Absolutely loved this Japanese rooftop restaurant I visited yesterday! The prices were very reasonable, and the view overlooking the ocean was perfect for watching the surfers ride the waves. My cocktail arrived with a dramatic dry ice effect, such a cool touch! The waiter was so lovely and attentive, even brought me extra wasabi without hesitation. Great vibes, great service, and a stunning setting. Highly recommend if you're in the area! 🌊🍣🍸

Set in a breathtaking 1930s Javanese teakwood villa, originally part of a 1706 Chinese temple, the space is filled with Asian antiques, art, and soul. It’s elegant, unique, and full of history – one of the most atmospheric places in Bali. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views over the Indian Ocean – perfect for sunset or watching the surf lineup during the day. The food is Japanese fusion at its finest – fresh sushi, creative small plates, and bold, balanced flavors. Every dish is beautifully presented and deeply satisfying. And the cocktails are outstanding – especially the Kublai, a bold and earthy mix of tequila, whiskey, tamarind, turmeric, and ginger honey. It’s a sophisticated tropical drink with a clear nod to Jamu, Bali’s traditional herbal elixir – rich, vibrant, and unforgettable. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Hambe is a great Japanese restaurant on the nusa dua beach. They offer all sorts of amazing sushi and starters, all of which are worth a try. They also have a teppanyaki menu where you can enjoy an immersive dining experience. Also, staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

We chose to dine at Hamabe in Nusa Dua and we were delighted! The welcome and service from Mr. Surya and Ms. Deri were excellent: warm, attentive, funny, and very professional. The dishes were delicious and we truly enjoyed tasting them. Admittedly, the prices are a bit high, but the experience is definitely worth it. The only downside: the location on Google Maps is incorrect, which can make it tricky to find. A big thank you for this wonderful meal! Enjoy !

It’s a beautiful Japanese restaurant at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua that serves all things Japanese, from sashimi to izakaya style dishes, tempura to teppanyaki and there is also a sukiyaki section on the opposite side of the hallway. We think the food quality is great and it is an experience to dine at Hamabe. The highlight was the banana flambé 👍🏼

Hamabe Japanese resto is one of the best authentic selection. Inside the grand classic wooden style hotel Westin in Nusa Dua area. There is a big International Convention Hall. Beef, sushi, tuna, all are super. Very recommended. Super friendly and long time staff, so they know what's good selection for the first timer guests.

Shima Teppanyaki was one of the most memorable dining experiences we had in Bali. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming, with the open teppanyaki stations giving us a front row seat to all the action. The chefs were skilled and entertaining, putting on a show while preparing each dish right in front of us. It was equal parts dinner and performance, and it made the entire evening feel exciting and special. The food itself was excellent. Every course was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, from the meats and seafood to the vegetables and rice. You could tell that real attention went into the preparation, and the quality was consistent throughout. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and each dish complemented the next. Watching everything come together right in front of us made it taste even better, because you could see the care and precision that went into every detail. What made the night truly unforgettable, though, was how personal the staff made it for us. Since we were celebrating our honeymoon, they surprised us with a cake that said Happy Honeymoon and even gathered around to sing. It was such a thoughtful touch that left us smiling long after we left. That kind of gesture, combined with the warm and attentive service all evening, made us feel genuinely celebrated and cared for. Shima Teppanyaki delivers on every level. An excellent recommendation by our hotel in Bali. Shima ticked all the boxes. The food, atmosphere and staff were excellent. Ray, the Australian owner, introduced himself. He is a true old school gentleman. He explained that the ingredients sourced were of the highest quality and I believed him. The proof was in the eating and it didn’t disappoint. The wagyu beef was superb. We were at another highly rated Teppanyaki restaurant in Seminyak a couple of nights ago so it was easy to compare. There is no comparison. Shima is superior in all aspects of a dining experience. Prices between the two places were very similar. Our Teppanyaki chef, Bram was part chef, part entertainer. Witty and funny, Bram made our dinner very enjoyable. There’s no hesitation in recommending Shima if you’re in the mood for an authentic Teppanyaki meal.

We seriously had so much fun dining in this place. Food was excellent and the service was tip top too. The teppan chef was really entertaining and full of skills. Very hygienic too. The toilet was clean. Strongly recommended for tourist but remember it's not cheap

Brilliant place to eat. Our chef Daddy was excellent and kept us thoroughly well fed and entertained. Hard to find teppanyaki this good and fun in Sydney. Great for families at the earlier time slots. Great for groups too. A restaurant like this can never be the cheapest but the quality ingredients speak for themselves. The owner Ray was a very welcoming Aussie and we had a great time.

Really had a great time last night. The food was very good, the chef doubled up as a performer and kept everyone entertained with his skills. The steak was perfectly done and the seafood was fresh. Amazing. Really good. What a beautiful interior. Bali has such gems!! I’m always excited when an owner greets you and hands a business card. It means they are thoroughly engaged in their enterprise. So the service was impeccable. The shabu was great with excellent quality meat. The only suggestion I would have is to add a small dish of super spicy brown/red sauce with chilies and chopped garlic like they typically have at Thai Shabu’s 😁. Next time we will try the teppanyaki ☺️👍🙏

Love this place! Not too crowded, not too noisy, all was just perfect. Their foods were all amazing, came on Tuesday and got special price for their delicious Tacos! I LOVE ALL OF THEM! I recently visited Ling Ling’s Bali and loved the vibrant atmosphere and friendly, attentive service, they really make you feel welcome. While the vibe was outstanding, the food itself was just okay. It’s a great spot for drinks and ambiance, but the dishes could use a bit more punch to match the energy of the place.

We visited this beautiful restaurant after having lunch at the Four Seasons, looking forward to enjoying desserts and coffee. The initial welcome was impeccable—friendly and attentive—and the service while ordering and dining was top-notch. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food and drinks were excellent. However, our experience was slightly dampened by inconsistent service at the end. Despite spending over Rp 250,000 per person, (total bill was rupiah 534000) we noticed that other tourists were given complimentary sorbet with their bill, while we were not. When we inquired, this staff member, who appeared noticeably unfriendly throughout our visit, stated it was because we didn’t order a main course. This felt unfair, especially considering we had still spent a reasonable amount and were there for desserts and drinks and coffee only. We are not complaining about price at all so please Don’t get us wrong. Another kind staff (the hostess I think)member overheard and kindly offered the sorbet, but we were already on our way out. It’s not about the sorbet—it’s about feeling like all guests are treated equally, regardless of appearance or perceived nationality. Most of the staff were fantastic, but the behavior of this one individual left a sour note in what would have otherwise been a perfect experience. We hope the management takes note and ensures more consistent and inclusive service for everyone.

