Wine bar
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Hong Kong, La Cabane Wine Bistro is a must-visit for anyone eager to dive into the city's rich wine culture. Since its inception in 2012, this charming bistro has been a pioneer of the artisan wine movement, showcasing an impressive selection of over 200 unique wines that are either organically or biodynamically produced. The focus here is on small-batch creations with minimal winemaker intervention, ensuring each pour tells a story.
A gem that I would love to keep returning to. La Cabane is a cosy natural wine bar narrowly sandwiched in a row of shop lots on Hollywood Rd. Its rustic interior offers a laid-back charm, making it easy to unwind with a glass or bottle of wine. With a wide selection of natural, organic and biodynamic wines from small low-intervention winemakers across the world, it’s truly a delightful place for casual drinkers to enthusiasts and oenophiles to visit — be it with company or solo. My favourite spot is by the window; intimate enough for dates and perfect for people-watching. I had the pleasure of enjoying the weekly wine by the glass selections as well as a handpicked bottle. Food is simple, casual and homey French bistro snacks. Service is great — whether you need recommendations or already have an idea of what you want. There is a reverberating warmth throughout the bar that makes me feel right at home ☺️

We had a nice bottle of white and a couple of beers. It's a very pleasant and cosy place to end a hot day in Hong Kong.

Just finished wines at la cabane, on 1st Nov 2025. we ordered 2 bottles of red wines. Spent about 1460HK and when we were about to leave the place, we ask for water as the bottle of water at our table has finished, this European waiter gave us a look and said this is already last order. In my mind I was thinking … Erm , that’s just water? Can’t we have water , that’s quite funny right. Anyway he gave to us and guess what, he brought the bottle of water and slammed it hard on the table with an attitude as if we owe him a freaking million dollar !! Ridiculous service . Is he trying to bully us thinking we are Asian and being tourist , he thinks we are there for him to be bullied. We are singaporean and sorry to say this, never experience this attitude service in Singapore. I hope this waiter do reflect his attitude and understand we do not owe him anything. Thank you.

I like this very cosy very french bistro. The food met our expectations for the obvious… French food. There were no surprises and no a-ha moments just good quality French bistro food, lots of cheese, excellent bread and wine. There was only one server t for the night we ate here so we found the service to be a little slow. But the server was very friendly and attentive.

La Cabane is a French Wine Bar & Bistro on Hollywood Road that has been a popular expat venue over the past decade or so. During the past year as the pandemic has raged on, they have become a good take-away and delivery meal option as well. Opening hours are 11.30 until 10pm but closed on Sundays. Indoor seating is limited but atmospheric, available until 6pm while dining restrictions are in place and later when they are not in effect. We recently ordered from La Cabane through deliveroo and were quite happy with what was sent over. Everything was packaged very nicely and arrived within 20 minutes of being ordered. On the occasion, we very much enjoyed their pork pate dumplings, a French & Chinese fusion like appetiser with Comte emulsion and Szechuan Oil. This was an unexpected ingredient combination that worked rather well. Equally enjoyed was the traditional homemade foie gras, which came with an adequate amount of bread. The foie gras was a tad bit sweet but tasted just lovely. Perhaps most enjoyed on the evening was the order of stuffed artichokes with goat cheese cream. The artichoke texture was smooth and soft and the taste delicious. All of these were worth reordering through delivery again. We also ordered the roasted duck main with sweet potatoes, kale and orange. While the dish quality was good, this order didn't work as well as a delivery choice. In hindsight, this is a main best taken in due course, being eaten right out of the kitchen not half an hour or so later at home. Would happily order again at the wine bar under normal dining conditions. In the end, we were overall very happy with delivery from La Cabane and will happily order from them again in the near future. Of last note, they have a respectable collection of wines on offer. However, what is available through deliveroo is rather limited. If you want to avail of a their wider range, consider take-away from La Cabane instead of delivery.

A wine buff friend from work who knows the owner took me here. Sat in the back area which can be a little claustrophobic but we met some really friendly people here and talked to them most of the evening. The food was really tasty and the wine was delicious. I’d go back again for sure. Staff were attentive without being over bearing and all were helpful. It can get quite busy in the evenings so make sure to go early to avoid queues. Price? Can’t remember, in this location and with this quality will set you back some. Worth it in Hong Kong.

