Personally I would avoid eating noodle soup dishes here cause they serve one bowl enough to feed at least 2 people, which is frustrating because most people don't even eat THAT much... Sometimes the meat they serve along with the noodles are chewy. Worst of all the broth tastes so plain and it's just difficult to eat all of that when it doesn't taste good. It's actually pretty bad when I'm not one to leave food in my bowl, I couldn't finish half of the noodles. Only the quantity fits the price but not the quality. Some of the other menu items looks delectable, if I ever eat here again, I'm looking forward to eating the other food items but I just can't eat noodles here again. Sorry Anyways I enjoyed eating baymax :) better than the noodles

I actually come and eat here more often than I thought I would. Xiao long bao is one of my favorite food in the whole world, and this is where I find the best one in town. Today, on top of xiao long bao, we ordered the dan dan noodle, pork noodle, and wonton noodle. Dan dan noodle is a personal favorite, it is not an easy taste if you've never had one, but I think it suits Indonesian tastebuds as its flavor is strong and thick. the pork noodle has quite a strong meat smell to it, so if you're sensitive about it, take note. The wonton noodle is so light and easy to eat, a taste that everyone can love. Place is clean here and the servers are quick on their feet and very gentle with their explanations and our orders. Will definitely come back from time to time. Oh, includes pork. Non-halal.

disappointed with the changes, the cooking is not the same like it used to, the noodle is still ok even is not the same but the portion is less than before, zcechuan fried chicken taste like kfc with chilli (no taste of zcechuan pepper at all) and mostly salty chillrd slice pork is not the same anymore, something is different and very salty. for the owner, please watch the quality and the stability, this used to be one of my fav place to eat while at Ciputra World. consider for your customer satisfaction, where we wanna eat good food we are willing to pay. Pay the price that is worth the price.

Xiaolongbai was good, i love their scallion noodles and their broth. Fried rice was okay, but the prices are abit on the steep side thou. During the weekends, the service can get real slow, but as you can see from their open kitchen, they have been working non-stop, their managers with black suits also went in and out of the kitchen helping out so can't really complain there...

Just visited Xiang Fu Hai Chinese Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! This is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Surabaya, and definitely worth it. Their menu offers a wide variety, and almost everything tastes great. The dim sum, in particular, is a highlight – truly some of the most delicious in Surabaya. They used to have a Buy 1 Get 1 Free All You Can Eat Dim Sum promo on Wednesdays from 12 PM to 3 PM. I'd recommend calling them to confirm if this offer is still valid! Beyond the fantastic food, the ambiance is comfortable, and the staff are quite attentive. Highly recommend for any Chinese food or dim sum lover!

Xiang Fu Hai Cuisine was a chinese restaurant at Voza Tower / Vasa Hotel. It was pretty quiet at the time we ate there. As expected, services and atmosphere were exceptional, however their dishes were not that special. Some of them were too salty and considered pretty standard compared to other legend authentic chinese restaurants.

Absolutely one of good fine dining Chinese restaurant, it's located on 6th floor of Vasa hotel. The food is superb. The taste and presentation is excellent. Great staff and services, will give you the best dining experience. The minimalistic but fabulous interior really gives a great ambience. I have to say, this is one of the best kwetiau spots I’ve truly enjoyed. No need for too many words, I just really loved the food here. The dishes were spot-on, and the service was great too. Don’t be put off by the queue, it moves pretty quickly, and the food comes out hot and fast. Honestly, no complaints. Totally recommend giving this place a try!

going to this place as recommended by local coffee shop owner- the kwetiaw siram is well balanced and a good comfort food. especially if you're sick and need something healthy.the shop is crowded even on 5pm ish--- a lot of locals from different generation eats here. on the downside-- the waitress is not knowledgeable about the product. I asked her to describe the taste (sweet/salty/spicy) as its my first time here, but she only said "it's just like the normal"... not a friendly description for a first timer guest in this place.

Can someone please explain to me as to why this restaurant hasn’t received a Michelin Star??? It’s either they need more recognition or the owners don’t want it. We are here on 7/7/25 and spent 226600 rupiah for 2 people. It is quite expensive. The food was okay but nothing stands out.