We've been to Sayan House multiple times, drawn by their wonderful vegan options and the chance to catch up with friends who live on this side of the island. However, the food quality has always been a bit hit or miss for me. Last night, I decided to give it another chance and tried their tacos solo. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The tacos felt like something you'd find at a fast-food chain like Green Burrito in Los Angeles, lacking the quality and care that I'd expect from a restaurant. Even with my straightforward palate and no alcohol to dull my senses, the food just didn't impress. The complimentary potato salad chip dip was also a surprise – it's not a dish I'm familiar with in Mexican or Japanese cuisine, and it felt like a fast-food staple rather than a thoughtful addition to the meal. On the positive side, our waitress was kind and attentive, even replacing my tacos with fresher ones on a warmer plate. The view, as always, was beautiful under the night sky. Despite the complimentary sorbet at the end, which was a nice touch, I wouldn't recommend Sayan House based on my recent experience. It feels like the quality has slipped, and I'd suggest exploring other options on the island. Even as you read the replies to their negative reviews, it seems like it’s lost heart or passion.

The Sayan House is a very good restaurant with a unique setting. During the day the view is stunning and adds so much to the experience, but at night you can barely see it, so daytime is definitely the better choice. The sushi rolls were excellent, fresh and flavorful. The tacos were average and didn’t impress as much. The house wine was great, and the service was just as good. Our waiter was attentive and his recommendations were perfect. The highlight of the meal was the house cheesecake dessert, which was simply amazing and worth coming back for. Overall, The Sayan House is worth visiting for the atmosphere, friendly service, and standout dishes, especially if you can come during daylight hours to enjoy the view.

We came here for sunset drinks and found some walk-in seats at their ‘Sunset bar’. Really stunning views, and wide range of cocktails and non alcoholic beverages. The staff were proactive in offering to move us to ‘front row’ seats for the best views as well. We decided to stay for dinner. The main terrace with the views was booked out, but there was additional sitting area in the garden that had walk-in space. The food was really delicious, a modern twist on Japanese and Latin American food! Quite pricey for Bali standards but a really great experience.

We had an amazing dinner at The Sayan House in Ubud! The setting is absolutely stunning, overlooking the lush valley — it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit back, relax, and take it all in. We ordered the salmon, tacos, and shrimp fried rice, and everything was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the tacos had a great mix of textures and spices, and the shrimp fried rice was comforting yet refined — such a tasty combination. We went there for lunch expecting great food, unfortunately is was very average. There was nothing special about it and it was quite overpriced. In saying that, the view upon entry was amazing and worth going there for a cocktail and taking in the beauty. Additionally the service was great.

Delicious food and top-notch service is a winning combination. While the à la carte could be more extensive, but the set menu option is worth to try. Especially the one one the weekend I’ve visited both for lunch and dinner and the place is always bustling. So reservations is are highly recommended to ensure you get the table.

Had the 6 course omakase when I was staying here. While the food itself was hit and miss (maybe 1 of the 6 course was decent). I was left with food poisoning the following day which took away from my stay in the resort (currently still recovering from) Based on deduction , this was the last restaurant I dined in before I fell ill and is highly likely to be the reason. I would take a guess that it was the oyster course. I have never had food poisoning from a hotel restaurant previously likely due to a higher standard of quality control and high turnover. On the upside, staff in the restaurant were attentive similar to the rest of the resort. This was my experience, am sure other patrons had better.

Had a good experience trying all you can eat here! It’s IDR 580.000++ for weekend, they serve appetizer, main course and dessert. You can get access to the main pool as well. Worth the money ❤️

Toro special roll was the favourite Salmon crispy roll was close second Flying dragon roll also delicious Spicy salmon was good but not sure about salsa topping, didn’t think it blended well. The atmosphere on the second floor is lovely, with charming decorations and a welcoming feeling that's not too crowded. The staff are incredibly friendly, which adds to the experience. As for the sushi, I would rate it a solid 7/10. It's a nice place overall!

Food was very good. Really good quality, specially the sushi: it was amazing! I ordered the red dragon roll and the salmon Philadelphia roll and was very happy with my order. Must visit in Ubud! We tried Toro Sushi as we were tired of all the western and Indo food. This Japanese food doesn’t fail. The taste is superb, we never regret stepping in.

Having been away from Japan for a while, I really appreciated the authentic, flavorful dishes. Next time, I’m planning to try the teppanyaki. Being part of a well-known resort, this place is a safe bet—you can’t go wrong here.

Fantastic teppanyaki - the cook on everything was just right. Medium rare steak was actually served medium rare with a good sear. Squid was very soft and tender, cooked just the right amount. Sauces were excellent too. Also received some fantastic, friendly and attentive service from both Wikan and Wantari.

Had a great dinner sitting by the pool. Live music playing in the background was a nice touch. Sudid was so helpful organising our booking, explaining things and looking after us during the night. Our Chef Dika was fabulous. Cooked the food to perfection. We were extremely full by the end.

We booked as we had heard great things about this teppanyaki. We weren't disappointed. The service was awesome. The experience of being interactive with your chef was great and they catered for our food allergies. It isn't cheap, but you are paying for great food and the experience.

the foods that i ordered were great! had a full heart and belly just for the unagi and oyster butter. they’re a must! ambience is very old style japanese which i love, great service from the waitress added up the final score to 5 stars in my opinion. One of the authentic Japanese resto in Bali. Came here during brunch time, not too crowded and the ambiance of the restaurant so Japanese Street food style. Tonkatsu Ramen taste rich, creamy, so delicious. Ebi furai maki roll also good and light. Tako okonomiyaki taste good but some part is still wet, I don’t know is that because of the OG okonomiyaki suppose to be like that or what. You can taste a lil bit fishy from the wet part compare with the fully cooked/dry part. Also try the dimsum, the texture is too mushy. We thought its not fully cooked but after they change with the new one with longer steam process the texture still same. So i guess thats already cooked and I dont like the texture. The matcha ice with ogura was good, the syrup a bit too much for my preference. Staff was very helpfull, always smile and this place is not too noisy if you want to have long chat with your friend

Some of the best Japanese we have ever had! The service was amazing, our waitresses were so lovely and attentive. The food was incredible and presented so well, we were so impressed and the price is insanely good for what you get. We had the dragon roll, sashimi platter, Spicy Tuna rolls and Teriyaki Tuna.This would have easily cost us over $150 in Australia. We will absolutely be back.

