We as 3 arrived at the Riverside Inn. The first young lady at the bar was amazing. Very helpful and worked to find answers to trivial questions. However, come the early evening, change of staff and all changed. We had d ecided to stay for nibbles and a glass of wine. Ordered the food.... Asked for price of 3 glasses of wine large or the bottle. £3 more for the bottle but in glass from £24 to £21. Meaning a bottle was more than the same volume in glasses. Never heard of that before tbh but hey, having a good time with friends in the garden. The icing on the cake was I returned to the bar for another bottle or wine in glasses of course meaning 3 large. To be told that here are your 3 glasses of wine. Here is your platter of food that I will leave on the side for you to take. Impossible, 3 glasses of wine and a platter of starters and no offer to help take the food to the outside table while I take the drinks..... The food.... Omg, mass produced frozen bland food that I had to collect myself and for £17 was a massive disappointment to one person, let alone 2 persons . .. After spending over a £140 between 3 of us I wouldn't go back until fresh food for the price and staff are there for the customer not the business.

Came here for a quite grab to eat, ordered a haddock and chips and definitely an Iceland meal there. It came and first thing we all looked at each other and thought yep frozen Iceland fish. Cost us £16!! Glad we didn't go for a large cod .. It would have been awful for £18. Drinks are OK if you're coming in for drinks, but don't recommend food! Dog friendly in the bar and outdoor area.

Truly disappointing. Potato hard like a stone, we can’t even cut the Yorkshire pudding. I think they microwave everything.

I recently visited The Riverside Inn and was genuinely impressed! The restaurant was spotless super clean and well-maintained which immediately gave a great first impression. What really stood out to me was their spacious beer garden, offering beautiful views of the river. It’s the perfect spot to relax, especially being right next to the Designer Outlet ideal for a shopping break or a chill evening out. Now let’s talk about the food: the fajitas were absolutely incredible honestly, the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, sizzling hot, and packed with flavor. I’ve had fajitas in a lot of places, but nothing quite compares to these. A big shoutout to Jake, who went above and beyond during my visit. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, even going out of his way to serve our drinks outside in the beer garden. His helpfulness and warm attitude really made the experience even better. I truly appreciate the effort he put in to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area great food, lovely atmosphere, and fantastic service!

If you're a fajita lover, this place is an absolute must-try! We came in without a booking, and even though the restaurant was full, the staff were incredibly accommodating. Within five minutes, we were seated—after enjoying a drink at the bar and browsing the menu. The customer service was truly lovely, warm, and attentive throughout. We ordered the steak fajitas—absolutely delicious, packed with flavour, and served sizzling hot. We also had the Big Blue, which came loaded with melted blue cheese and a rich blue cheese sauce. A dream dish for any cheese lover! But the surprise star was my mum’s order—the chilli beef stuffed aubergine from the chef’s specials. It not only looked like a fine-dining masterpiece, but the flavours were exceptional. She loved every bite. From the presentation to the taste, everything was spot-on. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Service was great. Welcoming and helpful. The food was very cash n carry which is fine if prices reflect that. Not the best meal I've ever had. Out with family. Burgers and ribs were said to be good but the rest of the meals were mediocre at best.

I went here to celebrate my Mum’s birthday on Tuesday 14 Oct 2025 and the waitress Amber was most courteous and helpful. Her service was excellent. It seemed she single-handedly ran the restaurant that evening and she deserves credit where it’s due. I was very impressed with the food and the portion sizes. Would definitely recommend to others. The restaurant has gone up in my opinion over the years particularly now as it is under new management. Best thing this place needed.

I would definitely recommend The New Chimneys for Sunday lunch and group bookings. We had a family get together with 25 of us. It was well organised, with meal choices sent in advance against each name, so no confusion when bringing out the meals. A tab is allocated to each payment group, so drinks can be added to your tab and payment at the end is easier. We all had a selection of food including roasts, burgers, salad, fish, kids meals and was all delicious, everyone got exactly what they ordered and food was hot. Many thanks to all involved from our initial enquiry and booking, through to the 2 young waiters who dealt with all our requests. Great communication from the management too. Many thanks 😊

Me and my partner came for food as a a little date night, we shared the Southern Fried Chicken Strips (They were so good), I had the New Chimneys Dirty Burger and that was delicious, nice and juicy and full of flavour, my Partner had the Hunters Schinzel and she loved it and for dessert we both order the Donut With Ice Cream And Hot Baileys Chocolate Melting Sauce...... We absolutely loved it!!! We wanted more but was full at the same time. We will definitely be coming back for dinner again soon.

Exceptional food, fantastic service can't wait to visit again. Fish was HUGE, roast was the best I've had in a LONG time. As for the prawn cocktail bursting with prawns in delicious sauce. Dessert 🍨 was also excellent albeit I couldn't fit one in I salivated over everyone else's. Richard runs an amazing ship with a fantastic team!

This place is huge and beautiful... The attention to detail on the decor has to be seen to be appreciated... Multiple levels of seating and even a large meeting room with large dining table. Photos show some of the fantastic decor and how lovely and clean the whole venue was. The size of this pub would easily accommodate a large wedding party or special occasion.

The food was ok but nothing i would return for. The service was good with the young lady making sure we had everything we required ie drinks and condiments. If you want ok food then eat here just don't expect anything outstanding

Have been to this bar for both lunch and dinner, during lunch the food came quickly however for dinner service when it gets busy it can take a while for orders to come. All that being said the food is excellent, the portions are generous and the price quite reasonable for the area. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is amazing. With access to games, board games, plenty of TV screens and booths with video games you can easily spend much longer than you intend here, I can strongly recommend it as long as you aren't in a rush.

Went in at lunchtime after the cinema next door, ordered food, but the server was kind enough to direct us to a lunch special menu, which was better value and exactly what we needed. Food arrived promptly, not that it needed to, as we were well entertained with the N64 that featured at our booth, as well as being able to keep an eye on the cricket too! Staff were really polite and it was a lovely, chilled vibe - no issues with being in there with kids / grandparents. Burger was beautifully cooked too! Definitely recommend and we'll be back 🙌

Always busy, great atmosphere when the sports are on. Incredible place to watch major matches, the vibes are exactly what you want. Really roudy. Plenty of tables. We were lucky enough to get a table to watch the rugby. Food is banging.

We often go here, whether it’s to watch F1, play some games and catch up with friends, have lunch or even host our post-wedding debrief in ‘The Matchbox’. The service is always great, the drinks are always good and the burgers are amazing!!

