Layered is a trendy café and restaurant located on Virginia St. that offers a modern interior with eclectic furniture and chill vibes. The menu features an elevated selection of café fare and pastries, including coffee made from beans roasted in-house. The upscale cooking presents innovative takes on familiar breakfast and lunch dishes, with options like vegan hash available as well.
I really liked it here, it was rather busy but the staff was attentive and our food all came out at the same time. We also went on a weekend so prepare for a wait if you do not make reservations.

This cozy spot in downtown McKinney is a great place to grab a coffee or hot chocolate. They use rich coffee beans, and the coffee is top-notch. The food portions are generous, and the servers are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend trying the Nutella coconut toast—the coconut flakes are a unique and delicious addition. We dint like the red sauce on spicy chicken sandwich If you are vegetarian try vegan hash
Teju R — Google review
The service was fantastic, and she kept an eye on our refills! My caramel macchiato was amazing—I loved the taste, and I asked for it at room temperature, and it was perfect. I also ordered the “Migas,” which were a bit different from what I’m used to, but they were okay. I ate half of my plate, putting most of the corn chips aside. The sauce was delicious and really helped with the flavor of my migas. I think my friend enjoyed their meal too. I’m planning to come back and try something else on the menu, but definitely another caramel macchiato! I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, and it’s a great spot to wander around and shop or see the sights.

I recently visited Layered and decided to try their chicken sandwich. While the chicken itself was fried, I was disappointed to find that it was so drenched in sauce that it lost any semblance of the crispy texture I was hoping for. The amount of sauce was overwhelming. As for the homemade hot sauce, I had high expectations but it tasted strikingly similar to Tabasco sauce—spicy, yes, but lacking the unique depth or flavor I was hoping for. It is clear that the sauce was made in-house, but it didn’t offer the distinct or complex kick that I anticipated. To top it off, the meal cost $16, which felt a little steep for what was delivered. I also opted for the $2 tea, which unfortunately wasn’t great. I didn’t get the value I was hoping for. Everyone was friendly and helpful, I enjoyed the atmosphere, but I regretted my decision coming in on a whim for a bite.
My R — Google review
Such a Great Find! I was visiting the Dallas area and decided to check out Layered — and wow, I’m so glad I did! The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe the second you walk in. Everyone was so friendly and the service was amazing — our server was super sweet, checked on us often, and made great recommendations. The food was incredible! Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better. I honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The coffee was great too smooth and strong, just how I like it. You can tell they really care about the details here …from the food to the atmosphere to how they treat their guests. I left full, happy, and already planning to come back next time I’m in town. If you’re anywhere near Dallas or McKinney, do yourself a favor and stop by Layered. Totally worth it!
Cristina C — Google review
It was a nice place to stop in for breakfast. This was my third try. Usually, the wait is very long and it’s pretty claustrophobic. The spicy chicken sandwich had good flavor. The chicken was average.
Melody A — Google review
Service is always amazing and overall experience really good. My server Emely is always super nice and answers every one of my questions, while making sure my food and experience is being take care of. The Shakshuka and the steak n eggs are really good dishes along with they’re coffee options , again Emely has the best recommendations aswell. Overall Great restaurant!

One of the best coffee places around! Absolutely love their coffee menu - their food menu is a little small, but still good! Love the atmosphere, and the best part is they are a Speakeasy on certain nights - which is a lot of fun! Highly recommend this place for brunch or for a fun night!

Restaurant
Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen is a cozy eatery in McKinney, Texas that offers a delightful blend of New American cuisine with a Southern twist. The restaurant provides a comfortable dining experience and serves up an array of delectable dishes, along with cocktails, beer, and wine. It's known for its spacious and quiet ambiance that can easily accommodate large groups without compromising on quality.
Found this new place in downtown McKinney Tx. Great Menu and ambiance. Orders a short rib sandwich and Rib Eye tacos with a Cesar salad. Everything was delicious, the salad could be improved if it was served cold. Price right and excellent location parking available.
Alyta U — Google review
Ordered the sugarbacon, grilled cheese, and the steak and eggs. The sugarbacon was very tasty. I really liked the peach sambal. The grilled cheese sandwich was ok. The fries were breaded. They are not my favorite style of fries. The steak and eggs were not great at all. I ordered over easy, and half the yolk was overdone. The potatoes were good. The problem was the steak. I ordered medium. The steak came out rare to medium rare. It was tough, too. I had a hard time cutting my steak and a harder time chewing it. I also do not like being asked to cut my steak to check for temperature. I will say that their customer service is great. The manager quickly apologized for the low quality steak and did not charge me for it. In fact, he felt so bad about the experience he comped the entire meal, even though I asked him not to. The waitress was good, and we made sure to tip her properly. I did like the look and atmosphere of the place. The tables and menus were a bit sticky, though.
Santiago — Google review
From the moment we pulled up, Sugarbacon had a vibe. The lighting, the setup, and the dry-aged meat display at the front let us know we were in for something solid. Inside, the energy was warm and laid-back. It’s the kind of place that knows it’s good but doesn’t have to brag. The neon sign over the open kitchen, the booths, and the lighting all worked together perfectly. Let’s talk food. We went in hungry and left impressed. The Tomahawk Ribeye board was a beast in the best way. It was perfectly cooked, sliced, and served with a lineup of sauces that took it over the top. The Brussels sprouts were crispy with just the right tang. The meatballs over grits brought comfort food to a whole new level. The pan-seared fish was clean, flaky, and paired with mashed potatoes that didn’t need any help. Dessert came out with candles, and I appreciated the anniversary love. It was a thick chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberries and custard. Rich but not overly sweet. Shoutout to our server Tony. He was professional, personable, and made the whole experience better. Never had to ask twice for anything, and his timing was perfect. And here’s the kicker. The GM, Larry, came over to check in on us. We had a great conversation, tossed out a few ideas, and joked that we’d be back in a couple of weeks to see if he puts us on payroll. He laughed, but we’ll see. All around, this place delivered. It’s got the kind of energy and food that makes you want to come back before you even leave the parking lot

We had a great experience! The quality of the food was outstanding—from the perfectly cooked steak to the flavorful sides and the delicious dessert. What truly made the visit memorable, though, was the exceptional service provided by Lindsey. It wasn’t your typical waiter interaction; she was attentive, proactive, and genuinely warm. Her frequent check-ins and sincere smile made us feel truly welcome and at ease. Kudos to Lindsey for elevating the entire experience. Definitely a place we’ll remember and return to!

It’s been probably 10+ years since we were back at Sugarbacon and I wish we would have gone back sooner. We decided to stop for happy hour since we were up in McKinney and we are so glad we did. Who can beat a $4 old fashioned and $5 appetizers! Daniel, the bartender was very attentive and engaging and the manager even stopped by to say hello. A great place to enjoy happy hour 4-6pm or dinner. We will be returning again soon.
M B — Google review
Amazing food, service, atmosphere. The ribeye steak and southern linguine were both incredibly flavorful, and came out relatively fast. Hosts and server were polite and on top of things; it was busy when we walked in but we were seated almost immediately. As for the atmosphere, the establishment is aesthetically pleasing to be within. And please order the banana cake dessert. It is so worth it.

We are frequent visitors of Sugar Bacon. Every dish we have tried is amazing. The Proper Burger is the best burger I've ever had and the filet literally melts in your mouth. The General Manager, Larry, is always present and takes time to greet and talk with every guest he sees. The restaurant has a great mellow vibe and the staff is super friendly. We usually sit at the bar. The head bartender, Daniel, is always friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable and makes excellent recommendations. He also makes the best Old Fashioned in Texas!

I came here for dinner last night and then brunch this morning and had an incredible time on both meals. Got to meet and be helped by Daniel, incredibly personable and very attentive. Got the ribeye tacos and a wedge salad for dinner and then the yogurt parfait and potatoes and some eggs over medium and they were some of the best eggs I’ve had at a brunch spot in along time! Incredible service and atmosphere, I didn’t catch his name but the manager was also very personable and attentive.

The menu features fluffy pancakes, steaks and eggs, ranch chicken melt, Chorizo Benedict, Avocado toast, and fresh squeezed OJ at great prices.
Five of five stars. I had brunch with a friend at Eggquisite Café in McKinney, and it was such a great experience! The food was yummy, fresh, and full of flavor. The ambiance had a warm, welcoming vibe—perfect for a relaxing brunch catch-up. Our waiter was very attentive, checking in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a spot with good food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back to try more of their menu!

It was a pleasant experience. The food quality was decent, though not exceptional. While the quantity was generous, I found the dishes to be a bit heavy on potatoes as filler. If you're a potato lover, you might be in heaven, but I was hoping for a bit more protein in our dishes. Service was friendly and efficient, which definitely added to the positive experience.
Vijay U — Google review
First time eating at this location and it was not a great experience with service. Food was good but service was not. Our group was 3 adults and 1 child. We were walked to a table and waited to be seated while the hostess was grabbing additional chairs. The booth next to the table was open and I asked if we can just sit there. The girl told us it was for larger groups. I understood that and I was ok with table. The issue is a few minutes later they sat down a group of 4 white people at the booth after they told us we couldn't sit there even though our group was 4 people (non-white) as well. Either they don't consider a child a person or they have a race issue. The second negative experience was with the service for food. I ordered a steak skillet. We ended up getting two brought to us. I told the person we didn't order two but if they already made it we will take it and didn't mind paying for it. He placed both at our table. About 10 minutes later the waitress comes over and said she realized the second skillet was for someone else and just took it off the table before I even had a chance to tell her I already touched that food. I went up to her to tell her we will just take it and pay for it and I already touched it. She said they already threw it away. They threw away a whole skillet of food... so wasteful! I tried to tell her before she abruptly grabbed it and took it away from our table. We ended up ordering another skillet. The food itself was decent. We enjoyed our food we ordered.

Corned beef w/ 2 eggs, Hash browns, and a Waffle. Food was a 10/10. Service was even better. Juan made sure we were well served and enjoyed our meal. Will return!
Christopher P — Google review
Three stars for atmosphere becauseIt’s a big space a little, impersonal, a little cafeteria style a little noisy, but cute and clean. 4 1/2 stars for food as it’s a typical quick turnaround breakfast place. But they have added a mimosa menu and their kitchen is fast and efficient. The service today with Sam as our waiter was excellent five stars!
Erin S — Google review
Even with several parties ahead of us, my wife and I were able to get seated within about ten minutes or so on Saturday morning. Coffee great, service was kind and attentive and the food was great! We got so much food. I highly recommend the pancakes and add pecans. Thank me later.
Austin C — Google review
Went for lunch. Had immediate seating. Place was clean. Service friendly. Menu had lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. Chose the chicken Florentine crepe with side salad. Loved my side salad. The Florentine crepe was mid. It was huge and smothered in what I was told was hollandaise sauce. Although I've never seen yellow hollandaise sauce before. There was way too much, and I ended up scraping most of it off. It didn't really taste like anything to me. It was definitely filling. I probably would not reorder this again. But I do look forward to trying other items from the menu

We've eaten at this McKinney spot several time. Food and service are consistently good. On this visit we both ordered breakfast croissant sandwiches. I get the eggs fried, over hard, and he gets them scrambled. Both with bacon! This time I got the home fries on the side.

Located in the historic Grand Hotel & Ballroom on the downtown square in McKinney, Rick's Chophouse is a classic and elegant fine-dining steakhouse. The restaurant offers more than just steaks, with a diverse menu that includes seafood and gluten-free options. The ambiance is charming and upscale, featuring gas lamps, leather seating, and a dreamy tin ceiling. Guests can also enjoy patio seating for an al fresco dining experience. Personal visits from Rick himself add to the attentive service.
We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was a great choice! The restaurant had a very romantic feel, even though it was busy. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Our waiter recommended some dishes, and we ordered the Elk and the Buffalo Tenderloin. The Elk was amazing—1000/10! It came with mushrooms and was unlike anything I’ve ever had. I’d come back just for that. The Buffalo Tenderloin was also good, but not as special. They even gave my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday, which was really nice. Overall, a great night with great food and service. We’ll definitely be back!

What an odd mix of experiences in one meal. I took my husband here for our anniversary. Let me explain why I only gave three stars for food--the array of dishes had highs and lows and the average just came out to be...average. But there were highlights and lowlights. Highlights: I ordered elk and it was cooked perfectly. The green beans were excellent. The gratin that came with it was meh--slightly undercooked. My husband's prime rib was also cooked perfectly and the jus was lovely. The dessert (apple galette with bourbon ice cream) was really nice. Not too sweet, pastry was perfectly cooked, apples were not overcooked and there was a nice hint of spice in there. Lowlights: So, this is my fault for ordering oysters in August, but my husband wanted oysters. These were from PEI, according to our server. They were tiny, and one of them had grit--like, seriously, inexcusable grit. I included a photo of the oyster to show you how incredibly tiny these were for the $14/4 rate they charge. I guess they charge extra for grit. It's ridiculous. The shrimp cocktail had nice quality shrimp but they decided to douse it in what appeared to be some kind of Creole spice blend? It tasted like Tony Chachere's. I wanted to actually taste the shrimp. Now we get to service, which was...inconsistent. We had multiple people helping us but they didn't appear to listen to each other so it was kind of chaotic (the dining room was not full, either); it felt both rushed and also disorganized at the same time. Halfway through the meal we realized we had a piece of old carpet stapled to the bottom of our table, which confused us so I asked the server, and he said he'd never looked under the table and he would find out for us (apparently it is to "keep pantyhose from ripping."). So that was weird. Finally, I took some issue with the odd little unlabeled atomizers at each table which (when I asked the server) I was informed are hand sanitizer, but it's rubbing alcohol mixed with peppermint oil, so basically you're going to smell only mint if you use this stuff before you eat, so do not spray from the bottles. I don't want to smell mint when I'm about to eat seafood and meat--I just washed my hands in the bathroom before I ate.

We went to Rick’s for a birthday and the highlight of the night was the service. Excellent staff and management always there for anything you need. The food was delicious. The sides were the highlight for us. The basil potato side was outstanding, delicate texture, pesto-like flavor. Potatoes au gratin were perfectly prepared. The street corn had a slight spice along with the creamy sauce. I’d say I was least impressed with the steak unfortunately. Perhaps it was the cut I got but it wasn’t the most tender I’ve had. The flavor was on point, but at a steak house like this you’d hope the steak would steal the show. Still 5 stars for the amazing, special experience.