Wow this sushi is good, you have to try and no need to doubt it. We also ordered crunchy ebi tempura, and chicken katsu. We prefer chicken katsu because it’s so goood. We also try donburi, donburi is good. I recommend this restaurant if you looking for sushi !!!

Went here twice and food was amazing! Crazy big portions for cheap! Outdoor seating is really chill. The owner was kind enough to drive us back when we had been drinking. A little bit out the way of everything but don’t underestimate here! Also do not be afraid of getting raw fish, didn’t get sick once.

Peaceful place, but what we ordered was not great. Tom yum soup is ridiculous it has nothing to do with real recipe. Salad was bot good due to some sweet fruity dressing.

We had an amazing experience at Sushimi Seminyak 🍣 We tried the California sushi, garlic California, rock n roll, chicken crunch, chicken gyoza and the seared red salmon. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and really well presented. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in Seminyak and craving sushi.

food was so so good, i got the poke bowl and a sushi donut and my bf got the chicken katsu curry. we were served by the lovely dian who did a wonderful job.

Wow! What a great find! My boyfriend and I were just looking for somewhere to stop in and eat while we were in maniac and this place came up and I’m so glad that we stopped in. It is such a cute atmosphere. The sushi tastes delicious and fresh. the staff are very kind and well welcoming And overall they have a great variety. we can’t wait to come back on Fridays because every plate is only 20K what a deal.

Rujak (spicy fruit salad). 1st time trying this local fruit salad recommended by the waitress. The dressing sauce is not too spicy, very complex flavor. I like the sprinkled peanut btw. Fruit is also freshly cut so the texture is amazing. This is why I love Bali, they have all the best from nature: the fruit, greens and the spice, etc. Next time will order again

I went to this restaurant three times during my stay, right next to Noree Villa, and every single meal was absolutely incredible 🥹🥹 From the flavors of the dishes to the presentation, everything was perfect. The staff are genuinely kind, warm, and attentive, which makes the experience even more special. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making you feel right at home while enjoying amazing food. Honestly, without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Ubud. I can’t recommend it enough!

I dunno but when I'm feeling sick, ordering their chicken bakmie can sooth my nasal blocking. It's like medicine for me. Lol. I like them warm, slowly slurp the chewy noodle and tasty ayam kampung. After that, I will drink lots of warm water thorough the day. Now I take a snap on my favorite noodle when I'm feeling well. Their juicy pork ribs are the best:)

Unfortunately, my experience at Indigo was far from great. The sushi rolls were dry and lacked flavor, which was quite unexpected for a Japanese restaurant of this level. The only highlight of the meal was the sashimi — fresh and well-prepared. However, later that evening I ended up feeling unwell, which raises concerns about food safety. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but sadly, it was not the experience I had hoped for.

We have found our sushi spot in Bali. We LOVE sushi and have been looking for our go to for 2 months now. Indigo is it We came during lunch and each had the set 2 and were so impressed with the freshness, service and attention to detail. Shiori and her team were fantastic and we cant wait to come back!

My favorite sushi restaurant in Bali that I bring all my friends and family to. The black miso cod here is identical to the one at nobu and is the star of the show- must order! (iykyk). The spicy salmon and tuna were the best rolls in my opinion, I wasn’t crazy about the unagi roll although I typically love unagi. I think it was the leafy green it’s wrapped in that I wasn’t a fan of- just my personal preference. The miso soup also didn’t taste like standard miso soup (maybe could use more miso flavor), not bad but again not my personal preference. The flan for dessert was also delicious and not too sweet. Overall, everything is worth trying and I will say, the quality of the fish here is unmatched!

my family and i had one of the best time at indigo. a table of 11. the team has served us amazingly (effortlessly) from welcoming us at entrance to our food recommendations. wonderful experience. all of us had the salmon bento lunch set. freshness and flavor were beautifully made. Our feedback would be. Miso soup should come along with the bento set. Highlight of the meal would be their homemade mochi dessert. We love it! Thank you again team. We’ll definitely be back.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Bali! Every dish is consistently fresh and delicious, but my all-time favorite has to be their lunch set menu featuring the most flavorful salmon teriyaki😋 Although salmon teriyaki isn’t listed on the dinner menu, they’ve always been happy to serve it à la carte when I ask. Service is outstanding too — on several visits I’ve even received complimentary treats. Can’t wait to come back! 😊💕

My partner is gluten intolerant. The staff were so helpful! They asked to message them a day before with our order and they made everything gluten free and even checked the oil to make it separate for our tempura! Amazing service and wonderful staff. I’ve been a fan of Rayjin since my college day, probably more than 10 years ago. Back then, it was just a small teppan bar with very limited seating. My first visit was for a friend’s birthday, and I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. The chefs shouting enthusiastically to each other across the bar created such a lively yet intimate vibe. Combined with their warm hospitality, it always leaves a truly memorable impression every time I come back. The food is just as special as the experience. I highly recommend their Saikoro and Pork Tonkatsu. For starters, the Chawanmushi is a must-try, and the Noritacos are also worth it. They once had a raindrop-shaped jelly dessert that was as beautiful as it was unique, though I don’t think it’s on the menu anymore. And if you’re celebrating a birthday, they’ll treat you with a complimentary cake, which makes the occasion even more special 🥰 What I love most is their attention to detail. The personalized Japanese writing card they give is such a thoughtful and unique touch. It makes the whole experience feel personal and unforgettable. Whenever my friends come to visit, Rayjin is always on my list of recommendations. It never fails to impress.

Had an awesome time at Rayjin! The food was super fresh and flavorful, and the whole vibe was really fun and welcoming. Chef Aris was the star of the day! He’s not only incredibly skilled at the grill but also made the whole experience really enjoyable. We ordered the beef yakiniku, chicken nanban, tempura udon and salmon fried rice. The beef was cooked perfectly and tender, the chicken was delicious, and you could tell he puts a lot of heart into what he does. Definitely coming back for another round!

