Novotel Leuven Centrum is a contemporary property offering understated rooms, a stylish restaurant, and a cozy bar. The hotel provides room service, a fitness center, and child care services. It's conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the historical city center of Leuven. Guests can enjoy local dishes and Belgian beers in the Gourmet Bar on-site.
I have been a devoted customer of Novotel Leuven since 2005. It is the best hotel in town ( i tried them all ). The true shining stars of the show are the long time employees, at the top Domenico, best ever bar tender, restaurant host and on demand chef. Always ready to entice you with his food recommendations and home styled preparations, as you ask them, as you like them. For service and customary i can pay but all that i received from Domenico and his staff through the years is priceless, for heavy travellers like me that are looking for a little piece of home when on the road. Countless my colleagues and co workers thinking the same. Never change a winning team!

Very well located Hotel in Leuven. We could walk to the main tourist attractions in the city from the Hotel. The staff was very friendly and the bar was also very good.
Carlos C — Google review
We stayed on a room only basis and it was fine. Only complaint is we were 3 to a room but they only left glasses , cups & tea bags/ coffee for 2 so we had to take a mug ( and tea bags) from the tea station downstairs . Otherwise no complaints room was spacious and cleaned daily
Liz G — Google review
Great atmosphere, nice hotel. Breakfast is ok. But food and drinks from Domenico are the best! Very nice people. Feels like family 😉
Mark-jan H — Google review
Although the hotel shows some external signs of weariness this is compensated by the care of the rooms and the accommodation. The breakfast is well taken care of and overall this is a very nice hotel in terms of value for money.
Geert L — Google review
Location is good but rooms need to be updated. Breakfasts are below standard. Prices too high in comparison to quality.
Roc K — Google review
We were helped by Gertjan at the front desk for our large group of 27 rooms . The Check in process was quick and seamlessly done . All our requests were met, including asking of early check in for the elderly , adding the drinks plan to the dinner menu , providing us with an ironing board last minute ! The hotel is walking distance to lots of local restaurants, the carre four store and the bus station . The location is central and despite that it is very quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family stay or a large group like ours .

We had dinner there which was very nice. They lay on a great breakfast, I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

Ibis Budget Leuven Centrum is a straightforward budget hotel with streamlined rooms and complimentary Wi-Fi. Situated in the city center near the train station, it offers easy access to restaurants, historical buildings, and shopping options. The hotel is conveniently reachable by public transport and car, with Brussels Airport just 12 minutes away by train. The property features parking, pet-friendly rooms, bicycle rental, multilingual staff, and air-conditioning.
Really clean, just the essentials you need for the budget hotel - comfy bed, cleanness, quiet, and close to the center. I asked for a higher floor as I wanted to be quiet. Good view. I feel like slightly understaffed but didn't have any problem or over waiting at the reception. Check-in and out is super fast, just dropping the key card and good to go.
Ji-young M — Google review
Rooms are spotless house keeping are doing a great job. Tall gentleman on reception really looked after me, he provided great customer service. Don't understand why anyone would write a negative review. Couldn't gwt any closer to the train station. Very comfortable bed with private separate toilet and shower room again very clean - great stay thank you
Sarah-jane B — Google review
For what it is, it should be less expensive. All the hotels around were booked because of the strike in Belgium so I went with it. It is so small. If the price was cut in half it would be acceptable I guess, as a last resort to sleep before taking the train. The room lacks functionality. At this price point, Ibis could innovate a little. Japan just does better these type of small room hotel. Ibis should take some notes.
Karim G — Google review
Good value for money, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are no smaller than you'd expect at a budget hotel and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet in the rooms despite being so close to the train station.
A P — Google review
Was attending a conference. Hotel is extremely close to the train station, friendly staff and clean. Very affordable. I ordered the breakfast and would recommend adding a granola to the cereal offerings. All the cereals on offer were very sweet.
Jyothi T — Google review
The room was quite small and lacked functionality, making it difficult to move around comfortably. Most of the staff were not very friendly and failed to provide clear explanations about the hotel’s amenities or procedures. The entrance area was unwelcoming and poorly maintained. Additionally, one of the coffee machines was frequently out of order. The breakfast area was too cramped for the number of guests, and the breakfast itself was basic and not particularly tasty. Overall, my experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations.
Filipa D — Google review
Had a good stay. Nice big TV in the room, tea and coffee supplied in the downstairs breakfast room, along with a vending machine for water, snacks etc. very clean.
Carol R — Google review
Affordable, very basic hotel. I used it pre-flight out of Belgium. It's location for this is perfect, with a 3-minute walk to the trains, which run often to the airport. Louven is rather non-descript, though (Germans having burned most of it down in 1914, so very little historical remains).

Begijnhof Hotel is a laid-back accommodation option located within 200 meters from the 13th-century Grand Beguinage in Leuven. The hotel offers free WiFi, a self-service bar with a terrace, and a secluded garden with a sauna. Guests can enjoy views of the hotel garden, Dijle River, parking area or the city from their rooms.
Great hotel. Rooms appear to be esthetically designed for function and ambiance! Maintaining the history of the place as a convent/monastery, the modernization seems like a success, with many antique-like wooden sculptures and paintings. Without a full-blown kitchen on the premises, breakfast was minimal, but good quality, especially the toasted Belgian waffles, as they were light, airy inside but crunchy outside! Service was cordial and courteous as well. I would definitely stay here on my next trip!
Kwak F — Google review
Beautiful hotel, nice and quiet. A little far from coffee shops, the train station and the town center, but only a 20 minute walk or so. I had a lovely stay there.
Nils T — Google review
Very professional desk l team and efficient management. Perfect breakfast. Greay cleaning service. Bicycle condition is perfect. Thank you, everyone, for my 3 weeks of problems free stay. I am looking forward to my next long time stay.
Vladimir B — Google review
A smaller hotel with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly and service minded staff. The room was of the smaller size. In my case the price was a bit too high, but I booked late.
Marcus B — Google review
Before booking our stay to this hotel i checked all the reviews and i was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel did have refurbismend. Our room was modern and minimal. Only thing lacking was the absence of a wardrobe, there was only a hanger. There is no phone in the room but a tablet from which you can messege or call the reception. The first few days it wasn’t working and it was a huge inconvenience but then they fixed it. We had some other minor issues which wear the hotel’s fault and they admitted it and they said that they would do “something” at the check out. I assumed i would’ve been a small discount for the discomfort. But nothing was done nor i asked to be honest because it wasnt the same person on the receiption on the day of the check out. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable for us. We asked for a baby crib and they provided which was fine. The garden is beautiful. The location is tranquil, peaceful. We ubered to the city-center but you could walk for 20-30 minutes to arrive. They only serve breakfast which we included when we booked through their website and it was good, however the varietion and consistency wasn’t okay. For example, there were days they wouldn’t provide white bread, only brown, and there were days were the juice options were multiple and days were there weren’t. For the price of €22 per person for breakfast, i thought that it was way overpriced. In general, the prices reflect the good state of cleanliness and modern interior but the service is not the best i ever had and for the pricepoint definitelty expensive for what they offer. But of course, from country to country there is a difference to what is expensive and cheap but for my standards, they can do better or lowert the prices a bit.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Benginhof! It stood out from all the other hotels we stayed at during our two-week trip driving around the Netherlands and Belgium. One detail that really impressed me was having my name written on the reserved parking spot—such a personal touch! The staff went above and beyond by offering me the quietest room, noticing that I must have been tired from traveling. Beyond that, the location was fantastic—great for both relaxing and sightseeing. We were able to easily walk to the best restaurants and nearby attractions, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a unique and caring experience!

