We came to Brewhemia for a late breakfast and this place is clearly beloved in this area! It was incredibly busy, and despite this, we had excellent service and delicious food. The Southwestern Egg Sandwich and the Huevos Avocado Biscuit were made perfectly. My chai latte was just what I had hoped for -- spicy, sweet, and creamy. The decor includes giant historic world maps that add to the charm.

I can’t believe someone would give less than 5 stars for this cute full service coffee shop. To start, the outside has such a cool vibe and is in a great location. They have a few outdoor tables for outdoor seating which is great for bringing your dog. Their quiche menu is solid and food is really good for a coffee shop. The inside is cute and welcoming and the staff was all very nice!!! We got an iced white mocha and bohemian and they were perfect.

Very cool authentic coffee spot downtown. Good quality coffee, nice ambiance inside, and good service staff. This place feels like an important part of Cesar Rapids culture.

This is easily the best coffee/cafe here in Iowa. The food is always fresh and amazing. The lattes are consistently great. No burned shots. They make their vanilla and caramel for the lattes IN HOUSE. Don't pass up the vanilla latte! It's run by the sweetest family who are always positive as are their baristas. They'll take the time to explain anything about the menu, you never feel rushed. Please visit this shop and see for yourself. I'm picky and they have always accommodated. They have intolerance options too.

Pro tip: get the homemade salsa. Green if you like mild, red if you like spicier. Both are delicious.

Nice indie coffee shop with friendly service and better than average food options. I had an Americano & The El Ranchero. The chorizo was only middle of the road spicy. I didn’t get a scone, but they looked great.

What a neat spot in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I can see why the locals love this spot. We are traveling thru. 5 Stars! 1 Star for clean bathrooms. 1 Star for local artists on the wall. 1 Star for smiling faces and greeted when walked in. 1 Star for Atmosphere and Prices. Half Star for food presentation but a thumbs up on good taste. We would recommend anyone to come! Please stop by on your travels. Locals have a little diamond in their city.

Placed an online order for a breakfast sandwich and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there and someone in front of me had placed a very large order. Ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my sandwich. Instead of just saying sorry or nothing at all the staff took the initiative to refund my meal and offered an apology. This is the customer service that I appreciate and will return to as most places these days do not even notice when they are lacking in service. Also, the food is always good and the quality of the coffee beans is excellent!

After today's experience I will never come back. I have been a supporter of this coffee shop for quite some time. I enjoy the updates on social media and the people. Today was quite different. I didn't appreciate how I was treated. Starting with my order I have been getting matcha lattes here with almond milk for quite some time. Yes I'm aware as with every place there is an upcharge for that. Here the way they make them you can barely taste any matcha so I would make it a point to ask for a little extra. I always asked if it was an extra charge and was always told no even by people who have worked there a long time. I was told today asking for extra was a 2 dollar upcharge. I was told it has been like that since June. I was told the upcharge was due to people asking for extra over time. I kindly explained to them that people are asking for extra because they can't taste it. I provided feedback in a calm manner. I was not rude. It was just constructive feedback which businesses should be receptive to. I was told to have a nice day which sounded a bit condescending considering the circumstances. Not an I'm sorry they haven't been charging you or we will take your feedback in to consideration and hope you come back. None of that.There is a coffee shop in Iowa City that carries ceremonial grade matcha which I assume is expensive and even with almond milk, I'm not paying well over 9 dollars for it. You can also taste it very well so there is no need to ask for extra. Since customers have mentioned to you that they ask for extra because they can't taste it, my hope is that feedback is listened to in an open manner rather than a customer feeling a bit dismissed today. My hope is whoever left the Face Savoring emoji wasn't an employee as that is pretty sarcastic.

I met up with someone for coffee, she had a latte and I had Chai. Both were delicious! The atmosphere is very cozy and staff was friendly. The only negative is that there is only street parking and I am horrible at getting my truck between two cars. :-)

Found this while looking for coffee shops during my drive. Convenient spot with a parking lot on the side. Benches out front if you want to enjoy your coffee out there. Inside was beautiful with a chill vibe. Love the plants and the art for sale. The seasonal offerings were really unique and the baristas were super friendly! Can't wait to go back and try something else!

The owners truly make you feel like an important customer! This place is my go to for a coffee or a breakfast sandwich. I also love the specials they put out coffee wise, brown butter coffee that is the right balance and Banana Latte are great fall flavors!

Very nice coffee and they actually can steam the milk properly which believe me, many places can’t. Also they have soy milk which is annoyingly rare to find in coffee shops in the U.S for some reason so that’s a big plus for me! The server was very friendly and they had no problem with grilling the chicken for my sandwich instead of deep frying it. Would be nice if there were more “light” meal options available like salads or omelettes. Also, the boxes for the sandwiches could be bigger as it makes it a bit difficult to eat

Hands down the best coffee spot in Cedar Rapids and might just be my favorite place for breakfast! I come almost every weekend and have never had anything other than an excellent experience.

Hands down the best cafe in town. Everything is made from scratch and is so fresh. I always end up ordering several plates including a side of fruit because the meals are so delicious. Be prepared for a lunch rush around noon. We waited for over 30 minutes for our found and it was entirely worth it. The beignets are incredible - wear white so you don't show the powder sugar! I think about stopping in for something to go daily... But I probably go in about once every other week. I would go in more if I lived closer to downtown. Also it's an excellent place to go to before or after a visit to the library. Lightworks has lots of choices no matter your dietary requirements. Yum!

Delicious breakfast. Quality ingredients. We had the breakfast taco and breakfast sandwich with bacon. We thought the place was a little hard to find. We drove past it the first time. :) Will definitely go back!

Great atmosphere to enjoy some breakfast brunch or lunch. Also if you are wanting a quick pastry and to go drink for breakfast this seems like a great option. My iced latte was decent and the avocado toast was alright. The avocado toast was plain and simple which I prefer some more seasoning like at home we add garlic or tajin seasoning on our sourdough bread with avocados. I would go again and I would go for something different for drinks and food. My friend’s pancakes and eggs looked yummy. The service was good!

