Food was phenomenal, amazing taste and presentation.. we loved everything we ordered.. The reason for my 4 star is that it took 30 mins to serve the grilled waffles, then after we asked they served the open face sandwich after another 36 minutes… slow service although the place was not full!

Great place for brunch. Attentive and friendly staff. Poured us the pairing beer for the desert during lunch to satisfy our palate. Would come out again. Schnitzel was amazing.

Over hyped classic pub food. I visited for lunch and got an open faced sandwich the schnitzel and fried cheese. Sitting at the bar counter looking at the kitchen all three single guests commented on the very slow service. The team were very nice, but overwhelmed. I wanted to do a few glasses of natural wine, but my server was not completely familiar with the list and I ended up going for a bottle of something familiar to avoid some more awkward interactions. It’s a shame that they didn’t know the list. The open sandwich of chicken and asparagus was great. My schnitzel was well cooked but not amazing. And I was advised to go for the fried cheese for dessert. This was a massive chunk of breaded cheese that was not very flavourful. Overall it was nicely cooked pub food. But nothing was great. This would be fine, if the prices were pub prices. Whilst there is not much wrong with Barr it is not worthy of the hype or price in my opinion.

We had a great evening at Barr — the food and atmosphere were both excellent. As a family, we really enjoyed the relaxed yet upscale vibe, which made for a memorable fine dining experience without the typical formality or stress. We ordered the schnitzel, cod, beef tartare, and Mackerel fish. The schnitzel was the standout — perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The beef tartare was also a highlight, incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The desserts were decent, though not particularly memorable. All in all, while it may not have been the absolute best high-end meal I’ve ever had, the overall experience — from the food to the setting — was top-notch. If you’re looking to spend a relaxed evening enjoying quality food in a beautiful space, Barr is definitely worth a visit.

We had the set menu for four and really enjoyed the food. The restaurant was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, which we appreciated. Standout dishes were the beef tartare and the cod — both beautifully done and full of flavor. Overall, a great food experience. That said, the service felt a bit dry and could have been warmer to match the quality of the meal.

We had a 4 courses dinner menu. The baked cod with spinach made a great start, it was delicious. The beef tartar mixed with gooseberries created an interesting flavor combination. The dessert was a bit acidic for my liking. The restaurant was bustling, with the staff attentively serving customers. I liked how lively this place is, so I could unwind and relax while enjoying my food. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place is always full of diners.

Fantastic 3-course lunch! Waffle with vendace roe, classic schnitzel, and fresh raspberry sorbet – all perfectly cooked and beautifully served. We had a 3-course lunch menu that was a delight from start to finish. The waffle with vendace roe was absolutely fantastic – crisp, light, and full of flavor. The main course, a classic schnitzel with browned butter, capers, and crisp pickled cucumbers, was spot on. Dessert, a refreshing raspberry sorbet with salted crème anglaise, was both elegant and perfectly balanced. Friendly service and a beautiful view – well worth a visit! Thorsten knows what he is doing.

Seriously delicious. My husband and I came two days in a row and tried 8 different items across our visits— the cardamom bun, milk bread, seeded rye roll (with butter and cheese), pear frangepane, vanilla bun, almond pastry, princess cake, apple tart with vanilla cream. My top picks were the cardamom bun, frangepane, and the vanilla bun. However, I don’t think there are any bad options here. Everything was top quality. One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth a visit (or a few)!

What a bakery! Lovely place in Osterbro, 10'~15' by bike from the city center. You can takeout or eat on one of the outdoor tables near the entrance. Probably the best bakery I've ever been to. The apple tart is really outstanding if you're lucky enough to find it. A must visit if you're a foodie in CPH! Visited in Sep. '25.

Visited around 1 pm on a weekday. There was quite a long line reaching out to the street, and I waited about 30 minutes. There were a few empty outdoor tables, so you can grab a seat while waiting in line. I bought the cardamom roll, almond croissant, and milk bun — all were delicious, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Very rare that the food actually lives up the level virality and hype that this bakery has received! The cardamom bun easily exceeds the expectations! So delicious! It’s baked consistently throughout the day so it’s always fresh no matter when you get it. What makes delicious is that there is cardamom and syrup laced in inside each crevice of the knot without being too sweet at all. It’s incredibly moist. It’s kept its price consistent over the years even though there’s lines all day! Absolutely a world class bakery Tip: visit in the afternoon to avoid the large queues. The best bakery in Copenhagen and this is coming from someone who doesn't have sweet tooth. 100% get the cardamom bun otherwise you'll regret leaving without it. There is a cute park close by with benches, would recommend sitting there instead of trying to find space in their small front porch.

The hype is real. One of the longest lines I've seen and been in to get into a bakery in a while. I got the brioche bun that came with apples. It was amazing. Blew me away. I also got a small box of shortbread cookies to go and a milk bun. Worth waiting line or getting up extra early and beating the crowds. Nice neighborhood to walk around afterwards. The new port neighborhood is down the street from this bakery.

Ever since I could afford to travel and try the best food in the world, Noma has been at the top of the list. For over half a decade, I have been trying to get a booking, no matter what season, and I’ve been panicked since I heard the rumours of their imminent closure. Despite all that, after years of trying, a booking for Noma 2.0’s Summer Season finally was in the cards. I was a bit skeptical going into this, with the expectation of it being the “best meal of my life” so far. I love meat, so I was a bit worried with the vegetable focused menu. Boy, was I completely caught with my pants down. Long story short, Noma does live up to its reputation and has claimed its title, in my books, as the best meal of my life so far. I think the careful consideration of the produce, the specialization of Noma’s fermentation techniques, as well as the attention to detail by the staff, truly showcases why Noma deserves the flowers it’s been getting for the better part of two decades. If we’re being nitpicky, the dessert courses were a bit lacking, with the second nut ice cream dessert doing the heavy lifting (absolutely a favourite dessert from recent memory). Speaking on the savoury courses, I’ve typically come to notice a pattern with Michelin/fine dining. There will be a handful of dishes that are pretty “meh”, a good chunk of “wow that’s good”, and maybe, just maybe one or two “holy that’s amazing”. Noma’s savoury dishes had a “holy that’s amazing” almost entirely across the board. I can maybe think of 1 or 2 that were “wow that’s good” and no “meh” dishes. To highlight my absolute favourites: the wasabi leaf bouquet, the rose octopus with peaso sauce, and my absolute favourite dish, the flower salad with caramelized barley koji. To further add to that, the service provided by the staff is bar none, the best we’ve received. From warm welcomes, enthusiastic explanations, and even making note of our pace and matching it accordingly, their attention to detail truly is one-of-a-kind I’m truly grateful to have dined at Noma and really understood how they’ve come to impact the food scene globally. I highly recommend making the journey here, I know that if I’m lucky to get a reservation for Game & Forest Season, I’ll drop everything to make it!

I have mixed feelings about my Noma experience. I have been following the restaurant and Rene Redzepi for some years now and dining at Noma was very high on my bucket list. After being on the waiting list for a while, we finally got a reservation which coincidentally landed at my birthday. My wife and I made a 2,000km (round) trip just for this dinner. The expectations therefore were high and excitement to the max. The location of the restaurant is exceptional, to see how a restaurant with this pedigree operates was an unforgettable experience, I was star struck by seeing Chef Redzepi in person. The staff take care of you from the very beginning until the end. The kitchen is an impressive machinery of people. The restaurant itself is beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The whole setting is nothing short of perfect. Now the food, our experience included 16 courses and wine pairing, I can recognize all the research, technique and passion put into every dish, the presentation, textures and flavors you encounter are special and unexpected. There is a big but though, for me food is a big passion and what defines the dishes I remember is ultimately the pleasure that they generate when I put them in my mouth and I have to painfully say, there was maybe one of the 16 courses that came close to that but not close enough. In summary, the box is ticked but the excitement and all the expectation was clouded by the failure to bring joy to my mouth.

A truly remarkable restaurant, which I cannot recommend enough. We were there for ocean season and as expected every dish was unexpected and remarkable. It was a very well balanced menu, with more experimental dishes balanced by more traditional dishes. We felt very at ease at the friendly and more casual atmosphere and we were truly impressed by the thoughtfulness, quality, fun, thoughtfulness, novelty and balance in the entire menu. The pairing was excellent as well. I cannot wait to see what happens next at Noma. Thanks!

Best restaurant I have ever been to. From the beginning you feel like a good friend of the restaurant - everyone is so nice and friendly in a very casual way. The food is something special and unique in a way which only Noma is making it. If you ever have the chance - grab it!

We were here for a pop-up event with ice cream and coffee as well as tasting of Noma's amazing creations. Following up on the pop up, we have now dined at Noma. We got the summer menu sitting at the shared table including 10 couples. This was a great experience, meeting different people from all over the world here for Noma! The settings are amazing! What a vibe! The team is the highlight! 60 employees working in sync, and in the center of the restaurant to serve 60 diners. The food was creative and attractive as well as tasty. But... If you are looking for flavors that wow you, I did not get that. It was more of a total experience and the story behind the food. Also, while the wine pairing was very good, the juice pairing was less so, with all but two of the juices tasting like watered down versions saving calories. At the end of the evening, drink still in hand we were taken on a tour of the restaurant. The tour ended at a door where we were shown out - we'll have to see if we can get a drink in the lounge another time. I want to thank the amazing team for being how they are! So many smiles, welcoming us and genuinely being there for the diners!

A once in a lifetime experience. We were there for the first night of the summer menu and loved it. We sat at the shared dining table and it exceeded our expectations. It was lovely meeting people from around the world and experiencing the meal together. The food is creative, inspiring, and inventive. The wine pairing was fantastic and featured many unique bottles and winemakers. They also infused inspiration from their time in Japan throughout the meal and paired some dishes with sake. The staff went above and beyond during the entire meal. They also gave us a tour of the restaurant and Noma Projects after dinner. So grateful to have experienced Noma and meet all the staff that make the magic happen!

Plentiful market with a variety of different fresh foods and eats all in one area. It is very close to the Nørreport Station, making it really accessible and convenient. There are juice shops, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, and much more. You can come here for local shopping or to eat some really good food. This place has really good ice cream and juice as well! Highly recommend visiting.

Lively market with lots of great food options! • Ma Poule – I had the Pluma Rossini. The foie gras paired with pork was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! • Hallernes Smørrebrød – A great way to taste traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches. They offer different flavors, and I tried the smoked salmon and blue cheese. The presentation was beautiful and perfect for photos. • Hav – I tried their sashimi platter and oysters. Super fresh and tasty!

This was the standout attraction for us in our 4 day stay in Copenhagen, and we came here every morning for breakfast, stocked up on cheese and salads for lunch, dropped in for tea, coffee and pastries, and twice for dinner. There’s, a small, overpriced fruit and vegetable market between the two buildings, but the real stars here are the specialist stalls inside selling pastries, snacks, cheese and meats, fresh seafood, tea and coffee and just about anything else you can think of. It’s not the biggest food hall in Europe, so it’s easy to navigate, but every stall is a gem. A must visit, often, on any trip to Copenhagen.

