We ate at Murphy's after reading some great reviews. We were NOT disappointed. The first thing we noticed were the specials outside along with the sign advertising a discount to 1st responders. My husband and I are both 1st responders so we knew we'd picked a good place. Once inside we saw all the patches and loved the atmosphere. We ate upstairs. I had the special of the soft shelled crab sandwich with fries and my husband had fish and chips. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Thank you all, well done.

The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s not a bad place to have a drink, but I would certainly stay clear of eating here. I asked the manager if he would eat my dish and he said no as it was awful. There was something in my dish which I couldn’t tell which part of the animal it came from. I ordered the beef stew. Upon looking at other Google photos of the same dish it appears that mine was lacking peas, onion, and celery too.

If you want a really cheap brunch, look no further. It really is a deal, though don’t expect great fantastic food. It’s fine for its price point. We got two adult entrees and two drinks for under $40. But it seems like the servers are really spread thin. Also, the restaurant itself smells funny. We ate outside, but had that not been an option I would have left before ordering.

This place is very cool! The food was incredible and the service was 5 star all the way. Jimmy is super nice and keeps the drinks coming. The walls are covered in Police uniform patches and it was a lot of fun to look them all over. We were there for lunch during our vacation and it was our favorite food stop! Mahi Mahi tacos, wings, and Bangers and Mash…all DELICIOUS!! Check this place out if you’re in Alexandria.

Great Irish Pub with great atmosphere and great service. Perfect for a drink and some food. Don’t sleep on their brunch! They have some classic Irish dishes and American classics. Super reasonable prices.

Great spot, wish I could’ve caught the live music but the atmosphere was still nice. Got the egg rolls for the happy hour price, great deal for happy hour food.

I was in town for business and really enjoyed my time at Murphy's! I sat at the upstairs bar and the most wonderful bartender (can't recall her name but she was Serbian, I think) did a great job taking care of me. I loved the Smithwicks on draft, the atmosphere was great and the people, friendly. Yeah, I was "That Guy" with the laptop at a bar but if ya gotta work, you might as well do it in the company of happy people while drinking a great beer! Thanks for hosting me and treating me like family! See you next year.

Im usually a big cider fan and was excited to try out this spot. It fell short for me. I tried about 4 different ciders and honestly, I didn’t really feel like they tasted as ciders. It unfortunately felt like a type of water. The staff was really nice, they had a lovely older gentleman playing the guitar and a good truck on site that I did not test out.

This place is awesome and I would’ve easily given 5 stars but I didn’t really enjoy any of the ciders I tried…they lacked flavor and none of the four I tasted were sweet enough. I’m not a fan of super sugary drinks, but need at least a tinge of sweetness—which the ciders here were lacking. Everything else was great—servers were very friendly, large indoor and outdoor space, food truck on site, very dog friendly (indoor and outdoor), clean bathrooms, etc. I love cider and want to love their cider—will give it another try. Regardless of the cider, it’s a great place to spend an afternoon and play games/have strangers give your dog attention😂

Yellow Door Concert Series had some great jazz music playing at the Lost Boy Cider last night. That created a cool vibe to hang out in. Lots of ciders to choose from. My favorite was the hot gingerbread cider - yum! There is a self-service water cooler adjacent to the bar. The bartenders were very friendly and provided quick service. They offered tastes/samples of the various ciders to help you decide what flavor to get. Seating options are benches, stools at high top tables, or regular chairs at tables. There is a bookshelf with boardgames to play, which is always fun! Dog friendly place with some sweet, adorable dogs to watch. Plenty of free parking in the lot adjacent to bar. Looks as if in warmer weather there are garage doors to open access and some outside seating. Food is provided by food trucks. I didn’t have anything but other people’s food looked good. Nice that there are cans to go and other merchandise that you can purchase. There was also a calendar of fun events like yoga & cider… Definitely check this place out!

Just found this place and it's incredible. Great vibe, great location, relaxing, and I've never seen so many different types of cider. Some not so sweet, which is my personal preference. Really delicious. Definitely worth checking out and hanging out for a while.

Had a great time hanging out with friends at Lost Boy Cider. The cider was really good and to our surprise, Daisy's Legacy Rescue was there with some friendly dogs and nice volunteers. We will definitely be back in town to visit again.

Lost Boy was a super laid back environment with a huge cider selection including dessert ciders and frozen cider. We loved that they are family oriented so you can bring your kid as well as your dog. They allowed for a small sample of the ciders prior to purchase which helped me to narrow down my selection easier. We will definitely be back again!

It was our first time here and we got a table! My fiancé and dad ordered flights to sample and I was feeling bold and ordered a glass of the Stick season (I believe it’s called) which was honestly in my opinion one of the best ones! It was so good my dad bought cans to go home with! We also liked the gingerbread! These ciders were definitely a little more sweet compared to their other ones but way less sweet than most ciders out there! It was a cool place to visit in between doing activities at the National Harbor!

We haven’t been for a year. Wanted a quick lunch and we happen to see street parking next to it. The food is not bad. It’s consistently average. We had the fried pickles, rack of ribs, meatloaf, and house burger. Fried pickles were super salty. Service was perfunctory but our server was personable.

Theismann’s is… fine. It’s a pretty average spot, but it has a good sports bar vibe. There are TVs everywhere, so whether it’s college football, basketball, baseball, or whatever’s in season, you can usually catch the game. The location is really convenient, right next to the metro and at the start of King Street in Old Town. It’s an easy place to meet up before heading down King Street for barhopping or sightseeing. The beer selection is solid, and the menu hits all the usual bar food notes. That said, some dishes can be hit or miss. I’ve noticed they tend to go heavy on the salt (the fried pickles and chicken sandwich especially), and my fish and chips came out a bit overdone, the batter was way too dark. Still edible, just not great. On the flip side, I’d recommend the French onion soup. It’s consistently good and a nice option if you want something smaller. Overall, I’d call it a 3/5. Not terrible, not amazing. Just an average place to grab a drink and a bite with friends, especially if convenience and location are what you’re after.

Had the crab dip I give it a 8.5/10 The pizza I give a 9/10 (smaller then expected it’s morso a personalized one) The naked terriaki wings I give a 7/10 next time I would try a different flavor. The cinnamon bun was fresh and warm but I didn’t like the icing flavor it was a bit off to me. Overall I recommend coming to this place service was great atmosphere was good and it wasn’t too expensive. Came with a family of 12.

Nice sports bar to have a bite at. I’m obsessed with their crab dip! I did come back just to have it. It’s has a nice kick and flavor to it. I see the fuss about joes favorite pasta. It was creamy, plentiful and comforting. The wings were crispy and finger licking good. Service each time I’ve visited was good.

The food was good for what it is. The Louisiana Chicken was tasty, but not extraordinary. Service was excellent; atmosphere is what one should expect in a good restaurant. Expect to spend ~$50/person, before drinks.

We had never been here before thus wanting to try it this place out for so long. We waited at the front for a few moments but were warmly greeted by a girl with red tips in her hair and a man who promptly walked up to the host stand to greet us. They were both very kind and professional. Bartenders Justin & Carly made the experience for us. Carly greeted us with a smile and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu - giving us recommendations & making us aware of what the restaurant was known for. Justin followed up taking our food order and was simple an angel letting us modify menu items and genuinely being kind throughout. The food was exceptional! I had the filet and my fiancé had the Reuben, so good - oh my goodness! We followed it with dessert which was also fantastic - peanut butter cheesecake, just so good! Espresso martini was perfect. Just all around an amazing experience, thank you all so much! We cannot wait to come back.

The restaurant has a long-standing tradition, having been established in 1976. The menu is diverse, with many dishes made from seafood. There are very few options with beef, pork, or chicken. The flavors are very much in the American style, with a few Mexican dishes as well. Prices are reasonable — around $25 per person. Some staff members were very enthusiastic, though a few were not particularly friendly.

We had a good experience at The Fish Market Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. The food was fresh and flavorful, with a wide variety of seafood options to choose from. I had the jerk shrimp tacos, which were absolutely delicious. I also had the lobster bisque which wasn’t the best I’ve had since it was a bit thin, but it was still very tasty. My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. The tuna wasn’t alive, but it did seem like it was swimming in sauce! It was creamier than expected. A bit much. We sat outside on a balcony overlooking busy King Street, which made for great people-watching and added to the charm. Prices were very reasonable, around $25 to $30 per person. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially our waitress, who was maybe even a little too attentive at times, but it was appreciated. Overall, this is a great spot for a casual seafood meal in a lively, historic setting. We would definitely go back.

Love the waterfront area of Old Town, first time here. The food was decent overall. Was disappointed with the limited “sides” options to substitute if you did not want what they paired the food with. The calamari was not great like I was expecting! The salmon blt was pretty good. I highly recommend the spicy Cajun pasta! Absolutely delicious

Lobster BLT Salad was awesome! The Bacon & Avocado - Fabulous! It was all naturally gluten free in case you wanted to know... My husband said the Lobster roll & side Caesar were delicious! Excellent cocktails! Margarita's ❤️🩷

They have a wide variety of seafood dishes. The restaurant is perfectly located right in the heart of Old Town. We had clam chowder (a bit salty but otherwise good - not pictured), the fried shrimp platter and the rainbow trout platter which were good. For the location the prices are very reasonable.

08/01/2025- Happy Birthday to me! WOW, what a great surprise! My daughter and grand-daughter took me to this restaurant for dinner! I ordered crab cakes and sweet potatoes fries. There was street parking ( a little hard to find) plus parking garages with hefty fees. I love the brick cobblestone sidewalks we walked on! There was outside seating and door-to-door ice cream shops and other venues including street entertainers! Inside was nice too but we chose outside seating which was fast! Food:!delicious! Great Birthday 🎂 dinner experience!

We were a little overwhelmed on the street, but the fish market stood out to us pretty quickly for their happy hour and Raw bar choices. The shrimp was so amazing we had to purchase the seasoning! I recommend doing so so you can re-create this great experience, even if you don’t live in Virginia!

Fantastic atmosphere, food, and service! I came here for restaurant week, which featured a special menu. The crab arancini was well done as an appetizer, but the chicken picatta as a main course was AMAZING. My date got the branzino, which was almost as good, but still fantastic. The desserts were equally delicious. Very happy we came here!

We were able to get a table for 2 at 5pm on a Friday, however the host was a little off-putting telling us “well I can seat you, but we need the table by 6.” We said that was fine, however in reality that isn’t something you should be telling us.. tell the server and kitchen staff so they can speed up the service if need be. Anyway, we sat down and our server Suzanne was the best.. very friendly and chatty, with good recommendations! We bother ordered the Majestic (a 4 course selection) and were very happy with the portions. Not too little, but not too much. 6pm came and went, and no one said a word to us about having to need the table for a reservation. Honestly, I don’t even think we had our main course by 6pm.. so really what were they going to do? All in all, highly recommend. The food was amazing. The artichokes had a bit of a “pickle” taste, which I love. Crab Rangoon’s were creamy. Feta dip was delicious (tip, ask for extra bread-you’ll need it)! Mussels were tender. Harvest and Honey crisp salads were flavorful. And the Hanger Steak Frites was melt in your mouth! We can’t wait to visit again!

Went for Father’s Day brunch and had a good experience! Shared the oxtail baklava with the table and that was unique and tasty. Ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich and it was delicious too—3 of us ordered the same dish and I don’t think any of us finished it so it was quite hefty! I saw some people order the French toast and it looked amazing so next time when I want something sweet I’d definitely try it. Also want to try the goat cheese stuffed dates. Service was good too and they were very accommodating to us needing to have the stroller by our table since our baby was sleeping in it. Ambiance was nice too. Overall very pleasant experience and would go back!