Coffee, food, & friends😁 Cafe Saint Pio has it going on! Yesterday Louise and I stopped by for breakfast and had a lovely time at this bustling neighborhood spot. The coffee shop is in a restored corner location in the Czech Village, and oozes retro charm. From the corner entrance to the high ceilings to the antique service counter, every detail speaks of nostalgia and a love of the neighborhood gathering place. Our breakfast was excellent! The burrito was delicious, exactly what one is looking for! I won't lie, it was gone in moments😋 The blueberry muffin was well above average, in fact it was so good that Louise went straight back to the counter to order another to take home! Quiche can be a gamble, I love to make it and eat it, but quite often it is dry or too dense when ordering out. This quiche was perfect! Super flavorful, with all of the various types and preparations of veggies being cooked just so, and the egg body was evidently made by a black belt master of the brunch arts. I would highly recommend the quiche to everyone, and if one likes quiche it is a must!! Louise asked that I make special mention of the coffee, she is a coffee aficionado and has exceptionally high standards for our favorite morning brew. Their coffee is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ excellence on the Louise scale, and that is high praise indeed. The last part of our experience I'll write of is the most important to me, the people. This place is bursting with a positive, high-energy vibe that starts my day off right. Bordering on being almost too loud at times, the friendly chatter nonetheless was quite welcome. I ran into one of my favorite peeps from Goldfinch Cyclery, Lillian, who not only brightened my day, but reminded me of just how much I love my tribe❤️ And speaking of beloved tribe members, I just missed two of my faves, Kat Richter, Realtor, Keller Williams Legacy Group and Alicia Bogard, Licensed Massage Therapist 🥰 This is rapidly becoming one of my fave spots, hope to see you there soon!

Favorite coffee shop in Czech Town. It’s in a beautiful historic building with great history. Wonderful staff & excellent coffee! A very nice food menu too with both delicious pastries & hot breakfast entrees. It’s very quaint inside & can get a little noisy if full, but still a great place to gather & take it all in while enjoying a cup of the best coffee in the area. This is the neighborhood where my wife grew up, so I’m very glad to visit and find a nice place to sip a coffee and eat some food with the family. The staff was very nice and everything came out quickly even though they were fully seated. The flavors of that particular espresso are not my favorite profile, but it was enjoyable. This is a wonderful addition to Czech Village.

From the moment you step inside, you're transported to the Wild West, with an incredible atmosphere that perfectly captures that old western charm – right down to the pictures on the walls. It even smells amazing in there! While I've only had their coffee, specifically their iced lattes, I've been a few times now, always trying a different flavor, and I can honestly say none of them have let me down. Each one is perfectly crafted and delicious. Beyond the great drinks and amazing vibe, the people working there are incredibly nice, making every visit a pleasure. My only complaint? As someone horribly addicted to caffeine, I just wish they offered larger coffee sizes! If you're looking for a unique cafe experience with a ton of character and fantastic coffee, this is your spot!

This is me and my husband’s favorite breakfast spot! It’s a great cozy place to enjoy. Their chai lattes are my favorite, they never disappoint! We’ve had a few different breakfast items and they’ve all been delicious and very nicely presented, but our favorite is definitely the avocado toast. The staff are friendly, and the pastries are freshly made in house and they hit the spot every time. If you want somewhere cozy and local to enjoy breakfast, this is your place! Highly recommend!

It was my first time here. It was well worth stopping in, and I will return. Th selection of coffees and teas are excellent, we had a coffee and a tea. Both were fantastic. The food is also delicious. If you get a chance, stop in it was well great.

This place is DEFINITELY a Vibe!!! If you want great coffee, lattes, and beautiful spirits, atmosphere and ambiance, you HAVE to check out Kismet. I mean, coffee, and fresh beautiful floral bouquets!? The inside is absolutely divine! You can be having the absolute worst day ever and walk into Kismet and all of a sudden all of your worries, or anger or anxiety will just leave you and melt away. Welcoming smiles, and genuine conversations are just a few of the amazing characteristics this place brings. 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs up!! A MUST SEE spot if you're in the Cedar Rapids area.

I drove all night from Nebraska. Kismet was the first place I could find open and close to Czech Village. This place is very atypical, nestled in New Bohemia, in an old house. It’s accommodating, the staff isn’t Seattle trained “baristas” but folks that know the area and their craft. On top of a Cappuccino latte, they offered a water without my asking. Customers stumbled in the early hours and the staff visited, small talk as well as craft devotee minutiae. It’s not to often you run across a place like this by accident or on purpose.

My wife is a regular, borderline addict. I did not believe the hype. Then on a beautiful Sunday, I went. I ordered the milk blend pour over, arguably the best coffee I have ever had. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a premium cup of coffee. This place provides a nice relaxing place to work, and the employees offer great conversation. The only thing I would recommend them to add to the menu is breakfast sandwiches.

Hands down the BEST coffee in Cedar Rapids. I’m visiting family from Australia ( we know our coffee) and the baristas make a well balanced flat white to perfection. The friendly laid back service is giving & the decor? Stunnin’. Seriously, if I lived here I would be here everyday. Thanks for bringing a great cuppa to Cedar Rapids. Cutest coffee shop/flower shop ever. It smelled so good inside with all the flowers. The Turkish delight iced coffee was delicious and they make the pistachio rose syrup in house.

The sandwich I had was wonderful. The coffee was good. The atmosphere-surprisingly not busy. Good seating - sofas,small tables and high tops. Of course it was almost noontime but on a Saturday that is perfect coffee shop time. Hopefully more people watching next time I come.

Very spacious area. Very chill vibe. Great place to come to do work or socialize. There were various seating options; tables, couches, bar. It was very comfortable! I came here for a London Fog and a quick bite. People are not kidding about the London Fog...it's the best! If you're into tea lattés definitely try it!!! The staff is super nice and very helpful. I definitely would like to come back and try other stuff here. Extremely satisfied with my visit!

