Roselle Desserts is a charming bakery located in Corktown, Toronto, known for its creative twists on traditional pastries and delightful crêpes, tea, and coffee. The bakery was founded by pastry chef Stephanie Duong and her partner Bruce Lee in 2015. Duong's background includes experience at the three-Michelin-starred Regis et Jacques Marcon in France and other impressive roles in France and Hong Kong.
Definitely one of the best pastry shops in Toronto. I’ve tried their Earl Grey and Strawberry Parfait, and I prefer the vanilla-based soft serve from the parfait over the Earl Grey. I’m not saying their Earl Grey isn’t good, but I would prefer a more pronounced taste of Earl Grey. That said, both soft serves come with an amazing texture, mouthfeel, and the perfect level of sweetness. I’ve also tried their Pistachio and Strawberry cake cups, both very nice. I appreciate that Rosella keeps their desserts in a well-balanced sweetness, allowing me to taste the different ingredients dancing together in the cup. They didn’t put cake in the pistachio one; instead, they used puff pastry. I am not a big fan of it, but I do think it’s a good choice, as it goes super well with their amazing pistachio cream. I find their Madeleine a bit dry, but I think I taste almond flour in it, which makes the taste less flat. I’ll definitely try other items from them in the future.

4/5 Amazing little bakery/pastry shop in Leslieville Toronto The Earl 10/10 🙌🏼 Maple Black Walnut Honey Cake 9/10 🙌🏼 Earl Grey Shortbread Cookies 10/10 🙌🏼 These are just some of the treats I tried and they were incredible 4/5 stars because of price it’s not exactly wallet friendly especially when you are ordering large quantities of treats I spent around 57$ on 6 items 🫣 Earl Grey Soft serve is what they are most known for in the summer months but everything they make is made with the best ingredients and the quality is not your typical margarine whip overly sweet kind of dessert it’s definitely worth a visit or two Their hours make it tricky for those outside of Toronto to get their hands on their products as they are only open a few days a week with limited hours and products that run out fast! I still loved my desserts I will be back for their earl grey soft serve 🍦🫖💕

Absolutely outstanding patisserie. Every visit to Roselle feels like a little celebration of taste — their desserts are crafted with remarkable precision, creativity, and genuine passion. The eclairs, mille-feuille, and their signature Earl Grey soft-serve are all executed to perfection. You can sense the French training behind every detail, from textures to balance of flavors. The space is bright and inviting, the staff always kind and attentive, and everything feels thoughtfully designed. Easily one of the best dessert spots in Toronto — refined, consistent, and worth every visit.

I had the fraisier, Earl grey mousse and a slice of mango passion fruit sponge cake. They were all good but I thought overpriced for what they were. Tasted good… but not amazing. The service was nice. I’ve been there for their soft serve with strawberries sundae and it was good but, again, I found it more expensive than what I thought it was worth.
Cathy B — Google review
Roselle doesn’t just do desserts, they do works of art you can eat — and “Next Level” soft serve is exactly that. Imagine Earl Grey tea got dressed up for a Michelin-star gala, then decided to throw in a zesty lemon surprise just to keep things playful. The swirl itself is impossibly creamy, perfumed with tea in the most delicate, elegant way. Then they go ahead and crown it with lemon curd, crisp pearls that crunch like tiny fireworks, and a buttery sable cookie just to remind you they’re not messing around. Every bite had me questioning if I should slow down to savor… or speed up before someone tried to steal it. Verdict: gone in minutes. This isn’t just ice cream. This is Next Level living. Would 100% recommend — bring a friend, but order your own because sharing is not realistic.

I live an hour away and roselle is most certainly worth the trek to this neighborhood. I wish they had longer hours. My fav things are the soft serve , the earl grey cake and the banana eclairs are to die for! The flavours are just perfect and not sickingly sweet. I thin the joke is they try and cater to Asian palates. I also appreciate how they partner with local producers for seasonal fruit items. I tried the corn cake on Friday and it was so unique and delicious. I dream about Roselle and it is my favourite bakery in Toronto !

Roselle is a hidden gem tucked into the heart of Corktown. It's my favourite go-to dessert spot in the neighbourhood, and often claims a lineup down the street (but don't worry, it moves fast). The Earl Grey ice cream and birthday cake cups are my personal favourites.
Ala O — Google review
Ordered the 9inch earl grey cake from roselle for the first time and let me tell you, it was the BEST earl grey cake I’ve had in my entire life. It’s so worth the price and my boyfriend and his friends really really enjoyed it. Everyone asked where I got it from. Will definitely be returning for future birthday orders 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Bang Bang Ice Cream & Bakery is a popular spot on Ossington known for its excellent ice cream sandwiches. The shop offers a variety of options, including housemade cookies, cups, cones, and to-go tubs in a charming white and pale-wood space. With gluten-free and vegan choices available, there's something for everyone. The location is ideal, and the shop often stays open past closing time during the summer months.
Been here a few times now and snapped a photo when I was trying out their different flavours. What makes this place special is they actually make the ice cream from scratch, it’s not just shipped in like a lot of other spots. There’s usually a lineup on weekends, but it moves quickly (15–20 minutes tops). The staff are super friendly, explain the flavours really well, and help you pick if you’re not sure. They’ve got a huge range, with little notes about the taste and ingredients, which is a nice touch. My personal favourites: MUD, WTF, and Tiramisu. The Ontario Cherry is great too if you’re into that fruity vibe (not savoury). The only one we didn’t enjoy as much was the mango. Didn’t get a chance to try their waffle cone but that’s on the list for the next time lol 😆. Pro tip: after your ice cream, grab a coffee from Pilot Roasters next door! it’s the perfect combo. ☕🍦

Our favourite ice cream spot in the city! Have been too many times to count. Definitely worth the wait, there is always a line up for a reason. Love that they change up the menu every so often so we can try new flavours.
Monique N — Google review
some of the uniquest flavors i've seen! went on a friday afternoon (around 1 PM) and there wasn't any line. got one scoop cinnamon toast and another with the niocolla e cicollata with peanut butter. the cinnamon one was alright at first but tasted just like milk when melted. the peanut butter one was good but nothing special. the nicolla e ciocollata was astounding! incredibly delicious and tasted like kinder bueno. the quality of the ice cream was great and evidently cared for, but a bit on the pricey side. staff were pleasant and kind. scoop size varies, the 4oz one being a bit on the smaller end considering the price. overall, a nice spot, but maybe a bit hyped up :)

Bang Bang Ice Cream & Bakery on Ossington is one of those Toronto gems that you just have to try at least once. The place has this cool, slightly retro vibe that fits perfectly with the area — laid-back, artsy, and buzzing with people almost every evening. Their ice cream flavours are honestly some of the most creative you’ll find anywhere in the city. Every time I go, there’s something new on the board — from quirky mixes like burnt toffee, matcha-honeycomb, and London fog, to more experimental flavours that you’d never expect to work but somehow do. You can tell there’s a lot of thought and creativity behind each combination. The cookie sandwiches are a whole experience on their own — freshly baked, chewy, and the perfect texture to pair with the creamy ice cream. You can mix and match flavours and really make it your own, which is part of what makes the place fun. It’s the kind of spot that feels a little nostalgic, a little adventurous, and definitely indulgent. That said, something about it still feels like it’s missing that final touch. Maybe it’s the atmosphere — it can feel a bit too busy and rushed at times. The lineups are no joke, especially on weekends or summer evenings. You could easily wait 20–30 minutes just to get to the counter, and by the time you do, you might feel a bit too hurried to really enjoy choosing your flavours. I also find it a bit on the pricier side for what it is, especially if you go for the cookie sandwich or one of the bigger combos. Still, Bang Bang deserves the hype for its creativity and bold flavours. It’s not your average ice cream shop — it’s an experience that keeps people curious and coming back. If you don’t mind a bit of a wait and want to try something that’s both familiar and surprising at the same time, it’s definitely worth a visit. Just maybe plan to go earlier in the day or on a weekday if you want to skip the long lines.
Kal S — Google review
Worth the hype! Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The Totoro had an amazing flavor and texture. The roasted pineapple custard was well balanced and tasted like an elevated Dole whip. Friendly staff and the line moves quick. Update: Still the best ice cream in the city. Every flavor I've tried is so unique. The cinnamon milk reminded me of childhood, and the London fog had a pleasantly strong tea flavor.

Expect a long line, but know it’s worth it! We had 1. Burnt toffee and peanut butter cup ice creams on a Captain P’nut (Sat only) and Gingerrrr cookie. 2. Soursop and Ontario Cherry & Milkjam ice creams on salted chocolate chip cookies. I thought all the cookies had good flavor and a nice chewy texture. The burnt toffee ice cream was easily my favorite. Note: You can order half an ice cream sandwich. One of us was more than satisfied after eating half…I was not that one!
JENNIFER D — Google review
I loved the ice cream here! I usually don’t review ice cream spots because there are lots of places that have been experimenting with interesting flavours but this is probably one of my favourite places so far- not sure if something else will satisfy me more in the future. But I tried the lo yogurt one and the banana pudding one and it really hit the spot. I also think the portion is perfect! Just enough and you can try enough flavours. I’m excited to come back to try more flavours
Emily L — Google review
I tried their mango pudding ice cream on a local’s recommendation, and she wasn’t wrong this is a must-try ice cream shop! It was a Monday afternoon, yet the crowd was crazy. No wonder it’s so famous! The ice cream was fresh, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and there was a great variety to choose from.

Nadège Patisserie is a charming French-inspired pastry boutique with multiple locations in the city. It offers an exquisite selection of confections, including croissants, cakes, and a pastel rainbow of macarons displayed behind glass counters. The bakery is renowned for its perfectly delicate and irresistible macarons, available in both traditional and unique flavors like cotton candy, cappuccino, and rose.
The employee who served us was so friendly, kind, and patient! She answered all our questions! Sorry I didn't get her name, but she was truly fantastic! Thank you for the wonderful service! 🥰🥰🥰 The desserts are delicious, and they look so pretty! You have to stop in and try something! And the Rose Vanilla Latte was perfect!! Can't wait to try the cakes next! 🤗🤗🤗

Totally fell in love with this place! 💕 The cappuccino was velvety and full of flavor, the pesto croissant was such a fun twist — buttery, flaky, and deliciously different. The dark chocolate? Pure bliss! 🍫✨ The vibe here is super chill and aesthetic — perfect little nook near Trinity-Bellwoods to sip, snack, and unwind. So many drool-worthy desserts to choose from! 😍☕️🥐

Such a cute little French dessert spot on Queen West! From the beautifully branded pints to the cozy patio seating, everything was super aesthetic. The dark chocolate ice cream with gluten-free biscuit was rich and decadent, and the macaron flavour was so fun. Follow @sippinginsix for more hidden gems like this! 🍦💕

When I first stumbled upon Nadege on Queen West in 2010, I had no idea I was about to walk into a place that would become so much more than a pastry shop to me. Back then, it felt like a breath of fresh air—a modern, clean haven offering a dazzling variety of delicious creations. I quickly learned that the magic behind it all was Nadège Nourian, a fourth-generation French pastry chef from Lyon. Knowing her family's rich history made every bite feel like a connection to a long, beautiful tradition of craftsmanship. Over the years, this place has become a constant in my life. It's where I go for the intricate layers of the Marie Antoinette cake, a true masterpiece of flavour and texture. The individual donut cakes are a sweet, delightful indulgence, and the canelés—my absolute must-have—are a perfect symphony of crispy, caramelized shell and soft, custardy center. They are the simple, elegant pastries I always return to, a little taste of perfection every time. But Nadege is more than just pastries. It’s a wonderful spot for a light breakfast, a quick snack, or a delicious small sandwich. It has been a quiet witness to so many moments, both big and small, in my life. Every visit feels like coming home, and with each canelé, I'm reminded of the simple joy of discovering something truly special. It’s a place that not only satisfies my cravings but also touches my heart with its unwavering commitment to beauty and flavour.
Ali K — Google review
Nadège Patisserie is the kind of place that makes you pause mid-stride on Queen Street, as though the universe just whispered, “Yes, you deserve a treat today.” The moment you step in, you’re greeted not just by pastries, but by an atmosphere that hums quietly with intention — polished, deliberate, and effortlessly chic. The gleam of the glass cases, the careful arrangement of mini cakes and macarons, the soft clink of spoons against ceramic teacups — it all feels like a small, delicious theater. Every pastry is a performance. The croissants are flaky, buttery crescendos that yield in layers with a whisper, the macarons are jewel-like, pastel oases of almond and ganache, and the cannelés — oh, the cannelés — they are caramelized, tender little cylinders that somehow manage to be both humble and transcendent. Each bite feels like it’s been choreographed for maximum delight, and you find yourself pausing to savor the artistry before diving in again. If you’re seeking a patisserie that feels both intimate and grand, playful and precise, Nadège is it. Pop in for a single macaron or plan an afternoon around a tiered mini cake indulgence — either way, you’ll leave feeling that the world is a little sweeter, and maybe a little more beautiful, than it was when you walked in.
Sergei K — Google review
Nadège Patisserie is a dream! We had a danish and the most incredible lemon tart, both were absolutely delicious. A must-visit for pastry lovers!
Bia L — Google review
The cheesecake tasted really off, almost sour like it was about to go bad. Macarons also tasted old, like they’ve been sitting for days. For more than $40 you’d expect some quality. Wouldn’t even eat this if I got it for free. Used to love this spot. Yikes
Robert A — Google review
The place has maintained very high standards for food. I’ve always loved to drop a visit at Nadége because of their amazing croissants. Surprisingly, today I was told by the hardworking team that the payment policies of Nadége have changed and that they don’t accept cash any further. But as per my request, they did make an exception and I truly appreciated their support. I wish there was a different rating option for staff so I could rate them good. But for the restaurant, I think they’re degrading their customer experience by removing a 100% Legal Tender - Cash in their payment policies. This indirectly shows that they do not value the customers who want to pay through cash instead of debit / credit cards. Some people don’t want the big corporates (Banks) to handle their hardworking money, which is completely fair and sensible. I do also understand that it’s legal for private business owners to make their own payment policies. A big wrong move by Nadége in my opinion. I don’t know what was the idea behind this, but doesn’t seem a good one.

Eva's Original Chimneys is a dessert shop located in Toronto, offering a unique and delightful experience for anyone with a sweet tooth. They specialize in Hungarian funnel cakes known as Kurtoskalacs or Trdelnik, which are hand-rolled and baked-to-order using only 7 natural and mostly-organic ingredients. The signature creation, the Chimney Cakes, is a traditional Hungarian pastry that comes in various flavors including dairy vanilla or vegan vanilla.
Okay, so l'm a little late on this, but @ogchimneys has the bombest chimney cakes ever! If you don't know what they are, they're basically these hollow, bread-like pastries that are baked fresh and filled with delicious stuff. Eva's even lets you add ice cream to them! We tried their crème brûlée cone, which was super popular, and it was amazing. We also had the tiramisu flavor, and it was equally awesome. Just a heads up, these cones are huge, so don't try to eat one by yourself unless you're a total pro. We were struggling to finish 4 cones for 4 people!
Ritwika B — Google review
The wait was really long, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The chimbit looks impressive in size, but the taste was underwhelming—it reminded me of burnt bread with a cinnamon sugar coating. We tried the s’mores and apple pie flavours, but neither stood out. We also got the birthday cake cone, which had a small cake piece on top that was actually good. The ice cream itself tasted similar to the kind you’d get at IKEA—so, nothing special or worth $10. The marshmallow surprise at the bottom was more of a letdown than a treat, and the cone has a strong, unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, not worth the wait or the price. Do give it a shot if you like fried-food-kind-of-treats with cinnamon I guess? Lol
Muskan — Google review
In my opinion the chimneys are worth the hype. The crispy cinnamon covered chimney complimented some of the best soft serve I've had in a while. I like that it's not overly sweet and has different texture than a regular cone. I found staff to be very patient and the person making the cones really took her time and made special effort to create a masterpiece each time. I will be back - maybe next time we'll try a shake - there are so many flavor options.
Davina R — Google review
Great ice cream and desserts options! I always try something different off of their menu and all is delicious! Great location as well!
Duaa W — Google review
Hand-made chimney cones and a lot of incredible toppings combinations will make it difficult for you to decide what to order. We had a Tiramisu chimney cone, The DREAM Eva's signature sundae and a Dubai Chocolate Cone. All were delicious! this is a great option, especially for this time of the year. If you are visiting Port Credit you should definitely try this place. You can see through the glass how they are making the cones, that is part of the experience, the smell is also very appealing.
Jaime L — Google review
There are many options of ice cream. Always try something different at Eva's. Chimney cones made freshly. Delicious ice cream.
Robbi C — Google review
I ordered the Dubai chocolate cone, which I’ve enjoyed before at Eva’s Chimney in Square One. That version was soft, perfectly balanced, and not overly coated in chocolate. Unfortunately, my experience at the Port Credit location was disappointing. Not only did I not receive the actual Dubai cone I ordered, but the cone I received was quite hard and tasted more like stale bread. I believe it would be better not to advertise it as the “Dubai cone” if it’s not the same product.

They offer a wide variety of treats, from cakes and cookies to bars and other desserts. I was particularly keen to try their pies, but unfortunately, they were sold out by the time we arrived. This speaks to their popularity, so I'd recommend arriving early for the best selection. Despite missing out on the pie, I was still impressed with the other options available. I especially enjoyed their date squares, which were both sweet and chewy.

This is a good place to stop in for especially to take out and walk around the Kensington market or bringing home or for a gift. Place is clean and products are properly merchandised without any cross contamination. Products are tasty but a little on the pricy side. Overall for the gluten free audience this is a great place. If you don’t need their specific food requirements it would make more sense to try alternatives.

Wow soo many options ! I tried a cupcake and this jalapeño cheddar scone, miam ! Not dry at all, flavourful, I wish we had that shop in Montreal ! Everything is vegan and gf 🥰

We hired Bunner's to make a gluten free and vegan cake for our wedding and had an amazing experience! They were so easy to work with, and created a cake with the exact vision I had in mind. It also tasted amazing - Bunner's makes the BEST gluten free and vegan desserts, and I am so glad we used them for our wedding! We highly recommend them as a wedding vendor!

Bunner’s Bakeshop is honestly such a gem! I love that everything here is gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free it’s such a relief knowing you don’t have to double-check or worry about what’s in your food. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, and you can really tell they care about what they do. Everything I’ve tried has been super good fresh, flavourful, and made with love. Definitely one of my favourite spots for a treat I can actually feel good about!

Incredible Experience with Bunners! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Hannah from Bunners for our vegan, gluten-free wedding cake, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Hannah made the entire process fun, stress-free, and truly reflective of Bunners’ warm and vibrant brand personality. Not only was the cake stunning to look at, but it was hands-down one of the best vegan gluten-free desserts we’ve ever tasted—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The creativity, attention to detail, and love that went into every step of the process really showed. Bunners exceeded every expectation, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating such a special day without them. If you’re looking for a cake that’s as delicious as it is memorable, Bunners is the one!

