The 10 best breakfast and brunch in Cobham

Visited Fego in Cobham on a Saturday morning around 11am before a visit to nearby Painshill Park. The food was tasty and the french toast with roasted pineapple (pictured) was particularly unique. But the service was quite slow, hence the deduction of a star. We weren't in a rush, but it was around 40+ minutes until we received food and we had to ask 3 times for our bill once done. However - it was a summer weekend morning and the place was busy. So while the waits were perhaps understandable, they didn't make for the smoothest experience.

Really nice vibe here – the place looks great and has a cosy atmosphere. It does get pretty busy, so service can be a bit slow at times, but that’s kind of expected. The food’s solid overall. The Ranchero from the breakfast menu is definitely the standout – so good! Tried the wraps at lunch too, and they were tasty. Worth checking out if you don’t mind a bit of a wait.

A bit of a wait to get in, but likely due to its popularity, which is understandable! The food is varied but great quality and clearly made with care and love. I couldn't recommend Fego enough as a place to go.

Best French toast that I’ve had!! 🤤🤤it was tasty, creative and beautifully done! Staff are so polite and they genuinely care. Prices are very reasonable. Coffee is great. Worth a visit and we will certainly return

This was our first time visiting Fego after receiving many recommendations. Upon arrival we were ignored by staff when waiting for a table despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Staff walked past us without acknowledging we were there, not even a simple hello. It took us to walk into the restaurant 10 minutes later to get attention for a table. Despite this unimpressive start, the food and drink was immaculate. The coffee’s were perfect and so were the breakfasts!! If the service was friendlier it would have been a 10/10 experience.

The service and cuisine were exceptional. The restaurant's ambiance was delightful. I highly recommend it. The coffee here is exquisite and smooth. The location is charming.

Very disappointed that this cafe advertises as plant based (literally says on the menu 'our plant based kitchen') but serves dairy & eggs in almost every dish?? I went here because it initially looked like it was very vegan friendly but upon arrival there was hardly anything I could have. To make it worse I asked the waitress if, seeing as the menu stated it was a 'plant based kitchen', my breakfast could be substituted with plant based options to replace the egg & cheese that came with the option I fancied (which was a hash brown bun). Waitress went off to ask then came back & said no, there's nothing we can offer to replace those items, you'll just have to have the dish without those 2 items. So, I paid the same (quite expensive) price for a breakfast that had 2 items missing. Absolutely baffled me... Why advertise as a plant based kitchen?? Clearly you're not. Very disappointing. If you're vegan, perhaps find somewhere else to eat.

Nice selection of juices/smoothies. Yet to try their food but it looks nice. Outdoor seating is lovely and it's a real sun trap.

The best vegan place in the area! I was so surprised to find such a good quality place in Cobham since it’s a small town, but the range of food is more than satisfying 😍 Five starts for you guys! Best vegan porridge Best avocado toast And the best oatmeal cappuccino 😊👌🏻

We love the Juice Smith! We went for lunch few days ago for the first time and we were very impressed with the service. If you like super healthy, well prepared food and absolutely amazing juices, this is the place to go. Their deserts are not to be missed either. Thank you for being so accommodating with our one year old. We will be back soon!

Absolutely lovely food , roast and full English both quite tasty. Blueberry smoothy was epic ! Chock browney also double yummy ! Will be going back ! Waffles not bad ether :)

Stopped here for coffee and a bacon roll and was not disappointed. Set off the road with the woodlands behind this is a great place to stop for a snack and a walk.

Great little friendly cafe with easy parking and toilets. Because of the roadworks, it takes a bit more effort to get there at the moment, but it's worth the detour. Please support the small business, it's a lot cheaper, calmer and friendlier than a motorway service area!

Stopped here for an ice cream and a drink on a nice walk. Was worried it may no longer be open due to all the junction 10 roadworks but it was and it was a very welcome break in the walk.

Just off the A3 and so much better than a motorway service station.

We’ve been stopping here for years whilst my daughter was at uni to grab a snack. So after a few years of not travelling this way, we were glad to see the cabin still open even if there are terrible road works. Wonderful friendly staff, very knowledgeable about the Heath land and the burgers are tasty, cooked fresh and hot. Love their food. Cakes are homemade. Cherry Victoria sponge and apple/cinnamon cake. Just yummy!!!!

Easy to miss but worth the stop. This is a great little cafe, friendly service, always with a smile and decent food at an affordable price. We often use this as a meeting place before heading out on the bikes. Sausage baps are always a winner. Stunning scenery.

Stunning location, with gorgeous views across the lake and golf course. We popped in on our way back from a day trip and were pleasantly surprised that, even though it was a sunny Saturday evening, there was so much space to sit by the lake and enjoy a nice meal outside. Its not as expensive as we thought it would be either, we paid £15ish each for a meal, which isn't bad at all for the quality and overall location. Service was fast and friendly. No specific dress code and just a very chilled vibe.