Craft'd 'after dark' with artistry and perfection 👌! This was a fab evening in a cute social Hotspot with a relaxing lounge area and tables to gather your friends for board games! However what will be the highlight of your evening, is when you explore their fabulous drink or martini menu! The staff serves up a beautiful cocktail in fabulous glassware! This place is a great trend for providing the daytime coffee shop scene with a perfect Craft'd cocktail after dark. Thank you to the owner and staff for graciously serving our family night of fun! Craftd in the daytime was a welcome visit for their coffees. I chose the malted dark chocolate mocha which was creamy and delicious! Lunch menu serves a variety of sandwiches but this falafel pita sandwich was like joy on a plate! So delicious and highly recommend!!

The owner gave her employees Labor Day off and she's here running the show - I think that's a pretty great thing to do as a boss. Excellent cappuccino, and the sourdough bread she used for the avocado toast was delicious. Great vibes in here, and they have little trinkets, cards, stickers and other small gifts. Highly recommend!

Craft’d is one of my preferred coffee shops. Local, woman-owned and great drinks, food and service. Good for business and casual meetups. Sofa seating areas and lots of tables, large and small. They also sell coffee beans. Parking on the street but I’m usually there on Sundays when it’s free.

Great coffee, location, ambiance, and staff. This is a great meeting spot for professionals, friends, or even to catch up on work! You can find parking right outside the door along the street.

I watched the employee put a customer’s sandwich in the toaster oven then walk over to another business's booth at Newbo. Three other customers came and went after waiting for someone to show up. Then I heard a timer going off and saw the other customer frantically waiting for her sandwich to stop burning. Another couple waited at least 5 minutes while the employee was still chatting with someone at the other booth. She looked back several times and saw this couple, but seemed to want them to just walk away. I felt like I was on a different planet and couldn’t believe what I witnessing. When she finally came back, she didn’t even realize the sandwich was done 5 minutes ago. This place should hire employees who actually want to work.

This Coffee Shop is one of my very favorite. It makes great lattes, London Fogs and Mochas -- my go to caffeines. They make their cookies from scratch and I LOVE them -- especially the Monster Cookies, Chocolate Chips and Ginger cookies. And I have always had great service. Thanks Roasters for all the great work you do!

Got an iced cold brew with heavy cream and sugar free caramel. It tasted like a mixture of fruity-coffee. It was not exactly my calling… Had already left and was half way gone and didn’t bother turning back for a different drink. Had to toss this $6 drink cause I couldn’t stomach it. Their website online says they have the best cold brew. Never again.

A hidden gem in the middle of the city! Hands down THE BEST banana cake I've ever had. It's super moist and flavorful. The coffee is great, there are vegetarian options and dairy-free milk, and the breakfast sandwiches are DIVINE. And they've recently expanded and added more seating area, so you can hang out with friends for good conversation. I'd give it more stars if I could.

My girlfriend and I went here for some coffee and it turns out they have food! I got a breakfast panini and it was so good! Fresh ingredients for sure! The coffee is very good too! Also, they have toast that you can get on its own. I love toast and this is the first place I've found that has just toast! So awesome! ❤️

This is a wonderful coffee and tea shop! Their ice teas that you select are brewed on the spot and delicious! The bakery items are ALL delicious, and their soups give anyone a run for their money! What beats everything is their friendly staff, that genuinely want to make you happy and make a great and affordable lunch! Their paninis are good, and made quickly while you wait!

I came in at lunch since I was given a giftcard. I purchased an Iced Mocha and a Blueberry Muffin. I will admit, the Mocha could use some more chocolate, but that was the best Blueberry Muffin I've ever had. The lady behind the counter was so nice to me I had a smile when I walked away. Please don't get me wrong, I liked the coffee, just maybe do 1.5 or 2x the chocolate and it will be perfect. All in all, nice people, good coffee, and amazing Blueberry Muffins.

Quaint little shop that has all the syrups you could ask for, a delicious bakery assortment, smoothies to espresso! They have a little of everything and everyone there is always so friendly and they take the time to remember your name and order for when you return! Highly recommend this cute little gem. Also has a wall full of pet photos that is awesome to look at while you wait for your drink.

Always fabulous customer service and amazing coffee ☕ BUT I'm starting to come to the conclusion to not order food here anymore. Their coffees and service are always super fast and polite which is why we love coming here. However, the last two times I ordered the lumberjack sandwich it was still cold in the middle. They don't heat it long enough by far. Sad because my wife use to love their lumberjack sandwich but won't order it anymore now. I ordered the Maple waffle sandwich today and the top bun/piece of the waffle was ripped/torn into 3-4 different pieces. There is no way it wasn't noticed when they initially wrapped it. The nice lady handing it to me even had a bit of a sad/guilty look on her face handing it to me when I think back on it. Their food use to be so good and I hope this changes in the future. Food typically takes a little longer so it makes me think they prioritize their coffee speed/quality more anyway. They very well just might want coffee orders so it doesn't hold up the line. Either way, I'm not ordering food anymore here for awhile and wouldn't encourage anything else but their coffee. As always though, fantastic customer service, very polite, and great coffee!

The Northern Lite Latte has been my favorie Caribou drink for years! The barista was helpful and friendly. Despite being a bit on the small side, the scone was delicious!

I love the mobile app. This location always has your order ready to pick up in a timely manner. They keep it clean and they seem to always have everything I want in stock. Today I ordered my drink with oat milk. The staff member confirmed that I still wanted whip, since it’s a dairy product. Great attention to detail!

One of the nicest coffee shop I have been at, and I lived in San Francisco, Chicago. Very nice atmosphere and sunset. I had vanilla hazelnut black coffee.

First time trying Scooter's Coffee only because they mailed me a free small coupon. Inside the store, I was warmly greeted and waited on. The store was nicely decorated and looked very clean. I ordered a hot white moca that was good. I don't order specialty coffee drinks very often because of the cost, but I would go back to Scooter's again.