My grandfather used to go to The Locomotive back in the 1930's and 1940's so it was lovely to see it! Yes, I saw all the lovely old photos! My grandfather (whom I never knew, sadly) used to work in the office at the railway and would pop in to the pub on his way home to William Road!

Stayed at the Hampton Hilton next to the train station. The bar atmosphere in there was awful. 5 minute walk to this local pub. Great proper pub, sport on, darts, and pool table. Great staff and decent beers

The worst run A&E I've ever been too. Initially triage was good. Then you get held in Major Assessment for hours. So sad to see very ill Elderly and injured patients having to sit in chairs all night, collapsing on the floors. Patients that needed to be seen by Doctors, held waiting for up to 23 hours then dismissed without due care. This hospital needs decent management the poor nursing staff have their hands tied. Departments that should have been open were empty, closed over night. Patients held in corridors. Ambulance crew getting blankets as nurses just trying to tread water! Very poor care.

.Dont go, no point. No communication with patients which is bad when you're sitting around on a floor for over 12 hours after being told to get there immediately. No help, understanding or facilities to help adults with special or complex needs such as autism or physical needs. Half the pavement in front of the hospital main entrance is blocked with a fruit and veg stall and customers. Veg looks old, sellers are rude, limited space to get passed with wheelchairs etc. Saddest part is the way they treat the elderly. A and E looks fancy but that seems to be a giant room to take your name in before moving you off to sit on the floor in a different part of the hospital. Everyone works to their slowest ability. Bad, avoid!

Formal Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Behaviour by Two Nurses at A&E Paediatric Department Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding the treatment my 8-year-old son and I received at your hospital's A&E Paediatric Department. We arrived at the hospital on 18/07/2025 at around 9:00 PM, and the incident in question took place on 19/07/2025 between approximately 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM. We came to the hospital because a fish hook had become embedded in my son's arm. From the reception staff to the doctor who performed the operation, everyone we encountered was extremely professional, kind, and supportive. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the two nurses who administered my son's tetanus injections after the procedure. Here is exactly what happened: After the operation, we were called from the waiting room by two nurses. They asked my son to lie down on the first stretcher near the entrance. They told us they would administer the tetanus vaccine in both thighs at the same time. To help distract my son and reduce his anxiety, I opened a video on my phone and tried to engage him in conversation so he wouldn't see the injections. The nurses then began counting—“1, 2, 3”—and simultaneously injected both thighs in a very abrupt and harsh manner. They pushed the syringes extremely quickly, which caused my son to burst into tears, sobbing and saying, “You're hurting me so much!” It was a heartbreaking moment. Despite being in shock, I focused on calming and comforting my son, trying not to escalate the situation in front of him. After the injections, one of the nurses threw the vaccine record papers onto the stretcher where my son was still lying and tossed the box of antibiotics in front of me, saying in a cold and rude tone, “Take this for 1 week, 3 times a day, keep it in the fridge,” then added, “You can give him the first dose now if you want.” Immediately after, both nurses walked away without offering any further explanation or support. No one told us how long we needed to wait or if we were allowed to leave. We waited another 10 minutes, and no one came to check on us. Eventually, I approached their desk and asked if we could leave. They responded, “Yes, you can go. No need to wait,” without even making eye contact. The look on one of the nurses' faces as she spoke to me is difficult to describe—it was deeply upsetting. In the distress of the moment, I unfortunately did not ask for their names. However, I can describe them as follows: One was a blonde woman, approximately 155 cm tall. The other was around 50 years old, overweight, with reddish hair. I have lived in the UK for 8 years and have visited many hospitals for my son’s health issues. I have never experienced such unprofessional, aggressive, and what felt like discriminatory behaviour before. It left me deeply shocked and saddened. I request that this matter be investigated thoroughly, and that appropriate actions be taken to ensure no other child or parent is subjected to such behaviour in the future.

A truly shocking hospital. If only zero stars could be given, run in such a poor manner, to the point you'll find yourself questioning whether it is actually a hospital. Terrible 'care' given or not in this case. A lot of foreign nurses with stinking attitudes towards their patients were a lot of them seeming to struggle in speaking and understanding basic English. A lack of understanding with what was actually going on when we asked several times on a daily basic for updates. We have raised a complaint due to our father actually being assaulted during his stay by hospital staff, which left him black and blue. If you can use another hospital, I'd seriously suggest doing just that. The reset button really needs pressing on this place.

I will say previous visits have been great the staff very attentive. However the app was very incorrect saying 2 hour wait...I arrived at 2am and there was 3 people in Majors I was seen at 6.45am. staff came on shift and I watched a nurse on her phone for around 40 mins now I'm not saying they shouldn't have a break but not after 10 mins of chin wagging with other staff and just starting work. The conversations behind the desk were not professional.

I had to take my partner here on Sunday evening due to complications after her pregnancy. we were initially seen quite quickly then due to incompetent reception writing down she had a c-section in her admission forms, the doctor who wanted to see her was looking in wards in the William Harvey itself as that's where patients are admitted who've had a c-section so we were delayed a full assessment because of this absolute blunder.

They have always treated me well. IV always been seen quickly and been given good service.i applaud the nurses and doctors there.

It was very quiet for a Sunday but that meant we got served our lovely piping hot food al the faster! While my family had the roast, I had the sea bass which was delicious! Excellent service.

Having stayed at more Premier Inns than I care to remember, you come to expect a certain level of 'more of the same' from the neighbouring restaurant. But I have to say this one has left me impressed every time so far in terms of both quality of food, and service. All the staff I've come across have been really friendly and can't do enough to help, but a massive shout out goes to Lauren, who I've had the pleasure of being my waitress twice. She brings a fantastic positive energy and customer service you just don't see in so many places any more. Sadly I've only been here for work so far, but should the occasion arise I'd definitely come back 'off the clock' and wholeheartedly recommend for good value food and quality service

We ate as a family before our trip to France, easy location next to the premier inn, with great service from Chase keeping us happy. Food was good, although the wait was a little long. But it was a busy Friday in the summer holidays so can’t be too surprised. Will definitely be back again!

We visited for both dinner and breakfast during our stay and were really impressed. For the evening meal, there were a couple of small issues with two of our dishes, but the staff were so apologetic and went out of their way to make things right, which we really appreciated. Their attitude and service turned it into a positive experience. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic – the unlimited option was great value, and they catered brilliantly for allergies, with both soy and oat milk available. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to start the day. Food was great, there were seven of us. We didn't have to wait long, and all the food was served at the same time. Waiting staff were attentive without being annoying and I have to say excellent service from Rebecca! It was a Saturday evening, and fairly busy, but nothing was too much trouble. Definitely visit gain.

