to be that good, but it truly was outstanding. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The magic was so much fun and left me trying to figure out how on earth they pulled it off! It’s definitely on the pricier side, but honestly worth it for the full experience. We usually share an entrée, but since you need to order one per person to attend the main magic show, we each did. If that feels like too much food, the magic tables in the dining area are still a blast, and you can enjoy plenty of close up tricks without doing the full show. Overall, a really unique and memorable night out in Nashville. I thought it would be a one and done, but I would absolutely go back!🎩✨
Olivia B — Google review
House of Cards delivered an exceptional night out. The food was truly outstanding—every dish was perfectly executed and full of flavor. The magic shows and side-table performances were top-notch; I was surprised at how well both were done, expecting at least one to feel sub-par. No such thing—both were excellent. The ambiance was great: intimate, stylish, and immersive. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The only downside? It’s extremely pricey, and everything is à la carte. Our group of four had two rounds of drinks (one person not drinking at all), three appetizers, and entrees—no dessert—and the total with tip came to $935. Drinks are steep, and there are quite a few upcharges. Worth it for a special occasion, but definitely not an everyday spot. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood to splurge and be entertained.

Cork & Cow is a sophisticated steakhouse in Franklin, known for its refined classics and inventive cocktails. Executive chef Jason McConnell has made his mark on the city's dining scene with several successful eateries before transforming Sol into this upscale establishment in 2012. The restaurant's rustic yet elegant ambiance reflects influences from McConnell's previous ventures, offering a blend of local and regional flavors, Latin touches, and Deep South sensibilities.
Did not disappoint! Our first time as a new somewhat “local”. Sitting at the bar was worth the experience of getting to know many of the restaurant’s “regular” patrons. Good food, drinks and conversations along with a seasoned staff of excellent waiters and bartenders make the evening a repeat experience!

Was excited to eat at such a highly rated Steakhouse. Upon arrival I was greeted with warm smiles and kindness. Atmosphere was great! Reviewed the menu and thought I decided on the Chargrilled Oysters. Waited around and they never came. Ordered their Ole Fashioned and it was extremely sweet likely due to pre made mix. No cherry also! Decided on 45 day dry aged ribeye and it was a disappointment. Expecting a tender melt in your mouth steak and it wasn’t bad but far from the price point. Finally ordered crème burlee and it was watery. Could have been an amazing experience! Just never met my expectations. Other steakhouses I am been blown away at for comparison sake is Oak Steakhouse. Charleston, SC. Malones Lexington, KY, Halls Chophouse, Charleston, SC.

Great meal! My wife loved her filet and enjoyed my grouper and wedge salad. The sourdough focaccia is the bomb. So is the chocolate bomb desert. Dining area was a bit loud. That always depends on the crowd but the space between the tables also contributes. Convenient parking garage across the street.

Had an incredible meal at Cork & Cow. The service was amazing. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, especially dealing with quite a large group. He had great recommendations. Food and drinks were incredible. Had the filet, which was one of the best I've ever had. Also tried the blue cheese risotto which was so unique and delicious. Appreciated the ambiance, experimental but approachable menu, and the top-notch service.

This place was rustic and somewhat quaint. And the food was tasty. We sat at the bar for an early dinner, bartender was very nice. An overall good experience!

Jayde is the best bartender at Cork and Cow, she made our friend’s birthday dinner fun and memorable, and she always has the best service. Her cocktail skills are unbeatable! The food here is delicious, my personal favorite is the wedge salad as well as the bread and butter, the bread is heavenly. Great deals on wine, as well.

I'm afraid this is a run-of-the-mill restaurant masquerading as a specialized, high-end place. While I was really excited to dine here, I quickly realized it wasn't what it claimed to be. A few examples: The "baby gem" salad was not gem lettuce; it was a field mix from a bag, covered heavily in dressing. We sent it back and complained; they removed it from our bill. The filet mignon, which cost $50+, was sinewy and misshapen; it was almost impossible to cut and was chewy. We complained and a modest adjustment was made to our bill. We were told something along the lines of "all animals grow in different ways." While there is truth to this, the role of the chef is to only serve the highest quality cuts of meat. Our son ordered the grouper; while the dish was good, the small amount of fish he received for the steep price was upsetting. While the service was very nice, and management was receptive, the overall experience was incredibly expensive (even with reductions) and disappointing. Alas.
Fellaball — Google review
Everything tasted amazing! My wife's medium filet was a little overcooked which didn't happen too often at a nice steakhouse but it was still really good. The only gripe I have was specific to the table we had, that it was dimly lit in the corner we were in. I could hardly see what I was eating, good thing it was amazing!

Known for its impeccable service and phenomenal food, STK Steakhouse in Nashville offers standout dishes like the 4oz A5 Wagyu Filet.
I had an unforgettable birthday dinner at STK in Nashville, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, with a perfect blend of upscale energy and welcoming vibes that made the night feel special. My friends and I were buzzing with excitement from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The Mac and cheese was creamy, indulgent, and packed with flavor—a total comfort food masterpiece. The Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection, with just the right balance of crispiness and seasoning that had everyone at the table stealing bites. And the New York steak? It was cooked exactly as I wanted, juicy, tender, and bursting with rich, savory goodness. Every dish was a hit, and the presentation was as impressive as the taste. The staff were fantastic, making sure our group felt celebrated and cared for throughout the night. STK truly elevated my birthday with its incredible food, lively ambiance, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Nashville.

My husband and I had reservations and were celebrating our 1 year anniversary here on a Monday. The restaurant was pretty empty but the atmosphere was very nice! The team was really warm and inviting! Every person we encountered was super gracious and friendly! They gave us a complimentary glass of champagne and sparklers for our celebration which was a super sweet touch. We started with their happy hour drinks and appetizers and MAN they did not disappoint. The appetizers which we demolished in mere minutes, got us super excited to try the entrees. Sadly the entrees didn’t live up to our excitement from the apps. All of the food was hot and fresh, but the entrees and sides just lacked in flavor. Don’t get me wrong, they were good and the presentation was top tier. But it was just good. For the prices you pay, you’d expect some exceptional food. My husband and I are foodies so we tried a number of different options. Ticket was almost $700 - which we were more than happy to pay. Our suggestion would be to stop in for a happy hour and enjoy some discounted drinks and those yummy apps! The tuna tartare tacos, truffle fries, Philly egg rolls and Calmari were delish! The lobster linguine was alright and same with the braised short rib.

