American restaurant
Restaurant
The Leaning Pear is a popular Wimberley restaurant known for its locally sourced, seasonal American menu served in a modern, eco-conscious indoor-outdoor setting. The treehouse design adds to the charm of this establishment, which is frequented by both locals and visitors.
Loved The Leaning Pear! The staff was so welcoming and kind from the moment we walked in- we felt right at home (thanks Morgan). The food was amazing, and ice tea was the best I’ve had. We enjoyed our lunch so much we came back for dinner! Highly recommend for great food, service and atmosphere.

We stopped by this weekend for some early dinner and drinks with friends. Nice place but a bit rowdy outside with lots of unsupervised kids running around. Servers were nice and seemed to be hustling so they were likely understaffed as service was a bit slow. To drink, the girls had the pink frozen gin drinks and I had the mangonada. Both were pretty delicious but the mangonadas take awhile to to be served so be prepared. I was originally going to get a craft beer but the selection was pretty limited. To eat, we shared the pretzels and the sprouts. The pretzels were decent but the sprouts stood out for me, which is a bit surprising based on my normal preferences. To eat, we shared a 1/2 rueben, 1/2 pimento cheese (its cool they let you do 1/2s), and a small house salad. The salad was fantastic with the pecans and vinaigrette and of the two sandwiches, I'd lean to the pimento cheese.

Portion was much larger than i expected! Personally i would have preferred more seasoning in the meatloaf but that's just me. The lemon blueberry pana cotta literally made me cry bc of how incredible it was. Such a breath taking experience is rare in food. I can see myself making the hour plus journey to Wimberly just for the panna cotta, if i ever have a bad day. Servers were kind and friendly and helpful. Im very full and very happy and i feel my soul is cleansed. ✨️
Queef J — Google review
Very busy for brunch. The wait time wasn’t that bad and they text once your table is ready. Indoor and outdoor seating a nice perk. The online menu is live and you can see things that are available in real time. We were able to get the last 2 sausage sandwiches. Very tasty! Very nice wait staff.
Candace D — Google review
The staff is well trained and very helpful and responsive. The decor is fresh and hip without being obnoxious. The menu really isn't over priced which I find refreshing these days. I had the migas, it was warm not hot but the taste was so good.
Mark S — Google review
The server didn’t come up to us for at least 15 minutes and then my sandwich came out like this. The outside is pretty and I enjoyed that, but the care put into the food was nonexistent. I wouldn’t serve dinner at home like this let alone pay $17 for this sandwich at a highly rated restaurant.
Meredith W — Google review
My friend and I made it promptly as the restaurant was opening for brunch, so crowding and a long wait wasn't a factor. Our waitress was great and answered our questions clearly. Nice atmosphere. Convenient parking. I'm hoping to visit another time to explore other aspects of the menu.
Annaka M — Google review
I had high expectations because of the reviews I have seen so far. We went for Sunday brunch and I ordered the meatloaf with hash potatoes. My friend she got the chicken and waffles and for appetizer we had the kimchi hush puppies. We enjoyed the hush puppies it was delicious. I didn’t really care for the meatloaf. honestly 2/3 of the plate are potatoes and barely got any meatloaf and it was very salty I had to ask for ketchup to drown the saltiness. My friend’s waffle was ok but the chicken tenders were burnt and only had two teeny tenders. It was an ok meal for me it could have been better if I got 2/3 of meatloaf and less of the potatoes but it was the other way around so it was disappointing. I normally give higher rating but this one didn’t earn it in my opinion. I would give the kimchi hush puppies a kudos.

