we were out with a greeter, which is someone that lives here in the city and takes people around to show them their sites and one of the siteswas this restaurant. She said we would really enjoy it and we went and did enjoy it. The waiter that started with us definitely could speak English, which I was very happy but two or three other people help with the serving in the cleaning and the bill not one only so there’s not much I can say we got in and out without any issues We had one of these little alcove rooms. The food was good. I had the hack the potatoes and vegetables that came with. It was delicious. and we also had the goulash and tomato soup. The atmosphere was really interesting. One of the things that made me smile they had a computerized robot running around with the silverware and dishes. It just seems so out of place in this ancient old wine cellar with this modern computerized somewhat like a butler, but I enjoyed the whole atmosphere and if you’re in the area, I would definitely give it a try menus are in German and English

A nice restaurant located inside an old wine cellar, it is in the center of the old city of Bremen and has reasonable prices seeing as it is right next to the Dom. The food here was great, I loved the Schweine and Rind braten. I dont think I have had such a good braten in a while. The service was good as well, friendly servers, they had a robot that takes dirty plates to the kitchen. The atmosphere was great too, they have old massive beer barrels. They even have booths with art on the walls, but i believe you need to ask specially to get it. It is a good choice if you are in the center and want to eat lunch as there weren't a whole lot of people. I do recommend. -Roberts Kalejs

Great atmostphere! We were lucky enough to get a reservation here. (Tip: If nothing is available online, stop by in person.) We had our own private room/booth off to the side. The cellar is beautiful. Food is good as was the service. We had the duck and meatballs all washed down with a bottle of their cabernet sauvignon. Very fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience this fine restaurant!

Ate here on 22May25. The hostess was really rude to us for some reason when we arrived to confirm our reservation. Dismissive and even slammed the menus on the table when we finally sat down. This really puts a sour note on what was pretty subpar food, small/bland portions. I guess the old wine cellar look is kind of cool, but looking at the pictures is enough for that. 2/5 there are many better restaurants within a 5 minute walk of this place. Try Katzen Café for a romantic evening or any other place to avoid your party being mistreated.

We found out that Schüttinger is one of the oldest beer houses in Bremen, so we wanted to try their own beers while we were here. We tried both the blonde and the red — both were good, but my favorite was the red. Luckily, we caught happy hour, so we only paid €3 per glass — unbelievable!

Beer was good, service as well especially a Hindu lady, Unfortunately we were offered a very noisy room and managers were reluctant to our request to find other table. Swine haxe was just aceptable, meet was hard and dry, do not recommend it. Schnitzel was better but nothing extraordinery, just OK.

We went there without reservations but they still entertained us. I ordered pork knuckle and shared it with 2 persons because it has a very big serving. I also liked the mushroom soup that we order. My husband ordered schnitzel and he also liked it. This is our best dining experience in bremen. We will definitely return!!!

The cafe was pretty.The cake was very delicious.The waiters was so kind.strawberry cake and cappicino bear and cafe cream were good .We paid 15 eruo only.Cafe space has a nice designe.

We had to wait 20 minutes for the the food to arrive but it was simply delicious and worth the wait. We had the Rosentee and Granatapfeltee as well as the Bremer and Bremerin breakfast.

We stopped by this lovely tea house in Bremen, and it was such a delightful experience. Their scones are honestly from another world — freshly baked, soft, and absolutely delicious. The whole atmosphere was calm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing break. I’d definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Bremen!

We stopped by to rest a bit and enjoyed our late morning coffee on a terrace. We went with their house brews supplied by local roasters and got a cream tea cake on a side. All was great. They serve those coffees in a pot, which was handy outside, since it stayed warn and allowed us to enjoy the atmosphere for a longer time period. We especially liked a service there, despite being all full inside, guys served us very quickly outside as well, were friendly and spoke well English. It was a pleasure to be there.

Unbelievably delicious food! I know this might sound silly but their croissants are out of this world! I love every bit about this place, I get it some reviews did not like how they were welcomed initially but that is somewhat expected from a place that is really busy! it's a multi story restaurant that is apparently always packed with customers, we came and asked for a table for 5 or so and we were fine with waiting, we waited for around 10 minutes and once our table was ready we were welcomed properly. I totally recommend visiting this place for a nice breakfast, it is advisable to call them ahead and reserve a table =)

We were looking for a place to have lunch and stopped at this restaurant. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We saw lots of people having tea and cakes, which looked super good, but we ordered pasta and flammkchen. The food was excellent! The price is also fair. We really enjoyed this fabulous lunch. Next time we will definitely come for cream tea and scones :)

This is a lovely old pub. Nice character. It is tiny and difficult to get to the bar and impossible to get a seat, but that is due to the size which adds to the character.