This is The Best Hakka resto in town in my opinion. For me, all the foods here are very tasty. The most I like are mapo tofu and Babi hong with mantao. The ambience are bright, clean and fresh. I celebrated my daughter's birthday here and we are satisfied with the taste of the food. This resto also has a quite big parking area. It worth to try the food here.

By far, the most confusing staffs I’ve ever seen in any restaurant I’ve been on. In a good & bad way. So…, it was the week in which the Lunar New Year was held. The atmosphere of this restaurant alone, can tell you that it’s a prestigious Chinese restaurant. Thus, it was fully booked all day & all week. They were unbelievably understaffed, to a point of me seeing them borrowing other staffs from a neighbouring restaurant. And don’t get me started with the amount of miscommunication. What was very impressive however, was that not a single plate was broken from their constant role out of dishes. I genuinely respect the hustle of the staff members there, even if they were far from a well functioning team. Whoever managed the place must be on some crack, to not be prepared for the wave of the Lunar New Year.

This is no-pork Chinese Food restaurant. Try their ifumie, gurami saos Padang, sapo tahu seafood and ayam wijen. Overall, yummy taste and suit our appetite with highlight on their gurami and chicken. Cozy interior ambience and atmosphere. The service was also as good as restaurant standard. However, related to the portion and the price, it’s quiet imbalanced.

Ming Garden used to be our favorite place; though it is pretty pricy, the food tastes terrific. It had been years since our last visit because of the pandemic, and today, because we had to wait for our car to get updated next door, we revisited our Fave Chinese food restaurant. The ambiance is still the same as several years ago, with a more classic feel of a family Chinese food restaurant; they don’t aim to be a hip Instagramable resto like all new players, but the service is remarkable from start to finish. We ordered several favorite menus from our experience; we used to love their fried rice wrapped with lotus leaf, so we ordered that, also a portion of Angsio Shiitake Mushroom and one basket of siumay. The Siumay is good and tender, and the shitake mushroom is also good, but we’re a bit disappointed with the fried rice because it tastes bland; the shrimp and meat are plenty, but the overall taste is not what we expected.

Ming Garden is famous as one of legit Chinese food restaurant in town since years ago. The price is on the high range but it is a restaurant so understandable. They offer various Dimsum menu. You can book VIP rooms for small group. I believe there are lots of delicious menu. But try the kolobak, it's delicious. The shrimp in the bamboo is also amazing. A bit of input: please improve the xiao long bao quality, it's not the proper xiailongbao without the broth pops, and the skin is too thick. Overall is good for sure.

Had a family lunch here, the restaurant was quite packed so the manager suggested us to take the 2nd level restaurant. The restaurant ambience is like ordinary chinese ballroom. They served many variants for dimsum and they tasted quite delicious. Their main course were also quite delicious eventhough they were pricey for the small portion. Don’t hesitate to ask for the price of menu as they don’t have price list on their book menu especially for the beverages. Need some improvement in the service area. We ordered additional white rices that only served after all the food was finished. Also, some of the food was served after we asked for it over and over again.

All beverages menu also has good variety including theirs snacks. *Single Dining Chairs is dirty cause of usage based material from fabrics, looks like is often to be use, shall taken care more often to make it clean looks.

The food comes out really slow (1hr 30mins) until we’re full before the 2nd last order came out. We already cancle the dessert 7 mins before it came out but they still give the same reason “it already came out”

It's have 2 floor. Suitable for engagement and wedding party on a medium people number (approx. 40 table). Standar taste of food & a little bit too salty. The air conditioner not enough cold. Only cool. The badroom lighting was a little dark & needs cleaning service to dry the floor. The toilet door lock was like usually. Should be turned down so that the iron pole can enter the floor hole.

Excellent Chinese food reataurant. Love the food we had for dinner there last night, but service could be better. They asked if we wanted the sauce of the sweet and sour fish separated or not. We said no need to separate the sauce. However, it came with the sauce separated. The place is spacious. Good ambience. Service was quite fast, just need to pay more attention to guests' requeats.