Certainly! Here's a five-star review for STK Nashville highlighting Mandy and Brittany: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an exceptional dining experience at STK Nashville, and I can't praise Mandy and Brittany enough! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and taken care of. Mandy's attentive service and expert recommendations truly enhanced our meal, and Brittany's friendly and professional attitude made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively and stylish, perfect for a memorable night out. The food was outstanding—delicious steaks and creative sides that exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend STK Nashville, and especially want to thank Mandy and Brittany for their outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Visited STK recently and while the ambiance and nightlife vibe were definitely on point. Consisted of dim lighting, trendy decor, and upbeat music.. it’s just the food didn’t quite justify the high price tag. Our waiter was genuinely sweet and attentive, which made the experience more pleasant. However, the portions were underwhelming and the flavor of the food just didn’t live up to expectations, especially given how much we paid. It’s clear you’re paying more for the atmosphere than the meal itself. Nice place to check out once, if you're into the scene, but I wouldn’t return based on the taste-to-price ratio.

The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the wagyu flat iron with truffle butter. The texture was amazing and flavor was insane. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Todd was very attentive and made excellent suggestions. The atmosphere is very lively so if you are wanting a quiet intimate dinner this is not the place. If you want a beautiful and energetic atmosphere with delicious food this is a great option.

Such a great experience! I was hesitant at first when my husband set us a reservation, but left feeling so pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible, the service was unmatched, the music and ambience was fun and clubby and yet still classy, and the overall experience was a 10/10. Multiple staff members checked on us, but not in an annoying way. We were just all-around so pleased!! Incredible experience, we WILL be back’ Mandy was also our server, and we absolutely ADORED her. When we come back, we will be asking for her again! She knew the restaurant and all the options front to back, she never forgot about us, and she was always so bubbly and upbeat despite being so busy. Thank you, Mandy!!!

Mandy was the sweetest server! Explained the menu so well and checked in often and made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the crab cake with lobster mac and cheese, both AMAZING. My husband tried the Australian wagu steak with lobster, best he’s ever had.

This is an updated review after our experience earlier in August. After writing my previous review, Joey the GM reached out to me and invited my husband and me to be special guests of his and the Chef. So we accepted their offer and celebrated my birthday on Saturday. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated wonderfully. The table, the birthday card, Brittany, our server, and Joey were absolutely amazing. The Chef's three-course meal was absolutely wonderful. They made my birthday a very special occasion, including the fireworks with our dessert. I can't thank them enough for making it right and inviting us to be their special guests. Thank you, Joey and Brittany. We will definitely be back and will ask for you personally. Very blessed and grateful for a wonderful night. I have never been so disappointed. This was our 36th wedding anniversary dinner and I was so looking forward to this night all week. The atmosphere was loud, the server rushed us the whole night. The service was horrible, we ordered the octopus and wagyu dumplings for appetizers, the octopus was tough and chewy. The dumplings were sub-par. Then we ordered the Tomahawk steak medium rare, it was cold and raw, after spending $480, I left in tears and was so upset and hungry. What a huge disappointment to say the least. I will never go back, or recommend this place.

We enjoyed dinner and drinks at Halls Chophouse. Joey was behind the bar and he did a great job sharing information about the each drink of the Old Forester flight my husband had. He was very knowledgeable about the food and offered great recommendations. We enjoyed Joey's service so much that we canceled our reservation in the dining room and stayed for dinner at the bar. Bone in filet, bison, and caramel cake were all good, too. I just forgot to take pictures of them.

The food and atmosphere were great! The steaks are a whole presentation. We had oysters on the half shell, shared a Caesar salad and the tomahawk steak along with my favorite mezcal tequila with ginger beer and my husband enjoyed a glass of wine. Top it off with a fantastic server!

Halls Chophouse has the BEST steaks in Nashville. My husband and I love a good steakhouse, and we think Halls is the best one we’ve tried here. We ordered wet-aged ribeye and filet mignon, a lobster tail, shrimp, lobster mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries. Everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. All of the servers were extremely kind, and Matt, one of the managers, was a pleasure to chat with. His genuine service definitely enriched our experience. Matt sent us home with sorbets to celebrate our recent marriage, and they were just as delightful as the main courses. This has become our go-to date night spot for special occasions. Thank you Halls for making our night so special!

This was our 4th celebration at Halls, but first with the Nashville location. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed music from Henry. He accepted requests, & did a great job on a few of our favorites. The service from Bailey was phenomenal. She had us laughing the entire time and was great with making the experience personal with including our son in the conversations. The food, the reason we come… the steak was amazing, the mashed potatoes were phenomenal, and the chopped salad and bread pudding are the entire reason I would drive from Ga to have. You cannot go wrong with these!!! We look forward to many more celebrations spent here!

Stopped in for dinner last week. I ordered the 16oz wet-aged ribeye which was seasoned well. My co-workers had the 20oz dry-aged Kansas City Strip and the 6oz grass-fed filet. We had garlic spinach and the pepper jack creamed corn skillet for the table. The creamed corn is a must have. Great steaks combined with awesome service. Can't wait to go back.