I loved my meal at The Majestic! First of all, the ambiance and decor of the restaurant is intimate, which was pleasant. I ordered the build your own four course dinner, and everything that was presented was so delicious! The Crab Rangoon bites were flavorful between the sauce, creamy filling, and crispy exterior. The mussels were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and I savored every bite. The kale and honey crisp salad was refreshing. I really enjoyed the bites of creamy goat cheese that paired so well with the honey crisp apple slices, kale, and other ingredients. Finally, the hanger steak frites were phenomenal. I’ve never tried hanger steak before so I didn’t expect it to be so tender and rich in flavor. I throughly enjoyed every last bite of my meal. The waiter and staff were also so pleasant and helpful, and made my dining experience so positive. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We dined at The Majestic late night and made it just before the kitchen closed around 10 p.m.—and I’m so glad we did! The food was phenomenal from start to finish. We started with the Crab Rangoons and the Oxtail Baklava, both of which were incredible. The crab rangoons were so good that we immediately ordered a second round. We also tried the Majestic Parker House Rolls—they looked beautiful, but they weren’t the soft rolls we expected and were a bit harder than we prefer. For mains, we had the Hanger Steak Frites, Ragù Bolognese, and the Zucchini Pesto & Fusilli. Everything was delicious, but the steak frites stole the show—perfectly tender, seasoned to perfection, and topped with garlic butter that melted in your mouth. Absolute standout dish. To sip on, we had the Majestic Old Fashioned and a whiskey on the rocks, both well-made and a great complement to the meal. The restaurant had an intimate ambiance. We chose a cozy booth instead of sitting at the bar, which made it feel even more comfortable. The service was excellent—attentive, warm, and welcoming, especially considering we arrived close to closing time. The bathrooms were also clean, though located downstairs. Overall, The Majestic has officially made my list of go-to spots for late-night dining with top-tier food, drinks, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!

I love The Majestic! If you want a solid meal with great service, this is your spot. Victoria is a wonderful server. My friend and I came in on Sunday during brunch hours craving a meal that was not on the menu. She spoke to the chef and they were able to create a special variation of the craved meal. We went for brunch today and this place did not disappoint! The bites were bigger portions than we expected and everything was delicious! Our server was Fernando and he had a trainee - they were both wonderful and attentive. Big fan of the sausage beignets and the chorizo croquettes! We will definitely be back again.

As a Chef myself, I know how tough kitchen work can be, and I truly want to thank the team behind the scenes. The food was absolutely delicious, 20/10! One of my favorite bars in Alexandria. Awesome history. Great atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks. Tim in the Whiskey Bar is one of the best bartenders: helps craft drinks to fit every taste. He’s half the reason I show up every weekend.

Not great service. Had to ask for water refills twice. Appetizer order was wrong (but they comped it when it finally arrived). With all of the options in the area I’d definitely go somewhere else. Food was just ok. Good of you want to people watch from a window seat. Old Bay wings were lacking in flavor. Alcoholic drinks were just ok.

Came here with an empty stomach and high hopes after a walking tour of Old Town. The ambiance is cool and friendly staff, but my food was horrible. I ordered the special of the day as advertised on the sign outside, which was the Margherita pizza. Oh man what a big choice. Imagine the lunch room pizza you got as a kid in elementary school. That is exactly what they served me. Floppy crust with way too much bad cheese and charged me $16.00. My wife got the crab cake sandwich, which was pretty good. I’m sure a great place for drinks and some limited bar menu items. Just don’t get the Margherita pizza…I implore you!

An excellent pub/restaurant in Alexandria. Great food, great atmosphere. I had the scallop and shrimp risotto- fabulous. Great draft beers, including Guinness. Indoor and outdoor seating. Quiet rear whisky bar. Just a super place.

Amazing staff! We had a corporate happy hour here and it was a huge hit. The bartenders (Vanessa and Colin) were fantastic and super lovely. The event coordinator Cheryl and the owner Joe are very responsive and so kind. Also a shoutout to another bartender Bruce who was amazing as well. Highly recommend this place - we are already planning to go back. Thank you!!

Crab cake sandwich was great. The tartar sauce is fantastic and the side salad was excellent. Coleslaw was also very good. Service was excellent- we were there during a slow period and did not get ignored (we have experienced this at other places). Comfortable seating, nice decor.

Laporta’s is a cozy gem in Alexandria with outstanding service, a warm, inviting atmosphere, and live light jazz that sets the perfect mood. The hanger steak was tender and flavorful, the scallops perfectly seared with creamy risotto, and the curry mahi mahi was a standout—flaky and rich with just the right spice. We finished with carrot cake and chocolate cake—both moist, decadent, and clearly made in-house. Great food, smooth music, and an all-around relaxing, elevated dining experience. Highly recommend!

The Jazz trio was outstanding. The food was excellent. But the venue? Please! There was a light in the lobby tilted like a spotlight into my eyes. I mentioned it but nobody fixed it I asked and they did dim the club lights but the lobby lights were still distracting. Maybe put a short, or long curtain on the lobby side? And while I’m on it, the tables should be a little closer together, more intimate; heck it’s a club. I loved it as much as I could, but they need to work on the jazz club atmosphere. The musicians were wonderful. Really wonderful. It wasn’t bad, just could be so better.

Nice band playing, food was excellent. Seems like an older crowd, couples just sitting drinking wine and listening. I fit in, no problem. Not many people there on a Thursday evening around 7pm. I'd come back for sure.

Picked up “Lobster Bisque” and hummus with olive tapenade to go. The hostess was very nice and prompt. The food was abysmal, at best. The lobster bisque had zero lobster. Not even one piece, it also tasted like it had coconut milk in it. Definitely an odd pairing. It went straight in the trash. Hummus and tapenade were just meh. In town for work. This was a great location for me. I was really looking forward to the soup. Sadly, this place will be a miss for me, the next time I come in to town.

Visited last night for dinner. Had reservations. First time. Free after hours parking in garage, next to restaurant. EXCELLENT SERVICE, FOOD, ATMOSPHERE. Our waitress was Sarah. She was attentive, polite and knowledgeable on wine selections, food and desserts. We had bottle service. For dinner, I had the Salmon

We went to see a jazz performance. There was a table from the earlier session who were extremely loud. Several guests complained (even a young lady went up to them and asked them to speak quietly) and they rolled their eyes at her. It seemed like the manager finally appeared to ask them to settle down (who knows). Shortly thereafter, the table of 8 left. The last two guests who were leaving, became belligerent with this older couple. I decided to bring this to the attention to the server next to them and all she could say, I’m too busy serving (her reaction is what led me to write a review). Meanwhile this older couple is being berated in this establishment. What’s worse is that two other people from that party came back and started berating the older couple. The band was lovely but the experience was horrible. Btw, my server was awesome.

We had a great evening at Laporta’s. The food was great, the music was just right and our server was excellent. I really enjoyed the schnitzel. I will go back.

A hidden gem in Old Town! Exactly what a sports bar should be: plenty of TVs, reasonable prices, a great selection of cold beers, and generous portions you probably won’t finish. The burger was excellent, and the service was friendly and fast. My only suggestion would be to make sure the fries are fully cooked, as a few were underdone. Still, with the quality of the food and the welcoming vibe, I’ll definitely keep coming back.

fantastic spot for catching the big game. The atmosphere is refined, with plenty of large screens, so you won’t miss a moment of the NFL. The food is top-notch for a sports bar—juicy sliders, crispy wings, and an impressive selection of local beers. The staff are friendly and hard working. Perfect for a fun, energetic day out if you want to catch the NFL in old town. Plenty of parking on the streets around restaurant.

Everything was wonderful. The food was plentiful and filled with flavors. A great choice of both local and regular beers. I couldn't finish my meal. Adrian, our waiter, was friendly and helpful. A great experience. We'll be back before we leave.

I love this place, it's my new hang out (besides the library and church). Food presentation is lovely. People are nice. Service is fast. Great sports watching. Outdoor patio if I want to vape. You can sit outside and bring your best friend 🐶🐕‍🦺. Hits all my buttons 😊👍

Absolute outstanding place. Every time I’m in old town I will be going here. I don’t know where to begin. The Bubba burger was off the hook. Handmade burger was cooked to perfection with some very good brisket. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to have another. The next night I went and got the wings and I have to say they are in the tops I’ve ever had for smoked wings or any wings for that matter. I can’t tell you how good the smoke taste came through. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to get them again.

Recently renovated and lively evening for our party of hour on a Friday night! Everything from Caesar salads to salmon, jambalaya, fried chicken all great. Will definitely return! Great beers and wine selection too!

Definite potential. Service is good and a nice atmosphere. I went here as my wife met with a friend for dinner. The place was close and looked promising so I checked it out. I started with fried green tomatoes, which were good but I think the batter wasn’t fully cooked through. But I would order again. For my main meal I had the Charleston chicken, which was a solid choice. Well priced, tasty, and filling. Finally, I closed my meal out with the key lime pie, which was great. Overall, I think this restaurant deserves your visit.

First time here. Met a friend for lunch. They have free parking behind the building, huge plus for this area. Inside, nice bar area. Also a separate equally nice dining area. We sat outside in a nice tasteful dining area. The waitress was great, the perfect level of attentiveness. We ate from the lunch menu which is well priced. The quesadillas were great, the nachos were definitely made for two or more to share and equally delicious. I really liked this place and will definitely stop in again. Give them a try!

My husband and I like to try new restaurants and this one came up as a local favorite. We were highly disappointed. We had a great welcoming host and waiter in which he offered us the restaurant week menu! We sat outside but since the bugs were a little much we went inside no problem. It was a $30 per person limited menu with each an appetizer and entree. My husband got the artichoke and crab dip & friend chicken pasta and I got the 815 biscuits & southern chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and green beans as our choices. Appetizer plates were dirty so we requested new ones. Then, the appetizers came out very black and my biscuits were hard. My husbands dip tasted like tuna salad and hot creamed cheese. The bread paired with it was good. The appetizers were very bland and lacked seasoning. My husbands fried chicken was breaded but had no seasoning on anything. My chicken Marsala looked like boiled plated small chicken cutlets with Marsala juice. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned but the garlic greens were good. Their were also flies flying around our inside table. We sent the plates back and decided to pay for our tea and leave.

I love when I find good food places near were I live and this place was a nice surprise. I ordered the blackened catfish along with cheddar grits and fried green tomatoes. All of it was delicious! I would definitely come back for a second taste of the other things on the menu.

This is my go-to restaurant when I don't feel like cooking. The food is decent. The low country with cheddar grits are great. Fried catfish is also really good. Don't get the jambalaya pasta, it has no seasoning. Service is also usually good. Sometimes the host disappears so you have to wait a while to get seated.

We had to take our time to see if we wanted to change the railing. Sorry, it did not help. The food was not great. The nachos we good. They will get soggy before you finish. The collard greens are spicy and did not have flavor to compensate to make them edible. The meatloaf sounded so good. But we did not even want to finish it. We took the leftovers home. We decided to toss them because it was not worth eating. We did not get to test out the bar section. We hope it was better than the food.

Went to Mia’s Italian Kitchen for brunch with a girlfriend, and we had such a great time. The place was buzzing—packed with people enjoying their bottomless brunch, and for good reason. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our food came out quickly, and there was plenty to go around. Everything we tried was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely worth every penny!

A friend recommended Mia’s while I was exploring Old Town solo today, and I’m so glad I went! What a charming spot! I kicked things off with the Wallop (a twist on an Aperol Spritz, but with a bit more of a punch). For starters, I had the arugula strawberry salad and zucchini fries, both absolutely delicious. For my main, my server, Mike, suggested the Cacio e Pepe, which I paired with a blood orange margarita, and I’m so glad I took his advice! Both were fantastic. I enjoyed my meal on the patio, where the atmosphere was just perfect. Overall, great service from Mike, incredible food and drinks, all at a reasonable price. Can’t wait to return and try out their brunch!

WOW!! 🤩 My mother and I had the most relaxing lunch date at Mia’s. I’ve been to many restaurants throughout Europe (primarily Germany, France, Belgium and Italy) and I really love Italian food. This restaurant gives the most authentic European vibes in Old Town Alexandria. Being that fall season is here, they decorated the restaurant and outdoor seating so beautifully! We loved it 🎃🍂🍁 We saw the menu special and both decided on ordering the Strawberry Limoncello Frozen Margarita — and it was spectacular ✨✨✨ Not only was it delicious, it was just a beautiful piece of art! The red from the strawberry and the gold edible glitter just set this thing off!!! 🍓🍋 Such a beautiful and aesthetic piece of art!!! We were wanting a small bite to eat and ordered a personal pizza to share. The pizza here is heavenly!!! The crust is crunchy and delicious, and they had a good variety of topping choices, plus it’s homemade and baked to perfection! I can’t wait to come back and bring more family and friends to enjoy drinks and food here. The staff members were so amazing from the moment we walked in. The waitress even asked if anyone had food allergies and we really appreciated their hospitality and consideration. The place is really nice with great outdoor seating. The giant meatball was incredible, so soft and tender, and the San Marzano marinara had so much flavor. We ended up ordering 2 giant meatballs. It was that good. The burrata was creamy and delicious. The bread they serve tastes charred and it is unbelievably soft inside, easily a 10/10, and it is perfect for dipping in the marinara. The Caesar salad was fine, nothing special, and the sauce was not anything memorable. The white carbonara with mushrooms was really good. The pasta was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of chew. The service was not great. Our waitress was hard to understand, not very attentive, and she forgot things we asked for. Overall, the food deserves a 9/10. I would definitely come back. Also the prices are very reasonable.

