Each bite showcases the bakery's commitment to quality, with standout items like their rich chocolate cheesecake and delectable tiramisu cake. The inviting atmosphere is complemented by friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
I am a little shocked reading through the recent reviews 😳 I personally have never had a bad experience at Caldense - always fresh and delicious! This particular visit, us girlies ordered the Bifana sandwich (potatoes from Tina's Chicken) and a oreo cake slice to enjoy at the café. We also ordered Portuguese tarts, a strawberry coconut tart, a cherry cheesecake slice and a custard donut to go - scrumptious! 😍 we love Caldense! ♡

I was really excited to try all the baked goods after I had spending $60 on bread and pastries. The sourdough bread is airy and fantastic, but if you don’t eat it by the next day becomes hard as a rock, the lobster tails are good, but the filling is very dense and thick (Nutella or pistachio cream only). The Portuguese egg tarts are fantastic and fresh. I was a fan of the pineapple upside down cake, not so much of their cheesecakes. Cannolis were OK, but I wouldn’t buy them again. I bought a rice pudding, which was good and a flan which was way past its expiry date. The custard was sour and vile, and the caramel liquid had congealed. My poor husband gagged as soon as he took a bite. The bakery is good, but not great. I won’t be returning.

Delicious pastries, fresh bread, and a great selection of classic Portuguese baked goods. Everything I tried tasted great. The staff were friendly, and the bakery is clean and inviting. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the prices were a bit higher than I expected. Still, the quality is definitely there.
Rui — Google review
Ordered 3 chicken parm sandwiches. Total was almost 60 dollars after taxes. The chicken was so hammered down and thin. As a result of this 2 out of the 3 of the sandwiches were over cooked and more like chicken jerky. 1 sandwich was so hard that it could not even be chewed. Spoke to one employee and she refused to help us stating half was eaten. Went to another staff member who said she would make another one. The picture attacked is of the replacement one. Still over done, still unable to eat it. Both of the servers look like the detest their jobs and appeared very unhappy. Just a bad experience... wanted dessert but too scared to try it.

Horrible flavored cappuccino! We have been there for the second time and wanted to test the morning coffee break there. I ordered a vanilla cappuccino and it was almost disgusting. I went back and asked if they added gingerbread instead of vanilla because there was a sign where it mentions available sirup shots of vanilla or gingerbread. He told me no and showed me the different flavors they have and I had to admit that I didn’t see any gingerbread. The brands is Matteo which is a pretty common brand in many coffee shops and I am not at my first flavored coffee/ latte or cappuccino try. This was definitely not the normal vanilla. It was not tasting vanilla at all. Extremely weird taste that made my cappuccino not drinkable. My partner got a normal cappuccino and that was fine. It tasted good actually. He tried mine and thought it was like a mixed cherry flavor…. Regardless of what flavor it was it was digusting and absolutely not vanilla alike taste. I am pretty disappointed as I thought it was gonna be our new morning coffee break spot. But nope. However, I purchased their spicy chorizo and it was good. Surprisingly it wasn’t very hot and not too greasy which was excellent for my paella cooking. It was around $12 and I think it was pretty reasonable. You don’t find chorizo everywhere. I found one in the Whitby no frills but here the quality was a lot better. Not dried and less greasy. This item it’s maybe a reason of why I may come back. Concerning the custard tard, classic Portuguese pastry… I guess for someone that never had before it could be tasty. My partner loved it. In my opinion, it was so-so. The puff pastry was good the custard itself so-so. I like the creamier version better. I think it’s still worth a try. If you like eggs, this sweet pastry could be tasty for you. I also tried one their pistachio item and it was good and pretty sweet. A bit too oily. My fingers were a bit greasy after grabbing it. Good for a try but not for a second time. I am just very disappointed at the cappuccino served… and they didn’t care when I mention it didn’t taste like how it should be. It would have been nice if they suggest an alternative. I didn’t ask any reimbursement as I understand that they still made it, etc. It was really not a normal flavor at all!! I am curious about the Ajax place that other people had mentioned… but I am also curious at the roasted chicken at this location (well called Tina but it’s the same place). I know roasted Portuguese chickens are usually very tasty. I may come just to try it. If not good I will definitely crossed out that place from the shop of list to visit. The nice part is that during summer they have some seats outside. Like a ‘Terrace’ vibe. The parking view didn’t bother me. You could see an old building/church in front. It was still pleasant. Free parking in front of the store. Or municipal parking st the back. Free during the weekend and in the evening during the week.