Great location, just off the Tiensestraat and near lots of restaurants and cafes. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the room very comfortable. We would be happy to stay here again on our next trip to Leuven.

First time here. Nice little hotel in a nice little town. Convenient location close to all the shops and restaurants. Super friendly staff. Tony at the lobby bar is a welcoming and warm individual. Definitely coming back for more of this place.

Five Stars. Hands down a great place to stay. I stayed in a suite, no complaints. Best sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The bed was perfect for me, down comforter kept me toasty. The breakfast is amazing. Take it as an option when booking, you could not ask for a better presentation of quality choices. The friendly, courteous staff were more than accommodating. What a nice group of professionals. I seldom write reviews. This Hotel worked out perfectly for my trip. I highly recommend it. Book your stay here, you will happy you did.
Kenneth H — Google review
Really nice 4 star hotel with a fun interior lobby, 24/7 bar, pool table, and breakfast/sitting area. The interior makes you feel like you’re at home but surrounded by music and fun decor. I love that the hotel is green centric and they have self service water stations, on demand only house keeping, and cute newspaper explaining the recycling process. Rooms are a good size and are stocked with all the necessary items. The bed is really comfortable and we enjoyed the courtyard view. Would recommend and would stay again.
Anya M — Google review
The room was dated but service was excellent. Breakfast has a good variety. We love the location and it is very sell connected with public transportation. Karen at the reception was really accommodating and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Sum C — Google review
We had a great experience staying here. Very nice and modern rooms with comfortable beds. Good service for everything we needed. We really enjoyed the bar in the lobby. This was a great location for easy walking access to everything in Leuven, especially the old market. The parking garage was easily accessible even with the normal entrance being closed. Parking spaces are small if you're used to parking in the US, but I think the size is typical compared to any other parking garage I've seen in Europe and easily manageable.
Michelle B — Google review
We had a wonderful experience in Leuven. Everything was so close to the hotel. The staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was big with a nice view to the streets and the beds were really nice. Just outside the hotel you can find plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops. The KU Leuven university is also very near.

Park Inn by Radisson Leuven is a sleek and modern hotel located in the Blauwput district, just a short walk from the center of Leuven. The hotel offers bright rooms, a gym, terrace, and a trendy restaurant. It's also close to attractions like Historical Leuven Town City Hall and M-Museum Leuven. With its 3-star rating, this hotel provides amenities such as a fitness center, bar, laundry services, and city views.
The workers are always so polite and good to me here. I really enjoy talking to them, even if it's as short a time as it is. Great place to rest!
Legend D — Google review
No hotel parking and the public parking was very hard to find. Called hotel while circling around with noone picking up thr phone. Checked in and room was very dirty with urin stains on the toilet and hair everywhere. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Got another room and a free drink but also unacceptable room quality. A lot of discussion and half an hour later with no real help from the reception, I got told I can cancel but the first night would still be charged even though no service was provided. Booked different hotel and left. Would've been extremely upset if I had paid on my terms but company handled the rest of the interaction with the hotel. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and no recommendation. Stay away from the hotel. Staff was reasonably friendly yet very unattentive and didnt really seem to care.
Samuel ( — Google review
Nice hotel right beside the train station. Rooms are comfortable but not fancy as you’d expect in a Park Inn by Radisson. Staff were friendly and breakfast is very nice. Two things irked me - I enquired about late checkout and was quoted €35 for an extra 2 hours in my room which seems excessive and the hotel bar closed at 11:30 on a Saturday night which was disappointing
Odhran A — Google review
1st time here, service was great thanks. I would of given 5 stars for the room but the cleanliness wasn't the best as there was hair on the sink and bathroom walls which was not mine. Good location as near the town. We had 2 three course meals there which was very nice and the breakfast was very good.
Rachel L — Google review
Facility a bit old even thought I was told to have given the best room in the hotel. Bathroom is breaking down definitely. Breakfast was average. Location is no doubt great. Easy parking, right next to the station.
Flying Q — Google review
Very quiet and cozy hotel rooms in an excellent location. Good sound isolation and safe environment. Definitelly recommended!
Angela L — Google review
I was staying at the hotel 19-21 June 2024. The service personal was just awesome: super friendly, competent, available. This counts for all the staff: reception, breakfast team, cleaning. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was tasty and had lots of different options. I had a great stay. Thank you!
K R — Google review
Location is perfect. Rooms are normal. I expected better room conditions actually. It was very clean though. But what surprised me is the parking price. Hotel doesn’t have a parking lot; you use the train station’s parking place so close the hotel. We stayed one night and paid €40 for parking ticket. Ifound it extremely high.

The IBIS Leuven Centrum is a casual budget hotel located in the heart of Leuven, within walking distance from the train station and the town's business district. The rooms are cozy and equipped with flat-screen TVs, SweetBeds, and modern bathrooms with showers. Despite being on the smaller side, they offer comfort for a short stay. The hotel's 24-hour bar provides convenience for guests looking to unwind after exploring the historical city center with its nearby restaurants and bars.
great location. is in the city center but protected from the big tourists group that can make lot of noise. breakfast was delicious, we had a lot to choose, and the personal helpfull the reception recived us with a warm welcome, and from the cleaning point of view, also 5/5. the weather was not that nice so we spent the day in the hotel, which was not bad at all. definetlly we will come back.
Victor V — Google review
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The front office staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile. The only little hiccup was the mattresses—they have a tendency to shift during the night, which can be a bit annoying. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and we’ll definitely be back!
Trevor G — Google review
stayed at the Ibis Leuven Centrum and have mixed feelings about the experience. My room was very small, but it had everything I needed for a short stay, but a medium comfortable bed and a very small bathroom. That said, I did notice the space under the bed hadn’t been cleaned, which felt a bit careless. The fan blew all kinds of dust from under there. There were also no amenities in the room, not even basic tea or coffee, so you really have to bring your own. Parking was convenient, though, at €17 per night. I appreciated that I could leave my car there until 16:00 without any issues. The location, however, was the real highlight, it’s absolutely central, so you can step out and be right in the middle of Leuven’s charm. The lobby was small but nicely decorated, giving a warm first impression. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff member who helped me was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, check-out left a different impression. The staff member at the desk interrupted me mid-question, telling me I had to put my key in the box. It felt a little rushed and impersonal. Another annoyance was housekeeping knocking on my door at 9:00 in the morning, well before the 12:00 checkout time, and while I clearly hadn’t left. It gave me the sense that there’s little communication between reception and housekeeping. In the end, I’d say Ibis Leuven Centrum is all about location, you can’t beat it for exploring the city on foot. The hotel does the basics, but there are small details in service and cleanliness that could be improved to make the stay more pleasant.
Ruben K — Google review
I visited this hotel for a business trip, and I am really satisfied with the location and the service. Kaat was wonderful at the reception, really helpful and professional. Breakfast was also nice, and the room was clean. The rooms are a bit small, but it had all necessary amenities. Overall, a good experience!
Zoe G — Google review
Staying at ibis Leuven Centrum was an absolute pleasure. Situated just steps from Oude Markt, Leuven Town Hall, and countless cafés and restaurants, its prime location makes exploring the city effortless. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, and my room was clean, modern, and comfortably equipped—ideal for both solo travelers and couples. The hotel offers a reliable continental breakfast, and there’s a cozy bar where you can unwind with a local beer after a day of sightseeing. While rooms are on the compact side, that’s to be expected at this price point—and the convenience, excellent service, and overall comfort more than make up for it. For a great value stay right in the heart of Leuven, ibis Leuven Centrum is a standout choice.
Joseph W — Google review
Good basic hotel, small room, perfectly adequate if you are sharing with close friend/family, and out and about most if the time.

