Restaurant
Nestled in a cozy corner, House of Khong is a beloved dining spot that has been serving up delightful Chinese cuisine for years. With its unpretentious decor and warm atmosphere, this restaurant is perfect for both dine-in and takeout options. The menu boasts an array of Asian dishes, but their Chinese offerings truly shine. Ideal for groups, House of Khong features all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner services that are sure to satisfy any appetite.
Had a lovely dinner after a busy weekend here. The food came out quickly, was fresh, hot, well presented, and most importantly tasted fantastic. The staff were also friendly, greeting everyone like they were a regular. Definitely a spot to visit for a fantastic meal in Bendigo.
Jarrod H — Google review
The food was not good. The staff convinced us to take the lunch special which was at a discount but we had to order a lot. and when we couldn’t finish they tell us that we’re not able to take away the remaining. That could have told us earlier. She. I confronted then, they started arguing and getting rude. What is the point of this??? Worst service ever.. is this the kind of customer service you want?? I don’t think so!!!!
Satish P — Google review
I ordered Special Fried Rice, Honey Chicken and house made Spring roll as takeaway. Both dishes had hardly any taste it was disappointing. The spring roll was let’s just say interesting but tasty. I’m not sure whether eating in would be different?

Always great service and delicious food. I have never been disappointed in all the years I have been eating here. The service is next level. Happy to accommodate my daughter's request with a dish which came out perfect. Highly recommend

From the time you arrive, you are made to feel welcome, Jeannie Kong is the loveliest person, she is full of love and gratitude. The food is the best you will find in any Chinese Restaurant, I have been to a lot and this one is the one I always recommend, the prices are very good, the restaurant has a very warm and friendly vibe, it's always been the same, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sad to see negative reviews, post attending for dinner, otherwise we may not have visited and missed out on this amazing place. Staff were so lovely, made you feel at home and that they actually wanted you to be there, not superficially polite - great to chat with. Service was amazing and meals were clean, tasty, piping hot and delicious Best cleanest and freshest Asian cuisine we’ve had in a very long time Nothing was too much for them Hot tip The volcano and death at house of khong cocktails are the go to Thanks so much for having us ❤️

Such an institution. Original family and all generations working together. Really lovely to see the genuine atmosphere. As for the food it is 100%authentic Australian/Chinese food. Yummy!! Large venue no frills. Comfortable and quick.

SHAME ON House of Khong. THE most revolting Chinese style meal I have ever seen and tasted. Cost cutting in ingredients at an all-time low in the restaurant business. The smallest leanest anorexic unpalatable prawn toast of all time. Nothing special about the special fried rice. The scarcity of tasteless minuscule carrot cubes, a few pieces of corn and few red specks the size of desiccated coconut (who knows what that was). No spring onion, no egg and nothing else that makes it a ‘special’ fried rice. I got excited when I found a solitary shrivelled green pea. Oh there was three shrimp pressed on top! Lucky me. The lemon chicken in thick oily batter. The chicken tasted funky like past its date and tough like it had been rolled over by a truck. Was that yummy tangy thick lemon sauce? No no no! It was like water with lemon cordial added. This meal was so vile, that I wanted to give this feedback. Nothing resembling their photos. Take away for me is a special rare treat and what I received was a con.

Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
The Bendigo Dumpling House is a Chinese restaurant that offers a variety of food options. Some customers were disappointed with their experience, as the food was overcooked and lacked flavor. The containers provided were smaller than expected. However, the menu has a wide selection of dumplings and sauces to choose from, as well as affordable lunch options with rice menus. Despite some negative feedback, others found the food to be amazing and particularly enjoyed the Satay dish.
Friendly staff and service well efficient. Foods are reasonably priced and really enjoyed the menus we ordered. If you come and visit, please order sizzling beef, sweet and sour chicken, pan fry pork dumplings, CKT noodles and special friend rice. Highly recommended. Will come back next time. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Melds — Google review
Update 2/8/25: all very friendly and courteous service, and decent prices, but the dumplings have gone dreadfully downhill. Pinkish hue? Boiled and pan-fried. Must be the flour. Meat (pork) was terrible - one bite and it tasted like processed dim-sim meat. Sure, they have pork a well, and usually cabbage or chives, but most places at least use fresh pork mince. These dumplings had the fleshy-bulky feel of processed meat chunks. Only soy sauce in the table. Even the vinegar (mixed with garlic) tasted unusually sweet. These dumplings are cheap, for a reason. Best of paying more for better dumplings in Bendigo. Shame, this place used to be great.
Norman C — Google review
Not bad, but neither cheap nor especially filling, and the taste was just okay. Perhaps we're spoiled for living near Clayton. Attentive service. Sadly not busy even on a busy Easter Sunday in Bendigo. No public holiday surcharge. 30c debit card surcharge and a small percentage credit card surcharge.
David W — Google review
We googled a nice Chinese place in Bendigo and this did not disappoint. The food was outstanding, so easy to order online. Uber eats delivered in a quick amount of time. Will have again next time we are in town.
True M — Google review
Really friendly service, fairly quick turnaround. Fairly expensive, when compared to dumpling places in Melbourne. $10 for 10 dumplings. Slight extra charge for sauce (takeaway only?). I ordered steamed pork dumplings. The soy sauce was unusually sweet - a little off-putting. Otherwise, nice food.
Norman C — Google review
OH MY GOD. This place is wonderful, the service is absolutely amazing. The food is also so good. There's this one guy that works there and every time I go, he always has a big smile on his face, very clear and understanding and a ray of sunshine. The girls that also work there are very very nice and they have great customer service skills. 5 stars well deserved
Phoenix H — Google review
My go to place for my regular fix of “Beef And Tomato” it’s simply the best. Generous serve and the meat is very tender.. also a huge bag of prawn crackers. Thoroughly recommend- I’ve never had a bad take-away from here 😎
Priscilla S — Google review
We visited Dumpling House last night and would like to share some feedback. Positives: • The food was delicious. Areas for improvement: • The restaurant was quite cold, which made it uncomfortable to fully enjoy the meal, which was disappointing as it was a birthday celebration. • The host's demeanour was somewhat unwelcoming upon arrival and throughout the evening. When we inquired about the beverage options, as they were not listed on the menu, she responded with ‘what’s in the fridge’. Our interactions with the host felt somewhat distant, and at one point, I overheard her say ‘what's in the fridge’ to another table when asked about available drinks. It might be helpful to provide a printed or visible list of the drinks available in the fridge, or to include such options on the menu, to enhance the customer experience. Overall, the dining experience was affected by the temperature and the tone of service. Thank you!

Chinese restaurant
Toi Shan Chinese Restaurant, an establishment that has been in operation since the gold rush era, serves traditional Chinese and Thai cuisine in a relaxed ambiance with warm lighting and a spacious bar. Boasting the distinction of being Australia's oldest Chinese restaurant, Toi Shan offers an affordable lunchtime smorgasbord that provides excellent value for customers at $13 per person. The delectable dishes are reminiscent of the authentic flavors experienced during a visit to Singapore, further enhancing the nostalgic dining experience.
The beef on both dishes was really tender: beef ho-fun and sizzling Mongolian beef, the sauces were nice, specially the Mongolian. The deep fried banana and ice cream were also good. Service was prompt. Appreciated the fact there was no music or any source of loud noise present.
Ana M — Google review
We chose the restaurant because it’s purported to be the oldest Chinese Restaurant in Australia. The decor was definitely old school Main Street Chinese, and we didn’t know what to expect. We ordered beef and chicken dishes and some entrees. We were very impressed with the food - it was fresh, tasty and hot. The meats were tender, the veggies perfect, and the preparation was excellent. Recommended for a tasty and historic meal in Bendigo.
Gary V — Google review
I believe this is one of Bendigo’s most iconic spots—and possibly the oldest Chinese restaurant in Australia (though I could be wrong on that). Stepping inside feels like a trip back in time, with its nostalgic decor and charming old-school atmosphere. As for the food, I’d say it’s solid for a regional Chinese eatery, with a clear leaning toward Cantonese-style dishes. Personally, I’m always grateful to have access to Chinese food when I’m far from home. I do hope to see more Chinese restaurants opening up in Bendigo after this place no longer operational, especially those that highlight authentic Cantonese flavours.
Ronny W — Google review
Needs a full refurbishment. May I suggest you petition the staff room, drinks storage and supply cupboard off from main floor. May I suggest a new counter and take the supplies out of the glass cabinet and put them on a shelf on the wall behind the front counter. New floor boards are needed and please get a floor professional to lay them down. Tables and chairs could do with an update and smaller tables in front area would work better and a seating area for takeaway waiting customers would be helpful I think and it would stop them using your dining area for a waiting area. The front counter needs all the paperwork tidied up and not on view. Food was ok. Popular place amongst locals but you need to put money back into the store. Not sure if I was there on a bad night but meals for takeaway getting mixed up on way too many orders. Also pet hate sauces are all watery why is that? I was always worried to eat there as shop is very gruby looking and run down. I gave it a go and my tummy did not handle the food from there too well next day. Didn't eat dinner next day to try and settle tum tum down. Sorry guys but it's grubby and shabby. The servers did try but they seated customers and didn't even give them menus. After a 15 min wait the customer had to come over to the takeaway section and ask for menus. Not at all good enough restaurant service. Please take this criticism as a positive chance for change. You will see more people come through your doors if you fix all these issues up. Oh and 100% get rid of your supply cabinet on the front floor. Do a bench and cupboards set up and shelves on the wall laundry type set up for that area and petition it all off. Your poor staff need a staff room and give them disposable cups and cold chilled water to drink. Their water station is out on front area serving floor😞 fried steak was nice to eat.
PROSPECTOR N — Google review
get yourself there before they close their doors for good. friendly quick service, good wholesome meals. classic no fuss decor Dimmies are better fried than steamed here.
Jordi M — Google review
Absolutely amazing meal and cosy atmosphere. We had the Bird Nest Combination and the Honey Pepper Steak. Can't recommend them highly enough. Will definitely be going back soon.
Grumbles M — Google review
I’ve just read that Toi Shan Chinese Restaurant is shutting down, with their final day set for July 30, 2025. I’m really grateful they couldn’t find a suitable buyer—no one can do what the owners have done for over 70 years here in Bendigo . I loved how genuine the food felt… every dish was fresh and full of flavour, the staff always welcoming, and the place had such a classic, old-school vibe. Truly will be missed.
CJ B — Google review
Amazing food, we stopped in Bendigo on our way to Adelaide and had heard good things about this place. So we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. The homemade steamed dim sim were next level, as were the spring rolls, prawn toast, and satay chicken skewers. Then we had the sweet and sour pork battered and it was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Just a shame that they will be closing down for good in August. Will have to make the 3 hour drive back down before then.