The waiter took the order without making notes, when I mentioned it he just tapped his head means that he'll remember. Then another waiter came out to reconfirm our order for the rice. Its one of well known chinese restaurant in town maybe because it has been around for a while..it specialized in hainanese and hakka cuisine..we order lumpia udang (prawn croquete ),sup asparagus and nasi haisom (braised sea cucumber over rice)..and its delicious..the flavour is spot on,very original and almost perfect in my taste..

It's an okay place. The food is okay. The interior ornaments are decent. The outer is not. Don't ask about the toilet because it's not the cleanest in the world. If the place is crowded, it's kinda warm inside even the air conditioners are fully turned on. Overall, the place is not going to give you special things, but basic restaurant stuffs.

From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by friendly staff. This is a new fine dining Chinese restaurant in town. The cozy, modern oriental setting made for a perfect dining experience, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The charcoal-grilled pork char siu was served in an interesting way and tasted great. Their Yangzhou fried rice was the tastiest fried rice I've ever had. Then, their Cantonese fried chicken also tasted good and crispy. Although the staff initially served the wrong portion size of one of the dishes I ordered, the restaurant was responsible and quickly replaced it with the correct dish. Even though the food is a bit pricey, it is definitely worth trying. I highly recommend this spot for a fine dining experience.

So, finally tried Han Palace and i was very satisfied. Staff was friendly and ambience is amazing. Food and drink variants was diverse. Though price is bit pricey, but the taste very well compensate for it and the portion also fair. Place also spacious so you dont worry about parking lot. All in all recommended to try and 10/10 will come back again.

Had a family dinner here for a birthday. My mother and I went in earlier to determine the menu beforehand and had Kak Mini help us. Excellent service from Kak Mini; she was so helpful with suggesting what dishes to order. Everything we ate was so delicious, I especially liked the black pepper beef and wasabi mayonaise shrimp. Old premium chinese restaurant in Surabaya, their taste barely changes after all this time. Although in my opinion it doesn't taste as good as it used to be, the ingredients are kept fresh albeit the lack of customer the time I went there. The interior of the building was not cold and a bit dark when I went there, maybe they're trying to be thrifty. I think its time to do some renovation because their interior is old af by today's standard. Service's good and my food were delivered quick.

We attend a friend's wedding at this restaurant. Good looks are quite wide. There are two floors ... which upstairs can see shows on the 1st floor. The service is very friendly and deft. The cuisine as a whole from various menus is very tasty. Close to the highway. Parking is still on the highway, but Vallet Service is available. Table Setting with seat cover and ribbon. For weddings it is very appropriate, with a good sound system and not noisy. The interior design of the room is quite modern and beautiful. Touchdown in Surabaya and my family and I decided to dine first here after checking into our hotel. The restaurant seemed to be needed an upgrade, as one could tell the material seems dated. Unto the food, which I find all to be tasty and delish! Most o the Savoury side, which is to my liking 👌🏻 Perhaps too much of the msg used, as I found myself drinking a whole lot during meals, couldn't complain much. The highlight of the dish, I must sy is the Hot & Sour soup w/ Wonton and the baby Kailan. Veggies were crisp and perfectly cooked and seasoned 👍🏻 Would I come back again, most definitely‼️

We ordered the Garlic squid, it’s a bit over cooked, so it tasted a bit like chewing rubber onions, but doable. We expected it to be buttery and soft. We added the shrimp winton noodle soup, there were 4 wintons in it, and the last one is filled with chicken... chicken?! Yes, you heard me. The Peking duck was nice, but it’s their specialty, if they also f¥&k this up...you get the idea. Oh, Surprise comes when your bill arrives... the price you saw on the menu doesn’t include 21% tax! I attached the duck photo here for your reference, go ahead, take a real good look, and decide whether it’s really worthy it or not. 😉

The roasted duck was slightly hard, but the gravy and sauce were nice. Overall the dishes were average but the price is slightly higher. Service crew are friendly. Great ambiance for corporate dinner.