Lyman P — Google review
We've been planning a dinner at Halls for months and finally had the opportunity to do so. It's one of six U.S. locations of this regional chain and the only location outside South Carolina. They've gained a reputation as one of the best steakhouses in Nashville, even featuring the most expensive bottle of wine and the most expensive dish in town. Unfortunately, despite impeccable service and an elegant interior, the food did not live up to the hype! It wasn't even close! Now, have my visits to every one of the top 25 steakhouses in America jaded me? Has experiencing Michelin-starred restaurants and eating beef in at least 50 countries and all 50 states set a standard that few restaurants can measure up to? Maybe. But the more I reflect on this meal, the more I conclude that this is about Halls falling flat rather than my lofty standards. At least five steakhouses in Music City have sufficiently impressed me despite my vast experiences. And let's just say when you drop $80 at Halls for a dry-aged ribeye steak cooked medium and it comes out chewy, even tough in places, burnt in spots and partially inedible, even someone with little steak-consuming experience would feel cheated. Any cut of beef that runs $5 per ounce or more should NEVER evoke the word inedible! And when the server asks you to cut into your steak to ensure that it's cooked to your liking, but it takes a minute just to force a very sharp steak knife through the beef, that's a major warning sign!! The truffle butter is excellent and somewhat saved the disappointing steak, coming in a tremendous portion size. But the Hollandaise is very bland, seemingly butter and egg yolk without a hint of lemon nor spices. My parents were chefs, and they always stated that the quality of a restaurant's Hollandaise is a good indication of the chef's talent or lack thereof. And this was definitely lacking. The scallops are surprisingly small. The calamari appetizer is good but lacks our favorite part, the deep-fried tentacles. The crab soup isn't mind blowing but it's definitely good enough. The salmon was shockingly dry. And the loaded baked potato was superb but probably needed more cheese. Although, the cheddar was noticeably of excellent quality. We dined with two chefs who are friends of ours, and they echoed their dissatisfaction. Realistically, this was probably a three-star meal or just under. But when you're paying over $400 for a party of four that drank little alcohol, and when other steakhouses in Nashville execute fine dining MUCH better, you feel like you just wasted your money. Hence, Halls deserves the two-star review.

Harper's is a new steakhouse in Nashville that offers an exceptional dining experience. The ambience is delightful, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAR NONE! Yes, it is a steakhouse but it is not your ordinary steakhouse. The interior is clean and modern and the music is nice and not too loud. But what makes this extra special, is the customer service. Our server, Corey, went above and beyond to make a graduation luncheon an exceptional experience. We were a large party and he handled it extremely well. He should be in charge of training all of the waiters. The menu has an impressive variety of dishes and all the food we ordered was excellent-- Caesar salads, steak sandwiches, salmon, lobster ravioli, tuna, she crab soup and more. We also enjoyed several different cocktails. We were blown away when they brought out a creme brulee and torched it at the table! I've been to many steakhouses all over the country and I put this one at the top. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are celebrating something special. Parking is easy too.

I had truly the most amazing experience at Harper’s on Sunday night. I went for my anniversary and they made it so special, especially our server Calli. She was amazing! We truly had such a great time and she gave great recommendations! The beef Wellington potstickers were incredible and the truffle cream corn was to die for! Highly recommend and would definitely come again next time I am in Nashville!

An Anniversary Transformed by the Best Server We've Ever Had (Thank You, Emily!!!) Dining at Harper's for our anniversary was, quite simply, the best restaurant experience we have ever had, and it was entirely due to our beautiful, sweet, and wonderful server, Emily. The food here is truly 12/10. We were already thrilled with every single bite: the Elk Tenderloin was perfectly prepared, the Beef Wellington Potsticker was an ingenious starter, and the Lobster Ravioli was rich and flawless. Even the house Bread was exceptional. Harper's kitchen is operating on another level! But Emily—she outdid herself, and she outdid the food. She was the highlight of our evening; her glowing face and genuinely kind demeanor are my fondest memory of the night! Despite how busy the restaurant was, Emily was incredibly attentive, always anticipating our needs without hovering. She didn't just serve us; she made our anniversary dinner special. Her energy and grace made our entire experience ten times better. She is, without question, one of the best servers we have ever had. Harper’s, you have a superstar in Emily! We can’t wait to come back.

We had a FABULOUS anniversary dinner here! No less than 5 staff throughout the evening wished us happy anniversary. They sat us next to the window with a wonderful view of the skyline. Almost everything we ordered was like an experience. I hesitated on ordering the seafood tower because I always compare it to Prime's seafood tower in Vegas but Harper's did not disappoint! The servers were friendly and on top of it. We started with complimentary champagne and ended with complimentary dessert. The cocktail I had was fantastic and definitely order the bone marrow. Reminds me of my time in France. You can NOT go wrong here! One of the best meals I've had in Nashville. Absolutely love that you can order half sizes of the seafood tower and salads. We like to try lots of things. Beautiful atmosphere as well.

Harper’s Steakhouse is truly exceptional! From the warm, attentive management team to the incredibly talented chef team, every visit is an unforgettable experience. Celebrity Executive Chef Jordan Arcuri, who also won a season of “Chopped”, brings world-class creativity and flavor to every dish. You can taste the passion and expertise in every bite. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is flawless, and the food is absolutely top-notch. Harper’s isn’t just a meal—it’s a dining experience I recommend to anyone who loves great food and outstanding hospitality!

The food here is some if the best I've had. Lobster cooked perfectly, steaks and sides we're fantastic. The Wellington pot stickers were delicious as was the creme brulee. My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary in Nashville. Everyone was extremely attentive, wishing us a happy anniversary and our waitress Rebecca was simply amazing. My only gripe would be that it was pretty loud in there. We were sitting close to the bar but tbh the bar was pretty empty so don't think it was coming from there. Price wise it's about standard for what you'd expect at a steakhouse. All in all I would highly recommend Harper's!!

Service from Emily and Gage was immaculate. 5 stars! Prompt, bright, and very professional. Emily in particular had a friendly and approachable demeanor that did not feel too “stuffy” that made us feel like we were being taken care of by a friend and not a stranger. Food was great, but we felt the steak was a little under seasoned. This is our 3rd time dining at Harper’s in the last 2 years and we felt this was the least flavorful steak of those 3 visits. It felt like the steak wasn’t good enough to stand alone and it really NEEDED the accompaniments. Appetizers and sides were wonderful, but the main event was a little underwhelming. Presentation was lovely. Just the steak in particular fell a little short for us.

