Did a quick stop for drinks and already want to come back. Ambience and decor was amazing. It’s very immersive with a koi pond and variety of places to sit and relax. Got the lemon drop tonic and chocolate latte, both tasted fresh made with local ingredients. I like how they separate the simply syrup so you can customize the sweetness level for the latte and have vegan milk options. Would recommend!

Yummy food, very beautiful and peaceful place. Only 35 euro for 3 people each had a starter and main dish, drinks and even a big bottle kombucha. We had a vegan, a fish and meat eater, all happy. Update: unfortunately I had Bali belly after the vegan wrap. It never digested even not the next day, I had diarrea all the time and than I gave up and throw up the wrap. How it’s possible not to digest by the next day, it’s really amazing. Had painful cramps and many many gasses… I’m very sorry about it because I really liked the place so much🥺

Visited Clear Cafe in Ubud recently, and I absolutely fell in love with the space! The café has such a bright, airy, and inviting atmosphere, a perfect blend of comfort and style that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. I tried their Nasi Goreng, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served with such care. On top of that, I tried several of their fresh juices, and each one was refreshing, vibrant, and made with high-quality ingredients that complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the visit feel warm and comfortable. So good to be back! Been in love with Clear Cafe for a few years so happy that the food, service and ambiance are as good as I remember. It’s a heaven for vegetarian and vegan but I believe omnivore can find something that they enjoy too.

The food is exceptional (don’t miss the mushroom pasta!), drinks are delicious, and the staff is always kind and professional. The location is wonderful. Such a beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming place. We came here for breakfast, and I had the matcha lattes and a "Dragon Flight" smoothie bowl. It was truly delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. The perfect place to start your day off right.

I loved it overall but certain things need improvement. 😇 I absolutely loved Pelmeni dumplings with jackfruit&mushroom which came with sour cream and butter sauce! 10/10 but i was dissappointed by the stirloin steak i ordered :( first one came completely cold and when i told the waitress it was cold, she immediately took action and they served me another one, second time the food was served warm but the meat was not as juicy as i was expecting but overall the staff was very welcoming, they seemed relaxed and friendly. Also the place has a cozy vibe, especially in the evening! They have a lot of different options to eat&drink. Thank you!

Excellent spot for any time of day. Their menu is so wide ranging that no matter what you are craving they probably are serving it. Never had a bad meal here over our month long stay in Ubud. Service is great. They bring the card reader to you when you check out if paying by card.

I loved my experience at KAFE. The staff were very polite and welcoming. I enjoyed my tandoori chicken wrap and lemon, ginger and honey elixer. They have good wifi and two floors of seating, I was able to get a 5 hour work session done peacefully. Highly recommend the spot.

I love Kafe! I would come almost every morning during my stay in Ubud and sit on the cushions and drink matcha and read a book. I will definitely miss here but excited to come back when I'm ever in Ubud again. Highly recommend!

This is my favourite cafe in Ubud. It consistently serves good meals in an unpretentious setting. The vibe is very down to earth. The staff are attentive and relaxed. I never feel a trip to Ubud is complete until I’ve eaten here.

They have a coffee house , a music store and a restaurant all in one place. You can eat while purchasing CDs and music merchandise or you can look at them while drinking your coffee. They also conduct coffee making workshops. We ordered spring rolls, a smoothie , a tart which were good.We also ordered a vegan dessert which wasnt much good. They have valet parking service, which is very good because we couldnt see any space to park our scooter.

Came across this coffee place on the internet and based on the photos gave it a shot….. WOW, the atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly. I ordered the Define Void…. Strawberry based tea, delicious, and my gf had the affogato 5 elements, which came with two coffee testers. As you can see, very well presented. And most importantly….. THE COFFEE IS GREAT☕️☕️

Five stars to this place for authenticity, creativity, culture and use of recycled items . Enjoyed sitting on the plastic rocking chairs - they were incredibly comfortable! There is a large table at the front where guests can bring their laptop and work. Plenty of plug points . The middle of the shop has retail items for sale showcasing local and international artists . The food prices were reasonable and food tasted good too . Service as prompt and with great vibes .

Tricky place to find especially at night around 8.00pm and not being a local. Around 30 min to find the path. A beautiful view surrounded this Café. The atmosphere must be amazing if they welcome you. Service was really bad from the beginning. The waitress was already unhappy and the first things she told us were close in 20 min. The food is delicious, I had indonesia menu and I loved it. They also have smoothy, healthy food, and indonesia food. The staff also are kind and helpfull, and they served the food quite fast. But, they don't have parking load, you have to come by walk or motorcycle.

Just a short step outside central Ubud, we discovered a magical little neighborhood that felt like another world… The soulful, spiritual side of Ubud I had been hoping to find. Tucked away in a quiet lane, Yellow Flower Café carries that same energy: a soulful vibe, warm and peaceful, with the feeling of a hidden gem. The food was outstanding! The poached eggs with vegetables „The Stack“ were a revelation, and the smoothie bowl was as beautiful as it was nourishing. Everything here feels crafted with care, for both body and soul.

Good food with fair prices. 65k for salad. And cool barista art. The first salad is the Chicken Avocado Salad. The next one is Asian Chicken Salad. The Asian one was the best. It had a good sauce. They also have a lot of coffees. Prices are 36k for the cheapest one.

Came here looking for a place with stable Wi-Fi and A/C, and this spot had both, which was perfect for working. The food was very tasty, and I was really pleased with it overall. The only downside was the bread, it seemed a bit over-toasted, maybe even a little old. That said, the beef bread itself was freaking amazing, so I’ll definitely come back and try it again. I also ordered the Indonesian iced chocolate drink, and it was really nice and refreshing. This place is a very good spot to chill, get some work done, and enjoy good food. I’ll for sure give it another chance next time!