This place is one of the best chinese food restaurant in Surabaya in my opinion. The foods we ordered is prepared very fast. The taste is very good across all the menu we ordered. The atmosphere reminds us of an old chinese restaurant with modern twist. One minor complaint, our table is close to the cashier where there is a chair for people ordering take out. It makes our guests havibg difficulty to sit to their chairs. Overall, recommended.

One of the best non-halal restaurant with chinese interior and chinese song played to accompany your dining experience. It served hakka chinese food. It is on weekdays when I visit this place, but it is almost full for dinner. If you are planning to go here during weekend or holiday season, it would be better if you book a reservation for your convenience. They have 2 floors. Both are for public, but usually the second floor is used for events (if any). It is said that they closed on 8 p.m. and it is true. They started to collect the dirty plate and cutleries. Most of the menus are available in 3 sizes/portion (S / M / L). S for 2-3 persons, M for 3-6 persons, and L for 6-10 persons. All of my picture below are in M portion, except for gurami (it is 1 gurami), babi hong (it is S - you will get 5 slices) and ayam goreng kanton (it is 1 chicken). The staffs services are ok, not too friendly (no smiles) but also not rude. The parking lot is for other restaurant nearby and by first come, first served system. I do not know any other drinks than the chinese tea. It is free refill.

The food was good with wide varieties of menu. Soka crab was good, but Fillet kakap is not recommended, the fish wasn't fresh at all. Angsio tahu jamur was fine. Place is quite spacious, very cozy and good ambience. Private rooms are also available. Quick serving and pleasant service. Spacious parking space.

Chinese food inspired by different Asian countries cooking. Walked in did not expect much but walked out quite happily. I was by myself so I ordered light dishes: corn soup and sautè vegetable with assorted mushrooms. Soup okay but the veggie was delicious. Balance of taste and texture. Ingredients fresh. The place looked quite new. Modern setting & clean. I hope it would exist for long time so I can try more dishes. I normally stay in the hotel just walking distance from this place.

I had one of the best meals in my two weeks in Indonesia at Melati restaurant in Malang. The staff recommended Pecel Blitar, and I also ordered steamed shrimp dumplings and an ice green tea. Everything was excellent. The restaurant is huge, the menu has so many different kinds of dishes, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely a must try!

An upper class restaurant in town. Very popular among tourists and locals. A restaurant set up inside the museum which gives the feeling of an imperial dining. The uniqueness of the place is second to none. Surrounded by antique priceless collections from nobel family to enjoy before and during your meal. The food is very well garnished and look interesting. The variety of the menus is ranging from Indonesian, oriental and international menus. The food is tasty come with reasonable price. Variety of local and traditional drinks, local sweets of many choices. The restaurant is pretty busy so that maybe better to reserve in advance. Pool side tables are favorite.

Delicious food! Although a lil more pricey than your standard restaurant in Malang, it was worth it in my opinion. Pasta was delicious. Coffee was meh but pretty good overall. Service was great, staff were super friendly, but they didn't provide us with napkins, forgot about the chilli flakes I've asked for earlier on, and a bunch of missing items when I asked for the bill.

What can i say? As someone who already tried almost all the restaurants in malang, this place is definitely the best in Malang. Great food, great ambience and over the top service. I always come here for special occasions and this never disappoints.

The most elegant restaurant we have been in Indonesia so far. The forniture and atmosphere make you travel into a colourful exotic world. The staff is kind and friendly even late in the night. Thanks to their recommendation we could taste two delicious local dishes. Juices were also delicious. The service was fast and prices were good too.

I visited the restaurant for dinner and ordered the fried rice, which came in a generous portion—enough for two people. The taste was excellent, making it a satisfying meal. At around IDR 40k, the price was quite reasonable given the size and quality of the dish. The service was impressively fast, especially considering how crowded the restaurant was. Overall, it was a great dining experience with good food, reasonable prices, and efficient service.