Hotel The Lodge Heverlee is a charming retreat located in a renovated farmhouse surrounded by picturesque lakes and green spaces in Leuven's southwestern suburbs. The hotel offers modern accommodations that seamlessly blend contemporary design with historic details. Guests can enjoy exploring the nearby Arenberg Castle, now part of the university, or take a leisurely stroll through the Heverleebos urban forest with its cycling and walking trails.
Nice place. Restaurant is better then room. Room could have more soul, as for example Restaurant. Smell in my room was also strange, not stinky but not nice. All was clean so for one night totally enough. Dinner was very tasty, for the breakfast all products was fresh and good quality. Recommended
Krzyu P — Google review
The room was clean and spacious. A 40-minute walk from the city center. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner, especially tasty and fresh. The only downside was that the fan ran all night long and you couldn't turn off a single light without removing your card (if you remove the card, you don't turn on your phone, for example). Because the room was located in an open space (anyone from the street could walk up to it), Lack of feeling of safety at night
Alicja D — Google review
The room was so big! Definitely comfortable. I would put some forniture, but the place is nice. Didn’t enjoy much the open bathroom. I would still prefer a door. Love the internal courtyard.
Elisa F — Google review
I had a pleasant stay at the Lodge for one week. Very clean rooms (presumably in a converted stable), friendly and helpful on-site staff, nice breakfast spread. Would come again, in very close proximity to the KU Leuven campus.
Thomas B — Google review
This hotel is different. Most rooms have an AC that also heats the room. That also makes quite some noise, especially at night. Sounds like a car parked in front of your window that kept the engine running. You cannot turn off the AC completely, it will switch itself back on. Maybe for frost protection. There are rooms , e.g. no. 5 in the ground floor which can only be accessed through the courtyard. They just have a door, no window. But these rooms have a normal heating. The room no. 3 has it all, window, heating and it is away from the road. Pretty small but good for sleeping :-) The bathroom ceiling would need some touch-up though. Breakfast is good, staff is very friendly and tries to help. I find a price of around 120€ per night is a little too much.
USA P — Google review
Very nice hotel in a nice neighbourhood. We stayed in the suite which was nice and roomy. The bathroom was nice although a full shower would have been nice. Arriving is a little difficult since the access road is narrow and lots of people are about on foot visiting the hotel's brasserie on a warm day. Parking is a little sparse but free. On premise parking in a small underground parking lot is available for a fee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a little under the level of the rooms. Not overwhelmed by this. General impression was very good. Would probably stay again.
Kristof E — Google review
Before I speak about the negatives, I want to say the staff in the hotel were very helpful and kind, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The garden was beautiful and the exterior decor was also great. The included breakfast had great variety for veg and non veg and was delicious. The room we were given was room number 4. Ever since we entered the room, the stay started becoming more and more disappointing. Firstly, the smell. There were no room fresheners and we could not see any diffusers either so it was clear no effort was made to try and make the room smell nice. The room also had very little natural light which made it quite damp. Secondly, the toilet door was not locking. There was no electric kettle or any means to make a quick cup of coffee or tea. Coming to the furniture, the couch looked and felt old and dusty, so much so that we were not very keen to even sit on it. It had stains and looked like something that was picked up from the street, not to mention, it was also smelling bad and mouldy. The table in the room was full of scratches and really did not do anything more than make the room look worse. On looking behind, i also found a web full of spiders. All these experiences combined made it a pretty horrible experience for us. I would not mind all this if the price was lower but spending 136€ a night, I did not expect this. I also want to add that this was my experience in room 4 and I am not aware of they keep all the rooms in this condition or if they have better rooms

It's an OK place, but the pictures look better than reality. The staff is very focused at the restaurant and less so at the hotel, including its guests. Reception is through a piece of paper and your key, everything else you need to figure out yourself. The rooms are huge, but a little bit of interior design could do magic. Bathroom was large and clean. Parking? Figure it out. Check out? Wait in line. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. Location of the hotel is very nice, just outside Leuven, next to the castle.

Martin's Klooster Hotel, a former monastery turned into a modern and stylish accommodation, offers chic bar and garden facilities along with contemporary rooms and suites. Situated just a short walk from the Old Market and Kruidtuin botanical garden, this historic hotel provides a peaceful retreat in a quiet location. The hotel features an orangery garden, time-worn brick walls, and gleaming plate-glass doorways that add to its charm.
Very nice hotel and outstanding staff friendliness and hospitality. Felt very welcome unlike a lot of other hotels I have been in so far. Everything was very clean. Bathroom was very luxurious. (I got a free room upgrade without even asking because they had availability) Rooms had a view on the kloster and also had pictures with religious figures (maria) which also pointed to the bed ... that I didnt like that much but very good bed and high quality interior! Breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious. Place to have breakfast is also top notch. The eye for details and the sense of hospitality impressed me!

We came to the Martin's Klooster to celebrate my wife's birthday. A lovely place that deserves top ratings. We had a bottle of wine but no cork screw. The front desk directed me to the bar. The smiling lady not only open our bottle but put it in a wine bucket with ice and added two glasses so we could take it to our room! Her thoughtfulness was a wonderful gift that added a glow to our evening. Thank you.

Stayed in Martins Kloosters for 4 days whilst visiting the local university for a conference.everything from the initial email exchanges to the breakfast to go on the last day due to an early departure was handled excellently by the staff. The location of the hotel, the rooms, the bar at night, the lovely breakfast all made for a most enjoyable stay in Leuven. The city itself was a great surprise too! The hotel is a great example of how you can retain a historic feel and blend in modern accommodation. Rooms are well appointed and plenty space. The bathroom was lovely and a quality feel to all aspects of the accommodation In Summary not much to complain about to be honest. Maybe it could feature a spa but that would involve a large investment. It would be a good feature to come back to after walking around the beautiful city. Excellent hotel and highly recommended!

Great city centre location, lovely rooms. The car park in on a one way street (underground) before you get to the hotel, you turn in, use the intercom and they open the barrier. You can then park and take the lift to reception to check in. Bikes can also be stored. Lovely building. You will need to pay your city tax on departure.

We stayed at Martin’s Klooster Hotel for a family wedding and had a great experience. The hotel is well located—just minutes from the Leuven train station and close to everything in town. We upgraded to a larger room to accommodate three family members, and it was perfect. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and even had a lovely view. Having a Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Leuven! ---

Great location and nice rooms. However, the overall service fell short our rooms were not assigned correctly, housekeeping standards were below expectations, and the breakfast was very disappointing. Not what you would expect from a 4★ hotel.

Unique hotel given the history. No restaurant on site only breakfast buffet available. Internet is ok for browsing had problems for team calls. Some rooms only have tubs no shower not convenient for some of us.

Stayed here during our stay in Leuven. It is a very classy place. The rooms are massive and very clean and comfortable. I would certainly recommend this place. The parking was €30, which is ridiculous. We had to park about 800m away from the hotel, at St Jacob's. The breakfast was really good, a great variety and options to choose from.