Honestly it was perfect. We ordered Nasi Goreng Lga, grilled cheese sandwich, and a V60 coffee. Everything tasted amazing. The place has a really nice vibe, whether you sit indoor or outdoor. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ubud.

Nice Coffee Bar at a Main crossing in Ubud. Good barista and fast Service. Only the Espresso, (which is the only to give you the pure Coffee taste) was too bitter. Go for a Latte or Cappuccino instead!

Love their power breakfast in the morning. So heavy I did not get hungry until evening. One complaint is their americano are served lukewarm. They should check the hot water temperature before mixing.

The best cafe in Bali hands down! Right from the myriad of artisanal blend options available to taste/ buy to the quality of the beans, food and service, this place is unbelievably good! We went here twice, the first time in the evening for a coffee and croissant and the second time for brunch. We had the ‘Aceh Gayo’ and the ‘Sumatra Kerinci’. The coffee was extremely aromatic, full bodied and perfectly brewed. The almond croissant was freshly baked and flavorful. An absolute hit especially if you are an avid coffee drinker! We ordered the power breakfast with steak for brunch which blew our minds again as to how amazing the brunch food was! In a sea full of copycat cafes in Bali, this is a truly authentic cafe! A 100% must visit!!

Beautiful cafe with amazing aesthetics in ubud. We arrived early as we were waiting for our driver to reach. Had a quick coffee and turmeric drink with croissant. Everything was great quality . Staff were friendly and we would like to visit again.

Fantastic menu, compliments to the chef- everything we’ve had has been delicious. We work around the corner and Lazy Cats has now became a regular lunch spot , despite not being vegetarians. Have tried 6/7 dishes now and each one has been great. Well priced and great price for a bintang. Playlists always hit. Happy customer :)

What a gem! Food was awesome. My fave was the jalapeno quesadilla but the tempeh burger was also very good. Wanna try the coffee and bowls next time! We also got the chickpea burger and tofu sushi

Milk & Madu is such a lovely spot for breakfast in Ubud! We ordered the Eggs Brekky, Orchard Bowl, and Madu Pancakes all three dishes were absolutely top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and courteous, which made the experience even better. The place does get quite busy in the mornings, but the lively atmosphere and cozy ambience make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit in Ubud, and I’d love to come back again!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and even let me do some colouring haha they also offer seltzers on the drink menu which was fun to try! I would definitely recommend to eat and drink at Milk & Madu!!

It looks small from the outside, but the interior is quite spacious and has an upstairs. The coffee is good. We tried the avocado shine, skillet shakshuka, Ubud scramble and coconut chia pudding. It is a nice place to go for breakfast.

They just know how to make coffee. As a coffee lover I know how it should be. I try many places in Bali, include luwak coffe, but they just didn't . This place know how coffee should be. They also max and roasted it by themselves, and the esspresso has the right teast. I didn' try other types, or thr cakes because it was before the close time so I don't know about there quality. The place look nice. Clean and has a roof just to relax and spot to the street.

What a treat! This little coffee house has espresso, cold brew, lattes ,even frappes! I got the mocha frappe which has Hazelnut and chocolate accents of flavor; it is delicious! I recommend adding an extra shot of espresso. It does come with two,but I'm a die-hard caffeine addict 😁

I really liked the cafe is hidden from the most bustling streets in Ubud, giving the guests tranquility they are looking for. Most seats are equipped with power outlets so no battery panic. The staff was nice that she lent me a charger for my smartphone.

Randomly walked into Ubud Coffee Roastery for a cup of coffee. They initially didn't have what I wanted but that was a blessing in disguise cause I ended up getting their Tropical Wild Coffee Coldbrew which was amazing. Absolutely made my day. We also had a regular ice latte which was ok. The staff were ok. There was a lady and gentleman working and the guy was very nice and polite. Note: Rated the food as 5 but we didn't have any food. This is just based on our coffee.

We stopped by Ubud Coffee Roastery one morning for our caffeine fix and were pleasantly surprised. I had the iced latte while my wife went for a hot oat latte — both were excellent, smooth, and full of flavour. We also tried a slice of their coconut banana cake, which was moist, tasty, and paired perfectly with the coffee. The café has a relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside, which offered a charming street view and a great spot to watch the world go by. A cosy little gem in Ubud — definitely worth a visit for coffee lovers!

this cafe has caught me from the first time I walked past it, then the next opportunity came and ofc I went there!! it's honestly a good place for a lot of things, meeting up with friends, remote working, just spending the afternoon/evening for yourself, absolutely cozy and the drinks are amazing to my taste ⭐ the staff are pretty nice and helpful! altho if you specifically go there to work, you might want to come early because there is only limited number of colokan 👍

Great vibes and spacious with a lot of seating. Went in first thing for breakfast. I ordered tofu with rice. Tofu was super light, came out with soy spicy dip. Great for vegan/ vegi. Had the lychee iced drink. Husband ordered the fried banana ( piseng Goreng). They were delicious. Toppings are chocolate and cheese and he only got chocolate. Have a little sauces station which had spicy sauce. Staff behind the till helped us out with the local dishes ingredients, really helpful.

A casual coffee place on Tunjungan Street and always crowded, available indoors and outdoors, there is also a smoking area. The food is also varied.

Great atmosohere, coffee average. Location is ideal by jl Tunjungan. Vintage feel, indoor and outdoor seats available. Open at 9am and food is only available after 10am, so its disappointing that they are not bothered to get ready with ingredients prior to opening.