Halal chinese food. This one is halal, there is another Gang Jangkrik restaurant that is not halal. Serves delicious chinese food such as Fried Rice, Fried Noodle, Pangsit Mie - special noodle with dumplings, stir fried vegetables, chinese fried chicken, and others. A little bit expensive. But reasonable, because you get premium taste and quality.

Nice Cwiemie and Es Jadul. Their fishball also tasty one. They said one the best Cwiemie shop in town.

I ate chicken poridge special with my family. The porridge's taste is good and its served with bigger slices of chicken than what is sold on a street vendor. Probably this is an original recipe, but still I am not use with this version. I heard this branch serving halal foods which I must thank them for the consideration. And they absolutely give me the best quality of porridge. My final verdict for the food is 4 stars. However, I ate the porridge with a fork. There's no spoon left for me. It's sad and the waiters are not checking me whether there are enough spoons and napkins on the table. The utensil is clean though. Nevertheless I gave them 3 stars for this. Well, the place is nice and I have nothing to complain about. So I give 5 stars for the atmosphere.

Very nice and bouncy texture of their noodle, with plenty of toppings. The side chilli-sauce is very spicy. If you can't handle spicy, beware! Service is quick and efficient. Not on the cheap side though. Overall, decent dinner, though not mind-blowing.

Everything in my opinion is a taste of nostalgia value, however the dishes in my opinion are so-so.. classic chinese-indo jatim taste .. we ordered cui mie , fried rice , koloke, bihun goreng.. place is very nice and family friendly though, if you are from out of town i would recommend it though 🙏🙏👍

Was here for dimsum. Love the interior, foods are nice, service is excellent. Prices are a bit high, but still worth the value. Definitely going to return here 2nd visit on june 1st It was 17.15, so only ala carte menu is available, the waitresses are attentive dan kind. We were informed at first that the kitchen will cook our order at 18, and if we wouldn't mind to wait. And we didn't mind, since the ambient is very cozy, so we enjoy our drinks and talk. And before 18.00, our dinner is already served. Again I'm impressed with every aspects of this restaurant.

Ah yat abalone is one of my fav chinese food resto in Malang. Their XO beef steak, asparagus soup and side dish (kimchi) are top notch. We usually finish with Gui Ling Gao (chinese healthy dessert with texture pretty similar to cincau). It was bitter but compensated by additional honey to reduce the bitterness. A perfect place for family and group dine in, since they had spacious rooms and great services.

Probably this is the best “premium” Chinese food in Malang. Although the price is fancy, but it’s worth every penny we spend. Love the athmosphere so much with luxurious oriental design.

A Chinese Depot serving Chinese food. Although the name stated a noodle house but they served quite versatile menu of Chinese food. I tried it speciality Mie Pangsit and a regular Chinese food Tamie. Taste quite good. Everything prepared accordingly. Tables not much so when it is a dine time it gets crowded and a lil bit difficult to find a seat. Price wise moderate. Give it a try.

The old type of Chinese NASI goreng with high heat wok, so the rice is fried well in those high heat and the seasoning is very oldish (remember those kind of food on my childhood back then), the kolobak taste good as well, pangsit mie also taste good ( a bit salty for me but my friends loved it) nice experience to visit it right away after we arrived in Malang to have breakfast, brunch actually.

The noodles were not great. They had an odd flavor to them and didn’t taste authentic. The soup tasted like powdered soup, and the meat was unchewable, so I left it there. I didn’t like anything about these noodles and would not recommend them.

This is my first time here. We order mie tarik tomyam sea food, mie tarik timyam sapi and mie tarik ramen The taste is good, afordable price. On Sundays, this place is full of visitors. crowded atmosphere so it is less comfortable because the seats are too close together. This is reasonable because they sell at afordavle prices, so that many visitors. Any food can be for children because it is not spicy.

My all-time favorite is the Mie Tarik Pedas, the flavor is bold, spicy, and seriously addictive. What I love most is how consistent the taste has been over the years, just as good now as it was the first time I tried it. If you’re a fan of noodles with a kick and great quality, this place is a must-visit. Always happy to come back!