Pizza restaurant
Community Pizza & Beer Garden is a rustic-chic hotspot for pizza enthusiasts, offering specialty pizzas and a wide selection of craft brews on tap. The restaurant transforms into a musical haven with live performances, creating an engaging experience for diners. Located near Wimberley TX, it's popular among fun-loving couples, families, and solo travelers. The dog-friendly outdoor area and open seating arrangement perfectly complement the draft beer, pizza, and famous artichoke dip.
The overall experience was wonderful!Food came out hot and prompt. Was delicious. The only comment I have for potential improvement would be the Shrimp Scampi, there was not enough sauce for the noodles, it very much tasted simply like noodles and shrimp no butter or lemon etc. The pizzas were absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best pizza I have savored. The salads are fresh and delicious. The Calamari was yummy and hot. Overall this was a great place and I would recommend!
Romy — Google review
Good little pizza spot, got a pie and a couple of drinks. Cool little outside area which is kid friendly. Nice inside semi outside bar with decent amount of seats. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Mike C — Google review
Beautiful place to eat. You can choose outside with beautiful natural flowers and scenery. You may choose picnic table seating, comfortable outdoor chairs. Or you can head inside for a nice few seats that you still feel comfortable and inviting. Service was great! We tried the recommendations of our server. I apologize I have forgotten her name. It seems as all the staff would be knowledgeable and eager to help with recommendations and wonderful service. The food was delicious
Dee M — Google review
As per the locals, it's the best pizza in town. The taste is good. Waiting time to get a table was 35 minutes for us and another 40 minutes to get the food. Service and atmosphere were good.
Zahed H — Google review
Wow. We LOVED this place! We went here for lunch on a Saturday. We had a group of 15, but don't have to wait more than 20 minutes to get seated all together. Our waiter Anthony was the best! We all had cocktails, and I have to say their house margarita is as good as some top shelf margaritas I've had at some Mexican restaurants! As an app we had some different salads and their blistered shisito peppers. The peppers are served with a spicy ranch sauce that is BOMB. Definitely order these! We all had pizza, and the margherita, the Italian meats, and the Illuminati were our favorites! The Illuminati was sweet and spicy, then has a tangy kick from the gorgonzola. Solid pizza choice 👌. The pizza is wood fired and so yummy! Definitely pop in here if you're hungry for pizza while in Wimberly!
Ashlee H — Google review
Community Pizza’s “Italian Stallion” rides in hot! Loved it! & the Wagyu steak with frites? Luxuriously marbled, seared like a secret, and flanked by fries that are dangerously snackable. On vacation & loved the whole community.
Bart K — Google review
Firstly the food was great, the pizza had the perfect amount of crunch amd chew, the center was a bit floppy. The rosemary fries were great, no complaints there. Now to the negitives, It did take us a very long time to get our drinks from the bar, also the line to the bar being right next to our table made eating very uncomfortable. Every few minutes I had to ask someone not to put their butt right in my face while I was eating.
Charles O — Google review
Haven't been here since the reopening. Great atmosphere and decor, however the food missed the mark. It was Halloween and we had made reservations ahead of time in anticipation of a long wait. We got 2 appetizers and 2 pizzas. Not the quality or great taste prior to the remodel. The kids cheese pizza had an off taste and the dough was under cooked and soggy. Pretty hard to mess up a cheese pizza. Dough mouth feel came across as sour. The appetizers were small and price point didnt justify the serving size or quality. Off night for the kitchen? Perhaps. We will give them another try i guess, not good enough to be motivated to do it. I will update review when and if we do.

Visiting from out of town and stayed at the square, where everything is just walking distance away.. my bf and I walked around looking for a place to have dinner at and decided on this place.. We started off with a couple of mocktails and deviled eggs with fried oysters in top and omg.. delish!! For main, we wanted something light so we got more fried oysters, a salad with avocado, wild rice and grilled shrimp and crispy potatoes.. food was awesome and even better, a visit from the chef.. nice and friendly, down to earth fella!! Made the experience much better.. kudos!!

We came in late at night heading out for our honeymoon, we found this beautiful little restaurant by chance. It was an amazing experience and we could not have planned a better place. The food was amazing! We would like to give a special thanks to Jack who was our server. Thank you so much our new friend. We look forward to seeing you in another year.

Stumbled on this lovely place when visiting Wimberly Tx.. This place is a must eat at. Food is tasty, drinks are yummy and the service was great! The chef has a special touch and creates amazing food. Fried olives, deviled eggs and the flourless torte, all amazing.

Culinary Experience at Longleaf Craft Kitchen + Bar Nestled in the heart of Wimberley, Longleaf Craft Kitchen + Bar offers a beautifully designed space that blends rustic charm with modern elegance. The presentation of each dish is acceptable, the bar is well-curated with a decent selection, and the menu provides a thoughtful variety of choices. While the portions lean on the smaller side, the flavors are well-executed and satisfying. A soft musical backdrop would further enhance the ambiance, complementing the inviting atmosphere. However, the true highlight of the evening was our exceptional waitress, Ashlee, whose attentive and warm service went above and beyond expectations. We look forward to seeing these small refinements in place and will certainly return soon!

The food was amazing and seemed too good for such a small town. Everything was beyond my expectations and I was blown away. Staff was great too. I’m looking forward to making another trip into town and I will definitely be coming back.

This place is right next door to Wimberley Cafe and we gave it a try because the cafe had a 45-minute wait. Mixed review here because the food took a very, very long time to come out. In fact, when we were there, the table next to us got up and left because they were tired of waiting. When the food finally came out, the burger ($23) was extremely salty but edible and the crispy potatoes were pretty good. Very nice plate presentation though.
Jason R — Google review
Pork chop was 10/10 so tender and flavorful, sides were also great. We added a side of Brussels, also recommended. Cocktails & Mocktails also great.
Benjamin B — Google review
I popped in for a craft cocktail and hang on the patio. The bartender was super nice and positive. I asked what the top 3 drinks were and went with the black beauty drink. This was not worth 17.32. It was horrible. The food looks amazing. Maybe I’ll come back to eat. But definitely not the cocktails.