The service is excellent, and the food is delicious, with a great variety of wines. Quality of the dishes keeps impressing me every time I visit. The roasted chicken with sauce is hands down the best I’ve had in town! My another flavour is the apple pie with choco i e cream n spicy sauce - an interesting n unforgettable combination!

If you're a wine enthusiast, this is the place to be. Happy hour starts from 1-6pm, and glasses costs 60 hkd! Last time we went, there was a great selection of whites from Chile, Rose from Provence in France. The reds, was also themed Chilean, with a chianti from Italy. The food was also fantastically rustic with a fine touch. We had the lamb chop which was marinated in garlic. Their fish of the day was also priced reasonably. Their salad was super light, goes well with the whites. That said when you sit down, they pour a welcome glass which was super cool! I've never had that experience before. Saturday at 5pm, it wasn't busy! Surprisingly!

If you’re looking for a quiet place to sit and try different kinds of wine, this is the place for you. This place is tucked in a building in the middle of Central with a cozy vibe.

Some of the wines in the winelist were not available. The wines were very good. Nice experience.

Wine bar opened by the famous wine critic, offers a wide range of wines categorized by origins, styles and grape varieties. Lots of choices for ordering by glass👍. Some items have detailed tasting notes. Our somm made good recommendations according to preferences. Food is delicious, chicken wings, black truffle fries and kimchi pancakes are quite memorable. Busy and vibrant atmosphere esp. after 8pm.

Love their detailed wine tasting and attentive service! A bit of a struggle to finish all 30 types of wine, but the manager kindly extended the time. We had such a great time, will come back for another wine tasting!

Restaurant
Caprice is an upscale French fine dining restaurant located in the prestigious Four Seasons hotel. The restaurant offers a vegetarian menu and a selection of artisanal cheeses. Adjacent to the dining room, Caprice Bar provides an intimate setting for enjoying fine wines and cheeses. Guests can also indulge in seasonal cocktails crafted by skilled bartenders. Chef de Cuisine Guillaume Galliot brings his extensive travel experiences into play, infusing classic French cuisine with international flavors.
Absolutely deserving of its name, this restaurant offers exceptional hospitality paired with mind-blowing dishes. I had the pleasure of trying the Menu Connaisseur, which takes you on a delightful journey through the Pacific Ocean. The use of citrus in the sauces for each dish is exquisite and complements the baby coriander beautifully. I also appreciate the consistency and traditional Western style reflected throughout the menu. I will definitely be returning!
Yoyo W — Google review
This restaurant is good for celebration as the service is good with a nice view. We have tried the $1888/p set. The entrees are tasty with sea urchin, beef tartar with caviar. The main courses (fish & lamb) can be better. The dessert is chocolate soufflé which is not soft enough. Car park is free.
CM C — Google review
It’s a birthday celebration. Lunch set menu. Food was ok, the total seasoning was too strong and kinda salty. Would expect more refreshing dishes in summer time. However, the staff Jason and the rest of the restaurant host delivered a warm and welcoming service which made the whole experience quite pleasant. Price was fair in such nice environment and service standard.
M H — Google review
It was an absolute delight to have dinner at Caprice restaurant in Hong Kong. Special thanks to the service team for promptly addressing all our inquiries and to the chef for customizing the menu to accommodate our dietary needs. We reserved a spot for the “signature menu” and came away completely pleased not just with the dishes outlined in the menu but also delighted by the extra desserts and treats. While we did experience a lengthy wait for the main course, the staff compensated for it with ongoing updates and complimentary desserts. I rated the atmosphere a 4, as having more classical music would enhance the evening's vibe. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
Anelia B — Google review
Food was pretty up to the standard of fine dining restaurants until the main course, the duck that was smoked with cherry wood which we were really looking forward to was a bit of a disappointment, it was way too thin cut that it no longer feels like you are eating meat at all, and the taste was really so so probably because of the texture. Portion wise it is quite a fulfilling portion, by the end of the meal you will definitely feel full unless you take the express menu. Service wise they are attentive and they do have interesting and good recommendations on wine. Atmosphere wise you have a fantastic view of the Victoria Harbour if you seats next to the window. It was quite a surprise to find cigarettes butts inside the toliet in restaurant like this so it was a bit unacceptable in this area. Price wise it is an overcharged price restaurant in my opinion as there are better restaurants with better food taste and more innovative than them.