TorvehallerneKBH is an amazing food market i the heart of Copenhagen! I visited looking for fresh stenbiderrogn (lumpfish roe), which is only available during the spring season. The vendors were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great tips on how to enjoy the roe. I bought fresh roe and made a traditional Danish dish at home: small pancakes with a dollop of sour cream, finely chopped onion, and fresh roe on top. It was absolutely delicious - delicate, creamy, and festive. Perfect spot for anyone looking for high-quality seafood and traditional Danish delicacies. Highly recommend!

Simply amazing selections of fresh everything. Definitely the place for foodies to hangout and have a drink as the afternoons are quite busy. Bring a basket and try something new or that you’ve never seen before 😋 stay hungry my friends

We started with their spritz and ordered the large charcuterie platter from the menu. For pizza, we chose the first option featuring stracciatella with added anchovies. I don’t recall the name of the other pizza, but it wasn’t my favorite. The atmosphere is inviting, everything is made in-house, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening!

It’s not the baest! Great service… but the food does not deliver. Non of the dishes were outstanding. Yes, everything is done with ecological ingredients, but only that fact does not allow for these prices. Hard to believe that we pay for a simple menu with a shared pizza and two drinks way over DKK 1000:- It is a pity, because the base of this restaurant is what I fully support. I hope that they’ll get a skilled head chef who flips this Restaurant back to its feet. Until then, go somewhere else! The street is lively. The toilets are dark for a reason.

Had the nduja pizza and the potato pizza. Taste wise I would say there was something missing on both to give it that extra something. Flavour wise there was something missing. The dough was spot on though and was nice and crisp. However for some of the best pizza in Copenhagen I would say this is what the average 'upscale' pizza places in Melbourne Australia is like for less than half the price.

Just go here! You will not regret it. Can’t believe I didn’t have this on the itinerary. We were on the way to Poulette when we smelt this so decided to come in and share a pizza between two. Freaking YUM! Chewy yet crisp pizza dough. Sweet tomato sauce but in a good way where you know the tomatoes were good and not just added sugar. Stracciatella? Say less WOW

I had this restaurant on my list when I planned my trip to Copenhagen, and I actually came to try it. Can you believe it? I was completely speechless — because of how disappointed I was. The wine tasted terrible, almost like it had been mixed with water. When I arrived, there were two other tables of customers who came in at the same time as me. I waited for my pizza for ONE FULL HOUR, while both of those tables finished their meals and left. My pizza still hadn’t arrived. So I called the manager and asked, “How much longer do I have to wait for my pizza?” You know what he said? “You know, dishes don’t always come out at the same time.” I mean… seriously? I had already been waiting for an hour! When the pizza finally came, I thought, “Well, after waiting this long, it has to be amazing.” But after the first bite, all I could think was — “Is this really the best you can do?” I was beyond disappointed.

If you want to sit inside which is more like a restaurant, you’ll definitely need a (can be made online) reservation. Otherwise, most of the time, outside area and the bar are open for walk-ins. Check out the working times since they’re not open between lunch and dinner servings. Pizza (only 8 types) sizes aren’t that big. You can prefer menu (425kr per person) or a la carte.

Visited Copenhagen with my girlfriend. A few words on the food. The pizzas were great, especially the one with mushrooms, would recommend. The service on the other hand was terrible. We waited 30 minutes after the starter until our pizzas were served. Furthermore, we wanted to order something for dessert and waited more than 30 minutes for them until I had go get up and tell them that we wanted to pay. We probably would‘ve waited a lot longer if we didn‘t take the initiative. Disappoiting service for a local with such good food. Normaly not someone who critics restaurants, but left with no other choice in this case. I wouldn‘t go back there or recommend it.

A solid North American–style burger in a fun Copenhagen setting I had been looking forward to trying this place after seeing a video on YouTube. I love the whole concept behind the Gas Station burger joint — a stylish nod to North American burger culture — and they definitely nail the vibe. As a North American myself, surrounded by some of the best burgers in the world back home, it’s always a fun experience to try the European take on a “classic” burger. But I’ll be honest: most of the time, it ends up feeling like a much more expensive version of a budget comfort food I already have access to regularly. That said — this one was a standout. If you’ve never had a proper North American–style burger and you’re in Copenhagen, this is a fantastic place to start. I had a soft, fresh buttered brioche bun, sharp orange cheddar, a classic burger sauce (think Big Mac style), sweet pickles, and a perfectly grilled, pink, juicy patty. Super well-balanced and satisfying. Final thoughts: Is it a revelation for someone from the U.S. or Canada? Probably not. But it’s a damn good version of a familiar classic, done with care and quality ingredients. If you’re craving a legit burger in Copenhagen, this place will definitely hit the spot.

Best burgers in Copenhagen is an understatement. The line at this one was quite long but service was quick and efficient. Some seating outside. Butter burger was really good, as was the cheeseburger and vinegar fries. Lemonade not amazing but refreshing. Price quite high but worth it.

Good quality burgers, but nothing that really stands out – there are plenty of places serving equal or even better burgers. That said, the atmosphere is cool and unique, as the food is prepared in an old gas station that’s still in operation (gasoline, diesel, and electric). The setting definitely adds some charm. We waited around 10 minutes for our food, which was reasonable. Worth a visit if you’re nearby, especially for the experience.

After really enjoying our first visit to another branch, we decided to try the original Gasoline Grill. This one is located in an actual gas station with outdoor seating, which adds to the charm. Since we weren’t too hungry, we shared one Butterburger. Honestly, we preferred the cheeseburger we had at the other branch, but this one was still very tasty. The patty was cooked a bit more than we usually like, but it wasn’t dry at all. Definitely a spot worth trying.

Their hamburgers are very delicious,made with high-quality meat. The fries are also very tasty, and the drinks are good too. It's no surprise it sells so well. In the evenings, there's a very long line of people, and you have to wait for an hour, but it's delicious and worth the wait. The restaurant only has one or two tables for dining in.

We had to try the burger after hearing The New York Times call it the best in the world—and it totally lived up to the hype. We got both the hamburger and the cheeseburger. Super simple, but that’s what made the amazing beef and perfect grill flavor stand out even more.

A place with a very positive vibe. Many street food stands from all over the world, plus drinks, teas, coffees, sweets etc. Freshly made food upon order requires a few minutes to wait for, in most popular places. Many places to sit so although it was Saturday we found a table (beer garden) without any trouble. All set in post industrial zone.

Great variety and cozy outdoor vibes – just wish for more fire pits! Reffen is a great spot if you're looking to try different cuisines in one place – there's a huge variety of food from all over the world. The outdoor area has a really nice atmosphere, especially with the wood fire pits that keep you warm on colder days. We really liked that touch – it made the place feel super cozy. The only downside was that it was quite busy, and all the seats near the fire were taken, so we couldn’t find a warm spot to sit. I wish there were more fire pits or heated areas, especially during peak times. Otherwise, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back!

Got lucky with the weather and enjoyed a great day at Reffen sinking a few beers and eating some good food by the firepits. There's plenty of options for food and if the weather isn't playing ball there's a massive indoor area too. The staff are constantly buzzing around topping up the wood in the firepits and there's loads of comfy chairs dotted around. It's a cool place

Always tried something different. This time I tried the baos, they were really good. The Argentinian places are my to go. The view is breathtaking specially during the sunset. A special vibe and a nice plan during the weekdays or weekends.

Reffen Street food is a good walking from Copenhagen but it was definitely worth it! Most people probably go by bike but the walk wasn't that bad. The place is along the waterfront and feel like a little colorful town of street frood! It's probably very nice as well in the evening with all the lights.

This is a must visit while you’re in Copenhagen. There’s tons of different options for delicious street food and a beer garden. It all sits on the water with amazing views of the bay. There’s also a very large indoor space to sit, eat, and drink in case the weather isn’t that great. I had the Argentinean steak sandwich, a local brewery hazy IPA, and duck fat waffle fries smothered with cheese. It was all incredible and I highly recommend all of the above.

It’s rather fine dining experience than “fish bar” as name would suggest, so beware. Regardless, the food was truly amazing, huge selection of seafood dishes - all offering different tasting experience. I really liked that they don’t charge here for tap water, what is uncommon in Denmark. I can clearly recommend!

This was the best meal we’ve had in Copenhagen. The restaurant is super casual, funky and delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. Everything about our meal was perfect. The standout was the sea bass and the mussels. We’d happily go back and highly recommend to anyone.

Very unique dining experience. We had 8 to 9 small starter dishes, kind like tapas style. We really like it, that we could try all kind of seafood since they are all small dishes. The seafood are all very fresh, and cooked very creative way and with good presentation. The service we had is a bit cool but still friendly. If the service could have more intro or maybe explain the food would be perfect. I would think the food is Michelin star level, the decor is also very unique. Overall, I would recommend anyone love seafood to give a try, be open minded and enjoy the food.

Everything was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and professional. I ordered razor clams, squid, and lobster, and it was more than enough for me. One thing I especially loved was the sourdough it was so tasty and served warm, which made it even more enjoyable. The squid was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. And the lemonade… it was out of this world! Not like any lemonade I’ve had before so refreshing that I’d honestly come back just to drink it again. We also had the fish and chips, which were elevated to a whole new level: crispy, golden, and paired with a deliciously tangy remoulade. Every dish felt thoughtful, seasonal, and true to the spirit of a seafood restaurant that values quality and freshness. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, making it a perfect place to enjoy an evening in Copenhagen. I highly recommend Kødbyens Fiskebar for anyone who loves seafood and appreciates exceptional service. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience.

Delicious fish in a welcoming environment and friendly service. The restaurant provides an exceptional offering of the variety of fish available from Denmark. The space in Copenhagen’s former packing market creates a lively and inviting space to sample this great and diverse cuisine. There is a wide variety of hot, cold, and raw appetizers available to choose from and the entrées are equally diverse and filling. The desert menu provides some fun ideas, including the seaweed mille-feuille. There is also a great drinks and wine selection and the staff are warm and friendly, happy to help you choose or suggest pairings.

Food is great and very fresh — this was our second visit. Yes, it’s pricey, but so is Copenhagen overall. We stopped in for oysters and wine before heading out of town. Unfortunately, despite a shift change happening, service felt disorganized. We had to keep getting up to find someone just to place an order. For the quality of the food and the prices, the service should be much more attentive.