Recommend making a reservation...or take your chances, go early and beat the crowd. This exceptional location in downtown Nashville is a modern one story with an inviting curb appeal. It's actually four spaces that each offer a unique space to cement an evening of memories to be treasured. Good weather invites you to sit outside. Just through the entryway and on the left is a brighter, more modern space. Perhaps two of you want to sidle up the bar area. Intimate with just enough noise to remind you you're in a very special place. Beyond the bar, notice a handful of larger booth areas that have a very distinct and inviting mileau. You and your party will have enjoy being in a table setting that ensures your privacy while rewarding a view of the restaurant and the wonderful service. This area behind the bat also has seats along the exterior windows and plenty of tables in the middle. The backdrop of the Nashville skyline is simply wonderful. We enjoyed top notch table service from Corey and staff. It's no surprised that these people demonstrate great teamwork. The drinks were perfect. The menu offers something for everyone. It's on the higher end of the spectrum, you're going to get more than what you would typically expect from a high-end restaurant. These people are out.

If you're planning a night out in Germantown, make sure to include Star Rover Sound on your itinerary. This vibrant live music venue and restaurant is the perfect spot to unwind after enjoying drinks at Le Loup and a seafood dinner at The Optimist. With its unique blend of honky-tonk charm and mid-century modern flair, Star Rover Sound offers an inviting atmosphere where you can enjoy local performances without straining your voice.
What a great spot for someone visiting Nashville! The setting was intimate but still felt spacious. The music was good and service was quick. The tenders meal from the bar menu was great- spicy and breaded to perfection. The chips salsa and queso was so tasty both had a yummy smokiness. The fries were insanely crispy and crunchy. But y’all, the bread was SO GOOD- sweet, salty and soaked in better. All that and then the drinks are TASTY.

EASTER BRUNCH My dad and I came here for Easter brunch today and it was so freaking amazing. Pancakes and eggs with any meat you pick and those pancakes could've been an item of their own. I've never had pancakes like that. My dad barely saved me any to share because they were that good. Liquid gold syrup. I could really write this raving review just of that. My dad had their chopped steak and yes - best he ever had. I had the chicken fried chicken and yup - best I ever had. Didn't even think to ask for hot sauce (which I always do when I order chicken) Onion rings WOW. Fries WOW. Everything was so unbelievably yummy I cannot wait for a repeat brunch menu. I had a freak accident with the ketchup bottle and the staff and manager were so sweet to help me clean up and make sure I was okay. It was a mini mess but a good chunk of my top was damp from wiping my clothes off as they kept bringing me wet rags for my hands, sleeves, top until I was comfortable/clean to continue eating. Which, wet clothes or not, I couldn't wait to get back to my meal lol. Thank you for the amazing food and service! It was a great Easter meal.

I’m obsessed with Star Rover Sound! If you love discovering new favorites, this is the place to be. As a devoted fan of The Optimist (their incredible sister spot), I was thrilled to find Star Rover Sound delivers the same creative flair—just with a heartier, feel-good twist. Think warm, soulful comfort food served up with a side of seriously good live music. The skirt steak? An absolute must. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and crave-worthy—I’d come back for that alone, and have. It’s cooked to perfection every. single. time. The vibe inside is pure Nashville charm: a modern honky-tonk dream with cozy booths, and that easygoing energy that makes you want to stay awhile. Drinks are always spot-on (never a miss), and the service? Truly next-level. Friendly, fast, and always on point. Whether you’re coming for a night out with friends or a laid-back dinner with live tunes, Star Rover Sound hits all the right notes. 10/10 recommend!

My wife and I didn’t have any dinner plans on a Friday night, so we decided to keep it easy and find a spot nearby that had live music. We showed up around 7 pm, just as the place was starting to fill up and the band was warming up — great timing. The menu had a solid variety of steaks and other dishes, but we were in the mood for something hearty, so we both went with steak dinners, which came with several sides. Opti Roll (complimentary): These rolls were a pleasant surprise — warm, golden, and slightly salty on the outside with soft, fluffy insides. The whipped butter melted right in and added just the right touch of richness. Simple, but really satisfying. House Salad (included): A generous bowl of crisp greens topped with crunchy croutons and bits of savory bacon. It had a nice balance of freshness and flavor, and for a complimentary side, the quality was surprisingly high. Onion Rings & Fries (included, all-you-can-eat): The onion rings were standout. Thick-cut, perfectly crispy, well-seasoned on the outside with hot, tender onion inside. Honestly, some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The fries were solid too, but the rings definitely stole the show. Chopped Steak: The steak was juicy, tender, and cooked just right, with a great sear on the outside. The texture reminded us more of a high-quality burger patty — rich and meaty, in the best way. We both really enjoyed it. Ice Cream (separate order): This dessert was a winner — creamy vanilla ice cream with cookie crumbles mixed in. What made it special was a drizzle of olive oil layered in, which added a subtle nuttiness and a super smooth mouthfeel. Not overly sweet, just refreshing and delicious. One of the best ice creams I’ve had in a while. Overall, we had an awesome time. The food hit the spot, the service was friendly, and the live music gave the evening a laid-back, feel-good vibe. If you’re into casual dining with great food and live tunes, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This place is special. Great atmosphere and live music. The martinis are perfect. We ordered a bit of everything including the steak and shrimp. We unfortunately had an issue with a couple of our steaks being very well done+ when ordered med rare. BUT they were so quick to own the mistake and apologize, fire up 3 new ones, and treated us to a seafood platter. The shrimp was world class and the fired lobster was good as well. You can tell this restaurant is run well. Their staff was so kind all around. When we got our replacements they were perfect (I suspect they had a new cook back there). 10/10 would return.