I visited this bakery for the first time with my wife on August 17th, excited to try some sweets from their menu. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined when we found a big fly inside one of the pastries we ordered. What made the situation worse was the staff’s reaction. Instead of sincerely apologizing and taking responsibility, they were dismissive and blamed the pastry maker rather than owning the issue. This left us very disappointed, especially as we had high expectations from this place. I’ve attached both a picture and a video of what we were served, as it was truly unacceptable for a bakery to let this happen. Food safety and customer service should be taken much more seriously.
Rohit A — Google review
I was super disappointed today. Stopped in while on a walk and I grabbed a slice of hazelnut cake and my husband grabbed a tart. When we got home to eat them we realized my cake was stale. Not slightly stale, the cake was hard, crusty, and not a bit of moisture left. We can now see reviews are very mixed. My husband’s tart was good. This place must be very inconsistent with their quality and clearly they do not bake fresh or clear their shelves enough. Save your money and find somewhere that has higher quality standards!

Bought this cake today for my grandfather, we went to go light the candles and saw mold on more than one place. This is not an authentic Portuguese spot.. girl was also giving attitude at the bakery should have been my sign to walk out and go somewhere else

Fantastic experience!! Dayna was our server and I think she was the only one serving tables. Very kind and didn’t look flustered at all(it was busy in there) We had the sweet cred on a crepe, most delicious thing I’ve had in a while! Looking forward to going back!

We had a great experience thanks to our server Athena. She was so welcoming, had great knowledge of the menu, answered my 100 questions with a smile on her face and even saved me from ordering something im highly allergic to. She took the time to ask us how our day was and stuck around for the answer by far the best service we have got in along time. She absolutely made our night enjoyable. 10/10 for customer service from this beautiful lady. Thank you.

Very good dessert, great service too. A very large menu and choices for all! I wish they would have had pictures of the dessert which would make it easier to decide.

This was our first time visiting this particular location, and it did not disappoint. The desserts were so good, we had to come back a second time! Definitely one of the top spots for amazing sweets.
Fitzroy S — Google review
Went after a long time, service was amazing but the quality of desserts was disappointing. The banana milk shake was lukewarm, the chocolate parfait was sort of dry and lacked any flavor. Only thing good was the sticky toffee pudding
Sumera ( — Google review
We visit this location all the time, it’s become one of our regular spots! The seasonal menu keeps things fresh, and we’re always impressed by the creative, flavorful dishes they come up with. We’ve loved everything we’ve tried so far! The service is consistently excellent, and our server Lauren was especially wonderful, so kind, attentive, and made our experience even better.
Shefali P — Google review
The tables are scuffed up and could use a refinish. There is visible dust hanging off of fans, which isn't very appetizing inside of a mid-to-high-cost restaurant. The AC was pleasant, the server was prompt and paid attention to all tables properly. The food is hand made with high quality fresh ingredients -- we had an Oreo shake and a banana chocolate shake, both were amazing. The dusty fans and faded tabletops were the only reasons this wasn't a 5-star review.
Spaz M — Google review
First time trying this location, desert tasted great and plenty of options for all different types of waffles n ice cream. 😋🍦🧇 At the end we had to wait 20 minutes for the bill which never came, ended up having to go to the front desk in order to pay and leave. 😠⏳🚶