Høst was one of the restaurants we were excited to visit in Copenhagen; We had heard so many great things about this place so we made sure to book in advance. The restaurant is part of the Cofoco group, who are known across Copenhagen for their modern Nordic restaurants that focus on sustainability, local produce and beautiful design. Høst embodies all of that; it’s stylish yet relaxed, with lots of natural light and greenery throughout, which gave it a calm and stunning atmosphere. The greenery actually reminded me a little of Vækst, and even the way the sauces were poured over the dishes- I love sauces, so that definitely doesn’t bother me! The menu showcases modern Nordic cuisine, focusing on what's in season seasonal with lots of creative combinations. We went with the five course menu; every very dish was fresh, beautifully presented and for me, delicious! I loved all of the surprise dishes and palate cleansers that came out in between courses. The only dish that didn't blow my mind was the lobster; lacked the wow factor, but that is just my personal taste. My personal highlights were the scallops and the hake; both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! They also offer matching wines or wines by the glass, but since we’d had a few too many the night before, we went with their local kombuchas, which were amazing and paired beautifully with the meal. They do cater for food intolerances and have a vegetarian menu, which is great if you’re dining with a group. Compared to their sister restaurant, I found the experience here to feel more elevated; nothing felt rushed, and the service was spot on. Unlike some others experiences, the team explained everything with care and made sure we always had enough water and were enjoying ourselves without ever feeling over served. I’d absolutely recommend booking a table if you’re planning a trip to Copenhagen.

We had the five course dinner, and were very pleased with the experience. The restaurant is beautiful and filled with thriving plants. The food presentation is as beautiful as it was delicious. The menu was innovative and the food fresh and courses went well together. We had the lobster, and it was the best we’ve ever had and unique with the sauces and greens to complement the fish. All servers were knowledgeable and helpful, but Elizabeth, our main wait person, was very attentive and knowledgeable. Wish we were closer to become regulars.

I had an excellent experience at Host Restaurant with the 5 course menu. The chefs did an amazing job turning simple ingredients into something that tasted incredible. Every dish had great textures and flavors that worked so well together. You can tell a lot of care went into each plate. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the presentation to the pacing of the meal. Great experience!

Great modern rearrangement of Nordic food. Unique and flavourful. I would have enjoyed it if the servers explained each dish as it was served. They are very knowledgeable when we did ask! I am a bit of a faster eater so the pace I found slow. We were there for about 2.5h for the 5 course meal (including waiting for the bill). I believe about 2h total would have been perfect.

The atmosphere is both rustic and elegant – warm and relaxed, yet refined. The food is creative and flavorful, with bold combinations of tastes and textures. For my palate, some flavors were perhaps a bit too intense (for example, cauliflower with truffles or thyme with mussels), but everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The desserts were outstanding – a perfect way to end the meal. Just as a beautiful glass enhances the enjoyment of wine, I would have appreciated cutlery that felt a little less rustic to balance the overall impression.

Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere! We ordered the 5 course menu and highly recommend it! They have multiple “surprise” dishes throughout the courses which were nicely timed and very good. The mussel soup was incredible and the lobster entree. Only thing I would change is the beef entree was very large and hard to cut. I think the overall flavor of the dish would benefit from a reduction in the amount of meat served. Also request the back room if possible, there is greenery everywhere that adds to the cozy feeling.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The whole evening was a sensory experience on a whole other level. Great stories around the ingredients, well presented, amazing flavours. For two people I recommend doing both wine pairings to get an even more diverse pallet of flavours.

The dishes were unique and inventive, featuring some ingredients we had never tried before. Not every dish was a standout, but they were all of a high standard. I appreciated how they prepared razor clams in different ways. I also liked the presentation of the salmon, and how they made snap peas the star of a dish. However, the non-alcoholic pairing was a bit pricey. The staff were charming. Recommend to have a table along the edge as the place can get quite noisy, it was hard to hear the staff's explanations if your table is in the center, surrounded by the chatter and laughter of other guests. This may not be a top-tier restaurant in terms of flavor, but if you're looking for something bold, this is the right place.

This place was mediocre at best and that's not even considering the price. Service got worse as the night went on. They came on strong but it seemed that the staff cared less after the first 2 hours. For some reason our meal took 4 hours. We were waiting for long periods of time between plates during the second half of the meal. There are so many better restaurants in Copenhagen, don't waste your time here. Also almost every dish was seafood.

Superb experience — the food and wine pairing is unparalleled — coupled with such a wonderful staff from the chefs to the assistants waiting on you at the table. Just watch out for the Galician who has a crazy but wonderful sense of humor. Loved chatting up the Italians who were both engaging and very talented.

Very solid meal but 2x what it should have cost. We went to Noir two nights before in Stockholm (1 Star) and it was equally as good at less than half the price. Kadeau is a 5 star worthy place but at $1k/person, it was the most expensive meal we've ever had so it just pisses me off. I would say this meal was in the Top 25 of my worldwide experiences but definitely not in the Top 10 and all of those meals were much less expensive. Pic: The ant was intentional and interesting.

One of the greatest dining experiences I’ve had. This place truly has it all—exceptional food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and I genuinely loved every moment here. Highly recommended!

As a tourist from Ukraine, of course, it was a bit expensive for me. But if you compare in general with the prices in Copenhagen, then +- normal prices. The dish was very tasty, the place is spacious, there were few people in the morning in autumn. Only my plate was cracked, but maybe it all goes into the atmosphere of the place, I don't know🤪

Had breakfast here after being recommended by several people. I have to say they were not wrong. I had the porridge 1, and it was one of the best I ever had. Fresh toppings, right temperature and texture. The bowl may look small, but remember that it is porridge, that will fill you up. The hot chocolate was alright, nothing special but not bad either. The staff was very nice, and the place was very cozy. The price is not too bad for Copenhagen, I recommend it if you are looking for a more budget friendly breakfast in the city.

This review is written in a state of utter frustration and disappointment. We just left Grød after well over an hour of waiting for our food that we never got. The 3 teens who were working had no understanding of the words customer service and no awareness of their surroundings. After waiting for over an hour we finally got up to ask about our food. They looked at each other helplessly and said they “lost the order”. This is a very small space and we were sitting in plain site so how they didn’t come to realize that we hadn’t gotten our order is mind boggling. We asked for a refund and left in anger, frustration, hunger, disbelief, and disappointment, as we were really looking forward to what might have been a good meal. I would not recommend this place due to abominable service alone. (Also, we ordered a beer when we arrived and when we took it out of the fridge it was room temperature. When we asked the young girl who rang us up if they had any cold ones because this one was warm she said, “no, we just put those in there”. Mentioning that when we ordered it would have been helpful.) Very frustrating experience.

Simply delicious food. The Red Daal Bowl was awesome. The dal was well cooked and tasty. Nice quantity. The veggies were fresh. Loves it so much that I had two. Place is nice and cozy.

Lovely place for breakfast with excellent coffee and the best porridge I've had outside of home. It really is that good! I had the porridge 1 with apple, roasted almond and caramel sauce, delicious. My husband had the all in, an impressive amount of toppings although some of the flavors like peanut butter were a bit overwhelming. Prices are on par with any other breakfast in Copenhagen. If you love porridge, don't miss this place!

Visited in Sep. '25. Modern location, great service, delicious food and cocktails. I had previously visited 7 years ago and had a "more Mexican" memory (more unique dishes, incl. chicharron) but still happy to give 5*, believing they simply had to evolve their menu.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Sanchez. The food was outstanding — every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to enjoy an evening out. On top of that, the service was excellent — the staff were not only friendly and welcoming but also attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience feel extra special. Overall, Sanchez really delivers on all fronts: great food, great vibe, and great people. Highly recommended!

JUL2025: high end Mexican restaurant in a casual modern setting; the menu creates a great association of tastes and texture - it felt like discovering a new and very refined Mexican cuisine. Not cheap but worth it. Must try they house margarita - and the chocolate mousse dessert (this was a mind opening experience).

A Tucsonan has serious hesitations eating Mexican food anywhere outside of Tucson or Mexico, maybe California. I read the reviews and the history of Sanchez and decided I needed to see if my misgivings about Mexican food in Copenhagen could be dispelled. Dispelled they were. The tortillas brought me home in an instant, even a little misty eyed, in their authenticity. Every course was thoughtful and exquisite in its own right. A Michelada oyster paired with a corn “dirty and briny” martini were the perfect way to whet my whistle and pique my interest. The beauty in the simplicity of the tomato tostada had me marveling. I have a newfound love for pineapple butter, the pineapple component of the monkfish cheeks pastor taco, and would have licked the little bowl clean had it been socially acceptable. The chocolate mousse paired with the coffee cocktail might be something I dream about for the rest of my days. The depth, the complexity, the pure divinity actually brought me to tears. I dabbed the corners of my eyes fearing the chefs would see me crying over their chocolate, resisting the urge to jump across the counter into the kitchen and hug them in gratitude. It is a joy to experience the craft of people who love what they do and excel in it.

Selma is a great place to get a taste of Nordic food. The flavors were good and it is definitely a nice spot to experience this style of cuisine. With the number of amazing restaurants in Copenhagen it is hard to be truly impressed, so while it was decent and not overwhelming. I would suggest adding The beverage pairing option

Exceedingly delicious! We opted for the smorgasbord instead of the fixed menu and it did not disappoint. Highlights were the salmon, herring with pickled rhubarb and veal tongue with peas. The restaurant is quite petite and oh so lovely inside. Not a bad seat in the house.

I have not had such delicious, original smørrebrød anywhere else. This is high end cuisine, possibly my favorite restaurant in Copenhagen.

Delicious and inspired takes on traditional open-faced sandwiches. Exceptional service and calm, low-key vibes. As a vegetarian I recommend their creative and tasty celeriac option. Also a great selection of friend and pickled herring.

The place is very nice and the food is delicious. We liked very much beetroot, chicken, beef and herring. We didnt like so much potato and the cabbage, although the cabbage with the chicken one was great! Also the service was not so good, they forgot to put the plates for us when the food arrived and we waited until the second waitress came, we asked for some ingridients in the dish but the waitress couldnt remember what exactly is in it. We payed 200€ for 7 types of smorrebrod and two glasses of wine

Absolutely delicious and inventive Smørrebrød, I wish I could have tried them all! Beautiful decor inside too. We got the elderflower herring, fried herring, salmon, and one with inexplicable vegetables and brown butter that was simply stunning. Highly recommend any dish with brown butter, they apply it tableside!

After eating at a much pricier and well-known restaurant the night before, this meal was the best we had during our weekend in Copenhagen. Everything was amazing and the kitchen bar atmosphere and the professionalism of the kitchen team was noticeable. The fried aubergine were an unexpected favorite!

The food’s a proper fusion Chinese delight-my favourite, honestly-and the drinks? Absolutely spot-on. Shame about the service, though. Last time, the waitress was an absolute gem, all warm and on it, but this time the waiter seemed a bit checked out.

The experience was amazing ! I went solo sat at the bar the chefs were super friendly and we chitchatted throughout and waitress was great and friendly. Food started off so well the first two dishes their take on shrimp roast and especially the crispy aubergine was the star then it went down from there I had the noodles they were too vinegary (I don’t eat pork so I had it removed, this could have been spicy to balance out the food). And the dessert I hand fruity one with plums it has too much of the Chinese spices that took it away for me. I wish I had kept the momentum there. Worth trying I would go again and stick to all small dishes rather than main. I’ll also say the duck looked amazing but could not order half a duck for myself.