We had no idea about this place until a friend invited us to see this "jam" sesh. Literally a group of world class musicians, a former a America guitar player, the Maverick's sax player and Phil Collins keyboardist. They were really fun and so casual it did feel like a little jam but in true Nashville fashion (rare nowadays) it was top notch. The food: Wow. The steak dinners are so good. You get unlimited rolls and fries/onion rings with your steak along with a fantastic starter salad. My t-bone was perfect. The filet was a tad well done but the flavor was still great. Or drink picks were gin and tonic and filthy martinis We finished the evening off with a dreamsicle float. Your bill includes the musician fees so don't eat and run! Hang out, listen and drink up. The Coors banquets are only 4 bucks! Can't wait to go back.

My new top spot in Nashville! Delicious steak dinner for a great price. Cocktails were great too. Probably the best price in Nashville for a dirty martini! The service was great. Highly recommend this spot.

Went here for a date night and had a pretty unpleasant experience. My fiance and I ordered drinks and when the waitress asked for our IDs, my fiance couldn’t find hers. We tried to offer alternate identification and a recent photo of the license but our waitress repeatedly emphasized that they are “sticklers” for identification-fair enough. However, the table that was sat directly next to us ordered drinks shortly afterward and none of them were ID’d. In addition to their unfair identification practices, the onion rings were soggy. Fries were crunchy but felt like you were biting into air and tasted like stale oil. Steaks tasted like a normal steak from chilis and undercooked; not sure they know a medium rare.

Skull's Rainbow Room is a speakeasy-style lounge that dates back to 1948 and offers elevated American cuisine, craft drinks, and nightly burlesque shows. After being closed for 16 years, the classic burlesque club was revived by new management. The chophouse menu features traditional prime rib, filet mignon, and a Boeuf en Croute ribeye dish wrapped with brie and puffed pastry.
My Beautiful Wife and I took a trip to Nashville and a friend of mine tells me you have to try Skulls Rainbow Room. Explained how great the food was here. Well that was the understatement of the year. The food here was AMAZING Service just good. Live music...we just had a Great time. I like to consider myself a food connoisseur. We were visiting from New Orleans so I know good food and have a palette for the best. First let me say there was no burlesque show this night only someone singing and playing piano and he was great! Not too loud just nice entertainment. Secondly our server Miguel was fantastic very polite and professional. However the issue was with the food. My husband and myself shared an appearing shared an entree which is something we always do. Our bill was almost $200 and it was top 5 worst food I have ever eaten. I wanted to ask the chef if he was actually serious. The lobster bisque had no flavor or any actual lobster in it. It was seafood flavored puree. Secondly the gnocchi was served in the same lobster bisque that I had for my appetizer. Then comes the Mac and cheese. Dry, and tastes like straight Parmesan cheese. So bold and nutty I couldn’t stomach it. Maybe I am just used to good southern seasoned food but I was not impressed at all with this place and will not ever return.

Super cool place with a retro vibe. Interior is low lighting with dark furniture. We were a party of six and were sat in the back area for dinner and drinks. While we ate there was a man playing the piano. If you want live music go after 9:00 or later for the show. Dinner and drinks were fabulous! Best prime rib. Sides are additional and shareable. Definitely a place for an older crowd to listen to nice music, dinner and drinks.

Walking into the restaurant was like stepping into another time. The dark, speakeasy vibe with the pianist playing softly in the background accomplishes the vibe the owners envisioned. The service was excellent with the server being very knowledgeable about the menu and staff working as a team. The food was okay with some fishes being superb and others being average. That may have been my fault, a Louisiana girl ordering begniets in Nashville! Overall it was definitely a cool experience. I would definitely be back for dinner rather than brunch on our next trip.

It was a pretty cool spot in downtown Nashville. We went with friends who had been there before. I had an 8 oz filet that was really really good. I unfortunately couldn't give it a 5 star on the food because my wife ordered the salmon and it just didn't have a lot of flavor. But everything else was really good. I would definitely go back when in the area again.

Nestled within the enchanting Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, Old Hickory Steakhouse offers a truly elevated dining experience that redefines hotel cuisine. Set in an elegant antebellum mansion, this refined steakhouse boasts a menu rich with seafood and prime cuts of beef, all served amidst stunning indoor gardens and soothing waterfall sounds. Guests can choose to dine in the sophisticated two-story setting or on a charming balcony, enveloped by lush greenery.
We had a wonderful business dinner at the Old Hickory Steakhouse. It was definitely something I’ll remember. The Christmas lights added a really nice ambiance. My New York Strip steak was perfect and the side dishes were really good. We ordered a couple desserts and they were fabulous. If you’re sitting “outside” they do have bathrooms that are accessible out there which are very nice. It was an expensive dinner, but we were looking for something special as this was our team dinner.

Peter was very polite and helpful in making our cheese selection, and also helping us to NOT over order since this was our first visit. He explained everything for us. He was very professional and very pleasant. He is an asset to your organization. I understand this is an upscale place, and the food was excellent, but the New York Strip was way overpriced. I've been to just as upscale places and gotten a 2 lb. Porterhouse for the same price you charged for the 14 oz. New York Strip Steak.

Impeccable service and lovely atmosphere. This hotel is amazing. The restaurant was even better. My prime dry aged ribeye was easily one of the best steaks I ever had. Utterly buttery and melted in my mouth. Roasted Brussel sprouts very tasty. The presentation and taste of the lobster bisque second to none. Jason was an amazing waiter. Crab cakes were awesome too. Splurge and go. Then take a walk around this lovely hotel.

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had with my family on vacation in Tennessee. 1st class Steakhouse is an institution in opryland. All the old fashioned amenities of a great steakhouse. Very accommodating they gave my fiance a signed birthday card from the entire staff and the old fashioned cocktail was a real treat. The food was absolutely phenomenal—some of the best we’ve ever had. As an added touch, the staff signed a thoughtful card for us, and we were treated to a complimentary dessert, which was such a kind and memorable gesture. Located in downtown Nashville, The Farm House is a charming restaurant that offers a unique blend of Southern classics and Italian influences. Chef/owner Trey Cioccia's farm-to-table approach ensures that only the freshest seasonal ingredients are used, sourced from local farmers like Farmer Dave from Southland Farms and Trout farmer Bob Lukens. The menu features imaginative dishes such as pork belly Pop Tarts and pimento cheese beignets.
Spinach dip was piping hot and incredibly creamy and flavorful. Our waitress I couldn’t ask for anyone better. The rigatoni was packed with incredible layers of flavors. Sirloin cooked to perfection. With sure summer beans rendered in bacon. Something to be had.