I purchased Apple Crumble tarts, Lemon tarts, and cookies (chocolate chip & cookies and cream) from Cupcake Junkie Dessert Bakery Brooklin. The order arrived in excellent condition. The lemon tarts were delightful, with a tangy taste and a light, flaky, buttery crust. The apple crumble tarts were exceptional; they contained plentiful apples and cinnamon with a delicious crumb topping made from the same crust as the lemon tarts.
We ordered custom cupcakes, cakepops and cookies with edible logo toppers for our grand opening event. They made the dessert table look beautiful and were yummy - there were no left overs after the event!
Michelle S — Google review
They have mixed reviews, so I thought I would check them out myself. At $4 plus each, I expected at least a decent base. Taste is good, I just wouldn't present these to guests, and that's the point right? RESPONSE to owner. Photo already attached to review. There is no icing in the centre of the cupcake, and the base looks like it was baked at an angle. No, I did not order anything gluten free. I am not coming back to get another. The fact that you would let this quality leave your shop says it all.
Mich S — Google review
Love their cupcakes! Love that they have vegan options that taste just like the regular cupcakes. They don't always have the vegan cupcakes so it's better to call in before you go. They are a little expensive but the day old pack they have tastes very fresh and is a very good deal if you come by it. I usually don't like Oreo flavour but their Oreo cupcakes are just too good! They do pre-order for bigger cakes as well...a little on the pricier side but I would assume they taste great.
Traveling F — Google review
Great customer service when we stopped in to pick up some cupcakes and cheesecake for a birthday party. Everyone loved the flavours and selection! Unfortunately I didn't get a pic of the actual cupcakes we purchased, but they looked great!
Keith W — Google review
DELICIOUS! I ordered a mix of 12 cupcakes to be delivered and they were great! Really delicious and good quality, awesome selection of flavours to choose from. I had planned on only ordering a mix of 6 but couldn't decide so ended up getting a mix of 12 and totally worth it! My whole family loved them! Definitely will be back for more!
Amanda W — Google review
Called this place on December 28, 2020 hoping the best to get a cake done in 2 days for a friend’s birthday. And they were so nice and polite about all the details. They helped me with what would work better in taste and design and gave me warnings before confirmation about how the icing would stain our teeth, but we had a great laugh when everyone’s teeth were black. Just want to say thank you so much. I defintely would recommend this place to someone.

Thank you for helping my mom celebrate her 80th Birthday with your beautiful gluten-free cupcakes! There was a issue with the order but you corrected it ASAP no extra cost and I appreciate your excellent customer service! They tasted delicious too! 🧁

Cupcakes are always good. My only complaint is the filling is just at the top of the cupcake. I would give 5 stars if filling was in the center of the cupcake throughout.

Visiting the Village Bake Shop in Whitby is like stepping into a delightful culinary time capsule. This charming family-owned bakery has been serving the community for decades, specializing in traditional Dutch treats such as Banket, Stroopwafels, and Butter Tarts. With a commitment to quality ingredients and cherished recipes, it’s no wonder that locals flock here for their sweet fix.
It's a bakery, it's a deli, and so much more! They have great meats and a wonderful variety of breads and doughnuts. They also have a unique supply of international candies. The staff was so attentive and helpful in the deli, bakery, and at the registers. They are well trained in customer service. Great store!

Bakery is amazing - everything is always fresh and tastes great. The service is great, greeted with smiles and kindness. The rest of the store is filled with imported treats and condiments (lots of British goods). And though I haven't tried it myself, I hear the deli items are also delicious.

Best prices for cakes and pastries/breads. Wish I’ve discovered and tried this out sooner! Not only are you supporting local if you shop here, you also get to save a few bucks more, compared to if you buy from big corporate bakeries. They have souvenir fridge magnets for those who also collect those. Canadian owned. Family operated. I love that they also have a functional website that accurately shows the prices of their products 🙂💗
Tracey M — Google review
We been going to Village Bake Shop since they were in Orono. Always has the best baking! The apple fritter is the very best I've ever had. The Portuguese tarts are perfection with a good bit of chocolate. We picked up a mixed box for a dinner party, there were no losers in this box as everyone wanted to know where we got them. No leftovers! This place has been the same for many years and is hands down our favorite bakery. Treat yourself!
Geno D — Google review
Decent bakery overall. The apple fritters are excellent, and the other donut options are solid too. That said, I think this place could really shine with some adjustments to how the store is set up and managed: Organization during busy times – Consider implementing a numbering system for customers. When it gets busy, the ordering process feels a bit disorganized. Store layout – The shelves you have to walk through before reaching the baked goods make the space feel cramped. I get the idea of selling chocolates and other extras, but I’d bet those items don’t drive nearly as much revenue as the space they take up. If those shelves were reduced, you could free up room for seating. With a few core niche items (your best sellers), you’d still keep the add-on sales, but you’d also open up a new opportunity. Seating would allow customers to enjoy their donuts, buy a coffee, maybe grab a bottle of water afterward—all while increasing the average ticket size. For example, instead of just $14.25 for a 6-pack of donuts, you could see $21.75+ when someone sits down and adds a coffee, a donut to snack on, and a drink. That’s almost 50% more revenue just from offering a chair by the window. Deli section – The meats and cheeses are nice, but they feel somewhat disconnected from the bakery focus. If you had seating, though, you could really leverage this by offering simple sandwiches using the bread you already bake. At $6–$9 each, you’d have a great lunch option—especially with the high school right around the corner. That could be steady business throughout the day. Overall, the baked goods are good, but the store feels like it’s one smart pivot away from being much more profitable and inviting.
Daivey C — Google review
I came here looking for a doughnut and some hot chocolate and was blown away at the selection and welcoming staff! It is loaded with all sorts of goodies that I did not expect like imported candy’s and meats. I found a chocolate bar that I have been looking for years for! I was welcomed by a man in an orange shirt when I came in and was helped by a young man who gave me some time to figure out what I wanted and then did a great job helping me I ended up taking home a crazy delicious looking peanut butter cupcake. The best apple fritter I have ever had! And a great hot chocolate all for less than $10.