I sat at the high top overlooking the chef’s station. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and interactions with the chefs and the staff. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the slight variations on the dishes I tried, especially the (smoked?) tea dust on the black bean chicken. I was a little sad that I didn’t have more time in the city to go back and try some other dishes.

Highly recommend this restaurant! It was incredible! The menu is chinese fusion shared plates style and we ordered most of it and it was all very good. The quality of the food was high and our favorites included: the aubergine (a must get), the salads, the greens, the venison, the dan dan noodles (a must get), the halibut, and the scallops! We also got the mango dessert which was remarkable. Drink menu is also so fun! Excellent selection of tea including pu-erh. Service was great, they were super nice. Overall one of our favorite restaurants this trip!

What an awesome restaurant. Started with lovely genuine hello or welcome by the staff as we walked through the restaurant. My cocktail was outstanding and they let my wife try a couple of wine tastings until she found something she liked. The food was sooo tasty. All dishes were fantastic but the aubergine was next level. Ignore the fact it says fish sauce as it isnt and doesn't taste like that. Combo of sweet and spicy was Devine. Is a little on the pricey side but worth it in my view for a superb evening.

I’m baffled how this restaurant has so many amazing reviews. Overall, the food was overly salty and/or too much vinegar with very little flavor. We ordered several dishes and only the single order oysters and the salad were good. The black bean chicken and the wontons were fine but the fried rice, dan dan noodles, the cucumbers and the bao were bad. My friend ordered a cocktail and didn’t like her drink either. This restaurant is insanely overhyped and overpriced. I can get better Chinese take out in most major cities for a fraction of the price. Paying nearly $300 for this tasteless meal honestly felt like I was being swindled. The restaurant was mostly empty and didn’t have a good atmosphere for dinner on a Sunday night. I should have known by the emptiness of this restaurant. The service was fine but not great. Save yourself a lot of money and time and go somewhere else. There are plenty of great restaurants in Copenhagen and this is certainly not one of them.

Greeted upon arrival and quickly served. We ordered a croissant, chocolate chip cookies, a latte and a cold brew on ice. Service was friendly and helpful; suggested cold brew over the iced Americano I initially ordered. The cold brew was amazingly smooth. So, I'm glad I went with the suggestion. The croissant was not overly flaky, yet the crumb was beautiful and soft. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie was chewy with a good amount of chocolate and the perfect sprinkle of salt.

This is THE first place I went after I touched down and HAD to get the cardomom croissant. Giving it a 50/10 if I can, it’s THAT good that I had to pack 5 of it to bring home to share with my family and friends. Came back a few times afterwards and honestly the service there is top notch, coffee is amazing and just the ambience is great too! Can’t wait to be back!

The best Croissant (cardamom Croissant) I've had and i did have quite a lot of Croissants having traveled some 28 countries. I wanted to mention "one of the best" but im trying to remember how many were nicer than this one. The filter coffee was good. We also took a vanilla custurd pastry, Croissant & Tebirkes for the journey ahead and all of those were amazing. The place was cozy, the staff was humble and took time to give me recommendations I asked for

I lived in Texas for 3 years, and my wife grew up there. This met our expectation of a Danish take on “authentic” Texas barbecue. All to say, it’s very poorly executed. The closest items to authenticity were the brisket tenderness and the side sauces. The brisket was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The pulled pork was so dry it might as well have been chicken. The sausage did not seem home made. It was missing the snap, and texture of a true Texas barbecue sausage. The sides were even worse. The mac and cheese can be described as macaroni soup with “cheese” dye. It’s super watery. It looked like they didn’t drain the pasta water and just poured powdered cheese into the bowl. It was flavorless. The coleslaw looked creamy, but was super vinegary and tasted stale. I’ve had better barbecue in Massachusetts. TLDR: Steal their sauce and leave everything else behind.

Really enjoyed Warpigs it's pretty authentic to what they do in the US and they have it set up really well. Grab a beer, grab a tray, place your food order then find a space at the tables and get stuck in. The only slight negative was the brisket was a little dry but the flavours from the smoke and rubs were excellent. The sides are really good too and it's pretty decent value for money considering the quality

The ribs and brisket were absolutely amazing, tender and flavorful. They paired well with the coleslaw, mac ‘n’ cheese, pickles, and all the sauces, which were each delicious in their own way. The beer selection was also excellent and rounded out the meal perfectly. The only dish that didn’t quite match the level of the others was the chicken wings. They lacked the slow-cooked texture we were hoping for. The highlight there was really just the honey spicy sauce they were covered in.

For a place which specialises in smoked meats, the meats were absolutely disappointing. It was salty, dry and expensive. All the cuts were hard to chew. I got the trooper plate plus a cheesy sausage aka "special link". The sausage was lukewarm and the other meats were cold. Thats very disappoining for a plate which costs me €45. The mac 'n cheese was cold as well. Good creamyness but the macaroni was hard and the cheese taste was missing. Best thing on the plate was the coleslaw, had the right amount of sause. I really liked the choice of craft beers. I got a smoked beer the "anchestors memory". It pairs ok with the meats. But again, might be different if theu were edible. The ambiance was al right. It was loud but cosy. Theres no airco so you might get hot easily. The tables and seats were clean. To top it off there was no service for food and drinks. The cashiers were rushed and had a cold attitude. There was no time for explaining what they had. Overall, nice place but bad food.

No visit to Copenhagen is complete without a trip here. Brisket so good I would walk from the U.K. for it. Great beers too and my boys loved the afternoon vibe, fried shrimp and Mac n cheese!

Nice place to have lunch, seems popular with both tourists and locals. We did not make reservation and were lucky to have a table for a hour plus which was enough. Very friendly and good service and delicious food. We were recommended to try the colourless spirit which matches the food well. Highly recommended.

Very nice place to try traditional herring and open sandwiches. Some sandwiches are really big enough, I would rather say that it is not a sandwich, but a core dish. The atmosphere is perfect, the reservation is easy to make. My best recommendations for visiting this place

Long time since my last visit. This time on A Monday for early lunch. When making the reservation I got on a waiting list so happy to get a table. The place is very nice and superpopular so a reservation is needed - an early one. Great big menu of food, drinks and snaps. Will be back again.

Everything about the place was lovely. The service was spot on and the kind waiter adapted switch even to Swedish to communicate with us. The food tasted amazing and he surely recommended us nice dishes. On top of that we forgot our sunglasses at the restaurant and they waited 15 minutes after closing for us to pick up the sunglasses. Very nice place and happy to have visited it :)

Innovative and delicious! Clearly the chefs have a deep and storied history of working with plant based cuisine and it shines in this menu. From the top, it impressed, stunned, and left us excited to return next time we're in Copenhagen. The only thing that seems like it could use refining is the dessert portion of the menu. The fermented pairing was so impressive all on its own, and perfectly balanced each dish. Overall, a masterclass that has earned its place among the best vegan restaurants in the world.

ARK has a green Michellin star 2025 and it truly is deserved. Food is exceptional, delicious and very innovative. You can taste chef caring about each dish and flavors dance in the mouth. At the end of the evening we got our menus as a gift home, and they contain forgetmenots flower seeds that we can plant in your garden next season. So sweet!

The entire team was attentive, kind, and deeply professional. A wonderful final touch: we were given the printed menu as a keepsake on recycled paper embedded with forget-me-not seeds, a beautiful way to remember the evening by planting them at home. Really enioyed dining at Ark. For me new doors opened for plant-based cooking. Sauces that usually would consist out of 50% butter were just as rich and smooth of flavour without it. The front of house knew how to explain the dishes really well and were well prepared for any questions asked. Recommend this to anyone, also if you are not typically vegan or plant-based oriented.

We had the 8-course tasting menu. Apparently the dishes were designed by the restaurant to be shared. This concept worked reasonably well for the starters, but it did not felt right for the main course, which was unfortunately served cold. Overall, the execution of the menu didn’t quite meet our expectations. The service was warm and professional. However, our table was placed in a corner and we were often overlooked, which made it difficult to get the staff’s attention at times. All in all, a mix of thoughtful ideas and good service, but the experience didn’t fully deliver.

The shrimp open sandwich is heavenly good! Even the shadow is artistic! I wanna go back and try it again It’s weird though, that although there are empty seats, walk in guests were told that it was fully booked. Until I finished my meal, the seats were still empty. Maybe they thought everyone wanted a 2-3 hour proper dinner so there wasn’t enough time for that.

An excellent restaurant that caters to all tastes. It’s very well priced compared to some of the other restaurants in Copenhagen. The desserts are a must try, especially the one with Danish chocolate on brioche bread.

I had the 8-course menu and was absolutely delighted – both by the extraordinary flavors and the outstanding service. Every dish was a surprise in the best way possible, and the staff made the whole evening even more enjoyable. A truly memorable dining experience!

Had an amazing time at Aamanns! Trying the Smørrebrød for first time and it was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. They have the option for lunch menu which I choose. It lets you choose 2 savoury Smørrebrød and one sweet. I had the traditional salmon one ofcourse which was excellent and very fresh and they kindly also made the chicken salad one without bacon. Will definitely visit again if I am ever back to Copenhagen.

charging 70dkk for water is a lot. Food was good but overpriced. Them not giving a full basket of rye bread for the most expensive thing on the menu also feels insane. Especially because you are allowed to get more but they have to serve it to you like you are getting meat at a buffet is not a classy experience. I wish they would not do the random efforts to make more money when they already charging 200+ for something that cost them 25dkk to make. The salmon is the best on the menu btw to anyone who might be reading this. She also seemed a bit weird about me tipping 40dkk but I just don't think we have tipping culture in Denmark so I just did cause she didn't do anything bad. She seemed stressed out tho. I will end by saying that the cook is very gifted but that I think other aspects are lacking.

What a stunning restaurant - modern, elegant, and filled with natural light. Aamanns 1921 was recommended to us by a Danish friend, and as visitors from Australia, we were very pleased with our experience here. The food was outstanding - beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Our waitress was not only attentive but also very knowledgeable, taking time to explain the dishes and share insights. It was a true fine dining experience with a Nordic twist. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen!

With a lot of food choices and attached to an amusement park ! A very nice spot. We had lunch and it was great. It can take a few minutes to find a table if you’re with friends or family.

So many people raved about this place but I can say I won’t be returning. There are various food stands to choose from. French, Italian, sushi, ramen, salads, burgers and so on. Be careful of your stuff as there are pickpocketers. Are at Kung Fu. Wasn’t the best ramen but in Copenhagen everything requires a reservation so this is perfect for in the go food. Not too loud with plenty of seating.

Visited for Gorm’s Pizza – Great Food, Long Wait Stopped by here specifically to try Gorm’s Pizza. The wait time was quite long—around 40 minutes—which felt a bit much, especially with a kid. The place was overcrowded, possibly because it was a weekend. That said, the food made up for the wait. The pizza and garlic bread were truly authentic and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're a food lover. There are plenty of food options overall, though not as many choices for vegetarians.