I liked my experience here. The staff are really cheerful and put an effort to entertain and serve the customers well. The food is a bit pricey for the quality of the food, but I think some items are worth the 5* rating (namely, the gindara and short rib). Service was pretty quick too!

An amazing atmosphere and experience. From our first arrival we were warmly greeted by Gustut and upon entry to the restaurant the entire staff loudly greeted us, which instantly puts a smile on your face and gives you pleasant welcome vibes. The atmosphere in this place was of extremely high standard. The food aside which was amazing, the lighting to the materials and colours used gave of an early western Japanese setting. Gustut was extremely attentive to us throughout our dining experience which made us feel very welcome. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting an amazing sushi experience in Bali.

One of our comfort food ! Come almost once a month. The service is great. The foods are so good, our favorites are Salmon Carpaccio, Chicken teriyaki rolls, spicy tuna rolls ! The ambience is just perfect for sipping their great cocktails - my favorite is the Plum Umeshu Soda. Love their complimentary Gomae too !

I appreciated the menu here. Lots of choices but still strictly Japanese food and slightly elevated offerings. Like the edamame wasn’t just served salted, it also had a soy and spices topping. The service was great and the sushi and entrees were good but my tuna belly nigiri wasn’t up to my standards and they could have offered more specialty rolls. They did have a happy hour where certain items were 50% off and that was pretty great. I didn’t take photos of our 2 rolls.

The quality of the food is very good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice. However, the service was disappointing. There appeared to be a lack of communication among the staff: although we ordered three dishes at the same time, the last dish—sushi—arrived almost 30 minutes after the first two. Additionally, we requested extra ginger on the side; while a staff member acknowledged the request, it was never brought to the table. Overall, while the food quality met expectations, the service experience needs significant improvement to match it.

We went for a weekday lunch at Kuu Izakaya Dining when it was quiet. Tried their Ramen Promotion (miso ramen, 2 gyoza, and iced tea for 85k++). The gyoza and tea were nice, and the portion of ramen was enough for lunch, though the thicker noodles weren’t quite to our taste. Staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the air conditioning was comfortable.

My friend had the okonomyaki here and was surprised it had CHEESE in it. Apparently management think it's a modern twist to the classic version. Be careful if you're allergic to dairy as there's no mention on the menu. Chef wasn't particularly happy when the issue was raised. All the other food we've had here is delicious. Service from the wait staff is great.

After craving vegan ramen the friendly service Suarni was so nice and gave me a solution with Green tea noodles and it was amazing! The trainee Cynthia was the sugar to my tea and sweetened the evening even more. A welcoming, compromising and tasty (!!!) restaurant. I'm looking forward to visit again. 🙏🏻

We had a pleasant dinner at Kyoka. The food was overall very nice. There are variaties of drinks. Staff were friendly and efficient. They did act very quickly helping each tables.

We had an excellent evening with a very delicious meal and very kind and friendly staff. The manager was so welcoming and fun to talk to, always checking if we're enjoying our meal or need anything. The waiters and bar men were very efficient and friendly even though the restaurant was overbooked and very busy. I strongly recommend this culinary address. For Muslim clients, it has many vegetarian and pescetarien options and you can even enjoy moctails (nonalcoholic cocktails). My advice is to make reservation if you want to get a table, we didn't and we found out on arrival that all tables are booked, they nonetheless proposed to serve us in the bar area, and honestly it was more confortable and pleasant than I thought it would be. Again very beautiful experience and excellent food and service. Thank you so much Kyoka!

An extremely pleasurable dining experience with fantastic cocktails. Had the tuna sashimi, was slightly skeptical when ordering. It came out on ice and was cold and fresh, tuna rolls were delicious and edamame was great to. Can not find a fault here. Thanks for a nice time!

We had the pork gyoza, chicken avo & cucumber sushi, and the pork ramen and it was all very delicious. Best ramen i’ve ever had, broth was amazing and full of many flavours. Definitely recommend and will be back!

If you know me then you will know on my travels I seek out relentlessly thr best Japanese restaurants, and ONLY review the winner for each location. Great start walking in to Saint Germaine playing, music sets a lounge scene. The menu boasts Japanese Gin, Whisky, Sake, and ofcourse the cocktails. Not eating here before, I went and over ordered, I regret nothing. It was all delicious!

The place is nice, the problem just mosquitoes at night because its garden. 😅 But staff so friendly and helpful when I was asking for mosquito repellent. Food was okay too! I like them 😊 Clean toilet, and quite unique with so many Japanese posters on the wall. I think it's cute.

Great place with a variety of Japanese food. All under one roof with one owner. Location is great for kid with the garden area and play area. The food we’ve ordered: Tayoyaki, Sushi Roll (Which I can bite that the sushi rice texture still half cooked) Vegetables Tempura, Izakaya Chicken … The quality is very normal versus the price which is on the high side and thats why I would give only 3 stars inconsideration of the staff friendliness. Overall, quality must prevail and something needs to be done in order for repeat customers.

This place really is worth a visit. It has a Japanese theme (obviously you would have gathered that from the name) and is a pleasant place to be. I went there with two friends, we found that the staff were efficient and also quite friendly. We were there mid afternoon so moved into the air conditioned area. The temperature in there was not set to freezing so it was an enjoyable place to sit

The place is big, and most of it are outdoor sitting in the garden setting. They have live music too. They offer a variety of Japanese food which is good. But compare to the food taste and quality that we get, it is over price. The service was quite slow as well. Either they should lower the price or create a better food taste if they want a repeat customers

I had a very pleasant dinner here. The foods are delicious and have a really nice portion. I got their butter rice, yakitori, and ramen and all of them are really good. Considering the price in Sanur, I would say I got more than what I gave. The desserts are lovely too. The place is spacious so you don’t hv to worry during covid, they hv indoor and outdoor space. Perfect for kids, and big gatherings. The staff are also quite helpful and pleasant. So overall, I had a really nice experience there. Go check them out if you are craving Japanese food in Bali.

Menu items looks decent and place looks well maintained. Chose to dine here as my husband loves his grilled skewers. Tempura udon was a little salty but delicious in flavour. Not sure what caused it but the eel had hard rubbery texture which is very unusual for eel, maybe over cooked or just the way eel is in Bali… not a dish I’d order again. Staff service is ok, nothing bad like other reviews. The restaurant does have the oily smell as mentioned in some reviews.