Amazing food, Service & outdoor patio! Chicken piccata was great with the exception of the risotto. Would love to have an angel hair pasta or splaying similar. Other than that is was very flavorful and the chicken was moist and the broccoli was perfectly done. Lasagna was very good as well. Nice portion, with crispy edges and yummy center. Could use a bit more sauce but otherwise very well made. Wine was great. Outdoor service was fantastic and such a beautiful night. Good food and great restaurant

Mia’s Italian Kitchen is always my go to for good food and exceptional service. My server Britney was efficient, knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive. She suggested I get the branzino blackened and ever since then that is all I get! I highly suggest everyone to experience Mia’s atleast once. Whether it is for the brunch or even dinner, you will not be disappointed. But make sure you do reservations! It can get packed.

Me and my friend really enjoyed the bottomless brunch. The food was fresh and very flavorful. Our waitress, Debbie, was very friendly and had great recommendations for the Funghi Pizza.

Excellent bar/tavern in Old Town with very friendly service! If you’re a Buffalo Bills fan, Light Horse is also a great place to watch the game as a Bills backer bar! We really enjoyed the spot and thought our food and drinks were delicious.

Located near the intersection of King Street and North Washington Street in Old Town Alexandria, a 20-minute walk from the King Street Metro station (or you can catch one of the two free local eastbound DASH buses or the free Old Town Trolley), you’ll find the Light Horse Restaurant and Bar. This has been a local favorite for at least the fifteen years that I’ve lived in Old Town. Staff members are consistently upbeat and attentive. The bar is well-stocked and reasonably priced for the area, and the menu is eclectic and a lot of fun to work through. During the pandemic a street-side patio became a welcome refuge for us social distancers, and it remains a sunny destination year-round.

Service was incredible, we had a toddler and the guy working was so attentive and kind. And the FOOOD omg. I had the hot chicken sandwich and we shared the deviled eggs. Holy moly. I’ll be thinking of those for the rest of my life. Damn they were good. Oh and thank you for my lemonade. SO GOOD

We had such a pleasant dining experience at the Light Horse on a gorgeous Saturday evening. We were warmly greeted and promptly sat. We had 2 apps and an entree all spaced out and we were never rushed. We had the wings, nachos, and brisket grilled cheese. All three were amazing! Lastly, my boyfriend and I don’t drink and we were SO pleasantly surprised to see NA cocktails and NA beers on the menu. I got a nonalcoholic margarita and it was delicious! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Alexandria!

Great bar that has sports on TV, karaoke on Sun/Mon and trivia on Wed. Great food and not outrageous prices. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend everyone to come here. I feel like a regular here and that's the best thing I could say about it.

The food here was delicious. While walking down King street, I was looking for something to eat and I’m glad I chose this place! Eating outside was a relaxing experience. The inside was nicely decorated as well. The service was great and our server was friendly and attentive. My husband said the wings were delicious coming from a Mexican restaurant. This place would be on my list to return to when in the area!

We ordered a Molcajete for 2 people and it was a lot of food. It was very tasty, came either rice, beans, tortillas, meat, chicken, shrimp, and veggies. The salsas were great. I really enjoyed it. Javier our server was amazing, very friendly.

The food was just okay, nothing particularly impressive. I found it to be on the pricier side, especially considering the average taste. I’ve had similar dishes at other restaurants with better flavor and quality for a lower price. Maybe the higher cost is due to the location, but overall, it didn’t feel worth it to me. Hard to get parking.

We stopped at Urbano for brunch while biking. The chicken tortilla soup, chip/salsa, and breakfast burrito were awesome. Not tl mention the tequila 🤪. Javier was just excellent!!

First off, let me highlight the views from the pier and all around because they’re FANTASTIC! Next, our server Blake was a true rockstar and didn’t skip a beat. Last but certainly not least, the food (small plates) all excellent from the meatballs, scallops, flank steak, Ahi tuna and the hummus. Not one disappointed. Great place and great food!

Found out that this was a great place to watch the sunset. There were many tapas dishes to try. We tried the lamb chops, scallops, stuffed peppers, and a shrimp dish. Everything was delicious. Drinks were great as well! Our server was pleasant and attentive. Definitely recommend for a nice day or evening on the water.

Perfect place for drinks and food with family. I loved everything the minute I walked up to the host stand, she was very friendly and sat us down right away. Our waiter and the waiter in training were both super knowledgeable about the food and recommended us what drinks & plates to order. Everything was very tasty & delicious. I can’t wait to go back! We did get there by boat & by the time of our reservation 12:45pm- there was only one more space on the dock directly to the restaurant but there’s plenty more space on the other side!

The food was phenomenal.. It came out quickly, was very flavorful and I enjoyed everything we ordered. However, note that it is tapas style, so small portions, making it a bit pricier. We ordered the lamb, steak, shrimp, beef kebab and calamari and they were all very very tasty with the steak, lamb, and beef being my faves in that order. Also the ambiance being on the water was really nice. Would definitely recommend

I went to BARCA for Sunday brunch and had a great time. The restaurant is right on the pier so you have a waterfront view. The food is tapas style and everything was flavorful and delicious. Will definitely go back again!

Had a drink, an appetizer, and a tapa here for the first time, sitting outside in their waterfront section of their restaurant. It was a great setting on a nice fall day. Drinks and food came quickly. Watching boats and planes go bye along with the people watching and good conversation made for a pleasant afternoon. What's more, the prices are reasonable for Old Town Alexandria. We'll be back.

Old Town Alexandria has been my home for 14 years. One of the most impressive developments during that time has been the upgrading of the waterfront abutting the Torpedo Factory, along Union Street and radiating to the north and south points of King Street. Walking from Jones Point Park to the waterfront near where the Potomac Water Taxi docks, you can take in the stunning view of where the Woodrow Wilson Bridge anchors in the Potomac River. BARCA Pier and Wine Bar captures the river, the bridge, and the waterfront with grace and style. While its pier closes during the coldest winter weeks, four-foot ceiling-mounted heaters do a splendid job of keeping the counter and seats warm at this open-air bar. I’ve found the service to be personable, polite, and helpful. I’ve also found their mixed drink specials to be intriguing (see, e.g., Makers Mark on tap in a Red Light, with bourbon, Aperol, strawberry infused Spanish vermouth, $15) and tasty (see, e.g., the Sol y Sombra, made with Beefeater gin, St. Elder, cherry bitters, lemon, $13). Crazy busy during the summer, I make a point to visit over the weekends in the late fall, when the temperatures drop below 40o F and the heaters are at full power. A double Beefeater’s with tonic, ($20) offers just the right amount of warmth to complement a brisk walk along the riverside.

First time at Augie’s Mussels and we were so excited! The food was great — we had the Nduja Mussels (recommended by our server), frites, and wings with both Augie’s sauce and green curry. Everything was full of flavor — 8/10 for the food. The service was excellent, 10/10. Our server was friendly, helpful, and made great suggestions. The only disappointment was the restroom cleanliness. We arrived right at opening (11 a.m.), and they were already in rough shape — they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned the night before (or possibly even longer). It was a surprising contrast to the rest of the experience. We’d still come back for the food and service, but hope management pays a little more attention to the restroom upkeep.

Loved this place!! What a great concept for two of my favorite things -- mussels and beer! Service here, from the entire, but small lunch staff, was par excellence! Patrick especially went full out to satisfy our needs. The bar person, the serving/busing staff, and the chef were also wonderful - polite and caring. The chef was even willing to help with a special restrictive diet request so I could eat their excellent soup made with sausage, legumes, and kale--nicely spicy! We were able to enjoy the amazing beer garten to dine al fresco, but the charming interior was pretty quiet due to the gorgeous weather. The majority of patrons were outside either at the double-sided indoor/outdoor bar or sitting at long, substantial picnic style-tables. There is even a counter space area built around a tree. I highly recommend this pub/beergarten-style restaurant! We will definitely return the next time we visit Alexandria😁👍

This is my favorite hangout on King Street when I want something low-key. They’ve got a huge list of appetizers—I usually fill up on those before I even think about an entrée. The outdoor patio has such a great vibe with big tables for sharing, and most of the time there’s live music that makes it even better. Perfect spot for drinks, apps, and a laid-back night out.

Place was slammed on a Monday night. We still found a table and the service was ok. I’m a mussels newbie, but I felt you don’t get much for your money. I had the classic ones, but maybe I should upgrade next time. Fries and dips is a fun addition.

This place is consistently amazing. We have been many times before, always on the patio… most recently we went for Mother’s Day and they gave moms carnations. Order the green curry mussels and ask to get them extra hot (if you can handle spice). Good food and good service.

Cool place. I ordered the cheese fries with pork belly. Hard to screw up but they did. Pork belly should not have the texture of a twelve year old Slim Jim. The cheese sauce was insipid. Fries crunchy but not especially flavorful. Had a nice beer. But I had to look it up with a QR code. Call me old school but I'll take a printed menu any day.

I had a French Dip at Augie's, and I was very disappointed. The mixed greens had two tiny slivers of tomato, about 5 small pieces of onion, and nothing else. The French dip itself had a tiny amount of roast beef in it, mainly being fried onions and a bit of cheese. For 17 dollars it was an absolute insult. The bread was also different, pressed down and with sesame seeds, unlike the French dip from the picture (also attached) The server was awesome - she almost made the visit worth while.

I've dined here twice now, and have had a wonderful experience both times! As other reviews mention, you can tell it's a neighborhood bar as soon as you walk in. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! There is a nice large parking lot to the side, so I haven't had any issues finding a parking spot here! Also, while there is plenty of seating inside the restaurant, if the weather is nice, I definitely recommend sitting on the patio outside! The umbrellas offer plenty of shade, and the seats are actually really comfy! I saw a small private dining room inside, on the way to the restroom as well, so I think they also host small private events. Also, the restroom is kept very clean, which is always a bonus! I ordered the Cobb salad during my last visit, and it was SO good! So good, that I'm still thinking about it weeks later. It came with a slice of cornbread, which was a delicious surprise! I'm definitely going back for more!

Northside 10 is our go-to neighborhood bar in Del Ray. It’s the perfect place to grab a pint or unwind with one of their delicious oyster po boys. The chicken strips are also great and always hit the spot. Their happy hour and lunch specials offer a great value, making it an easy choice whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or staying a while. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and consistently good food. We’re lucky to have this spot in the neighborhood.

Staff was amazing! Malcom and the other staff had amazing customer service. They went above and beyond, accommodated my severe food allergy which I didn’t know was possible until Malcom recommended it! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

This place exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious. They had an extensive drink menu as well as plenty of food choices for all diets. Service was excellent! The patio was dog friendly with ample room for everyone. Atmosphere was pleasant with the clientele ranged from active biking people to those dressed for date night. Can’t go wrong dining here. My family needed to schedule an event for a large group on short notice. The staff was very responsive and flexible. The food was delicious, and there were options for the omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. I so appreciate the service and will definitely be back.

Always a pleasure to stop by this place, but recently came by for their restaurant week. It was 3 courses for $35. I got the wings (slightly salty), sirloin (delicious), and chocolate cake (not amazing). Value for food was great. I also tried the key lime bar and that was really good too. The ribs are delicious.

Very nice brew pub. Good quality beer. Friendly, informative staff. Tony, the head brewer, and Chad, the bartender, were very friendly and helpful. I feel like I had a brewery tour after talking with them. Nice looking pizzas too!

Hannah was amazing! So friendly and cheerful. Great beer and great food the smash burger is not to miss with fries! Also the no backsides doesn’t disappoint. Plus got some knitting in!