Lots of snack and beverage here; great coffee and spot for indoor and outdoor seating. There’s one smoking room located at the back of the store. Vintage vibes feel like around the store. Friendly and well mannered staff that helps around the customer with the order such as explaining the menus.

Food is great. Great drinks menu. I am a fan of their peanut butter and caramel shake. I live in the west and was ecited to see a paper cup closer to me I have been to the 2 other branches, staff attitude and service is very polite. This venue was uninviting and staff did not even acknowledge my wife and i when we entered and there was one other customer there.

The food is great!! The price is worth it. The coffee, it is ARABICA, I REALLY LOVE IT 🤍 But the service. Well, it's not that full at the time I visited. Wednesday night, around 8.30 p.m., no one was in the waiting line, even some seats were empty. At the time they gave me my order, they only gave me the food, drinks, and utensils, but without the condiments and the tissue. I did see all of it on the edge of the order bar, but the staff never told me anything (like tell me to take it or etc..). I did give a sign to ask for it, but maybe they didn't see it..well at the end, I need to go by myself to ask for it. I know, my case is not that disappointing but still, it's a nice place which I expect will give a nice service.. It annoys me a lil bit tho..

Although not all the food I ordered was to my liking, I absolutely loved the lava cake, it was definitely the highlight! 🍫✨ The ambience was great, with dimmed lights that gave the place a cool and slightly mysterious vibe. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, which makes it flexible depending on your mood. Service was also excellent. I’d definitely come back again to try something else from the menu!

The food was overall amazing! The staff are friendly and generally fluent in English. Would highly recommend this place to others. Also it's nice to dine at as you can beat the heat. The inside is adequately AC'ed I had the wet burrito (delectable, very filling), my wife had the breakfast burrito (also amazing) and my in-laws had the chicken avocado wrap (was unfortunately a bit dry) and the chicken schnitzel sandwich (the sour dough bread was good but the over sandwich was a bit dry also). But I will definitely come again in my next visit!!

I recently visited Crumb & Coaster in Kuta, and it truly exceeded my expectations! I ordered their Benesari Smoothie Bowl, and honestly, it was out of this world amazing. I’ve tried many smoothie bowls before, but theirs stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The overall ambience of the café is really nice — cozy, aesthetic, and thoughtfully designed. Even the little details, like their premium hand soap in the restroom, show how much care they put into creating a great experience for their guests. I didn’t get the chance to try their other dishes this time, but their pasta and other menu items looked incredibly tempting. I’ll definitely come back to try more on my next visit. Location-wise, it’s just a short walking distance from Beachwalk Mall Kuta, which is super convenient. For those coming by car, parking might be a bit tricky since the café sits in a narrow alley, but they do have parking space for motorcycles. Overall, an amazing spot in Kuta — highly recommended especially for smoothie bowl lovers!

The best breakfast cafe around Seminyak/Kuta located on a busy road. The food was exceptionally good specially the Mango/Coconut smoothy bawl. Egg Benedict’s, pan-cakes and egg croissants were all very good quality including the milkshakes. The cafe was busy for late breakfast but staff was pleasant and efficient. Overall a good experience which I recommend.

Quite surprise to see this place has improved so much since the last time I saw. The resto is more spacious and cozy. Their service is great... All the staffs are friendly and greet foreigners and locals with the same respect and friendliness. The foods and drinks came quick and delicious. I can see my self sitting alone in one of the corner, sipping coffee and eat their cheese n ham croissant while enjoying the busy street there.

I ordered a veg burger (told them to not put meat) and my husband ordered a chicken burger. Both were good. Our mocktails were good too

Watercress Ubud is the place to be on a Saturday night! The live music creates such a great vibe, lively but not overpowering, perfect for a relaxed evening. The waiters here are a rare gem: super attentive, genuinely friendly, and they actually know the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, making it easy to try dishes we might have otherwise missed. We kicked off the night with a refreshing cocktail (highly recommend doing the same!), and everything that followed was just as impressive. Bonus points for their kids’ drawing menu, such a thoughtful touch that kept our little one entertained while we enjoyed our meal. We went for breakfast and returned for nasi goreng night. Overall the food was good, a bit pricey and the halloumi salad was a bit disappointing because it practically had no halloumi, mostly tomato and shallots. Nasi goreng was ok but not over the top! We ordered the shrimp version but it had almost no shrimps, like a whole shrimp was chopped in 4 or 5 pieces. No fried egg on top also. However it was clean and staff was lovely. Not a surprise but also not bad.

Whether you come for breakfast or lunch, Suko is always a great choice for tasty food and drinks. We had two fresh juices, the burrito bowl, and a small portion of fries. Everything came out really fast and tasted great. The fries were perfectly crispy! The staff were super friendly too. The café is quite popular, so you might have to wait a bit for a table sometimes.

Busy, bustling cafe, a local favourite. A down side of this is that it’s a bit crowded and noisey. Probably not the place to chill with a book and slowly sip your coffee. Service is friendly and brisk. Slightly longer wait times for drinks and food given how busy it is. Breakfast food highlights are definitely the eggs on their delicious sourdough bread. Lots of different combinations. I tried several over multiple visits, and all were good. My favourite was the salmon scramble. In contrast, I found the pancakes average. And the coffee is on the bitter side.

Stopped in because the place was so busy and ended up loving everything! We both got the ham and cheese omelette and were very impressed! Their mango and strawberry matcha is phenomenal if you have the chance to try it.