Nestled in a cozy space with minimalist decor, Butter Baker Market Café is a French-style bakery that celebrates the city's multiculturalism. Their delectable selection includes unique treats like The Earl Grey, Dalgona Coffee Cake, and Matchamisu alongside handcrafted croissants, danishes, and macarons from their sister brand.
I’ve been going here for years and it has never disappointed me. I love the monthly ice cream flavours and they are gorgeous!! The food was amazing. The waffles were so light but also the perfect texture. The syrup was also super light and enjoyable. I recommend everyone to come here

Absolutely loved our visit to Butter Baker! 💛 I brought my mom to try their new menu, and we were both blown away. I had the Baker’s Breakfast — eggs, crispy potatoes, and toast — all perfectly cooked and super comforting. My mom tried the yuzu chicken and waffles, and let me tell you… those waffles were the best! Gluten-free, buttery, and perfectly crispy — she loved every bite. We also got to try their desserts: the caramel apple butter waffles were warm, cozy, and delicious, plus a slice of their house-baked banana bread that disappeared in seconds. To finish, we had the berry and custard soft serve, which we devoured even though we were full — totally worth it. We also enjoyed drinks — I had an iced matcha latte, and my mom got a hojicha latte. Both were smooth and flavorful. The food, drinks, and cozy vibes make this spot a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back! 🧇🍵🍦

We visited here for a Saturday brunch here and had an amazing time. The moment you enter through the market door, you’re fascinated with all the beautiful handcrafted local goodies. From jewelry, candles, party decorations to home decor and kitchen accessories, they have many cute options. Their café menu includes many great options from brunch menu to desserts and drinks. They have so many unique and creative cakes, waffles and brunch options. We ordered “Grilled Chorizo Croissant Benedict” and “Spicy Chicken Waffle” from brunch menu, “Mango Waffles & Crème” and “Raspberry & Pistachio Cake Slice” from the desserts menu and finally “Mocha” and “Matchamisu Cold Foam” from drinks menu. Everything was fresh and tasty. The spicy chicken waffle was the great combination of Korean fried chicken and waffles. The Grilled Chorizo Croissant Benedict was unique and flavourful. The Raspberry & Pistachio Cake Slice was one of the best cakes I have ever had; perfect level of sweetness. Mocha was beautifully designed and matchamisu was very creative. The staff are very friendly and make sure you have the best experience.

This is one of my favourite brunch spots in the city! Their chicken & waffles is my go to order & we love that we can end our meal off with a sweet treat. Their monthly soft serve is a must but their seasonal waffles with vanilla gelato is great. For fall, we tried the caramel apple butter waffle which was divine. The service is always great!

I first tried the shoft serve over the summer and was immediately obsessed. When I found out they have a cafe and brunch options I had to visit! The waffles are absolutely incredible. I tried both the savoury and sweet options. Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Will definitely be back to try more!

Bought one 8” winter berries cake, the cream was so soft and lots of berries. Very nice cake. Their matcha cookie is must try item. The staffs are all friendly and helpful. Love this place.

finally tried some brunch at butter baker, I’ve had their ice cream of the month before but wanted to try the food. we both got waffles - one savoury and one sweet and the waffles themselves were honestly very mid, not too fluffy or soft. the strawberry topping was also nothing special on the sweet ones. I got the honey garlic chicken and waffles and they used a mix of white and dark meat for the kaarage which was good, as well as the flavours of this together. the stand out were the fried potato home fries as a side. they were soo perfectly crispy and seasoned, they hit really well. and the ketchup had a certain tang to it too - would have those again. I also had the mango lassi ice cream flavour in a cup and it was so refreshing and creamy and tasty. a 10/10 on the mango.
Brianna M — Google review
I had the strawberry frozen yogurt soft serve. It was a mix of strawberry and vanilla with freeze dried strawberries sprinkled on it. It was absolutely the best soft serve I've ever had in my life. I spent the entire time eating in total shock over how amazing it was. They rotate the flavours monthly. I'm going to go back every month to try whatever the current flavour is. I went back and got June's flavour, Pina colada. Also excellent but not quite as perfect as the strawberry was. July's blueberry and panna cotta was also exceptional. August's Mango Lassi was good as expected but maybe not as strong as the previous month's. I think it might be better to get just the mango instead of the swirl with frozen yogurt. Also the mango falls off very easily, so make sure you eat that right away! The sidewalk outside is covered in mango slices that fell off people's cones. Septembers' passion fruit, orange, guava mixed with vanilla is excellent as expected. Super fresh and fruity tropical taste. This might be one where you skip the mix and get just the fruit flavour. November's apple pie was excellent! I also tried a double chocolate cookie which was good, but nothing exceptional.

Aux Merveilleux de Fred is a delightful French pastry shop located in Toronto, known for its exquisite Les Merveilleux pastries. These light and airy treats consist of layers of meringue and whipped cream, often finished with chocolate shavings or a dusting of powdered sugar. The bakery prides itself on using traditional French techniques and high-quality ingredients to create an authentic dessert experience that transports you straight to France.
Ordered a croissant and two of these delicious round chocolate truffles of yum. 5-Star experience. The place is busy but worth the wait. We luckily grabbed the last seat and chowed down on our desserts for brunch. Love that they take such pride in their baked goods. It's incredibly fresh and we loved everything on the menu.

Found this cute random bakery café while walking down Queen Street. Loved the cozy vibe, the smell of fresh bread, and the super friendly staff. Ordered two iced coffees, a chicken curry sandwich, and a ham & cheese sandwich. Everything was nice, though the sandwich bread was a bit cold and not the best. 😉

Tasty little treats and baked goods. Amazing interior with a very nice comfortable atmosphere. You can see into the bakery where some of the baked goods are made. Very friendly staff. Fresh items throughout the day. Clean facility. Clean washrooms. No credit card surcharge. Very expensive for items.

Beautiful patisserie with chic vibes and premium pricing. This spot has a stylish, elegant atmosphere and beautifully presented pastries. My latte was good, though at $8 for a large (with an upcharge for alternative milk based on drink size), it’s definitely on the pricier side. Worth a visit if you’re looking for an upscale café experience — just be prepared for boutique pricing.

Dessert restaurant
Ice cream shop
D Spot Dessert Cafe in Toronto is a game-changer when it comes to desserts. They offer an extensive menu of homemade ice cream, cakes, and the finest Belgian chocolate. The portions are huge, with waffles that can be shared by 3-4 people. The 'Heaven on Earth Waffle' is rich and decadent with soft brownie bits and high-quality ice cream. However, some recommend checking the menu beforehand due to its extensive offerings.
We came in just for coffee, but thanks to Liza, who guided us with such kindness, we discovered the best desserts and had a wonderful meal. She really helped us make the right choices and made our experience unforgettable. Thank you so much, Liza! It’s for sure not the last time we’ll be coming here.

Really appreciate their service and ambiance but the dessert wasn't worth it. I ordered a crepe with chocolate ice cream (don't exactly remember the name). Presentation was great but it was extremely sweet and the crepe had a rubbery texture which made it hard to chew. I really hope they work on their desserts. Rest of the things were satisfactory. The staff was very polite and their service was also really good 👍🏻

Popped in for a birthday treat to myself. This place is great as a concept but poorly executed. No atmosphere, no music. For a place that prompts birthday and fun celebrations non of that could be found. We sat in a booth, the seats are either second hand or should have been replaced about 5 years ago. The chocolate cake was ok, they add a sauce over it that I would have preferred to do myself. I think it hid a dry side from being in the fridge. We also had a crepe - this definitely did not feel freshly made. It was touch and felt like it was a premade crepe for the weekend. Their milkshake was good tho! Sadly I don’t think I’ll be returning here. They have to many offerings and not able to meet the mark on simple things.

I had a sweet craving yesterday and decided to visit D Spot with two of my friends since it’s the closest dessert spot around. We were really impressed by the variety on the menu — everything looked so tempting! However, the experience was a bit mixed. The service and atmosphere could definitely use improvement. One of the employees was loudly singing and yelling, which made the environment feel unprofessional. The seating area was also a little uncomfortable — the seats were sticky and not well-maintained. I ordered the Pistachio and Dark Chocolate Cake and the Ferrero Rockers Cookie with extra chocolate and extra vanilla ice cream. Both desserts were incredibly sweet and flavorful — absolutely delicious, though quite heavy. I couldn’t finish my dish, but it was worth the try! Overall, it’s a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth at least once. The desserts truly hit the spot, but the ambiance and service could be better

I should have walked out the moment I saw the torn up seats and leaky air conditioner, but the high reviews and my companion’s praise for the place made me give it a chance. Big mistake. We ordered nachos, and as we were nearly finished, I found green mold growing on the cheese. Not a tiny speck... MOLD. Now I’m at home, violently throwing up. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Management comped the nachos, but still charged us for drinks we never touched after seeing the mold., which says everything you need to know. This place is the definition of poor management and money-hungry ownership.
Abeesh T — Google review
This has been one of the worst dessert places I’ve visited. I’ve been to many other spots, and even if the service isn’t always perfect elsewhere, they still look cleaner and more welcoming than this one. The tables and booths are very old and not well maintained, the booths especially look so dirty that it’s uncomfortable to sit on them. The place also feels very hot inside with no proper air conditioning, and overall it doesn’t look clean. The entire store is in need of serious renovation. The customer service also needs improvement. One of the staff members with long braided hair never smiles and makes it seem like she dislikes serving customers and they take a decade to serve you the dessert, they need to hire more people. The portion sizes of the cakes have gotten smaller compared to before, and sometimes they even serve cakes that don’t taste fresh. It’s disappointing because this used to be a nice spot, but now it feels like they’re losing customers, including me and my family, because the place is not kept up properly.
Simple U — Google review
This used to be my go to dessert spot but the quality of the food has gone considerably down. I used to enjoy this restaurant for the tasty in house melted chocolate, generous portions and moist cakes. It is no longer the place I enjoyed. The cake was dry and inedible, the chocolate/pistachio sauce was completely watered down with no taste at all. I ended up being unable to eat the dish I ordered because it was so unappetizing. It looked lovely but the taste was just very very bad. I brought it up to the supervisor on site and they gave me a 15% discount which was nice but I didn’t even eat the crepe I ordered it ended up being thrown out by the restaurant (I refused to eat it. It was very very gross). My friend ended up getting the milk cake which they enjoyed and I got the crepe with cake inside and pistachio/chocolate sauce on the outside. It cost about $44 for 2 desserts with taxes not including tip. Another thing to note was that this downtown dessert restaurant was completely empty. I am assuming it’s due to the poor quality of the food. Won’t be going again and hope they make changes. This place used to be awesome.

Ive never been to a dine in dessert spot that gives you menus to look through. It's like 12 pages of desserts. I had the cookie batter milkshake and it was great. My mom had the cookies and cream ice cream in a cone and said the waffle cone itself really stood out.

Uncle Tetsu's Japanese Cheesecake is a bakery dedicated to Japanese-style cheesecakes. You can order different flavours of their Original Cheesecake, available in 7" sizes with chocolate or matcha as additional flavour options. The bakery also offers cakes through Uber Eats.
This review is intended strictly for the tarts- we had the salted caramel mochi cheese tart and it was phenomenal… we ordered the fluffy cheesecake it tasted like flavorless fluff. If we ever go back it would be to try out the other flavors of tarts they have.

When we first walked into the store, it smelled amazing! We decided on getting the original cheesecake. Some flavours, such as matcha, are only available on specific days of the week. Quick service despite a bit of a line. Once we got home, we noticed that they had given us a free tart in a separate bag marked ‘gift’, which was very sweet! ☺️ The cheesecake was soft, creamy, airy and not too sweet. The tarts had a sweet filling on the bottom. We had it with warm indian chai, went well together and very filling. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a lighter, not too sweet cheesecake!

I've had Uncle Tetsu's across various locations in the city. They're fairly consistent. Wished the cheese tart was a little warmer and it would've been perfect. Located in the Atrium on Bay. Not a sit down place. No hassle. Just grab, go, and enjoy!

Always love stepping into an Uncle Tetsu shop and take in the fresh sweet baking. This new location really suits them well - aesthetic, space and transparency, and you can tell it is reflected in their new prices (e.g., $14.75 for matcha cheesecake; $21 for half a dozen cheese tarts). In addition to matcha cheesecake, they now have a new flavour - very berry cheesecake and tart. It’s quite delicious. Although there are 2 entrances, line always starts on the Dundas entrance. For consideration, if there is some seating area, it would be perfect.

The best japanese cheese cakes ever. They have a very spacious work environment, so clean and organized. It's an open kitchen concept and you see how much goes into making their delicious desserts. Don't sleep on the tarts and ice cream. So good.

This Japanese Cheesecake has gone viral in Toronto and rightfully so because after trying it out myself, I think it definitely does live up to the hype!🙌 I had their newly launched seasonal Very Berry flavour Cheesecake and tarts which tasted amazing! Their Cheesecake had a spongy texture and wasn’t too sweet and sour like a regular cheesecake so it had a very balanced flavour and it tasted great! Everything is made fresh daily in a clean environment. I was extremely impressed by the customer service as the staff members were so kind and welcoming!💯

Wanda's Pie in the Sky is a cozy bakery located in Toronto's vibrant Kensington Market neighborhood. This charming establishment offers a variety of homestyle pies, cakes, and other delectable treats. It's a popular spot for dessert lovers, known for its mouthwatering pies like Black Forest, Chocolate Banana, Rainbow, Lemon, and Mango Chiffon Cheesecake. Whether you're craving fruit pies, cream pies, or custard and nut pies, Wanda's has it all.
This place always has a warm, homey vibe to me whenever I visit. The staff are also warm and friendly. They have a wide selection of pies to choose from, as well as other pastries and even savoury food. I had a slice of the Wild Blueberry pie with a mocha. The pie was tasty. I like the texture of the dough. The blueberry filling is a bit tart, but not overwhelming. My only negative is it is a pretty expensive slice, and the portion is not the biggest. The mocha was also nice, and I liked the depth of the espresso flavour along with the chocolate.

They have the best apple crumble pie I’ve ever had!! There was no wait, service was pretty quick and they warmed up my apple pie. I also got the 6inch pumpkin pie, it was alright but I’ve had better and wouldn’t get it again. They had a really nice patio and plenty of seating, it was very pleasant. I look forward to coming back and trying their other yummy pies!
Vivian I — Google review
there are so many choices of pies and treats at wanda’s, but honestly i think the best thing you can get is the pear cheddar grilled cheese — IT WAS PRETTY DARN AMAZING. while the sourdough bread was grilled to a crunchy crispy perfection, the interior was full of warm, melty, gooey, mellow-tasting cheese; a generous amount of wonderfully softened sweet, fruity pear slices; and silky soft caramelized onions. it may not look like an impressive sandwich, but its super comforting and absolutely perfectly for fall. on the other hand, i don’t think wanda’s pies were super lifechanging. they weren’t super fresh, the crust wasn’t very buttery or prominent, and the fillings were just quite sweet and mushy — although it’s not like they were bAD pies. i tried the apple crumble pie, which was full of a strong tart apple flavour; the pumpkin pie, which was like a creamy and light mousse that didn’t have a very strong pumpkin/spice taste like i was expecting??? and the bottom felt a bit underbaked and soggy; the chocolate pecan pie, which was mostly a very syrup-like sweet paste with large chunks of nutty pecan to balance the sugariness; and the carrot cake, which was honestly very disappointing because the frosting was just way too thick and sweet for me. also, they didn’t have ice cream/whipped cream when i went, and my “heated” apple crumble pie was not really warm at all which was sad. there are also a LOT of bees and flies and birds flying if you’re dining in.
Katelynn C — Google review
Star of the show was the key lime pie. Just delicious! Really fun and eclectic vibe, suits the Kensington area well. Fun to eat pie while people watching out on the patio. There’s a piano inside where a patron was playing a silly little tune. I love places like this.

Cool place to grab a pie and a coffee in Kensington market. Staff are friendly and professional. It can be a bit hectic in the weekends, but the vibes are great. Come here for a good bite and cup of Joe.
Assaf G — Google review
Went there to try the World Series, Coconut Cream Pie, that Joe Carter had the morning before he won the baseball series for Toronto. I can see why...the crust was flaky and moist, the cream was light and delicate. The filling of the pie had the perfect sweetness too. Definetly a pie worthy of a championship title. Love Kensington Market atmosphere, with patio sitting in front of bakery. A couple of dine in seats as well. Layout of bakery was good and staff were pleasant. Definetly will be returning to try more of Wanda's pies.
Sally — Google review
I placed a custom order for a German Chocolate Cake (10”) for $70 + tax, and also picked up two small Coconut Cream Pies and a slice of Mango Cheesecake, spending around $130 in total. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with everything I tried. Since this is a local, artisanal bakery, I was expecting desserts made from scratch using pure ingredients, but that clearly wasn’t the case. The coconut filling on the German Chocolate Cake tasted artificial, more like a sugary, out of box, paste mixed with sweetened shredded coconut and pecans, rather than the traditional cooked filling made with butter, eggs, milk, and coconut. There was no depth of flavor, just a strange, dry, artificial icing-like texture. This was meant to be a 10” cake for a group of 10, but I had 15 people at my event, and as you can see from the photos, almost no one ate it. The Coconut Cream Pies were also very underwhelming, lacking flavour entirely. The Mango Cheesecake was the best of the bunch, but still nothing memorable. Overall, I was disappointed by both the taste and quality of the cakes and pies. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend anything from this bakery.

Ice cream shop
Restaurant
Dutch Dreams is a well-established ice cream parlor in Toronto, offering a wide variety of flavors, frozen yogurt, sundaes, and shakes. The parlour is known for serving ice cream the Dutch way with fresh whipped cream and fruit, as well as cotton candy. With over 25 years of history, this family-owned establishment on St. Clair Avenue West introduces new flavors annually. Popular options include the Toronto Traffic Jam and Baggas Cupboard.
If you're looking for an unforgettable ice cream experience, Dutch Dreams is the place! The portions are huge, the flavors are creative, and the toppings are absolutely over the top — in the best way possible. They even make their own fresh waffle cones, and you can really taste the difference — so good! The shop itself feels like a magical little world, full of fun decorations and a great vibe. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome even when it’s super busy. It's definitely a must-visit if you're in Toronto and have a sweet tooth!
TRACY D — Google review
For those who like to add interesting places to their list of places to visit, and also love having options for new ice cream shops, Dutch Dreams is definitely a place that should be visited. The ice cream shop is located in an old mansion that takes up every corner, and draws attention for being decorated with various items that remind us of childhood and the family's heritage, in addition to being a multicultural space, which carries the flags of different countries around the world. Structure: They have space to sit both inside and outside. They have easily accessible trash cans spread throughout the store, and in both spaces the circulation is calm. Menu: They have a wide variety of ice creams and versions of desserts with ice cream, as well as cones in all shapes. It is worth checking out the menu on the website, or taking a good look at the signs. Access: for those who are using a streetcar, they stop on the avenue and just walk one block. For those who are driving, the ice cream shop does not have its own parking lot, but there are paid parking lots on the street, as well as private parking lots. Tip: if you can visit during the week, it is a great option. On weekends, the store is usually very crowded, impossible to sit down, it takes a long time to order due to the line, and the mess that customers end up leaving on the floor. Pet-friendly: during the spring and summer, it is possible to visit the space with your pet, since the patio area is open.

I had the Banana Split and that was very good. A must try as long as you are committed. You get to pick 3 different flavours and the banana was very fresh and tasty. When I went there was a huge line up so expect to wait. I am not sure if there is any proper parking as I rode my bike there.

The coolest looking ice cream shop. They have crazy art inside and outside. The seating is carried and perfect to stop and enjoy a sweet treat. Their portions are huge and they decorate it with amazing toppings and cotton candy . I would like to try their fun cones!!