Went in for brunch because it was close to the hotel we were staying at. It had good reviews on Google so the four of us gave it a chance. By 10 a.m. it is easy to get a table. However they will probably be out of their famous cinnamon rolls. The portions were large and generous for the price. The server was gregarious and entertaining. Overall a very good experience

Good place for brunch in downtown. Excellent service and friendly staff. The food was good. Huevos rancheros were so delicious. The chicken and waffle was 6/10 for me. But overall positive experience and happy to have visited.

In a dining landscape often defined by inconsistency, this restaurant delivers a performance that places it among the top three meals I have experienced. The excellence permeates every touchpoint, from the quality of the ingredients to the depth of the flavor profiles, all anchored by truly exceptional hospitality. Our evening was superbly managed by Trenton, whose attentive and knowledgeable service was both seamless and essential. He represents the highest standard of front-of-house staff and deserves immediate recognition. The meal began with appetizers that showcased technical proficiency. Both the Pig Ears and the Fried Green Tomatoes were executed flawlessly, setting a high standard for the courses to follow. The main dishes were a revelation: The Rigatoni was a marvel of balanced flavor. The sauce was notably bright—a complex reduction that demonstrated remarkable depth and intensity. It achieved a nostalgic, yet refined, richness that truly spoke of comfort and expertise. The Hot Chicken was the evening's triumph. Served as a chicken breast—a cut notorious for dryness—it was transformed into the most succulent chicken I have ever encountered. The internal temperature was perfectly maintained, resulting in a juicy, flavor-infused explosion in every bite. This is a masterclass in preparing poultry. The dessert, a delicious Peanut Butter Pie, provided a rich, satisfying close to the meal. We are eagerly anticipating our return to explore the creativity of the forthcoming fall menu.

We went there for date night. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very kind, welcoming and attentive. BEST part of our evening. The atmosphere was not my idea of fine dining. It was fair dining at best. The table we were sat at had a huge stain on the table cloth, the tiles in the ceiling were water stained. I’m assuming from the air conditioning vent because it kept dripping on my husbands arm. Thank goodness it didn’t go in his food. The food was ok. Our adult beverages were very delicious. We got salads which were good. I ordered a medium steak, it was rare. The flavor was very good but I can not eat a bloody steak. My husbands steak was decent. But the plates they were served on were scalding HOT and I ended up burning my finger(it blistered) while trying to eat. We also ordered the Fleming potatoes and they were absolutely DISGUSTING!! They were presented well but were grey under the cheese and tasted like old, left out to long, plain potatoes. Very disappointed in the food for the price they charge. Hopefully it was just an off evening and they will do better.

Steak salad is always my go to and like always it came out perfectly done. I couldn’t reccomend this place anymore than I already have. Make sure you ask for Emma!

What a wonderful establishment. The ambiance was amazing in my opinion but if you like dim lighting it might not be as enjoyable. The service was excellent. Visited during Valentine’s weekend and it was surprisingly not very busy; no complaints here. The food was great as expected. The cheesesteak Eggrolls were delicious! Easily one of the best egg roll variations I’ve ever had. Got the 16oz USDA Prime NY Strip steak and it was cooked to perfection! The exterior char was delightful. The Caesar salad was the perfect balance of crisp lettuce and dressing; not soggy like some salads can be. The Brussels sprouts were top tier. Opted not to have the bacon lardons inside due to dietary restrictions. The perfect margaritas were as advertised! 10/10 experience and would recommend. WiFi password: joinlscnow

Honestly really good. I got the steak salad and it was great maybe slightly overdressed but I think it's only because of the blue cheese dressing which is pungent so eventually it gets a little overpowering. Get some fries to combat that. The pretzel bread & butter that they give you oh my freaking goodness so good. (And FYI, if you park in the garage next door it's three hours free parking with validation that you get an upon showing a receipt.)

We celebrated my friends bachelorette with dinner at Del Frisco’s. Our server, Evan was spectacular! He was welcoming, attentive and helpful. The manager, Payne was also amazing! Very attentive and personable. Overall experience was 10/10! Make sure you request Evan as your server!

We had a party of 8 for dinner Saturday night and it was phenomenal! Our table was ready in advance of our 6pm reservation and we were greeted politely and seated promptly. Dillon took such good care of us and he was extremely knowledgeable about all dinner options and our many questions. He was patient and perfectly explained how the chef prepares each item. Our drinks and appetizers arrived quickly and we're enjoyed by all. I ordered the 10 Oz filet for dinner and it melted in my mouth. Our group ordered a variety of items from steak, salmon, fish and chips, and even dessert. Everything was delicious! If you are looking for dining options off Broadway, I highly recommend it. It was an easy walk from Broadway and allowed us to burn some of the calories from dinner. Thanks for taking such good care of us. We will be back!

We were here two years ago when we were in town and it was amazing so naturally when we came to Nashville again, we decided to go back. Not as good. Food for the most part is incredible. We started with devilled eggs, French onion soup and the burratta salad - all amazing; highly recommend. For entrees I had the salmon (also incredible) and my husband had the ribs. He said the sauce was good, very flavourful, but the ribs themselves were on the dry side. Service was mediocre. The place wasn't very busy but it seemed to take forever to get checked on. Our drinks were empty for quite awhile before we got asked if we wanted more. Ordered coffee that never arrived, despite reminding her twice. Server was very knowledgeable and friendly, just not very attentive. She did, however, have a lot of time to spend chatting up the table behind us. Atmosphere is a bit confusing. Beautiful and fancy, obviously an up-scale place. But the music is terrible. Really should be something a little more calm to match the surroundings. Also the AC made it absolutely freezing (hence the coffee we ordered) so if you're out wandering around in the heat without a second layer, this might not be the place for you. Decent experience overall, but definitely could have been better.