Wide range of foods available, simple order and collect system. Lots of tables and spaces to eat. All the food we had was of a decent quality for the price/location. Simple and no fuss. Was busy and I suspect it always is. You don't need to have paid for Tivoli gardens to go to food court. Kids liked it and it was busy

It’s styled like an upscale hawker center, featuring 15 food stalls that bring together flavors from across Europe and Asia 🌍🍴. 🥩 Steak Without a doubt, the best value-for-money option here. At just 129 DKK (without béarnaise sauce), it’s nearly half the price of what you’d pay at most restaurants. The steak here is rustic and no-frills — don’t expect any doneness options; it comes fully cooked by default. It’s served with a local-style butter and arugula mix that’s packed with flavor. The salad dressing is sweet and tangy, and the slightly bitter greens balance out the richness of the meat. Overall, it’s a well-rounded dish. 🌯 Greek Chicken Wrap A total letdown! Way worse than the pita wraps you get on the streets of Athens — and they had the audacity to charge 99 DKK. There was barely any meat in it, and the taste was dry and bland. I’ve had €2 pita wraps in Athens with more beef and way better flavor. This one only offered chicken, and it was both expensive and disappointing. I only ordered it because of the amazing smell from the grill… turns out the aroma was a trap! Avoid it! 🍝 Bolognese Pasta A classic Italian dish with beef ragù. I personally found the pasta too firm — not my kind of texture — but my Italian partner actually liked it. That said, the meat portion was pathetically small for a dish that costs 109 DKK. Definitely not as good a deal as the steak❗️ All in all, the steak stands out as the best value dish — plenty of meat and good flavor. The place is usually packed, and finding a seat can be tricky 🪑. Some of the quieter stalls still have empty bar seats — likely because the food there isn’t great. So yes, choosing wisely takes a bit of observation. After 8:30 p.m., the crowd starts thinning out and seats become easier to find. It’s also a great place for solo diners — no pressure to finish everything. 👤🍽️

This food hall was really good with lots of options! The poke bowl from Kung Fu was SO good!! Would really really recommend that, I got the tuna one.

What a lovely place, so many options, a nice relaxed atmosphere, delicious food. The only thing that could make it better is a nice refreshing glass of water. Dream on, you won't be getting water here, every single food stand will refuse you, and they'll tell you to fill your water bottle up in the toilets, but your water bottle won't fit under the taps, and the taps only make tepid water, you'll be despairing, absolutely despairing. The last thing you need is to pay for bottled water, it's the last thing anyone needs. Also the toilets weren't very big and were down a big staircase. Can't stress enough though the food really was delicious.

The burgers were great, the best one we have tried in the Copenhagen. Almost as good as Picnic mingle & fun burgers. We loved the spice mix on the fries. We took Danish ox tomato and stuffed courgette as sides dishes. Courgette was very good but the tomato was plain and didnt have that intense taste of late summer tomato, it was more watery. Before we came everyone recommended us to not miss a POPL desserts. There where two options on the menu, one summer berries plate with some ice cream and the other one elderflower souffle with berries and vanilla cream. We took souffle. It was ok, but nothing special. Maybe we expected too much from the dessert as lot of people mentioned it. It is still a burger place, and the best one in town

Definitely a great experience and not the average burger place. Appetizers, starters, sides all of great quality and execution. We had the Cheeseburger and it was truly a great burger. Buttery, cheese, soft and crunchy at the same time. The meat was cooked rare and only grilled from one side, which is fine for me, but probably a challenge for many people. 1 minute longer would have improved the experience for me, but overall it was super nice. I can also recommend the cocktails.

We were excited to come, but we left a bit disappointed. The burger was fine, though nothing special (150 kr!). The fries were great, but had way too much seasoning. The small dip was 30 kr, which I could accept, but 65 kr for a half pint is just wrong. Not recommended.

SO delicious! Everything we ate was amazing - but I must say the gazpacho was off the charts good! Beautiful to look at as well! Highly recommend trying popl - but go hungry! You don’t want to miss anything!!

As a cheeseburger lover, I’d say it was an average burger. The meat and cheese were actually good, but we found it way too greasy. The overwhelming taste of oil in everything was a bit off-putting. After placing the order, it took about 15 minutes to prepare.

You have Two options to taste this juicy burger; restaurant or to-go shop. You had better reserve your seats for weekends at the restaurant. For pick-up shop, you need only 10-15minutes if they’re not Busy. It’s definitely better than the other popular burger 🍔 grill chain and %20 more expensive. Limited indoor seating for pick-up shop. Very helpful team. All sauces are extra (even ketchup). They’ve pickles as different alternative to others’.

What an amazing place by the waters. Food is much better than at Nyhavn which is too touristy and expensive. This is a short walk from Nyhavn and totally worth it. The burger here was amazing and also the cola that we had. The vegetarian burger is also surprisingly good which tasted like meat. Nice and lively vibe around this place. There's outdoor seating as well which is great. Loved it.

Had an incredible dining experience here the other week. We loved the setup, the team was amazing and of course the food was absolutely incredible. We were also lucky enough to sit at the chef's counter (thanks Olivia!) and see all the action unfold. We can't wait to come back to Copenhagen to eat here and experience it all again! From the moment we stepped into the serene courtyard, guided in warmly by the staff, Restaurant Alouette delivered something far beyond food. Jackets taken, preferences noted (including special care for my pregnant fiancée), and we were seated for a journey that felt like stepping into a living, breathing kitchen symphony. The service was extraordinary—a hive mind of grace and timing. Staff moved with quiet precision, each person playing their role without ever feeling rehearsed or robotic. They simply flowed. We chose the non-alcoholic pairing, and I genuinely believe it’s the only way to go. Each house-made juice was crafted specifically for the course it accompanied—from a shiso-plum pairing with milk bread and bone broth, to combinations so perfectly tuned you forget wine was ever an option. Why drink something generic when the restaurant is giving you Michelin-starred creativity in a glass? Now, the food. 14 courses, each remarkable, but the main dish of braised rib and pork loin stood out as a masterclass. It was rich, balanced, and beautifully elevated by its surroundings—juices, sauces, the bread, the company, everything. You don’t eat here. You experience here. But what made the evening unforgettable was the personal touch from the team. One staff member casually asked what brought us to Copenhagen. We mentioned a martial arts camp—no big deal. But soon other staff were greeting us like legends: “Oh! You’re the martial artists!” “Wait till you meet our chef—he trains too!” Then after dinner, in the lounge for tea and treats, the chef himself emerged like an old friend, arms open, exclaiming “You’re the brown belt in jiu-jitsu?” (A detail we never even shared. The back-of-house detective work was top tier.) We laughed, chatted, shared passions—and it was clear: this staff genuinely enjoys connecting with guests. As if that weren’t enough, I later complimented another staff member for sharing cool trivia about the table design—and it turned out he was the owner. We visited Alouette for the first time as a group of four, and it was an unforgettable evening. The entire experience was beautifully curated – from the atmosphere to the exceptional service and, of course, the food. One dish that truly stood out was the zucchini with caviar and Champagne sauce – an elegant combination that was both delicate and rich in flavor. Every course was a delight, but that one was simply unforgettable. The service was equally impressive. Our Hungarian waiter was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel very well taken care of throughout the evening. His friendly and professional demeanor added a lot to the overall experience. Alouette delivered on every level – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Decent food, well plated. Would have been a higher score had it not been for the relatively slow service. The staff is cordial but... It was very difficult to get their attention. Took 15 minutes plus to get seated, another 15 to order and another 15 to get the bill. The meat was seasoned nicely but lukewarm to room temperature when served. Probably adding one more staff would improve the experience.

This wasn’t just great – it was unbelievably great. The food was beyond any praise, a true explosion of flavors, like a taste orgasm. The service? Not just service, but the gods of hospitality themselves. They didn’t just serve us dinner, they created an experience. Our evening turned into a 2.5-hour gastronomic journey, and every moment of it was pure joy. I left not only full, but feeling absolutely wonderful.

We had the tasting along with their signature dish. Every dish did not fail to meet expectations and tasted just as good as they looked. The service was also nice with very experienced and deeply knowledgeable servers. However, the atmosphere wasn't great. It's the usual Copenhagen *hygge* where everything is dimly lit. The acoustics also not good as there much echo and noise.

Lovely restaurant - I had big hopes for it, and it's safe to say that the standards were met. However, there was a room for a little wow factor. The bread was not amazaing and the lamb tartar was a little too weird. The rabbit ravioli was off the charts, very nice pasta and the goat cheese cake was a lot fun. Paired the ravioli with a glass of Cab Franc, by Christian Tschida from Austria. Italian red with desert was decent. Very very good, get the rabbit ravioli!

The caviar butter pasta is absolutely MUST TRY. Many dishes were delicious, however dessert was disappointing and expected more from cocktails. However, the place indeed worth a visit as food is delicious and staff was so warm and nice! It was quite loud, however the place turned out to be big so a lot of seating. Bread with butter was amazing too, loved spices there!

Perfect wine bar experience in Copenhagen! Great vibes, food and staff. I ordered the focaccia, octopus, spaghetti and pear dessert. The orange wine was the best I’ve had anywhere. Juliana, Yasmina and Patricia were super fun and amazing. This is definitely the wine bar to do in Copenhagen.

SURT Carlsberg serves the best Italian pizza I have ever tasted. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside, soft inside—and the flavors felt fresh and balanced. The toppings were not overloaded, but every bite was full of taste. I am used to pizzas often being very heavy with cheese and spices, but here the style was more authentic and natural. I really enjoyed this difference. It felt lighter yet more satisfying. We tried all 7 pizzas on the menu, and each one was delicious. My personal favorite was the Shrooms pizza – rich, earthy, and full of flavor. Drinks were excellent too, including Negroni, Gin & Tonic, and a lovely Red Wine. For dessert, we had Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse, both a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The place has a modern and cozy atmosphere, and the service was warm. For me, it was not just a meal, but an experience of true Italian pizza in Denmark. Highly recommended!

The pizza was good, but just good. For a basic pizza that’s 150kr+ I expect a lot more. The menu also consists of 6-7 pizzas and at 18:08 when we were ordering, one was sold out. Before the guests even arrive on a Friday 😬 I’m a bit tired of these Copenhagen restaurants that want to be fancy for no reason. Its a pizza restaurant, lets be in touch with reality for a second🫶🏼

If yuh enjoy trying something new then this is for you. Given these pizzas are made from sourdough does give the crust a little interesting edge. While the menu is limited, it does not disappoint with seasonal appetizers, salads and pizza.