Excellent overall experience, plenty of seating. You can also book a table to make sure. I sat outside next to the lake. There are umbrellas with heaters if you decide to go in the winter. The steak was great and the brownie desert was also just as good. Great location and great overall experience.

Absolutely superb. We came for a Birthday party and it was our first visit. All of the staff are so kind and helpful. Lana is amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect. We sat outside and the location is wonderful. Gluten free and vegan needs are met. Free parking. Honestly, try this place!

My family recently held the Wake of our dear Mother at Silvermere Inn On The Lake. They were extremely compassionate and helpful and provided an excellent service even going above and beyond, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was soothing and calming with picturesque views of the Lake and White Swans in the background. Went for lunch whilst picking up my new set of clubs. It wasn’t bad but definitely not the best . Some of the dishes were quite good like the hummus and bangers and mash but the Hotpot was really bad , seemed to have been in the pot too long , the meat was tough and the sauce .. can’t quite describe it .. it wouldn’t be a place of choice to have lunch again ….

It is a very nice place, beautiful if you can sit outside on a warm day. Good coffee too

Beautiful hidden restaurant in the golf course, open to the public. Only found as our original restaurant was cancelled. The outside seating is lovely & serene - the lake makes for a gorgeous view. The peach & goat's cheese salad was delicious, portion size was filling. The chicken florentine was a nice portion, but was quite dry - I has to request more sauce. Staff were attentive & enquired if all was ok. Would like to go back & try more on the menu. The wedding on that day was lovely too - congratulations!. I did have a lovely video of the venue but no option to attach it!. All in all a good lunch in nice surroundings.

We took our school club of 30 children to this McDonald's for lunch on Wednesday 28th oct 2025. Vrutti, one of the McDonald's staff member made this experience absolutely amazing. She got all of the orders correct , she was patient, polite and calm. Vrutti also reserved a suitable space for the children to have an enjoyable lunch. We are really appreciative of Vrutti’s fantastic customer service.

Unfortunately it was a late night stop, the venue was full of loud kids, throwing food and drinks, the bin was overflowing, there seemed to be a distinct lack of staff doing anything. We only waited over 30 mins for the not so fast food only to be given stone cold chips and the wrong order. Really not a pleasurable experience so a very poorly rating for this one. The only positive was the poor young lad who gave me the cold food couldn't be any more apologetic when he got it back and to be honest looked broken. Avoid in the evening as they were clearly understaffed.

This used to be a good McDonald's. We were served by two black lads and they could not have been more rude. No hello's, no courtesy, no acknowledgement whatsoever, they stood openly swearing with each other while my children were in the car and said nothing once they handed us the food. I don't expect much but this was absolutely disgusting service and a disgrace.

Ordered 2 burger meals. Service very slow. Both burgers stone-cold, buns dry and hard round the edges, fairly good helping of fries.... but sadly also very cold. I wish KFC had been open.... I'm sure they would have been far better... couldn't be worse!

Tall worker was clearly high, All chatting away not pushing out orders in good time waiting 6 min for 2 frappe was too bothered to make orders, would take order on till but stand and make food slower than a snail. Girl was just moping the floor over and over again talking to him, no apology for the wait, as a worker in hospitality in services industry it was appalling.

Unfortunately worst McDonalds been too. Waited so long for order and had to check where it was. Food not as good and husband had bad stomach once back home! There were flies around some seats and tables in the seating area. Wish we had not bothered tbh👎

McDoubtfuls might be for some but, honestly, it's not the McDonalds I remember as a child growing up. Which is sad as the Big Macs used to be big, the salad crisp and the fries not so salty. As for the milkshake, just to thick and lacking in flavour. Wind back your service, by 35 - 40 years guys and you'll get 5 stars from me!!

This place does NOT exist. The Starbucks on this site has been closed since August 2022. A branch of Joe & The Juice has now been open here for some time. Google doesn't seem to believe this for some bizarre reason.

Poor service forgot to add Carmel in my coffee. That's not all I ask for cappuccino and was given latte. Why not learn about coffee first...☹️ Bad....

Pathetic, particularly one young member of staff! Refused to serve an iced latte without ice, claimed it was company policy even though I ordered on the app! Starbucks surely you can get better stafff

We arrived before 5pm, it closes at 6pm. More than half the seating was closed off; the seating which was available was dirty and unwelcoming. A small tea was soooo milky that another had to be made. They complained that we asked to sit in a clean but closed spot. This is so different from the Starbucks in Weybridge. We would think thrice before returning. Do they want clients?