There’s nothing quite like the joy of creamy, refreshing ice cream served in a perfectly crunchy cone. The ice cream itself is rich, smooth, and packed with flavors that range from classic vanilla and chocolate to more adventurous options like pistachio, mango, and caramel swirl. Each bite melts in the mouth with a balance of sweetness and creaminess that feels absolutely indulgent. The cones are just as delightful—crispy, golden, and fresh, adding that satisfying crunch with every bite. Whether it’s a simple sugar cone, a buttery waffle cone, or a chocolate-dipped cone with sprinkles, the pairing of textures makes the experience even more enjoyable. Families, kids, and ice cream lovers of all ages can find happiness in this timeless treat. Perfect for a hot day or just as a sweet escape, ice cream in a cone is a classic that never disappoints.

Dutch Dreams Ice cream store is a one of a kind and original ice cream store that's been around since I was a kid growing in the area and actually born and raised around the area. It is unique and fashionably, and culturally decorated with its Dutch heritage decor. There are quite a variety of flavors, and all seem to be homemade flavors. They ice creams are also hand decorated as well, which definitely puts a unique touch to just a regular ice cream cone on a homemade style cone or even in a cup. The line-ups during the Summer months can be quite long at times as it is a very popular place and spot to get a variety of ice cream flavors plus other dessert treats (I had ice cream as curious about the flavours). I will have to come back to try the other menu items as well. It was very nice to know also that Drake had also visited the ice cream store, which appears to be a few years ago.

I noticed in the middle of my scoop, there was a small piece of peanut. I have no allergies so I am not complaining but it’s something to keep in mind if you do have allergies. 10/10 experience for me, regardless.

Well worth the wait. Been visiting since the original location up the street. The cone was done as great as always. Excellent selection of ice cream. Milk shale was delicious. If you live in. Toronto or just visiting this is a must visit. Highly recommend.

SOMA Chocolatemaker is a renowned high-end chocolate factory in Toronto, founded by Cynthia Leung and David Castellan in 2003. They are dedicated to innovating the art of chocolate making and have garnered international recognition for their exceptional products. The factory offers a wide range of artisanal treats, including gelato spun with fresh and natural ingredients, as well as handcrafted truffles that are considered their specialty.
This place is spectacular. I've been a few times now, and it has never disappointed me. The storefront itself is beautifully designed and arranged presenting the chocolate and other chocolate things nicely. The staff are lovely, and super helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend the Milk Old School, and just blindly getting a bunch of truffles. They're all delicious and you absolutely can't go wrong.

A Decadent Escape in the Fashion District Tucked in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Fashion District, this charming chocolate shop is a haven for anyone with a taste for the exquisite. From handcrafted truffles to artfully made specialty treats, every item reflects a deep commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The real standout, however, is the gelato and sorbet selection — rich, velvety, and full of bold, true-to-ingredient flavour. Whether you’re craving something indulgent like dark chocolate or something refreshing like a seasonal fruit sorbet, there’s something here to satisfy every palate. The shop itself is warm and inviting, with an elegant yet approachable atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to pop in for a quick treat, pick up a thoughtful gift, or simply enjoy a quiet moment of indulgence. A true gem for lovers of fine chocolate and frozen desserts, this boutique offers a taste of luxury in one of the city’s most stylish neighbourhoods.

Best chocolates ever!!! We love Soma Chocolates and buy it for Christmas gifts every year! This year we also ordered Soma Chocolate truffles as our wedding favours and they were delicious and the perfect touch to our wedding table tops! Also their in-store hot chocolate and gelato is incredible!

I'm so happy that we discovered Soma after our first visit to Perfect Leather Goods Ltd. Both places are the top in their respective fields. 😊 Soma chocolate is fantastic, rich, intense and refined. The hot chocolate is The Best hot chocolate. The truffles (chocolate) are devine, my favorite is the Gianduia. When i go there i always get and i recommend the Baci di Dama, the Zaletti ( are traditional cookies from Veneto a region in Italy)and the Soma Chips (think crispy cookies with almonds). I love the high quality and care of Soma products.

Soma has hands down the best hot chocolate in town! I love their spicy (Maya) hot chocolate which you would love if you give it a try. Their chocolate boxes are cute, so far I have tried the hot one the orange one ans the starry night (salty) with Newfoundland sea salt which makes it a great souvenir too I believe this branch doesn’t have their ice creams. I should mention that Bicerin is my favourite caffeinated drink from Soma
Bahar D — Google review
I had the dark chocolate and roasted white chocolate gelato. They’ve got stiff competition with many other great gelato and ice cream places around town m, and unfortunately, they don’t really stand up. However, it’s still a nice treat. The dark chocolate wasn’t anything notable, but the roasted white chocolate was nice.
Ue — Google review
There’s absolutely no doubt Soma Chocolatemaker serves the best hot chocolate. Rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, it’s a must-try for any chocolate lover. That said, I was a bit disappointed to receive my drink in a mug that had a visible lipstick stain on the rim. Not what you'd expect from a place with such high standards. I ended up asking for a takeaway cup instead. Tip: If you’re dining in, it might be worth giving your mug a quick check before diving in. The quality of the drink is outstanding, but a little more attention to cleanliness would go a long way in making the experience perfect.

Tsujiri Dundas is a cozy and lively spot located in Little Japan, at Bay and Dundas. This matcha dessert and teahouse originated in Kyoto and has expanded to North America with its first branch in Canada. The shop embraces Canadian aesthetics with furniture made from Douglas fir and maple while offering a variety of matcha-infused treats such as soft-serve ice cream, shaved ice, pastries, parfaits, floats, and more.
If you’re looking for a matcha dessert thats not too overly sweet, Tsujiri is the place to visit. The ice cream is rich in matcha flavour and slightly bitter which I really liked. I had the Shiratama Parfait which came with mochi, red bean and shiratama-jelly like noodles pieces that added a nice texture. It’s super refreshing especially on a hot summer day.
Maggie G — Google review
Amazing quality matcha. The first time we went, I got a matcha frappe. I’d rate it at around a 7/10, but I’m not a big fan of frappes in general. I also found it to be on the sweet side. The second time we went, I got a matcha float. This I’d rate at a 10/10. The ice cream was prominent (and even better when melted into the drink) and enriched the flavor throughout the drink. It was not too sweet but also not bitter, which is exactly what I was looking for. I have yet to try the soft serve, which will be when I return for a third visit. The only reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars is because the location is quite small, and because there’s usually a long line it gets cramped easily. Keep that in mind if you’re ideally planning to grab ‘n go. There are also only around 3 tables at regular height and maybe 4 high chairs on the side.
FP — Google review
Tsujiri has a nice interior and very excellent vibes would come again. The matcha here is sweet yet it still holds the predominant match taste which is hard to find in other matcha places. In summary good matcha latte very nice worker and awesome interior
Wendy T — Google review
As someone who’s constantly on the hunt for the best matcha spots, I have to say, Tsujiri really impressed me. I tried their iced matcha latte and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and the matcha flavor was strong, smooth, and rich without any bitterness, a rare combo that many other places just don’t get right anymore. I also had the matcha cheesecake and it was so good, creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. You can really taste the quality in everything. The place is small and cozy. One iced matcha latte came to $9, which is definitely on the higher end, but for the quality you’re getting, it’s worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! 😋😋

Best place to get Matcha! If you are there get the the matcha chocolate, it is so smooth. And the drinks were so good

The shop is quite small — perfect for grab-and-go coffee and cake, as seating is limited. That said, the matcha cakes and drinks did not disappoint! They had the right balance of sweetness, were perfectly moist, and had a rich matcha flavour. The staff were lovely too.
Edelicious B — Google review
Finally visited Tsujiri yesterday (Saturday) to try one of their matcha desserts. Tsujiri is a small Japanese matcha/hojicha dessert shop, with very limited seating. They have maybe 2 tables (each having 2 chairs) and 3-4 bar stools. Tsujiri is mainly known for their matcha type desserts, but they also seem to offer hot food as well (oden, soba, chazuke, etc). For their cup desserts, they have 2 cup sizes: a regular sized cup, and a cup half the size of the regular cup. The regular sized cup is used for their floats and shaved iced. The mini cup is used for their parfaits. One thing to note is that their mini cup is very friggin small, but not as small as the other cup I got at this other Japanese dessert place. I was interested in getting the Brown Sugar Parfait ($10.75)... But the cup size was really tiny, so I refrained from doing a very expensive purchase. I got the Hojicha Shaved Ice ($11.95). It's in the regular cup size. This shaved ice is very different from the shaved ice I'm used to eating (bingsu). The "shaved ice" was more like tiny ice chunks, instead of being "shaved". The shiratama was basically tasteless. The chestnut was good. The Hojicha soft serve tasted like a more refined and deeper matcha (cause it really is). The red bean was sweeter than expected. And in the end, all of the "shaved ice" melted into one sweet liquid tea infused drink. Very sweet. Melted pretty fast (I was holding the top of the cup, since it was so cold). I found out that the special matcha chocolate that they had costed $18 for a very small, tiny box. The box basically fit within your hand and it was at most... Maybe an inch tall. There was no prices posted anywhere in the shop that showed you what the cost of the chocolates were. Had to ask. Overall, I was originally hyped up to go to Tsujiri to eat one of their desserts at least... The shop was kind of cute. The prices on the other hand, especially for the parfaits - Were not it. My sister told me the prices used to be cheaper for everything on their menu, but I told her what I saw and she joked about how expensive these items were. The Hojicha "Shaved Ice" was sweet and tasty - perhaps a bit too sweet by the end of it. Price wise? Meh. Pretty expensive, I guess. A one time purchase for me. Maybe their drinks would fare better (price vs quality vs quantity)?
TheArchitect — Google review
TLDR: matcha flavor is really bland, hojicha is much better The store itself is so hot and stuffy inside, I could barely stand to wait for my ice cream, let alone eat it inside. The matcha barely had any flavor especially compared to the hojicha. The hojicha was much more flavorful. Nice service but too hot inside so had to go eat outside

Extravagance extraordinary!! If you really to treat the loved ones in your life, whether that be your soulmate, family member, child, Grandchild or heh! - just your sweet self, this is the place to do it. Delicate, delicious, delightful, delectable delicacies. Decidedly devouring. A large selection of cupcakes, cakes, macaroons, croissants etc - the takeout versions of which come in designer boxes! Flavours and Colours are too varied and vivid to mention, so I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Go ahead. Treat yourself or someone special.

Delysées Luxury Desserts is a spot that truly lives up to its name. The pastries and desserts here look stunning, almost too pretty to eat, but once you take a bite, you realize they taste just as good as they look. The macarons are delicate with crisp shells and smooth, flavorful fillings, and the cakes are light yet rich, with layers that feel perfectly balanced. What stands out most is the attention to detail — every dessert feels carefully crafted, with textures and flavors that complement each other. The chocolate creations are silky and indulgent without being overwhelming, and the fruit-based desserts are refreshing and not overly sweet. The space itself is chic and modern, which makes it a nice place to enjoy dessert with friends or just treat yourself. Service is friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Whether you’re looking for a beautiful cake to share or just want to enjoy something small but luxurious, Delysées is definitely worth a visit.

I have been here twice! It’s a high end luxury desert shop so it can be pricey and the single servings are small but the taste overcomes all these factors. I have had Nutella tiramisu cake, trio chocolate and champagne macarons don’t remember name of 1 more but they were a delight and something I have never had like. Really amazing desserts and the ambience, interiors and even the cutlery will give you a very luxury feel.

Beautiful dessert shop on trendy Ossington Ave. Great place to take a break while shopping or dining nearby. The Rocher I tried looked like a giant Ferrero Rocher—chocolate glaze with a crispy shell and biscuit base. Not overly sweet, but still a bit too sweet for my taste. Lots of eye-catching pastries. Worth visiting if you’re nearby, but not a must-go.

Wow, that dessert selection was absolutely incredible! I was completely blown away by the sheer variety and the deliciousness of everything on offer. The interiors were also stunning, creating such a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance truly enhanced the overall experience and made it even more enjoyable. I found myself completely lost in the moment, savoring every bite and taking in the beautiful surroundings.I wholeheartedly agree that this dessert place is definitely worth visiting again and again. I can't wait to go back soon!

Lovely atmosphere and delicious sweets! The café has a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The pastries and desserts were fresh and tasty, definitely a highlight of the visit. However, the coffee itself was a bit underwhelming—it reminded me of Tim Hortons, which isn’t necessarily bad, but I was expecting something richer and more flavorful. Still, a nice place overall!

Bakerbots Baking is a trendy bakery located near Ossington Station in Toronto, offering a diverse selection of cookies, sweets, ice cream sandwiches, and coffee drinks. The bakery provides an assortment of pies, tarts, cakes, cookies, and ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth. It's the perfect spot for a quick treat accompanied by refreshing ice cream on a hot summer day.
We stopped in for iced coffees and some sweets. They have a great selection of sweets that they make in house; tarts, cakes, cookies and ice cream. Our iced americanos were great and we really enjoyed their pecan butter tarts. Couple things to note: No washrooms available. If they do, they were not clearly marked or clear to customers. They did have hand sanitizer available. They do have limited seating indoor and a couple spots outdoor. It’s a very small shop and the products are quite good. However it is not a spot that’s easy to sit and enjoy your order. I would recommend for take out.

So much to choose from! Ended up trying the pecan butter tart and it was the best I had. The inside was gooey. Will have to try their carrot cake next time! Friendly staff too. Update: Carrot cake is my all-time favorite dessert and I finally got a chance to try it here. It's the best I've ever had! It's moist, not overly sweet, and has an amazing texture.

Lovely bakery cafe! They offered plenty of options for cakes/bakery menu which all looked V yummy I tried the carrot cake and the sweetness level was perfect. It’s more of a home baked style cake, which made it more special. The sitting area is also very nice, with vintage furnitures adding up to its cozy vibe Would’ve been a regular customer if only I lived nearby 10/10

Amazing baked goods! Same owners as bang bang ice cream on Ossington, so you know it’s top tier quality and taste. My family and I’s favourites are the craq puff, sticky bun, cinnamon bun, and brownie! You honestly can’t go wrong with any baked good here.

Visited EVERY OTHER DAY during my stay in Roncy! In terms of variety and sophistication, best bake shop in the neighbourhood and possibly the best I’ve had in Toronto. My favourites are their cream puff series and the seasonal fruity chiffon cakes 🍰 both options would be best suited for those who aren’t into overly sweet treats. The mango and coconut chiffon cake is still my favourite of all the items I’ve tried. It’s light, refreshing, and flavourful - the best kind of cake for summer and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. All their cream puff flavours are delicious, tried their vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon and caramel. I must say that the caramel definitely left an impression as it tasted more burnt and Smokey, which is quite different from what I was expecting, in a good way so the sweetness wasn’t over powering at all. Highly recommend!
Iris Y — Google review
I wish I had the appropriate words to describe how every bite there feels. Everything is just that good. And the spot is very welcoming. I first went to try their delicious and viral banana pudding last year, but I had to come back to try more. The gluten free brownie, the jalapeño scones and their classic cinnamon rolls didn’t disappoint at all. Everything was amazing. Coffee was pretty outstanding too. The brownie, omg. I will come back for more. Soon. —— I just came back again 😂 to try the double moist mayonnaise cake. Please try that one too. Try everything.
Oriana R — Google review
I visit once in a while and everything that I get is fairly tasty. My favourite items are the strawberry chiffon cake (seasonal), cinnamon buns, any cream puff. They also offer ice cream from Bang Bang. Some items such as cream puffs and some cakes may not be available until later in the day. Just as a warning, everything is more expensive than what you might expect them to be.
Kana H — Google review
Wow!!! This bakery is an amazing find in a city of tourist trap bakeries! Every item in there is so unique that i was stressing out when it came my turn to pick what i wanted. I ended up choosing a staple, a chocolate and lemon combo, in my the chocolate ganache cake and lemon curd crème puff. The chocolate cake was so decadent yet the chocolate wasn’t all that sweet so the combination made the cake just perfect! I wanted to try something new, and i saw the crème puffs just looked so pretty that i needed to get one. The puff pastry was perfectly well made, the creme as well was splendid, but i feel as if the combination of the very sweet creme and very sweet lemon curd, was just too much that you couldn’t take very many bites. It was also soggier than i would have liked it, but that was also because i tried it at the end of the day, so it was probably my fault for that reason. I really wanted to get their banana pudding but i didn’t see it until after i ordered and i didn’t want to over do it. Only other downside i would say is that it is a very small inside and only so many people can fit, and when you are ordering, it feels overwhelming and overcrowded. But I would definitely come back here again and recommend to anyone visiting toronto!

Fuwa Fuwa Dessert Cafe is a must-visit spot in Toronto for those seeking the ultimate Japanese soufflé pancake experience. The cafe offers made-to-order fluffy pancakes with various toppings, along with a selection of café drinks. Renowned for its soft and airy texture, these Japanese-style pancakes redefine the pancake experience, making traditional Western pancakes seem thick and heavy in comparison.
Amazing service and fluffy pancakes! The interior is cute but quite small yet pretty empty in the afternoon on a weekend. The tiramisu pancakes blew it out of the park! It was rich, light, and not too sweet! Could have used more coffee flavor since the chocolate syrup took over most of it. However, it was still better than the savory option of the smoked salmon and eggs. The pancakes were still good but the rest was just okay and didn't complement the sweetness of the pancakes too well. The avocado croissant was nice and crunchy, simple and toasty!
Mae M — Google review
Finally tried this place and it was very yummy! I am not a pancake person but these tasted more like a Japanese cheesecake which I enjoyed. Pancakes are thick, fluffy and sweet. The cream didn’t have much of a flavour which I didn’t mind as the pancake was already quite sweet but made me question why it was there. Likely to add moisture but I wish it had tasted like something instead of nothing. We also got a blueberry soda and strawberry lemonade which were $5 each. They were good but I probably would’ve enjoyed it more in the summer as I had this on a cold and rainy day. Blueberry syrup was quite sweet though so I wish they had diluted it a bit more.

Service: the place was not busy when we visited which was great as we had the time to order and enjoy. The orders came relatively fast, the person was kind and gave good recommendations. Food: the food was very good. We enjoyed the croffle as well as the pancakes and egg griddle. All very tasty. Our little one really enjoyed the tiny jugs to pour the chocolate on the pancakes. Atmosphere: good and family friendly.

FUGO Desserts, located in Toronto, is a go-to spot for delectable sweets. Originally known for its ice cream, the shop has expanded its offerings to include an array of mini donuts and coffee inspired by international flavors. The menu features specialty ice cream cones with unique toppings and an extensive selection of mini donuts, including flavors like Cre Brulee and Rosewater Pistachio.
This is my go-to ice cream joint. I will go out of my way to get something here if I'm wanting good ice cream. They're open pretty late (9 most days) so there's no reason not to go. You can't go wrong with a specialty ice cream, and I've been recently trying their soft serve. Their flavours occasionally change so it's always a good idea to go. Plus they have great mini donuts (other people might emphasise this, but I'm here for the ice cream). There's a few seats along the wall, but it's better for the shop and for your personal bubble to get it and go.

Nice dessert spot. Got some assorted mini donuts from here. They were really good fresh, but the later we had them the less appetizing they were. The Reese’s peanut butter was the best out of the four choices. Just a heads up the donuts are very small compared to the photos, one to two bites each.