We had breakfast on Sunday and our food was delicious. Teresa the lady who looked after us is a credit to Beefeater what a lovely lady polite bubbly and nothing to much trouble. She made everyone feel welcome and brought a smile to our faces. Teresa you are amazing great lady to be greeted with such happiness.

Went for a steak meal on the way home from travelling. Very disappointing. Only 1 staff member who was very pleasant, but having to do the bar, take orders, deliver the drinks and food and take the money. Over 30 minute wait to order. Then the meal came. Looked nice but the rump steak was so tough i had a job to cut it and it was so chewy i couldn't digest it. The staff member did ask how the food was but it had just arrived at that point. She so busy serving at the bar by then there was no chance of telling her. When she collected the plates she could see i had left most of the steak along with chewed pieces and i said it was nothing like the normal beefeater steak. She offered a free drink or dessert but we needed to leave as we had been there ages already. She did take £3.99 off but it was a real disappointment of a meal - my husbands was also chewy but he just managed to cut it and eat it. Sadly we won't be back due to lack of staff and quality of food.

We stopped here for the Christmas meal. They are very welcoming of dogs and even offer a doggy meal. Service is friendly and warm. However, I cannot get away from the feeling that the food is frozen and warmed up. It didn’t taste fresh, but equally, wasn't terrible. Food is decent value for money. Cannot say the same about the outrageous drinks prices. It put us off ordering more.

Great local pub with a warm, welcoming vibe. Suzy, Ella and Jamie were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Drinks were spot on, and the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming. The food was insane. Loaded fries are a must buy. I will be returning ever single time I am in the area. I stopped by this bar recently and had such a great experience. Suzy and Ella were behind the bar, and they honestly made the night. Both of them were super welcoming and had great energy, which really set the vibe. Suzy recommended a cocktail that ended up being my favorite drink of the night, and Ella mixed it perfectly. They were quick, friendly, and made the whole place feel inviting. Between the good music, chilled atmosphere, and the amazing service from Suzy and Ella, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Genuinely the best meal I've had in Ashford for a long time I don't think anywhere has better value for money the staff, who's names we got, Ella and Brandon FOH. David and George in the kitchen and please forgive me but didn't get the managers name but he was super friendly and accommodating especially as it a large party 8 adults and 4 children and we brought our own cake. The food was lovely the portions were more than ample and the only thing that was "missing" was an upgraded large chips. This was rectified practically straight away. Couldn't fault well done all involved on shift today

Craig was amazing today. He was so patient with us at the tills and helped us to get good deals. He did it all with a smile and was so friendly and helpful. Suzy was also wonderful as it was my sister’s birthday and she was so accommodating and let us bring a cake that she and Craig put candles on and brought out singing. They did everything with a smile and I felt they went above and beyond. It was very family friendly as the kids were a little loud but we were by a play area and it kept them entertained, so a great set up for family gatherings and the special offers really helped to make it budget friendly.

Friendly staff is what is always expected when dining out but the staff at The Pheasant were totally engaging. They were actively interested in the short conversations we had with them. I genuinely felt totally welcomed. Looking around it was obvious that other patrons were familiar with The Pheasant experience and knew exactly what they enjoyed to eat there. Great value.

Never had a bad experience at this pub food is always fantastic and prices are great too. Staff very friendly and polite always checking in with us. Jack showed us to our table explaining how we can order at table or at bar. Food was bought out quickly by Ella they both were always smiling and polite definitely recommend and will return

Service was very good but we got there reasonably early for a Sunday roast. It was definitely livening up before we left. Roast beef was very good but was lacking in veg. Only had red cabbage and a carrot mash. Strange as roasts bought out to other tables later on had green beans as well. Other than that the meal was very good.

We popped in on the off chance and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome. We chose a table and our drinks were brought over. The waitress was friendly and I went with her recommendation and it was spot on. I had the chilli BTW. The food was exceptional and the pub had a really good atmosphere. After such a wonderful main course we just had to have a dessert, again mouth-wateringly good. All homemade with great ingredients. We will definitely be going back

We visited here on a Sunday lunchtime, having made a fairly, last minute booking for a party of 12 plus a dog! On arrival, we all felt that the pub was pretty cold, due to the lack of heating, and we had to sit with our coats on for part of the meal. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The decor was quite traditional. Good choice of menu, especially for a Sunday as so many pubs just do a roast. However, we were one of the furthest tables from the kitchen, consiquently, although the food was flavoursome and cooked well, most of it was fairly cold. It probably would have been better if, instead of 1 waitress bringing our food to the table, they had all chipped in to deliver all the food more quickly. I don't think we would visit again

Really good food and they are attentive to details the only snag is they are always very busy as they are very popular. The food is delicious and comes out piping hot and still sizzling away. There is a big variety of food for different parts of the world so you are not stuck for choice, the e place is very clean and the staff are friendly. I rated 4 stars because they could do with having more staff on at one time just to meet there demands they have.

We dined here with friends on a Friday night (pre-booked)and what a lovely local pub in Ashford it is. The staff were attentive, friendly and informative on their menu when questioned. Or meal choices did not disappoint. The chilli beef ( not hot) nachos for starters were amazingly tasty and a large portion, enough for two really. The lightly fried brie was nicely crunchy and the cheese melted on the tongue, side salad was fresh. Our mains of 3 belly porks were amazing, laid on a bed of deliciously creamy mash and green cabbage, topped with the wonderful crackling. Our friends agreed who'd chosen the same . I had scampi, chips, fresh salad and homemade slaw which again was very nice. Dessert for 2 people was a chocolate brownie and ice-cream...yum! Didn't need it after the the two courses but was a naughty treat. Sorry no pic, but our friends devoured it quickly and said it was moist and chocolatey and the combination was fantastic. All washed down with various tipples. We'll definitely return. Great pub.

16 of us visited today for lunch. The food was so good! We were all served in quick time and all thoroughly enjoyed our orders. I will definitely pay a visit again.

Welcome back from Lockdown. Great to see that the place has sprung back to life. We enjoyed our meal, the sea bass was cooked perfectly and yes it's still the home of the monster chip. The deserts here are always to die for. Menu is a restricted but thankfully there is a specials board. Thanks, enjoyed the evening.

Loads of vegan options, a lovely & large outdoor seating area and very friendly staff. Baby & highchair friendly, although lots of steps to get to the outdoor seating but made easy enough by the helpful staff. Will definitely be coming back!