Surprisingly good. Unfortunately I wasn’t hungry and could not finish my huge portion of vegetable tempura which was absolutely amazing. The chicken katsu was average, I would have appreciated more a pork katsu. It was as well reasonably priced and the lady was very attentive. Unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to go back there for another meal once I regained my appetite.

I’ve been many times to the one in Seminyak and always loved it — this location is just as good! Same amazing quality, super fresh sushi, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite Japanese spots in Bali.

More than 30 mins or maybe almost 1 hour waiting for 2 portion of rolls. Some guests who were coming after us got the food ready before us. Having lunch on 23 April 2023 with family. The food was okay. The place was quite hot. We need to wait the food quite a long time 😬 The Wagyu was disappointed 😞 but other Food was fine. Not meet our expectations.

Even tho i’m not a fan of sushi actually, but this one is okee for me... we ordered bento packaged for kids and also sushi.. yummy taste, cozy place!! But one thing i suggested is : the waitress’s face was sooooo FLAT ( no smile at all ) maybe next time the manager should training to her “ how to smile “ 😊

The food here is fantastic – the katsu curry and ramen are absolute standouts, with great value for money. Service overall was really warm and friendly, and the staff made us feel very welcome. One note: on our second night visiting, the young male host at the door tried to turn us away at 9:25pm, even though the restaurant clearly closes at 10pm. It seemed like he wanted to wrap up early, which wasn’t a great experience. Thankfully, the waitresses quickly stepped in, were super sweet, and even made me an origami stork for my birthday 🥰 – which completely turned the night around. Would still highly recommend for the food and overall atmosphere – just hope the front-of-house host improves his approach.

We came to Shaka Riki twice during our short 4-day stay in Pecatu, Bali (Jl. Labuansait), and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. We started both visits with the salmon nigiri, which was unbelievably fresh and melted in your mouth. I ordered sushi each time, including the Freestone and Curren roll with avocado instead of spinach—they were happy to accommodate, and every bite was delicious and beautifully presented. Had dinner at Shaka Riki and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was beautifully designed with a relaxing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. My favourite restaurant in uluwatu. Service is amazing. They bring you hand towels, peanuts, lemon water and miso soup all on the house. They are accommodating to allergies. The restaurant is gorgeous it feels like fine dining but with really reasonable prices. Toilets really clean and nice. Staff lovely always topping up water. They also brought bug spray over for us. The food was delicious. I had the veggie gyoza and they were so good and the curried udon noodles. Lush! Would 100% recommend.

I’ve been to Shaka Riki many times with my boyfriend, and every visit has been amazing! Their vegan sushi is absolutely delicious definitely one of the best I’ve had in Bali. They have an incredible vegan menu, and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried, especially the sushi, seaweed salad, and vegan ramen. The staff is the best I’ve seen in all of Bali (and I’ve lived here for years) they’re professional, kind, and always make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food with great vegan options!

When it comes to Japanese restaurants in Sanur, I definitely recommend "Tetsushin"! You can enjoy steak, sushi, and a variety of izakaya menu items. We recommend the teppanyaki steak. The juicy meat was the best. The presentation of the food was wonderful and it became a memorable memory of the trip. It's more reasonable than eating at a hotel, so I'll be coming back to eat there again soon.

I found this place somehow in facebook, it gave me an intriguing invitation for tasting their recipes. Not long after that there I were tasting those foods. It tasted fresh and crunchy, I loved the mocktail too. Not too big place but comfy to spend time with friends or colleagues, right in the main road of Sanur pedestrian. Good location. Nice staff. Tried this place for the first time and went with one of the sets that included lobster, forgot the exact name. Overall, it was a good dining experience, especially with the live cooking show by the chef. Surprisingly, the appetizer was the highlight, it was absolutely delicious! The teppanyaki was tasty, though a bit too buttery for my liking 😅 and the ice cream flambé had a slight spiritus aftertaste. On the bright side, the service was excellent 👏 all the staff were super professional and polite.

We came across Nagano when we were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday. We went for the teppanyaki course and we really had a good meal and good time at Nagano. We had a good chat with Chef Novita while she was preparing all the delicious food for us. We enjoyed every single item from the Teppanyaki Course. Chef Novita was also professional and shared with us on how we can better enjoy the dishes. Throughout the meal, Ardhie, our server also made sure our table was clean and spotless while also clearing our plates promptly. We definitely had a good meal and Surabaya and we will surely be back here again!

I had a fantastic experience at Nagano with waitress Grace and chef Dwi. The food was outstanding and excellently prepared. The seafood, especially the salmon, was incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. I tried the Nagano Cruise Course Teppanyaki Chef Selection, and it exceeded my expectations. Still being the favorite teppan in surabaya! always came back here when there is an occassion with my wife. The foods all taste delicious with their chefs are highly skilled and friendly as well. Especially love the garlic buttered miso tastes of the beef, scallops and konyaku. Love the sweet sour taste of the soup with the salmon as well. On top of that, the course is finished with the amazing ice cream banana flambe. Sugoi! Amazing! Will def come back for more.

The presentation was lovely, yet the flavors were just average — not as bold or refined as I hoped for from a Japanese restaurant with such good reviews. My first visit at Imari. This Japanese restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. As we were seated they gave us salad and chawan mushi which were complimentary I suppose. We came for their ala carte menu this time. For teppan set you need to prebook your seat in advance. Our choices came to these: (1) Imari Mori. This menu set came with all types of protein. Salmon sashimi, grilled beef, butter prawn & scallops, assorted tempura, and egg tofu. Served alongside rice, miso soup. and tsukemono. I must say each component of this dish is exactly like how I like it. Worth every penny. A must-get. (2) Imari Sushi. When you don't know which sushi to get, get this. Different kinds of sushi in one plate varying from yellowtail, salmon, maguro, saba, and tako or octopus. You get one whole ebi roll with jumbo shrimp as well. The type of fish may vary based on availability. Freshness level were amazing. Except for their saba, smells a bit pungent. Definitely an acquired taste. Octopus was a bit too chewy but there's no fishy smell. (3) Purin Caramel Their version of Japanese Caramel Pudding served alongside sake. Sweet, creamy, fragrant, with a kick. Caramel sauce was a bit too much, but still good. A must try. Overall experience was very good. We arrived a bit late nearing their closing time, yet they still took our order in. Even when we were the last customers to leave, we were given the time and space to enjoy our meal comfortably. We even overheard the restaurant manager instructed the cleaner to not go near our table just yet. Shoutout for the kind hospitality. Will definitely come back!