I recently placed an order at Cordon Sue Sweets for a Black Forest Cake and a chocolate/vanilla cake. The entire transaction, from ordering over the phone to picking up the cakes, was flawless and pleasant. Both cakes were not only visually stunning but also incredibly tasty. The Black Forest Cake had fresh whipped cream frosting, real Kirsch cherries, and moist chocolate cake that wasn't overly sweet. The message on the cake was beautifully written as well.
I don’t leave reviews often, nor am I really a cake person but I just had to leave 5 stars! We ordered a custom cake for a friend’s 30th (who’s pregnant and had a very specific craving). We were able to order a lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese icing just as the mama to be wanted. It was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had, not to mention how beautiful it looked. It wasn’t overly sweet and it was light and delicate but packed with flavour. Thank you and we will be ordering again for future events and celebrations!

We'd ordered sandwiches, a cake and other finger food/snacks for my baby shower in June. The food was delicious and I believe it's run by a lovely lady (Cordon?) and her aunt. Will order again for sure.

On Saturday I hosted a get together for my friends and had chosen Cordon Sue to cater. BEST decision ever! The pinwheel sandwiches were so fresh and made with only the best ingredients. The cheese tray was excellent. I had ordered cupcakes and a small sweet tray. Which can only be described as decadent. My friends were so impressed! Delivery was right on time. I will only order from this lovely lady again. Thank you Sue for making my day with friends a great experience 😊 Linda

I ordered a Black Forest Cake for a friends' birthday celebration. I placed the order by phone and picked it up a few days later at an agreed time. From start to finish, it was a faultless and pleasant transaction. Not only was it a visually beautiful cake, but also the one of the tastiest that my friends and I have had in a long time. Fresh whipped cream frosting, real Kirsch cherries and moist, chocolate cake. No cloying sweetness. Even the script used for the message was commented on. None of us had ever seen such beautiful writing on a cake. We enjoyed it immensely. I recommend this business highly.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS LOCATION A NEGATIVE STAR I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! Worst customer service by far. I took my child here to get some froyo and instead we were faced with disrespect. Never in my 30+ years of living have I had to deal with such ignorance! The workers here didn’t understand a single thing I said until I got upset and a bystander had to jump in to defend me. Their yogurt was expired and before I could even fill up a cup I tried to tell one of the workers that the little slip that was in my cup wasn’t any good and if they could either just allow me to get rid of it but instead the brown girl with the ponytail and thick Indian accent (which as a fellow half Indian, it’s not hard to spot) began yelling at me and saying I need to pay for the little dollop of frozen yogurt. At first I had no intentions of disagreeing because the cup didn’t even weigh since there wasn’t really anything inside, but when she continued to be disrespectful to me in-front of my family, I told her that her customer service was terrible. She later pestered me until someone else stepped up for me. THE SERVICE SUCKS AND I WISH I GOT HER NAME because people like that don’t deserve to work.if ur gonna come into this country and feed off our taxes, the most you can do is be respectful. My wife is a immigrant and never has she once been disrespectful or acted privileged towards strangers in public!!! Learn to respect people.

Love the fact we can make our own yogurt ice cream combos and the toppings are delicious and everything imaginable
Sumera ( — Google review
Had the employee stand over our shoulder because my child (who didn’t drop a single topping) was picking out his own toppings. She hovered to make sure he didn’t drop anything so she wouldn’t have to clean it. Such an upsetting experience. I hope management addresses this and gives training about the reality of working in an icecream shop where kids will come. My kid isn’t messy but I feel for parents whose kids are and I can only imagine the looks this employee would give them. Girl with braces. If I ever go back I’ll definitely be addressing the behaviour. So disgusting

So so delicious, clean space, outdoor seating, and the staff is very friendly!
Mysha S — Google review
While the price is a tad bit expensive, the selection is pretty good. My kids love having so many options. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The only thing I would suggest is having more than the same 2 vegan options.
Lalaa C — Google review
Terrible frozen yogurt now. All the flavours are almost flavourless, watery, and melt in two seconds. Customer service is also not great either. And the price has skyrocketed.
Laura T — Google review
The only flavor I liked was their blue raspberry tart, but they keep changing the ingredients, and it never tastes the same. It used to have a nice tartness, which I really enjoyed, but now they’ve made it overly sweet, and it just doesn’t taste good anymore.