Came for nice lunch decided to get drinks and look at the menu well the 2 larger shandy's tasted stale and the vodka & coke just tasted of coke not a hint of vodka! Realised the 3 menus we had where all different and the prices yer nope it may be a nice building and garden but it's not London so don't expect to pay those prices at all very disappointed overall will be avoiding from now on

The bar itself is a nice place to be, food is good. The problem is the attitude of some of the bar staff. Absolutely stinks. Used to come here every week without fail, I now drive past here to go to another local pub every week just to get better, less attitude-y service. Drink price is a little on the high side in comparison to other local pubs

It was very quiet when we visited around 3pm. But our dog was aloud in the bar area so we was happy to get out of the sun and into some shade.

Stopped for ev charging, the thai was fully booked, wasn't sure about the pub in front. But we wandered in. Friday and a bank Holiday busy with dj setting up. We went upstairs as it was a little quieter. Find a table order at the bar. What is possibly our 1st Shephard name pub. Order cheese straws and scotch egg as starters. The cheese straws were really tasty dipped in the tomato chutney. Scotch egg was accompanied with a mustard mayonnaise. The egg on the right side of firm with a little runniness. Delicious. The mains were fish and chips, chicken burger and a side of onion rings. The main bar was getting quote busy but the staff are very friendly. The fish and chips was a surprise the size of the haddock fillet. Ok down south so pea puree not mushy peas. A lovely charred lemon for the acidity. Chips were skin on fries as its not a chippy. A homemade tartar sauce. The chicken fillet was a huge piece with korean gochujang sauce. Impressive burger and big portion of fries. Onion rings proper ones homemade. The quality of the food was really good I even posted the fish and chips on the fish and chips Facebook page it deserved to be on there. I didn't even finish the chips such a good price £17.95. As it was late no one queuing for the chargers we finish soon after. Sauntered over noting it would be a pub we use for meals no hesitation. And great staff!

Went here for a birthday party. Our group sat at the top level restaurant. Went up by stair (no lift noticed). Toilet facilities were downstairs. Old wooden beam design (be careful of your head, if you are higher than 5 foot 6") eating area with high windows, so had enough natural lights. However, when it was getting darker, they had artificial lighting turned on which was quite blinding. Food was cooked well and service was friendly.

If the number of stars were a reflection of how miserable and rude the barman (owner?) was at this otherwise perfectly functional pub, I would use the Hubble Deep-Field image to describe the service we received. Despite the four of us ordering five rounds his demeanour got worse each time we approached the bar almost like the idea of us giving him more of our money was abhorrent and having patrons in his pub was incomprehensibly vile. At one point, determined to get even a tiny spark of life out of the guy, I tried to strike up a conversation about the Olympics which was playing on the tv and was completely ignored. Then just after 10 we were unceremoniously asked to leave as he was closing early. It truly was a joyous place to frequent, thank heaven’s we still had a good time regardless.

Lovely place, my friend and I just popped in to check out this local pub, and we have stayed for dinner there. The atmosphere was really friendly and inviting. Service was really good as the kitchen was almost closed, but they decided to feed us anyway 😁 we had a few bears, garlic mushrooms for starter, and cod fishcakes for main. It was really yummy. We definitely will return there 😁

A fairly well-worn pub on the A20. One decent ale on (Doombar) which was up to standard. Sadly we visited because we were attending a wake - the food provided was good and hopefully the quality is reflected in the normal menu. Parking is a bit of an issue.

Stopped off for a drink after a walk, nice outside area , dog friendly. We didn't eat this time but definitely plan to after reading other reviews . Friendly locals, which probably sounds an odd thing to say but some pubs can be very clicky and it's nice to just go somewhere chilled out .

Had an AMAZING Sunday roast today. Food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent service and great atmosphere. My Husband actually said “Why have we not been here before?!?” Menu has good mix of choices. We shall DEFINITELY be back. Would recommend 100%

We had Sunday lunch there with friends and the roast dinners were really good. Plenty of fresh veg, which came separately, and a nice selection of meat. Reasonably priced for 2 or 3 courses, and the lady serving us was delightful. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased a child's sandwich for my daughter along with other items, the bread was hard, did not seem fresh! I have never experienced bad quality of food from Pret like this before, very disappointed, I also had to ask for a bag (twice) before the server gave me one. Not the service or quality you expect.

Stupid prices for such bad quality. Crisps were dire, ugly, green, tasteless. Service is bad, could barely hear the server, she was talking a million miles an hour, quite over the ac, music, and she didn’t even get my order right but how was I to know, no screen. Poor place.

What a wonderful team at Pret Ashford! I’ve been a regular customer for over two years, visiting at least three times a week. The team is hardworking and professional, and everyone is so lovely. Although I don’t know everyone’s names, Barry and Mahim are always friendly and brighten my day. The two other gentlemen, whose names I don’t know, are also very welcoming and kind.

The matcha latte is just coconut milk with coagulated matcha at the bottom - please learn to make these properly, many thanks!

We visited today, as we won a competition on Facebook for a Sunday roast for two, our journey of an hour and 10 minutes was definitely well worth it.. we would definitely go back as paying customers. The food was by far the best roast dinner we have had in a long time, compliments to the chef! Ethan, who welcomed and served us, was outstanding. We both had the topside beef, and it was delicious. My partner had the baileys sundae, and he said it was absolutely delicious. I had the oreo sundae, and it was to die for!! All staff were friendly.. the pub itself was clean. The only downfall was nothing to do with the pub itself, but a raucous crowd disturbed the atmosphere.. but that can be expected in a pub.. we would definitely love to come back if in the area. Please note that starters are not available on the menu on a Sunday.

Amazing value for money with Great future Potential! We stumbled upon this pub while searching for a place to eat on a rainy Sunday. Our usual method involves a quick online search, browsing through reviews. Although it didn't possess the quintessential countryside charm being in a town centre location, it turned out to be a great experience. The quantity and quality of the food surpassed our expectations and ranked among the best we've had in quite some time. While the menu may have been limited to Sunday roast options, the portion sizes offered great value for money, exceeding what we initially anticipated. The ambiance and atmosphere of the pub were a bit underwhelming, but given the exceptional kitchen, staff, and delectable food we enjoyed, adding some more décor and additional interior elements would truly elevate this place. All in all, we were thrilled to have discovered this gem and are already planning to return on a day when the menu offers a wider variety, perhaps during the week or on a Saturday. This place has a great future and we would love to see it succeed!

Me and my husband have probably tried every Sunday Roast within a 20 mile radius of Ashford and this is the best we’ve ever had without a doubt! Meat was perfectly cooked, the best yorkshire puddings i’ve ever had and great service too. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. Was too full to try any puddings but will definitely be back - thank you!