Steak house
Restaurant
Char Restaurant is a laid-back spot that offers classic grilled beef dishes, as well as crab claws and pecan pie. It's a contemporary steakhouse with an old-fashioned piano-bar charm, providing nightly music in the main dining room and a cozy bar for appetizers and drinks. The menu features prime ribeye, NOLA barbecue shrimp, burgers, and home-style sides to share. This Southern-style steakhouse also serves daily lunch and dinner, along with weekend brunch.
Excellent fine dining, with good soups including the Crab, Shrimp and Andouille Gumbo, spicy and delicious. The appetizers were very good. The PEI Mussels were some of the best we’ve had and the Tomato Basil is worth soaking up with the toasted baguette. The crab claws were tiny, but you get a lot of them. Very tasty. The large, full bar and extensive wine list, complement the dimly lit steakhouse atmosphere. Service by Olivia was excellent, though there was a wait for the excellent Double-cut Fudge Brownie.

Walked in for a late dinner with no reservation. Not sure what to expect. Worth the 20/30 min wait. Angie our server was wonderful. Drinks, appetizer Crab Cakes and our main dishes were delicious. I had the Sea Bass and my husband had Duck. Would highly recommend. Neither of us were in the mood for steak but we will be back!

Char has a very upscale vibe. We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon lunch in a booth closer to the front of the restaurant. There is plenty of room for larger parties. Our waitress was very straight forward and to the point. Very efficient with very little explanation of the menu. It was my first visit. I had the Steak Frites prepared medium, however they came out well done and the fries were lukewarm and limp. The Char Burger that my friend ordered was VERY GOOD and cooked perfect Our waitress was very apologetic and really made every effort to make things right. The manager stopped by and apologized as well. We were offered dessert, the House-Made Pecan Pie which was absolutely magnificent. The 3 stars for the food was based on my meal, however I gave 4 stars overall. I will definitely give Char Restaurant another try.

We went on a Monday for lunch to celebrate being named employee of the month at work. The food is delicious with generous portions. There are New Orleans and steakhouse influences on the menu with a BBQ Shrimp inspired Shrimp 'n Grits appetizer. The onion rings are "chicken-fried" and came out in a huge stack and served with a zesty sauce. The lunch menu offers a daily meat-and-two offering and the Monday special is fried porkchop which was very delicious and a good portion for lunch. The blackened fish sandwich was blackened nicely and the slaw paired nicely. Since we were celebrating, dessert was a must. The brownie was HUGE, fudge, and served warm with pecan ice cream. Our server did a great job and overall we had a great meal, we'll definitely return.

We went to Char for brunch on Sunday. There was a nice little jazz trio playing in the bar area and it really sets the mood. The waiter made a few suggestions and we ordered our appetizers. We got the crab claws and the bbq shrimp. The crab claws were delicious and while the shrimp isn’t traditional New Orleans BBQ shrimp, they were still very tasty. The mains were all very good and the pecan pie dessert was the perfect ending to a great meal. My only criticism is my steak was over cooked but it was tasty enough even though it was well done instead of medium rare like I ordered.

I’ve hesitated and debated with myself if I should leave this review, but I decided to write it so no one else will have the sting that I got when I received my bill. I met a friend there last Sunday evening for a much needed getaway. She ordered the crab claws and I ordered the shrimp and grits and I ordered a glass of white Chardonnay. The waiter ask if I wanted a 6 or 9 oz glass and I stated 9 oz. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly and food was fantastic and the wine was delicious. This experience made me feel so much better until received my bill and discovered that a 9oz glass of wine cost me $28 bucks!!!! I was shocked about the cost, and ask the waiter if it was an error; he confirmed the price. May I add this was not top shelf wine! I paid the over 50 dollar bill because I enjoyed my meal. I think I should have been made aware of the different wine selections by the wait staff , but I take ownership also, never order wine without asking price! This was a first since i eat at upscale restaurants often but have never paid $28 for a 9 oz glass of wine. Will I go again! Sure, but will not Order the wine!

Went for lunch to celebrate a significant work anniversary. Service was terrific! Food was fine. I've heard such good things about Char, so perhaps my expectations were too high. I ordered steak frites, the fries were covered in garlic, and the steak had very little seasoning. One coworker ordered grilled chicken tenders, and the portion was quite small. Everything was properly cooked, but under seasoned.
Eric P — Google review
Not fit for foodies. This was my first time here but the food situation wasn't anywhere where it needs to compete with what's coming to Nashville. I'd even say the steak is on par with Outback Steakhouse... Which isn't that bad but I thought Char would have been better. The $25 crab cakes were flat out gross (really really awful). Pasta sides were way over cooked. Brocolli was actually nicely done with a little crunch and nice seasoning. They seem to do a good job with the fried food (onion rings). You guys do a good job with Etch, try harder at Char or you'll get eaten alive. And one last thing, be more welcoming at the front door for god's sake....at least pretend you're happy to see me.

Hand Cut Nashville is a renowned chophouse and bar that offers top-quality chops, burgers, and exclusive menu items. The restaurant also features live music for a vibrant dining experience. With a dedication to quality, Hand Cut has partnered with Greater Omaha Packing to showcase Hereford beef in their dishes. Guests can indulge in generously-sized portions of Alaskan Pollock served with hand-cut chips and homemade tartar sauce. Visitors praise the chill atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service at this location.
Hand Cut Chophouse is one of the best restaurants in Nashville in my opinion! The food was delicious, drinks were amazing and the service was out of this world! We had William as our server and he was amazing! I had the Black Truffle Coulotte which was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. My boyfriend had the Bone-In New York strip which he said was one of the best cuts of steak he has ever had. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting downtown Nashville!