Fast food restaurant
New China Restaurant is a well-established eatery with a spacious dining area and a lively atmosphere. They specialize in authentic Chinese cuisine and even offer karaoke nights for added entertainment. On weekends, they also serve yum cha, providing an opportunity to sample various dim sum dishes. The restaurant exudes an inviting ambiance upon entry, creating an authentic experience for diners. The food is promptly served and impresses with its delightful flavors.
The restaurant was welcoming when we walked in. The inside feels authentic and is very nice. The food came out promptly, and all dishes were very tasty. Prices were satisfactory, but serving sizes could have been larger, especially for the large steamed rice. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are in the area.

Food fantastic. Leaving a solid taste in your mouth hrs after. Fresh and filling. Service, Always polite. And meeting any needs. Delivery time ( give or take order time) 100%. Protein and belly full. 100%. Delivery drivers, always with a smile and in the time given. Mostly early! GREAT JOB TO STAFF AND COOKS!. cheers.

We had a delivery service the honey chicken and chicken chow mein and the fried rice it was absolutely amazing we loved it will continue going back here the service is really good and the food is very very good. We did not mind waiting for the food I'd rather it come fresh and no stress serious I don't know why people complain because at the end of the day the food is really good

Booked delivery for 5.30pm. Delivered 6.05pm rang twice,to find out where order was as I had plans at 6.30pm , hence the reason ordered at 5.30pm. Worker polite on phone. I mentioned to delivery driver (Jason) it's a bit late and got a hostile response of its not my fault it's the shops. I replied it reflects badly on the whole company, and he huffed , no apology and walked off. I wasn't going to write review, but spoken to like that and not taking responsibility for the company as a whole is very bad customer. The customer doesnt need to know internal politics that goes on. Will not order again.
Tracii W — Google review
So, I ordered off menu log at 5.31pm, says on the app it's delivered at 7.05pm, can't call the restaurant, the line is busy all night, i tried for hours. It's just me and my kids at home, granted it's mothers day, they are busy, make toasties for dinner, everyone is in bed, i am almost asleep. 9.15pm banging on my front door, then more banging, its my delivery, sorry we were busy. Now they don't actually use menulog delivery drivers, it's states that on the site, so this is all on them. I understand business is busy but 3hours and 45min after stating it was delivered is so not ok.
Dianne K — Google review
Just ordered for delivery. The driver was nice but the chilli chicken dish was absolutely FLAVOURLESS! Tasted like water and no heat to it! As in chilli heat. The fried rice also bland and paid more for special fried rice. Nothing special in it at all. No prawns now nice bits of yumminess! I’m extremely disappointed! :(