From the moment we stepped into Rick's Chop House, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a family dinner. We chose to dine on the patio, where the weather was absolutely perfect, allowing us to enjoy a delightful evening of people-watching in the square. To start, we indulged in the crab cake appetizer, which was a true standout! The cakes were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. For our mains, I opted for the prime rib cooked medium rare, and it was simply divine, tender, juicy, and full of flavor, paired beautifully with perfectly seasoned potatoes and grilled veggies. My husband chose the porterhouse, also medium rare, and he was equally impressed; the meat was cooked just right, with a delicious sear and excellent flavor. Our son couldn't get enough of the mac and cheese, which was creamy and comforting, making it a hit at the table. We also enjoyed some delightful Mexican corn, which added a unique twist to our meal. Overall, Rick's Chop House exceeded our expectations. The combination of delicious food, fantastic service, and a lovely atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. We can't wait to return!

The little things become big things at this price point. The Ahi tuna appetizer, the wedge salad, the elk, and the crème brûlée were the best items ordered by our group. Negatives: onion rings too salty, no one offered to find fourth member of our group a seat in the bar, when we initially checked in with the host, she said you need to be back up here when it is time for your reservation….. my thought weare going to be in The Bar spending money. Maybe you could come and get us? Someone in A suit in Thai came by our table to check on us. He said how are you doing? Do you need anything? How about another drink? So one of our party asked for another drink. It did not show up even after 15 minutes lol….. we had to ask again for it. They tiniest ladies toilet is just kind of silly. Maybe it should be marked for children or short ladies only!! I was hoping to consume a Landon Winery Cabernet reserve that evening, but I was told they only sell the Land and Winery Temperanillo.
RL K — Google review
This is definitely a five-star experience. Five of us had dinner to celebrate an 80th birthday. We did have a reservation on this Monday night. Our entrees included salmon, a burger, steaks, and desserts (to go). Everything was amazing.
Dawn C — Google review
It's fine Texan restaurant with good variety of cuisines. Stake house, fine bbq place. Food is fresh and delicious. Not regular Texas portion though 😉. A bit pricy but makes up the quality and atmosphere. It's a quiet, dimmed light ambience inside for maybe romantic date night. Indoor and outdoor seating. Better to secure a table by reservation. Service was responsive and quick. Accessible with flat entry and wide routes. Not good for kids for sure. Good for couples, date nights, small groups and gathering.
Max K — Google review
I have eaten at Rick’s Chophouse for the past 4 years. For the past 3 years, I have celebrated my anniversary here and enjoyed the free dessert treat they offer. I recently celebrated my 20th anniversary here, had the shrimp and grits with a spicy margarita, which was delicious. I have also tried their brunch which is one of my favorite things from this restaurant. It is definitely a place where I will continue dining for memorable moments.

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the charming Adriatic community of McKinney, Texas, Starwood Cafe is a delightful gem that specializes in classic American comfort food for breakfast and lunch. With an extensive brunch menu featuring everything from fluffy Belgian waffles and pancakes to savory omelets and crepes, there's something to satisfy every craving. For those with a sweet tooth, options like Texas pecan or strawberry waffles are sure to please.
This is located in the Adriatic community by the private residences and luxury apartments. It’s a nice place to walk around in, there is a bit of construction going on in the area, but the café is open. We went around 8:30 AM and were greeted well by the staff and seated right away. There were 2-3 more customers. The service was fast and friendly. The food was good. We had the classic American breakfast and Mediterranean omelette. You get two choices of sides with each. The hash brown is a must try! I will definitely come by with kids.

Beautiful atmosphere over in the Adriatica with a nice staff. Food was good and so were the lattes. However the lattes were very sweet I thought. Would have preferred something less sweet but it was good. Overall a fun brunch spot.

This restaurant is perfect for brunch or lunch! My family and I went there not too long ago and the food was delicious. We are a family of 4 and we ended up spending $50-ish dollars. The building is very pretty and the staff are attentive to the needs of guests. Overall, this Starwood Cafe is very nice!

This was my first time coming to this restaurant and the experience was AMAZING! Our waiter Mrs. Saniya was AMAZING, she was very kind and friendly. Something that I really appreciate she did was before I ordered my omelet she told me about the up charge for the veggies a few restaurants I’ve been to wouldn’t mention that information up front so I appreciate her for telling me up front so there wouldn’t be a surprise charge at the end.

Many of these business owners don’t abide nor run their business based on the American standards and they think that it is okay to mistreat customers when a customer exercises their right to provide feedback based on the service they have received. Once they have taken your money, they do not care if you’ve had a bad experience. Israel Acosta is such a terrible business owner. He is not open to feedback. He easily becomes worked up and mistreats customers. My family and I will never come back to this place. Like it matters right. When he’s making money off of all this innocent people. Instead of offering an apology and demonstrating empathy and courtesy. He takes the high road and starts becoming overly defensive. Why are these people allowed to set their business here if they cannot abide by the American standards? Needless to express the terrible experience we had because I already have. Think twice before setting foot in this place. I’ve giving you a little glimpse of the person who is running this place. I don’t know about you, him or her but I’m not giving this person my money ever again.

Solid breakfast choice with a very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and unique location in Adriatica Village. I'm a regular at this location and will continue to return. Their food can sometimes hit the mark, but it's rare. Love the variety of vegetarian options. Highly disappointed by the mutligrain pancakes- like trying to cut through some sort of makeup foam rather than soft fluffy pancakes, so I'll stay away from that going forward. I ordered banana multigrain pancakes and was given a stack of super firm and dense pancakes and sliced bananas on the side. However, their coffee is delicious, and they provide creamers and jellies on the table so you don't have to request those. Vegetarian omelets, skillets, and avocado toast are decent, and Banana Nutella Crepes are a favorite. Really the atmosphere of this location is my favorite feature of this Starwood. It's always busy, especially on weekends. (Fyi: On weekdays you can call ahead and add your name to the list but not on weekends.)

The Yard in McKinney, Texas is a spacious outdoor dining destination where you can enjoy a variety of food and drinks. With a large seating area, you can savor beer, frozen beverages, tacos, burgers, and chicken fried steak while taking in the fresh air. This family-owned restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to relax and have fun.
Second time visiting this spot and it didn’t disappoint. The open backyard setting has a great vibe. Service was prompt—our waitress quickly took drink and appetizer orders and stayed attentive throughout. The food was delicious and really hit the spot, all at very reasonable prices. Definitely planning a third visit!

Super warm staff and some brilliant food makes this place a must visit. You have plenty of seating options. The place has 2 entrances and that confused us a bit, especially since the side one was unmanned. From the Menu, we loved the Creamy Tomato Soup and the Catfish and Shrimp platter. Will definitely visit again.

We ordered the Beef Nachos and Buffalo Chicken Tacos, plus the kids’ menu items — Cheese Quesadillas and Just-a-Burger. The food was fresh, and the Beef Nachos (regular size) were generous in portion. The nachos and tacos were a little hard to eat — they can get your hands messy 😄. Otherwise, everything was delicious! The only thing I wish is that they’d improve their water — it had a strong chlorine taste 😖.

A great place to sit and relax in the large outdoor area. Service was great and we were seated immediately. Lots of fans and misters to beat the heat outside. Drinks were fun and they had adult slushes too. There are some TVs and bar games around of you wanna catch the game. Family friendly. The food was sorta "blah" though and basic. They can reach some and offer better options with more flare I think. I'll definitely return.

Stopped by this spot for the first time on a blazing hot weekday, and I’m so glad I did! It wasn’t crowded, which gave me the perfect chance to take in the gorgeous atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and personable, making me feel right at home. Huge bonus: they’ve got outdoor cooling fans with a refreshing mist, such a lifesaver in the heat! I only came for drinks this time (which were absolutely on point), so I can’t comment on the food just yet, but the menu has me intrigued. I’ll definitely be back to try it out. What I love is how dog-friendly and family-friendly this place is, such a great vibe for everyone. And don’t stress if the front parking looks packed; swing around back and you’ll find a large lot waiting for you. Overall, a beautiful spot with amazing staff, great drinks, and a welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to come back for the full experience!

I really enjoyed my visit here! The service staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The place has a great view and plenty of space, so it never feels crowded or overwhelming. I also loved that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot whether you want to relax inside or enjoy the fresh air. Definitely a great place to go with friends or family!

Last time we came, the wait was almost 2 hours! It was the first weekend of the year where the weather was perfect for dining outside. We made reservations this time and glad we did! It was spectacular. We ordered the queso twice because it was so incredible. We don't get out to McKinney often, but this is a must.

We had such a great experience at The Yard in McKinney! Even though it was packed, the service was fast, friendly, and our entire order came out perfectly. I had the Epic Shrimp Burrito with chips and queso — everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. My mom got the Surf Tacos and loved them. My daughter ordered The Yard Burger with specific sauces, and they got everything just right. The atmosphere is super clean, welcoming, and has such a great vibe. Huge shoutout to our server, Akhil — he was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Delicious food, awesome service — we’ll definitely be back!

Local Yocal BBQ & Grill is a laid-back spot offering hearty Texas-style dishes, including Wagyu steaks and BBQ, along with local craft beer on tap. The restaurant features a covered patio with drop-down shades and seven fans, providing a cool and entertaining dining experience. This patio was once a freight dock in the 1920s through the 30s when the building served as a wholesale grocer.
Amazing food - and service - thrilled that we stopped here for lunch! Honestly, the pictures don’t do the food justice - these were outstanding burgers! We got The Hamilton and it was the best burger we’ve probably ever had - seriously! Little jalapeño for some spice to it, everything about this burger was awesome. And then we got The Texan, which is their brisket burger and it was awesome as well. Fries were good; went with a salad as the second side because we didn’t need any more fries or chips! Ambiance was awesome and Frances, our waitress, was so kind, courteous, and prompt with everything we needed for a wonderful meal!

A fun and inviting atmosphere that is bustling invites you in for a great meal. Service was friendly and kind. Food was above average with ample portions to please any appetite. The ala carte sides were great and very shareable. Lots of delicious steaks to choose from with seafood too. Family friendly with plenty of parking. Bartender can improve a bit as our drinks were bruised. Overall good experience where I will return.

Got to say, the Local Yocal was a great experience! The atmosphere was comfortable and not too loud - lots of wood, brick, and leather. Our waitress Victoria was knowledgeable and attentive. Had the typical steak dinner but the Wagu Tenderloin had a wonderful flavor with just the right amount of wood grill - it cut like butter and melted in the mouth. Will happily return and hope to visit the butcher shop soon. Two steak dinners with salad and a shared side, dessert and coffee, w/o alcohol ~ $150 ... but there were other good choices so we could have had dinner for half that if we had wanted.

We went to a special event at this location last night, and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had! The chef at this location is amazing and even was willing to accommodate my shellfish allergy and still allow me to enjoy a fabulous fish dish. Our meal was paired with Olema and Amici wines. For the first time in a long time, I drank and felt fine the next day as these wines have very low residual sugar and no additives. Their ending cocktail was one I definitely want to repeat. The service was wonderful, and the bartender had the best sense of humor. It was truly a delightful evening and when I would love to repeat as they have these events quarterly.

Had a great experience here with a group of 10 people. Very nice place. The food, service, and atmosphere was top notch. Would definitely go back. Everyone enjoyed their food. Most people had the smoked chicken fried steak.

Stopped in for lunch. I have been here a couple of times over the past couple of years. I have had the BBQ sampler and while it was pretty good there is great BBQ 5 minutes down the road. This time I had the steak sandwich. You won’t find it on their menu online as the menu in the restaurant is not the same as online their website. I skipped the fries and got a side Caesar salad instead. The salad was ok. It wasn’t dressed as much as I like. The components of it were good quality though. The steak sandwich which I ordered medium rare was average at best. Steak cooked well, but not seasoned very good. The roll it came on didn’t taste very fresh. The sandwich has burrata, arugula, and a mushroom duxelles spread. I tried all components separately and none of them stood out. Most surprised by the steak as this is a meat place. The restaurant is a cool place with a well stocked bar with plenty of seating and private rooms. The location is just across the road from the McKinney Square. I do love their butcher shop just down the road, but the restaurant doesn’t do much for me.

We stumbled across Local Yocal by pure coincidence, and I’m so glad we did! The food was truly amazing! We were looking for a seed-oil-free restaurant in McKinney, as we were visiting town, and weren’t quite sure how Local Yocal would turn out. Unbeknownst to us, they had switched their fryers over to beef tallow just three months prior! Everything tasted super fresh and fantastic. The Mac N’Cheese with Chopped Brisket was by far our favorite dish there. Truly mouthwatering. Thanks to the hostess Emily for the great recommendation! Overall, this was an excellent dining experience. Everyone there was super friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to be back!

Fresh farm-to-table options which were deliciously prepared with excellent customer service. My only reason at holding back on a 5-star rating was due to the noise level in the restaurant. It's quite hard to hold a conversation when it's crowded.

IHOP is a well-established chain known for its diverse selection of American breakfast and diner dishes. The restaurant offers over 14 different types of pancakes, including favorites like Buttermilk and Chocolate Chip, as well as signature breakfasts such as the Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity and International Passport Breakfast.
April 12, 2025 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an awesome visit to IHOP yesterday! The staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in, and our waitress, Kristy, was absolutely wonderful 🙂💙 — so kind, attentive, and helpful the whole time. I ordered the Classic Fried Chicken Sandwich 🍗🥪 and asked for a side of buffalo sauce 🔥 to turn it into a Buffalo chicken sandwich — and let me tell you, it was amazing. I swapped the fries for onion rings 🧅, and they were crispy, golden perfection! My wife went with the waffle combo 🧇🍳 and switched out the hash browns for French fries 🍟 — a great call. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. All around, it was a fantastic meal with great service. Thanks, Kristy and team! We’ll definitely be back. 💯👏

I came here to IHOP and had a wonderful experience. Sergio was our waiter and he was amazing. He was able to have the eggs cooked the way my Mom likes them. He came by our table many times to check up on us to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful experience here at IHOP today.
Joshua C — Google review
7/5/2025 - This was our first visit to an IHOP in several years. We arrived around 1035 in the morning, and we were seated as soon as we walked in the door even though the restaurant was packed with customers. Our concern upon being seated was the lack of a "Specials" menu, and there wasn't a variety of flavored syrups at the table. Lastly, the surface of the table we were seated at was a little dirty and sticky. After waiting for a few minutes, our waiter arrived. Our first request from him was if we could get our table wiped down because the table top was a little sticky. He left and returned in about a minute and then wiped down our table. At this time, we were ready to place our orders. My wife ordered the 2 x 2 x 2 breakfast (eggs over medium and bacon well done), and I ordered the Colorado omelet breakfast with a side of bacon (pictured). I also ordered a coffee (for myself), and we ordered (2) two waters. After approximately 10 minutes, we received our coffee and waters. Our food was brought to us a few minutes later. My order was perfect. However, there were several issues with the food brought to my wife. One of the pancakes was burnt (she couldn't even cut through it with a knife), and it appeared the cook attempted to hide it under a larger pancake on the plate. The eggs were not cooked over medium (though they were still good), and the bacon was not well done (my wife loves to eat burnt well done bacon). She ended up after showing our waiter the burnt pancake, getting the pancake portion replaced. That batch of pancakes was made right. All in all, for a long awaited return to IHOP, our visit was disappointing. We got seated quickly, and our waiter/server was a bit slow yet friendly and did take care of us. The prices as always were affordable. We found more bad issues than good here at this establishment. I do not think we will return to this particular IHOP anytime soon. Maybe if the standards change for the better, we will come back again.