The best thing about this place is all the picture-perfect and Instagram-worthy shots you can take about their available ice cream and donuts. Personally, I have had my lot of good shots taken. Nice little shop with very delicious donuts. There were plenty of flavours to choose from. Also tried out the cinnamon ice cream sundae. As a fan of everything cinnamon, it was absolutely fantastic. Even had cinnamon toast crunch layered at the bottom.

I've been meaning to visit Fugo Desserts for quite some time now. Specifically, I had the S'mores specialty cone in mind. However, with the chillier temperature, I opted for their Instagram-worthy hot chocolate instead. The hot chocolate itself wasn't overly sweet and/or rich. The highlight though was truly the toasted marshmallow topping! I love anything with marshmallow fluff to be honest. For added cuteness, the drink is then topped with two Teddy graham cookies and a Hershey's chocolate as well. Walking in, I was greeted immediately. The front-like employee asked me if it was my first time here and since I said yes, he kindly walked me through the menu. He was very helpful and kind, while giving me adequate time to think through my order - which I greatly appreciated cause I didn't feel rushed at all. The store itself is small but cozy. I shall be back for more goodies! ----- Update. I walked into an empty store around 6:45 pm and wasn't greeted by a staff member until about 5-10 minutes later as he came out from the back of house (the same for the next customer who came in while my ice cream was being made at the back). The employee was quiet but polite. Winter is still here but the S'MORES ON S'MORES from Fugo was calling my name! The best feeling is when something tastes as good as you imagine, and this was definitely that. The two scoops of Skor brownie ice cream were just rich enough that it wasn't too heavy and/or sweet. The brownie bites were delicious. As you know, I love toasted marshmallow fluff so i don't need to say more about that. Topped with a piece of cookies n' cream Hershey's chocolate, this was absolute heaven. ----- Update. I've tried Fugo's ice cream which deserved 5 stars, but here I am coming back to try their donuts! These cute little goodies also deserve a high rating because the classic donuts are extremely light and fluffy, and serve as the basis for all their donuts. To top it all off, they have such a wide variety of specialty donuts. I tried the following: 1. Campfire s'mores 2. Churros 3. Creme brulee 4. Cookies n'cream 5. Chocolate pistachio 6. Reese's I genuinely enjoyed all the flavors and would come back to try the others. This box of 6 was $5.75! It's a bonus that purchasing 6+ donuts excludes taxes. ---- Update. Easter weekend pop-up delivery of 2020 I found out about this pop-up via their Instagram posts and overall, I'd say they did a very good job of advertising/keeping their customers informed and their overall organization was quite good (especially considering that this was their first time hosting this type of event). Placing my order was simple - online on their website with a very user-friendly interface. Being a Vaughan resident, my delivery was set for the second day and estimated for ~5pm delivery. Impressively, the doorbell rung at 5:11 pm. Delivery was completely contactless, as they dropped order on the porch and rang the bell. My two items were placed in a large paper bag. Small detail, but they didn't place their logo on anything (i.e. no logos on the paper bag, ice cream tub, or cake container). Everything tasted fresh, like it was made the day of. The HK milk tea ice cream ($11.90) was rich in flavor and creamy smooth! The matcha tiramisu ($22) was a little small in size for the price, but the flavors were perfect. The top layer of matcha powder helped to balance out the sweetness of the cream and by keeping this dusting light, it wasn't too bitter. I was extremely happy with my order, and it was exciting to have it delivered to me for free (orders over $30) especially considering they're located downtown.

Fugo has the perfect bite-size treat to grab! These super cute and delicious mini donuts comes in all different neat flavours~ like cookies n'creme, apple pie, rose pistachio... They make the donuts freshly right after you order too! You can choose the number of donuts in a box, and mix and match the flavours. We found that toppings varied in sweetness, but overall the donuts had a nice fried shell, with soft "cake-like" texture biting in. We ordered them for a party, they were very presentable, and all of us loved it. Nugateau Patisserie is a charming, bright white bakeshop located on Queen Street West in Toronto. It stands out as the city's first pastry shop exclusively dedicated to éclairs. The pastries are hand-crafted using authentic French techniques and no artificial flavors. The menu boasts over a dozen variations of éclairs, ranging from simple fruit flavors to more decadent and complex options.
Quite enjoyed the large variety of eclairs they offer. The fruit based flavours cut through the richness of the pastry and it wasn’t overly sweet. I think if you got some of the chocolate or vanilla flavours, perhaps it would be a tad too sweet. But the ones we had were delicious. Patisserie also has a large seating area so you can enjoy in store.

I just had the most exquisite macaron! Delicate, flavorful, and simply joyful. Paired with a cozy latte, a vibrant bouquet, and my favorite scarf, the whole moment felt like a page out of a dreamy café novel. The space is warm and welcoming, just like the sweets they craft with such care. Thank you to the owner for curating such a beautiful, sensory experience. You’ve created something truly special, both delicious and delightful 🌺🩷

Picked up the most amazing desserts for our family Thanksgiving lunch! The pumpkin pie was scrumptious, with just the right amount of sweetness and the most delectable cream filling. Hand down, the best pumpkin pie we’ve ever had. Compliments to the chef! The eclairs were also delicious and added a great seasonal touch to the dessert table. Thank you for the great service, recommendations and treats! I’m sure I’ll be back for more.

Not impressed and not worth $8.00 for eclairs that were not even fresh. 👎 Great service, but the eclairs tasted days old as if they were left in the fridge and sold to me…. I really expected more from this place…it’s just too bad…
Shay — Google review
Great place for desserts - loved the pistachio, raspberry, lemon, blueberry, and chocolate flavor eclairs. The pizza was also really yum. Latte could have been better - I Didn’t particularly enjoy the lavender latte. Interior and ambience was great, but it didn’t smell as nice. Recommend this :)

Follow @bredgyeats for more food reviews and posts! Enamoured by their brilliant display of eclairs, I just couldn't resist the vibrant green of the pistachio royale and the flavour combination of the Juliette. The pistachio cremeux encases an airy whipped pistachio ganache, finished with candied pistachios and a white chocolate glaze. However, I preferred the combination of the dark chocolate mousse and raspberry filling, a match made in heaven, while providing a heterogeneous experience as each half is slightly different.

My expectations were quite high and was looking forward to amazing eclair…my mind was set up. Upon entering the cafe, I was taken by beautiful decor, clean lines and, what seemed amazing desserts. Desserts looked beautiful, actually perfect. I ordered eclair and macchiato; my husband ordered palmier dipped in green chocolate(pistachio?) and macchiato. Coffee was amazing and that’s is hard to find in this big city where everything is oversized. On the other hand, my eclair was not fresh and that was big letdown for me. At the price ticket of $8.00, you would expect it to be über fresh. I was quite disappointed. I did try palmier and it was nice, but wasn’t fan on chocolate component. Looked good, but didn’t go well for me. I would have preferred just a drizzle of dark chocolate. Just my preference. After all I didn’t order it. My hubs did like it. My highest regards for amazing and well prepared macchiato. Maybe we will come again and give it another go. Thank you.

What a delightful bakery specializing in eclairs. We tried the mango passionflower eclair that was both beautiful and was an explosion of flavor. The pistachio croissant was a luxurious mix of the flakiness of a croissant and a silky smooth pistachio pudding filling. Don’t miss this experience next time you are in Toronto.

Daan Go Cake Lab is a vibrant and cheerful bakery known for its custom and creatively decorated cakes, pastries, and high-concept macarons. The shop offers a variety of desserts including delicious cakes, cookies, ice cream, and drinks with Asian-inspired flavors like Vietnamese coffee or durian. Their specialty lies in adorable character macarons that top some of their cakes.
I have been taking their cakes for some years now and they are really good. The consistency is worth mentioning. Their cakes are not too overpowering sweet while having a good balance of taste and color. I would keep having their mango cake for many years to come. Hope they open up a franchise in Durham as well.

We ordered our wedding cake from Daan Go and it was absolutely the best. The taster set (which you can use towards the final price of the cake) allowed us to sample many flavours at once and then decide on the one we loved the most. The ordering process was simple and fast, they showed up during the delivery window and set up just as planned. It was easy and stress free - which is exactly what we needed on our big day. The cake itself tasted just as good - or even better - than it looks (we did pistachio) and our guests absolutely loved it too.

4.5 stars - the store front is in an unassuming plaza. It's a little sparse but the offerings are super cute. I ordered the celebration pig online and pickup was a breeze. The cake was so cute! The recipients loved the attention to detail including how the inside layers look a bit like the layers of a roast pig 😆. The chocolate crunchy layer was also nice in mimicking the crispy skin. The flavours were a nice combination but it was just a little sweet for me (probablythe amountof chocolate needed to cover the piggy), but with a nice tea it would probably be perfect. The store has some cute cakes, macarons, and ice cream for direct pick-up too if you don't want to order ahead.

The HK milk tea here is sooooo good! Smooth and silky, but strong the way it should be. Enjoyed the HK milk tea cake slice and the Pandan cake slice. Not too sweet, creamy and light and perfect. Highly recommended.

Got a Strawberry Fields cake for my Mom’s birthday and the cake was delicious. Well received by Mom and the rest of my family. The little piggy (strawberry flavoured) macaron on top was a nice touch. The staff and service were also great.

Amazing customer service! I came to the Midland location last Friday, August 8, 2025 around 11:30am to pick the merchandises that I bought online. I also bought some ice creams and macarons. I received outstanding customer service as there was only 1 staff there on that morning. He was so helpful and courteous. He went about above and beyond in trying to find the flavour of the ice cream that I was asked about. He totally deserved a promotion or a medal! I should also add that the quality and the flavours of the ice creams and macarons were outstanding as well.
Jennifer Y — Google review
We got a small box of macaroons from Daan Go Cake Lab to celebrate my father's birthday. Everyone in my family enjoyed them and said the flavours were really good. We were surprised at how accurate the flavours were without being overly sweet. Flavours we got in order of the macaroons from left to right: Passionfruit, Pistachio, Tiramisu, Milk Tea, Hazelnut chocolate, and Mango. We definitely plan to return to try other desserts in the future.
Chris M — Google review
I ordered their cake jars from Skip (milk tea and vietnamese coffee flavours) since they looked so cute, but they were surprisingly inedible. The cream layers were icy all the way through, with visible ice shards, like the product was sitting in a freezer for too long. Their other offerings, like the cake slices with imaginative flavours and adorable character macarons, are far better, so I suppose the rating should be closer to 3.5 stars, but do not order the cake jars!

Short & Sweet Bakeshop is a charming bakery in North York that offers a delightful selection of custom, mini, and jumbo cupcakes made with top-quality ingredients. In addition to their visually appealing cakes and cupcakes, they are known for their indulgent twice-baked cookies. These cookies have a perfect golden exterior with a soft and chewy inside, offering a satisfying combination of textures.
I can't believe I haven't left a review here before 🤦🏻‍♀️ I've been a loyal customer for years and this is hands down my go to bakery. I've tried pretty much every single cupcake on their menu and they are all fantastic! Staff is phenomenal, for my birthday this year, Ness helped my partner surprise me by taking my favourite cupcake chunky monkey and turn it into cake form! They've never done a full version of it before, but it was so successful they've added it to their menu😍 Their cookie-whiches and cheesecake bars are also fantastic. Amazing place, amazing staff. 🍪🧁🎂 Thanks for all the delicious treats over the years! Much love 🙌🏽💜

This bakery is by far the best bakery ever! I’ve been going here for years and they’ve done all my cakes from my birthday, friend’s birthdays, to my wedding cake. They are absolutely the best! With the design, delivery, and flavour. They are the complete package. My self and family members have nut allergies and it’s so nice how they are completely nut free. There is no one else better than them! The absolute best bakery 🩷

Where do I begin?! I’d give ten stars if I could! I was following them on Instagram for ages and finally visited today for a cake tasting and it was dellliicccioouussss. The cupcakes were so fresh, beautifully presented and the customer service was warm and kind 💕 The smell when I walked in put me in a trance it was so good! I highly recommend. I’ll be choosing them to do my cake but will be back in the mean time for more treats 😋 thank you short and sweet!

BEST CUPCAKES IN TORONTO! The texture of the red velvet cupcakes is so bouncy and the butter cream icing on the other cupcakes is delicious. The staff were so helpful and nice.

Short & Sweet made the most beautiful, and more importantly, most delicious wedding cake for our wedding. We highly recommend their red velvet and carrot cake options. Even guests who do not normally like those flavours were raving about the incredibly moist and delicious cake they had prepared. Daneet was amazing to work with and accommodated all of our special requests. The tasting process was also lovely, with all staff and the owner providing top notch customer service. Short & Sweet delivered the cake to our venue without a hitch and decorated it with live flowers on the spot to ensure maximum beauty and freshness. My wife and I could not have asked for a better wedding cake. We have also ordered a cake from Short & Sweet for a birthday party, which was also fantastic. My wife and I will continue to use Short & Sweet for our future events. We cannot recommend them enough.

A most pleasant customer experience was had by me on the phone. I ordered the Sprinkler birthday cake. Peanut-free bakery was key because I had dietary restrictions for some of my birthday guests. The cake was delicious!!! Party goers thought there was a a heavy amount of icing. Next time I will specify less. Tasty good overall, Thank you

Nestled in the heart of Toronto, Craig's Cookies is a cozy haven for cookie enthusiasts. This charming spot specializes in crafting unique cookies that are bursting with delightful fillings like candy, chocolate, nuts, and even brownies. With an impressive menu boasting over 100 flavors—including adventurous options like chili chocolate and Cherry Blasters—Craig's Cookies invites you to indulge your sweet tooth in the most creative ways possible.
One of the best cookie chains in Canada! Craig’s Cookies makes consistently delicious cookies in so many amazing flavours. Their cookies are big, moist and have just the right amount of chewiness. The cookies themselves are also super filling. My favourite is the Kinder Surprise Cookie while my sister loves the Toffee Cookie. An amazing franchise and way to support a business that’s a part of the beautiful 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We have so many more flavours we’re planning to try!

I love these cookies! I can only have the gluten friendly ones, so I have to make sure I'm there for those ones (they sell out quickly!), but they are magical. They have a huge variety for the gluten-eating types, and the looks on my friends' faces tells me they are every bit as delicious as the gf ones.

They have such a great service! I love how they always welcome people to come to their place. I like the cookies they have but I think they are but too much sweet for me! I think it depends what cookie you get but almost all of them has chocolate inside so I think it depends! Cookies&cream cookie (photo)

These cookies are delicious, but very heavy. You’ll be more than satisfied with one and very full after two. It’s a nice little treat when you’re feeling like indulging and would go great with a glass of milk or black coffee. A box of 6 makes a lovely little gift for the people in your life who have a sweet tooth and will only set you back $18.

Craig’s Cookies are hands down the best ! I love their amazing assortment and delicious flavors. Every time I visit Toronto (specifically Church street) stopping by Craig’s is a must. I also heard Craig is a fellow Newfoundlander—love supporting homegrown talent 💙❤️🤍💛 ! Highly recommend - one bite & you’ll get it ! Service is always great !

Sorry Craig, I’m not a fan. Cookies are weirdly both too sweet and too salty. The options are mostly popular candies and chocolate bars in a cookie. Lack’s originality. Also, I expected them to be bigger for the price. 2nd chance: tried the Pecan Butter Tart & Pumpkin Pie from the Thanksgiving mix. Pecan Butter was tasty, but super sweet. The Pumpkin Pie was not good; I couldn’t even finish it. Customer service wasn’t that friendly today either.

My best cookies place in Toronto! So yummy and variety in ingredients and toppings, prices are affordable and the staff are nice and helpful!
Ihab B — Google review
I popped in looking for something like sea salt caramel brown butter walnuts, or uncommon spice/herbs etc. The closest I found was a soft skor. It was fresh and soft but too sweet, I feel it’s one of those cookies that is really needs to be consumed alongside whole milk or coffee to balance it, no crispy edges for relief, overall not to my preference. However, if you like the style of salted super-sweet all-soft cookies with candy inclusions, there are so many options for you at Craig’s.

Daan Go Cake Lab, located in Scarborough at Midland Ave and Finch Ave E, is a delightful bakery owned by Christopher, winner of Canada's master chef. The bakery specializes in creating charming and adorable macarons personalized with edible images and character designs resembling small animals.
The cakes are really impressive both in how they look and taste. We tried the little duck-shaped one that comes in a mini bathtub, and it was absolutely adorable. It was also really tasty. They had a deal on six cakes, which Kevin, the person helping us, kindly told us about. He was super friendly and helpful, so we ended up trying an extra one. The prices are actually very reasonable considering the creativity and detail in the presentation. I noticed they also have macarons, ice cream, and other beautifully designed cakes. The place was quite busy, especially for takeout, so it seems to be well known and popular. They also offer an alcohol menu, which I didn’t try this time, but it’s nice to know for future visits. Overall, it was a really fun and unique experience. The themed cakes make it a great place to treat yourself or to bring friends.

i want to try so many different cakes from daan go because they’ve got such cool flavours! i got the 3:15 cake for a birthday and honestly it was quite small. the base was really good — it was crunchy and sweet and even though i couldn’t really taste/pinpoint the pINEAPPLE bun or ovaltine , i really liked how it was like a sweet chocolaty ish wafer. the crumbs around the side of the cake were super addicting too. the mousse was jiggly and some parts were definitely sweeter than others, but i think the coffee/tea taste just wasn’t really foR me?? but i thought the macarons were super nice and so were the strawberries. there was also a nice smooth sweet rich white chocolate taste.
Katelynn C — Google review
Had a variety of their single size cakes which was ordered via Uber Eats, physical location on Spadina. And wow the decor and meticulous detail is crazy, I almost didn’t want to eat it because of how aesthetically pleasing they were. I tried the bubble tea, runny egg, pistachio and ramen cake and my favourite one was the runny egg. I thoroughly enjoyed the contrast of the rich chocolate and the light and tart passionfruit. It was very unique and so tasty. I found the bubble tea and ramen cake flavours to be good but didn’t like all the other components in terms of texture like the mochi balls and pudding. The last on my list was the pistachio which was to my surprise as I love anything pistachio flavoured but I found the cake to be dense and dry while the lemon was too overpowering. I would like to try more of their cakes and definitely think the visual appeal of it beats no other!

I was looking for a different cake. Something new and we haven’t had for my partner’s birthday. We got this cake with Pistachio flavour and oh my god, it was hit in my family. Not too sweet, no excessive cream, but wasn’t dry either. So many layers of multiple textures. We just loved it. Thank you for creating something that was out of box and delicious.

Tried the Tira-Meow-Su at Dana Go Cake Lab after a long, rough day at work, and it was exactly what I needed. The rich coffee flavor really hit the spot—gave me the perfect pick-me-up and instantly lifted my mood, and I loved how adorably it was presented. Definitely looking forward to trying their other dessert creations soon, because they seem just as fun and inviting!

We got the macarons delivered to us and we couldn’t get over how cute they are. Almost too cute to not eat. We got a mixed box and each one was so tasty. It’s the perfect gift or dessert to bring to an occasion. Would love to come in and get their other desserts.

In addition to these delightful treats, the café also serves tasty cloud cookies, cake boxes, and more. Customers have the option to order for delivery or pick-up directly from their website.
First time here and it did not disappoint. Coffee was a good ol’ pick-me-upper, on the strong side. Impressed with their selection of macarons and cookies as they are made in-house. The flavors were vibrant.