My first time eating at Imari and that's because a friend's birthday. They booked for the 10 pax Teppan Chef set menu. It was a unique experience. Not just because you see the chef cook in front of you, but also you it them right away. The ingredients was so good and fresh, and with the right heat and timing, voila.. and even the garlic was cooked nicely. I love the egg tofu and salmon soup. If you order the banana flambé as the dessert, you'll watch a live-fire show in front of you. The ogura and matcha are the recommended ice cream flavour to accompany the banana flambé. The atmosphere as you come in feels warm, fine Japanese dining style, and the staff hospitality of course was so good because it is part of JW Marriott Hotel. So grateful for the treat and experiencing Imari for the first time. Hopefully can come back and try another menu from Imari. The sushi and sashimi looks so fresh!

You will never disappoint after eating in this place. They have freshly made Sanuki style udon and so many kind of crispy fried tempura. I personally dont really like deep fried food but i love their kakiage tempura (deep fried vegetables). Another thing that i like about this place is the customer can add as many chilli, chopped green onion, fried crumbs, chilli powder, soy sauce or any sauce as they like. For the ordering process was pretty efficient according to a huge amount of customers that lined up, excellent service. The interior design has a japanese touch to it, has an open kitchen which might bring a better experience for the customer, very clever. Reasonable price. It’s considerably pricey as the portion is small for me but if you’re looking for a memorable experience with family or partner, don’t think twice! What stands out the most is its salmon sashimi and noodle, so fresh. I’d recommend you to avoid visiting this place during peak season because obviously you’re gonna be put on the waiting list. I really want to try their salad next time since people say the dressing tastes so nice.

Good place to have a sushi in Surabaya. This branch located in TP 5. They have indoor and outdoor dining area with Japanese vibes. They also have sushi conveyor that makes the vibes even more Japanese. I tried their salmon mentai sushi. It was good for me that usually don’t like raw fish. The salmon cut is thin, fresh and not fishy. I also tried their ramen. Their soyu broth is nice, but it’s not as good as my favorite ramen house. The ramen itself is okay and topping is rich and nice. Overall if you want to try good sushi. Sushi Tei must be in your list.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !! This must have been one of the worst restaurants i ate. They made us pay for things we did not consume. The quality was horrible all the food on the conveyor belt was old and warm and did not resemble sushi. There was even one with mayonnaise and cheddar cheese on top that made me nearly throw up 🤮 The service was slow and unfriendly. On top of this all the food gave me stomach problems and the food was not worth their price. Review from a foreigner.

The scallops smells and taste fishy so I don’t think they are fresh. The fish roes were mostly burst or ruined. Salmon belly has a weird taste too. I dont believe this is Sushi Tei standard as i frequent them very often and disappointed this time.

A cozy and clean all you can eat restaurant. It is located near Surabaya Zoo and Diponegoro Street. The price is reasonable. On one table you may do grilling and boiling (yakiniku and shabu), though it's similiar with Hanamasa, but I personally prefer Cocari because the price is lower and the meat is more tasteful than in Hanamasa. The parking lot is usually full especially during lunch and dinner time. Other option, you can eat at times between lunch and dinner for a quiet place.

There's lot of food choice, from meat to seafood, even lot of veggies to pick. The soup is kind of bland. Chawanmushi is not that great. Sushi was good. For ice cream is better that the staff taking it for the customer because it's hard to scoop and our hand are dirty. Lack of wastafel, hygiene suppose to be number one. Also the restaurant space are too small, it is too packed, other customer chair hitting another, can't even walk through the hallway. During my visit there the other customer attitude was ridiculous, after the meat section are refill fully, they immediately take it all to their plate and left the container completely empty again. If you're a customer and read this, please be considerate with other, have a bit of manner. I came here for my birthday dinner and after I told the staff that 'today is my birthday' few minutes later they turn on the music birthday theme in the whole restaurant and give me a slice of chocolate cake, it was nice, thank you for the service.

Although the place is not instagramable, it is redeemed with the food here. There are, suki, shabu, sushi, takoyaki, frieds, ice cream, salad, fruit. They also have many drink choices, thai tea, lecy tea, blackcurrant tea, mineral water, sari beans n many more. One thing less comfortable is the layout is very crowded... It is so crowded and has very narrow space so you have to squeezed yourself if you want to back and forth looking for food and get back to your seat.

Literally 1 roll per evening paired with a large Bintang would be all I needed any given night (granted I eat light in the evenings generally). Visited 5 times in 2 weeks of a stay in Surabaya. The place is located on the 5th floor, easily accessed from the lobby and turn right once you get off the elevator. The price is considerate of the portion and taste-wise not disappointing. I'd rate most of what was ordered around 8, with probably some scoring a solid 6 (still good, but not mindblowing kind of good). For our group, we liked the deluxe sashimi well suited for a group of 3 people (unless you are ordering other stuff, it can be for more). Definitely, would make a stop here if I visit Surabaya.

One of a very few places in town that still maintain the quality of their products. Fresh sashimi. Look at the maguro. Thick cut. Salmon has always been divine. Their maki is surprisingly good. Proper slices. Fresh tempura. Zen soba has proper texture. The chicken and braised eggplants remind me of nikujaga. The taste is balanced. Chawan mushi is on the house because the restaurant staff sent the wrong order. I wonder why they no longer have shrimp with their chawan mushi instead of kani. Kani is good but I’d like shrimp so much better on my chawan mushi. The highlight of this weekend lunch is going to be the sweet ebi sushi. Really close to what I had back in Ginza. I’m happy that this place stands the test of time. Good to be back. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

It is quite a dissapointing experience dining here after I haven't been here for a long time. I used to really love this place for their sushi. We ordered the assorted kinds of sushi ( inari, salmon, crabstick mayo, sake abura mayo ), bagel roll, and chicken teriyaki teisoku. Everything was a flop. They don't even use sushi rice. Feeling abit adventurous today and ordered Salmon Mentai Donburi from Neo Hachi menu. Little did I know I will regret it later. The rice is drenched in mayonaise to the point where I can't differentiate between the Salmon and rice. Miso soup acconpanied the menu can do very little to help cleanse my pallate. should've stick to my regular order of sushi which is cheap and taste good. The place is quite limited in space so a waiting list is expected during rush hour. Overall still a good place to eat. My 2 cent, Just avoid the neo Hachi menu. It is an epic fail