Tafelrond - The Fourth is an upscale hotel housed in a grand medieval building that has a rich history dating back to the 15th century. Originally a guild house, it has also served as a theater and a bank before being transformed into the elegant hotel it is today. The hotel offers 42 stylish rooms with comfortable beds and Belgian linens, along with a cozy bar featuring an open fireplace.
Had an excellent stay at this hotel. Gorgeous and very central location -- wonderful to walk directly out to Grote Markt which is lovely to see at different times of day. Breakfast was very nice (did not eat any other meals at the restaurant). Nicely appointed small lobby/bar area. The room itself was satisfactory, nothing particularly special.

This hotel is in a magnificent historic building which gives great charm and could make it top notch place to stay. I used to come here often few years ago when it opened and really enjoyed it. This time I have been very disappointed. Rooms despite confortable bed are not well maintained. The curtains were off their hooks when I checked in and the handle of the door is falling each time I open the door. I have been here for 3 nights already and notified the issue from the beginning and still it is not fixed. Furthermore the housekeeping is very light basically they just make the bed and change the towels, coffee machine I have to clean myself, and the wine cooler that I used the first night is still hanging in the room…. Really could be better and does not match the standing of such hotel.
Anne-Sophie M — Google review
Really really disappointed with this hotel. Way too expensive for what they are offering. Really slow service at the reception, often no people there. Stayed 3 nights and the bed linen was not changed at all! Not even once…When I checked out I was told the invoice would be sent by mail shortly…Took more than 2 weeks after sending them several mails…was told, they are now part of a new chain and not enough people to handle requests… So, based on my experience, I propose you to choose another hotel to stay if you are in Leuven.

Most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in for a long time. Beautiful building and perfect location. The layout of the bathroom is a little bit odd. The water of the shower spills out. Some of the light controls seem not to work.
David S — Google review
Visited the restaurant for a business dinner. The experience started out bad and the turned into terrible. The 1st symptom that should have worried us was that they ran out of water!!! Yes, no bottled water. The service was very, very slow. The food was made to look very fancy but the taste was extremely poor. But the biggest surprise came at the end, when they tried to cheat us with the bill. We received a bill for more than we had consumed. The difference was almost double!!!! Avoid the place at all costs.
Wlochowianin 2 — Google review
It took me a while to write this review, but we had the worst Valentine’s dinner ever. Service was slow, wines were not brought together with food.. fish was not well cooked but they didn’t want to change it because I had already eaten the veggies (while I was waiting for the waitress). We mentioned, while reserving, that I was lactose intolerant and they forgot, meaning that I got a kiwi and some sorbet as dessert. At the end of the dinner, the manager was not even apologetic and I had to ask for free drinks myself as a minimum compensation… really terrible
Maria M — Google review
Had a diner here, we were 4 and chose 2 times the suggestion menu and 2 times a la carte. Good was very tasty and looked great, wines were excellent, setting is superb, tables far from each other and good acoustics. Price is quite high and even though the coffee and water was supposed to be included in the menu, it still appeared on the bill (and after double checking we payed 5+3 euro per person extra for it), so deducted a shameful point.

The hotel is located in the city centre of Leuven in a wonderful and historical building. The rooms are clean and renovated. I was searching for a shampoo in room, but there wasn't any possibility to have it and it is not justified in an hotel of such category

If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient stay, the ibis Leuven Heverlee is an excellent choice. This modern hotel features spacious rooms equipped with flat-screen TVs, ensuring a relaxing atmosphere for both leisure and business travelers. With complimentary parking and Wi-Fi, it’s perfect for those on the go. The location is ideal, just off the A3 E40 highway, making it easily accessible by car while still providing a peaceful environment away from the hustle of city life.
We stayed at ibis Leuven Heverlee from 27 December 2024 to 1 January 2025 and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome. Its convenient location is not very good. However, it has access to major highways. This makes it easy to explore the area, if you have car. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free stay, and we would recommend it for travelers looking for a reliable place to stay.

We selected the place due to its proximity to the motorway. The architecture looks a little futuristic from the outside. Inside its fine. The breakfast was good, it's price (15 Euro) however too high for what was offered.
Ludwig F — Google review
Staff very helpful and friendly * Bathroom: they can do much much better on the towels, seemed to be at the end off their life span. Shower and taps need a deep clean especially behind the shower glass. Overall the room was what it as. * television needs serious update! Old computer monitor with very limited channels. * plugs / sockets - need to seriously have a look at this, only one socket at the far end of the room.
Pierré O — Google review
We booked the hotel for the practical location (we had a party nearby) and didn't have high expectations. We've never been to an Ibis hotel before. But we were very pleasantly suprised! The check in went very smooth and simple, the receptionist was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and had good pillows. Breakfast was also very good, lots of choices. We will definitely consider staying at Ibis for future occasions.

The Theater Hotel Leuven Centrum is a laid-back accommodation option with simple quarters featuring flat-screen TVs and en-suite bathrooms. Situated near the Old Market in Leuven, Belgium, it offers easy access to attractions such as Pope College Student Housing Center and Saint Peter's Church. The hotel provides high-speed internet access, a luggage room, safe deposit box, and parking facilities.
I had a wonderful experience at the Theater Hotel in Leuven. I was in Leuven to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the founding of my university. Firstly, the hotel is in a perfect location with great views of the Theater and the Bondgenotenlaan. Secondly, the service was impeccable. The staff went out of their way to assist me when my baggage was lost at the airport. There is a wonderful cheerful lady at the front desk who I saw each morning. I forgot her name but she was just wonderful. The breakfast each morning was superb. The only suggestion I have is that the rooms need an update, i.e., new carpet, new furniture, and a general refresh. I hope to come back soon. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The good : great location, very friendly staff, and a nice breakfast. The bad: The hotel and rooms (bedroom and bathroom) feel old & dated (a fancy big picture on the wall does not make it modern...), dark hallways,... I understand in some double rooms, 2 single beds are put together to act as a double, no big deal, but at least make sure they are fixed to one another, or have locked wheels so you don't disappear in the gap between them... The owner states in the reply to this it was a twin room, but there's no way to know that when booking via their site, nor were we notified of this after booking. Room was quite noisy, you hear the poo of the guests that sleep in the room above fly by when they flush as the pipes seem to run through your room... And quite a bit of noise from the street (Bondgenotenlaan). Yes, I know this is not a hotel in the countryside, but I've stayed in other hotels in busy cities, without issue. The ventilation openings in the window are probably part of the reason, pretty much sounds like the windows are open at all times. The 'special' parking rate of the ladeuze parking they advertise is currently 20 euros instead of the regular 22 euro rate for 24hours. Might as well not bother. All in all, for a similar room rate, there's better options in Leuven.

I explained everything in person to the woman at the reception desk, but she didn’t seem very interested, nor did she apologize for the issues — the shower only worked at near-boiling temperatures due to a broken control, the carpet was filthy, and the bottle of drinking water was never replaced during several days.
Martin — Google review
Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet is great, it is in a great central location with lots of restaurants close by. I will definitely use this Hotel again when I am in Leuven.
Denham — Google review
I wouldn't recommend it, especially in summer or hot days because they do not have AC in any of the rooms. Another inconvenient in the room they gave me is that the bathroom was in another level and you had to use a dangerous wooden stairs. For the price they charge per room you can find other better options. The staff is not friendly.
JOSEP V — Google review
Painfully ordinary hotel. It is sad that in a charming city like Leuven, there aren't much better choices than this. The location is good, room is spacious but the hardwares are so basic that it feels more like a student dorm. Breakfast is minimal, eggs are cold. Can't blame the staff because the hotel is clearly under-staffed, thus over priced for what it has to offer. PS. the entrance smelled gas... and it is very noisy at night, walls are paper thin...