We had an amazing time at Suka 3 days ago, we arrived at 18:40 so it was almost empty and we were lucky to choose a table. We were not waiting too long for our food. Not enough stars for this amazing little gem! We loved our meal at the Elephant!! Our food was both beautiful and delicious beyond expectation. This is a vegetarian restaurant with no meat on the menu. Even if you normally order meat, this restaurant is worth trying, the food is excellent! The service was kind, welcoming and prompt. We had no language issues, the menu had English descriptions and we ordered in English but did our best to thank them in Bahasa. The meal was one of our more expensive meals in Indonesia but it was by far the best, worth every penny! The view was a simply stunning showing of the jungle in the area, while the restaurant was clean and decorated in Balinese style. We're so glad we stopped here for dinner! Stop in and try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Im in live with the place. Perfect location, far from the noise and traffic of ubud center but close enough to spend hours to reach home if you’re living in ubud center. The view is breathtaking. The service is amazing, the employees are kind, polite, funny, nice….. the food is very tasty. The menu looks Italian but the owner is Australian. It’s one of my favorite places. This place is a gem. Beautiful covered outdoor space overlooking the jungle. While my fiancé and I are both meat eaters, we absolutely loved our vegetarian food. That fact that he- a meat loving Italian - loved the Bolognese is a big deal! My burnt sage gnocchi was so good he got one to go for dinner later. The mushroom dumplings were delightful. Mudru Café in Ubud is absolutely perfect all around. I went for breakfast and was blown away by how beautifully presented everything was — especially the breakfast bowl, which was both fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with a lovely mix of modern style and Ubud’s relaxed charm. The coffee was excellent, rich and perfectly made, adding to an already great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. It’s easily the best place I’ve visited for breakfast in Ubud, and I’d definitely go back again next time I’m in town.

Went to try the viral smoothie bowls. Disappointed overall. The chai tea was watery by my standards The smoothie bowl is a bit of a texture nightmare due to lack of toppings, I struggled to finish it as it was basically slop after the first few bites. - for the smoothie suggestion is actually to reduce the amount of the smoothie for better topping/smoothie ratio in turn you could charge less. And my personal preference is a thicker smoothie so adding ice while blending. I will say the rest of the menu looked nice and service was fast and pleasant plus the venue was also gorgeous

My experience at this place was incredible. All the food was delicious, and the service was very good. It was a bit inconvenient to have to pay somewhere other than at the table. I love that they offer different activities and that music is included. In this same space, I also joined a women’s circle, which made it even more special.

I had the best pancakes I've ever had at Mudra Cafe. I highly recommend the purple potato ones. The hot chocolate was also truly excellent. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Bali. The only downside is the wait time. We waited at least 30-40 minutes for these pancakes, but let's just say they were worth it.

I created my own plate, scrambled eggs and avocado on sour dough. Was far too oily for me. Texture of the eggs was good. They were served over the avocado so I lost the flavour of that. Service was good but I did wait a little bit for my food. Maybe the other dishes are better but I think over all there are nicer places around to get your avocado fix. I also had a turmeric shot which was average.

I came here with my Mongolian friend. It was very surprising that the service here was so bad. We called many times to order, but no one came to us. Even though they had seen us, they walked as if they didn't hear or see us. We called more than 3 times. And finally, I walked alone to the waiter to order. While eating, I also asked the waiter twice for more sugar, but no one brought it. So I drank a very sour drink, even though I was sitting very close to the stationery. The hostess was also very slow to escort guests, as if she was not enthusiastic. As for the food, everything was good, but not special. The plus point is they have special promotions on certain days. This was our first time coming here because it went viral on TikTok. And decided not to return to this place again because of the bad service. Hopefully in the future they can improve their service.

GREAT FOOD I had the best service experience here, that I never had anywhere else (I travel a lot) It’s the time of the month and I sat down and putting pressure on my lower abdomen (IYKYK) then a woman staff came up to me asked if I want warm water. I was surprised as I didn’t say anything to anyone, she then gave me warm water and asked if I want a pillow to help put pressure on my belly. She’s such an angel. I never had that kind of treatment on any establishment and to think I didn’t even say a word. She’s just so attentive and genuinely caring. She’s my favourite 🥹 I’m shy to ask her name but I took a photo of her. Whoever you are, If you read this, just know it means so much to me what you did ❤️❤️ ❤️ And ofcourse, the rest of the staff are all great as well. Always smiling and attentive, ready to help in any way they can. Oh! And also their food is great and the ambience. There is outside seating and indoor. 10/10 recommended

I just picked up my custom Pyzel board, which I ordered about two months ago from Drifter Surf Shop in Germany via their website. I have to say that I would actually give more than five stars for everything, but unfortunately that's not possible :/ From the ordering process, to discussing the desired details such as dimensions, design, etc., to the final pickup on site, I was always perfectly looked after and advised! Right at the beginning, Kopral was assigned to me as my contact person and everything really went smoothly. So, a clear recommendation if anyone is considering a custom board from Bali! The only bad part is that everywhere outside is a smoking area so if you're not a smoker it's unhealthy and you're forced to go sit inside or maybe you just don't feel like inhaling someone else's smoke before you even had breakfast. The menu is super varied with vegan options available. We had The Smash and pancakes and they were delicious and filling! Service is lovely too. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Wouldn't hurt to have knives that actually do the cutting. It was just sourdough bread but it took ages to cut.