Coffee was good, cookies were amazing, the ceramic mugs/cups makes the serving experience even better. However because it is winter and snowing, the cold was unbearable indoors, the entry door kept making it worse. Probably if they would invest in wooden floors it would make the place perfect, cozier, and at-home-y-feeling. I wouldn’t come here with my laptop as it is quite humid and cold inside.
Diana D — Google review
The interior of this cafe is really cute, I like it! There is a lot of variety of macaroons, I wish I had gotten one :( I got their iced latte, I’m not a frequent coffee drinker so this was particularly strong in my opinion, it was still enjoyable! There is quite limited seating and it can get busy at times. The staff was very friendly and sweet, I hope they restock their matcha soon!

Coming for these lovely Korean-style macarons and dacquoises, a delectable fusion of Korean and French desserts! The Korean-style Dacquoise is composed of two spongy nut-meringue almond biscuits sandwiching a thick layer of buttercream, creating a semi-sweet, airy delight. My personal favourite was the fresh strawberry flavour🍓

I love The Social Blend and just realized I've never left a review! Whenever I am in the area, I love to stop by and try the monthly flavors. The space has free wifi, a super chill vibe, and really nice staff. The macarons are beautifully crafted, generous with their filling, and not too sweet! Had a chance to stop in for a quick coffee and snack. Wow, the selection and quality of the macarons is incredible! Very fresh with wonderful flavour combinations. Super-decadent, double layer macarons - not too sweet with delicious flavour. Also had an iced coffee which was perfect. A beautiful environment with friendly service. Will definitely be visiting again soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped by this amazing coffee spot in the neighbourhood! Have had takeouts multiple times for coffee but this was first time with sitting down at the location, love their set up, good seating space, most of the dessert on their menu (macarons) were over by 5pm when i visited over the weekend! That was a bit of a let down! Tried their hazelnut latte and peach danish and both were amazing! The staff is friendly and quick service. Worth visiting and hopefully can try their macarons next time

This cafe has outdoor patio as well as indoor seating. I got an iced latte, a peach lychee macaron and a Nutella puff to go. Staff was friendly and gave me advice on which macaron flavor to pick. There’s so many, it’s hard to choose ! Service was super quick and efficient. The macaron has a nice presentation. The shape, color and details are great. I found it a bit too sweet even though I love sweet things. Would come again to try other flavors. Some are classics and others are seasonal. I enjoyed my latte and really liked the Nutella puff. It has the right amount of filling. I will definitely come again to try more of their items.

If you're looking for some creative and out-of-the-box ice cream, look no further than Sweet Jesus. With long lineups, this tiny shop is always busy, so be prepared to wait awhile. But the ice cream is worth it! You can choose from a variety of flavors, like Elvis and Rocky Road Rage, both of which are insanely Instagrammable. If you're in the mood for something cold and sweet, Sweet Jesus is definitely the place to go!
Oh my goodness! I found myself in a sugar coma after indulging in the Red Rapture. I ordered the Red Rapture and Hella Hazelnut, and my favorite was the Red Rapture. The cake's crumbly exterior paired with the velvety vanilla ice cream on the inside was an irresistible combination. I was on a diet, but this dessert clearly broke my resolve. Please note that this store doesn't offer indoor seating, so be prepared for a quick grab-and-go experience. However, there are a few outdoor seating options available if you prefer to dine on-site. Overall, it's a great place to satisfy your sweet cravings.

Don’t let the pictures fool you! It basically lipstick on a pig. The finished product doesn’t come close to the pictures or descriptions. Cheap soft serve ice cream thinly coated with dollar store candy or dry cake crumbs. Purchased two cones same size and one was much smaller and missing half the ingredients from the description. Definitely not worth prices they charge.
Chris B — Google review
As an ice cream lover, I liked the taste of the ice cream itself and the size wasn’t one of those tiny ones and I really liked it. but the issue was that there aren’t so many options. Plus the atmosphere and staff were even colder than the ice cream. Lol. All in all I recommend this place.
Sh A — Google review
The ice cream itself was good. A little disappointed in the limited options for what I wanted for my ice cream toppings. Not a fan of the pre-mixed toppings, I’m slightly picky with my food so there that. I think the great ice cream is drowned out by the abundance of sauces. In all honesty I really love saying the name Sweeeeeeet Jeeeeesus ! 😂
Jermaine C — Google review
Once the tiny bit of topping is gone, you’re left with a plain vanilla or chocolate soft serve. Not worth the price. The cotton candy and the birthday cake could have had those flavor ice creams. Look at my cotton candy toppings—basically nothing! Then look at the picture! Rip-off.
Starasia S — Google review
Friends sampled their range of ice-cream. It was good. Quick service, nice staff. Don't expect to sit and enjoy your ice cream because the space is small; you most likely buy and leave. I recommend the medium sized because the large might become overbearing after a while, especially if you do not have a sweet tooth.

I came here to satisfy a craving for soft serve ice cream and this hit the spot. I had seen the super long lines at the Niagara outlet and was glad there was one right in downtown TO. The 4pm-11pm hours are interesting but I guess there is something to that. The space is small (can only serve 4 patrons at a time) and there was 1 cashier and 1 server. This creates a line outdoors which can be discouraging but it moves quickly. The menu card hanging outside the door lists prices +/- 1 dollar cheaper than the actual cost which is on the menu board inside. Someone needs to have that updated. We had the pimped-out cookies and cream on a waffle cone and a straight-up vanilla in a cup. Both were generously sized for "small" and tasted amazing. They also have patio seating if you want to stay back to have your ice cream. I'll be back here for sure!

This small ice cream shop is on the list of top 10 ice cream shops in Toronto. The first time I went exploring, I missed it as it's in a corner next to a sushi burger shop. A week later I ventured out determined to find the place. I tried the Red Velvet cake with soft serve ice cream. It was like an okay taste, didn't find anything spectacular as I expected. Maybe I need to try something else. Kids size would suffice, but even that's overpriced at around CAD $6.50. Nice interiors and helpful staff.

I ordered an espresso, Tiramisu cake, cheese cake and brownie cake. I was pretty late and got there when they were about to close. I had to do take out because of that, but we were able to sit outside the cafe. They have a nice outdoor area, which I enjoyed. My favourite was the cheesecake because it had whipped cream and raspberry topping. I would come back provided I get to sit inside :)

Great Hot chocolate! Omlet was good. Waffle's taste was okay but vanilla icecream was rich in taste and texture. The one thing I didn't liked at all was thier Mocha Chocolate Ice drink. All other food and drinks were nice. Best thing is their fruit bowl with liquid milk chocolate.

Pretty good sweet / savory creperie. Various hot chocolate and fondue options, they also serve sandwiches (I recommend to try chicken and waffles - very nice indeed). The place could be busy because of the tourists in the Distillery District during the day so I usually go there a bit later.

Wandered into this cafe on a cold Sunday morning walk through the distillery district. Immediately we were greeted and after a quick scan of the menu we opted for an amazing breakfast sandwich, grilled cheese and hot chocolate and a cacao 70 signature mocha. Everything was great! The servers are very friendly and welcoming. We got the chocolate experience for two, the salted caramel milkshake and the frozen hot chocolate. The salted caramel milkshake was okay but the frozen hot chocolate we didn't like at all. The frozen hot chocolate was warm and had really strong flavour. We didn't finish our drinks because It was too sweet for our liking. The chocolate experience for two was great. You get to roast your own marshmallows and there's also fondue. The fruits are really fresh. This was our second time here and the service was great.

This place is amazing for all of you chocolate lovers! They have a great selections of chocolate (white, dark, milk, mix, etc.) and you can customize your drinks or order according to your preference. The portion size is pretty generous and it is recommended to order the sharing plate. The chocolate fondue is one of their signature dish that I highly recommend. If it's your first time, I would suggest Cacao 70 Signature Hot Chocolate. It's almost double the price of the regular hot chocolate, but it is served on a cool glassware glazed with chocolate, and you get to mix the drink yourself. The service was great even though it was very busy in the evening and there were a long lines. Despite that, the staffs were able to deliver excellent service and get our order quickly. This place is great for all occasion, whether it is a date, hangout with friends, or for family. It is, after all, very cozy and has a good vibes.

Bobbette & Belle Artisanal Pastries is a high-end patisserie known for its meticulously handcrafted cakes, cupcakes, and macarons. With locations in Queen East and Lawrence, this renowned bakery offers an exquisite selection of baked goods including scones, muffins, and biscuits. They are celebrated for their delectable treats and top-notch macarons in Toronto.
Bobette & Belle has been a go to for my family for 5 plus years since we moved to leslieville. The atmosphere is always warm and decorative for the seasons/holidays. We have so many memories with their famous cakes, cupcakes, pies and treats over the years. Our latest go to is the strawberry shortcake (we can’t wait to pick it up soon for my daughter’s 8th birthday). Looking forward to many more years of your delicious treats and good service.

Bobbette & Belle made the most incredible lemon cake for our vow renewal—it was an absolute showstopper. Elegant, beautifully crafted, and hands down the best-tasting cake we've ever had. Our guests are still talking about it! The artistry, attention to detail, and flawless execution made it such a highlight of our celebration. We’re so thankful we chose Bobbette & Belle for such a special occasion. Highly, highly recommend!

We got a cake from here for a birthday party. It was really tasty. The 6" cake was more than enough for our party of 8 people. I think you can get it for up to 10 people. The interior was nice. The staff could have made extra effort to help us choose the cake. They just waited for us to make a decision without explaining what's available or offering help.

What a beautiful patisserie. The brownie was excellent. Moist and not overly sweet. We absolutely loved their sticky toffee pudding. Best we've ever had!

We ordered the Ultimate Chocolate cake for a birthday celebration - after many suggesting this was one of if not the best cake in the city. It was fabulous. Great presentation just like the photos. Beautiful buttercream, rich dark chocolate flavour, 3x layers super moist and fudgey, and the brownies on top were delicious. Don't believe some of the bad reviews, the cake was awesome. Everyone raved about it. Also the maple pecan tarts, next level. We will be back!

We ordered a cake from Bobette & Belle and couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, the service was warm, friendly, and professional. The staff helped us choose the perfect design and flavour, and the final product was absolutely stunning, almost too beautiful to cut! Everyone loved it, the cake was moist, delicious, and a huge hit with all our guests. Thank you to the team at Bobette & Belle for making our celebration so special. We’ll definitely be back!

Placed an order ahead of time for floral-themed buttercream and vanilla cupcakes for an event. We received prompt confirmation of the order and communication was easy. Our order was ready at the agreed upon time and pickup went smoothly. The cupcakes were absolutely beautiful and travelled well - we received lots of compliments on their appearance. That said, the flavour and texture left much to be desired… the cupcake base was incredibly dry and tasted stale (despite us eating them within 2 hours of the pickup time). The buttercream was also very firm and lacked any sweetness, reminding us of refrigerated butter in both flavour and texture. Not sure if this was just an “off batch”, but it was quite disappointing.
Sarah H — Google review
My first experience trying the cupcakes was disappointing, but today I went in person to give them a second try and I was impressed. Walking in there is a calm atmosphere, beautiful displays and I appreciated the excellent customer service. The cupcakes were moist and not overly sweet, with really delicious flavour offerings. (Passionfruit; peanut butter and chocolate yummm, were my favourites) nothing like my first experience. I’m happy I came back and would definitely buy again!

Butter Avenue is a chic bakery and cafe that's renowned for its inventive macarons, cookies, cakes, chocolates, and espresso beverages. It offers a delightful Afternoon High Tea experience where you can catch up with friends while savoring delectable treats. The attentive service adds to the fun atmosphere. The Afternoon Picnic tea option is particularly enticing with its cake-like aroma and customizable sugar levels.
One of Toronto's best dessert place. Has a nice selection of small cakes and a great variety of macaroons and serves drinks. They also bake full size cakes but you have to order them. There is a nice cute seating area in the basement if you want to enjoy and devour the sweets right there and then. Enjoy!!!

Definitely worth a try! a small little patisserie on queen and spadina. The presentation is amazing and the taste is really good. We tried two desserts and both were really good. Very distinctive flavours. This place definitely has potential. One of the best macaroons I’ve tried. they also have a seating in the basement which is made well and follows the colour theme of the main area where the macaroons and desserts are displayed.
Anshita A — Google review
The macarons at Butter are always perfectly baked with a crunchy shell but light and chewy interiors. The flavours are immediately identifiable and well balanced. These aren't just sugary cookies where the filling and cookie itself just taste sweet. Every flavour is distinct and though out. These are not cheap as 6 cookies are going to be $15 +.

Since I have discovered Butter Avenue a view months ago, I have become seriously addicted. It is heaven! I thought I was partial to macaroons until I tried their macaroons. They also have a tea room downstairs, with a nice atmosphere, where my friend and I must have spent at least 3 hours last time we went. The service is always top-notch as well, and you can eat in, take out or pre-order your desserts.

Very fun experience with my girls to chat and catch up while enjoying this Afternoon High Tea. Our server was very attentive to our needs and made the overall experience fun. The food was great. I chose Afternoon Picnic as my tea choice (smelled like cake). You get an option with sugar to add as you please. The quiche was amazing! The pastry was flakey and the meat/quail egg combo was delightful. The Lychee and Granola with Rosewater was surprisingly good. The Rosewater and Granola mix meshed well together. The actual Afternoon High Tea... I loved it because I have a sweet tooth. My other 2 friends thought it was too much and would prefer a little more savoury choices (they wanted scones). Great service and even more amazing Afternoon High Tea. I would go back.

Great shop in the city for beautiful and delicate desserts that are tasty. The macarons are decent as are the tarts. There are also soft serve parfaits available, and I prefer the cream cheese flavour over the blueberry ones There is a hidden downstairs area for seating! Check out and follow me @instantonium on Instagram for more great eats!

Great little cafe to satisfy your sweet tooth. Lovely selection of macarons, individual cakes and full sized cakes. They also have quality beverages to compliment the desserts. Definitely a top 10 contender for Toronto dessert spots.

Yummy! The strawberry dessert I picked wasn't too sweet, which I like. The cool thing about this dessert is you can have this, and it includes two types of macaroons (the combinations of macaroon types vary)! They have seating on another floor below the store by going down some steps inside the store. There is a washroom for customers. Friendly staff. See my pics below for seating and food pics.

Nord Lyon, located on Queen Street West in Toronto, is a charming French bakery and restaurant that opened its doors in November. Despite the challenging circumstances of the Red Zone restrictions, this spot offers a delightful experience with an array of delectable treats made with high-quality French butter. From freshly baked bread and sandwiches to delicate pastries like eclairs and macarons, there's something for every palate. The establishment also serves top-notch coffee to complement the indulgent offerings.
I’ve been to this place a few times and tried several of their pastries, they’ve all been great. I’ve recommended it to a bunch of friends, and they all liked it too. My favorites are the almond croissant and the pistachio croissant. Just a heads up, the pistachio one is really filled, so skip it if you’re not into that. But overall, the texture, crispiness, and flavor of the pastries are consistently excellent. Plus, the variety and freshness here are hard to find anywhere else in DT Toronto. This time, I finally tried their ayce buffet, and I was seriously impressed. Everything was super fresh and hot. They even have an omelette station, you choose what goes in, and they make it for you on the spot. There’s a solid range of protein options like eggs, bacon, beef, sausages, and even cooked fish. For carbs, they’ve got rice, pasta, French toast, and more. Tons of fresh salads and veggie options too. A few types of their signature croissants were available, though I was hoping for a bit more variety on that front. Coffee, orange juice, and hot water were all included. The staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. Only downside was when I asked for water, there were no clean glasses available, and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get one. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Washrooms were very clean too, which is always a plus.

The sandwiches here are fantastic; very light and flavorful. The quiche is also excellent. The pastries are not too sweet, very Parisian. The juice is also very good, freshly made. I wish I lived nearby so I can try their weekend buffet. Highly recommend!

I've been here multiple times (queen st west location) pastries are always fresh and lost of options. I also tried the lunch buffet with is also didn't disappoint. Be sure to book ahead as it gets very busy. It's very fr3nch vibes with is super cozy and nice while having lunch. For the price of the buffet it is really worth it. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be coming back.

If you are looking for a heavy chocolate-filled almond croissant, with a chill vibe this is the cafe to check out. The coffee was okay not too great as I had better but there are so many options in the bakery. I opted for a chocolate almond croissant as it looked so tempting. It tasted good, especially the filling, which they take seriously. It has approx 10 tables with a variety of sweet and savory options. I enjoyed my rainy-day coffee. Must visit :)

Stopped by Nord Lyon on Queen St West and had a wonderful experience! The presentation was beautiful - from the elegant tray setup to the gold-toned cutlery, everything felt premium. I had the chocolate-covered pastry bar, which was rich, smooth, and incredibly satisfying. The butter cookies with candied fruit were light, buttery, and just the right amount of sweet - a perfect treat with coffee. The staff were especially warm, attentive, and welcoming, which really made the visit stand out. They took time to explain the options and made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and indulge in some high-quality desserts with great service and classy vibes!

FOOD (brunch buffet): good variety for the price. There's selection of salad, omelet made to order, pastries, pancake/crepe, pasta and other breakfast food. Everything is good and you can definitely get full from yummy selection. SERVICE: it's a small place but so crowded during weekend. The staffs are really busy so they might forget stuff. VIBE: it's a pastry shop turned into brunch place during weekend. Small and tight area but super crowded. Other than brunch time there're plenty of spots.
Chloe T — Google review
I stepped into Nord Lyon on Queen West with fluttering expectations—after all, I’d heard whispers of buttery croissants that could make your heart sing. My past dalliance with their almond croissant left me… amused, but never enchanted. Today, I was seeking redemption in their famed brunch buffet. Little did I know I was about to be cast as the lead in a culinary tragedy. The first act unfolded at the pastry display: a basket of croissants so sunken and pale they might have been excavated from last week’s leftovers. I bit into one, only to discover the soul‑crushing crunch of cardboard—drier than the Sahara and twice as unforgiving. I cornered a waiter, demanding to know how something “fresh” could taste like a two‑day‑old relic. He smiled apologetically, insisting they’d “just been cut fresh”—a weasel‑worded confession that whatever baking once happened, it certainly didn’t happen today. Act Two brought the buffet’s more theatrical twist: a strict “no waste” rule that threatened a surcharge if plates didn’t emerge spotless. So there I was, gnawing at my lifeless croissant like a condemned man forced to devour his own shroud, all to avoid the sting of an extra charge. Meanwhile, the “pistachio” croissant betrayed me completely—no nutty whisper on the tongue—while the chocolate version offered only a faint echo of ganache, as if the real filling had eloped with better ingredients. Yet every dark hour has its flicker of light: the make‑your‑own omelette station shone like a beacon, and the smoked salmon—a silken slice of brine‑kissed perfection—was a momentary reprieve from this buffet noir. Cakes and tarts lay limp and stale, as though they’d been waiting for a revival that never came, and the crepes collapsed beneath their soggy shame, tasting more like a damp gym towel than a Parisian treat. In a final, bitter curtain call, I glanced around at the cheerful staff, whose warmth felt like a cruel irony against the backdrop of culinary ruin. The décor was elegant, yes—glowing bulbs, polished brass, and potted ferns—but what are pretty surroundings when your taste buds have been betrayed? At CAD 35 a head, with not even a latte to soften the blow, this buffet felt like a heist of my hard‑earned after‑tax dollars. I will never return. Let this be your warning: Nord Lyon’s brunch buffet is a drama of dashed hopes and stale pastries. Don’t let the friendly smiles and gleaming décor fool you—behind the curtain lies a wasteland of cardboard croissants.
Raj J — Google review
I happened to pass by this store by chance and noticed some amazing-looking croissants, so I decided to give them a try. I must say, they were absolutely delicious! The fillings were generous and high-quality too. I think I’ve just found one of my new favorite spots for croissants.