Hotel De Pastorij Louvain is a charming bed-and-breakfast with individually decorated rooms and a romantic atmosphere. The 19th-century rectory features a walled courtyard adorned with potted sunflowers and geraniums, creating a cozy setting for guests to relax. The hotel's refurbishment has maintained its old-world charm while cultivating a homely ambiance.
Incredibly warm welcome from Carmen! Room was clean and neat, and the breakfast buffet was more than enough, with lots of fresh fruit, which I love. It’s walking distance from the city center. There is a parking you need to make a reservation for. It’s located before you pass the actual hotel when you drive in the street, on the left. It was closed when I arrived, so you might need to ask the key when you arrive. Recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Leuven. The place is clean, cozy, and full of character. The interior has a charming, historic feel that adds to the overall atmosphere. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Breakfasts were delicious, with a great variety of fresh options. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and a touch of local charm in the heart of the city.

Beautiful hotel with kind staff right in the heart of Leuven. My room was very spacious, almost like an apartment. Woke up to a lovely continental breakfast including fresh croissants every morning. When I told the manager I would depart early for the airport, she prepared a special breakfast the evening before! The rooms do not have air conditioning though, nor screens, and there were several mosquitos.

I cannot praise Hotel De Pastorij enough! It's such a lovely little hotel right in the heart of the beautiful city of Leuven. It's ideally situated, the rooms are really nice and embody the character of the city. It's ideally situated, a very short walk to the Oude Market and other city landmarks. There is plenty of choice for the breakfast, something for everyone, and it's always delicious. Most of all, I cannot thank Carmen enough for being such a lovely hostess. Kind, patient and always ready to help guests. If I am in Leuven again I would always look to come back to Hotel De Pastorij. I would highly recommend.
James F — Google review
Our room 'Michael' was more like an apartment, with a secondary room to watch TV, and a large bathroom. Equipped with golden oldies that probably belonged to the pastor who lived here, very tasteful. Close to the centre and all the sites you'd want to visit and see in Leuven. The only thing we forgot to do was arrange a parking place (only one available 🤔), so we had to rent a more expensive one in a parking garage and walk the distance. Walking seems to be good for our health. Cheers!
Hans G — Google review
Strongly recommend to stay in this hotel. I bet this should be the best one ever I stayed in. Carmen, she was so kind and the room was so nice, clean and convenient. There are only 6 rooms and not crowded at all, and the breakfast for the guests in 6 rooms was not rich, but very essential and excellent. If I am forced to suggest a minor one for the better hotel, the floor of shower booth was a little slippy during shower. It shall be perfect if an anti-slippery treatment action would be made on the floor. But I shall stay there again when I visit Leuven again. Carmen, thanks millions for your kindness and efforts, you gave me one of most beautiful memories in Leuven. Please stay healthy for other guests.

The name is misleading, Stay 2023 One of the worst hotels I've ever been to, disgusting rooms, uncomfortable bed with a sunken mattress. The bathroom was off-putting, the flush button fell off when touched. Not worth the money (115 eur per night) or your time.

Very good location, old aristocratic building but not maintained as it should be. There was a bad fungi smell everywhere in the common areas and the rooms were insufficient. The lamps were not operated at all and the TV was out of order. Very low value for money. The breakfast was ok.

NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. IT'S JUST A SCAM TO EARN YOUR MONEY. YOU CAN'T CANCEL IT AFTER BOOKING!!! I tried to use their online system to cancel the room two days before, but it does not work due to the "incorrect reservation number", which I copied from the EMAIL THEY SENT TO ME! So I have to send them an email to cancel it, but it still costs me 94 Euros for nothing!

Stayed here over Easter with my Lass June, whilst using the hotel as a base for a tour of Belgian Breweries. Very friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile....The breakfast buffet choice was excellent.....Hotel overall a bit old fashioned but only one minor point to complain about.....When tried to close the curtain in our room, we realised that there actually was only half a curtain. On bringing this to the attention of the reception, we were given a duvet cover to put up as the hotel was full and there were no other rooms.....This duvet cover in being white did not compensate for the lack of half a curtain...We complained about this when we arrived and we stayed for four nights....Nothing was done about the problem.....If we had had another half curtain I would have given 5 stars to this review.....but enjoyed staying with you....Thanks very much....

Very good overall experience and better than any supposed 'one star' hotel I've stayed in (especially at the price). I stayed in a very large, spotlessly clean room. Everything was in good condition with kettle etc. I had a great view and it was surprisingly quiet for a warm Saturday night. The whole place had character, unlike many of the sterile budget chains. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the included breakfast buffet was very good. I would definitely book again especially if attending a gig next door at Het Depot.

The rooms itself are 'okay'. Unfortunately they don't have AC, so in June it was unbearable hot and I had to leave the windows open. But then it is so loud it is hard to fall asleep until 1 AM and at 6 AM you wake up due to traffic noise. Check-In/Out was very easy, breakfast good.

Staying 1 night here, the staff are very friendly. They helped me to store my lugagge when i was running around the city. We got the room in the third floor and it was with stairs, the room was simple but the place to hang the hand soap is broken. We really love the place where we had the breakfast, just perfect to start the day. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at this hotel in late May (room 17) and unfortunately encountered an issue with bed bugs during the stay. While I understand that these things can happen even in clean environments and don’t necessarily reflect the overall cleanliness of the hotel, I was disappointed with how the situation was handled by the staff. When I reported the issue, I expected a more proactive and empathetic response. I sent an email on the night I checked out and immediately got a response saying that they couldn’t act right away because the next day was a holiday. This reaction felt somewhat dismissive and lacking in urgency. It would have made a big difference if they had taken more responsibility, offered immediate solutions, or at least acknowledged the inconvenience more sincerely. I never heard back from then since and it’s been over a week.
Melania P — Google review
Leaving a new review lowering my rate for service as well. We not only had to seek alternative accommodation because of a bed bug infestation that left us sleepless a whole night trying to deal with the issue We were also promised a refund that never arrived. My friend called and they said it had been processed and they would email us the receipt of this bank transaction and they NEVER sent it to us. So basically we were left in the streets of Leuven because our room could not be used and were promised a refund that never came. Abysmal.

!!! Do not have AC - in 36 C it is hell. You can't normally sleep even with open window 24/7 and black curtains to stop sun come in the room. You need to be ready, that room will be like a sauna. Rooms with windows on the station side - very, very loud in summer starting from 5.00 in the morning. Bathroom with some mould and very bad smell from canalisation.Breakfast - normal but not excellent - some eggs, scrumble, bacon, bread, meat two kind, salami, some fruits, some backery, coffee, tee, water and juice. Beds are very, very soft - someone will like it, someone not. And of course - there are not elevator - thats mean that it can be very hard for olderly people and hard for everyone in very hot weather. Only one possitive thing - friendly staff.