Drinks and smoothies are amazing and yes maybe food could be better but I feel like Drifters is not trying to impress. First time my husband and I tried this Java Dancer restaurant in Malang. Their location is in the central of Malang city. We ordered 2 ice lychee tea, 1 pisang bakar & omelette. Because we're not so hungry yet, we decided just to order those 2 "light" meal. I'm sorry guys, but we're very disappointed. Especially for the omelette . My husband needed to wait for his omelette for 20 minutes! And when it arrived , the sausages is not even warm , and the omelette itselves not even cooked "done" How hard and difficult it is just to make an omelette ? And who does 20 minutes for an omelette? When the omelette arrived it's also not a decent cooked . To just ordered 2 light small meals and 2 ice tea . Cost us 165.000 rupiah? Common.. is that even logic ? Sorry guys, we won't come back. We're fine to pay a bit more . But if a customer needed to wait for 20 minutes only for omelette , and when the omelette arrived also not cooked properly, definitely were not coming back and won't recommend this restaurant to our family and friends.

I’ve visited this Java Dancer branch several times because it’s conveniently located near my workplace. The place is nice, but personally, I prefer the older branch near Hotel Tugu. Even though it’s smaller, it has a cozy and warm atmosphere that feels more authentic. It’s also quite popular among foreign tourists, which gives it an international vibe. Still, both locations offer good coffee and a nice variety of food. The service is generally friendly and the ambiance is comfortable for casual meetings or quick breaks. However, one downside is that many people smoke here, which can be uncomfortable for non-smokers like me. It would be great if there were a clear non-smoking area.

A coffee roastery in Malang. Honestly the coffee is quite outdated but still tastes good. The food is okay but not that special. Parking is spacious for scooters and cars.

Picture worthy setup but all other patrons were smoking which made it slightly less enjoyable Food selection seems nice but did not try Came for the coffee. Espresso based drink - no option of coffee bean choice. Flat white was a bit too milky but taste was decent. Took a yama immersion brewed toraja. It was okay but nothing to shout about. Desserts were good Okay for those in the area. Personally i wouldnt go out of my way for the coffee. Staff were great

Incredible really. -coffee was not great tbh. -creme brulé was incorrect. too cold, not enough sugar, and not melted properly, NO CRACK! totally disappointing crème brulé. it's an international dish, there is no local version of crème brulé and therefore this was just wrong and bad. -oxtail soup was average at best, rice tasted weird (how do you mess up rice?), etc. many mosquitos also. unfortunately I will not be returning here, sorry.

This was probably one of the quickest service we have had! We had coffee, a smoothie and scrambled eggs. The sourdough was amazing and I usually don’t like cooked tomatoes but these ones were something else… so I had to snatch it back from hubby 😂 the salted caramel iced coffee was delicious. We’d seen so many rave reviews and recommendations for Coffee Cartel, we had to try it ourselves — and it did not disappoint! We ordered a Banana Boss, Cleanse Juice, Poke Bowl, and the 12hr Smoked Brisket Burger. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Definitely worth the hype!

I am in Bali for my 54th visit, along with my wife. We always stay in quiet places around Seminyak. For breakfast, the Coffee Cartel Cafe is as good as it gets in Bali. The Cafe has a nice atmosphere with well trained a courteous staff; of course. The food is delightfully prepared, delicious and fresh. My smashed avo with a poached egg was brilliant. And at Rp 90,000 or A$9.00 it it incredibly cheap. As for the coffee, well I reckon its outstanding. Very high quality. Not much more to add other than this is a very, very good place. Highly recommended.

Although this cafe is located in a busy street, and just across Seminyak Village, once you enter Titik Temu, you'll feel less hectic due to its lush green scenery. All the team - server and baristas - are fluent in English. Service is quick and very friendly. Ordered Orange Espresso, but it's a bit below my liking. The coffee tastes quite bland - neither flavor felt strong. Not the coffee, not the orange either. However, I will still come back to taste their other regular coffee and snacks.

I had breakfast at Sisterfields and came here for coffee. But honestly this place is so much better than Sisterfields and price is much more reasonable. Food at Sisterfields was good and so was the service, but it seems like a place to see and to be seen. Full of pretentious people paying premiums for the scene. The Flat White was smooth and creamy, strong enough to make my morning feel alive. The Sumbawa French Toast was soft and fluffy, with vanilla ice cream on top that melted nicely and gave extra sweetness, like sweet explosion in my mouth! Perfect choice to start my Saturday.

Carpentier Kitchen in Surabaya is one of those spots that just nails the cozy, laid-back vibe. It’s tucked away within a residential estate alongside a few other cafes, giving it a bit of a hidden gem feel. The menu has a nice mix of options (the burgers looked pretty good!) - we just went for coffee (latte and cold brew), fried calamari, and chocolate cake. Fried calamari with the tartar sauce was pretty solid - the batter was nicely seasoned, and the sauce was very flavourful, with bits of onions and other unknown secret ingredients within. Chocolate cake was decent, I would have preferred a more moist version, and the cold brew interestingly came with lemon - made for an interesting taste, although it was a bit too bitter for my liking. The decor feels homey, with a touch of vintage charm that makes you want to settle in for a while. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy a good meal, and even browse around their little boutique section if you're in the mood to shop.

An excellent, little cafe offering a variety of beans, a small pastry and sandwich selection, and personable, friendly baristas. When we went they had a single origin Ethiopian, two Indonesian single origins, and a few blends. Both the Indonesian pour overs were good, though we preferred the Sumatra. Seating area is small but fitting for the kind of cafe it is. They do sell beans, pour over single brew packets, and a variety of other items.

Super perferct TIRAMISU CAPPUCINO!!!! In my first sip, it tasted gorgeously tasty! Cannot imagine it blended perfectly, sweetness bitter of coffe, perfecto!!!!!! I love their plain croissants too, very buttery, and rich in taste. Will be back again for that TIRAMISU CAPPUCINO!!!!!