I just got out of a grueling 4 hour flight and my first stop was IHOP. Best decision I made all day! Our server, Rachel, was the absolute best. She was very kind and helpful even though we’re a pretty rambunctious group. I even ordered a last minute waffle that made this whole excursion even more worth it. It was delicious! I could stay here all night. Shout out again to Rachel for being wonderful!

Outstanding Service from Teresa! Our visit to IHOP was absolutely wonderful thanks to Teresa C.Even though the kitchen was a bit behind, she handled everything with professionalism and confidence. She was attentive from start to finish—checking on us often, keeping us updated, and making sure everything came out just right. My husband and my mother both commented on how hardworking and genuinely caring she is. Teresa is the kind of employee every restaurant needs—focused, friendly, and reliable. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking to sit in her section again!

Benny's is the best breakfast place I've been to in a while. I have the classic egg plate. My eggs were perfect! I love my eggs scrambled soft and chef delivered😋! The pancakes were so soft and so delicious even without syrup! This is my new favorite place!

I ordered the gravy train omelette. It had so much cheese. I can’t see anyone eating it without getting a stomach ache. The biscuit inside the omelette was hard. Definitely disappointed especially considering I spent $13.00. The orange juice did not taste freshly squeezed. The hash browns were really good with the right amount of crispness. Service was really good.

A great breakfast place for family and friends. I came here because of the great ratings and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were very courteous, warm, patient and helpful as we sorted through a comprehensive menu. The food took about 15 minutes and came freshly made and very tasty. I really liked the offering and you're carefully prepared all the orders were. The space is well spread out to prove l provide privacy in conversations. It is also well aired and arranged. Finally, the prices are the main attraction here. Great value for money!

Ordered to go/uber eats two omelets. clearly one was missing from the order (only one big box came in our bag). We called the restaurant and their only solution was to make us drive back up there’s unfortunately I have a newborn baby which is why I ordered delivery in the first place. There needs to be some sort of connection and accountability between the delivery services they partner with. As far as the food, the omelet we did get had tough chewy pieces of bacon throughout. Wish we could say more.

I’ve ordered from here a few times for both pickup and dining in. The food always comes out hot and fresh, and my orders have been accurate every time. Service is great, and there’s never a wait for a table, even on a busy Sunday after church.

Although most people would say that a dine In experience is generally “better” than a take out one, I throughly enjoyed the take out I ordered. I ordered the cream cheese stuffed French Toast and the Ham Breakfast Sandwich. Both menus items were very tasty and I very much enjoyed the side of hash browns that had not only a good outside crunch, but also a really flavorful fluffy interior. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for a good breakfast spot!

this place was delicious! we came across this place looking for a brunch spot and think we found the one. i got the french toast with strawberries and blueberries and it was so good. the cream wasn’t over powering and it had a nice healthy taste. we also ordered the benny skillet that had apple chicken sausage and the meal was a great size, not too heavy and also came with a side of crepes. i would definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re in a large group. the place is clean and the service was great. i will definitely be back!

By far the best Waffle House I’ve been too. The whole staff was great and Sandy and Keith were by far the best servers I’ve had. Their kindness and attention to detail was noted and appreciate. It had been a long day of travel and they put a smile on our faces. Will be stopping here again!

My wife just loves Waffle House. Scattered smothered and covered is her jam. She can eat that any day every day. Even though I have eaten at Waffle House for as far back as I can remember, I have grown to love it more and more thanks to my wife. Even though I like to give her a hard time about it, I do love it. We don’t have a lot of actual free time for just the two of us. And our seven year old is not exactly a traditional breakfast person. So we had the opportunity recently to visit this location for breakfast. As always, we were greeted with a smile by one of the wonderful workers. She said give me just a sec and I will get that table wiped down for you. She cleaned it, took our drink order, and gave us our menu. You can’t go wrong with the All Star Breakfast. Eggs over easy, toast, hash browns (covered, chunked and peppered), sausage, and waffle with pecans. BOOM!!! Heaven on a plate. The waitress checked on us frequently even though she had many tables. Kept our drinks full and made sure everything was golden. So I highly recommend the Waffle House and this location.

Totally disorganized. Waited 20 minutes for a seat. Get seated while other people came in to place to go orders, and 3 orders went out and we were still waiting for our food after 30 minutes of sitting waiting for our order. So nearly an hour being in there we left with empty bellys. Never got our food and never an explanation or apologize. Last time ever at this location. Even the manager had no idea how to run the cook line. Slow to clean tables, and way over spraying to the point of choking your breath. Super slow service obviously. Total waste of time! Never again for this location!

Many patrons return time and again, which speaks volumes about the welcoming vibe and attentive service.
I can’t believe I have not been here sooner. There was a wait when we arrived on the weekend, but it was worth it. Service-wise, everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant felt a bit small, and it was packed. It was running very smoothly. We did not have to wait too long to order or for the food to arrive. We enjoyed absolutely everything we ordered. The portions were huge, and the prices were competitive. The most surprising dish was probably the chicken fried steak. Make this your next brunch stop!

The mimosas were fantastic, and the brunch food was delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the three-egg vegetable omelet, which was perfectly cooked and paired with wholesome whole wheat toast and crispy hash browns. I walked into B&B Cafe with low blood sugar and a broken spirit. I left a reborn man. This is not a restaurant. This is a portal. A sacred temple of hash browns and second chances. The kind of place where time slows, cholesterol heals, and the waitress knows your soul before she knows your name. I didn’t choose the biscuit life. The biscuit life chose me. The moment I sat down, I heard “Hey hun, coffee?” and in that instant, the trauma of my childhood left my body. She poured that bitter brown elixir into a ceramic cup like she was baptizing me in bean water — and I tell you, it hit. Not fancy. Not frothy. But it tasted like truck stops and truth. Like 5 a.m. before the world remembers it’s supposed to be cruel. I ordered the chicken fried steak because the man in the booth next to me made eye contact and whispered, “Do it.” I obeyed. It came out on a plate the size of Saturn’s third moon. It was battered. It was smothered. It was glorious. I could feel my ancestors fist-bumping in heaven. I took one bite and blacked out. When I woke up, there was gravy on my cheek and my childhood dog was sitting across from me, nodding in approval. The pancakes? More like cloud tablets sent from Mount Olympus. I tried to cut one and it cut me back — emotionally. Who gave them the right to be that fluffy? Who let them make carbs into gospel? Even the butter is different here. It doesn’t melt. It settles in — like an old friend finally coming home. I spread it on my toast and saw visions. My third eye opened. I remembered every good thing that’s ever happened to me, and none of them were better than this toast. Let’s talk service. My waitress (Sharon? Angela? Possibly an angel in disguise?) had the efficiency of a NASCAR pit crew and the kindness of a Midwestern grandma who never learned how to be mean. She called me “sweetheart” and suddenly I believed in love again. I don’t know who runs this place. I don’t know what sacred cow they sacrifice each morning to get gravy like that. All I know is, this is the last meal I want before I die. This is where I want to bring my future children to tell them how beautiful life can be. This is where I want my ashes scattered — into the griddle, so I can live on through the pancakes. Do not go here if you are on a diet. Do not go here if you want “clean” food. Go here if you want to feel alive. Go here if you want to feel like America is still good. Go here. Order the special. Tip heavily. And if the spirit moves you — weep.

This is my second time coming here in a week! That’s how impressed I am with B&B’s Cafe. This time I ordered just the crepe (classic) and asked for just fresh strawberries in and on the outside. They got crepes right, which most places don’t. They were spongy, light and flavorful. Some of the edges had that light crispy part that was perfect. A must have.

Wow. I almost have no words. Just such an amazing experience, to the seating setup, attention to detail- to the amazing tasting food and wonderful customer service and care I received by the hostess Bonnie and my waitress Jasmine! I ordered the Bacado omelet, side of bacon, pancakes, and yes a side cheese grits! As well as some coffee and was even offered a water which was a great idea. As a first time customer and business owner this is exactly what I needed to fuel my day, heck, maybe even my week. Coming here genuinely made me happy, and I just want others to never stop trying something new, you never know just how good a visit can be. Thank you.

BEST brunch place! The coffee is not bitter and has a great flavor! The food is DELICIOUS! My boyfriend's plate was not safe from my grubby little fingers because that chicken on the chicken and waffles was katsu like, juicy inside and crispy outside with just enough oil to keep me coming for more. The eggs benedict, so decadent and lovely that even though my pockets were empty my heart and stomach were full. I shall come back and try everything until they make me a mascot. The food is consistently delicious—my favorites are the corned beef skillet, and all the crepes and pancakes are fantastic. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely caring. They always take the time to chat with us and check on my baby girl, which makes our visits feel extra special. We also love the vibe of the restaurant, especially the outdoor patio. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed, chilled-out weekend morning where we can enjoy quality family time. Overall, it’s a place that never disappoints, and we look forward to every visit!

Historic Downtown McKinney is a vibrant district with a laid-back nightlife, offering an array of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars for socializing or date nights. The area features over 120 shops including boutiques, art galleries, and antique stores. Visitors can enjoy live performances, escape room events at Exit Plan, and board games at Carpe Diem Comics.
McKinney is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. The centre of the downtown is the historic McKinney performing arts center, which is surrounded by 19th century buildings which are very well preserved. These buildings currently house, restaurants, art, galleries, bars, clothing, shops, souvenir, shops, barbershops, and many other local businesses. Not a single franchise in sight!.The area is safe, clean and very comfortable. Definitely worth visiting. There is free 3 Hour St. parking from 8 AM to 5 PM daily so parking is not an issue.

McKinney’s Oktoberfest is a lively, family-friendly celebration in the heart of Historic Downtown. The cobblestone streets come alive with cheerful Bavarian music, hearty German food, and plenty of beer. From weenie dog races to stein-holding contests, there’s something for everyone. A fun mix of local charm and traditional Oktoberfest spirit—definitely worth a visit!

Such a cute, homey downtown area!! The small businesses and shops have unique trinkets, delicious coffee/treats, and great gifts. They do a lot of family friendly/neighborhood events in the square and I absolutely LOVE their winter decor. I call it the little Christmas town! It is worth a visit and it’s an enjoyable square that you’re sure to find something you like!

We had an amazing time here! I’m not sure what the other reviewer was expecting from a temporary restaurant that had only just opened. Should they invest in all new furniture and dish ware for 8 weeks of service? We didn’t see a single plastic cup either. All of our glasses were adorable. It’s located in the space where The Pantry used to be and they have done a great job decorating and providing photo backdrops. I was so sad about the fire at Rye but thrilled this group is staying in McKinney and coming back with a new theme. The pop up is temporary but they went all out decorating. The drinks were all creative and tasty, served in adorable cups and glasses. The chicken tenders were fantastic and the sauces also great. We were there on a slower night so the staff provided some off-menu items to sample. Everything was amazing! But honestly it was the service and staff that were above and beyond and really made the night special. They were checking on us constantly, making sure everything was perfect. If you are out shopping in McKinney or looking for a fun holiday evening, I whole heartedly recommend you pop in Santa’s Workshop, grab a cocktail, and take some Christmas photos.

We were in the area for the McKinney holiday festival and this was a perfect place to stop in for a quick drink. The atmosphere is very rustic and feels like you’re in a 90s-2000s Hallmark holiday movie. There’s different themed sections of the bar like a Grinch themed area. The drinks are simple and cute. There’s no reservations, you just walk in, order at the front and find a table. They do have a limited food menu, the cheese curds and chicken tenders were great to snack on. They also have a kid friendly menu.

I try to give out 5 star reviews sparingly because few restaurants truly wow - but this one hit the mark on everything from service, atmosphere, and of course the actual food. Wow. Unique, varied, delicious (obviously), and most surprisingly quite affordable considering the quality. My favorites were the Forest Floor (mushroom dish), the Salmon (forgot the full name), the Shortrib, and the chili chocolate cake. Wonderful stuff and the staff all knew the menu well which is lovely. Will be coming back again very soon. Props to the chef and service staff. One thing is that they did have to push our reservation back 35min due to how busy they were - but that’s quite understandable for a restaurant this small + good. No biggie since it’s in downtown McKinney which is fun to have a stroll around.

We arrived at a full restaurant with only a couple seats at the bar. We decided to eat there rather than wait for a table. We were so glad we did. The bartender, Heather took such great care of us the whole night. She helped us feel at home and treated us like we were regulars there. She explained the small plate format and gave us her recommendations which was appreciated. Each plate was a delightful surprise of complex and mouthwatering sauces and seasonings with fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and plan to return again real soon.

Such a lovely and cozy atmosphere. The food was beyond anything I had expected. So delicious and unique. The staff and owner were so very kind and took such great care of us. I can't wait to take everyone here. Save room for dessert too....just wow. New favorite.