It's my first time here for having iftar with my friends. I ordered "Mie Tarik Ayam Katsu" and it's pretty good. I quite like the atmosphere, the seats are comfy too. The service is also great, i like them. Perhaps, it's recommended to go with a motorcycle or else since it's pretty cramped to park your car.

I’ve heard many great things about this place. And I have to say, it’s just good. In fact, they’re so far away from great. The dishes were are delicious, but none of them blew me away. Especially with their signature dish, the fried pigeon dish. Quite expensive for just a good taste. I would say their fried beef steak was more worth it. The services was good. No complaints there. But the atmosphere was just loud & inefficient. If you dine with less than 5 people, you’ll likely still get the big table. So unless you’re with a large group people, this isn’t the right place to just hangout.

Almost all of the dished here are in a great taste. Considered as an old chinese food restaurant, people come here usually for the signature dish which is fried pigeon. It was a hit. Juicy, salty, not smelly, and no other restaurant in town can beat this. This place is not as big as the one in Mayjend. However, it has the same crowd. It is completed with high chair but not a wifi service. The price us fair, compare to the taste and the portion. I recommend not to eat here alone to be able to try more than one delicious dishes. For the beverages, try their es jeruk, it is so refreshing.

This place has been opened for a long time and yet still consistent in flavor. Their best dish is the fried pigeon. It is the best in town. The pigeon is crispy on the skin but the meat is moist. The fried rice is also a favorite. The restaurant is always crowded and very busy so parking is a challenge. The service can be better especially at the cashier when the young owner is sometimes a bit moody.

An old school chinese restaurant that's well known among the locals. I would absolutely recommend ordering Burung Dara, Sayur Asin Soup, and Kungpao Chicken. Good luck with the parking though, it's quite packed during lunch/dinner and there are not a lot of available parking spots.

The taste of the food is good, is what you expect for that price. The place is clean and the separation between tables is good enough. The employees use mask but not all of them do it properly. There is no toilet or wastafel, that's something I don't like, nowadays is important to wash your hands. Looks like an employee was having a bad day when I was here.

The place is easy to find. The portion of the food was quite big and all tasted great. I used some vouchers from Ultra Voucher and the staff were familiar with it, so I didn't have any problem when redeeming the voucher.

​The Ta Wan restaurant at Tunjungan is pretty small, and it was packed and crowded when I visited. The store manager wasn't at the front to manage the waitlist. Instead, a woman wearing a UOB lanyard, who I assumed was an employee, helped me out. She was the one who ended up writing my name down and showing me to a table. The food also took a long time to arrive, and the dishes came out one at a time, so the others got cold while we waited. However, the food itself was incredibly good. The flavors were perfect and everything was delicious. They really just need to work on improving their service.

It ain't a secret that HDL is notable for their top-notch service and 'pre-dining entertainment', and has long been the gold standard for everything hotpot. All food was good, especially the shortplate beef which gave the most bang for our buck. I love how the staffs genuinely tried to make diners feel welcomed with the personalised attention they displayed, along with good product knowledge, efficiency, and proactiveness in meeting our needs.

One of legendary chinese restaurant in Malang. This place well known for serving cui mie (noodle), and also another chinese style menus. For me, the taste is just average, nothing really special, just brings back memories about childhood dishes. One thing for sure if you want to eat here is you need to be really patient waiting for your food being served. And also the place is so noisy and a bit messy.

Lovely place to stop in for a bite to eat. We wanted to venture off from our hostel and check out what was around us, when we stumbled upon Gloria Noodle. This restaurant has many different things to choose from and something for everyone. We were greeted and seated very quicky, we were served water and check out the menu. There were so many different things to choose from like, noodles, rice, veggies, chicken, frog, fish and tons more. The portion sizes were quite decent. I was unable to finish my noodles but they were so tasty. We also go the fried chicken to try and it was enough to feed the whole table. I wish I got a photo of it but we dove right in when the plate touched the table. We really enjoyed our visit here, the staff were so nice and accommodating, patient and let us enjoy our lunch. Overtime the restaurant got busier and busier so I feel like that is always a good indication that the food is good. I wish we could have come back to try more different items off the menu. If you are ever in Malang, I would highly recommended stopping in and seeing what you can find at Gloria Noodle.