this was one of the best meals i've ever had in my life, well deserving of its unbroken consecutive rating of 3 stars for many years!! each dish was executed to perfection, superb balance of flavours and textures in every bite loved in particular the amuse bouche (burrata, caviar and anchovy mousse), beef tartare, roasted lamb (done 2 ways) and of course, my personal favourite, the unparalleled cheese selection!! the wine pairing was also amazing - even as a wine noob i appreciated the diversity of tasting notes and each glass was the perfect complement for its accompanying dish i was so full i couldn't even stomach the dainty petit fours but i heard they were yummy too views of the harbour are amazing service was also exceptional from all the staff, and special shoutout to roy for his hospitality and patience i already can't wait for my next visit

The food is truly exceptional—I’m wishing I had discovered it sooner! This will definitely be my go-to for delicious tapas-style bites and wine. The beef tartare and prawn croquettes are to die for! I recommend coming with a group of friends so you can sample a bit of everything; it’s all delish! Recommendations: Beef Tartare on Crackers $100 Prawn Croquettes $90 Hoisin Duck Empanadas $90 Croque Monsieur $100 Oysters $20

**ThinkWine: A Cozy Soho Hideout for Wine and Comfort Food** Tucked away on Shelley Street, ThinkWine offers a relaxed escape with straightforward, flavorful dishes perfect for sharing over wine. The food leans rustic and comforting, with a few standout creations. The **Charcuterie Board** delivers a satisfying mix of cured meats, cheeses, and accompaniments—nothing extraordinary, but a reliable start. Far more memorable are the **Homemade Fries**, thick-cut and golden with a crispy exterior, served with a rich aioli that makes them irresistible. **Mom’s Secret Chicken Wings** live up to their name—sticky, sweet, and deeply savory, though a crispier skin would elevate them further. The real star is the **Seafood Duck Confit Pancake**, a bold fusion of tender duck and briny XO sauce wrapped in a crispy shell—unexpected but delicious. For something lighter, the **Eggplant Flatbread** offers smoky, creamy eggplant on chewy bread, a simple but well-executed vegetarian option.

A hidden gem for wine lovers! 🍷They are located in 2/F so you could miss it but worth to try. The food pairings are really good, my personal favourites: their suuper crispy hand-cut fries, chicken wings, and their creamy prawn croquettes 🤍 Their recommendation of the Adelaide Riesling (dry, smooth, with floral & grapefruit notes) from Gentle Folk winery was a delightful surprise. Extremely friendly, helpful, and honest staff to help you pick out the wine that you want to drink. They even let you try a few wines before ordering to make sure you pick what you like; and they never try to upsell you any overpriced options. Excellent food quality at very reasonable prices too and it gets even better with their happy hour!

With an extensive wine list of over 600 curated wines and a food menu made specially for it, this is truly a wine lover’s paradise! There was a Spain-themed special on the day we came, so we got to enjoy a savory 48-month iberico ham that paired perfectly with a balanced Furmint from Tokaj, Hungary. We also got to try a Macán Rioja that was super smooth and fruity! The cheese platter was very generous, eggplant empanadas came with a pesto mayo, and their escargots were served in edible pastry shells. You must also try “the best fries in Central”, hand-cut each day and fried to perfection!

Nestled on Lyndhurst Terrace, Terroirs by LQV is a delightful new addition to Hong Kong's vibrant wine scene. This charming wine bar and lounge celebrates the essence of French culture with an impressive selection of over 2,000 biodynamic, organic, and natural wines. The concept comes from the renowned LQV group, known for their elegant wine bars and gourmet food offerings since 2014.
An excellent (and very extensive) wine list, great food and dessert to die for. Random find which was great as I was craving some wine. Ordered the chicken and lentils, then later the creme brule and paired with their house pinot. All were excellent, chicken was tender and juicy and complemented the lentils perfectly, while the creme brule was possibly one of the best I’ve tasted to date. Will definitely return again next time I’m in HK to explore more deeply their wine offerings

perfect night in this restaurant! The food is delicious, especially the parsnip soup, really amazing, very creamy and very smooth, the best soup I have ever eaten ! And the wine is absolutely fantastic! There must be second time here!