Finally made it to Expat Roasters and it was not merely disappointing but some of the worst coffee we’ve had on the island. Photo: Long Black and a oatmilk Cortado. Two sips of the long black to confirm that yup tastes like rust water, smells like burnt coffee oil, no body or mid-palate whatsoever. Left it on the table. The cortado at least masked by the oatmilk made the cuppa somewhat bearable but my wife couldn’t finish it because it was just so bad. When we paid, i was asked how was our coffee and I said very clearly that it was “not good” and the guy proceeded to ring me up with a smile — ok then. I’m pretty sure a senior staff sitting behind the cashier heard me, looked at me a bit side-eyed, and also did not say anything as we left. Expat has the branding down with neat packaging and all but they forgot how to pull a decent shot or hear their customers. Much better coffee almost anywhere on the island and cheaper too. For coffee nerds: no comment on the beans since I didn’t see them but definitely the darker side of dark roast. Shots poorly extracted, definite channeling.

So bad!!! I had to wait and wait and wait to order nobody came and had to shout so they could hear me. Cappuccino is asked very hot and came cold twice! Burger what is had ordered tasted good but the wooden plate where they brought the burger with had holes and there were ants in the holes (see video). I am used to eating streef food but you don’t want this in a restaurant like this.

Its a cozy place to hang out with friends or relatives. The place is bigger than it seems from the front, it can accommodate around 60-80 people. There is some outdoor area at the back, with floral canopy to avoid direct sunlight, although if its raining i dont think its usable. I went there at December, so the decoration is Christmas-sy. The cafe itself is a good spot for taking pictures. And the foods is instagram-able. It offers western food, such as pasta and pizza with a variety of choices. Lot of the drinks are non-alcoholic cocktails, its colorful and pretty. The taste is fair for its prices, which you can check on their website.

Honestly i expected a bit more from an ice cream joint that operated since 1930. The ice cream taste itself wasnt very exciting, tbh for me is just very normal. It also melts very fast, even though their servers served it as soon as possible already. This can mean that the fat content isnt high. The restaurant has limited air conditioned sitting area. If u sit outside, its gonna be really hot and warm, being by the busy road isnt helping the experience. We tried the cookies and cream, chocolate and mocha choco chips ice cream. One of specialty coffee shop that I frequently visited when came to Malang. Vibes was like home, cozy and peaceful. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They provided some electric plugs and smooth WiFi. It was a comfortable place for working and hangout while sipping decent coffee. I assumed coffee beans were dark roasted, because the cappuccino was quite strong. Hojicha latte was creamy, too sweet and less bitter for me. They also served regular single origin coffee beans choice for manual brew. I'd tried a few, but still couldn't find my cup of coffee.

I had lunch at the restaurant located inside LaiLai Fresh Market and ordered five items in total: an iced green Thai tea, mineral water, beef black pepper rice, “brococol” (broccoli with dipping sauce), and chicken gizzard and liver rice. The drinks took around ten minutes to arrive, which felt a bit long — I even had time to walk around the market and buy some snacks. However, considering it was quite crowded during the lunch rush (around 2 PM), the wait was somewhat understandable. The first dish to arrive was the beef black pepper rice, which was served hot and flavorful — the seasoning was rich and well-balanced. About fifteen minutes later, the “brococol” was served. Unfortunately, we had to wait for more than another thirty minutes for the last dish, and it never came. After we finally asked about it, the waiter informed us that the chicken gizzard and liver rice was actually unavailable. It was disappointing to receive this information only after we had waited for so long and had to ask ourselves. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service could be improved, especially in terms of communication and timing. Promptly informing customers about unavailable menu items would make the dining experience much smoother.

Since its located inside a supermarket, I won't recommend you to spend too long at the table because the place is kind of hectic - sometimes it needs you to stand in the waiting lists.

This cafe is located at the same area with Lai - Lai Market Place. It provides parking lots at its front and side of the cafe. When the parking lot is full, the parking attendant will guide you to park across the street. Mostly, they offer small bites and diverse beverages options. Recently, they add more menus, such as rice and spaghetti dish. The price offered is reasonable and the taste of the menu is great. This place never fails to impress me although it is small and always full on the weekend. I think, it's better for you to make a reservation first.

My top tier place to go in Malang during my college life (and everytime I come visit Malang). Located in the center of the city and inside Lai Lai, it’s super accessible to get to this place. The parking area is limited but the parking man will help you to park your car. Most of the foods and beverages in the menu suits my tastebud really well. It provides various baked rice and baked pasta as their top main food, various side dishes, various coffee and non coffee. It’s quiet crowd so sometimes you should be on waiting list to eat here. My top menu are (baked) Nasi/Pasta Japanese Chicken Curry, and (baked) Cheese Bayam. The staffs are friendly and nice. For me who is not living in Malang; I always longing for this place and foods.

Historica Garden has a wide space divided into a restaurant, caffe , and a bar. The place is well designed (I particularly like the toilet 🤭) big and stylish. They have band music I don’t which days but you can be lucky when you visit. If you like 🍺 this is also the place. Good staff. Definitely recommended ✅

Here is my experience here. The waitress gave me the menu, i was waiting for another friends, so she said to call her when i'm ready. Look at the menu and tried to order, call her, she didn't response. I approached the bar to order, and mentioned my orders. But she asked me to go back to my seat cause she's still going to bring some food to other table. I had to pee, but I had to wait just to repeat my order. Oh and after I order, i tried to took picture from slr camera and they approached me and informed us that they require you to buy Rp 750k for taking pictures using SLR camera. This whole place and only 1 server taking order and delivering food while the male server only come to tell us not to take photos, pizza came but no plate no fork, we had to ask for them and the servers weren't smiling either....I think with the price you guys should afford better service. There are better and friendlier cafes. Update: finally some other servers came. I don't where they were but suddenly there are 4 or 5 more. I came @2pm and the servers spurges after 3. Upon passing I was greeted nicely by Haki, he explained clearly for every signature menu as well as introduced us to all his team. Farrell was very knowledgeable and Reno was super friendly! Both of them made us their signature drinks outside what's on the menu and it tasted divine! They asked how was my experience in the hotel and what could be improved. There are definitely things the hotel could improve but overall I had a good experience. The price of the menu is average but you will get superior service from the barista! Tips: Ask for “Over the Edge” and thank me later!