Was brought here to try the old school chinese dishes and they don't disappoint. The ngoh hiong was flavourful and crispy, with a sauce which complements the taste. The fried wantons/ dumplings were soo thin and crispy, with quite generous fillings! So much better than what I have tried before in also similarly old school chinese restaurant. The sapo tofu was flavourful and generous, with loads of prawn and tofu, flavourful veggie as well. Highly recommended if you're around the area, but be prepared to wait for the food.

Everything here is so good and family friendly place we can order most of the Chinese food I personally liked the birthday noodle and the wonton soup and crispy wonton! Fuyunghai is so good too! If you want to eat individually there, a lot of food options as well which were suitable to your palette. The dessert for ice mocha and ice campur were refreshing , will definitely come back over and over!

This restaurant have been here for decades now, and still serves GOOD QUALITY food, CHEAP for large portions, and DELICIOUS tastes for the mouth. They’ve mastered the word consistency. There’s nothing bad about their food. If anything they’re very good. Not great, just very good. The atmosphere could use some work. But overall, you won’t be disappointed.

Usually have Finna fried rice and Fried noodle, and with Baby kailan for veggies. I've never had any complaints with the dishes. Portion is very big, I always have it shared. It was crunchy and savoury, a perfect appetizer. The fried quail was nicely seasoned, a bit overcooked in some parts, but nevertheless it was a delightful meal. The portion is huge, excellent for a shared lunch/dinner. Service was quick and efficient, will definitely come back here to try their famous fish lips soup!

I was here for my cousin wedding ceremony, the food is good and I heard it is not that expensive to hold a wedding ceremony here. The ballroom can hold up to 40 round tables with good atmosphere.

came here with the family,, the food was like any other chinese food,,, ambience were not that good, since we have another guest booked the half of the place and they were singing all night like they owning that place makes us feels like minority (or maybe they do owning that place, we dont know) if you're planning to take parking spot here, you must be super patience, the parking spot here is only ONE WAY, while other places moving toward future with their building design, this place parking area are doing completely otherwise.

Nice looking place. Clean. Modern. The restaurant’s claim to fame is Singapore Fish Noodle, so of course, that’s what I ordered. After about 10 minutes the server returns to say “we’re sold out. We just noticed.” It’s 11:00. We are the first customers in an empty restaurant. This happens a lot around here. The kwetiau was delicious. Huge portion. I would preferred that I mix it myself. The photo shows the egg on top but it wasn’t served that way. The price is fine for the portion size. 100,000 for hot and sour soup but it’s 4 portions. Unique taste, a bit heavy on the vinegar. I didn’t finish my portion. There’s no consistency. Some meals are a normal portion others are huge. The music sounded like a children’s TV show. I gave it a 3 but my wife gives it a 2 (she’s local).

Meeting rooms available. Service is immaculate and very friendly with excellent product knowledge that doesn’t make you feel obligated to comply. Food is definitely yummy, feels like home kinda food - comfort food that one can eat everyday. The star is definitely hacongkai (ayam terasi) which to me is the best i have ever tried (beneran meresap, fried to perfection - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside) and nasi banjir - very subtle wok hei (bau asap) and light but fulfilling.

The food eventually came out right despite the major misunderstanding with the waitress. We are vegetarian and we expect some difficulties when ordering. We also can tolerate when they make our dish with chicken, so we send them back. Twice. Still tolerated. One of the noodle came with chicken and got sent back to us same with chicken aroma, they just manually remove the chicken. Not cool. The only reason this place get poor star is because I sense there is a major attitude. The waiter I was talking to just ignore me and walk away. I have to really call her back and look her in the eye to explain what I want. They were very ignorant and not attentive to the order. Heck I bet they don’t have proper training and the word “vegetarian” to them may sound like a hi tech / pharmaceutical term. They seem understaff too, because it is hard to find anyone. Food took too long to be served. Such a big place. The atmosphere is good tho, spacious and all.