Terroirs was a joy from start to finish. The food? Packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The wine list? Thoughtful and seriously impressive. But what really stood out was the warmth of the service—genuine smiles, great recommendations, and a team that clearly loves what they do. I felt completely looked after without any fuss. It’s the kind of place you keep thinking about after you leave. Can’t wait to go back—and I’ll be raving about it to my friends.

Definitely my new go-to-spot for a sip! Such a cozy vibe with a great variety of french delights and wine selection. We have tried few grapes and settled with their monthly blind tasting game - so much fun!! (and we ended the game too, thanks to the bar manager @Fabien, exceptional hospitality!!) Definitely come back again for next round.

French restaurant
Restaurant
Joël Robuchon is a renowned French restaurant in Hong Kong that has recently been awarded its third Michelin star. The restaurant's contemporary chic style, with an open kitchen and red velvet seats arranged like a sushi bar, creates a unique dining experience. Known for its fusion of European and French fine dining with Asian influences, the restaurant offers an amusing yet delightful culinary experience. With its circular bar and open kitchen, guests can observe the preparation process while enjoying tapas-style portions of traditional French dishes.
It’s my second time visiting here :) Had an wonderful experience here again, we enjoyed the 9 course signature menu. The staff were nice and friendly, the food of course was absolutely amazing, especially the 2 white truffle dishes, and the birthday cake had this harmonious flavor, a perfect combination of rose, lychee and raspberry.
Cheryl P — Google review
I visited Robuchon on the first week of the reopening. When I arrived the interior was redecorated and redesigned completely, actually it was a whole different area. The food was quite good with lots of creativity, but lacked some speed in service, and a little bit of the taste. There wasn’t much to say as I’m not an expert at anything, except that the service was decent as all ways, even though I thought the atmosphere could be a bit better like the original. I still enjoyed my time there, and would recommend you to visit some time.
James W — Google review
Dining at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Hong Kong is always a memorable experience, and this visit was no different in terms of food quality and presentation. Every dish was beautifully arranged with great attention to detail, and the flavours were refined, balanced, and inventive — exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of this calibre. From the amuse-bouche to dessert, each course showcased precision and artistry, delivering a genuine culinary experience. However, our seating arrangement had a minor downside. We were seated at the far end of the counter, which was quite quiet and somewhat separated from the main buzz of the dining area. Part of the appeal of sitting at the counter in Robuchon is being able to watch the chefs at work and enjoy the lively interaction between the kitchen and guests. Unfortunately, from our position, we couldn’t see much of what was happening behind the counter, which diminished a bit of that signature "L’Atelier" experience. One pleasant surprise was the wine prices. The selection is broad, and the prices are notably reasonable — perhaps the most affordable among fine dining restaurants in Hong Kong. It’s uncommon to find such a thoughtful and fairly priced wine list at this level of restaurant, which definitely enhances the overall value and enjoyment of the meal. The service was generally fine and efficient, though there is room for improvement in terms of warmth and attentiveness. The staff were polite and professional, but at times, the interaction felt slightly formal and distant. A touch more friendliness and engagement would have made the experience even more memorable and personal. Overall, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon continues to deliver on its promise of exceptional cuisine and elegant dining. The food was exquisite, the wine list impressive, and the atmosphere refined — though I would recommend requesting a more central seat at the counter for a fuller experience. Despite a few minor service and seating issues, it remains one of the top dining destinations in Hong Kong for those who appreciate fine French gastronomy.
Rachel T — Google review
Have tried many Robuchon around the world and I have to say they keep their standard at a very stable level. I can rarely find a Robuchon that does not deliver a certain level of satisfaction. That being said, it also didn't give me much wow or exceptional experiences either. Just for the consistency (across countries and years), it already deserves an award. I still think it is a very good restaurant overall and definitely worth trying, knowing that people usually won't be disappointed. The HK one is one of my favorite.
Ciboysg W — Google review
Still the best fine dining French restaurant in my opinion. Be careful not to eat too much bread! I've been coming here since day one with my wife and it's always been a great experience and tasty food. Recently experienced Valentine's dinner And it was fantastic! Ate too much though. I would only wish they would update the decor and theme. The plastic leaves and plastic fruits and dark decor is becoming a bit dated I wish they would also do something about their choice of pop music that doesn't really go with the food and ambiance. That's just my opinion. Keep up the good food and service will always return for that.
James L — Google review
I’ve been dining at this restaurant for nearly 10 years, often arriving slightly early and always being welcomed with grace. That courtesy seems to have vanished post-renovation. On 1 October, I arrived 20 minutes early for a 12:30pm reservation and was refused entry by the receptionists, who insisted on serving only guests booked for 12:00 or 12:15. One staff member even cited a hypothetical scenario of 40–50 guests arriving at once — a dramatic and frankly irrelevant example (a common slippery slope fallacy!) that did little to justify their rigidity. Eventually, the manager allowed us in, but the damage was done. The receptionists’ demeanor was cold, unwelcoming, and unnecessarily confrontational. I cancelled the reservation on the spot. What makes this experience particularly disheartening is that the lunch was intended to celebrate my mother’s birthday and this has been clearly noted in our reservation. Regrettably, it seemed to carry no weight in the way we were received. A celebration that should have been joyful and memorable was instead marked by discourtesy and discomfort. The lunch menu has shrunk, with many items requiring top-ups, and prices have soared to a level that no longer reflects value. What was once an affordable luxury now feels overpriced and underwhelming. Still waiting for written confirmation that I won’t be charged a cancellation fee, as promised by the manager. The silence is telling.