Great little spot, food was amazing, and the vibes were immaculate. I’ll be 100% coming back when visiting Wimberley A standout destination for anyone looking to enjoy upscale dining in a relaxed, rustic setting. Nestled along a quiet creekside property, the atmosphere perfectly blends Southern charm with contemporary elegance. Whether you’re seated inside the cozy, farmhouse-style dining room or outside on the patio under string lights, the ambiance invites you to slow down and savor the experience. The menu showcases Southern-inspired dishes with elevated flair. Their wood-grilled steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked to temperature, while the shrimp and grits deliver on both comfort and flavor. Starters like the smoked salmon dip and fried green tomatoes make for a strong beginning, and the desserts—especially the bread pudding—are worth saving room for. Service is consistently warm and attentive, reflecting true Texas hospitality. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and offers thoughtful recommendations based on taste preferences. Creek House also features a well-curated selection of wines, craft cocktails, and local brews to round out the experience. This riverside gem is an absolute must visit! I've seen all the great reviews, and they are absolutely spot on. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a fantastic atmosphere, complete with plenty of shade which is perfect for a sunny day. We started with the fresh queso, and it was unbelievably good creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Then came the star of the show: the cheeseburger. It was thick, juicy, cooked to perfection, and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. To top it all off, their mimosas are absolutely delicious, the perfect complement to a leisurely meal by the water. The live music added such a wonderful vibe to the whole experience, making it truly memorable. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. This is the ideal spot for a relaxing meal with friends or family, offering great food, refreshing drinks, and a fantastic ambiance. We will definitely be back!

First visit. We were in Wimberley for the last of the swimming for this year and I found Creekhoyse Kitchen on Google Maps based on reviews and distance. It turned out to be a very lively place with great live music and above all excellent service and great food. I was keen on getting the beautifully described pork chop which comes with garlic mashed potatoes - and I truly hate the taste of garlic. So, rather than selecting something else I asked if I could get this dish without garlic and the restaurant manager came over no less than three times to make sure I can get this dish in s way that's good for me. That's the kind of dedication to the customer service that will bring me over when we're in the neighborhood again! They also added fries, just in case I didn't find the rice they substituted for the mashed potatoes not perfect. Wow! And the food was really good, too!
Robert Z — Google review
Went to check this place out after an Easter Sunday Hike in Fredericksburg.. thank goodness they were open.. My bf and I both got their double smashed burgers.. one with truffle fries and the other their cucumber salad.. when we got our food, they gave us regular fries instead of truffle.. we told our waitress and she brought us an order of truffle fries.. so that was cool.. burgers were average but their truffle fries and cucumber salad were delicious!! For appetizer we got the grilled shishito peppers and okra.. what a great combo, however, both could have been cooked and grilled more..
Achelle F — Google review
Came in for lunch and the place was buzzing—not an empty table in sight—but service was still really great, we didn’t wait long for anything. Our server was a total gem: kind, menu-savvy, and rocking the kind of smile that makes you instantly feel welcome. Major shoutout to the GM, Josh, who somehow managed to stop by every table (including ours!) to check in. That kind of hands-on leadership is rare and made the whole vibe feel personal. He also recommend the Wimberly Way cocktail and he was spot on because that was so yummy! Now the food—wow. The Charred Shishito Peppers & Okra were smoky, tangy, and absolutely addictive (yes, I begged for extra sauce). My WTX salmon Power Bowl with shrimp on the side was fresh, colorful, and almost too pretty to eat… almost. And the truffle fries? I know you see those- Don’t even think about leaving without them—crispy, cheesy, truffle-y heaven in a basket.
Felicia H — Google review
Cute place. Variety of seating options. Grilled chicken sandwich was good size with delicious french fries. The wedge salad was just a salad with little blue cheese crumbles. Not really a wedge. Marg was tasty in rock glass TX style.
Michelle S — Google review
We tried this spot for the first time and absolutely loved it! We followed other diners’ advice and ordered the fried green tomatoes, so good! The tomatoes were fresh and firm with a perfectly crispy crust and a tasty caper sauce; I did miss the crab that usually comes with it, and it could’ve used just a tad more salt, but I’d still order it again. The beet salad appetizer was also super yummy, you really can’t go wrong with goat cheese and arugula! The restaurant itself is beautiful, all the windows and doors open up, so it feels like you’re dining in a giant treehouse surrounded by nature. Even without live music, the whole atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. Our server, Hayden, was awesome! Super attentive, made great recommendations, and even made our cocktails himself. Hayden is the best!!! All around, great vibe, can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
Krista M — Google review
What a fun, vibrant spot! The menu has a small variety of both unique and common dishes. We tried the shishito peppers and okra and I liked them a lot! For entrees we had the WTX power bowl with shrimp and the blackened fish tacos. I loved the tacos a ton! And the bowl was also fantastic! Everything cooked well and service was friendly and fast! Nice open air seating and live music playing! Would come again for sure!