I come through here when I'm feeling a little lazy about my coffee at home and the staff is always so polite! They even have a conversation with me when we're waiting for the drink(s) to come out. Kiki (or Keke? I'm so sorry I didn't ask for a spelling!) had me driving off with a whole smile on my face this morning! This Scooter's and the one on Edgewood are truly my faves.

Sometimes it's a hot or miss to get the perfect drink but they are always very friendly. Just make sure it's all the way blended. Knowbody wants chunks of ice 😉 wish the prices didn't seem to keep going up. Also they should offer a reward system for people who frequent there often!♡

Lots of drink options and I'm told they get fresh roasted beans delivered every week. Even without the app, the drive-thru has been quick.

I always have the worst experiences at this location, the baristas are super rude and after handing the drink out will just close the window and not say anything. Also they are frequently out of whip cream and will not tell you until they hand you your drink that’s supposed to have whip on it and you have to ask why.. They also tried to charge me $9 for a blender because they said it didn’t come with espresso in it. On the app all of their blenders come with espresso in it and only one drink the Oreo blender doesn’t but you can add for FREE. I never have these issues at the other locations.

The coffee here is really tasty! Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I was given a punch card yesterday when I requested one. Unfortunately when I asked for them to punch my card today the girl told me that only people who use the app get to use the punch card. So, I told the cashier that it wasn't fair and then she give me a dirty look and closed the window. They must have been upset because they loaded down my coffee with too much sugar. I was also disappointed that the large coffee is almost $8 at this location. I don't know how to get a hold of the manager but I hope that they will allow all of their customers to participate in their reward system at some point.

They gave me dark chocolate pebbles and sparkling water which paired really well with my Cortado, and I’m not a sparkling or dark guy at all but I am now. Sometimes they played really loud church music in the back (I know it’s a church but still pretty loud), otherwise really nice staff a great experience.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better flatbread in town. They have the BEST London Fog and the atmosphere is second to non. I'm basically a fan.

I needed a place to check in and get work done—to that end this place is great: a huge space with lots of open seating, attached to a church (Background praise music easily muted out with my own headset). Friendly and inviting. The food and coffee is nothing to write home about—and the service could use a little more speed and getting orders right, but the price is good. If you’re looking for the best coffee in town, it’s probably not here, but if you need a place to focus, is spacious, quiet, and relaxing, this is a great choice.

Update: This coffee shop has opened under new ownership. We had some amazing treats here today. Our favorite were the cinnamon rolls and homemade blueberry butter spread on toast. this place is unique for the large tables and huge windows that let in sunlight. Definitely a place I could get some work done or find a corner nook for a chat with a good friend.

I'm definitely going to start reading the negative reviews not just the most recent ones! This place is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the images. Maybe 3 or 4 booths and same with tables. Mostly junk minus an excellent woodworker and a super sweet jewelry booth. Food looked average. If you are traveling through looking for something cool to do, dont bother with this one!

Cool little market place in the New Bohemian distric. It has a selection of food, coffee, sweets and vendors. Was here in a Saturday, but it wasn't too busy. If you're in Cedar Rapids, stop here and check it out.

There's always something new here, whether it be a new vendor, or the temporary vendors. Half sister took the business card of the person selling macarons and I wish I got a photo of it because they were both adorable and absolutely delicious. Can be crowded when they're busy, but it's a must-go for anyone who hasn't been and is looking for a snack or to kill some time walking around

Nice place to grab a bite and depending on weather, you can sit inside or outdoors. They also have trivia indoors for who may like to participate. I went on a wendsday afternoon not sure how often they do it but its a nice touch to eating and hanging with friends while doing trivia. Something to do in Cedar rapids, IA

I came inside for a cookie and fortunately a business baked them. I didn't explore the market, but it's located downtown and I like the industrial look of the building and the location as a whole.

This is not a coffee shop as the pictures suggest it. This is a coffee roaster. From what they owner told us cuz we went there walking he say they close on 2020 and it was on the center. I don’t know why they picture from the center? But if you go to this place is a warehouse were they roast coffee. They need to update this google cuz people waste time specially if you walk one mile going and one mile back thanks God it was not that hot.

We got some of the All-Nighter flavor coffee at the Hiawatha Farmers Market a few weeks ago, and we love it. Will definitely get more and would like to try some of the other flavors.

This place is so stylish and relaxed. Their sizes are amazing and fulfilling. Their drinks are beautifully presented and flavorful. Service was very quick and the workers were perfectly friendly and helpful

I love this place. I've come probably 4 or 5 times now. Every time, my drink has been good. Service is great as well. It's a very cozy shop, and I like coming in to study. The prices are super reasonable, too. I hate having to dish out almost $7 for a large drink at other coffee shops. Here it's $4 and change.

They sell a selection of good but expensive food and drink. They never run out of seating and the area has a calm bright atmosphere. I would eat here way more if the food was cheaper.

I'm actually a bit sad this week. See, I come over to the library frequently to work on my writing and I often buy coffee at Greyhound Deli. I found out two of my favorite baristas (not just here, but in the entire city) are quitting this week for bigger and better things. It's this sadness that leads me to leave a positive review. This place hires the best of the best and it's always a sad time when one of the employees leaves.

I have only had coffee from here, so can't speak for the food. Every drink I've had has been excellent and the staff have been very accommodating and friendly. They were happy to make a drink that wasn't listed on the menu!

The food was really good and they guys working were really friendly. The options were really nice if you are a vegan get the "Wheel" its amazing just fyi. It kind of took awhile but it was lunch hour and they only had two people working so they did pretty good for how many people there were.

Excellent coffe!!! My favorite is the mocha latte. It's a nice relaxing place especially since it's in a library :) I would recommend a bell at the counter though just for aesthetics.

These people know how to do coffee. My husband ordered a triple shot machiatto made the traditional way. The espresso was smooth and rich. I ordered a caffeine free berry citrus tea. It was divine and perfectly brewed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Sadly, this coffee shop does not offer gluten free food options.