High quality as expected from a michelin 3 star restaurant. Haven't been back for years, but happy to see that they have kept up their standards.. The food and service are top notch and the entire dining experience was well paced. The highlight for me is definitely the bread basket though, even though the dishes are all very good.

-Bread is not good as we expected, a bit crowed inside. -Signature disk (i.e. Caviar Jelly, Mashed Potatoes) is perfect as expected -Mashed potatoes just like a warm ice-cream, cannot imagine the texture like this. Very tasty. -Cocktail is not this strength. -Napoleon cake is the best one I had compared with another hotel. Must revisit again for this

Ta Vie is a renowned fine dining restaurant led by chef Hideaki Sato, known for blending French culinary techniques with Asian ingredients. The restaurant recently received three Michelin stars and is celebrated for its ability to evoke nostalgic memories through its harmonious flavors. Ta Vie offers a fusion of French and Japanese cooking styles, often collaborating with international guest chefs to create innovative dishes using seasonal ingredients.
Is good to be back to one of my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong. Chef Sato never fails to impress us and to be honest their desserts are getting better and better. Their food presentation is just simple and elegant nothing gimmick. Their homemade uni pasta is still one of the best I had ever had. Service wise they are friendly, professional in explaining each dishes, Chef Sato himself will even come out to present some of the dishes in person.

As we speak, food and everything in Hk is seriously pricey. Well the food here is Japanese - French~~ the location is in the pottinger hotel. The atmosphere is dark color and in oriental style. My opinion, it’s a little too dark but this is just my opinion. The service is amazing as you got served by Japanese servers and head chef. Very prompted services!🩷 For food, I love their 3 types of breads and butter. The butter is very light whipped. Food I love their 3 menu, Crispy Paella with Kegani crab, "Pot-au-feu" and fresh pasta with uni. I found them to be so comfort and heart warming. 😆😆

Everything about this restaurant reflects what one expects from a place holding three Michelin stars. I’ve been here six times already, and each new menu is a perfect 10 out of 10 — consistently exceptional. The atmosphere is discreet and refined — it feels private, composed, and quietly elegant, without a hint of showiness. The service is of the highest standard, polished yet never intrusive. It’s particularly noteworthy that the Chef personally greets guests and genuinely seeks their thoughts on each dish — a rare gesture that speaks to true hospitality. The ingredients are rare and distinguished, brought together in combinations that reveal remarkable taste and restraint. This is not a place for casual tourists — it is unmistakably a destination for those who value depth of flavour, sophistication, and culinary integrity. Unreservedly recommended to true gourmets.