We used to came to this place much, the soup were delicious, but ever since the hotel open the restaurant have been declining in the matter of services and the food. Friday night we came, and the parking lot is empty as hell, we decided to try, but the waiters is VERY RUDE, That chinese looking middle aged woman, i did not spent about 350k rupiah for dinner with 6 people and have very rude waiterss came at our table and throwing tantrum, hello, we re paying for our money not stealing it, definietly not recomended

Not the freshest sukiyaki ingredients, could see some of the veggies yellowing and other items frozen solid. Cooked food dishes were tasty and in reasonable serving size. Unfortunately, our items came out very very slowly one by one. By the time the last dish was delivered, we were almost done with our meal. The place was spacious, good for gatherings.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. When I called to ask about a lost item, the staff didn’t seem to understand me and just hung up the phone — simply because their English wasn’t good enough. That was very rude and unprofessional. I then went to the store myself, and the staff told me the item wasn’t there. Meanwhile, three of them were just standing around laughing — I don’t know what they were laughing about, but it felt very disrespectful. In the end, I found the item by myself, exactly where I had left it. The staff didn’t help at all, and their attitude was very poor. Extremely bad service.

The food is great but the service is one of the worst. The server and cashier need to be trained. I've been to a smaller place that its customer service is one of the best I've ever experienced. A comparison is necessary so you can know that your human capital matters just as much as your food taste and quality

Went here for lunch 2 days ago. There were 10 of us and we arrived at 11. We tried to make a reservation before coming, but they said they didn't accept reservation, even though on Instagram they provide a Whatsapp number to contact for reservation. How weird. When we arrived, all the big tables for 10 people were occupied. They gave us 2 smaller tables. Actually we were okay with 2 smaller tables if we could combine them. However, they said we couldn't combine the tables. What a strage policy. Not flexible at all. So we had to wait a long time until one of the big tables was available. The dim sum were mostly nice, except for the charsiu bao that tasted different than usual.

One of my favorite dimsum place in town. Located on Java Paragon's Hotel 2nd floor. Must order: Youtiao Cheong Fun (the one with cakwe filling), Pangsit Udang Mayo, Baked Charsieuw Pao, and Fried Yam Balls. Dip all your steamed dumplings into the cheongfun sauce and you can thank me later 👌🏻They also serve chili sauce, just make sure to ask for one when you came. Chinese tea is free flow, counted per person. Queue is a bit long especially during weekends and public holidays. Just make sure to come early during these days.

Been going here for family dinners for years. The taste is excellent compared to many Chinese restaurants in surabaya. Their sunday dimsum are also exceptional, huge range to choose from, and always packed with hungry diners. What attracted our eyes and interest was the abalone with black mushroom over rice. The shark fin soup. It was surprisingly tasty. The shark fin bowl of soup had lots of actual shark fin! Real! The restaurant had a nice selection of different dishes! I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Yummy!!!

X.O Cuisine chains never disappoint with their delicious chinese food and fast serving time. I believe the chef at this particular chain is from Malaysia, though that might have changed since the last time I asked them. Their Kwetiau Sapi Goreng, Swekiau and Nasi Goreng are the best. Absolutely love their chilli oil as well, you can ask them for some to take away with. Excellent service, one of the best out of various chinese restaurants in Surabaya.

Both dish is not tasteful for me but the portion is large. The service time is too long (although there aonly 6 person at that time exclude my table of 4 persons). There are parkir space for 5 cars. The air conditioner is not enough to cool the resto in the afternoon so get ready to get sweat :)

Good food, affordable price. The restaurant opens for breakfast at 7am, and closes quite late at 12am. Their porridge is quite tasty. It comes with salted egg and century egg, as well as crispy fried dough sticks (cakue). There are also various toppings — the pork one was good. For the side dishes, they have a variety of choices. The vegetables (bitter gourd, tofu with chives, kangkong) are all good — it was seasoned heavily with garlic and the vegetables are not overcooked. The meat dishes (King Tu Baikut) was good — the pork ribs are quite tender and the sauce was tangy. For drinks, their winter melon tea was good. It can be ordered warm and unsweetened.