Thanks to a project estimate in the area, we got to visit this restaurant. My wife and I decided to eat here for dinner. She had the chicken fried steak, I went with the liver and onions. Both dishes were good. Definitely a place we’d return to, whether for work or just to enjoy a meal.

Wimberley Café is a delightful spot that embodies the charm of Southern hospitality and comfort food. Known for its warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly service, it’s a favorite among locals and it became a favorite for us! One of the standout dishes is their Chicken Fried Chicken Dinner. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, served hot and fresh. Paired with classic sides like mashed potatoes and green beans, it’s a hearty meal that satisfies. I recommend sharing it! The staff at Wimberley Café are attentive and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. We’ll def be back next time we are in Wimberley!

Best chicken fried steak, ever. We spent the weekend in Wimberly with a group of friends and on the last day we ate here for breakfast. The food was amazing. Literally, best chicken fried steak. We also had the Migas, which was great bc you can order just a half order and it was just enough for one person. Two of our friends got the chicken and waffles and they were very impressed. Our waitress was also so good! High recommend.

Excellent food and excellent atmosphere. I had the chicken fried chicken for lunch and chicken fried steak for dinner and both were amazing! You could tell they were homemade and prepared well! Very good portions and good pricing. The service was friendly and food was prepared quickly. I sat outside since it was nice weather but they have inside seating as well. Definitely recommend and will visit again when I go back

Restaurant
Chill's On The Creek, previously known as Inoz, is a laid-back American bar and grill nestled in a picturesque creekside setting. With a spacious deck area and live music, it offers a serene spot to unwind Wimberley style. The restaurant boasts picnic tables and stunning creek views, making it perfect for nature lovers. Its relaxed atmosphere makes it ideal for large groups to gather and enjoy delicious American dishes in an outdoor space that feels like a neighbor's backyard BBQ.
Food: Mahi Tacos with Cajun vinaigrette coleslaw. Fried shrimp with hush puppies. Tacos were good. Fish was cooked well, addition of rice to the taco was interesting. Coleslaw was light of the vinegar punch, but light and refreshing. Shrimp was breaded nicely, not overdone. Hush puppies were of the standard fare. Service: We were seated quickly and given menus. Server was attentive without hovering. Food came out quicker than expected. Atmosphere: We sat inside. There was outdoor seating available, but we were looking to cool off after the zipline tour. Standard high top, only two other tables were occupied so it was nice and quiet. Nothing detracting but nothing of note either.

We’re visiting and everything was great except our main food took an hour to arrive. The area is nice with different levels of outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed. Our waitress was great. She brought out our appetizer, pickle fries, quickly. It was pretty good. Then we waited an hour for our beef pepper steak, crawfish etouffee, and fried shrimp to come. All of their food was delicious. They have heaters and turned it on for us after we requested it.
Emy A — Google review
My main complaint were all the dang flies flying around sitting INSIDE while trying to enjoy what we could during our experience. The location is in a neat spot at least. We attempted to eat here Friday night at around 7 and were told there was an hr wait so we got on a waitlist but also looked elsewhere to eat. We got a text 1.5 hrs later that our table was ready but we had already eaten and back to our AirBnB by that time. When we got there Sat at around 5, there was no wait. The food we ordered were just ok. Out of everything we ate, the boudin balls were the best tasting. I ordered the Cajun pig sandwich, again, just ok. It may have been how I read the description, but I did not expect raw chopped onions in the sandwich. Had they been sautéed or grilled, I’d kept them on. That’s just my preference though. Also ordered 2 cookies towards the end (and before we asked for the check cuz it said it needed time to bake), and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. For almost a $3 cookie, I’d expect something a whole lot bigger rather than something that fits the size of my palm. Waited even longer because we were told one of the cookies broke and had to bake another. I even told our server to box it up anyways cuz in the end it was gonna get eaten regardless. Now, if it had fell to the floor then I understand the wait. This restaurant wouldn’t be my top choices to pick or recommend when visiting Wimberley.
Lyndsey M — Google review
We had a party of 6 and we were seated on the patio. Initially, things were going well. After placing our order I was reading the dessert menu and noticed that they had a chocolate chunk cookie. The description says that it takes a little time because they're prepared fresh, so place your order early. When the server brought our drinks i placed the order for the cookie. While she was clearing the plates i asked about the cookie. She said that she would check on it. When she returned with the check, which INCLUDED AN 18% GRATUITY, she said it's not ready yet because their oven is "running slow". She said it would only be about 15 minutes. 45 MINUTES AFTER PAYING THE CHECK some semi-management looking guy comes to the table and apologized. He assured us that the cookie was only about 15 minutes away. He said our cookies would be free because of the wait as he was walking away, leaving us all confused because we had already paid for it. Needless to say, I was angry. It was hot, our drinks were empty and no longer being refilled. Finally AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER PAYING THE CHECK the man came to the table and said something like "this is the best cookie in the world!" He promptly dropped the box on the table and ran away. I thought maybe there was more than one because he said or cookies (plural) were on the house after we had already paid. When i opened the box and saw this $4 cookie, I literally had the urge to throw the box at the back of his head. This is the cookie that we my party of 6 paid $4 and had to sit on the hot patio for an hour and a half with no drink refills because we had already paid. Don't go. The service was terrible. It was bad enough to run my afternoon. Just don't go.
Monica U — Google review
The place didn't seem very busy on the Saturday that we went but we still had a 20-minute wait before we were sat. Our table ended up being a high table in the bar area and all of the chairs were very wobbly and uneven due to the tile floor. I did notice two or three other open tables when we got inside so I was wondering why the wait was so long? The server was great and friendly but the wait for the food seemed a little bit longer than we typically wait at other restaurants. The potato skins were very dry and the hamburger might have been the saltiest burger I've ever eaten. Maybe not "salty", but just lots of seasoning or seasoned salt or something? Man, all the bread in the world would not get that burger back to normal levels. My buddy's burger was the same way. Overall, the place seemed pretty decent with inside and outside seating but the inside seating was very limited unless there was some other room that I didn't see. There's a small playground and overall the place might look nicer at night because I did notice string lights hanging from the trees. The bathroom was also very nicely decorated. For the four of us, all ordering hamburgers or potato skins, the bill ended up being over $100 with tip which I thought was excessive. Probably won't visit this place again but glad we can check it off the list.