Cozy atmopshere, jazzy music, nice service but do not expect several amuses bouches, mignardises nor any "wow-effect". Chef Sato sticks to his motto "pure, simple, seasonal". 3 types of bread with butter or ricotta in olive oil, very well executed french cuisine with a personal twist, and after the meal & dessert to conclude a pandan pannacotta.Chef Sato himself will come on several occassions and present dishes himself which is a great touch.
Christo C — Google review
A bit pricey , costing around 3000 per person, but I think it's so worth it. It's not like a "wow" molecular gastronomy restaurant. From every dish I can really feel that chef Sato tries to bring out the intrinsic flavors of the highest quality ingredients, a bit like the "less is more" philosophy I guess. Everything from start to finish is great. Top notch. They serve you 3 pieces of sourdough bread (each tasting slightly different) too so you'll be 1000% full Even the water they serve is from Japan ... Would appreciate even more if the restaurant incorporates local ingredients.
Melody F — Google review
As seasoned gourmets and with Ta Vie holding three Michelin stars, our expectations were extremely high – and they were fully met. After a brief challenge finding the entrance inside The Pottinger Hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Hiromi Takano. Her kindness and attentiveness set the tone for the evening, and this spirit of hospitality continued throughout, both from Ms. Takano and from Chef Hideaki Sato himself, who personally visited our table several times to explain dishes and greet guests. The seasonal tasting menu, consisting of eight courses, follows a classical French sequence while highlighting Japanese product quality and refined craftsmanship. Each dish was impeccably executed, with a precise hand and subtle seasoning that allowed the outstanding ingredients to shine. The opening dish, geoduck, immediately showcased the restaurant’s philosophy: pristine product, delicate flavors, and perfect technique. The second course – a “paella” of blue lobster encased in an ultra-thin crispy rice shell – delivered the first true highlight: creative, textural, and delicious. The homemade pasta with Hokkaido uni followed, the sea urchin luxuriously creamy and of exceptional quality. “Crab and Corn” paired sweet Japanese corn with Hokkaido crab in perfect harmony – a simple yet brilliant combination. The meat course presented a classic Limousin veal, perfectly cooked, accompanied by confit carrots and fragrant truffle – refined, elegant, and deeply satisfying. Before desserts, we enjoyed a refreshing house-made flower tea, a thoughtful transition. The desserts were as memorable as the savory courses. The first, a combination of peach and guava in mousse, gel, and a delicate crispy peach “scarf,” was already a highlight. Chef Sato enhanced the experience further by presenting a basket of ultra-ripe pink guavas at the table, their intoxicating aroma underscoring the dish. The finale – pineapple with anise, mousseline cream, and pineapple sorbet – was highly complex and beautifully balanced, a fitting close to the menu. Service was flawless: discreet yet always attentive, striking the perfect balance. Instead of the wine pairing, we opted for a bottle of the house Champagne (developed in collaboration with Mumm) – a perfect start – followed by a well-tempered, fairly priced Burgundy. In summary, Ta Vie delivered an exceptional evening on every level: cuisine, hospitality, and overall experience. It is a restaurant that truly deserves its three Michelin stars, and we look forward to returning.

One of the best meals I have in my life. By far the best 3 Michelin star restaurants that I have eaten. Food is top notch, everything is beautifully executed and it’s not just throwing expensive ingredients, but the flavours are wonderful. Service is top notch as well, I will definitely come back again!

Had dinner here a few times. 1st time here was way before it gotten its stars and you can already tell the potential is high. A combination of Japanese and French with excellent execution, turned into something very unique that belongs to chef Hideaki. Attention to every details and the service was also impeccable. Love the sourdough and butter, btw. Should definitely put it on your itinerary.