Update: We returned for a mid-afternoon Sunday lunch and to watch the Arsenal Tottenham match. Yet again the management and staff were most friendly, efficient and accommodating. Sundays is roast dinner day and we both decided on the lamb shank, this was an excellent choice. The meat was tender, moist and very tasty. It was served with assorted roast and steamed vegetables and topped with a Yorkshire pudding. A boat of piping hot gravy and mint sauce followed within a minute. Quality was excellent and great value. We had a bottle of the Australian Shiraz which was very good. The pub had added a third wall-mounted screen for World Cup which made viewing an even better experience. I'd point out that this is a family pub and only some of the guests were there to enjoy the match. The commentary was therefore not set loudly and this was absolutely fine. This pub had achieved a great balance between younger and older clients; sports fans and those just there for a drink and possibly a meal. Updated 18th Jan 23 What a great Friday-night experience! We'd not used this family friendly pub since it had been refurbished and rebranded as the New Fox Inn. We phoned on a Friday evening and booked a table for supper with Rachel who accommodated us, at short notice, in a most friendly and polite manner. We arrived at the busiest time, around 18:45 when both the bar and the garden were heaving. Our table was reserved for us and, despite the many folks present, we were able to quickly order our food and a bottle of the great value House wine 'The Guv'nor' which was served at our table. Our starters of whitebait and calamari arrived quickly and both were excellent, crisp and piping hot. There was a bit of a delay for our main course, but that was fine as we'd had a starter and were able to chat and enjoy our wine while watching the Arsenal game on the two HD wall-mounted screens. The main courses were also both excellent, with large portions. I had the steak and ale pie which was the best I've had in a restaurant with masses of exceptionally tender, fat-free beef and great pastry top and bottom; a proper pie! My wife had the Hunters chicken which was also great with plenty of chicken and bacon and with a delicious cheese sauce. Our chips too were ultra-crisp and piping hot. Well worth a bit of a wait for such a great, freshly prepared supper. Again, despite the busy Friday evening, staff checked in with us several times to ensure that we were happy with the meal. Great service, exceptional food and terrific value. Will definitely return.

So called “manager” wearing a hoodie and jogging bottoms with an awful attitude. Been served in here twice and been given the wrong food risking allergy’s if we hadn’t noticed. Clearly the management doesn’t care about this place is absolutely disgusting. Will end up seriously causing harm.

The young lad hardly spoke at all, no smile no nothing like blank. The seating area was absolutely filthy, food everywhere, bins overflowing, chairs all over the place. Hardly any choice of food. This was at 1730 and doesn’t shut till 1900. Very disappointing because when one man works here he’s great but he’s a grown up not a kid.

poor chap today was making the tills, taking food out of the oven whilst serving customers/all on his own. obviously the tables weren’t cleaned down but it wasn’t his fault 😔

How can you burn a baguette and think yes I will sell this to someone it's worth money. It was inedible. Luckily I reached out to greggs on social media and they gave me credit but come on guys, you need to do better than that.

Dunno how they do it but some 1 cant read 2 meal deals mean 2 meal deals not 2 rolls and share your coffee also i like a little brown sauce with my bacon not a little under cooked bacon absolutely drowning in sauce what a joke of a place!

Food has always been pretty good here. My gripe is more online. I cant count how many times I've ordered only for the order to be rejected. Sometimes after waiting a while too. Ridiculous. Ring the customer tell em what u have & haven't got. I remember 1 specific time they rejected me on a large order due to 1 item being unavailable(& i only know this because I rang them)....really guys???

Third weekend running coming to this pub. The fish and chips have been excellent every single time. Nearly all the staff come across as friendly, caring, and professional, The ambience of the pub is both welcoming and clean.

This restaurant was chosen to meet up with friends after a long time. The ambience at this place was good however the service was a bit of disappointment. The service did not feel welcoming and pleasant. Food options were acceptable but not the best. Vegetarian options were also available and the burger was a bit dry.

Excellent little find. Went for a walk in The Warren woods near by and stopped here for lunch. It’s dog friendly, food was great, sauce was full of flavour, kind of weird whole carrot thing on your plate, however the venison was cooked to perfection. Has a proper country pub vibe, I imagine in the summer it gets rammed.

Good environment and nice place to eat. We got the pork chop and linguine and both dishes were good. The waffle for dessert looked and tasted exactly like a pre-made waffle I used to have at school. I found this odd but it was tasty nonetheless.

Ive been to The Old Mill a lot in the past but hadn't been there for way over 2 years until last week. The atmosphere has changed since ive last been there, it felt really flat. It wasn't busy that evening I might add. The selection of food just wasn't that great. There wasn't an awful lot that took my fancy that evening. I remember years ago they used to offer braised lamb shank but there wasn't any lamb at all on the menu. We just had a main and left because it didn't really do it for us. The service was fantastic though. I dont think me and my husband will be visiting again which is unfortunate.

My first visit but definitely not the last. Amazing food and staff. Can't wait to go again. Some of the best tasting food I've had in a pub. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are going anywhere nearby. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another visit yesterday. Still 5 star in my book. Had the Pinko prawns with chilli sauce and the Nacho sharing platter. Really impressed with the crispy batter on the tender prawns and the chilli sauce was just right. Not too sweet. Nachos are home made and are amazing. Not like the chemical tasting packet ones you buy. Great place to eat and I highly recommend paying them a visit. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Not great here. Most of the staff are miserable. And to top it off I just drove 30 minutes to get here and there closed an hour early even though the staff are there. Nothing in the door to say why there closed. My guesses they just can't be A R S E D 17th July. 27 degrees and they can't do cold drinks. Last week they had no real cream . Total p take this place

Waited for my coffee about 25 min, queue wasn’t even that bad. Have ordered NOT too hot toffee latte but they clearly didn’t care about my request as my milk was BOILING hot, I have burnt my tongue. On top of it the place is pure mess, I have never seen dirtiest milk jugs in my life. They need a good cleaning from time to time, how horrible.

I ordered a pot of tea and was given a dirty cup which the server immediately offered to change. He went through all the cups and couldnt find a clean one! Eventually he went out the back and found a clean cup. Cutlery was also dirty. Not what I would expect from a branch of Costa.

Christmas Has Peaked. That's the motto. Not much of a peak on the cream! And far from peak service! SHARLOTTE was rude and condescending and seemed to take pride in the poor quality of the drinks and food she slapped down. Ignored my order and just said "that's all I heard", with half of what I said missing. Coffee grains in the coffee. Rudest Costa in Kent, by far!