Pros: Room is good enough for a short stay, it's in a central location, feels secure, facilities are adequate for breakfast and lunch. Cons: If you have room facing the street you may find the noise from the bar opposite a problem; Saturday night was unbelievably noisy but Sunday and Monday no issue. Pullout bed is unbelievably uncomfortable In summary, it's in the city centre and therefore well placed, but I'd recommend ear plugs if you are given a room facing the street. The pullout bed is awful but the other bed is divine! I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and at no point had any issue with security

Good position and quite clean, but that’s mostly about it. The sofa-bed is incredibly uncomfortable and accompanies every movement with a symphony of squeakings. When I arrived the receptionist couldn’t make more than one key for the same room, apparently because the “system” wasn’t allowing it. Lastly, the noise coming front be street is so loud that for more than once I though I left the windows open. Overall, it was acceptable, but there’s a lot to improve.
Lorenzo C — Google review
The size of the room is pretty good. The location is perfect if you like to go clubbing and go to bed late. The shower is great. The bed was comfortable. But it's too hot! Impossible to stay in the room. There is no AC or fan. So you have to open all the windows. But It's very very noisy which makes it impossible to sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all.
Mandy R — Google review
The room is fair when you pay 70 euros per night, it has all you need including cuttlery, cleaned and functional. But do not call it "deluxe" studio, please. Although you book for two people, please be aware that one of the two people will sleep on the Ikea sofa with the "wavy" matress and rather half-sit on it than lay. It's been the worst sleep in our lives! (The bed sheet had three holes and stains which - apparently and hopefully - cannot be washed out) The room and the shower are clean. The receptionist responded in "you-should-have-read-it-on-the-website" way. There's "no party in the room" restriction but there's a pub downstairs, so you will unvoluntarily listen to THEIR party the whole night.

AVOID!! Please be extremely careful when reading the reviews of this place. Our company booked for a future trip in October (2 months from now) for 2 rooms, owing to extenuating circumstances we had to cancel the same day. A refund (partial or full) was requested and asking for them to consider the circumstances, but they refused (which they are entitled to do). Clearly, they value money over good service or providing a quiet, clean and safe place. This is extremely clear in other people comments. AVOID AVOID AVOID - you deserve better

The location was perfect with walking distance to the train station and city center. I did not have the opportunity to interact with any onsite staff. The after-hours call staff was responsive and helpful with my late check-in. The kitchenette was well stocked for a short stay, but some items were hard to reach for my height (around 67 inches). I would recommend better mattresses as either option in my room were both very soft and made for restless sleep.
Shane B — Google review
The property appears appealing at the time of booking, but the reality upon arrival is significantly underwhelming. I arrived early due to a work meeting and needed to store my luggage. Unfortunately, there was no one at reception. They provide an "urgent" number to call — I waited over 40 minutes before a woman finally answered, promising a call back within 10 minutes. No one ever called. I had also messaged the property the day before asking for instructions, but received no response. The room itself left much to be desired. It was only superficially clean, the mattress was uncomfortable and lumpy, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from outside the window. Basic amenities were lacking — for example, there was no covered trash bin provided, even though the space included a kitchen, so if you wanted to cook and had trash the place would stink like crazy. The bathroom was particularly disappointing: the sink was slow to drain, the shower head was clogged with calcium deposits so only half the water flowed through, the water was not warm, and there was no surface to place personal items. Overall, this stay was far from what was promised and left a lot to be desired.

No elevator to the 6th floor and no one informed us. No AC in this heat and they know we are 4 guests and they didn’t make enough beds ready knowing that we are coming late. No toilet paper and room barely cleaned. Save your money don’t stay here.

Nestled in the heart of Leuven, Hotel Mille Colonnes offers a charming and unpretentious stay for travelers seeking comfort without extravagance. This downtown gem features straightforward rooms equipped with essential amenities, ensuring a cozy retreat after exploring the vibrant city. Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi throughout their stay and indulge in delicious meals at the hotel's Belgian restaurant located on the ground floor. The unique check-in process requires visitors to enter through the restaurant, adding an intriguing twist to your arrival experience.
As a two-star hotel, the Mille Colonnes exceeds expectations. It is organized like a traditional tavern: restaurant below and rooms above. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable enough. Breakfast was tasty with warm and cold options including salads, meet and cheese, eggs and sausages, fruit, croissants and more. The location is perfect for traveling by train: directly opposite the station and at the same time in quiet and clean surroundings. You can also leave your bags after checking-out. The only problem was that they forgot to turn on the main cold water stopcock. Fortunately, we solved the challenge 😅 No A/C, it was no problem with day temperatures of 22-24.

Positive Nice staff. Room, furniture and bathroom in very good condition, and clean. Good breakfast included. Location is fine. Late check out (at 11 hours) Negative Window room facing a wall. No reception: entrance is through a restaurant, not usual for a hotel (seems to be more like a bed and breakfast: there are no personal available during the hours when the restaurant is closed). On our last day we went for a walk and returned at 10.45 to take our baggage and check out, but the key to our room was already disabled and wouldn't let us in. We had to ask the staff to re-enable it so we could enter the room.
Gabriela B — Google review
Very nice hotel. The ground floor has a Belgian restaurant with very good quality of both food and service. The hotel reception doubles as the restaurant's checkout counter, so you need to enter the restaurant and check in first. The only way to enter the hotel is via the door at the rear of the restaurant and up the stairs, which may not be suitable for people who has a problem with walking or the elderly. However, the rooms and restaurant decor are nice and chic, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely, I'd like to use this place again.

Small but clean rooms, funny postcard size tv, pressureless shower. Convenient location by train station, 15min walk to Oude Markt. Breakfast was really, really good! Fresh rolls, croissants, yoghurt, bacon, 3 kinds of eggs, cheese & cold cuts selection, delicious pastes, veggies and fruit, cereal, proper orange juice.. in other words, everything needed for a good breakfast. Didnt remember Belgium as a breakfast country 😃 Would come again!

The standard (single) room is quite small but comfortable, equipped with all necessities for daily life. The hotel lies right at the corner of pic 3. Through the window of my room, you could see pic 1&2. I spent the first few days here after landing in Europe. I really appreciate all the warmth and enthusiasm they gave. The price was 50€ per night (Feb 2020), and buffet breakfast was included. The breakfast was really awesome, much better than that in next door.

It's a small hotel very close to the station. The staff was friendly. We had a room at the back, very silent. It was quite small, enough for us. However the room was inclined and the bed too. It wasn't a problem to sleep, only weird. Breakfast was very good, wide variety. I liked it! Very good relation quality-price
Isabel G — Google review
Very close to train station. It's right on a square and you go into the restaurant to check in. Staff is very friendly. Be aware of no A/C and lots of stairs! But the windows do have screens. Our room was in the back and very quiet. Great lighting in the room and lots of outlets. Room and bathroom both very small, but consistent with the price, which was low. Clean overall with small stains on carpet and grout in shower. Shower and toilet worked well. Breakfast was very good with a big variety of both hot and cold options, including nice fruit. Wifi worked well.
Christina B — Google review
Wonderful location. Walking into the restaurant to check in is rather surreal, but it works. 2e city tax is needed. It is a basic place with all necessities. Simple room, but I wouldn't haven't wanted more for the short trip. Soap was wonderful, I could have showered for hours! Breakfast at a nice restaurant, but did not meet the expectations when compared with all the reviews. Broken crockery, chipped cups, muggy glasses are simple maintenance things that would have made it 5 star.

Brasserie De La Gare, located in Leuven, is a charming boutique hotel housed in a historic townhouse opposite the train station. The accommodations offer modern amenities such as cable TV and complimentary Wi-Fi, while guests can indulge in a sumptuous buffet breakfast. The brasserie exudes a festive ambiance during the Christmas season with its cozy decorations. The efficient and friendly staff ensure that visitors can enjoy their meals or drinks without unnecessary delays.
My wife, best friend, her very young daughter and the rest of our group were made very welcome by the wonderful waiter here, who got us a table for 8, which I really appreciate! Delicious borrelhapjes - beer was perfect, as were the drinks for the kids. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to the wonderful waiters who really went above and beyond - when the youngest one fell he was there to cheer her up. Thank you so much. I completely recommend this place.