Glory Hole Doughnuts is a beloved Toronto establishment with two locations, one in Parkdale and another at Gerrard and Coxwell. They offer a variety of donuts including yeast, cake, and vegan options to cater to different dietary preferences. The menu features delectable flavors like lime coconut cream, salted caramel brownie, and the popular toast and butter donut. Owned by pastry chef Ashley Jacot De Boinod, these handcrafted treats are made fresh daily.
Prob the best donuts, not a fake review did not receive any free items. Watch out for my 5/5 stars one though 😂
Edwin — Google review
We finally got to try Glory Hole Doughnuts, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. The dough itself was incredibly smooth and soft—clearly made with care and quality ingredients. We especially enjoyed the berry and fruity flavors; they were vibrant, not overly sweet, and had a nice balance that really stood out. However, at $3.95 per donut, we felt the pricing was on the higher side. While the quality is definitely there, it’s hard to fully justify the price, especially when compared to other artisan donut spots in the city. For that reason, I’d give this place 4 stars. The donuts are tasty and worth trying at least once, but it may not be an everyday treat unless you're okay with the premium pricing. Would still recommend it for anyone curious or looking to treat themselves—especially if you enjoy unique or fruit-forward flavors!
Paula R — Google review
Had the opportunity to try a Glory Hole Doughnut. They have been around since 2012 in the East York community. They take pride in their pronounceable ingredients and that everything is hand made. I considered these doughnuts as gourmet doughnuts. The size is huge, and the quality and the price matched it. I had the fudge dip mini. The other one I almost considered was the cinnamon sugar mini. When I’m trying something new, I usually go for the most basic flavour to be able to compare and give a honest review. In overall, the fudge dip mini wasn’t overly sweet. The doughnut is fluffy with a slight chew to it at the end. My coworker, she loves it and finds it dangerously close to her home. Another one, she said it was good too. Me, I’m happy that someone brought it into the office to brighten everyone’s day. The doughnuts were all so pretty. This is not a nuts free bakery.
M G — Google review
What did you like about these doughnuts? Close to home. They are made freshed. They are a bit smaller than normal doughnuts I've had for $3.95. The doughnuts were fluffy and soft, and there were a lot of different flavors to choose from. The service was amazing, which made the experience a lot better.

PLEASE don't shutter or redo your business plan. You're already fabulous and have the best donuts in the country.... Perhaps, the would! Keep making amazing donuts! I will NEVER dare to ask how you get the hole in each donut, just like we will NEVER know the Cadbury secret.... 🤔 Maybe the hole and the cream are from the same happy employee??? their donuts are to die for! I’ve tried the cinnabun and toast & butter. unfortunately this location is closing at the end of the month :( EDIT: i tried their cinnamon buns that are only served on sundays. absolutely scrumptious!! I’d probably get them several times a week if they were sold everyday. I don’t know their name but the employee that has served me every time is very very kind and a pleasure to speak with. I will be back plenty of times until it closes. apparently there will be a community party for their closing on august 30!

Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Toast and Butter Donut, Ferrero Rocher Donut - I've always underrated donuts, but not after these entered my mouth. So light and airy with an attractive spring back once bitten into, with a delicate fry for a crisp bottom that's not overly oily. The Ferrero Rocher was the star today, dipped in an indulgent Nutella hazelnut icing and sprinkled with crushed hazelnuts to add another layer of texture and nuttiness. Additionally, if you like the rich sweetness of butter tarts, you can have them in a donut form as well. EDIT: Butter Pecan - the donut itself is still top notch. Fluffy, spongy and airy. However, this flavour is too cloyingly sweet for me, but sweet tooths may love this.

Barbershop Patisserie is a charming patisserie located in Toronto's West End, founded by Jill Barber with the support of her community. The bakery offers a delightful array of sweet and savory treats, including tarts, cookies, sausage rolls, and lemon bichons. Influenced by French and English pastry traditions, the patisserie's offerings combine elegant traditions with rustic charm. Visitors can indulge in European-style pastries that are as photogenic as they are delicious.
It's a hit. They're not f in around. Hand rolled puff pastry is the signature, buttery, light and crispy. I had the sausage roll and the chicken pot pie. Both were great. Seasoning on the sausage was flawless with just the right balance of savoury spices without being over powering. Chicken pie was creamy and hearty, if I would critique I'd say they could add more filling volume and salt, but both were satisfying and delicious. Service was lovely, friendly and helpful. They could use a small counter or high top and bar stools though.

SO good! Third year in a row getting my birthday cake here: the butterscotch apple mille feuille is unbelievable. And the pastries... All of them are incredibly good! 100% recommended
Berta C — Google review
I popped into this little spot specifically for the Lemon Bichon after a friend insisted it was a must-try - and that I had to pick the one that looked the most burnt. Challenge accepted. If you’re a lemon dessert lover like me, this bichon au citron is going to blow your mind. Think of a flaky, golden puff pastry, similar in shape and size to a turnover, but filled with the dreamiest lemon curd. The outside is coated in sugar, some of which is caramelized for that sticky, slightly crisp texture. The contrast of tangy, tart, and sweet, paired with the buttery pastry layers? Absolute perfection. This might just be my new favourite lemon treat. There’s no indoor seating, but trust me, it’s worth grabbing to go - or better yet, snag a seat on the bench out front and savour every bite.
Angela A — Google review
My go to spot for lemon bichon. I love how irregular shaped the pastry is and how buttery it is. There is a nice crunch when you bite into it because of the caramelized sugar followed by a nice chewy texture. The inside has a very small filling of lemon for a zesty flavour. I have been here 3-4 times and it has never disappointed.

Simply the best dark chocolate cake in the city. Barbershop seems to be known for its Lemon Bichon and this AMAZING cake, but man the sausage rolls, the almond croissants, the apple turnovers, etc are all amazing as well. Just order anything in the window and be happy you found a slice of joy in your day no matter what it is.

EVERYTHING here is 5 Star! Treat yourself to a chocolate chip cookie (featuring a sparse sprinkle of sea salt on top) and pair it with one of their foamy, rich cappacinos. Absolutely delicious. All of the cakes and pastries are so flavorful and gorgeous, too! Tried both the lemon meringue and deep chocolate cake -- OMG! -- and the strawberry rhubarb pastries, lemon bichon are fantastic. Definitely the best sausage rolls in the city! Am taking bite-sized sausage rolls as an appetizer for Thanksgiving dinner. Love their brisket, and chicken pot pies as well -- delectable. Dufflet Pastries Wholesale Bakery, located in downtown Toronto, was established by Dufflet Rosenberg in 1975. The bakery supplies a variety of desserts to grocery shops, restaurants, cafes, and caterers across Canada. All their treats are handmade from scratch and include cakes and cookies for any occasion. Customers can visit the Queen West storefront or order ahead for pickup at two locations or delivery via Uber Eats.
I love to go to their pop up sales. I wish they had more brownies. I couldn't get there early enough to get any today. Instead I picked tarts.

Bought a caramel cakelet, the icing did not taste like caramel at all, rather it tasted like coffee. The cake itself was not at all good, it wasn’t even as good as a cheap chocolate cake. 18$ down the drain. I emailed them twice, they did not respond, so clearly they don’t care about consumers. Do not buy it if you like caramel, chocolate cake, or good icing.

Two stars for the excellent cakes over the years. ..and I mean years!! First, we can't go downtown to get cakes, then longos stops carrying the one we like... can't find and 3 of them we'd be ohk with. The retail listing shows many places but no one has the ones we want. Plus the last one tasted off due to being frozen. No more preorder pickup. Ughhh Pure craziness!
Andrea C — Google review
Used to be the perfect shop for grabbing the perfect cake. Now, after many years, I suddenly can’t get my daughter’s favourite cake, because they’ve decided to focus entirely on corporate sales to companies that can’t even order the cake themselves. Good ol’ executive greed.
Alex P — Google review
Horrible decision to close down their retail location. Really not the same fresh versus frozen/ refrigerated for days in store. Those who are hoping for their signature light and fluffy buttercream icing will be disappointed. One of the worst cases of selling out I have ever seen. Never forget where you came from, retail presence is important and gives legitimacy that"just another brand in a grocery store aisle" can't. I suspect this company will fall out of favour in a few years because no one will know how great the origin was and it has no more story except as commercial bakery.
Caton L — Google review
After over 3 decades of cake buying from Dufflets for all of our occasions, I am saddened and disappointed to have to bid adieu to Dufflet's. It was a slow parting as first the Queen street store was closed and only pick up from Norseman and now even that is shut down as Dufflet's chooses to ignore their loyal customer base and focus entirely on corporate sales. Buying from large chains is unreliable as the cakes we have tried have been not as fresh and they cannot guarantee a pre-ordered cake. It was nice while it lasted. The 5 stars are in honour of the countless cakes we've enjoyed from Dufflets over the years - it's the end of an era. We'd really appreciate it if anyone reading this review could recommend a replacement cake supplier of similar quality.
Denise O — Google review
I've heard a lot of good things about Dufflet cakes, and so I was very excited to give it a try. I bought a mocha cake for a celebration and most of us were disappointed. The inside of the cake was dry. The outside buttercream tasted old and was also semi hard despite having been in room temp for about 1-1.5 hrs. No one finished their slice of cake.
Ava M — Google review
I'm disappointed by the systems put in place for placing and tracking orders here. Last year, I tried to have a cake delivered around this time for somebody's birthday. I received no status of delivery update, even on the expected day. I ended up calling the place in the evening and they said they couldn't deliver the cake because of the ice storm (which was understandable. It would have been nice to be notified before though). The staff on the phone guaranteed me store credit for when I purchased the cake. Fast forward to now. I called the number provided online to place and order, letting them know about the store credit. I sent them an email with my order confirmation. The person on the phone said there was no record that the cake wasn't delivered so they couldn't provide me store credit. All in all I wish there was better communication here because now I have a lack of trust in ordering from here again.

I really had a pleasant experience here, Nathan my server was so nice and always asking if I need coffee refills or something else. Shout out to the maitre d due to his very welcoming personality. It was busy by the patio but had 2 tables for me to choose for inside. I had drip coffee and basque cheesecake and I really enjoyed it. There’s two washroom downstairs but no lift, it would be an issue for ppl with mobility issues. I spent $16 for coffee+basque cheesecake+Tip, which is a steal. I will be back.

We were thrilled that many of staff remained when ownership changed, and the food is as delicious as ever (spicy bacon sandwiches, quiche, lemon twists, flourless chocolate cake, and their latte bowls are some of our favourites…). The service (especially at their take out window) is also great. I don’t often call in my take out order, but when I do, the person who picks up the phone always remembers my order and my name. It’s a nice place to enjoy a weekend brunch too.

Absolutely delicious! I bought a loaf of brioche bread and a spinach, feta, and roasted red pepper quiche from here to share with friends. The quiche was so creamy and the crust was light and flaky. I've never had a quiche like that, the feta and egg mixture blended so well. I would 10/10 get another one from here. The brioche bread was just the right amount of sweet and was really fluffy. I used it to make French toast and it was a hit. I ordered both of these for pick up so I can only rate the atmosphere based on the pickup window. The attendant was really nice and the black board and overall vibe of bonjour brioche was excellent.

Follow @bredgyeats on IG for more food posts! Bonjour, and goodbye, I'm going up to my room to enjoy my triple banana pudding in peace. The trio of the creamy banana pudding base, moist banana bread chunks, and caramelized slices of banana bring a rich taste with hints of creamy vanilla, and finished with a drizzle of caramel to add a sweet richness in each bite. Flourless Chocolate Cake - Decadent and rich chocolate cake but quite heavy and dense. Exterior was slightly more crisp, and texture was smooth. Chocolate taste had depth, like at least two different tastes of chocolate. Also not overly sweet. Spicy Bacon - Bacon had a nice balance of flavour, not overly salty with a slight sweetness. Cheddar provided some sharpness and creaminess along with the avocado to increase depth, and tomato for a fresh ingredient. Baguette was still crisp even with takeout but got a little chewy after a bit.

Bonjour Brioche was an amazing brunch spot, the place was simple and cozy. The service was great and everything was delicious. Highly recommend the salmon eggs Benedict, probably the best eggs Benedict I've had and the French toast was amazing as well. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try most of the pastries as they were sold out (around 1PM). If you want to try the brioche or croissants I suggest going earlier.

Some of the most amazing breakfast in the city! We love both the indoor space and the outdoor patio. Also there to go window with fresh pastries is amazing. Even their little baguettes don’t compare to others. Can’t recommend this place enough. I usually take guests here when they visit from out of town

Filipino restaurant

Casa Manila is a charming Filipino restaurant that captures the essence of traditional Filipino cuisine in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. With its tropical decor, this casual dining spot features an inviting patio where guests can savor globally inspired dishes. A highlight of the menu is the specially curated Kamayan feast sets, perfect for celebrating Filipino Restaurant Month 2022.
We live an hour outside of the city but we drive here every few months for the food. No other Filipino restaurant in the GTA comes close. Everything is fresh and authentic. Homemade longanisa and tocino, nothing processed. We get the sisig fries every time. Every dish we've tried is good, we've been coming here for over five years and the food just gets better.
Dianna B — Google review
Decor of the restaurant did not disappoint. I recommend their weekday lunch combos if you are new to Filipino cuisine. You need to call a day in advance to reserve the Kamayan (for the nice large banana leaves display). Minimum for 2 persons and there is extra surcharge. The dishes that we ordered, leaned toward sour taste (including the Chicken Adobo). The chicken meat tasted overcooked to our palate. Overall, it was a new culinary experience for us.
R&A S — Google review
The decor in this restaurant is out of this world! 11/10! Attention to detail, colours, bits and bobs, just really nice and you definitely feel transported out of Toronto! The person who took our order was efficient and answered our questions, but didn’t really smile. The second person who worked the floor was much nicer, very welcoming and gave us insight and information about their culture! We ordered a sizzling sisig, coconut ginger vegetables and an Ube drink. The drink was way too sweet for my liking, it was a little difficult to finish it and it was thick! It was marketed as a drink, not a smoothie so I was pretty surprised when it arrived. The coconut dish came next and it was delicious, very tasty with the rice. While we were eating the dish, we noticed that our sisig did not arrive, we actually thought they had forgotten and it was a bummer. But then it came out and it was delicious! I had asked for the pepper sauce on the side, but I thought they mixed it in with the food. Turns out they had forgotten it, so I asked for it and it made the dish even better! I wish they had brought it out sooner so I could’ve eaten it all with the coconut dish. I liked the pepper sauce so much that I asked to purchase it, our server said they don’t sell it, but the second person I asked was able to make some sort of arrangement and sold us some! One of the best sauces I’ve had! This spot is more on the pricey side for the food you get. They also do a little ceremony when you order the “Kamayan” dish complete with drums! I’d visit again, but I’d like for all my dishes to come at the same time :) Edit: I came back and our server (could be the owner) was amazing! She paid very close attention to us and really took care of our order! We got the vegan kamayan :)

Apparently this place was great many years ago—my boyfriend recommended it he used to visit a lot, so we decided to visit. Unfortunately, the portions were very small and the food tasted quite bland. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience at all. He was so surprised as well. Never again

My ratings are all over the place here. I have been wanting to attend Casa Manila on 879 York Mills for a while now and I kept delaying because I ordered food at another spot and kept thinking it would be too much stuff. I have got into the Ube. I have not ever attended a Filipino restaurant so, upon entering I was hit with authentic vibes. The ambiance of wood, plants and art crafts that just got you looking everywhere. I was early and had been greeted by a nice young man who greeted with a hello and had given me my much anticipated order! When I got the bag it was light and my first thought was WTF! I had ordered a $14.29 DP UBE Sans Rival slice cake. I had expected the slice to have some weight to it. Not to mention I was being scolded in my car for spending that much on a slice but I thought it would be a big slice. I got in my car with this light bag but I really kept thinking all was well. I got home and my first attention was to rip the paper bag and MAN the cake slice was itty bitty and half the cake was stuck on the top of the plastic container. Now please hear me the cake taste good but, that little piece was a insult to my pockets lol. I have included pictures and I put a pen beside it so you can see how truly small it is. I was told making a UBE cake is a challenge but, if that is the case then charging for that price should make the slice worth it to the consumer as I was disappointed. Very disappointed. I can't comment on the food as none was purchased but I have included pictures. Parking is tight in this location and it can be busy too with the other restaurants so drive with caution and patience.

Not worth it. The food is overpriced, bland, and the portions are small—We almost haven't finish our lunch as portions is so small. To be specific, our sinigang only has 4 shrimps for $28! Our Caldereta, just 5-6 small pieces of meat for the same price(you can count on the pic yourself as that's just a shallow counter about 1 inch thick so there's nothing more beneath that). Absolutely disappointing. I rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant hit every negative point. I feel scammed.
RC T — Google review
The service took forever. It was only 3 tables and they didn’t check on us for the first 15min with as much as water. The food came out cold and dry. The pork for example had a huge heap of rice but not enough sauce or meat. Would not dine here again… However i liked the atmosphere and the decor and music was great.
Rocky S — Google review
Edited to reply to the owner: I am never coming back to the restaurant and I hope others don't go either. Worst dine in experience I've had. We reserved our Kamayan experience a week in advanced, received the invoice for our meal, and paid the deposit. Arrived at the restaurant at our reservation time of 5:30 and got seated. Waited for around 45 minutes (6:15) as we saw other tables get served and asked our server when the food was coming. He "checked" with the kitchen and said the food was being prepared. Afterwards, he finally brought out the first course for our RESERVED meal. At 6:30, an hour after we had been seated, we ask our server about our food again, causing a second server to come to our table to confirm our reservation. At 6:40, they bring out our second course, 25 minutes after the first one and 70 minutes after we sat down. Finally got served at 6:50 and finished our meal in less time than it took for the first course to arrive. Throughout our wait, we got no explanation as to why our food was taking so long outside of variations of "our kitchen is very busy." It took multiple times of about our food before it seemed like they were actually making our meal. I could understand if we walked in and ordered half the menu, but this was a meal where we put in our orders a week in advanced and told them when we were going to eat. This also wasn't a one-off instance as multiple tables around us also waited 45 minutes to an hour for their food to final arrive. The most disappointing part of it all was that it seemed the owner was too busy chatting with their regulars to take the time to finish cooking our meal. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

Persian restaurant
Pomegranate Restaurant is a cozy Persian eatery located in Little Italy, offering a menu filled with authentic Iranian and Middle Eastern dishes. The restaurant is known for its richly spiced stews, including the popular fesenjan made with ground walnuts and pomegranate. Other must-try items include the braised lamb shank, kashk-e bademjan dip, Shirin Polo, and Aloo Gheysi.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Very authentic persian food with good quality ingredients. The decoration of the whole restaurant is so detailed and gorgeous. i felt like i was back in Iran.

