Beautiful place, the inside is really original with the open kitchen. The food is really good, all based on meatballs (classic and unusual). The price is excellent. We had a little problem with the service, but the waiter offer us the dessert. Very kind of him

Very nice staff. Tasty food, however I found the portions on the small size comparing to the price. Also felt like the mashed potato was warmed up (microwaved or sth) as it was still slightly cold. But definitely delicious.

Tasty food, but it felt more like a homecooked leftover meal to me, rather than a fresh one. I mean, it was still in the spirit of their business idea: "du slow food servi rapidement". For me it felt like the mashed potato was microwaved and maybe the meat ball was freshly fried on the spot, but cannot guarantee. The taste wasn't to die for, but not bad either. Mediocre, but hopefully smth authentic, so I have no regrets. I was on the rush and the microwave method served me well, I guess😅

Very tasty and fresh food, amazing cold pasta and veggie rice ball! I Ordered via Uber Eats and the packaging of the food was very nice and practical to keep the food warm. Good visual too. The only minus point is the price, pretty expensive especially for the cheese balls and dessert. But otherwise the food was amazing!

It's a nice concept, friendly staff ... quantity of food is also good. But the taste of the food is not the greatest. It's not bad - but given the other choices in the area, you would think twice before coming back. But good for a try out

Pulled pork burger was something else entirely. The cocktail was more foam than drink. Still, lovely atmosphere and great design. Nice waiting staff too

The atmosphere in the restaurant is really cozy, especially in the evening. The menu is diverse and delicious, the portions are big. Service is quite fast, but sometimes not really organized, but it’s a minor issue, because everyone is polite and gentle. In general highly recommend!

The food was good. I am order the lamb curry, lasagna and brownie and hot chocolate for the dessert. I have a great dinner here.

Nice interior and terrace and yard, with a good selection of beers (some craft and local beers) and a nice food menu for apéro, starters and main meals. I did spend some afterwork evening there and it was nice to come back!

Wonderfully mixed and relaxed guests with wonderfully 100% homemade mixed style foods and a fabulous very special beer choice served by wonderfully friendly and careful personnel in one of the most beautiful locations in Leuven. (The food was so good I forgot to make pictures.)

Super tender, juicy and delicious skewers 💯 Already visited twice and loved both the "Kofta (Beef & Lamb)" and "Mixed Grill Kebab"! Both served with wraps, hummus, a generous amount of vegetables and BABA GHANOUSH (eggplant, my favourite)!!! Great service and nice seating both in- and outdoors :) Looking forward to visit many more times 👍🏻

The food is absolutely delicious; the grilled mix kebab was beautifully presented and rich in flavor. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is also a bookshelf with informative and actual content, you can read and spend a peaceful time here.

Went there quickly to get some food before an appointment and the service was fast and effective. I couldn't enjoy the atmosphere for too long, but it was wonderfully pleasant and I adored the music they played. When I got my food I was surprised by how good it was (and how massive my chicken wrap was. I have been lied all those years by supermarkets about the correct size of one!) and enjoyed eating it greatly

They have a very cute store with varieties of tartes and cakes. I tried their raspberry cheesecake and it is delicious. The staff was very helpful and made me feel comfortable with my choices . Will definitely recommend for those in Leuven

I really love the tartes and tiramisu here! They have a fantastic taste, not overly sweet, which makes them even more delightful. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable. I bet you won't be able to resist having just one piece!

I thought the kofte quiche and Quiche Lorraine were excellent - fresh buttery pastry and good quality filling. My husband wasn't impressed with the salmon tarte and found it bland. Be sure to ask for a small size at €8 otherwise they'll automatically give you a large which is €24!

Looks nice outside, however service attitude like shit, another face to local Dutch speaker maybe, products are just normal. I regret any pennies I paid there. Second time, last time

The two times I came, the products I bought were not fresh. An expensive baguette which tasted and felt like two days old, french people could have a heart attack ! Fortunately I gave it to the chicken before getting sick. I will not speak about the koning taart, I think my previous comment is enough. Hopefully I felt at every time on the product to avoid. Their name is as simple as can be for any bakery. The total opposite of what they deliver. With an extraordinary amount of pastries, bread, cakes and more to choose from you are in for a treat. They mostly have huge amounts of it too so you’re less likely to be left with pickings by noon. To be sure just order in advance of course. Don’t be afraid of long lines, they have a huge staff and work at a high pace without losing touch with the customer!