We love Rye! Food was always phenomenal with thoughtful presentations: Pork Belly Lollipops - 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- melts in your mouth perfection! Salmon Gow - 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- flour wrapper can be thinner Vaca Frita Tacos - 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- delicious! Release the Quack-en - 6/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- best duck ever! Three French Hens - 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- full of flavours To Peach Their Own 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- unique dessert Benedict, chicken and grit at brunch were yummy too. Jadzia was always cordial and she would answer all of our questions with great patience. She's also very knowledgeable of their menu. High marks for that. There'd be a $10 deposit per guest on reservation in case of no show, it's fair and not a deal breaker for us. Can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu and we would definitely start every meal with pork lollipop. It's that good!
Cat H — Google review
Rye is very, very popular. I was in McKinney for an unrelated reason and decided to stop by, on a Saturday night. There was a 2 hour wait. I proceeded to go somewhere else (without putting in my name) and come back at 9pm, where my friend and I were seated. Our drinks were great. We people watched and everyone was ordering the meat lollipops. Next time I am in the area, I'll make a reservation before hand. Can't wait to try more!
Kaitlin B — Google review
Wow, wow, WOW! My husband and I have been waiting for RYE to reopen, and it was worth the wait. We came for a low key date night and were greeted at the door by a very friendly gentleman, who escorted us to our table, pulling out my chair for me upon arrival. Later into our meal, after talking for about 10 minutes with this gentleman, we find out he is the owner. From the small town feel, charm and intimate setting created, all worries and stress that may be tagging along with you are washed away as your sink into your meal. My husband ordered a local beer, and after receiving feedback from our waiter regarding each cocktail, I went with the Giggle Juice, very refreshing! Rye has reinvented themselves with a "small plate" concept and from what we experienced, it's working flawlessly. We ordered the Russian Roulette Peppers, Pork Belly Lollipops, Gouda Mac N Cheese, and Smores for dessert. Each plate was brought out in succession, not all at once allowing us to really savor each plate. The strategic thought that went into each dish was well organized, clever and purposeful. The peppers are called "Russian Roulette" because one of the peppers is hotter than the rest- but they don't tell you which one! We loved that idea. The mac n cheese was superb- my husband and I both agreed we should have gotten the larger portion! The pork belly lollipops were so incredibly tender and the Swiss and rainbow chard garnishment that went along with those were just as delicious. When the smores came out, staff came out with a small torch and lit cedar (I believe it was cedar?) chips on fire in a miniature Dutch oven to create an aroma you would find at a campfire, roasting marshmallows. It was fantastic. One last final thought- I am a bit of snob with bathrooms, I attached a few pictures from their bathroom. It was pretty clean, although there is only one bathroom for both men and women, so I think constant attention to maintaining it will be necessary to ensure cleanliness. They are doing a great job! We cannot wait to come back, and have shared with our friends and family as a MUST TRY on repeat! Thanks RYE!

The food has really gone downhill. My Asian inspired salad was all iceberg with fake looking wontons, barely any sliced almonds and a sad sandwich which was not what I ordered falling over off the plate. It really is sad. I will never eat at Panera again.

Great selection! I had the S'more and Pistachio donuts. The S'more was very exciting looking, but a little overwhelming. One or two bites would have been enough. The Pistachio was simpler and I enjoyed every bite. The rest of my family enjoyed what they got as well.

Very cute donuts and a very friendly staff. They take the average donut shop and elevate the donuts with some very cute designs. They can also make almost any donut in the store gluten free in about 3 minutes. The donuts were a bit heavy… meaning you can taste the grease they were cooked in, not really light and fluffy. The taste was good, but I wish they were less greasy. Would I go here again? Absolutely. There long time customer rating makes me think I just had a couple donuts that were heavier than normal.

Hydeout Cafe is beautiful in atmosphere and hospitality. My first day i had a BLT and coffee, everything came out freshly cooked and flavorful. Best bacon ive had in a while. The food was really good just smaller portions depending on what you order. I order a lumberjack breakfast which was good solid choice but if you’re very hungry I would opt for something else. Also tried the chicken fried steak was that was a much bigger portion and was very good along with the gravy. Also have amazing coffee that is Italian I believe. The staff was amazing and the place was clean and very open. I would highly recommend this place.

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The dining room wasn't noisy like so many other places I've been to and the staff was very friendly. We were seated right away, greeted quickly, and our food came out super fast. I got the hash stack and it was fantastic. A lot of places like this will consistently have the same menu items, but they definitely have some unique items here. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and will be going back for more.

We came in with our boys and we had an amazing experience!! The waitress was training but doing an amazing job at caring for our needs with teaching. She took her time to allow my toddlers to order their food and was understanding when my smallest needed a little more time with his words. The food was delicious and we cleaned our plates of any leftovers. We ordered an iced coffee off the menu and I loved it.

This is a super clean, modern Diner Cafe that serves a wonderful Sunday brunch. Another brunch place on Stacy Road was busy so this was another place that was recommended to us from a family member. We stopped by and two of us had the eggs benedict and I had the country breakfast. Everything was cooked beautifully and presented wonderfully. The hash browns had the nice crispy brown fried surface but soft potatoes underneath, the Country Biscuit was buttery and crusty with a wonderful country gravy over the top, and my eggs were cooked perfectly to order. I enjoyed a coffee that gave me a pick me up and my family members enjoyed iced tea. Everything looks very clean and the service was fast. The patio looks like a great place to have an outside breakfast lunch or even dinner but I don't think they're open for dinner. I wouldn't mind coming back, it was yummy.

I have tried every Skillet on the Menu. The Greek, and Carnitas are by far the best in my book! I was surprised by how good their hydeout burger tasted. This truly is a place where you can try something new each visit and have a low chance of being disappointed. Servers are usually fast and friendly. I have also bought their hot sauce for myself and as gifts.

We strolled into Hydeout Cafe to fuel up before recording a podcast at nearby 1845 Distillery—and what a hidden gem! My wife ordered the Bacado Benedict, a bacon and avocado masterpiece topped with rich, creamy hollandaise. She said the eggs were poached perfectly, and the English muffin stayed toasty under all that gooey goodness—each bite perfectly balanced. I went full Texan with the breakfast burrito—loaded with bacon, cheese, and fresh vegetables all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Their house hot sauce added a smoky, tangy kick that brought it all together. Yuisa, our waitress, was super knowledgeable—walking us through the menu and pointing out what was made in-house. That attention to detail really stood out. The coffee? Hot, fresh, and the perfect eye-opener to start the day. A great place like this is a rare find when you’re traveling the countryside telling the American whiskey story. We’ll definitely be back. – Mike “Big Chief” Hiatt The Whiskey Trip Podcast

The variety of food styles and flavors is great, ranging from healthy options to less healthy ones. The pancakes, according to the person who had them, were delicious, and my kids really enjoyed the waffles. I tried the roast beef sandwich, but it tasted a bit bitter because of the type of sides it came with. The eggs with potatoes and sausage, in my opinion, were too plain and could use much more flavor. One thing to note is that my brother ordered a sandwich from the sandwich section but was given a burger, while I got an actual sandwich. It seems a bit unclear whether you’ll get a sandwich or a burger, so it’s better to ask first to avoid surprises—luckily, I did. The place itself is not very spacious, and I feel the prices are a bit on the high side.

Perfectly situated near a variety of restaurants, guests can enjoy exclusive discounts and even have meals delivered straight to their room at no extra cost. We had a GREAT stay! The room was new and clean; we loved that we had a fridge, plates, bowls, silverware, and a kcup machine. There was also a steamer for formal clothes. The one thing that was missing was a wall hanger for long clothes such as formal dresses. The bed was comfortable, housekeeping was kind, and Karen at the front desk was great as well! Make sure you take your own shower soap because there is none provided, just a very small bar of hand soap. Haven’t experienced that shortfall in over 30 years of business travel. The rooms on the parking garage side are noisy on Friday and Saturday nights until midnight due to the live bands on the quad lawn next door. The employees are efficient and friendly. The hotel is very clean and secure.

Friendly and prompt service by all, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and convenient location. Brief and easy walk to multiple restaurants. My only negative is road noise, I didn’t have an issue, but with proximity to the road I could see some rooms having a problem with it depending on their level of sensitivity. This would not be something that bothered me as much regardless of room location. Would recommend and stay again.

Recently had breakfast at the new location in VanAlstyne. The new location is as good or better than the previous one. The food was great. The service was great as always. Great location great spacious interior environment. Highly recommend for home cooking.

I stopped by Bill Smith Café and wow the food was so good I literally ate it before I could even take a picture! Everything tasted homemade and fresh, just like real Southern comfort food should. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the place had that warm, small-town charm that makes you feel right at home. If you’re anywhere near Van Alstyne, this spot is an absolute must. Next time I’ll try to slow down long enough for a photo… but no promises!

The breakfast qt Bill Smiths is a must-visit! The fresh-made biscuits and pancakes are outstanding, and the service is friendly and efficient. If you're looking for a delicious, no-frills breakfast in a cozy, local spot, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Returning to Bill Smith's Cafe after its relocation to downtown Van Alstyne was like reuniting with an old friend. Though it's been years since I last visited the original location in McKinney, stepping into the new space felt both familiar and exciting. The transformation is remarkable; the cramped quarters of the old cafe have been replaced by a spacious, inviting environment with stunning brick walls and tall ceilings. Some nostalgic touches, like the deer and buffalo mounts, have made the move as well, adding to the charm of the new spot. But of course, the real star of the show remains the food, and I'm pleased to report that it's just as exceptional as ever. The aroma that greeted me as I entered instantly transported me back to my previous visits. The pancakes and biscuits and gravy, staples of my past experiences, were just as delectable as I remembered. Opting for the Papa Smith's special, I was delighted when the waitress kindly offered to serve me both a pancake and French toast, alleviating my indecision. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his Belgian waffle as well. Despite the slightly longer drive from McKinney, the experience at Bill Smith's Cafe is worth every mile. The fact that it's reopened in a new location only adds to its allure, offering a fresh start while still maintaining the essence of what made it beloved in the first place. I'm thrilled to have this culinary gem back in my rotation, and I look forward to many more satisfying meals at this cherished establishment.

Bill Smiths Cafe is hands down the BEST place to stop in for breakfast and lunch in Van Alstyne. The catfish I ordered was hot fresh and perfectly seasoned. We are hooked. Our service was excellent. Ms.Roxy was sweet and attentive and kept our sweet teas coming. My mother loved the blueberry pancakes she recommended. All The staff there were very attentive and lively. I definitely will be back with more family . 👍👍

Absolutely a one and done for me. The nightmare starts the second you walk in the door. One would think there would be a hostess stand to take down your party's name, but no...everyone just stands at the door waiting for someone to acknowledge them. Today, that took 10 mins. Finally a woman comes over and asks if we put our name on the list yet and all 4 cpls standing there said, what list? She took our name down. It took another 10 mins to be sat, which isn't unusual for any restaurant that's busy on a Saturday morning. As we are standing there we hear the older short lady with spiky hair SCREAM out names from the list. Not a big deal to us considering we were by the front door. Whole 'nuther ballgame when she's doing it right in your ear as she's walking up and down the aisle right beside you. 🤬 She came over after about 5 mins and took our drink order. I told her tea with no lemon and she said "I never put lemon in it anyway. I don't have time for all that mess." We laughed it off and then proceeded to wait 10 mins for her to return to our table asking, "oh yeah what drinks did y'all have? They stuck me at the register." We told her and off she went to get our drinks finally. She came back making the excuse that she has told them she can't run food, check on her tables and run the register at the same time. Not one single time did she apologize for the wait nor the forgetting our order. She takes our order and after 30 mins of waiting and still no food, (my glass empty by this time) I track her down and ask her if she could please check and see when our food would be done. She jokes and says 2 years and some odd days. I almost threw a $5 on the table and walked out right then. I told her my hubby needed to hurry up and get back to work and she pretends to call his employer and make an excuse for him to be late. At this point we realize, empathy is NOT in the cards at this point...just excuses. 15 mins after that our food finally came out, if you can even call it that. I FINALLY got my drink filled and thank God I did bc I needed it to help choke down the food. The toast was good and so were the 2 side eggs I got. The all meat omelet was awful. The ham was the only thing not burnt in it. The bacon was so hard it was inedible and the sausage was dried out and extra fried. The omelet was NOT 3 eggs that's for sure and you can see from the pics, it was also burnt. The hashbrowns were bland and undercooked. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS COLD. Don't get me started on my husband's breakfast but I'm sure you can find his review on here of the sad chicken and waffle he got. After doing the math on our check we should have been charged $32.50 with tax. We were charged $37. Not sure how their math computes but we made up for it by not tipping. With rude waitstaff, lengthy kitchen times and then putting out less than mediocre food, I don't see this place lasting as long as it did in McKinney. Maybe Bill needs to think seriously about all the 1 star reviews he has gotten, especially about his waitresses and cooks, and make some changes. Until then, we won't be back.

Whataburger, a beloved fast-food chain that has been serving up delicious burgers since the 1950s, is known for its counter-service style and mouthwatering creations. While experiences can vary, many patrons rave about the freshness of their meals, especially when enjoyed on-site. Some have encountered issues with orders being incorrect or items not meeting expectations when delivered. However, those who dine in often find a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff that enhance their experience.
Food is so good l, came here yesterday and I got to use my points. The burger I got was steaming hot and fresh. Tasted so good! I would have gotten cheese with it but I didn’t have money 😔 Came back today and the service is just as good, along with fries and everything tasting good! BUT 0963 better low key

November 23, 2024 ⭐️ The service here was super slow and beyond forgetful. Tyler handed us our food about 20 minutes after ordering 🍔⏳ and said, “I’ll be right back with the ketchup tray.” But as soon as someone came to the line, he put the tray back 🤦‍♂️🍅 and started helping them instead. I went to the counter to get it myself, but both Tyler and another kid with dark curly hair 👦👀 completely ignored me. They saw me but didn’t even ask if I needed anything 🙄. Finally, an elderly woman in a Whataburger uniform 👵🍔✨ and a yellow reflective vest came to my rescue and helped me get the ketchup I needed. The whole experience felt like waiting for a bus in the desert—slow, frustrating, and confusing 🏜️⏰. This location is now on my “never again” list 🚫. Do better! 🌭⏳😑🙄🍔⏰👎👵👍🍅✨⭐️

Got whataburger for dinner and got a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings, the onion rings were great, but then I open my burger and this is what I get, the patty looks like it was dropped on the ground and stepped on multiple times, it's extremely thin compared to what it usually is, i wouldn't recommend eating here unless your vegetarian. And also these tarrifs hitten hard!!!

I abhor fast food but needed to squat a bit while my car was being serviced. The Honda serviceman recommended the breakfast option. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Tasty. Great service. Clean indoor seating.

Review Caption: The breakfast looked like it had potential, but the flavor ain’t follow through all the way. 🥴 Full Review: I got the pancakes and sausage with the biscuits & gravy box. Pancakes were decent but needed more fluff and less rubber. Sausage had a little bite, not bad. But the biscuits and gravy? Man… lukewarm, under-seasoned, and the texture was off. I expected more from a southern staple like that. Service was cool not rude but definitely not warm. Just doing the motions. Atmosphere? Typical fast food vibe. Nothing too wild, just could use a little energy or upkeep. It wasn’t the worst, but it wasn’t the “wake me up for this again” either.