Cupcake Goodness is undeniably the finest cupcake establishment I have ever visited. Their delectable confections were an ideal choice for my wedding, particularly their outstanding churro cupcake with its vanilla base, caramel filling, buttercream frosting, and cinnamon topping. Since then, I have become a regular patron due to the consistently fresh taste of their cupcakes.
They were amazing. The customer service was so great and polite making sure you happy with your cake. The cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Also so affordable and yummy!! Amazing and willing buying from her again!

I called Cupcake Goodness last-minute to order 40 nut-free cupcakes which had to be individually wrapped so that I could bring them to school for my son’s class on his birthday, which falls on Valentine’s Day. Knowing how busy Valentine’s Day likely is for business, paired with my last-minute and extremely high-maintenance request, I doubted that I’d be able to make this happen. After seeing my options in the area and reading customer reviews for many bakeries, I decided on Cupcake Goodness because of the exciting options they offered for their cupcakes and the reviews. I called and was pleasantly greeted by a very cheerful woman I would later learn is named Carla. Carla was very patient with me as I told her what I needed. She answered all of my questions, made suggestions that were very helpful, and walked me through how to place the order online. Poor Carla even accommodated about 5 different pick-up time changes within 10 hours and never once complained (don’t you dare do it to her too, though!!!!!). She was pleasant, friendly, and even laughed with me through all the changes. When I went to pick up the cupcakes the next morning, I could smell the deliciousness of her baking as I approached her building and was immediately excited to see her final product. Carla was so sweet, and the pick-up took mere seconds! Everything was ready to go, individually packaged as requested, and she even labelled each individual cupcake as well as listed how many of each cupcake was in the box and the ingredients of each one so that the kids in the class could all pick based on their preference (I forgot to take a photo where she outlined the ingredients and amount of each cupcake). I am beyond grateful to Carla for her patience, her willingness to accommodate my constantly-changing timeline, and for the mere love of her art which is very evident in the product she delivered! Delicious mouth-watering YUM in every bite! I will be returning to Carla for any and all baking needs in the future, and you should, too! Carla - thank you times a million (plus 40 😁)!

Went to the stall at the Whitby Farmers market, bought a loaf of bread, I believe it was the cheddar and bacon one. Looked fantastic though when I took it home to make a sandwich for lunch that day, the bread was too dense and crumbled everywhere. Could not even finish the sandwich as the bread fell apart. Very disappointed as it was an expensive loaf. Will not be buying from there again.

Cupcake Goodness is by far the best cupcake place I have ever been to. I ordered her cupcakes for my wedding. My favorite is the churro cupcake that is vanilla with caramel in the middle, buttercream icing and cinnamon on top! I've been going to her ever since. Her cupcakes always taste fresh. She's also known for her award winning butter tarts. She also did my son's birthday cake which was a customized cake order. (3 tier cake with 3 different flavours) Carla is so passionate about what she does and it shows through her baking. I am a loyal fan and now very dedicated friend (I'm a regular at her shop)

Have a friend that raves about Cupcake Goodness. Today I went to the Oshawa’s Farmers Market, by accident, and was delighted to see CG set up. A little late as he was nearly sold out but managed to grab a bag of plain croissants for my Saturday morning breakfast. Let me start by saying I usually only eat one at breakfast. After the first few bites, I had a second one in the toaster oven warming up my next! I love these croissants because they are heavier. Sounds strange, right? Hear me out. One of my typical complaints about croissants is the that they are so hollow I feel ripped off. CG croissants have substance. Flakey bits still break off the top and fall to the plate like we all enjoy and easily scooped up by the touch of a delicate finger, but, there’s some buttery thickness to this delicious treat that left me very happy. Perfect start to my Saturday! Now .. I must go check out those amazing sweet treats I saw …

This bakery is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with the warm and welcoming aroma of freshly baked goods. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and they are happy to assist you with your order. Their baked goods are simply amazing. The coconut cream pie I ordered for the special occasion family get-together was smooth, creamy, and full of rich coconut flavor. The crust was perfectly baked and provided a delicious contrast to the silky filling. And the fruit tray was fresh, juicy, and beautifully arranged, with a great selection of fruits that were in season. What I appreciate most about this bakery is that they always deliver on their promise to provide high-quality baked goods and excellent customer service. Whether you're picking up a quick treat for yourself or ordering for a large group, you can be confident that you'll receive nothing but the best. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for delicious baked goods and a fantastic customer experience.