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Chinese dining experience in Bendigo, look no further than Din Fung Dumpling Restaurant. This gem is renowned for its incredible dumplings and diverse regional dishes that truly capture the essence of real Chinese cuisine. The ambiance may be simple, but it’s all about the food here! Din Fung offers generous portions, from their flavorful noodle soups to delightful steamed dumplings like xiaolongbao filled with hot soup.
Had dinner here with the family on our recent visit to Bendigo and I must say it is underrated! The food was really good and was loved by my picky children ☺️ so that’s a really good sign. The service is also good as the staff are really attentive and very considerate when she saw my youngest picking out the veggies on his fried rice she offered to give him some plain steamed rice. That’s really sweet of her. 😍 Everything we ordered is good. We will definitely go back here the next time we return to Bendigo.

Finally found a spot in Bendigo that does custom orders and the taste is impressive compared to other Chinese dishes I’ve had in town. I’ve only tried a little on this first visit, but so far, so good! Definitely keen to come back and explore more of the menu.

Rather quiet which is such a pity. As I really enjoyed the authentic food, and the level of service and consideration. It's a must try, and if you have any questions about the meals. They will explain. The fried rice is soo good.

Best Chinese restaurant in Bendigo. We always eat here when we visit Bendigo. Their noodle soup is always on point! Generous serving of beef noodles with dumplings. We liked everything except the Signature Chicken. Skip ordering that one! This used to be very busy before Covid.

This place has got heaps better since the old bad reviews. It’s the only real place in Bendigo to get Chinese food other than Cantonese. The Szechuan dishes are especially good and the soups are delicious.

Found a cockroach in our food, to be expected when you look around and see the atmosphere in there. Hardly spoke to us and hardly spoke English. Cups were dirty and water tasted like it came from the dishwasher. Needless to say, never coming here again and I’m assuming it won’t be around for much longer if they keep this up

Delivery Restaurant
Khong Dynasty Chinese Restaurant in Bendigo is known for its top-notch Chinese cuisine. Customers rave about the delectable dishes and the restaurant's popularity as a favorite spot in town. While the 'all you can eat' option could benefit from more variety to accommodate a wider range of preferences, particularly for non-seafood eaters, one notable suggestion is to include hokie noodles on the menu.
This place has the best Chinese food in bendigo. The 'all you can eat' before 2pm however should be improved, with more options that cater for a larger share of people. I'e: Me m my family don't eat seafood. Having hokie noodles added would be fantastic.

Worst Chinese I have ever tasted only thing that was nice was the San chow pow but ridiculous price for it 1 piece of lettuce with the meat for $10 the special fried rice wasnt even fried rice it was just bolied rice with a few peas 2 prawns and a small amount of ham, they did replace the rice bit the second was worse.

Incorrect order, noodles tasted bland, sides were old and cold. Prawn crackers, part of the order and paid for, were stale and (pic attached - bag opened but nothing removed). Do not recommend.

I phone ordered was waiting when l got there. Nice and Hot Looked good. Tasted nice could have done with More Flavour. Meat nice but not much to much vegetable than meat . $33 for 2 large containers. Friendly staff especially the cooks all waved hello to me. Nice counter lady.

Apart from the lack of interaction when we order from Menulog, we only had thumbs up until 15 mins after it was delivered. The food is usually acceptable but I was looking forward to the prawn crackers and they arrived stale. Not what we asked for.

Absolutely amazing. Our server for the night was James and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was beautiful and the kids were well catered for. The owner came out a few times and interacted with us all and invited the kids up to feed the fish in the fish tank. Quite sad that we live too far to frequent here but we will be back when we visit bendigo again.

Decided to drop into this restaurant for lunch one Sunday a couple of weeks ago. While the waitress was pleasant, the food and atmosphere were ordinary (terrible music playing in the background and nobody else dining there). We waited at the front counter for a while before having to find a waitress to pay the $70 for our undercooked, poor quality food before we left. Very disappointing.