Nestled in the heart of downtown, Filtered is a modern coffee haven that offers more than just your average caffeine fix. This charming café features an impressive selection of classic coffee drinks, international brewing techniques, and a delightful array of loose-leaf teas and Italian sodas. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by its stunning red brick architecture, wooden furnishings, and high ceilings that create a spacious yet cozy environment.
First time visiting after remodeling. We absolutely loved the renovated store. Had an Iced earlgrey+lavender latter and fell in love with it. Sweet (but not too sweet) and aromatic flavor! They are located in heart of Mckinney downtown and that is a "huge" plus! It is absolutely a must stop when visiting downtown of Mckinney. Will definitely come back over and over!

The veggie quiche was simply divine! I absolutely adore the coffee beans they used; the cappuccino was a classic delight. Shop Looks small from the outside, but it’s surprisingly spacious and offers ample seating options, including chairs and sofas. The baristas are also supe cute. 💕

Filtered is by far my favorite coffee shop in McKinney (and we live in Plano, so it's worth the drive). Great quiche, and great atmosphere to work. We're really excited for their remodeling. Pictured is the Earl Grey & Lavender Cold Brew offered during McKinney's Spring Coffee Crawl. Definitely will be ordering this from now on!

★★★★★ Exceptional Pour Over Experience with the "Lumen" I just visited Filtered Coffee under its new ownership and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. I tried their “Lumen" pour-over, a single-origin Colombian coffee with tasting notes of guava, cheesecake, Golden Delicious apple, and pear**. The flavor profile was bright, and beautifully balanced. The fruity sweetness of guava and pear shone through, followed by a subtle note of cheesecake. The barista Ally, clearly took care in the preparation, making it a truly enjoyable cup. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the new ownership seems dedicated to quality and craft. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their offerings! **Highly recommend** to any coffee lovers in the McKinney area looking for a specialty brew done right.

Filtered was truly a gem. I had their matcha with strawberry (if I recall correctly), and it was so good that I genuinely considered driving an hour just to have it again. Even though I usually avoid coffee, I did try a sip of my friend’s drink—and it was excellent. You can tell they know what they’re doing. It turns out they’ve even won awards for their coffee, and I can absolutely see why. The café is located in downtown McKinney, which made the experience even better—after enjoying our drinks, we got to walk around and explore the charming area. Overall, it was a fantastic spot for both quality drinks and atmosphere.

First time being here, I was greeted and immediately felt welcomed. The staff are super sweet and their strawberry matcha is out of this world good. Not bitter or grassy, but smooth and sweet. Definitely worth coming in and cooling off during summer. Lots of space to sit to talk or study. Very clean and comfortable!

Great location. I frequent this location 1-2x a week as it’s close to where I work. It’s always clean. The order is always correct. It’s timely. It’s the service that puts it over the top for me. After my burger was made wrong I had to drive back to have it remade and I guess out of retaliation burger was remade with mustard that I did not ask for and made so sloppy I had to reassemble it myself and had what appears to be a purposely squished bun this location was my go to Location because of bad service at the one right by my house, but it seems I can’t even go here anymore also, rude comments were made, and the manager on duty she was laughing I wanted them to add lettuce they barely put any on and it looks like they drizzle grease all over it. Honestly, I’m not gonna eat it because I don’t trust these people. It was supposed to be a sweet and spicy burger with added lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles With buns toasted on both sides this is easily the worst burger I have ever received from the franchise and they forgot my bacon

I’ve came to this particular whataburger in McKinney 3 times and every single time they mess up my order. I literally ask for easy mustard and pickles only and all 3 times they have put everything on it. I understand things happen and mistakes happen but for it to be 3 times that tells me they are listening what so ever, I will not be coming back to this location even though it’s down the street from me. I’ll go to the other whataburger that gets my order right especially when it’s a super SIMPLE BURGER.

Whataburger, a beloved fast-food chain that originated in the 1950s, is known for its mouthwatering burgers, some of which are stacked high with multiple patties. As a European traveler finally experiencing this Texas treasure, I was thrilled to visit one of their locations. The friendly staff member Zachary made my visit even more enjoyable by guiding me through the menu and ensuring I felt at home.
This is my 3rd visit to this location and I am very impressed with the service. Tonight I had a late night meal and Bella in the window greeted me with a smile and was very friendly. My fries were fresh, my burger was fresh, my sprite was crisp. I notified Alisa the manager of how well her shift was running and I appreciate it! Great job tonight night shift. I love good service and fresh food and you guys deserve the credit. Thank you!

While the service can be hit or miss, I’ve grown to like their food after a rather long period of not eating there since I’ve moved to Texas. Their fries are good and I also really like their chicken strips, which to me are on par with DQ’s strips. I also like the look of this location that faces the highway plus their orange esthetic looks nice. I don’t get to come out this direction often, but next time I do o will definitely consider eating here again. Hopefully next time they’ll cook the fries better when I order them since they are initially cold but thankfully they did give me hotter fries which tasted good.

The quality of food prep and packaging is at the all time worst. Workers at this location do not take pride their work not consider the fact others would like their food delivered and presented properly. The manager here has no standards nor is checking periodically to assure quality.

Is it true that Whataburger is a Texas-only chain? 🇺🇸 As a European, I’ve always wanted to try it — and I finally got the chance at this location. Dream come true! 🍔🔥 Big shoutout to young gentleman Zachary, who was super friendly and welcoming. He took the time to walk me through the menu and made sure I felt right at home. I went with a burger loaded with jalapeños 🌶️, plus onion rings, fries, and a drink — and wow, it definitely lived up to the hype. Delicious, filling, and full of flavor. Totally worth the wait!

I slid into the booth, still a little dazed from the long drive, and before I even had time to take off my jacket, the smell hit me—warm, toasty bread, sizzling beef, and that sweet, tangy aroma of Whataburger ketchup. My order came out fresh, the burger stacked high with juicy patties, crisp lettuce, and cheese melting into every corner. The first bite was everything—soft bun giving way to that smoky, savory flavor that made my whole body sigh in relief. It wasn’t just food; it was a moment of peace, a reminder that no matter how tired I was, there was always a place that made everything taste like home. Later that week, I went back, this time with friends. We piled into the booth, laughter bouncing off the walls, fries scattered across the table like confetti. Someone swore by spicy ketchup, someone else swore they’d never touch it, and I just kept biting into my burger, savoring every perfect combination of flavors. The world outside could wait—inside Whataburger, time slowed down. We talked until our drinks ran dry and the last fries disappeared. Walking out into the night, the neon sign still glowing behind us, I knew this wasn’t just a fast-food stop. It was my place, our place—the kind of spot you keep coming back to, because somehow, it always feels like the first time.

They're not going to make it for very long like this. The staff makes you feel like you barged into their kitchen and bothering them. It took me some time to convince them I have an online order waiting for me there, they don't know how to read their own online orders, it's 2025, get with the program. The floor is covered in a nice layer of cooking oil or butter. Grilled cheese sandwich tastes like microwaved plastic

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in mouthwatering chicken sandwiches and nuggets, complemented by a variety of salads and sides. During my recent visit, I was delighted by their crispy potato fries, which were an instant hit with my kids—they simply couldn't get enough! We also indulged in the Cookies & Cream milkshake, which my daughter described as creamy and rich; it’s definitely a treat you shouldn't miss.
First time at this location as going onto errands in Allen. Came for new menu item and old favorites. Interior just like many others; clean and table/booth seating. See photos. Staff was very diligent helping serving customers. I think most customers used the drive-thru. Extra bonus found shaded parking spot next door on hot sunny TX afternoon.

I recently visited Chick-fil-A and had such a wonderful experience! Their **potato fries were absolutely flavorful**, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—an instant hit with the kids! They couldn’t get enough and kept asking for more. I also ordered the **Cookies & Cream milkshake**, and my daughter couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. Creamy, rich, and perfectly blended—definitely a must-try! During the holiday season, I tried their mint-flavored milkshake, which was just okay for me, but this time, I sampled their **summer peach milkshake**, and wow—it’s a game-changer. A very kind employee offered me a sample, sensing I was hesitant to order it, and I’m so glad she did! The **smooth, creamy blend of peach** was delightful, and the small bites of real peach added a nice touch. Refreshing and light, yet full of flavor—it’s definitely a summer hit! Great food, friendly service, and seasonal treats that surprise in the best way—Chick-fil-A never disappoints!

I frequent this establishment abt 3x's a month. After placing my order last week, I remembered I left my cards in my husband's vehicle. I found $10 in my console. Luckily, my meal was only $8.11 When paying w cash you must pay @ the window. I'm so accustomed to paying w a card, until I grabbed my food, thanked the gentleman & drove away. By the time I reached the traffic light @ Custer, I realized I didn't pay... I went bck to do so & the young lady told me they had already taken care of it. I said, "I'm here to pay. I drove away..." She said, "No worries, we took care of it for you. Thank you for returning!" My heard was so full & overjoyed, I could hardly eat. At that point, it wasn't abt the money. It's how Chic fila is more than just moving the lines out of the drive through faster. They really have core values in so many other areas! I'm very appreciative for their customer service- ALWAYS!! Oh, and yes, my food was perfect as well! 10/10

Starbucks, the iconic coffeehouse chain hailing from Seattle, has become synonymous with quality brews and a cozy atmosphere. Recently, I had an unforgettable experience at one of their locations that truly exemplified what makes this brand special. As soon as I stepped inside, the inviting scent of freshly brewed coffee enveloped me, creating a warm ambiance perfect for relaxation or catching up on work with their complimentary WiFi.
Starbucks has long been a household name when it comes to coffee, but my recent experience at one of their locations truly set a new standard for excellence. I walked into the cozy, welcoming environment, greeted by the familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee, but what made this visit extraordinary was not just the quality of the coffee—it was the exceptional customer service provided by Kaitlin. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, Kaitlin was there with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that instantly made me feel valued as a customer. It’s rare these days to find someone who not only knows their job inside out but also makes an effort to connect with each customer on a personal level. Kaitlin was that person. She took the time to ask about my day, recommended a few drinks based on my preferences, and even offered insightful suggestions to enhance my usual order. Her knowledge of the menu was impeccable, and her passion for coffee was evident in the way she described each option. As someone who frequents Starbucks, I’ve had my fair share of good and bad experiences, but Kaitlin’s service was unparalleled. She went above and beyond to ensure that my drink was made perfectly to my liking. When I asked for a slightly adjusted version of my usual order, she didn’t hesitate to accommodate my request and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. It’s this attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile that truly set her apart. Moreover, Kaitlin's ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of service was impressive. Even during a busy rush, she handled multiple orders with efficiency and grace, all while keeping a calm and friendly demeanor. Her positive energy was infectious, and it was clear that she took pride in her work and in making sure every customer had a great experience. The ambiance of the store was also worth noting. It was clean, well-organized, and had that signature Starbucks charm that makes it the perfect spot to relax or catch up on work. The seating area was comfortable, with plenty of natural light streaming in, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours, sipping on a delicious latte while reading a book or chatting with friends. But what truly made this visit stand out was Kaitlin. Her dedication to providing top-notch customer service is something that every establishment should strive for. It’s employees like her who make Starbucks more than just a coffee shop—they make it a community. I left the store not only with a fantastic cup of coffee but also with a positive experience that I’ll remember for a long time. In a world where customer service often feels rushed and impersonal, Kaitlin’s approach was a refreshing reminder of the impact that great service can have on a customer’s day. I can’t recommend this Starbucks location enough, and I’ll definitely be returning, not just for the coffee but for the outstanding service that Kaitlin provided. She is a true asset to the Starbucks team and embodies the very best of what the company stands for.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but the service was off. I ordered an iced brown sugar shaken espresso (my usual order w/ no modifications). The first time it was made with no brown sugar sweetener so I took it back and said it was only coffee and milk. The girl asked how many pumps I wanted and I said I wanted it just as it comes. She said ok and put a lot of pumps. It was too sweet so I took it back and asked to have it made just as it comes she proceeds to tell me that it’s a semi sweet drink and i said I know b/c it’s my usual order and I want it just as it comes. They remade it and it was basically just milk and sweetener with no coffee this time. Uggggh I was over it at that point.

I come into Starbucks every morning before work and order my usual drive on the app on the way. Today is my birthday so I was extra happy today well I ordered my coffee 15 minutes in advance per usual because I don’t want to be late for work. Not only was my drink not ready I literally went to sit in the car to take a phone call for 10 minutes came back and they said oh thought you left so we didn’t make it! It’s a mobile order!!! I don’t have to be present you should have made the drink even if I was inside the store or not. What a great way to start my birthday off! I’m highly disappointed! It wasn’t even busy as normal! Please do better Starbucks

This is by far one of the best Starbucks locations in McKinney. The early morning crew staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I will Gladly walk in in person to this location vs a drive through for good customer service. Every person working the morning of 9.3.25 deserves recognition for their hard work and kindness

Coffee tasted awful and gave me a headache. Got my normal caramel hot latte so dont know how that was possible. Even as an ex barista for years I couldnt figure it out. They forgot one of my items for my takeout order and the other was melted due to it all just kinda being shoved together. Not a fan. Buyer beware. Bad location

Waited 20 minutes for ONE DRINK. Was told there was 9 orders on the queue… don’t accept online orders. Went and ordered in person and that was made faster than the online orders. It ended up the order was already made and they failed to check to see if it was made before telling me it was 9 orders ahead of my online order.

Thank you for sharing the details. Here's a professional and clear comment you can use to express your dissatisfaction: "I had a disappointing experience at Starbucks today. I ordered a hot espresso and a hot latte, but I received iced versions instead. When I pointed it out, the staff showed little concern and didn't apologize for the mistake. I expect better service and attention to customer requests. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality of service in the future." Her name was alysa

Benny's Bagels is a delightful café nestled in McKinney, where the aroma of freshly baked bagels fills the air. This charming spot specializes in handmade bagels that boast a perfect blend of chewiness and crispness, complemented by an impressive array of flavored cream cheeses. Whether you're craving a classic breakfast sandwich or something more adventurous like Salmon Lox on a sesame bagel, Benny's has you covered. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making each visit enjoyable.
My second time here. This has immediately become one of my favorite places. It’s very homey yet open, and extremely well maintained. The staff are kind and professional. Also, the salmon lox bagel sandwich is incredible, perfectly fresh. Just a really pleasant place to be.

I got the Salmon Lox on a Sesame Bagel. The salmon was a ticker cut than normal and quite tasty. I was concerned the salmon would overpower the rest given the amount on the bagel, however the capers and red onion helped keep the sandwich balanced. The atmosphere was adorable. 3.5/5

I’ve been here a few times and have always enjoyed the bagels. I bought a dozen this time, but unfortunately found a hair baked into one of the bagels. The hair was partially baked into the bagel, so it’s clear the hair came from a staff member preparing the bagels. This raises concerns for cleanliness and hygiene standards.