A small nice coffee house where you can enjoy some coffee, smoothie, or hot chocolate. They have some breakfast burrito or burrito bowl, quiche and other breakfast iyems but limited.

This coffee shop has an amazing atmosphere. Love all the space and seating. Feels warm and comfy. The coffee is okay. Better than Starbucks if your using that as a judge. They offer Almond milk and Oat milk options for creamers. The food is all prepared so if you have any special needs to remove cheese/dairy, they can’t help in that area. We would have ordered multiple items but were not able to due to this. I did get a veggie quiche, which I really didn’t care for. Ended up throwing half of it away. It was pretty greasy and bland. If your in the area check Roasters out for yourself. Perhaps it will be a place you love.

I don't get food here, just coffee. Simple black coffee is always fresh, but this time I got the Mayan Chocolate coffee. It was amazing. A dark chocolate with a sprinkle of cinnamon coffee, I don't buy coffee often, but this one I will splurge on!!

Brewed has a nice, cozy feeling with their squishy sofas and comfy chairs and the kind of dimmer lighting. Good coffee, good music, good vibes.

The coffee was delectable however, they did not have cold brew which is a must for all coffee shops in my opinion. The lattes were spectacular nonetheless and still warrants 5 stars

I've visited multiple times, and have always been impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They seemed very knowledgeable about their products, and I have had quality coffee every time. Very cozy, classic coffee shop atmosphere with comfortable seating. I definitely plan to return many more times. The only thing I could wish for is that they were open later, since I love late night coffee!

The staff is very friendly and quick. However, the baked goods and drinks are not great. I've been to this shop multiple times, almost every time I've had a dessert it's been dry like it was from the day before. I've also had various drinks that have been lacking in flavor. For the amount you pay I would expect things to be better.

Another yummy brekkie at Uptown Coffee Company‼️ This charming Marion, Iowa spot has got it all going on! Their own baked treats, Donutland donuts, a huge array of coffee and tea drinks, and delish food offerings😋 Today Louise chose the PB (Peanut butter) crunch, I am sorry I don't have a full description, but it is a bowl full of apple, grain, and pb goodness! I went with the breakfast panini, adding sausage to the egg custard, cheddar cheese, and sriracha aioli. Let's take a moment to acknowledge their extra step in making a rich and creamy egg custard, then gently baking it in a sheet pan to provide a perfectly creamy and delish egg layer in the sammie, an absolutely delightful detail. The service reflects this team's commitment to excellence, fast and friendly, even as the place becomes totally packed with folks eager for specialty drinks and treats. I was in a terrible mood and needed to treat myself. I decided to try a coffee place by my house. I walked into a beautiful cafe and saw fresh baked goods on the counter. I told them it was my first time there and they told me about their menu items. The customer service was amazing. I told them I was feeling a fall vibe and they suggested the candied walnut syrup for my coffee, and an apple cinnamon coffee cake. The coffee was probably some of the best I’ve had, and the coffee cake piece was massive. Prices were great for size and quality of the items. I walked in feeling down in the dumps and walked out in a wonderful mood, with delicious treats that hit the fall spot I needed them to. 10/10

Google maps definitely did not help me get here lol It's a nice little coffee shop with donuts inside. The atmosphere is not quite intimate, but it's alright if you want to have a meeting or just meet friends. I got a cappuccino on my visit and it was as expected of a cappuccino- cute little heart on top

We visited twice during a two day visit to Cedar Rapids. This was a nice sitting in an old downtown building converted to an open space. It still had the really old rolling doors on the brick walls. We enjoyed some coffee, tea and a simple lunch with good customer service. They do not have a huge selection for food but they are no supposed to. Overall we enjoyed the coffee and comfortable place to sit, visit and enjoy ourselves. I will be back to the Early Bird on future visits to town.

This coffee shop was so cute. The menu wasn't very extensive but what they had for food was amazing. They have fresh fruits and great coffee. There is local art for sale and the vibe is super sweet and clean and chill. I would recommend this place to anyone out early enough! I can't always come because it closes to early, but hey, it's the early bird that gets the worm 😂😂😂😂

This shop was super cute when I walked in and had a very upbeat feel to it. However I have to rate it only 1 star because, I ordered a simple 12oz Mocha that ended up being room temp, and tasted like straight milk. I was a little disappointed to say the least, I went back to work ended up warming my drink up so that it was actual hot and added my own chocolate to give it some taste.

The coffee was okay (my cappuccino was more of a flat white that just had a little foam spread across the top) and the woman at the register was straight-up rude. Maybe she was just having a bad day, having worked at my share of coffee shops I get that, but there was just no sign of effort towards being polite and/or friendly. I didn’t feel remotely welcome. The facilities are very nice, though.

Such a cute little place! I love how locally minded they are, from the table of business cards up front to the wall of local events, even have local art for sale on display. I had a simple breakfast sandwich and a chai latte, both tasted great. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely return for lunch sometime.

Brooke opened The Early Bird for us on Sunday for a post wedding family brunch and from the coffee to the food to the general ambiance it was absolutely perfect! Prices were incredibly reasonable and Brooke was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a private event or for just a cup of coffee and breakfast!

This little gem is the perfect spot for a quiet morning cup of tea or java, a small meeting, lunch or a cool afternoon drink. The staff is outstanding the coffee is superb and the food is delicious. I love the Early Bird!

This used to be my go-to place to stop and grab a quick something to start my day. But the last handful of times I've gone have been bad experiences. When their card machine messes up (which it does often), they take it to 'help' and give themselves a 20%+ tip without asking. EVERY. TIME. Which is insane for a dive thru to even ask for let alone do without consent. Iced coffee that was all ice. I got to 380 and it was gone (when it normally would've lasted me half the morning) but still filled to the top with ice. "Hot" coffee that is tepid at best, and tasted stale. Sandwiches burned with hard bread. Really good hashbrowns though. I loved this place, which is why I gave it so many chances to see if it was a one-off or fluke. I doubt I'll be coming back and am just disappointed because it was so good at one point.