Very quiet place. Food taste great but not authentic. I think it has been modified to suit local taste. Service is ok but not really great. No one on counter when need to order or pay.
Chandra T — Google review
The mains were nice but the rice was horrible. Ordered special fried rice and it was gluggy, no flavour at all
Leonie B — Google review
Not great. The Deep Fried Duck in (batter and) Orange Sauce seemed stale. I've had worse but didn't enjoy this at all. I didn't have great expectations, which can be a problem but I definitely wouldn't eat here again. Not expensive. The photo of meal is when we were about to leave. Couldn't eat it. Wine was a house dry red, so I won't critique that.
Graham D — Google review
The dishes we chose were very nice, Mongolian Beef, satay combination, hot & sour and steak and mushroom soups. We chose a bottle of Bendigo Waterwheel Cab Sav at $29.90, a bargain! They were very busy with takeaway orders the Friday night we attended but the lovely polite, and attentive staff, coped very well.

Visiting from out of town during Easter. Enjoyed a scrumptious Chinese meal at Jin Yang. Pleasant ambiance, friendly Staff and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a night out. A big shout out to Bernadette for her attentive service.

I am extremely impressed by the flavor. When inquired about the reason for a new menu, the waiter explained that they have a fresh chef. Certainly, the cuisine had a noticeably different and more delicious taste. I will definitely return there soon! This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure. It was wonderful to discover such an exquisite find that has made my stay in Bendigo so enjoyable. The staff is delightful and the food is exceptional.
A true little gem. It was so great to find such a treasure that has made our stay in bendigo so enjoyable. Lovely staff and fantastic food. Well worth a visit.

Usually you guys deliver excellent service and quality, but tonight we were disappointed! Not sure what’s changed but your salt and pepper pork was terrible..... dripping in oil, appeared to be more like reused or reheated sweet and sour pork in old batter that was completely inedible. Definitely not the standard you had previously!
Mark S — Google review
Really nice cuisine! Not sure what's up with the corn soup but all the other flavours are what you expect with Chinese food.... yummo! Good location. This place is worth checking out! In fact... I'm due to go back some time soon!
Hector A — Google review
I am just amazed by the taste. When i asked the waiter why there is a new menu he told me they have a new chef. Well definitely the food tasted alot different and tastier. Definitely going back there soon !!!!
Faizan K — Google review
The roast duck is usually too dry, overcooked and does not taste fresh. The fried koay teow is mediocre. The service is mediocre. There are much better options around town - Toi Shan and Bendigo Dumpling House have the same food options, only better and cheaper.
HBAgent — Google review
Wish I could say the good was worth the wait but it wasn't. Average food which took 2 hours to be delivered on a Sunday night! Will be ordering elsewhere in the future.
Ebony S — Google review
Food was so much better when they had an unsanitary kitchen. If it's not broke don't fix it. EVERYONE knows the best Asian food comes from the dirtiest kitchens...

Deliciously tasty food. Brilliant service. The new chef puts great flavor punch in his food. Really impressed!!

The chinese restaurant Red Lantern Bendigo is a brilliant surprise with delicious food served quickly and with a smile. The lunch deal looks particularly good value.
I and had a fantastic dining experience here at the Red lantern. The interior is beautifully decorated with elegant hanging light fixtures and a warm, inviting ambiance. I ordered the “Hot & Sour Soup” and “Garlic Prawns” along with a bag of prawn crackers. All the dishes were incredibly tasty and delicious. The soup had the perfect balance of flavors, and the garlic prawns were cooked to perfection. The prawn crackers were a delightful addition to the meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Chinese food in a cozy setting.
David S — Google review
Ordered fried rice and chili chicken—absolutely ridiculous. Every YouTube video on Chinese food shows a proper balance of sauces, but this was just plain rice with a few vegetables thrown in. No seasoning, no depth of flavor. As for the chili chicken, it tasted like they dumped an entire bottle of ketchup on it and called it a day. No spice, no complexity, and nothing remotely Chinese about it. Extremely disappointing.
Saara S — Google review
Food was amazing and very flavoursome. The satay chicken actually had that real peanut taste too it like it should, the sweet and sour pork was so fresh and hot the taste was amazing. The steamed dim sims and fried rice was also delicious. I would definitely have dinner here again if I was in town. The waitress was very accommodating to a one year old and her service was exceptional and had beautiful mannerisms.
Nicole G — Google review
Delightful, cheap, tasty food. So many $14 lunch options to choose from. A very busy place, both with sit in and take away food.
Christine P — Google review
Outstanding food and service.I walked in at 1pm on a Tuesday and the place was buzzing with quite a few customers dining in and many picking up takeaway. I ordered 8 mains for takeaway and happily waited about 20 minutes for it and wasnt disappointed! Food was classic Chinese with generous portions, particularly with the meat and vegetable dishes. Definitely will be my go to when im in Bendigo next! 👌❤️👍