By far the best blueberry bagel my fiancée has had in a long time. We love that you can do a classic bagel or a decked out sandwhich on a bagel. We enjoy their peanut butter and jelly bagels. It was our Thursday morning breakfast date for a long time. It was so nice to enjoy coffee and relax before starting a busy work day. Everyone in here is friendly and willing to provide suggestions for trying something new.

This place is pretty popular, there were people there before they were even open, I took that as a good sign. Ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich. The food was good, especially the croissant. The portions were decent, but it's something that can hold you over for a few hours.

Neighborhood place. Family run. Delicious bagels. Homemade, yummy choices of cream cheese. We love the bagels and low in sesame bagel. They make great smoothies with protein powder and coffee as well. It is our go-to breakfast place.

This place is a very average, but satisfying establishment that's known for its cream cheese. I ordered the Early Riser with a Jalapeño bagel and added bacon and avocado with a hash brown patty. I wanted the patty on the bagel, but they decided to not do it then I noticed the hash brown patty was burned on a side, so they're pan seared, not fried. The bagel was very fluffy and had a strong jalapeño taste, but it was almost not spicy at all, I was fine with that. The eggs were very fluffy, which were probably my most favorite part. The rest of the bagel tasted average and very mild on all spices. It's ultra basic and good to start your day on something light, but I'd definitely recommend trying their flavored cream cheeses for more flavoring unless you prefer basic and simple. They have a lot of options and combinations that are ready to have before work. Yeah it was average, but tasted fine, so it worked out for me, they make them very fast so that's a plus.

Got a BEC SPK on an everything bagel and it was a bit on the dry side. Also got a bacon with scallion cream cheese on a NYC bagel and that was much more satisfying and flavorful. Would go back if I was in the area but wouldn’t travel from Aubrey to this location. Great friendly service and the spot has a classical deli feel.

Today I ordered an iced americano here after working out. When I first ordered, the person who was ordering talked about a drink other than the coffee I wanted, so I talked about the Venti iced americano again and tried to pay for it. The woman told me about a different drink I said again, " Venti Iced Amercano." The woman who was taking my order told me to wait a little longer and gave me the drink right away. I thanked her and drank the coffee I ordered and found that what was so shocking was a drink other than the coffee I ordered. It was like... sugary coffee, not sweet, but bitterly sweet, so I couldn't drink much more. I was so angry that I was going to tell her that I got the wrong order again, but I didn't want to go back and couldn't finish it and I had no choice but to throw it away. The manager here needs to retrain the staff here. Can the staff who received the order, the staff who made the drink by looking at the order ticket, and even order and make the drink that the customer doesn't want?

They are always asking people to use their stars. Today they asked my mom to use them even though I gave her explicit instructions not to use them as i was saving them to use on a vacation. They always have different employees also. It’s annoying. Now i don’t have the stars. I prefer other coffee companies in Hawaii, Korea and Japan. Another reason to leave Texas. If someone wants to use their points. They would do it. They don’t need to worry about peoples points.

I ordered a venti iced Carmel macchiato and the drink was not filled up to the venti size instead I received a venti cup with a tall drink. When calling the store to just let them know the person who helped me was very rude and dismissive as if I was bothering her. I paid $13 for this drink this is unacceptable. This particular McDonald's also features a vibrant play area reminiscent of the 90s, perfect for families or anyone looking to unwind in a spacious setting.

The food is always hot and fresh never cold or old These employees strive for the best customer service and exceed any of the McDonald's I have ever been to. The gentleman at the front is always kind and welcoming & makes sure the food is exactly what I order. I went, specifically to try the new chicken crisper, with the chili sauce. I heard good things about the sauce/chicken combination. Got there, only to discover that that sauce is no longer an option. So I had to get sauce elsewhere. That's not something I feel I should have to do. I will not be returning. I'll go to Popeyes, instead. They didn't discontinue their signature sauce, served with their chicken dippers. Thank you mcdonalds corporate, for making my choice quite easy.

The food is consistent - but the workers have a serious lack of customer service. I avoid this location now because of the bad attitudes and eye rolls just by interacting with a staff member. They purposefully ignore customers, brush past them waiting in line, and scoff when you have a request. Especially Oscar, the manager, is one of the worst examples. McDonald's is much better than this overall. Shame on this location and it's managers.

You know, if you are watching calories, these burgers are not that high in calories. Skip mayo, cheese ot sauces, and its a pretty compact meal. I think the egg mcmuffin is a good balance of protein, carbs and fat. 300 calories is great, and don't overeat. With that said, i still kindaI miss the old McDonalds when they had all the burgers ready to go with few special requests by patrons.

The staff at this Starbucks location is great and welcoming, and the overall vibe is awesome. It was a bit busy when I visited, so we had to wait a little to find a spot to sit. The tables weren’t very clean, so we ended up wiping them down ourselves before sitting. Overall, it was an okay experience!

It’s absurd that they placed my lunch AT THE REGISTER instead of the pick up station. I have never been to any other Starbucks location that has done that before. I had to wait for the person ordering at the register to move away from my food.

Honestly, this is the worst location I’ve ever been to. 8 out of 10 times, my order is wrong. This time, when I was handed what was supposed to be a cold brew with sweet cream on top, it was literally just an iced latte. When I asked about it, the window associate said, “That’s how it comes.” I’ve been ordering this drink for years, and it has NEVER looked like that—it’s always separated when you first get it. I’m not usually picky, and I almost never leave poor reviews, but this is the ninth time in a row I’ve received the wrong order at this location. Please do better. Edit: I do want to make sure that it’s clear, I do not want any team members involved to be penalized for the service today. especially the window barista. i really do not think it’s their fault. i think this is poor management.

Beautiful space with a great atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee. However, I was very disappointed by the service from a barista named Casey (as indicated by her name tag). She made no effort to smile, spoke only in the bare minimum, and looked at me with suspicion, as if I were doing something wrong. It was an unpleasant experience. I also noticed her treating other customers in the same cold manner, including a boy who looked about 10 years old. At the same time, she was very friendly and chatty with a few regular customers, so perhaps she’s just shy. Still, if someone is working in customer service, that kind of behavior needs to be addressed — or they shouldn’t be put in a customer-facing role. On a positive note, the other staff members who were preparing drinks were all kind and welcoming. This isn’t a complaint, but a sincere hope that things improve.
S K — Google review
We mobile ordered for drive thru and we accidentally pulled straight through without stopping at the order taker, which had a sign on it that says "Stop here if you need help ordering", so we thought we didn't need help ordering because we had already ordered online. We understand that we made a mistake but the staff handled it in a rude and unprofessional way. The first barista nicely asked us to stop at the order taker next time and then a second barista came to the window and she very rudely told us not to do that next time because she was working on other drinks. They had one of our drinks ready anyways, and had just skipped over the second one anyways to make someone else's drink. When we received our drink which we ordered with cold foam on it, the cold foam was pouring out the top of the cup and my drink had hardly any cold foam in it at all. My matcha was also very chunky and just not well made.

Whataburger, a beloved fast-food chain that has been serving up delicious burgers since the 1950s, is known for its mouthwatering creations, including towering burgers stacked with multiple patties. Recently, during National Whataburger Day's special $0.75 promotion, the staff at one location faced an overwhelming rush of customers. Despite the hectic atmosphere and some frustrated patrons, the dedicated team remained committed to providing excellent service.
***PROMOTION OR NON PROMOTION THIS IS THE BEST WHAT A BURGER IN COLLIN COUNTY*** Each time has been a 5 star experience. The dining area is always clean, the food is always fresh, and the team is courteous, accommodating, and very customer service orientated. Yesterday during the .75 promotion the manager (Sophia) and OP (Brandon) were working the line with their staff, the front had tickets falling to the ground with orders. Despite the lines in the drive thru and out the front door the lines moved steadily and efficiently. The food was fresh and exactly as ordered. I was especially impressed with how management and the team handled the stress level. IT WAS BUSY! Thanks for the great experience and keep up the hard work!

During my recent visit to one of their locations, I was struck by the cleanliness and beautiful decor that set the perfect backdrop for a cozy dining experience.
I’m currently in the hospital at Baylor down the road, I’m on a liquid diet currently and so I called the store spoke with the General Manager (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) and asked if I sent my little sister down if they could blend the soup for me. The manager did just that as well as was super nice to my sister. Thank you sir!!

My husband and I first came to this location in the second last week of September. That day, our sandwiches were prepared by McKenzie, who built awesome sandwiches for me my husband. McKenzie paid close attention to every request on the order. She was also extremely polite and good-natured. In response to my request, she also cleaned the counter and changed her gloves prior to constructing our sandwiches. Due to McKenzie’s outstandingly amazing interaction with us and the specific care with which she constructed our sandwiches, my husband and I returned to this location 4 more times. Unfortunately, all subsequent visits were average/below average. We did not get to see McKenzie again. Each time something was either missing from our sandwiches or was minimally present. The last time we were there, the lady at the register was rude, untrained, and unable to take the order correctly; instead of apologizing for her inability to do so, she was harsh. After a while, we realized that we had been overcharged; then the General Manager/ franchise owner came to our table but did not apologize. Instead, in a matter of fact voice, he told us that it was a very small amount and told us to get something sweet. When we declined, in a sour voice he said that he would just return the overcharged dollar amount. After that, we just did not feel like returning to this location - incomplete sandwiches coupled with poor overall customer service from some of the staff and the management. We’d rather drive to a different Panera location. Of course, McKenzie was exceptionally outstanding.

I never have a problem with the quality of food here but the past couple of times I’ve come there is a guy that just gives absolutely bad service. He’s an older guy wears a blue shirt has an accent. I’m sure he’s one of the managers. When I came inside, I bought a bread bowl and asked if they could slice it. And he told me no, but he put a circle in the top. I said out loud I guess I can cut it at home and he kind of just gave me a weird look and walked away. Today I went to the drive-through and his voice was just terrible “ are you a Panera member?” This was in the spot where you do the drive-through order. Then when I got to the window, he just said here and is handing me a drink and that was it basically shoved it in my hand and was like go. I’m sorry, but if this is who you have managing, that’s terrible. The fact is when I do come in all the other employees are smiling and greeting me except for him. He’s the only person there that looks like he does not want to be there and that’s a very bad image in a place where you want families to come.

Stopped in for a working lunch. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong, unpleasant odor — something like wet carpet or a bathroom issue. I placed a to-go order so I could have everything already packed in case I didn’t finish it. The self-order kiosks were nasty, with crusted food and other dried, unidentifiable debris. One even had a fly resting on it. There were flies flying around the dining area, and several tables were still dirty. I ended up eating in my car and working from a nearby coffee shop. Please do better. Spending $15 on a meal should come with an environment clean enough to sit and eat in peace. Thanks!

Zero star review. First in the drive thru I was greeted and asked for a min then 10 seconds later was greeted again and asked the same questions I had already been asked like I was a new vehicle in drive thru. They got our order wrong, we wanted the stuffed Mac and cheese sandwich but got 2 mac and cheeses and one was half full and the other 3/4, $10 ea for this Mac and cheese btw and not even full. The chicken Caesar salad had like 3 pieces of chicken in it, the teriyaki meal had hardly any food in it. I’ll be DEMANDING a refund tmrw!

I walked into a beautiful location not just decor the place was soo clean. I was also greeted by a wonderful man his name was Dwight. We took my order and was so kind definitely made my experience worth while since I haven’t been to Panera in a while. We even talked a bit. Also the other employees were just so nice and good at what they were doing. Getting my order done in the perfect amount of time aswell. Just a great overall experience. I will most definitely come back to this location 😁

Nice place for brunch. We had a small wait but it was a Sunday late morning. The drinks were refreshing and sweet. The food was excellent and good portions. The million dollar bacon and potatoes were our favorite. We had actually tried another restaurant but it was closed so we stopped and tried here. It was a good change we will try again.

Went in for quick breakfast on Saturday morning. Wasn’t too busy able to get a table, eat and get out in 30 mins. Best of all Food was terrific.

Like the other locations of this chain, this is a friendly spot for a meal. They have seasonal specials, decent coffee, and refreshing beverages. We like the eggs Benedict and their farmhouse hash. Note that they have a few boozy beverages, but they are premixed and served from a cute glass bottle. The atmosphere is family-friendly and easygoing. Large parking lot with somewhat narrower parking spots, but plenty of areas to park in case you're concerned about door dings.
Ice Q — Google review
Not surprised that the shrinkage in staple items continues owing to key factors beyond the control of management. However, there should be an extra effort by the staff to be cheerful to new customers. Why would I return if the decline in service keeps pace with the decline in portions? I guess the next stop is to use smaller plates. This would work well with the "Bennies" because even the eggs have shrunk. The Blazing Dragon and Purple Haze were mostly ice cubes. The Tri-Athlete had abundant filling (compared to every thing else that we ordered) but when one cannot even get to request the preserves for the shriveled toast it was probably a wrong choice on my part. Similarly the Pumpkin Pancake was large in diameter but not something that our party would order again. Since service was sub-stamdard, we were not surprised that coffee wasn't refilled. After all, the staff tandem asked us "is everything OK?" from five feet (sic) away and didn't bother to wait for our measured response.

My wife and I have not been to this location! It has a beautiful ambiance. But it was pretty loud so it was hard to hear our conversations. We came on a Saturday morning so it was the breakfast rush. My Farmhouse Hash was excellent! And the code is amazing as always. My wife’s waffles were great too. One of our friend’s egg’s Benedict had too much lemon flavor, but that’s ok. Our server Kadence was really attentive and she did a great job!

Not a great experience. First not a single friendly face on any of the servers who passed my table. Each one had a look of disgust or annoyance in their expression. I also ordered the Parma skillet with eggs over easy and they came obviously over hard. I was able to get the attention of a different server and asked for over easy eggs which came very quickly. I like a more friendly welcoming atmosphere, not one where it seems like every conversation is the cause of annoyance.

Whataburger, a beloved fast-food chain that has been serving up delicious burgers since the 1950s, is a must-visit for anyone craving a satisfying meal. Their menu features an array of options, including mouthwatering burgers stacked high with multiple patties and unique flavors like the sweet and spicy bacon burger. The quality of their food shines through; each burger is crafted with care, featuring perfectly cooked patties nestled in soft, fresh buns topped with just the right ingredients.
I went to this Whataburger today and got a number 2 hands down, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The patty was cooked perfectly, the bun was soft and fresh, and all the toppings were just right. Everything tasted like it was made with care, not just thrown together like at some other places on top of that, the customer service was amazing. The staff was super friendly, and welcoming, and made sure everything was right with my order. It really made the whole experience even better. Great food and great people can’t ask for more than that Also great managers. I’ll definitely be back soon!