I've dined at Dunn Brothers for my own breakfast and lunch needs as well as ordered catering through them for events and it's all been wonderful. The atmosphere of their store is top notch and with catering orders, they are always ready when I arrive and sthe staff has even helped load my car before. Wonderful service here!

I was a barista for almost eight years, so I'm picky about my coffee... Believe me when I say this place is THE place to get your coffee. They carry flavors most places don't, their coffee is INCREDIBLE, and their food is made fresh - you can truly taste the difference! You can also edit the sandwiches because they are made to order. I couldn't ask for more. The price point is a tad higher than everywhere else nearby, but it is definitely worth it. HIGHLY recommend.

This coffee shop has a great atmosphere and great music. They roast their own coffee, so the coffee tastes great. It's my absolute favorite place.

I've ordered drinks from here but never food before this time. And after the really bad experience we had here I would NOT recommend the food, at all. I ordered a Matcha & Cookie which were both fine. I also ordered a Kid's Turkey Sandwich Meal & a Kid's Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich. My kids didn't eat any of it. The turkey was discolored and looked old...and they put mayo on a kids sandwich 🤦🏻‍♀️. The Peanut Butter Jelly wasn't toasted and fell apart after a couple bites which was very messy and thus ended up in the trash as well. And the only chips they had were not a flavor anyone wanted. Worst of all however was the Chicken Sandwich. I ate half which dripped grease everywhere and when I inspected the second half to see if there was something I could do to keep from getting grease all over the place I noticed a hair in the Chicken...needless to say that also ended up in the kitchen. The food was overpriced to begin with (and more than listed on their menus) and with so many inconsistencies and the hair. I would stay away from the food all together.

First time trying out Roasters! I had the avocado toast (comes with pickled veggies on top!) and the soup of my dreams that included sweet potato/squash/carrot/curry and a London fog to drink. Everything was excellent, with fast and friendly service.

Roasters at the library is my favorite coffee shop in town! The spend time making sure drinks are made with care and everything I've ordered, including all my special order items, are AMAZING! I treat myself to one of their Gluten Free Monster Cookies every week and they are soft, full of flavor and enormous. Chocolate chip cookies are incredible too! Roasters offers unique soups, their bean and ham...comforting and delicious. I've enjoyed lots of their different sandwiches and loved everything I eaten. Best part of Roaster is the incredible staff. These women care about people. They are generous and kind and they treat all library patrons with respect and dignity. They take time to get to know their customers and remember names and favorite drink orders. This is a local business I would recommend to everyone, for a great drink, yummy food, and Iowa kindness!

The food was awesome! I got a breakfast bowl with turkey sausage and avocado added to it and it was super flavorful. The roasted veggies and runny yolk were beautiful. My boyfriend also got a fantastic iced coffee!

I ordered a Strawberry and Banana smoothie with milk as my base and it was so refreshing and good!! The cookies are huge too and very flavorful. Not to soft but not to hard either . My kid loved it!! The staff is also super friendly and everyone there made sure we were taking care of.

I think the LIbrary Roasters is a great place to eat at. To me they have consistantly been helpful, friendly and conscientious when it comes to preparing my orders. I have had a breakfast on their menu where the eggs were done perfectly and they even had toast that was glutin free which I wanted to try. The drink I ordered, a London Fog, was exactly balanced between the vanilla and the tea. It was very tasty and I did order that beverage from them again when I ordered a lunch recently. I like also that they go the extra mile to accomodate me. I decided one time to change my meal to go and they easily adjusted to my request with a cheerful attitude and efficiency. I was late for a meeting I forgot I had until that moment.The time I had lunch, I ordered the turkey sandwich as a wrap instead and I was not disappointed at all. They offered a few choices for the bread part and I like that. The wrap had a generous portion of the turkey and veggies just the way I like it besides a yummy dressing. They listened and answered my questons so I could choose what I wanted from what they had to offer. Kudos to the staff. I plan on returning again to enjoy the service and savor the fresh and delicious food listed on the menu. It is a great way to enjoy a meal with so many books around. A perfect combination! The food I got was great and customizable. I was served by amazing staff who were kind and made sure that my order was right. However, it was expensive and not the quickest food.

I placed an online order (6051715818646510.) It said it would be ready in 10 min but I ended up waiting there for over an hour before I go the ready notification. Only to find out that the employees have to mark it ready in order start prepping other foods. So I waited another 20 minutes for a total of almost 90 minutes. My smoothie was room temperature at this point so I asked politely if it could be remade. The staff was very nice about the situation as was I. This is an issue with the online ordering and pick up service. On top of all this I had order 2 sandwiches with modifications (no onion amd tomato, no onion) they both came with onions and tomatoes. I'm disappointed to say the least.

Panera serves simple but delicious salads, sandwiches, soups, and bakery items. My favorite is their Pick 2, with half a sandwich and cup of soup. In the day I visited service was fast and friendly. My food arrived hot (soup) and cold (sandwich), just as it should be. Everything was made to order and delicious. Tables are well spaced so our friend with a walker could maneuver through. I ordered an additional cup of chicken noodle soup to-go. Unfortunately the cup wasn’t filled all the way, and there were few noodles and nearly zero chicken (see video).

Friendly atmosphere, the employees were respectful and courteous. Ordered the bacon turkey brovo. A smash hit for my hunger spot. Good sandwich for the price if you dont mind spending an extra dollar. Parking lot had its spaces, but front row your not getting a spot unless you're handicapped or doordash. Great seating area, and clean, especially for the amount of traffic coming and going.