Cozy and comfortable place to hangout with your loved one especially if you have pets. You can bring them in the outdoor area. The dining area was quite spacious (but be careful of caterpillars as they surrounded by big trees). The ice cream as good as usual and the staff was really friendly too. I like the place. The staffs are friendly and nice. It's kinda small at the corner, shadowed by the large of Steak Boncafe building. But it is interesting that such small place could offer much. It serves coffee, ice cream, sandwiches and croissants, playground at the back, small koi pond and comfortable chairs inside and outside. They also have heavy meal in the menu which i think it come from Boncafe Steak. People can seat outside to feel the night breeze or just smoking. Inside, the chill is nice for escaping the heat of the city. We have macchiato, ice cappuccino and rum raisin ice cream which are very satisfying.

First impression about this eat place was so cozy and homie. This is not too really formal place to hang out with your friends, family or with your lover. This place was also nice for dinner tho. The design interior was classic elegant and so many spots that you could choose to take a picture. And for the taste of the food is quite good and tasty but the meal's portion for me is to little and the price is lil bit high-end. But for all is good.

Delicious food, good portion, quite expensive but still affordable, i love the place. I tried their locco moco (59k), fried seafood tofu (35k), and naughty peach (75k) for the drink. Really satisfied with the service. They have 3floors, you can go to 3rd floor after 17.00, and they will light on the lamp. Romantic 🥰🥰🥰.

Another recommended resto in Malang. The resto is not big. Cozy enough for friends and family to hang out for coffee or big meals. We ordered Asian chicken curry, calamari rice, fish n fries. Delicious 👍🏽 The mashed potato was savory and the consistency is just right. Not too soft. The food presentation is also very nice. The lime drink is served in a large jug, unlike some resto we visited before. Very generous portion, not too much ice cubes. The interior is vintage. There is a collection of motorcycles in front of the main entrance. It’s nice to see if you’re into bikers. But, I think it took up too much space. The outdoor area has only 2 sets of tables. We chose outdoor because the non-smoking area is not available. It was our first time and we got a pouch of signature coffee powder for free because we spent more than 250k. Thank you, Vosco Coffee!

Place to chill or gather around with your friends. There is smoking and non smoking area. Food and drink presentation are nicely done, taste also standard. Very pricey in my opinion, if you have tight budget then i suggest you find another place. Payment can be done is cash / card.

Just had a quick meeting at this place on a hot Surabaya day. The place was simple and had minimalist design. The big windows and quite high ceilings made the place feel more spacious and bright. The well-air-conditioned room made the customers feel comfortable to work or have meetings at this place. I ordered a glass of iced mango lemonade. It was so refreshing and the sparkling soda really hit the spot. It's a good choice for people to get together or solo work in the Sawahan area!

Stopped by this cafe while waiting for my train, and it turned out to be a great spot to kill some time. Amazing coffees, comfy cafe and delicious foods. Still a favorite cafe around tidar area since 2016. With their comfy place, big area, delicious snacks and foods, and most importantly, fresh coffees, i have come back for more and more.

it’s a neat place. it’s very aesthetic and ofc it’s instagramable. the place is a bit hidden from the front because their entry point is from the side, behind the cafe, there’s a mini garden, it’s considered as outdoor area. but one thing.. it’s pretty expensive. even though the coffee was surprisingly great! it’s worth it if you don’t drink coffee everyday (i mean they’re expensive almost like sb*x)

The portions were generous, and the Pastel Tutup was good, served hot. There are electrical outlets, so people can work using their laptops here. Might feel a bit uncomfortable when it's crowded. The staff provides friendly service and responds quickly when you need anything.

Dear Team Monopole, I’d like to report my recent experience here. I’m quite surprised that your service is downgrading compared to the last time I went here. I visited your place to get a cold latte and have little rest with a quick smoke break with a friend. It was 9 PM which I still had 30 minutes to chill before I left. However, your server seemed so pissed with me and my friend’s presence. The server in charge named Safitri, had some attitude to fix. I appreciated her little initiative to turn on the fan and put the ashtray on our table. We thanked her for doing that, but she didnt seem to care. Next, she served our drink and I thanked her again to show respect. I said it once, and she didnt answer, so I repeated myself in order she didnt hear my voice. Then, she replied it ominously “ya!” with her bitchy attitude. I didnt know what was going on to her but I hope your management didnt do her wrong that might cause her behave that way to customer. That might be the last time I would go to your place. But, hopefully the team can work on it for good. Thanks

I think Labore coffee & eatery was top, unique and iconic cafe that you must try if you were in malang. They serve delicious food & drink that you might like. A high-end restaurant with affordable prices. Definitely a place you have to visit. The food is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the service will not let you down. If you love to take good pictures, you have to bring your camera here and take the best shots you won't regret. Oh they have some cute Teddy Bears that you can take pictures with.