A decently broad selection of beers that I enjoyed. The sours are particularly interesting because they start tart but end on a sweet note rather than sour. The interior has a calm but lively atmosphere. There are also first cime first serve board games. There is a beer garden out back that has some comfy chairs and lawn games with a more limited menu. Inside there is a small pizza joint where you can get food.

Staff is AMAZING. Each visit, I’ve had great service plus more. Food is yum and drinks too with quick service. Must get canned for home drinking also! What more could you want?

We recently hosted a team event at Aslin in Alexandria and had a fantastic time! Annie and the event team made sure our space was ready to go and the team was very attentive. We also loved that individuals could order via QR code to their own tab which allowed a much easier tab settlement than 60 people figuring out the bill! Drinks and food were served lightening fast. Definitely recommend!

Came on a Sunday late afternoon and was able to snag a a large table for my group! They do have plenty of seats but it can get full during peak hours. From the outside you can easily miss this place, these is amble parking in the front and side of the building. Inside is nice decorated; a hip vibe. It’s nice you can order food and drinks via the phone or at the bar area. It’s also nice they have an outside beer garden area in the back. We ordered a combination from the bar and at the table. Service was friendly and helpful. It is nice they were able to let you sample and provide suggestions on the beers. We got a couple of items for food, the fries, Brussels sprouts and 2 pizzas. Food was pretty good for a brewery, and the pizza hits the spot after a couple hours of day drinking. Although, it was a tad bit oily. The beers all were great, I especially liked the double IPAs; master of oranges and mind the hops. Overall, it was a great afternoon spent with good drinks and company. I definitely recommend checking this hidden gem. The prices are decent and there is even a little arcade area in the front.

We came for brunch and ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and eggs in purgatory. The quality of the eggs were very low and had an awful smell/taste so that I couldn’t even eat any of it. My companion also got food poisoning. I would avoid coming here for brunch/any egg items. - attached is proof that these items were in fact ordered

Came here for a date night and had a great time. The restaurant is in a great location in old town Alexandria, VA. There is street parking as well as garages near. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors upstairs at a table by the windows. It was a nice comfortable feel. We had a nice view of the park/water area below. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and the service was good. Our food and drinks came out quickly and everything was fresh and tasty. Also we came for an anniversary and the restaurant gave us a complimentary drink on them. That was unexpected but appreciated. There was plenty of options for food and drinks everyone can find something here. Overall id definitely recommend checking this spot out. Its definitely one we will come back to.

The meals we had - Rockfish and Shortribs - were the best we’ve ever had!! AMAZING! Not little meals - no - real meals and simply perfect!! We had the yummy drink special of the week and Clay (our server and new friend) knew more about bourbon selections -than the 6 of us will ever forget. The service - from initially taking drink and appetizer orders through dinner and after dinner drinks- was exemplary!! There seemed to be a team of bar, food and cooking staff that worked together as a family!! Located in the charming Old Town Alexandria, Virtue Feed and Grain offers a delightful dining experience that captures the essence of the area. The atmosphere is wonderful, we sat outside on a gorgeous August evening. It’s the kind of place where you can easily settle in and enjoy a long, leisurely meal. The drink selection is impressive, featuring a variety of creative cocktails and a well-curated wine list. Each sip was enjoyable, and the drinks complemented the meal nicely. While the ambiance and drinks set a high bar, the food, unfortunately, didn’t quite reach the same level of excellence. Some dishes were flavorful but could have benefited from a bit more refinement. There were moments where the flavors didn’t fully come together, which was a bit disappointing given the overall quality of the restaurant. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort put into the atmosphere and drink offerings. I look forward to returning to Virtue Feed and Grain to see how they continue to evolve their menu. It’s definitely worth a visit for the delightful setting and good drinks!

Fantastic spot that gives off local vibes. We were able to get to the bar quickly but don't expect that to be the norm. Great food selection and the bourbon list is lengthy and well curated. Rotating cocktails keep things interesting and fresh.

We had an excellent dining experience at the upstairs bar with Mac. She was extremely knowledgeable on all of the bourbons, cocktails, and menu. She made us several delicious cocktails, and we tried many different bourbons. The brussels sprouts and scotch eggs are a must try. I think my favorite thing that we had was the scallop and shrimp chowder, I believe it was a special, but it was absolutely outstanding!

Food was fantastic, especially the mozzarella sticks. They have a good brunch menu. Nearby parking garage was much more expensive than necessary and place got packed after we arrived, so recommend getting there early.

This place is super cool. The restaurant is beautiful inside. The menu has a little of everything. We ordered the fish tacos and the fish and chips. They were both amazing and nice portions. Everything tasted fresh. It’s a family friendly place. Our son enjoyed the chicken fingers. There’s plenty of street parking available.

I was visiting with friends and we really enjoyed this restaurant. We were enticed to stop by the beautifully set tables outside and encouraged by the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. The menu was appealing to all of us and we were all very pleased with our selections. The bread and butter was tasty and I had the Chicken Principle Salad which was excellent. My other friends got an egg dish that had beignets and strawberries and cream. They raved on their meal as well. We are all excited to visit again!

We were visiting from out of town and the streets were shut down, all the restaurants and shops were open and there was live music at the park! It is such a beautiful area and I can’t wait to go back. The Warehouse had excellent service and food. Portions were perfect and the drinks were fun and stout. This is a wonderful date night location.

Located in downtown Old Town Alexandria, this restaurant offers a delicious selection of seafood dishes designed to please a wide range of palates. We ordered the fruit de mer (seafood combination pasta). This includes shrimp crab as well as half a lobster. It was delicious. The jambalaya was also very good. The appetizer sea scallops were just okay served with chips and salsa It was a mix of flavors and combination which did not come together very well. The appetizer fried oysters were decent. The margarita was good here. Make a reservation if you want to come on the weekend since they get pretty busy.

Overall a nice relaxed white table cloth restaurant. You can dress up or down. We’ve dined inside 2x and once outside. Dining outside on the street was amazing. The night air was perfect. This was the Alexandria location. We order the fried catfish, mixed veggies and mash potatoes. My wife and ai split one meal. Without asking, the waiter brought our meal on 2 separate plates. We felt that was extremely thoughtful. I order a lemon drop that was very good, and strong. Great taste! The food was well prepared and hot. We would come back.

Food appearance was disappointing. My meal was not what the menu said it would be. Had to send my steak back because it was well done and I ordered medium rare. Asparagus was way over cooked and the garlic mashed potatoes were dry. They were not busy at 6:00 at night so I would hope for better. look at these pictures not the quality that it should be. Will not return or recommend. My meal was the first picture, how sad for $54.95

I would rate this experience a 2 out of 5. We chose to sit outside and waited 20 minutes for our drinks, but the server only brought one. After that, we received our appetizers, which did not came with plates for us to serve ourselves. We enjoyed the appetizers, but then we waited another 20 minutes for our main courses, during which our second drink finally arrived. When the main dishes arrived, we were quite disappointed. They lacked seasoning and were quite bland. While we were pleased with the appetizers, the overall service fell short. Our server seldom checked on us, and we found ourselves without water for a while. Overall, this was by far the worst restaurant experience I've had, and I wouldn’t recommend it. We came based on a friend's recommendation, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning due to the poor service.

My girlfriend and I went here for brunch, and we enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful view ofnthe marina. Great food (if you like oysters or shrimp, this is the place to come to for Sunday brunch. There are other great options as well to choose from if seafood isn't your thing. Excellent Service - Ms. Nicki was our waitress. There was a live band playing jazz or laid back R&B. I even danced. I told my friend that this will be our spot and definitely going back. Heads up to all future patrons please make reservations in advance (I used Open table). Also gratuity is automatically added to your bill. Other than that, eat, drink and enjoy the vibe.

Our small group ate here for brunch. We made online reservations and were seated quickly. The food and service were great. I had a delicious eggs Beni. We were visiting and I forgot to take a photo of my plate. Afterwards we did check out the upstairs. They have great event spaces- upstairs and at the backyard patio (surprisingly large).

A lovely place right on the dock, the food was all pretty, we had the crab fritters 4/5, Lobster bisque 5/5. Shabby 5/5. Short Rib Sandwich 3/5. The server was excellent, and the decor and vibe were both very good.

Amazing! Finally we got to try Hank’s and they didn’t disappoint. Love their calamari, pasta was really delicious. Their choices of oyster make the place special. The second floor is super quiet and can have a nice conversation.

Really love dining at Hank's! It's good for a casual lunch, drinks, or a nice dinner, making it a great place to take guests staying from out of town. The oysters are top notch - always fresh and a good selection, and I highly recommend getting a martini to wash them down. The bartenders make great drinks!! Their small plates are truly amazing and actually not that small, so they're great for sharing with friends. Can recommend the lobster bisque, crab cake, the popcorn shrimp and calamari combo, and the old bay fries. The rooftop terrace has a great vibe and I have always found the staff here to be really friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was great, we were sat at the rooftop. Service was amazing, quick and attentive. The food: oysters are amazing, especially the local ones. I had rockfish and it was over salted. My friend had scallops and it was over cooked, and steak was medium instead of ordered medium rare. But taste was generally good. Drinks were good also.

The rooftop is fantastic. Great beer selection. Open air is great. What they did with this “take out Mac N Cheese” for $8 was nothing short of disappointing. Not sure what to say how this fares for them. Don’t order the Mac n Cheese period. Burger is one of the better ones around though (irony bc it’s Oyster Bar)

AMAZING food in an amazing spot. The oysters, deviled eggs, and lobster roll are unreal. The Nuts & Berries NA cocktail was one of the greatest things I’ve ever tasted, I wish I knew how to make it at home. Such nice staff too and unique specials!

Stopped in to order a quick bite. Had the fried fish sandwich which was good. Old Bay fries were tasty. Need to go back to try the mussels, bbq oysters and crab cakes. Great atmosphere and service.

One of the best, if not THE BEST places to enjoy a cold Guinness and a great meal in Old town. Decorated beautifully inside with old world charm and an amazing atmosphere. It feels like you’ve stepped back in time - away from all of today’s stress. Check out the upstairs patio area - enjoy the night air, a cold beer and the nightlife on the street below.

We've been to O'Connell's plenty of times before, and we recently held our wedding reception here. It was the best experience we could have ever asked for! The reserved area was prepared beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious and we had guests saying to us all night and the days following about how much they loved it. The service was fantastic. Staff was very attentive and handled our reception with great professionalism and compassion. Shoutout to everyone who worked that night. You all made the evening that much more enjoyable! We already loved this restaurant, and this made us love it all the more. Cheers!

We all tried a bite of each other's food, and all of us had a great meal. I got the Spice Bag, and it was absolutely delicious. It's not too hot, chicken pleasantly crispy, excellent curry gravy dip. The outdoor patio was so fun to sit at and watch the people below.

I gave the server ERIK the old "what do you recommend" and let me tell you...my life has forever changed. I ordered the (whiskey sizzler) it was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend to eat. Price was reasonable. Atmosphere was spot on and the service was fast. I WILL BE BACK!

Great little Irish pub in the historical area of Virginia. I'm Irish and English so we opted for the scotch eggs and shepherds pie. The scotch eggs were dry and had more breading than sausage. The shepherds pie was incredible. Fun little pub. Staff was friendly.

The food, beer, atmosphere and service were all just great. The traditional Irish music was outstanding. A 10 piece band in a tiny old fashion corner stage. What a treat!

What can I say? I love a good Ole Irish pub. The whiskey/bourbon selections were decent. The atmosphere was lively and the bartenders attentive. Enjoyed the Irish musicians playing.

Haven't been to Chadwick's in ages but glad to see this water side restaurant still holds up. We were there for their happy hour special, and the burger and fries hit the right spot! Probably some of the best fries I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. The burger was thick, juicy and was cooked to perfection. We had plenty of seating at the upstairs bar and didn't have to wait too long to be served. Definitely coming back to try more of their happy hour bites, plus they're all you can eat crab legs on Wednesday nights.

The food here is solid, but not mind blowing in anyway. Service left a lot to be desired, the manager did have to come and get our order because the servers were all busy. However, our food did come pretty quickly and everything matched our order. Layout is not the best (the front door is the only way servers can get to the outdoor seating). It is confident and close to the waterfront and seems like they have a lot of seating if you have a larger group. Solid, but probably wouldn’t be my first or go-to option.