Delicious food with affordable price, but the place is too small. One set sushi (in the pic) is plenty enough for two persons. Definitely will come back to eat sushi 😊

Honestly I often pass by this restaurant. But I never consider even once to visit, because of my lack of knowledge about this restaurant. On the other hand, the exterior is too dark I think, so it is kinda gloomy. My friend once ask me to join him to have dinner there, and I surprised with the overall performance. The food is really nice, the price is actually the same compared to many restaurant serving Japanese food. Here, you can have many kind of Sushi, Ramen, Udon, Rice Bowl, Bento Box, and many more. The drinks are also nice. I will definitely ask my friend to try this place if I ever go to Tunjungan Plaza again.

Honestly, the one at East Coast is better. Here is like the minimum average. Not bad, but not good. I wasn’t disappointed nor satisfied. Overall though, still worth it. But I would rather drive more to the one at East Coast to taste the better version.

Tried their Chicken Collagen Ramen: the broth is delicious; strong chicken taste with a slight nutty after taste. Just a bit input: Leek quantity should be asked to the customer, default quantity was too much. Place and overall service was quite good. Please keep up the good work 👌🏽

Last month, I and my boyfriend had lunch at Yamagoya Ramen in Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. The restaurant had a warm and cozy vibes. It wasn’t too crowded, and the staff greeted us kindly and polite. We ordered their original Pork Tonkotsu Ramen and a glass of cold ocha (Japanese tea). The ramen was delicious, the broth was rich of flavor, and the noodles were soft but chewy. The sliced pork was tender and tasty. The portion was just right and made me feel full and happy. The tea came with free refills, which was a nice bonus. Prices were around Rp 70,000 to Rp 80,000 for the ramen, which is okay for a high quality ramen place inside a mall. I had a great time and would give Yamagoya Ramen 4 out of 5 stars. By:Eugenia

This place is always crowded as usual. Love the soup from ramen. We tried Black Garlic Ramen, it's but if you just first came please go with original flavour like Yamagoya/ Tonkotsu ramen first. Free flow ocha here, but you need to wait for the service. For me it's worth the price.

It is one of my favorite ramen place in town. They never dissapoint. I love all of their ramen but what makes it even better is actually the chilli oil and their fried dumping. Their menus have porks so it is not halal for some people. Although they do have chicken and non-porks menu. You can also buy the chilli oil to take home, it is around 35 idr per jar.

One of the oldest all you can eat buffet in town surabaya , they have so many variaty in food and beverage that you will satisfy to enjoy it with family and friends , plus they dont make limited time for you to eat nor drink ,the taste is nice depend on your taste , but you can adjust by choices they have in the restaurant ,some need to be cook by their chef some you can cook by your self and some already cooked . . Try it when you in town ,i think now it cost around 200k / person

I think there were more varian of menus here compared to the gubeng one. Quite recommended! But the place was not really big, and its crowded often. So when there's no seat left, you have to wait. It happened a lot esp.when some seats had been booked before. If you never been here, dont try to find this place in gmaps! It said on the 4th floor, but it's actually on the 5th floor! Oh and there's no toilet. You can go out and find the toilet in the outside of the resto

from some of the menus that we ordered. gyoza is one of the things we don't like, the inside is not warm like frozen food with a rough and slightly hard filling texture. for other menus, the average is quite good.

I like the salad, and especially the gyoza. Its one of the best gyoza Ive ever taste. The miso soup and agedashi tofu were a bit too salty. The sushi and mozaru were OK, a bit pricey tho'. Still its a quite nice dining experience.

Service was great, server was knowledgeable, suggested me to have my egg sunny side instead of well done so i could get the fresh omega-3 egg. I ordered beef teppan which was satisfying, the beef was good quality and lean meat. Miso soup was too salty, though. Overall a great Japanese restaurant option if you're in the area.

It's one of the decent and good All you can eat place. The service is great and fast. The waiters are kind. The food are delicious. There are various option for meat from chicken, beef, fish, squid, and shrimp. There are also dessert, all you can refill drink, sukiyaki and grill. I got my package for 207 IDR. All in all, its a great place for meat lovers. You can ask the waiter for miso soup and ice cream too.

The japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant which place near a darmo train station. The drink in this restaurant is good enough, especially green tea. The fruit is fresh, but not so variety. The vegetable, meat, and salad veggies are fresh and has enough variety. And the time of resupply is fast enough, so customer don't have to wait. And the dessert ice creams have a good taste.

Comfy and clean place to eat. The place is spacious and not hot too. The seats are soft and comfortable too, it's premium chair not making any disturbing while moving chairs forward. Not overcooked and not raw, just right,also delicious. Unfortunately the flour prawns are not refilled, it's really good. Various kinds of sambal you can take by yourself as much as you like. One of the best franchise sushi restaurant ever exist; the taste of course, without a doubt, delicious and fresh. It's been awhile since my last visit in here. For me, my personal favorite dish would be : salad (all variants), sashimi (all variants), chuka idako, yakitori, and grilled squid. Overall this place always gives me an amazing experience of eating sushi everytime I visit. Keep up the good work!

Visited Sushi tei in august 2022, nice Japanese restaurant with good food. Staff was nice and friendly as expected. My friend ordered some food whose names I don’t remember but all was delicious and freshly cooked on order.

I had a dinner with my wife after so long because they close during this pandemic. The food tastes are still good as per my expectation; the Mayo kani salad is still fresh, the tokuni roll and spicy gyuniku enoki meat are good too. My wife and I do enjoy our quality time there. We will surely dine again at Sushi Tei.

They are good at occupying every single corner here. Although the room is not really spacious, they have enough seatings. Therefore, the queue is not really long. You can have what you want within 2 to 4 minutes. Moreover, the interior is also quite decorative; it gets you to refresh your mind and ebb from the noise outsides.

Worst fastfood service ive ever seen. 1 cashier open, only few crew inside. The queue too long, even some leave. No one clean dirty table. Hire more crew ffs. Theres no point to have a big place with few crew only. Owner, dont be too stingy, seriously.