Environmental health visit needed! Fly photographed running around all over the muffins and Easter treats. Service was terrible nearly waited 15minutes just for one coffee, one member of staff on the tills while the manager sat out the back room out sight.

I liked this Costa location. Clean, polite staff, proper seating area. Toilets could be cleaned more often, otherwise good. Well-priced coffee.

Service always seems slow; however, their menu isn't that straightforward; this isn't the staff's fault. They always listen to what you're asking for, checking allergies and making drinks all day long.

Going to take a wild guess that the older than other staff with black hair lady dosent appreciate a northern accent at the bar , for as soon as her to start serving the price of my drinks went up 20p and not one word spoken to me to then steo it up just throwing a morretti in a kronenbourge glass when i can see all the clean morretti glasses , anyway i took the hint . Wont be handing my money over in here again , i was nothing but polite and respectful but obviously my accent must offend you as nobody else was taken for a mug barring me

Full of very very young people and not great music. It's a pub, does what it says on the tin - the shots offers etc very much aiming at the younglings.

Friendly, busy, lively atmosphere, great place to go mix with the locals and have a game of pool and a few drinks. Bathrooms are clean. Bar area very clean and tidy.

This is a lovely traditional town pub. Its prices are great also. The pub has lots of screens to watch sport. Its not a hotel! I drunk London Pride in there a few days ago. It was loovely.

Nice pub in town center, plays local bands frequently. Plays sky sports and bt sport, drinks reasonable pricing. Didn't take card payment and not sure if that is temporary or permanent feature.

Slow service, dirty/old/water marked glasses. Only stayed for one drink before we decided to go somewhere else. Sat at a table in the empty restaurant side which was good to find somewhere on a Friday night. Live music was ok.

Great venue with good selection of food stalls and drinks on draught. Servers are all polite and the atmosphere is perfect on a sunny day. More benches/tables are needed!

What a great place. A number of different food takeaways to eat in the central area. I had Lobster Fries for £10 amazing dirty fries with lobster, crab, melted cheese, and some spices what a great taste! Xx

This was a a lovely place to visit and didn’t really know it existed until I came along for a very special event. There was food and drinks on offer, and above and special event as mentioned. Was part of the Ashford art celebration, well done to the artists who where involved as well as the organisers, this was truly amazing. I got the experience an African dance taster session if you can call it that. The venue if designed in a simple and effective way

This is such a great place to go, really relaxed fun buzzing atmosphere there was a band on with lots of singing and great music. I ate from the Greek restaurant a Greek salad with chicken and halloumi and it was delicious fabulous place to go for a catch up with friends and to eat really good food.

Love this place in the sunshine and great that its dog friendly but visited today and was really sad to see our favourite pizza place is no longer there! It was the best around and now there’s a lot less variety of food.

Great space, incredible pricing, super friendly staff - I couldn’t recommend this spot any more. In fact, they even posted me my belongings after I left them there (it was clearly a good night)

I hired this venue to celebrate my 50th birthday and I was so impressed, not only a really cool venue but I was made to feel like a VIP.. everyone really enjoyed themselves and Marcus and the gang went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect!

Really amazing service and friendly vibes. Were searching for a pub that served Sunday roast in the late afternoon and they more than delivered. Food was a slightly long wait but more than worth it and the chef even bought us a drink to apologise for the wait which was very kind, as was everyone who worked here! Food wise the portions were great and reasonably priced, mash and roasted potato combination was our personal favourite and delicious! Was a little bit on the cold side but that’s okay as there was a jugful of hot gravy to pour over everything! All in all a lovely place for a Sunday roast and friendly pint.

The chef gave us a discount but we opted to still pay full price as the food and service were both spot on. Also they had very good Covid precautions and we felt very safe. We were staying in Camber for the week and was looking for somewhere to eat, it was eat out to help out so everywhere was booked up. The Swan were able to fit us In and althoug it was a drive to get there it was the best eating experience we had had all week. Staff friendly and accommodating, food was banging, fajitas, ribs, burgers etc all excellent. It was so good we returned on our last night last night for our farewell meal. I was surprised this little pub wasn't much busier. Definitely give it a go, I don't think you will be disappointed! Car parking not 500yards away too. Perfect! Ps. Haloumi was awesome too! Andy.

I had a great meal, cooked fresh using only local produce. The sticky chicken sauce is amazing. The pub is really lovely, with new decor throughout, and the chef is very passionate about bringing home cooked food to the town. Highly recommend!

We stumbled across this cute little pub after an afternoon of wedding dress shopping. Me and my girls had the best time. Very friendly service, homely feel to it with a relaxed environment. Very clean and the portion sizes were amazing value for money. We shall be returning. It's lovely to see a pub doing some Mexican style cuisine, rather than your usual "run of the mill, pub grub". They serve family favorites such as cottage pie, bangers and mash and an amazing roast dinner (hoping to try this out some time!) we loved the fact you could order Nachos, fajita's (chicken, steak or halloumi or all 3 if your heart desired. The three of us LOVED it and will be coming back and also recommending to anyone in the area. Well done everyone! 👏👏👏

A great, back in the day 'local', friendly 'guvnor' and staff. Great prices and friendly locals. Only draw back no real ale. Food options, pies, pasties and sausage rolls.

Seemed very rough. Other customers were too loud and constantly using foul language. We went in for a quiet drink and went after it. Lady behind the bar was friendly though.

Visited exhibition about history of the railway works and Newtown, which was very good. The pub looked a very pleasant and welcoming place, so might well visit again when not driving.

Its great to see all the work that has taken place here. Great couple now running it and even welcomed by people already there plus great beer!

The Hooden Smoke Grill House will hands down always be my favourite place to eat - I come here regularly and wouldn’t ever go anywhere else. The restaurant was packed tonight and I hadn’t booked, but the team still managed to get my family and I seated quickly with little to no waiting time. The service was fast and flawless, and our server Olivia was friendly, efficient and really looked after us. The food was, as always, immaculate. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Went for lunch with family and new baby,also our Beagle dog, we were all made very welcome and Clara was very attentive and helpful, food suited us. Only 1 real ales which was disappointing, I remember back in the day the ale selection was excellent as was the Mexican food. Pub generally is a nice cosy pub.