Rosewood Hong Kong is a luxurious hotel that opened in 2019, offering top-notch amenities such as an outdoor pool with stunning harbor views, fine dining options, a bar, and personalized butler service. The hotel's Butterfly Patisserie has gained popularity for its delectable desserts created by award-winning executive pastry chef Holger Deh. Some of the must-try treats include the black forest cake and a grand mille-feuille.
Location is very convenient, direct entrance to the mall, but not too crowded. Lots of good restaurants (Spanish Blue social, Indian Chaat), bar with live music. The room is quite big and there are two showers, no need to wait anymore :) Not really big spa and pool. But everything else is great.
Natalia T — Google review
We recently stayed at the Rosewood Hong Kong and found the experience to be a mix of highs and lows. The room itself was beautiful—spacious, elegantly designed, and very comfortable. The building's architecture is stunning, and the views from the hotel are truly breathtaking, offering a wonderful perspective over the city. However, the spa area was quite disappointing. The steam room was almost unusable due to the extremely high temperature; you can’t even sit down because the seating area is so overheated that you risk burning yourself the first time you try. This made the experience uncomfortable rather than relaxing. Additionally, the showers in the spa had a noticeable presence of drain flies, which raised concerns about the overall hygiene and maintenance of the area. To make matters worse, the water in the jacuzzi did not feel very clean, which detracted further from the spa experience. Another issue I faced was with personal belongings that were left forgotten in the bathrobe and subsequently discarded. It did not feel like the staff took an active or personal approach in handling the situation. Instead, I was simply comforted with a pre-written letter, which came across as rather impersonal and dismissive. Overall, while the accommodation and views were excellent, the spa facilities and certain aspects of staff service left much to be desired. I hope the management addresses these issues to better align all areas of the hotel with its otherwise high standards.

2 weeks for my business trip in Hong Kong 我選擇住在這裡作為我經常住的酒店,但我從來沒有寫過評論。 ☺️❣️It is a hotel chain and residential chain for sale. Residence is currently very popular around the world. This hotel started from a small boutique hotel focused on Asia and expanded rapidly until it became a world-class hotel chain ranked The world 50best Hotels 2024. Of course, this hotel in Kowloon is not just a typical Rosewood hotel. Here, it focuses on providing One Stop Service such as luxury bars, spas, excellent food options for ex. The Butterfly Room is known as a shop with a luxurious atmosphere. High quality food and especially during the afternoon tea here focuses on delicious pastries. Delicious cakes The comfort that comes is very complete. Personally, I like Rosewood's accommodation chain very much. Another hotel in Hong Kong that is beautiful and very convenient to travel. Or anyone who wants to open a good accommodation experience, I recommend this place. The staff here is very cute. I am impressed with the service. Thank you all very much and I will come back here again soon.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at in the world! This is my 5th Rosewood branded hotel. I've stayed at the ones in 1)Phnom Pehn,Cambodia, 2) Vancouver, Canada, 3) Kona Village, Big Island, and 4) Rosewood Mandarina, Mexico. This original masterpiece demonstrates the Rosewood brand in every detail. The excellent service begins when you first step out of your taxi and your luggage is taken quickly away to the warm welcome. The rooms are amazing especially the bathrooms. The Victoria Harbour view from your window is a million dollar view and makes it a ultimate must when staying in Hong Kong! Waking up and going to bed with that view and bright lights! I really enjoyed having afternoon tea in the Butterfly room and enjoyed the live music and drinks at Darkside. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here!

I’ve been coming to HK since the 1970’s. During those 50 years I always stayed at the Peninsula. The OG. The Grande Dame. No more. One day I thought it would be fun to try something different. I never went back to the Peninsula. The food, service, views, everything is top notch. They have corner suites that face the Bay. My favorite hotel in Asia.

Rosewood Hong Kong is undoubtedly an exceptional hotel, though there is room for improvement—especially given its status as one of the most expensive hotels in the city. I stayed in a double room priced at approximately **$7,000 HKD per night**. While most staff members were charming, courteous, and provided excellent service (such as delivering my takeout directly to my room), my overall experience fell short of expectations. During my **four-day stay**, Liverpool FC’s team was also lodging at the hotel. Unfortunately, this led to several inconveniences: - **Unpleasant Security Interactions**: Security personnel frequently demanded proof of my reservation, treating me as though I didn’t belong. Their demeanor was often **rude and dismissive**, which made me feel unwelcome. - **Restricted Amenities**: Facilities like the **gym and sauna were locked** for Liverpool’s exclusive use. While I understand prioritizing high-profile guests, this approach made regular guests feel like second-class patrons. Given the **steep price point**, I expected a more **inclusive and seamless experience**. Instead, I felt **embarrassed and alienated**. For **$7000/night**, I believe the service should be impeccable—yet I’ve received comparable (if not better) hospitality at hotels costing **$1,500–$2,000 HKD**. That said, the hotel’s **breathtaking ocean views and abundant natural sunlight** created a truly **serene and uplifting atmosphere**, which I greatly appreciated. **Final Verdict**: Rosewood Hong Kong has **luxury potential**, but inconsistent service and preferential treatment of celebrity guests detract from its value. With refinements in **guest equality and staff professionalism**, it could truly justify its premium pricing.