1885 Die Burger in Bremen really delivers! The beef burger was juicy and flavorful, and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy. I went for the ChiliCheesyCheeseburger—spicy, cheesy, and just the right kick. Service was quick and very friendly (Yagmur), the interior cosy and quiet, with a few tables outside. 🍔🔥🍔

After a very long drive this restaurant was everything we needed. Amazing service, by Yaguruv (name might be written wrong, sorry for this if you ever read it 😅 ), who opened up a table for us while we did not reserve, an amazing burger with great fries and overall a very nice establishment. Service leaves much to be desired. Both times coming here, no one gives you a menu you have to flag someone down to order and trying to pay takes c. 30 minutes. Drinks and food are okay but not worth the hassle of coming here. When there are so many staff members milling about it shouldn’t be that hard to get passable service.

Been travelling alot in europe since past years, also a big foodie…. One of the best breakfasts i ever had. It stayed with me… the ambience, every one is really relaxed and easy going. Their team does amazing work… their kitchen is their power plant. Everything was extra ordinarily yummy. I loved it.

Visiting Bremen, breakfast here is like must have. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Dining outside with the river view maks really calm and relaxed.

We had the schnitzel with champignon sauce, along with traditional thick potato slices and spinach with cheese — everything was delicious. The schnitzel was especially flavorful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place was recommended by a friend, and I’d definitely recommend it as well.

It was a beautiful place, overlooking the river, and inside it was just as beautiful. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The problem was that we booked a table at 11.30am and at that time we could no longer order brunch, although brunch is signposted until 12pm. This situation was unpleasant and the service wasn't the best either. The employee was friendly, but it was clear that there was some confusion between staff, as we had to wait half an hour to pay. But it's a good place to enjoy the view and the sun and have a bite to eat.

Really cool brunch / lunch location in the city of Bremen. For 15€ you have a huge buffet with lots of variety. Not a lot of vegan options. Unfortunately there was only one fork for the bacon and the French toast, which is kind of weird if you’re vegetarian, would be good if they could separate meat from non meat. Pancakes are cold, but good. Service is friendly and approachable.

I had the chicken wrap here. Might have been a bit bigger if you'd ask me. The taste was good though. Waiting was quite long. We were informed about this on time, but even then you might wanna consider hiring an extra cook on the busy hours/days. We ordered a bottle of wine. Normally you'd pour the first sip in for a customer, and allow them to taste. This didn't happen. The girl I was with made this evening just perfect! Glad we moved inside and got seated on the couch.

Excellent coffee, lovely atmosphere and nice staff. The coffee is actually one of the best in Bremen (after making a coffee tasting tour). Two stars off because it’s cash only and it’s freakishly expensive. I do coffee tours very often and to find prices in Bremen similar to London and Copenhagen is bizarre!

During a 3 nights stay, I was there twice for brunch. Family owned business of husband and wife, which always tells me an authentic and unique experience. For vegan people, this place is a gem. Everything on the menu is special, 95% you won't find the food in another restaurant. All ingredients used are 100% healthy, even the dessert. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bremen!

Best part of Bremen! Stopped here for lunch while driving between cities. The food is delicious and healthy. Decor is minimalist while cozy. Even bought some of their homemade peanut butter. Lots of vegan and gluten free options.

Came here with VERY high expectations as this is a pretty famous place. When I came in, the place was not full at all but I was left there standing in front of the bar for a good 5 minutes before someone came out of the kitchen to assist. However, this wouldn’t really be a gigantic issue by itself. Unfortunately, when I asked if they had a table available for coffee and cake, the waiter responded quite poorly while walking to another table and kind of throwing the menu on a table. After that I waited another good 10/15 mins to order (again, the place was not full at all). After taking my order in a dismissive way, I waited again another 10/15 mins to get a coffee and a slice of cake. While eating, another foreigner came in ordering coffee to go and he was treated badly as well. The cake was ok but nothing special and I definitely had better coffee in town. Prices are crazy expensive for what you get. The location is nice but nothing incredible. Very disappointed as many suggest to come here to have a good time and food but this was not the case.