They make the best sourdough pizza, what we have ever tasted in their own wood fired oven. You can see every step of the preparation from your table and the flames are mesmerizing! 🔥 Trying out the famous Hindsholm pizza is definitely a must, but do not skip the other dishes as well, because they are not just tasty and look beautiful, but you will feel the flavour of Sicily in every single bite. Great wines and great cocktails too. 🍷 Book in advance and have a very special night thanks to the amazing staff there. 🙏

Great experience. The waiters are very friendly. It's a lovely place with great configuration with the pizza oven out in the open. Making pizzas myself, and having been around Italy tasting pizzas from Milano to Sicily I would rank this pizza as one of the best pizzas I've eaten. Great tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella, and a super light dough. And what in my opinion makes it special: it's cooked to perfection. The char on the cornicione, adds another level of taste, and it stands out among all the undercooked boring pizzas you see in so many places. And when it comes to dessert, the chocolate mousse is delicious. Not too sweet, but tastes how it's supposed to taste with perfect texture, and with little a surprise inside of the whipped cream. Of course this quality comes with a price which is quite high. It of course is expected since it's Copenhagen, but yea it's on the expensive side. I would say the the taste justifies it. So to sum up: top experience, top quality, high price.

The Hindsholm is definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had A LOT of different pizzas. A must eat!! Also happy that they finally serve pizza during lunch here. Great service too though they were mostly empty on a rainy Saturday lunch hour.

4 pizzas & 2 starters were shared between 5 people. There are the classic ones which were great but the more creative one like Hindsholm sausage we would definitely come back for. Well balanced with a slight tanginess from the fermented chili to cut the greasiness :) I’m normally not a pizza crust fan but this one was something else - great texture of soft, light and elasticity to the dough. I didn’t mind the charred crust at all as it adds another layer of smokiness to the pizza. Spacious space, dog friendly as a plus and attentive service. Our food came quickly. Price point might be on the expensive side hence 4 stars but overall definitely one, if not the best pizza Napolitano in Copenhagen!

Simply incredible. It’s clear why Geranium won the #1 best restaurant in the world a couple of years ago. Please do yourself a BIG favor and get the juice pairing. It was the best pairing I’ve ever done (and I’m including done dozens of wine and NA pairings). Flavors of both the pairings and within the dishes themselves were executed at a level I didn’t know was possible, especially for so many veggie dishes. And I truly enjoyed everything. There wasn’t a single dish I felt like they missed on, which I can only say I’ve experienced a couple of times, even at 3 star restaurants. 10/10 - can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Copenhagen.

Later, dishes like King crab with pickled pumpkin and the celeriac & truffle “soup” showcased stunning balance and harmony, both in flavor and texture. But the wine pairing was the soul of the experience — every glass was chosen with such precision that it didn’t just match the dish; it completed it. The acidity, aroma, and timing of each pour felt like a symphony written for the palate. Every element — pacing, light, service, and even tableware — reflected Geranium’s mastery. It’s not about extravagance here; it’s about the quiet power of nature, clarity, and emotion.

This dinner is on my top 10 favorite dinners. It was worth every penny :) Book it :) they definitely deserve their 3 stars. I really enjoyed every aspect of this dinner,I chose the juice pairings and each one went very well with each dish :) Just a fantastic experience all around. Their dedication and creativity were evident in every dish. I recently tried to book a table but was unable to, which was a huge disappointment. This has only fueled my excitement to return in the coming months, and I'm confident that Geranium's pursuit of excellence has only continued to evolve.

The ambiance was lovely, it felt intimate yet spacious. The service was absolutely unparalleled, unlike anything we have ever experienced. Everyone seemed excited to celebrate with us and very invested in providing a memorable and special celebration for us, they even wanted to take a picture with us. We felt welcomed and well cared for the entire time. The paper menu was beautiful, as was the printed note for the gifted wine pairing we received from a relative. One of the staff showed the room how you open a wine bottle with port tongs, which was fun. We love to cook, and one of us works in the food industry, so we were excited to learn about the dishes and the wine. All our questions were answered, and we learned a lot. The tour was interesting as well. The food was exquisite, the dishes were inventive and unique; we still think about them. Dietary restrictions were carefully considered and met. We especially enjoyed that the chefs who made the dishes came to our table to explain them. The wine pairing was delicious and very generous.

It's truly a 3-star restaurant, if not the best in the world (they got best a years back 🤭) Everything is nearly to perfection , from service, wine, and food. It was very pricey but worth it a try. But to be honest, I'm not sure that we will go back to this considering the ROI

Our first dinner in Copenhagen was at Vækst, and it set a beautiful tone for the trip. The restaurant, part of the Cofoco group and tucked beside Hotel SP34, feels like stepping into a greenhouse; filled with plants, glass, and soft light. We were seated downstairs, which was quiet and calm, a lovely start to the evening. We chose the three course menu and really enjoyed it. The salted halibut and fried plaice were incredible, perfectly cooked and delicious. I also appreciated how easily they made my husband’s dishes dairy free, and the small bites between courses were thoughtful and delicious. The staff were friendly and polite, but something about the service felt a little impersonal; it took a while for anyone to greet us or explain the menu, and wine recommendations did not happen as there was no sommelier. Everything ran smoothly and at the same time food came out fast if that makes sense; and that warmth and storytelling that make a dining experience truly special were missing for me. Still, the food was delicious and although our experience wasn’t completely perfect, I would absolutely recommend Vækst for a lovely dinner or lunch in Copenhagen. NOTE: For those who like less noise, book the earliest seating while it is still reasonable for nice conversation.

Magnificent! Excellently executed food and outstanding atmosphere and service! We took 3-course menus with wine pairings and this was plenty of food (honestly don’t know how hungry you must be for a 4 course menu). They add additional mini-dishes in between main servings so there will be enough great food coming your way! Wine pairings are very generous too! Very good amount of wine, every serving.

We had lunch at Vækst in Copenhagen as part of our wedding celebration with close friends and family – and it was such a lovely experience. We were a group of nine and went for the three-course lunch menu, with drinks à la carte. The service was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive from start to finish. We were seated upstairs, with the windows open and fresh air coming in, which made the atmosphere feel relaxed and summery. We really appreciated the small greetings from the kitchen in between the courses – especially before the starter and main course – which helped bridge the time nicely and made it feel even more thoughtful. The only downside was that the wait between the main course and dessert was a bit too long, and by the time coffee arrived, it was not really hot anymore. That said, everything else was perfect. The food, the setting, the people – it all made for a memorable afternoon. We’d absolutely recommend Vækst and would gladly come back.

Best scallops I've ever had! Apple sorbet was also amazing! The meat is better than the fish for the main course. The restaurant has a set 3 course menu so not too much choosing needed. You pick between the normal one or the vegetarian one or the 4 course one, and for each of those you can spend extra for the version with the wine pairing. Really cute ambiance and great service!

This was our second booking with a restaurant in the Cofoco group and it was yet another excellent meal. The restaurant is spread across 2 floors and seemed quieter on the below ground floor, with big party groups upstairs. Service was a little slow to start with, but excellent, and staff had no trouble dealing with a request for a gluten free meal. The presentation of the dishes is spectacular, and every course was superb. There’s a very good range of wines by the glass, and for the city, and the quality, this was an excellent value meal.

Took forever to get our table even though we had a reservation. Then it took forever to bring out the food. And it was pretty disastrous. Had the 4 course menu. Bread is rock hard, butter had no taste. Complimentary foods were okay. Scallops are freezing cold and no taste whatsoever. Caviar is forgettable. Tatar of beef is mushy, tastless, cold. The potato chips are lacking imagination. Complimentart mushroom soup is salted to the point you can't eat it. Main course of tenderloin was tasty tho the portion is small. I tasted the fried cod as well it was mediocre at best. Had the apple sorbet for dessert, which was the only exciting dish. The cream was phenomenal. But again, it was like 2 bites. Waiters were great but the service is slow. Avoid.

I had the 4 course dinner menu and enjoyed all the dishes. The salmon Tatar and mushroom soup were the standouts. Beef tenderloin was solid but didn’t necessarily blow me away. I find restos often drop the ball with dessert hit the apple sorbet was phenomenal. Highly recommend it. Food was 4.5/5. The restaurant was cozy and had a warm ambience to it. 4/5 Service was decent. But, probably could have been warmer. While I don’t like being asked how the food is after every dish, it’s odd that they didn’t ask even once or twice. So I’d give service a 3/5 for being decent overall, but could improve on warmth and friendliness. 3.5/5

Came here for a very late Sunday lunch on the day we arrived. Things close up early on Sundays, if they open at all. Everything was delicious, and the presentation was gorgeous. Very efficient and professional wait staff. They let me know I can have any sandwich on gluten free bread. Our neighbors ordered the multi-plates lunch platters and they looked wonderful too. We stopped here based on other reviews.

Went there almost two weeks ago. We had their set menu and beers. We absolutely loved that 😍😍😍 Taste was superb and prices were great, especially when compared to prices in Copenhagen! Would definitely recommend it ❤️

We were a group of 8 people and were treated very well. This was by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The service is impeccable with the gentleman explaining all the dishes and their history in a very interesting manner. The Danish dishes were unbelievably good. I can't have enough good things to say.

The food was excellent, and the service was perfect, very friendly and attentive. We were seated right next to the door, so there were a few drafts, and the restaurant could benefit from a little refresh in terms of decoration. That being said, everything was truly delicious. The waiter took the time to answer all our questions and even suggested a digestif tailored to each of our tastes. A big thank you to him for making it such a wonderful evening!

Overall the experience was very nice. Very well-behaved and polite crew. The food was tasty and unique. The only reason why I won’t rate it 5 starts is due to charging more for a schnapps that we didn’t order. The waiter offered schnapps for us making it look like it was on the house. However this is was not the case and they added it to our final bill.

Fantastic Danish sandwiches in a cute little restaurant with their own home made schnapps. It's a lot of food for lunch, so I suggest sharing the summer platter with your friend.

This bakery is absolutely incredible - we tried 4 items and each one was its own distinct delight. ~ 10 seats inside and there will be a line, wait in it - you would be a fool to do otherwise. Great coffee, lovely staff who were happy to describe the items in English, despite the busyness. We came for the cardamom bun, which was everything we hoped for, but the raspberry & poppyseed pastries were even better! Got back in line for a pumpkin seeded roll - snacked on it all day - heaven!

Finally got to try this bakery, the oldest in Copenhagen! We went by on an afternoon, so unfortunately a lot of products were already sold out, but still got the chance to try their cinnamon roll (still warm!) and a couple of pastries (the one in the picture is with pistacchio). Really nice texture, especially the cinnamon roll, not too dry, chewy and moist, really nice! They have just a couple of seats and tables, might get crowded very soon, also no “proper” cups for coffees, just to go paper cups, be aware. Also congratulations on the Børsen Gazelle ･ᴗ･

It’s funny — before coming to Copenhagen we heard about 2–3 popular bakeries, but we had never seen this one mentioned anywhere. We actually found it by chance while passing by, decided to step in, and ended up coming back every single day after that :) We tried almost all of the pastries you see in my photos, and every single one was delicious. As a pistachio lover, I was blown away by the pistachio pastry — the best I’ve had since Italy. Honestly, the big-name bakeries with multiple branches in Copenhagen don’t compare to this place. A true hidden gem!

Overall: best pastries I've had in Copenhagen. The pastries were so tasty, I had to go a second time! Unfortunately my almond croissant on the second time was burnt but all the other pastries were good. The space is tight so it's not much of a sit down place and I personally was not a fan of the latte (not much flavour in the coffee).