I just went to Chadwick’s for brunch and loved it! The food and service were wonderful. They have a great variety of savory/sweet brunch food, mocktails, and cocktails! The fried chicken and French toast is a must! Also, the ambience is so cozy and fun!

It's time to grab lunch. I scoped out a few places but I noticed this place has fried green tomatoes on the menu. My tastebuds were tempted so I popped in. I sat at the bar and the vibe was comfy, relaxed with sports on all of the televisions -- a good thing! I needed a jump start so I had a Red Bull. Then I ordered fried green tomatoes to start. I like that they cut them in manageable slices sitting on top of bacon jam topped with a mild jalapeño foam. Yum, tasty! I was given hot sauce to try on the tomatoes and, yep, it is really is Damn Good Sauce -- fo' sho!! The sauce added a slight heat and was a good compliment to the tomatoes. So I was torn between shrimp and grits or French toast. I had both of them by asking for a side order of French Toast. Okay, I know the French Toast came with syrup but the whipped butter had a sweet, cinnamon taste that I did not use the syrup. As for the shrimp and grits it was a good portion. It had bacon and caper sprinkled in that those flavors elevated the dish. To top it off I splashed some Damn Good Sauce on it. By now I was getting full at this point so I made sure to eat all of the shrimps. I enjoyed the presentation and textures of each delish dish. I was told the Damn Good Sauce is made locally so I will buy some soon, yum! Overall it was good food and friendly service.

If I could give a zero I would! I came to visit family in virginia from Australia and they had raved about your restaurant and food so I was super excited. Got there at 12:30 sat outside in the sun had our server get us drinks and the starter fried green tomatos then took 30 min to come out. She came back out 15 min later to tell us there was a huge table inside and it would be longer than expected. She didn't take the dirty plates or offer any more drinks. I went in to go to the bathroom and the place was empty besides that one big table and she was sitting down with the host doing absolutely nothing. When our 2 mains did come out it was ond of the kitchen staff from the side ally not even our server and we had to ask him to take the dirty plates. No one even gave us the bill my twin sister had to go in and ask. Still our server was no where to be found. I love the service in the us and canada and im happy to tip even though its not the culture in Australia but this was appalling and we should have just walked out no one would have even noticed. Please if you cant have great service on a slow day what is it like when its busy. Don't go mid week in fall.

What a fantastic hidden gem in Old Town Alexandria! We loved the "spooky" festive Halloween decor that really drew us in, but also the food was fantastic! Will definitely be back as we had a great experience. We loved the Brunch offerings. Tip: do yourself a favor and order the Fried Green Tomatoes - you won't regret it!

Ogi was a fantastic server. The food was delicious, the drinks delightful. We had a slight issue with our meal, and Ogi resolved it in an incredibly expedient fashion to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. I can't recommend him or Chadwicks enough!

Our server, Stephanie, was a joy as well. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave wonderful recommendations (it was our first time there). While we were there, we noticed the restrooms being cleaned, which is always nice. I highly recommend Vola's!

The food and service were like Whoa! EVERYTHING was treated well. The calamari had tentacles and rings, seasoned well with fried red peppers which worked! The blackened shrimp were HUGE, full of flavor, and were THE BEST I have had. NOW the SEABASS was AHHMAZZING, cooked to PERFECTION, and paired well with the Orzo. I opted to omit tomatoes and added spinach, FIYA! I don't care for cooked tomatoes! The seafood pasta was full of crabmeat in every bite, lots of scallops, and the sauce, was GREAT. The rigatoni was not evenly al dente BUT if u like al dente, u will love this! Oh, the hush puppies, MUST try!

Great atmosphere. Even sitting inside it is easy to get a seat by the windows where you can see the water. Food was mostly very good. Crab hushpuppies used fresh crab and had a spicy kick. Crispy on the outside. Would get again. I also had the Blackened Salmon. Loved the Farro and tomatoes it comes with. The salmon itself had two issues; not blackened/seasoned enough and no skin. The fish still tasted good overall which is why this rating is a 5. Would be happy to visit again!

MUST GO TO VOLAS IN ALEXANDRIA! I was blown away by how delicious every single dish was! Excellent food and excellent service - the host was lovely, our waitress was awesome, the manager also checked on our table - top tier. We also got to enjoy a beautiful view. Highly recommend. The sea bass and grouper (catch of the day) were my favorite. Everything was scrumptious.

Love this place!! I've only been here twice, yesterday being the second time, the staff and management are so friendly and accommodating. I have a lot of food allergies and don't eat seafood or meat, and the 2 times I've been here they've made sure to double check on any sauces that may contain an allergen of mine, even crafted a cocktail for me with happy hour pricing because I'm allergic to all citrus fruits and mostly all cocktails contain some sort of citrus. Anywho, I'm writing this review, because yesterday I left my food (Veggie Burger & Fries), and I called today just to see if it could be replaced...I had no expectation but it was worth a try. The manager was so nice about it and even asked when would be a good time for me to pick it up!! The food is so fresh, the veggie burger is ACTUALLY VEGGIES and NOT a beyond or impossible burger....which is rare these days!! Literally will come here just for this veggie burger and the service!! Thank you again for being so accommodating and friendly, I really appreciate it. (I wish I could remember the bartender's name from my first visit and my server's name from yesterday....they deserve a mention BY NAME)

Food: toooooooo salty! It was not only my dish, we had a group of 4 and all of us got super salty food. Service: our server had runny nose. He was not using any kind of tissues. He was just cleaning his nose with the same hand he was serving us food and drink. I won't mention his name but he knows himself. Atmosphere: the only good side of this location in nice weather is the atmosphere. In general for about $300 we spent here, I was expecting better service (cleaner) and food quality.

The atmosphere is warm and right next to the pier. There are a great many places to sit between inside and outside. The Food: Fried Calamari (6/10) - This tasted pretty good. The reason I give it 6/10 is because the ratio of Calamari to vegetables was way off. A little too much veggies. Oysters (9/10) - These come with 4 different kinds of Oysters from different places. Salty but in a good way and full of flavor. Vola's Eggs Benedict (7.5/10) - I enjoyed the potatoes that came on the side very much. The bread for the benedict was decently buttered and the eggs were perfectly poached. The ham was a tad bit chewy but otherwise decent. Watermelon Arugula Feta Salad w/ Crab Cake (8/10) - Watermelon was juicy, almond slices were super complimentary but could have used a bit more feta. Strawberry Candied Nut Salad (9/10) - Fresh strawberries, fresh greens, the candied nuts were not overly sweet and the dressing was drizzled on perfectly.

Delicious food, casual relaxed atmosphere, implacable service. It was our first time here, we opted for their prefix menu, they call it “farm-to-table menu” I think. There was a nice mix of appetizers, a reasonably sized entree and a few other amuse-bouche bites. Every dish has an interesting, yet excellent twist, with a good mix of complimentary flavors and textures. Like figs & blue cheese, fried oysters and anchovies, etc. The short rib entrée was delicious, complimented with roasted peanuts and perfectly charred, slightly crunchy broccoli rabe. It’s a bit useless to share specific items we had, since menu is seasonal and ever changing, but I will add pictures.

I enjoyed a nice dinner at Vermilion after traveling for 12 hours due to weather delays. Im not sure if it is my extreme hunger or my love of unique restaurants, but I definitely enjoyed my dinner here. I had the New Frontier Bison Flank Steak and enjoyed every bite. The unique combo of red sauce with beans accompanied by medium rare bison and some small slices of goat cheese were an enjoyable experience. The gentleman behind the bar was a retired Marine and complete professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and I believe that you will too.

A new favorite in Old Town, not too expensive or fussy. Food was good and service was quick and efficient. Great views and seating when weather is nice.

Bad experience. Although they admitted their mistake by not charging us for the burgers they'd forgotten to include in our order. It took 50 minutes for them to arrive at our table. The food was good. Apple cider donuts and the aforementioned burgers.

Vermilion is an excellent date night spot with excellent food and service! My husband and I had dinner here for the first time and were seated upstairs. It was dimly lit for intimacy and charming Edison lights strewn about the ceiling made the dining area feel dreamy. Our server, Evelyn, was exemplary with describing the menu, the restaurant, and with her service - she was so kind! Everything was delicious and plated so beautifully. I was so happy to see they had a mocktail section and enjoyed a 'Persephone's Return', a bubbly drink with pomegranate syrup. My husband got the crispy oysters and I got Bettie's buns to start. The buns were SO soft, and the flaked salt on top contrasted incredibly with the whipped sorghum butter. Our main courses were equally impressive. The goat cheese cappellacci was al dente and delicious - the cheese was bright and "goaty", the squash so cute, and the pomodoro sauce was so good I scraped the plate! My husband loved his short rib and commented how tender it was. We split a strawberry rhubarb buckle; it was not too sweet at all, the lemon verbena was nice and sharp to contrast the sweet oat streusel. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to future dates at Vermilion!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with Vermillion this past weekend and everything was amazing! The service and the food were both top tier! Cant wait to go back.

It's a good venue to see a show, but you need to be aware of how the seating works. 1st, when you get there, they give you a ticket with a number, then near show time, we will start calling the numbers in order over the loud speaker. That's how you enter, but from there, it's still general admission, so once inside, it's a mad rush to your choice of table/seats. It's kind of crazy. While waiting for them to call the numbers, there is a large area with a full bar. Once seated, you can order more drinks, and they have a full menu. We found the food to be ok, kind of tasteless, really. I asked my waitress about the fish and chips, but she said they were a hit or miss and try to steer people away, so I got the chicken tenders. This was our second time here. We enjoy the venue, they seem to get a good line up. Music sounds good. Only real issue is since you are sitting at long tables, you may have to look over your shoulder to see the stage or even have to turn your chair around. Some people also talk quite a bit during the show. We've enjoyed ourselves both times, even with the little annoyances. Staff is friendly and pretty prompt. No glasses of water only purchased bottles.

Went to The Birchmere to see Tweet and we had an amazing time. It is first come first serve seating. Bar in the lobby while you wait. Drinks were on point and food was good! Great customer service! It was my first time there and I will definitely return.

This is a nice concert venue. They regularly have great music perfomers, and you're able to see them in a more intimate setting rather than at a large auditorium or arena. The venue sells food and drinks that you can consume during the show. They also have a gift shop if you're interested in getting a souvenir. I recently saw the Ohio Players perform there, and it was a good show. We were able to park on site for free.

First time here. Old warehouse turned concert-food venue. Drinks up front great, strong and cold. Food good, drinks inside so-so, and the show great.

We've been to The Birchmere a couple of times and enjoyed ourselves every time. This concert right here was one of the absolute best. Maysa was on fire!!!🔥🔥🔥

You need to arrive early to get a line number, which is the order they let you in to get seats. The show started at 7:30pm and there were people already there at 3:30pm getting their numbers (I asked the people at my table what time they arrived since they were the 2nd group to be admitted). You see, 99% of the audience members were old retirees that were able to go early because they don’t work. The age of the audience also resembles the age of the venue itself. This place is a bit dumpy and run down — it desperately needs a renovation. I wouldn’t take anyone younger than 40 here for a date night. If your date is 50+ then they’ll fit right in. The food was overpriced for the quality. The seats in the music hall and the food reminds me of Sizzler’s. The fact that servers come out in the middle of the show, walk in front of the stage while the artist is playing their most popular song, and INTERRUPTS YOU to hand you a bill and take the bill is such an awful design. Have people pay for their dinner right when they ordered it or better yet, modernize and just have a QR code that’s tied to their table number and have them order and pay at the same time. I guess the latter would be too much for the type of audience that attends.

We go there a lot. Their food is really good. One of my favorites is the blackened catfish. I usually get it. My husband got one of their flatbreads. The reason I love going there is the acoustics are great. Plus it's one of the few places that brings our favorite jazz performers

I recently visited this restaurant and enjoyed the cozy and pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was lacking, and the restroom was not as clean as expected, which I hope will improve. We ordered nachos as a starter, which were good and not greasy at all. For the main course, we had two pizzas—one with a thin crust and one with a thick crust. While the thin crust was great, the thick crust was much too dense. Nevertheless, the food was overall quite tasty, and I look forward to returning in the future!