The food was good but the cashier was extremely rude. I’m very patient and understanding with fast food workers but immediately the girl gave me attitude and sass. Her tone was very demeaning and it seemed like her doing her work was a big inconvenience. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked for condiments.
Brandon I — Google review
This just happened again, and it has been one time too many (like 20). We ordered a Coke. Get home and it is a Diet Coke. The workers need to pay closer attention to detail. I have thrown out dozens of drinks that I paid for, because your workers insist on giving out Diet Coke.

As a person who moved to Texas from the northwest, I don't have the local bias for Whataburger that others do. It's a good hamburger. My favorite is the sweet and spicy bacon burger, and when they decide to put it back on the menu, the chicken fajita Taco believe it or not. That was my go-to during my days of trying to lose some weight. Fries are great when they're hot. Milkshakes are better than most others. The only challenge you have is very long wait times in the drive-thru. It's understandable because they make everything hot and fresh, but there's got to be a way to make that line move a bit faster. If you're in Texas, give it a try. But know that they don't put a lot of condiments you might think you need on your burger, but they have the best ketchup in the world.

Wow! Thank you for my late night treat. Tonight’s breakfast taquitos were so yummy and brought me back to my college days 20+ years ago for a delicious late night snack. Whomever was on cooking duty, did fantastic. Perfect tortilla, egg, cheese and bacon ratio. Don’t forget the picante! Keep it up☺️

Mosa is the worst Manager that’s I’ve ever come across! No customer service skills, can’t get nothing correct, rude, belittling and act sassy on top a little zesty if you know what I mean. While enjoying their famous French Fries, you might occasionally find them not cooked to perfection, but the overall charm of McDonald's continues to draw in visitors seeking comfort food on-the-go.

Looks like they are understaffed. The workers look like they are putting minimal effort into a pretty small line. I waited around 10-12 min for 2 large teas. Before going inside, I wanted to order them via drive through and tried but they weren’t answering their com for 2+ min. As soon as I drove off to go inside, they started to talk.
Emeraldboy — Google review
I’ll start off with the fact that I really don’t eat at McDonald’s very often, but when I do it’s always for their fruit smoothie and/or breakfast. The last few times I have come & gotten the pineapple-mango smoothie I’m consistently disappointed at this fact. It never used to be how it was! I order a large & each time it’s only the amount of about a medium. WHY?? If you’re going to be shady like this at least reduce the cup size so it’s not so obvious. The smoothie itself is pretty good, more sugar than it needs but not a deal breaker. But this deliberate reduction in product but charging full price is just shady. I’m done..

Disgusting handling of food. Drove by for a vanilla cone. They mixed up the order and tried to hand the cone over to the car in front of mine. The guy refused the cone, and there was a moment of convo between the staff and the driver while the staff held onto the cone in the 5000-degree summer heat of Texas. Car left and it was my turn. Drove up to the window and the guy offered me the SAME cone that was already DRIPPING onto his hand. I told him I wanted a fresh one. You know what he did? He took the dripping cone back to the dispenser machine, and flicked the content back into circulation, then made me a new one. Disgusting! It's a shame that McD would hire these people with zero sense of F&B hygiene. Just disgusting.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has been serving up delicious burgers and fries for years. During my recent visit to one of their locations, I indulged in a Filet-O-Fish, paired with a medium coffee and an apple pie. While the sandwich and coffee were delightful—just as you’d expect from any McDonald's—the apple pie was unfortunately served cold instead of warm.
Liked this McDonald - quick service and effective drive thru. Mobile order ahead available and service is good. There’s ample parking outside and restroom is clean. Mcd provides budget value menu and many offers in their mobile app. They serve warm food here and on time delivery.

I ordered a large fries through the kiosk because after 4 minutes standing at the counter (I was the only one) no one took my order. When it was ready, I got the bag, and noticed they had put the fries upside down in the brown bag, after fixing that issue, I realized they had only filled up the large container 1/2 way, about a medium.

They also had this play table for kids:) staff was friendly and welcoming. Will come here again.

We’ve been coming here for over a year. There is no better place for breakfast! The food is always delicious, the service is excellent and everyone truly cares about the customers having a great time. From the moment we walk in the door to the time we pay the check and leave—we’ve never had a bad experience. The restaurant is always clean and bright. Came all the way from Houston to have my birthday breakfast here. We had a longer wait since we were a large group, but they comp'd us some of the Croissant beignets which were promptly devoured. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband loved the cheese curds so much that he got a couple orders to go. A few in our group got the OJ - fresh squeezed and no sugar. I had the baja shrimp omelet which came with 2 sides. I went for grits and gf pancakes. The chipotle hollandaise on the omelet with a little of the house hot sauce was perfection. After my first bite of the pancakes though, I stopped until I could verify that they were indeed gf because I haven't had good pancakes in years. They were tasty - golden, fluffy and the perfect amount of crisp to sustain the syrup. Our server suggested their gf waffle for my next visit and now I'm planning for when I can come back. Our server, Elvis ("like the singer "), was very attentive, prompt and personable. Can't wait to go back!

We adore this brunch house!! It's honestly our favorite in the area. Champagne is our favorite waitress and even remembered our order from months ago. We have not tried a single thing we did not like. We really enjoy the pancake flight. They get really busy so make sure you come early or after rush hour. But they do move pretty quickly, if there is a wait!

This gem is the best breakfast place in the area. The customer service is beyond what I have ever seen in other restaurants. Their gluten free pancakes are exceptional! My wife loved them, that's a hard feat. The food portions are enough to feed a giant, without the loss of flavor. They have a full bar, and I'm not talking about breakfast. And Patricia, our server, was very attentive and kind. She made us feel at home, what a great experience.

Kristian is absolutely exceptional! Every time we visit, she brings an energy and level of service that makes the experience unforgettable. Attentive, warm, and always on top of things — she truly elevates the vibe of the entire brunch spot. And let’s talk about the food: consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Tim is a straight-up G — he clearly knows what top-tier quality and real hospitality look like. This place has nailed the perfect combo of great people and amazing food. Highly recommend! Perfection at its best. This is one of the greatest well oiled ships I’ve been to. Team effort on all fronts. Clean. Efficient. Professional. Polite. Food is cooked with love and you can feel it. Portions are incredible. Come hungry. The design of this interior is fabulous. Without question this location will last and only get a longer wait. No matter the wait, you HAVE to visit this location. Shout out to Olivia for being an incredible server as well.

One of my top brunch restaurants!! The family went out for a late brunch. It was a bit of a wait, but totally worth it! We got Huevos Rancheros, Steak n Eggs, the pancake flight, and a traditional breakfast. The orange juice is fresh pressed, no added sugar. Drinking it was like taking a bite out of an orange! Absolutely loved it. I’m not a coffee connoisseur, but I got a hazelnut latte which was good, just more foam than I prefer. The pancake flight came with very berry, cinnamon roll, and cheesecake pancakes (one of each). The cheesecake pancake, in my personal opinion, was the best! It was also favored by the family along with the cinnamon pancake. I have yet to go to a place who can cook ACTUALLY serve me soft scrambled eggs and Eggcited Brunch house gave me the perfect soft scrambled eggs! Just when I thought “This is the best thing”, I was amazed by yet another thing. The bacon wasn’t hot, kinda room temp and not juicy as I was expecting, but I think that’s the only negative thing I have to say! The food and service is SUCH a delight. I was constantly surprised and delighted: FRESH pressed orange juice, perfectly buttered and toasted bread, perfect eggs, and Elvis was such an enthusiastic server!

Dunkin’ always hits the spot! I recently picked up a sesame bagel and an iced coffee, and it was the perfect way to kick off my day. Went through the drive through to get 2 of the turkey sausage egg and cheese sandwich, first time ordering food and I selected it from the menu that’s out there. It’s a sandwich shown on the menu with an English muffin/bun. I got a really terribly presented, burnt tortilla wraps shoved into one tiny paper baggy lol.

This location needs a complete retraining on how they are to prep and serve food. I've had to go back in multiple times to get them to actually cook the kolaches because they were served FROZEN. They seem to be microwaving frozen food instead of properly cooking it so the bun is hot but the sausage is full of ice crystals from being frozen still. They're either not thawing food properly or not cooking it properly or both.

I was first in line, and it took them 10 minutes to take my order and 5 minutes to fulfill. That's pretty long based on that I ordered regular coffee and the donut that was already ready on the shelf. The donut was ok, place seems to be clean.

Absolute worst Dunkin. First, they forgot my coffee which I had to ask for. Once, I got home with my food I noticed the chicken wrap was missing.. It took over 10 minutes in drive thru to get the food, which was cold by the time we ate. Zero star for customer service and Zero 🌟 for food quality. Never going back to this one. Should've gone to the one on Virginia Pkwy ( they can't toast Croissant properly but at least they get the order right).

Nathalie provided good service and suggested few dishes on the menu. I liked the presentation on the tuna salad plate but not sure i enjoyed its taste. I however loved the onions rings. They offered military discount❤️which its A+, thank you. The manager stopped by to ask if everything is okay and i truly think this is important because it shows, the restaurant cares. It was quiet atmosphere until staff decided to vacuum clean and mopped the floors with customers inside, wth!

It was very cold inside for a breakfast spot, which made it less comfortable to enjoy the meal. Unfortunately, the omelet was quite dry, and the only coffee option available was plain black coffee. On the positive side, the fries were tasty, though the heavy amount of black pepper was a little overpowering.

Keke's Cafe was good...there were a couple of missteps, however the overall experience wasn't bad. The Pancakes were my favorite. Our waitress was very friendly and courteous. If some of the items weren't cold and the fact she forgot two of the items, i would have given 5 stars.

Great experience! Very attentive and polite staff. Brisk service. No wait either and everything was clean! I got the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was flavorful juicy and crisp, the waffle was good. The spicy syrup was fairly tangy which might be hit or miss with some folks. Neither the spicy syrup specific to the chicken nor the normal syrup were warm which is always a nice touch. I got a drip coffee with the chicken snd waffles and the total after tax and tip was 24 (20% tip). I felt full from the meal, but did want just one more chicken tender as they were very good and the three pieces were not very large (but there are also macroeconomic conditions at play). I was offered a cup for my coffee to go which was very nice and appreciated, but it would have also been very nice to get a filled cup instead of pouring my mug into an empty to go cup (as has been my experience at some other local breakfast places). A very good experience overall with some minor notes.

Had a great breakfast here! The food was fresh, tasty and came out quickly. Tina was our waitress and was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Great service and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a spot I will be coming back to. Highly recommend if you are looking for a solid breakfast in town.

Really not worth the wait or cost. Everything is pretty much alacart, and add ons like eggs or meat to a combo are $5 each. Home fries are great, coffee is great! Asked for over-medium eggs and they were so watery and runny, but didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for them to fix. Toast was great! Waffle was NOT good! No flavor and so rubbery it was a task to cut it with a knife impossible to cut with a fork only. But yeah, coffee, home fries and toast were really good!. Go to Waffle House!

I stopped by Keke’s Breakfast Café in McKinney for a weekday lunch, and I’m so glad I did! The interior is fresh, modern, and well-designed, with fun pops of color in the murals that really brighten the space. It has a cool, clean vibe that makes you want to sit and stay awhile—and there’s also patio seating if you prefer to dine outdoors. It wasn’t very busy when I came in, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was plenty of seating available—both booths and tables—so no wait, which is always a plus. I love places that serve breakfast all day, and being able to enjoy breakfast at lunchtime is my kind of treat. I ordered the fajita omelette, subbed the potatoes for a fruit cup, and had wheat toast on the side. The food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The omelette had great flavor, packed with veggies and just the right amount of seasoning. The fruit cup was super fresh, with a bright and colorful mix of oranges, strawberries, grapes, and bananas—a perfect complement to the meal. The server was friendly and attentive, and the lively music playing in the background added a fun, upbeat touch to the meal. The location is also a win—right next to Whole Foods in a shopping area full of new stores. It’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood and a great spot to stop for a relaxed, tasty meal any time of day. I’ll definitely be back!

Starbucks is a renowned coffeehouse chain based in Seattle. It is known for its distinctive roasts, light snacks, and the availability of WiFi. Many people have a strong affection for Starbucks due to their delicious beverages such as the recently introduced "serious strawberry" frappuccino and the "cotton candy drink" from their secret menu. Although Starbucks can be somewhat pricey, it is considered worthwhile if visited occasionally.
The young man that took my order was very patient, kind, and joyful. The young man that brought me my drink was working so hard, taking out the trash, handing out orders, and had such a humble and pleasant personality! Great Starbucks to go to!

Camden sure likes to take his sweet time while everyone around him is hustling and breaking a sweat. The store had someone call off so they were overly busy, the woman barista was working hard to get the drinks made and this guy is slowly moving around, talking and laughing completely oblivious to what’s going on. I bet he has the nerve to try and get a portion of the tips too at the end of his shift.

I ordered an upside Iced Carmel Macchiato and I asked for it not to be stirred! Of,course it was and it was horrible. I will just start making my own coffee. Starbucks isn’t cheap and I just wasted my money.

Very uncomfortable experience. Worst costumer service I have had in Starbucks by far. Please make sure that if you order a drink from here they know to not give you burnt coffee or spoiled milk. Take a sip before walking of to make sure. My mistake was thinking the coffee was good and assuming the best only to try it later and have my husband try it for confirmation that there was many things wrong with it. My husband and I love Starbucks but will not visit this one anymore. For future customer be careful and taste it before leaving. :(

I really love Starbucks! Two of my fave drinks are the new "serious strawberry" frappucchino and the "cotton candy drink" from the secret menu! Starbucks can be a little on the expensive side sometimes, but it's worth it as long as you only go there occasionally! Most of the time, I don't have to wait too long for my drink to be made, unless they're really busy! But they always have nice staff, and good drinks! There are three size choices - tall is the smallest 😁, then there's the grande, and the largest size is the venti. Tall normally satisfies me, and occasionally I'll get the grande, but I never really get the venti. I included a picture of the pumpkin drink I got during the Fall.

This place needs some serious help. Pretty much everyone who is working here seems to be on their first day. Yesterday they gave me the wrong coffee because their Nitro Cold brew machine stopped working, then they didn't know how to refund me the extra they charged me. Today the most experienced employee is working the register and two rookies are making coffee, shouldn't it be the other way around? Everyone was getting their orders messed up. I ended up with a half a cup of coffee because the girls making coffee either didn't know how to steam milk or ran out and didn't bother to make more. She made two cups of chai for the same customer and they were different colors, she kept looking at it for a few seconds to figure out what went wrong, but then decided to give it to the customer anyway. Who was a little perplexed as well because he kept looking at both to se why the color was different. Not sure if he complained or not, but I just walked out based on the experience from a day ago. Everyone looked clueless.