I tried the cinnamon roll and the Danish pastry, and they were so delicious that I went back again on Wednesday morning. There was almost no wait during my first visit, but the second time I waited about 20–30 minutes. Everything was great — especially the Danish pastry, which I highly recommend!

One of the best bakeries I've eaten from. The pastries are divine. Tried their crispy cinnamon rolls, sausage roll, salami pizza, cardamom bun, one of the croissants with almonds on top chai latte and espresso.

The pistachio and chocolate croissant is hands down my favorite pastry from here. There's usually a little bit of a line, but that depends on what time you go. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There isn’t much seating inside, so it’s mostly takeaway, but I recommend enjoying your treats in Ørstedparken. Also, heads-up: the almond croissant I had was a little dry and burnt, so I’d probably skip that one.

Fresh, delicious open face sandwiches. The shrimp and fish cake were extremely good choices with an amazing depth of flavour that felt well balanced and very fresh. The queue is worth the wait.

Open face sandwiches that are made right on the spot and lot of various types to chose from. What is most important is that they are fresh. They do look small and I took 2 at the time. I can tell that one would be more than enough and I barely finished the second one and honestly was struggling as I was more than full. Lot of toppings and various drinks to chose from. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. Bread is perfect pair with whatever type you chose. I would visit again.

Probably the best smørrebrød you can find! It gets quite busy during peak hours, but it’s definitely worth it. The selection is fantastic and everything tastes absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

Bigger version of tapas or cicchetti or meze on a slice bread. Worth the queue. We enjoyed sea food smorrebrods (salmon salad, curry herring and shrimp). Definitely freshly made with quality ingredients.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was creative and original, every bite was delicious! The service was top-notch - kind, attentive, and always ready to help. And the ambiance? Architectural magic! The design of the place is stunning. One minor note - the Lemon Pavlova was a bit too sweet for my taste.

The interior of this restaurant is very instagramable! Not a single free table in sight. We got the tuna crudo, grilled prawns, burrata salad and lamb. Overall the food was enjoyable but nothing spectacular when compared to other places we visited in Copenhagen. Service was great though.

100% recommend Delphine. It is necessary to make a reservation. You don’t have to wait long for your food and the vibes are great for a night out. On Saturday nights, there is a DJ. There is also a Photo Booth which is the perfect way to end your night. This is located in the Meat Packing District if you are looking to stay out late- lots of clubs around.

Ambience was fantastic, we were served in good time, flavours were a fantastic ode to Greek flavours and freshness and the ambience was stunning- beautiful grand architecture and linen textures with great well known songs playing making it a perfect smart-casual experience. Food was also perfectly seasoned- I’d say the lamb, tzatziki and flatbread are a must and the chips are superb. Highly recommend!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I waited over 30 minutes for my food, while another table that ordered at the same time was almost finished. When the waitress finally brought out my oysters, she lacked any sense of professionalism—no apology for the long wait, no introduction about the dish, just a cold attitude. Very frustrating! By the way, the food is good.

loved this place as a solo diner! ive read mixed reviews, but my experience was great. i ordered a little lillet cocktail and it was sooo yummy. the 3stk oysters did not disappoint. i’ve been dreaming of the basil-bergamot-chili oyster since the moment i ate it! the crab salad was light and yummy and the presentation in a small crab shell is creative and useful. asparagus was yummy - i could have licked the plate! my only complaint is that i couldn’t order more of the menu - but i only have one stomach! i love that there’s a photobooth in the restaurant. as a solo traveler it’s fun when i get the opportunity for a photo op without having to ask a stranger. i would recommend this place to anyone traveling to copenhagen looking for a yummy sharable-style meal.

I won’t come back here again once I travel Copenhagen. I can understand the hype because of the aesthetic vibe but it is a bakery cafe. That means the bread should be good. However, for me the taste was not amazing. Especially the sausage roll was awful. I wasn’t able to have a bite because of the unappetizing flavor. I would rather go to another bakery for better brunch and save time traveling. Most of the reason people come over this place is probably because of pictures. I also came here because of pictures on instagram, Pinterest even though it is very far away from the city center. However, while I was having a brunch here, I heard a staff yell at a customer who was taking a picture in front of other customers. At that moment many people came with professional cameras but they didn’t say anything but only to that asian woman. One of the staff yelled “do not take a picture, respect the privacy”. When I checked her camera, it was a very old digital camera. I mean, I can understand that staffs are sensitive about privacy. Then why don’t you wear a mask or ask all people not to take a picture?

What a vibe. The place is gorgeous, everything fits perfectly, sooo aesthetic🫶 baked goods are delicious, especially blomster bun (definitely a must try), classic bun with cheese and butter, and berliner were also amazing! It’s really cool that their menu changes often. In my opinion focaccia could have more toppings on top, wouldn’t really eat it again. Filter coffee was exceptionally good, the best I’ve ever tried.

Lille Bakery is probably my favorite spot in Copenhagen. It’s tucked away in a quiet area, which makes it feel like a little escape from the busier parts of the city. I went there after a morning run and it was the perfect way to start the day. The pastries are excellent, the rolls are simple but really well done, the berliner is soft and indulgent, and the spandauer has that perfect balance of flaky pastry and sweet filling. I also tried the mushroom roll, which was surprisingly good and a bit different from the usual options. The coffee is from Prolog, so you know it’s going to be solid. Some of my friends lean more toward Andersen & Maillard, and honestly you can’t go wrong with either, but I’m a little biased toward Lille. It just has this calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the morning.

We came here for brunch and good vibes. The atmosphere is great like we have seen in others' photos. However, the brunch and bakery is very simple. Coffee is too light for us. The only thing we like is Egg on rye while sausage roll and brunch plate (bread, butter and jam) are so so.

I was alone and as much as I wanted to try everything I stuck to the famous “not cinnamon” bun. Where they used local herbs instead of cinnamon it was flaky buttery and soft and they had the olive oil pumpkin cake. Both were amazing I wish I was with more people to order more and try all. DONT GO ALONE to try all the yummy goods

Went here on a windy Friday evening - our second time here. It is just a perfect spot. Cozy inside, great atmosphere, great service, awesome food and the best wine list. All that you expect from a French bistro is here. It is a superpopular spot so reservation is needed. We shared some starteres before having the best fish ever eaten. You can easily go and just enjoy the many starters as well. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and I spent our wedding night here and it was perfect. The staff were absolutely lovely. We felt very welcome. The initiated are aware that Copenhagen offers a wide variety of French restaurants: From soulless tourist traps to themed venues that drown you in images of Eiffel towers, baguettes and mustached-beret-wearing mannequins. Then there are the upper-class-upper-price range-mediocre-produce places that look like the place to be, but rarely keep what their polished looks promise. Silberbauer is the opposite of that. Discreet and understated on the outside, full of life and buzz on the inside. Though they fall in the same category as most other restaurants - namely that the starters outshine the mains - all dishes that I tried were the best I’ve had all year. However, the undisputed star was the seared/grilled(?) bone marrow with bread (see photos). The taste was so rich, it actually made the main dish (gnocchi ragout) pale in comparison in terms of flavour. Pro tip: Order it as a pre-desert after the main! My only regret I have from my visit is, that I didn’t order more of them. Four stars on the vibe because it was lunch and I’d imagine dinner time is more lively.

My wife and I have dined at numerous high-end Michelin-starred restaurants, but I can confidently say that this experience stands out as the best thus far. Chef Christian skillfully combines Korean and Danish cuisine, drawing from his extensive culinary journey. Each dish was prepared with the utmost care and presented at an exceptional level. The staff were all friendly and professional. (Please tell me if i should delete the menu photo if you want to keep it as a surprise for your guests) Thank you for the exquisite experience. Certainly some amazing dishes and some just okay and you may leave still a bit hungry if you have a large appetite. Service very coordinated and nice that the chef visited every table to greet and make you feel welcome. As other reviewers have said they seem keen on selling expensive champagne so may be more of a spot to show off considering the price.

Probably a meal on our personal top 3 ever in Copenhagen! The last time we had a meal with balanced, fantastic flavours, exciting new aromatic combinations and a wine pairing that blew us away was at Geranium. This restaurant outperforms many Michelin stars restaurants we have been to!

It's a wonderful experience. Korean based 2-star Michelin restaurant. Some of the tables (near the entrance) have a great view of the open kitchen, allowing to witness the preparation of the dishes and the immaculate choreography of kitchen and service staff. Service is very friendly and attentive. The chef is very present, keeping a very attentive look to customers for the best experience, very customer-centric. The dishes are immensely creative, with many intricate details, textures and flavours. We accompanied the meal with a Sool mixed pairing, alternating Sool and non-alcoholic beverages. Probably the best option as we felt a purely Sool pairing would be too heavy. Wine, Prestige wine and Champagne pairings are also available. Judging from what the neighbouring tables received, they seemed like good options too. We felt that Sool was more fitting to the occasion though. Overall a very positive experience, only slightly disturbed by a noisy table, but admittedly not something the restaurant can do much about.

A small little 'restaurant' that everybody chooses to dine outside right in the nature viewing the waterfront. This place is quite popular among the young and students as it is a great place to have meaningful conversations. Food is excellent and so is their service.

La Banchina is one of the most unique spots in Copenhagen — the perfect mix of cozy and vibrant canal-side vibes. Sitting right by the water with a cold beer in hand feels like pure relaxation. The fish burger was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. If the weather is warm, you can even take a refreshing dive right into the canal, and for colder days, there’s a sauna that makes the experience extra special. The atmosphere is laid-back, with people lounging by the wooden docks, chatting, and enjoying the sun. Prices are fair for Copenhagen — a great balance between quality and setting. The only thing to keep in mind is the oysters: delicious but pricey, 220 DKK for 6 (about $31–32 USD). Still, the experience makes it worthwhile. Whether you’re looking to relax by the water, grab a tasty bite, or have a drink in a unique setting, La Banchina is absolutely worth a visit!

A really great spot. Went on two cold autumn days across my trip and had a dip and then enjoyed some tea and coffee. The vibes inside are super cozy in the colder months and the swimming area is nice and quiet, although I know in summer it is much more social and packed. A lovely place to reflect and slow down, the staff are very welcoming too.

This is such a great spot. We went on a sunny Saturday afternoon and still managed to snag a seat. You can order beers, wines and food from the bar and bring them over to enjoy wherever you’re sitting. A great spot for swimming or just chilling by the water with a cool vibe.

Spectacular organic fish shack. Seasonal short menu but everything was a star. The fish burger was amazing with oyster mayonnaise and brioche. Also loved the smoked cauliflower. Great organic wines as well.

I love Thai food. Have eaten Thai food my whole life. Have never eaten Thai food like this. Super interesting. The table next to us even got to blowtorch their own crust. They definitely don't hold back on the spice level. Whole meal took about 3 hours start to finish. Service was friendly. Only complaint is that the pescatarian substitution for the beef being fishcake felt a bit.. cheap.. I was told it would be king prawn. Then again I did request no beef just before the meal. Would describe more but better you try it for yourself. Just Thai flavours in textures you've never tried before. While I definitely enjoyed my meal here, if I had to choose between this and my regular Thai takeout, I think I'd still go with the latter. Would recommend this as a try if you want Thai food but different.