Good stay! As name suggests, this is a very budget friendly place as suppose to other hotels. Nice amenities and privacy. Stayed there for around 10 days but the last 2 days turned to be a nightmare due to renovation noise and drillings. Though can’t complain much, a notice of the work would have been nice to plan in advance.

It was my first time ever cleaning a floor with soap! The bedroom was so dusty, and I ended up cleaning it all by myself. I really hope the owner realizes the place needs more thorough attention to cleanliness.

I strongly advise against staying at Budget Flats Leuven. During my stay from May 18 to May 25, 2025, I was a victim of theft — a large sum of money that I had left in my apartment was stolen. I had placed it in a pouch and stored it in the wardrobe upon arrival. When I retrieved it on Friday, it was gone. The police were contacted, and a formal complaint was filed. As a student and intern at KU Leuven, this incident was extremely upsetting and has made the start of my stay very difficult. There was no safe provided in the room, and the security conditions appear to be completely insufficient. I received no meaningful assistance from the management, and the issue seems to have been taken lightly. This was a very distressing experience, and I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone who values safety and peace of mind.

We book a specific type of room, in the web was better than it was in reality, the furniture were old and it was quite dirty, don’t trust the photos at all. Despite that the other things were ok.
Álvaro G — Google review
We stayed 4 nights at the Bierbeekstraat location. The price was very reasonable. The room was spacious with ok equipment - including hair dryer and clothes iron. Wireless speed was decent. The ceiling was darkened by previous use by smokers and smoke could be faintly smelled in the hallway. The floor in the room was incredibly dirty. So much, we had to wear outside shoes in the room. Just few steps in socks or barefoot would blacken your toes and heels. Under the table and in corners the floor was sticky. Absolutely worst it was under the bed. The towels were quite gray and smelled suspiciously. It would be so nice place if it wasn't so dirty!

I booked this apartment for work, due to lack of options in Leuven this place was the only one that had 5 night is a row available and was close to my office. They confirmed my reservation via booking but when I got there they could not find my reservation. They just calmly said that my name is not in the system and I was left without a stay for five days! They offered one night in a better room and said I would have to pay for it instead of offering it as compensation! Worst experience of my life. The sales person tried to argue that it was my fault because they did not send me an email but I did not allow her to manipulate me! I had proof that they had sent me a message via booking. Bad service, mean and dishonest.
Greta G — Google review
We are currently staying here for 2 months. The location is in a quite neighborhood with easy (5 min walk) access to the delijn bus service. The reception is also quite friendly. The room we live in is not well maintained. The bathroom is terrible with taps and showers getting blocked every couple of days. Some of the lamps are broken/missing too. The stove is not of a good quality and it takes a lot of time to prepare a meal. Overall I would say, good location but not so good rooms. Not worth the rent we pay.
Ali K — Google review
Good idea for long staying hotel, and it looks good, has renovated rooms with good facilities and almost full set for kitchen. But there are so many small bugs like shower cabin that doesn't make any restrictions for water, TV set that needs checking of connections by myself, short time of work for reception desk, room cleaning by extra money if it needed within week period. All these are normal for long staying motels, but here is price as in hotel (need to say that this price is chipest in Leuven if you don't neet stay on weekend and holidays)

Solid hotel in a good location in downtown Leuven, near public transport. Nice staff, good breakfast, reasonable price. I'd stay here again. There's another hotel right across the street where you can stay for free, but I've heard it's not as nice.

Do NOT stay here. A few highlights of this place include: - centuries old carpet (which makes you feel dirty even while wearing socks and showcases it's wear and tear in multiple areas of the room) - DNA sample collection (in the form of hairs from previous guests in the shower!) - water saving measures (by changing the temperature in the shower every couple of minutes: Antarctica cold or scathing Inferno) - the singlest double bed ever (allows you to be very aware of the space you take in the world!) Really, don't stay here. I travel frequently for work (staying in hotels 1/2 nights per week) and this is by far the worst I've stayed in in years. Check in was easy and polite - that's why they get at least the 1 star.

Hotel is in a convenient location close to train station. The staff is professional and friebdly. The rooms are clean and failrly large. I gave 3 stars bc there's no AC and it is very loud on street outside at night which makes it hard to get sleep with windows open when it's hot.

The hotel's 15 guestrooms are equipped with amenities such as flat-screen TVs, smoke detectors, and electronic key cards.
A great place to stay in Leuven! The rooms are clean, comfy and airy for the fee you pay. The location is five star , 10 minutes away, walking from the train station and five minutes away from the Town Hall and market. Being tucked away on a lateral street, it offers a very private and quiet stay while being in the midst of the bustling city action. Personally, having had the chance to stay at the property for a week it was the perfect option to adapt a quiet, discreet lifestyle to the city`s culture whilst making lifelong friends. The staff is youthful, very friendly and helpful. It really felt like staying at a friend`s place! I hope you will enjoy your stay too :)

It’s really really hard to find the parking lot if you don’t be careful. The soundproofing is really bad. I can hear people walking outside in the room. Also if you don’t come before 8 pm , you will easily be locked outside. …. That’s all

Spent just one night here. Service was really great and friendly. We parked at the public parking, it's quite expensive but right in front of the hotel. Our room was on the first floor, very quiet. The room was extremely small, so if you come with large suitcases it won't be easy, even with small carryon bags it is hard. Bathroom was small but OK. Apart from being so small, the rest was OK. Very close to all the sights. Breakfast is included and was a big surprise.

A low-cost small hotel. Good staff. Great breakfast. The rooms are very tight, so ok if you are not going to spend any time in them. Would be perfectly ok for a few night's business visit, if you are a heavy sleeper, however, it has poor sound insulation, both from outside street noise and internally between rooms. If like myself you are a light sleeper, then hearing the snoring of adjacent rooms meant a very disturbed night's sleep. I will not be using this hotel again due to the bad sound isolation of low frequencies.

Happy to read that I am wrong. The personnel was great and very polite and I appreciated this a lot. I would give more attention to the cleaning. Cons:The beds are doubles despite being adertised as King size. My husband is 6ft 5 and I am quite thick. Too small bed, dusty bedroom, incredibly tiny shower. I could not reach my legs to wash them in the shower. The heat in the dining room was unbearable. No air conditioner and no elevator, just narrow stars. Pros: Perfect location easy access many things. The train station is directly opposite. Simple breakfast, Plenty of dining places inside and outside. Staff are extremely curteous and helpful. The noise level was quite minimal for Summer including the night time.

I came for the simple hair cut (just cut weak ends). On the website there was the information in Flemish that this week haircut and blow dry is for 25euro. When I came the English speaking administrator didn’t offer me any special price and announced that simple haircut costs 42 euro. Actually I was ok with the price and didn’t ask about the promo on the website. Then my master came. She didn’t speak English at all. And in this case I suppose that administrator could participate and describe my preferences to the master in Flemish. But she didn’t and just disappeared from the welcome desk. My master washed my hairs - it was ok, but when she started to brush it, I thought I lost them all for 40 eur. I don’t have really strong hairs, so always do the brushing gently. Master didn’t react on my comments that I feel pain and continued in the same way. She made my haircut for 10 minutes, and actually I was ok with it. But didn’t show me any result with the second mirror from the back. Actually, somebody can say that it is not really critical, but when you come to the high quality saloon you expect that the crew will care about you and results they provide. But nobody didn’t even ask me if I like it or not. Then my lady went to look for the administrator to make the bill for me. She checked all the rooms, didn’t find anyone and decided to proceed my payment by herself. As I already was not satisfied I decided to check if they really had the discount as announced on the website “snit & brushing for 25”. I showed this announcement to my master and asked (with the body language) if “snit” means “cut”. She answered no. So I payed the full amount and lived the place really disappointed.