Sadly gone downhill massively from last visit Waitress was clueless and kitchen ran out of rump steak in steak night even though we booked weeks ahead for a 7pm table we were told we needed to wait for our table..... Charged for service on final bill and the waitress was awful I mean not just bad but shockingly bad!!! Won't be back based on the lack of interest and service from the staff and the mess ups with our orders Absolutely gutted as went for a birthday treat meal

Today 3/6/2023 was my first visit to The Hooden. The establishment is a fine place, and I think the interior looked really nice. The food, if a little expensive, was really nice and tasty. The service was very slow, but the member of staff was working by herself, and did really well. I do not agreed with the 10% service charge being added to the bill automatically. A gratuity should be granted at my discretion. That being said, I did enjoy the visit and will be making a second visit and also would recommend The Hooden.

Had an excellent meal, each course was presented well and portions were very generous. Head Chef (Darren) paid attention to detail/flavours in each dish. Thoroughly recommend and will be back to try different things. Prices very reasonable. Service was very good too. Recommend a visit to this pub, which also has a good size garden. Easily 10/10

Delicious steak and ale pie with mash, veg and gravy; made with Harvey's bitter. The beer not only added flavour to the pie but was also a very good pint in itself. Other members of our walking party also expressed delight with the food and beer. Great to see the Black Horse open again.

Great food. Really tasty roast dinner and good portions. The service was very friendly but so slow. The table sitting next to us left their dirty plates at the table and went to the bar to pay after waiting 30 mins for their plates to be cleared! Ours were slightly quicker but we still had to go up to the bar to request our pudding order to be taken. Definitely need another member of waiting staff when it's busy.

Visited here today with a friend and it was lovely! We visited a few months and go, and it was great, but today's roast was 10/10. Staff were lovely, pub is so cosy and their garden is going to be stunning when the sunshine finally comes out! Defo would recommend!

Really lovely place, the live music being heard into the garden was a lovely touch, the food was great and good portions (we had Sunday lunch) I couldn’t finish it all. The garden is lovely and well kept, and the staff are sweet and helpful. We were told as it’s Father’s Day there might be a wait, but the food was still delivered by 20 minutes so we were happy. Lovely pub, we will be back.

What an amazing place to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, greeted by a musician playing the flute, later a piano while enjoying a homemade meal, the staff were all equally friendly, professional and very welcoming. The surroundings and history of the pub made the atmosphere that more special. We booked a roast dinner for the day after and we enjoyed every bite, absolutely wonderful place. Compliments to the chef! 🙂

Stopped off here with my wife & 3 children on our way home from a day out. Always liked the look of the pub as the owners have invested heavily with outdoor pods, bouncy castle & lots of staff. Busy car park is always a good sign. We found a table & ordered drinks & meals. Food was really great but we had ordered mash & was served chips with our pies. Not the end of the world. The friendly waitress realised the mistake immediately & offered to do mash as a side. We declined & were glad we did as we were absolutely stuffed. Pie was amazing. So full of meat. Great location. Really helpful staff, wonderful food, good live band playing, limited parking but a great experience. Looking forward to trying the breakfast here.

The Queen’s Head in Kingsnorth is a great spot, The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the food is always top-notch. Amazing burger prepared by Christina this evening Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or in for a longer meal, you can count on great food every time. The staff are friendly, and it’s the perfect place for lunch, dinner and drinks.

We stopped here on the way home with our kids and were really impressed. The place looks great — outdoor pods, a bouncy castle, and plenty of staff make it feel lively and welcoming. The car park was busy, which is always a good sign. We found a table easily and ordered drinks and food. The meals were excellent — our pies were packed with meat and full of flavour. Although we were served chips instead of mash, the friendly waitress spotted it straight away and offered to fix it, but we were already more than satisfied. Great atmosphere with live music, lovely staff, and delicious food. Parking is a bit limited, but overall it was a fantastic experience — can’t wait to come back and try their breakfast next time!

Quite possibly the best rack of ribs I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked and so much meat. We also had the chicken sheesh kebab which was also absolutely divine. Proud to have this as our local and will be back many times, bringing friends and family with us. Keep up the good work team.

I was told how amazing the Sunday roast was, so my husband and I decided to try for ourselves. Well it really did not disappoint. In fact I would go as as to say it's probably the best pub roast we've ever had. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

We went for lunch on our wedding anniversary, food and service were excellent, pub was quiet at lunchtime, but I feel the service would be the same if busy or not. We were made so welcome and a lovely little touch of a card and an extra dish after our meal. Highly recommended.

A real community pub with an art class in progress when we arrived. I had the most delicious fish and chips - I can not remember having any better. There were also excellent tasty gluten free options for my wife.

Prebooked for 5 adults, we chose the Sunday roast. Very welcoming staff, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. All orders arrived together and in good time, beautifully cooked,arriving hot. Definitely would recommend and visit again.

Had lunch with friends. pub was actually very quiet but the food was exquisite 👌 loved every course. I don't normally do a desert but I did and ate the whole extremely chocolaty thing. yum yum yum. We will be going back VERY soon.

Favourite pub for a drink, quick and friendly service, great space indoor and out. But, the lunchtime food/quick snacks were not great. Some more variety and healthier/more colourful options would be very welcome.

Visited yesterday on a recommendation. The food was lovely, the pork bites starter was delicious. The beef roast was superb.

This is a nice bar, has a screen showing the beers and ciders currently available. The bar man let me try a couple of ales before choosing. Has an outside area out the back for smokers. Worth a visit!!

Honestly, I was very impressed when I first heard about this new business opening up, super intrigued as well. My friend Kevin told me about his business idea one day awhile back over lunch and I thought it was genius. Then once I saw what it looked like the genius idea was solidified. Also, can't sleep on ANY of the food. Most if not all of the food is grown/produced locally so you know where your food is coming from, plus.. It's so damn good! Like do they have a farm out back somewhere that I can't see? That's how fresh it is. Great menu full of fun and unique food to choose from and AWWW the beer! It's unreal and it taste so fresh. I wondered if they brewed it that day, that's how good it was. Plus plus, the service is absolutely incredible, which I was worried about at first but the staff was so knowledgeable and helpful that alone could keep you coming back. But seriously I cannot wait until I head over to the UK and get me some more because once was just not enough! Not even close.

We visited on a Saturday night with live music. The ambience was great and the performer very good. We'd popped by previously midweek when we had expected it to be open (according to its sign) and it had been closed. This is an intimate venue seating about 20 people with a small beer garden. It serves real ale and craft ciders and spirits. I really didn't like my passion fruit cider which had an after taste but my partner's ales were good. Prices were typical. It was possible to order nachos, chicken wings or popcorn. The Made Inn was definitely artisan and appealed to my demographic. The majority of the customers were 30+ ( probably 40+) and they were clearly there to enjoy the atmosphere, the good beer and the good music. The Events board showed a menu of regular live music, quiz nights and comedy nights. There was also a stack of help yourself board games.