My son took me here for my 75th birthday we where so happy with the food service I can not recommend it enough if you want delicious Chinese food definitely go to the red lantern white hills it is worth the trip we will definitely be going back.
Veronica H — Google review
The takeaway service is soooo slow. Even outside of peak days/ times. It’s always been this way. They tell you 20 minutes on the phone, but it can sometimes be an hour. Bear this in mind when ordering. The taste of the food is the only redeeming feature.
All T — Google review
We ordered Red Lantern for the first time tonight and the food and service were excellent. There was a mixup with one item on the menu which was probably more our fault than theirs and they offered to deliver the missed item. I can highly recommend both food and service. We had been Toi Shan customers for years until the recent closure and I am very happy that Red Lantern offer a great alternative!

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal at Bee Yuan Noodle & Chinese Takeaway, despite the shop having a somewhat ordinary appearance and possibly needing a thorough cleaning. My partner and I had dim sims, which my partner absolutely raved about. The beef with black bean sauce was very tasty, while the satay chicken had a generous amount of onion but was still delicious. The fried rice was excellent as well.
We really enjoyed the meal despite the shop looking a bit ordinary and could perhaps needing a deep cleanse. My partner and I had dim sims; partner raved over them. Beef with black bean sauce; very nice. Satay chicken: lots of onion but I found it delicious. Fried rice was excellent. Definitely going back.

Mother day went to get my partner a combination Noodles non spicy. See photo this is what we got (horrendous) brown coloured Noodles what the hell and spicy as. Told 30 min wait 40 to 50 min later. I take it home for her and she can't eat it inedible. Poor service poor store and poor Noodles with only couple pieces of meat with 2 tiny shrimp and few vegetables. In the bin it went. Next day we drove to maryborough to get real combination noodle. And they even gave us a free bag of prawn crackers.

First time. Singapore noodles were nice. Could've done with some more veggies, but it was fine. Quick and friendly service at decent prices.
Norman C — Google review
Tonight my partner ordered me house special combination noodles. He asked for non spicy waited for over 40 minutes to be given spicy as hell noodles with 2 mini prawns mainly vegetables couple pieces of meat. It is inedible for some one who hates spice. Not going back and waiting 40 minutes again. Ruined my meal.
Jacinta C — Google review
We have been going there for last 4 years. I have my fried rice and was never disappointed. Husband and wife work there. Both are very quiet initially. But she opens up once she knew us. Always pleasant. Recommend this place
Tania C — Google review
Ordered a seafood nasi goreng and was astounded at what I had been given when I opened this meal. Bright orange colored rice with a few chopped fish balls and seafood extender, a couple of shreds of carrot and to top it off the sauce was TOMATOE. These people must think their customers are idiots serving up this garbage. Not even close to an authentic nasi goreng.
Shane D — Google review
Horrible food. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered basic nasi goreng and another mixed noodle..so inedible, tasteless, like paper. Complete Waste of $26 and horrendous customer service to top it off
Dilshan G — Google review
Some of the tastiest food I have eaten and the costumer service was super lovely! The fried rice was the best I've eaten.

Emperor's Dragon Restaurant is a Chinese food gem located in Bendigo. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes such as honey prawns, vegetable and cashew chicken curry, roast pork in plum sauce, and more. Customers can choose to dine in or take away. The service is quick, polite, and accommodating. The portions are satisfying without leaving you hungry and the prices are reasonable.
We are in love with several of their dishes (Malaysian-Chinese style) - Singapore meehoon, honey chicken, plum sauce duck, curry laksa noodle, salt and pepper prawn (very fresh prawns!), braised pork with picked mustard. Have ever since been coming here regularly !

So sad Was banging for a good chineese feed This was terrible Chicken sticks clearly microwaved to death ..tough as a boot and the sauce was oily and gross Fried rice lacked anything exciting ...including flavour Don't waste your money ...no wonder there was noone dining in

Food is so fresh and on point. Not too oily. The girl and the counter is very welcoming and polite. Little hard to find the place if you’re driving.

A great find. Had our staples - Char kway teow and Wonton noodle soup with a couple of Bendigo beers. Char kway was nicely smokey and soup stock very tasty.