As we ordered our food and received our drinks, I ordered a mule. Sitting on the lime, there was a dead roach! I didn’t notice it at first until I grabbed the lime and moved it around in my drink—only to discover the roach floating in it. I immediately got the waiter’s attention to address this unpleasant disaster and asked for the manager. The waiter informed me that the manager was not in the restaurant. I then requested that they call the manager or at least inform them of the situation. When I asked about their food safety protocols, to my surprise, they had none. No manager on-site, and a roach in my drink—completely unacceptable!

This is my new favorite restuarant. I am very fond of their excellent salads. I also love their spaghetti and meatballs as well as the all meat calzones. Drinks are solid with a good cold satisfying taste. Many folks ate pizza here and it is a good place for the children as well as some well behaved happy dogs. Love Bugsby Pizza Restaurant. Service was great, atmosphere is very nice, pizza was great, however I only have 1 complaint: The soda was extremely sweet and tasted very off. Not too big of a deal but I think the fountain didn’t add enough carbonation in the drink. Other than that the price was a lot cheaper than I expected and my and my girlfriend had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was nice until we got the bill our bill was $111.36 My son got a small deep dish pizza with two toppings. We got a medium deep dish with four topping $12.50 of our bill was for toppings on the pizza. They should give you the standard toppings on a pizza and if anything special or extra that should be more. My daughter got a. Meatball sub and it wasn't that great. My husband and I split a caesar salad The best part about our dinner was our server. He was amazing. He went above and beyond to get us cherries for our Shirley temples we won't ever go back

The food is amazing, and the portions are generous. The service has been good so far, but the place is quite dusty. Maybe it’s part of the vintage aesthetic? Still, it feels a bit uncomfortable to eat in a space that isn’t obviously clean. Overall, though, we had a great experience with delicious food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

The food lacks seasoning. I don't know what I expected. The atmosphere is good. The place is clean and the service is good. They need to season the food. It was so bland. The fish and chips were bad. The potatoes were soggy and the fish batter was not cooked long enough. I like it crunchy. It was not. With vinegar and lemon juice it was edible.

We popped in on a Sunday evening and were delighted to find Happy Hour running until close! Enjoyed $5.50 glasses of wine and $5 pints of a local pilsner. We didn't have any food but the menu and items we saw looked fantastic! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

All of the soups taste like my Irish grandmother used to make, rich and creamy. Shepherd 's pie was fantastic to the eye and better in my mouth.

I have had the chance to dine and drink at this pub on several occasions and each one was great. I would recommend this pub for its food and beer whether it’s for lunch, dinner or happy hour. The food is well prepared, tastes great, and the service is on par. The pub boasts ample seating indoors and outdoors. Parking is easy with the numerous garages nearby. I will definitely be going here again soon.

Very very pretty inside, spacious with lots of pictures of famous Irishmen, golden walls and vintage beer/whiskey bar mirrors. Back area actually feels a bit like a little pub. Staff is super nice and the bathrooms are clean. Corned beef and cabbage was very good along with fish and chips. Cool experience for a mid-upper nova price range.

First time here, it was so great. It wasn't super busy, we went on a Saturday evening. We sat outside, the vibe was great. We sat off to the side of the building, I liked the lights they had. The food was very good, the portions were good for the price I believe. I got a shepards pie, fried calamari, deviled eggs, and their chowder of the day which was salmon with rice. Everything was very good and the waitress was attentive. Will definitely go back.

Cool little spot!! The food and service was good. Not loud at all. Large portions to love. And they support the military! There barbecue sauce is amazing!! I can't wait to go back! But I will say that going closer to the holidays was just perfect because there wasn't a large crowd. You can tell that this place is normally packed from the amount of takeout order that were coming through the door. Wasn't able to try everything on the menu, but loved the fiery Mac and Cheese, burnt ends, and pork ribs were bangers!! The sausage and cornbread were also must haves. Simply didn't have enough room on my trays.

Oh man, this spot is definitely one of the top BBQ restaurants in the DMV. Great food, great side dishes, great customer service and great price. Good for the whole family. I strongly recommend it. And on a side note, the cleanest public restroom I have ever seen.

Multiple sauces at the table means every bite can be a different style! Original (KC), honey chipotle, vinegar stand waiting at the table and you can ask for mustard, Alabama white, and fuego.

Good BBQ place near my hotel in Alexandria. Food was good. Only complaint is the sausage could have been a bit warmer (temperature). Mac and Cheese was my favorite side. Brisket was excellent. I don’t normally think of BBQ in Virginia, but this place was a really good spot for lunch. 30 bucks for this and a soda

Ordered the pulled pork, brisket, sausage, baked bean, mac n cheese, cornbread, and sweet tea. Everything was solid with no complaints on my end. I was honestly surprised that the brisket was good. If youre in the mood for bbq, then i would definitely recommend this place

The mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy! The burnt ends, St. Lois ribs, and the corn bread were flavorful and tender. The sausage link was not my favorite along with the beans but this place was still worth making a stop and trying it out. I was not disappointed and if I ever visited this area again I will definitely be making another stop. The brisket sandwich was a little dry in my opinion but adding a little sauce will do the trick. Overall it was a great eating experience and I would definitely go back.

I don’t make it out to Alexandria too often, but since it was a halfway point between a friend and me, it worked out perfectly. We chose Don Taco—because really, you can’t go wrong with chips, salsa, and drinks for a quick happy hour. The salsa had a great smoky kick, and the empanada I ordered was flavorful and satisfying. My friend’s taco looked solid too. Overall, it made for a great evening! We ended up staying for almost two hours. If the weather’s nice, I highly recommend grabbing a table outside. It’s perfect for people-watching—and the constant stream of dogs passing by only adds to the charm. Service started off strong—the staff was attentive and quick to check in. Toward the end of our visit, it did take a bit longer for someone to swing by, though to be fair, we were deep in conversation and had kept assuring them we were okay.

The presentation was great. Will have to give this place another try. Ordered for pickup and did not go directly home to enjoy. I've heard good things about the Fried Avocado & the Bulgogi. 🤤

1st time @ Don Taco. The trio taco platter was delicious. I sat at the bar. The bartender could use more customer service training. She warmed up when it was time to pay/tip. Smh I recommend others to check out the spot. I would return.

I'm not even really a Mexican food fan, but I really enjoyed my meal. Great happy hour prices. Had a yummy margarita and the guac, which was a little pricey, was a huge portion (to me!). It was boyfriend's birthday dinner and he loved it. He ended up with five tacos!

It's a nice small place with seating upstairs and down. We enjoyed the food, ambiance and decoe of the restaurant with superb service. Drink 🍸 was well made as it was Margarita day, so tried it. Sign on the street helped us pick this place out of many around. Found street paid parking.

My son-in-law and I stopped at Don Taco on King Street for a late-night meal and were completely satisfied with our first experience. We chose Don Taco because of its reputation as one of the best-rated taco bars in Old Town Alexandria, and it truly lived up to the hype. Visiting on a Monday evening turned out perfect—no wait times and plenty of seating. We could have enjoyed the patio or the upstairs dining, but we opted for a cozy booth near the bar so we could catch the Monday night game on the widescreen TVs. The ambience was modern, laid-back, and very comfortable. The service was excellent—our server was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable, even offering great recommendations from the menu. We started with the Bira Empanadas, chicken filled with jalapeño chimichurri sauce, which were delicious and had just the right amount of spice. The $5 taco selection is impressive! We tried the Chili Salmon Taco, Dilly Dilly (beer-battered grouper) Taco, Fried Avacado Taco and Bulgogi tacos—all packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. My son-in-law ordered the Taco Trio with yellow rice and beans, which was a generous portion and more than enough to satisfy. Every dish was outstanding, and the tapas-style portions made it fun to sample and share. We left completely satisfied and are already planning to return with our wives—we know they’ll love Don Taco just as much. Highly recommend Don Taco for anyone looking for a quality taco experience, excellent service, and a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere in Old Town.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Nice kick back spot with plenty of tequila options. The bar tender was very attentive and the tacos tasted good. *Update*.. attended happy hour and really enjoyed the house tequila. The jalapeno margaritas were awesome as well.

Went for summer restaurant week. I appreciated the flexibility of their restaurant week menu and the outdoor seating with view of the river was lovely. The food was good and fresh but was pretty standard American fare. Nothing stood out as spectacular but was tasty overall. There were vegetarian options for all the courses. Service was a bit slow between the 1st and 2nd course. I think there may have been an issue because after a certain point service seemed to pick up for all the tables.

False advertising?! Dining out is never by chance for me. I have studied the menu, read the reviews, and planned out my health conscious meal during the day to be ready to indulge at the restaurant. Sadly, all my research fell short for Hummingbird. Apparently there is a Monday “special menu” that is limited and also has features not available other days. I went tonight with my heart set on the whole grilled fish and hush puppies that I reviewed on the website multiple times. Not available. I still wanted fish, and there was a salmon linguine option. This dish is only offered on Mondays. It was flavorful but heavier than I wanted for the evening. I was clearly upset, however the food was still good, giving the 4 star review. Salmon linguine: 5/5 crispy skin. Lemon cream sauce that was the perfect tang. Spring salad: 5/5 fresh light salad. The spiced pecans were a great bonus. Hummingbird Cake: got this to go! Great and moist. If you do not like banana this is not the dessert for you. The Monday night menu is a great option as there is a 3 course meal for $40! But again, many of the standouts that I heard and wanted to try were not available. I would go back on another night to try those. Apparently there is a happy hour as well. The menu is not posted online, but there is mention of it in the timing, unlike the Monday menu. Nice patio view looking at the water. As the sun went down, there were a few mice as noted in other reviews. I feel like this could be motivated but also you are sitting outside. Idk! Great service.

Hummingbird Bar + Kitchen was our wedding venue for both the ceremony and reception. We booked with them in Feb. 2025 for an October 2025 wedding, and in those ~8 months, we probably emailed back and forth with Kenneth 100 times. He is a 5 star Event & General Manager - so patient with us, answering all our questions, and filling our requests. The setting was perfect, the staff set up and tore down the entire space for our event, and they were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout. Our guests raved about the food, the hummingbird cake, and the setting along the Potomac river. The location was incredibly convenient for us and our guests - many who stayed upstairs in Hotel Indigo or nearby, walking distance, and everyone enjoyed the charm of visiting Old Town, Alexandria. Our wedding was such a special day, and while there are a lot of reasons for that - we are so happy that it happened at Hummingbird. Thank you, Kenneth, to you and your staff for making it happen.

I visited during Restaurant Week and had the three-course menu. The food was decent—good, but nothing that really stood out. Portion sizes were fair. The service, however, left something to be desired. Cocktails took an unusually long time to arrive, and overall attentiveness from the staff was lacking. We chose to sit outside, but unfortunately that experience was overshadowed by a noticeable number of mice running around the patio area, which really ruined the atmosphere. Also worth noting: the restaurant isn’t directly on the water—it’s set back a bit, so don’t expect true waterfront dining.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Hummingbird, and we can’t say enough about how wonderful this venue was! From the very beginning, Kenneth, the event coordinator, was exceptionally responsive and communicative, taking the time to quickly and thoroughly answer all of our questions and ensure he was able to make our wedding vision come to life. For a smaller to mid-sized wedding reception, there is plenty of space in Hummingbird. The floor to ceiling windows give you a beautiful view of the Potomac and the space flows out nicely to an open patio. The food and service were also excellent, with several of our guests particularly noting how good the short ribs and crab cakes were! Planning a wedding can be stressful, and reserving Hummingbird, and working with Kenneth, made the whole process so much more seamless and enjoyable. My parents also worked with Hummingbird and Kenneth to host a goodbye brunch the day after our reception, which turned out perfectly! Our guests loved being able to celebrate with us in such a gorgeous, unique venue, and we’ll always be so appreciative to Hummingbird and Kenneth for helping to provide us with a perfect wedding weekend!

Had our wedding at Hummingbird and couldn't be happier with our decision. Kenneth is a pro's pro and he and his staff are extraordinary. We were able to buy out the restaurant and side patio for over 6 hours and celebrate our ceremony, dinner, reception all under one roof (with the bonus of hosting our guests at the attached Hotel Indigo). Planning a wedding without coordinators was stressful until we started to meet with Kenneth. He and his staff swiftly took care of all the behind the scenes details from menu selection, setup, teardown, food and drink service, and coordinating with our vendors like our DJ with setup and all associated questions / needs they had. We brought our own decor and Kenneth not only decorated the entire venue but made the vision come to life better than we ever expected. Can't forget about the food. Almost every guest at our wedding commented that our dinner was one of the best they've had at a wedding which would have made our decision to book at Hummingbird worth it alone (the amish chicken especially was a hit). The bar service was incredible as well. Kenneth designed 2 killer signature cocktails that not only fit our theme but were possibly more well-received than dinner. We want to thank all the good people at Hummingbird one last time for hosting our family and friends. They made our wedding as special as possible and I can't recommend them enough. We'll be back for dinner regularly!