I rarely do reviews this low, but this Panera Bread deserves low marks. I put in an order on the Panera app for in-cafe eating - for 2 “you-pick-two” lunches. The app worked fine. Then when the order came up, it was bagged to go….. then we opened the bag and found this “partial baguette”! Why anyone would serve this was beyond me. Well, ok, that was the tip of the iceberg. We didn’t get the soup on the second order and neither of the sandwiches were marked for us to figure out which belonged to each of us. Up to the counter….. let them know first that we had asked for in-cafe pick up and not in bags to go, then asking which sandwich is which? Since they weren’t marked. Staff in the kitchen was defensive and argumentative when telling me “this one is hot” and “that one is not”. So, we asked “so what are these sandwiches”. I had the receipt in front of him this entire time. He figured it out looking at the receipt and told us. Then, we showed him the baguette and he said “well it just got pulled apart badly” (as if that made it ok?!). Then we asked for the missing soup. He said “there is no soup in that order”! I looked at him and said “this is a you-pick-two as shown on this receipt - and it shows the chicken and wild rice soup “! He then grudgingly put soup in a to-go cup and also in another bag! We already didn’t want all those disposable cups and bags….. also of note is that the portion sizes were not the same as the last time we went to a Panera Bread, but have no idea if that was a mistake or a Panera Bread cost cutting thing.

I should’ve read the reviews before going here, good no taste food quality no there, mess up on your order then give it back sloppy, wast of money and time, Panera manager do better job.

went to the Panera, Paid for food, but was unable to obtain any. Waited 15 or so minutes for it to go order, Had not been started yet, Said it would be another 15 to 30 minutes, Requested refund, Told me they would do it, but did not. Called customer service, They tried to offer me an expiring $15 coupon, Which was unacceptable. Said that it would take 30 or more days to complete a refund and not try to compare me into taking the coupon rather than refunding my money. Do not recommend this place to anyone Who needs their food in less than 45 minutes. Customer service response Was also unacceptable suggesting that quality of Panera continues to decline

I got the big bowl of chili. Absolutely horrible!! Hormel chili in the can is better than this crap. $9 down the drain. Only ate one bite. The rest of our food was just ok. I'm super disappointed because their soups are usually good.

I recently visited this store to buy a loaf of sourdough bread and was very disappointed. The bread was stale, dense, and lacked the characteristic holes and lightness of a nicely fermented sourdough. The taste was off as well. I'll stick to buying sourdough from Aldi, where it costs half the price and tastes much better.

We learned about this bakery in Cedar Rapids as the Peddlers Fork mentioned they feature some of their bread. Service was friendly and excellent. We bought challa bread, monkey bread and cinnamon rolls.

Stopped in hoping to find a treat and found a GOLD MINE by accident! Family owned and operated, family recipes, intentional, wholesome ingredients, and incredible products that would speak for themselves but you would be missing out on meeting the wonderful people that make this place what it is. I've passed by many times mistaking it for an industrial baker for larger markets, but I can't wait to come back for any of my bread needs in the future!

Very disappointed. The staff is... strange to say the least. I got a loaf of bread and it had a really bad aftertaste. Wasn't just me either, I shared the bread with three other people, all who agreed there was a very bad aftertaste.

Not only are the breads and baked goods delicious and well-priced, staff are friendly and helpful. Not sure which loaf to buy? They'll offer you a sample. Ditto for baked goods. I'm having a strawberry oatmeal bar for breakfast after sampling a (generous) few bites. And when I purchased two loaves of bread to bring to a client's employees, the very nice woman at the counter not only offered to slice but also packaged the loaves in a box for better display in the breakroom. I love this place!

I'd never been here before but have always heard good things. The front-counter person was so helpful and let me try some samples. She told me they grind their own wheat and use simple ingredients, like honey to help preserve the longevity of the bread. She even offered helpful tips on freezing the breading needed. BTW, the rosemary basil bread is phenomenal!

My wife and I had lunch here for the first time. Very helpful friendly service. Very good lunch. And we picked up a six pack of ginger cookies. My wife had the tuna salad on sourdough and loved both the bread and the tuna salad. I had the BLT and the bacon was plentiful and crisp. Will be back.

A cozy cafe tucked away just off highway 100. I decided in the ultimate iced coffee, which was described as being like a Vietnamese coffee. I really enjoyed it. The prices were reasonable and the barista was friendly. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. This seems like a nice place to meet up with friends or get some work done.

Great establishment, and by far the best in the area. The wife and I didn't know what to expect when walking in. Greeted with warm good mornings from staff, very helpful explaining the specials, and any questions we had as *first timers*. Extensive drink and food options with quality outcomes on both. We ordered the California Club, and the Reuben for sandwiches. And the drink special was a Coconut creme pie latte. Everything was fabulous 👌 👏 👍. Plated well, served fresh/hot. The noise was a bit much for anyone wanting to work remote, or host a meeting on the main floor. Mr Beans offers indoor seating, isolated seating, a meeting room, and a very cute outdoor patio for seating ( with umbrellas )They were very busy at 9am on a Thursday. Local artists can display and sell their craft here. They also offer a bring your own cup/mug and for 2$ they offer a free refill coffee bar with 4 flavors plus a special of the day/week which is Chocolate Raspberry ( today's 4 flavors were Fair Trade, Sumatra med/dark single origin, Columbia, and Hazelnut Creme ) All their beans are roasted in Iowa ( Des Moines area **Friedrichs is a Des Moines based artisan roaster thay ships nationwide** ) They do offer a conference room for larger gatherings, events or meetings at 25$/hrs or 100$ for the day. Highly recommend taking time out of your day to enjoy Mr Beans 🫘. We will be back for sure. The parking lot is large, accommodating and always full you'd think it was a full fledged restaurant. *ALSO* the restrooms are VERY CLEAN and well decorated and fun. This business cares about its employees, patrons, and it's image to the public. Who doesn't love Mr Bean!?!? 10 out of 10 experience.

Great coffee and very reasonable prices. Had a quad espresso and a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin for under 7 dollars. Can’t beat that. Plus their lunch sandwiches are great too, yet in a town with limited breakfast sandwich options that aren’t fast food, this is a winner.