Demandailing (Klampis) was one of my favorite café in my uni days. A couple weeks ago, I went to Demandailing Merr and it was great. I thought the one at Klampis would be as great as well but I was wrong. The atmosphere was kinda gloomy. The crews were fine at first. I ordered their Mille Crepes and Chicken Roulades. I just saw their newest post on instagram about their Anniversary Promo, the lucky wheel fortune for min 150k before tax. I wasn’t informed for this when I ordered and paid my order and when it arrived, I ask the crew if I could do another purchase and join the offer she said I couldn’t because it was really paid. Another disappointment came after more than 15 minutes of waiting, the chocolate lava on the mille crepes looked and tasted like paste and the roulades were not warm enough. It’s such a pity that this happened because the one at Merr was great on most of the aspects tho, great food, great hospitality from the crews/baristas but not at Klampis

Awesome place to eat or hang out, It has a nice ambience and service was great and quick. There are a few food menu and some desserts also a variety of drinks mainly frappes and coffee (Similar to starbucks style of drink menu). The food was delicious and the drinks are great, it is worth it of your money as the food and price is fair. Overall i recommend this place for everyone to come and have a drink or food here.

signature's coffee is great, and really great atmosphere, cozy and clean. there are power outlets for each table, making this cafe very suitable for work or writing. Pasta is good and delicious. sadly, not much meal variety to choose from, no rice dishes. A bit pricey for drinks and pasta, but worth it considering the venue vibes and atmosphere

Super cozy place. I spend hours working and very comfortable here. Price wise is really worth it. Ordered the green tea latte only for 45k but taste super great. And nuttella croisant only for 35k. Really cheap compared to the strategic place with a great ambience. The staff also super kind and helpfull. Definitely will come back 😁

Modern place with nice furnishing. Most importantly drinks were of really good quality. The pasta was awesome. Real western pasta and not Indonesian mixed pasta. Wish they sell more selection of food. Would definitely come back again.

The location is good, the decoration is also not bad, both indoors and outdoors, the service is okay, the price is also average, not expensive and not cheap either. Wifi, parking lots, AC, toilets are all provided. There were least of dessert selection here, however they sell coffee beans.

The cafe is on the second floor and you can get into the cafe by climbing the stairs on the side of the building. The selection of the food is quite large. I came at the afternoon and it was quiet and homey.

Just around the corner, I didn't expect could find a place with a good coffee taste. The ambience is also pretty awesome in the middle of a hectic and hot day outside. You are welcomed with the tropics ambience of several houseplants here. And it's up to you to pick one of a good side to enjoy your day. The services are great too. Prices are not really expensive. One of the first pioneer of Homey Cafe concept in Surabaya. It's been a while since our last visit but they have maintained their quality of food and beverages. Definitely must try their Creme Brule Coffee!! As a bonus, there are books, toys, and activities for kids!!

Light and airy, modern minimalist style. Coffee is good, latte art always on point. Renovations downstairs at the moment so really took away from the vibe. Also, ordered Parmesan fries which was forgotten the first time, and then came out home style (which we like) but sadly drenched in oil. Huge plus, they have Monocle magazines here. Overall a chill place to hang out and good coffee and easy parking.

Went there in the afternoon. We were mostly looking for a place we could chat in for hours and this was a rlly nice place to go. Defo one of the most photogenic and instragammable(?) cafes in surabaya I’ve been to. Decoration was cute af, even the stairs to the entrance was cute. The place seems to have a room for a small meeting too, away from the other patrons. Gave it three because the food wasn’t the best we’ve had. My friend got their tuna aglio olio and it wasn’t anything special. We got the chocolate mousse and red velvet cheesecake and they were disappointing to us (someone told me that the oreo’s good though!). And i’ve had better cappuccinos too :(

Variety of menu is great and it’s a great place to hang out in / work from. However during hot days, it can get pretty hot inside the cafe. The AC could definitely be improved imo. But other than that, i loved it here! (also you can can bring your dog!)

interior and building itself looks good! their vibe is old rustic. staff was friendly and helpful. the menus are incredibly large and have tons of different things, so it can be overwhelming in the beginning. food was pretty good. prices were pretty expensive, in my opinion. we ordered lots of things, such as Steak Frites, Chicken Marinara, Pork bowl, 2 pitcher drinks, Jewels, Acai, and ramen. names of the foods were pretty tricky as they're a lot and kind of hard to remember.

Nice ambience, but the food tasted too mediocre to justify their prices. Ordered the dragon fruit smoothie bowl, chicken noodles, and chocolate cheesecake. The smoothie bowl was fresh and came generously topped with granola and fresh fruits; great for sharing or even a light meal. The noodles were quite bland, but the portion was pretty substantial. The chocolate cheesecake was just the right level of sweetness, but was nothing special. Come here for a nice space to hang out in a quiet neighbourhood, but don’t expect outstanding food.

I had such high hopes for this place! It is adorable and cozy. It even has a fake fire and Christmas decorations. They even have 1 high chair. The drinks were good and so was my bao wow slider. But they really overcooked the fries and fried chicken and they never asked if we wanted refills. I suggest just going there for drinks and a smoothie.

The oldest Excelso outlet. Have been here many times. It has just been renovated for a new and refreshing atmosphere. But they still separate smoking section with no divider, so the smell is still everywhere. Various choices of beverages beside coffee, and good light meals or snacks. The place, here in Plaza Surabaya branch in particular is nice and have a good ambience. love it. the chair are really cozy, but somehow I feel the chair are to big compared to the table. but, it is okay anyway. they have WiFi, non smoking area, and some electrical socket. The prices is practically quite costly, but they serve you with best quality of coffee, food, place, and services. so, it is fine. overall, I would recommend this place for hanging out or if you want to grab some nice cup of coffees.