Thomas and Tonya are awesome! They greeted me as soon as I walked in, with smiles and pleasant vibes! The manager, Ken, recommended this cool drink called CAMPING. Was delicious… like a Smokey, s’mores, old fashioned. Great experience. Next time I’m in old town, I will be back here first!!!

I'm not sure there is enough space to write about SC. The wine was paired perfectly with the hanger steak. Despite being a small portion for the fig and brie app, the flavor made up for it. We came back for a second night and the short rib pasta was tremendous. Light but flavorful. I'm not sure I could complain about any of it. The best combination was the Manager Sophia and somollier/does everything Brian. They were open to their fans and paid the meals perfectly with the wine. Their passion for the food, wine, and the business were truly evident. They went above and beyond.

Great place to hear gossip from 50 year divorcees. Wine flights are bomb and well priced. Food looks good too — we saw the avocado toasts and they looked very good. Nice bar vibe. Staff is great, very friendly and knowledgeable.

We came here for an early dinner and had a great time! They gave some great happy hour deals ($2 off wine by the glass, good small plates). Service was very helpful and friendly. The back patio is a little hidden gem that you wouldn't know existed unless you went into the restaurant. We enjoyed a great wine tasting, along with some wonderful cheese and crostini. We then had shrimp tacos and the chicken pita, both very good. Finally we split the red wine brownie, which was flavorful and soft of the inside. Absolutely recommend coming in for a glass of vino and some plates right in old town.

Great wine selection, great service. We wanted a wine flight, and they were able to create one that was specific to our taste. Also has great outdoor space in the back.

The food and the wine list are fantastic, but the service is almost unbearably bad. The staff makes it seem like they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to dine and drink with them. Our server was a brunette woman who rushed us through our meal (asking what we wanted to order multiple times in a 5-7 minute span). My friends and I ordered a bottle of wine and some food and it was great, but we decided to go to another wine bar for the second bottle because we felt so uncomfortable. Such a bummer because we had really high hopes for SC.

Such a fun little place. Very friendly service, great wine selection and tasty bites. My favorite thing about the place is the wine flights. Definitely don’t ever get rid of your flight option! Sitting out in the courtyard with a flight of wines and their Brie and fig jam crostini is a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

We walked in and realized after arriving that it was Restaurant Week. Still, they weren't crowded inside, but I could see some tables out back. Our server was very friendly and helpful - but he was all alone! He was running the bar, the tables, and going outside. He definitely should have had some help. We had a nice time, and the wine was good, but we had a lot of wait time and left feeling very bad for our overworked server.

La Fromagerie is such a unique place in Alexandria!! If you want to feel like you’re in France you must visit this place. Everything is served so fresh and their sommelier helps you pair wine as well. I enjoy thei appetizers (foie gras is 100% recommended to try), their lamb dish is amazing and they always have seasonal assorted desserts.

A fantastic place to have a date or meet with 1-3 friends. Right on King street so I use it as a way to start the night and he staff is very knowledgeable about wine. I had the 3 piece Charcuterie which was shared between two people.

The Sommelier is very knowledgeable and gives great suggestions based on your personal taste. The charcuterie choices are on point. There is so much to choose from, we really haven't repeated a combination and we have visited multiple times. Also, the small plates are great. The chicken liver pate on brioche was so good and then the leftover pate we ate on their baguette. Needless to say, we will be back and it's a spot we will bring friends visiting to as well.

Great selection of wine and food was yum but the portions sizes were very small considering the price. We had a nice time but I just didn’t think it was great value for money.

A gem in Old Town Alexandria. La Fromagerie is absolutely amazing! The food is superb! No matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. The selection of wines, Fantastic! The service, warm, attentive, and they will give great advice on how to pair the wine to the delicious food. We are very Lucky to have a place like this in our neighborhood.

I stopped in for a quick glass of wine and a bite to eat was not disappointed. I enjoyed the whipped feta and a glass of Txakoli Rosé at the waiter’s suggestion and it was delightful. I will definitely be back when I am in town.

Great little craft brewery in Alexandria. It's a little distance out of the Old Town area but well worth the trip. We stopped through the area while I was in town for a meeting. Really enjoyed the atmosphere there. They had some great craft brews and good eats from a local food truck.

A great selection of beers in a nice clean taproom. You can drink near the production area which is cool. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside!

Port City is one of our favorite breweries in the area. They have a ton of options and are always releasing new beers. You will enjoy them if you particularly like german-style beers! I can't wait until they open a kitchen so there will be food on site too. There is always a ton of parking, they are very dog friendly, and they host so many fun events for the community! Would definitely recommend.

Carne Asada Tinga Tostada was way too spicy to eat. Shrimp tostada was excellent Carne asada fries were good if you’re sharing. They load it up. I got a light citrus hazy and it was good

Great place to have a beer with plenty of seating. The beer was good and there was plenty of options and different things to taste and enjoy. I would say if you are visiting breweries stop by and have a pint it will be worth it. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Came here for dinner when visiting the area. There is a sitting area outside besides inside. There is also seating where you can watch them cook the food. The service was excellent. The waiter was polite and friendly. The drinks were very good. There was a special spicy margarita that was amazing. The food was excellent. All of it was excellent. The pictures are beef tartar and oysters which are appetizers. The 75 day aged ny strip, 60 day aged ribeye, and cream spinach for entrees. The beignets for dessert are the best. Also had a nice sherry for dessert. I would would definitely recommend and will come back if in the area again

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and can’t wait to come back. Great drinks, amazing service and fantastic food. I think the filet was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. He enjoyed the crab cake tremendously, and we both loved the hash brown pave and Brussels sprouts - seriously, get them both! We started with the chicken thigh app and the flavor was out of this world. Erlinda took amazing care of us and was so kind to us on our special day. We will be back!

We came for a weeknight dinner to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday. Although we made reservations, we waited about 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated because the restaurant was full. It was a lovely temperate evening, so the weight wasn’t bad. The inside of the restaurant was very loud. There is not a lot of sound dampening, so I do not recommend this for someone who is easily overstimulated by sound. Our waiter was great. He asked about dietary restrictions and allergies at the start. (I am gluten-free), and answered all of our questions. He was knowledgeable about the featured cocktails of which I had Poetry in an Algorithm, and it was spot on. He brought the birthday girl, a complementary mocktail, which was light and refreshing, not too sweet, and perfectly enjoyable. My daughter had the lamb shank, pictured here. It was poetry on a plate in presentation. Fall off the bone tender. It was a huge entrée, but my daughter ate it with gusto. The manager came by to check on us at one point and we had a lovely chat. She told the manager that the lamb was amazing! My husband had the trout stuffed with crab, and he said it was good, but his taste buds were confused. I had the petite fillet mignon, and I used the table knife to cut it, it was so tender. The sweet potato side and the asparagus side were both interesting and delicious. For appetizers, I had the stuffed mussels, which had a nice little flavorful kick that lingered and built after you had eaten the bite. My husband and daughter shared the mushroom lasagna. It was good and flavorful, but they said it was underwhelming. We finished up the dinner with the raspberry Napoleon. It was the perfect little bit of sweet to top off a very rich and filling dinner.

Attentive wait staff. Great atmosphere and beautiful view of the Potomac River. The food was delicious and the drinks exceeded my expectations. The pork chop with grapes was well seasoned and had a slight kick to it. The lamb shank was excellent. The beignets were a nice end to a great dinner.

Really delicious food and excellent service in a very bright and spacious restaurant. The vegetarian gnocchi were fluffy, light, and very flavorful. The crab cake had a ton of crab and were very filling. The chocolate souffle was worth every calorie. It server was very attentive, gave us tons of useful tips about the food and generally took good care of us. The views of the open sky and the water were a great perk.

My husband and I went Saturday for his birthday. We especially enjoyed the grilled octopus with fingerling potatoes on the appetizers menu. I ordered the crab stuffed Carolina trout while my husband ordered lobster and hanger steak. For desert I ordered the chocolate gateaux and my husband had the caramel beignets. Everything was delicious. Elizabeth, our waitress, was warm and attentive and Carlos, the manager, was engaging. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for lunch today. We just got two orders of the grilled octopus and and order of the cream spinach. I plan on spending my birthday there in March.

Saw this place walking by and noticed people's plates and vowed to go back. They did not disappoint. My father got the Mahi Mahi sandwich. I'm not a fan of fish sandwiches but when I tasted his, I quickly changed my thoughts. I got the smoked swordfish with brussel sprouts and a side of Lobster mac. Everything was so flavorful, perfectly so!! We finished with the apple beignets suggested by our waiter and that was the cherry on top! Amazing food, nice atmosphere and a great staff 10 out 10!

Not the most positive experience. I have a fairly high bar for German food but factoring that, I think this place still misses the mark. Like anything in the King Street area, parking is a challenge. I was fortunate to find parking about a block and a half away, so lucky me. When we went in the sign said wait to be seated but after waiting about 2 minutes in a pretty empty restaurant I found someone to seat us. The ambiance definitely had a Germany feel to it, which was nice; however, the menu was a mix of Mexican and German. My wife and I ordered a platter of mixed sausages (6) and 2 sides. The wursts were great but the red cabbage and German potato salad were nowhere near authentic. The red cabbage had no flavor and the potato salad was missing key flavor ingredients. With 15 years in Germany I know what to expect and think they missed.

This is not the place to go if you are looking for authentic good German cuisine. The pretzel was good but the gravy used on the jager schnitzel was cold and thick, served on the side in a small cup it left the schnitzel hard and dry. Decent selection of beer. Stick with beer and appetizers!!

Not your typical German restaurant. But a unique cuisine! It was filling. And the beer cocktails were fun.

Nice German place in Old Towne. Food was good, drinks were good, service was excellent, the environment was nice. We sat inside in the “garden” area. There was also a bar and roof top!

This place serves high quality food, service is ok and the price is typical of the area. Food came out in a decent time and was good. There is a good amount of space, so it would accommodate large groups. 4 stars because I believe It can better in service and there are other places 5 on my book in this area. I would def recommend this place. It’s kids friendly and very well kept. They are doing a great job. I will comeback to bump their rate up.

Came here with some friends for dinner on a Saturday! It wasn’t too busy. The service staff were great. They have a wide variety of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and bourbon/whiskey. I tried out the 1/2 pound of peel and eat shrimp and the pear salad. Both were delicious. I got a side of remoulade for the shrimp which was fabulous. My friends shared two different kinds of oysters and said it was delicious. Will be back !

Outstanding Oyster House – A Must-Visit! If you're a fan of fresh seafood and top-tier whiskey, this oyster house is an absolute gem. Tara and I attended the Galentine’s Party at Whiskey & Oyster. Reservations were encouraged. Each table had a 2-hour dining limit. Upon entry, we were greeted with goodie bags that contained sunglasses, scrunchy, and chocolate. They had a vendor selling permanent bracelets to benefit a good cause and a photobooth. They had two menu available - Galentine Day Brunch Menu and Regular Menu. Neither of us opted in for their Mimosa and Mocktail Bar. Tara enjoyed her hot coffee, Triple Cherry Manhattan, and Eggs Benedict with Cheesy Grits. I had the $7.95 Wild Blueberry Green Tea (which tasted like a regular iced tea but twice the price) and $19.95 Maine Lobster Omelette with Chef's Potatoes. The omelette didn't have much taste and barely had any lobster in it. The Chef's Potatoes were the highlight on the dish! They were seasoned with salt and pepper and finished with parmesan.

Review: Stopped in for just one drink and ended up having one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Our bartender’s whiskey knowledge was outstanding, and the creativity behind the original drinks he’s crafted was impressive. He was speaking my language and could see me light up as I followed his advice. You could tell he was passionate about his craft, and it elevated the entire experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone who values great drinks and even better service.