We went for breakfast on a Tuesday and we were the only table at 8am. The avocado toast was delicious and the perfect portion. Our server was friendly and cheerful, but maybe a little distracted with opening chores. We sat on the deck and watched some deer across the creek. I really love the atmosphere of Chill

New favorite spot in Wimberly. Great food along Cypress Creek. Play area for the kiddos. Beautiful scenery while enjoying a fantastic meal. Started with the fried portobello mushroom. I had the Mahi Mahi covered in crawfish etouffee, followed by bread pudding. Family members loved their meals. We will definitely be back!

Ill start by saying the outdoor atmosphere was great. The patio seating is nice and they have a great play area for kids. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. Unfortunately, the food was not worth it. My husband and I both ordered tacos. It did take longer than a standard wait for the food, but the menu made everything sound so good and homemade, we thought it would be worth it. No. My Buffalo tacos (2 of them) that were a little more than 16 dollars consisted of a flour tortilla (not warm at all) topped with preshedded lettuce (the kind you get in a bag at Heb) 2 cherry tomatos sliced in half, 1 chicken tender that may have been drizzled with mild buffalo sauce but was still very dry, and a square of half melted cheese. The side of ranch tasted like it had been watered down with milk, and the coleslaw had zero flavor. My husband's tacos were the same. My daughter ordered French fries and they were the best tasting item on our table. A 62 dollar bill for 2 sweet teas, 2 kids meals, and 2 entres that consisted of a total of 4 tacos (that were awful) and some coleslaw. Not worth it at all. We wont be back, which is sad because we did really enjoy the atmosphere.

Kelly’s Hill Country Barbeque is a food trailer located in Wimberley, Texas, established by local Kelly Evers. Despite downsizing from his previous establishment due to the pandemic, Kelly's expertise shines through in the tender brisket, pork ribs, and turkey sandwiches. The weekends offer special treats like chicken wings and pork belly specials that pair perfectly with their apple-pecan cole slaw. The focus at Kelly’s is all about the authentic Central Texas barbecue experience.
I'm not a beef person and got the turkey tacos. My god they are smokey, moist, and delicious! They've now become my favorite. Two corn/flour tortillas stuffed with chopped BBQ turkey breast, a mild white cheese, drizzled with a tasty sauce, and cilantro sprinkled, along with a lime wedge to punch up the flavor! Good food and friendly service!
Ed M — Google review
Seriously delicious food and excellent friendly service!! The turkey sandwich is absolutely the best turkey sandwich I’ve had in a long time!! Enjoyed their sides of Apple Pecan Coleslaw and Watermelon Cucumber salad. We also really enjoyed the Brisket Mac & Cheese and pulled pork on the side. We will definitely be back when we visit Wimberley again. Probably will be sooner than later-hello turkey sandwich!!
C J — Google review
Elegance and comfort aren’t on the menu here—just incredible BBQ. You won’t find the best Texas barbecue in a sit-down joint with air conditioning and cushy seating. You’ll find it in trailers like this one: tucked away, open until they run out, and built around the basics. Paper napkins on a roll. Weather-worn picnic tables. No intercom system or ticket numbers—just someone yelling your name when your food’s ready. Stay close; the picnic tables are out of earshot. For the full experience, pull up in a truck and drop the tailgate. The turkey and brisket are moist, full of flavor, and crusted with pepper in a way that makes you instantly want more. The prices? Low enough to encourage indulgence. Don’t skip the apple pecan coleslaw—even if it means cheating on your carnivore diet. At $9 for two, the tacos are priced like gas station fare—but made with ingredients fit for royalty. Brisket, rich adobo cream sauce, cilantro, lime, and queso fresco, all tucked into a corn/flour blend tortilla—this is a divine concept that deserves praise. This spot is easily worth an hour’s drive. So saddle up, bring the dog and the family, and get there before they sell out.