Wife has been here many times but today was my first. I can tell why she loves it so much. Had a breakfast panini with house made bread and a mango smoothie while lounging on a comfy chair in a sunroom. It was like I was in a nice cottage on vacation from my busy day. Miss it already.

The reason I'm 2 starring scooters is cuz of their app. It only let's me redeem 4 missing smiles a month. Not to mention when the update happened the platform changed. I use to be able to keep my rewards for 1 year. Now that's not the case.

This store holds no cake to the one on Kirkwood blvd. In taste of your product/order and in filling their cups up (always just a little over half. If I want to pay half for something, I definitely would not go some place like this specific store. Been there 3x's and same thing. I I will stay with, and enjoy, my Kirkwood store thanks.

Placed a pick up order for cold brew with lucky charms cold foam but received brown water that had no taste of either coffee or marshmallows. Was not even drinkable. Will not be returning.

I try so many times to like this place but you can tell they put hot coffee in thier coldbrew ... Like i kinda understand the ice coffee made that way but not cold brew.

Edit: After a bit over a year, I chose to return to the Westdale location and was pleasantly surprised that they filled the milk with no problems and they were more or less friendly. The inside seating was closed to the public. Origional: I frequent several Scooters Coffee shops around the Cedar Rapids area. I almost always order the same thing, with the primary variation being the flavoring. I order a large ____ iced latte with an extra shot and extra milk (all requests made at the speaker outside in the drive through). The first time I ordered this at the Westdale location when I got to the windows they were exceptionally rude about the extra milk saying that it wasnt allowed, in fact one employee yelled at another over me wanting the extra milk to the top. I believe I ended up talking to the owner at a later time as I left a review in their app. He stated this was not a Scooters corporate policy and would contact the store. Fast forward to a week or so ago and I decided to try this location one more time. I made the same order, same request with unfortunately the same result. Although this time there was only one employee working so no one got into trouble. The batista even called the manager to check her policy. I always make the request for extra milk at the speaker to give the option for an up charge as I'm willing to pay for what I prefer it to taste like. I can easily say I'm willing to drive to the 1st Ave location to avoid the one by Westdale at all possible costs.

Great flavor, but this is the 3rd time I’ve been to this location and gotten a cup that’s 3/4 full. If I wanted a medium I would have gotten a medium. I was a barista for 3 years and this is just something that is really frustrating. People are paying for ounces of product, and when they don’t get what they pay for, that’s just kind of whack.

Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee. Waited on by a great person named Preston. Excellent coffee!

I am stuck on the Rocket Pop. When I get done with my gym workout and they are open it's a must stop. Today there was a very knowledgeable young man that helped me get the new stack wellness cafe app uploaded onto my phone and working. Every time I go in the place is very clean. They have a very large protein powder selection. They have an excellent red velvet shake during Valentine's season which I wish they'd bring all year round. It's really good

I’m not big on the whole “wellness” thing, I just wanted a low calorie lunch option and so I tried this place out. Super friendly staff, very flavorful sweet chili beef salad, and a sweet strawberry/raspberry/orange smoothie. It was $15 for the salad/smoothie combo. Really glad I found them!

I love the food and smoothie options. I love that everything is fresh and so healthy! Fast and friendly service is a perk too. And the new app + rewards makes the whole experience even better!

I came into the Edgewood location on 6/10. I order the same thing every time and always look forward to it, it’s always amazing. I’m not the type to leave a review, however my service on this day was disappointing. The worker handed me the wrong item (complete different option of food than I ordered). She then made the correct item and mentioned to another worker how “small” the wrap looked. I was disappointed as the wrap was about half the size it usually was. I was not going to review but even though it was small, over half of it was bad chicken. Not cooked chicken, the kind you spit out instantly. I was very upset, not only about the wrap being incredibly small but also not even edible.

I love Stack for a healthy fast food option! The reason im writing this review is to highlight the awesome customer service i recieved from this location. I was in a hurry to leave town and accidently placed an order but to the wrong location. I called the Edgewood location and the woman was super helpful; she called the right location to put in the order for me. I so appreciate her time dealing with MY mistake.

I stopped in on a Sunday morning at 9am when they opened. There were two young gals working, one with long dark hair in a low ponytail and one with just below shoulder length sandy blonde hair. The low pony tail girl was doing all the work while the other gal spent the entire time I was there playing on her phone....texting and then had the camera on facing her looking at herself and playing with her hair (I saw this personally). She looked at me as I stood at the counter waiting for someone to help me and then went about wandering the building as if she was looking for something that she misplaced on her closing shift the night before (her words, not mine). She never once acknowledged me besides looking at me and then ignoring me (even though when I walked in she was at the register) and the girl with the low pony tail had to walk away from the shake she was making to help me. They never turned the "open" sign on to alert people they were there. This was just a very disappointing experience. It's a good thing my wrap was good.

Busy coffeehouse during the farmers market but I have to love that they have a full menu including chi latte and matcha that I haven’t seen available at any booth. A neighbor walking by asked where I got my match and luckily they had a huge coffee fly guy so I could easily point them out. It was worth the short wait on a very busy market day! Thank you for being open and serving up great hot and iced matcha with real honey.

First time customer. I enjoyed this quaint establishment. I believe they may have had a new barista/cook who was struggling with keeping up with the orders, so there was a longer delayed time than normal but the supervisor made it right by offering a baked good as an apology. I didn't mind waiting. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, the coffee was great! I will visit again.

They are known for their great food and coffee BUT they also have the BEST fresh squeezed lemonades!! Almost any flavor you can think of and they are huge! Highly recommend anything they have. The staff were all welcoming and even gave suggestions on some popular picks:)

I came in and got lots of homework done. Nice, clean, quiet atmosphere that has calming music playing that is not overwhelming. I enjoyed a turkey Bacon Club sandwich and a cinnamon roll. Food was great and staff is very lovely

I had an amazing time at this coffee shop definitely one of the most beautiful places to in and the latte was excellent! Their coffee is like magic! I will definitely be returning and recommending.