Good Japanese food. The DIY grill is always a must, especially for a meal out with friends. Price is correct, the place is clean.

Even Saboten claimed that they sell Japanese Food, but actually they're not. The taste is suitable for Indonesian, so when you order a spicy one, maybe you could see slices chili there. But overall, Saboten is good and recommend.

When i go to Saboten, the menu that i have to order is Yakiniku Tomyam Steamboat. I love the aroma and the taste of the broth, especially the spicy one. Yet now i can make it by myself. So ppl should try this menu, and you wont get disappointed.

I visited this restaurant during the day with quite high expectations because this restaurant is quite famous. Indeed, the taste offered is still good and not much different from other branches, but the service is very bad. The staff on duty may be lacking, but the actual number of visitors is also not that many, so the service provided should be better. Staff tend to be indifferent, unfriendly and a bit curt. Hopefully in the future the service at this restaurant can be better. As far as I know there is no restaurant manager in sight, if this continues maybe the number of visitors will decrease. how to order : 1. come to the cashier 2. order the menu you want 3. make direct payments by cash / cashless 4. find a seat 5. Take your own food at the cashier's area (I forgot if it was delivered to the table at other branches, but at least that's what I felt at this Delta Plaza branch) 6. I was disappointed with the service provided to customers. They did not provide information and even seemed rude when we asked about the menu and promos. Other than that, the food came in about 20 minutes, quite a long time considering they label themselves as a japanese restaurant Hopefully, they can improve their service.

One of a good place to eat. Been there several times and never get bored. The taste of the food they offers are so yummy with those high quality beef and chicken mixed with some toppings. Egg mayo is my favorite at this far. Yoshinoya never disappoint me! 💟

well, HokBen is definitely one of my favourite mid-price Japanese fast food restaurant. they provide many kind of menus and still maintaining the quality and prices. They have varians of rice, chicken, shrimp, eggs, basically every popular ingredients for Japanese food, but what is making them survive, is the taste and the portion was adjusted to fit with Indonesian. The price itself is considerably cheap compared to many other Japanese based resto. they have menu package start from the simple and cheapest one, to the complete and quite pricey one. you can choose depend on what you feel like. the place is so so, not too fancy but enough and proper. they have washtafel/lavatory, and the table is quite clean. the staff is helpful and fast in serving the food.

Their menu set is really a steal, complete meal value for your money that includes a bowl of rice, udon/miso soup, tofu and jelly plus salad depending on the main dish. Yasai tempura set is good for vegetarian, love it much! Kare chahan is also nice Simply one of the hidden gems of Surabaya's culinary scene on my list.

Pretty old restaurant and was already here since i was little. Taste is pretty good still the same as before. The restaurant hasn’t had any renovations i think so it looks pretty vintage.

two words: CHICKEN TERIYAKI. I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a kid. Growing up, their chicken teriyaki sort of became a comfort food for me. Then I went to the US for my studies for about 7 years. I came back here just recently with my cousin and siblings, ordered the exact same thing and BOOM! Just as expected. Never fails, tasted exactly the same since the day I left 7-8 years ago. Don't believe me? Go ahead and order your self their heavenly chicken teriyaki. Such a well executed simple homey dish.

Well sized portion and delicious japanese meal. The unagi sauce was too sweet for my taste. So it's make me nauseated after eat it because the unagi was submerge in the sauce.

One of the very first Japanese restaurants in Surabaya, and the first one to serve curry. Quite expensive for the portion and taste, but considering Coco Ichibanya has no branch in Surabaya. This can be an alternative for now. The curry is not thick enough, and tastes like store bought curry. The meat is tender and delicious though. Good service, and the place's clean. Maybe a bit too clean since the lingering smell of cleaning solution is quite strong.

The portion is quite large and ngeyangin banget. quite affordable for that price. The curry taste is delicious, but somehow too spicy for me, hamburg nya enak banget.

It's quite good, although I ordered it too spicy for me. I ordered medium spiciness and it's too much for me (I am bad with spicy food, McDonald's McSpicy is my limit). The portion is sufficient for regular, but the only complaint is that the ocha is lukewarm although i ordered hot ocha. The waitress all went inside the backstore probably because there are little people inside the store (I had to walk there just to ask to order) (Although it's not that far so its ok) Overall its quite good, although it's quite expensive per person.

Unique dining experience ! Located above papaya supermarket, it has an extensive menu but as the name says i think it specializes in Japanese curry rice, you can customize it however you want ( how spicy , how much rice, and the toppings etc )and what you get is a neatly beautiful curry , separated with white fluffy rice and the toppings on top of it, taste wise is a 5/5 and the anchovy crisps are such a delight, however the place is a bit small and stuffy and price is a bit high, however i would definitely be back for the curry 🙏🙏👌👌..

The best japan curry in Surabaya. You can choose what sauce you like, pork or beef. Rice, pasta or butter rice. What kind of meat, from pork, beef, chicken, etc. And another topping you like, ie vegetable stew, cheese egg, okura and tofu, etc. And the amazing thing you must know its you can choose how big your portion you like and how spicy your sauce. Very recommended place for eat curry.

Not worth the price, a piece of chicken cutlet is IDR 40k++, rice with curry sauce regular size is IDR 50k++. Sure 15 years ago there are only a few place selling authentic Japanese curry, but nowadays there are several alternatives with better taste and price. This place need to step up their game or left behind the times.

Had a lunch here on Sunday. Selected the hotpot buffet. The place relatively empty with only less than 20 people dining. The experience I had is somewhat quite disappointing. Many of the dishes are empty. Considering it is still lunch time, they should be more prepared. Had to asked the staff several time for a refill but was told all of them are still being prepared. Waited 45min but almost none of them is being refilled anyway. Ordered the special vegetable (comes within the package I chose) but it took them almost an hour to bring out the veggie. I turned it down since we finished eating anyway. This wasnt the Shaburi i remembered. The staff was apologetic.

And also have many beverages variety from soda, fruit flavor, ocha and water. There is ice cream too, but when I come the machine is out of order. But shaburi and kintan here is divided different from the one on Tunjungan Plaza.

During the pandemic, their quality for buffet area is controlled and require you to use a glove and mask to take food, and not allowing refills with the same medium you took, especially drinks.