Great BBQ in Wimberley TX. Saw the sign in passing to my destination and drove back about 30 minutes to try it. When I tell you I am so glad I drove back man. The ribs and brisket were both so juicy and flavorful. The ribs literally fell off the bone. I got the brussel sprouts and potato salad as my sides since they were already sold out of the Mac and cheese. The Brussels were a bit on the sweet side for me but were still yummy. The potato salad was fresh and had nice flavor. If I’m ever in Wimberley again I will be sure to stop by Kelly’s again. So good!
Jazmine S — Google review
I have got to say that this is my favorite incarnation of Kelly's BBQ. The owner/team have been in various locals/facilities/versions over the years and his mastery of the art of BBQ has reached a phenomenal height. I have to say that he/they have gotten to the excellent category. Not only that but what I love is the enthusiasm & customer focus of the crew when they serve you. That's a sign of a well engaged and well led team. Well done to all the folks in that food truck dishing out wonderful food. I have been there several times and I am unashamed in saying I'm addicted to the Wimbo. Long ago I switched my BBQ sampling technique. I now go with whatever bbq mixed sandwich and I'm able to sample everything a place has without going into a food coma. The Wimbo is a GINORMOUS mix of brisket and sausage with their sauce. What else can I want? Or better, what else can I consume?? It is a lot of food and I've already raved at how good it is. Pro-Tip: The parking gets wonky as everyone tries to dive into the first spot. The way the horseshoe lot is designed is that you first have to drive thru the crowds waiting for food, so just be careful and weave thru them. Plenty of parking beyond the food!
Grouse K — Google review
Excellent first experience at Kelly’s. The brisket was really good. Perfectly cooked and retained a nice saltiness. The jalapeño sausage had just the right amount of spice and the ribs were well cooked with a welcomed hint of sweetness. The Cole slaw is very unique and delicious. Highly recommended. Banana pudding hit the spot for dessert too. I’ll definitely be returning.

Nestled in the picturesque town of Wimberley, Blanco Brew is a charming cafe that opened its doors in 2019. This cozy spot combines an organic coffee roaster with the culinary expertise of a French-trained chef, offering a delectable array of treats and 100% organic coffee sourced from various corners of the globe.
My partner and I stopped by Blanco Brew while exploring Wimberley, and we were so glad we did! The vibe here is exactly what you want in a local coffee shop—cozy, casual, and welcoming. We both got cold brews, and they were spot on: smooth, strong, and refreshing without any bitterness. You can tell they care about their coffee. The space itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and natural light. It’s the kind of place where you could hang out for a while, catch up with a friend, or get some work done. Plus, the staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to next time we’re in town!

I love the atmosphere. Very chill and has that total chill vibe. Smoothie was just OK. I went for the sunshine smoothie. Nothing natural. Concentrate orange juice and pineapple juice with a blend of whatever else. I did however enjoy the jumbo peanut butter cookie! We may come back for coffee as we are just visitors, passing through town staying in a couple of nights. But other than that, it wasn’t memorable.

I've been here before, many years ago.. I got some stuff to go and went on about my business.. Fast forward to this past Saturday.. passing through on our way to Old Baldy from Blue Hole.. This visit, however, was less than good.. I don't understand how people order and not make them immediately (kinda expected bc cashier yelled out our smoothie orders as we were paying.. I mean, we put in our 2 order of smoothies and 2 pastries, and about 4 other people ordered after us, and all got their orders first.. when I asked my bf where our stuff is, he said, oh they're just now making it.. Enough said.. not a fan of this type of service.. anywhere.. we were looking at shirts and wanted to purchase a few (we're visiting from out of town) and decided not to..

This place is super busy in the mornings! Service is fast and friendly though. They have a single origin barrel aged cold brew that’s absolutely delicious and one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere! I don’t often come across barrel aged beans and I’m so happy that I did because it’s quickly become one of my favorites!