This hotel is a little gem. It’s clean and the breakfast is comprehensive. The staff is really accommodating (they were so nice when I separately changed both my check in and check out date) and I love the humor with the hotel name and street name (street is sheep street). Hotel in a very nice centrally location. The car park was an advantage with flexible parking times and a fair price. The rooms are nice and modern. But due to the location it can be louder. Condo Gardens Leuven is located in Leuven, close to the city's attractions. It offers self-catered accommodation with a courtyard and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped and clean.
We read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel. But we were surprised, a room for three people, extremely clean, heating works, staff extremely friendly, we came for the weekend and expected noise, but nothing. Of course, there are some things that need to be arranged, repaired, but it is not noticeable, but you are not in Sherston. Definitely a warm recommendation and see you again. And streets around hotel is nice.

Reception was closed, I had to wait until another guest with the key arrived. Check in is done on a kiosk computer. Single studio was not like on photos. Main light is so dim, I had to switch on the kitchen leds on the cooker plate. Bathroom has curtains instead of a door, no ventilation or light bulb existed in the bathroom. Really bad experience....

Good location within walking distance from thr toen centre. Room was clean and had everything you'd need including utensils and crockery. Wifi coverage worked well and bed was comfy. Quiet area, didn't notice any noise, however a leaking boiler into the sink was a bit of a nuisance noise-wise. Would stay again

If there was a star lower than 1 star I would have given these people because that’s what they deserve. My boyfriend and I booked this place for 3 days and it was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It was dirty, the bathroom was filled with hair and stains. The floor was sticky and I’m pretty sure the bedsheets were not changed because it had stains on it. And for the price? Total waste of money. If you’re thinking of booking this place please run as far away as you can with your money because you’ll regret it.

the worst place you can visit. The first day we arrived, we were shocked by the dirt that greeted us in the cold apartment. The entire space is heated by a small heater that takes 2 days for the room temperature to be acceptable. The next day we started cooking and automatically ran out of electricity, we called the receptionist who was extremely unpleasant and rude, and thus we were forced to contact booking, who decided to move us to another apartment. The second apartment is just as dirty but at least functional enough that you can cook lunch. On the last day, a message arrives asking us to pay extra for electricity (additional costs are not listed anywhere on the booking). We contact booking again, to which they say that it is impossible to ask us and that they cannot take the same money from the account. Be sure to by pass this place if you want to enjoy your vacation! I am attaching all the photo

Apart from the location and the friendly but slightly grumpy service, the room itself had a lot of drawbacks. First of all, the previous guest seem to have smoked inside, leading to a nasty lingering cigarette smell which also diffused into my clothes. There were cigarette ashes near the window. Generally, the place did not seem to have been cleaned properly, the floors, counter-tops etc. were all very dusty. The toilet hasn't been cleaned and there were urine stains on the toilet-seat, which was a nasty surprise. The TV didn't work (verified the socket, which had juice) and overall the room had a very cheap feel. Cannot recommend staying there!

Rooms are not very clean and furniture is ready to be replaced. We stayed there for one night during a the rock Werchter festival, so I understand that there is a certain demand at this time and therefore a price increase… but this place is not worth more than 50 € a night (in my opinion) if it is more expensive don’t do it.
Tobias G — Google review
The room I got was totally old, and I paid more than 90€ per night. The bathroom screen was falling apart and there were spiders on the walls. I guess they have renovated some rooms (the ones that appear in the photos that they show) and but they have really old rooms from like the 80s, which are a total rip-off. Just make sure you get a new one. The garden is nice, the place is quiet and the people working there are friendly.

Extended stay hotel
Boardhousing Aparthotel is a 3-star accommodation located near the center of Leuven, just a short bus ride away. The hotel is conveniently situated close to a market and two bus stops. Guests can enjoy free wifi on every floor, although some may experience weak signals on their smartphones. Additionally, guests have the option to choose between daily or weekly room cleaning services. The rooms are well-equipped with kitchenettes and amenities such as coffee machines.
Enjoyed my stay at boardhousing, room was nice and clean, had everything inside that was needed, even a coffee machine, that makes a nice cup. Bus stop just outside. If you ask them they will provide a bike to use, which is very useful as there isn’t much in heverlee, although leuven centre is about 10 minute cycle. My only gripe would be that I couldn’t close my window properly in the room, Although still giving 5 stars.
William S — Google review
The person cleaning the room was very friendly and helpful. The room is a little small and the walls of the WC are not till the roof. The place is tidy and clean. The free bicycles they provide is really good.

Close relatives came to town for a week to visit my wife and I in occasion of the birth of our first daughter, and we advised them to stay at Boardhousing Aparthotel as we had family stay there in the past and it is conveniently located. Unfortunately, we came to regret our advice as the service they were provided with wasn't up to what you'd expect. Our relatives asked for a twin room, but they were given a double room. And even though they made it clear that they wanted their beds to be separated, they never were. Even worse, the shower and air conditioning didn't work when they first got there. And while the former was fixed a day later, the latter never was. And, mind you, during the week the relatives were in town, the temperature reached peaks of 34°C! Add some other minor inconveniences and you've got a recipe for disaster.

Great place to stay in Leuven. Great covid 19 protocol. Pick up your key without any human contact. Front door opens and closes automatically. Only draw back are the wooden blinds are not black out and should be replaced with roll down shades. Also didn't see the kitchen cost and extra €5 if stay is less than 4 days. Yet, tye TV wasn't working and they replaced it Immediately. So I would recommend this hotel.

Nice room with a tiny kitchenette, friendly staff. Free bikes available on request.

Position is perfect, a lot of green space's for sport activities, 30 min nice walking down town( 1.5 KM).. reception friendly unfortunately the room service a bit late ( cleaning) but everything else is fine. Recommended

I stayed in Boardhousing Aparthotel for 5 days . It's a 3 star hotel close to the center of Leuven (around 10 minutes by bus). There is a market close to the hotel (Carrefour Express) and 2 bus stops in the vicinity. - Free wifi on every floor. My laptop was able to connect properly, but i think smartphones are having troubles with the signal. Maybe it's a bit weak. - You have the choice to either have your room cleaned each day (day rate) or once a week (week rate). Of course the weekly rate is much cheaper. - Bathroom is quite big actually. - The mattress is fine, there is a fridge, a wardrobe and a safe. - Free bike! Although it has no lights whatsoever and Leuven people told me the police might give me a ticket for this. So i didn't use it after the sun went down. - Don't forget: you have to check in at the BOARDHOUSE (which is 5 minutes on foot) and then get your card and go to BOARDHOUSING if your room is located there. The employees were really kind. Nice experience overall. Remember, this is a 3-star hotel.

A very convenient hotel for mid-term stays in Leuven/Heverlee. Well-equipped kitchenette and very nice accommodations to make a couple of weeks in the area very easy. Close to Kasteel Arenberg, and a 15-minute walk from the Leuven city centre.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my parents-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary here with 25 guests. Lexi and her husband Frey are amazing hosts—the location is beautiful, with a lovely garden and terrace, all very clean and thoughtfully designed. Lexi took care of every detail, recommended a great caterer, and even set up a small kids’ corner for the children. I highly recommend this place for any special event

Amazing “mini-castle”, but well-insulated, so was able to keep warm in winter, along with the hot tub and sauna. Easily sleeps 7 people (2 full bedrooms, one with en suite) and 3 single beds nicely situated upstairs in a spacious “living room”.