I had to check out her store front after trying some treats at a farmers market this past summer. Definitely worth it. I managed to make it to the store just as she was closing and luckily she stayed open so I could buy cupcakes I wanted for a family celebration on the weekend. The service was great and the cupcakes were even better. So delicious. I bought the last 11 in the case which was a nice variety. They were a hit with my family. My favourite was the chocolate. Highly recommend others to visit Cupcake Goodness. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks again

Ice cream shop

Baskin-Robbins, a vibrant ice cream franchise renowned for its vast assortment of flavors as well as sorbet and yogurt offerings, is widely recognized as a go-to destination for birthday cakes. The establishment consistently delivers exceptional creations, with this year's cake being particularly delightful. It is evident that the skilled staff put forth tremendous effort in crafting such an outstanding confectionary masterpiece.
I ordered an ice cream birthday cake today from your location at 4160 Baldwin Street in Whitby. The phone was answered with the bright and cheerful voice of your employee named Debbie. She proceeded to take my order and was one of the most helpful and friendly people I have ever dealt with. At the same time she was also very professional. It is such a pleasure to deal with employees like Debbie. Thank you.

Love ice cream on a hot day! But it seems like the ice cream was tooooo soft, which can be annoying because it just melted too quickly and ended up sharing half the ice cream cone with the sidewalk. From the moment it was scooped it was a sloppy, drippy mess. The guy did say he was new, but the scoops were very messy and hard to deal with once on the come; also when to be reminded of the cherry flavour they carry, he mentioned he didn’t know if they had cherry… I’ve worked customer service for a while and it’s just a due diligence to know the menu flavours incase a customer ask, but that wasn’t too big a deal and he had a great demeanour and attitude the entire time. My partner got cookies and cream which wasn’t in the display yet and coldness of that ice cream was what EVERY ice cream flavour needed to be, I can’t get over the ice cream being too soft and the pictures can easily show what I’m talking about. A little disappointed but what I enjoyed was great because again, who doesn’t even something cold on a hot day.

I came here after a dinner out with my family of 5. It did not disappoint. The store was bright and clean. Very inviting. Also has places to sit and eat your ice cream. They honoured the coupons we had and were polite. Recommend going here for ice cream. With its unique flavours and many of them along with traditional flavour, I highly recommend this Baskin Robins!

I was here with my boyfriend the other day. I’ve never been here before, I had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream (1 scoop) and I really enjoyed it! It was such a big scoop , I couldn’t finish it lol. The line was super long for a minute but the staff attended to everyone pretty quickly. Even with the Covid restrictions (4 people in the store max.) they were able to attend to everyone without keeping us waiting

Ice cream was pretty good — can’t complain about the quality or taste. Unfortunately, they got the order wrong and the woman working there came off a bit rude when we mentioned it. Not a total dealbreaker, but enough to knock down the experience. Probably wouldn’t rush back, but not the worst either.

Yesterday we purchased a Father’s Day birthday cake and I asked for 10-15 spoons but they literally charged me for the spoons and we r not allowed to give 10 spoons.which s really bad. We r spend 60$ for a cake at ur shop and you ppl can’t give 10 spoons for your customers that’s really bad

I’m giving this place 5 stars because of Debbie ! It’s not my first time at this location but it was the first time I felt the need to make sure an employee needed to be recognized. I came here with my family which including children. She was patient, kind and so empathetic. Thank you so much Debbie. You embody the definition of customer service.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this is the second time I’ve had a disappointing experience here. Most of the girls working at this location were extremely rude—no smiles, no basic courtesy—and treated us like we didn’t belong. It genuinely felt like we were being singled out, possibly because I’m brown. I’ve lived in Canada for many years, and this is the first time I’ve experienced such consistently unpleasant behavior. We came here to enjoy ourselves and lighten the mood, not to feel worse. That said, I do want to acknowledge the one positive: the male staff member working on the evening of July 14, 2025, around 8 PM. He was kind, respectful, and professional—something the rest of the staff could learn from. Unfortunately, based on repeated negative experiences, I will try to avoid coming back. While one person’s kindness matters, it doesn’t outweigh the overall environment of disrespect I felt.