One of the BEST dining experiences I’ve ever had in Nashville! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was beyond exceptional. We were lucky to have William as our server—he went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration with friends so special. I ordered the Black Truffle Coulotte, and it was cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. Everything from start to finish felt thoughtful and elevated. If you’re visiting downtown Nashville, I HIGHLY recommend Hand Cut Chophouse. You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely the best experience I’ve had in Nashville. Great food, service and hospitality from the host Alex (he goes by Walker). Coby is a rock star behind the bar, along with Tori. Taylor was our server and couldn’t have been better. Top 10 recommendation while in town.

We showed up at 530pm (with a reservation) and the hostess seated us next to another couple, very close to each other. But it wasn't necessary since there were a lot of open tables. We ordered a house salad side dish and I was very disappointed. It was mostly white romaine. Not appealing to me. I let our waiter, William, know and he said he would remove the item from our bill. I tried the braised beef and it was very good. The sauce was very tasty. My wife tried the black truffle coulotte. It was cooked perfectly and has a buttery truffle. Very good tasting. The decor is very nice and there was a live singer on stage. Open space but most tables are close to each other. The check included the unsatisfactory salad, so I mentioned it to the William and he apologize for the mistake. Overall, I think it's overpriced. I won't be returning.

This was a great location with great ambiance. Maria was a great waitress and made the dining experience so great. Definitely asking for her when we come back! The garlic butter was amazing! I’d eat it with a spoon.

My wife and I went to Hand Cut Chophouse Nashville for our 8th Anniversary. William was our server. He was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant and ask for William. You will not be disappointed. Food was delicious and service was the best that we have experienced in a long time. Thank you, William for making our Anniversary special!

I love to visit when I am in Nashville! One of the best picks on/near Broadway. Darian did such an amazing job serving a large group for my 50th birthday that we returned with a group of ladies to celebrate a 21st birthday, where Darian provided another perfect night. They let us have a cake delivered and provided full service. Appetizers are great. Steaks perfectly grilled. Tomahawks are big enough for a large group to share with Salmon or other protein choices and several sides to give everyone a lot of options. Everything we have tried has been great. I'd say parties of 4+ are the most fun as it's not a very intimate space and the patio is on a busy street if you're looking for something romantic.

Excellent steakhouse. Nicely decorated. Good vibes with a live singer. William was very attentive making sure everything was perfect. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. The manager, Walker, did a fantastic job, very personable and follows up with his staff making sure you have a pleasant dining experience. Will return when back in Nashville, highly recommend.

The RiverHouse is a chic and elegant dining venue located in downtown Nashville, offering a diverse menu featuring sushi, seafood, chops, and steaks. As a recent addition to the city's culinary scene, it has quickly become a popular choice for both locals and tourists. Operated by the BrickTops restaurant group, this establishment provides an elevated dining experience with options to suit every taste. Guests can indulge in premium dishes such as Wagyu Filet Mignon and Chateaubriand.
From the moment we walked in truly felt treated like family. A rare combination of excellent service exceptional drinks and culinary execution in the downtown Broadway area. A lot of places try to have a scratch elevated kitchen and few can truly pull it off River house absolutely exceeded my sky high expectations. This isn't by anymeans a cheep dining experience but you get what you pay for and the experience was well worth the price. I recomend coming with a medium to large sized group and ordering a bit of everything from the menu and sharing it all. The seafood was especially exceptional the produce was exceedingly fresh. A great spot for locals wandering around Broadway in-between shows or bars and an even better stop for tourists especially large Bachelorette groups looking for an elevated dining experience.
Oceanthebartender — Google review
The food itself was very good, but the service was extremely disappointing. My party and I went to dinner while visiting Broadway. We came dressed casually in jeans and t-shirts, and immediately felt judged by the staff. A server made comments about our attire, asking if we had just gotten off work and why we were dressed like that. From there, the service only got worse. Our server barely came to our table, and we had to ask just to see the alcohol menu. When we did order a starter, the server seemed surprised that we did. To make matters worse, a couple who walked in after us without a reservation was seated before us likely because they were dressed more formally. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it left me feeling unwelcome and looked down upon, as though we didn’t belong or wouldn’t pay our bill. It was a very rude and uncomfortable experience that overshadowed what could have been a great meal. Because of this, I don’t see myself returning to this location or visiting any of the company’s other restaurants.

There presentations were great. The parmesan halibut with sauce was delicious! The spinach lacked a little flavor. The service was wonderful. It wasn't too busy so we got a seat pretty easy.

Drove up from Fl for Eric Clapton, had a phenomenal meal of crab cakes, ( I have had a few in the panhandle) but these were in the top I ever enjoyed. Service was professional and SIL raved about her drinks too.

BrickTops did an incredible job hosting a 40+ person business event! We had a beautiful private room, including a private bar, at their SoBro location, which was the perfect spot to launch into after-dinner drinks on Broadway for those who wanted (but it's great to not be *right* on Broadway). The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We can't recommend them enough, especially for large groups! The servers were so attentive the entire night, the food was delicious (vegan/vegetarian options included!), and it was the perfect environment for our guests to relax, eat, and enjoy their night after a busy day. Highly, highly recommend BrickTops if you're looking to book a private dining experience. Many thanks to BrickTops management and all their staff for making our dinner a success! --The Team at Third Person

Food was great service was less than stellar. Our server I think was having a rough day. Started with a firecracker roll which had some odd flavors. Would not order again. The Hemingway filet was cooked perfectly and was super tender. The server spilled most of the first order of fries on the floor (thankfully) because they were cold and overcooked. The second side of fries were hot and cooked at the proper crispiness. Crispy Brussels sprouts were crispy but lacking some seasoning or sauce.

Amazing Beef Wellington and shout out to our server, Jonathan who took very good care of us. Job well done!

We hosted a private dining event for a group of about 30 people at BrickTop’s SoBro, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! The booking process was clear and organized, and even with some last-minute changes, the team was fast, flexible, and incredibly accommodating. The private room had a classy and welcoming ambiance that made it perfect for our company gathering. The food was exceptional — the filet mignon was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had — and the drinks and service were equally impressive. Our whole team had a great time, and I’d absolutely recommend BrickTop’s SoBro for anyone looking for a seamless and elevated private dining experience!