Wonderful vegan food, fantastic service (and amazing dessert). We had the chickpea curry and Buddha bowl then the salted caramel and double choc pecan raw bars with coffee. Everything tasted great and the service was perfect! It was quite sad that we had to leave, we could have stayed all day trying out amazing vegan food!

I went to the shop looking for a nice cupcakes and end up buying some cheesecakes and cake pop. The staff was very friendly and the ambient was like really nice. You can find a little bit difficulty for if you’re going by car because it’s on the street and not much parking Space But overall is very nice experience I would definitely recommend it. The cupcakes taste really delicious and rich in taste. They have other Drinks options and coffee as well.

Extremely lovely small café with macarons, cupcakes, cake pops, milkshakes, iced coffee etc. The owners and staff are extremely nice people, and the decor makes the place really come together. Just don't assume anything there is "light". Every milk-based drink comes with a topping of cream, shaved chocolate and marshmallows. Be ready for a sugar rush :)

This is a really great place for breakfast or lunch. They've really nailed their porridge/granola type dishes (my favourites) and the coffee is very good too.

This place had the best falafel I've had in my life! Their sauce was outstanding the service was friendly and very welcoming. Even if you're not interested in the traditional falafel meal there are choices for everyone! The pizza was great and the vegetarian food really hit the spot. I highly recommend it!

This is the place we dream about! This is our first stop on every visit to Bremen. We try to eat here every day, sometimes a couple of times/day. We get their spicy Döner Rollo. We've tried them all over Germany and this is our favorite. They are friendly, efficient, offer a good value, and make delicious food. What's not to love? Go. You won't regret it.

I think this is by far the best döner restaurant in Bremen. It is a place that can easily enter the top 5 according to the doner kebab I have eaten in many parts of Germany and in the places mentioned in the most famous lists. You should definitely try it.

It's an old school Turkish Kebab restaurant, somewhat Legendary in Bremen. The owner established this resto in the 90's (CMIIW) and the business still run ing up until now. Everytime me and mt wife had lunch there, we always bought Donner Teller Mix. The taste is really good and you could ask the waiter to add spices in your food. From more than 20 turkish kebab shop that I've ever visit in northern Germany, this one is the top of the list. We always ate there whenever we visit the city. Keep up the good work

Cool, cozy bar with a retro vibe. Menus are made out of old BRAVO magazines from the 90’s so you can relive the worst time of your life. Visitors are pretty hip so plenty of people to talk to. Has a smoking lounge inside and a nice variety of mixed drinks to order. Drinks are a bit expensive but not weak. The Long Island is reasonably priced for what you get. They even have a SNES so you can have a nice night out with friends even on a Sunday since it’s not as crowded.

During summer time, you can also use benches on the street. However, the downside is inside of place. You do sit in cozy chairs but your friends end up being far away which makes conversation quite difficult.

Wow! Special X-mass burger at Christmas market in Neustadt was a highlight of this Christmas markets’ season. Incredible mix of Arabic light bread and super local German stuff. Will come back to you next time!

The bread used for the burger is one of the softest and most delicious ones we've had, and the burgers themselves are perfect too. When the weather in Bremen is good, this is the perfect place to relax and have some good food.

I really love the concept. There are three versions of either meat, vegetarian or vegan burgers. I'm not a vegetarian but i tried the chilli cheese vegetarian burger and it tasted great! You couldn't even tell the difference between regular meat. The fries(pommes) were thick but crispy and well seasoned. I'll definitely visit again.

Finally I became a regular of this roaster. The freshness, roasting quality, bean quality of this place is fantastic compared to their prices. I order online and also sometimes go to their small and quiet cafe at the city center. I can’t recommend here enough, you can buy/drink quality coffee from here anytime.

Absolutely the best roaster and coffee in Bremen. In a city with limited specialty roasters, this is a gem. I always enjoy my coffee here and the staff add to the joy by being super friendly and wanting to chat about coffee. I visit Bremen a few times a year and make sure to grab a bag and enjoy a few hand filter coffees. The cafe itself is also nicely done and you can always find delicious pastries and cakes. Definitely recommended.