What should I say 🤔. The location is good, the atmosphere, and authentic music is good as well. The food is just OK. The service: they refused to split our bill ( group of 6). Is it a Joke? Are you a restaurant or What? The 18 % tip was already included. So clients should pay 18% for service, calculating their bills by themselves? It's ridiculous. The evening was ruined.
Nataliya V — Google review
Among all the Persian restaurants I’ve tried in downtown, I’d say Pomegranate is easily one of the best. The portions aren’t as large as what you typically get at Persian spots uptown, but every bite is full of flavor. I tried the Morghe-Torsh for the first time and really enjoyed it. The lamb shank, served with baghali polo, was also cooked perfectly—tender and flavorful. The only thing I found a bit underwhelming was the side with the Morghe-Torsh, which was just a few lettuce leaves. What really stood out to me, though, was the nostalgic Persian décor and warm, authentic vibes—it adds so much to the dining experience.

Very good and authentic Persian dishes. Service was extremely good. Very good value for money. I highly recommend to try the place
Miggs — Google review
The restaurant is beautiful and charming. However the dining experience was a bit below expectations. Portions were average but felt a little pricey. The Kashk e Bademjoon dip and Bastani Akbar Mashti dessert were definitely the highlights with great flavors. The mains were a bit disappointing though. The rice could have been more flavorful and the sides could be better to help bring the dishes together. The flavours were a little overwhelming. Reservation is recommended as it gets busy, but parking is a nightmare.
Kriteeka S — Google review
I really love this restaurant. It's beautifully designed in a traditional style, which immediately sets the right atmosphere. One thing that stands out is the owner's partner although she is not Persian, she knows more about the history of Iran and its cuisine than many Iranians I know (I apologize if she is not the owner's partner; I guess that is what I was told years ago). She is the most experienced and usually the main person to take orders. Her deep knowledge and genuine respect for the culture and food are truly impressive. She's also incredibly helpful and detailed when explaining dishes, which is great if you're unsure about what to try. The service is always warm and professional, and the food is absolutely heavenly. It's consistently delicious; I've never had a bad experience here, either with the food or the service. Maybe, one constructive comment: the portions are smaller compared to other Persian food places and the prices are higher. BUT I think we are paying for good quality and service which is fine. Thank you to the owner and all the staff, especially the talented cooks. You’re doing an amazing job!

The restaurant's theme is really well done, creating a fun and immersive atmosphere. However, I found the food to be just okay, nothing particularly memorable unfortunately. Eva's Original Chimneys is a dessert shop in central European cities that specializes in chimney cakes - a pastry made from doughnuts and ice cream. The treats are freshly baked using a traditional-style rotisserie grill, just like on the streets of Budapest.
Eva’s original on Bloor is a great spot after dinner or just for a sweet treat. The cones are done freshly in front of you and the selection of combinations a terrific. Have been here a few times and well worth it. Tried the Dubai Chocolate cone and it was delicious. Highly recommended try it and thank me later. ❤️enjoy!!!!

The Dubai chocolate sundae is way overpriced at $10+ for such a small portion. It tasted great but would never get it again. Better opt for a chimney to get your money’s worth! The rest of the menu looks amazing though.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute must-try in downtown Toronto! The Chimney Cone Ice Cream is a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. The cones are freshly made, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the ice cream flavors are mouthwatering. I recently tried Eva’s Original Chimneys and it was such a fun and unique experience! We ordered two chimney cones—one mango and one tiramisu—and it was my first time trying this kind of dessert. The combination of warm, freshly baked dough with ice cream was something totally new for me, and I really enjoyed it. Watching the cones being prepared right in front of us added an extra layer of excitement to the visit, and both flavors were delicious in their own way—sweet, creamy, and super satisfying. The only downside was the atmosphere of the place, which felt a bit neglected and could definitely use a refresh. But overall, the food itself made it worth the visit. If you’re in the mood to try something different and tasty, Eva’s is definitely worth checking out!

Overrated and expensive. Flavor -icecream has the base McDonald icecream level flavor so you're just paying extra for the additional stuff that goes on top. Quality - looks amazing but hope you ask for a cup because it's gonna start dripping down your clothes even before you get out of the store. Overall... The ice cream and cones are unique and Instagram-worthy, making it a must-try for any dessert lover in Toronto!
I like the flavours that they offer here, specially the Pandan and Ube. I also like the texture of their ice cream. It’s a pretty good amount that you get for one scoop/ serving. I’ve been back several times now and always keep it in mind when I’m in the area to stop by for some more.

This is one of those places you check out because of the cool Instagram and TikTok posts, but honestly, the taste doesn’t live up to the hype. Sure, it’s a unique experience and the ice cream looks interesting (black or purple colors definitely catch your eye), but the flavor was really disappointing. It didn’t taste like ice cream at all. The flavor was strange, and all I could really taste was coconut, which I didn’t enjoy. There were even small bits of coconut in it that made the texture kind of off-putting. If you’re going just to snap a few pics for social media, go for it. But if you actually care about how your dessert tastes, I wouldn’t recommend it. That said, the staff were super friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The shop itself is nicely decorated, but when we visited, there was no AC or fan running, it felt like a sauna while we waited in line.

Popped into iHalo Krunch and left with two cones and sticky fingers — worth it. Tried Strawberry Milk and Matcha Nut (matcha + ube). The strawberry one was nostalgic in the best way — like melted strawberry Pocky — and the matcha surprised me by leaning sweet rather than earthy. No bitterness, just smooth and mellow. Inside vibe? Instagram-friendly to the max — pink piano, pastel walls, neon glow. Aesthetic game: strong. It’s the kind of spot that’s made for a cute date or a casual flex. A fun vibe and the charcoal cone earns style points. Not a life-changing cone, but a fun one — and if you’re already nearby, totally worth the stop.

With west-end locations offering a mix of bistro, bake shop, and cafe vibes, Almond Butterfly caters to those with dietary restrictions without compromising on flavor.
Ok - I want to say that my photo does not do it justice, but it was a beautiful cake. It was creamy, rich and had a distinct coffee flavour in the icing. The cookies on top were a great touch as well, and it certainly was enough for 12-14 portions as advertised. I thought that it would be far less, but the cake was huge. I picked it up almost exactly at my set pick up time and it was quick. If you’re looking for a gluten free cake in the GTA, please try out this shop!

Nice gluten free bakery. Prices are a little high, but that’s normal for gluten free. It was very busy and the line moved slow at first, but everyone is excited to try the coffee and baked goods. I would’ve liked to see some pastries like croissants, but they are harder to make gluten free I am sure. I had one of the cookies, which was big and sweet.

This was just a great find west of the U of T St. George campus and the Spadina streetcar. Handheld sandwiches took about 15 minutes for our orders, and they were served warm and were great with plenty of fresh veggies. Gluten-free bread was soft yet firm in holding the sandwiches together. Nuts present, with one peanut butter cookie offering. GF cupcake with no nuts was not a cross-contamination issue for us with also a peanut allergy. There are 5 bar seats facing our the window and a couple small tables outside.

Fantastic iced soy latte, I got it every time! The baked goods are incredible, even compared to ones with gluten. In many cases (unless they're also vegan), I couldn't even tell they were gluten-free. If also vegan or dairy-free, things are often missing something, like moisture or texture. I also tried most of the cupcakes: -vanilla/chocolate is excellent -PB cup with chocolate cupcake base is the BEST imo -chocolate espresso is very good -s'mores is okay My favorite baked item is the Paleo Muffin! Dense, yummy, and moist. The peanut butter cookie and sugar cookies are good, but a little crumbly. The chocolate chip cookie (not vegan) is EXCELLENT! Chewy, rich, and well-balanced. The banana pecan muffin is also very good. The hot chocolate is creamy (with whole milk, of course) and delicious. The peanut butter oat energy bites are yummy, too! They often have free cupcake samples and offer day-old baked goods at reduced cost, which I often bought. This is my favorite cafe of a vast many in Toronto!

Normally almond butter butterfly is a 10/10, 5 stars but today one of my cinnamon buns arrived half the size of the other :/ kind of bummed but happy I had them. They’re still delicious just a shame that one is so much smaller

The flourless orange almond cake slice was moist and not too overly sweet. They also sell cupcakes, muffins, coffee, tea and smoothies. For savoury items, they serve all-day breakfast sandwiches, handhelds and flatbreads.

I've never been to a bakery dedicated to gluten-free with so many vegan options. They taste better than most cookies. I'd put them up as the top tier cookie experience. Just fantastic baked goods. They kindly explained to me how they make their baked goods, what kind of flours they use, and some recommendations for me. Highly recommend you try out their gluten-free vegan stuff, it tastes just as good as any excellent baked goods!

Tori's Bakeshop is a charming bakery located in two spots - the Beaches and the Canary District. It specializes in organic, plant-based desserts, offering a variety of flavors such as vanilla, salted dark chocolate, mini-donuts, and seasonal options like Pineapple Upside-Down. The bakery prides itself on using natural and organic ingredients to create delicious treats like their famous melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.
My latest discovery on Queen street East. The bakeshop has an unassuming front entrance and is easy to miss - I am so happy I found it. A beautiful and subtly decorated interior feels very cozy, I loved the colour theme - subdued mint/green (with matching "for here" cups!). the counter display is a feast for eyes (and stomach of course!) - I tried a savoury hand pie (with mushroom/lentils filling) and it was absolutely delicious (warmed up). I can't wait for my next visit at the store. Besides the baked goods there is an espresso bar, pressed juices and a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All food is vegan.

You'd also be hard-pressed to guess that these treats are completely vegan that kind of reminds me of childhood birthday parties with their chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and donuts.

Nice atmosphere and service, but inedible gluten free pastries. As someone who has tried the majority of gluten free bakeries in Toronto and countless storebought goods, it’s ludicrous that this bakery is charging $5.93 for a single black forest cupcake. The cupcake had a weird texture, it was like munching on uncooked quinoa in between cake crumb. The frosting was overwhelmingly sweet and not creamy at all. I’ve had plenty of good vegan frosting at other bakeries—this was not it. There was very little cherry filling and it should have been a jam-like consistency, instead I think they just soaked dried cherries in sugar syrup. Not to mention the black forest cupcake is a “seasonal” flavor which is how the bakery justifies an extra $0.75 surcharge. Last I checked, dried cherries are available year-round so I’m confused and you should be too.

On a wet and chilly November day like today, coming upon a place like this is literal heaven on earth! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the aroma of freshly baked desserts and brewed coffee! I got their lavender London fog and brownie cupcake! Can't wait to pass by again!

Located in the beaches on the corner of Queen and Balsam. There is on street parking out front and also on the side streets. Very friendly crew and great products. Grabbed an assorted. Box of pastries to enjoy and could not be any happier. They have both regular and gluten free goods for all to enjoy with their large selection of beverages. Will definitely swing by more often to sample their other goodies

Plant based bakery offering a variety of sweet and savoury goods. - Potato Focaccia: A bit dry, nice caramelized onion undertone, good density and a bit on the greasy side. - Savoury Scone: could not taste the sun dried tomato but lovely flavour overall. - Peach tart: sweet and good but not enough filling and too much pastry. - Cinnamon bun: excellent, very good. - Butter tart: a bit plain and dry, nice sweetness though. - BLT Sandwich: very good flavour but WAY too greasy because of the coconut bacon. The pesto is wonderful though. Service is friendly and helpful.

A selection of vegan and glutein free fresh, organic, delishious treats. I come for the delishiousness and the cozy setting, missed out on the soups, but they do have that and sandwiches too. Today it smelled like cinnamon, so it had to be cinnamon roll :) Come try it some time, you will jot be disappointed!

Ice cream shop
Arctic Bites is a Thai-style ice cream shop located on Baldwin Street in Toronto, just off of McCaul and south of the University of Toronto. They specialize in made-to-order ice cream rolls that are prepared right in front of you. The ice cream is rolled on a frozen grill at -20 degrees Celsius and topped with an assortment of treats such as cookie crumbs, fudge, pocky, cereal, cookies, and fruit.
Rolled ice cream is great. The ice cream comes out really flavourful and the cream doesn’t dominate the taste. It allows whatever ingredients they use to shine through. Really great quality rolls even though one of their machines was over heating from all the orders they were taking. Wouldn’t recommend trying to sit inside though; they didn’t really work on the interior so there’s not much ability to sit down anywhere. Get it to go
David X — Google review
Arctic Bites serves ice cream rolls with an abundance of toppings served in a modest store. Ice cream rolls is ice cream with the imaginative twist of it being served as coils rather than scoops. They are prepared made to order on a frozen griddle and the liquid ingredients are homogenized while constantly working and mixing them together into a solid. I love how Arctic Bites uses fresh fruit in their fruit Polarolls (mango and strawberry). The price ($8.8) is worth it due to the labour-intensive process of making the rolls fresh to order and the size of the serving. The only note I have is that the store front was quite littered when I went.
Maya H — Google review
I recently had the opportunity to try rolled ice cream at Artic Bites. While the experience was intriguing, I must admit that the sweetness of the treat left me with mixed feelings, resulting in a solid three-star rating. The presentation of the rolled ice cream was undoubtedly a visual feast. The delicately rolled layers, artfully arranged in a cup, were a treat for the eyes. Each roll boasted a vibrant color and was topped with an array of enticing toppings, making it difficult to resist digging in. However, as I took my first bite, I was met with an overwhelming wave of sweetness. The base ice cream itself was sugary to the point where it overpowered the flavors of any mix-ins I had chosen. The rolled ice cream we tried had a creamy texture that was undeniably pleasing, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by an excessive level of sweetness. While the presentation and the ability to customize the flavors were impressive, the overpowering sweetness hindered my ability to fully enjoy the dessert. In comparison to other rolled ice creams I've had in the past, this one fell short, leaving me with the feeling that I've had better.

Just visited this evening and we got the matcha, Thai milk tea and earl grey flavoured rolled ice creams. They were all really good. The Thai milk tea rolled ice cream came with grass jelly making it actually feel like I was drinking a bubble tea and having ice cream at the same time!! The matcha rolled ice cream was so delicious. This was my first rolled ice cream experience in Toronto and they did not disappoint. They are located in a cute spot and we would go again! The workers there were nice too! I recommend adding a few tables and chairs for customers to enjoy their ice cream right there but other than, everything was perfect!!

We tried their Earl Grey peanuts and strawberry ice cream, and they were absolutely delicious. The combination of premium ingredients, skilled craftsmanship, and friendly service makes Arctic Bites a must-visit spot. Treat yourself to their refreshing and unique desserts—you won't be disappointed!

Great location to get rolled ice cream! The ice cream had good texture (almost like it was a bit chewy) and very creamy and not too sweet. The portions were also quite big. Would recommend the strawberry and mango flavours! Service was quite quick given they had to roll out the ice cream and it was a bit busy on a Friday evening. Inside decor was very aesthetic and cute.

Mon K Patisserie is a charming bakery and cafe located in East York, offering a unique fusion of traditional French and Japanese-inspired baked goods and desserts. Run by a husband-and-wife team from Osaka, the patisserie showcases an array of delectable treats that reflect a blend of Japanese and French culinary influences. From classic butter croissants to seasonal matcha Mont Blancs, the pastries are known for their balanced flavors without being overly sweet.
Absolutely the best bakery! Have been coming to Mon K for years and always blown away by how delicious everything is! The croissants (chocolate almond, cinnamon, bechamel and bacon) and danishes (blueberry) are phenomenal! Incredibly flaky, buttery pastry -- delicate and flavourful. We buy their Chestnut buche de Noel every Christmas and it's always a showstopper. Their quiches and ham and cheese baguette sandwiches are super for lunch. They always have a weekly special -- never hesitate to grab one! Highly recommend!!

The prices are reasonable and every pastry I tried was delicious. I went a bit late, so some of the ones I wanted were already sold out. But I picked up almost everything that was left in the display fridge (except the whole cakes), and they were all great. I especially liked that nothing was too sweet. The level of sweetness was just right. Not really a complaint, but if I had to point out something, everything is takeout only, even if you want to dine in. Also, maybe because it’s so popular, many items sell out quickly. I really wanted to try the strawberry yogurt something and the chocolate something cake, but they were already gone. I live a bit far, so I’m not sure when I can go again, but I definitely want to come back for more!

My family recently got some savoury and sweet pastries from this little patisserie and everything was absolutely lovely! For savoury, we got their Croissant Sandwiches including Egg Salad and Ham & Cheese. Both were flaky, delicious, and you could tell were freshly made! For sweet we got a Dark Chocolate Tart and two Matcha Tiramisu cakes, which were all pieces of art. The Matcha Tiramisu was creamy, luscious, light and not overly sweet. They were my favourite of the whole bunch and were absolutely DIVINE! We also got four of their Cream Puffs and one Coffee Chocolate Tart. The Cream Puffs were so fluffy and not overly sweet. The Coffee Chocolate Tart was also fantastic. Their other pastries and danishes are luscious! The staff were helpful and prompt at packing our rather large to-go order! This is a lovely place for pastries, whether you’re craving sweet or savoury!

Did you know French croissants made in Tokyo taste better than those made in Paris? Fortunately, we're able to experience the same Japanese influence locally, right here. Everything this little pastry shop makes is the best, including a high variety of French puffed pastry as well as beautiful pies and cakes, prepared sandwiches, salads and more. You will not be disappointed. Upd 06/15/2024 Always the best, Absolutely!

Amazing pastries and staff. We had the raspberry jam French beignet and the French toast. The French toast was amazing, do not sleep on that. The raspberry jam was very good. It is a little pricey and they only take credit over $10 so bring cash or debit. I highly recommend this bakery.

Vegan Danish Bakery is a charming cafe and bakery with locations in Thornhill and Queen West, offering a delightful array of all-vegan treats such as cakes, pastries, waffles, and sandwiches. The menu includes traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches alongside sweet indulgences like danishes and vegan cheesecakes. Visitors can enjoy the cozy atmosphere while savoring flakey pastries and decadent cakes.
As a lactose intolerant person, it's rare that I can enjoy bakery items. Finding a place that was filled with safe items is a dream. Everything looked fantastic. The woman working the counter walked through the various items in the display case to help me choose. We narrowed it down to a few items, and she offered a sample of the vegan soft serve. We added a cup to our order. The cherry danish was excellent, and so was the Boston cream tart, although it was a bit messy. We are saving the other treats. We will return next time we're in the neighborhood.

I wanted to really love this place but the staff weren’t that friendly. The atmosphere is nice but I felt unwelcome a bit because they weren’t that friendly. I don’t think I’ll be returning but it was nice to try it out. The matcha latte wasn’t that good either, barely had any matcha . I will say though aesthetically it’s cute here.

This place is a jewel in Thornhil. All of their pastries are vegan. No milk and no egg. This is heaven for me. I got macha and a piece of brownie. They were good, the brownie was dry that’s the reason I gave four starts for food. I wil’ be back with my friends for sure.

Great vegan food!! Not only the baked goods are delicious but also the savory foods. Like the "meatball" sub, or the "tuna" sandwich, or the "ham & cheese" croissant. They are all so so good. The baked goods are incredible. Turnovers, muffins, cupcakes and "cheesecakes" are such a treat! It's nice to go somewhere if you're vegan and be sure everything there is indeed vegan. But, the food is good and I'd recommend it to non-vegans too. Why not right?! They also have a nice espresso machine and make great coffee and lattes (oat lattes). Decor and ambiance wise, it's such a cozy little place. Beautifully decorated and nice place to sit and enjoy some great food and conversation. I'll definitely be returning.