Review of Rosewood Hong Kong – Experience at XX Bar My experience at the Rosewood Hong Kong on Saturday night was surprisingly disappointing. A few friends and I decided around 10:30 p.m. to stop by for a drink. We first approached XX Bar, hoping to sit outdoors. The host informed us there were no tables available, which was understandable. We mentioned we would check DarkSide and, if no space was available there, return to XX to sit indoors. DarkSide was indeed full, and when we went back up, we decided to see if Bayfare Social’s outdoor area was open. It was already closed but while we were speaking with the Bayfare team, a staff member from XX suddenly came running out to tell us a table had just become available outdoors. In the span of three minutes, a table that supposedly didn’t exist had appeared. If the team knew guests were about to leave, we would have gladly waited, but the lack of communication and coordination was quite frustrating for a property of this level. Once seated, we ordered our drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, the issue came when it was time to pay. We clearly requested for the bill to be split equally among four cards, which is a very common and straightforward practice in Hong Kong and across Asia. Despite this, the host took all four cards and ended up charging only two one for approximately HKD 548 and another for about HKD 160 completely ignoring our request. He later admitted he had taken all four cards but only tapped two of them. We then had to wait an additional 20 minutes while the charges were voided and reprocessed, which, while appreciated, could have been avoided entirely if instructions had been followed. Even after the correction, the final amounts charged to each card were still not equal one guest was charged significantly more than the others. For a property of Rosewood’s calibre, the service felt careless and inconsistent. The experience lacked the attentiveness and precision expected at this level. I hope the management takes note, as guests expect more professionalism and coordination from a team representing such a highly acclaimed hotel.

Traduction in english and french: Execrably bad hotel, to avoid !!! the service is dismal: 1) the employees are always absent, or they are busy playing video games and they close the door during the opening's hour... and they ignore doors bells... 2) breakfast is a scam, it's very far from the hotel (2km) and we only got 2 times of breakfast for 29 days of rental and they promise a full breakfast in the booking... 3) very poor soundproofing of the rooms by the slamming of poorly designed doors 4) poorly renovated room, with a broken door to the shower room, it never closed, with humidity stains on the ceilings 5) no wardrobe, no individual fridge in the rooms 6) and other problems TO AVOID!!! A EVITER!!!

Rooms are small but adequate. Shower is over the toilet in a very small bathroom. Rooms have aircon so are comfortable, and convenient location in North Mong Kok.
Malcolm K — Google review
Poor service. feel like a hostel more than a hotel. Wifi with no internet. So hard to find. And counter check-in with no employee.
Ketchup — Google review
So dirty, and very unkind. I strongly recommend u to book the other hotel.

Not a hotel.. More like a hostel.. Poor service
Andre J — Google review
(Translated by Google) The room is in a side room and the bathroom is so small that I almost have to sit on the toilet to take a shower. The air conditioner can't adjust the temperature. What's worse is that the wifi is just for decoration and cannot be connected at all. There is no service staff. I have to go on a trip. Travelers who have already paid are in a bad situation (Original)

(Translated by Google) The room and bathroom are very small. The air conditioner is too loud and a bit noisy at night. However, the Internet is fast and overall it is pretty good. (Original) 房間跟廁所超小 冷氣聲音過大晚上有點吵 不過網路很快整體來說是還不錯

(Translated by Google) "Boutique" is a bit of a stretch. This is a utility class room at an almost fair price. Rooms on 10th floor no wifi, 16th floor room wifi works fine. Double bed looks small, not sure if 2 people actually fit. The front desk offers a small gift for a high vote, a major bribe. At least you're not in chungking and there's a nice one downstairs and a great roast goose restaurant nearby.