Dairy Queen is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in soft-serve ice cream and signature shakes, making it a go-to spot for dessert lovers. Alongside their sweet treats, they offer classic burger and fries options that are sure to satisfy any craving. Many visitors have praised the freshness of the food and the cleanliness of the facilities, including restrooms.
The food was fresh. The facilities were clean, including the restroom. I had the best customer service at a DQ thanks to Jeff, who was very friendly and helpful.

Food here is good, but if I had to say one EXTREME downside, is the woman named Janet which I believe to be the assistant manager. I have witnessed on occasion her screaming at employees and making the over all atmosphere less enjoyable. Also, she has a nasty attitude when responding to customers. She, in my opinion, is completely unprofessional and drives customers away from what I’ve seen from some of the other reviews. Her attitude is planting my decision to never come back to this establishment. I hope you take my words into consideration.
Sapphire — Google review
We had a wild hair this evening to go grab some good old DQ. I have to say this will probably be the last time anyone at my family graces a Dairy Queen again in our lifetimes let alone and certainly not this location. Bun was stale and falling apart. The patties are charred crispy and dry. It is absolutely disgusting. We were going to get blizzards for the road but we will certainly be forgoing that for a stop at the gas station for ice cream bars. Another American institution down the toilet.
Matt C — Google review
I ordered a blizzard to go and they forgot the toppings. Went back the next day and were wonderful! They replaced for free. Everyone was just amazing!

Good patty melt. The cheese burger 🍔 was a tad dry but still good! The fries are delicious. Chicken tender basket was apparently awesome 👌 👏

When we walked in the line was long, I was surprised that there was only 1 person at the register, we found out his name was Tyler. He did amazing handling the chaos, despite the fact that he was the only one working the front, kept being asked to stock the cups and cones, and complete the orders he was taking. He was doing the jobs of 3 workers and did it well. His persistence and work ethic was impressive! If it wasn’t for Tylers hard work I am sure many people wouldn’t have even ordered or waited in line.
Rebecca M — Google review
Not a single table was wiped down. Soda machine must not be properly maintained. Burger was well done but cheese wasn't even melted. Let's be honest though, ice cream is usually why you go there though. :) I remember when DQ Wimberley was a well taken care of establishment. Would just be nice to see that again.

Pizza Takeout
Pizza Hut is a well-known chain that offers delivery, carry-out, and dine-in options for pizza, wings, and pasta along with sides and desserts. Customers have reported quick delivery times with piping hot food arriving earlier than expected. The staff is described as courteous and friendly, always providing excellent service. Many customers praise the quality of the pizza they receive, often mentioning the generous toppings and delicious flavors.
This is an old school dine in Pizza Hut, kind of rare nowadays. The pizza was pretty standard for Pizza Hut but the wings were awesome. Pizza Hut wings are kind of a sleeper, way better than you think they would be at a chain faster food joint. They were big and had plenty of sauce. The lady who helped me knew her regulars well and was very friendly. I love when certain locations of chain restaurants shine like this one did. It just goes to show that even with the exact same food, a place can be better than it's peers.
Sunny B — Google review
What is this exactly. I got a dough ball pizza. Tossed the entire thing. No ranch which was ordered. No marinara, which was ordered. Glad you can waste my money to make a profit. If it’s happened to me this many times, it’s happened to a bunch of other people. You lost my business. Thanks for the form letter. You’ve now lost my business forever. You keep saying that you want to make this right. Don’t waste my time. You’re a franchise that can’t make a pizza. The onus is on you. You’ve got enough information about me. Credit card information etc. email info? No one from your store has contacted me. That tells me something. Ya basically don’t care.

Ordered pizzas for a birthday party - the young lady who took the order the night before, was very courteous and informative. When we arrived the next day for pickup, the pizzas were ready right on time. This was the best pizza I have had in a really long time! One of the few places that still has a dining room and it was nice a spacious if you would want to dine in. Thank you to the crew for a great meal!

The pizza was really good, and the service was extremely fast. I’m not sure why there are all these low star reviews. We ordered a pizza on August 22 and it was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. I haven’t eaten in Pizza Hut in maybe 10 years, but I’m back to being a customer after today’s experience. Well done Pizza Hut Wimberly.

So I came here with my boyfriend after we got done running errands. We were starving so we got 2 pizzas AND breadsticks. Excited to eat, we unpacked it once at home. I went for the breadsticks first, to my surprise they were black. I mean black. I saved them for a whole week to bring and show the manager because I was in utter shock that between the 5 people working that night (maybe 7pm,) they all sent it out and no one said anything. I have never seen such burnt breadsticks in my life and I used to work at a pizza hut..
Jaycie W — Google review
Food was not ready on time, which is fine. I was patient and waited. But then when I asked for crushed red pepper to go with my $40 order, they said it’s an extra charge. Never had a Pizza Hut or any pizza place charge for crushed red pepper or cheese. This was after I tipped in the app.