Came here to grab some ice cream and bubble tea. Super cool concept to order and pay on a tablet. This place was hard to find at night time because I don’t think they have a lit-up sign. The ambience was super nice and calming. I ordered the sesame ice cream which was wayyyyy better then I thought it would be. I would definitely come here again in the future.

Both locations are my favourite ice cream bars in all of downtown Toronto! The location is cozy and tiny with seating outside to enjoy in the summer. Edit- no indoor seating due to Covid, but very easy contactless ordering system within the store that is fast and efficient. I love that you can try as many flavours as you want before you commit! Also most flavours are not overly sweet which is great in an icecream!
Sabrina P — Google review
May 2021 after reading the reviews, had to try it myself and this didn't disappoint. If you're considering dropping by, your not likely to be disappointed. The ice cream is cremey and flavorful. Had a scoop of the rose pistachio and durian flavors and you could definitely taste it knowingly even with your eyes closed. The hojicha almond ice cream float was also very good, though..... Tapioca perals (bubbles) were a bit hard and if possible, I'd only get the grass jelly. 4.5★ as it is a tad expensive. They have 3 self serve counters labelled A,B, C at this time with covid and one person preparing the food. Not sure if that will change in the future. Easily accessible and in a good location along a popular walking area on Queen St.

Bar Ape Gelato is a small traditional gelato outlet that operates from May to October and offers outdoor seating as well as a serving window. The founders started by selling their fresh-made gelato from a three-wheeled motorcycle, known as an 'ape.' They offer various options including small-batch gelato bars, soft serve, traditional gelato cups, and to-go sundaes with new creative flavors.
During a recent visit to Bar Ape, we were treated to some truly remarkable soft serve. We opted for the special, a Peaches & Cream twist, which artfully combined Ontario peach and sweet cream flavors. We also indulged in the Matcha soft serve. Both choices were exquisite and demonstrated a clear commitment to quality ingredients. The matcha was a standout, presenting a distinct and authentic flavor that balanced beautifully with the soft serve's inherent sweetness. Similarly, the Peaches & Cream was a triumph, its vibrant fruit notes instantly recalling the simple pleasure of eating a perfectly ripe, juicy peach. 10/10 would eat again.

One of the best gelato spots in Toronto! Love the weekly fresh selection of gelatos that change with seasonal fruit that is available. Every time I’ve been it has been awesome. Even though the lines are long, they move quick! Worth the wait for sure.

tried the mango and coconut twist — it was okay, not very flavorful but refreshing. The place is cash only, which was inconvenient, and the wait was surprisingly long for just a scoop of gelato. Overall, not bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

I tried one of the flavours of the week: Raspberry rose thyme. Had it as a soft serve. It was amazing. I licked my little cup dry. It was that amazing and also that hot out today. I took home a chocolate swirl cup. Haven't had that yet but I have high hopes. I need to come here more... even though I live downtown and the bike ride uphill makes you work for the gelato.

First of all, I love this place so much ❤️ I have visited place more than 10times and they were always kind and welcoming. I love how they combine unexpected flavours and create something extraordinary! Every time I visit there I always try at least 3 different flavours 😂 I think the prices are reasonable because it’s fresh made, clean ingredients, and vegan options. I don’t understand some people think this place would be same as other ice cream places 🤨✋ because it’s NOT. I promise that this place is different than other places. This place is cash only so make sure to bring cash or you wouldn’t get this ice cream from heaven. The last time I went the prices went up to 7dollars (?) but it’s worth it. The portion is bit small but I think it’s good because if you have too much ice cream your stomach wouldn’t feel good. I think they adjusted portion very well making us crave more but leaving us with refreshing taste! Bar Ape ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! There was no wait and even if there is it was about 10minutes! (Raspberry/Pistachio/matcha sundae/lime/guava/and more ❤️) *the flavours change! Make sure to try as many time as you can***

Golden Bubbles Sky City Scarborough is a popular spot offering creative and custom bubble waffles with unique ice cream flavors. The Hong Kong street food classic has become a craze, featuring original and premium versions such as waffles with mochi, cheese stuffing, caramel drizzle, and various ice cream toppings. The place offers delicious Asian ice cream flavors like black sesame, green tea, red bean, and taro.
Golden Bubble in Scarborough offers one of the best bubble waffles I’ve ever had. The variety they offer is impressive, and each waffle we tried was a perfect blend of flavor. The crispiness of the waffle combined with the creamy, sweet toppings made for a delightful treat that I could indulge in over and over again. Their selection caters to all tastes, whether you prefer something fruity, chocolaty, or even with a touch of savory. A special shoutout to Dayle, who served us our waffle. She was really cute, had a warm, friendly attitude, and even posed for some pictures with the waffles. It added a nice personal touch to the experience. The overall vibe at Golden Bubble is relaxed, and it’s a great place to enjoy a sweet treat with friends or family. I highly recommend this spot to any bubble waffle lover!

I enjoyed the strawberry shortcake ice cream. Only thing is I wish the fruits were fresh. I picked out the strawberries. My boyfriend got the cinnamon apple and it was just okay. Service was good and atmosphere was okay. It’s a small spot so no seating to eat. I would go back!

Was not impressed with my visit to this location. I had paid 6:56 pm. The time from waiting to order, placing the order, until pick up was nearly 1 hour. Really? I did not order any of the speciality items. This is for 2 plain waffles. This is the most basic item on your menu. The pictures speak for themselves. They were flimsy as if undercooked? Only 1 out of the 2 was warm to touch through the bag. I do not know how old it was. When I was told it was my order one was already sitting on the counter. If you cannot make the base of all of your food product well, I am not sure why you are in this business. For context, I had placed an order at another place on the same side of the plaza 4 doors down. Then had gone to order the waffles. When I arrived back to pick up my order, my companions, while waiting for me, ended up eating at this place, and had finished their food when I returned back! I would like to kindly ask for a refund.

We were looking for bubble tea after lunch but we found this Brown Sugar bubble waffle. We both want to try this and it looks so yummy. The waffle was made after we ordered and it was hot. When we have the ice cream with waffle, it feels so amazing! The layers are good with the tapioca as well. The service is great and the staff do the order so quickly, we do not need to wait so long! The ambiance is great and the place is clean.

We wanted to try this for a very long time. Glad we finally made it yesterday. It wasn’t busy because we stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and they did a great job with our waffles. They were made fresh on the spot. The shop offered a great variety of flavours and combinations. You can mix & match to pick your favourite toppings or simply pick their signature waffle combinations. We chose one signature waffle and one mix & match. They were both really really good! Both waffles were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The matcha redbean signature waffle came with two scoops of high quality matcha ice cream. The mix & match one we got was taro waffle and we added one scoop of coconut ice cream. The coconut ice cream was really creamy and refreshing. It was made with real coconut. Our overall experience was awesome! We will visit again soon!

The vibes and the treats here were absolutely delicious. They also offer savoury treats like chicken and waffles, too! It also felt like a mini rave in here with the music they were playing. Fairly priced items and a perfect dessert to have after lunch/dinner. Not a big store and only have a small bench where you can sit but it’s no big deal. We happened to be in the area and grabbed half a dozen cookies, and they were delicious! Perfectly soft and chewy, with a gooey centre. They also had many unique flavours to choose from; we really liked the Ooh bae (ube cheesecake cookie with ube jam filling) and Easter surprise (butter cookie with Ferrero egg filling), but all of them were all yummy. The cookies were a good size, and big enough to share as a family.
April C — Google review
I bought a box of 6 for a gift but bought an individual one to try myself. Wow!! The ube cookie is so delicious. Server is very generous to offer to heat it up for me. Soft inside. Perfect sweetness.
Stefany — Google review
OBSESSED! Someone brought the cookies to a work party, and I went straight back to the shop! I don't normally like cookies but this is so good! They are so soft and my fav is the melon one. Best cookie I had so far.
Bonnie B — Google review
Cookies are pretty pricey but they're so good! Definitely worth trying if you've never had them before. They have a ton of unique flavors and I've never had one that wasn't a hit!
Wendy X — Google review
Amazing cookies I'm definitely coming back. I went for the new mango mochi, it was okay I just wish it had more flavour. Unfortunately I think my pandan coconut was too thick so it was a bit underdone Other than that the coffee macadamia and matcha pistachio are definitely going to become a household staple!
Helen ( — Google review
This cookie shop in downtown Toronto is such a gem. Their cookies are varied and creative. Soft and chewy. Real happiness in every bite!!! You won’t get tired of it because they change up their flavors every so often. The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful.

TLDR: tried a different The Night Baker location previously, and enjoyed the one cookie I tried. Visited this location to try the rest that I had on my list, and would order them again. FYI, sometimes the flavors they have in person will outnumber what can be ordered online in my experience! -[UBE TIRAMISU] 🍪 ube cookie, cocoa, with ube marscapone filling 🍪 this cookie is also topped with a lady finger! 🍪 all the flavors work so well together too -[OOH BAE] 🍪 ube, cheesecake cookie, with ube jam filling 🍪 this cookie is another ube one because I freaking love ube haha 🍪 definitely one I'd get again because I love how it wasn't too sweet

Dessert shop
Dainties Macaron is a small, Asian-influenced patisserie located in Chinatown. The shop specializes in macarons and ice cream, with a unique twist on traditional French flavours. Limited seating means it's easy to enjoy the desserts on-the-go, or bring them with you to a park or bench near Toronto's Chinatown.
Very pretty macaroons! Polite staff and tiny location. Not too expensive as well. Not too sweet and I liked that you should keep them refrigerated. You guys can make packages cheaper if someone orders more than 12 or more. I did take out the second time. It was nice that I got a mini card with stamps. Will be collecting!
Valentyna — Google review
The best spot for macarons and ice cream sandwiches! What more can you ask for with a giant macaron ice cream sandwich. Their flavours are all very Asian-inspired, such as HK milk tea, Jasmine tea, Dalgona, etc. but also have a variety of classics like vanilla, chocolate, pistachio. The macarons come in a wider variety of flavours than the macaron ice cream sandwiches. The ice cream is so good and the sandwich is massive—definitely can share with 2 people!
Joy H — Google review
Such a cute, cozy place! I love the variety Dainties offer. I love how well they are made, although I would suggest to add more flavour for someone like me who likes sweetness. The macarons are subtle which is perfect to cater for everyone! After tasting one macaron to the other, I couldn’t tell what flavour I got. Another recommendation: if you are planning to get the butter cream, I highly recommend you eat them once you get it because they melt quickly. Would love to try the icecream version of your macarons next time I’m around the area :)
Mae A — Google review
Interesting selection of flavors. We can later in the day so many flavors were probably sold out. We got a rose and milk and the Oreo flavor. The rose had a very mild flavor. The Oreo had more flavor.
Elizabeth C — Google review
Wow these macarons are some of the best I've ever had; much better than traditional ones. Theres a large variety of very unique flavours, and the center buttercream filling is very plentiful and will leave you satisfied. The ice cream sandwiches are also kept extra cold, so as their temperature rises, the ice cream still stays solid and doesn't lose its shape. Most ice cream sandwiches don't work because the cookies temperature is much hotter than the ice cream and it just melts immediately. Flavours we had included: Apricot Strawberry cheesecake Froot loops Rose latte Earl Grey latte
David X — Google review
Great place for an ice cream macaron! A bit pricey but a nice indulgence! The London fog and hk milk tea are my favorites!
Charles K — Google review
I’ve only been here twice so far and no regrets whatsoever. The variety of flavours for both macarons and ice cream sandwiches are awesome! The quality of these macarons are unbeatable. If you buy 6 or more macarons, there will be no tax. I have bought 9 on both times I have visited as I want to try all of the flavours plus my favourite ones. My top 3 so far are Earl Grey, Strawberry Cheesecake and Hong Kong Milk Tea. As for the ice cream sandwiches, I love London Fog, Hong Kong Milk Tea and Oreo! You can also collect stamps as you go, so if you’re like me who would buy in bulk, you should definitely carry that stamp card with you. The service was also amazing! If you want to try as much flavours as you can, especially their top sellers, you need to arrive early as those would sell out pretty quickly. I’m already planning on when I will be dropping by again to try the last few flavours I haven’t had a chance to try yet LOL

Nestled just a few blocks from UP Express Union Station, Isabella's Donuts on Queen West is a delightful destination for anyone looking to indulge in something unique. This charming shop specializes in mochi donuts, which are crafted using mochi flour, resulting in a deliciously chewy and soft texture that sets them apart from traditional donuts. With a rotating menu of flavors that changes weekly, visitors can expect seasonal delights and special decorations throughout the year—especially during December when festive options abound.
I got recommended Isabella’s a while back and honestly, it blew my mind. I’m a frequent customer of the St Patrick location and I could safely say that the donuts are the best I’ve had. Their flavours change every Monday and they’re quite unique and delicious. I haven’t had all of them however, the flavours I’ve had are quite an experience. I would usually get 3 boxes of 6 for my colleagues, my family and myself not every Monday but on occasion. My colleagues especially look forward to them. The service is always stellar and I’ve only had great experiences with the staff. A little side note. Sign up for their points system, it’s such a good deal. Also follow their socials if you want to know the New Flavour rotation every Monday. Definitely Recommend!
Niel A — Google review
Always awesome coming by here for mochi donuts, one of the best in Toronto downtown. Not as large of a selection in comparison to other locations, but conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Taste and quality are all there. A great option for anyone looking for donuts downtown!
Isaiah G — Google review
Isabella’s started as a humble local donutery in the Beaches but has since expanded across the city. They release new (mostly Asian-inspired) flavours each week while keeping a smaller selection of classics. A few weeks ago, I tried the Bailey’s Brownie, Calamansi Caramel, and Raspberry Pistachio. All were delicious, but my favorite was the Raspberry Pistachio, made with real raspberry purée. My only critique? I wanted way more pistachio drizzle—it was too good, and I felt shortchanged on the deliciousness. I’ve tried many of their flavours but I think Vietnamese Coffee, Mango, Churro and most recently, Carrot Cake and Banana Pudding are standouts! Definitely recommend giving them a try.
Jordana R — Google review
I wanted to love these & have tried them many times now… but 1) the flavours are very bland & way too sweet + 2) they become stale very quick… I bought a box of 6 donuts at 6PM and by 9PM they were already dry and hard…… very sad.
Lolly L — Google review
My first time trying mochi donuts and it is so, so good— though it is quite pricey, it's better than regular donuts for me. The texture is mixed between soft dough and chewy mochi, a little dense but not hard at all. I tried this week's flavour; Milk Tea and it was sweet and light. The sweet cashier offered me another flavor to try for free so I also tried sweet potato brulee, which is surprisingly not too sweet and well balanced. The flavors change every week so definitely going to come back for more! Note that there's only 2-3 sitting area beside photobooth without tables.

Little cute 🍩 shop in the middle of bustling Queen Street! When I walked in, immediately its colourful and peaceful vibe calmed me down :) Here, you can find Unique flavours, balanced sweetness, not greasy donuts, and fresh donuts.
Nazanin B — Google review
While strolling along Queens Street West last Friday, I stumbled upon this little donut shop. Luckily, I was in the mood for a treat! As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the lovely girl working there! She warmly welcomed me, and was very patient as I familiarized myself with the menu. She recommended the Ube Milk Tea donut and it did not disappoint! Not too sweet, very light and airy, it satisfied my cravings and introduced me to new flavours! I wasn’t able to get her name, but I will definitely be back just because of her great service and recommendation! If you are in the area, definitely stop by!
Liliana D — Google review
I didnt realize we arrived at opening so she was just getting set up but the shop keeper at this location was so nice! The donuts were phenomenal and the Vietnamese iced coffee was killer! I also didn't realize we came from union station and there was another location in there!! Although I recommend that ones convenience, I love the pink and blue house in the middle of the city, it's so cute and quirky and what originally drew us to this place when we were looking for mochi donuts on the map! My fiance got a mango sticky rice donut and I got a fragrant citrusy vanilla bean donut and both were sooooooooooo good! I love mochi but never had tried a mochi donut and it was everything I was hoping. I think we'll be back in the city for a dozen next time soon!!

Nestled in the heart of Toronto, Sweet Flour Bake Shop is a delightful haven for cookie and cupcake enthusiasts. This sleek bakery prides itself on crafting gourmet baked goods from scratch every day, ensuring that each treat is fresh and bursting with flavor. Their impressive selection includes an array of cookies like Butterscotch Toffee, Chocolate Rainbow, Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk, and Ginger Molasses—each one a testament to their baking expertise.
I had an incredible experience with Sweet Flour Bake Shop! From start to finish, everything was seamless. The online ordering process was straightforward, and the chat service was extremely helpful—the agent was polite, knowledgeable, and made the process even easier. The delivery was flawless, and I was so impressed with the packaging—it was impeccable, and everything arrived in perfect condition. It’s rare to order baked goods online and have them look exactly as advertised, but Sweet Flour delivered on that promise! The birthday cupcakes and thank-you cookies were an exact match to the photos, beautifully decorated, and absolutely delicious. At my twins’ birthday party, the kids couldn’t get enough—so many of them asked for seconds! It was such a joy to see everyone enjoying them. I couldn’t be happier with my order, and I highly recommend Sweet Flour Bake Shop to anyone looking for high-quality, beautiful, and tasty treats. So impressed!
Natania M — Google review
I am gonna be honest….i got these for my sons 1st birthday and they are not the best cupcakes I’ve tasted. I don’t know if it’s cause they came frozen. The frosting was rock hard, and the cupcakes themselves had the freezer taste to them. So disappointed… definitely not worth 30 bucks for 6…. I expected better for the price…

I ordered a 12 inch chocolate chunk cookie cake and it was delicious! Everyone that tried a piece thought the same. We were very impressed. You can tell that they use high grade and natural ingredients. It wasn’t very sweet or buttery like the ones I’ve tried in the past. The taste was just right. Customer service is amazing. They actually phoned to see if the cookie had been delivered! I’d definitely order from Sweet Flour again. Thank you!!

I’ve ordered desserts from this company before for work events and they are always delicious and reliable! This time I ordered a cookie cake for my son’s birthday, and it was great. We had it delivered Friday for our party on Sunday as they didn’t have delivery Saturday available and I was a bit nervous it would be hard or taste old but it was perfectly crunchy and soft in the right places. I haven’t had a cookie cake in years so this definitely satisfied my nostalgia!

I had a rush custom order of 200 cupcakes last Friday afternoon to be ready for Monday morning, and Sweet Flour DELIVERED! The cupcakes were beautiful, delicious, and packaged so nicely. I really appreciate how easy they were to work with and their willingness to get this custom order done with short notice. I'll definitely be ordering again, and promise I'll give more notice next time 😉
Sasha H — Google review
We ordered 6 gender reveal cupcakes and asked for the soonest available time. They told us noon the next day (24 hours) and we arrive as 12:03 and they gave us frozen cupcakes. Who in the heck thinks freezing cupcakes when we wanted them asap is a good idea??? Who wants to pay $35 for 6 frozen cupcakes?? I mean seriously…. What a disappointment. Fresh bakery my buns! BOO! Seriously do better.

Amazing Bakery. I ordered the mini cupcakes for my best friends baby shower. The flavors were all DELICIOUS and so fresh. Fantastic customer service, will definitely re buy from here again!!

I ordered online cookies for my granddaughter as a get well gift. I wanted to correct the date of delivery to a day sooner. I called and they were so accommodating and so pleasant on the phone . I wish all businesses would be this professional! I will order again from this company! Thank you.