A quite unbelievable cake shop and bakery even by Belgian standards ! Vast selection of gorgeous product , fresh and delicious . Get there early for your bread or you will be met with empty shelves such is the demand - fabulous !

I greeted them as I entered and asked if I could have a sandwich. They didn't even return my greeting or show me a smile. “As you can see”, the lady just said, "I'm busy right now." This is incredibly rude. This will only lead to fewer and fewer customers.

Not very special sandwiches. I took a sandwich with vegetables but the main part of the vegetables of the sandwich were not available (do not call ‘vegetables sandwich’ something that you can not prepare). The service is bad.

I stroled in today to check out if it was possible to eat in and asked my son to wait outside. As I walked in the lady at the counter who was busy making a sandwich for another client asked if I needed help to which I replied: “no thank you, I’m just looking around”. She then spoke in a high aggressive tone saying: “De bakkerij is aan de andere kant” waving her arm to me as though to shoo me away. I thought I had heard wrongly and said: “excuseer, wat zeg je?” She again insisted on saying the same thing but this time yelling. I astonished asked her to stop screaming and say the same thing in another way! The client seemed uncomfortable and when he left with his sandwich I tried to engage with this lady who avoided eye contact. I expressed my need for politeness to which she turned abruptly avoiding eye contact saying:”Bye!” and turned her back to me. Well… I went out to my son and said: “Come let’s go somewhere else”.

Nice and small coffee place in Kessel-Lo, friendly owners, clearly very much in to everything Sweden :) Good to have a chat or read a book while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. There's a selection of freshly baked cakes (which are being made as you're there), unfortunately no vegan offer (yet?) :(

It's a lovely place to enjoy your coffee while reading your book. The owners are so sweet and welcoming. Their coffee tastes really good☕️🤍 Next time I wanna try their soup! (I normally don't like matcha latte, but the one here is zeer lekker !! You should give it a try!)

Good bread and good selection. But standing in line for 30 mins to buy 2 crossaints is ridiculous. No one running the bakery tries to speed up the buying process. Story of most bakeries in Leuven though. Also, please head to Korst for real sourdough.

I read it from the reviews on Google Maps that everything in this bakery is made from sourdough. God knows how long I have been looking for sourdough bread in Leuven. This bakery closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can order the breads online two days before your pick-up day, then (I can only assume that) you can get your freshly baked bread on the pick-up day. I ordered a dark bread, a croissant and a cinnamon roll online and picked them up this morning. - The dark bread is indeed made from sourdough. It's very crispy on the outside, and moisture on the inside. It has a natural light sweet-sour flavor, which is exactly what I was expecting. - For those who love great croissants, their croissants won't disappoint you. Although I prefer having my croissant freshly out of the oven (burning hot), the croissants I received were quite pleasant. It wasn't warm, but the crispy level is quite satisfying. What impresses me the most is the distinct flavor of butter. I wonder how they managed to highlight the butter flavor without making the croissants too greasy. - The cinnamon roll is also a delight. It's sticky and sweet like a cinnamon roll should be, but not too sweet, and the bread is not soggy at all despite of the sugar frosting. They are also not cheap with the cinnamon. Good job! I suppose the only problem I have is that their breads are a little bit pricey. I give them four stars because there is always room for improvement. At least for now, I haven't been blown away by their product yet. All in all, it has been a nice experience. I will definitely come back for more. I'm already making plans for their multi-grain bread and nut bread.

Sourdough is not enough to make good products. The bread is just ok, the pastry is terrible, it feels like old bread already in the morning, don’t expect real croissants or any laminated dough. Service is unfriendly and unprofessional. I understand there is little competition in Leuven but you can do better.