I am standing here on Starbucks , I got here at 7:45 and the blonde cashier with glasses didn’t wanted to take my drink order because she said she needs to close early because she needs to get more cups from the back . I asked her if she could make just one more drink and she just make a face to me , after the lady that was in front of me paid , I was standing there ready to place my drink order and she took her time and started to put trash bags on two of her trash cans . If she was on a really big hurry to close , she should hurry to take my drink order instead of being so rude .

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food chain renowned for its delicious chicken sandwiches and nuggets, complemented by a variety of salads and sides. Visitors often rave about the exceptional service provided by the staff, who go above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. Many patrons have shared heartwarming experiences where employees displayed remarkable patience and kindness, especially during busy times or when customers needed extra support.
Jersilyn and Sarah are always so kind in the drive thru. They remember my name and know my order!!! (Yes I visit daily)- but they just make me feel so special!! Love this location and how friendly everyone is!!!
Julie M — Google review
I recently visited Chick-fil-A and was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered 4 of chicken deluxe sandwiches, expecting the usual high quality, but was instead met with cold, lackluster food. The sandwiches were not fresh at all—the bread felt stale, and it was crumbling so much, and made so much mess in our table. Not the same quality as other locations. This was far from the warm, delicious meal I have come to expect from Chick-fil-A. For a restaurant that prides itself on quality and service, this visit was a major letdown.

Super nice staff. Because my wife was ill, I had all my small children alone today. Normally no problem. But because they could feel it, they were particularly excited. But the staff also noticed it and were very relaxed, patient and helpful in a way I rarely experience. So this trip in the middle of the day was a time to relax ... You hear a lot about Chick fil a. But this surpassed everything I have heard so far. If I had a choice I would give 6 stars.

Had a free sandwich. Made a BigMcChick-fil-A sandwich....it was a bit much... HOWEVER, with a thinner chicken patty on top and bottom, this could be a thing as it would be a bit more filling....maybe call it the big boy... Or the double down... Or the big ma... Lol all those are taken ... the BigChick...

Customer service was horrible. We ordered online asked for order to be ready at 10:30 i got there at 10:32. Manager said they through them all out. I’m not sure I believe that! But order was not ready and i waited almost 25 minutes for it to be ready. What’s the point in ordering with a time of pick up if they go bad after 2 minutes? Horrible. They didn’t want to even speak when I asked the question.

I have gone twice to this location and both times my order has been done incorrectly. Never have I had issues with Chik-fil-a but this location has not been the best. This morning I orders a bacon breakfast bowl via the mobile app. I left with a chicken breakfast bowl. So, I just went back and asked them for the correct bowl, no big deal. No one even apologized they just remade the bowl. I left I just glimpsed at the bowl and saw it had bacon so I took off. When I sat down to eat my bowl I noticed they just added bacon to the chicken. Bowl I had returned. So no effort to even correct the order. Will definitely not be going back.

Jack in the Box is a fast-food haven that offers an extensive menu featuring burgers, chicken, tacos, and breakfast items. One standout dish is the chicken fajita pita, which surprises many with its flavor and satisfying portion size at just 320 calories. Pair it with Frank's Red Hot Buffalo dipping sauce for an extra kick! However, not everything hits the mark; some diners have noted that the fries can be overcooked and greasy tacos may fall apart due to excess oil.

Feedback Regarding Drive-Thru Experience Hello Management, I am writing to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had at your location today. I have been visiting this store regularly through the drive-thru for the past six months and have never faced any issues before. However, today’s incident was extremely unpleasant. 1) I placed an order for Chili Crisp Curly Fries through the drive-thru and was charged $4.10. 2) At the window, I was handed regular curly fries by a female employee (Employee 1). When I mentioned my actual order, she said the Chili Crisp version was no longer available. I agreed to accept the curly fries at first. 3) Since I don’t like curly fries, I politely asked if I could instead order potato wedges without bacon and I pay the full amount ($4.33). She agreed, and I paid for the wedges with no bacon. 4) Another female employee (Employee 2) later confirmed to me at the window that the wedges contained no bacon. 5) However, after beginning to eat, I discovered bacon in the order. I immediately returned to the window and questioned why my clear request was ignored. 6) Employee 1 denied responsibility, claiming I had not asked for no bacon—even though both she and Employee 2 had acknowledged my request earlier. 7) Instead of apologizing, Employee 1 became argumentative, insisting it wasn’t her fault and offering to remake the order but without showing any courtesy or professionalism. 8) I want to emphasize that I was not asking for a replacement at that point. What I expected—and what any customer deserves—was a simple acknowledgment of the mistake and an apology. Courtesy and respect go a long way in situations like this. 9) I also want to note that the two gentlemen who usually serve me at this location are always polite and professional. Unfortunately, today’s experience with the two women at the window was the exact opposite. I understand mistakes can happen, especially during busy times, but it is disappointing when staff respond rudely instead of taking responsibility. I kindly request that this matter be looked into and that proper training or reminders be given to ensure respectful treatment of customers. Thank you for your attention. regards Sai

Pictured here is their Citrus Vanilla Chai, which you absolutely MUST try!

Great coffee spot inside a bike shop. It’s a little hard to find/notice from the street but it sure was worth the find. I was in the area and need a good cup of coffee. I’d already been to a couple others in the area—some better than others. This was definitely one of the betters. I ordered a cappucino and it came in one size (6oz) and was just great. I also ordered a pumpkin muffin that was so yummy and took all my will power to only eat half and save the rest for later. The place is cute but small. So great for working or a coffee date with a friend.

It was very apparent that the food I ordered had already been made and sitting there. The meat patties were dead and dry, the bottom bun was hard from sitting on the hot table for a long time, and I ordered modifications. They no doubt just slapped the mod sticker on the food and pushed it out to cut drive-thru times and keep food costs low.
Jeremy P — Google review
Dear McDonald’s Customer Service, I am writing to report a serious food safety issue that occurred on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at your restaurant located at 1810 W University, McKinney, TX 75069. My son visited this location drive-through and brought home a Quarter Pounder meal for me. After taking my first bite, I immediately realized the burger patty was raw and bloody. I was alarmed and panicked, as consuming undercooked beef poses a serious health risk. I tried calling the store several times, but there was no answer. Concerned for my health and wanting to report the issue promptly, I drove to the location with the food. Upon arriving, I discovered there was no way to enter the building, so I rang the bell at a side window. A young employee came to the window, and I explained the situation, asking to speak with a General Manager. Another woman came to the window, but instead of receiving an apology or concern for the situation, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. She asked for my receipt without even addressing the food safety issue or offering an apology, and when I declined to hand over the raw burger (offering instead to let her photograph it while I held it), she told me I “didn’t have to be rude.” I want to be clear that my tone was calm and justified, especially given the circumstances, and I have a recording of the conversation. I was refunded for the meal, but I left disappointed and disturbed that this occurred at all. I’m extremely concerned about the lack of care and professionalism displayed, as well as the fact that such an uncooked burger was served in the first place. Undercooked beef, or in this situation, uncooked beef, presents a serious health hazard! If I could give - 100, this would be it! The photo does not do justice, and the video I have won't upload. Suggestions: Please ensure that all food is cooked thoroughly to proper food safety standards. I also recommend conducting an unannounced visit to the store, posing as a regular customer, to observe how the staff handle orders and customer interactions firsthand. You may find that certain employees are negatively impacting your franchise’s reputation and overall performance, which in turn slows down revenue.
Raquel — Google review
The food you find here and the time you get your food is average for a high traffic area. So I really don't have any complaints on the food. The service is average as I completely understand the timing of all the orders comming through...I do next expect customer service to be a priority. However, this location has one of the rudest managers I have ever come across. I placed my order online to pick up through drive thru. In my order, I had a plain sundae and an ice cream cone. Did not order 2 cones because I wasn't going to be able to drive with 2 cones in my hand...so I asked the nice lady in the window giving the orders if I can have a extra cone (just the cone, as I had a plain sundae in the cup it comes with). She kindly grabbed all my order and saw her reaching for the extra cone when the manager approached her and took the cone directly away from her hand. The employee was trying to explain my situation. I even reached for my sundae and try to explain that I ordered online and there is no way to get the ice cream and cone sperate which is why I paid for the sundae separately that is a few cents more than if I were to order a cone. I can see the manger moving her hands around, angry demeanor shutting the employee down only to tell her "she is just going to have to reorder." The problem is not the cone. The attitude of this manager was wild...she did not approach the window and explain to me why I couldn't get the extra cone nor gave me the opportunity to perhaps pay for it. The employee came back to the window apologetic. I didn't argue and was never rude. I just thanked the young lady for trying and left. This employee greeted me with a smile. Was willing to go beyond for customer service. I was not trying to get a meal for free...I was willing to pay an upcharge. I hope this young lady is treated right in her work. If this location values service, then some coaching needs to be done starting with thier shift leads.

This location is AWFUL! I ordered pickup for a $5 meal—20 nuggets with a basket of fries—and a double quarter pounder meal. It took them 30 minutes to bring my food out. They forgot all of my fries (1 small, 1 medium, and 1 basket), so I had to get out of the car and go to the window to get them. When I finally received all of my fries and got home, the burgers were cold. The fries were soggy and practically still frozen. Absolutely disgusting! The employees don’t communicate and clearly should not be working in customer service. I highly recommend that no one waste their time or money at this location. The food is bound to make someone sick.
Vicky M — Google review
Need to on drive thru training. When someone. Asks for a sausage EGG AND CHEESE. That does NOT mean just sausage! This McDonald's is a failure to the simplest things.
Jonathan K — Google review
Just stop with the stripped down buildings and give us a regular freaking restaurant. It's not even a bad area; why do I need to ask permission to use the toilet? Concrete cubes for tables and chairs? They don't even look cleanable. And my fries tasted like they never saw any salt. EDIT: Response to the response: You have the information you need. Why do I need to fill out paperwork? Just yank the franchisee's license and be done with it.

Sometimes, I like to grab fast food for myself and everyone at the house on my way home from work. I'm not sure what happened here but I've never had problems before. The last 3 times I've gone through the drive thru, the wait is crazy. There's a young girl at the window who seems overwhelmed or just "out of it" and my orders are always missing things. Nitro cold brew, regular cream and extra white chocolate. They damn near have it memorized at this point and build it exactly how I need it. Came here after boycotting starbucks and theirs is better then, Well priced and tastes way better then dunkin and starbucks cold brew. Keeps you up for hours as well.

Apparently this place is popular there was a 20 min car line being directed by the local Sheriff. There were greeters handing out menus to the cars, and they took our order and offered suggestions. Our drinks were made quickly and well. We ordered a Caramelizer caramel mocha blended with whipped cream and a Tiger's blood strawberry and coconut lemonade blended. Wow the Caramelizer was delicious. It was well balanced not too sweet and the coffee flavor was present but not overpowering. The Tiger's blood was like a snow one slushy. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, but I'm sure kids would love it. The menu has lots of options I look forward to trying a tea on my next visit!

Espresso can’t actually “burn” once it’s brewed, but pouring boiling water directly on top can make it taste harsh and bitter. The better way? Pour the espresso into the hot water instead. This keeps the flavor smooth and balanced without that burnt edge. Next time, flip the pour order and taste the difference! 11:35AM CST SEPT 6, 2025

Absolutely love Dutch Bros! The service is always beyond amazing — the team is upbeat, friendly, and they never miss a beat. Every time I go, the energy is contagious and the drinks are made to perfection. Whether I’m grabbing my usual or trying something new, it’s consistently delicious. It’s rare to find a place that nails both customer service and quality every single time, but Dutch Bros does it effortlessly. Highly recommend!

Such an awesome Dutch Bros! Even with a few cars ahead of us, we got in and out pretty quickly! I tried the pumpkin latte with whipped cream and drizzle on top. It was so good!

Careful pulling in here… they don’t run their lines like other locations so you’ll be waiting. They are rarely outside managing the loves to speed things up. You’ll have to order at the window cause they don’t want to come outside to do orders, so you’ll be waiting a while. Not the location to go to if you’re in a hurry.

Cookie butter blended coffee drink was amazing. Fast service with it being pretty busy.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain known for its signature breakfast offerings and an impressive array of coffee drinks. This particular location stands out due to its consistently excellent service and fresh food. The staff, always friendly and efficient, take pride in their work, making helpful recommendations that enhance the experience. Regulars have noted how they look forward to their visits, especially when greeted by familiar faces like Devon or Tay, who go above and beyond to ensure customers feel valued.
The service I had experienced in the last few months has been impeccable! I’ve gotten into a routine every Monday morning, where I pull up to the drive-through and a guy named Devon already has my coffee perfectly made the way I like it. Week after week. This is amazing service that others should emulate.

Disappointing location service and food! Purchased the $6 deal this morning and immediately tried the hash browns which were oily, soggy and tasted like they were sitting for a while. The croissant was your average, along with the butter pecan iced coffee. The service was poor from the person that took the order in the drive thru to the person at the window. We waited about 2 minutes for our order at the window, you would expect hot and fresh hashbrowns for that wait. Don’t recommend this location.

Excellent Service and Fresh Food Every Time! This Dunkin’ Donuts location is consistently great. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and they go out of their way to make helpful recommendations. Whether it’s trying a new drink or breakfast item, they’re always on point. The donuts are always fresh, and the breakfast combos are hot and satisfying every single time. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The service is quick, even during busy hours, and the team keeps things moving with a positive attitude. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with genuinely great service — but this Dunkin’ does exactly that. Highly recommend!

There is zero service. 8/28/2025. Young lady with braids is manning the drive thru while waiting on us. She is talking to the drive thru ppl and us. She is demanding we pay before she steps away from the register. Is there high crime in this location? Multiple eat & runs? Are we the wrong color? Not coming back here. Zero respect.

Fashion friendly service. The drive-thru is very convenient. Our drinks were perfect and the donuts were fresh. Overall its a typical Dunkin but it has friendly service. The service is what sets it apart. Would reccomend

Their management better see all the bad reviews Worst service, the guy taking the order was impatient. croissants were burnt and one looks like a half bread on a sandwich bread Will never go there again

Disappointed...place is getting worse. 2 years ago I had given 3 stars I believe. But...today, this was not how I wanted to start my hectic day. In the video you can see the place was not busy however the waiting time and the food we got.....was...sad.