This place has gone down hill since all the Muppets that worked over the road in Costa moved in... no sugar for 5 days! No wooden spoons and now the dishwasher is always broken and I can't have my daily sit down coffee in a mug because no one knows how-to wash up by *^#king hand. On the flip side Costa has better staff now.

No issue with the coffee. Just as average as always. The staff, however, are rude, preferring to talk to each other, than their customers. I only visit this particular location around 0630, so maybe they are not morning people. One particular barista does have trouble remembering what she was told one minute earlier, too. She also has the worst attitude...

Popped in yesterday 22/10 afternoon with a friend visiting from far, walked in a dirty shop and not at all professional staff. The two girls were not paying attention to the clients, were talking to themselves and worst thing, I was given a normal milk pumpkin seed latte instead of the soya one I ordered giving me tummy ache in the hours later. My friend ordered a cappuccino and he said it was the worst he's ever had, it was watery with very little coffee and isn't cappuccino meant to have creamy milk on top? I have been a client for quite a while and the quality of the service has drastically worsened lately. NOT IMPRESSED.

I was so looking forward to trying this company, when I finally did, disappointment is an understatement. The vegan burger was lukewarm, the cheese dry and crispy, the lettuce was also dry and the bun was so crispy it was falling apart. For the price I thought the quality would be better.

I love LEON food and always go for LEON. This restaurant in this location lacked an operations manager. The order screens did not work and staff did not deal with this. Staff were busy and not friendly or smily. Tables were dirty. It was around 1pm on a Saturday so a busy time but one member on staff should rotate and check the restaurant. My food was great. Some of the fries had a black big in them but the burger was absolutely perfect. I would hate this brand to fail in future due to lack of staff and attention to details in operations.

Stopped here for lunch on our way home expecting quality food. The service was slow, the food we received was lukewarm at best and items were missing from the order. Thankfully we hadn't left so we were able to go back and ask for them. The seating area was disgraceful with tables looking like they hadn't been wiped down all morning. There was rubbish on tables and on the floor and the bins were overflowing with more piling up on top. The only redeeming quality was the cleanliness of the kitchen, staff were regularly cleaning work stations and washing their hands between preparing food.

Poor quality food. I expected better food given the price in comparison to other fast food restaurants here. The wrap was incredibly dry and had very little veg in. The hot honey is the worst I've had - you get better in a sachet for a Tesco pizza.

Our first time trying food from Leon, and it must be said it was rather enjoyable, the food was lovely, and not something I'd normally go for, but I shall be returning. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is the staff could have been a bit more helpful. A simple hello or enjoy your food goes a long way. Not simply pretty much being ignored, also not the fastest service so bare this in mind if you're in a rush. Room for improvement but food was top draw 👌

On my way back from a long journey, I picked up my first Leon; ordered a wrap, chicken nuggets and the chips. I got home to find out that the chips were not in there! As I ordered in person there is no way of getting a refund, so I’d recommend checking your order at this place

Visited Joe & The Juice Cobham on Saturday and had a truly disappointing experience. First of all, the scaffolding outside makes the place look completely uninviting — not what you’d expect from a supposedly premium juice bar. We still went in and spent £45 between a few juices and one latte, expecting at least decent service. Unfortunately, the young guy serving us was rude, unhelpful, and acted like he couldn’t care less. No care, no smile — we were rushed through like we were holding up a queue at a fast-food joint. For that kind of money, I expect more than a miserable attitude and an atmosphere that feels more like a construction site. Won’t be back.

Young Man Named Ramsey provided top notch service and was very kind and with positive energy! Served wonderful food and explained the whole menu nicely.

Poor customer service. Got my order wrong and when reported, the young girl pulled a face? I hope staff know they are not forced to work in customer service, if they do not want to. It wasn’t an issue that the order was wrong but to pull a face and display contempt is wrong. I chose not to cause a scene because I could tell the girl was around 18. Either way, unacceptable. First she put the wrong amount through to payment then displayed contempt when the order was wrong, embarrassing.

Absolutely ridiculous, the people that work here refuse to serve anyone at all, queue was nearly out of the door and they didn’t take an order for at least 15 minutes, in the end we gave up and ordered through the app, we were then given the juice after waiting another 15 minutes. Which makes absolutely no sense because why are you prioritising on app orders instead of the customers standing right in-front of you ? There was also a lady just waiting to buy a bag of coffee beans and it took them 15 minutes to let her pay for it? Absolute joke. Will never go back to this branch.

Lovely shop to enjoy juice and vegan treats. I highly recommend the vegan raw hazelnut chocolate slice. Decor is lovely and juices are delicious. Staff are friendly and kind.

Served rotten banana. If you look, you can tell it's not just overripe, downright rotten. Someone prepared this for me £13 this evening expecting me to ingest it. Absolutely horrifying hygiene standards, I wonder who they're employing.