Tasty craft beers and ciders. Lovely garden. Very friendly staff. Clean tables (not sticky like usually in the pubs). You can see a lot of personal touch to the place which makes it even more welcoming once you're inside. Ashford really needs this kind of places.

Love the vibe of this place. Top notch local beers and gins so we're both happy! Also great place for local bands/ singers/ artists to have a platform to show their talent.

Excellent micro bar. Has great selection of craft beer on tap as well as some interesting looking flavoured gin. Well worth a visit.

Excellent craft ale/spirits micro brewery and restaurant at the top of the High St. Arrived at about 8ish, great barstaff and very friendly. Marked down to three stars, as one of the smallest pubs I've been in, had a band with electric an amplifier of the ilk of the one Marty McFly found in the Doc's garage in Back to the Future, and making my eardrums touch in the middle playing REM. Other than when they have 'Live Noise' thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly and welcoming. Home made Food was fantastic. Recommend Paula’s Oxtail stew , it was melt in your mouth. Med veg lasagna also v tasty. Good wine selection -I had a white Malbec . Dog friendly and great country walks nearby.

Near by pub to where we were staying, had good reviews so gave it a try. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, despite it being very busy. Had a hot and spicy pizza which was delicious.

The friendly staff really make you feel at home, encouraging conversation and laughter among friends. You can tell that many locals love hanging out here, which adds to its warm, community vibe. Plus, the recent renovations have given the space a fresh and inviting look, making it an even better spot to enjoy a drink with buddies or simply chill out on your own.

I am a musician who has played at The Rose Inn twice. The establishment is run by lovely people who treated me incredibly well and their clientele are brilliant.

Been here a couple of times but just for drinks as it’s on a junction of a few nice riding roads we like in either direction, there’s very limited zero/low alcohol beers. Finally we’ve tried the food now and it’s ok if you’re just after a burger/chips or a pizza, or typical pub grub…the pizza needed to have a crisper baked base but was quite tasty, I’d say a small to medium size although I was served a different one to my order. Staff are friendly and helpful and as expected it’s worth coming by to look at the carpark and field to see what’s there and going on. Has a regular quiz night here I think we’d pop in for drinks when out this way but would possibly eat elsewhere.

What an outstanding pub experience! If you have a passion for cars, this place is even more special, adorned with a fantastic array of motoring memorabilia displayed all over the walls. The atmosphere is vibrant, enhanced by some impressively classic and modern vehicles gracing the car park outside, which adds a nice touch for car enthusiasts. The pub boasts an excellent selection of beers, and I must say, the Guinness was impeccably poured – smooth with a rich, creamy head that made for a delightful pint. The staff here are exceptionally friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to ensure you have a great time. There’s a wonderful sense of community that permeates the pub, making it feel warm and welcoming. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend making the effort to visit.

Such a cool venue! As someone car obsessed this is an awesome spot. But the food… I spoke to one of the young chefs and his passion for food was amazing. He was telling me about creating this bhaji scotch egg. Which was insane! Will definitely be back. Lovely & friendly team who are super helpful too. Highly recommend.

Attender a small car show mid week here with my daughter. Used to visit B-Road when they were in Collier Street however first time to The Stag. Easy place to find and large free car park. Pub was large, clean and cool. Bar staff were busy but really good with service and really pleasant with friendly chat whilst serving. Car show was small and most folk knew each other but made a nice evening out. Didn't eat here but the food did look and smell good.

Absolutely love The Stag, great food & drink options. Friendly staff, feels like a home from home. Always a nice selection of interesting cars too! X

Great atmosphere , busy event on the friday night social we attended , food service was a little slow for us but with how busy it was that was to be expected , decent size garden with benches to enjoy the sun or a reasonably sized inside seating area, a great evening and would attend again

Absolutely beautiful venue! Waiting staff were really quick and helpful! Drink choices are so vast! Lots of delicious cocktails and shots to try! Will most definitely be coming back! 10/10 thanks girls for a great night.

I visited for a drag bottomless brunch event today. I must say it was great fun and my whole group had a good laugh. The staff were very friendly, and the cocktails must have been some of the best I've tasted! The cakes and sandwiches served were ok. Some were a bit stale, but it wasn't an issue as i had others i could eat . My only criticism would be it was a tad unorganised when it came to the food , some of us got our food stand way before the others did, and I don't think the staff were aware who had or hadn't got there's so people were left waiting for food for quite a while. But I feel this was only teething problems and the staff were happy to go and get the things that were missing when we asked . The decor is beautiful, but be warned there is a step straight away as you walk into the female toilets, I think most of us fell on that as it's unexpected. The drag act itself was a great laugh ,I wouldn't recommend it if you're easily offended ? But i assume you wouldn't be going if you were ? But I would definitely recommend going if you want to go out ,have a laugh ,a boogie, and enjoy some delicious cocktails 🍸

Went here for a bottomless brunch while celebrating my friend’s hen party last weekend. Firstly, the restaurant opened about 5 mins before we arrived, we were the only ones there. We sat down to an unset table, and ordered our food, which began to arrive, no joke, 2 minutes after ordering. What turned up looked like cheap, shop-bought pizzas that had been thrown in a microwave for a few minutes. Other food (chips and nachos, not very brunchy to be honest) took ages to arrive. The food was so dire we walked out about 30 mins into our brunch. On the way out, I asked the waiter whether the food had been bought from a supermarket to which he held his hands up!! There is no chef!!! I’ve been trying to get hold of this restaurant since our visit because we paid for it all up front (£35 each, their margins must be insane), and they haven’t even had the decency to respond and apologise let alone compensate us for our experience. Avoid at all costs (I’m pretty sure these standard 5* reviews are fake). Have included a screenshot of one of the sad supermarket pizzas they served.

Spent a lovely evening here last night, such a relaxed atmosphere, staff chatty and friendly and great little spot, will definitely be back for longer visits. Great range of drinks, you get a fresh glass for every drink and they are all hand washed (great attention to detail). Beautiful bar, nestled in a beautiful village. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Perfectly selected wines, ales and cider. Beers and IPA are good too! They offer various snacks and now have a charcuterie platters, which are delicious. Highly recommend a visit (or several) to this lovely little bar

This little wine bar is an absolute gem! The staff are really welcoming, and there’s a really warm, chilled out vibe. Great wine list and draught beers, and there’s yummy artisan platters on offer. Just love it here!