Fantastic Customer Service and a Memorable Wedding Experience! Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Pizza Hut in Wimberley after my cousin's wedding, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! When all the other restaurants were closed, Pizza Hut came through for us like a shining star. Not only did they save the day, but they also provided exceptional customer service that made our night truly special. Initially, we were a little concerned that our post-wedding celebration would be lacking without a traditional sit-down dinner venue. However, our worries quickly vanished as soon as we stepped foot into this buzzing Pizza Hut location. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. They efficiently accommodated our large group and ensured we had everything we needed to make it an unforgettable evening. The customer service at Pizza Hut Wimberley exceeded all expectations. The attentive servers catered to our every request, going above and beyond to make sure our pizzas were prepared to perfection. They were patient, friendly, and incredibly professional, creating an enjoyable and stress-free environment for our post-wedding celebration. What really amazed us was the efficient service despite the large crowd. Even though the restaurant was busy, our orders were taken promptly, and we didn't have to wait long for our delicious pizzas. The pizzas themselves were fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. Each slice was a heavenly delight, crafted to perfection with high-quality ingredients that left us craving for more. Furthermore, the ambiance of the place was vibrant and lively. The cheerful chatter, laughter, and joyous atmosphere added to the overall celebratory vibe of our evening. It felt like our own private party in Pizza Hut, and the memories we made there will forever hold a special place in our hearts. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional service and scrumptious food we enjoyed. Pizza Hut Wimberley undoubtedly provided great value for our money, ensuring our post-wedding celebration remained within budget without compromising on taste or experience. In conclusion, Pizza Hut in Wimberley truly turned our after-wedding celebration into an unforgettable experience. Their outstanding customer service, delicious pizzas, and vibrant ambiance created an atmosphere filled with joy and laughter. I wholeheartedly recommend Pizza Hut Wimberley to anyone looking for a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions or simply satisfy their pizza cravings. They deserve all five stars and more! Thank you, Pizza Hut Wimberley, for making our night spectacular! Sincerely, Alfio Veasey

Subway is a casual counter-serve chain known for its build-your-own sandwiches and salads, offering health-conscious options. Recent experiences indicate an improvement in food quality and service, with fresher ingredients and friendlier staff noted during visits. Customers have observed positive changes in the overall experience, attributing it to the amiable staff and effective management. These developments suggest a step in the right direction for Subway's offerings and customer service.
I’m convinced this is the slowest subway on the planet. Be prepared to be here 10 times longer than you expected even if there’s only 2 people in front of you. Nothings ever ready. Disappearing to cut or refill things constantly or just out of most things when there is only one person here. Two if you’re lucky. Someone fix this. Thanks. Edit: employee is so nice and left here all alone with 15 people in line. 15 people!! Labor issues? Whoever owns this franchise should be ashamed. Your customers are pissed and your employees are miserable. Do you not like money? It’s slammed and people are leaving because they can’t wait this long.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! No flatbread. STALE white bread. Deli counter was gross almost afraid to eat. The container of tomatoes was near empty so he reached for new one in fridge and put it on top of the empty one. GROSS. Only one employee. Had some HS kid in dining area put out more cups for him. The white prep board were so nasty around the edges. JUST YUCK. Didn't even smell like a fresh Subway. Won't be back.

Went into the shop and the individual behind the counter was rude. No bread and was just rude. Whomever owns the place needs to fire that person or just close their shop seeing they have no clue about customer service and how to run a business. Oh, as for that person telling me how he was a Dasher in the past, well I can see why you no longer do it for a living.
Bruce C — Google review
Went an hour and a half before closing hours to find a locked door. The lights were still on, and there was an employee car parked outside. Literally just wanted to order a sandwich and take it home.
Nathan W — Google review
Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had at a Subway. I ordered a Turkey, bacon, and guacamole wrap. It was made without any care whatsoever. Sandwich artist turned sandwich assassin. 4 pieces of turkey, roughly 15 shreds of cheese, and a satisfactory amount of guacamole. They must have had this in abundance because the "sandwich artist" even gave me a little more on the paper wrapping. And finally, no receipt even after asking for one.
G R — Google review
It has been over a year since I ordered food here. After the last time I swore I would not eat there again. I figured I would give them another try. Service was Ok, place not real organized or clean. The veggies, meat and cheese were ok but the bread was stale and so hard that I only ate the insides and threw the bread away. Plus I had ordered whole wheat and it was white. I am done with Subway in Wimberley.
Tom B — Google review
Please just go out of business already. Today’s experience was no wheat bread, no tea was made today, no ice and bread was sitting on top of the counter for customers to cough on while getting their sandwich made. God knows what other corners you are cutting with proper food prep and storage.