One of the few Thai restaurants with a Michelin star. It’s a blend of traditional and some fusion mix of Thai food. We had the 6 course menu. The concept starts with a mix of snacks while you are in the main lobby of the restaurant and then you are ushered to the main dining room for the 6 course menu. The menu includes a soup, some sea food dishes and ends up with a meat dish followed by a dessert. The service is good / and attentive and expected for a Michelin star restaurant. The wines choices are good too and they have Riesling to start / followed by wine pairings if Chardonnay / Rose wine and Red Italian wine with the main meat dish. There is some innovation/ some dishes are delicious and overall the experience is a good one. It’s also decent and reasonably priced as compared to other various Michelin starred restaurants in Copenhagen/ or any other big European metropolis. Soup to begin with was delicious, one of the salmon and caviar dish was excellent and so was the meat with rice as a final main course. I would say overall worth a visit especially if you want a break from Nordic cuisines and want something spicy and Asian. Wine pairing is decent and if you don’t mind the additional cost then I would recommend. Meal for 2 is easily 400 euros without wine pairings. Verdict 4/5

A relic of Michelin days past. A decade or two ago, this was likely a ground breaking experience in light handed fusion of Royal Thai cuisine in a French haute cuisine format, but times and trends have moved on, and Kiin Kiin has not evolved or kept pace with what’s available on the international scene in its class of restaurant at this price point. I can see how this must have burst onto the scene so long ago, because the concept is interesting; the 6 amuse bouche/ snacks to start the meal are innovative in their mix of traditional flavours, spice, heat and textures and were one of the highlights. But as the meal progressed some of the table side theatrics just began to feel unnecessary and almost detracted from the actual quality of the cooking. Asian diners familiar with fine dining or the Michelin and even non Michelin accredited establishments in South East Asia will likely be disappointed here because the flavours are familiar but not elevated enough for them to appreciate. That said, anyone who is less familiar or just craving a light haute cuisine Asian experience for date night or a special occasion will enjoy the evening. The environment and decor is a little dated and lacks the refinement and sophistication of other establishments at this price point. But it’s still comfortable and… maybe a little too warm. The AC here is stuffy so try to be seated near a window so you can personally modulate the draft from the window yourself. The aromatic crab curry with home made rice noodle was a highlight. The curry is delicate enough to be turned into an espuma which highlights the delicate flavour and aromatics. Many of the other dishes felt very heavy handed in salt and acid and lacked the sophistication and execution of this dish. And like I said before, some of the fussiness took away from the actual good cooking of the kitchen. Not so in this dish. Service was pleasant and the establishment is run by a mostly Asian crew predominantly Thai in ethnicity to give it that exotic feeling. They seem to enjoy entertaining you and helped to make the night more of an experience.

Not a Michelin star imho. The starters on the main floor were the best. Service, flavors, atmosphere. Upstairs for the rest was tediously long… too much time between courses. Service was not good at all. Courses were trying too hard . Way too much fuss, and not enough good food. Oh, and my wine pairing with each course came late . Spend your money elsewhere. Ps- the book by the chef(?) saved the day -on each table to read while you wait, I guess . Very good .

We celebrated our anniversary at kiin kiin on the 20th of Dec 2024 and wow wow wow …everything from the service to the food was Perfection to a T ♥️ from the snack table to upstairs for the main menu 🙌🏻🙌🏻. We loved how they made us feel more special and the food and experience was on another level 👏🏾👏🏾. It’s definitely one of the 10/10 best experiences you can have in Copenhagen 🇩🇰❤️ . This was actually our second time at kiin kiin and both times are Perfect 👌🏾, looking forward to our third !!!!

We had the tasting menu in September 2024 when visiting Denmark, with some adjustments made by the chef to make it halal for myself and my husband. And they kept it normal menu for my in-laws as they are not Muslims. Was very accommodating and friendly staff, they keep your glasses full and stomach satisfied. My father in law recently visited Copenhagen for work, and dined the restaurant again and loved it again. It is also very reasonably priced and very filling. Highly recommended!

I arrived without a reservation, and even though the restaurant was full, they managed to accommodate me. The food was delicious—I ordered the course menu. Handmade bread was delicious, , but butter was too salty. Some plates took a bit long to arrive, but it was worth the wait, all were delicious! Service was excellent

Five star food, and top notch service. Superb oysters! Fabulous craft beer. But after this delicious pricey meal, I ate an entire hamburger with fries in our hotel room, because the restaurant’s portions are sooo small.

We stumbled on this michellin star restaurant by accident with no reservations but were seated with no wait. Incredibly child friendly for an 8 year old though no kids menu. No pretentious dress code. Food was delicious. Even my picky child ate the food. Portions are small. They recommend 2-3 plates per person and they do charge for water.

Hands down, the best food I had in my Copenhagen trip. The famous open bread sandwich was out of the world. Excellent service too.

I visited alone but all the staff were welcoming and attentive, so I enjoyed relaxing time. Monkfish had like a bit of posh French taste, so was luxurious meal. Could say the best place in Copenhagen.

One of our go to places for smørrebrød. They also have great dinner but smørrebrød is the best. Great food - awesome service and always nice atmosphere. You need a reservation because it is superbusy.

Honestly, I know this place is hyped and popular, but I had an average experience here. I’m glad I went though and got to try the food, but I’m not sure it was worth the 15 minute wait in line for a table. It was a lot of tourists in line so I’m not sure how the locals feel about it, but the food was pretty average for the prices and wait time. The restaurant is definitely so well decorated and cozy, with its rustic eclectic feel. 10/10 for atmosphere. Coffee was really great, avocado toast and oatmeal was mid.

Atelier Septembre is a decent coffee, breakfast, and brunch spot, but it doesn't quite live up to the hype. The food is tasty but some dishes come across as a bit pretentious—"Kyoto style" grapefruit being simply some grapefruit pieces with a few mint leaves. However the Coffee is good and generous in size. But with limited seating, slow service, and high prices, it's probably not worth going out of your way to visit.

Probably my favorite location, it is less busy and feels more relaxed. The bathrooms need a renovation though, one is out of order other one looks insane 🫢

Small and cozy cafe. We went in for breakfast and we were able to secure a table without waiting for too long. The blueberry pancake was delicious. The combination of blueberry sauce & vanilla cream was perfectly balanced with the almond pancake. Other dishes were okay. Typical avocado toast, bread and cheese. Would not recommend other drinks than coffee. Matcha was very light and diluted, almost like drinking water. Ambiance was great and relaxed. Everything was on a pricier side considering the taste & portion. The service was friendly and the food was fast.

The place to be when in Copenhagen. Maybe the most hyped cafe in town but so much worth it. If you have to try something from the menu go for the almond pancake - it is unlike any other pancake and maybe the best I had so far. No need to talk about interior and aesthetics, a true Scandinavian vibe.

Atelier is among the best café/restaurant anywhere. The thought that has gone into the food and the drinks is great: even classic stuff like their porridge or hot (oat) chocolate is made in a quirky way that makes the stuff just wonderful and super special. Did I mention the soups? This has become my go-to place after trying out lots of different locations in Copenhagen. I simply love this place :). The staff is extremely nice. Sure, there is no toilet besides one across the street as I see someone pointed out, but focusing on that means royally missing the point of this place. Highly recommended.

Simplicity is the key! We tried avocadomad and bread with butter, cheese and egg. Love it. The filter coffee was great. Atelier is small but cozy place with really nice stuff. Be careful because we waited about 1 hour to be seated on Saturday morning (around 10am) :(

Brus is brewing what you need. Lots of different beers and many other great drinks made in-house or close by. Lovely welcoming interior and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and fast service.

A lovely place, with a fantastic bar, a restaurant section, and a brewery too! I was here for lunch time with a friend, we enjoyed a delicious sandwich with slow cooked pork, and a few of their beers on tap. It is also possible to have samplers before ordering a beer. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

The wings might just have been the best wings I’ve ever eaten. I mean world championship level wings. The burger was rich, and I loved every single bite. Seriously good. Your taste buds will thank you. Wasn’t so keen on the chicken parm. Service was okay. Don’t forget to order at the bar. BRUS your chef needs a raise because those wings have been in my dreams every night since my visit.

The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and kind. chicken wings, and fries were tasty. We also tried their beers, and they were very delicious.

Great Smash burgers on a cool corner in Nørrebro. Good atmosphere with a fun crowd on the weekend. Great selection of beers and a mixture of 2-4 person and long shared tables for bigger groups.

It is so sad and too bad - because the place, the area is so cool but when the people working there seems more interested in their friends hanging in the bar and talking to them instead of giving a paying guest waiting to order any attention - that is just unprofessional and if I was a manager I’d correct that. Also - no smiles from anyone - they looked really bored at work.

The vibes are good at Brus. Incredible selection of beer from Copenhagen and beyond. Whoever is in charge of the music selection should be given a raise, their taste is on point.

Obviously very unique experience. Although it's quite expensive but it does worth the money. It is not only about the food while part of the dishes not really about being tasty but some kind of the statement. All around they have an amazing cocktails and wine list. In some of the dishes the chef combines successfully great taste with the statement, in some of them the taste wasnt the issue. Bottom line- highly recommended experience

Extraordinary experience for the eyes, mouth and brain! Chef Rasmus was very present during the service, presenting three impressions and came by to chat as the meal was winding down at the lounge, which was a great opportunity to ask questions and take pictures!

The best dining (and hospitality) experience I've ever had. The dishes range from innovative spins on classic flavors from around the world to avant-garde art bites meant to challenge the way you think about what we eat and why we eat it. Provocative, challenging, educational, and delicious. The many changes in setting (the meal is served across five rooms) built a huge sense of anticipation across the night, and the multi-sensory experience of the main dining room is almost overwhelming at times. Above all, though, the impression I will be left with is how incredible the service at Alchemist is. Every dish was presented with a story to help contextualize our experience, and the beverage pairings (both wine and non-wine) were unreal. Service was attentive, fluid, and highly flexible. Our sommelier, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and able to create an experience that felt special and personalized to us as guests. The care that goes into the customer experience is evident across all team members. Could not recommend the Alchemist highly enough.

It should definitely win the title of best restaurant in the world! Impeccable service, unique customer care, and the taste of the dishes is surprising. Top marks

The best dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, and made sure our experience was perfectly in order. When it comes to the food… words are not enough to express their taste. It was not just a delicious meal but a sensory tease in every aspect. Visuals, music, the stories and morals behind each dish… This is a must visit experience for everyone seeking more than just food and taste. I can not call this place just a restaurant, as it is way more than that. I wouldn’t imagine a dish could change my perspective in different aspects of life and made me more conscious about deep topics that we don’t really think about in our daily lives. Outstanding!