I was excited when I made my reservation for dinner. My experience was somewhat less than I expected. The food was good (gave it a 4), but the atmosphere and the service were not what I expected based on previous reviews. The restaurant had kind of an open seating area, which created a bit of a loud environment and felt a bit like a diner. My waitress very friendly, but not attentive and assumed, at one point, that I was done and I hadn't had an entree yet. My meal ended up being an extended experience. The food was good. If you are looking for dinner in a casual, open atmosphere with pretty good food, then I would recommend. Menu consisted mainly of apps, raw menu, sandwiches and a few entrees. All entrees are seafood. Aside from burgers, there is really no red meat on the menu. If you are looking for a nice dinner in a semi-private setting, this is probably not the right place. If you are looking for a semi-casual setting with pretty good seafood, this restaurant will fit the bill.

Lucked out in making reservations in the middle of happy hour! Happy hour runs Monday through Friday 3 to 6 with great specials. Food was delicious! Flaky, tasty fish & unique chips. Oysters & mussels were the perfect celebratory dinner. Our server provided lots of helpful information about the types of oysters. She asked if we were military and then proceeded to thank us for our service and applied a discount. The server’s support team (pooled tips) provided efficient, friendly service. Clearing the table promptly, delivering more bread & explaining which oysters were which on the platter. Also offering beer samples & quick refills. Comfortable seats, nicely spaced in a cool setting with festive decorations and a rolling ceiling rack of booze. Street parking was readily available when we arrived at 5 o’clock on a Friday. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced restaurant for a special occasion or for just dining out, Whiskey & Oyster is your place!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we had the best time ever. The atmosphere was amazing. Our waitress was so lovely and sweet. The food was phenomenal and was up to par with the price. I’m not really a drinker but I still try my bf’s drinks sometimes and this was the first time I ever truly enjoyed his old fashioned. The drink was a bit pricey but once we tasted it, worth every penny. I also loved the dessert they gave us for his birthday. It was so kind of them. For special occasions, I would 1000% go back. I’m so happy I found it. Side note: they do offer validated parking during certain times and days so if you plan on driving, ask ahead of time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oak Steakhouse - Alexandria My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Oak Steakhouse in Old Town Alexandria, and it could not have been a better experience. From start to finish, the service was outstanding and the food was an absolute 10 out of 10. Our server, Mike, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to meet Todd Hunt, the area director for Virginia and D.C., who personally checked on our table and made sure everything was perfect. You don’t see that kind of hands-on hospitality every day, and it really made the evening special. The restaurant is owned by Indigo Hospitality Group, and I honestly can’t say enough great things about the entire experience. Incredible food, exceptional service, and a beautiful atmosphere. If you're in the area and looking for a top-notch steakhouse, Oak needs to be at the top of your list. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant and great atmosphere. It’s definitely a great steak, but if you’re used to the US’s best steakhouses in Houston and Dallas, then you’ll be disappointed. Tasted great, just wish it was seared more. I had the truffle butter with it and couldn’t really taste any truffle. The Brussel sprouts are great, and at my waiters recommendation I got the fries which were AMAZING.

Dropped in for a steak while in town for the night, and wasn't disappointed. I sat in a comfy spot at the corner of the bar and was attended to by Mike, who was simply an ace, on the ball from start to finish. The vintage decor and moody lighting set the perfect tone for a sophisticatedly gritty dinner. Loved the caesar salad and the brussel sprouts, and they're more than generous with their steaks. Sparkling water on tap was exceptional as well. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.

Update: Came back again for desserts and cocktails and very enjoyed the sundae and passionfruit cocktail. Paul is a fantastic professional bartender. Cant wait to be back for dinner someday, oh and oysters are fresh and plump. Popped in for a quick cocktail and dessert and really enjoyed the fine dining ambiance as well as bar service from Keith. We have a lovely time and cannot wait to be back for dinner!

Great date night location. Food was so flavorful and filling. My boyfriend and I went in April and again in June and our server remembered us. He gets the filet mignon and I get scallops. The baked mac and cheese is AMAZING. 10/10

We came here after our wedding ceremony and Shawn treated us like royalty. The food is always incredible, the atmosphere is great. 10/10 will continue to come back.

Cocktails are incredibly unique, but an expertly balanced blend of flavors that you wouldn’t expect to work well together, but they hit the nail on the head! I stopped in traveling through on a slower Wednesday, but can definitely see how reservations would be recommended. Snack/food options are available too and looked delicious. Highly recommend and will be back!!

Some bars serve drinks and some are an experience. Captain Gregory's is definitely an experience. It has a fun speakeasy style entrance (don't want to give it away). Unique island/tropical decor and super stylish accents/glassware/details. We loved the drinks! Our bartender Jag did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable on our 1st visit and made some guided us through the menu. We will definitely return.

Captain Gregory's is a speakeasy with really tasty drinks! Their drink selection is made up of traditional favorites with their own flare. We enjoyed each drink we tasted and the food didn't miss any marks!

Really enjoyed drinks here! Cute spot hidden in plain sight. Cool entry ambiance, good vibes inside. Great and unique cocktails. Only thing is that they seemed incredibly understaffed. The very kind host/waiter seemed incredibly overwhelmed and was virtually the only staff member we saw in the establishment. Note that they were at capacity, and we were early, so they didn’t let us in until at our reservation time and even a bit after.

Reservation at the bar for two at 545pm. Was busy but not overly crowded. Our bartenders Jaguar and Drew were absolutely amazing. They expertly led us through the menu and gave us some wonderful suggestions, all of which were delicious. We shared the deviled eggs and hamburger. The deviled eggs were good, albeit a bit ‘safe’ and could be jazzed up a bit with some togarashi or spicy papaya slaw. The burger was very juicy, we got the aioli on the side, didn’t need it. The burger could have used a crunchy element, but overall it was tasty. We will be returning again soon!

This place was really laid back. Brandon, the mixologist, had a great attitude and kept us engaged at the bar. The place has about 4 two seat tables, 3 three- four seat tables and about 8 bar stools...so reservations are strongly suggested. It's a speak easy, so it has a 'secret' entrance which leads from a busy kitchen to a dimly lit, nicely decorated area. The drinks are GOOD and the food choices were small plates, which was nice.

I came across this place yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere located right off of King Street. I didn’t even know that this place existed. The bartender was so sweet and a pleasure to talk to, the drinks were amazing, and the food was really good. I will definitely be back soon.

Popped in a for a cocktail and some applies. Amazing bartender and cocktails. Excellent hummus and pickles (forgot to take a photo before we ate it). All around a great experience. Will be back.

Haven't been back in over three years. The cocktails are always on point and the staff always accommodating and fun. Bar food was fine. We always go here after dinner most of the time.

Stopped by for an afternoon cocktail and snack. Enjoying the Paper Plane to Brazil (picture) and the hummus and fried pickles. Hummus was excellent!

Not pretentious, the food is fresh and unexpected. I enjoyed every morsel. A good variety of craft beers too!

I ordered the Red Bowl and the flavors were awesome! My family ordered flavorful burgers and steak sandwiches, and they were fantastic too! All the food had a very cohesive taste and I can tell they used fresh ingredients. The vibe was just right, away from the busy bustle along King Street. a bit like the flavors too. The prices of the drinks are very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend it to my friends!

Nice cozy neighborhood feel. Daily specials and Happy Hour offerings. Moonshine cocktails are good and strong. Great selection of sandwiches- we loved the steak sandwich and the Beyond Burger. Recommend the fries and tots as sides too.

Absolutely top notch. The lack of obvious curb appeal hides a great gem of a restaurant and bar with spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and professional staff. Delicious menu items. Nice selection of beer and liquor. Also a good waiting location if you have DCA business.

Service was amazing! Not a huge space, although I didn't go in the back so not sure what the outdoor space looks like. Huge beer and alcohol selection, which is nice. Also a pretty decent size food menu as well. Hot dog was delicious, and my loaded tots were good too. I'm not always a fan of beer cheese, but it was yummy. Would definitely go back and try a grilled cheese.

Unassuming storefront that hides a great beer garden. Perfect place to hang out with your family and friends. For its above average for this type of place.

Never overwhelming. Never underwhelming. Just whelming. Descriptions on menu don't line up with the listed beer. Had to go in a hunt down the beer I ordered, but rest of parties drinks came out no problem. The outside area out back is lovely if the wind isn't blowing from the direction of the dumpsters.

My team and I went to Hops N Shine recently for a Happy Hour. We sat in the back of the venue. They have cornhole and a couple of other games outside. Their staff did a great job recommending beer and food to my group. I tried this Strawberry Cider. I lie to not it was the best Cider I’ve ever had. Aside from the beer options, they have a very diverse grilled cheese menu that paired well with the beer & ciders. My group staffed there for about 2.5 hours. My group tried the pretzel and the tatters with beer cheese. The beer cheese was fantastic. I wish I had pictures but it was finish so fast. I highly recommend this spot.

The new manager of this establishment came up to our table while playing trivia on a Thursday night and accused someone at our table of “elbowing” one of their bartenders on purpose and were asked to leave, what was not mentioned was the gentleman who “elbowed” the bartender (which by any means is not what happened) was helping his wife who is recovering from a life threatening surgery into the restaurant, and if the bartender is unable to clearly see and get out of the way of someone with a physical accommodation they should be working elsewhere. We have been attending Hops and Shine every Thursday for almost 2 years and we will not be back after this event. It is very sad to see that a place that we visited every week and enjoyed, has such disrespectful staff.

Excellent and lively multistory bar, just off the strip, with old school charm, imaginative flavor blends and warm and delightful owners. Be sure to say Hi! to their stately labradoodle Arthur. :-)

This review is strictly for the upstairs bar. I generally go to this bar and stay on the 1st floor with Jack and Anna. I have never had one issue down there, nor have I returned any drinks before (I had no reason to, they were always good). I have been going to Old Hat and staying on the 1st floor roughly 2 - 3 times per month for about 1.5 years, maybe 2. However, on the night of June 21st, I went there with a group (counting myself) of 5. Due to spacing downstairs, we decided to go upstairs and have a round, as we were hopping around oldtown. We ordered our drinks and only one of us wanted to return it after a few sips. The owner/manager who runs the upstairs bar said he couldn't take it off the bill (mind you the person in our group only had a few sips - enough to determine if she liked the drink), but he offered to modify the drink to her liking. Which I initially thought was odd, as most places would within reason, allow someone to exchange a drink for a different one if said person doesn't like it. We did not put up a fuss, when the owner/manager brought the drink back, in fairness the person in our party said it tasted better, but we still couldn't get past the fact she couldn't get something different out of our head. If you do go here, stick to the 1st floor with Jack and company. Unfortunately, I personally have a sour taste in my mouth on the bar after my recent experience. When I do go to King Street in the future, I am going to be hesitant to come here, and will likely just go to another bar on the strip.

Wow wow wow! This is the best bar in Old Town! All the food and drinks we ordered were so incredibly delicious! The staff so warm and welcoming and funny! Highly recommend this place! And highly recommend getting there early as it fills up very quickly!

Fantastic cocktail bar in Alexandria. It's instantly one of my favorite new bars here. Jack, the bartender and proprietor, is really nice and made us several off the menu cocktails which we loved. The homemade kimchi hotdog was unreal and the loaded fries were fantastic. You have to go here. Not only are the drinks and food top notch, the atmosphere is intimate and warm. Highly recommend for everyone.

What a very cool place to hang out. The drinks are kinda pricey but delicious. It is a great vibe and fun place to get drinks with friends. The bartender made me a custom drink that I requested taste very chocolatey and he succeeded. We will definitely be back and catch the live music.

I was greeted as I entered by Jack, great outfit by the way, matched the theme of the restaurant and made me feel like I entered a whole new realm. Cocktails fantastic of course, excellent energy from Jack, Tim, and customers alike. I cannot believe it took me so long to finally visit this bar as I had already heard so many wonderful things about it. I’m excited to try their food and each and every cocktail on the menu. Lovely service, decor, and it is surely an experience you’ll never forget.

Wow. Probably the best cocktail bar I’ve ever been to. We got the pupusa and 4 drinks and they were all spot on. Great salsa and slaw with pupusa. Drinks were strong but delicious. The staff were out of this world. lisa, Lee, Jack were all fantastic. Made great drinks and when a young woman asked for a mojito and they didn’t have mint, the owner, Jack went out of his way to talk to her and identify what she liked about a mojito so he could make her something similar . I’ve never seen service like that. Keep it up!
